- 2:03Speaker 1: a good morning everybody. Y'all listening to the voice, come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now wanted only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show. Okay, here we go. I was working out.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I was talking to a buddy of mine, and I
- 2:21Speaker 1: was telling him something that Bishop td Jake's told me
- 2:24Speaker 1: one time. I heard him say it. He said, I
- 2:29Speaker 1: would hate to die and not do the thing that
- 2:35Speaker 1: I was born to do. I would hate to die
- 2:40Speaker 1: and not do the theme that I was born to do. Man,
- 2:47Speaker 1: oh man, oh man, man. That hit me like a
- 2:50Speaker 1: like a like a pile of bricks man, because it
- 2:53Speaker 1: made me feel so grateful that God has allowed me
- 3:01Speaker 1: to live my life this way now. And I'm talking
- 3:06Speaker 1: about grateful for all of it, the good, the bad,
- 3:09Speaker 1: and the ugly, and I have had all of them.
- 3:15Speaker 1: The person you see today, it ain't always who I was.
- 3:19Speaker 1: It was on the inside of me, but it hadn't
- 3:22Speaker 1: externalized itself, if that's a word. It hadn't been brought out.
- 3:27Speaker 1: It was in hell, but it was under development. Who
- 3:31Speaker 1: I am today was a process. But like I said before,
- 3:37Speaker 1: don't trip Hem through with me yet. Even today, I'm
- 3:43Speaker 1: still an imperfect soldier for Christ. Today I still fall
- 3:49Speaker 1: short oftentimes, but I'll tell you what, I'm ever grateful
- 3:56Speaker 1: for the life I have. And you know what, I
- 3:59Speaker 1: want to courage everybody today to explore your possibilities. I mean, man,
- 4:08Speaker 1: explore your possibilities. Why would you not want to find out, discover,
- 4:18Speaker 1: or know what it is God got for you? Why
- 4:24Speaker 1: would you not want to achieve or accomplish all of
- 4:28Speaker 1: your possibilities? Now, as I ask you this question, I
- 4:33Speaker 1: want you to know that the devil is busy, that
- 4:36Speaker 1: he plays mind tricks. So as you hear this, I
- 4:39Speaker 1: already know he's saying to some of y'all, Yeah, Steve,
- 4:42Speaker 1: that's easy for you to say, but I didn't get
- 4:45Speaker 1: myself in this situation right here. Ain't nothing too hard
- 4:48Speaker 1: for God? Nothing nothing. And see, so as you listen
- 4:55Speaker 1: to me to try to get your mind open to this.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Why would you not want to explore all of your
- 5:04Speaker 1: life's possibilities, what's possible with your life? And I'm talking
- 5:08Speaker 1: about from right where you are right now. I'm not
- 5:12Speaker 1: asking you to change, I'm not asking you to do anything.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I'm telling you this is a fact that God can
- 5:19Speaker 1: get you from right where you are right now. Broken, misled, misguided, misunderstood, mistaken,
- 5:35Speaker 1: all of that, misfortunate, all of the missus you've been
- 5:39Speaker 1: talking about in your life. You know you. I missed
- 5:43Speaker 1: the lottery, I missed my ride. They fined men, I
- 5:47Speaker 1: missed the deadline. I didn't get it, miss pop. People
- 5:52Speaker 1: just miss stay self to death. If you've been all
- 5:56Speaker 1: in missus, God can get you from right where you are.
- 6:00Speaker 1: God a home run hitter. I'm here to tell you
- 6:02Speaker 1: that he's a home run hitter. He's a put him
- 6:05Speaker 1: over the wall whenever he wants to, all the time.
- 6:08Speaker 1: And you can be a recipient of some of these
- 6:10Speaker 1: home runs. He'll put the bat in your hand. But
- 6:13Speaker 1: you got to swain now, listen to me. You got
- 6:16Speaker 1: to stop feeling sorry for yourself. You got to stop
- 6:19Speaker 1: holding yourself down with beating yourself up. He won't hold
- 6:23Speaker 1: you down about it if you don't hold yourself down
- 6:25Speaker 1: about it. But I'm gonna tell you one more time.
- 6:27Speaker 1: The devil is busy. So what the devil do is
- 6:30Speaker 1: He makes you think you ain't worthy. He makes you
- 6:33Speaker 1: think that you've done something so despicable that you can't
- 6:36Speaker 1: come back from it. He makes you feel like you're
- 6:39Speaker 1: so low you can't go up high. He knocked you down,
- 6:41Speaker 1: and make you feel like you've been knocked down harder
- 6:43Speaker 1: than anybody else. You can't get up. He rolled you
- 6:46Speaker 1: so deep down in that ditch you can't see over
- 6:48Speaker 1: the edge. God can come get you from no matter
- 6:52Speaker 1: where you are. I'm telling you, man, you ain't in
- 6:56Speaker 1: no hole too deep for God. Magic Johnson tell you that.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Listen to me, you ain't in no hole too deep
- 7:03Speaker 1: for God. Steve Harvey can tell you that you ain't
- 7:06Speaker 1: in a hole too deep for God. Tyler Perry can
- 7:10Speaker 1: tell you that. I can name you some people. Bishop
- 7:13Speaker 1: Jake can tell you that. I could tell you. Kenneth
- 7:15Speaker 1: Alma can tell you that. Bishop Kenneth Olman I could
- 7:18Speaker 1: tell you some people. Kirk Franklin can tell you that.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Donnie mcclarkton can tell you that. I just know some
- 7:23Speaker 1: people personally man that then't been in a hole. Joel
- 7:26Speaker 1: Oldstein can tell your body, I know some people man
- 7:30Speaker 1: been down, been in a hole so deep, I bet you.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Paula Deane can tell you about it. See. But but
- 7:38Speaker 1: you know what, then here we go, see we see
- 7:40Speaker 1: see you know, see we don't. We don't like to
- 7:44Speaker 1: talk about that because now we want everybody to pay
- 7:46Speaker 1: extra hard for some mistakes they made when clearly and
- 7:50Speaker 1: excuse me for being a new Christian, but there is
- 7:53Speaker 1: a pred that I've been saying since I was a
- 7:55Speaker 1: little bitty boy, and it took me till I was
- 7:57Speaker 1: a grown man to understand it. Forgive us our trust
- 8:00Speaker 1: passes as we forgive those who trust passed against us.
- 8:04Speaker 1: So see, it ain't my job to hold nobody down,
- 8:07Speaker 1: to keep my knee on somebody's neck. Who am I.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna need some forgiveness in a second here, probably today.
- 8:15Speaker 1: See so all this, you're holding people down with the
- 8:18Speaker 1: way you feel inbot then she shouldn't have said this
- 8:21Speaker 1: and she will never get it. I never support this again. Man,
- 8:24Speaker 1: get up, get up and get real. You're for real?
- 8:27Speaker 1: You think you ain't fit the need forgiveness real soon
- 8:29Speaker 1: you ain't going to make a diabolical mistake in your life.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You don't think you are. I have thousands of them,
- 8:35Speaker 1: probably gonna make a few hundred more for I get
- 8:37Speaker 1: up out of here. So I've decided to be in
- 8:40Speaker 1: a forgiving business because I want God to forgive my
- 8:45Speaker 1: trust passes as I forgive those who trust passed against me.
- 8:49Speaker 1: You understand. See excuse me for being a new Christian.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I get I get tired of talking to pistol, to
- 8:56Speaker 1: people man supposed to be saved and talking about dead Christian.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I don't want that type religion. Man. I ain't in that, Nomal.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I ain't in that. You can call me wrong if
- 9:03Speaker 1: you want to saying how you want to say. I
- 9:05Speaker 1: ain't in that, No, Moal, I ain't in all that.
- 9:07Speaker 1: You can feel how you want to feel about me.
- 9:09Speaker 1: But I got proof that God work in my life.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You know, I can't hardly get it out Sometime when
- 9:14Speaker 1: people ask me something about deeper on the inside of me,
- 9:17Speaker 1: about my soul and how I used to being, and
- 9:19Speaker 1: my journey and my trip. Because people don't know the
- 9:21Speaker 1: trip I've been on. You may have been on one
- 9:23Speaker 1: worse than me. But you know what, you ain't in
- 9:25Speaker 1: a hole too deep. God can't get you out of Man.
- 9:29Speaker 1: I wish, I want. I want people to remember that man,
- 9:31Speaker 1: God is a redeemer, He the great I am. So
- 9:35Speaker 1: if you ain't got nothing, now what you asking fault?
- 9:39Speaker 1: You know you might not have nothing because you ain't
- 9:41Speaker 1: asking for nothing. Could asking God to get you out
- 9:43Speaker 1: of debt and ask God for a life of abundance.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Then you take the money and you get out of debt.
