- 1:58Speaker 1: on your back at it it? Uh huh, i'sh your way.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now one and on it. Steve Harvey got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show. Okay. I want to share something with
- 2:17Speaker 1: you that I had to come to the realization one
- 2:19Speaker 1: time and even in the reinvention of myself right now,
- 2:23Speaker 1: I've had to come to that and I want to
- 2:24Speaker 1: share it with you today. Give it to you. I
- 2:28Speaker 1: want to tell you about something that a lot of
- 2:31Speaker 1: people do in their life and I want you to
- 2:33Speaker 1: be aware of it. Here it is, don't get stuck
- 2:38Speaker 1: on yourself. You could be wrong, you know I said,
- 2:47Speaker 1: don't get stuck on yourself. You could be wrong. You know.
- 2:55Speaker 1: The reason I'm saying this is because people have a
- 3:01Speaker 1: tendency to once they make a decision about something, or
- 3:05Speaker 1: once they decide to go a certain path, they go
- 3:09Speaker 1: against all everything, anything anybody says, anything anybody might do,
- 3:17Speaker 1: any other ruling they may come across. They shun advice,
- 3:24Speaker 1: They don't listen to counsel. They just I made the decision.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it anyway. Don't get stuck on yourself.
- 3:37Speaker 1: You could be wrong, you know. Now here's a sure
- 3:41Speaker 1: fire way to tell if you're wrong. If you don't
- 3:47Speaker 1: see any movement in the direction you've chosen, if you
- 3:54Speaker 1: don't see anything going right in that this scision. If
- 4:01Speaker 1: you feel as though you're in a rupt if the
- 4:06Speaker 1: wall you're climbing seems so insurmountable that you ain't even
- 4:12Speaker 1: moving an inch, and every time you turn around you
- 4:16Speaker 1: keep getting knocked by down, knocked back down. Don't get
- 4:18Speaker 1: stuck on yourself. You know you could be wrong. You know. See,
- 4:23Speaker 1: that's why it's important for people to always be open
- 4:27Speaker 1: to the reinvention of yourself. You know, you cannot be
- 4:32Speaker 1: afraid to reinvent yourself. In other words, you can't be
- 4:38Speaker 1: afraid to change. Change is necessary when it comes to growth.
- 4:44Speaker 1: There is no growth without change. You cannot grow and
- 4:50Speaker 1: never change. I'm sorry. It's it's like from the time
- 4:54Speaker 1: you're born, you are constantly growing, but in that growth,
- 4:58Speaker 1: have you not noticed you have instantly changed. The more
- 5:02Speaker 1: you know, Oh, listen to this, The more you know,
- 5:06Speaker 1: the older you look. Sorry, sorry, but there is no
- 5:16Speaker 1: growth without change. And I have found this to be true.
- 5:21Speaker 1: And the case the more you know, the older you look.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Now you can do drugs and and and and and
- 5:32Speaker 1: and kill both them theories because you can do drugs
- 5:36Speaker 1: and not know nothing and look real old. So you know,
- 5:39Speaker 1: there's a way around it. But I'm talking about if
- 5:42Speaker 1: you're spending your life trying to make something out yourself,
- 5:46Speaker 1: that is no growth without change. You cannot be afraid
- 5:51Speaker 1: to reinvent yourself. So don't get stuck on yourself because
- 5:55Speaker 1: you could be wrong. You know, if you're heading in
- 5:58Speaker 1: a direction and ain't nothing going right in your life,
- 6:00Speaker 1: could it be the wrong direction. If you're climbing and
- 6:04Speaker 1: you're making no headway, could it be the wrong direction?
- 6:09Speaker 1: Could you have possibly made the wrong choice? Don't get
- 6:12Speaker 1: stuck on yourself because you haven't made the wrong stuff.
- 6:15Speaker 1: It's okay to forgive yourself. It's okay to let yourself
- 6:18Speaker 1: off the hook. It's even smarter sometimes to admit that
- 6:22Speaker 1: you were wrong. You ever met somebody, ain't ever wrong
- 6:26Speaker 1: you Have you ever met somebody you talked to? They
- 6:28Speaker 1: ain't ever wrong about nothing. Man. They just it's their
- 6:32Speaker 1: way or the highway. It's this is my way, this
- 6:35Speaker 1: is the I know people like that, stuck on them
- 6:38Speaker 1: powered trips and all like that. You know what I
- 6:40Speaker 1: had to learn how to do. I had to learn
- 6:42Speaker 1: how to let them go on them power trips. But
- 6:44Speaker 1: listen to this. Though you're not taking me on that trip.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Though you're going on that trip by yourself, I'm going
- 6:50Speaker 1: in the right direction. I've decided to stop the way. Okay,
- 6:55Speaker 1: listen to this person. This person. I decided to stop
- 6:59Speaker 1: doing business the way I was doing business. I decided
- 7:04Speaker 1: to stop to allow business being done around me the
- 7:07Speaker 1: way business was being done around me. You know what,
- 7:10Speaker 1: you know the best decision I made was to allow
- 7:14Speaker 1: for God to have some say so and to offer
- 7:20Speaker 1: me his direction. I have found him to be a
- 7:23Speaker 1: better driver than anyone else I know. I have found
- 7:27Speaker 1: him to know more about the man he made than
- 7:33Speaker 1: anybody else who's merely associating with me. I have found
- 7:37Speaker 1: it to be a fact that my maker knows more
- 7:41Speaker 1: about the vehicle he created than does anybody else. If
- 7:46Speaker 1: you if your Chevy break, don't you take it to Chevy.
- 7:50Speaker 1: You don't take your Forward when it breaks down to
- 7:52Speaker 1: a Toyota dealership. They're not gonna know everything that the
- 7:56Speaker 1: Ford dealership would know about the vehicle. You know why,
- 7:59Speaker 1: because they're not the maker of it. So now why
- 8:03Speaker 1: are you living? You're letting your life being led, controlled
- 8:07Speaker 1: and guided by somebody other than your maker. I'm just
- 8:12Speaker 1: asking you to let's all take a common sense look
- 8:15Speaker 1: at this. So, if going to your maker is the
- 8:18Speaker 1: best way, the best decision I made in my business
- 8:21Speaker 1: was take over my brand myself and to allow the
- 8:26Speaker 1: maker of this brand. See without God, I'm none of this.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I'm none of this. I want you to clearly understand
- 8:33Speaker 1: I ain't none of this without him. I wish I
- 8:36Speaker 1: could have the guts to reach back there and pat
- 8:39Speaker 1: myself on the back for what I've accomplished in my life.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I wish I had the guts. I wish the nerve
- 8:46Speaker 1: of me because I know for or fact that there
- 8:50Speaker 1: is no way that I could have manufactured the life
- 8:52Speaker 1: that I have. I could not even have thought of it.
- 8:56Speaker 1: It's no way I could have told you that this
- 8:59Speaker 1: was the route I was gonna take and this is
- 9:01Speaker 1: the outcome. Because of it, I had no idea, no clue.
- 9:05Speaker 1: The one thing I had, though, was an unshakable faith
- 9:09Speaker 1: in God. I had an un and I just kept
- 9:14Speaker 1: believing in him. I kept believing that he had something
- 9:18Speaker 1: more for me. And then when I touched base with
