Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / DOJ Took Lenient Stance On Hunter Biden
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Sann Now reporting this is pretty interesting that the DOJ
- 0:06Speaker 1: repeatedly took quote very lenient stance on Hunter Biden only
- 0:13Speaker 1: changed that lenient stance after public pressure and the whistle
- 0:18Speaker 1: blowers came forward before Congress. Now, when CNN is reporting this,
- 0:23Speaker 1: you got to start asking yourself a question. If it's
- 0:26Speaker 1: this bad now, right, If it's this bad, if this
- 0:29Speaker 1: is what it looks like when you're at the DOJ
- 0:32Speaker 1: or the FBI, what does that say about what else
- 0:36Speaker 1: they may have been covering up. I want you to
- 0:38Speaker 1: take a listen, by the way, to this SoundBite, and
- 0:42Speaker 1: I want you to think about this is the same
- 0:44Speaker 1: network that knew CNN that they were lying to the
- 0:47Speaker 1: American people about Russian collision. They covered that wall to
- 0:50Speaker 1: wall for the entire Trump presidency and even a little
- 0:54Speaker 1: bit before. I want you to think about the fact
- 0:57Speaker 1: they knew that this was a dossi that could not
- 1:00Speaker 1: be corroborated, but they still report on it like it
- 1:03Speaker 1: was total fact. And now they're sitting there in this
- 1:07Speaker 1: really awkward position. You can't deny what the whistleblowers have said.
- 1:11Speaker 1: You can't deny, by the way, that Hunter Biden got
- 1:14Speaker 1: a sweetheart deal. You can't deny the fact that now
- 1:17Speaker 1: a bunch of his lawyers have had to quit on him.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Can't deny that there's massive conflicts of interest that we're
- 1:23Speaker 1: learning about as well with some of those that are
- 1:25Speaker 1: supposed to be prosecuting Hunter Biden, who actually used to
- 1:29Speaker 1: work with his brother who has passed away.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Those are just some of the new headlines that you
- 1:35Speaker 2: just throw in here.
- 1:36Speaker 1: These are big stories on their own, but when you
- 1:38Speaker 1: put in the grand scheme of things, you got to
- 1:41Speaker 1: sit back and go, Wow, should we ever trust the
- 1:44Speaker 1: media ever again? If this is how they act, like
- 1:47Speaker 1: they are propagandas for a communist political organization, because that's
- 1:53Speaker 1: basically what CNN is, the communist news network. But when
- 1:57Speaker 1: all this comes out the way that it's come out,
- 2:00Speaker 1: there's now these glimpses, and I'd say glimpses of hope,
- 2:04Speaker 1: because I don't believe they're actually going to change, but
- 2:07Speaker 1: I think at some point they realize just how ridiculous
- 2:10Speaker 1: they look, how bad they look, and they're like, all right, fine,
- 2:13Speaker 1: we look so bad. Let's let's give like a minute
- 2:16Speaker 1: and twenty seconds of accurate reporting. That's what we'll do.
- 2:21Speaker 1: We'll just give we'll give a moment of this accurate reporting.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Take a listen, Ally, I'm.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Glad you stuck around here. So when we look at
- 2:28Speaker 3: this this evolution, it really is quite the evolution in
- 2:31Speaker 3: a fairly short period of time, according to The New
- 2:33Speaker 3: York Times. I know you've noted on multiple occasions just
- 2:36Speaker 3: how long this investigation had dragged on. Have you ever
- 2:39Speaker 3: seen a federal case play out like this before?
- 2:42Speaker 4: No Erica, It's really inexplicable to me. I mean, first,
- 2:45Speaker 4: we had basically five years of behind the scenes investigation
- 2:49Speaker 4: with no transparency, no action, and some questions being asked,
- 2:52Speaker 4: what's taken so long? But in the last couple months,
- 2:54Speaker 4: we've seen a pattern here. Marshall just laid it out,
- 2:57Speaker 4: and we've now seen it play out two or three
- 2:59Speaker 4: separate times. DOJ moves towards a very lenient disposition. They're
- 3:03Speaker 4: just about to lock in that lenient disposition, and then
- 3:06Speaker 4: there arises pressure, either through whistleblower testimony or through public scrutiny,
- 3:10Speaker 4: and then DJ backs off and says, actually, we're not
- 3:13Speaker 4: going to do that. Now that it's been called out,
- 3:14Speaker 4: We're going to try to up it a little bit.
- 3:16Speaker 4: And then that happened again, and then they go all
- 3:19Speaker 4: the way to appointing special counsel, the same guy who's
- 3:21Speaker 4: been presiding over the case for five plus years already.
- 3:24Speaker 4: So I genuinely am perplexed by what DOJ is doing here.
- 3:27Speaker 4: I think they've made a real mess for themselves and
- 3:30Speaker 4: now they're going to have to deal with the consequences
- 3:31Speaker 4: of it.
