- 0:00Speaker 1: Just a few decades ago, one in ten thousand children
- 0:04Speaker 1: had autism. Today it's one in thirty one. Last time
- 0:07Speaker 1: I heard the number is one in thirty four. Right
- 0:09Speaker 1: now it's one in thirty one. There's something wrong and
- 0:12Speaker 1: we will not stop until we defeat the chronic disease
- 0:15Speaker 1: epidemic in America. We're going to get it done.
- 0:19Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Good Friday morning. Nice to have you with us on
- 0:24Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update. And here are the three
- 0:27Speaker 3: big stories coming to the White House that we're going
- 0:29Speaker 3: to be covering this morning. First up, the big beautiful
- 0:32Speaker 3: Bill is official. It has past the House and what
- 0:36Speaker 3: is in it is going to have a huge impact
- 0:38Speaker 3: for all Americans. Will break down exactly what was in
- 0:41Speaker 3: that bill coming up in just a moment. Up next,
- 0:44Speaker 3: you may not hate the media as much as you
- 0:46Speaker 3: should after a study has come out stating just how
- 0:50Speaker 3: much negative news there is during the first hundred days.
- 0:54Speaker 3: On Donald Trump and Elon Musk, I'll break that down
- 0:58Speaker 3: for you as well. And finally, RFK Junior and Donald
- 1:01Speaker 3: Trump teaming up to make America healthy again, and why
- 1:05Speaker 3: is the media fighting against it. We'll have that audio
- 1:08Speaker 3: for you in a moment. It's the forty seven Morning Update,
- 1:11Speaker 3: and it starts.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Right now, story number one. It's been made official.
- 1:15Speaker 3: The House of Representatives erupts and cheers and a pause
- 1:19Speaker 3: as President Donald Trump's One Big, Beautiful Bill officially passes
- 1:24Speaker 3: the House.
- 1:25Speaker 5: On this vote, the YASER two hundred and fifteen, the
- 1:28Speaker 5: NASER two hundred and fourteen, with one answering present.
- 1:32Speaker 4: The bill is passed.
- 1:41Speaker 3: USA USA with chants of USA, USA, USA. The four
- 1:48Speaker 3: erupted with clapping and excitement high fives. So what is
- 1:53Speaker 3: actually in this bill and how big of an impact
- 1:55Speaker 3: can I have on you and your family? Well, let's
- 1:58Speaker 3: start with this one. No tax on tips and or
- 2:02Speaker 3: overtime pay. What does this mean? And it means increase
- 2:06Speaker 3: take on pay instantly. Workers in the service industries and
- 2:10Speaker 3: hourly jobs benefit immediately by now being able to keep
- 2:14Speaker 3: one hundred percent of their tips and overtime. That will
- 2:17Speaker 3: boost income without increasing labor costs for the employers, which
- 2:22Speaker 3: is a huge win for the economy. We also know
- 2:24Speaker 3: that in this bill they are simplifying tax filing, reducing
- 2:29Speaker 3: complexity at both employees and the irs, which will be
- 2:32Speaker 3: a huge win also for small businesses and small business growth.
- 2:36Speaker 3: We also have stronger incentives to work extra hours. Now,
- 2:41Speaker 3: this bill encourages productivity and helps businesses meet demand with
- 2:45Speaker 3: more willing workers who are already on their payroll. Now,
- 2:49Speaker 3: there's also some other aspects this bill that are incredible.
- 2:52Speaker 3: One hundred and seventy five billion for deportation and border
- 2:55Speaker 3: wall funding. Donald Trump making good on a promise that
- 2:59Speaker 3: border secure is going to be a top priority. Not
- 3:02Speaker 3: only does this boost enforcement as well as technology and
- 3:04Speaker 3: infrastructure at the southern border, which Donald Trump argued would
- 3:08Speaker 3: reduce illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and human smuggling. There's also
- 3:13Speaker 3: to turn effect a large scale investment sends a very
- 3:18Speaker 3: strong message to White House, says that immigration laws will
- 3:21Speaker 3: be strictly enforced as long as Donald Trump is in
- 3:23Speaker 3: the White House.
- 3:24Speaker 4: And there's also job protection in this bill.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Donald Trump said it's a way to protect low skill
- 3:30Speaker 3: American jobs from being undercut by a legal immigrant labor.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Now, let's move on to also something else.
