- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like theming bu bu things and it's not
- 0:19Speaker 1: me true good Steve to mother st don't join me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn you got to turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. Turn't got to turn out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water. Come come on your thing, huh,
- 2:01Speaker 1: I shall will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now one it only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harley got a radio show. I was talking with
- 2:12Speaker 1: my wife and she said something her father always used
- 2:15Speaker 1: to tell her, just because you can do something don't
- 2:18Speaker 1: mean you should do it. I can't tell you how
- 2:21Speaker 1: many times I've had to learn that in my life.
- 2:23Speaker 1: You know, just because you can do something does not
- 2:27Speaker 1: necessarily mean you should do it. I could tell people
- 2:31Speaker 1: off oftentimes, but it don't mean I should do it.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I could go here and set the record straight a
- 2:38Speaker 1: lot of times, but it don't mean I should do it. Well,
- 2:42Speaker 1: I've learned a lot in that lesson, folks, And because
- 2:48Speaker 1: I have a relationship with my creator, what it's done
- 2:51Speaker 1: is it's allowed me to learn even more how to
- 2:55Speaker 1: stay still on a lot of issues that's troubling me.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I've learned it the hard way. I do want you
- 3:01Speaker 1: to understand that that sometimes it's better to be still.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Sometimes it's better to just let God handle a situation now.
- 3:08Speaker 1: And I know it's hard to say because we think
- 3:10Speaker 1: as people, but if I do this, I would feel better.
- 3:15Speaker 1: If I do this now, they're feel how I feel. See.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But that's not always the best way though. I found
- 3:22Speaker 1: in my life. Sometimes you gotta like old people used
- 3:25Speaker 1: to say, you gotta let go and let God. I'm
- 3:28Speaker 1: gonna tell you something, man, I learned a lot from
- 3:30Speaker 1: my mother being a Sunday school teacher. But you know,
- 3:32Speaker 1: at the same time when she was when I was young,
- 3:35Speaker 1: I thought she was just an old, old person just
- 3:37Speaker 1: talking to me. I didn't get it. You know how
- 3:39Speaker 1: your parents used to talk to you and you didn't
- 3:41Speaker 1: get it, and they used to always say, well, wait
- 3:43Speaker 1: till you have your own kids. You would get it
- 3:45Speaker 1: then and show enough you got it then. Well I'm
- 3:47Speaker 1: the same way. I'm no different you know. I don't
- 3:49Speaker 1: have no different life than you. You know, don't have
- 3:51Speaker 1: no different upbringing than you. I don't have no different
- 3:54Speaker 1: ways that I can live and you can't. You know
- 3:56Speaker 1: that I gotta live by the same laws of the
- 3:59Speaker 1: land that you gotta live about. I gotta obey the
- 4:01Speaker 1: principles of success. If I want to be successful. I
- 4:03Speaker 1: got a bam and you know, and if I want
- 4:05Speaker 1: to go to heaven, I gotta do what God tell
- 4:07Speaker 1: me to do as many times as I can. Now,
- 4:10Speaker 1: you ain't gonna get it at all, right, But he
- 4:11Speaker 1: understand that, and I just get on with the best
- 4:14Speaker 1: I can. But so many times, man, we get stuck
- 4:18Speaker 1: right there, man, worrying about you know how it's gonna
- 4:22Speaker 1: come across, and what you know, I'm I'm kind of
- 4:26Speaker 1: going around here because I'm trying to find a way
- 4:28Speaker 1: to tell you this that you won't get twisted. The
- 4:31Speaker 1: bottom line, you gotta let go and let God. You
- 4:34Speaker 1: have to allow him to do it his way. See,
- 4:37Speaker 1: I thought myself to a certain point, but to go further,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I had to let God have it. I found out
- 4:43Speaker 1: I wasn't all that good a driver. I found out
- 4:46Speaker 1: I wouldn't all that good of all explore with a map.
- 4:50Speaker 1: So I had to let go. I had to let God.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And you gotta understand that God works in mysterious ways.
- 4:56Speaker 1: How often had I thought it was over for me?
- 4:59Speaker 1: But what God's doing was he was teaching me a lesson.
- 5:03Speaker 1: He was showing me something that I needed to know.
- 5:05Speaker 1: He was allowing me to experience something. But he didn't
- 5:08Speaker 1: let me go under. You know how they say God
- 5:10Speaker 1: had never put more on you than you can baar,
- 5:12Speaker 1: He won't let you go under you know. It's like
- 5:15Speaker 1: the scripture that Bishop Olmer taught me when I was
- 5:17Speaker 1: going through that traumatic thing on the internet. Man, it
- 5:20Speaker 1: was really really man trying to destroy what I had
- 5:23Speaker 1: worked for and my family and this new life to
- 5:26Speaker 1: God had presented me. And the devil is busy. The
- 5:28Speaker 1: devil won't like to see you happy. So here he comes.
- 5:30Speaker 1: He puts you under attack, and here comes internet and everything,
- 5:34Speaker 1: and my kids are suffering, but you know, here comes God. Though, see,
- 5:38Speaker 1: God don't put more on you than you can bad.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Bishop Olma sent me a scripture. He sent me Isaiah
- 5:44Speaker 1: forty three one and two. And then that scripture it
- 5:47Speaker 1: says to the effect that you can walk through the
- 5:50Speaker 1: water of the rivers and the water won't overcome you.
- 5:54Speaker 1: But then it said you can walk through the fire,
- 5:57Speaker 1: and you will not get burned. Normal kindling set upon
- 6:02Speaker 1: your clothing. I learned something very valuable that day. See,
- 6:06Speaker 1: God sent me through something, but he was showing me
- 6:08Speaker 1: something too. Now he didn't do it. God didn't bring
- 6:12Speaker 1: that calamity into my life because in Isaiah fifty four
- 6:16Speaker 1: seventeen it says clearly that if anyone comes against you,
- 6:20Speaker 1: it will not be my doing. Now, this is what
- 6:22Speaker 1: he promised you. When people come for you don't see.
- 6:25Speaker 1: And this is what I learned. That's why I have
- 6:27Speaker 1: no fear of the people coming anymore because I learned that.
- 6:30Speaker 1: But God had to send me through a traumatic experience
- 6:33Speaker 1: in order for me to learn that. You can't have
- 6:35Speaker 1: a testimony without a test you know what I'm staying.
- 6:39Speaker 1: You can't learn nothing without a lesson. So what he
- 6:41Speaker 1: did was he allowed that internet thing crossed into my life,
- 6:45Speaker 1: but he taught me something. And Isaiah forty three one
- 6:48Speaker 1: and two was and you could walk through the fire
- 6:50Speaker 1: and not get burned. Normal kindling set upon your clothing.
- 6:53Speaker 1: So what that said to me was, even though you
- 6:56Speaker 1: trying to do me and it's fire all around me,
- 6:59Speaker 1: I won't burn. But when it's over, Kindlin won't set
- 7:03Speaker 1: upon your clothing. What that showed me was not only
- 7:06Speaker 1: would I walk through the fine not get burned, but
- 7:09Speaker 1: there would be no signs that I was ever in
- 7:11Speaker 1: the fire. There's no signs of it. But now hold up, though,
- 7:15Speaker 1: now he go to part though that I had to learn.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Even though you can walk through the fire, y'all, and
- 7:20Speaker 1: even though you're being flames and scorching all around you,
- 7:24Speaker 1: if you trust him, he ain't gonna let you burn.
- 7:26Speaker 1: But now hear what he did not say. Though he
- 7:28Speaker 1: did not say that it was not going to be
- 7:32Speaker 1: uncomfortably hot, wickedly hot in there. He can't say that.
- 7:37Speaker 1: He just said you won't burn, and when it's over,
- 7:40Speaker 1: it won't be no signs that you was in the fire.
- 7:43Speaker 1: See what happened to me was after they tried to
- 7:45Speaker 1: destroy me, let me show you what God did from it.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Not only did they not accomplish what they set out
- 7:50Speaker 1: to do, but when they was through with me, though,
- 7:53Speaker 1: when they was through throwing the gas and throwing the fire,
- 7:56Speaker 1: throwing their hate and writing it in line and create
- 8:00Speaker 1: all these names for themselves so it could look like
- 8:03Speaker 1: more people was hating. When they got through with all
- 8:05Speaker 1: that man, Look what he did to me. Look what
- 8:08Speaker 1: he did fun me because he taught me something that day,
- 8:11Speaker 1: And I'm sharing it with you because God will do
- 8:14Speaker 1: the same thing for you. But you gotta trust him though.
- 8:17Speaker 1: You got to get in there, and you got to
- 8:19Speaker 1: let him do it. You gotta let him handle it. So,
- 8:21Speaker 1: just like Pop Bridge just taught my wife, Margie, just
- 8:24Speaker 1: because you can do something, don't mean y'all to do something.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Yeah you could go down there and straight in the mouth,
- 8:29Speaker 1: but should you though? Yeah, you can go down there
- 8:31Speaker 1: and tell them all. Yeah, you can go down stand
- 8:33Speaker 1: up and make sure they know it's your voice that
- 8:35Speaker 1: they're hearing. And you can get in their face and
- 8:37Speaker 1: make a scene. But should you though, or should you
- 8:41Speaker 1: let go and let God? So before we run all
- 8:44Speaker 1: out in the streets and somebody go out there and
- 8:47Speaker 1: do something crazy, let's hold tight. Now. I'm not saying
- 8:50Speaker 1: don't go out there, but you gotta watch who you
- 8:52Speaker 1: go out there with. But you can go down there
- 8:54Speaker 1: with peace in your heart. Somebody decide I'm gonna throw
- 8:56Speaker 1: a brick through here and bust a wonder. Hold up, partner,
- 8:59Speaker 1: hold up there, and where we down here doing so?
