- 0:15Speaker 1: just like theming bus things and it's not true. Good
- 0:24Speaker 1: to mother, stay don't join You gotta use that turn out.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You got to turn to turn them out. Turn got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out, to turn turn the water the water. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your baby, uh huh, I show will a
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You all listening to the voice, come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey Man
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. How good is God? Hum? Think
- 2:12Speaker 1: about it? Just take a slight inventory of your own
- 2:15Speaker 1: life and say it to yourself when you get through,
- 2:17Speaker 1: how good is God? Think of all the small things,
- 2:21Speaker 1: all this, because that's him. You breathe as him, you
- 2:24Speaker 1: steal him, that's him. You got another chance. That's him.
- 2:30Speaker 1: You ain't out of him. That's him. You got any
- 2:33Speaker 1: measure of health, that's him. You think it's more to
- 2:36Speaker 1: it than it really is, that it already showed up
- 2:38Speaker 1: to be. That's him. All of that. You got, any dreams,
- 2:42Speaker 1: of aspirations, you dream of other things, that's him. All that,
- 2:46Speaker 1: that's him, that's him, him close you got, that's him
- 2:50Speaker 1: every time you eat. That's why they had this thing
- 2:52Speaker 1: called you say your grace. That's him. That's him, man,
- 2:56Speaker 1: that's him. It's amazing when you take a small inventory
- 2:59Speaker 1: how you find out how big God really is in
- 3:01Speaker 1: your life. Now, the more you turn yourself over to him,
- 3:04Speaker 1: the bigger he can be. For you. See, he'll only
- 3:07Speaker 1: be as big as you let him. It's one thing
- 3:09Speaker 1: about God. Now, he's a gentleman. He can make you
- 3:13Speaker 1: do anything. You know, you get too big for him,
- 3:18Speaker 1: you know you you you, you lose your humbleness. He
- 3:21Speaker 1: can humble you. Now. God created man with the power
- 3:26Speaker 1: of choice. We're the only creature he created that. He
- 3:30Speaker 1: gave us the total power of choice when we mate,
- 3:33Speaker 1: who we mate with. You know everything, all of it. Man.
- 3:39Speaker 1: It's the choice what we want to be, how much
- 3:41Speaker 1: we want to make, where we want to live, what
- 3:42Speaker 1: climate we want to live in. We can live in
- 3:45Speaker 1: cold climates, hot climates. You know, we speak different languages.
- 3:48Speaker 1: You can go learn another language. A bear can't do
- 3:53Speaker 1: nothing but be a bear. Is he can't go learn
- 3:57Speaker 1: how to be a fox. He can't go learn how
- 4:00Speaker 1: to be an otter. He just can't. An ostrich is
- 4:03Speaker 1: an ostrich man. He can't come out of here and
- 4:06Speaker 1: fight like a lion. A lion is a lion. A
- 4:09Speaker 1: lion eat meat. He can't eat vegetables. I don't care
- 4:12Speaker 1: how much meat ain't around. He'll lay down and pull
- 4:15Speaker 1: up out of here and die because he can't eat grass.
- 4:18Speaker 1: He just a lion man. You understand this that God
- 4:23Speaker 1: gave us. We are the one creature he created that
- 4:26Speaker 1: has total power of choice. You can make every decision
- 4:29Speaker 1: in your life. What kind of watch you like, that's
- 4:32Speaker 1: the one you can buy. You want to live in Switzerland,
- 4:37Speaker 1: go ahead. You don't like Switzerland, you can move to Miami.
- 4:41Speaker 1: You want to live your life a crime, go ahead,
- 4:45Speaker 1: that's you. He gave you the power of choice. You
- 4:47Speaker 1: want to do right? Come on, So now look at
- 4:51Speaker 1: this thing. We are all the results of a series
- 4:59Speaker 1: of decisions that we have made. If we could just
- 5:03Speaker 1: identify that the problem is us, we could began the solution.
- 5:09Speaker 1: See that's the problem, y'all, it's us. It's what we do.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I threw my life down the hill. I can't tell
- 5:18Speaker 1: you how many years based on some decisions that I
- 5:21Speaker 1: was making. Now I can justify my decision with I
- 5:24Speaker 1: wasn't happy, and I was doing this and I was
- 5:27Speaker 1: in miserying, y'all on that, yes to you when you
- 5:29Speaker 1: get through. You made the decisions though, and you can
- 5:33Speaker 1: look at this anywhere you want to, y'all. But at
- 5:34Speaker 1: the end of the day, I'm just talking to people
- 5:36Speaker 1: that's really really wanting to improve their position in life.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And how do you do that? You got to have
- 5:43Speaker 1: a solution. How do you come up with a solution?
- 5:47Speaker 1: You got to identify the problem to even began to
- 5:52Speaker 1: solve it. But if the problem ain't ever you, how
- 5:57Speaker 1: are you gonna solve something that ain't you? See? Okay,
- 6:03Speaker 1: let me look at this one. If somebody said, like
- 6:08Speaker 1: I got a child of mine, man, I just do
- 6:10Speaker 1: right here. Man, I don't even wanna get into it
- 6:12Speaker 1: this morning. Or I'm struggling with this this boy. But man,
- 6:16Speaker 1: you go to people, you're asking why they do so?
- 6:20Speaker 1: I just I just wasn't taking care of business. Why
- 6:24Speaker 1: I just didn't take care of business? Boy, do you
- 6:27Speaker 1: understand that your life is gonna be filled with you
- 6:30Speaker 1: got to take care of business. So when you're gonna start,
- 6:34Speaker 1: you know what I mean, you can't you can't, you
- 6:36Speaker 1: can't go through life blaming everybody. It's got to be you. See,
- 6:41Speaker 1: you can fix you. You can't fix nobody else if
- 6:44Speaker 1: you keep getting married and the marriages don't work. Hello, Hello, Hello,
- 6:49Speaker 1: could it be you? South finally had to sit down
- 6:53Speaker 1: and just make that decision. They don't need to be
- 6:55Speaker 1: coming on the radio talking about nobody else and what
- 6:58Speaker 1: they did to me, and y'all just don't know. No, no, no, man,
- 7:01Speaker 1: what about the part you played in it? Because see,
- 7:03Speaker 1: if you got a good marriage, you got a part
- 7:06Speaker 1: to play in that. If you got a bad one,
- 7:07Speaker 1: you got a part to play in that. Even if
- 7:11Speaker 1: you just get down to you the one pick them?
- 7:13Speaker 1: How about that? Mister? Mister, I made a decision. The
- 7:18Speaker 1: problem is usually within yourself. Do you know that's the quickest,
- 7:22Speaker 1: an easy way to fix your life. That way, you
- 7:25Speaker 1: ain't got to check with nobody. Here's the beauty of
- 7:27Speaker 1: going on and admitting that is you. You don't have
- 7:31Speaker 1: to check or clear with nobody to start the repair process.
- 7:36Speaker 1: You don't need anybody's permission. You ain't got to put
- 7:39Speaker 1: it before the review board to see if it'll pass.
- 7:42Speaker 1: It ain't got to go through Congress. You ain't got
- 7:44Speaker 1: to hope that your local politician get their hands on
- 7:47Speaker 1: it to make a phone call for you. You ain't
- 7:49Speaker 1: got to ask any counselors to come in and sit
- 7:51Speaker 1: with you. You don't have to check it in the rehab.
- 7:53Speaker 1: All you got to do is decide the problem is me.
- 7:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna start changing me. Identify the problem, and start
- 8:05Speaker 1: with the part that you can own up to. Once
- 8:12Speaker 1: you identify the problem, you can start planning on how
- 8:15Speaker 1: to fix it or how to get to accomplishing something.
- 8:18Speaker 1: But remember this planning is important. If you fail to plan,
- 8:24Speaker 1: then please plan to fail. If you don't know how
- 8:28Speaker 1: to make a plan, let's just start with the basics.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Just make a list of what you want. Make this
- 8:36Speaker 1: list and then go to God in prayer with an
- 8:39Speaker 1: open mind and open your mind up to all the
- 8:45Speaker 1: clean opportunities that are available here. Why a lot of
- 8:49Speaker 1: people won't succeed because certain opportunities come along you don't
- 8:53Speaker 1: want to do them. That kills me. Man, when I
- 8:55Speaker 1: hear here, I ain't doing that. I know young comedians
- 8:59Speaker 1: that come to me all the time. I'm talking about. Man,
- 9:01Speaker 1: what you're not saying, Man, Just take every gig you can,
- 9:03Speaker 1: no matter what they pay. Well, listen to me, son,
- 9:08Speaker 1: you can go make that money that they pay, or
- 9:11Speaker 1: you can make the decision to sit at home and
- 9:13Speaker 1: make nobody. It's a comedy, a hard business. They ain't
- 9:18Speaker 1: paying but one hundred dollars. You gotta drive, drive fifty miles.
- 9:21Speaker 1: But if you drive fifty miles and you make the
- 9:23Speaker 1: hundred and you stand on that stage for thirty minutes,
- 9:26Speaker 1: you are now thirty minutes better than you was the
- 9:29Speaker 1: last time you went on stage. Oh, man, you ain't man,
- 9:34Speaker 1: they don't pay me. I ain't coming. You ain't going
- 9:36Speaker 1: to be a comedian, man, not not, not like this hill.
