- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. Y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like the million bucks things. And it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not good. Steve to mother, start joy. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turn you very You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn got to turn them out to the water, the water.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your back, h I sure will. Good
- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now. One and only Steve hart Man got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. Yeah, I do. Man. God been so
- 2:17Speaker 1: good to me over the years, in spite of all
- 2:19Speaker 1: the mistakes I've made, in spite of all the dirt
- 2:23Speaker 1: I've done to myself. I'm talking about when in no
- 2:28Speaker 1: one I was wrong, His grace and mercy has forgiven
- 2:33Speaker 1: me for all of my sins. God can forgive you
- 2:38Speaker 1: of all of your sins. Everything you've done, God can
- 2:43Speaker 1: forgive you. He can wipe your slate clean. Now. Might
- 2:47Speaker 1: you might have some you know, things you got to
- 2:50Speaker 1: deal with because of some of your actions. Understand that.
- 2:53Speaker 1: But you can wipe your slates. You can wipe your
- 2:56Speaker 1: slate clean with God and start again. You can repair.
- 3:00Speaker 1: God has mercy and grace. You could be forgiven by God.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Now people answer another story. Some people may never forgive you,
- 3:08Speaker 1: for you've heard them all, or maybe they're accusing you
- 3:11Speaker 1: of doing something else. But you know they may never
- 3:13Speaker 1: forgive you. But God, God is in the redemption business man.
- 3:18Speaker 1: God will forgive you for every sin you've ever committed.
- 3:23Speaker 1: But you gotta want forgiveness now. And then you got
- 3:25Speaker 1: to come correct because what you can't do is you
- 3:28Speaker 1: can't shoot him the crap. Now you can say that
- 3:31Speaker 1: conversation with him. You know, whatever you told your lawyer, whatever,
- 3:36Speaker 1: whatever you told the victims, whatever you told, whatever the
- 3:40Speaker 1: story is you got going if it ain't the truth,
- 3:44Speaker 1: you could say that with God, because please know, he know,
- 3:47Speaker 1: and he know your heart. He know if you're trying
- 3:50Speaker 1: to manipulate somebody just for the system, if you're trying
- 3:53Speaker 1: to say this just so you can get out, He
- 3:55Speaker 1: know all of that. So if you're planning on shucking
- 3:58Speaker 1: him and jiving him, save your breath before you wind
- 4:01Speaker 1: up digging yourself in a deeper hole. Just let me
- 4:04Speaker 1: give you that piece of advice. Because he ain't nothing
- 4:06Speaker 1: to play with it. He's too great to be played
- 4:09Speaker 1: with and so with that in mind, I want to
- 4:12Speaker 1: share some positive stuff with you to smartn man. I
- 4:14Speaker 1: want to say this now. I want to remind you
- 4:17Speaker 1: not to let your circumstance and your situations dictate your
- 4:22Speaker 1: future or your results. I'm gonna say this again. This
- 4:27Speaker 1: is important information. Man. Don't let your circumstance and situations
- 4:33Speaker 1: dictate your future or your results. Do you know that
- 4:38Speaker 1: in order to get a different future or some different results,
- 4:43Speaker 1: you control that entire situation. It is you. It is
- 4:48Speaker 1: your thoughts that control the entire situation. It is how
- 4:52Speaker 1: you look at the situation that will determine how the
- 4:55Speaker 1: situation is for you. See, the same situation can be
- 5:00Speaker 1: totally different for two different people because you can say
- 5:03Speaker 1: you look at the examples of history, just just look
- 5:05Speaker 1: look in your neighborhood. How can that was a book
- 5:08Speaker 1: that a guy wrote one time who had the name.
- 5:11Speaker 1: He had a name, and he did some research and
- 5:14Speaker 1: he found a guy that grew up at the same
- 5:16Speaker 1: age in the same neighborhood as him, with the exact
- 5:20Speaker 1: same name. He went on to become a corporate CEO.
- 5:25Speaker 1: The other man was an inmate, and they had the
- 5:31Speaker 1: same name, grew up in the same neighborhood. They were
- 5:35Speaker 1: both brothers, you know not, I'm just saying brothers men.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And they grew and they went to different Because how
- 5:42Speaker 1: can two different two people the same situation and the
- 5:46Speaker 1: results turn out so different. It is because of the
- 5:49Speaker 1: thought process of one was completely different from the thought
- 5:52Speaker 1: process of the other. You control it. You don't have
- 5:55Speaker 1: to let your circumstances and your situations dictate your future
- 6:00Speaker 1: or your results. Here's the way it works. This is
- 6:04Speaker 1: so you can understand this. Your mind. It's the controlling
- 6:08Speaker 1: factor of your thoughts. Your thoughts are the controlling factor
- 6:13Speaker 1: of your outcome. The Bible says a man is as
- 6:18Speaker 1: he thinketh. Please don't short play this scripture here, because
- 6:22Speaker 1: this one is the real deal. This is the basis
- 6:26Speaker 1: of every self improvement book you'll ever read. It's already
- 6:31Speaker 1: written in the Bible. The Bible has all the information
- 6:33Speaker 1: you need. But in case you need a little bit
- 6:36Speaker 1: of clarity in some simple modern day language, then they
- 6:39Speaker 1: have self improvement books. They are all based on Biblical scripture.
- 6:43Speaker 1: A man is as he thinketh. That's why Norman Vincent
- 6:46Speaker 1: Peale wrote the book The Power of Positive Thinking. That's
- 6:50Speaker 1: why a book came out called The Magic of Thinking Big.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That's why a book came out called Think and Grow
- 6:57Speaker 1: Rich by Napoleon Hell that it all of you. All
- 7:00Speaker 1: these titles that I've read that have mattered in my
- 7:03Speaker 1: life the most, These three major books that I've read,
- 7:06Speaker 1: they all say one thing. Think thinking thoughts, because that's
- 7:10Speaker 1: what controls the outcome. Your brain works one of two ways.
- 7:18Speaker 1: It works positive or negative. It works good, which is
- 7:24Speaker 1: under the column of positive, or to work evil, which
- 7:28Speaker 1: is under the column of negative. It will have faith,
- 7:32Speaker 1: which is under the column of positive, or you will
- 7:35Speaker 1: operate in fear, which is in the column of negative.
- 7:39Speaker 1: That is the only way your mind works. Your mind
- 7:43Speaker 1: is a factory that's comprised of workers. Those workers are
- 7:48Speaker 1: controlled by two formings, forming positive and forming negative. But
- 7:53Speaker 1: guess what the CEO of the company, the head, man,
- 7:58Speaker 1: the boss is you. You come to work in the
- 8:02Speaker 1: morning and you say, man, today is a great day.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I'm going to take steps towards brightening my future. I'm
- 8:10Speaker 1: going to take another step into making that dream come
- 8:13Speaker 1: true that I've been thinking about. I'm gonna take another
- 8:16Speaker 1: step forward in the development and the changing of my life.
