- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you haven't got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out. Then turn the water the water go. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your thing, I said, Oh, I show Will,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on
- 2:10Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got the
- 2:13Speaker 1: radio show. I feel it's necessary to explain what I
- 2:16Speaker 1: say in the morning because somebody asked me, what do
- 2:18Speaker 1: you mean by that when you say that in the morning.
- 2:22Speaker 1: When I say huh, it's in response to David Hollister
- 2:27Speaker 1: opening the song by saying, go ahead, big Daddy, go ahead.
- 2:31Speaker 1: I said, uh, huh, I show Will. Then I say
- 2:34Speaker 1: good morning everybody. Because I was raised at Ray, you're
- 2:37Speaker 1: supposed to speak when you come in the room. I'm
- 2:40Speaker 1: coming in y'all's room, whether it's your bad room, the
- 2:43Speaker 1: room in your house, your car, your office, you know,
- 2:47Speaker 1: wherever you had I come in the room or God speaks.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I say, good morning, everybody. You are listening to the voice.
- 2:54Speaker 1: And then I got to introduce myself because as a performer,
- 2:58Speaker 1: I always felt my best when I was introduced. It's knowing.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Why would you walk out on stage anybody introduce you.
- 3:04Speaker 1: You know you can't get the round of applause. It's
- 3:06Speaker 1: just it's horrible. So I say, you are listening to
- 3:09Speaker 1: the voice want and only Steve Harvey. Come on, dig
- 3:14Speaker 1: me now. Now that's old school. I got that, but
- 3:16Speaker 1: that's I was once again, dig me Now, is I
- 3:20Speaker 1: want you to feel what I'm about to say. That's
- 3:23Speaker 1: all I'm saying. That's not a bragging thing. You know,
- 3:27Speaker 1: you're listening to the voice wanting only Steve Harvey. Come on,
- 3:31Speaker 1: dig me now. I'm just asking you to feel what
- 3:34Speaker 1: I'm saying in the morning because it's part of a
- 3:36Speaker 1: promise that I made to God. See a long time ago,
- 3:40Speaker 1: I told God, if he allowed me to make it,
- 3:43Speaker 1: that when I got there, I would tell everybody I
- 3:46Speaker 1: know how I did it, and I wasn't gonna shortcut
- 3:49Speaker 1: it or shade him on it. I said, if you
- 3:52Speaker 1: allow me to make it, if you give me the strength,
- 3:55Speaker 1: the courage, the wisdom you gave me a gift if
- 3:59Speaker 1: you let me apply it, don't destroy myself in the process.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Forgive me for my sins along the way, continue to
- 4:07Speaker 1: hold and rock me when I need it. When I
- 4:10Speaker 1: make it, I promise you Lord, when I get there,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I will tell everybody how I made it. Well. This
- 4:19Speaker 1: started back in LA when I got on the radio
- 4:23Speaker 1: and I was making it okay. I was doing okay,
- 4:27Speaker 1: but I had to keep my promise to God. My
- 4:30Speaker 1: promise was, if you allow me to make it, I'll
- 4:33Speaker 1: tell everybody how God there. I have to tell you
- 4:38Speaker 1: that every day because if it was not for that
- 4:42Speaker 1: grace and mercy, I wouldn't even be here able to
- 4:45Speaker 1: fulfill my promise, because I've done enough dirt in my life.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Man to not be worthy. He could have easily walked
- 4:53Speaker 1: away from me a long time ago because I had
- 4:56Speaker 1: show walked away from him. See, and I didn't walk
- 5:00Speaker 1: away from him once. I walked away from him a
- 5:02Speaker 1: bunch of times. But guess what He forgave me a
- 5:07Speaker 1: bunch of times. I'm a living example of hundreds of chances.
- 5:14Speaker 1: His forgiveness and his mercy is available for everybody. It's
- 5:19Speaker 1: The only reason I get on this show every day,
- 5:22Speaker 1: the only reason I have the blessings that's coming my way.
- 5:25Speaker 1: It's the only way that the things that keep happening
- 5:28Speaker 1: in my life, Man, that I have no explanation for,
- 5:32Speaker 1: it is because of His grace and mercy. See, anytime
- 5:36Speaker 1: something good happens in my life and I can't explain it,
- 5:40Speaker 1: that's usually him, he exhibits to me. Remember, I'm a
- 5:45Speaker 1: forgiving god. Man. Remember, So when you fall, Steve, don't
- 5:49Speaker 1: lay down now, don't you lay down there. Don't you
- 5:52Speaker 1: let the devil fool you that because you'd have made
- 5:55Speaker 1: some mistakes that you ain't that you can't do it
- 5:58Speaker 1: because everybody gonna make. There's none perfect, no, not one.
- 6:01Speaker 1: So get up, keep moving, keep pushing, step on what
- 6:07Speaker 1: you're laying there for. Your daddy didn't raise you that way. Look, man,
- 6:12Speaker 1: my father was just about manhood. I'm gonna just tell you.
- 6:15Speaker 1: My daddy never had a conversation with me about church.
- 6:18Speaker 1: He beat me for not going, but you know a
- 6:21Speaker 1: couple of times, but he wasn't about that wasn't his message.
- 6:24Speaker 1: That was my mama's job. My mama taught me about
- 6:27Speaker 1: being saved, about loving the Lord, about giving your life,
- 6:31Speaker 1: about the teachings of Jesus Christ. My mama was a
- 6:34Speaker 1: Sunday school teacher, so I got all of that from her.
- 6:37Speaker 1: My old man ain't had none of that for me.
- 6:39Speaker 1: My old man talked to me about one thing all
- 6:41Speaker 1: day long, hard working manhood. And when you're gonna get
- 6:44Speaker 1: that if you don't get nothing else from me, he
- 6:47Speaker 1: gave that to me, so I got it. See, so,
- 6:50Speaker 1: my father, you say, excuse my language, but you ain't
- 6:52Speaker 1: gonna sit there like no little punk up in here.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You ain't an what you're finding to do. You fin
- 6:56Speaker 1: to get up and go do what you posted to do. Now,
- 6:59Speaker 1: stop all that wine like some little punking gonna get
- 7:01Speaker 1: to move it. That's how my father talked to me. Now,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I'm just telling you real. It worked for me, though,
- 7:06Speaker 1: And before you start emailing me. They had nothing to
- 7:08Speaker 1: do with homosexuality at all. It's just that was his
- 7:12Speaker 1: turn for a man not acting like a man. That's
- 7:16Speaker 1: all it was. It had. It was not a gay
- 7:18Speaker 1: reference at all. I want you to understand that before
- 7:20Speaker 1: you start emailing me. So my daddy wasn't calling. That
- 7:23Speaker 1: wasn't not a sexual reference for him. My father talked
- 7:26Speaker 1: to us. That's what he meant. I knew exactly what
- 7:28Speaker 1: he meant. He couldn't admit, No, he didn't even know
- 7:29Speaker 1: nothing about that. My man clueless when it comes to
- 7:32Speaker 1: that right there. So when I was getting down and
- 7:36Speaker 1: feeling bad about myself, my old man, he taught me
- 7:39Speaker 1: this toughness. Man. He gave me this grit, this doggedness,
- 7:43Speaker 1: this go to work and work hard. That's why today,
- 7:45Speaker 1: when God does bless me with something, he ain't got
- 7:49Speaker 1: to wear about me not working hard because that's in me.
- 7:54Speaker 1: And when I get tired, I asked that same God
- 7:57Speaker 1: for strength to keep on doing so I can do
- 8:00Speaker 1: the blessings he got for me. So when you ask
- 8:03Speaker 1: me how you gonna do all this, Steve Harvey, I
- 8:05Speaker 1: don't know. I ain't got to figure that out. All
- 8:09Speaker 1: I got to do is show up with the same
- 8:11Speaker 1: amount of faith for being showing up with God handle
- 8:13Speaker 1: the rest of it. See y'all, hey le, let me
- 8:16Speaker 1: tell yourself. I don't see how you do it. I
- 8:18Speaker 1: don't either, can I can I get hey man, news flash?
