- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn You haven't got to turn them out
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn the water the water go. Come, come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your thing, I shall well a good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, Come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only, Steve Harvey, I got a radio show me.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Somebody sent me an email one day that, you know,
- 2:16Speaker 1: kind of a nasty little email, you know, I think
- 2:19Speaker 1: I said it wants to before Steve Harvey trying to
- 2:21Speaker 1: be a preacher. Man, I'm so far from being a preacher. Man,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I can't even tell you. But what I am trying
- 2:29Speaker 1: to do is share information. Now. I understand how haters work,
- 2:32Speaker 1: and I understand how the devil works. Believe me, I
- 2:35Speaker 1: do you know? Sometimes even heat, the devil surprises me
- 2:43Speaker 1: at the level and the angles of attack they use,
- 2:47Speaker 1: you know, which, I go, wow, man, I didn't I
- 2:49Speaker 1: didn't see that one. Oh that was pretty slick. I
- 2:51Speaker 1: gotta get credit on that. We try to get me,
- 2:54Speaker 1: but every time you try to get me, I get saved.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I get saved every time, man, because because God got me,
- 3:04Speaker 1: God got some angels camped around me. That's what my
- 3:08Speaker 1: mom used to always say as Sunday school teacher. Never
- 3:10Speaker 1: really understood it, but you know when I was growing
- 3:13Speaker 1: up as a kid, but I got it. Now. He
- 3:14Speaker 1: got some angels around me. And angels come into form
- 3:18Speaker 1: sometimes of people, people who pull your coat to this,
- 3:22Speaker 1: or introduce you to that, or reveal some information to
- 3:25Speaker 1: you like this. He got them all around me. So see,
- 3:30Speaker 1: having a relationship with God has been beneficial to me, y'all.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It's not just that what he gives to me, but
- 3:41Speaker 1: what he protects me from. And you know, some some
- 3:46Speaker 1: people wonder, well, if you were God, why he letting
- 3:48Speaker 1: people do that to you. Now, that's not how it works. See,
- 3:52Speaker 1: there's two forces in this world, as good and as evil.
- 3:55Speaker 1: And if you succumb to good, that's what you become,
- 3:58Speaker 1: that's what you do. But everybody don't succumb to good.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Some people succumb to evil. Some people's mission is to hate,
- 4:05Speaker 1: to destroy, to tear down, and so that forces at
- 4:10Speaker 1: work in this world too, And when that force comes
- 4:12Speaker 1: up against me, what God never promised me that I
- 4:16Speaker 1: wouldn't see none of that, that I wouldn't see the attacks,
- 4:20Speaker 1: that I would not come under fire, that I would
- 4:23Speaker 1: not be falsely accused. He didn't say that. A matter
- 4:25Speaker 1: of fact, he four warned me that it would happen.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Or what he does give me in those moments on
- 4:32Speaker 1: moments of comfort in peace, knowing that He's with me,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and no, no matter what my enemy does to bring
- 4:39Speaker 1: me down, it ain't gonna work. It ain't gonna work.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So come if you want to fight, if you will.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I have a man that has been attacking me since
- 4:51Speaker 1: I owned the comedy club in Dallas. He has been
- 4:54Speaker 1: on a mission and that if I don't give him
- 4:59Speaker 1: five million dollars, he gonna do it. He didn't done everything, man,
- 5:03Speaker 1: he has done everything. Now he've messed around and got
- 5:08Speaker 1: itself now claiming in his letters physically ill and his
- 5:13Speaker 1: illnesses and what was befalling his family. He's blaming that
- 5:18Speaker 1: on me too. As Steve Harvey not stressed me out
- 5:21Speaker 1: and paid me this money he owed me, we were
- 5:25Speaker 1: you coming with this? He just has kept on it on,
- 5:28Speaker 1: it on, and you know what, he a messed around,
- 5:31Speaker 1: got itself sick. He'n messed around, man, got himself in
- 5:35Speaker 1: some situation. And can I tell you something. It's been
- 5:38Speaker 1: going on since nine teen, maybe ninety seven. He started
- 5:48Speaker 1: the attack when I first went on, No before that,
- 5:53Speaker 1: probably ninety five. He started the attacks in ninety five,
- 5:58Speaker 1: every nine And he didn't got six lawyers. All the
- 6:02Speaker 1: lawyers didn't drop the case. After they come in and
- 6:05Speaker 1: they discover the fact. But he steady trying. But it's
- 6:08Speaker 1: too angels that's around. And I forewarned him several times. Man,
- 6:13Speaker 1: and man, if I was you, I go head on
- 6:15Speaker 1: because what I'm not gonna do is being because see,
- 6:18Speaker 1: you cannot break me because I happened to be a
- 6:21Speaker 1: soldier for Christ. I happened to be an imperfect soldier
- 6:27Speaker 1: or Christ as nothing, Man as nothing. And oh it
- 6:32Speaker 1: ain't like a bunch of people and tried. Now, Oh
- 6:34Speaker 1: y'all all been on YouTube, y'all been on the internet.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Oh they didn't tried. Oh they didn't put some dirt
- 6:40Speaker 1: on me. Man, that ain't true. But if you keep
- 6:43Speaker 1: looking at me though, and I'm not the prize, but
- 6:46Speaker 1: if you put your eyes on God. It's where you go.