- 3:32Speaker 3: So, in terms of the mess and those consequences, look,
- 3:35Speaker 3: public trust is certainly one of them. Is there anything
- 3:37Speaker 3: that you see the DOJ could do, based on your
- 3:39Speaker 3: experience right as a former federal prosecutor, to restore public
- 3:42Speaker 3: confidence in this investigation? Is the only way to fix
- 3:45Speaker 3: this a trial?
- 3:47Speaker 2: It may be Erica.
- 3:48Speaker 4: You know, DOJ's sort of been in a darned if
- 3:50Speaker 4: they do darned if they don't posture on this from
- 3:52Speaker 4: the start, But they've made it way worse by sort
- 3:55Speaker 4: of careening back and forth here. It may well be
- 3:57Speaker 4: that any deal is never going to be accepted as fair.
- 4:00Speaker 4: So if I'm in David Weiss's shoes here, Heaven help me,
- 4:03Speaker 4: I would just say, look, we're charging everything we have,
- 4:06Speaker 4: We're not in position to make a deal. It'll go
- 4:08Speaker 4: to trial and We'll let the jury decide this. I
- 4:11Speaker 4: think that's the only way to restore any credibility to
- 4:13Speaker 4: this matter.
- 4:14Speaker 1: The only way to restore any credibility this matter. That's
- 4:18Speaker 1: coming from CNN. The New York Times is also reporting
- 4:22Speaker 1: this morning. Prosecutors insisted, this is the New York Times
- 4:28Speaker 1: on Harsher Hunter Biden Plea deal. As irs whistleblowers came
- 4:33Speaker 1: forward because they understood now that they had been busted, right,
- 4:37Speaker 1: they thought they could just ram this deal. Through this
- 4:40Speaker 1: sweetheart deal. They would give him immunity from everything he'd
- 4:45Speaker 1: ever done in the past. And then when they're doing that,
- 4:49Speaker 1: then they could just walk away and go, look at us,
- 4:51Speaker 1: look at how good we are. Look at how we
- 4:52Speaker 1: were able to pull this off. Right, Look at how
- 4:56Speaker 1: we were able to pull this off. Look at what
- 5:00Speaker 1: we were able to do. They were going to walk
- 5:02Speaker 1: out of that Plea deal and go, Wow, we run
- 5:05Speaker 1: the world.
- 5:06Speaker 2: We own the world.
- 5:09Speaker 1: We are better than everyone else. We are making the rules,
- 5:15Speaker 1: We make the rules. How we are the government. And
- 5:20Speaker 1: when that Plea deal exploded, right, because only because of
- 5:25Speaker 1: brave men and women who came forward as whistleblowers, did
- 5:29Speaker 1: they then realize, Okay, we might not be able to
- 5:32Speaker 1: get away with this. Now, I again, you go back
- 5:35Speaker 1: to who the special counsel is. The special counsel is
- 5:39Speaker 1: the same exact person that gave them the sweetheart deal.
- 5:44Speaker 1: So this idea that what they should do and what
- 5:47Speaker 1: they may do are two very different things. If you're
- 5:50Speaker 1: waiting for them to do the right thing, I want
- 5:53Speaker 1: to be clear, I'm not sure that's gonna happen. Okay,
- 5:56Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not sure that's actually gonna happen. If
- 5:59Speaker 1: you're waiting for there to be justice with this, I'm
- 6:02Speaker 1: not sure that's gonna happen the way that they just
- 6:05Speaker 1: described it. I'm also not sure that that is going
- 6:09Speaker 1: to happen. There's no integrity with these people. Yes, they
- 6:13Speaker 1: got busted, right, I mean they did. They got busted.
- 6:17Speaker 1: They got busted big time. And getting busted doesn't mean
- 6:22Speaker 1: you're gonna fix it, doesn't mean you're gonna change it,
- 6:27Speaker 1: doesn't mean you're gonna do it any differently. They're now
- 6:30Speaker 1: trying to figure out how do we get out of
- 6:32Speaker 1: being busted but still get what we want, which is
- 6:35Speaker 1: limited exposure of the President of the United States of America.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Right limited. That's the most important thing, limited exposure for
- 6:45Speaker 1: Joe Biden while also protecting Joe Biden's son. So he's
- 6:49Speaker 1: not in prison like a normal person would be in
- 6:52Speaker 1: prison for doing and committing these types of crimes.
- 6:56Speaker 2: So how do we how do we pull that off? Right?
- 6:59Speaker 3: Like?