- 9:21Speaker 1: him and asked him to show me what it is
- 9:23Speaker 1: what he had for me, tada, the magic show began.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Because you know what he did. He took all my
- 9:30Speaker 1: natural abilities that he had given to me, this gift
- 9:33Speaker 1: that he gave me, that that he poured into me
- 9:36Speaker 1: at birth, that same gift that he poured into you
- 9:39Speaker 1: at birth. The moment you go to him and let
- 9:42Speaker 1: him show you that gift, and then guess what. Once
- 9:46Speaker 1: he takes what he naturally put in you and put
- 9:49Speaker 1: his super his superpowers on top of that, then you
- 9:53Speaker 1: have some supernatural things going on in your life, and
- 9:56Speaker 1: you may not be feeling me I'm cool with that,
- 10:01Speaker 1: but I didn't have some supernatural things happened to me.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Every day I wake up some supernatural the the man,
- 10:10Speaker 1: the rewards of my life, the awards of my life,
- 10:13Speaker 1: the accomplishments, the how I'm working now, how I manage
- 10:16Speaker 1: it all, all that ain't none but God. That ain't
- 10:19Speaker 1: nothing but God. You can't even explain this schedule to people.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Sometimes when people ask me, Steve, how do you do it?
- 10:25Speaker 1: I go, well, that's what I manage my time. And
- 10:27Speaker 1: then at the end of when I get through, I said, hey, man,
- 10:29Speaker 1: you know what I need to tell y'all for real.
- 10:31Speaker 1: It's God. I don't really know, but I'm letting him
- 10:34Speaker 1: manage me. So he handling it. He ain't gonna put
- 10:37Speaker 1: no more of me than I can bear. Listen to me, y'all,
- 10:39Speaker 1: don't be afraid to reinvent yourself and remember this. Don't
- 10:43Speaker 1: get stuck on yourself because you could be wrong. You know,
- 10:48Speaker 1: you absolutely could be wrong. If you don't tie this
- 10:52Speaker 1: to your gift, you will be struggling the rest of
- 10:56Speaker 1: your life. Ladies and gentlemen, your undivided attention is required
- 11:05Speaker 1: at this particular time. This is a Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 11:10Speaker 1: It's Steve talking. The rest of these people you're about
- 11:14Speaker 1: to hear is the people that make the show happen
- 11:17Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. Shirley Strawberry, Good morning, Steve, Carla for real?
- 11:23Speaker 1: What's happenings Steve? Ladies and gentlemen. Here Spates, lovingly known
- 11:28Speaker 1: as Junior Morning Uck, the bitterest old basket owned radio.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Whatever you got, b hated, j Anthony Brown, whatever you got,
- 11:44Speaker 1: I hated, I hated. Here is the second sexiest man
- 11:48Speaker 1: on earth right now in album What It Be Tople
- 11:56Speaker 1: the Moaning Paper. You must really be tired. Huh yeah,
- 12:03Speaker 1: I figured this much. Yeah, I really just wanted to
- 12:05Speaker 1: hear him say that would be okay? Can you believe that?
- 12:11Speaker 1: I mean, I know your team, Tommy, I know that Jimmy.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Whatever he say he is, he is. Okay, you agree
- 12:16Speaker 1: with Indris Elba, Okay, people's sexiest man alive? Whatever time
- 12:21Speaker 1: to say he is, he is. He wouldn't say that.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Tommy said he was number two, right behind Entry. He
- 12:27Speaker 1: wouldn't say to hear what do you say? Okay? This
- 12:33Speaker 1: boy is so confused. But Tommy, how can you say
- 12:38Speaker 1: that you have mir do you have sexiest number two man?
- 12:48Speaker 1: It is. He just said it. That's how he said.
- 12:54Speaker 1: He said it too, and it sounds like from the people, man,
- 12:57Speaker 1: the sexiest number two man. When somebody say number two,
- 13:03Speaker 1: what do they normally refer to? You know, it ain't pison.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Oh god, that was wrong. That's visual all of it.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Just to say that. Baby, let's get it. I think
- 13:22Speaker 1: we're gonna change. So let me get this straight. So
- 13:25Speaker 1: I'm on board. And I understand because after the election,
- 13:28Speaker 1: I just quit watch it. I was exhausted. Stacy Abrams
- 13:32Speaker 1: is going to be in a runoff. It looks that
- 13:39Speaker 1: looks like, well, no, you gotta wait till all the
- 13:40Speaker 1: votes are counted. There are a lot of votes that Yeah,
- 13:44Speaker 1: she hasn't conceded because she's waiting for each and everybody. Jake,
- 13:48Speaker 1: what did you tell me that for too? I said
- 13:50Speaker 1: it would be a runoff. That's what they're saying. That's
- 13:53Speaker 1: a possibility of a run Yeah, it's a possibility ability.
- 13:58Speaker 1: He told me yesterday day. Jay told me yesterday was
- 14:02Speaker 1: gonna be a runoff. Well, I mean it's looking more
- 14:05Speaker 1: and more that way. Yeah, it could be. Yes, I'll
- 14:08Speaker 1: tell you what show better you need to think Florida
- 14:16Speaker 1: to Steve, possibility of one being down there too, how
- 14:20Speaker 1: can that be? He conceded, Yeah, he conceded. And now
- 14:25Speaker 1: he's getting more information about some of the votes and
- 14:29Speaker 1: that are coming in. So now, alright, listen. Coming up
- 14:36Speaker 1: at thirty two after the hour, we're gonna talk about
- 14:39Speaker 1: today's headlines and what is going on at the White House.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Show. Coming
- 14:48Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, Mrs Anne will
- 14:50Speaker 1: be here. She'll have the latest on the investigation of
- 14:52Speaker 1: yesterday's mass shooting in Thousand Oaks, California. This was horrific.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I mean, uh, it's hard to put it into words,
- 15:01Speaker 1: the pain. I'm sure that these people are feeling it
- 15:03Speaker 1: all over the country. Twenty eight year old former marine
- 15:06Speaker 1: ian David Long the gunman who stormed into the Borderline
- 15:10Speaker 1: Bar and Grill and killed at least twelve um, including
- 15:14Speaker 1: a law enforcement officer, Sergeant Ron Helis, and injured more
- 15:17Speaker 1: than a dozen others. It was at the Borderline Bar
- 15:20Speaker 1: and Grill, as we mentioned during the club's weekly um
- 15:23Speaker 1: College Country night. The gunman is dead from a self
- 15:26Speaker 1: inflicted wound. Several patrons broke windows to allow others to escape,
- 15:31Speaker 1: cutting themselves on shards of glasses they exited. President Trump
- 15:35Speaker 1: has ordered uh flags phone at half staff on all
- 15:38Speaker 1: public buildings and military facilities until sundown on Saturday, and
- 15:42Speaker 1: he thanked the first responder Steve Man. Oh man, here
- 15:47Speaker 1: we are again. I don't know this is this is
- 15:51Speaker 1: like this is uh yeah, it's hard to put it.
- 15:56Speaker 1: I mean I'm just at a loss sometimes because what
- 15:58Speaker 1: we what what are we as people that we would
- 16:02Speaker 1: do things like this to other people? I mean, what