- 9:01Speaker 1: See sometimes man, you gotta let go and you gotta
- 9:03Speaker 1: let God. You gotta let God have a situation sometimes
- 9:06Speaker 1: and you get it in and do the things that
- 9:07Speaker 1: He tells you to do. See Bishop woman and taught
- 9:10Speaker 1: me a lot. He had another book out and he said,
- 9:13Speaker 1: you know, knowing God's voice or something like that. I'm
- 9:15Speaker 1: not sure the title, but I never really knew the
- 9:18Speaker 1: definition of how do you know as God's voice talking
- 9:21Speaker 1: to you? Well, he clearly made a statement. God's voice
- 9:26Speaker 1: has no sin in it. Whenever you're talking about I'm
- 9:29Speaker 1: gonna go, I'm gonna show him. I'm gonna get him back.
- 9:32Speaker 1: If it's sin in it, God ain't in it. See
- 9:35Speaker 1: thats you now, God's voice has no sin in it.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So when you say God told me, be careful because
- 9:43Speaker 1: God ain't never told you to go do nothing wrong,
- 9:46Speaker 1: that ain't what he told you. And I learned that too.
- 9:49Speaker 1: It's a lot. So I'm just sharing to day. I
- 9:51Speaker 1: hope it helps somebody today get through a difficult time
- 9:54Speaker 1: because the show has helped me. Ladies and gentlemen, the
- 10:03Speaker 1: way we started the show right now to introduce you
- 10:05Speaker 1: to a man who is suing the music industry for
- 10:08Speaker 1: three trillion dollars, having claimed to have written every major
- 10:13Speaker 1: hit that is, ever was, and probably ever will be.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Roscoe Wallace with another hit he claims
- 10:24Speaker 1: to have written, I was born by the reever, A
- 10:33Speaker 1: little tit what I was born by the river A
- 10:48Speaker 1: litt oh And just like the river running, Roscoe been
- 10:57Speaker 1: running every sing ladies and gentlemen all that. Sam Cook
- 11:03Speaker 1: never paid me half dollar for that hit right there,
- 11:08Speaker 1: I lay claim to that. Another hit. I'll do him
- 11:11Speaker 1: every morning. Welcome to the ride, Joe the great great
- 11:16Speaker 1: of all time, rocker, Waller, shular caller, Tom Tommy, Julie music.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Everybody just so happy to be here. Get out to
- 11:24Speaker 1: way right now. But now you see why they old
- 11:28Speaker 1: me over a trillion dollars. Wait here going another right here?
- 11:35Speaker 1: Oh two two three? Beat the old beat? Hey, I said, beat?
- 11:53Speaker 1: Oh beat beat beat that You asked Joe about that?
- 12:00Speaker 1: Yeah you an't Joe Jack about that? Right? Anyway, y'all
- 12:05Speaker 1: have day. We'll be back when here tomorrow. Yeah man,
- 12:10Speaker 1: I love that. Let me ask something, yeah man? Yeah,
- 12:14Speaker 1: you know, um, I want to make you my teammates.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Is all good because you know Friday, you kind of
- 12:19Speaker 1: you kinda got tested with it on Friday about your
- 12:22Speaker 1: you know, you retire and walk away from the show
- 12:24Speaker 1: for fifty me and I can't do that. Yeah, you
- 12:28Speaker 1: really went off on us, and you called us small
- 12:31Speaker 1: minded people. Why we got to be small because we
- 12:33Speaker 1: understand how you can't retire for fifty me. Why why
- 12:36Speaker 1: are we small minded for them? Well? Because see, obviously
- 12:40Speaker 1: you don't want to do what I want to do
- 12:42Speaker 1: when y'all retire. That ain't none of my fault. I
- 12:46Speaker 1: don't know why what I want to do what I retire.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Why See, I don't want to go nowhere and sit down.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I want to go somewhere and live and live more abundantly.
- 12:57Speaker 1: That's how I want to retire and keep being able
- 12:59Speaker 1: to do what I'm doing. I don't want to go
- 13:01Speaker 1: sit down. Now. If y'all mad at me for not
- 13:04Speaker 1: wanting to go sit down, excuse me. Yeah, but you
- 13:07Speaker 1: went off on us. Yeah, well I went off on
- 13:09Speaker 1: y'all for that because y'all want me to look at
- 13:12Speaker 1: how do you get out be fifty million to be happy?
- 13:14Speaker 1: I don't want to do that. See the problem is
- 13:17Speaker 1: he see I didn't tell you. See see when you
- 13:21Speaker 1: took your twenty million and you was gone. I ain't
- 13:23Speaker 1: say nothing about that. Oh okay, we just wanted to
- 13:27Speaker 1: make sure, all right, why you got problem? Me want
- 13:30Speaker 1: more to fifty get out coming up at thirty two
- 13:32Speaker 1: million million, due to have some freens coming up at
- 13:37Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour. We'll have the pastors
- 13:40Speaker 1: and church complaints right after this. You're listening show. All right, guys,
- 13:46Speaker 1: time now for the pastors. It is the day after Sunday.
- 13:52Speaker 1: What that means that we are we pontificiously come on him,
- 14:01Speaker 1: Come in a glorious, maniferous way, realizing that I'm necloriously
- 14:12Speaker 1: we are I'm necloriously. We are entitled to the bereavement
- 14:22Speaker 1: of the hour. We are here now to gavel suspiciously
- 14:31Speaker 1: for the momentatiousness of the church and all it has
- 14:36Speaker 1: to complain about. Go ahead, Lord, all right, let's get that,
- 14:42Speaker 1: give me past the let's get down to it. Excuse me.
- 14:47Speaker 1: We're just finding this out. As yesterday they just let
- 14:52Speaker 1: them use the found the adult Halloween check and treat
- 14:55Speaker 1: didn't work out too well out Um, we have eight
- 14:58Speaker 1: members in jail too, Spider Man, a Chucket two, Jay
- 15:01Speaker 1: Z's and three ladies dressed up like dub GiB Uh.
- 15:05Speaker 1: They were going door to door. Yeah, they was going
- 15:09Speaker 1: door to door asking for margat readers and money and
- 15:12Speaker 1: sexy favors. They've been in jail for about a week
- 15:15Speaker 1: and now they need somebody to post the mail once again.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Pass and we got, um what we got. We got
- 15:21Speaker 1: two spider men, a chucket, two Jay Z's, and three
- 15:24Speaker 1: ladies dressed up like dub GiB These are all members
- 15:27Speaker 1: of the jail pass well. One of them should have
- 15:29Speaker 1: been a turney. Benjamin Krump looked like to meet the ship.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Is how they didn't think they had to dress up
- 15:36Speaker 1: with some damn help there on their own. Church. Can't
- 15:41Speaker 1: go down there. We don't go down there for spoting man.
- 15:43Speaker 1: You're not going down all right, damn little white dog
- 15:47Speaker 1: named chuck it damn. All right. Let's see if you
- 15:51Speaker 1: can fix this situation. We got an ancestry situation. Seems
- 15:55Speaker 1: like the Masons and the Jenkins are all kin to
- 15:59Speaker 1: each other, which kind of explains, you know, baby problem.
- 16:03Speaker 1: How you want to sort this out? The Masons and
- 16:05Speaker 1: the Jenkins, he had to chase, don't old study problem.
- 16:11Speaker 1: So they related for but they Yeah, that's not they
- 16:15Speaker 1: all one of them ain't Jenkins, and one of them
- 16:18Speaker 1: ain't Mason's after them. Man, I don't know what. I
- 16:20Speaker 1: don't what you said. They need two separate fabilies. As
- 16:23Speaker 1: you said, it's the Masis and your Jenkins married now
- 16:30Speaker 1: with much Yeah, a couple of its all been in
- 16:32Speaker 1: a twisted as. That explains why or the two for
- 16:38Speaker 1: the kids is still in Bob stilling. Yeah, but they
- 16:47Speaker 1: were adult clue for Yeah, ain't nobody is old? So
- 16:57Speaker 1: that explains why Earl Earle lean boy or Juniper he's
- 17:03Speaker 1: still in the second grade. Juniper, he's still in the
- 17:09Speaker 1: second grade. Yeah, he t is hard hard. Well, now
- 17:21Speaker 1: we know what didn't happen. Go ahead, deck and let's
- 17:24Speaker 1: just stay out of that and a lot let's let's
- 17:26Speaker 1: not make that church business. Yeah, well this is this
- 17:29Speaker 1: is a rougher one here right now. Yeah, when he
- 17:35Speaker 1: started his own business, Hordash is off to an amazing start.
- 17:40Speaker 1: But he wants you to come lay hands on the
- 17:43Speaker 1: girls and give it till blessings. Now, lady, you know
- 17:48Speaker 1: I can't do that. Bless your herd. Lenar is hard
- 17:52Speaker 1: as we've been praying for you to get you and
- 17:54Speaker 1: then you're gonna come up with hor dash quite catch you,
- 18:00Speaker 1: you ask me. But I can't lay hands on that,
- 18:04Speaker 1: not on the whole ass, because another lager. Ain't ain't
- 18:11Speaker 1: nothing in the world like getting anything you want to anything.