- 6:49Speaker 1: But if you look at me, He's covered me through
- 6:51Speaker 1: it all. And that's been the importance of the relationship
- 6:54Speaker 1: I formed with God, is that I know that I'm
- 6:58Speaker 1: under his wings, that I'm ever under his ever loving protection,
- 7:03Speaker 1: that he got me. And I just wanted to share
- 7:06Speaker 1: that with you that if you got If you're looking
- 7:09Speaker 1: for some protection, if you're looking for a way to
- 7:13Speaker 1: have the strength to get through what you're going through,
- 7:16Speaker 1: get some God man. If if you want to weigh out,
- 7:21Speaker 1: get some God man. If you've been gangbanging and you're
- 7:24Speaker 1: sick of gangbanging, get you some god man. If you're
- 7:27Speaker 1: tired of being on drugs and you're tied to drinking,
- 7:30Speaker 1: get you some god man. If you're tied to being
- 7:33Speaker 1: if you're sick and tired of being sick and tired,
- 7:35Speaker 1: get you some god man. I'm just telling you now.
- 7:39Speaker 1: If you're trying to make your dreams come true and
- 7:41Speaker 1: it looked like you ain't gonna make it, and you
- 7:43Speaker 1: still believe that that's for you, get you some God man.
- 7:47Speaker 1: If you're setting a new gold dream of aspiration and
- 7:49Speaker 1: you're trying to get that and you're gonna start out today.

- 8:26Speaker 1: a lot of times we go to God asking for
- 8:28Speaker 1: prayers and stuff, but we go to him and we
- 8:30Speaker 1: don't give nothing God nothing to bless. We won't blessings,
- 8:34Speaker 1: but we don't give him nothing to bless. You make

- 9:18Speaker 1: three hundred? Yeah? Man, how much you think you have
- 9:21Speaker 1: spent trying to get to twenty three hundred? Just a
- 9:24Speaker 1: few hundred? Now, let me ask you something. Do you
- 9:27Speaker 1: have a few hundred mold to try to get this
- 9:29Speaker 1: twenty three hundred that you've been trying to get for
- 9:31Speaker 1: four years? Yeah? I could do that, But do you

- 9:41Speaker 1: three hundred? But Steve am out of work right now.
- 9:43Speaker 1: I've fell on some hard times. I could use that money,
- 9:46Speaker 1: and I've been praying to God to help me. Yeah,
- 9:48Speaker 1: you've been praying to God to help you. God probably
- 9:50Speaker 1: got something way greater for you. But you gotta let

- 10:31Speaker 1: letting me make it back home. Man, I'm grateful. If
- 10:34Speaker 1: you get your gratitude together, it affects your attitude, which
- 10:38Speaker 1: is in direct correlation to your altitude. This is the
- 10:42Speaker 1: tune Martin show, Get him up, Shirley Strawberries back. Everybody

- 11:05Speaker 1: what's on your mind today? You know? Unc man, I
- 11:08Speaker 1: want to talk to a specific situation. I just want

- 11:18Speaker 1: specific running And I'm talking about this obedience with blessings.
- 11:26Speaker 1: When did you understand that your obedience lead to blessings
- 11:29Speaker 1: with age? Did you get that? Listen that probably click
- 11:33Speaker 1: kicked in with me when I was four or five.
- 11:38Speaker 1: If you do like I say, yeah, the blessing is
- 11:42Speaker 1: you won't get this ass whipping if you don't do
- 11:48Speaker 1: what I say and beat disobedient. That's gonna be some
- 11:52Speaker 1: instant repercussions. Oh. I started understanding that lesson round four
- 11:58Speaker 1: or five, that's what. Yeah, I hadn't quite really mastered
- 12:03Speaker 1: it at two. I think I took a lot of
- 12:06Speaker 1: unnecess series shakings because I was. I was in them
- 12:09Speaker 1: terrible tools. Maybe I don't really recall. Not terrible too, yeah, yeah,
- 12:16Speaker 1: but knowing how I was in my teens, I had
- 12:18Speaker 1: to have been a terrible flu Yeah. I forgot shakings.