- 16:06Speaker 1: what are And it's happening far too often. Man, our
- 16:10Speaker 1: country has to do something. We are so dog going
- 16:14Speaker 1: free that we're free to do whatever. And then guess what.
- 16:20Speaker 1: And then after you had exercise your freedom to do
- 16:23Speaker 1: whatever good or bad, sinfold break the law. We got
- 16:27Speaker 1: the nerve to spend all this taxpayer money to have
- 16:31Speaker 1: a trial for you. That that's what's amazing to me.
- 16:37Speaker 1: You did it. You was the man that shot all
- 16:39Speaker 1: the people now trying. I'm not referring to this guy
- 16:41Speaker 1: right here because he's dead, but all these other people
- 16:45Speaker 1: that do this and then they're going to custod Now
- 16:47Speaker 1: we got the way to try and spend all this
- 16:49Speaker 1: money for what dog? He don't get no trial. See,
- 16:59Speaker 1: let me tell you something. You do this in some
- 17:00Speaker 1: other countries. Oh it does, bro, I got news for you, man.
- 17:06Speaker 1: But see, this country has more incarcerated people than anybody
- 17:10Speaker 1: in the world. And with the freest country in the world.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Something's wrong, man. But here's like the other thing. It's like,
- 17:19Speaker 1: we want to be so angry with Mexico and Colombia
- 17:23Speaker 1: for flood in the United States with drugs. If we
- 17:26Speaker 1: wasn't using them, you can bring it over here. But
- 17:31Speaker 1: if there ain't no sales, come on, you know what
- 17:34Speaker 1: you gotta do. You gotta take it somewhere else. It's
- 17:38Speaker 1: it's it's a it's a it's a deep thing. And
- 17:41Speaker 1: instead of addressing the problem of addiction, helping people who
- 17:45Speaker 1: want to get clean, you know, stop locking up people
- 17:50Speaker 1: because they committed a crime to do dope and get
- 17:53Speaker 1: these people off the dope. But man, who came comes
- 18:01Speaker 1: nowhere like it comes to the United States and you know, Steve,
- 18:05Speaker 1: because of the shooting and because of what this guy,
- 18:09Speaker 1: this former marine I was going through. They say he
- 18:11Speaker 1: was suffering from PTSD post traumatic stress syndrome. And they're
- 18:17Speaker 1: looking at that. They're going to start looking at mental
- 18:19Speaker 1: health more. But there's still the problem of all these
- 18:22Speaker 1: guns on the streets, you know, with these mentally ill people.
- 18:25Speaker 1: But you know that's another problem. How we treat our
- 18:28Speaker 1: veterans when they come. You put these veterans in all
- 18:32Speaker 1: of these horrendous conditions, then you bring them back home
- 18:37Speaker 1: and you provide no services. He was in Afghanistan. Yeah,
- 18:43Speaker 1: you have any idea how many homeless vets is here?
- 18:46Speaker 1: I did a show on it the other day. There's
- 18:48Speaker 1: so many homeless vets. How do you serve your country?
- 18:51Speaker 1: And we can't get these people a house when they come. Yeah,
- 18:56Speaker 1: was living with his mother. Yeah, thousand and one of
- 19:01Speaker 1: the safest communities in the country. They're saying about Thousand Oaks,
- 19:05Speaker 1: where the shooting occurred. One of the safest communities in
- 19:08Speaker 1: the country. Yeah, their kids to college. They don't expect
- 19:13Speaker 1: that they had every every week they would have the
- 19:16Speaker 1: eighteen year olds on that particular Yeah, right, college, college
- 19:21Speaker 1: for country line dancing, you know, things like that, just
- 19:24Speaker 1: having for fun, for having fun, as you should as
- 19:28Speaker 1: like Tommy said, you send your kid to college, you
- 19:31Speaker 1: don't expect him to come back in a box. It's
- 19:35Speaker 1: it's horrible. The families, man, your child, these police officers,
- 19:43Speaker 1: everybody always yeah, you're a dog going gunmen up there
- 19:47Speaker 1: in Vegas. Oh yeah, dude, to walk into church, the
- 19:52Speaker 1: one that walked into synagon, the one that walked in
- 19:54Speaker 1: that movie theater. They just keep walking in what we
- 19:57Speaker 1: have a trial for thee before yoga yoga school. We
- 20:03Speaker 1: never word about any of this, No, no, we didn't.
- 20:09Speaker 1: This is what these kids deal with today, stuff like this. Yeah, yeah,
- 20:14Speaker 1: it really is, it really really is. Um. We we're
- 20:18Speaker 1: here far too often. Also Steven other news along with
- 20:22Speaker 1: Attorney General Jeff Sessions resigning at the request of the president. Well,
- 20:27Speaker 1: the president asked him that's fine. Yeah, they walked about
- 20:33Speaker 1: that's fine. Isn't that what his note said? At your request,
- 20:37Speaker 1: I am tendering my resid resignation. Um. Yeah, but anyway,
- 20:43Speaker 1: at the request of President Trump. The president is now banned.
- 20:46Speaker 1: CNN White House Chief correspondent Jim Acosta from the White House, man, O, man,
- 20:52Speaker 1: was he so combative and and just a bitter sounding
- 20:56Speaker 1: and yeah, yeah, we have a bigger problem that the
- 21:00Speaker 1: guy that he put in as the attorney general is
- 21:05Speaker 1: a guy who has come out and spoken against the
- 21:09Speaker 1: Mueller investigation and the Russian probe vehemently. They've got radio
- 21:15Speaker 1: interviews directing he's talking about it, says sham. It's a hoax.
- 21:21Speaker 1: It's all of this. It's gone too far. There is
- 21:24Speaker 1: no collusion, there was no anything. See, he has he
- 21:30Speaker 1: can't do his job properly. They cannot let him be
- 21:34Speaker 1: in charge or have anything to do with this mul
- 21:36Speaker 1: investigation because before he even got the position, he said
- 21:39Speaker 1: he wouldn't have it. He certainly did, but that's how
- 21:45Speaker 1: the president rolls. All right, Well, coming up next, we're
- 21:47Speaker 1: gonna move on. We'll come back to this throughout the morning.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Coming up next, it's the Nephew and Run that Prank Back.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to. Coming up at the
- 21:58Speaker 1: top of the hour and entertainment Knews, some great news
- 22:01Speaker 1: from Gabrielle Union and her husband d Wade Dwyane Wade.
- 22:05Speaker 1: They welcome their brand new baby girl to their family. Yeah,
- 22:09Speaker 1: we'll talk about it. She was pregnant, she wasn't. We'll
- 22:13Speaker 1: talk about it in a minute. Right now, it's time
- 22:16Speaker 1: for the Nephew. He's here with Run that Prank Back.
- 22:20Speaker 1: It's all right, may Days. Yeah, it's okay. What you
- 22:23Speaker 1: got Derek? Derek? Yeah, you finishy running? Hello? May I
- 22:38Speaker 1: speak to him? Let me tell you something of you.
- 22:41Speaker 1: My name is Wayne. You did my auntie's have yesterday,
- 22:45Speaker 1: and now I don't know what you did. I don't
- 22:47Speaker 1: know what kind of glue you'd use with weaves or whatever.
- 22:49Speaker 1: But my auntie had and fell out in church today.
- 22:53Speaker 1: But I don't I don't even use because I don't
- 22:55Speaker 1: even know why you're coming at me on the side
- 22:57Speaker 1: tip anyway about your auntie. My auntie is, My auntie