- 8:20Speaker 1: In a positive, good direction. If you come to work
- 8:23Speaker 1: and say that every day as the CEO, the boss,
- 8:27Speaker 1: the formans can only obey you, so that what you
- 8:30Speaker 1: just said was a series of positive statements then forming
- 8:34Speaker 1: positive steps to the forefront. He said, I got your
- 8:37Speaker 1: boss right away. He turns around, He blows the whistle.
- 8:42Speaker 1: He alerts all the workers in the factory today as
- 8:45Speaker 1: a good day. Today, we will take steps towards our future.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Today we are putting ourselves on track to get a
- 8:51Speaker 1: little bit closer to making our dreams come true. Today
- 8:55Speaker 1: we will be assembling all the things we need to
- 8:58Speaker 1: make our dreams come true and our life better in
- 9:01Speaker 1: the right direction. Everybody break. The workers in the factory
- 9:05Speaker 1: turn around and manufacture thoughts to justify the orders given
- 9:11Speaker 1: by the boss, which is you. You are the CEO
- 9:15Speaker 1: of your corporation. If you don't own nothing else, you
- 9:19Speaker 1: own everything that's going on between your two ears. You
- 9:23Speaker 1: are the CEO of that corporation. If that corporation is
- 9:26Speaker 1: a good one, it's because you set it up that way.
- 9:29Speaker 1: If your corporation is a bad one, it's because you
- 9:32Speaker 1: set it up that day. If you trying, if you
- 9:35Speaker 1: pushing towards your dreams and you see the possibility of
- 9:38Speaker 1: things happening in your life is because you, as the CEO,
- 9:41Speaker 1: set it up that way. If you ain't got nothing popping,
- 9:44Speaker 1: if you just want to be a criminal taking stuff
- 9:46Speaker 1: from people, throwing your life out the window, you're gonna
- 9:48Speaker 1: be an inmate. You're gonna be sitting there there and
- 9:50Speaker 1: you're gonna be mad at everybody. You got nobody be
- 9:52Speaker 1: mad at. But shoot, you understand what I'm telling you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: This morning you're listening to show. Ladies and gentlemen, it
- 10:03Speaker 1: is here. It is another morning on the Steve Harvey
- 10:06Speaker 1: Morning Show. So glad you can make it here with
- 10:08Speaker 1: us today. We assume you tuned in because of your
- 10:11Speaker 1: own free will, which is great, and we're not gonna
- 10:14Speaker 1: let you down. We got it for you today. It's
- 10:16Speaker 1: all been worked out. We got producers on this show.
- 10:19Speaker 1: We got people that know how to have planned out
- 10:21Speaker 1: how the show gonna go. I ain't got nothing to
- 10:23Speaker 1: do with that. All I mean is is here, That's all.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And if they say we talk about this, then that's
- 10:34Speaker 1: what we talked about. What did you just say? All
- 10:37Speaker 1: I mean is all I mean is here? Yeah? Yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 1: I think I said it ain't even close to nothing
- 10:46Speaker 1: cuss at all. Okay, so what okay? So how should
- 10:53Speaker 1: it have been said? Please? The only thing I am
- 10:55Speaker 1: is here, the only thing, the only thing I am, Yeah,
- 11:00Speaker 1: it's here, instead of all I mean is oh I am.
- 11:07Speaker 1: This ain't the babbling English. I'm sorry, my king. The
- 11:19Speaker 1: last time we had a key well the king in
- 11:22Speaker 1: the comedy. All I mean is is hell. Okay, Yeah,
- 11:28Speaker 1: that's what it is today. So I'm ready. So you know,
- 11:30Speaker 1: I'm excited. Oh you know, it's gonna be a full
- 11:34Speaker 1: day for me again today. So I'm just looking forward
- 11:36Speaker 1: to grateful right after I get through tests. Got to
- 11:39Speaker 1: go through family feud exactly what Yeah, I get to
- 11:45Speaker 1: go family fugere. Yeah, I don't have to go. I
- 11:49Speaker 1: get to go. Yeah. My driver has COVID and so
- 11:54Speaker 1: now I had to take COVID tests last night and
- 11:58Speaker 1: I'll have to take one and soon as I get
- 12:00Speaker 1: to work this morning and sold it. We gotta take
- 12:03Speaker 1: two tests and then I have to take a test
- 12:05Speaker 1: again the next day with your the regular test day.
- 12:08Speaker 1: So he complained about a fever over the weekend and
- 12:12Speaker 1: then bots asked to work anyway, So that's great, man.
- 12:18Speaker 1: When you get a fever right now, what you think
- 12:21Speaker 1: that is? That? Don't cross your COVID. That's called sit
- 12:23Speaker 1: your behind. That ain't nowhere. You got a fever in
- 12:27Speaker 1: the middle of summer, it's already hot, and you yeah, yeah,
- 12:31Speaker 1: he just said, I just thought I had a fever.
- 12:33Speaker 1: The hold of They've been talking about these symptings for
- 12:35Speaker 1: damn near a year and a half. Right now, you
- 12:38Speaker 1: get one of the major symptoms and you thought it
- 12:40Speaker 1: was just a fever. Oh really, but he's he's in
- 12:44Speaker 1: good shape. Though he's in good spirits. He's not happening
- 12:47Speaker 1: serious symptoms of vaccinated, right and he didn't get the vaccination.
- 12:55Speaker 1: H his ass is almost out of work technique as
- 13:00Speaker 1: you keep talking. Yeah more, I think about this right here.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Get your ass down there and get that Fascination's what
- 13:08Speaker 1: you need to do, all right? For example? Yeah, yeah,
- 13:13Speaker 1: all right, who thank you? Get better? Um anyway, all right?
- 13:17Speaker 1: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour she
- 13:20Speaker 1: came out here. I want to put his name out there. Well,
- 13:23Speaker 1: just get better. Kill you will kill you know? You
- 13:27Speaker 1: know he was so much he was a lot of fun,
- 13:33Speaker 1: all right, asked the clo is coming coming up? Next
- 13:37Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning show time.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Now we're asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 13:49Speaker 1: in the building. Here we go. This one is from
- 13:51Speaker 1: Anonymous in Charlotte. Anonymous writes, I'm a thirty two year
- 13:55Speaker 1: old married woman and I want to divorce badly, but
- 13:58Speaker 1: my husband won't give it to me. We been married
- 14:00Speaker 1: for three years and he's already had an affair. He
- 14:03Speaker 1: has he was seen kissing a co worker in the
- 14:05Speaker 1: elevator at work, and the security guard at his building
- 14:08Speaker 1: goes to my church and told me. My husband tried
- 14:11Speaker 1: to downplay it, and he said it's not cheating. If
- 14:14Speaker 1: he's got nerve enough to do that, I want to
- 14:17Speaker 1: lead him before his cheating gets a lot worse. Why
- 14:21Speaker 1: would he? Why won't he let me out of this
- 14:22Speaker 1: doomed marriage? What what do you mean? Let you happen? Right?