- 9:48Speaker 1: You keep asking to get out of debt. You keep
- 9:50Speaker 1: being in debt to get out of Come on, man,
- 9:52Speaker 1: what you're asking God fault? I'm just tripping to day,
- 9:55Speaker 1: That's all. I'm sorry. I apologize. You're listening people, show
- 10:02Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Let me have your undivided attention, just
- 10:06Speaker 1: for a brief moment. There's something that's about to cur
- 10:11Speaker 1: excuse me, not cur but ok her or ocur all
- 10:17Speaker 1: go down, all pop off, all be about it, whichever
- 10:24Speaker 1: you choose to assimilate into your line of thinking. But
- 10:29Speaker 1: it's about to go down off up in him. I'm
- 10:34Speaker 1: about to lose my mind up in hill, up in hill.
- 10:40Speaker 1: I want to thank the late great DMX for that.
- 10:44Speaker 1: That's all I know. So let's just get it started
- 10:47Speaker 1: for I messed that up. Shirley Strawberry. Hey, good morning, Steve.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Let's lose our minds today. Yeah. You don't really mean that, Shirley, No,
- 10:57Speaker 1: I really do today, Steve. Today is my birthday. I
- 11:00Speaker 1: mean it, Shirley to birthday, I mean it. Okay, Shirley,

- 11:18Speaker 1: we go back like Cadillac's seats. Yea, all the way
- 11:22Speaker 1: from the year two thousand, twenty one years of radio
- 11:26Speaker 1: twenty one years. Wow, that's longer than you and John London,
- 11:31Speaker 1: wasn't it? How longer than me and Doug Banks? Anyone?
- 11:35Speaker 1: A great Doug Banks. Yeah, you know why that is,
- 11:39Speaker 1: don't you. Shirley? Why is that? Steve? Please let me know,
- 11:42Speaker 1: because you rolled it with the big dog, the Paolis
- 11:47Speaker 1: messing around, you know the truth, calin for rel Happy
- 11:53Speaker 1: birthday to my girl, Shirley Strawberries, rapday girl, kind of dog.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Happy Birthday, thank you ladies and gentlemen. Nephew told me
- 12:08Speaker 1: top Top, happy birthday. Sure, how oh no matter, see
- 12:14Speaker 1: I already hear it in his voice. I knew it.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I knew he was gonna I knew it. When when
- 12:19Speaker 1: is it okay? When is it not appropriate to ask
- 12:22Speaker 1: a lady that? Never on time you want to do?
- 12:26Speaker 1: When does it stop? I mean like is it a
- 12:28Speaker 1: certain age? I mean, how do I never tried? Now?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Oh he tried its effort dough. Yeah, is this it's
- 12:37Speaker 1: my birthday today? It's a good one. Today is the
- 12:41Speaker 1: best day of my life. All of that, the beginning
- 12:45Speaker 1: of the rest of my life, all of that, Amen, sister, Yes,
- 12:49Speaker 1: celebrated the Lord. Amen. Now what year was it was? It?
- 12:54Speaker 1: Was it? Like my mama used to say, you ain't
- 13:00Speaker 1: all the wasted? Yeah. I think he would try to
- 13:05Speaker 1: pick like monumental did you see Marta Luther King funeral? Right?
- 13:11Speaker 1: And if I say yes, and you figure it out,
- 13:13Speaker 1: or if I say no, you figure it out? Yeah?
- 13:15Speaker 1: Oh is that the string? But I'm too I'm way
- 13:19Speaker 1: too clever for that one. Carla. Yeah, last summer, thank you, Carlatcha.
- 13:30Speaker 1: All right, we're moving on, coming up at thirty two
- 13:34Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, it is asked the CLO Chief
- 13:37Speaker 1: Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building. Right after this,
- 13:41Speaker 1: it's my birthday. You're listening to the morning show. Time
- 13:47Speaker 1: now for asked the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey
- 13:51Speaker 1: in the building, Steve get Ready. This one is from
- 13:54Speaker 1: CD in Chicago, my hometown. Uh CD writes, I'm a
- 13:58Speaker 1: thirty nine year old married woman and I had an
- 14:01Speaker 1: outside child during our third year of marriage. My husband
- 14:05Speaker 1: was a cheater. He cheated on me before and after
- 14:08Speaker 1: we got married, and I tried to play the same game,
- 14:11Speaker 1: but I was careless. I had a son, and I
- 14:14Speaker 1: have fallen in love with the father of my child.
- 14:17Speaker 1: My husband begged me not to leave because he's a
- 14:20Speaker 1: pastor and everyone thinks we're such a perfect couple. I'm
- 14:24Speaker 1: tired of living this lie. Would I'd be crazy to
- 14:27Speaker 1: leave my husband in hopes of a fresh start with
- 14:29Speaker 1: the other guy. Well, it's one simple question. You need
- 14:33Speaker 1: to know. Does the other guy want to have a
- 14:36Speaker 1: fresh start with you? See fact? And how does he?
- 14:40Speaker 1: How old is the son? Well it doesn't say, but
- 14:43Speaker 1: she had a child under third year of marriage. That's
- 14:47Speaker 1: the only question you need to know is does this
- 14:50Speaker 1: guy you had this a fan with, want to have
- 14:53Speaker 1: a new start with you. That's the problem. See you
- 14:58Speaker 1: you want a lot of stuff, but ain't gonna happen.
- 15:02Speaker 1: That's the dilemma you have. The only delemba you can.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I would suggest you go get a fresh start with
- 15:08Speaker 1: this new guy. If the new guy won't you, does
- 15:12Speaker 1: he know that's his name? That's the other question exactly
- 15:17Speaker 1: See have you told him that? Does the pastor know
- 15:22Speaker 1: that he raising another man's child? Oh? Hello, if you
- 15:29Speaker 1: want me to stay for that, I'm about to go.
- 15:43Speaker 1: All right, We're moving on. La Curtis and La Curtis
- 15:46Speaker 1: and Jacksonville says Curtis. You heard me. My wife and
- 15:51Speaker 1: I have an RV to visit all of our grandkids
- 15:54Speaker 1: in Georgia's that's an old name, love Curtis. Curtis. Yeah,
- 16:01Speaker 1: it's on our sideyard. It's in our sideyard and out
- 16:05Speaker 1: of the way. My cousin is having marital issues, so
- 16:08Speaker 1: he asked to stay in my RV one night after
- 16:10Speaker 1: his wife put him out. I let him stay one
- 16:12Speaker 1: night in it, and he left it a total mess.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I could tell he had a woman in it, and
- 16:18Speaker 1: it smelled like weed. I asked him to get it professionally,
- 16:21Speaker 1: professionally cleaned, but he said it was like that before
- 16:25Speaker 1: he got in there. I can't have my wife in
- 16:27Speaker 1: there after some bimbo has stayed there. How do I
- 16:30Speaker 1: handle this clo Well, I mean, first of all, you
- 16:34Speaker 1: got to get it clean because you let your cousin
- 16:37Speaker 1: stay in there. Your cousin trifling. He ain't gonna clean it, so,
- 16:42Speaker 1: you know, which is the reason why he getting put
- 16:45Speaker 1: out his own house anyway. And he come right over
- 16:48Speaker 1: there and have another woman in there. So now you
- 16:52Speaker 1: got to clean it. And I guess you told your
- 16:56Speaker 1: wife somehow that there was a woman in here, or
- 16:58Speaker 1: your wife went out there and discovered it. But you
- 17:00Speaker 1: got to get the thing professionally clean. Need some new bes,
- 17:03Speaker 1: friends and all that. Yeah, new benny, Yeah you know, yeah,
- 17:09Speaker 1: you gotta get some new bed and dog did that
- 17:12Speaker 1: to yourself? Yeah yeah, you did. You knew your cousin
- 17:17Speaker 1: was trif and the curtis you you know better name,
- 17:22Speaker 1: don't you called called love Henderson ain't never been worth
- 17:27Speaker 1: for damn cousin's name him? All novel? All right, moving on,
- 17:38Speaker 1: here's another one you you might take a liking to
- 17:41Speaker 1: Steve Clo verse Shawn verse that's black. Wait a minute,
- 17:49Speaker 1: it gets better verse Shawn in Kentucky. Okay, all of
- 17:54Speaker 1: that is good. Um, I'm a thirty three year old
- 17:57Speaker 1: single woman and I'm attracted to a sixty seven year
- 18:01Speaker 1: old man. He's wealthy and powerful, and the best part
- 18:05Speaker 1: is he's divorced. I interact with him at work, when
- 18:09Speaker 1: he's at my office for corporate meetings. He doesn't know
- 18:11Speaker 1: that I'm crazy about him, and I'm not sure how
- 18:14Speaker 1: to approach him. I've heard a few men on social
- 18:17Speaker 1: media telling us women that we don't deserve high quality
- 18:20Speaker 1: men if we're not really bringing anything to the table.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Wonder who that could be? Is this true? Should I
- 18:27Speaker 1: shoot my shot or not? Clo? I mean going and
- 18:31Speaker 1: shoot your shot. But he's sixty seven and wealthy. You
- 18:36Speaker 1: thirty three. You don't think he knows that you had
- 18:40Speaker 1: these feelings for him. Now are you attracted to him?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Are you attracted to the fact that he's wealthy? Okay,
- 18:48Speaker 1: vos and you're looking for a come up because when
- 18:51Speaker 1: he was just sixty seven in the dude driving the
- 18:53Speaker 1: towmode over there, I don't think you'd be that much
- 18:56Speaker 1: in love with him, even if he looked the exact
- 19:00Speaker 1: and he was a tomo to drive. I doubt very seriously, Vershan,
- 19:05Speaker 1: if you'd had the same feel as man in Kentucky.