- 12:31Speaker 1: Shake some sense into you. Oh no. And when they
- 12:34Speaker 1: got through, I had it too. It was amazing. My
- 12:38Speaker 1: mama told me one time I was in the store.
- 12:41Speaker 1: She said, I snatched a knot in you. And I
- 12:44Speaker 1: never understood that one time until she did it. I didn't.
- 12:49Speaker 1: I didn't know that you could get snatched so hard
- 12:53Speaker 1: that your body would tie yourself in a knot, like
- 12:57Speaker 1: my arms and legs was tied together system if they'd
- 13:00Speaker 1: put me in the other and I'd have been first
- 13:02Speaker 1: pressing yes, she actually, you don't, and she did. She snatt.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I didn't even know my body could die up like that,
- 13:12Speaker 1: I look like like a risk. Hilarious, So Junior, being
- 13:18Speaker 1: honest about it. It started kicking in four or five
- 13:25Speaker 1: later in life, understood the obedience to God. But first
- 13:30Speaker 1: the lesson of obedience was learned early on, and I
- 13:33Speaker 1: must admit I thanked them for it. Yeah, all right,
- 13:37Speaker 1: thank you guys. Coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:39Speaker 1: the hour, we'll hear from the nephew as he runs
- 13:41Speaker 1: that prank back right after this. You're listening Morning show.

- 14:16Speaker 1: I'm actually uh, I'm terminally ill, brother, brother Terrence, And
- 14:24Speaker 1: I don't you know as far as what the doctors
- 14:27Speaker 1: tell me, it could be six months or another year,
- 14:31Speaker 1: but I know my time here is definitely limited, you know. Well,
- 14:36Speaker 1: I'm sorry to hear that, but we're definitely here to
- 14:39Speaker 1: help you out with whatever you need or whatever we
- 14:42Speaker 1: can help you with. So what can we do for you? Well?
- 14:45Speaker 1: You know, I truly believe that sometimes people have here.
- 14:49Speaker 1: You know, I've seen one of the old movies they
- 14:51Speaker 1: got with it got a bucket list or whatever they
- 14:53Speaker 1: called it. You know, people trying to do things before
- 14:56Speaker 1: they leave here. I guess I'm just sitting around trying
- 14:58Speaker 1: to figure out what I could do with what I
- 15:00Speaker 1: wanted to do before I left this world and went
- 15:04Speaker 1: on to what he asked for me next. You know,
- 15:07Speaker 1: I don't believe in doing anything unless it's prayed on first.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, if you don't mind, maybe you can pray
- 15:15Speaker 1: that the which should come true. You you you're not
- 15:18Speaker 1: doing anything like that. Oh no, I don't mind praying.

- 15:33Speaker 1: we ask you to touch this young man and every
- 15:36Speaker 1: which way he heard, and then we ask you to
- 15:39Speaker 1: deliver him for whatever is going on with him and
- 15:42Speaker 1: let him know that we the church is here to
- 15:44Speaker 1: help him with whatever his needs is in his last days.
- 15:48Speaker 1: And Jesus's name, I pray say Amen with him. Amen, man,
- 15:54Speaker 1: it's gonna do it here now. You a member of
- 15:57Speaker 1: the church here, I was a member, but I still
- 16:00Speaker 1: consider myself. Remember it's just been quite some time, probably
- 16:04Speaker 1: over a year and a half, two years since I've
- 16:06Speaker 1: been able to come, you know, through to my my illness.
- 16:09Speaker 1: But definitely I will remember that. Well, that's all right.
- 16:13Speaker 1: We're not worried about all that. We just here to
- 16:16Speaker 1: take care of your last and final wish. That's what
- 16:19Speaker 1: our minister is for. You know. We help people with
- 16:22Speaker 1: with with anything they need, you know, like what what
- 16:26Speaker 1: what all I mean when when people call them won't
- 16:28Speaker 1: say what all of you you are? What all of
- 16:31Speaker 1: y'all helped them with? Well, we've helped them with the rent, uh,
- 16:36Speaker 1: take them to the store, help them with a utility bill,
- 16:40Speaker 1: come out and cut the grass, anything like that they
- 16:43Speaker 1: just can't do. Take them to the doctor's appointment. Anything
- 16:47Speaker 1: we'd like to help them with, we do exactly. Then Okay,
- 16:50Speaker 1: well I pretty much got those things taken care of.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I think what i'd like to do between you and
- 16:58Speaker 1: and myself, brothersdad about never told anyone what I'm about
- 17:02Speaker 1: to tell you. I've never been with a with with
- 17:06Speaker 1: a woman to fall I'm you know, I'm thirty eight,
- 17:11Speaker 1: but I've never been with a woman. Well, I guess
- 17:15Speaker 1: that might be a blessing. You might you might be perire.