- 3:37Speaker 3: That was in the big beautiful bill, tax relief for
- 3:40Speaker 3: seniors higher disposable income. This is something Donald Trump said
- 3:44Speaker 3: was extremely important because it reduces the financial burden on retirees,
- 3:48Speaker 3: especially those living on a fixed income. There's also greater
- 3:52Speaker 3: economic participation because of this bill. Seniors may have more
- 3:56Speaker 3: freedom to spend or invest or support family members. And
- 4:00Speaker 3: then there's a healthcare costs buffer as well. It will
- 4:04Speaker 3: be easier to manage out of pocket medical expenses or
- 4:07Speaker 3: rising living costs in this country. Now, there's also the
- 4:11Speaker 3: biggest part of this bill that will have a huge
- 4:13Speaker 3: impact on every American, and that is making the twenty
- 4:17Speaker 3: seventeen tax cuts permanent. Certainly for families and businesses, long
- 4:22Speaker 3: term planning is easier when tax rates are lower and
- 4:25Speaker 3: locked in, which this bill does, and the lower individual
- 4:29Speaker 3: tax rates will continue helping middle class earners keep more
- 4:33Speaker 3: of their paychecks. There's also support for small businesses and
- 4:37Speaker 3: passer entities like LLCs andes corps continue to benefit from
- 4:42Speaker 3: deductions and spurring entrepreneurship and growth, especially among younger workers.
- 4:48Speaker 3: The last thing that the President talked about that was
- 4:50Speaker 3: so good was this the economic boost. There will be
- 4:54Speaker 3: more money in consumers pockets that can lead to higher
- 4:58Speaker 3: spending and economic activity, and it's.
- 5:00Speaker 4: A pro worker appeal.
- 5:02Speaker 3: The bill positioned itself as rewarding hard work aka tips
- 5:06Speaker 3: and overtime and protecting American jobs in the process. And
- 5:10Speaker 3: there's long term structural changes by locking in tax policy
- 5:15Speaker 3: and beefing up immigration enforcement. The President said this is
- 5:19Speaker 3: fulfilling his long promised reforms of putting American workers first
- 5:24Speaker 3: and making America great again.
- 5:26Speaker 4: Now story number two, there is a.
- 5:28Speaker 3: New study that has just come out that makes us
- 5:30Speaker 3: realize we may not hate the media as much as
- 5:33Speaker 3: we actually should for their bias and lying against Donald
- 5:38Speaker 3: Trump and people that are close to him. We all
- 5:41Speaker 3: know how much the media lied about Donald Trump Russian
- 5:44Speaker 3: collusion is a great example, or how much they protected
- 5:46Speaker 3: the Biden crime family by claiming that the Hunter and
- 5:49Speaker 3: Biden laptop wasn't even real. We also know that they
- 5:53Speaker 3: used the media countless times to try to impeach Donald Trump,
- 5:57Speaker 3: not once but twice, and to overthrow the the people.
- 6:00Speaker 3: But what happens when you are an ally of the
- 6:03Speaker 3: president and you're standing with him in his second term
- 6:06Speaker 3: in office. Well, now we understand, because of the data,
- 6:11Speaker 3: just how hard it is to stand up for what
- 6:13Speaker 3: you believe in a recent study by the Media Research
- 6:16Speaker 3: Center has found that Elon Musk received ninety six percent
- 6:21Speaker 3: negative coverage for major US television networks ABC, NBC, and
- 6:27Speaker 3: CBS during the first one hundred days of President Donald
- 6:31Speaker 3: Trump's second term. Now, how extreme is ninety six percent
- 6:35Speaker 3: negative coverage. Well, during the first hundred days of President
- 6:39Speaker 3: Donald trump second term, he only received ninety two percent
- 6:43Speaker 3: negative coverage for himself during the same period, meaning that
- 6:49Speaker 3: the media understands that Donald Trump is evil in their eyes,
- 6:53Speaker 3: and they'll do whatever they can to take him out.