- 19:14Speaker 1: All right, thirty four years older than you. So should
- 19:19Speaker 1: she shoot her shots? Tea, Yeah, gonna beat it. See
- 19:24Speaker 1: what you say, see what's see what he says, see
- 19:26Speaker 1: what happened? Yeah, yeah, you don't think he's seen this
- 19:29Speaker 1: movie before? The Yeah? Yeah, all right, he ain't just
- 19:37Speaker 1: get this money. Let's move on to Caprice. Caprice in
- 19:43Speaker 1: Saint Louis says, I'm a fifty one year old school
- 19:45Speaker 1: teacher and I teach dance at the school. I've always
- 19:48Speaker 1: had a great body, and I take pride in my
- 19:50Speaker 1: nice muscular legs. When we have dance practice, most of
- 19:53Speaker 1: the male teachers are in the gym or lurking around
- 19:57Speaker 1: the gym when I'm in my dance attire. The white
- 20:00Speaker 1: female principle has called me in several times, saying I'm
- 20:03Speaker 1: a distraction and I need to wear jogging pants instead
- 20:06Speaker 1: of shorts. Is she out of line for insinuating that
- 20:09Speaker 1: the way I dress is a distraction? Should I cover
- 20:12Speaker 1: up more at practice. No, I don't think that she's
- 20:16Speaker 1: a distraction. I think the men are out of line.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Dance dance Attie is appropriate. Yeah, and why you got
- 20:24Speaker 1: to cover up because these dudes in here can't pull
- 20:27Speaker 1: theirself together, so you you're inappropriate or they have lack
- 20:31Speaker 1: of control and discipline and unprofessionalism. And she's wrong for
- 20:36Speaker 1: requiring that of you because dancers wear dance outfits. Yeah,
- 20:40Speaker 1: she is, so they can't go, So they can't go
- 20:43Speaker 1: to the little kids practice either. Then huh, all right, cello,
- 20:47Speaker 1: thank you, We gotta go there the crazy man, the
- 20:53Speaker 1: nephew run that prank back right after that. You're listening
- 21:00Speaker 1: Dave Harvey Morning Show. All right, coming up at the
- 21:03Speaker 1: top of the hour, Miss Anna will be here with
- 21:04Speaker 1: our national news and we will talk about the new
- 21:07Speaker 1: CDC mask mandate. That's right, I said CDC mask mandate.
- 21:12Speaker 1: But right now we're gonna switch gears and the nephew
- 21:16Speaker 1: is here. We'll run that prank back. What you got
- 21:18Speaker 1: for is nef you didn't fall, and you ain't getting
- 21:21Speaker 1: no money. Okay, you didn't fall, I didn't fall. You
- 21:27Speaker 1: ain't getting no money to stop. He's a claims adjuster.
- 21:31Speaker 1: All this slipping and cano like you heard, stop, you're
- 21:35Speaker 1: not getting no money. Let's go cat though. Hello, I'm
- 21:40Speaker 1: trying to reach a Glenda and place. How you doing?
- 21:44Speaker 1: My name is Brad. I'm actually with the A and
- 21:47Speaker 1: C Department Accidents and Conditions. Wanted to give you a
- 21:50Speaker 1: call and see how you're doing this morning. I'm getting
- 21:53Speaker 1: star great great Now. I am the the Accident and
- 21:58Speaker 1: condition coordinated, the last person that it goes through before
- 22:00Speaker 1: actually issuing out of check, and just wanted to give
- 22:03Speaker 1: you a call and see how everything is going going.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Have you Have you been to the doctor on your
- 22:08Speaker 1: fall and just just wanted to do a follow up
- 22:11Speaker 1: with you and make sure everything is okay? Yeah, Have
- 22:15Speaker 1: you needed to do any any rehabilitation work or anything
- 22:18Speaker 1: like that. This is just a random procedure of all
- 22:21Speaker 1: the notes that I have to write down, and like
- 22:23Speaker 1: I said, this is the final step of getting you
- 22:25Speaker 1: out of check. Now, the last heard you were offered
- 22:29Speaker 1: two thousand dollars? Is that correct? If you were there,
- 22:32Speaker 1: you go ahead to supervisor. You would knew how that
- 22:35Speaker 1: if you worked there. Okay, Well, I'm just looking at
- 22:38Speaker 1: the file that I have, Man, I don't have everything.
- 22:40Speaker 1: You got that rope down, that's what they offer. Okay,
- 22:44Speaker 1: well listen, here's what we're doing. Um. I've also been
- 22:47Speaker 1: brought some other records. Is this the first time you've
- 22:50Speaker 1: actually had an incident like this? What is this the
- 22:54Speaker 1: first time you've had an incident of actually falling? Yeah, yeah,
- 22:59Speaker 1: that's my first time. Okay, Well, actually, what we're doing,
- 23:03Speaker 1: uh looking over the records here, I've got some actual
- 23:07Speaker 1: incidents that it seems like you've actually fallen several times
- 23:10Speaker 1: in other places. And uh, what what I'm having to
- 23:15Speaker 1: do here, ma'am, is let you know that I am
- 23:18Speaker 1: not going to sign off on this at all. So
- 23:21Speaker 1: the money that has been offered to you, I am
- 23:23Speaker 1: no longer going to be Uh, I'm not going to
- 23:25Speaker 1: confirm this check to go out to you. I don't
- 23:28Speaker 1: think that there's anything wrong with you. I don't think
- 23:31Speaker 1: that you have a problem. I think that there's something
- 23:33Speaker 1: that you deliberately did in one of our stores. I
- 23:37Speaker 1: could care less about what you think what happened was
- 23:41Speaker 1: was on the floor. I fail. I'm gonna they don't
- 23:44Speaker 1: have to pay for the claim. No, we're not gonna Actually, ma'am,
- 23:48Speaker 1: what I'm gonna have to do is get you to
- 23:50Speaker 1: come down and sign an agreement. Yes, I'm gonna need
- 23:55Speaker 1: you to come down and sign an agreement that you
- 23:57Speaker 1: actually made this whole thing up and I need that
- 24:00Speaker 1: didn't I'm not coming nowhere. Look, man, I don't care
- 24:03Speaker 1: if you come down or I have to come down
- 24:05Speaker 1: and haul your tin, because I'm not signing over a
- 24:08Speaker 1: check to you for somebody that deliberately laid down in
- 24:11Speaker 1: the floor and act like something was wrong with them
- 24:13Speaker 1: A mine deliberately done it, how exactly it was. Witnesses,
- 24:19Speaker 1: you need to talk to them. I've spoken to every
- 24:22Speaker 1: witness and you know what, man, everyone witness because my
- 24:26Speaker 1: friend was there, you haven't spoken to her. There's a
- 24:29Speaker 1: lot of people that assume that you're lying. Well, I
- 24:32Speaker 1: don't kill what they are. Man, let me explain something.
- 24:35Speaker 1: We can take this thing further. I even have you
- 24:38Speaker 1: on video actually deliberately laying down in the middle of
- 24:41Speaker 1: the floor as if you have no No, I am
- 24:46Speaker 1: not man. We're not gonna give you two We're not
- 24:49Speaker 1: going to give you two dollars. What's your name? My
- 24:52Speaker 1: name is Brad with the ANC department. Well, you won't
- 24:55Speaker 1: be him. The job. Too much going on because you're
- 24:57Speaker 1: a fool. No, No, I'm not a fool. I want
- 25:00Speaker 1: want to make sure that you understand. I want to
- 25:01Speaker 1: make sure that you understand. You understand that this is
- 25:06Speaker 1: not something that you can do or continue to do. Now.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I want to hear it out of your mouth. You
- 25:10Speaker 1: tell me, did you lay down on that floor deliberately?
- 25:13Speaker 1: You play them? You think I'm being to set here
- 25:16Speaker 1: and tell you I deliberately laid down in a floor?
- 25:21Speaker 1: Am crazy? Am I crazy? For you will sitting here
- 25:22Speaker 1: and tell me the tale that it as all. No,
- 25:28Speaker 1: deliberately laid down on that floor, and you're deliberately trying
- 25:31Speaker 1: to get two thousand dollars worth the money that does
- 25:33Speaker 1: not belong to you. What you just reviewed the damn
- 25:36Speaker 1: tape and uh you will see what happened. Would you
- 25:39Speaker 1: like for me to get authorities to come over, man
- 25:41Speaker 1: and bring you in? Because what who you get? Get?
- 25:46Speaker 1: Whether you want to get if I need to send
- 25:48Speaker 1: authorities down there, you you sent them over. I'm not.