- 6:59Speaker 1: What are we do in that scenario? That's what they're
- 7:05Speaker 1: going with. Here's that is the ballgame. I for a second,
- 7:11Speaker 1: all right, I don't believe for a second we're gonna
- 7:13Speaker 1: get something real here.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Okay. I just want to be very very very very
- 7:17Speaker 2: very very very clear with that.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I don't believe for a moment that we're going to
- 7:23Speaker 1: get anything here that's going to be meaningful. I don't
- 7:28Speaker 1: believe that this is going to change, Okay. I don't
- 7:32Speaker 1: believe that this is going to get any better. I
- 7:35Speaker 1: do believe there could be a tad more accountability. And
- 7:38Speaker 1: I'm not sure what CNN just said there is going
- 7:41Speaker 1: to happen either, right, I'm really not I'm not sure
- 7:45Speaker 1: that we're even going to get to a trial with
- 7:48Speaker 1: all the charges that they just describe. I just don't
- 7:51Speaker 1: see that actually happening. I assume that as soon as
- 7:55Speaker 1: they think that we may not be paying attention that
- 7:58Speaker 1: we may be looking the other way, or that we
- 8:00Speaker 1: may have moved on to something else, so there's another
- 8:02Speaker 1: bigger news story. They will go right back to saying, Okay,
- 8:06Speaker 1: let's slide this in there, right.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Like, let's let let's let's.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Slide it in there and see what we can pull
- 8:14Speaker 1: off that that, you know, let's see what we can
- 8:16Speaker 1: get away with. But when you have CNN actually saying this,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I will say that that is a glimpse from one
- 8:27Speaker 1: person who was brave enough to say just how bad
- 8:30Speaker 1: this is on CNN. That is a glimpse of some hope.
- 8:34Speaker 1: And I say some, I want to be clear, this
- 8:37Speaker 1: is a very little bit of hope that maybe, just
- 8:41Speaker 1: maybe the this is something that may not work out
- 8:45Speaker 1: the way the Biden crime family was hoping that it.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Worked out, or that it would work out.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Hunter Biden's lawyers apparently leverage the President of United States
- 8:56Speaker 1: of America is a threat to make sure that the
- 9:00Speaker 1: investigation into Joe Biden didn't go anywhere. Yes, Hunter Biden's
- 9:05Speaker 1: lawyers threatened to put the president on the stand. A
- 9:08Speaker 1: new report out says Hunter Biden's lawyers apparently warned the
- 9:12Speaker 1: prosecutors last year that Hunter Biden's defense would in fact
- 9:17Speaker 1: put the President on the stand to testify in his
- 9:19Speaker 1: son's defense if criminal charges were ever brought against him.
- 9:22Speaker 1: According to this new report, Hunter's lawyer Chris Clark wrote
- 9:26Speaker 1: a letter to prosecutors last October after newsleak that federal
- 9:32Speaker 1: agents had enough evidence to charge the first son with
- 9:36Speaker 1: illegally buying a firearm while still using crack cocaine. Clark
- 9:41Speaker 1: said that if the Justice Department did in fact charge
- 9:45Speaker 1: Hunter Biden, the defense would be forced to put the
- 9:49Speaker 1: Commander in chief on the witness stand. In the message
- 9:53Speaker 1: obtained by Politico, it said President Biden now unquestionably would
- 9:58Speaker 1: be a fact witness for the defense in any criminal trial.
- 10:03Speaker 1: That is what Clark wrote in the thirty two page
- 10:05Speaker 1: letter that's now been obtained by Politico. Now the email,
- 10:09Speaker 1: along with an additional three hundred pages of emails reviewed
- 10:14Speaker 1: by Politico, gives us a very new, unreported insight into
- 10:21Speaker 1: Hunter's sweet plea bargain deal that he was given by
- 10:25Speaker 1: the now special prosecutor who was the guy who gave him.
- 10:29Speaker 1: The sweetheart deal would have kept him out of prison,
- 10:32Speaker 1: we know that, but it also would have kept him
- 10:34Speaker 1: out of any future indictments. All of that fell apart
- 10:41Speaker 1: at the last minute last month, after whistleblowers came forward
- 10:46Speaker 1: detailing the corruption of the Biden crime family, now the
- 10:50Speaker 1: younger Biden fifty three, he pleaded not guilty to federal
- 10:54Speaker 1: tax and gun charges in Delaware on July the twenty sixth,
- 10:58Speaker 1: after the deal, which was bashed by many for its leniency,
- 11:03Speaker 1: was pulled by the US district judge. The judge had
- 11:07Speaker 1: concerns over quote, ongoing investigations, ongoing probes, and to other
- 11:12Speaker 1: potential offenses committed by Hunter, including failing to register as
- 11:17Speaker 1: a foreign agent for lucrative dealings with foreign countries that
- 11:22Speaker 1: allegedly involved his father. After persistent questioning, Clark declared the
- 11:27Speaker 1: deal quote no and void now in exchange or I
- 11:32Speaker 1: should say in the exchangees. In the prior month, Clark
- 11:35Speaker 1: and his team often told prosecutors during private negotiations that