- 6:55Speaker 3: But if you're an ally of the president, they'll come
- 6:58Speaker 3: after you even harder. Now, the analysis focused on evening
- 7:02Speaker 3: newscasts and highlight the intense scrutiny that Elon must face,
- 7:06Speaker 3: particularly in the role as head of the Department of
- 7:08Speaker 3: Government Efficiency, you know it as DOGE. The study's findings
- 7:12Speaker 3: have sparked discussion about media extremist bias and the portrayal
- 7:17Speaker 3: of influential figures in the tech industry who stand with
- 7:20Speaker 3: Donald Trump. What's even worse is the fact that they
- 7:24Speaker 3: do it to destroy his entire livelihood, attacking his companies
- 7:29Speaker 3: and anything that he has invested in. Joe Rogan talking
- 7:33Speaker 3: about this in his show with Aaron Rodgers, and here
- 7:36Speaker 3: is what they had to say about the shocking details
- 7:39Speaker 3: of this report.
- 7:40Speaker 5: And recently that showed that ninety six percent of all
- 7:44Speaker 5: the stories that mainstream media prints about ELON are negative
- 7:49Speaker 5: ninety six percent. Meanwhile, the guys saved those people trapped
- 7:53Speaker 5: up in space. Yeah, you didn't hear a pete and
- 7:56Speaker 5: the city.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Does when there's natural disasters with the starlink.
- 7:59Speaker 5: Oh yeah, revolutionizing space travel, revolutionizing satellite internet capabilities and
- 8:08Speaker 5: the availability all over the world. It's crazy, It's really.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Crazy, and saving billions of dollars of your tax money
- 8:15Speaker 4: from going to fun stupid a programs.
- 8:18Speaker 5: It's not just all over the world programs. Some of
- 8:20Speaker 5: it is like, you don't even know where it went.
- 8:21Speaker 4: It's corruption too.
- 8:23Speaker 5: He said that some of the money that there was
- 8:25Speaker 5: billions of dollars that was written out with no receipts
- 8:28Speaker 5: at all. He said, if this was a private company,
- 8:31Speaker 5: or excuse me, a public company, they would be delisted
- 8:34Speaker 5: and all the executives be thrown in prison. But in
- 8:37Speaker 5: the government it's just like standard practice.
- 8:39Speaker 4: How come nobody has gone to prison. That's one of
- 8:41Speaker 4: my main questions for Trump and the administration. It's a
- 8:43Speaker 4: good question, it is a great question.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Why aren't people going to jail, and there's a good
- 8:47Speaker 3: chance moving forward that may actually happen. As for Elon Musk,
- 8:51Speaker 3: he's responded to the new studies results, accusing the legacy
- 8:55Speaker 3: media of dishonesty and suggesting that the negative coverage is
- 8:59Speaker 3: part of it deliver a campaign to undermine him due
- 9:02Speaker 3: to his influential status and political leanings. Now, this situation
- 9:07Speaker 3: clearly underscores the relationship between the media and the narratives
- 9:12Speaker 3: that they want to push on public perception, especially concerning
- 9:16Speaker 3: high profile individuals who play a significant role in Donald
- 9:21Speaker 3: Trump's administration. One thing is for sure, this study needs
- 9:25Speaker 3: to be shared everywhere so that the people understand that
- 9:29Speaker 3: when you're watching the nightly news, you're not actually watching
- 9:32Speaker 3: the news anymore on ABCNBC or CBS, you're watching liberal
- 9:37Speaker 3: government sponsored propaganda, and it's there to undermine Donald Trump
- 9:42Speaker 3: and anyone around him in the administration.
- 9:45Speaker 2: And lastly, story number three.
- 9:47Speaker 3: One of the main promises from Donald Trump was that
- 9:49Speaker 3: he was going to make America healthy again. Insert RFK Junior,
- 9:53Speaker 3: who is on a crusade to make sure we stop,
- 9:56Speaker 3: as he describes it, poisoning our children. Not only is
- 10:00Speaker 3: it about the basics like food die. But it's also
- 10:03Speaker 3: about processed foods, and many believe that processed foods are
- 10:07Speaker 3: important because they're cheap. RFK Junior says, no, no, no,
- 10:11Speaker 3: you end up paying a higher cost in the long run.
- 10:13Speaker 3: He did a sit down interview in front of the
- 10:15Speaker 3: White House talking about what is next with making America
- 10:19Speaker 3: healthy again, and here is what he had to say
- 10:22Speaker 3: in sixty days.