- 18:19Speaker 1: And I'll tell you one thing. One of the girls
- 18:22Speaker 1: has combined it and like something like she worked for
- 18:27Speaker 1: Uber Eats and sometimes she would go up and just
- 18:31Speaker 1: I heard her say to one of my neighbors, you
- 18:34Speaker 1: won't think, oh than what's in this bag? And and
- 18:38Speaker 1: a lot of it kind of like surprise. So it's
- 18:42Speaker 1: an interesting concept, Lenny, But I can't come down lay
- 18:45Speaker 1: my areas on that very But we would like to
- 18:48Speaker 1: know more about the service though, what's on the menu?
- 18:55Speaker 1: And hold they dash him right on over there. Let's see,
- 19:13Speaker 1: let's keep moving him past. Let's see what we got,
- 19:16Speaker 1: all right. Brother Darwin Phillips lost his job. He told
- 19:21Speaker 1: his boss, a white guy in instead of setting the
- 19:24Speaker 1: clocks back an hour, can they set it back befol slavery?
- 19:28Speaker 1: And then that's when the argument started. So what that's
- 19:32Speaker 1: what Brother Darwin Phillips lost his job. He told his boss,
- 19:36Speaker 1: a white guy. He told him instead of setting the
- 19:38Speaker 1: clocks back an hour while y'all set it back befold slavery,
- 19:41Speaker 1: and then he didn't get fired. But so he's looking
- 19:44Speaker 1: for help um to stay on his feet till they
- 19:47Speaker 1: get another job. I don't really know what made him
- 19:52Speaker 1: say that, knowing that that cannot happen. Yeah, yeah, I
- 19:57Speaker 1: understand h movement along past Will and Jada. You know what,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I never mad. It's just too confusing. We're not gonna
- 20:12Speaker 1: even do this today. Let's move along. This ends an issue. Uh,
- 20:17Speaker 1: there's an issue with the Chicken Place that we're gonna
- 20:20Speaker 1: use for the annual luncheon next week. Now, Sister Roxy,
- 20:24Speaker 1: Sister Roxy David said Chick fil A is nothing but
- 20:27Speaker 1: KFC that has accepted Christ as they lord and say, um,
- 20:32Speaker 1: that's how all it is. But she said, you design
- 20:34Speaker 1: past the Chick fil A, Um, KFC a poppe. After
- 20:40Speaker 1: that statement right there, why would I not choose chickfil
- 20:52Speaker 1: I'm next, asked the Cello Chief Love Officers, Steve Harvey.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming
- 21:00Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we'll talk about
- 21:03Speaker 1: rapper Travis Scott's Astro World Festival in Houston. Oh boy,
- 21:08Speaker 1: what a sad story right there. We'll talk about it though,
- 21:11Speaker 1: but right now, on a lighter note, we're gonna get
- 21:14Speaker 1: to ask the Cello chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in
- 21:18Speaker 1: the building for your love questions. This one is from
- 21:21Speaker 1: Barbara in DC. Barbara writes, I'm a single woman in
- 21:25Speaker 1: my mid forties and I have been waiting for my
- 21:27Speaker 1: boyfriend to propose. He said he's going to do it,
- 21:30Speaker 1: and I want him to stop dragging his feet and
- 21:33Speaker 1: do it. I went in his drawer while doing laundry
- 21:35Speaker 1: and I found a ring box, but no ring. I
- 21:38Speaker 1: couldn't help but ask him what happened to the ring?
- 21:41Speaker 1: Now he's upset and said, I ruined the whole thing.
- 21:45Speaker 1: How can he turn this on me when he's been
- 21:47Speaker 1: teasing me with a proposal for two years? Because why
- 21:51Speaker 1: would you go in there, say you found a ring box?
- 21:54Speaker 1: Why would you do that? You didn't think it was
- 21:56Speaker 1: getting close then, and now you'd ruin the whole surprise. Yeah,
- 22:01Speaker 1: what's wrong with you? So getting on? Yeah, he didn't
- 22:04Speaker 1: turn it on you. You created this yourself. You went
- 22:07Speaker 1: in his drawer, found the rheing box and then coming
- 22:10Speaker 1: that west. What's where the ring at. Damn, you've messed
- 22:14Speaker 1: up to surprise true statement? Sorry, yeah, why are you
- 22:19Speaker 1: all in his stuff? She was doing laundry whatever, I
- 22:24Speaker 1: got all of that. But you if you found the
- 22:27Speaker 1: rheing box, most women would go oh my god, oh
- 22:30Speaker 1: black God, and putty back and then went over there
- 22:32Speaker 1: and set down and been bubbled. Thank you. Now, if
- 22:36Speaker 1: it had took two weeks, the bubbling would have turned
- 22:37Speaker 1: into an eruption. But whatever, Yeah, all right, moving on.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Size could have been getting some most stones put on it,
- 22:48Speaker 1: could have been doing anything anything, Yeah, all right. So
- 22:52Speaker 1: Sherry and Doraville, Georgia says, I'm thirty seven and I
- 22:56Speaker 1: married to a man that was in a band for
- 22:58Speaker 1: eleven years. He's thirty five now and he's trying to
- 23:02Speaker 1: start up his band again. He's been working on original
- 23:04Speaker 1: music that he wrote in hopes that he can get
- 23:07Speaker 1: a deal with a record label. He has a decent voice,
- 23:11Speaker 1: but I wouldn't say he's a singer. He finally let
- 23:15Speaker 1: me hear what he wrote, and it was a rap
- 23:17Speaker 1: song with explicit lyrics. I think he's a bit old
- 23:21Speaker 1: for this, but I'm not a dream killer. How do
- 23:24Speaker 1: I handle this? Nicely send a tape to me. I
- 23:32Speaker 1: can't dream right off the bad. Yeah, first of all,
- 23:35Speaker 1: you got a band. We're the last time a band
- 23:38Speaker 1: got signed number two. He old number two. He can't sing,
- 23:44Speaker 1: it's just so much going on now of late. You
- 23:47Speaker 1: can't get record deals without being able to sing. But
- 23:51Speaker 1: she was in a band for eleven years. Now you're
- 23:52Speaker 1: gonna start it back up? I mean, man, good luck
- 23:56Speaker 1: to you. You know, I can't tell you not to
- 23:58Speaker 1: support him in all this here it could hit. It's unlikely,
- 24:02Speaker 1: but it could. But if it's in his heart to
- 24:05Speaker 1: do it, he gonna do it. I ain't no really,
- 24:07Speaker 1: no dream killer, but please send me that tape. I
- 24:10Speaker 1: can kill you used to pursue this any further? So
- 24:14Speaker 1: how should she handle it? Nicely? Just sending the tape?
- 24:18Speaker 1: Has anybody heard this other than me? Baby? Anybody Steve
- 24:23Speaker 1: gonna be the berry Gordon here? Uh huh? What do
- 24:26Speaker 1: your brother think? What think? Could your brother tell you
- 24:32Speaker 1: the truth? Most if you if you want to find
- 24:34Speaker 1: out what your idea sound like? To tell your brother? Yeah?
- 24:42Speaker 1: All right? Uh? Benita and Detroit says, five years ago,
- 24:47Speaker 1: my husband found out he has an outside child. It's
- 24:50Speaker 1: child is ten years old now, and my husband is
- 24:52Speaker 1: doing all he can to make up for lost time.
- 24:56Speaker 1: His son is very shy and has trouble making friends,
- 25:00Speaker 1: so I arranged a small get together at our house
- 25:03Speaker 1: and told him to invite a few friends. No one
- 25:06Speaker 1: showed up, and he was very sad. My husband blames
- 25:10Speaker 1: me for doing too much and making it worse. How
- 25:13Speaker 1: do I get him to see it? I was trying
- 25:15Speaker 1: to help. You were trying to help. Yeah, I can't
- 25:20Speaker 1: help it because your little boy ain't nothing, man. No,
- 25:25Speaker 1: I mean, he ain't got no social skills. You've seen
- 25:28Speaker 1: this before. Hell, I've been a little boy up at
- 25:32Speaker 1: the school without no friends. I know, h Non. I studied, Yeah,
- 25:38Speaker 1: big little big nose. You know you got them them
- 25:42Speaker 1: type of credentials, and you study. You could have had
- 25:45Speaker 1: no friend. But the only thing save me my ass shop.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I could play everything. That's the only thing saved me.
- 25:52Speaker 1: And I ain't got to be studied and don't work
- 25:54Speaker 1: on basketball courts, So cook because all I gotta do
- 25:57Speaker 1: is just grunt and makes sounds. Anyway, pep the ball
- 26:01Speaker 1: be on the way. They know I'm trying to say fasts,
- 26:06Speaker 1: Well I'm not when I studied you so you you
- 26:13Speaker 1: you so. Daton called me about four five names by
- 26:18Speaker 1: the time I got it out. But what about her husband, though,
- 26:21Speaker 1: Steve saying she's making it worse. She tried to help.