- 17:17Speaker 1: That's a good thing. Well, you know, but sometimes you know,
- 17:21Speaker 1: I give before I leave. I guess that's a desire
- 17:24Speaker 1: that I have. And and and uh, what I wanted
- 17:27Speaker 1: to ask you was there is a lady there at
- 17:30Speaker 1: the church, and before I leave, I think that's the
- 17:35Speaker 1: woman that I would actually like to be with. Well,
- 17:40Speaker 1: I don't know if make a Wish ministry can support
- 17:43Speaker 1: that kind of stuff, but uh, go ahead, let me hear,
- 17:46Speaker 1: okay that the lady that I'm actually interested in actually,
- 17:50Speaker 1: uh she works at the church too. Well, I see
- 17:55Speaker 1: she's done at all. What she's about five nine, and
- 17:58Speaker 1: she's probably about size eight, beautiful long leagues man and
- 18:03Speaker 1: and and sandy type of hair, sandy color for sandy
- 18:08Speaker 1: brown man. And I mean she looked like careman. Hold
- 18:11Speaker 1: on a minute, what's her name? I think her name Linda. Now,
- 18:15Speaker 1: hold on, that's my wife. What you mean go ahead
- 18:19Speaker 1: and see wait wait wait wait wait wait wait Linda
- 18:21Speaker 1: your wife? Yeah, that's my wife? You Sorvince? What do
- 18:25Speaker 1: you mean? Listen, y'all are ministry now now, if y'all
- 18:30Speaker 1: supposed to be taking care of people, don't make a
- 18:32Speaker 1: wish and and taking care of what they want before
- 18:34Speaker 1: they leave this world? If that's my wish, what is
- 18:36Speaker 1: the problem listening here? You didn't cross every line there
- 18:40Speaker 1: was about this man, so I don't give a damn
- 18:42Speaker 1: about it. I'm you're talking about sleeping with my w
- 18:45Speaker 1: If I see y'all gonna do something to you, they
- 18:47Speaker 1: ain't gonna even be able to recognize you. So what
- 18:50Speaker 1: the you talking about? Missing with my wife? Son of um?
- 18:53Speaker 1: I called miss Linda myself and seeing you know I
- 18:55Speaker 1: have a problem. Wasn't helping me make my wish come true?
- 18:58Speaker 1: To it? And calling you won't call nobody else. That
- 19:02Speaker 1: would be the last called you make. I thought y'all
- 19:06Speaker 1: were here to relieve people so they can enjoy themselves
- 19:10Speaker 1: before they leave this world. You talk about sleeping with
- 19:13Speaker 1: my wife? Are you crazy? But but if I'm going
- 19:16Speaker 1: to leave here, ain't nobody gonna know, but you want hut.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I don't care if you die. I don't care. You
- 19:21Speaker 1: ain't sleeping with my wife and your food with her.
- 19:24Speaker 1: You probably gonna go ahead and die quicker than you
- 19:26Speaker 1: need to. I thought this was a ministry. I don't
- 19:30Speaker 1: feel you now you won't. They're telling me about dard
- 19:32Speaker 1: y'all supposed to be a ministry that helps people before
- 19:35Speaker 1: they leave a word or what it is. But you
- 19:37Speaker 1: talk about sleeping with my wife. You got an illness,
- 19:40Speaker 1: but something must be wrong with your brain talking about
- 19:42Speaker 1: messing with man? Why ain't nobody don't even know? I've
- 19:44Speaker 1: been what your wife wants? Something gonna there? Ain't gonna
- 19:47Speaker 1: people the tour, y'all. At least you would have helped
- 19:49Speaker 1: me before I live. Now I can't help you with nothing.
- 19:51Speaker 1: And let me tell you something. I'm not the preacher,
- 19:54Speaker 1: I'm not the past I'm not the deacon, I'm not
- 19:56Speaker 1: none of them. But if you mentioned my wife, you're
- 19:59Speaker 1: gonna know who I am. I'm gonna be the undertaker.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Do you understand? I'm here with you, Sam, But I
- 20:03Speaker 1: got one more thing I need to tell you about

- 54:20Speaker 1: subject my house, my rules. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been
- 54:24Speaker 1: with my lady for four years and I told her
- 54:27Speaker 1: we're getting married, so she suggested we lived together first.
- 54:31Speaker 1: I was under the impression that she wanted to live
- 54:33Speaker 1: with me so she could save up money for our
- 54:35Speaker 1: wedding expenses. As soon as she moved in, she stopped working.