- 11:40Speaker 1: they were worried about the intense political atmosphere surrounding the case.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Again this according to Politico, they raised concerns multiple times
- 11:50Speaker 1: over pressure from Republican lawmakers and argued that the case
- 11:54Speaker 1: could tarnish the DOJ's reputation because they would be have
- 12:00Speaker 1: having to cross examine or question or defend a sitting
- 12:04Speaker 1: president of the United States of America who would be
- 12:07Speaker 1: called by Hunter Biden's team. That, by the way, is
- 12:10Speaker 1: the ultimate leverage here now. Clark said that trying the
- 12:14Speaker 1: president's son, pitting the president against his own Justice Department,
- 12:18Speaker 1: because obviously he would defend his son, they were saying,
- 12:21Speaker 1: would create constitutional chaos. They argue, saying this is this
- 12:27Speaker 1: of all cases, justifies neither the spectacle of a sitting
- 12:32Speaker 1: president testifying in a criminal trial nor the potential for
- 12:36Speaker 1: a resulting constitutional crisis. Hunter Biden's lawyer, Clark wrote, we
- 12:43Speaker 1: also know that this judge dismissed the tax misdemeanor charges
- 12:49Speaker 1: against the first one, Hunter Biden. On Thursday, Attorney General
- 12:53Speaker 1: Merrick Garland appointed the Delaware US attorney David Wise, who
- 12:56Speaker 1: authored the Sweetheart Plea deal, to serve as special counsel
- 13:01Speaker 1: in the case. The appointment will allow him to bring
- 13:05Speaker 1: charges without the approval of Biden appointees in other districts
- 13:09Speaker 1: that blocked Weiss's previous efforts. They claim to charge Hunter
- 13:13Speaker 1: with millions of dollars with millions of dollars of tax
- 13:17Speaker 1: fraud charges Hunter, by the way, is expected to stand
- 13:21Speaker 1: trial in either Washington, d C. Or southern California, both
- 13:25Speaker 1: places where jury pools and judges will more than likely
- 13:30Speaker 1: be very favorable to Hunter Biden, and that's exactly why
- 13:33Speaker 1: they've chosen those areas. Now, if you think about this dynamic,
- 13:40Speaker 1: you have a former president of the United States of
- 13:43Speaker 1: America who gets elected his son is embezzling money at
- 13:47Speaker 1: the levels that we couldn't even imagine even a month ago.
- 13:51Speaker 1: We're now being told by James Comer it could be
- 13:53Speaker 1: upwards of forty to fifty to sixty million dollars in
- 13:58Speaker 1: bribes that came into the Biden And then you have
- 14:01Speaker 1: lawyers for Hunter Biden threatening the Department of Justice that
- 14:05Speaker 1: we will put the president on the stand and that
- 14:08Speaker 1: will put you in opposite sides with the sitting president
- 14:12Speaker 1: United States of America, who happens to be your boss.
- 14:16Speaker 2: That's one hell of a threat.
- 14:20Speaker 1: It is a threat that I think everybody should take seriously.
- 14:25Speaker 1: It is a threat that was done and they knew
- 14:29Speaker 1: what they were doing. It was a reminder you don't
- 14:33Speaker 1: screw with the President of United States of America or
- 14:36Speaker 1: his family.
- 14:37Speaker 2: You don't go after the family.
- 14:39Speaker 1: You don't do anything against Hunter Biden, and if you do,
- 14:44Speaker 1: then the President is going to be very unhappy and
- 14:47Speaker 1: you're going to have to go up against him in
- 14:50Speaker 1: testamony because we will absolutely call him to defend his son.
- 14:54Speaker 2: That is a threat that I would argue.
- 14:58Speaker 1: There's no way it wasn't choreographed, okay, by the Biden
- 15:03Speaker 1: team with the father who happens to be the president involved.
- 15:08Speaker 1: There's no way that legal strategy came up by accident
- 15:12Speaker 1: or just without the president's knowledge. I think what we
- 15:16Speaker 1: clearly know now is that this president knew how to
- 15:21Speaker 1: make sure that his son was protected.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Once he became the president. He knew.
- 15:26Speaker 1: They can't make They can't take this risk, right, That's
- 15:30Speaker 1: what it really boils down to. They can't take this risk.
- 15:35Speaker 1: There's no way they can take this risk. This is
- 15:37Speaker 1: too great of a risk. They're not going to go
- 15:40Speaker 1: after their own boss, the president of the United States
- 15:43Speaker 1: of America. Remember, all of these people serve quote unquote
- 15:47Speaker 1: at the pleasure of the President. You think the DOJ
- 15:52Speaker 1: or anybody else involved is going to be okay with
- 15:54Speaker 1: that scenario, of course not. They don't want to be
- 15:57Speaker 1: in that scenario. They don't want to deal with this
- 15:59Speaker 1: that it was just described, and it makes sense why,
- 16:03Speaker 1: Like I genuinely understand it now, I get it.
- 16:07Speaker 2: I comprehend it.
- 16:09Speaker 1: This was a fix that they had thought every single
- 16:13Speaker 1: move that they may have to make, and every single
- 16:16Speaker 1: time it was a trump card that we will bring
- 16:19Speaker 1: Joe Biden in here and you're screwed.