- 14:27Speaker 1: I get it? Go down there in file. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:32Speaker 1: this ain't no, you ain't hell hostage. You're asking him
- 14:36Speaker 1: sign the papers. You ain't gonna do that. Go down
- 14:38Speaker 1: there in file. They're gonna get the papers to him.
- 14:41Speaker 1: They're gonna bring him right down that to the job
- 14:43Speaker 1: in front of the lady. Easy things right here? All right,
- 14:48Speaker 1: moving one? You talking to the man? Let me tell
- 14:57Speaker 1: you something. I can't tell you how to win nothing,
- 14:59Speaker 1: but she'll get out listening again. Yeah, all right, Carol,
- 15:05Speaker 1: and Mobile says. I'm in my mid sixties and there's
- 15:08Speaker 1: a special guy that's been in my life for over
- 15:10Speaker 1: thirty years. We dated before I met my husband, and
- 15:13Speaker 1: I still think about him. I recently found out that
- 15:16Speaker 1: he got remarried when my husband and I ran into
- 15:19Speaker 1: him and his new wife at dinner. The next day,
- 15:23Speaker 1: I jokingly sent him a text saying that I was jealous.
- 15:27Speaker 1: His wife saw it and replied that she would be
- 15:29Speaker 1: sure to tell my husband that I'm texting her husband.
- 15:32Speaker 1: If she ever sees him again, my husband will kill me.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Should I mention to him this to him first, don't
- 15:45Speaker 1: start let sleeping dogs lie. Yeah, that's what's the chance
- 15:49Speaker 1: of the y'all running up into him again? Hey? Little
- 15:52Speaker 1: to mine? Then? Well, I just I don't know, you
- 15:56Speaker 1: know what, unless y'all all stay in the same Senior
- 16:00Speaker 1: Citizens home, you know, because midsix. Yeah, that's y'all all
- 16:05Speaker 1: in the same sentences home. Your chance running into him
- 16:08Speaker 1: and slim I just be quiet, wouldn't say nothing, contact delete,
- 16:15Speaker 1: She still has his number. All you got to do
- 16:18Speaker 1: is say, what are you talking about? I've never text him,
- 16:23Speaker 1: I don't have his number. And what you you? You
- 16:26Speaker 1: got me mixed up with somebody else? Take his phone?
- 16:29Speaker 1: I number out your phone and then that's it. She lying,
- 16:33Speaker 1: she tripped, y'all got what's y'all? All is truth? Let's
- 16:38Speaker 1: get out your nerves? Say about? Are you disgusted with
- 16:42Speaker 1: the all? It's truth? Should I tell him? Where's telling
- 16:46Speaker 1: the truth? Fault? They say it to set your free dog,
- 16:49Speaker 1: that's what they say. Yeah, you're gonna ask, gonna get
- 16:53Speaker 1: a divorce? Single and you yeah, you had no business
- 16:58Speaker 1: texting him anyway. You knew dah, you know you're all.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Don't make that mistaken. Yeah whatever, All right? Moving on.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Kadijia in New York says, I'm a forty seven year
- 17:09Speaker 1: old woman married to a man that I am taking
- 17:12Speaker 1: care of. I didn't mind taking care of him because
- 17:15Speaker 1: when I met him, he had just won three hundred
- 17:18Speaker 1: thousand dollars on a scratch off and he was very
- 17:21Speaker 1: generous to me. Well, now that we're broke again, he's
- 17:26Speaker 1: waiting for the next big payout. He plays a lottery
- 17:29Speaker 1: and goes to casinos, hoping to get lucky again. The
- 17:32Speaker 1: only problem is that he's gambling with my money. I
- 17:35Speaker 1: want him to focus on getting a job, but he
- 17:37Speaker 1: said he won't ever work for the man again. It's
- 17:41Speaker 1: my husband a lost call, the man crazy. They still
- 17:45Speaker 1: say the man I ain't gonna His plan is the
- 17:55Speaker 1: lottery and gambling. Yeah, one three hundred thousand dollars. They
- 18:01Speaker 1: blew it all. They're broke again. Yeah, because you know
- 18:05Speaker 1: how much of that he spent on some more tickets
- 18:07Speaker 1: and at the casino to the lottery two hundred Yeah.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I don't know why you won't work for the man.
- 18:14Speaker 1: You shouldn't be sending the man a lot of your money.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Who you think owned the lotto? The man who owns
- 18:21Speaker 1: the casino, the man. You ain't working for him. You
- 18:25Speaker 1: played with him though. That's for damn showy bro. Bro.
- 18:30Speaker 1: That's not a good deal. And his plan is to
- 18:32Speaker 1: hit the lotto and to gamble his way back to
- 18:35Speaker 1: where he was three hundred thousand. I don't know how
- 18:37Speaker 1: long y'all thought that was gonna last. Let me explain
- 18:39Speaker 1: something all out goal without no income listen to me.
- 18:46Speaker 1: All out go without any more income equals broke. So
- 19:01Speaker 1: that three hundred thousand you got, that's why you broke.
- 19:06Speaker 1: You can't. You can't just spend it without nothing else
- 19:09Speaker 1: coming in. That's not how this works. Sorry, thinking about
- 19:14Speaker 1: those glory days all right? Jose And Oklahoma says, I've
- 19:20Speaker 1: been married for twelve years and I can't stand my
- 19:23Speaker 1: wife's sister. She's always flirting with me as if she's
- 19:27Speaker 1: a beauty queen, and it's disgusting because she has a
- 19:30Speaker 1: terrible body and a flat butt. It's so bad that
- 19:35Speaker 1: my wife knows she flirts with me, and she's not
- 19:37Speaker 1: even worried about it. The other day, her sister was
- 19:40Speaker 1: visiting and she sat on my lap and my wife
- 19:42Speaker 1: was sitting right there. I asked my wife why she
- 19:46Speaker 1: thought this type of behavior was okay, and she just
- 19:48Speaker 1: laughed it off. Why is my wife allowing this mess
- 19:51Speaker 1: to continue? He knows her sister ain't got nobody. She
- 19:58Speaker 1: hu looking at her back, sister. She knows her sista
- 20:02Speaker 1: ain't old girl's and she knows her sister just let
- 20:06Speaker 1: her live. Girl. He just playing at you. She ain't
- 20:08Speaker 1: got nobody. Don't nobody won't and that's what it is.
- 20:11Speaker 1: And what you're gonna have to do is you're gonna
- 20:13Speaker 1: have to check. No, no, no, no, no, no, oh no,
- 20:16Speaker 1: she ugreed too, now she does. He didn't say that.
- 20:19Speaker 1: He just said terrible body and flat button. No read
- 20:23Speaker 1: you read your description. Oh she's not a beauty. If
- 20:27Speaker 1: she's a beauty queen. See, don't worry about the flat button.
- 20:31Speaker 1: She act like she a beauty queen as if she
- 20:36Speaker 1: and she got a bad body. She blowed and tow up.