- 54:41Speaker 1: She said she needed a little time off to get
- 54:43Speaker 1: adjusted to her new surroundings. That was a year ago,
- 54:46Speaker 1: and she makes excuses when I asked her about finding
- 54:49Speaker 1: a job. She keeps asking me when I planned to propose,
- 54:53Speaker 1: and I always answer with whenever you find a job.
- 54:56Speaker 1: I added her to a checking account that I have,
- 54:59Speaker 1: and she uses it for household stuff, but she is
- 55:03Speaker 1: blowing through her own personal savings by shopping online and
- 55:06Speaker 1: hanging out with her girls. I'm almost fifty and she's
- 55:10Speaker 1: thirty one, so I want her to live her life,
- 55:13Speaker 1: but be more responsible financially. She cooks, cleans and even
- 55:18Speaker 1: takes out the trash. Sex it's amazing when she allows it.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Most times, it's an oral deal because she is too
- 55:27Speaker 1: tired to go all the way. I am not complaining
- 55:30Speaker 1: about that, but I need to know what she's tired from.
- 55:34Speaker 1: We got in a nasty argument over me asking her
- 55:37Speaker 1: to get a job, even if it's part time. She
- 55:40Speaker 1: said she's sick of me saying my house, my rules,
- 55:43Speaker 1: and I understand that it sounds mean spirited, but I
- 55:46Speaker 1: mean it. That's all I ask of her. I think
- 55:49Speaker 1: her friends pulled her into believing that I am supposed
- 55:52Speaker 1: to take care of everything financially in our relationship. We
- 55:55Speaker 1: are not married, so why would I do that. I
- 55:58Speaker 1: provide the home I bought her her, and she has
- 56:01Speaker 1: access to my money and credit cards. I would love
- 56:04Speaker 1: for us to stack money together. I'm not wealthy and
- 56:07Speaker 1: she is draining me. Would I be crazy to propose
- 56:10Speaker 1: to her if she doesn't change? Well, absolutely, yes, yes,
- 56:16Speaker 1: you would be crazy to propose to her right now
- 56:18Speaker 1: or ever for that matter. And what makes you think
- 56:21Speaker 1: she's gonna change. You're fifty, she's thirty one. You've got
- 56:25Speaker 1: nineteen years on her. She's young. She probably sees you, sir,
- 56:30Speaker 1: as a sugar daddy, which means she expects you to
- 56:33Speaker 1: take care of her. You already bought her a car,
- 56:36Speaker 1: she uses your credit cards at will. I mean who
- 56:39Speaker 1: she is is who she is. You'll only get more
- 56:42Speaker 1: of the same if you propose and marry her. You
- 56:46Speaker 1: know the saying when someone shows you who they are,
- 56:48Speaker 1: believe them. I'm sure you've heard that before. Well, so
- 56:51Speaker 1: you got to believe her. How much more proof do
- 56:54Speaker 1: you need? It's been a whole year. She's still not working,
- 56:58Speaker 1: she's still living like a kept woman. She's living her
- 57:01Speaker 1: best life. You can't even get that amazing sex she
- 57:04Speaker 1: wrote about when you want it? So what is in
- 57:08Speaker 1: this for you to me? To you? I say this,
- 57:14Speaker 1: cut your losses with her because you're gonna end up
- 57:17Speaker 1: broke if you don't stop this, you're expecting her to
- 57:20Speaker 1: do something she doesn't. Is not interested in, you know,
- 57:26Speaker 1: having some sort of stacking money situation with you. She's
- 57:30Speaker 1: not interested in that. She's interested in spending your money. Okay,
- 57:34Speaker 1: you guys have two different life goals. You need to
- 57:37Speaker 1: understand that and probably move on. Steve, Well, I don't
- 57:43Speaker 1: know how the letter got the title My house, my rules.
- 57:50Speaker 1: We could call this Daddy of the King. We could
- 57:56Speaker 1: call this daddy Sugar. We could call it sugar daddy.