- 16:21Speaker 2: That's what it really was.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Now, while all of this is happening, there's something else
- 16:26Speaker 1: that has happened around Hunter Biden. That is three more
- 16:30Speaker 1: if Hunter Biden's lawyers have moved to withdraw from the
- 16:34Speaker 1: case defending him, since this is going to be a
- 16:37Speaker 1: real case now, not one, not two, but three. If
- 16:41Speaker 1: Hunter Biden's defense attorneys moved to a draw from the
- 16:44Speaker 1: case late on Friday, after the lead attorney, Chris Clark,
- 16:48Speaker 1: withdrew last week.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's four now total.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Latham and Watkins, the attorney office, and the attorneys in there,
- 16:56Speaker 1: Brian McManus, Timothy mccarton, Matthew Solerno requested permission from the
- 17:03Speaker 1: judge to withdraw from the case after the judge just
- 17:05Speaker 1: missed the pleading on August seventeenth. Moving forward, prosecutors expect
- 17:10Speaker 1: the case to go to trial where it will likely
- 17:11Speaker 1: be tried in Delaware or California. Now you've got to
- 17:15Speaker 1: ask yourself this question, why did this happen?
- 17:18Speaker 2: Well?
- 17:18Speaker 1: Brian McManus, counsel for the defendant, Robert Hunter Biden, and respectfully,
- 17:24Speaker 1: this is what he wrote, requests this honorable Court to
- 17:27Speaker 1: withdraw all appearances for the law firm of Latham and
- 17:31Speaker 1: Watkins as counsel for the defendant in the above caption matter.
- 17:35Speaker 1: The motion reads, mister Biden has been advised of and
- 17:39Speaker 1: consents to our withdrawal. Look, you did the tough thing
- 17:43Speaker 1: during COVID. You paid your people and pulled your business
- 17:47Speaker 1: through the pandemic. And now doing the tough thing could
- 17:50Speaker 1: qualify you for a twenty six thousand dollars per employee
- 17:54Speaker 1: at COVID tax Relief dot org. Government funds are available
- 17:59Speaker 1: to reward company with two or more employees who stayed
- 18:02Speaker 1: open during COVID.
- 18:04Speaker 2: This is not a loan and you don't have to
- 18:07Speaker 2: pay it back.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Look, this program is complicated, but nobody knows more about
- 18:11Speaker 1: it than the CPAs and tax experts at Consumer Tax Advocates.
- 18:15Speaker 2: The best part is you pay nothing upfront.
- 18:18Speaker 1: They do all the work, and then they share a
- 18:20Speaker 1: percentage of cash that you get. Businesses of all types,
- 18:23Speaker 1: including nonprofits and churches can qualify, including those who took
- 18:27Speaker 1: PvP loans. Even if you had increases in sales, you
- 18:32Speaker 1: did the tough thing for your employees during COVID. Let
- 18:34Speaker 1: COVID tax Relief dot org help get you up to
- 18:38Speaker 1: twenty six thousand dollars per employee VI the COVID tax
- 18:42Speaker 1: Relief dot Org. That's COVID tax Relief dot Org. COVID
- 18:46Speaker 1: tax Relief dot Org. Now there's also another aspect that
- 18:53Speaker 1: has to be considered and everything I just told you,
- 18:55Speaker 1: and that is that the media Democrats are starting to
- 18:59Speaker 1: get work. They're starting to fret that Hunter will cloud
- 19:03Speaker 1: his dad's campaign for the presidency. This was part of
- 19:07Speaker 1: that conversation on CNN where they were actually talking about this,
- 19:11Speaker 1: and at the bottom it actually said on the screen
- 19:14Speaker 1: Hunter Biden investigation. DEM's worried Hunter will cloud dad's campaign.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Listen an agenda at this.
- 19:19Speaker 5: Yeah, and Jeff like, we're starting to see in twenty
- 19:22Speaker 5: twenty four for Trump not to say apples to apples here,
- 19:25Speaker 5: but there are there are legal problems, and there are
- 19:28Speaker 5: the political implications of those legal problems, and what does
- 19:31Speaker 5: this mean politically for Biden.
- 19:32Speaker 6: I think politically it removes some of the moral high
- 19:35Speaker 6: ground that he might have against all the Trump accusations.
- 19:39Speaker 6: And among Democrats it probably doesn't matter. But among independent
- 19:43Speaker 6: voters who are like, you know, just this is why
- 19:46Speaker 6: we don't like government, they all just smell a little
- 19:49Speaker 6: crooked here.
- 19:50Speaker 2: I think that could be an issue.
- 19:51Speaker 6: And also, perhaps most important, how it directly impacts the
- 19:55Speaker 6: president's thinking in his head. He is so defensive of
- 19:59Speaker 6: Hunter Biden, and I think that this has the potential
- 20:02Speaker 6: of really agitating him. And you know, I just think
- 20:06Speaker 6: it's a bad look. But we don't know how long
- 20:08Speaker 6: this is going out. But Land's right, a child does
- 20:10Speaker 6: not have to be unfolding here. No one wants a
- 20:13Speaker 6: special counsel. And this is the second special counsel that
- 20:16Speaker 6: is looking into the Biden family, if you will, I mean,
- 20:19Speaker 6: the other one is still looking into the president's a
- 20:21Speaker 6: handling a classified documents. So you don't want a special
- 20:23Speaker 6: counsel because it opens a box and a door to
- 20:26Speaker 6: who knows what right?