- 20:42Speaker 1: We gotta go slo Coming up next, nephew Tommy with
- 20:46Speaker 1: frank back. You're listening show coming up at the top

- 33:12Speaker 1: the tail on that hole, all right, gentlemen, miss and
- 33:17Speaker 1: trip okay, thank you, this is andwer put the news
- 33:20Speaker 1: well on this the twenty first day after the collapse
- 33:22Speaker 1: of that seaside condo building just north of Miami Beach,
- 33:26Speaker 1: now ninety five bodies have been pulled from the rubble.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Mayor Danielle eleven Cavis said that it remains an intense
- 33:32Speaker 1: and immense arduous task. We've now moved over eighteen million
- 33:37Speaker 1: pounds of concrete and debris, and eight hundred and ninety
- 33:42Speaker 1: two trucks have come through the site transporting the debris.
- 33:46Speaker 1: It's a lot. Authorities are now searching for some fourteen
- 33:49Speaker 1: other missing people. So far, eighty five of the bodies
- 33:52Speaker 1: have been positively identified. A grand jury investigation also underway
- 33:56Speaker 1: into the partial collapse of the Champlain Towers South building.
- 33:59Speaker 1: President Biden, and addressing an audience in Philadelphia yesterday, said
- 34:02Speaker 1: that voting rights for all Americans is the fundamental test
- 34:05Speaker 1: of our time his quote, and the federal legislation is
- 34:08Speaker 1: needed now to counter efforts by Republican led states to
- 34:12Speaker 1: restrict access to voting, especially by minorities. Mister Biden said
- 34:15Speaker 1: it's a nationwide movement, which he calls a twenty first
- 34:18Speaker 1: century Jim Crow assault, and although he didn't mention Donald
- 34:21Speaker 1: Trump by name, he did suggest that this whole movement
- 34:25Speaker 1: was founded on the ex president's big lie America. If
- 34:29Speaker 1: you lose, accept the results, you follow the constitution, you
- 34:33Speaker 1: try again. You don't call facts fake and then try
- 34:38Speaker 1: to bring down the American experiment just because you're unhappy.
- 34:42Speaker 1: And mister Biden's comments came as Democratic state lawmakers from
- 34:45Speaker 1: Texas left that state yesterday, so their GOP colleagues couldn't
- 34:49Speaker 1: have the number of legislators needed to officially pass a
- 34:52Speaker 1: bill that greatly restricts access to voting in the Longhorn State.
- 34:55Speaker 1: A lot of people felt this was coming to shake
- 34:58Speaker 1: up in Haiti. The top security officials at the presidential palace.
- 35:00Speaker 1: In the wake of that brutal assassination of the country's president.
- 35:03Speaker 1: One of the big questions was always how did Colombian
- 35:07Speaker 1: murderers enter his private residence so easily and why none
- 35:11Speaker 1: of his security detail was killed or even injured. More
- 35:14Speaker 1: than two dozen assassins storm Moses Joe Mois's home, killing
- 35:17Speaker 1: him and wounding the first lady who's still in the
- 35:19Speaker 1: Florida hospital right now. Eighteen Colombians, two Haitian Americans, and
- 35:23Speaker 1: a Haitian doctor who's been living in Florida are in custody.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Some other suspects still at large. Finally, a mural honoring
- 35:30Speaker 1: the late rapper dmx un bailed outside his childhood home
- 35:33Speaker 1: at Yonkers, New York yesterday. The mural features, of course,
- 35:36Speaker 1: the likeness of the famous rapper and actor, first from
- 35:39Speaker 1: his song I Looked through My Eyes and a whole
- 35:41Speaker 1: lot of people one time on the outside waiting and
- 35:45Speaker 1: singing with his music. Dmx or Earl Simmons died last
- 35:49Speaker 1: April of heart attack at age fifty. Now back to
- 35:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, Morning show. You're listening to the dry morning show.
- 35:57Speaker 1: So T Payne went off on social media because t
- 36:01Speaker 1: Payne was upset. He says, artists today are doing the
- 36:03Speaker 1: same kind of music. Take a listen. Stop just can't
- 36:08Speaker 1: do something else, Just damn it, do something different music.

- 36:22Speaker 1: literally with baby in their names, that's already doing all
- 36:26Speaker 1: the music. You want, do something else, Do something else.
- 36:31Speaker 1: That's it. That's all we want. Do something else. Holy,
- 36:37Speaker 1: do something else. Holy stop sitting in this book and
- 36:43Speaker 1: then get mad. Don't like it. Jesus damn cap dances
- 36:49Speaker 1: Christ do something else. Chancing right there wasn't ain't man
- 37:00Speaker 1: because all the music, he says, sounds the exact same.
- 37:04Speaker 1: He man, I'm little just saying this right here. Y'all
- 37:07Speaker 1: need to quit sending him music until you change. Y'all,

- 37:36Speaker 1: who every baby baby riddles, baby jackson, baby face, baby
- 37:46Speaker 1: come here, baby over that baby shoes, baby day, baby boy?
- 37:53Speaker 1: What y'all doing? Stop sending me the same damn music.
- 37:58Speaker 1: I haven't heard it all you do and it don't
- 38:07Speaker 1: send me down down to that in it. I want
- 38:12Speaker 1: a new rap. I want to hear the rappers, this
- 38:15Speaker 1: same rappers, rabbit in Abby. I'm stop getting your name
- 38:28Speaker 1: rope around your neck. We know your name, your name,
- 38:35Speaker 1: Stop writing only nickname. What's your mama name? What's your name?
- 38:38Speaker 1: On the chain that your mama gave you? Your name down?
- 38:42Speaker 1: Put hell on the chain, the meet you fucking meet
- 38:46Speaker 1: this on the chain You ain't probably ain't got enough
- 38:48Speaker 1: money for that. Everybody. You gotta call yourself a little baby,
- 38:51Speaker 1: just a little now a time. It is, Yeah, all right?