- 26:26Speaker 1: It's what she did. I know, I know y'all trying
- 26:29Speaker 1: to find a way to help it. Had a little
- 26:31Speaker 1: something at the house. Invite your friend, anybody coming over
- 26:34Speaker 1: to toxic anybody, nobody come over the house, people that
- 26:36Speaker 1: don't like Yeah, so maybe she can try other ways. Yeah,
- 26:43Speaker 1: you got to take him to people house, take him
- 26:45Speaker 1: to places, let him show him my other kids in
- 26:48Speaker 1: an act. But you're not mad at her husband for
- 26:52Speaker 1: doing what he did. He did to her. Yeah, he's stupid,
- 26:54Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. He wronged for that. All she
- 26:58Speaker 1: was doing was trying to help. Just say, look, I
- 27:00Speaker 1: was just trying to help. But I'll tell you what,
- 27:02Speaker 1: I know, you're trying to have relationship. I'll stay back
- 27:05Speaker 1: if you need me. Let me know he gonna need
- 27:07Speaker 1: you because he ain't gonna know what to do. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:10Speaker 1: all right, But you're trying to turn this little boy
- 27:12Speaker 1: into a social butterfly. Dad ain't fit to him, all right?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Moving on, Terra and Indiana says, I got married and
- 27:22Speaker 1: my husband has issues with wearing my clothes. I thought
- 27:27Speaker 1: the woman was supposed to wear the man's clothes, but
- 27:29Speaker 1: he wears my house slippers, my robe, and my t shirts. Yes,
- 27:35Speaker 1: he has a small frame, but he's tall, so he's
- 27:37Speaker 1: able to wear my stuff. He says. The idea of
- 27:41Speaker 1: wearing my clothes is a turn on for him. I
- 27:44Speaker 1: want him to stay out of my closet, and how
- 27:47Speaker 1: can I keep him out of my thing so our
- 27:49Speaker 1: marriage will survive? Well, lady, okay, well I try to
- 27:54Speaker 1: be careful, but let me just tell you I'm not
- 27:56Speaker 1: gonna be helping, not because I've never been in my
- 28:01Speaker 1: wife's clauset trying to close. And the main reason I
- 28:04Speaker 1: know you say he's small frame, How small is he?
- 28:10Speaker 1: Well you know it's it's this really your man, or
- 28:13Speaker 1: it's this just your baby? Because see something going on
- 28:16Speaker 1: right here because I can't wear nothing. Margic got not
- 28:19Speaker 1: a damn thing. And the day that me and Marge
- 28:22Speaker 1: is wearing the same size, that's probably the end I
- 28:25Speaker 1: marriage bottle right there. I'm not saying she can't get bigger,
- 28:30Speaker 1: because she can't. She can't get this damn big. She
- 28:34Speaker 1: can't she can't be me. That's not fitting to happen.
- 28:39Speaker 1: What you're not fit to do. It's something here. I'm
- 28:42Speaker 1: trying to slip her blouse over my head and that's
- 28:44Speaker 1: around my neck, look like a choker. It just ain't
- 28:47Speaker 1: no way. It just ain't know the way I wish
- 28:52Speaker 1: I would put on a pair of her pants, sliding
- 28:54Speaker 1: panels up on me, look like I got on a
- 28:56Speaker 1: band aid sleep and something my wife had on, looking
- 29:02Speaker 1: like a little band daid over here. Manout you where
- 29:05Speaker 1: it is when you write to Cello? I don't know.
- 29:09Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Clo. We gotta go. Coming up
- 29:13Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. We'll have some entertainment
- 29:15Speaker 1: news where you right after this you're listening to the show.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Such a sad story out of Houston, guys. Eight people
- 29:24Speaker 1: died and hundreds were injured in a stampede of fans
- 29:28Speaker 1: at rapper Travis Scott's Astro World concert in Houston. This
- 29:32Speaker 1: happened Friday night, the first night of the Astra World festival,
- 29:35Speaker 1: drew a crowd of about fifty thousand people to Energy Park.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Fans started just pushing toward the stage when Travis was performing,
- 29:46Speaker 1: causing panic in the crowd. Security and medics had to
- 29:49Speaker 1: rush in to rescue people who had been trampled and
- 29:52Speaker 1: crushed or had passed out, and the show was eventually stopped.
- 29:57Speaker 1: The second night of the show has been canceled. Travis
- 30:00Speaker 1: Scott issued a statement on Saturday pledging his total support
- 30:03Speaker 1: to the Houston Police Department. Take a listen. I just
- 30:06Speaker 1: want to send out prayers to the to the ones
- 30:09Speaker 1: I was lost last night. We're actually working right now
- 30:13Speaker 1: to identify the families so we can help assist him
- 30:17Speaker 1: through this tough time. My fans really need the world
- 30:20Speaker 1: to me and I always just really want to leave
- 30:23Speaker 1: them with a positive experience. And any time I can
- 30:26Speaker 1: make out, you know, anything that's going on, you know,
- 30:29Speaker 1: I you know, I just stopped the show and you know,
- 30:33Speaker 1: help them get the help they need. You know, Um,
- 30:37Speaker 1: I could just never imagine the surradio the situation. We've
- 30:41Speaker 1: been working closely, We've been working closely with everyone to
- 30:45Speaker 1: just try to get to the bottom of this City
- 30:47Speaker 1: of Houston, HPD, Fire Department, you know, everyone you know
- 30:52Speaker 1: to help us, help us figure this out. So if
- 30:54Speaker 1: you if you have any information, you know, please just
- 30:58Speaker 1: contact your local authorities, everybody. Continue to just keep your prayers.
- 31:02Speaker 1: I mean, I'm honestly just devastated and I could never
- 31:07Speaker 1: imagine anything like this just happening. I'm gonna do everything
- 31:11Speaker 1: I can and keep you guys updated and to you
- 31:14Speaker 1: guys informed on what's going on. I love your own Yeah, yeah,
- 31:23Speaker 1: you know. He's taken a very proactive stance, which I
- 31:27Speaker 1: think is the most powerful way I've ever seen anybody
- 31:31Speaker 1: address anything. He didn't address it in print, he spoke.
- 31:35Speaker 1: This is the most powerful way I think it could
- 31:38Speaker 1: be addressed, and I applaud him for addressing it like that.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Most people just release a statement through that lawyer or
- 31:44Speaker 1: the publicist and that's it. For this young man to
- 31:48Speaker 1: come out and verbalize it and put his heartfelt in it,
- 31:51Speaker 1: I think that's that's that's going way beyond what most
- 31:56Speaker 1: other people do. You ain't heard a word. Is there
- 32:02Speaker 1: any videos on anybody else to what like? Like, I
- 32:05Speaker 1: haven't heard it, but I haven't heard them. Message from
- 32:08Speaker 1: Alex Balwin on the set when that tragedy happened. I
- 32:11Speaker 1: hear statements coming from people. That's why I'm saying what
- 32:15Speaker 1: this young man is doing is I think very very
- 32:19Speaker 1: special and rare in this business because they never your
- 32:23Speaker 1: publicist and lawyer will tell you not to open your mouth.
- 32:27Speaker 1: It's your statement and go sit down for him to
- 32:31Speaker 1: say this. Let me know if you know anything. I'm
- 32:33Speaker 1: trying to reach out and help the families. That's above
- 32:37Speaker 1: and beyond. Man, it's tragic what happened. I couldn't believe
- 32:41Speaker 1: it when I heard it. Yeah, I said, what because
- 32:46Speaker 1: but I mean there was no violence. I mean, there
- 32:49Speaker 1: wasn't doing an act of violence. Wasn't a riot that
- 32:52Speaker 1: broke out of nothing, nor a fight. From what I understand,
- 32:57Speaker 1: it's just a pushing in the crowd. Yeah. No, Travis
- 33:01Speaker 1: Scott is a rock star for sure. He has, you know,
- 33:05Speaker 1: a big following his fans. So the concert, you know,
- 33:08Speaker 1: it's that rock style type of concert where the fans
- 33:12Speaker 1: stand it up and they're gathered, and he just didn't know,
- 33:17Speaker 1: like he said in his own words, the severity of
- 33:19Speaker 1: what was happening in that moment. So it's just really sad.
- 33:23Speaker 1: He does a lot of good work for the city
- 33:25Speaker 1: of Houston, a lot of humanitarian work, and so he
- 33:30Speaker 1: did it all week leading up to the concert. He
- 33:32Speaker 1: was going around school districts giving back and donating money.
- 33:36Speaker 1: So he's always giving back to the city. So it's
- 33:38Speaker 1: just right. And normally his concerts are just about fun
- 33:42Speaker 1: and music, you know, fun and music. I don't, I don't.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I don't understand a ten year old being at an
- 33:48Speaker 1: event like this. That just seems too young to me.