- 9:40Speaker 1: A lot of people just don't want to do what's
- 9:42Speaker 1: necessary to do. So when the opportunity presents itself and
- 9:46Speaker 1: you open up your mind to it, man, then get
- 9:48Speaker 1: ready to go on and do it. Man, identify your
- 9:52Speaker 1: problem today, start with the part dash you're listening to show.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have you undivided attention. It's

- 11:55Speaker 1: to make sure that we read it carefully. Get over
- 11:59Speaker 1: to your momminem's house, your aunt's house, get everything downloaded
- 12:03Speaker 1: that you need, and make sure that some that they
- 12:07Speaker 1: not that they're trying to suppress the votes or listen
- 12:09Speaker 1: to me. Sometimes they require a certain color ink, blue
- 12:13Speaker 1: or black. You gotta watch that. You gotta make sure
- 12:17Speaker 1: that you check all the boxes. You gotta make that
- 12:20Speaker 1: you gotta make sure that you've signed everywhere you're supposed
- 12:24Speaker 1: to sign. Go over this thing five times. If you
- 12:27Speaker 1: don't understand, get somebody that does understand, but do not
- 12:33Speaker 1: let them miscount your vote. Let's start now making sure
- 12:39Speaker 1: that we have our ballot, making sure that we have
- 12:41Speaker 1: our polling place, making sure that we are registered, making
- 12:45Speaker 1: sure that our address is current so it don't be
- 12:48Speaker 1: no okay, dope with our vote. Because they are trying everything.
- 12:55Speaker 1: They are trying everything. They know they're behind in the polls,
- 12:59Speaker 1: and they scared that we're gonna show up and vote.
- 13:02Speaker 1: If we show up, we change the election. Amen period period.
- 13:12Speaker 1: He don't think we matter, We gonna show him. He
- 13:15Speaker 1: said one thing on behalf of Black Lives Matter, because
- 13:18Speaker 1: he don't care if they matter or not. He does
- 13:21Speaker 1: not care. He's proven the time and time a dame. Absolutely. Yeah,
- 13:25Speaker 1: that's right. We gotta show him at the polls, Steve.
- 13:31Speaker 1: All right, guys, coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:33Speaker 1: the hour, we're gonna change things around a little bit
- 13:36Speaker 1: to get ready for Ask the Clo. Asked the cello
- 13:40Speaker 1: with the cloth coming up right after this. You're listening to, Well,
- 13:47Speaker 1: it's time now for Steve to help some of our
- 13:49Speaker 1: listeners with their love questions. Time for Ask the Clo
- 13:53Speaker 1: and go ahead. The first person that I want to
- 13:56Speaker 1: help with love is Junior and Tommy, and I want
- 14:00Speaker 1: to help them because I know they love the Texas
- 14:03Speaker 1: and I want them to know that I wore one
- 14:11Speaker 1: funking game. I didn't mention the game that I want.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Oh that's what this is about, because you wouldn't be
- 14:16Speaker 1: saying nothing had you lost Thursday night. Yes he would, Yes,
- 14:20Speaker 1: he would do what you say, Junior know your uncle? Yeah, yes,
- 14:27Speaker 1: I'm from Cleveland. Yeah, I'm used to not winning the game. Anyway.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Let's go, chief loving go ahead. Yeah. You can submit
- 14:38Speaker 1: your questions to Steve HARVEYFM dot com. Are you ready Steve,
- 14:41Speaker 1: Yes you are. Yeah. This one's from Sucky I Montgomery,
- 14:46Speaker 1: Sucky Sucky Nah suky. I'm about to beat my best
- 14:52Speaker 1: friend's tail over some money. She lost her job four
- 14:56Speaker 1: months ago, and I gave her my whole Stimulu check
- 15:01Speaker 1: because I had saved money and I have a great job.
- 15:04Speaker 1: She got a new job a month ago, and I
- 15:06Speaker 1: took her out to celebrate. I haven't talked to her
- 15:09Speaker 1: since then, but we've texted back and forth. Then I
- 15:13Speaker 1: saw her on social media. I saw that on social
- 15:16Speaker 1: media that she and her son went to the beach
- 15:18Speaker 1: last weekend, and she posted pictures of the Airbnb that
- 15:21Speaker 1: she rented. I texted her that I need to talk
- 15:23Speaker 1: to her, but she's ignored me. I'm trying to settle
- 15:27Speaker 1: this without fighting. What should I do? Well, whole checks,
- 15:33Speaker 1: whole checks entire, Yeah, require some type of fight. I don't.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I don't really see no way around this hill. Now.
- 15:45Speaker 1: You know, you know, girlfriends, you know DA's up. You
- 15:54Speaker 1: know it's it's the rough approach to rup approach. That's
- 15:57Speaker 1: to roll up on him approach. You could do down
- 16:00Speaker 1: there Me and Tommy's service is always available. That's to
- 16:04Speaker 1: ride down there dot com that's available. Uh you know
- 16:12Speaker 1: then it's uh uh uh what we have new program
- 16:18Speaker 1: called a Y A w A that's uh, that's ass
- 16:22Speaker 1: whippings Anonymous. You have several programs that ass whippings Anonymous,
- 16:37Speaker 1: where we go down and what people have asked for
- 16:39Speaker 1: you and don't even tell them what it's fault. Yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 1: you just on what the hell have But you will
- 16:47Speaker 1: be completely satisfied. Yeah, and you need some new friends.
- 16:50Speaker 1: That's your best friend. Uh my whole stimulus check. Come on,
- 16:55Speaker 1: suck you Yeah, all right Anonymous. As an online listener,
- 17:01Speaker 1: Steve Anonymous says, I ran into an old high school
- 17:05Speaker 1: crush at a barbecue and he was still as fine
- 17:07Speaker 1: at heck. We hung out all night and I got
- 17:09Speaker 1: drunk enough to have sex with him in his car.
- 17:12Speaker 1: We hung out all night and I got drunk. He
- 17:16Speaker 1: had a condom and I thought he put it on,
- 17:19Speaker 1: but he didn't. So I asked him to split the
- 17:22Speaker 1: cost of a Plan B pill with me. He told
- 17:24Speaker 1: me no, and he said he's sure. It's not the
- 17:26Speaker 1: first Plan B pill I've bought. Because I gave up
- 17:30Speaker 1: the booty real quick. I'm twenty two and I've never
- 17:33Speaker 1: done anything like this. And I'm so embarrassed. We have
- 17:36Speaker 1: a lot of mutual friends, so I hope he doesn't
- 17:38Speaker 1: give me a bad reputation. Is there anyway I can
- 17:41Speaker 1: fix this? No, but you do have to get your
- 17:44Speaker 1: plan b pell and you need to quit warring about
- 17:48Speaker 1: this idiot right here and your reputation. You did what
- 17:52Speaker 1: you did. Let's stop blaming sex. Let's stop blaming drunk
- 17:57Speaker 1: on sex. When you drunk, it just allows you to
- 18:00Speaker 1: think less clearly, and you do what your thoughts tell
- 18:04Speaker 1: you to do. You first of all, you need to
- 18:07Speaker 1: stop drinking. Yeah, because you obviously don't know how to
- 18:11Speaker 1: act when you're drinking. Now you're twenty two. Everybody's made
- 18:14Speaker 1: these mistakes. You're not the baddest person in the world.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Shake it off, recover, get up, take take your pill,
- 18:22Speaker 1: and gone about your business. He thinks of you the
- 18:26Speaker 1: way he thinks of you because you did what you
- 18:30Speaker 1: did rather quickly, and that's how guys do. They're very judgmental.
- 18:34Speaker 1: And you had sex in the car, didn't take much
- 18:37Speaker 1: to get you there, So you've learned a valuable mistake
- 18:40Speaker 1: right now, Quit righting in asking people about it. Stop
- 18:44Speaker 1: that and gone fix your life. Get up, gone about
- 18:47Speaker 1: your business, you had a condom on what you mean
- 18:51Speaker 1: you thought? How drunk was you? Yeah? Sex couldn't have
- 18:56Speaker 1: been good, really, but you gotta protect yourself. I mean,
- 19:02Speaker 1: come on now, right, Yes, safe sex, behavior, pregnancy and
- 19:07Speaker 1: all that, right, right, yes, because what do they call it?