- 25:54Speaker 1: I'm not. They're gonna bring you in and you're gonna
- 25:57Speaker 1: sign this form I have that deliberately laid down on
- 25:59Speaker 1: that floor. You a fool the nerve of you black people.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I'm not coming in. I'm not signing nothing. And now
- 26:06Speaker 1: what Utah man, I don't know. I ain't ever heard this.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Utah man. Now, I want you to bring your little
- 26:14Speaker 1: narrow black behind in here so we can get this
- 26:16Speaker 1: stuff rectified. Is what I want done. Are you crazy
- 26:19Speaker 1: or dasa? You ain't the sharpest tool in the share
- 26:22Speaker 1: that tell you that I am not coming in. I
- 26:25Speaker 1: don't know what I have to come in. Fuck, I
- 26:28Speaker 1: want you to sign a form that you deliberately laid
- 26:30Speaker 1: down in this floor and it was all fictitiously, no
- 26:33Speaker 1: wonderful would I do something like that and then go
- 26:36Speaker 1: to jail. Why would you lay down in the floor
- 26:38Speaker 1: in the first place, and when you knew nothing. I
- 26:41Speaker 1: told you I didn't do that. Yes she did, Yes
- 26:43Speaker 1: she did. It's in front of you. I can look
- 26:45Speaker 1: you in your eyes and tell when you're lying. I'm
- 26:48Speaker 1: told you. I told you what. Hell it? That's all back? Hey,
- 26:53Speaker 1: can I say? Let me say one more Hello? Call
- 26:57Speaker 1: it right back. I don't want to continue to go
- 27:02Speaker 1: back and forth. Look, Look you're really pissed. Look I
- 27:06Speaker 1: told you what happened. I'm not going to keep on
- 27:08Speaker 1: telling you that I don't know why you keep calling me.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Let me speak to your damn supervis. Let me say well,
- 27:14Speaker 1: first of all, man, First of all, I am the supervis.
- 27:16Speaker 1: This is what I want. I think we can get
- 27:18Speaker 1: this car. Look what the I'm gonna come in time.
- 27:21Speaker 1: That's what I want you to if you come down
- 27:23Speaker 1: and sell it off together. You think I'm going to
- 27:25Speaker 1: come and stign some papers saying I laid on them
- 27:29Speaker 1: float It ain't. None of that true was on the floe.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I fail. That's it. That's out. Now what the are
- 27:36Speaker 1: you talking about? Have you been drinking? Have you been drinking?
- 27:39Speaker 1: Are you listen? You've been drinking. I want to rinking,
- 27:42Speaker 1: got to do it any time when I do my
- 27:44Speaker 1: own personal time is my bus drinking. Don't keep calling
- 27:50Speaker 1: me with that. Okay, I'm gonna say one more thing
- 27:54Speaker 1: that still hurt. And you're telling me like you ain't
- 27:56Speaker 1: gonna give me no money, You crazing a damn gonna
- 27:59Speaker 1: get some money. They should hate this blow. Then I'm
- 28:03Speaker 1: gonna be having tone of this drinking, Glenda. I'm gonna
- 28:08Speaker 1: say one more thing to you and then I'm gonna
- 28:10Speaker 1: let you go. What This is nephew timming from the

- 29:06Speaker 1: stupid right nearly. If you love my stupid blow your horn,
- 29:09Speaker 1: blow your horn. Thank you? All right, thank you, nephew.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:16Speaker 1: some entertainment and national news for you right after this.
- 29:20Speaker 1: You're listening to Morning show, all right, So all morning long,
- 29:26Speaker 1: we're going to be saying happy birthday to my girl,
- 29:29Speaker 1: your girl, my girl. Yes, nephew, all right, thank you, Carla,
- 29:40Speaker 1: thank you all. Thank come on, give it out. I
- 29:43Speaker 1: know you have something. I know you got something. Let
- 29:45Speaker 1: it go, Let it go. I'm good, I'm good. I
- 29:49Speaker 1: just don't know which one it is. But we'll figured
- 29:51Speaker 1: it out throughout the morning. We get to okay, you
- 29:53Speaker 1: can be doing the math and everything. All right, here
- 29:55Speaker 1: we go, do the math. All right, Thank you, Carla.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Time now for trending medical news. There is a new
- 30:02Speaker 1: mask mandate because yesterday the CDC recommended that fully vaccinated
- 30:07Speaker 1: people begin wearing masks indoors again in places with high
- 30:12Speaker 1: COVID transmission rates. The updated guidance comes ahead of the
- 30:16Speaker 1: fall season with the Delta variant that is expected to
- 30:19Speaker 1: cause another surge in new coronavirus cases. Experts say COVID
- 30:24Speaker 1: prevention strategies remain critical to protect people from the virus,
- 30:28Speaker 1: especially in areas of moderate to high community transmission levels.
- 30:32Speaker 1: President Biden will announce Thursday that federal that's tomorrow, that
- 30:37Speaker 1: federal employees get vaccinated. Okay. The President also said, the
- 30:41Speaker 1: biggest protection we have against the Delta variant is the vaccination. Meanwhile,
- 30:48Speaker 1: a restaurant in Huntington Beach, California, said they will only
- 30:52Speaker 1: serve unvaccinated customers and wow, really all right, we really
- 31:02Speaker 1: live in two America's now, the vaccinated and the unvaccinated. Okay,
- 31:06Speaker 1: which one are you? Yeah. I had a friend text
- 31:09Speaker 1: me today to tell me that he got his first
- 31:12Speaker 1: JOS of the vaccine today. He said, because of you,
- 31:16Speaker 1: surely because of you. And I'm like, thank you. I'm
- 31:18Speaker 1: glad you did it. I'm so glad you did it.
- 31:21Speaker 1: You know, good because I've been telling him, please go
- 31:23Speaker 1: get vaccinated, you know, go, it's gonna have you know,
- 31:28Speaker 1: get it. I saw an interview and people on the
- 31:31Speaker 1: news that that were actually in the hospital and and
- 31:33Speaker 1: you know, laying there with COVID saying they wish they
- 31:35Speaker 1: would have gotten that shot. They wish they would have
- 31:37Speaker 1: gotten it. He did that on CNN yesterday. I mean
- 31:39Speaker 1: there's a lot of people. Yeah, so glad I got
- 31:43Speaker 1: And you know, my, my, my, my good friend that
- 31:46Speaker 1: was in ICU he just got moved to a regular room.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Well that's good news. Scenes on the road recovery good ye,
- 31:54Speaker 1: thank you lord. So yeah, that's a good thing. And
- 31:56Speaker 1: Licy he's still in the hospital, but going to a
- 32:00Speaker 1: regular room, that's that's a good thing. I mean, it's
- 32:07Speaker 1: just we keep saying, it's some of this is unavoidable.
- 32:11Speaker 1: You guys, you just take the vaccination. And you know,
- 32:16Speaker 1: I was talking to somebody yesterday and they were saying,
- 32:17Speaker 1: you know, people research on social media. They look up
- 32:20Speaker 1: all the reasons as to why not to take the shot.
- 32:22Speaker 1: They're looking for things to match on how they feel.
- 32:26Speaker 1: And this was actually Dave our Engineering. He was saying,
- 32:28Speaker 1: why don't people just take that time and pick up
- 32:30Speaker 1: the phone, call your healthcare provider, call your doctor, get
- 32:33Speaker 1: some medical advice. Don't just believe misinformation you know that
- 32:38Speaker 1: you're seeing on social media. This could save your life. Yeah,
- 32:42Speaker 1: this is serious. Yeah, I mean it's not like we've
- 32:45Speaker 1: never been vaccinated before. Everyone who's been to school you
- 32:49Speaker 1: got you had to take vaccines. Yeah. We have so
- 32:55Speaker 1: much social media that has misinformation in it, and we're
- 33:02Speaker 1: falling into it, and we got to stop this foolishness. Man, listen, y'all,
- 33:07Speaker 1: we gotta get vaccinated. This thing is real out here. Yeah, yes,
- 33:12Speaker 1: this thing is real. Tell him step come on, Steve
- 33:15Speaker 1: haarby Nation please. Yeah, all right, Steve, let's move on
- 33:21Speaker 1: to the headlines. You know, hopefully, ladies and gentlemen. Miss
- 33:24Speaker 1: Anne Tripp thank you, And of course the first headline
- 33:27Speaker 1: is happy birthday to sweet Shirley Strawberry. Everybody, this is
- 33:30Speaker 1: a trip with the news well in Washington, not so sweet,
- 33:34Speaker 1: very very sad. On the first day of the testimony
- 33:36Speaker 1: before the House committee investigating the Capitol Hill riots, Metro
- 33:40Speaker 1: police gave emotional accounts of what happened to them that day.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Officer Michael Fannon, for one, talked about his injuries as
- 33:46Speaker 1: well as his utter disappointment with Republican lawmakers who say
- 33:50Speaker 1: that Trump supporters acted more like tourists than terrorists. I
- 33:53Speaker 1: had been beaten unconscious and remained so for more than
- 33:56Speaker 1: four minutes. At the hospital, doctors told me that I
- 33:59Speaker 1: had suffered a heart attack, and I was later diagnosed
- 34:02Speaker 1: with a concussion, a traumatic brain injury, and post traumatic
- 34:05Speaker 1: stress disorder. What makes the struggle harder and more painful
- 34:10Speaker 1: is to know so many of if the people I
- 34:12Speaker 1: put my life at risk to defend, are downplaying or
- 34:15Speaker 1: outright denying what happened. I feel like I went to
- 34:19Speaker 1: Hell and back to protect them, but too many are
- 34:22Speaker 1: now telling me that Hell doesn't exist, or that Hell
- 34:25Speaker 1: actually wasn't that bad. The indifference shown to my colleagues
- 34:30Speaker 1: is disgraceful well. One of the only two Republicans on
- 34:34Speaker 1: the committee, a Wisconsin Senator Liz Cheney. She points out
- 34:37Speaker 1: that she differs with the Democrats on policy. In fact,
- 34:40Speaker 1: her voting record is usually always write down the line
- 34:44Speaker 1: with the Republicans, But she says she agrees that probing
- 34:46Speaker 1: all things around the January sixth insurrection should be paramount.