- 30:02Speaker 1: Thank you, Nephew. Coming up at the top of the
- 30:04Speaker 1: our entertainment news, Gabby and d Wade new parents will
- 30:10Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. You're listening to the
- 30:14Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, let's start with the
- 30:19Speaker 1: good news. Guys. Congratulations, we gotta say this, Steve, and
- 30:22Speaker 1: these are your friends, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade. They
- 30:26Speaker 1: welcomed their daughter via surrogate. Uh, it's a baby girl.
- 30:30Speaker 1: It's the first child for Gabrielle Union. Congratulations, Well, of
- 30:34Speaker 1: course I am too. Dwyane Wade has three sons and
- 30:38Speaker 1: he also raises his nephew. Gabrielle has struggled with infertility
- 30:42Speaker 1: issues for a very long time and now, through via surrogate,
- 30:46Speaker 1: she has a baby girl. So congratulations again to Gabby
- 30:50Speaker 1: and d Wade. Congratulations day So see that's why she
- 30:55Speaker 1: you didn't know she was pregnant, Steve, That's why because
- 30:58Speaker 1: she was. Because when you have somebody else has the
- 31:02Speaker 1: baby for you. Uh huh. Yeah, this is segregated. What
- 31:05Speaker 1: is it? What is sectional section? And this boys is brilliant.
- 31:16Speaker 1: What about five? Yeah, you're mother basically right. No surrogate
- 31:29Speaker 1: that's when you don't have Yeah, you don't have the
- 31:32Speaker 1: baby in your own body. So again, congratulations going out
- 31:41Speaker 1: to Gabrielle. Way, We're so happy for them, so happy. Yeah,
- 31:47Speaker 1: that's really good news for them, alright. And other entertainment news,
- 31:51Speaker 1: this is really really sad. Uh. The Real talk show
- 31:54Speaker 1: hosts and actress Tamara Maori's where fears were confirmed at
- 31:59Speaker 1: late Thursday. More. Uh, when she found out that her
- 32:02Speaker 1: niece was among the victims who were killed in Wednesday
- 32:04Speaker 1: night's mass shooting in Thousand Oaks, California. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 1: this is really sad. Tamara went public with the police
- 32:11Speaker 1: for information un the whereabouts of her niece, Elena Housley,
- 32:15Speaker 1: who had gone to the Borderline bar with her friends.
- 32:19Speaker 1: She got word of her niece's death from police and
- 32:21Speaker 1: issued a statement saying, our hearts are broken. We just
- 32:25Speaker 1: learned that our Elena was one of the victims of
- 32:28Speaker 1: last night shooting. Elena was an incredible young woman with
- 32:31Speaker 1: so much life ahead of her, and we are devastated
- 32:34Speaker 1: that her life was cut shorts in this manner. Sad, sad, sad.
- 32:39Speaker 1: That is so sad. I know you feel for the
- 32:42Speaker 1: people and you don't know him, but you can only
- 32:45Speaker 1: imagine what the family members are feeling, you know, who
- 32:49Speaker 1: lost someone. I mean, yeah, it's just awful. Degrees of
- 32:55Speaker 1: separation is real, even when with the shooting, like you know,
- 32:59Speaker 1: somebody who knows it's a connection. Many Yeah, really really
- 33:05Speaker 1: sad man going on in this country. I know, you know,
- 33:11Speaker 1: hate and they're happening more frequently now, which is so
- 33:16Speaker 1: sad to say. Steve, I know, I know, I know,
- 33:22Speaker 1: it's like, what do you say. I mean, look, you know,
- 33:27Speaker 1: we we can't let this be normal. We cannot Well,
- 33:30Speaker 1: you know, the head of a radio show, you supposed
- 33:33Speaker 1: to say all of these, be able to say comforting
- 33:37Speaker 1: words and provide and it's just days what you know. Look,
- 33:41Speaker 1: it's it's just jacked up. It's jacked up sometimes in
- 33:46Speaker 1: any words for this. This this makes no sense, makes
- 33:50Speaker 1: no sense. It's senseless. Yeah, yes, I would just ask
- 33:57Speaker 1: anybody that wants to kill theirselves, you know, get yourself
- 34:01Speaker 1: some help, get yourself some real help, call suicide highlight,
- 34:06Speaker 1: but don't walk into being take nobody else life and
- 34:09Speaker 1: didn't take yours. Innocent people killing innocent Yeah, all right, Steve,
- 34:17Speaker 1: it's time for our trip. Thank you very much, everybody.
- 34:22Speaker 1: This is Entrepath News. Detectives are still looking for the
- 34:25Speaker 1: y as to where concerns that massacre the night before
- 34:28Speaker 1: last and a thousand oaks of California bar Thirteen people
- 34:31Speaker 1: lost their lives, including a hero sheriff's sergeant, and the
- 34:35Speaker 1: alleged shooter was a twenty eight year old farmer marine
- 34:38Speaker 1: named Ian Long, who would already say killed himself eighteen
- 34:41Speaker 1: others were left injured. According to the pentagon Ian, Long
- 34:44Speaker 1: served one tour of duty in Afghanistan, and even though
- 34:47Speaker 1: he was disciplined in two thousand nine for two incidents
- 34:50Speaker 1: of shoplifting, he was not dismissed. In fact, he was
- 34:52Speaker 1: later given an honorable discharge. Balance is still being counted
- 34:56Speaker 1: in at least three elections where the results are still
- 34:58Speaker 1: too close to call. Artist governors and Senate races. They're
- 35:02Speaker 1: still for grabs, very very both of those races within
- 35:05Speaker 1: that one percentage point difference. Democrats. Stacy Abrams is still
- 35:09Speaker 1: hoping for a recount. Her Republican opponent, Brian Kemp is
- 35:12Speaker 1: already claiming victory though and has just quit his job.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Are not there for her. I certainly respect the hard
- 35:18Speaker 1: fault race that that she ran um and but that's
- 35:22Speaker 1: the decision that she's gonna have to make. As Georgia's
- 35:25Speaker 1: Secretary State, Brian Kemp was in charge of refereeing the
- 35:27Speaker 1: vote in his very own election against Abrams. He's accused
- 35:30Speaker 1: of sitting on some fifty three thousand voter applications, about
- 35:33Speaker 1: seventy of them from African Americans, and also purging thousands
- 35:37Speaker 1: from the voter rolls. This is before the election. Former
- 35:40Speaker 1: President Jimmy Carter asked Kemp in a public letter to
- 35:43Speaker 1: drop out of the race because of that semi conflict
- 35:45Speaker 1: of interest, but he didn't. Stacy Abrams also has accused
- 35:48Speaker 1: Kemp of improperly using his post to influence the outcome
- 35:51Speaker 1: of the election, and again is demanding that state officials
- 35:54Speaker 1: count every single vote. Again, that race has not been
- 35:57Speaker 1: called for either. Candidate. Santa Chuck Schumer sound the alarm
- 36:00Speaker 1: him over the president's post election moves. Trump essentially fired
- 36:03Speaker 1: the U S Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, right after the
- 36:05Speaker 1: GOP lost control of the House, then skipped over Deputy A.
- 36:09Speaker 1: G rod Ros Rosenstein, which is very not really what
- 36:12Speaker 1: she's supposed to do, and then appointed Trump loyalist Matthew Whittaker,
- 36:16Speaker 1: who was his chief of staff, to oversee the Mulla
- 36:19Speaker 1: Russian election meddling probe. Shuma says that this guy Whittaker
- 36:22Speaker 1: should recuse himself because he wrote an op ed piece
- 36:25Speaker 1: and made comments on CNN advocating the end of the
- 36:28Speaker 1: Mueller investigation and even discussing how he'd do it. They
- 36:31Speaker 1: should not be able to end it. They should not
- 36:33Speaker 1: be able to limit it. They should not be able
- 36:35Speaker 1: to interfere with Mueller going forward and doing what he
- 36:40Speaker 1: thinks is the right thing. So far, the Muller probe
- 36:42Speaker 1: has produced thirty two criminal charges and guilty pleas from
- 36:45Speaker 1: four former Trump aids. According to a federal appeals court
- 36:48Speaker 1: ruling this week. In California, efforts to end ex President
- 36:51Speaker 1: Obama's doctor program being put on hold even though the
- 36:54Speaker 1: administration was trying to get them gone. Former First Lady
- 36:57Speaker 1: Michelle Obamas sooner released memoir called is Trump a misogynists
- 37:01Speaker 1: who stark Hillary Clinton? And says that Trump's constant accusations
- 37:04Speaker 1: that her son wasn't born here brought out the wing
- 37:06Speaker 1: nuts and put her family in danger. Today National Eating
- 37:09Speaker 1: Healthy Day, Okay, maybe they meant eating hardy Dad. Find
- 37:14Speaker 1: out if uncle Steve smart than his nephew. We'll be
- 37:16Speaker 1: back twenty minutes after the hour and Steve Harvey Rod Show.
- 37:20Speaker 1: You're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, Steve, here we are.