- 19:12Speaker 1: Birth control is not the morning after peel. Birth control
- 19:17Speaker 1: extends far beyond that, and you're not protecting yourself from
- 19:20Speaker 1: disease at all, right, all right? Cornell in Fort Myers, Florida, says,
- 19:27Speaker 1: I'm a thirty one year old black man dating a
- 19:29Speaker 1: twenty seven year old woman, and her family hates me
- 19:32Speaker 1: because of my past. I've been convicted twice for selling
- 19:35Speaker 1: drugs when I was in my twenties. But I have
- 19:37Speaker 1: totally changed my life and I'm saved. I do personal
- 19:41Speaker 1: security work and I'm a trainer at a gym, but
- 19:44Speaker 1: her father doesn't cut me any slack. I hate to
- 19:46Speaker 1: see my girlfriend stuck in the middle. I tried to
- 19:48Speaker 1: talk to her parents, but they just don't get it.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I'm starting to think maybe my girlfriend is better off
- 19:53Speaker 1: without me. Should I fight for her? Well? Is she
- 19:57Speaker 1: fighting for you? It's the questions that's the question. Is
- 20:01Speaker 1: she fighting for you? Sometimes man, and let me tell
- 20:05Speaker 1: you this, just because you want something and you want
- 20:09Speaker 1: to be forgiven. God forgives your past, not people. So
- 20:14Speaker 1: if if you've gotten yourself together and you saved now,
- 20:18Speaker 1: then go on and be saved. This may not be
- 20:21Speaker 1: the one for you. Sometimes when you make mistakes, you
- 20:25Speaker 1: can't correct it all and get it all back the
- 20:28Speaker 1: way you want it. You want a relationship, you want
- 20:30Speaker 1: to be looked at as this new person. But you
- 20:32Speaker 1: got two drug convictions. Of course her parents is gonna
- 20:35Speaker 1: be leary. Yeah, you know. So you're saying, okay, well
- 20:45Speaker 1: we got If you don't think it's worth the fight,
- 20:48Speaker 1: move on, But the question is is she fighting for you?
- 20:51Speaker 1: Don't sound like all right? Thank you? Seelo. Coming up next,
- 20:55Speaker 1: church complaints with Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam. Right
- 20:58Speaker 1: after this, you're listen Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 21:03Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Miss Anna is here
- 21:05Speaker 1: with today's national news, and she'll have the latest on
- 21:08Speaker 1: tropical Storm Beta plus an entertainment news. Bronnie James lebron
- 21:13Speaker 1: James's fifteen year old son. It seemed to be smoking
- 21:16Speaker 1: on social media. Also, the Primetime Virtual Emmys were last
- 21:20Speaker 1: night and the tenth anniversary of the iHeartRadio Musical Festival
- 21:24Speaker 1: twenty twenty with star Studded. We'll talk about all of
- 21:27Speaker 1: these stories at the top of the hour. But today
- 21:29Speaker 1: is Monday, so you know what that means. Time now
- 21:32Speaker 1: for Reverend Motown and Deacon def Jam with today's church complain.
- 21:38Speaker 1: We galful every Monday moaning to Paul, take of the
- 21:47Speaker 1: impetrosities that's been going on at the church of your repute.
- 21:55Speaker 1: We have improprosities. Oh we deal with the ingoriousness and
- 22:06Speaker 1: remember a putually continue and we are here too. All
- 22:17Speaker 1: get into the ventualities of what is the complaints this week?
- 22:22Speaker 1: Go here all right? I passed. The people have gotten
- 22:27Speaker 1: fair up with it. Everyone wants to start coming back
- 22:29Speaker 1: to church as soon as possible. They say, you are
- 22:31Speaker 1: going too far um with your sermon. It seems whatever
- 22:36Speaker 1: you are watching on TV, that's your sermon. Yesterday it
- 22:39Speaker 1: was out if you can remember, it was you printed
- 22:44Speaker 1: on the have and have nots yesterday and felt that
- 22:49Speaker 1: we've been felt that it was blackish. It's just too much.
- 22:52Speaker 1: It's too much. It's too much, and everybody ready to
- 22:55Speaker 1: come back. You can treat from the Bible. What you
- 23:00Speaker 1: got your chi that's not helpening, that's not real. And
- 23:03Speaker 1: all this money. I've already written the service for tonight's
- 23:09Speaker 1: Bible study. You have not because you asked not. And
- 23:17Speaker 1: this servt is written for those of my parishioners that
- 23:21Speaker 1: live in Houston. You don't have a win because you
- 23:30Speaker 1: asked now you. I watched it, did that on television too,
- 23:38Speaker 1: just to be show you other part me of the servant.
- 23:44Speaker 1: You can't always get what you want. That's a win.
- 23:52Speaker 1: Go ahead, Deacon all right passed that I'm skeptical about this.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Here cart it being making a stack. I want to
- 24:00Speaker 1: perform next Sunday here at the church. They want to
- 24:03Speaker 1: do wha Now they're saying it stands for worship and praise.
- 24:07Speaker 1: But I'm scared to let them up there paths and
- 24:09Speaker 1: I don't know what you how you's on you, how
- 24:11Speaker 1: you want to have Well, I'm gonna allow it better
- 24:20Speaker 1: if they come and live, and we're gonna all sit
- 24:25Speaker 1: there and be a part of the face it's own zoom.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I will be live at this zoom. Now is the
- 24:35Speaker 1: thing you be live our praise dancers. I've already already
- 24:42Speaker 1: asked me becauld they be in this video, and I
- 24:44Speaker 1: said no, because they're not. The bodies are not qualified
- 24:48Speaker 1: for this vie. I ain't. None of our sisters should
- 24:53Speaker 1: be in that video. That's true. They don't. They can't
- 24:58Speaker 1: held it can walk would just be standing for big
- 25:01Speaker 1: way to ask people call they sweat a lot and
- 25:05Speaker 1: when they praised side Yeah right people people's you know
- 25:12Speaker 1: they big and they when they praised dance, they sweat hall.
- 25:16Speaker 1: All right, let's get down to the people past. The
- 25:19Speaker 1: women who are who breastfeed would like to know, Well,
- 25:23Speaker 1: hold on, I just came up with something. We will
- 25:26Speaker 1: allow our praise dancers to join in. But it won't
- 25:30Speaker 1: be the walk video. It'd be the SAP video. Sap
- 25:34Speaker 1: what that what that SAP sweat sweat ass people and
- 25:40Speaker 1: Custer and cut well Carter beating them gonna be here.
- 25:49Speaker 1: But the offering, But the offering that Sunday, the change
- 25:53Speaker 1: that's gonna be on the floor gonna be out standing.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Go ahead, And the women who breastfeed would like another
- 26:00Speaker 1: You would like for them to go offline when breastfeeding
- 26:02Speaker 1: or can they continue doing service on zone? Yeah, breastfeeding
- 26:08Speaker 1: is a natural or at that women and children hell,
- 26:13Speaker 1: I'm not going to get into that or no being
- 26:17Speaker 1: or male chauviness or anything about it. So whatever they
- 26:22Speaker 1: want to do, I've always been a pro choice and
- 26:25Speaker 1: women should make that decision on their own, So stay
- 26:30Speaker 1: out of that way. They'll have a covering, they'll they'll
- 26:33Speaker 1: be cut, you know, they'll have a tower or something. Yeah,
- 26:37Speaker 1: the sister Ferguson needs a beach tie. Speaking of covering paths,
- 26:48Speaker 1: Thermal Sister Therman needs a big sheet. We're moving on.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Our ugly members are not wearing their masks doing service.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Could you please talk to them before we had service? Again,
- 27:02Speaker 1: that is the reason we have required mask. That is
- 27:05Speaker 1: not listen to me your own zoom. But we are
- 27:11Speaker 1: still practicing as though we are alive, and that was
- 27:15Speaker 1: the main reason. Called Brother Brown Jay Anthony. It's too
- 27:19Speaker 1: close to his camera. And we have asked the ugly
- 27:24Speaker 1: church members to wear your mass so you ain't just
- 27:28Speaker 1: up on hill like brother Brown. Always too close. That's right,
- 27:36Speaker 1: that's right. Pastor. The women that are over forty five
- 27:40Speaker 1: would like to know if you would be interested in
- 27:42Speaker 1: judging and online baby hall contest only if it really
- 27:50Speaker 1: is your baby. Hell. What we had some cheating last year,
- 27:55Speaker 1: and that women was taking actual baby hall and glueing
- 27:59Speaker 1: it around the edge. And I found that out. I
- 28:06Speaker 1: got to disqualify some people. Sister Tatum tore hers off
- 28:13Speaker 1: too early and had skinned of bridges all crossin. Yeah,
- 28:21Speaker 1: Sister Marva Hayes has been stranded past that her house
- 28:24Speaker 1: for the last three weeks. No one has checked on hi.
- 28:27Speaker 1: She says she only had cheese to eat for three weeks.
- 28:31Speaker 1: She hadn't gone to the bathroom in three weeks, and
- 28:33Speaker 1: she's calling the church to see it. We can help
- 28:35Speaker 1: her go. So I don't know how to handle it.
- 28:37Speaker 1: But she hasn't gone in three weeks. Back brother Ferguson
- 28:40Speaker 1: over there with oh, two gallons of prune juice, she'd
- 28:48Speaker 1: be backing none. That cheese is incredible mix. All right,
- 28:55Speaker 1: thank you, pastor, thank you Deacon. See you next Monday.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Entertainment and
- 29:01Speaker 1: national news. Right after this. You're listening. In today's entertainment news,
- 29:10Speaker 1: Lebron James's son, fifteen year old Brownie, went viral after
- 29:15Speaker 1: sharing a video of himself smoking. No one really knows
- 29:19Speaker 1: what he was allegedly smoke smoking, but Bronnie immediately took
- 29:23Speaker 1: the post down, but not before people captured it and
- 29:26Speaker 1: spread it all over social media, all over social media.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Yoh yeah, your daddy hand who okay, who can't? Yeah?