- 8:22Speaker 1: Let me hear I don't see how you doing all that, Steve.
- 8:25Speaker 1: You're doing this you doing that, you can I tell
- 8:27Speaker 1: you something I don't either. I just wake up with
- 8:30Speaker 1: the faith man and trusting that if He gonna bless
- 8:33Speaker 1: me with it, he must be gonna show me a
- 8:34Speaker 1: way how to get it done. See I ain't tripping
- 8:37Speaker 1: on that part. See I. Once you take yourself out
- 8:40Speaker 1: to how to business, you can go on and get
- 8:43Speaker 1: with it. But see if you're gonna trip yourself out
- 8:46Speaker 1: with the how to, you can't think like God can think.
- 8:48Speaker 1: You can't figure like God can figure. So now you're
- 8:51Speaker 1: sitting up in here gonna Lord, I want this to
- 8:53Speaker 1: have him for me? Then I don't know how I'm
- 8:55Speaker 1: will do all that. Well, guess what You in the way? Now?
- 8:59Speaker 1: See you? Now you in the way, because see God
- 9:02Speaker 1: ain't ask you to figure out how to? He said,
- 9:04Speaker 1: ask and believe. Then he said faith without works is dead.
- 9:11Speaker 1: That's my solution. That's the concoction that I'm functioning on.
- 9:15Speaker 1: All I got to do is accept the blessing, keep
- 9:19Speaker 1: the faith, be willing to work and believe God can
- 9:23Speaker 1: do anything but fail. Why would God bring me this
- 9:27Speaker 1: far to leave me? Why would he bring you this
- 9:31Speaker 1: far to leave you? So? Why I get up every
- 9:36Speaker 1: morning I have no choice. I got to get up
- 9:40Speaker 1: in here the rap. When I'm running late, man, I
- 9:42Speaker 1: try to ply through here. Sometimes I don't make it. Man,
- 9:44Speaker 1: I gotta do a rerun. But I ply through here
- 9:47Speaker 1: because man, Steve, you're gonna run out of something to say. No,
- 9:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna just keep thanking him now. You can't run
- 9:51Speaker 1: out of that canyon because you owe him that. A
- 9:54Speaker 1: matter of fact, when I get through talking, I really
- 9:56Speaker 1: ain't thanked him enough. Sta ladies and gentlemen, welcome again
- 10:06Speaker 1: to one of the greatest gifts of life. What is that, Steve? Time?
- 10:13Speaker 1: You have two great gifts in life, y'all, and just
- 10:15Speaker 1: want to remind you of that time and health. Both
- 10:18Speaker 1: of those are your two greatest gifts. If you can
- 10:22Speaker 1: hear me, you have both of those. You have a
- 10:25Speaker 1: measure of health and you have time. So congratulations and
- 10:29Speaker 1: welcome to twenty twenty two. Let church say, man a
- 10:34Speaker 1: man a man, Shirley Strawberry Colin for real, that girl
- 10:39Speaker 1: out of Mississippi, Monica Junior, better than owners kills faith
- 10:44Speaker 1: and the legend that is was and always will be.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Bitter Man. Watch out there now, Jay Anthony and Brown Junior.
- 10:54Speaker 1: What you got, man. You know, Uncle had a conference.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Let me ask yourself much. You know. I had a
- 10:58Speaker 1: conversation this weekend, man, and we talked about trusted friends
- 11:02Speaker 1: and uncle. If you could commit a crime with anybody
- 11:05Speaker 1: on this morning show, who would you do it with?
- 11:08Speaker 1: And who would you not do it with? And why?
- 11:11Speaker 1: Janathan and Brown? I would do it with Janathan and
- 11:13Speaker 1: Brown because we've been in more ride and die situations
- 11:16Speaker 1: that all y'all put together. Were playing codes and systems
- 11:20Speaker 1: back in the day. We knew each other before. That
- 11:23Speaker 1: was phone cameras. We was friends for. That was sale phones.
- 11:28Speaker 1: We was leaving messages on answering machines with codes and
- 11:32Speaker 1: all like that. I've come to his rescue and he's
- 11:36Speaker 1: come to my rescue. That is who I would ride
- 11:40Speaker 1: or die with? Now? Who would I not do a
- 11:42Speaker 1: damn thing with? Riley Strawbilly? She too damn honest, She
- 11:48Speaker 1: too damn honest. She'll admit she's a crack opening in
- 11:52Speaker 1: interrogation room and she's gonna tell a damn truth. What
- 11:56Speaker 1: in the world do you need a person for sitting
- 12:00Speaker 1: with you in a little ride or die situation but
- 12:05Speaker 1: not willing to lie you as heard of that sitting
- 12:09Speaker 1: up in here, and then she bushy you know. And
- 12:13Speaker 1: wait a minute, Steve being correcting me in front of
- 12:15Speaker 1: the FED officers, and yeah, you know, you know, you know,
- 12:23Speaker 1: if I'm gonna do something wrong, I'm gonna bigger go home.
- 12:26Speaker 1: No local crew for the jaywalk. E've gonna get into
- 12:30Speaker 1: some brazilment or something at Shirley Strawberry is not the
- 12:34Speaker 1: person I'm doing any damn presence. If I had to
- 12:39Speaker 1: pick anybody outside of jay Caller, who would ask for
- 12:44Speaker 1: real ride die? She gonna lie, she a bustle, wonder
- 12:50Speaker 1: out she has split the time. I needed somebody that
- 12:53Speaker 1: go forward just right, yes, and then allegedly I need
- 13:01Speaker 1: a person that you words like, got no proof. I know,
- 13:04Speaker 1: I need somebody that to kill you about the baby.
- 13:07Speaker 1: You don't have written people down at the cheerleading squad
- 13:12Speaker 1: the school now, Monica, If you do so, Monica, it's
- 13:18Speaker 1: gonna be on Instagram. So you want to glad you
- 13:27Speaker 1: cleared that up, Steve, I had no doubt coming up
- 13:30Speaker 1: at thirty two minutes after the hour's right here in
- 13:36Speaker 1: the middle of the crime, the pal are coming up
- 13:40Speaker 1: with church complaints. Special guest Pastor Reverend Adnoid right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, it
- 13:49Speaker 1: is time for church complaints with Reverend Motown and special guest.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Reverend Adnoid is with us this morning. Yeah, uh, def
- 14:04Speaker 1: Jam is not here today. So the main that introduced
- 14:12Speaker 1: me to the ministry, the main who was with me
- 14:18Speaker 1: before Iva one of us was even considered diminished, my
- 14:26Speaker 1: older brother from the same mother. We grolled it up
- 14:31Speaker 1: in the church. We went to healing school together, we
- 14:37Speaker 1: went to we took all the courses to be a pastor.