- 38:38Speaker 1: forgoten how it felt before the world felt. Okay, it's
- 38:43Speaker 1: such a deal, you know, we move on. It's just
- 38:46Speaker 1: I forgotten. Can you just let it go with me? Jesus? Okay, hello, Hello,
- 39:00Speaker 1: you don't have to scream them right here. Yeah, you
- 39:04Speaker 1: call more than I should report your hand. Yeah, I'm okay,
- 39:12Speaker 1: it's good. I'm told it. Yes, let it go? What now?
- 39:23Speaker 1: How I'm fine? I mean, what it's didn't let it
- 39:31Speaker 1: go on, Dale, please, it really is answer. I love it.
- 39:47Speaker 1: You must have gotten that um that idea from your
- 39:50Speaker 1: own answering service, because when you call Jay and he's
- 39:53Speaker 1: not there, yes, that's what you get. That is funny.

- 40:25Speaker 1: That sounds that sounds funny performing on stage with your friends.
- 40:29Speaker 1: All Right, we gotta go now, we'll be back and
- 40:31Speaker 1: talk about election news. Update from Georgia and Florida right
- 40:38Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Republican Brian Camp resigned yesterday as Georgia's Secretary of State.
- 40:47Speaker 1: This is the day after his campaign said he had
- 40:49Speaker 1: captured enough votes to become governor. Democratic candidate Stacy Abrams
- 40:54Speaker 1: will not concede, and we here at the Steve Harvey
- 40:58Speaker 1: Morning Show support her campaign whole heartedly. She's demanding that
- 41:02Speaker 1: state officials count every single vote now. If a runoff
- 41:06Speaker 1: is necessary, it will take place December four. All right,
- 41:10Speaker 1: I'm not understanding. What did you say that retired from well,
- 41:15Speaker 1: you know, he was Georgia's secretary of state, so he
- 41:17Speaker 1: resigned that job so he could be full time governor
- 41:21Speaker 1: because he feels like he won. Yeah, he feels like that.
- 41:25Speaker 1: But yeah, and Stacy Abrams has not conceded yet, and
- 41:30Speaker 1: she says she will not until every single vote is counted. Period.
- 41:35Speaker 1: I hope they runoff and he didn't quit that job, right,
- 41:43Speaker 1: that's like misreading that lottery ticket. Everybody. I just want