- 29:41Speaker 1: You know people were going in on Brownie saying, you know,
- 29:44Speaker 1: you can't let your dad down. Yeah, well, I mean
- 29:48Speaker 1: you know, but we didn't tell the k yeah, and
- 29:51Speaker 1: we didn't have social media, remember that when we were
- 29:53Speaker 1: right right, I'm talking about down on the flow. Oh,
- 30:04Speaker 1: it's one thing to do it, but it's another thing.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Every last want to mind and let me down too.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Can you gonna sit your ass down somewhere bubble? But
- 30:24Speaker 1: you know it's tough, but you know, it is tough
- 30:27Speaker 1: when you have famous parents because you get a piece
- 30:31Speaker 1: of scrutiny that some people don't and you have to
- 30:34Speaker 1: be conscious of your place. And people are right and saying, hey,
- 30:38Speaker 1: you need to you need to watch it. Man, you
- 30:40Speaker 1: putting because you're famous, you know what you do, and
- 30:44Speaker 1: your fame is usually because of your parents. That's famous.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Lebron James Junior is famous because of Lebron James Senior. Yes,
- 30:54Speaker 1: please understand that he would just be another kid. And
- 30:58Speaker 1: you know, so you know I ain't. I ain't mad
- 31:01Speaker 1: at either one of them. You know you can't, Lebron
- 31:04Speaker 1: still a great parent. You could be the best parent
- 31:06Speaker 1: in the world, and your kids are going to do
- 31:08Speaker 1: something that's counter to everything you've ever talked. Oh lord,
- 31:15Speaker 1: you can be the best parent in the world, man,
- 31:18Speaker 1: and do nothing to deserve some of the actions of
- 31:20Speaker 1: your children because they're going to make decisions. And then
- 31:24Speaker 1: the sad part about their decisions now it is us
- 31:27Speaker 1: all attached to a post on what these stories is
- 31:31Speaker 1: I learned. I learned more about my kids on stories
- 31:34Speaker 1: than I do talking to the real But that's what
- 31:46Speaker 1: social media does. Though it separates us, makes everybody you're
- 31:52Speaker 1: not a parent. As kid goes total opposite of what
- 31:55Speaker 1: you sit down and tell it. As I saw, how
- 32:01Speaker 1: much you write it up, how much you put it
- 32:02Speaker 1: on a black board, they will do the total opposite
- 32:07Speaker 1: of what you're telling the right deliberately, right, hey dog.
- 32:10Speaker 1: And until that happens to you, you don't even know
- 32:14Speaker 1: what parenting is. I had to. I had to do it.
- 32:18Speaker 1: That criticized one of my kids one time on social
- 32:22Speaker 1: media a dude I know and openly came he framed
- 32:26Speaker 1: us and gonna run his mouth. But see, like I
- 32:29Speaker 1: like I said to this brother, your children, young dog,
- 32:34Speaker 1: your children at your house. They ain't even teenagers yet.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Whole tight. It's coming. Oh yes, it's coming, partner, So
- 32:41Speaker 1: be careful throwing these rocks because you're in a glass
- 32:45Speaker 1: house that ain't even finished getting built yet. So it's coming. Yeah. Uh.
- 32:51Speaker 1: And we got to talk about this and other entertainment news.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Eddie Murphy. We gotta say congratulations Eddie Murphy one his
- 32:59Speaker 1: first Emmy, his guth role on Saturday Night Live. Oh
- 33:03Speaker 1: my god. Yeah, that's the shame. Yes, all these years. Yeah, yeah,
- 33:10Speaker 1: I'm happy for him. Yeah, all right, Steve, time for
- 33:16Speaker 1: two day's latest headlines. Ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne Trip,
- 33:19Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, everybody. In good morning, everybody. It
- 33:22Speaker 1: is Monday. Flags are flying at half staff. Lawmakers, even
- 33:25Speaker 1: members of the entertainment world still paying tribute to the
- 33:28Speaker 1: late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who passed away
- 33:31Speaker 1: on Friday of pancreatic cancer at age eighty seven. Justice
- 33:35Speaker 1: Ginsberg's body is to Lion State of the Supreme Court
- 33:38Speaker 1: for two days, and she's to be buried at Arlington
- 33:40Speaker 1: National cemetery next to her late husband, former President Back Obama,
- 33:44Speaker 1: Alexandrio Kazio Cortez, and Elizabeth Warren, joined by actors like
- 33:48Speaker 1: Kerry Washington, Yarashahiti, even the Princess of Sussex, Meghan Markle
- 33:52Speaker 1: taking to social media to honor the jurist legacy on
- 33:55Speaker 1: women's rights. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden says, the nations
- 33:59Speaker 1: should remember her fondly. My honor to preside over her
- 34:03Speaker 1: confirmation hearing and in the decade since, she has been
- 34:08Speaker 1: absolutely consistent and reliable in a voice for freedom and
- 34:13Speaker 1: opportunity for everyone, and we should focus on the loss
- 34:17Speaker 1: of the justice and her enduring legacy. Upon hearing of
- 34:23Speaker 1: her death, Democrats raised some seventy one million dollars in
- 34:26Speaker 1: campaign funds. Meanwhile, Donald Trump was wasting no time and
- 34:29Speaker 1: insisting that the US Senate vote in another one of
- 34:32Speaker 1: his right wing picks for the High Court. MAGA supporters
- 34:35Speaker 1: agree that a Trump rally on Saturday in Fayetteville, North Carolina,
- 34:41Speaker 1: chanting fill that seat, filled that seat, even though it's
- 34:44Speaker 1: only about forty days to the election. And as you
- 34:46Speaker 1: may remember, Republicans stopped President Obama from naming someone to
- 34:50Speaker 1: the Supreme Court, that trimp before the trimp Clinton election.
- 34:53Speaker 1: That GOP leader Mitch McConnell at that time claiming that
- 34:56Speaker 1: the American public should be allowed to elect a new
- 34:58Speaker 1: commander in chief before any High Court nominees would considered.
- 35:02Speaker 1: That was not forty days away. That was two hundred
- 35:05Speaker 1: days away, before the prudential presidential vote was to be taken,
- 35:08Speaker 1: and they stopped President Obama anyway, So the GOP now
- 35:11Speaker 1: singing a different tune. If you're asking whether this Republican
- 35:15Speaker 1: Senate would confirm a member of the Supreme Court to
- 35:19Speaker 1: a vacancy that created this year, yeah, we would fill it.
- 35:22Speaker 1: I would support going ahead, even though it's a lame
- 35:25Speaker 1: duck session. It is still a Republican president and still
- 35:29Speaker 1: a Republican Senate. The President should nominate a successor to
- 35:34Speaker 1: the Court, and I think it is critical that the
- 35:36Speaker 1: Senate takes up and confirms that successor before election day. Well,
- 35:43Speaker 1: while the Republicans singing a different tune, it's these days
- 35:46Speaker 1: about the nomination of Supreme Court justice. Is today September
- 35:48Speaker 1: twenty first, which has its own tomb. That's right, it's
- 35:55Speaker 1: September twenty first, now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:59Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve, it's time to take it away.
- 36:04Speaker 1: This is you and your boy. Look here, Uh, me
- 36:07Speaker 1: and Jay was going over some things that we need
- 36:10Speaker 1: to bring y'all's attention. Uh. These are medical terms, and um.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Medical terms are really complicated, y'all. And so that's why
- 36:21Speaker 1: most people don't use medical terms. They'd like to talk
- 36:25Speaker 1: in very simple terms. For an example, you know, now,
- 36:30Speaker 1: Jay and I will give you some medical terms and
- 36:33Speaker 1: then we'll tell you how what we say as to
- 36:36Speaker 1: keep it simple, Yes, keeping a simple breaking it down.
- 36:41Speaker 1: For instance, we don't say we're going to see the position.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I can't even say that word. That's why we don't
- 36:47Speaker 1: use it. We say, Steve, we're going to the doctor,
- 36:54Speaker 1: right yosition, and we're going to the doctor. That's right, Okay,
- 37:00Speaker 1: I got you. We don't say we don't say we
- 37:04Speaker 1: take prescriptions. We don't say that that's complicated. What we
- 37:08Speaker 1: say is what we take medicine. Red peels is for this, yalla.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Peels is for this and Jay and then them. Diamond
- 37:25Speaker 1: shape peels is for you know what the refrigerator. If
- 37:30Speaker 1: you're going to refrigerator damn it. We're going to get it. Okay,
- 37:33Speaker 1: that love it? I love it. Yeah. We don't say
- 37:39Speaker 1: we see a rash or or infection. We don't say that.
- 37:44Speaker 1: What we say is was the what's that thing on
- 37:47Speaker 1: your neck? Do don't what you got? Dog? What? What? What?
- 37:57Speaker 1: Why that like that? We we don't say. We don't
- 38:04Speaker 1: we break it down. We don't say what is your temperature?
- 38:08Speaker 1: We don't do that. We don't do that. What we say, Stean,
- 38:11Speaker 1: why are you sweating so much? Oh? With you man?
- 38:20Speaker 1: Going out of here with all that now and this
- 38:24Speaker 1: big with him? We don't say the word ain't symptomatic.