- 39:00Speaker 1: Coming up with thirty four minutes after the hour, Who
- 39:03Speaker 1: crazy Texas Governor Greg Abbott? Oh he's mad too, we'll
- 39:09Speaker 1: talk about it. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Nation, Steve Harvey Nation, Stay woke, Okay, stay woke,
- 39:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Nation and our listeners in Texas please over
- 39:31Speaker 1: fifty Texas Democratic lawmakers. I'm sure you've heard about this
- 39:34Speaker 1: by now left Austin, Texas for Washington, d C. In
- 39:39Speaker 1: order to deny the legislature the quorum needed to pass
- 39:43Speaker 1: new voting legislation. The bills on the table would add
- 39:47Speaker 1: new ID requirements for mail in ballots and ban twenty
- 39:51Speaker 1: four hour voting poll locations, drive through voting and ballot
- 39:56Speaker 1: drop boxes, and other matchers. Texas Representative Martinez Fisher told
- 40:01Speaker 1: NBC News, our democracy is on the line. It became
- 40:07Speaker 1: very clear to us that this weekend any attempts to
- 40:11Speaker 1: negotiate some Democratic concessions were cut off, making it very
- 40:15Speaker 1: clear that Republicans were hell bent on having their way.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Excuse me. Meanwhile, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has vowed to
- 40:26Speaker 1: arrest Do you hear what I'm saying here? He's vowed
- 40:29Speaker 1: to arrest Democratic lawmakers who have left the state. He's
- 40:34Speaker 1: vowed to arrest them. Vice President Kamala Harris says she's
- 40:38Speaker 1: in support of the Texas Democrats and said this is
- 40:41Speaker 1: why we need federal voting laws, and we agree right
- 40:47Speaker 1: for leaving the state, though how can you do that
- 40:51Speaker 1: if it's against the law in your state? And Timothy Governor, Yes,
- 40:55Speaker 1: because they are working, and so he's trying to say
- 40:59Speaker 1: that they're breaking the rules and all this thing. He's
- 41:01Speaker 1: going to arrest them when they come back to the state.
- 41:05Speaker 1: That's what I want one push h We ain't got
- 41:11Speaker 1: to kill this. I just remember when I'm going to
- 41:16Speaker 1: knock up government. Believe how I locked him up. Get caught.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Let me explain. I want to give up. That's what
- 41:26Speaker 1: it sounded like when you chaid going down them steps.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I really I'm unable to can right now. I stop.
- 41:46Speaker 1: We need these federal voting but he's gonna do that.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Stop anyway. We need these federal voting rights bills like
- 42:00Speaker 1: Where the People Act or John Lewis's Voting Rights Act.
- 42:03Speaker 1: We need them to pass so the federal government can
- 42:05Speaker 1: make sure that these states do not undermine the voting
- 42:09Speaker 1: rights of people of color. And that's what this is
- 42:11Speaker 1: all about. They're just trying. This is all this is about. Listen, man,
- 42:16Speaker 1: this is all this is about. This has nothing to
- 42:19Speaker 1: do with all the democracy being upheld by Republicans. Republicans
- 42:29Speaker 1: are angry at the outcome of the last election. They
- 42:33Speaker 1: want to stop They lost the mail in votes. They
- 42:35Speaker 1: want to stop that. Yeah. What they do not know though,
- 42:39Speaker 1: is that they're hurting themselves. They're going to hurt themselves.
- 42:44Speaker 1: The Republicans are. I'm gonna tell you something. We're going
- 42:48Speaker 1: to vote no matter what you do. Yeah, because now
- 42:52Speaker 1: we hip to the game. See now that we know
- 42:54Speaker 1: you're trying to run game, we're gonna prove you wrong.
- 42:58Speaker 1: We're going to register to We're going to have all
- 43:01Speaker 1: the proper id on our radio shows. We're going to
- 43:05Speaker 1: educate our listeners. We're gonna have our listeners educate all
- 43:09Speaker 1: their people, and we're gonna vote anyway, and we're gonna
- 43:12Speaker 1: show up in large numbers, and we're gonna early register,
- 43:15Speaker 1: and we're gonna be counted the right way, and you're
- 43:17Speaker 1: gonna lose again. And Governor Kemp just announced that he
- 43:20Speaker 1: was running in the state of Georgia. Now we don't
- 43:23Speaker 1: know if he has any opposition right now, but if
- 43:26Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams run again, Kemp has served his last term
- 43:31Speaker 1: as the governor of this state. We will get behind
- 43:34Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams in a way like you've never seen, sir.
- 43:37Speaker 1: I have I have news for you, man, this this
- 43:41Speaker 1: could be your last who rock a matter of fact,
- 43:43Speaker 1: whoever run against you? That's it. By in the same
- 43:48Speaker 1: in Texas, we gotta vote in Texas, vote him out.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Abut this all kind of crisis happen in Texas. I
- 43:56Speaker 1: want this to be a great state. I was listening
- 43:58Speaker 1: to kemp Man. Just such a racist guy to pass
- 44:01Speaker 1: that bill and try to lock that lady up for
- 44:03Speaker 1: a lot. Knocking on the door. Nah man, all right,
- 44:06Speaker 1: coming up next, nephew, tell me is here with today's
- 44:09Speaker 1: prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 44:12Speaker 1: string show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:17Speaker 1: right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today.
- 44:20Speaker 1: The subject he's always sharp, always sharp, and smelly together
- 44:27Speaker 1: that don't go together. We'll get into that just a
- 44:32Speaker 1: little bit later. Bring your little shaw ass over here,
- 44:36Speaker 1: coming on, Thank you, thank you. All right, but right
- 44:40Speaker 1: now the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.

- 45:20Speaker 1: the back. Ter, No, this is Wilton, your daughter and
- 45:24Speaker 1: bit my son down. You can't just call my house
- 45:28Speaker 1: and tell me my daughter bit your say and be
- 45:30Speaker 1: cussing at me. Lady, I just said, your daughter Sakira
- 45:34Speaker 1: bit my son Joshua in the back, and I just no.
- 45:37Speaker 1: I just said no. Two things. One, my daughter wouldn't
- 45:39Speaker 1: bite nobody, and two, don't call my house with this tone.
- 45:43Speaker 1: I called with any kind of tone when I want
- 45:45Speaker 1: to call with all I'm saying is your daughter then
- 45:47Speaker 1: bit my son in the back. And I'm gonna tell you.
- 45:50Speaker 1: All I'm saying is don't call my house with this
- 45:53Speaker 1: at to saying some that my daughter beat your child
- 45:56Speaker 1: in the back. My daughter to has manners and she

- 47:33Speaker 1: my baby like you asked me to lower my child.

- 53:47Speaker 1: and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading your
- 53:50Speaker 1: letter live on the air, just like we're gonna read
- 53:53Speaker 1: this one right here. You hear that right here, right now,
- 53:55Speaker 1: It could be yours. You never know, you never know.
- 53:58Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. Got it for you here.
- 54:00Speaker 1: It is a strong Thank you, nephews. Subject, He's always
- 54:06Speaker 1: sharp and smelly. Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm in my late
- 54:10Speaker 1: fifties and I'm dating a man that is a few
- 54:12Speaker 1: years younger than I am. We've been together for eight years,
- 54:16Speaker 1: and it's been on and off because we live in
- 54:18Speaker 1: a small town, so everyone is always in everybody's business.