- 14:40Speaker 1: We took collection plate, conversation ladies and gentlemen. My old brother,
- 14:47Speaker 1: Reverend ad Noid th Reverend add Noid don't have on
- 14:53Speaker 1: a mask, y'all. That's just it's a breathing agician. The
- 14:58Speaker 1: last person covid. Yeah, it has to be off. If
- 15:02Speaker 1: I put it on, I'm I'm done. I'm completing it
- 15:06Speaker 1: done anyway. These are chicken users, the women who look
- 15:12Speaker 1: real fine, way way way off. But when you get
- 15:16Speaker 1: close up on them day that damn fine. Will meeting
- 15:20Speaker 1: meeting room seven right after Chi we are gonna have
- 15:28Speaker 1: this meeting in that and I've been stalled real view
- 15:33Speaker 1: mirrors all over the meeting room. Because these objects are
- 15:43Speaker 1: closer than they appears, don't matter what will help us
- 15:47Speaker 1: with that. So I've been stalled those mirrors all over
- 15:51Speaker 1: the room for those of us that have to go
- 15:53Speaker 1: through that and make contributions of any kind. Ahead, when
- 15:57Speaker 1: you walk up on them, you'll know before you before
- 16:00Speaker 1: you walk up, you know what I'm saying. I understand babies,
- 16:05Speaker 1: babies with fat ass knees will be gathering in room
- 16:11Speaker 1: room unusually, fat knees, unusually fat kneeds will be meeting
- 16:17Speaker 1: room nine. So bring you babies. We don't use the
- 16:21Speaker 1: fat knees down there for the minds of the blessing.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Go ready, here, say what we've done in this room. Here,
- 16:28Speaker 1: We've installed rastling match so they will just do all
- 16:35Speaker 1: the crawling they walk without bruising. We've done that for
- 16:40Speaker 1: the babies. These rules are just so special. God bless
- 16:44Speaker 1: the baby for sure. Babies with exceptionally fat ass knees
- 16:50Speaker 1: and or that same rule will use as a prayer
- 16:53Speaker 1: rule for old women who have fat ass knees and
- 16:58Speaker 1: ankles the same room as for old women badass kneed Yes,
- 17:11Speaker 1: all right, the cock that ministry is doing very well,
- 17:16Speaker 1: and to and to serve the problem. We've decided to
- 17:20Speaker 1: have it in two rooms, so you can go to
- 17:23Speaker 1: the left or to the right, because they were getting
- 17:26Speaker 1: confused with the one room, so we didn't either go
- 17:29Speaker 1: to the left or to the right. Also in this room,
- 17:36Speaker 1: or we even stalled, oh, two way mirrors, a lot
- 17:43Speaker 1: of mirrors. Well even if even if one of your
- 17:48Speaker 1: eyes is looking at the wall, you'll still be looking
- 17:53Speaker 1: back at somebody. Yes, yes we would. Brother Wally is
- 17:58Speaker 1: the head of the Cock ministry, Brother Wallyye, And he
- 18:03Speaker 1: got that nickname because all the kids used to say
- 18:07Speaker 1: we called it wall Eye because one of his eyes
- 18:09Speaker 1: is always looking at the way face. Brother Walleye. That
- 18:16Speaker 1: was a nickname. His name is Wallace, but they called
- 18:20Speaker 1: it brother Wayee. Go ahead, go ahead. The church has
- 18:25Speaker 1: installed a hen Pick Men's room for men who want
- 18:29Speaker 1: to go in that room, solid sound and custy wives
- 18:33Speaker 1: out and not be threatened. Doesn't be No one don't
- 18:37Speaker 1: know you in there and the hen Pick Men's room.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Look right ahead, right ahead. What I've done is to
- 18:47Speaker 1: control the people in this group, so I like to
- 18:52Speaker 1: have stuff on people. No one knows this, but I've
- 18:56Speaker 1: installed audio and video EQ whipment open the corners. So
- 19:03Speaker 1: why are you in there cursing her out? If I
- 19:05Speaker 1: need you to perform a duty at the church and
- 19:08Speaker 1: you refuse, I play the tape bath for you. I
- 19:16Speaker 1: bet you will be on parking lot ministry this weekend. Now,
- 19:21Speaker 1: I want to have no trouble at your ass at all.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Excuse me behind behind ball behind church members who swept
- 19:30Speaker 1: way to damn much of the ass to slide down
- 19:35Speaker 1: to the end of the queue. I mean, it's just
- 19:40Speaker 1: it's it's ridiculous the sweat that they kneal up, and
- 19:45Speaker 1: so the church is asking that they could flete slide
- 19:49Speaker 1: down to the end of the queue with all that sweating.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Go right ahead, s and all y'all's big heavy sweaty
- 19:56Speaker 1: asses have been loved to the eleven thirty SURVI because
- 20:01Speaker 1: we need you. What we cannot do is stop up
- 20:06Speaker 1: and mop up this place after they're all sweat to
- 20:11Speaker 1: ask people to the eleven and you can't come to
- 20:17Speaker 1: the eleven thirty service to a quarter to one? Are
- 20:22Speaker 1: we clear sweat to ask in here? We're all forty five?
- 20:28Speaker 1: Thank you for church announcements this morning. Reverend Motown Reverend
- 20:35Speaker 1: hanois coming up at the top of the hour your
- 20:38Speaker 1: chance to win a twenty five hundred dollars gift card
- 20:41Speaker 1: will tell you all about it and also coming up
- 20:46Speaker 1: the CLO asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 20:49Speaker 1: in the building. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 20:53Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, it is time now
- 20:56Speaker 1: for ask the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Ever in
- 21:00Speaker 1: the building ready for your love questions. This one is
- 21:04Speaker 1: from Deja and New York. Deja Rights. I'm in love
- 21:07Speaker 1: with my sister's husband, and he knows it, and he's
- 21:10Speaker 1: making it harder for me to resist him. He invited
- 21:13Speaker 1: me to hang out with him and his friends, and
- 21:16Speaker 1: my sister encouraged me to go so I can possibly
- 21:19Speaker 1: meet a good man. She doesn't know that I've got
- 21:22Speaker 1: my sights and a good man already. Should I go
- 21:24Speaker 1: out with my brother in law and see what happens?
- 21:27Speaker 1: Or should I tell my sister what's up? What? Wait
- 21:32Speaker 1: a minute, man, how about how about neither is neither option?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Because both of the options you got is trifling. Because
- 21:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you why you got your eyes set
- 21:47Speaker 1: on him? You like him, and he's making it hard
- 21:51Speaker 1: for you because you attracted to him. Now, so should
- 21:55Speaker 1: you go out with him and see what's happening? Or
- 21:57Speaker 1: should you tell your sister? I don't even understand what
- 22:02Speaker 1: the what the turmoil is, so you're gonna go tell
- 22:06Speaker 1: your sister? What? Look? Oh girl, I just can't deal
- 22:11Speaker 1: with this no more. I've been looking at your husband,
- 22:13Speaker 1: and girl, he just who I was. I was fitting
- 22:17Speaker 1: to go out with him just to see what was up,
- 22:19Speaker 1: you know, see if we hit it off and everything,
- 22:21Speaker 1: you know, and I was gonna see what it was like,
- 22:23Speaker 1: and then I was gonna tell you then. But I'm
- 22:25Speaker 1: just gonna tell you now because see you that don't
- 22:29Speaker 1: make no damn sense. See you trifling? Yes, really right?
- 22:34Speaker 1: You know? But you know, like like you have options here.
- 22:37Speaker 1: This is your sister, So I don't know what to
- 22:41Speaker 1: sell to tell you. Need to deal with the fact
- 22:43Speaker 1: that you trifling. You need to go in prayer and
- 22:47Speaker 1: have untriflingness taken off of you. At what asked the
- 22:53Speaker 1: Lord to remove you? To untrifling you? Ask Lord to
- 22:58Speaker 1: release this demon of trifling. This whatever this is, I
- 23:05Speaker 1: ain't I ain't never done nothing to my brother man
- 23:07Speaker 1: I hain't not my brother. I ain't oh my brother
- 23:10Speaker 1: or my sister. You can't. You can't come to me
- 23:12Speaker 1: and tell me none about my sister. You say something
- 23:14Speaker 1: about my two sisters? You got what? I won't kill you, lady?
- 23:20Speaker 1: Come on? What'sn't this all right? Uh? Police and mobile
- 23:24Speaker 1: says I'm divorcing my husband of eleven years because he
- 23:28Speaker 1: cheated on me. I cheated too, but he doesn't know it.
- 23:32Speaker 1: The guy I was sneaking around with made a few
- 23:35Speaker 1: videos of us having sex in the car. His girlfriend
- 23:38Speaker 1: found the videos on his phone, and she's trying to
- 23:41Speaker 1: get to my soon to be ex husband to tell
- 23:43Speaker 1: him I cheated on him. This will affect my spousal support.
- 23:47Speaker 1: What do I do about her? Asking me? Come on?
- 23:57Speaker 1: You ask kidding me to be involved in a potential felity.
- 24:04Speaker 1: What do you mean? What should I do about her?
- 24:09Speaker 1: What you mean? What should I do about her? Whatever?
- 24:13Speaker 1: What are you looking for? Options? Suggestions? What you're looking for?