- 38:28Speaker 1: We don't use that word. What we say is what Steve,
- 38:31Speaker 1: he got that thing? Got that thing? What the hell
- 38:37Speaker 1: you mean? You ain't know you had? Hold up? Ja, Jay,
- 38:42Speaker 1: let me ask you one. We don't say social distancing.
- 38:46Speaker 1: That's not what we say. We don't say social distance.
- 38:50Speaker 1: What do we say, Jay? Don't we say? Staniel? Ass
- 38:54Speaker 1: over there? Keep burning back some more on the outside
- 39:04Speaker 1: of the door and talk. Okay, that's what we see
- 39:08Speaker 1: in the last one, Steven. We don't say, you'll cue it.
- 39:11Speaker 1: What we say what we see it. We're a worried home.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Thank you guys. Coming up. At thirty four minutes after
- 39:19Speaker 1: the hour, Senator Mitch McConnell blocked obama Supreme Court choice,
- 39:23Speaker 1: but he will not block Trump's pick. We'll talk about
- 39:26Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to show well. Some
- 39:32Speaker 1: sad news. M eighty seven year old Justice Ruth Bader
- 39:36Speaker 1: Ginsburg passed away on Friday. She was in her home
- 39:39Speaker 1: surrounded by family. The cause of death was complications from
- 39:44Speaker 1: pancreatic cancer. Justice Ginsburg served twenty seven years on the
- 39:49Speaker 1: nation's highest court. She was picked by President Bill Clinton.
- 39:53Speaker 1: She was a tireless champion for justice and fought for
- 39:56Speaker 1: women's rights, and just days before her death, Justice Ginsburg
- 40:00Speaker 1: dictated a statement to her granddaughter Clara, saying, quote, my
- 40:04Speaker 1: most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced
- 40:08Speaker 1: until a new president is installed. Unquote. President Trump has
- 40:14Speaker 1: pledged to nominate a woman for the seat. Senate Majority
- 40:18Speaker 1: Leader Mitch McConnell said, trump Supreme Court nominee will receive
- 40:21Speaker 1: a vote on the Senate floor. So even though the
- 40:26Speaker 1: election is only about forty three days away, they're going
- 40:30Speaker 1: to forge ahead anyway. They're moving ahead with this nomination
- 40:34Speaker 1: it's almost like they're rushing it through. They're rushing it through. Yeah, yeah,
- 40:39Speaker 1: we are. We mourning her, you know, I mean, this
- 40:42Speaker 1: was a powerful woman. You know, she changed the world
- 40:46Speaker 1: for a lot of people. And we all remember back
- 40:50Speaker 1: in twenty sixteen when Justice Scalia died and President Obama
- 40:53Speaker 1: wanted to pick Merrick Garland. Remember, Mitch McConnell made the
- 40:58Speaker 1: argument for not filling the seat because as it was
- 41:00Speaker 1: an election year and voters, voters should decide which presidential
- 41:05Speaker 1: candidate should pick the next justice. We all remember that.
- 41:08Speaker 1: I don't apply now, don't maybe if it was a
- 41:17Speaker 1: Republican to this. Yeah, he said it all, that's what happened. Yeah,
- 41:28Speaker 1: he's he's with miss McConnell on this one. Now normally
- 41:31Speaker 1: he is, so yeah, yeah, yeah, they've all flipped. They've
- 41:36Speaker 1: all flipped. Uh. It is forty three days until the
- 41:41Speaker 1: November third election. So we're urging you, urging you, like
- 41:45Speaker 1: Michelle Obama said, our forever first lady, vote like your
- 41:49Speaker 1: life depended on it. Okay, go right now to register
- 41:52Speaker 1: to vote at vote dot org and get your dates
- 41:56Speaker 1: so you can early vote in your state. We want
- 41:59Speaker 1: to early vote on this election. Man, see what were
- 42:04Speaker 1: you saying about Nancy Pelosi. You're saying that, Yeah, there
- 42:07Speaker 1: are awesome things that the Democrats can do to slow
- 42:11Speaker 1: this process down so he doesn't rush to try to
- 42:14Speaker 1: get this Republican in this move he's talking about. He
- 42:17Speaker 1: wants to do a woman in all this here. He
- 42:20Speaker 1: just wants to rile up his base further convince everybody
- 42:24Speaker 1: that he's the staunch Republican and he's not. And so
- 42:30Speaker 1: she had there's a couple of moves that the Democrats
- 42:33Speaker 1: can make that could prevent this from happening. But but
- 42:36Speaker 1: it's gonna have to be gangster. It's gonna have to
- 42:40Speaker 1: be gangster. Yeah, come on, Democrats. One I think Steve
- 42:43Speaker 1: is for four Republicans to say wait till after the election.
- 42:49Speaker 1: That's yeah, four of them. They have two now. Yeah,
- 42:52Speaker 1: but you know, uh, this dude here, man, he's just
- 42:57Speaker 1: so he's he's fighting hard, all right. We knew that
- 43:01Speaker 1: he's a scrapper. He's fighting. Wow, He's not a scrapper,
- 43:05Speaker 1: he's a He's this guy breaks all day, he bends
- 43:10Speaker 1: them to his will. The only thing he cares about
- 43:15Speaker 1: only him. He only cares about winning. He cares about nothing. Else. See,
- 43:21Speaker 1: that's what I call a scrapper. You're in there, you're
- 43:23Speaker 1: playing dirty, you're doing whatever, you care, whatever, whatever, whatever,
- 43:28Speaker 1: you don't care. You just want to win at all costs. Yes,
- 43:31Speaker 1: at all costs. That's what I mean when I say
- 43:34Speaker 1: he's a scrapper. Yeah, but again, um forty three days
- 43:39Speaker 1: and go to vote dot org. Please we need your votes,
- 43:43Speaker 1: We need your vote. I hope Biden really get him
- 43:45Speaker 1: in this debate. I really do. Yeah, I'm the twenty ninth,
- 43:48Speaker 1: the first one. You know. They're saying that the debate
- 43:50Speaker 1: won't change anybody's mind, but it will. I mean, I
- 43:55Speaker 1: just want. I mean, it really will. But you know,
- 43:59Speaker 1: his NAT fan base, his base, they don't give a
- 44:02Speaker 1: damn what do you do? Yeah, right, clearly, all right,
- 44:05Speaker 1: I'm moving on, coming up next to Nephew in the
- 44:08Speaker 1: building with today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're
- 44:12Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 44:16Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's
- 44:19Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today, subject watch what you say

- 44:43Speaker 1: Right now, though, the nephew is here with today's prank
- 44:46Speaker 1: phone call. What you got for us? Now? Guess who's
- 44:49Speaker 1: moving next door? Guess who's moving next Joe, let's roll,
- 44:54Speaker 1: Come on, I'm trying to reach Dophins Dolan. Dolan, Dolan,
- 45:02Speaker 1: mister Dolan, Yes, sir, how are you doing. My name
- 45:04Speaker 1: is uh Clifford Cooper. Yeah, what can I do for you? Mister? Uh?
- 45:10Speaker 1: You you you live at uh uh check you out drawn?
- 45:15Speaker 1: Why do you want to know that? Uh? Well, actually
- 45:17Speaker 1: I'm at sixteen twenty three. I bought I bought the
- 45:21Speaker 1: uh I actually bought the house that was for sale
- 45:23Speaker 1: next door. Team Okay, well congratulations, but how did you
- 45:26Speaker 1: get my number? Actually the realtor told me that he
- 45:30Speaker 1: had a number because I said I wanted to reach
- 45:32Speaker 1: out to the neighbor's next door. And he told me
- 45:35Speaker 1: that mister Dolan was actually the person next door and
- 45:38Speaker 1: and uh he didn't think you would mind me me
- 45:40Speaker 1: actually getting the number. Okay, well, I'll talk with the
- 45:43Speaker 1: real layer. But what can I do for you, sir?
- 45:46Speaker 1: What what? What I What I wanted to know is,
- 45:48Speaker 1: do do you have any problems like living next door
- 45:50Speaker 1: to to to black people? I'm sorry, what did you
- 45:54Speaker 1: just ask me? I mean, like like I said, you know,
- 45:56Speaker 1: like I said, I just bought the place next door,
- 45:58Speaker 1: and I wanted to know, do you have any problems
- 46:01Speaker 1: you know, living next to do with the black people? Uh? No, sir,
- 46:05Speaker 1: I have no problem. I'm assuming you're a black man,
- 46:08Speaker 1: and uh I have no problem with that. I judge
- 46:11Speaker 1: people by their actions, not their color. Okay, now do
- 46:14Speaker 1: you do you do you have any any black people experience? Well? Yeah,
- 46:18Speaker 1: I've worked with, gone to school with, have several friends
- 46:21Speaker 1: of many different ethnicities. Uh but what what is it?