- 54:22Speaker 1: He's a cheapskate, and he knows he doesn't make enough
- 54:26Speaker 1: money to support me and his drinking habit, so I've
- 54:29Speaker 1: asked him for years to get a better job or
- 54:32Speaker 1: a second job. I used to dump him whenever he
- 54:35Speaker 1: got drunk and got accused of cheating on me, whether
- 54:38Speaker 1: it was true or not. I got tired of his
- 54:40Speaker 1: public intoxication, and he finally said to get me back,
- 54:44Speaker 1: he'd work on his drinking. So we've been back together
- 54:47Speaker 1: for about four months, and there's an all new problem
- 54:50Speaker 1: that's worse than all of the drinking and cheating. He's
- 54:54Speaker 1: got a problem with taking showers or baths and wearing
- 54:57Speaker 1: deodorant and clean undergarments. Don't get me wrong, whenever we
- 55:02Speaker 1: step out, he steps out correctly, and he's sharp from
- 55:06Speaker 1: head to toe. He loves wearing suits and cuff links,
- 55:09Speaker 1: and he accessorizes with Dora's so he's always turning heads
- 55:14Speaker 1: in our small town. He's also turning noses too, and
- 55:18Speaker 1: I could see it on other people's faces when they
- 55:20Speaker 1: get a whiff of him. I think when we were
- 55:23Speaker 1: broken up during COVID, he was working from home a lot,
- 55:26Speaker 1: and he decided that taking showers every other day or
- 55:29Speaker 1: a few days a week was okay. I've noticed that
- 55:32Speaker 1: if he, for example, showers on Monday morning, he won't
- 55:36Speaker 1: shower again until Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. I have
- 55:41Speaker 1: to constantly encourage him to take a bath, and he
- 55:44Speaker 1: will only wash up if he's too sleepy to take
- 55:47Speaker 1: a full bath. It's made our sex life very difficult
- 55:51Speaker 1: because of his aroma. How can I get this sharp
- 55:55Speaker 1: but smelly man to improve his hygiene? Please advise? Okay,
- 56:00Speaker 1: this letter is crazy. He drinks and stinks, So I
- 56:05Speaker 1: got to ask you, really, why do you need help
- 56:08Speaker 1: from us? I mean, this is a problem that you
- 56:10Speaker 1: can clear up yourself. I mean I wouldn't put up
- 56:14Speaker 1: with it. I know Steve wouldn't go for it either.
- 56:17Speaker 1: I don't know anyone who tolerates stink but a stinky
- 56:21Speaker 1: person himself. So why are you tolerating this? And why
- 56:25Speaker 1: do you need advice from us to tell you to?
- 56:29Speaker 1: I don't get it. This should be a deal breaker.
- 56:32Speaker 1: But here you are in this letter making excuses for him,
- 56:37Speaker 1: talking about he works from home now, so he only
- 56:40Speaker 1: takes a shower a couple of days a week, he
- 56:43Speaker 1: steps out correctly when he steps out, what but he
- 56:46Speaker 1: still stinks? You got to stop this and let his
- 56:49Speaker 1: stinky drunk but step out stinky and drunk by himself.
- 56:55Speaker 1: You know, if he won't wash or stop drinking. I
- 56:58Speaker 1: say nothing about this is sexy and you know that. Yeah,
- 57:01Speaker 1: it makes your sex life very difficult. You're how can
- 57:04Speaker 1: you even sleep with this? Why isn't this a deal
- 57:07Speaker 1: breaker for you? You can't be this desperate for a
- 57:11Speaker 1: man that you'll take this. I mean, after eight years,
- 57:14Speaker 1: you should be able to let him know exactly what's
- 57:16Speaker 1: on your mind. How this makes you feel all of that.
- 57:19Speaker 1: I think he stopped caring about himself. I think he
- 57:21Speaker 1: stopped caring about you, And I think it's time for
- 57:23Speaker 1: you now to stop to start caring about yourself and
- 57:27Speaker 1: what you want, because he's clearly in some kind of funk. Literally, Steve,
- 57:33Speaker 1: what's going on? I don't even really know how to
- 57:35Speaker 1: respond to this. Yeah, I'm really doing it, don't make
- 57:38Speaker 1: no damn Since, first of all, he too old for this.
- 57:42Speaker 1: You and your late fifties, you're dating a man that's
- 57:46Speaker 1: just a few years younger. And even if he in
- 57:48Speaker 1: his late faulty, you know you toil you run into
- 57:54Speaker 1: this right after that, we need to quit running into this.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Every little boy once he goes to school and find
- 58:03Speaker 1: out that girls are attractive, he started washing up. So
- 58:10Speaker 1: I don't know where we're at with this. You and
- 58:12Speaker 1: your late fifties, you're dating a man that's a little younger.
- 58:16Speaker 1: Y'all been together for eight years, and it's been off
- 58:20Speaker 1: and on because y'all live in a small town. So
- 58:22Speaker 1: everybody and everybody's business where y'all live. Yeah, but see,
- 58:29Speaker 1: I just small town. That's gonna come up several times
- 58:32Speaker 1: in this letter. So that's why I'm really curious about
- 58:34Speaker 1: this small town. Where is it? How small is it?
- 58:39Speaker 1: First of all, he's a cheap skate. He don't make
- 58:43Speaker 1: enough money to support me and his drinking habit. So
- 58:46Speaker 1: now let me do some man for you. He came
- 58:49Speaker 1: by a pint and buy you not need. At the
- 58:55Speaker 1: same time, boy where he worked, she said, he don't
- 59:01Speaker 1: make enough to support me and his drinking heaven, So
- 59:06Speaker 1: if he buy a paint on. All right, Let's let's
- 59:09Speaker 1: say he buy a philm or farty girl. You cutting
- 59:16Speaker 1: into the rent. So I've asked him for years. Listen
- 59:23Speaker 1: to me. I've asked him for years to get a
- 59:27Speaker 1: better job or a second job where he worked. So
- 59:34Speaker 1: how you had to beg him for years? And he
- 59:37Speaker 1: ain't got a he He ain't a cheap skate, this man,
- 59:41Speaker 1: poe see you call. You keep labeling it wrong. He
- 59:46Speaker 1: not a chieap skate, he poled. You've asked him to
- 59:50Speaker 1: get a better job or a second job. The man
- 59:53Speaker 1: ain't cheap, he just pole. He can't a far drinking
- 59:57Speaker 1: in you pick one. I used to dump him whenever
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: he got drunk, and how often was that? When we
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: come back, I'm just gonna tell you, I just I
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: really don't have nothing to say for you. So I'm
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: just trying to read this letter and see what sense
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: it made, because it don't make no damn sex. What
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: does she want from us? All right? We'll let her
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: two of see response coming up. Subject of a strawberry
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: letter today. He's always sharp and smelly. We'll get back
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: let's recap today. I'm just going to l recap. Let's
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: just go for the letter, she dave. The man is
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: younger than hood. The subject is he's always sharp his smell,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: which is a contradiction within itself. Yes, and we live
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: in a small towns and you've been off and on
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: because of everybody and everybody bis he's a chiepskate and
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: he knows he don't make enough money to support me
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: and his drinking happen. So now he's a man that
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: don't have enough to buy liquor and food. This is
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: not a cheap skate. This man is poor. I've been
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: here before. And please don't nobody to get me wrong
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: that I'm not knocking poor people. I'm knocking the fact
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: that you you're not labeling it right. You're calling him
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: a cheap skate because he can't afford to support you
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: in the drink in heaven so he can't buy licking food.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: This ain't cheap skate. I've asked him for years to
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: get a better job or a second job. You've been
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: asking a man for years to get a better job
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: or a second job, and he ain't done it for years.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: He keeps the same job. I used to dump him
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: whenever he got drunk and got accused of cheating on me,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: whether it was true or nothing. So now every time
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: he got drunk or he cheated on you, or you
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: heard he was cheating on you in this small town,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: you dumped him. That's why y'all off and on. But
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: then as soon as he gets sober, you're taking back.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: I got tired of his public intoxication. He finally said
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: to get me back, he'd work on his drinking. What
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: do that mean? So he's working on it, he's been
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: working on it harder. So we've been back together for
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: about four months, and there's an all new problem that's
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: worse than all the drinking and cheating. Now, let me
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: ask you a question. What could be worse than drinking
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: and cheating, Because what she's about to describe is not
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: worse than drinking and cheating. Drinking the cheating is the ultimate.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Because you all are getting nowhere. But you think he
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: got a problem. He got a problem with taking showers
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: of baths, wearing deolder and clean underwear. So why are
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: we still together? Though? Yeah, you don't, babe, shower were
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: deoldering or clean underwear? Why we've been back together for
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: four months now. Don't get me wrong, whenever we step out,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: he steps out correctly. He shot from head to toe.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: He loved wearing suits and cuff links, and he accessorizes
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: with for Doris. So he always turned the heads in
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: our small town. He's also turned the noses too. I
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: can see it from the look on other faces. You know,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: house fucking you got to be to have on a
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: shirt with cuff links, a suit coat and a hat
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: and they still smell your ass. Dude, you know how
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: gay you got to be. When you can come through
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: layers of clothing, you just gay. I think when we
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: were broken up doing COVID, he was working from home
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: a lot, and he decided to take in showers every
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: other day A few days week was okay. I've noticed
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: that if he, for example, showers on Monday morning, he