- 20:27Speaker 2: And I want I love by the way, they're like,
- 20:29Speaker 2: you don't want a special counsel. Sure you do.
- 20:31Speaker 1: If it's David Weiss, and this is where the media
- 20:33Speaker 1: is spinning, they have no problem with this. David Weiss
- 20:37Speaker 1: is the guy that gave him a sweetheart deal. David
- 20:38Speaker 1: Wisse's the one that refused to bring charges. David wise
- 20:41Speaker 1: is the one that ran out the clock on the
- 20:43Speaker 1: statue of limitations on the most egregious crimes that Hunter
- 20:47Speaker 1: Biden was being accused of. David Weiss is now the
- 20:51Speaker 1: Special Counsel. So you know that David Weiss is going
- 20:54Speaker 1: to hook you up, right?
- 20:56Speaker 2: You know this.
- 20:57Speaker 1: It's not hard for anyone to see that this is
- 21:01Speaker 1: clearly not a threat to the presidency when it comes
- 21:04Speaker 1: to that Special Council. In fact, it's a mockery of
- 21:07Speaker 1: the justice system. It is a fox guarding the hen house.
- 21:13Speaker 1: There is no difference between David Weiss two weeks ago
- 21:16Speaker 1: and David Weiss today. There is absolutely no difference here whatsoever.
- 21:24Speaker 1: And I think that if you're at the White House
- 21:27Speaker 1: right now, honestly knowing how many people are defending you,
- 21:32Speaker 1: knowing how many people are protecting you, knowing how many
- 21:35Speaker 1: people are willing to look like I mean this just
- 21:38Speaker 1: like complete idiots, complete morons, right. I mean, we're talking
- 21:44Speaker 1: about morons here because they got to keep their jobs.
- 21:48Speaker 2: That's part of it, right, They need to keep their power.
- 21:52Speaker 1: The people that are around the president, the DOJ, the FBI,
- 21:56Speaker 1: they know what happens if a Republican wins, especially if
- 21:59Speaker 1: that Republican Intella Trump. So that's why I guess they're
- 22:02Speaker 1: willing to cover up crimes so they can at least
- 22:06Speaker 1: keep their jobs. You know, there's a very interesting conversation
- 22:10Speaker 1: that Mark Levin had about this on his show Life,
- 22:13Speaker 1: Liberty and Levin. I want you to hear what he
- 22:14Speaker 1: had to say, comparing what Hillary Clinton did to what
- 22:19Speaker 1: the DOJ is prosecuting, for example, Trump on right now
- 22:23Speaker 1: and just talking about this two tiered system of government.
- 22:26Speaker 2: It also relates to the Biden former. So what did
- 22:29Speaker 2: Hillary Clinton do?
- 22:30Speaker 7: She walks the country free, She's gaggling all over the place,
- 22:34Speaker 7: She's getting into friendly media, She's laughing about all these indictments.
- 22:38Speaker 7: Hillary Clinton should be imprisoned for her entire life. Over
- 22:41Speaker 7: forty five hundred criminal statutes in the US Code that
- 22:44Speaker 7: exist today, the one mostly used the ones in conspiracy,
- 22:48Speaker 7: faulse statements, money launching, obstruction, pergery, mail fraud, wirefraud, bank fraud.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Tax evasion Hillary Clinton.
- 22:55Speaker 7: To convict Clinton, it must be shown that she acknowledged
- 22:57Speaker 7: that classified emails would contained on her privates, and they
- 23:01Speaker 7: said the most recent tally by the State Department of
- 23:03Speaker 7: their review of thirty thousand Clinton emails indicates at least
- 23:06Speaker 7: six hundred and seventy one emails sent or received by
- 23:10Speaker 7: Clinton contained classified information. This fact stands in stark contrast
- 23:14Speaker 7: to the statement she gave the reporters in July of
- 23:17Speaker 7: that year, once she said I'm confident that I've never
- 23:20Speaker 7: sent nor received any information that was classified at the
- 23:23Speaker 7: time was center received. According to the October sixteenth Fox
- 23:26Speaker 7: News report, the FBI is also looking to see if
- 23:29Speaker 7: Clinton committeed gross negligence under the Espionage Act for failure
- 23:33Speaker 7: to keep National Defense Information safe eighteen USC.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Seven ninety three.
- 23:38Speaker 7: They're using that against Trump. Notably, the information doesn't necessarily
- 23:42Speaker 7: have to be marcus classified to violate the statute. The article,
- 23:46Speaker 7: citing an intelligence community source who spoke on the condition
- 23:49Speaker 7: of anonymity. The intelligence source said the subsection requires the
- 23:53Speaker 7: lawful possession of national defense information by a security clearance
- 23:57Speaker 7: holder who through gross negligence, such as it's the use
- 24:00Speaker 7: of an unsecure computer network permits the material to be
- 24:04Speaker 7: removed or abstracted from its proper secure location. She even
- 24:08Speaker 7: hired an it purpose on her own person, on her
- 24:11Speaker 7: own dime, who works for the Department of State, to
- 24:14Speaker 7: handle the server. That's how much she didn't want anyone
- 24:16Speaker 7: to know about this serve. And by the way, that's
- 24:17Speaker 7: a crime too. You're not allowed to subsidize or receive
- 24:22Speaker 7: private money is for doing what is a government job.