- 24:18Speaker 1: You're looking for a way to do it. I can't
- 24:21Speaker 1: help you here. I can't help you here. You're divorcing
- 24:25Speaker 1: your husband because he cheated on you, But you cheated
- 24:28Speaker 1: on him too. It's just he don't know it, but
- 24:31Speaker 1: he about to know it though, so look and if
- 24:34Speaker 1: he found out, it's going to affect your spouse and support.
- 24:37Speaker 1: It's nothing you can do to this woman because hell
- 24:42Speaker 1: have no fury like a woman scorn. So now you
- 24:47Speaker 1: don't think she mad too? You think that she's feen
- 24:50Speaker 1: to let you go skip to the loo, all the
- 24:52Speaker 1: way to the bank. You think she's been to do that.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. You didn't let your husband get
- 24:58Speaker 1: away with cheating on you. You cheating on him too.
- 25:01Speaker 1: So whatever happened to you Finn happen. But don't you
- 25:03Speaker 1: do nothing to that lady though, And don't you say
- 25:06Speaker 1: for one minute. Steve Harvey suggested, I'm telling you right
- 25:10Speaker 1: now you got to eat this one. Eat it the
- 25:14Speaker 1: whole HOGI is yours. That's your sandwich. That's your sandwich.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Enjoy all right. Caleb in Oklahoma says, I'm a twenty
- 25:26Speaker 1: six year old married man studying to become a pastor
- 25:30Speaker 1: because my dad wants me to follow in his footsteps.
- 25:33Speaker 1: My wife and I had a swingers encounter on New
- 25:37Speaker 1: Year's Eve, and I'm worried my dad will find out
- 25:41Speaker 1: my wife and I enjoyed the experience and we're hoping
- 25:43Speaker 1: to do it again soon. Do I tell my dad
- 25:46Speaker 1: before rumors start? Let me help you out with us something.
- 25:51Speaker 1: So let let me tell you something right here. You
- 25:54Speaker 1: hain't really headed down the pastoral. You need quit telling
- 26:00Speaker 1: people y'all enjoyed it and thinking about doing again. Not
- 26:05Speaker 1: only boy boy and you twenty six. You need to
- 26:10Speaker 1: go get a few more things out your system. Also,
- 26:14Speaker 1: you're going to study to be a minister because that's
- 26:17Speaker 1: what your father wants you to do. I'm old school.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I don't think you should do that unless you've been
- 26:23Speaker 1: called and sounding me like the swingers club is calling
- 26:27Speaker 1: you more than the ministry is right now, and do
- 26:31Speaker 1: they have your sale number? So dog, listen to me.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Do I tell my father before he find out? Wait
- 26:40Speaker 1: a minute, man, how would your father find out that
- 26:44Speaker 1: you and your wife was at a swingers club unless
- 26:48Speaker 1: y'all were swinging with some more people at the same church.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Because who would go up to your father and go,
- 26:57Speaker 1: you know, Earl Junior, pastor Earl Earl Junior was down
- 27:05Speaker 1: that and swinging clubs. I don't understand how your father
- 27:09Speaker 1: would find out. Well, never it could get out, you know,
- 27:16Speaker 1: get out, okay, But what you're gonna tell your daddy
- 27:19Speaker 1: for you got a bigger problem with God? What you're
- 27:26Speaker 1: worrying about your daddy for you got a bigger problem
- 27:29Speaker 1: with the Lord. But you don't need to go down
- 27:30Speaker 1: to the to the ministry school right now. You ain't ready. Man,
- 27:34Speaker 1: You and your wife going to work that thing out,
- 27:36Speaker 1: y'all doing? Y'all got gonna get that out of your system,
- 27:40Speaker 1: all right? I got news for you, and and let
- 27:42Speaker 1: me tell you something else. So just so you know,
- 27:44Speaker 1: you and your wife ain't gonna be together much longer,
- 27:46Speaker 1: So just go ahead, all right, just had that announcement.
- 27:50Speaker 1: You could tell him you went to the strip club
- 27:51Speaker 1: and lost your wife. Just wait till that happen. Given
- 27:54Speaker 1: about a year and a half, y'all won't be together,
- 27:57Speaker 1: all right? And Ralli says, I'm dating a man that
- 28:01Speaker 1: cries when we make love. The sex is amazing, but
- 28:04Speaker 1: I don't know why he's so emotional. Could he be
- 28:07Speaker 1: a novice and I'm too much for him? Is this normal? Yeah? No,
- 28:11Speaker 1: you got to get out of that planned real half
- 28:17Speaker 1: while we have one, okay, But every day, every time,
- 28:21Speaker 1: every time, a little wit and then you're talking about
- 28:29Speaker 1: the sex is phenomenal. But then he cried. He killed
- 28:31Speaker 1: it every time he cried. Now you got to hold
- 28:34Speaker 1: him and comfort him because this is planned. Where's yours?
- 28:41Speaker 1: All right? Thank you? Coming up at the top of

- 36:11Speaker 1: Girls Weekend. Is that the name of the movie Girls Trips?
- 36:14Speaker 1: But over the weekend, Over the weekend, she had a
- 36:16Speaker 1: little bump in her career when she got busted. DUI,
- 36:20Speaker 1: we're rooting for you. It reported that when Tiffany got
- 36:23Speaker 1: in the back of the car, she said, this, check

- 38:44Speaker 1: Watch out there now, all right, thank you, Jay coming
- 38:53Speaker 1: up in thirty four minutes after the hour at Mitch please,
- 38:56Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell says he's sorry for implying that African American
- 39:00Speaker 1: aren't Americans. We'll talk about it right after this. You're
- 39:04Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, so send a GOP leader.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell sparked an uproar last Wednesday while explaining his
- 39:13Speaker 1: opposition to Democrats voting rights legislation. He said. This is
- 39:18Speaker 1: what he said. Now, if you look at the statistics,
- 39:21Speaker 1: African American voters are voting in just as high a
- 39:25Speaker 1: percentage as Americans. What implying that black voters are not Americans?
- 39:34Speaker 1: And of course he's been I really am not because
- 39:39Speaker 1: there's a thing such as inside voice and outside voice.
- 39:45Speaker 1: We know it. I mean, it's how he's always felt.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I mean, it's always how he's always voted. He's expressed
- 39:53Speaker 1: nothing but those type of views. I did none of
- 39:55Speaker 1: these people's surprise meeting none of them. He's at it,
- 40:00Speaker 1: and he considers us separate. He's always considered us separate.
- 40:08Speaker 1: You know, But you think about or ain't just him? Yeah,
- 40:15Speaker 1: you know we've always been separate. We are the black vote,
- 40:19Speaker 1: right to vote, We are the black vote. Can't keep
- 40:24Speaker 1: that in mind now, So it's it's it's more than him.
- 40:28Speaker 1: This is the system. Ween, that's just you know, this
- 40:30Speaker 1: country right here, we're having a problem because it just
- 40:33Speaker 1: this is not the country that's on paper, right This
- 40:37Speaker 1: is not the one that's in the constitution. That's that's
- 40:40Speaker 1: not the country we live in. This country has to
- 40:43Speaker 1: be what's on paper for all Americans or else not.
- 40:45Speaker 1: It's it's false. It's false, and they I'm tired of
- 40:51Speaker 1: living to lie with them, just telling like all their
- 40:54Speaker 1: opportunities in America. Absolutely, can you make something about yourself
- 40:58Speaker 1: in this country. Absolutely, But now is it gonna come
- 41:04Speaker 1: with some challenges as anywhere else. But that thing set
- 41:09Speaker 1: up in place to stop you, you better believe it.
- 41:13Speaker 1: And all you got to do is try to become something.