- 34:50Speaker 1: If those responsible are not held accountable, and if Congress
- 34:54Speaker 1: does not act responsibly, this will remain a cancer on
- 34:57Speaker 1: our constitutional republic will face the threat of more violence
- 35:01Speaker 1: in the months to come, and another January sixth every
- 35:05Speaker 1: four years. Okay, as you just heard from Shirley and
- 35:08Speaker 1: the others, the nation's masking rules are changing again. Yes again.
- 35:13Speaker 1: The director that sentence with Disease Control is doctor Rochelle Wilinsky.
- 35:16Speaker 1: The CDC's updated recommendations come as a devastating wave of
- 35:21Speaker 1: COVID infections are seen in every state. Doctor Willinsky lays
- 35:24Speaker 1: it out. BDC recommends fully vaccinated people wear masks in
- 35:29Speaker 1: public indoor settings to help prevent the spread of the
- 35:32Speaker 1: delta variants and protect others. Vaccinating more Americans now is
- 35:37Speaker 1: more urgent than ever. The highest spread of cases and
- 35:41Speaker 1: severe outcomes is happening in places with low vaccination rates
- 35:45Speaker 1: and among unvaccinated people, and those states especially Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi,
- 35:51Speaker 1: and Florida. By the way, good news for all you munchies,
- 35:54Speaker 1: hundreds of FREEDO lay workers have ended there nearly three
- 35:57Speaker 1: week strike after ratifying a new contract. So munch on
- 36:00Speaker 1: now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 36:02Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, yesterday, Simone Biles withdrew
- 36:08Speaker 1: from Team USA gymnastic finals at the Olympics in Tokyo.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Simone told her teammates that she's dealing with some things
- 36:15Speaker 1: and she didn't want to hurt herself or the team.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Simone went on to say, to put your mental health first.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Take a listen, Please put mental health first, because if
- 36:26Speaker 1: you don't, then you're not going to enjoy your sport
- 36:28Speaker 1: and you're not going to succeed as much as you
- 36:30Speaker 1: want too. So it's okay sometimes to even sit out
- 36:32Speaker 1: the big competitions to focus on yourself because it shows
- 36:36Speaker 1: how strong of a competitor in person that you really are,
- 36:39Speaker 1: rather than just battle through it. I respected that, and
- 36:43Speaker 1: they went on to win the silver, and then that's
- 36:46Speaker 1: big and we got to congratulate the team. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 36:50Speaker 1: they won a silver or the team won silver. Yes, yep,
- 36:54Speaker 1: they did win the silver yesterday. Yes, without her, yes,
- 36:58Speaker 1: but she was right there to them as they were
- 37:00Speaker 1: doing it, helping them and supporting them. I mean, what
- 37:03Speaker 1: a good sport and team player she is, you know, right, well,
- 37:08Speaker 1: you know what seems she encouraged them. She told them
- 37:10Speaker 1: they had trained their entire lives for this moment. She
- 37:13Speaker 1: had been to the Olympics, but she just had some
- 37:16Speaker 1: she was second guessing herself and warm up since she
- 37:19Speaker 1: just wasn't in the right headspace and she didn't want
- 37:21Speaker 1: her continue. Yeah, and she decided to pull herself from
- 37:25Speaker 1: it and told them, you know, she wasn't that she
- 37:29Speaker 1: was making mistakes I had never seen her make in
- 37:32Speaker 1: the early going, you know, stepping completely off the match
- 37:36Speaker 1: three times. You would said that, yeah, mind, yeah, I
- 37:43Speaker 1: think you know it was a lot of that posing
- 37:45Speaker 1: with the goat and making her feel like she was
- 37:48Speaker 1: unbeat a bullet pressure, a lot of pressure, huh, yeah
- 37:52Speaker 1: it is. And then she had a goat like symbol
- 37:56Speaker 1: on one of her uniforms on the shoulder of one
- 37:59Speaker 1: of her uniform I mean, you know they did that. Yeah,
- 38:03Speaker 1: they made us some slippers with the goat on it.
- 38:05Speaker 1: She wouldn't do that. But but the point of the
- 38:08Speaker 1: matter is she is the goat, the goat. Ever, that's right,
- 38:16Speaker 1: she could have stopped. Yeah, she still is the goat. Yeah,
- 38:20Speaker 1: no matter what she does, that's a good choice for choice. Yeah,
- 38:25Speaker 1: she did it for herself and for her team, you know,
- 38:28Speaker 1: because if she stayed in there, they might not have
- 38:29Speaker 1: gotten that silver dough. But but but anybody that's got
- 38:32Speaker 1: a problem with that, something wrong with you? Yeah, and yeah,
- 38:37Speaker 1: and good damn Olympics. Ain't nobody getting paid on this?
- 38:47Speaker 1: Always keeping it one hundred all right? Coming up at
- 38:55Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll have more on
- 38:57Speaker 1: this Wellness Wednesday as we discuss taking off her self care.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show well guys, Today's
- 39:08Speaker 1: Wellness Wednesday, and we're talking about the goat, Simone Biles
- 39:11Speaker 1: and goat, in case you don't know, is greatest of
- 39:14Speaker 1: all times. Okay, it's an accurate greatest of all times. Yep,
- 39:20Speaker 1: Simone Biles. We're talking about mental health and self care.
- 39:24Speaker 1: So Steve. If you talk about hustling, grinding, working out,
- 39:27Speaker 1: working hard, but when do you know, I mean really
- 39:32Speaker 1: know in your spirit that it is time to take
- 39:36Speaker 1: a break. Time for Steve, some Steve time. Well, you know,
- 39:40Speaker 1: my temperament changes. You know, I get a little bit more,
- 39:45Speaker 1: you know, on edge, I'm not as I'm not as quick.
- 39:55Speaker 1: I start feeling like I'm having to do a lot
- 39:59Speaker 1: of stuff instead of getting to do a lot of stuff.
- 40:02Speaker 1: And once I start feeling that way a few days
- 40:06Speaker 1: out of the week, then I know, okay, man, you
- 40:09Speaker 1: need a break. You you you got to turn off this
- 40:12Speaker 1: motor man because you got it cranked up a little
- 40:14Speaker 1: bit much. And then your body tells you stuff too. Man,
- 40:18Speaker 1: if you're not sleeping, well you know because your mind
- 40:22Speaker 1: is not turning off. You know a lot of times
- 40:25Speaker 1: when you go to sleep and you wake up and
- 40:27Speaker 1: you still feel tired, it's because your mind didn't rest.
- 40:32Speaker 1: You know you had you know, you could be in
- 40:34Speaker 1: bed in your mind just be dreaming and going through
- 40:37Speaker 1: everything that you got to do them all right, you
- 40:41Speaker 1: don't cut it off, you don't shut down, right, no, man.
- 40:46Speaker 1: So so that's when you know that it is time
- 40:49Speaker 1: to take a break, time for some self care, time
- 40:52Speaker 1: to chill, time to you know, you know how you
- 40:55Speaker 1: do when you vacation and stuff like that. So yeah,
- 40:58Speaker 1: that's good advice. Yeah. And if you can't do that,
- 41:02Speaker 1: you know, go on a yacht like Steve care, you know,
- 41:07Speaker 1: and fly private jets and all of that. Your version
- 41:15Speaker 1: of it. Do do your version of it. But the
- 41:17Speaker 1: the important thing the message is to take time for you.
- 41:22Speaker 1: You you. I have a question for you guys, for everybody.
- 41:25Speaker 1: Do you all think that I think that social media
- 41:29Speaker 1: brings about a lot of stress for people. I think
- 41:31Speaker 1: that people are trying to live like the Joneses, or
- 41:36Speaker 1: or do what they see or what they think how
- 41:40Speaker 1: other people are living, and they're adding stress. Go ahead
- 41:44Speaker 1: and think we're too addicted to it. It's like we
- 41:46Speaker 1: gotta you gotta look at it every day. You gotta
- 41:48Speaker 1: go see what people are saying. Sometimes I have to
- 41:51Speaker 1: take a break from social media and say, all right,
- 41:53Speaker 1: I'm not looking at that this week. I don't want
- 41:55Speaker 1: to look at it. Sometimes you gotta take a break
- 41:57Speaker 1: from it because if not, you just get pulled in
- 42:00Speaker 1: every other second. You want to see what somebody saying.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Here's this response here's what they posted. Pull up on it. Yeah.