- 33:51Speaker 1: That was a poor decision for a ten year old
- 33:54Speaker 1: child to be. Yeah, I don't know. It seems like
- 33:58Speaker 1: his special guests was Drake Yeah, and then after the
- 34:02Speaker 1: people tried to bomb rush to see Drake Moore the
- 34:05Speaker 1: stage area. So it's just it's really sad though Steve
- 34:09Speaker 1: Now Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner called for law enforcement, federal organizer,
- 34:16Speaker 1: Live Nation, and the venue to explain how the event
- 34:18Speaker 1: got out of control. There was a Houston Police Chief,
- 34:23Speaker 1: Troy Finner, said a security guard who was reaching out
- 34:26Speaker 1: to restrain a concert reported that he felt a prick
- 34:30Speaker 1: in his neck and then he felt unconscious. On site,
- 34:34Speaker 1: medical staff administered narkan to revive the security guard and
- 34:37Speaker 1: medical staff did notice a prick that was similar to
- 34:41Speaker 1: a prick that you would get if somebody was trying
- 34:43Speaker 1: to inject you. Officials say they are actively investigating to
- 34:47Speaker 1: find out what actually happened. So this will be an
- 34:50Speaker 1: ongoing investigation, many many levels to this whole situation, many levels. Well,
- 34:56Speaker 1: you know, and whatever happens, I mean, I just think
- 35:01Speaker 1: it happened in the crowd. I don't think I'm Travis
- 35:04Speaker 1: Scott's not on stage find up the crowd to do
- 35:07Speaker 1: a certain thing. Unlike we've seen people get on stage
- 35:12Speaker 1: and incite the crowd to do things. January six, go
- 35:19Speaker 1: down there and take it over. Now you are now
- 35:24Speaker 1: responsible for the crowd going to do something. Travis Scott
- 35:28Speaker 1: is just performing, but like y'll say, he's a rock
- 35:30Speaker 1: star status, then they'd be jumping in chanting and whatever
- 35:33Speaker 1: they're doing, and it got out of hand. I didn't know.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I didn't I didn't know a ten year old got hurt.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I didn't know that. I didn't know. Yah, fourteen year
- 35:42Speaker 1: old really sad and among the singles. All right, coming up,
- 35:47Speaker 1: we'll have more of a Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 35:49Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show. All right, here's a
- 35:55Speaker 1: question for you guys. Would you cheat for a billion dollars?
- 36:01Speaker 1: Would you cheat or a billion dollars? It's a question.
- 36:03Speaker 1: A viral TikTok videos. It's causing couples. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 36:10Speaker 1: let me get billion dollars, A billion with a B
- 36:14Speaker 1: A viral. There's no way I'm cheating for a billion?
- 36:17Speaker 1: A billion? All right? Listen. A viral TikTok video is
- 36:22Speaker 1: causing couples to have a very awkward discussion. Understandably so.
- 36:27Speaker 1: In the clip, a woman asked her boyfriend if he
- 36:30Speaker 1: would cheat on her for one billion with a B dollars.
- 36:34Speaker 1: He answered yes, and then doubled down, doubled down on
- 36:39Speaker 1: that answer, saying he would do it for a hundred
- 36:41Speaker 1: thousand dollars because quote wait wait, wait, wait, understand his reasoning.
- 36:48Speaker 1: He said he would do it four one hundred thousand
- 36:49Speaker 1: dollars because it's for us, baby, it's for us to question.
- 36:59Speaker 1: He answer your question, M would you cheat for a
- 37:03Speaker 1: billion dollars? Asking us the marriage? No? No, I'm asking no.
- 37:08Speaker 1: I won't clarity on this question. Yeah, this is it.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Does she have to know decent proposal? The Woody Heroes? Probably,
- 37:23Speaker 1: I'm Steve, Now, I don't know. When you come home
- 37:25Speaker 1: with this billion, you're gonna know. This is interesting because
- 37:28Speaker 1: that's your number, a billion. This is an interesting question.
- 37:34Speaker 1: This is what you're I don't even know what the
- 37:36Speaker 1: discussion is. Your goal exactly. I've been to do this
- 37:42Speaker 1: right in front of you. You're gonna have to understand this.
- 37:44Speaker 1: You have to take us team. You got to understand
- 37:47Speaker 1: what we're doing right here. Okay, I love that time
- 37:50Speaker 1: and the kids upstand. Let me go and get this
- 37:53Speaker 1: over with. Man, we got to get this. I got
- 37:55Speaker 1: to go to work. You can coach me through this,
- 38:01Speaker 1: because our fearless leader is awfully quiet right now. I'm
- 38:09Speaker 1: struggling only in the regard of this. If I had
- 38:15Speaker 1: a billion dollars without who I love and who I
- 38:23Speaker 1: really enjoy my life with as I have now, would
- 38:27Speaker 1: I still enjoy my life because I have discovered something. Okay,
- 38:33Speaker 1: and I'm not trying to be cliche, but money can't
- 38:36Speaker 1: buy you happiness. It can buy you a whole lot
- 38:39Speaker 1: of things, but happiness is not one of the things
- 38:44Speaker 1: I can do. And right now I find myself in
- 38:47Speaker 1: the middle of happiness. I don't have a billion dollars,
- 38:52Speaker 1: but I'm happy and I have billion dollars looking at
- 38:56Speaker 1: me like that. Hold on, Tommy, you got to kill
- 39:00Speaker 1: looking at me like this. We can come back and
- 39:02Speaker 1: discuss came about you have me hop about every damn thing. Well,
- 39:09Speaker 1: we gotta take a break. We'll find out what Steve's
- 39:11Speaker 1: answer to the question would you cheat for a billion?
- 39:14Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 39:19Speaker 1: All right, the questions on the table. It is out there.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Would you cheat for a billion dollars? This came from
- 39:24Speaker 1: a viral TikTok video causing couples just to have this conversation.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Um this. One woman asked her boyfriend would he cheat
- 39:31Speaker 1: on her for a billion? He answered yes, no hesitation,
- 39:36Speaker 1: even double down, saying he would do it for a
- 39:38Speaker 1: hundred thousand because, quote, it's for us, the empire. That's
- 39:45Speaker 1: really some great logic. It's for us, well all of us. Yeah,
- 39:52Speaker 1: a billion would allow me to retire completely forever gone.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Oh this is about your future? Yeah yeah, this is
- 40:02Speaker 1: this is this is all in. This is bye to everybody.
- 40:05Speaker 1: This is signing off, this is uh uh closing down.
- 40:11Speaker 1: It's I G Facebook, this is a thanking ABC. This
- 40:16Speaker 1: is all having a clear conversation without heart. This is
- 40:22Speaker 1: going into Freeman only talking with the calling up Denmark Mercury,
- 40:28Speaker 1: the distributors. I got a lot of people I gotta
- 40:30Speaker 1: talk to. Uh, it's about, you know, shutting down offices.
- 40:35Speaker 1: I have openings like I gotta, I gotta give the
- 40:38Speaker 1: least spaces, and it's just so much I have to do.
- 40:41Speaker 1: So Marjorie said, it's okay, begrudgingly. Grudgingly you would ask, well,
- 40:56Speaker 1: I mean it has to it's between the couple, right
- 41:00Speaker 1: So you you you're saying you have to get permission
- 41:02Speaker 1: from your spouse. Oh now, if they don't know when
- 41:05Speaker 1: you get the billion, I have to explain why I
- 41:08Speaker 1: got the billion from it? Yeah, later later, But let
- 41:13Speaker 1: me tell you something that lie you fitting here on
- 41:19Speaker 1: and I'm telling you right now. If I just show
- 41:21Speaker 1: up with a random billion, better believe it's gonna have

- 45:22Speaker 1: calling you off for down man, you didn't mind. I
- 45:24Speaker 1: wanted to. I'm going, I'm getting ready to do my thesis. Man,
- 45:27Speaker 1: I'm doing my thesis for the end of the year.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Uh into the semester man for med school. And then
- 45:34Speaker 1: they told me your wife, you know, that might be

- 46:26Speaker 1: thesis a video and opposed to a report. So everything

- 46:32Speaker 1: do is actually get a time where I can hook
- 46:33Speaker 1: up with you and maybe examine you and get all

- 50:17Speaker 1: just amazed at the level that he'll go to for
- 50:23Speaker 1: these pranks. Somebody, and I'm not gonna be able to
- 50:28Speaker 1: save him. Somebody, somebody gonna get to him before he saved.
- 50:34Speaker 1: This is nephew Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 50:38Speaker 1: Somebody gonna get to him fo that or somebody gonna
- 50:43Speaker 1: after that gonna go you know what, I've been thinking
- 50:47Speaker 1: about this prank and the way it made me feel
- 50:49Speaker 1: over the years. Or my blood pressure did go up
- 50:52Speaker 1: and I had to have several stints put in my
- 50:54Speaker 1: chest after that phone call. When I see him, yeah, yeah,
- 50:58Speaker 1: it's gonna get that serious. YEO. When I see him,
- 51:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna hurt him. And that's what I'm afraid of.
- 51:06Speaker 1: Matter what stints gonna up my ass. Well, it ain't
- 51:10Speaker 1: the stints that's gonna quip your ass is to cause
- 51:13Speaker 1: other stints. It's gonna get the ass because one of
- 51:20Speaker 1: these people gonna have a heart attack on this phone
- 51:22Speaker 1: talking to you, man, because you got that. I don't
- 51:25Speaker 1: want that. I don't want I try to make sure
- 51:30Speaker 1: they all right. For getting I think one just in time. Yeah,
- 51:34Speaker 1: it could have won another level. Yeah, yeah, you know
- 51:37Speaker 1: about another minute. I think I'd have been on the
- 51:39Speaker 1: other side of No one when to stop. That's the key.