- 41:15Speaker 1: And you're gonna meet all the watch I promise you
- 41:17Speaker 1: you will. I promise you you will. You will meet
- 41:21Speaker 1: every last one of them. And the moment you thank
- 41:23Speaker 1: you that somebody with a little bit more power gonna
- 41:26Speaker 1: step in and try to show you something. And you
- 41:28Speaker 1: gotta fight through that. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, it's been He's
- 41:34Speaker 1: been trending Steve since since then. And on Friday, he
- 41:38Speaker 1: said he inadvertently omitted the word almost, but then after
- 41:43Speaker 1: the news conference ended, he returned to the microphone to
- 41:46Speaker 1: correct himself one more time. The omitted word is all,
- 41:50Speaker 1: not almost, he said, sorry, sorry, all almost. What do
- 41:56Speaker 1: you mean by that, Shirley, Well, you know it's omitted. Yeah,
- 42:00Speaker 1: he said. The comment that he made would have read
- 42:03Speaker 1: differently had he said all Americans or almost all Americans,
- 42:08Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, It would have read differently
- 42:10Speaker 1: and not not been so obvious that he was separating us.
- 42:16Speaker 1: He said, African Americans. If you look at the statistics,
- 42:20Speaker 1: African Americans voters are voting in justice high a percentage
- 42:25Speaker 1: as Americans. So if he had said all Americans or
- 42:29Speaker 1: you know, that wouldn't have made a difference. But he
- 42:30Speaker 1: thinks it wouldn't have made a difference. But he's trying to,
- 42:34Speaker 1: you know, fix what he said. He'd been talking in
- 42:37Speaker 1: Sarah for ever. Yeah, you can add all are almost
- 42:43Speaker 1: once you say African Americans and Americans voters vote almost
- 42:50Speaker 1: as much as Americans, just as much as Americans. Either
- 42:56Speaker 1: way you want to put it, homie, but that's what
- 43:00Speaker 1: That's who you are, that's who he is. Sometimes you
- 43:05Speaker 1: make a statement that can't be fixed. It's just can't
- 43:07Speaker 1: be fixed. You can't fix that. You can't fix that
- 43:11Speaker 1: was not a slipper. They ain't the words you could
- 43:13Speaker 1: have inserted that would change that. But but this is
- 43:19Speaker 1: this is also what he said, Steve. He said, he
- 43:23Speaker 1: said sorry, and then he said he called the criticism
- 43:26Speaker 1: an outrageous mischaracterization of his record. As a result of
- 43:31Speaker 1: leaving one word out inadvertently the other day, which I
- 43:35Speaker 1: just now have supplied to you. It's deeply offensive. Oh
- 43:39Speaker 1: now he's oh right there, he's special, Mitch, please again.
- 43:52Speaker 1: All right? Coming up next, Mitch, coming up next, It
- 43:56Speaker 1: is the Nephew and the prank phone call for today.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming
- 44:05Speaker 1: up about four minutes after the hour. It's my strawberry
- 44:08Speaker 1: letter for today. The subject he won't stay out of
- 44:11Speaker 1: my stuff. We'll get into that in just a little bit,
- 44:14Speaker 1: because right now it is time for the Nephew and
- 44:17Speaker 1: the prank phone calling. What you got for us now?
- 44:20Speaker 1: Church bees? Church Bees? So let's go can Hello. Hello,
- 44:26Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach us to trace. Hey you got it? Hey?
- 44:29Speaker 1: How you doing? This is? This is brother Glenn from
- 44:31Speaker 1: the church. Hey, brother Glenn, how are you doing. I'm good,
- 44:34Speaker 1: I'm good, I'm real good. Did you enjoy service morning? Oh?
- 44:38Speaker 1: I enjoyed it? Pasta? Who who pasta? Brought it down?
- 44:45Speaker 1: Oh my god? That was a word for me, right
- 44:48Speaker 1: right right right? So what do our old the pleasure
- 44:50Speaker 1: is called? I wanted to give you some information that
- 44:53Speaker 1: the that the church has come up with and we
- 44:56Speaker 1: wanted to let you know what was going on before
- 44:59Speaker 1: next Sunday. I didn't interrupt you that. Oh no, no,
- 45:02Speaker 1: I actually i may sound a little a little off
- 45:05Speaker 1: a little bit. I'm trying to get getting ready for
- 45:06Speaker 1: my little babies, my little darlins, and I'm trying. Your
- 45:09Speaker 1: voice sounds so familiar to me. It just sounds so familiar.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Trying to play place that voice. Okay, Well, you've seen
- 45:15Speaker 1: me at the church quite a few times. I think
- 45:17Speaker 1: I have I'm just trying to place it. I can't
- 45:19Speaker 1: place it right now, but looking at it. Well, nevertheless,
- 45:22Speaker 1: I just wanted here's here's what's going on now. You
- 45:24Speaker 1: aware of that for the last the last six Sundays,
- 45:27Speaker 1: you've been actually coming in the service late. Have you
- 45:30Speaker 1: realized that, Yes, I know, I'm sorry about that, but uh,
- 45:35Speaker 1: you know, yes, I have, I have my reasons. So okay, okay,
- 45:38Speaker 1: Well here's what's going on. The officials at the church
- 45:41Speaker 1: have gotten together and this is what they've decided on,
- 45:44Speaker 1: is that anybody who is late starting next Sunday, there
- 45:48Speaker 1: would be a fifteen dollar charge for that for coming
- 45:51Speaker 1: in and disrupting services. The fastest tide of service being
- 45:56Speaker 1: disrupted by people walking in late that that could not
- 45:59Speaker 1: come at a worse time. I don't have fifteen dollars
- 46:03Speaker 1: to give. I don't. I don't have it. Oh Um,
- 46:09Speaker 1: Look I'm sorry, I'm sorry that we late. I am.
- 46:13Speaker 1: We are doing our best. I have three kids, have
- 46:16Speaker 1: three young kids, two seven and nine, and they are
- 46:20Speaker 1: a handful, and and and we do the best that
- 46:24Speaker 1: we can to get the church on time and and
- 46:26Speaker 1: to tell your truth when we get there. It's during
- 46:29Speaker 1: praise and worship. I mean, pastor ain't even preaching yet,
- 46:32Speaker 1: so I know it's not past, it's not up yet,
- 46:35Speaker 1: but he's he's stating that people coming in. It just
- 46:38Speaker 1: seems very disrupted to the service that's going on. That's
- 46:41Speaker 1: so Nevertheless, like I said, this is a warning call,
- 46:44Speaker 1: you know, to let you know that if you are
- 46:46Speaker 1: late on next Sunday, then they will be charging you
- 46:49Speaker 1: fifteen dollars a lafe charge. And actually you won't be
- 46:52Speaker 1: able to even come in until you are until you
- 46:55Speaker 1: pay ten dollars. I can't even get in church with
- 46:59Speaker 1: we Look, okay, look I don't I don't owe nothing.
- 47:03Speaker 1: I don't owe you no explanation but I need to
- 47:05Speaker 1: tell you something. We are me and my kids for
- 47:08Speaker 1: the last a few sundays that we've been late. It's
- 47:12Speaker 1: because my car broke down. We are owned the bus
- 47:15Speaker 1: man public transportation. Okay, I mean, and I understand, I understand,
- 47:19Speaker 1: I civilize with everything that you're going through. But why
- 47:22Speaker 1: are you called if you understand? Why are you calling
- 47:24Speaker 1: me about fifteen dollars? If you understand what I'm going through?
- 47:26Speaker 1: Well I didn't. I first of all, I didn't know
- 47:27Speaker 1: what you would go? Why are you raising your voice
- 47:29Speaker 1: at Why are you raising? Did you just raise your
- 47:32Speaker 1: voice at me? You know what? You know what I think?
- 47:34Speaker 1: You're raising your voice at me? How dare you call
- 47:37Speaker 1: me about this? About a feet And I'm there at church.
- 47:42Speaker 1: I got my kids in there trying to raise them
- 47:44Speaker 1: up is where they should go, just like the Bible say.
- 47:47Speaker 1: And you know why I gotta do this and why
- 47:49Speaker 1: I'm lead? Why why we gotta tesch the bus? Do
- 47:51Speaker 1: you understand why that is? Brother Glenn? No, I do not.
- 47:55Speaker 1: That is because they to their dad is ain't and
- 47:58Speaker 1: they yes, you got to calm down a little bit now.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Oh Jesus help me, Jesus help me, Jesus. Okay, listen,
- 48:06Speaker 1: all I can do is tell you this. I hope
- 48:08Speaker 1: you can make it. Maybe you can catch an earlier bus,
- 48:11Speaker 1: you know what I mean, and get there a little earlier.