- 44:36Speaker 1: because you ain't got no damn turking money. Maybe about
- 44:43Speaker 1: one turkey? Can't give everybody slices? No, I got no.
- 44:50Speaker 1: I got a better idea, probably Why don't you make
- 44:53Speaker 1: a large pan addressing and give everybody spool Gus Man
- 45:03Speaker 1: I knew, I knew he was French. So think about that.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Brian camp down and Georgia I said that all right.
- 45:25Speaker 1: Up next, it is a nephew with a prank phone call.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 45:32Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour. Right about
- 45:34Speaker 1: four minutes after, it's my strawberry letter for today, the
- 45:37Speaker 1: subject do you think he can stop cheating? But right
- 45:42Speaker 1: now the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 45:44Speaker 1: What you got for is enough? King? Prank? Make a
- 45:47Speaker 1: wish ministry. It's nice, you know, pop, right, it's very nice.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Make a wish and you want to go to Disney.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Huh run that new Baptist. This is Terrence Man, help
- 46:11Speaker 1: you please, brother Terence. Yeah, how you doing? I got
- 46:15Speaker 1: your uh your number? You you with the over the church?
- 46:19Speaker 1: You want to make a wish ministry? Yes, I am
- 46:21Speaker 1: i'mna help you. Well, looks am, I'm I'm actually uh
- 46:26Speaker 1: I'm I'm I'm terminally ill, brother, brother Terrence, and uh,
- 46:31Speaker 1: I don't you know as far as what the doctors
- 46:34Speaker 1: tell me, it could be six months, another year, But
- 46:38Speaker 1: I know my time here is definitely limited, you know when.
- 46:43Speaker 1: I'm sorry to hear that, but we're definitely here to
- 46:46Speaker 1: help you out with whatever you need or whatever we
- 46:49Speaker 1: can help you with. So what can we do for you? Well?
- 46:52Speaker 1: You know, I I truly believe that sometimes people have
- 46:56Speaker 1: you know, I've seen one of the mold movies they
- 46:58Speaker 1: got with it Gotta bucket list or whatever he called it.
- 47:00Speaker 1: You know what, people trying to do things before they
- 47:03Speaker 1: leave here. I guess I'm just sitting around trying to
- 47:06Speaker 1: figure out what I could do and what I wanted
- 47:08Speaker 1: to do before I left this world and went on
- 47:11Speaker 1: to what He has for me next. You know, I
- 47:14Speaker 1: don't believe in doing anything unless it's preyed on first.
- 47:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, if you don't mind, maybe you can, uh,
- 47:23Speaker 1: you know, before I can tell you my wish. We
- 47:25Speaker 1: we prayed that the wishould come true. You you you
- 47:27Speaker 1: you know doing anything like that. Oh no, I don't
- 47:30Speaker 1: mind praying. That's what we're here. Bow your head with
- 47:34Speaker 1: y yes, yes, sir, is your head by yr, sir,
- 47:37Speaker 1: yr sir. Here other God, we come to you in
- 47:40Speaker 1: the umeless way. We know how Lord, we asked you
- 47:44Speaker 1: to touch this young man and every which way we hurt,
- 47:48Speaker 1: and then we asked you to deliver him for whatever
- 47:51Speaker 1: is going on with him and let him know that
- 47:53Speaker 1: we the church is here to help him with whatever
- 47:56Speaker 1: his needs is in his last days. And Jesus name,
- 48:00Speaker 1: I pray, say amen with it's gonna do it here?
- 48:06Speaker 1: Now you a member of the church here of Newton,
- 48:09Speaker 1: Well I was a member. I still consider myself. Remember
- 48:13Speaker 1: it's just been quite sometimes probably over a year, and
- 48:16Speaker 1: I after two years, as I've been able to come,
- 48:18Speaker 1: you know, through to my my illness. But definitely I
- 48:22Speaker 1: will remember that. Well, that's all right. We're not worried
- 48:25Speaker 1: about all that. We're just here to take care of
- 48:28Speaker 1: your last and final wish. That's what our ministry is for.
- 48:32Speaker 1: You know. We helped people with with with anything they need,
- 48:36Speaker 1: you know, like that, what what what all I mean
- 48:38Speaker 1: when when people call them want thing? What all of
- 48:41Speaker 1: you you all? What all of y'all helped him with? Well,
- 48:44Speaker 1: we've helped them with the rent. Uh, take them to
- 48:48Speaker 1: the store, help them with a utility bill, come out
- 48:52Speaker 1: and cut the grass, anything like that they just can't do.
- 48:56Speaker 1: Take them to the doctor's appointment. Anything we'd like to
- 48:59Speaker 1: help them with, we do exactly. Then Okay, well I
- 49:03Speaker 1: I pretty much got those things taken care of. I
- 49:06Speaker 1: think what I'd like to do between you and and
- 49:10Speaker 1: and myself bother day. And I've never told anyone what
- 49:13Speaker 1: I'm about to tell you. I've never been with a
- 49:17Speaker 1: with with a woman. I'm you know, I'm thirty eight,
- 49:22Speaker 1: but I've never been with a woman. Well, I guess
- 49:27Speaker 1: that might be a blessing you might you might be here.
- 49:29Speaker 1: That's a good thing. Well, you know, but sometimes you know,
- 49:33Speaker 1: I give before I leave. I give. That's a desire
- 49:36Speaker 1: that I have. And and and uh, what I wanted
- 49:39Speaker 1: to ask you was there is a lady there at
- 49:42Speaker 1: the church and before I leave, I think that's the
- 49:47Speaker 1: woman that I would actually like to to be with. Well,
- 49:52Speaker 1: I don't know if Make a Wish Ministry can support
- 49:55Speaker 1: that kind of stuff, but go ahead, let me hear.
- 49:58Speaker 1: Okay that the lady that I'm I'm actually interested in actually, uh,
- 50:03Speaker 1: she works at the church too. We'll not see. She's
- 50:07Speaker 1: kind of a tall what she's about five nine, and
- 50:10Speaker 1: she's probably about a size eight, beautiful long leagues man
- 50:15Speaker 1: and and and and sandy type of hair, sandy color,
- 50:19Speaker 1: sandy brown man and I mean she looked like caraman.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Hold on a minute, what's her name? I think her
- 50:28Speaker 1: name Linda? Now hold on, that's my wife? What you mean?
- 50:32Speaker 1: Go ahead and see? Wait wait wait wait wait wait
- 50:34Speaker 1: wait sending to your wife? Yeah, that's my wife? You sorr?
- 50:38Speaker 1: What do you mean? Listen? Y'all are ministry now. Now,
- 50:43Speaker 1: if y'all supposed to be taking care of people on
- 50:45Speaker 1: Make a Wish and and taking care of what they
- 50:47Speaker 1: want before they leave this world, if that's my wish,
- 50:50Speaker 1: what is the problem listening here? You didn't cross every
- 50:53Speaker 1: line there was about this man, so I don't give
- 50:55Speaker 1: a damn about it. I'm you're talking about sleeping with
- 50:58Speaker 1: my If I see, I'm gonna do something to you.
- 51:01Speaker 1: They ain't gonna even be able to recognize you. So
- 51:03Speaker 1: with the you talking about missing with my wife, son
- 51:06Speaker 1: of a call, missing liner myself and see if you
- 51:09Speaker 1: know I have a problem, woun't helping me make my
- 51:11Speaker 1: wish come true? Go right there and calling you won't
- 51:13Speaker 1: call nobody else. That would be the last call you make.
- 51:18Speaker 1: I thought y'all were here to relieve people so they
- 51:22Speaker 1: can enjoy themselves, devote they leave this world. You talk
- 51:26Speaker 1: about sleeping with my wife? Are you crazy? But but
- 51:29Speaker 1: if I'm gonna leave here, ain't nobody gonna know? But
- 51:31Speaker 1: you want to hunt. I don't care if you die.
- 51:34Speaker 1: I don't care. You ain't sleeping with my wife and
- 51:37Speaker 1: your food with her. You probably gonna go ahead and
- 51:39Speaker 1: die quicker than you need to. I thought this was
- 51:42Speaker 1: a ministry. I don't think you now you won't. They're
- 51:45Speaker 1: telling me about dying. You're supposed to be a ministry
- 51:47Speaker 1: that to help people before they leave. Word what it is.
- 51:50Speaker 1: But you're talking about sleeping with my wife. You got
- 51:53Speaker 1: an illness, but something must be wrong with your rain
- 51:56Speaker 1: talking about missing with man. What ain't nobody even know?
- 51:58Speaker 1: I think with your wife wants something gonna there? Ain't
- 52:00Speaker 1: gonna people the tool, y'all. At least you would have
- 52:02Speaker 1: helped me before I left. No, I can't help you
- 52:05Speaker 1: with nothing. And let me tell you something. I'm not
- 52:07Speaker 1: the preacher, I'm not the past I'm not the deacon,
- 52:10Speaker 1: I'm not none of them. But if you mentioned my wife,
- 52:12Speaker 1: you're gonna know who I am. I'm gonna be the
- 52:14Speaker 1: undertake er. Do you understand? I hear what you saying?
- 52:17Speaker 1: But I got one more thing I need to tell
- 52:19Speaker 1: you about who I am. Who asked you? Isn't it
- 52:22Speaker 1: to go ahead? He let me? This is from the
- 52:26Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your wife lind me the phrase
- 52:31Speaker 1: show y'all tell me you ain't even recording this is
- 52:41Speaker 1: it's recorded. Every less bit of hammers pass ain't gonna here.
- 52:47Speaker 1: This is? Oh god, I got one more thing. What
- 52:54Speaker 1: is the baddest and I mean the radio show in
- 52:57Speaker 1: the land, Steve Harving Morning. You know you know you
- 53:07Speaker 1: know you're about to leave his world? You pay all
- 53:12Speaker 1: I wanted that man wife for I leave I go.