- 42:07Speaker 1: The other day when I saw Curtie Thee's posts, when
- 42:09Speaker 1: she posted all those broken bags, remember that in every
- 42:13Speaker 1: different color and fabric and all that, I was like, dang,
- 42:16Speaker 1: I don't even have one, so right, you know, But
- 42:23Speaker 1: that's what I mean. It's just feel in some kind
- 42:25Speaker 1: of way. Yeah, you know. Yeah, I think like Tommy
- 42:32Speaker 1: was saying. The social media thing though, I think people
- 42:35Speaker 1: put so much stock in it that they allow it
- 42:39Speaker 1: to dictate to them. And you have to understand what
- 42:42Speaker 1: social media is. Man. If you look at the number
- 42:45Speaker 1: of likes you get on a picture or the number
- 42:48Speaker 1: of views, it's really miniscule in the total scheme of
- 42:52Speaker 1: how many people are really in this world. And if
- 42:55Speaker 1: you look at those number of views and likes and
- 42:58Speaker 1: you broke down the demographic the demographics, you'd really keep
- 43:03Speaker 1: moving on because Halfton, people ain't old enough to tell
- 43:05Speaker 1: you a damn thing, right, That's true. Yes, and they
- 43:10Speaker 1: got a little grown up ass opinions with their little young,
- 43:13Speaker 1: stupid ass. But that's what drives millennials and Gen xers,
- 43:21Speaker 1: that's what drives them, you know. Uh, social media, we
- 43:25Speaker 1: didn't have that growing up. But that's that's what drives them.
- 43:28Speaker 1: They can't live without it. They're always on their phones,
- 43:32Speaker 1: you know. Adds to the pressure though, and it does
- 43:36Speaker 1: it all. Yeah, I really really do. And what about
- 43:39Speaker 1: your eyes? You know, just think about something like that,
- 43:42Speaker 1: your eyes watching that constantly, all the jests. You know,
- 43:46Speaker 1: you got you gotta step back from this stuff, you
- 43:49Speaker 1: really really do, all right? Yeah, self care, all right,
- 43:53Speaker 1: it's important. Coming up next, it is a nephew with
- 43:57Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening to
- 44:01Speaker 1: Dame Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of
- 44:05Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
- 44:08Speaker 1: letter for today. The subject my sister and my mister
- 44:13Speaker 1: mister system. You'll see. We'll get into it in just
- 44:16Speaker 1: a bit. Right now, the nephew you hear him, is
- 44:19Speaker 1: in the building with today's prank phone called nephew. What
- 44:22Speaker 1: is it today? Please? Yo? Barbequ ain't right? Okay you
- 44:28Speaker 1: bobequ ain't right. Let's go Hello Hello, trying to reach Gerald. Yeah,
- 44:33Speaker 1: it's Jerill who's calling? Man? Hey, Gerald? This this is
- 44:37Speaker 1: Calvin Man. You um you little a couple of blocks
- 44:39Speaker 1: over for me. Man, I've been, I've been. I just
- 44:41Speaker 1: want to reach out to you. One of the neighbor's
- 44:43Speaker 1: gaming your number, man, and uh, I just want to
- 44:45Speaker 1: tell you I don't want to know. I'm sorry, I
- 44:48Speaker 1: don't want to subscriptions and nothing. Brother, I might as
- 44:50Speaker 1: to cut you off right now. Oh whatnot no subscription
- 44:53Speaker 1: as you're calling my subscriptions. It's something no, no, no, no,
- 44:56Speaker 1: I'm a neighbor, my man, I'm I'm I'm just a
- 44:58Speaker 1: couple of blocks over from you. No, I got your
- 45:01Speaker 1: number for one of the neighbors I was. I was
- 45:03Speaker 1: calling to let you know I've been smelling you. I've
- 45:05Speaker 1: been smelling your barbecue, man, That's what I was calling about.
- 45:08Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, man, you you've been grilling every day.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Seemed like over there, I've been smelling the smoke in
- 45:13Speaker 1: the are you you you over there putting it down? Huh?
- 45:16Speaker 1: I mean I think thank you for the compliment. But um, yeah,
- 45:20Speaker 1: I mean now you said, I mean I had nothing
- 45:22Speaker 1: else to do but cook, you know, in these times,
- 45:24Speaker 1: I mean I might as well. I'm good at you
- 45:27Speaker 1: know who who gave you my number? Though? Uh it's
- 45:30Speaker 1: a down on your street. Uh, last name Edwards. I
- 45:34Speaker 1: can't remember to do first Now. I called him Edwards.
- 45:37Speaker 1: I think he lives on your street. I'm not sure.
- 45:39Speaker 1: So you when you cooking smooth, man, I could I
- 45:43Speaker 1: burned a little bit at you know. That's and that's
- 45:44Speaker 1: why I call it like like you know, from one
- 45:46Speaker 1: barbecue brother to another. I'll just reaching out, I said, Man,
- 45:48Speaker 1: it's burning over there, so you're putting it in? Man,
- 45:51Speaker 1: what are you've been cooking since? Since h since we've
- 45:53Speaker 1: been locked down. I mean, you know, I've kind of been,
- 45:56Speaker 1: you know, experimented a little. I've been doing some uh
- 45:59Speaker 1: you know, doing some two different woods, uh, cherry, you know,
- 46:03Speaker 1: I kind of mix it in a little bit of hickory.
- 46:05Speaker 1: You know what kind of pills of what I'm cooking,
- 46:07Speaker 1: whether it's fish, just you know, chicken, I mix it
- 46:09Speaker 1: up every now and then. Sometimes I have legally been
- 46:12Speaker 1: experimented with this mesquite yeah, I mean the sleeve that
- 46:15Speaker 1: just fall off the boat. No, every day about after
- 46:18Speaker 1: four or three. Yeah, that's that's what I've been smelling.
- 46:21Speaker 1: The smoke because you're smoke. You're smoke coming to my yard.
- 46:25Speaker 1: You know, I'm I'm two blocks old. When you're smoke
- 46:27Speaker 1: carrying a good distance man. But yeah, but that's all right,
- 46:30Speaker 1: do its all right. But I've been soaking my chips
- 46:34Speaker 1: and all that stuff. I mean, you know, I've been
- 46:36Speaker 1: just trying some new techniques, you know, not crazy. Yeah,
- 46:40Speaker 1: let me go crazy. No, it ain't got me going crazy.
- 46:44Speaker 1: It's to be completely honest with you, bro, it's kind
- 46:46Speaker 1: of got me up. You and you'll meet up. So
- 46:49Speaker 1: damn bad dog that I'm sitting this smelling this shoe
- 46:52Speaker 1: and I'm trying to figure out what are you doing?
- 46:55Speaker 1: You know? You you soaking this? You using cherry? Hey man,
- 46:58Speaker 1: if you ain't putting no, no, no, ok there now
- 47:02Speaker 1: you're you're a dude on the grill that don't know
- 47:04Speaker 1: what you're doing. And that's my why ain't got a
- 47:07Speaker 1: cut at me? Because you you you from a real
- 47:11Speaker 1: barbecue man. You don't know what the you're doing. And
- 47:13Speaker 1: that's that's the whole I am. I've been in competitions
- 47:17Speaker 1: you talking about the real barbecue, ain't. I mean I didn't.
- 47:20Speaker 1: They ain't no where you've been in no damn competition
- 47:23Speaker 1: for no barbecue dog, not with you. I'm smelling, man. Look,
- 47:27Speaker 1: I talked to you because I'm bored and you're just
- 47:30Speaker 1: gonna start cutting at me and talking about my how
- 47:33Speaker 1: you know what it is? You haven't even I can.
- 47:35Speaker 1: I can smell it. I can smell a wood in
- 47:37Speaker 1: the air, and no and know what's right or what's wrong?
- 47:40Speaker 1: Smell good? And did you just come out of nowhere custing?
- 47:42Speaker 1: I mean, I knew we're all going crazy right now,
- 47:44Speaker 1: but no, hey man, hey man, listen, hear what I'm
- 47:47Speaker 1: gonna I'm gonna gonna say this. You ain't gotta cut that, Okay, cool? Cool,
- 47:51Speaker 1: I ain't gonna cust no more cool, But let me
- 47:52Speaker 1: say this. Don't put nothing else on that up. Don't
- 47:57Speaker 1: put nothing else on that grill. I swat teeth for
- 48:00Speaker 1: at least some more. I don't want to smell your smoke. No,
- 48:02Speaker 1: modg you gonna tell me what the two? You don't
- 48:05Speaker 1: even know me like that, You're just gonna have to
- 48:06Speaker 1: smell it. I'm just saying, I'm two blocks over and
- 48:09Speaker 1: I'm tired of smelling your smoke. I'm tired of smelling it.