- 48:13Speaker 1: But but I'm just stating the fact that as of
- 48:16Speaker 1: next Sunday, if you come in late, it's fifteen dollars
- 48:18Speaker 1: late fee, and that's what you'll pay in order to
- 48:20Speaker 1: get in the service. You know what, Well, maybe next
- 48:23Speaker 1: Sunday I just won't be there. How about that? You know,
- 48:27Speaker 1: I'm already working six days a week. The only day
- 48:30Speaker 1: I have office Sunday, I've been baking, breaking my back.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Do you know? I worked two jobs or two jobs,
- 48:36Speaker 1: and they always trying to take money out of my check,
- 48:38Speaker 1: always trying to pull me here and there, and I'm
- 48:40Speaker 1: always tired. I get two hours asleep, and then now
- 48:43Speaker 1: the church wants to dump another fifteen dollars charging me
- 48:46Speaker 1: for being at church. Well that's what I'm supposed to do.
- 48:48Speaker 1: But you're coming in late though, because to Tracy, you
- 48:52Speaker 1: know what, you know what, late ain't bad. Okay. I
- 48:56Speaker 1: might be delayed, but I ain't denied, and I'm getting
- 48:58Speaker 1: there the best way that I know how We o
- 49:00Speaker 1: the bus. I have to put my kids on the
- 49:02Speaker 1: school bus. And not only have to put them on
- 49:04Speaker 1: the school buses, I have to get on the bus
- 49:06Speaker 1: to myself to him because I don't have a car,
- 49:08Speaker 1: because they daddy's ain't doing nothing nothing for them. Do
- 49:12Speaker 1: you understand what I'm saying to you? I need to understand. Oh,
- 49:17Speaker 1: Daddy number one, guess what he daddy for two? He
- 49:20Speaker 1: and jail been there by five years. He ain't. And
- 49:23Speaker 1: Daddy number three he decided to go ahead and walk out, ain't.
- 49:28Speaker 1: I ain't heard from that in about seven months now.
- 49:32Speaker 1: He know we're struggling. He had the nerve to take
- 49:34Speaker 1: my wallet too. You don't. You don't even understand what
- 49:36Speaker 1: I'm going through. You don't even understand that I'm trying
- 49:38Speaker 1: to make a better life for me and my children.
- 49:40Speaker 1: There is one more thing, such a tracy that the
- 49:42Speaker 1: Church wants you to know before the next Sunday that
- 49:44Speaker 1: you definitely need to know. And what one more thing
- 49:47Speaker 1: does the church want me to know? It's like sixteen dollars.
- 49:49Speaker 1: The Church just wants you to know that this is
- 49:51Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Jail. Your sister
- 49:54Speaker 1: Patrese got me to pray phone call you. I am
- 50:00Speaker 1: gonna who her. You know, I ain't got time for that. No,
- 50:07Speaker 1: I ain't got time for that. Oh Patrese, girl, you're
- 50:14Speaker 1: all right. Oh, I got something for her. How about that?
- 50:19Speaker 1: She told me? She said, she said, my sister car
- 50:21Speaker 1: broke down. She says she got these kids she over
- 50:25Speaker 1: are struggling and struggling, and she trying to make it.
- 50:28Speaker 1: But you gotta give a hard time. She just wanted,
- 50:30Speaker 1: she wanted, she wanted you to put us. She wanted
- 50:32Speaker 1: to put a smile on your face. What she well,
- 50:35Speaker 1: all you want being settled out, I'm gonna have to
- 50:37Speaker 1: say she did. Right. Wow, now that I know you,
- 50:43Speaker 1: y'all were joking, and now I know this is nephew Tommy. Hey,
- 50:48Speaker 1: I gotta ask you something, baby. What's the baddest and
- 50:51Speaker 1: I mean the baddest radio show in the land, that
- 50:54Speaker 1: Steve Harvid Morning Show? Baby? Oh man, you need to stop,
- 51:05Speaker 1: you stop you think so bus man, Come on, dog y,
- 51:13Speaker 1: the church needs it's money, okay, So don't don't, don't
- 51:18Speaker 1: don't with fifteen dollars, yes, it's fifteen dollars. We need everything.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Bring all these ties into the storehouse. But what what
- 51:24Speaker 1: what what do you say? Sir ya come huh wait
- 51:28Speaker 1: wait wait, let me ask you a question. Why am
- 51:31Speaker 1: I caught up in this? I can ask you a question, Tom.
- 51:39Speaker 1: In the process of doing a prank where you see
- 51:43Speaker 1: the persons like really really doing bad, is there anything
- 51:47Speaker 1: inside you that says, I I can't do this. I
- 51:50Speaker 1: just no, no, I go I go harder when when
- 51:53Speaker 1: I see you crumbling. When I see you crumbling, I
- 51:56Speaker 1: go harder. I want you to fall off. I tell me.
- 52:00Speaker 1: I was so mad at the beginning of the prank
- 52:03Speaker 1: when she said seemed like I recognize your voice. Oh
- 52:08Speaker 1: you seen me many times at the church, and she
- 52:10Speaker 1: was trying to get you to tell her you know
- 52:14Speaker 1: who you were right the description. I almost jumped in
- 52:17Speaker 1: and said, I'm the short ball head deacon. I just
- 52:23Speaker 1: wanted that. I wasn't going to do that, deacon, short
- 52:31Speaker 1: ball head deacon. Yeah. I couldn't get in there. Why
- 52:35Speaker 1: I wanted to let me, Let me let me say this,
- 52:39Speaker 1: Let me say this. I'm going to Huntsville, Alabama, February

- 53:37Speaker 1: and hold on tight. We got it for you. Here.
- 53:39Speaker 1: He is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, Nephew. Subject he
- 53:44Speaker 1: won't stay out up my stuff. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 53:49Speaker 1: a forty six year old married woman and this is
- 53:51Speaker 1: my second marriage. When I was dating my new husband,
- 53:55Speaker 1: he'd love wearing my house shoes around the house, even
- 53:58Speaker 1: though his feet off the back. Then he started wearing
- 54:03Speaker 1: my bathrobe until I got him a big, comfy one
- 54:06Speaker 1: like I have. I'm not even a big woman, so
- 54:08Speaker 1: it had to be uncomfortable. The moment we moved in together,
- 54:12Speaker 1: he was in everything of mine. He plunders and goes
- 54:17Speaker 1: through my stuff, and I'll find important things misplaced because
- 54:22Speaker 1: he's used them. I can't ever find my nail clippers
- 54:25Speaker 1: and files because he takes them to work with him,
- 54:28Speaker 1: or they're left in his car. He's growing his hair out,
- 54:31Speaker 1: so he wears these little knowing twists in his head,
- 54:34Speaker 1: and he uses all of my shampoo, conditioner, and styling
- 54:38Speaker 1: products because he needs his hair moisturizers moisturized, or so
- 54:42Speaker 1: he says. I have encouraged him many times to go
- 54:45Speaker 1: to Walmart and get his own things, but he's stubborn
- 54:49Speaker 1: and says it's easier to use mine. When I started
- 54:52Speaker 1: a diet, he ate all of the meal prep I did.
- 54:56Speaker 1: He has no limits, and no matter how much I
- 54:59Speaker 1: yell and screa at him, it's like living with a child.
- 55:03Speaker 1: My own kids don't touch my things, and I need
- 55:05Speaker 1: him to learn to keep his hands to himself. This
- 55:08Speaker 1: leads me to the biggest problem. He likes to spoon
- 55:12Speaker 1: every night, and it was cute at first, but now
- 55:16Speaker 1: it's a problem because once again he's in my stuff. Yes,
- 55:22Speaker 1: he has to have his hand on it to fall asleep.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Can you imagine how awkward this is for me? He's
- 55:29Speaker 1: all in my space and in my stuff day and night.
- 55:33Speaker 1: How do I get some sort of separation from him
- 55:36Speaker 1: without causing a big rift in my marriage? I should
- 55:41Speaker 1: have stopped it from the beginning. What do I do now? Holy?