- 53:23Speaker 1: make a wish from you can help him before it's him.
- 53:31Speaker 1: I told you all the boy ain't brilliant. I said
- 53:34Speaker 1: that last hour. But he is the King of pranks.

- 54:22Speaker 1: letter subject. Do you think he can stop chading? Right
- 54:25Speaker 1: after this? You're listening to the Steve Morning Show. Alright, guys,
- 54:30Speaker 1: before we get to today's strawberry Letter. I cannot believe
- 54:34Speaker 1: how amazing the studio smells today. Everybody take a big sniff.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Yes it doesn't smells good, right, yeah, lavender, and but
- 54:45Speaker 1: this time it's lemon fresh pine salt. Uh. It just
- 54:48Speaker 1: makes me so happy when I come in here and
- 54:50Speaker 1: smell that. You know, I can sing and dance all
- 54:53Speaker 1: day with this, you know, every time they clean. Yeah,
- 54:56Speaker 1: with pine salt. The scent just makes a place smells
- 54:58Speaker 1: so amazing and it smells really clean in here, whether
- 55:02Speaker 1: it's the lemon flesh fresh or the lavender clean. Like
- 55:05Speaker 1: you said, Steve, I love them all. But you know
- 55:07Speaker 1: what I was thinking, I wonder why there isn't a
- 55:11Speaker 1: strawberry sense. Think about it? Thank you? Yeah, okay, maybe
- 55:19Speaker 1: that should be the next pine salt sent. Okay, strawberry shine. Okay,
- 55:23Speaker 1: that would definitely be clean and it would be my way. Okay,
- 55:27Speaker 1: thank you. Fine solid smells so good thing you can
- 55:30Speaker 1: clean because you show. Okay, thank you, Steve. All Right,
- 55:38Speaker 1: today it is time for today's Strawberry Letter. And if
- 55:40Speaker 1: you need advice on relationships, on dating, works, parenting and more,
- 55:48Speaker 1: please so song op so alright to bring your strawberry
- 56:08Speaker 1: letters to Steve Harvey f M and Strawberry. I like
- 56:13Speaker 1: the smith, love it all as so. Alright, y'all hold tight,
- 56:24Speaker 1: we got it for you. It's times Strawberry letter. Alright. Subject.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Do you think he can stop cheating there, Stephen Shirley,
- 56:31Speaker 1: I can trust. I can't trust anybody these days, so
- 56:34Speaker 1: I'm coming to you for advice. Four years ago, my
- 56:38Speaker 1: husband and I were married and we relocated to the
- 56:41Speaker 1: city he grew up in so he could be closer
- 56:43Speaker 1: to his family. I didn't know anyone in the city,
- 56:46Speaker 1: but my best friend lived thirty minutes away, so that
- 56:49Speaker 1: was good enough for me because she came to visit
- 56:51Speaker 1: me often. A year after I got married, I got pregnant,
- 56:55Speaker 1: and that's when my husband started cheating on me. I
- 56:59Speaker 1: started getting random phone calls on my cell phone and
- 57:02Speaker 1: our home phone from women saying that they had slept
- 57:05Speaker 1: with my husband and that he's telling everyone that he's
- 57:08Speaker 1: single again. After I had my baby, I left my
- 57:11Speaker 1: husband for four months and went to stay with my
- 57:14Speaker 1: parents so I could focus on being a new mom
- 57:16Speaker 1: and have some peace. While I was in my hometown,
- 57:20Speaker 1: I had an affair with my boyfriend from college. It
- 57:23Speaker 1: happened twice, and I felt terrible, and so did he.
- 57:27Speaker 1: I turned to my best friend for advice on how
- 57:29Speaker 1: to deal with my affair. I figured she would help
- 57:32Speaker 1: me sort everything out. Well that was not the case.
- 57:36Speaker 1: Instead of consoling me, she hit me with a whammy.
- 57:41Speaker 1: She told me that she had been sleeping with my
- 57:45Speaker 1: husband since I left town, and she is now pregnant
- 57:49Speaker 1: with his baby. She said that since I cheated on
- 57:53Speaker 1: my husband, she felt it was okay to come clean
- 57:56Speaker 1: about the affair. Of course, my husband denies that his child,
- 58:00Speaker 1: but he did admit to having sex with my best
- 58:03Speaker 1: friend many times. Now he's now he is begging me
- 58:10Speaker 1: to move home so we can work things out. I
- 58:13Speaker 1: have drafted divorce papers, but I still love this man
- 58:17Speaker 1: and my child needs a father. What do you think
- 58:19Speaker 1: I should do? Do you think he can really stop cheating? Please? Help?
- 58:25Speaker 1: All right, this is a decision, of course, only you
- 58:28Speaker 1: can make. But let's look at the facts here. Uh,
- 58:32Speaker 1: your husband slept with random women who called your cell
- 58:35Speaker 1: phone and called you at home. Uh, your husband was
- 58:38Speaker 1: telling everyone that he was single again. Uh. You went
- 58:43Speaker 1: to your best friend for comfort and found out that
- 58:45Speaker 1: your husband was cheating with her. And this is the
- 58:48Speaker 1: worst one of all. Your sank called so called best
- 58:51Speaker 1: friend is now pregnant by your husband. Your husband is
- 58:55Speaker 1: denying it, of course, but a DNA test will clarify
- 58:58Speaker 1: that up. And yes, you're right, Um, you know you
- 59:02Speaker 1: you still love this man and your child doesn't need
- 59:04Speaker 1: a father. But you got to think about how you
- 59:06Speaker 1: felt and how all of this has ruined your family
- 59:09Speaker 1: and and what this has done to you before you
- 59:12Speaker 1: think about taking him back. The trust is broken in
- 59:15Speaker 1: this relationship. You no longer have a best friend because
- 59:18Speaker 1: your best friend is pregnant with your husband. This is
- 59:21Speaker 1: a true, true mess right here. You and your child
- 59:25Speaker 1: deserve better. Uh. You know it's up to you if
- 59:29Speaker 1: you want to stay in this situation. I mean, if
- 59:31Speaker 1: you think you want to fight for in salvage your
- 59:33Speaker 1: your your marriage. But this is a long road to
- 59:36Speaker 1: get back to the trust and to to the love
- 59:39Speaker 1: and all of that. I mean, counseling, Jesus, all of
- 59:42Speaker 1: the above you're gonna need if you think you want
- 59:43Speaker 1: to stay in this marriage. Steve, this raggedy mess say
- 59:48Speaker 1: didn't really worth getting in. I'm gonna just be honest
- 59:52Speaker 1: with you, because both of these people, my husband I'm married,
- 59:57Speaker 1: relocated to the city grew up in and so we
- 59:59Speaker 1: could be close to his family right there? Why y'all
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: moving so this man can be closer to his family?
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: What's wrong with him? He got a family? Now, you know? No,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I don't know, No man I gotta move back because
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: I missed my mom and there, man, come home. You
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: ain't know nobody in the city but your best friend
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: little thirty minutes away. So that's good enough for me
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: because she came to visit off. Yeah, after you got married,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: you got pregnant, that's when your husband started cheating. That's
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: when you found out. That's when you found out he
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: was cheap. I started getting random phone calls on my
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: cell phone and our home phone. Now right here, hold up,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: how do they get your cell phone and your home how?
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: That don't make no sense? Man, That's the part I
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: don't understand how they get your phone though, That they
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: got his phone and looked through his phone. He got
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: m That's the only way I could think about. Then
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: some women saying that they had slept with your husband,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: and he's telling everybody he's singing that's cause he's back.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: He's back in town. He ain't get back in town
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: for his family. He got back in town for all
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: the tricks. That's who he needed to get closer to.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I gotta get back over here. What he tricks? He
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: that's funny, said tricks. This ain't boy, my mama, you
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you ain't heard from his mama. Since you've been back,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: he ain't been over that one time because he's been
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: over them. Tricks house, tricky, tricky. Yeah, didn't you had
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: your baby? You left your husband for more months for
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: foremost went to stay with your parents. And then guess
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: what you did? You had the fair with your boyfriend
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: from college. It happened twice and I felt terrible about it.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: So did he? So did who the boyfriend from? Gee?
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: That's a lot back. All right, all right, we'll have
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: part two if Steve's response to twenty three after the
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: hour subject do you think he can stop cheating? We'll
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: be back with more right after this. You're listening to show? Hey,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: did you note it over? People listen to music when
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: they clean. I love coming home from a long day
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: to a clean house that smells amazing. However, not every
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: clean is the same, so you can tell if your
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: space was cleaned by somebody who was having fun and
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: probably jamming to some classics while doing it. What is
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: the cleaner that works on floors, sinks, counters, and tubs
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: and comes in some amazing sense like lavender and lemon fresh?
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: You guessed it, Pine salt, so grand baa pine saw.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Let your local retailer and clean your way. Alright, Steve,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter subject do you
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: think he can stop cheating? And this woman and her
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: boyfriend her husband got married four years ago. I went
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: back to the city he grew up in so he
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: could be closer to his family, which, in essence we
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: found out he wanted to be closer to them. Tricks
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: year after y'all got married, you got pregnant. That's when
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: you say your husband started cheating. You cheating the whole time.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: You start getting random phone calls on your cell phone
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: and your home phone, all these women telling you they're
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: sleeping with him, and he on the streets talking about
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: he's singing. That's because that's how he was at. After that,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: you had your baby, You left your husband for foe
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: monst what stay with your parents so you could focus
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: on being a new mom and have some peace. While
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I was in my hometown of having a fair with
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: my boyfriend from college, it happened twice and I felt horrible,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: and so did he. No, he didn't all you feel
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: nothing at horrible. God, this is what he's started crying.

- 1:04:51Speaker 1: far in thistally, I'm trying to figure out if you
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: can too see it ain't just to do. I turned
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: to my best friend for advice on how to deal
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: with my affair. I figured you to help me sort
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: everything out. You turn your friend told your friend you
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: was having an affair. Well, that wasn't the case. Instead
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: of consoling me, she hit me with a woman. She
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: told me she' been't sleeping with my husband since I
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: left town and she's now pregnant with his baby. She
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: said that since I cheated on my husband, she felt
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: it was okay to come clean about the fam. Girl.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: I know we're friends and everything and we're cool, but

- 1:05:56Speaker 1: admitt to having sexual my best friend minute times. Now
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: he's begging me to move back home so we can
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: work things out. For what I have drafted divorce papers.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: But I still love this man, and my child need
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: a father. The child still go ahead of father. The
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: question is do you want him? Though? He's gonna have
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: to be the father. He might not be the daddy,
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: but he the father father. What do you think I
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: should do? Do you think he can really stop cheating?
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Well he ain't so far. The cheater always a cheater.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: He ain't come up with no damn nothing. He's been

- 1:06:47Speaker 1: But that's what she said, and it says in the letter.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Now he's begging me to move home so we can
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: work things out. Because hungry. Do you think he can
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: really stop cheating? Well? Can you? Because you cheat? It
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: to think she's you don't think she stopped. She didn't
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: get pregnant by her college guy. Well, it's not in
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: the letter. We can only go by what's in the letter.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: I don't know how long ago they lived together, but
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: she might not know. You ain't no Walgreens in no town,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: ain't it no? You know? But when at about stopped, well,
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: the wife isn't isn't Well, she didn't say she was

- 1:09:34Speaker 1: that's one for each month. That's sad, that's sad, but
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: so true. That's for married that's six bucks. What I missed?
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: All right, we gotta get out of here. Steve Email

- 1:10:21Speaker 1: now I want you, Steve, to name something you could
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: do for the first time and then die. What what
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: I could do for the first time and didn't die?
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Like eight huh huh. Yeah, like this eighty two year
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: old woman. She voted for the first time, she was

- 1:11:37Speaker 1: death right after. Uhuh, so it makes it's got to
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: be something really good. Oh, it has to be that

- 1:13:08Speaker 1: I wanted to see Flint. All right, here's another question.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Stop saying she looks great for her age. You know
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: our girl, Angela Bassett. I think she just turned sixty
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: and she does look fantastic. Um, she says she wants
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: people to stop saying that she looks great for her age.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Just say she looks great. Just say she looks great. So, so,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: what are you, guys great at? You know, like, what
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: are you great at something? I mean for your age?

