Anderson Miller was a highly touted prospect out of Western Kentucky University. So much that the Kansas City Royals took him in the 3rd round of the 2015 MLB Draft. Miller got to Triple-A in 2021 and decided to elect for free agency after that. It was a tough market and he found himself playing independent ball. On top of that, he had just become a dad, was trying to finish his degree, and working at Costco to make ends meet to make sure his family had everything they needed.