- 55:46Speaker 1: Holy WHOA? Yeah, you should have stopped it in the beginning.
- 55:52Speaker 1: I don't know. At first I thought this letter was
- 55:54Speaker 1: going to be about cross dressing, and then it just
- 55:57Speaker 1: kind of changed for me. You didn't stop him in
- 55:59Speaker 1: the beginning. But how could you have known it would
- 56:02Speaker 1: be this bad? I mean, I mean, there are, of
- 56:04Speaker 1: course worse things in life, but he is like a
- 56:07Speaker 1: spoiled brad kid. He's all over the place. What did
- 56:11Speaker 1: he bring to the marriage? Did he have any Does
- 56:13Speaker 1: he have anything? It doesn't sound like he do, but
- 56:16Speaker 1: he does. He's also lazy. He's disrespectful, he's inconsiderate, he's selfish,
- 56:21Speaker 1: I mean lazy because he won't get his own hair
- 56:23Speaker 1: products that's simple, you know, Like you say, just go
- 56:26Speaker 1: down to the walmart and pick yourself up something disrespectful.
- 56:31Speaker 1: He's in your things without asking you. You know you
- 56:34Speaker 1: can't find him when you're looking for him. You've asked
- 56:37Speaker 1: him to stop, he won't. He's inconsiderate, selfish, he doesn't
- 56:40Speaker 1: care how this makes you feel. He's just walking all
- 56:44Speaker 1: over you with no What is with this guy? He
- 56:49Speaker 1: needs to understand that even in marriage there are boundaries
- 56:52Speaker 1: there just there's boundaries everywhere. Your spouse needs to still
- 56:56Speaker 1: be respectful and ask you to use your things. I
- 56:59Speaker 1: mean it is very childish and stupid. I agree with
- 57:02Speaker 1: you there. So I say treat him like a child
- 57:05Speaker 1: and put him on punishment and until he can leave
- 57:08Speaker 1: your stuff alone. No spooning, No hands on your stuff
- 57:13Speaker 1: like you say, no hands on it, and you have
- 57:15Speaker 1: to mean it this time. I say, stopped putting yourself second,
- 57:18Speaker 1: stand up for yourself. You gotta you know, you scream
- 57:21Speaker 1: and yell at him, but he doesn't hear you. But
- 57:23Speaker 1: you gotta make him hear you. Your husband is wrong.
- 57:27Speaker 1: You're letting him get away with this stuff. Steve, sure
- 57:31Speaker 1: you're saying something you said when you first read the letter,
- 57:35Speaker 1: you thought it was about cross dressing, and I did too. Yeah. Yeah,
- 57:39Speaker 1: And after reading a whole letter, I still think the
- 57:43Speaker 1: same thing. And I thought, initially, yeah, thats what the
- 57:46Speaker 1: hell I'm going. That's the round I'm going, right, Hill, Yeah,
- 57:50Speaker 1: I still think it's about some damn cross dress. And
- 57:53Speaker 1: I got proof in the whole damn letter. Something going on. Hill. Now,
- 57:57Speaker 1: you forty six year old married woman. It's your second marriage,
- 58:00Speaker 1: this to your new husband, and before you got married,
- 58:03Speaker 1: he loved wearing your house shoes round the house, even
- 58:07Speaker 1: though his feet hang off the back. Now, she later
- 58:11Speaker 1: on says she's not a large woman, So this is
- 58:13Speaker 1: a small woman. Recoglicide. You know she ain't no bigger
- 58:16Speaker 1: of what she's saying. But so you got small feet.
- 58:20Speaker 1: I can't even put my toes in Margree's house shoes.
- 58:24Speaker 1: I can't even get my toes in that. I can't
- 58:26Speaker 1: get through the opening of none of her house shit
- 58:30Speaker 1: because my feet too wide. Now, somehow he didn't manage
- 58:35Speaker 1: to slide in your house shoes and what they're just
- 58:38Speaker 1: hanging off the So I'm assuming this ain't a big man.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Well he's bigger than you. Then he started wearing your
- 58:45Speaker 1: bathrobe until I got him a big, comfortablee like I have.
- 58:48Speaker 1: I'm not even a big woman, so it had to
- 58:50Speaker 1: be uncomfortable. So now he could he could put your
- 58:53Speaker 1: bathrobe on, and he could wear your house shoes. Okay,
- 58:58Speaker 1: then you said, I'm not even a big woman, so
- 59:00Speaker 1: it had to be uncomfortable the moment we moved in together.
- 59:03Speaker 1: He has everything of mine. He plunders and goes through
- 59:07Speaker 1: my stuff. I'll find important things misplaced because he's used
- 59:12Speaker 1: this cross quest. He plunders through my things. This don't
- 59:17Speaker 1: sound familiar to you. This don't sound like a story
- 59:21Speaker 1: we've heard any news recently. Over the years. It started
- 59:25Speaker 1: like that to day house too, just a little wearing
- 59:29Speaker 1: dresses and stuff. Next thing you know, Yeah, he was
- 59:34Speaker 1: a major news item. And I'm not even gonna get
- 59:37Speaker 1: into it because of political correct correctness, and nobody's gonna
- 59:40Speaker 1: be able to say Steve was bashing anybody, because I'm not.
- 59:43Speaker 1: I'm just making you aware of a familiar story you
- 59:46Speaker 1: may have heard. All right, hang on, I have no
- 59:50Speaker 1: ways to bring it about. I'll just drop more clues
- 59:53Speaker 1: right afternoon. We'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 59:56Speaker 1: up in twenty three minutes after be our subject, he
- 59:59Speaker 1: won't stay out of my stuff. We'll get back into
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening, all right, Come on,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Steve Woot's recap today's Strawberry letter and so we can
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: finish up your response, he won't stay out of my stuff.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Here is the subject, he won't stay out of my stuff.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: This sounds like a very familiar story. This ain't common
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: for us. That's in marriages and relationship. But when you
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: hit this, it reeks a familiarity. It's your husband. He
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: loves walking around the house and your stuff. Now, Shirley saying,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: at first she thought this letter was about cross dressing,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: and then she went on it was about other stuff.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: I'm thinking it's about cross dressing. Hole dog on letter too,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: And I'm explaining to you why got your house shoes on?
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Somehow he could finish toes in there and they just
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: hang off the bat then even wear your bathrobe around
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: the house, and then he goes he wears everything in yours.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: He plunders and through my stuff, and I'll find important
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: things misplaced. He shused them. I've heard of men who
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: wear their wife's clothes. I've heard of men who put
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: their wife's dresses on and then wear they dresses and clothes.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: And you just said he plunders through everything. You got.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: It's more to this story right here, lady, I can't
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: even find my nail clippers and files because he take
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: them to work with him. Who do that? What man
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: take his wife's nail clippers and files to work with him? Who? Who?