- 24:25Speaker 7: And that's sort of what he was doing for her
- 24:27Speaker 7: at her request, but nobody talks about that. She destroyed
- 24:31Speaker 7: over thirty thousand emails, They destroyed their cell phones. Nobody
- 24:35Speaker 7: was dragged in front of a grand jury. There was
- 24:36Speaker 7: no search under her home for any other servers or information.
- 24:41Speaker 7: She did an interview, her staff was permitted to be there,
- 24:44Speaker 7: her lawyers were permitted to be there. Her lawyers destroyed
- 24:47Speaker 7: this information based on header information, not substantient information. And
- 24:52Speaker 7: she skates and the Presidential Records Act that applies to Trump,
- 24:57Speaker 7: which gives the president authority over documents. No other official
- 25:01Speaker 7: in the government, including a Secretary of State or an
- 25:03Speaker 7: next Secretary of State.
- 25:04Speaker 2: She didn't have that defense.
- 25:06Speaker 7: She didn't have that statue. Trump has that, and he's
- 25:10Speaker 7: charged with forty counts and he's charged with a total
- 25:14Speaker 7: of ninety one counts from these three prosecutors.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Mark Levin is right, and not only is he right
- 25:20Speaker 1: on this, but he's also right in the aspect of
- 25:24Speaker 1: this also relates to Joe Biden and the Biden crime family.
- 25:28Speaker 1: The same thing that they did with Hillary Quinton is
- 25:30Speaker 1: the same thing they're doing with the Bidens. Except the
- 25:33Speaker 1: difference this time is there is there's real court cases
- 25:37Speaker 1: and real crimes that they're investigating. And so now the
- 25:40Speaker 1: threats are coming back of Okay, if you treat Hunter
- 25:45Speaker 1: Biden like a normal human being, if you treat his
- 25:49Speaker 1: crimes like a normal human being, we will be forced
- 25:53Speaker 1: to then take the President United States of America, put
- 25:55Speaker 1: him on the stand to defend his son. And do
- 25:57Speaker 1: you really want to go against your boss? That's the threat?
- 26:03Speaker 1: Do you want to go against your boss? And these
- 26:06Speaker 1: people at the DOJ and the FBI, they know what's
- 26:10Speaker 1: going to happen to their jobs if any Republican is elected.
- 26:14Speaker 1: It didn't matter which one. Let's say it's not Trump.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Let's say it's a Santus, Let's say it's a Bibic.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Let's say it's any of these except for maybe Chris Christie.
- 26:23Speaker 1: They know that their jobs are going to be gone instantly,
- 26:26Speaker 1: and if it is Donald Trump, they are also, I think,
- 26:30Speaker 1: extremely worried. They are extremely worried that not only are
- 26:38Speaker 1: they going to lose their jobs, but they may actually
- 26:40Speaker 1: be indicted. They may actually have a special prosecutor that
- 26:44Speaker 1: looks at the crimes that they were committing and then
- 26:45Speaker 1: comes after them, even though they were in the US government.
- 26:49Speaker 1: There's a good chance that all of a sudden, everything
- 26:51Speaker 1: that they did is not just going to be shown publicly,
- 26:56Speaker 1: but then they will be investigated. And by the way,
- 26:59Speaker 1: I don't believe that's a political witch hunt. If Donald
- 27:01Speaker 1: Trump is elected, he will have a mandate to do that.
- 27:04Speaker 1: One last thing that I also think is playing into
- 27:07Speaker 1: this right now is Joe Biden's not very popular and
- 27:12Speaker 1: the reason why is look at this. If you compare
- 27:15Speaker 1: the first thirty months of Joe Biden's presidency to Donald
- 27:19Speaker 1: Trump jobs created, and a lot of these, by the way,
- 27:22Speaker 1: were when people came back to work post COVID, So
- 27:25Speaker 1: this number is inflated because some people had quit their jobs,
- 27:28Speaker 1: lost their jobs, and they came back, and Biden's getting
- 27:30Speaker 1: credit for that. Post COVID it is two point one
- 27:33Speaker 1: million to Joe Biden. Four point nine million jobs are
- 27:37Speaker 1: created by Trump manufacturing jobs in the first thirty months
- 27:40Speaker 1: two earn four thousand jobs are created by Biden at
- 27:43Speaker 1: the same point in his presidency, almost a half a
- 27:46Speaker 1: million for Donald Trump. And look at the thirty year
- 27:49Speaker 1: mortgage rate seven point five to one on a thirty
- 27:53Speaker 1: year mortgage right now, the highest in twenty one years.