- 1:15:32Speaker 1: a forty nine year old, backing it up by claiming
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: that doctors told him at his last physical that he
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: has the body of a forty nine year old. Okay,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: So his argument is that if transgender people are allowed
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: to get their gender change legally, he should be allowed
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: to change the date on his birth certificate. He reflects
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: his self identity. All right, So what Steve uh birthday overhead?

- 1:28:01Speaker 1: thank you, pimpin. We'll be for this is what is
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: sounds like whim pimps quair. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, all right, let's start with the good news. Guys. Congratulations,
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: we gotta say this, Steve, and these are your friends,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade. They welcomed their daughter via surrogateate. Uh,
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: it's a baby girl. It's the first child for Gabrielle Union. Congratulations. Well,
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: of course I am too. Dwyane Wade has three sons
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: and he also raises his nephew. Gabrielle has struggled with
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: infertility issues for a very long time, and now through
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: via surrogate, she has a baby girl. So congratulations again
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: to Gabby and d Wade. Congratulations. Way, so see that's
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: why she you didn't know she was pregnant, Steve, That's
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: why because she was Yeah, because you have somebody else
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: has the baby. Uh huh. Yeah, this is segregated. What
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: is it? What is sectional? And this boys is brilliant?
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: What about five? Yeah, mother, basicly no surrogate. That's when
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: you don't have Yeah, you don't have the baby in
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: your own body. So again, congratulations going out to Gabrielle. Way.
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: We're so happy for them, so happy. Yeah, that's really
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: good news for them. Alright, and other entertainment news, this
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: is really really sad. Uh. The Real talk show hosts
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: and actress Tamara Maori's worst fears were confirmed late Thursday morning,
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: UH when she found out that her niece was among
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: the victims who were killed in Wednesday night's mass shooting
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: in Thousand Oaks, California. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, this is really sad.
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: Tamara went public with the police for information on the
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: whereabouts of her niece, Elena Housley, who had gone to
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: the Borderline bar with her friends. She got word of
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: her niece's death from police and issued a statement saying,
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: our hearts are broken. We just learned that our Elena
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: was one of the victims of last night shooting. Elena
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: was an incredible young woman with so much life ahead
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: of her, and we are devastated that her life was
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: cut short in this manner. Sad, sad, sad. That is
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: so sad. I know, you feel for the people and
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: you don't know him, but you can only imagine what
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: the family members are feeling, you know, who lost someone.
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, it's just degrees of separation, is real,
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: even when with the shooting, like you know, somebody who knows, Yeah,
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: it's a connection. Many Yeah, really really sad. Man going
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: on in this country. I know, you know, hate and
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: they're happening more frequently now, which is so sad to say, Steve,
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know, it's like, what do
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: you say? I mean, Look, you know, we we can't
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: let this be normal. We cannot well you know, the
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: head of a radio show, you supposed to say all
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: of these, be able to say confiding words and provide
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: and it's just days what you know. Look, it's it's
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: just jacked up sometimes in any words for this this,
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: this makes no sense, makes no sense. It's senseless. Yeah.
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: I would just ask anybody that wants to kill theirselves,
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: get yourself some help, get yourself some real help. Call
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: suicide highlights, but don't walk into being and take nobody
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: else life and didn't take yours. All right, coming up
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: next to our last break of the day, and Steve
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: will have some closing remarks right after this. You're listening
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: to show all right, here we are, Steve, last break
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: of the day, last break of the week. It's been
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: a good week, it's been a trying week. Our thoughts
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: and prayers still go out to the people in Thousand Oaks, California,
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: and for this country this nation right now. You know,
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: we're in a we're in a position where we have
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: to start doing something. We have to be a little
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: bit more proactive instead of weit no knees tragedies to happen.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: You know, we gotta put some laws and some policies
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: in place that do I know exactly what that is? No,
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: I know something has to be done. We're too free
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: in this country. We are free to do whatever we
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: want to do to anybody. And then we got the
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: nerve that after we do it, we have rights. That's
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: the alarming thing to me. After you do what you
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: want to do to a group of people, you can
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: mass murder people, and then we have the audacity to
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: turn around and give you rights when those victims did
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: not have a right. No victim has a right. They
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: young people were sitting there trying to enjoy themselves. People
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: go out to Vegas at a concert to enjoy themselves.
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: People go to movies to enjoy themselves. People go to
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: church to enjoy themselves. And then somebody comes in and
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: takes away all of that. They life, they dreams, their families, hopes,
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: They cause so much misery and then we turn around
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: and give them saying people some rights. That's crazy to me.
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: You don't deserve any rights when you snuff out a
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: person's life. What what? What? What right do you do
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: you need? I don't understand that. Well. With that being said,
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: let me offer you a bit of inspiration. Let me
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: flip it a little bit, turn this thing around on
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: completely another subject, because I just want to do something
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: to inspire people. Do you know that you can become
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: as successful as you want by simply changing your attitude.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: If you can change your mind set, if you can
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: just change it, you can change everything about you. Now,
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: you say to a Steve, you're making it sounds so simple.
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: The way to do it is simple. It's complicated. When
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: you don't see it as simple for you, you then
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: automatically complicated. I was saying, uh the other night to
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: my studio audience. One of the things that enable me
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: to get to where I am and most people that
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: I know who are successful, is that they if incorporated
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: the true essence of what faith is. And let me
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: share that with you. Here's the simplicity of it all.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: Do you know that in order to be as successful
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: as you can be, you're gonna have to believe in
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: something that you can't see. You have to believe in
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: something that you can't see. That's how you truly get
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: to where God wants you to be, because faith is
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: a belief in things that you cannot see. And it's
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: hard to get the average person to understand that. With Steve,
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: if I don't see it, how can I believe in it?
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: That's what faith is. Faith is asking God for something,
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: not knowing how that is going to happen, but believing
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: that it will. Example, God, I want to buy a home.
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: I want to buy my family a home. Well, guess what.
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: You may not have the credit, you may not have
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: the down payment, or you may not even have a
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: job that substantiates a mortgage payment. But that ain't what
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: you did though. You ask God for something, and you
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: ask him for something that you don't see how you
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: can do. But if you just get out of God's
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: way and just do what he asked you to do,
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: faith is a belief in things that you cannot see.
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: How are you not gonna give you a home? You
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: think God don't have enough sense to know that you
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: don't have the down payment. You think that God is
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: so out of touch that he don't know your credit
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: is messed up. You think God don't know that you
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: don't have a job that seems adequate enough. You don't
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: think God can give you those simple things right there.
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: It's just three things, some credit, a job, and a savings.
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: But I dare you to try it. This is the
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: same God that made heaven and earth in six days.
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: How he can't give you them three little things. He
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: made all this in six days, but he can't give
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: you them three things. You gotta up your faith. You
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: have got to up your faith. If you up your faith,
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: you began the transformation that you've always wanted. It's not
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: a secret. It's been there for the taking the whole time.
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: You've always heard that a man is as he's thinking.
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: You've always heard faith without works is dead, and you've
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: always heard that faith is a belief in things that
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: you cannot see. Those are very simple things, but if
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: you apply, you can begin to change the trajectory of
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: your life immediately. That's how I got here, That's how
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: you can get wherever you want to be, And that's
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: how I'm will go further because I believe that God
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: is going to do something for me that I've asked for,
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: and I don't have any idea how it's gonna get that.
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: I don't have any idea. I really don't. I really don't,
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: but I don't have to. I believe in stuff that
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: I cannot see. Those are my closing room or drop