- 46:24Speaker 1: What's this? How is this relative? Well? You know, like
- 46:28Speaker 1: I say, I'm gonna be I'm gonna be living next
- 46:29Speaker 1: to you, and I'm just making sure that you know,
- 46:32Speaker 1: you and I can coincide a co exist rather on
- 46:36Speaker 1: the same block and not really have a problem with
- 46:38Speaker 1: one another basis. But what I'm trying to say, well,
- 46:40Speaker 1: do you have a problem with white people? Uh? No, No, No,
- 46:43Speaker 1: I don't have problem with white people. I'm cool. I'm
- 46:46Speaker 1: just I'm just trying to make sure you know, uh,
- 46:49Speaker 1: I mean, because me and you already have a bit
- 46:51Speaker 1: of a problem already, you know all we do. Yeah, yeah,
- 46:54Speaker 1: we we have a problem. I mean, I'm I'm bothering
- 46:58Speaker 1: me while on that work. What's your problem? Okay? Well
- 47:01Speaker 1: my problem is this is that, you know, after purchasing
- 47:04Speaker 1: the property, I went downtown to the city and actually
- 47:07Speaker 1: looked at, you know, the layout of this entire property.
- 47:11Speaker 1: And when I look at it, you actually twenty five
- 47:14Speaker 1: close to thirty feet over the property line. Well, now
- 47:18Speaker 1: you look at the wrong map. No, no, the fifth
- 47:20Speaker 1: that separates my backyard from your backyard. You are thirty
- 47:24Speaker 1: feet over that. That's impossible, you know. Listen, and I noticed.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Let me let me know. I'm gonna tell you. Look
- 47:30Speaker 1: at you got a jacouzi in your backyard. Right, so
- 47:33Speaker 1: you've been even spine on me. No, I'm inspired on you, sir.
- 47:37Speaker 1: I'm just telling you close to that, not far from
- 47:40Speaker 1: that fish line. Don't. Don't you have a jacouzi there? Well,
- 47:43Speaker 1: as a matter of fact, I do. Yes, okay, So
- 47:45Speaker 1: now the pools, the poolers. Okay, but but if I
- 47:49Speaker 1: if I pushed that fish line back thirty and actually
- 47:51Speaker 1: get the property that I'm supposed to have. But I'm
- 47:54Speaker 1: pretty much own yo yo yo jacouz you' hot to ncy. Okay,
- 47:59Speaker 1: let me say you something. I've been in that house
- 48:01Speaker 1: for ten years. We put that sense up when we
- 48:04Speaker 1: moved in, and it was based on the property line
- 48:07Speaker 1: that was that was the set when ten years ago.
- 48:10Speaker 1: I don't know what you're looking at, but my fence
- 48:13Speaker 1: is not moving, My jacuzi is not moving, and there's
- 48:16Speaker 1: there's no changing that. Okay, Well, let me let me
- 48:20Speaker 1: let me. I'm glad you hear your voice what you
- 48:22Speaker 1: wanted the voice. No, no, no, no, you hear you
- 48:25Speaker 1: hear Old cliff a Dot. Let me tell you so. Uh.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Either we're gonna take the fifth line and move it
- 48:31Speaker 1: where supposed to be. Oh, We're gonna put a gate
- 48:34Speaker 1: between uh two yards, and I'm gonna be able to
- 48:37Speaker 1: come and get in this jakozy and pool whenever I
- 48:40Speaker 1: want to. All right, let's let's let's let's talk about this.
- 48:42Speaker 1: First of all, there's gonna not gonna be a gate, okay.
- 48:46Speaker 1: And as far as you just coming over and getting
- 48:48Speaker 1: into jacuzzi at will, I got a real problem with that, uh,
- 48:52Speaker 1: you've called me at work. I'm on the job and
- 48:55Speaker 1: I'm having to listen to this on a future neighbor
- 48:59Speaker 1: who's making weird claims about how he owns part of
- 49:03Speaker 1: my lamp got back. I hold the jacouzi. So no, no,
- 49:08Speaker 1: you did not pay for that jacouzi. You did not
- 49:11Speaker 1: pay for that tense. You just shot up making. He
- 49:14Speaker 1: pulled me at work, and and and and and then
- 49:17Speaker 1: you hand me some story with no evidence. I don't
- 49:20Speaker 1: go down to the city hall and look at those
- 49:23Speaker 1: papers myself because I don't turt word you're saying. I've
- 49:27Speaker 1: been there for ten years. I've had ten other neighbors
- 49:31Speaker 1: in that backyard. You don't cycle through once a year,
- 49:34Speaker 1: I swear, And I've never had any problems with him
- 49:37Speaker 1: until you come along. This is some okay. Well, I
- 49:40Speaker 1: tell you what, there's something you need to understand. You
- 49:43Speaker 1: got a new black neighbor, and you got a new
- 49:45Speaker 1: black neighbor that owns part owns your jakouzi. Because you're
- 49:48Speaker 1: over the fence line, all right, And as soon as
- 49:50Speaker 1: I move in, I'm coming and I'm getting in my jakouzi,
- 49:54Speaker 1: you would, oh man, you know what I'm mad, no
- 49:58Speaker 1: move into that. I'm going the jacouzi on Monday, we
- 50:01Speaker 1: damn Friday. You don't get it on Twoday, Thursday and
- 50:04Speaker 1: the weekend. That's it because blood is damn Jacouzy belongs
- 50:08Speaker 1: to me. These jacouzie and the whole my black man
- 50:11Speaker 1: and a white man, and we're gonna get along lot
- 50:14Speaker 1: of line. Look here, let listen hear you. Who are
- 50:17Speaker 1: you to dictate what days I get to use my
- 50:20Speaker 1: jacouzi because it's not and I'm going over the mind
- 50:22Speaker 1: and I just you know you were crying. It's I
- 50:24Speaker 1: was jacouzi because you you built it. That's the only
- 50:28Speaker 1: thing that makes it yours. And being on my part
- 50:30Speaker 1: of the property, I was making mine. So therefore we're
- 50:34Speaker 1: gonna share his damn jacouzi and we're gonna try to
- 50:36Speaker 1: get you jacouzie. I'm passing. You're across the fence. I
- 50:41Speaker 1: will be there on Monday's Wednesdays and you ain't gonna
- 50:43Speaker 1: be I'll be standing out my jacouzie with a shotgun.
- 50:47Speaker 1: You take one step over to my property, my joperty line.
- 50:51Speaker 1: I swear as I can jump through this phone, i'd
- 50:53Speaker 1: wring your neck. You know, I who's gonna be in
- 50:55Speaker 1: there with me. Who the gonna be in there? I'm
- 50:57Speaker 1: gonna have cutting house in the damn jacause cutting hem
- 51:03Speaker 1: my co worker. He man, this is nephew. Tell me, man,
- 51:09Speaker 1: you your boy cutting hem? You got me the plank
- 51:12Speaker 1: phone call you this day back to We got you, man,
- 51:20Speaker 1: we got you. I got one more thing to ask you, man,
- 51:24Speaker 1: what is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 51:27Speaker 1: show in the lad the Steve Harvey's radio Church. What man,
- 51:38Speaker 1: lay it alone? We can get alone with man together?
- 51:45Speaker 1: Yeah about this a Monday, Wednesday? What I think Tuesdays
- 51:56Speaker 1: and Thursday siding. That's when you got it. You're gonna
- 51:58Speaker 1: share this thing. We're gonna get a lot for a
- 52:00Speaker 1: white guy. He held his own with cust have work.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Hey man, let me tell you something. A man, he
- 52:10Speaker 1: wasn't having none of this. Here you was talking. He was,
- 52:14Speaker 1: who the hell you think I am? Hardener, This ain't
- 52:19Speaker 1: finnicle like never like you think it is. He told Tommy, listen,
- 52:24Speaker 1: here you black. I was. There was a little tension, Carl.
- 52:35Speaker 1: It was a little ten no no, no no, hey, hey man,
- 52:37Speaker 1: let me tell you something. I wasn't mad at to
- 52:39Speaker 1: do at all. Come up him with that smack man,
- 52:43Speaker 1: do you finn? Do what? No, a black guy and
- 52:47Speaker 1: a white guy on, we're gonna get along. Listen here
- 52:50Speaker 1: you're black. Told him I'm gonna be in ejaccuz but
- 52:55Speaker 1: Nikki when you come on from but Niked you can

- 54:35Speaker 1: Here it is the Strawberry Letter. All right, thank you, nephew.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Subject watch what you say about my wife. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:44Speaker 1: I'm a thirty eight year old married man and I
- 54:46Speaker 1: need your advice on how to handle my wife's ex boyfriend.
- 54:50Speaker 1: We all go to the same church, and we started
- 54:52Speaker 1: having Zoom service for those of us who don't want
- 54:55Speaker 1: to physically go back to church yet. My wife was
- 54:58Speaker 1: having trouble with our internet connection a few weeks ago
- 55:00Speaker 1: and I noticed some of the members laughing. I wasn't
- 55:03Speaker 1: sure if they were laughing at my wife, so I
- 55:06Speaker 1: let it slide. After service, one of the ladies from
- 55:09Speaker 1: the Zoom service called to tell me that my wife's
- 55:11Speaker 1: ex boyfriend sent a group text saying my wife was
- 55:15Speaker 1: never too bright and he wasn't surprised at her dumb
- 55:18Speaker 1: ass couldn't get on zoom. I was furious and I
- 55:23Speaker 1: wanted to talk to him, but the lady asked me
- 55:26Speaker 1: not to. That same week, we had a food drive
- 55:29Speaker 1: at the church, so my wife dropped off two bags
- 55:31Speaker 1: of groceries at the church. She came to see me
- 55:35Speaker 1: at work when she left the church, and she was upset.