- 48:12Speaker 1: You don't know what you're doing. Don't put nothing else
- 48:14Speaker 1: on that pit for at least another money. I don't
- 48:17Speaker 1: know what to tell you if I'll put some rotten
- 48:20Speaker 1: tomatoes on there, and I want to smoke. You're gonna
- 48:22Speaker 1: smell it, how about that? Man? Okay, man talking, no, no, no, no, no,
- 48:27Speaker 1: I'm bored out of my mind. You called me talking, hey,
- 48:30Speaker 1: don because because you got the smoking ad and smell
- 48:33Speaker 1: like you don't know what you're doing. I do know
- 48:37Speaker 1: what I'm doing. Have you tasted it? I don't want
- 48:40Speaker 1: to taste it. I don't want my sut off the bone.
- 48:44Speaker 1: I've been experimented. Okay, Okay, I did put some apple sauce,
- 48:48Speaker 1: see that right there? What the kids that you did?
- 48:51Speaker 1: What with some apple sauce? Hey man, don't put you okay,
- 48:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna sending you some YouTube videos you can learn
- 49:01Speaker 1: how to barbecue because you're gonna quit the neighborhood up, dog,
- 49:04Speaker 1: don't tell me what to do. They don't sit right
- 49:06Speaker 1: with me. I ain't got no job right now. You're
- 49:07Speaker 1: telling me what to do. I ain't got the house,
- 49:10Speaker 1: and you're just gonna tell me what to do if
- 49:13Speaker 1: your food is tight while you wasting it on the bottom. Brother,
- 49:17Speaker 1: just quick, no, no, I'm trying to figure out how
- 49:20Speaker 1: to stop your ass from cooking. Man. I'm doing what
- 49:24Speaker 1: no cooking out on the grill, and everybody got the
- 49:27Speaker 1: smells and that we know ain't being cook right. I'm
- 49:30Speaker 1: a barbecue man. I know what I'm doing. You don't,
- 49:32Speaker 1: and it bothers me. So that's why I got your number.
- 49:35Speaker 1: You got a sauce with what competition you want? I
- 49:38Speaker 1: don't have to be in no competitions. Everybody come to
- 49:41Speaker 1: get my barbecue? Who that the bombs? No? I ain't no, okay,
- 49:45Speaker 1: hey man, hey man, listen, let's finish this this way.
- 49:49Speaker 1: If you put something else on the grill, I'm gonna
- 49:51Speaker 1: come around there. Whoop your ass. You ain't gonna how
- 49:56Speaker 1: about that? Just so my damn, it's called me with
- 50:05Speaker 1: this bull. Hey man, hey, this this nephew till me

- 51:03Speaker 1: I'm real when it comes to barbecue. I'm real about it. Okay,
- 51:07Speaker 1: so serious about this, real serious when it comes to barbecue.
- 51:11Speaker 1: And right I tell you call you out. Okay, I
- 51:15Speaker 1: don't know what is this? Uh? You know, because there's
- 51:18Speaker 1: some people like that ball in briskets for a minute,
- 51:21Speaker 1: then put them on the good is you're doing? What
- 51:23Speaker 1: does that? Who do? That's no balling the reels and
- 51:27Speaker 1: brisket will do that? Right there? You two judgment on Tommy.
- 51:33Speaker 1: None about have time for that. You're the person that
- 51:36Speaker 1: put us steak in the crock pot. Yes you stop
- 51:39Speaker 1: with the price together. That almost ended my marriage. Those
- 51:46Speaker 1: are painful memories right there. Not not about to get
- 51:50Speaker 1: the papers. Okay, so hey, laying in the cut, I'm
- 51:58Speaker 1: adding some dates, so um, I can't talk about it.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Yet when I signed the paperwork now I talk about it,
- 52:03Speaker 1: I ain't be talking about it right now. But y'all
- 52:05Speaker 1: get ready. I'm just gonna give a hint, uh Florida, Florida.
- 52:11Speaker 1: It's stay staying, stay tuned, Florida. I'm gonna let y'all
- 52:13Speaker 1: know where where I'm coming. Just stay tuned. Paper will
- 52:16Speaker 1: be done by the marrow. Okay, that's all. Yeah, it's
- 52:20Speaker 1: so serious. Yes, these dates are seriously signed. H you
- 52:25Speaker 1: gotta to get that done first. Okay, it's a secret
- 52:28Speaker 1: where you're going. Yeah, yeah, right now, but you know
- 52:32Speaker 1: the marrow won't be because I you know, I've been
- 52:34Speaker 1: in signing papers you know, will be dry. Yeah, I
- 52:38Speaker 1: got you, I got you. Yeah yeah. Matter of fact,
- 52:41Speaker 1: it's like two cities. Yeah, I'm gonna drop two. I'm
- 52:45Speaker 1: on you by tomorrow's two. I'm on your bottomorrow. Watch me,
- 52:51Speaker 1: watch me, watch me girls. Yeah, it's back open and
- 52:55Speaker 1: time me back out there. Okay, Well, I well a man,
- 53:00Speaker 1: I mask up all the way down, all the way
- 53:04Speaker 1: to all the way to the stage, then mask off
- 53:07Speaker 1: so I get all stage man's back up. All right,
- 53:11Speaker 1: all right, Well, congratulations, we'll look forward to hearing from
- 53:14Speaker 1: you tomorrow about where you're gonna be coming up next.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Strawberry Letters, subject my sister and my mister. We'll get
- 53:20Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 53:23Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Happy birthday to our girl, Shirley Strawberry.
- 53:28Speaker 1: Today is her birthday. Get busy girl, Happy birthday. Thank you,
- 53:33Speaker 1: Thank you guys. Which one is it? Though? It's that
- 53:37Speaker 1: gonna worry you all day? Yes, look at Sydney party.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Come to dinner at Sydney to figure out her age? Age? Right?
- 53:50Speaker 1: That is so rude. That's my friend. I love him
- 53:53Speaker 1: all right, here we go subject. Okay, time now for
- 53:58Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter. I'm skipped all over that on my birthday.
- 54:02Speaker 1: If you need advice on relationships, dating, work, sex, parenting,
- 54:06Speaker 1: and more, please submit your Strawberry letter to Steve HARVEYFM

- 54:12Speaker 1: Who knows this letter could be yours? It could be
- 54:16Speaker 1: write us. We'll try to help you buckle up, but
- 54:19Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 54:21Speaker 1: is a Strawberry letter. Thank enough you. Subject my sister
- 54:25Speaker 1: and my mister, Dear Stephen, Shirley A year ago I
- 54:29Speaker 1: found out that my husband cheated on me with my sister.
- 54:33Speaker 1: We were married for nine years, so it was not
- 54:35Speaker 1: unusual for him to have a great relationship with my sis.
- 54:39Speaker 1: They joked around and would play fight like they did
- 54:42Speaker 1: not like each other, and all along I thought it
- 54:45Speaker 1: was cute and I had no idea that that was
- 54:48Speaker 1: for play. I caught them in our garage one day
- 54:51Speaker 1: years ago behind the car, and my husband jumped up
- 54:54Speaker 1: and told me they were trying to scare me. Boy,
- 54:57Speaker 1: was I stupid? Back then? I started yes. I started
- 55:02Speaker 1: to hear rumors from other family members about how close
- 55:05Speaker 1: my husband and my sister were, and my female intuition
- 55:09Speaker 1: kicked in. I started monitoring his text messages and his email,
- 55:14Speaker 1: but didn't find anything. Then my nephew told me about
- 55:19Speaker 1: the WhatsApp and how he and his friends can send
- 55:23Speaker 1: private messages on it without his mom seeing them. I
- 55:26Speaker 1: found the app on my husband's phone and that's where
- 55:30Speaker 1: all of the messages were. He had set up a
- 55:33Speaker 1: lunchtime quickie with my sister at her salon, and little
- 55:37Speaker 1: did he know I was coming to She has one
- 55:41Speaker 1: of those salon suites in a building, so there's not
- 55:44Speaker 1: much privacy in there. I could barely see them through
- 55:47Speaker 1: the blinds, but I saw what I needed to see.
- 55:50Speaker 1: My husband had my sister bent over the shampoo bowl
- 55:55Speaker 1: and I almost passed out. I stayed until it was over,
- 55:59Speaker 1: and when he out, I threw my coffee on him
- 56:02Speaker 1: and asked him to move out of our house as
- 56:04Speaker 1: soon as possible. I have not seen or spoken to
- 56:08Speaker 1: my sister in a year. She and my ex husband
- 56:11Speaker 1: still mess around, but I'm happy and dating. I've forgiven
- 56:15Speaker 1: him and my sister. But my sister can't face me
- 56:19Speaker 1: still and talk about what she's done to me. Life
- 56:23Speaker 1: is short? So how do I get her to talk
- 56:25Speaker 1: to me? Please advise? All right, let me see, all right,
- 56:31Speaker 1: this woman, your sister, slept with your husband on more
- 56:34Speaker 1: than one occasion. You saw her bent over the shampoo
- 56:39Speaker 1: bowl with your husband. You're upset? What you're saying? Yeah,
- 56:48Speaker 1: and you're upset because she won't talk to you. What huh?