- 51:43Speaker 1: No one win to stop. Heard that of so many times,
- 51:52Speaker 1: no one to stop. Yeah, I just say this. I
- 51:56Speaker 1: didn't plan on any of my kids stop that. Yes,
- 52:02Speaker 1: come on, no, dog, I didn't. You will just say
- 52:07Speaker 1: anything that comes to your head. Don't listen to me.
- 52:12Speaker 1: I've told all my kids this. None of you were playing.
- 52:17Speaker 1: Listen to me, y'all. A woman came up to me
- 52:20Speaker 1: and said I'm pregnant every time, and in my mind
- 52:26Speaker 1: I went him no, And then after that I went,
- 52:33Speaker 1: oh my god, sit down, are you okay? But the first,
- 52:39Speaker 1: the first reaction in my head, I ain't say it.
- 52:42Speaker 1: I live with him. When the twins was born, him. No,
- 52:50Speaker 1: I don't even working two people. I didn't even work it,
- 52:56Speaker 1: and I didn't even know what twins at the time
- 53:00Speaker 1: was born. What hey, I gotta jump in. I'm gonna

- 53:57Speaker 1: and hold on tight. We got it for you. Here
- 53:59Speaker 1: it is, Thank you, nephew. Subjects. He got fired and
- 54:03Speaker 1: put out of the house. Dear Stephen Shirley, I was
- 54:07Speaker 1: married for six years to a man that I didn't
- 54:09Speaker 1: even want to be with at first, but he pursued
- 54:12Speaker 1: me heavily and I gave in after he proposed to me.
- 54:16Speaker 1: I waited three years to marry him, and I guess
- 54:19Speaker 1: it was my intuition because I had second thoughts about
- 54:22Speaker 1: getting married up until my wedding day. Looking back on things,
- 54:27Speaker 1: the signs were there that he was a cheater, but
- 54:29Speaker 1: we had sex three or four times a week, and
- 54:31Speaker 1: I was naive enough to think that would satisfy him.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Whenever he was in the bathroom, he locked the door
- 54:38Speaker 1: and he'd be in the shower a very long time.
- 54:41Speaker 1: His phone was always in his hand or in his pocket,
- 54:45Speaker 1: and he stopped wearing his ring and told me he
- 54:48Speaker 1: didn't want to damage it at work. But I found
- 54:51Speaker 1: out that he's a liar that lies about everything. Here's
- 54:54Speaker 1: what happened. He works as a logistics supervisor for a
- 54:58Speaker 1: delivery service and he had a driver that didn't show
- 55:00Speaker 1: up so he had to cover the delivery route himself,
- 55:04Speaker 1: and he was driving a company vehicle and he stopped
- 55:07Speaker 1: by a woman's home and her husband came home and
- 55:10Speaker 1: caught them having sex. They got into a fight in
- 55:14Speaker 1: the front yard and the lady called the cops. My
- 55:17Speaker 1: husband had weed on him, so he got arrested. I
- 55:22Speaker 1: didn't even know he smoked weed. He got fired for
- 55:25Speaker 1: having the marijuana in a company vehicle. I went to
- 55:28Speaker 1: the jail to bail him out, but I heard what
- 55:31Speaker 1: had happened, so I left him there. He got out
- 55:34Speaker 1: the next day and all of his clothes and personal
- 55:37Speaker 1: belongings were packed up in his car, and I put
- 55:40Speaker 1: the car on the street. I told him to leave
- 55:42Speaker 1: and never come back. When I saw him at a
- 55:46Speaker 1: divorce mediation, he got so mad that he admitted to
- 55:49Speaker 1: having several women on the side. How could he ruin
- 55:52Speaker 1: my life like this? Will I ever be able to
- 55:55Speaker 1: trust a man again? Please advise, listen, let me tell
- 55:59Speaker 1: you something, and you should be thanking God right now
- 56:03Speaker 1: that you got out of this mess. And that guy
- 56:05Speaker 1: got you out of this mess. This marriage was a
- 56:08Speaker 1: disaster from beginning to end. You said in the letter
- 56:11Speaker 1: you didn't want him in the first place. You knew
- 56:14Speaker 1: up until your wedding day that this was the wrong
- 56:17Speaker 1: thing to do, and you're right. Three to four times
- 56:19Speaker 1: a week was putting in work. So please do not
- 56:23Speaker 1: blame yourself. Don't blame yourself. Let's face it, your husband
- 56:27Speaker 1: was stupid. I mean, you didn't know it at the
- 56:30Speaker 1: time it was happening, but he did a lot of
- 56:32Speaker 1: stupid stuff. I mean, what gave him the idea that
- 56:35Speaker 1: he could do all this and never get caught and
- 56:38Speaker 1: then get mad and tell you about it at the
- 56:40Speaker 1: divorce mediation to what make you feel even worse? You know, Well,
- 56:45Speaker 1: he did finally get caught, and that was a good
- 56:47Speaker 1: thing for you. I will say that again. It was
- 56:51Speaker 1: like he wanted you to find out because he really
- 56:53Speaker 1: got careless. With the marijuana in the company vehicle, with
- 56:57Speaker 1: being over this married woman's house. I mean, that was
- 57:01Speaker 1: just crazy. It's gonna take a little time. You ask
- 57:05Speaker 1: if you'll ever be able to trust a man again.
- 57:07Speaker 1: It'll take a little time. But I said, go on,
- 57:09Speaker 1: get out, you know, get back out there and date.
- 57:12Speaker 1: If you allow yourself to open up when it comes
- 57:15Speaker 1: to the right one, and when the right one comes along,
- 57:18Speaker 1: you can begin to trust again, but you need to
- 57:21Speaker 1: trust yourself first. You said you had second thoughts, and
- 57:24Speaker 1: that was an important sign that you missed. So please
- 57:27Speaker 1: don't take your bad marriage baggage into your new relationship
- 57:31Speaker 1: by complaining, you know, to all the men and comparing
- 57:35Speaker 1: all the men to your lowdown husband. This time, you know,
- 57:39Speaker 1: just be better at believing and acting on those warning signs,
- 57:42Speaker 1: because they are there. Steve, he got fired and put
- 57:47Speaker 1: out the house. That ain't even what's this letter about?
- 57:50Speaker 1: Just the worst subject we've ever had, because this ain't
- 57:52Speaker 1: got nothing to do with him getting fired or put
- 57:54Speaker 1: out the house. This letter is about something totally different.
- 58:00Speaker 1: I don't, ma'am. He was married for six years to
- 58:04Speaker 1: a man that you didn't even want to be with
- 58:08Speaker 1: at first, Okay, but he pursued you heavily, and you
- 58:14Speaker 1: gave in after he proposed. You waited three years to
- 58:18Speaker 1: marry him. I guess it was my intuition, my intuition,
- 58:24Speaker 1: because I had second thoughts about getting married all the
- 58:28Speaker 1: way up until my wedding day. Oh my god, So
- 58:34Speaker 1: your five alarm fire bells alarm, which is your intuition,
- 58:39Speaker 1: has been going off from day one. It went off
- 58:44Speaker 1: the entire three years, and it continued to ring, ring, ring,
- 58:48Speaker 1: right up until your wedding day. And you ignored that.
- 58:52Speaker 1: I told women a long time ago that intuition is real. See.
- 58:57Speaker 1: God gives women intuition. And the reason he gives women
- 59:02Speaker 1: intuition unlike he gives it to men, is because it's
- 59:05Speaker 1: women's device that He awarded them to help protect them
- 59:09Speaker 1: from the hunter, which is us. So when we come
- 59:13Speaker 1: with the hunting, with debait, the games, the traps, and
- 59:18Speaker 1: sometimes the lies your bills. An alarm clock that goes
- 59:22Speaker 1: off is called your intuition. It goes off to alert
- 59:26Speaker 1: you danger. Danger. Now, if you ignore that, then we
- 59:31Speaker 1: have this letter looking back on things. The signs was
- 59:35Speaker 1: that that he was a cheater. It was all there.
- 59:38Speaker 1: We had sex three four times a week. I was
- 59:39Speaker 1: there enough. Thank That is satisfying. But when it was
- 59:42Speaker 1: in the bathroom he killed. He locked the door. He'd
- 59:45Speaker 1: be in a shower long time. His phone is always
- 59:47Speaker 1: in his hand, his pocket. He stopped wearing his wearing ring.
- 59:51Speaker 1: Told you he didn't want to damage it at work. Wow,
- 59:55Speaker 1: famous people don't have to wear wearing rings. Everybody know
- 59:58Speaker 1: we're married. Regular people you gotta put that damn ring over.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: You can't go no way talking about you. You ain't
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: because you because you're gonna use that as the latter.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: When we come back, I'll continue this. This is not
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: an enjoyable letter, though. I want you to know that
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: this is not an enjoyable letter for you. I'm having
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: a great time no reading. We'll have part two off
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: The subject he got fired and put out of the house.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry. Let her.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: The subject is he got fired and put out of
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: the house. The title subject you don't like, yeah, because
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: it has nothing to do with the letter. This letter
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: is about a woman who ignored her intuition. She was
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: with this guy for six years, but the whole time
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: he answered the marriage, she thought second. She thought about
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: it over and over. She didn't like the idea. He
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: pursued her heavily for three years. He didn't marry her
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: because she just had us feeling about it. Then asked
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: you to marriage. She had doubts about this marriage all
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: the way up to the wedding day. Because intuition works.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Is God's protective factor that he instilled in all women,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: is called women's intuition. You all have it much much
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: sharper and better than men, and it protects you from
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: the game, the traps and sometimes the lies. You have
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: to not ignore the intuition. But she said she always
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: knew he was a Cheatahship, the signs were there. They
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: was having sexty four times a week. Thought that was satisfying.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: But he going to bathroom, locked a dooey in the shower,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: long time phone in his hand, and didn't wear his
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: ring at work, didn't want to damage it. Then, she says,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: but I find out he lies about everything. Here's what happened.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: He works as a logistics supervisor. This is important because
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: if you're logistics supervisor, that means you should be good
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: at logistics. That's what it symbolizes. Let me show you
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: why he ain't got the job no more, because an
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Auletta says he got fired and put out the house.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: And let me tell you why, because he don't know
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: nothing about no damn logistics. And so here is who
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: had happened. He works for a delivery service a driver
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: didn't show up, so he had to cover the delivery
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: route himself. He was driving a company vehicle and he stopped.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Here we go by a woman's home and her husband
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: came home and caught them having sex. Where is the
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: logistics in that, right, dude? I don't understand you going
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: by another man's house to have sex with his wife. Man,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: where your room when you got to get control of something?