- 58:04Speaker 1: We could call it the domino effect. We could call
- 58:09Speaker 1: it raw sugar. Whatever you want to call it. Brother,
- 58:14Speaker 1: but your house ain't got no rules in it. You've
- 58:19Speaker 1: been with this girl four years, and you told her
- 58:22Speaker 1: you was gonna get married. Then she said, while we
- 58:24Speaker 1: live together. First you thought she wanted to live with you,
- 58:29Speaker 1: so y'all can save her money for your wedding. As
- 58:33Speaker 1: soon as she moved in, she stopped working. Jack pot
- 58:37Speaker 1: being ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding. You're fifty,
- 58:45Speaker 1: she thirty one. You already knew what just he is, though,
- 58:52Speaker 1: and she quentn't. That was almost a year ago. She
- 58:54Speaker 1: said she needed a little time out to get adjusted
- 58:58Speaker 1: to her new surrounded. That's interesting. So let me ask
- 59:03Speaker 1: y'all something. If somebody asked you to marry them or
- 59:08Speaker 1: become the woman, or date them or move in, you
- 59:13Speaker 1: mean you get to take some time off from your
- 59:16Speaker 1: job so you can adjust to your new surrounded. Wow,
- 59:21Speaker 1: that's nice. Oh so you mean like if I buy
- 59:25Speaker 1: a brand new house and this a new surrounded, I'm
- 59:27Speaker 1: gonna quit my job so I can get used to
- 59:29Speaker 1: this house. Well, don't get too used to it, because
- 59:32Speaker 1: yass ain't gonna be any long. Girl, I don't know
- 59:39Speaker 1: what's happening here with this letter right here, But this
- 59:42Speaker 1: dude right here, I don't even know. Dog, you fifty,
- 59:43Speaker 1: Why are you even writing me? She asked, When you
- 59:48Speaker 1: was gonna propose to it, you told her whenever you
- 59:50Speaker 1: find a job, you add it up to the checking account,
- 59:55Speaker 1: and said she used it for household stuff. But now
- 59:58Speaker 1: she's blowing through her personal savings, shopping old line and
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: hanging out with her girl. Now you want her to
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: live her best life, but you want her to be
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: more responsible financially. She's irresponsible. She retired at thirty one.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: That's I don't know how to say it to you.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Though she retired, she tired working. Hold that thought, Steve.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response to today's Strawberry
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: letter at twenty three minutes after the hour. My house,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: my Rules is the subject. We'll get back into it
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: my house, my Rules. You know, dog, he's been with
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: this lady four years. She wanted to get married. As
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: soon as he said he would marry her. She said,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: let's live together. As soon as they moved and she
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: quit her job. She thirty one. He fitted sugar. Daddy's
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: sitting up in here, don't even understand what's going on. Well, daddy,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: it's time for you to bring a sugar. So she's retired.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: She's blowing through her personal savings, shopping online, hanging out
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: with her girls. Now, you want to live at best life,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: but you want her to be more responsible. Here's the
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: hooking the letter. She cooks, she cleans, she even takes
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: out the trash. Sex is amazing when she allows it. Now,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: let's go over this. She could clean, She even take
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: out the trash. Sex is amazing. Most sex is though
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: most most sex is made. It's really it's the most
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: amazing thing ever. It's more amazing. It's like one of
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: the top wonders of the world. To me, it's better
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: than the Grand Canyon or nineca Falls wave. Yeah, it's
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: better than Victoria Lakes. It's very and all the constellations
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: in the sky. To me, I'm just saying it's better.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: It is better. Sex is the most amazing thing. It's
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: better than food, better than absolutely it's it's better than
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: breathing because it has caused me to stop several times,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: and I didn't miss breathing at all. It's how amazing
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: sexy is. Now, he say most of the time it's
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: an oil deal because she's too tired to go all
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: the way. I'm not complaining about that, but I need
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: to know what she tied from. Well, she's been shopping
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: online all day and hanging out with her girls. Yeah,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: we out that's exhausted. Yes, that's exhausting. Dog, And the
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: fact that you're getting anything at all. Clap clap. Now
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: y'all got in the nasty argument over her ask you
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: asking her to get a job, even if it's part time.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: She said, she's sicking me, saying my house, my rules,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: And I understand that it sounds mean spirited, but I
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: mean it. Well, that's an apology that ain't connected to nothing.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: I'm sorry I said it. I know it means I sorry.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: I said that. I know it sounds mean spirited, but
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: I mean it. It's my house, my rude. That's all
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: I ask of her. And then he says, I think
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: her friends and fool and believing that I'm supposed to
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: take care of everything financially and wrestling. Ain't that what
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: you're doing, saying nobody fool? Huh, the fool is particularly you,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: the fool, not dog. My wife don't work, So I
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: don't want to be hypocritical here. But we went in
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: with that understanding that she wouldn't work. That was the understanding.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: So did we be able to travel together, see the
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: world together, be with me whenever I need it, you know?