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: won't shower again or to Tuesday night. See, I'm nothing
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: to notice that, see, and I don't know how you
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: to set up and watch the pattern, how you to
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: watch the pattern develop? You got it down. So when
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: four months you notice on Monday, he probably ain't gonna
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: do nothing again a Wednesday. Right, For four months now,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I have to constantly encourage him to take a bath. Oh,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: now you're man a baby. Now you gotta tell listen
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: to a seven year old boy you had to take
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: a bath. I have to come. He will only wash
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: up if he's too sleepy to take a full bath.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: It's made our sex life very difficult because of his
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: a roma. Roma. That ain't what roman is. That's exactly.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: That ain't a roman exactly. That's when you smell exactly
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: like the crack of your butt. That's what exactly is.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: How can I get this shot but smelling man to
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: improve his high gi We don't know, We don't know
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: what you have to say to a fifty year old
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: man to wash itself. Me and showing nothing to help
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: you with this letter. But let me help you with
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: the title. He's always sharp, lady, chatter. Cheese is sharp.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: The smell of varnish is sharp. Helloa, you have a
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: smell turpet time? What that sharp? How about have you
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: ever when you was a little boy, your dumb ass
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: accidentally opened up a can of ball of ammonia and
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: smelled it. Real heart knocked men, that's sharp, sh motor
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: all is sharp. These are all the things that smell sharp.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Then burger cheese is sharp. Switch cheese and show your
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: man stink like cheese, blue cheer. Rememburger. Now, lady, we
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: ain't got nothing for you. I don't. I don't know
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: why you're dating this man. You need to really check yourself.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: You need to move out this town because if he
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: all you can get in this small town, it's time
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: to move. Yeah, you need to at lease at least
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: mood and making Georgia at lease because you got to
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: be somewhere small. I'm sorry, lady, we don't have nothing
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: for you. Do like you want to do, keep dating him.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: I think the real problem in this letter is you,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: because you settle for a man that's like this. I
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: think the bigger problem is you. So wake up, lady desperate. Yeah,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: all right, thank you. Steve. Post your comments on today's

- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Sports Talk with Junior. Right after this, you're listening Dave
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Junior, it is that time
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: time for Sports Talk with Junior. What you got for US. Yeah, well,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: we had the Major League All Star Events. I want
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: to say congratulations to Peter Lonsofa winning the home run Derby.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: That is his second time he beat j Mencini. He
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: won with thirty five home runs. It was pretty nice.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: It was a nice home run derby. I give him that. Uh,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: the for the All Star Game, the All Star Game,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: we didn't watch it, so yeah, yeah, we ain't baseball people.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Well I didn't do I couldn't tell you. All we
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: know shirty is they hit the ball, it went somewhere
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: and somebody won. You know. That's abody had a baseball though,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: right at all. Yeah, I'm waiting I'm waiting on I'm
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: waiting on the playoffs. That's when I started watching base
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: October baseball, good October. I'm not even really a big
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: NBA All Star fan of the game anymore. I used to.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: I used to go off on that. I used to
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: go to all the All Star games. I'm not a
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: big fan of the All Star Game anymore. And the
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: dunk contest suggest I don't know what they're doing, but
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: it's okay, all right, Well to check this out on Also,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: the USA men's Olympic basketball team has lost back to
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: back exhibition games. That has not happened since nineteen ninety two.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: We lost to Nigeria and Australia. So you know, there's
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: a lot of factors in for that. You saw all
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: that time, I saw Durant and get the ball blocked.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: I didn't see that. Yeah, you know, man, it's just
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: they're they're underestimating these players. But the USA team hasn't
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: played together. Uh, they're not really committed yet. They don't
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: understand that these people that they're playing a ballers. Man,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: Nigeria has a team. Nigeria has a team. These cats
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: can ball. Australia, they can ball. And when they played
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: the United States All Stars team, it's like they're playing
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: in the NBA finals. They already know that the NBA
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: has the best basketball players on the planet and they
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: measure themselves up against that and they come in up
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: for the game. Nigeria wasn't playing with these boys. And
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: I don't know who y'all think Nigeria is not. They
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: don't Nigeria's is Africans Okay, game player with you? Do
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: you even just come on there in Buffalo? These dudes,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: these hood boys up, these cats grow up into suburbs.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: They Africans. Do you think your hood hood? Okay, they Africans,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: We got a whole Yeah, they got a whole nother
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: level of hood for you over there. And they bawling.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Then they gangster dudes. Now they men. So they come
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: in the ball and they can play in the NBA.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: NBA basketball is a global sport now. I think they
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: played a little bit lacks of days ago cause their
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: exhibition games. But they're gonna have to tighten it up
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: because these cats is gonna only get better. Yep, thank you.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, gonna have
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: an office question of the day for you. You're gonna
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: like it. Right after this, you're listening to morning show.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: All right, guys, listen up. Here's today's office question. All right.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: So let's just say a magical genie appears somewhere and
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: off from out of nowhere to somewhere and offers you
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: a choice. Listen to the choices. One million dollars to
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: you and untaxed dollars or or the ability to go
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: back to the age of eighteen and start your adult
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: life over. Which would you choose? And why, Steve Harvey
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: give me one million tax free dollars. Hell, no, I'm
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: not sending to be that dumb ass eighteen hours, no
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: s no law, no law. I ain't got I ain't
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: got relive nothing I did. But why don't you know
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: what you know? Now? Like all my life was a mistake.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: My whole damn a dudhood was a mistake. I ain't
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: gonna do that no more. Somebody asked me the other day,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: if you could go back to any age in your life,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: what would you go back to. I said, sixty four
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: last shield. I'm gonna give. That's all. I'm not going back.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: No for ant now in him, I go back to eighteen.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Give me this million dollars man, tax free money? Who
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: I got good sense? Now? I take that. If I
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: had a million dollars when I was eighteen, man, I'll
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: be in a hospital sick. Yeah, I'm mostly asked, tda,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: you have lost your mind? Dog, Listen to me how
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: I thought of eighteen? Are you kidding me? And yeah,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: give me a million dollar back when I was eighteen
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: the girls that turned me down? Halla at your boy?