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: That logistics is off right here? Not a husband come
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: in and all hell break loose? So guess what? They
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: got into a fight in the front yard. Bro. First
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: of all, you're not leaving that bed through. Secondly, you're naked.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: It's hard to fight naked. I'm not giving you time
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: to dress. Ain't none of this ship. But they're fighting
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: so hard in the front yard. I mean, y'all, they
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: bugging so hard. This woman called the police. Let me
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: tell you something. Do you know it take a police
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: at least a few minutes. Yea, even in the best
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: of neighborhoods, is a three to five minute response time.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: I don't know where they had, but let's just say
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: they're in a great neighborhood. Response time is three to
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: five minutes. Five minutes an ass woman. That's a long
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: ass fight. Dog. They're fighting so hard that the police
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: come and your husband had weed on him, so he
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: got arrested. I didn't even know he's smoked weed? Or
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: do you have COVID? You can't ain't smell? Goodness, where
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: did you come home? You've got to be having COVID?
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: How the hell you can't tell somebody had been smoking weed.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I don't smoke weed, but I know what we smell like. Yeah,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: he got fired for having the marijuana in a company vehicle.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: What where's the logistics in this? I went to the
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: jail to baire him out, but I heard what had happened,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: so I left him there. So you went to jail
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: a bailey baby. I got to get out. They found
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: some weed in the car, but you got out there.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: So you got to ask the police as you offer
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: a bell, what is he being charged with? Disorderly conduct, conduct, fighting,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: domestic violence? What is the domestic violence? Well, he was
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: at a woman's house and her husband came home and
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: he was fighting him. Yeah, why was he fighting my husband? Well,
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: because he came home early and he was over there.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: My husband is a logistics supervisor. Where's the logistics in this,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: but because he ain't got no business, Damn supervisor. He
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: got out the next day and all his closing personal
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: belongings were packed in his car, and I put the
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: car on the street. I told him to leave and
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: never come back. When I saw him at the divorce mediation,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: he got so mad that he admitted to having several
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: women on the side. Where it's the logistics in that
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: you already any here losing dog. Now you come in
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: here to make sure you lose. How could he ruin
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: my life like this? Your life isn't ruined. Your life
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: has been saved. The breakup is often the blessing. Now
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: you're no longer married to a Cheatah, will I ever
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: be able to trust a man again? You won't be
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: able to trust him again, But you can trust a
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: man again. The man that walked in and his wife
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: was having sexual he'd be able to trust a woman again.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I bet you he will so after he got arrested
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: in everything and all is here man, he got fired
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: from his job and all like that. It's just please advise, lady.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: The breakup is the blessing. You can't trust him again,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: but you can. But this dude consistently makes stupid mistakes,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: and now you're away from him, and you don't have
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: to be a part of the stupid mistakes. It don't
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: make no sense what he did. He's not a logical
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: thinking person, so he's no longer the logistics supervisor. And
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: now you are free. Congratulations, go do you all right?
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Hit us up on Instagram and Steve HARVFM with your
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: thoughts on today's Struwberry Letter and check out the Strawberry
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Letter podcast on demand. Coming up next, Junior and Sports
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Talk right after this. You're listening, all right, here we
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: go Junior and Sports Talk. It is that time? What
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: you got Junior? All right, Shirley, Uh, Tommy, listen, man,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: what is going on with is Aaron Rodgerston? You know
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers tested positive nineteen and uh, you know he
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: said he was immunized, and uh, everybody's a little upset him, man,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: because they said he's not perceiving the same backlash as
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: y'all did. Kyrie Irving? What what? What? What is this about? Really?
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I mean, is about the fact that he did it
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: was emmy he lied or is he just was misleading?
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: The same backlash is not the same as Kyrie Irger.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: First of all, they don't live on the state that
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: has a vaccine mandate. The NFL policy is different from
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: the NBA policy. So this ain't. This ain't this is
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: apples and orange just right here. The man said he
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: was immunized because he took these other treatments, because he
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: says he's allergic to the things that's in the vaccine, right,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: So I don't know what they want to happen. He lied,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: and you know, because he was sending them in the
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: reporter room with no mask on talking because you got
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: you know, you're not vaccinated, you gotta have a mask on.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: So he said he was mean nass, which we don't
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: know how and what we don't even came over something
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: he took some vitamin seeing some garlic clothes, chicken feet
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: on his neck, you know, lemon water steam. I don't
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: know what he would taking so cost on his tea,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: you know, something like that, something like that. Also trouble
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: in Cleveland, Uhland. Oh oh, thell Bethham Julia has been
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: released by the Cleveland Brown This this, this, this problem
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: probably sucked up right here. Yeah, well, he wasn't getting
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: the ball thrown to him and uh, he said, Hey, man,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: I won't out. He out's been released by Cleveland brown
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: I don't know how you felt about this news. Probably
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: probably not good. Yeah, quarterback and he out right now too.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Yeah you know, but I just ecuse me. Baker Mayfield
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: just played last week. I didn't play. I don't think
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: he played last week. He got a tord labor and
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: lay a minute. Excuse me, guys, guys, we're here, guys,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: he he didn't. Are you from Cleveland? Damn? Excuse me? Guys?
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Didn't he play? I watch I didn't watch your game
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: last week. Excuse me. Baker Mayfield had a shoulder injury.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: He came back. Okay, he's fine. You're confusing. What about
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: your team? With our team, y'all don't have a quarterback? Okay,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: well what about Odell Beckham leaving the Browns? Are you
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: upset about this? Because not really, because he wasn't a
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: contributing factor to the offense. Okay, you ain't upset about? Well, well,
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: I hope you come back. I think they underutilized him greatly, greatly.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: But I can't believe y'all discussing quarterbacks. All right, Look,
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: I'm not why we gotta go coming up next to
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Sierra's story that will warm your heart for the latees
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to show Well. Singer Sierra
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: admitted she thought she would be single for four years
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: after her turbulent breakup with her son's father future That
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: was back in twenty fourteen, But in July of two
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: thousand and sixteen, Sierra married Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: who recently became the highest paid NFL player now. This
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: led millions of single ladies to ask Sierra just what
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: she prayed for, specifically to find true love with Russell.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Sierra reveals the prayer on Summer Walker's upcoming album, and
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: the single is named Sierra's Prayer. The prayer is long,
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: but in it, Sierra is clearly hurt and praying that
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: the next man she dates will be her husband. She wrote,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: and I'll paraphrase it, but and you'll get the message. Jesus,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: I need you. I'm hurting, but there's purpose in my pain.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: I need you to restore my face and love give
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: me strength. I know I can't do it all on
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: my own. I'm tired. Cover and protect us. Lord. I
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: pray the next man of my life will be my husband.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I pray he loves me, leads me, guides me, reassures me.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I pray that he holds me. I pray that I
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: have everything I want and need in him. I pray
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: he will love me the way that you love me. Lord,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: I'm ready in Jesus name, Amen, Amen, sir prayer. Yes,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: And a lot of women want to know, well, girl,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: how did you get them? What did you do? What
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: was this prayer specifically? And so she laid it out
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: and you'll hear it on a summer Walkers like a
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: said upcoming album the Lord. Yes, sir, pray does work.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Try to live without it. That's proof that it works. Yeah,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: you have to believe that it works for you. See,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: you can't just go see when Sierra released this, it
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: wasn't just for you to find out what she did.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: It's for you to see what can happen. But you
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: now have to believe that it can happen for you. See, now,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: you're not cr Now you're not gonna get the highest
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: paid quarterback in the league. You're not he. She already
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: has him. So you're not gonna get that one. But
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: you can get a good man and a good man.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Don't have to make a million dollars right. Matter of fact,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: when she married Russell, Russell became better. He became a
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: better player, a better man, a better quarterback, or better father.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: He became a lot of stuff he is today because
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: a lot of women, I would suggest that you married potential.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: But some women have a tendency to look past potential
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: and look for funk for the end product. The end
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: product ain't always look man, you thirty, What the end
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: product you got at thirty? Ain't? Man. I don't know
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: a lot of men finished and done at thirty. I
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: just don't. I don't know a lot of thirty old
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: men who have arrived. I just don't. So I would
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: suggestion would be to look for the potential in man
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: and men. Somebody that you can put together with your skill, says,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: and you all can develop something together. But you know what,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: instead of fixing your uncle, here we go on Steve
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: time care. Instead of fixing your hair, your lashes, your nails,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: and your butt, which is all attractive bait, what you
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: need to do is fixed you, the person on the
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: inside of it. Because as stupid as you think us
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: men are, we still are looking for someone like a dude.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: I heard him on the internet the other day talking
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: about you. Very rarely see a man say I want
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: a woman to love me. Men really want a woman
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: that's going to respect them. We're looking for a woman
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: who will respect us, our hustle, our grind, our way,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: our wishes, our will. We equate that very seriously to love.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: But now I'm not saying those flashy outward things are
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: not important, because that's bait. But after we eat the bait,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: what is it? All right? All right, we'll be back
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: with more minutes after ye you're listening show. Well, several
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: talk show hosts are angling to become the queen of
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: daytime Talkum. Since Ellen departs the show in the spring,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: you can add Jennifer Hudson to that list. She could
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: follow in the footsteps Kelly Clarkson, who's also an American
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Idol alum. Jay hud shot a test show on the
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Ellen stage with the help of Ellen's producers. The pilot
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: program is being shopped around in Hollywood. Warner Brothers would
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: syndicate the still unnamed show, so there you go. The
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: studio interviewed about thirty people as potential replacements for the
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Ellen Show. Insiders said that Jennifer Hudson became the obvious
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: choice her show might take Kelly Clarkson's time slot when
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: she shifts into Ellen's hour. When Kelly shifts to Ellen's
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: time slot. So there you go, oh, Jennifer, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: I can see that Clarkson show. Yeah, it's okay. No,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: damn Niel, Junior, it's okay, it's okay. You're doing real good.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: We're doing we are doing But we had we was there,
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: we was already there. I wish I wish I was junior.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: We're doing better, We're doing better. Okay, we're doing better.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: I remember up to everybody come into studio. He talked
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: to it. I didn't like the day I'm talking. I
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: really didn't. That's on the way I ain't care for.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Had to pack up and move across country again. Hell no, Kenny,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: all right, we'll have more of the stave Ardi morning
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: coming up. We'll do a round of would you rather?