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: I ain't never heard of that before, but I know
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: someone who get it. This story is sounding familiar, while
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I have more clues. He's growing his how. Oh, that's
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: all the sign. He's growing his how. So he wears
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: these little annoyed and twisted his head, and he used
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: all of my shampoo condition and styling product because he
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: needs his head moisturizer. So he said, he's growing his hal.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: He using your nail products, he wearing your clothes, and
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: he growing his hal. You're not gonna be able to
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: write in on, Steve Harvey. I'm too smart for this hill.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: But all I am asking you is this don't sound
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: for million. I bet your husband probably real athletic too.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: You know it could be still got still got these
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: house shoes on the knees, growing his hat and using
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: your nail products and all this here. You know, it
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: just sounds familiar to me. Now, I'm not getting in
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: trouble with this here because I would never but I'm
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: not fit to do say nobody's name, but be talking
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: about nobody lifestyle. That ain't my bugs. You do what
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: you want to do. But once you in your wife's
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: closing and growing your hal and doing your nails, all
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: this hill, I'm just saying, now, let's try to move on. Now.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: You've encouraged him to go to Walmart and get his
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: own things, but he stubborn. He says it's easy to
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: use mine. When I started a diet, Hold up, now,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: just said you weren't the big girl. Yeah, when I
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: started to diet. And that's some truth starting to come out. Now,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: maybe these house shoes is a little bit bigger than
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I thought. Maybe maybe he could wear this road. I'm
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: just saying, this is some stuff in this ladder. I'm
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: just reading the ladder. I'm just pulling out the fact
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: when I started a diet, he just said you wasn't
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: the big girls. I don't know all of a sudden,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: now we on the diet now and he ate all
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: the meal preps. Idd he has no limits of no
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: matter how much I yelled and scream at him. Is
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: like living with a child. My own kids do not
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: touch my things. I need him learn to keep his
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: hands himself. And then here we go to the biggest problem.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: He likes to spoon every night. And it was cute
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: at first, but now it's the problem because once again
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: he's in my stuff. Yes, he has to have his
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: hand on it to fall asleep. Cast got to be
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: very uncover you know, I'm gonna tell I'm like, now,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: somebody trying to put their head on your stuff every
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: night while you sleep, it's gonna be a problem. Damn it.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: I'm trying to sleep him finger nails couldn't cross me.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: You don't get your damn hands over there on yourself.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: What you're not finding fooling me? And I'm trying to
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: nails and everything all over here. I'm trying to go
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: to sleep. Kind of hard to go to sleep and
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: breathe hard at the same time, I get nervously. Nails
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: is around me and you hill, you know, following me,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: and I'm trying to go to sleep. You got your
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: finger nails, Get your nails, Get your nails. Can you
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: imagine how awkward this is to me? He's all in
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: my space and in my stuff all day and night.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: How do I get some sort of separation from him
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: without causing a big riff in my marriage? I should
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: have stopped this from the beginning. But what do I
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: do now? Well, you said this is your second marriage.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I'm thinking probably gonna have to start looking at a third.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: I'm thinking right now, after listening to reading this letter,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: if you don't get away from this man, he gonna
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: be up at y'all's church doing church church announcements and
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: someone else whoa because you know, after after they do
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: put all the clothes on and grow they hell, you know,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: they do get invited places to speak. So you're gonna
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: look up at church and your husband gonna be doing
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: church announcements instead of Sister Ross. All right, pagram at
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM to comment on today's letter the same dress,

- 1:07:00Speaker 1: He let's got everything. Look at it. Look at the
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: homes earls, you know, games like that, you know stuff
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: like that. That Tom Brady, you know what. I'm sad.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: You know That's why I asked at the house, Baker Mayfield,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: what did you see this? Covering? Though everybody'd been saying it,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I mean, pryme picked this too? Man the forty nineties,
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: top the package thirteen to ten? Who knows who that

- 1:07:59Speaker 1: I saw more points scored in a minute and two.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: Josh Allen was going to the AFC Championship twice thirteen

- 1:08:09Speaker 1: they let these foods get out here, I'll be damn
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: and not not only did they get down here, well,

- 1:08:19Speaker 1: get in the overtime, overtime so and they march and
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: get a touchdown. If they'd got a field goal, Buffalo
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: would have had a shot with the ball, yes, but

- 1:17:02Speaker 1: I have hung up on some people. All right, would
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: you rather appear on the TV show Naked and Afraid

- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Twenty one days? Have you seen them? Shark? Have you
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: seen them? You got to get in the water. I
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: ain't got to get in the water with Shark Week. Yeah,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: I ain't got comic. If you think you could be
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: outside with no clothes for twenty one you're sadly mistaken.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: There are people that do that right there. I don't
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: even understand what they're talking about. All them damn books
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: eating your ass up. Yeah, well, I'm gonna be pull
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: dudes off for islands. Dude had a parasite climbed inside

- 1:18:55Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, so Steve,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day. We
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: have to remind everyone that you are on Nick Cannon's
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: talk show today, so uh, you know, he's all over
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: the place. Check your local listing so you don't miss
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Steve and Nick Cannon today. Here we are. I forgot
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: to be honest with hey, y'all. I got some closing
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: remarks to day. It might be helpful to people, because
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: it's very very helpful to me. You know what I
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: really had to come to terms with. I was I
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: was thinking about It started off kind of a sad thought,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: you know, I was thinking about the people that we've
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: lost so far this year, and my wife reminded me
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: of something that I want to just share what you
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: all because it might can help you out sometimes in
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: looking at where we are in life and where we
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: want to be. We sometimes we just happened to look
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: at other people. And I was getting sad about the
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Louis Anderson and Bob Sagat, I was sad about Betty White.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: You know, just people share being capricorns or whatever. You know,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: I just facistica had a little moment. But you know
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: what Marjorie said, that really helped me man the other day,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: and it might help somebody else, and it made me
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: really start thinking about the whole spectrum of life. I said, Wow,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: you know, I just was fortunate enough to have a birthday.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: Bob Sagga died at sixty five. Louis Anderson was seventy.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: And you look at h Tally, the great designer. He passed.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Virgil just passed a lot of great people, passed all
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: of my heroes, Muhammad, Ali h Richard Pryor. You know,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: you think of all the people. I could go on
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: and on. The list is endless. I'm not trying to
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: think of everybody. I'm just telling you, and you know
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: what Margie said to me, that made a lot of sense,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: but it made me think even deeper. She says. Steve
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: that's not your story. That's not your story. And you
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: know what, folks, that's not your story either. What I'm
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: saying is I had to really refocus myself and it
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: caused me to think that all your blessings has your
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: name on it. Your name. Everything God has for you
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: specifically has your name on it. You don't have to
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: wonder if it was meant for you. You're gonna get it.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: It's gonna be in God's timing and it's gonna be
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: in God's will. And if you align yourself to his
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: timing and will, you will get everything that has your
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: name on it. That's the key, though. You got align
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: yourself up with his timing and his will. But all
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: of your blessings have your name on it. Stop looking
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: at what's happening to somebody else. That's not a story.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: I have extremely successful friends who have far more than
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: I have. That's not my story. It's not my story.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: It doesn't mean that you can't have some of the
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: same things, but you're getting it when they got it
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: and how they got it and exactly what they have.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: That's not going to happen. You know why, because that's
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: not your story. And as long as you keep looking
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: at somebody else, You're never gonna be content with who
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: you are. You have a lot of things that you
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: could be content with if you focused on you. But
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: the moment you're focus is on somebody else's article, somebody
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: else's print, somebody else's book, somebody else's chapter. Oh man,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: you're making a serious mistake, folks, because that's not your story.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: You know. You ever hear the slogan the grass is
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: greener on the other side, Really, the grass is greenness
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: on the side that you water. That's where the grass
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: really is green. The grass is greener on the side
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: that gets water. I give you an example. I got
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: a friend that's going through a divorce and hearing this
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: girl ain't been cool with each other for two years.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: It's been two years they have not been cool with
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: each other, and I mean told us that they weren't
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: cool with each other, right, So they're really they're going
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: through this divorce, and all he comes to me and
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: talk about it is this girl that he's seeing, right,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: And he's telling me about this girl he's seeing, and
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: he always talking about what his wife ain't And I
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: told him the other day we were talking and I said, hey, brother,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: God just tell you something. You keep talking about what
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: your wife anging, what this girl is. I say, he
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: saved Steve. That grass greener on the other side, though,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: I said, but dog, that's beside you watering. You ain't
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: even watering this side of it. You're watering that side.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: You buy her stuff, you tell her, she find you,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: compliment her. You sit out here talks with her, you
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: take out to dinner. You don't take your wife to dinner.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: You don't compliment her. Y'all gonna sit down and talk
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: no more. You ain't watering the grass on this side.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: So of course the grass is greener on the other side, brother,

- 1:24:38Speaker 1: saying you and your wife are to get back together,
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: but you can stop telling me how good is over there,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: because if you go over there and you do it
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: the same way you did your wife, that grass gonna
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: drop and look brown too, and then you're gonna have

- 1:25:11Speaker 1: and you water it and you tend to it. But
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: the moment you start looking at somebody else's story and
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: you start tending today chapters in books, you're gonna mess
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: up the writing of your own story. Man, it's your story.