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: All right, come on, junior, I want to hear from
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: you and the nephew a million dollars tax free, or
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: go back to eighteen and start over. No, I'm with uncle.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna taking me. You know, I'm not going Yeah,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: I'm not going back to eighteen. I'm with uncle. Why
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: would I go back down there? I ain't had nothing
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: at eighteen bad. I got something forty two. So let
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: me go ahead. Just stay here. Where is the money
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: at I'm gonna take right now, just so I can
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: say I got a meal. What. I'm not going back
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: to eighteen. I'm staying right here. I'm with up the
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: same reason. Y'all go ahead, I come to y'all funeral.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna be eighteen all over again. What what eighteen? Oh?
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: I had a blast. I'm going back and myself. The
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: question is, would you do the same career? Would you
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: take that same path? I'm gonna do the same career,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: but I'm gonna try to take a show different path though.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: I'm trying to get the whole lot quick. But if
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: if I got the same mindset, it's fifty four years old, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: come on, because I know how to get there a
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: lot faster, because you know how everybody says, if you
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: steer your capital, then I know now. Yeah, Okay, Hey,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: ain't changing enough. Just gonna keep on. Shut up. I'm
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: gonna not great talking. I know the way I came from.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: But yeah, no, right here, what about you? I think
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I think I would go back to eighteen, I really do.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: I think I go back to eighteen and start off
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: do it better. You can do it better, if I
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: know what I know now, back at eighteen, No law, no, lord,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: huh carlin, I'm not going back to my daddy's house.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: I'm not going going in college. I still gonna flunk
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: out of college. It was age. If I know what
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: I know now, it was back in college, I flunk
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: out fast, prinkle looking for who I take the money?
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Surely to answer your get over, get this what money resides?

- 1:20:10Speaker 1: all about a couple of things in my closing today.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: I want to give you a couple of things that
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: I keep in my motivational section of my photo album.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: I'm just going to share a few of them with
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: you as I thumbed through them, just to give you
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: some of the things that I keep around to remind
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: me of everything. And one of the things I was
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: going over today and I just want to share this
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: with There's a saying that I have by Albert Einstein.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: Albert Einstein said, stay away from negative people. They have
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: a problem for every solution. M stay away from negative people.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: They have a problem for every solution. Do you know
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: that all of us know people but like that? Have
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: you ever noticed, man, if you ever come up with
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: a great idea and you tell it to certain people,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: it turns out to never ever be a great idea.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: You ever noticed that, man, I don't care what you do,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: it just is never ever a good idea. You ever
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: have something that you're planning and you got it worked
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: out and you shared with them and they immediately start
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: telling you what's wrong with the plan? Have you ever
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: had something good happened to you and you share it
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: with that same person and all of a sudden, what
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: you thought that happened good for you? After they get
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: through chewing on it, it spending it back at you,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: it wasn't even that good at all. Stay away from
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: negative people. They have a problem for every solution. Now,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: I want to share something else with you. I want
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: to share something that somebody sent to me one time,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: and it's entitled trust in God. I'm gonna share this
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: with you. It says I asked for strength, and God
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: gave me difficulties to make me strong. I asked for
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: wisdom and God gave me problems to solve. I asked
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: for prosperity and God gave me brain and braun to work.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: I asked for courage and then God gave me danger
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: to overcome. I asked for love, and God gave me
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: troubled people to help. I asked for favors and God
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: gave me opportunities. I received nothing I want it. I
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: received everything I needed. Trust in God, do you know?
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: That's how it always works? But so many times, man,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: we allow for something we think is negative to get
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: in the way of the very thing that's really our blessing.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: You ask God to make a way for you, and
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: then he closed the door, and now you're standing there
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: banging on the door trying to get the door to
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: reopen because you didn't want the door to be closed.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: But you ask God for a blessing. Remember, now, the
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: blessing God has for you happens to be behind another
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: door up the hall. But he closed that door on
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: you so you could go up the hall and go
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: through the other door, which is the blessing that you
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: really need. But you're standing there banging on that door
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: trying to figure out why they won't open this door
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: back up for you. You got to trust in the process, y'all.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: God is good man, He's smarter than you. I just
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I just I have things man that I pull out
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: that I that I read here's something else that I
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: got twenty twenty one. I'm talking about the year. Twenty
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: twenty one is the year of transformation. God is restoring
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: what was stolen, expanding your circle, giving you new opportunities,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: putting favor on your options, subtracting your problems, and multiplying
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: your resources. Say that again, twenty twenty one is the
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: year of transformation. God is restoring what was stolen, expanding
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: your circle, giving you new opportunities, putting favor on your options,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: subtracting your problems, and multiplying your resources. Wow, that's what's
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: happening in twenty twenty one. But see, you know why
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: people some people can't see what's happening in twenty twenty
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: one because they keep looking back. In twenty twenty, you
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: keep talking about COVID. Most of y'all had COVID and
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: got past it. The rest of y'all ain't even contracted COVID.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: But you're so busy talking about what COVID did to
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: your job, and what COVID did to your opportunity, and
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: what COVID did to your business. You don't even realize
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: that God kept you through the COVID It is you
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: d almost out of twenty twenty one. Oh, you need
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: to wake up and realize now that God is in
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: the blessing business. This is how it works. Man. Last
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: thing I'm gonna tell you, I declare it's your time
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: for new opportunities and new beginnings. November and December will
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: be a period of great transsition, internal transformation, spiritual breakthroughs, healing, love, blessings,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: new idea is new vision, the closing of painful chapters
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: and the opening of new doors. Claim it and receive
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: it by faith. Did y'all hear what I just told you?
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: November and December is going to be the period of
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: great transformation. You got to expect great things in order
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: to open up the possibility for God to do great things.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: I'm already talking about November December gonna be great, and