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: And she supports that. And she takes here a lot
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: of things. Now, your girls taking care a lot of
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: stuff too. She cooking, she cleaned, she taking out trash.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Thought it's all right, he trash. I don't know. I
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: can't get Marger taking no, damn trash out. So I
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: think you got all this money I'm bringing up in
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: the house. I don't know why you can't take that
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: bag of trash out. I've never seen her walk into
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: the trash can. A matter of fact, I don't even
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: think she knows where they at. Steriously disappears, doesn't it. Oh,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: now listen to this right here. We are not married,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: so why would I do that? Boy? You're doing it now. Man,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: you're providing all everything. I provide the home. I bought
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: her a car. She has access to my money and
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: credit cards. Man, don't you know, don't I'm confused? You say,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: do you think of friends? Fool you into believing that
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: I'm supposed to take care of everything financially in my relationship.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: We're not married, so why would I do that? That
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: was your statement. We're not married, so why would I
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: do that? Then you turn around and said, I provide
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: the home, I bought a car, she got access to
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: my money and credit card. I'm confused. If you wouldn't
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: do that, why are you doing that? Damn dog? I
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: would love for us to stack money together. You can't
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: stack money together. One person is taking the stat h
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I'm not wealthy and she's draining me. Would I be
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: crazy to propose if she don't change? But you're gonna
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: marry her? Oh you're gonna sign up for it. H
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: doub Man. Shirley's response Will spot on. I meant to
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: say that earlier. Congratulations Sherley. I really enjoyed your answer.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I would cut my losses dollar, I would leave. Well,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: he ain't got to leave. Well, I'm talking about what
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: ata more access to this money? Ain't no access to
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: the credit? Yeah? Cut her off and I'm gonna sail
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: that car. Yeah yeah, we're turning that back in. Thank you,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: all right, thank you, Steve. Please lem up Today's letter
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: on Instagram and at Steve Harvey FM, and check out
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter podcast don demand. Coming up next, it
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: is Sports Talk with Junior. Right after this. You're listening,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: all right, It is time now for Junior and Sports
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Talk Junior. What you got? Oh my gosh, man, Kanye
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: West is heaven a really bad week? Tad Man. I
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: just can't believe this. Jaylen browns, Yeah, yeah, because you
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: know he got done to sports remember don to sports member.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: He started that with a b all of with Antonio
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Brown and company. Yeah, it's a real company. Because this week,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: not only did Gap and Adidas drop him, Jaylen Brown
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: God for the Celtics and Aaron Donald for the Los
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Angeles Ram. They didn't drop that on Kanye. They don't
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: want everything this week. Come on, Dona Sports, is that
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: they're losing that Also, I know you overseas, so you
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: don't even know this. The NBA started last week. Is
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: one week into the NBA season and the Los Angeles
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Lakers are and three and everybody's freaking out because we
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: don't know why. Dude. The one thing they're talking about
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: is do you trade Russell Westbrook? Is this the problem
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: for the Lakers? They keep saying that. Why they they
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: keep saying it t but it's three games though they
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: play it now. It's something wrong with street closed. That's
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: the problem. Street closed. Trust me, he gonna have street
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: clothes on by the end of the month. I promise,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: end of November. Anthony Davis up. Remember last Sea he
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: sat out fifty five games, so that what we deemed
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: the street close because every time you see him, he
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: just a street club. Ain't never in uniform club stay.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: So they try to say that, you know, Russell Westbrook
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: could be the problem, should they the Lakers cut their
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: losses with I don't Russell Westbrook is not the problem.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: The problem is they bought this extremely talented basketball player
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: who is my favorite player in the league hands down
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: with Chris Paul, and they brought him out there and
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: they don't know how to put his talent with Lebron
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: because he looks unsure of what his role is. Westbrook
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: is an engine man that that boy's nasty, but he's
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: not allowed to be that on the team. I think
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: they should trade him and let him go somewhere so
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: he can ball where he can, where he can flourish.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: I understand that right quick time. We gotta tell Steve this.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: We wanted to say this congratulation to the Houston Astros
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: that y'all know world serious. Yeah he is World Series.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Talk about us cheating, Well, we're hitting that. We ain't
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: cheating that here. Yeah, Cham's here and we played in
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: the Philadelphia for the World Series. Just want you to
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: let you know that you're inside the world were in
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: the World Series. Just want pies in it, Yes, sir,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: damn beat the Padres for the one. We swept the Yankees.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Posting up just wanted you know, you might want to
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: come on, get on this bandwagon and let you the
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: little Strolls is gonna win the World Series this year.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Just go ahead, but we do love the Yankee fans
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: shouting out to send a team. All right, thank you, Junior.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: That's right at the top of the hour, we're gonna
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: talk about retirement with our very own original king of
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: comedy right after this, what Steve what wae? Wait a minute,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: not today you're listening to Well. Earlier this year, the
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: greatest tennis star of all time, the Goat, Serena Williams,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: announced that she was stepping away from competing in tennis,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: but she recently made it clear that it does not
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: mean she's retiring from playing tennis. At a recent tech conference,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Serena was asked what are the chances we will see