- 55:38Speaker 1: She said her ex boyfriend was working at the food
- 55:40Speaker 1: drive and when she walked away from the group, she
- 55:42Speaker 1: overheard him say that he was surprised she donated anything
- 55:46Speaker 1: because she's cheap and selfish, my wife said. She turned
- 55:49Speaker 1: around and said I heard you, and then kept walking
- 55:52Speaker 1: because she didn't want to make a scene. My wife
- 55:55Speaker 1: had a rocky relationship with this guy. They broke up
- 55:59Speaker 1: five years ago after he cheated on her repeatedly. I
- 56:04Speaker 1: have told my wife that going to the same church
- 56:06Speaker 1: with him would be a problem, but she did not
- 56:09Speaker 1: want to leave her church. So I got on the
- 56:11Speaker 1: zoom this past Sunday and said, watch what you say
- 56:14Speaker 1: about my wife. I'm sure everyone knew who I was
- 56:19Speaker 1: talking to. That was a warning shot. He needs to
- 56:22Speaker 1: be very careful from here on out. How should I
- 56:26Speaker 1: handle this guy, Well, I say, you know, you've handled
- 56:31Speaker 1: it quite impressively so far with your warning. That was
- 56:34Speaker 1: your warning shot. You let the group know that you
- 56:38Speaker 1: know what's up and you obviously don't play when it
- 56:41Speaker 1: comes to your wife. Now that was the group warning. Okay,
- 56:44Speaker 1: you can also let her X know by stepping to
- 56:47Speaker 1: him personally. He disrespected your wife period. I mean he's
- 56:52Speaker 1: obviously bitter and not over her and feels some kind
- 56:55Speaker 1: of waste since she brought you to her church and
- 56:58Speaker 1: you guys are happy. Now he's over it. Uh, she can't.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I'm sure he can't stand seeing you guys together, or
- 57:07Speaker 1: or feeling like everyone's talking. Look what you know, he
- 57:10Speaker 1: messed up, Look what he missed. They're all happy now.
- 57:13Speaker 1: Know he wishes he still had that. You know you're
- 57:15Speaker 1: thinking that in your head that people are probably saying that,
- 57:18Speaker 1: So your defense mechanism has kicked in. That's I'm talking
- 57:23Speaker 1: to the guy now, and that's why you're putting her
- 57:25Speaker 1: down and talking about her, you know, in front of everybody,
- 57:28Speaker 1: because you feel some kind of way, you feel stupid
- 57:30Speaker 1: that you let her go. Uh, she didn't want to
- 57:33Speaker 1: change churches. I mean, after all, it's been five years
- 57:36Speaker 1: since you guys broke up and you know you didn't.
- 57:40Speaker 1: You didn't want her anyway. The guy didn't want her
- 57:42Speaker 1: anyway the way he was cheating, obviously, So what's the
- 57:44Speaker 1: big deal. I mean, this guy's a hater. Her ex boyfriend,
- 57:49Speaker 1: who sounds like to me is about to get a
- 57:51Speaker 1: beat down if he doesn't heed your warning. I think
- 57:54Speaker 1: it's as simple as that, Steve Well. I mean, for me,
- 57:58Speaker 1: it's very simple. Um, you know, all of what Shirley
- 58:02Speaker 1: said is true. Um, but look, I'm gonna try to
- 58:06Speaker 1: deal with the letter. I can cut this letter off
- 58:09Speaker 1: so short. For me, this is very simple to me.
- 58:12Speaker 1: I already know what I'm gonna do, so because um,
- 58:15Speaker 1: you know. But but let's for the sake of the
- 58:18Speaker 1: Strawberry letter, let's let's go through some motions here. Ye
- 58:23Speaker 1: act like we're Christians, ye know, since we have to
- 58:26Speaker 1: church service. You know you thirty eight needs some advice
- 58:32Speaker 1: on how to handle my wife's ex boyfriend right there,
- 58:38Speaker 1: handle him, handle his ass. And this high wind y'all
- 58:45Speaker 1: started having zoom service. My wife was having trouble with
- 58:48Speaker 1: our internet connection. I noticed some of the members laughing.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I wasn't sure if they was laughing at my wife,
- 58:54Speaker 1: so you let it slide. Then this lady always some
- 58:58Speaker 1: messy ass churchmen call you and told you that her
- 59:03Speaker 1: ex boyfriend sent a group text said my wife was
- 59:06Speaker 1: never too bright and he wasn't surprised her dumbass couldn't
- 59:10Speaker 1: get on zoom. I was furious and wanted to talk
- 59:14Speaker 1: to him, but the lady asked me not to. We're
- 59:16Speaker 1: too late to ask me not to Where too damn
- 59:21Speaker 1: late to ask me not to talk to her? As
- 59:25Speaker 1: soon as you told me that me and his ass
- 59:29Speaker 1: got some business. Now I got to give you credit
- 59:33Speaker 1: because you did man up, so I ain't mad at you.
- 59:36Speaker 1: The same week, had a food drive at the church,
- 59:39Speaker 1: dropped off two bags of groceries, came to work, said
- 59:43Speaker 1: she was upset and said her ex brod friend was
- 59:45Speaker 1: working at the food drive. She walked away from the group.
- 59:50Speaker 1: She overheard him say that he was surprised she donated
- 59:54Speaker 1: anything because she cheap and selfish. My wife says she
- 59:59Speaker 1: turned around and said I heard you and kept walking
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: because she didn't want to make a scene. That's beautiful.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I think your wife handled it with grace and style
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: as a lady. She didn't won't make a scene. I
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: ain't got Grace's do and at no point in time
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: do I ever have to act like a lady. So
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: come on back and let's talk about the hoodway, Okay,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: get back into this letter. The subject is watch what
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: you say about my wife. We'll get into it right
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: strawberry letter. Watch what you say about my wife. As
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: a subject, they having the church zoom Uh, your man,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: your wife can't get on her ex talks about her
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: in a group text her dumb man s ain't too bright,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: No way, can't get on zoom. A lady from the
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: church text you and told you the reason they was
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: laughing was he sent that group text out. You was FiOS.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Wanted to talk to him, but the lady asked you
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: not to. Okay, like I said before, lady can't ask me.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Nothing too late to ask me. I'm already I'm on
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: the phone now. A matter of fact, I'm probably in
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: the car. So all this is too late. All this,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: don't talk to him too much. Same week here of
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: food drive, your wife dropped off a couple of bags
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: of groceries. He was there. She came to see you
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: at work. She was upset, said her boyfriend was working
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: the foods your ex boyfriend, and she walked away from
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: the group. Shared him say that he was surprised she
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: wrote it anything because she cheap and selfish. Your wife
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: turned around and said I heard you, and then kept
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: walking because she didn't want to make a scene. Not
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: like I said, beautiful of your wife to hamlet, just
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: that one. That's classy, that's a lady like That's how
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: she should have happened. But see now she came to
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: work and she told you she was upset. Nice time
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: for you to do so. See now that you had ever,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: he's asking you to do something. The ex boyfriend is
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: threatening you to do something. Now I know this church,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: but he didn't call my wife a dumbass during a
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: text of a church zoom service. And you're gonna throw
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: out the term dumbass, then you're gonna call my wife
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: cheap and selfish behind her back. Now they broke up
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: five years ago. He cheated on her repeatedly. I've told
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: my wife that going to the same church with him
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: would be a problem, but she didn't want to leave
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: her church. Well, now once again, time for you to
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: show your wife that this is a problem. See, everybody
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: is asking you something. He's asking for something. What you
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: told his wife just gonna be a problem. You told
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: your wife is gonna be a problem. She didn't believe it. Well,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: now you got to you know, men, you got to
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: show him. Everybody keep asking something. So I got on
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: the zoom this past Sunday and said, watch what you
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: say about my wife. This was beautiful. This, my man
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: was beautiful. Congratulations, you stepped up to the plate. You
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: let him and everybody know. Ha ha he he hailed. Giggle,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: giggle my ass. Chuckle chuckle? Who chuck a chuckle? What zoom?
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Got it got? Snicker? Snickle? What whatnow? All right? Watch
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: what you're saying now, I'm sure everybody knew who I
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: was talking to. That was a warning shot. Now I
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: say it's time for more than a warning shot. Now
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: that you fired the warning shot, he needs to be
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: very careful from here on out. How should I handle this?
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Ain't I'm on he on out? See, you got to
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: nip this in the bud. How I handle this? He
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: needs to be very careful from here on out. I'm
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: gonna make show his ass is careful here on out
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: because this requires face to face. Now what you got
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: to say to him is this, and you need probably
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: need to be at the next church donation. Now see
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: that way he posted, so he on zoom. See you
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: can't handle this quietly. See sometimes you got to go public.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: See people are like to do stuff public. You know
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: this this one. You know, everything got to happen after church.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: So now let's go over what got to happen. Say, man, hey,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: you the one sending out group texts talking about my wife. Dumb?