- 27:56Speaker 1: What was it in January of twenty twenty one, two
- 27:58Speaker 1: point sixty five. That's what this election is also going
- 28:02Speaker 1: to be about. Let me say one final thing and
- 28:05Speaker 1: recap here about the Biden crime family and everything that
- 28:08Speaker 1: we just learned real quick about. Not only is lawyers
- 28:11Speaker 1: quitting on him, Hunter Biden, the corruption now with prosecutors
- 28:16Speaker 1: that are supposed to be investigating him formally worked with
- 28:19Speaker 1: his brother Bo. It's going to take, by the way,
- 28:23Speaker 1: more whistleblowers to even keep this thing front and center.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I don't know how many are out there. I don't
- 28:29Speaker 1: know how many are going to be brave enough to
- 28:31Speaker 1: come forward. And I understand people not coming forward, if
- 28:34Speaker 1: you've got kids, you've got a family to take care of,
- 28:37Speaker 1: your career, individual with the irs, or anywhere else in
- 28:41Speaker 1: our government where you could you know, instantly become a whistleblower.
- 28:46Speaker 2: I'm serious when I say this. I understand why many.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Whistleblowers don't come forward because if you know the system
- 28:52Speaker 1: is so rigged that you have to be a whistleblower
- 28:54Speaker 1: number one, Okay, then number two is going to be
- 28:58Speaker 1: even worse than that. The point I'm about to make
- 29:00Speaker 1: right because because number one, right, number one is that
- 29:06Speaker 1: you are a you know, whistleblower, Well, then number two
- 29:10Speaker 1: is there's retaliation that comes after you. Right, there's there,
- 29:14Speaker 1: there's total retaliation. People are going to come after you,
- 29:21Speaker 1: and you may lose your career. You may have your
- 29:23Speaker 1: career completely, you know, just shut out off, right. You
- 29:27Speaker 1: may never get to grow in your career. You may
- 29:30Speaker 1: be labeled. And what if Joe Biden wins again? Is
- 29:34Speaker 1: it fair to say at that point like you're just
- 29:36Speaker 1: done right, Like at that point it's just game over.
- 29:39Speaker 1: That's the problem here. That that that's the that's the
- 29:43Speaker 1: biggest problem that I see is that aspect of this
- 29:49Speaker 1: it without more whistleblowers to keep putting pressure on them
- 29:54Speaker 1: to do the right thing. I don't think that we're
- 29:57Speaker 1: gonna win. I don't think that justice is to win.
- 30:02Speaker 1: I hope there are more brave men and women that
- 30:03Speaker 1: will come forward, and I hope that when they do,
- 30:06Speaker 1: the media will be forced to cover it. That's what
- 30:10Speaker 1: I hope. That's my goal. I think having an honest
- 30:17Speaker 1: look at all this should be the goal of everybody.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I think having an honest look at what is happening
- 30:25Speaker 1: with this family should be the goal of anyone that
- 30:27Speaker 1: cares about law and order. But when you look at
- 30:31Speaker 1: the compare and contrast aspect of everything, of what they're
- 30:35Speaker 1: doing to Donald Trump, I mean, he's gonna get arrested
- 30:39Speaker 1: again this week, for goodness sakes, He's gonna get arrested
- 30:43Speaker 1: again in Georgia for ridiculous crimes that they're charging him with.
- 30:52Speaker 1: They're even charging him for things that he did outside
- 30:54Speaker 1: the state, which is outside of jurisdiction. They don't care.
- 30:57Speaker 1: That's how psychotic the left has become. Meanwhile, we're sitting
- 31:02Speaker 1: here as conservatives, like, what do we do? How do
- 31:05Speaker 1: we play this game? What should Republicans do? Should Republican
- 31:09Speaker 1: das go after the Bidens and say, Okay, I don't
- 31:12Speaker 1: care that the crime didn't happen here. If this is
- 31:14Speaker 1: how the new game is going to be played, then
- 31:15Speaker 1: we're going to play the game this way. It's a
- 31:18Speaker 1: really tough sell for many conservative lawyers and DA's to
- 31:25Speaker 1: not go down to the level of the Democrats and
- 31:27Speaker 1: become activists. And I understand that, like, it's really tough,
- 31:32Speaker 1: but when you see this type of abuse of power,
- 31:36Speaker 1: then you ask yourself what's next? And if we don't
- 31:40Speaker 1: fight back, what are they gonna What is this country
- 31:42Speaker 1: going to look like in five years, hell in five
- 31:45Speaker 1: months for that matter, And imagine another four years of
- 31:49Speaker 1: this type of abuse of power by Joe Biden and
- 31:52Speaker 1: the Biden crime family and the Biden DOJ, the Biden FBI,
- 31:57Speaker 1: the Biden CIA, the Biden White House staff. If they
- 32:02Speaker 1: can get away with us, then what does it look
- 32:04Speaker 1: like for another four years, especially when none of them
- 32:07Speaker 1: are then worried about that most important thing, right job security.
- 32:12Speaker 1: You've got four more years, and you say, okay, so
- 32:14Speaker 1: what We'll move on. Please share this podcast with your