- 10:23Speaker 6: On ultra processed foods and getting into that here. You
- 10:26Speaker 6: were born into a privileged background, obviously not something you
- 10:30Speaker 6: can control. But I wonder what you would say to
- 10:33Speaker 6: maybe a single mom of two kids who's reading this
- 10:36Speaker 6: report about how harmful these cheap but very accessible foods
- 10:40Speaker 6: are for her family and saying, well, you know, sometimes
- 10:42Speaker 6: that's the best we can do, and that's why that's
- 10:45Speaker 6: what's on the food or at the table at the
- 10:47Speaker 6: end of the day, or that's what's in their lunchbox.
- 10:50Speaker 7: It's an illusion to think that process food is cheap,
- 10:52Speaker 7: because you end up paying for it with diabetes, you
- 10:55Speaker 7: end up paying for it with automun dysregulation, with mitochondrial dysfunction,
- 11:00Speaker 7: and with inflammation, and you end up paying much higher
- 11:04Speaker 7: cause in the long run. But there are food deserts
- 11:07Speaker 7: in this country where people at this point have a
- 11:11Speaker 7: hard time getting access. There are I met with the
- 11:14Speaker 7: technology health technology companies this week and it was an
- 11:17Speaker 7: extraordinary meeting and one of the stements they made is
- 11:20Speaker 7: that there's no place in this country in the lower
- 11:22Speaker 7: forty eight you can't get access to good foods. It's
- 11:25Speaker 7: not easy access that has had been in the past,
- 11:28Speaker 7: and that's been part of the economic drivers and also
- 11:31Speaker 7: the fact that people don't understand that these process foods
- 11:34Speaker 7: are poisoned.
- 11:35Speaker 5: More and more.
- 11:36Speaker 7: And you're watching watching companies now that are changing their
- 11:41Speaker 7: ingredients because of this movement, that are making good food
- 11:44Speaker 7: more available to Americans because they're demanding it. There was
- 11:48Speaker 7: no demand for it before. This report is about getting
- 11:52Speaker 7: every American to demand the accessibility to good whole food
- 11:57Speaker 7: in their neighborhoods and that you know it's going to
- 11:59Speaker 7: be a process, but it's already happening. You see these
- 12:03Speaker 7: big fast food conglamorates that are switching from seed oils
- 12:07Speaker 7: to beef califat you see, and then reducing the ingredients.
- 12:11Speaker 7: You see Chobani yogurt changing its ingredients because of the
- 12:15Speaker 7: demand that has happened because of the MAHA movement. We
- 12:18Speaker 7: are going to make sure they have the apps, that
- 12:20Speaker 7: mothers who go into the grocery store have an app
- 12:23Speaker 7: that they can show on the Senate flash on the
- 12:27Speaker 7: bar code of every product and get a green light,
- 12:29Speaker 7: red light or yellow light that will allow the at
- 12:32Speaker 7: Justice creating it. We're working with industry to do it,
- 12:35Speaker 7: and they're already doing it. You know that Mark Heyman's
- 12:37Speaker 7: company has done it. Patrick's seems a company has done it.
- 12:42Speaker 7: There are many many apps out there that I use.
- 12:44Speaker 7: One called Yukka is very my wife and I considered invaluable.
- 12:48Speaker 7: You can go into any grocery store flashing at any
- 12:51Speaker 7: product and you can get a go or a no
- 12:53Speaker 7: on it. And as that happens the market. We're not
- 12:56Speaker 7: trying to create an anti state here. We're trying to
- 12:58Speaker 7: create mark drive market forces that will drive change in
- 13:01Speaker 7: the kind of food Americans get and into good information
- 13:05Speaker 7: and good science.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Isn't it amazing how the media just can't stand the
- 13:09Speaker 3: fact that RFK Junior and Donald Trump are working together
- 13:14Speaker 3: asking questions about processed food, doing what they can to
- 13:18Speaker 3: help America be healthier again and to protect kids from
- 13:22Speaker 3: childhood abuc rates that we've never seen before. I love
- 13:26Speaker 3: that they're doing this, and it's really sad that the
- 13:29Speaker 3: media is fighting them, not because they disagree with having
- 13:32Speaker 3: healthier kids, but they can't stand the fact that it's
- 13:34Speaker 3: Donald Trump doing it.
- 13:36Speaker 2: With RFK Junior, thank you for listening to the forty
- 13:39Speaker 2: seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson. Please make sure you