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: How dumb this ship? So let me get this right,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: because your punk ass can't get over your pass, because
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: your ridiculous ass can't move on. See what you've realized
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: right now is definest woman in the world is your
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: ex on the arms of another man. That's what you
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: didn't realize. And now and now that you can, definest
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: woman in the world happens to be your ex on
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: the arms of another man. This happens to be my wife.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: Now what was your girlfriend is five years gone. We
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: had a whole another level. Now we didn't level this
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: thing up. This is my wife. This ain't my girlfriend.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: This is my wife. We want. So when you say
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: somebody dumb, you're talking about us. You say somebody cheap,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: you're talking about us. Now, what I'm going to do
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: on Zoom is whoop your ass at the church. I'm
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: gonna talk to you at the church. You're gonna get
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: your ass be at the church. And then and if
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: you ever ever open your mouth about my wife ever again,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna increase the ask. Right now, I'm just finished slapping.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Now I'm slapping. I'm just gonna tell everybody on the
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Zoom I'm slapping fat, slap his ass. Fap, just one slap.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: But he better not block it. If he tried to
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: block it, come back with the back hand. fIF fop.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Don't put your podcast hand up and block it. Take
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: it like a man. Naw. We can continue this conversation
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: in the pastor's study week or so. We can go
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: on up there in the past and I can just
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: be sitting there like this here, brother Harvey. Yeah. So
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: when we come back, we come back, we're gonna have
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: a brief reenactment. Jay Anthony Brown is gonna be the
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: past and he's gonna questioned me about the incident. When
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: we come back, I'm gonna show you how to handle
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: this at the end the pastor's office. After that, you're listen,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: all right, Steve. This is part three of today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: A subject watch what you say about my wife. We're
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: in the pastor's office. Now. Now here's what happened. A
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: man wife got an ex boyfriend and go to the
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: same church. They was on a zoom. The zoom didn't work.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: He sent a group tex out hood dell mans, ain't
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: that brighten? Noway, everybody giggling. Lady told her husband he
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: sent this group tex out. Then when she went to
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: make donation with the bag, he said, I'm surprised she
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: made anything. She cheap as hell. She said, I heard you,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: but was upset when and told her husband. Now this
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: is where we at oudn't told him the way to
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: rectify it. This is he got to put his ass
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: on blasts in front of the church. Now, I recommend
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: slapping him. It works. You ain't got to get in
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: the full fledge fighting, but he do need to get
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: his ass slapp because this is my wife. This was
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: your girlfriend five years ago, but this my wife. Now,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: we didn't leveled up. Don't nobody talk about my wife
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: the way you did. You was disrespectful. Now I'm gonna
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: give you a chance to publicly apologize to her on zoom,
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: to my wife's sister or you know, Nadine or whatever
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: her name, and I'm gonna let you apologize. If you
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: don't publicly apologize, I'm gonna slap all the flavor out
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: your out. And then but after you apologize, I'm slapping
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: your ass anyway, sapp Just don't don't try to block
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: it because your punk ass do so. Now I know
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: this is gonna end up at the pastor's office. So
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: now if you're going to the pastor's office and the
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: pastor's asking you go in there with the intensity of it.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: We are now in the pastor's office and this is
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: the pastor talking to me, and go ahead, pass um sir,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: could you step out? I like to talk to just
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: to mister Harden. Can you step out, step out, step out,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: you go out, the boy, get your ass out, Get
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: your ass out. Would you like some of these communion
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: waifs out here? I don't need no way for dog.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Just give me a bigger coup that one give me
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: about five of them cups there there you go. Okay,
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: thank you. I totally when I said totally, I totally
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: agree with what you did. I knew you would. I knew. Yeah,

- 1:09:24Speaker 1: so with you that you don't have to put money
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: into plate for the next three sons. Cool, my dude,

- 1:09:33Speaker 1: closing dogcass out man, you don't come in here. It's
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: great pass passing, pat passing because I go out here.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: You one more time, man, just in the hardway. Just
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: slap his dead. Okay, I'm gonna act like I don't
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: want you going out dad. Dap me up, dap me up. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: we got grab you. I'm gonna grab you like you

- 1:17:04Speaker 1: year old Bronnie, went viral after sharing a video of
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: himself smoking No one really knows what he was allegedly
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: SnO smoking but Bronnie immediately took the post down, but
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: not before people captured it and spread it all over
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: social media, all over social media. Daddy hand that. Yeah,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: just let your daddy handle that. Okay, who can't ain't
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: held that? Yeah, you know anybody. People were going in
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: on Bronnie saying, you know, you can't let your dad
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: down like that. Yeah, I mean you know, but we
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: didn't take a yeah, and we didn't have social media,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: remember that when we were right yea, all right, I'm
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: talking about the float was saying it's one thing to
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: do it, but there's another thing. Last on a mind
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: and letting me down too. Can you go sit your
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: ass down somewhere? It was going. But you know, it
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: is tough when you have famous parents because you get
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: a piece of scrutiny that some people don't and you
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: have to be conscious of your place. And people are
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: writing saying, hey, you need to you need to watch it. Man,
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: you're putting because you're famous. You know what you do,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: and your fame is usually because of your parents. That's famous.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Lebron James Junior is famous because of Lebron James singer. Yes,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: please understand that he would just be another kid, and
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: you know, so you know I ain't. I ain't mad
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: at either one of them. You know you can't, Lebron
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: still a great parent. You can be the best parent
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: in the world, and your kids are going to do
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: something that's counter to everything you've ever talked them. Oh lord,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: you can be the best parent in the world, man,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: and do nothing to deserve some of the actions of
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: your children, because they're going to make decisions. And then
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: the sad part about their decisions. Now it's all attached
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: to a post on what these stories is I learned.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: I learned more about my kids on stories than I
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: do talking to the real But that's what social media does.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Though it separates us, makes everybody alone. It goes total
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: you're not a parent. A kid goes total opposite of
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: what you sit down and tell the heads. I saw
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: you talk, how much you write it up, how much
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: you put it on a blackboard, they will do the
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: total opposite of what you tell them. All right, coming up,

- 1:22:11Speaker 1: him mister Perry for a long time, never stopped coming. Hey, y'all, listen,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: Uh we are. We're in a critical moment here in
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: our history, in our country. I want to remind you
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: all of something. We built this country, this country, the
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: United States of amercle was built on the backs of slaves.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Make no mistake about it. Now. Even though we were
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: bought here against our will, and even though we've been
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: treated unfairly for hundreds of years, we still built this country.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: But what we have got to stop doing is allowing
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: them to make us think like this is not hours.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: And I'm just saying, look, I understand we've been mistreated, oppressed,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: red lined with hell rights, police brutality, hiring practices, denied
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: educational opportunities. I got it in spite of all of that,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: we have forged our way forward anyway, and we have
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: become an intricol, thread and fiber of this country. Like
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: I said, we built this. This country was built on
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: our backs. A lot of large companies that you see
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: today would not even exist. The richest that America has
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: is because they had four hundred years of free labor.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: I want you all to understand this. This is a fact.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: This isn't an anti white statement in any way. So
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: before you get on Twitter and go running there with it,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: that's not what I'm saying. I am saying this to
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: employ or black people to understand that we have got
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: to participate in this process to bring about a change.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: This November. We need some things to change. I knew
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: we were in the world of trouble when the slogan
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: was make America great Again. I went, when was America
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: ever great for us as black people? So I knew
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: with those red hats and that statement that it wasn't
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: going to include us. And he's proven that to be true.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: His base is not black people. Trump's base has nothing
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: to do with you. What part of this are you
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: not getting now? I understand politics is not what we'd
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: hoped it to be, but it is the system we have.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: America in all of its riches and power is because
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: of us. Let me break it down even further. Let's
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: get real simple here. Swag is provided by us, music
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: is provided by us. What's cool is determined by US.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: Entertainment we are huge part of it. Athletics, we are
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: huge part of it. We are part of the things
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: that America's game football, the biggest spectator sport in this country.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: We're part of all of this. We are part of
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: these corporations that grow. We are part of every piece
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: of America. Don't nobody care what the latest dance is,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: as simple as that unless they get it from New York, LA.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Don't nobody care nothing about hip hop Until we created
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: nobody cares about. We determined what hairstyles is hot, how
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: to wear your clothes is hot. We determine all this
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: stuff that's hot. When are we gonna get the message
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: through our head that we can determine who's in the
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: White House, who's in the Senate, who's in the Congress.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: We can determine all of that too. If you are
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: powerful enough to move their kids to action, you will
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: be powerful enough to move them to vote and change
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: the way we are treated. We are that powerful other people.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: But we got to vote. If we want to really
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: show that black lives matter, we have to matter at
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: the polls period. We can make a change so we
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: can elevate what we determine as cool as swag as
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: who's help, who's hot, who's current, how to dress, how
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: to dance. We could take all that to the White House.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: We could determine policy by who gets in there. We
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: can start electing people who care about us. We've got
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: to vote. This is the most important election of our lifetime.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: I thought Obamba was important, but man, if we don't
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: make a change of what's happening in Washington, DC right now,
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: we're gonna be in a world of trouble. We in trouble, y'all.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: We got to vote. Black people, Brown people have to
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: vote for all. Steve Harvey contests no purchase necessary, void