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: her play again, and she responded that the chances are
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: very high, very high. So here's a question. She's retiring,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: but she could play again, you know, so never say yeah,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: she's the Tom Brady of tennis. Is that what you're
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: trying to say? Tommy iverything? Most shame? Yeah, So, Steve, um,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I gotta ask you now, did you just step away
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: from comedy altogether or did you retiret I know, so
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: I'm asking. Yeah, we were all there and it was
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: a great night. Well, I was gonna say it, I
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: haven't done it, and I don't like the way my
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: timing is right now. Even though I have jobs that
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: have kept my comedy muscle active and sharp, I don't
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: have the set that I would be proud of right
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: now to put out I really don't. I would need
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: about six months on stage, yes, call it, but I
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: do have one in me. But I gotta wait till
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: I'm leaving TV. But that's what I was gonna say.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Is it because you're restricted? Because I think, okay, so
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: we're ending this guy's special. God, why do you want
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: to end it? Though? Like that, I thought you wanted
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: to do this, but ever do what forever? I thought
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: you wanted to be being in comedy and do stand up,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: you know, when you wanted it on your own terms forever, forever, forever,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: I mean, you know what I mean, Like some of
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: those old comedians like you know, did it till they
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: were well well up in age. Yeah, you don't look
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: good either, though. It don't look good. Comedy don't look
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: good at a certain age, you just don't because you're
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: talking about what your next comedy special will end your career? Well, yes,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: oh no, yes, no, it's no, No, it's hope. I'm
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: just telling you right now. I know it's a wrap.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: What I want you to do it anyway? Yes, career
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: is the most pertinent question. Yeah, would that end? This
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: radio show? Is well? With this being sponsors is gone,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: everybody gone, gone out the window. I'm trying to figure
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: out why would you would be that? Why would I do?
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Why would why would you do something that's going to
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: end your career because of Dave Chappelle. Dave Chappelle? What
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: about him? Because this special motivated me? Yeah, I want
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: to say what I want to say too. Yeah. One
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: of them days Chappelle was so ignorant talking about Detroit.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: He said, they were buying at Dave you sucked day.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: We want our money back, he said. I gathered myself
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: people of Detroit hear me, and hear me. Well, you
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: will never money back, he said. But then I felt
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: so bad about it because I just wasn't having a
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: good night. I decided to do something for the people
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: of Detroit. So I spent half of my money that night,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: and I bought tens of thousands of dollars of bubble
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: gum and I drove around the city passing up the
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: bubble gum to homeless people so they could chew it
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: and still be hungry. Boy, this boy a food man,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Yes it is, and we love them so they could
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: shoot it. All right, coming up in twenty minutes after
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: so we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:16:27Speaker 1: given us to us. Actually, these schools are sister schools. Actually,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: so they worked together and partnership. You didn't know that,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: you know, don't believe it. You look like they have

- 1:20:50Speaker 1: He was such a beloved comedian and actor. Yeah, he

- 1:24:24Speaker 1: she don't do the little outfits. You ain't never seen
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: nothing on a little baby coat rat you know where
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: they had a whole suit, shirt and tad. Everything be
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: just hung up on the suit and be real still
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: baby clothes, the whole outfit, the shirt, that tad jacket,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: their pants, little socks be pinned under. How you get
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: all that on one damn coat hanger and the coat
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: hanger a little Yeah, she don't make them time to
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: type of clothes. I'm the short kick right now because
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: of Sherley's driver or what's his name, Grease? Grease. You know,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: I appreciate you telling me to stay off Tommy, but
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: this ain't bout Timmy. This about you, Grease. I don't
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: know how you got the name grease. Let me just
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: try to think of a couple of ways you got
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: to name with grease. Because when you had a bike
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: as a little boy, you kept getting grease on you
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: because the chain kept rubbing on your shirt. That's why
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: they called you grease. Or when you know, you know
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: the bike chained, he going to try to get on
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: his brother bike and the bike chain grease would get
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: on his shirt. That's how he got called grease. Oh
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: he was going out to door to school, passed by
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: the stove the grease can and would hide him and
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: so they would call him grease. They couldn't see past
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: grease can. And then the other reason they called him
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: grease because he's the same hype as a ball of
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: Weston all three. He said, why do you tell you
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: he was five three? Because he wanted you to lay off. Okay,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: let me ask you a question. When he was driving
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: when he was driving. Could you see him? Yes, I
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: could see him. Yes, it wasn't No mirrors in a
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: car helping him. You ain't seen, no blocks, you ain't
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: seen no telephone books, none of that. There was a
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: grease where we off tought me. We all you grease.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: That's his only message, hanging out grease all right, grease,
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: bro I got you back man. Don't wear about stay
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: to help him get up in the suv to drive.
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: I love you, Grease, Grease. Don't go cliff dive and
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: he go curb jumping. We have to go say goodbye.
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: If it rained outside all the shop, he would be
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: having a swimming standard on the curve, jumping in puddle,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: having a good time. Y'all have for all Steve Harvey contests,