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Right after this a thirty three minutes Christian? I ain't
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: that type of Christian. You're listening show? All right, it's
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: time for a round of would you rather? Guys? Would
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: you rather drink nothing but prune juice? For five days,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: B or wed you'd rather drink nothing but black coffee
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: for thirty days, B B B nothing but black coffee
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: for thirty days. Wait a minute, you mean you mean
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: that's the only thing you can have. Yes, yes, drink
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: nothing but prune juice. Prune juice for five days, or
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: drink nothing but a minute. You can't have no food,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: just drink. That law you can do is drink. Come
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: on over here and be regular with me, brum you
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: godd no, you're not finn to be regular. You not
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: fit to be regular with nothing. But that's an ugly
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: You can't eat nothing, just drink, just drink. Well, coffee
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: has no nutritional value to it, So then you take
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: prune that pruned juice though you're so clean. Yeah, but
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: I'm might have a quick work and I'm gonna take
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: a week off. I got to call in sick because
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: he's gonna be you're gonna be whistling, though, dog, I'm
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: gonna be. I'm gonna be walking around with a beech
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: tie on it. If you got to drink theself colon,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna be almost all right. You wanted something to eat?
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Here we go? Would you rather eat two whole pumpkin
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: pies or eat two whole turkeys. That's easy. Two whole
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: pumpkin pies. Pumpkin not sweet potato pumpkin that ain't know
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: who that ain't. I'm on them turkeys though, two whole turkeys,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: some big old legs. Oh wait, are you talking about?
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Are you talking about in a certain time frame? I
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: got condition, I mean about eating. Can't sit down and
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: eat two of them pies. You can't do either one.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: So are you saying you gotta start eating till you finish? Yeah?
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: With the two pumpkin pies or two turkeys? Yeah, okay,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna take the two. I'm gonna take the two
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: punkin pods because I can finish that in the day.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Can I eat the other one? Them all? And then
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: I get back on track? Then turkeys down. That's a
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: lot of food that's closed. Okay, turkey. I can't stand
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: about what it's all. I can't really, I don't really
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: don't like it. The pot it ain't trifling. No I
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: know who to get to make it. Listen to this.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Don't get the punkin pie dnist that they have for all.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: I don't know who made that, but do not get
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: the punkin pie dunnist that come with the Thanksgiving dinner.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: I ate it in ninety two. I was home and
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: I had it. I ain't had it since. It's stuck.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Quick men, the PA for the dollars ninety nine Thanksgivings
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: found big flat. I had it. I'm a care about sir.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: Coming up our last break of the day, and we'll
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: have some closing remarks from the one and only Steve
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Harvey right after this. You're listening to show all right, guys,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: this Monday. It's been a good day. Um Our prayer
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: is still going out to everyone in Houston, and the
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: investigation continues, and we'll keep you posted for sure. Yes,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: victims families, Yes, so is deal. Guys. My closing remarks
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: are in light of encouragement, you know. I just I
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: can't tell you all how important it is to never
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: give up. I can't tell you how important it is
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: to put forth a max's effort, the importance of starting,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: oh for not being uhcrastinator. It's just so important that
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: you give it. You're all every day you wake up.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying to get people to understand to
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: give it. You're all every day you wake up waking
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: up as a gift. You can do something with that gift.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: You can take every day to move closer to a goal, ambition,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: or a dream. You can take every day to better yourself.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: You can use the time and each day to better
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: your situation instead of taking a negative approach or I
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: don't know what's gonna happen. I want you got to
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: do something. You know, people talk about a lot of
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: losses I've had in my life and career. You know people,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: you know, trolls is out there. I can't all he
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: got this counsel, all this happened to him. I can't
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: believe he gave that crown to the wrong one. He
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: said this. I can't believe he went up there and
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: saw also and so he do this. He do that.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: I've heard that my entire career, and I have learned.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: The older I get, I've learned some things. And you
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: know what I've learned, y'all. I would rather fight and
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: lose that to just give up. I would rather try
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: and fail at something than to quit. I would rather
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: lose and not win than to never have played the game.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: And I don't. And for all the haters out there,
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: I don't care. You're not even in the arena. You're
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: not even actually involved. You are bystander, And you know
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: what that simply breaks down to. You're standing by and
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: ain't neither one of them productive? You standing, you ain't moving?
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: You buy that mean you're on the sideline. I would
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: rather fight and lose than to quit. I would rather
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: try and fail than to give up. I would rather
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: lose and not win than to never have played the game.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Do you understand something, man? You waking up every day
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: putting forth from maximum effort. That is a benefit to
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: being in your maximum effort zone. Do you know when
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: you wake up and you put forth a maximum effort
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: that it produces growth. When you put forth from maxif effort,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: it produces experience, And when you put forth from maxif effort,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: it produces results. Yeah, but you fail though, Oh that's true.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: But guess what happened while I was failing. I was growing,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: I was gaining experience. I was seeing some results. So
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: now when I go and I fight again, I'll get
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: closer to the win. If I try again, I'll get
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: closer to the success. I'm always trying to win even
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: when it looked like I'm losing. Losing is a part
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: of it. Man, Name me one person that's successful that
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: has not lost. You know how many people won championships
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: that came off the heels of a severe injury? Do
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: you know people who win comeback Player of the year.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: You're the only way you can win comeback player of
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: the years, and you make or comeback people. I can't
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: believe they gave him Comeback Player of the year. You
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: haven't played or came back. He did both. That's how
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: he got Comeback Player of the Year. Oh, here he goes.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: You're gonna try something else. I guess we'll see how
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: long that would last. Your dog gonna right, I'm gonna
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: try something else because if you don't try nothing else,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: you can't get no benefit from it. You can't get
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: nothing unless you put forth the effort. You can't get results,
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: you can't get growth, and you can't gain no experience,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: and there is no chance of you winning. I'm gonna
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: take a chance to see if I can win. I
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: promise you that. Make them watch you see listen to me, y'all.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: You know the reason they're talking about y'all is because
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: you keep doing something. If you don't want anybody talk
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: about you, go sit down somewhere and be nothing. You're
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: nothing to write about. They no hater's got nothing to
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: talk about. The headlines ain't got nothing to talk about.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: The blogs ain't got nothing to talk about. The news
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: channels ain't got nothing to talk about. Go over there
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: and sit down and be nothing. But man, I make
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: them watch me. I make them have to see what
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: God can do for me. I'm a living witness that
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: God can do anything. I'm a living witness that when
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: one door closes, all you gotta do is walk up
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: the hall. But you can't walk up the hall unless
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: you make the effort to go up the hall. A
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: lot of people ain't even in the hall. They just
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: sat down and look down that time of this dog
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: down there, which one of them doors is mine? Why
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: don't you go down there? See they are always going
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: through doors getting something. You ain't even in the hall.
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: Start walking up the hall. Man put forth in there
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: for y'all, and don't be discouraged when you don't win.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: Because I'd rather fight and lose than to give up.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: I'd rather fail and try to quit, And I'd rather
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: lose and not win, that they have never played the game,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: that I give you something to write about. Just watch me.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks. Enjoy yourself today. God loves you,
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: God will and we'll see y'all the mall holla at you.