- 56:54Speaker 1: What do you want to talk to her about? Why
- 56:58Speaker 1: she did it, how she did at it? Why is
- 57:01Speaker 1: she still messing around with him? That's really the only
- 57:04Speaker 1: conversation you guys can have at this point. And look,
- 57:08Speaker 1: I definitely believe in forgiveness. I do and truly commend
- 57:12Speaker 1: you for extending the olive branch to your sister and
- 57:14Speaker 1: realizing that life is short. I just don't get why
- 57:18Speaker 1: you think your sister would want to talk to you.
- 57:20Speaker 1: I mean, she's still sleeping with your ex. You say
- 57:23Speaker 1: she's scared to face you, but I think she simply
- 57:27Speaker 1: doesn't give a narn about whether you guys speak or not,
- 57:30Speaker 1: or if you are sisters or not. If she did
- 57:33Speaker 1: after you busted them, she would have stopped seeing them,
- 57:36Speaker 1: or tried seeing him, or tried somehow to make it
- 57:39Speaker 1: up to you. She would have tried something. But it's
- 57:42Speaker 1: been a whole year and you've got nothing from her.
- 57:45Speaker 1: It says to me, not that she's scared like you think,
- 57:48Speaker 1: but it says that just because someone is related to you,
- 57:51Speaker 1: like your blood sister in this case, doesn't mean they
- 57:54Speaker 1: won't sleep with your man. So pleasus, I mean, go on,
- 57:58Speaker 1: continue to live your best life. I love your sister
- 58:01Speaker 1: from a distance, Steve. The letter should be my trifling
- 58:06Speaker 1: sister and my mister. Yeah, and that's all it is.
- 58:10Speaker 1: I really can't add anything to what Shirley said. She
- 58:15Speaker 1: covered the letter exactly the way it should be covered.
- 58:19Speaker 1: I don't know what you want. Look if you okay,
- 58:24Speaker 1: let me just go. You said that you was married
- 58:30Speaker 1: nine years ago and you found out your husband cheated
- 58:33Speaker 1: on you with your sister. Okay, Now, and y'all was
- 58:37Speaker 1: married nine years so it was unusual for him to
- 58:40Speaker 1: have a great It wasn't unusual for him to have
- 58:43Speaker 1: a great relationship with your sister. They joke around, would
- 58:47Speaker 1: play flight like they ain't like each other. That's how
- 58:49Speaker 1: kids doing school. Yeah, I act like I ain't like
- 58:54Speaker 1: yvon Chuck when I was in the element school. But lord,
- 58:58Speaker 1: Yvonne Chuck, Lord he messed girl. That girl had plats
- 59:04Speaker 1: in her hand. Dog had some Brits blue and yellow.
- 59:15Speaker 1: It might be my birthday, but I've never had plattes. Okay,
- 59:21Speaker 1: so now figure it out. Come on, Steve. I didn't
- 59:26Speaker 1: know what to do with a girl when I was eight,
- 59:28Speaker 1: But I just wanted huh, what did you want? I mean,
- 59:36Speaker 1: I wanted huh. You know, you know, I wanted her
- 59:39Speaker 1: like I wanted a bike. You know, well that was different.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Shouldn't have said bike. I wanted her like I wanted
- 59:47Speaker 1: a new baseball glove. I just wanted her to be
- 59:51Speaker 1: my friend. Anyway, you were alive? Did she? Oh? She
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: she did. I was stuttering though, so I couldn't so yeah,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: all right, Well, hang on, Steve, we'll have part two
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: of today's Strawberry Letter, My Sister and My Mister at
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour, and we would get
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Steve Part two right after this. You're listening show, All right,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: my sister and my mister. Well, your sister, your trip
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: and sisters mess around with your husband. You found out
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: y'all were together nine years and it was wasn't unusual
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: for them to be close. So you say they would
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: play fighting, act like they ain't like each other. You
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: thought it was cute. You had no idea it was
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: four playing. Then one day you caught him in the
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: garage behind the car, and your husband jumped on and
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: told they was trying to skive me? Or was I stupid?
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Back then? What is y'all doing back behind? Contrast? How
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: did they do that? You know? They back down? They
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: kissing real hard behind the car. Go boot. We tried
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: to scare you, you called us God, let's go back
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: in here. Girl. So I started hearing rumors from other
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: family members about how close they were, and your female
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: tuition kicked in way too damn l I started monitoring
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: his text message and you couldn't find that. Then your
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: nephew told you about who's happened. Now he and his
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: friends can send private messages without his mama seeing. So
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: you found the app on your husband's phone, and that's
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: why all the messages were. He had said a bunch
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: time quickie with my sister at her salon, and little
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: did he know I was coming to She got one
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: of them salon sweets in a building, so there ain't
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: much privacy, and now I could barely see them through
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: the blinds. When I saw what I need to see,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: my husband had my sister bent over the shampoo boone
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: and I almost passed out. I stayed there until it
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: was over because he was bringing it. I mean, I'm sorry,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: but that ain't even excuse me. I stayed until it
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: was over, and when he walked out, I threw my
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: coffee on him. That's good if the coffee was hot,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: but that depends on how long she was over that
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: shampoo bow because your coffee might have been cold and
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: didn't have that much effect. So, and I think it
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: was cold because you ain't mentioned nothing about him going
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: blind and nothing like that, which I'm pretty sure was
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: your whole gold Wait a minute, said it was cold. Yeah,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: I think the coffee was cold because they was on
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: that shampool bow for a long after time. It wasn't
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: as quick as you thought it was gonna be cold.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: The coffee was cold because when you throw the coffee
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: on him, he didn't He didn't run a holla or nothing.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: He just stood there. He thought it was ice coffee
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: from star Bull because she had been she had been
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: all over that shampoo bow, putting near work. And so
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: then anyway, and now asking to move out of our
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: house as soon as possible. Now, I've not seen us
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: spoken to my sister in a year. She and my
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: ex husband said, you didn't got a divorce. Still mess around,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: But I'm happy in Dayton, I forgiving him and my sister.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: But my sister still can't face me and talk about
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: what she's done to me. Life is short, So how
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: do I get her to talk to me? So you
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: want to talk about she can't face you and talk
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: about what she's done to me. So you want to
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: confront her about it, which I do definitely understand because
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I would want to know too what the hell you
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: was thinking. But we're gonna talk after I get mine
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: in though. Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna get something in before
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: we talk, And so I don't really understand. I agree
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: with Shirley, it's what you want to talk to you afore.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: But Shirley said, forgiveness is a good thing. I'm not
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: gonna forgive you right away what it was. Yeah, so
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: and you saw it the sapoo. Yeah, that shampoo bowl.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: You can't even going in and get your head done.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: No more that you can't even going that damn salon
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: them the blind you were sneaking looking in just the chair.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: He had his foot one when you were there at
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: that shampoo bowl, and she had her head on that
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: side with the loop in it. She had her head
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: and that her thought was on that. And he had
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: one of his knees up in that chair facing the
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: ball because he was going for leverage and he was
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: in that and then he had in one hand was
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: on that water hole, that one single nozzle that just
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: fray and he was just refreshing himself every nine But
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: products did they knock down off the shelf? Though, girl,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: there was so much luster curl on that day offlow girl,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: I had luster curl in there, having pro line because
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: you know they old damn pro line in there, some
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: more and and and some crown raw. And then they
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: had a look some of that blue jaw burgermark, you know. Yeah,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: and then somebody had beat shop. Yeah, this is a
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: beauty shop. This ain't no salon the old as people
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: in the hill. And he felt a little burning on
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: his baby finger because the baby finger had got got
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: in that soft for eight and he knowed that baby
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: was over there in that soft eate, just burning. And
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: he thought he had touched that flat one, but it
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: was that damn souff for eight. And then she turned
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: around because he was going too good. She turned around
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: the swan at him, but she had out hand is
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: from Gloves, Maine, and that he thought he had a
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: head rag on. He know what to do? Oh crazy,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: We gotta go. Poster comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook, and please check
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast one demand of coming up
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: at forty six minutes after the hour I don't think
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: he's I don't think he's done. Part three Strawberry Letter.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: My mister, he's got more in this beauty shop. We'll
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here we are back at part three
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: of this letter. This let us. I want y'all to
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: know this was not salon. This is a beauty shop. Yes, yes, yeah,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: this is a beauty shop. They old him. And she
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: went on there looking at them blinds and where she
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: saw when her sister was in that shampoo bowl, just
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: getting hammered. But Hank, Hank was in there, Hank and
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: henry Etta was in there. Henrietta. Henrietta is the sister
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: he had. Henrietta been over that shampoo bowl. I ain't
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: saying what they were doing, but Henrietta had tied her
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: head up since she knew he was coming down. Now.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: She had put her head rag on because she couldn't
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: get her half sweated out because she had another client
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: coming in at four fifteen. So they was meeting at
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: two third because it was supposed to be a quickt
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: but she know Hank don't know how to do nothing quick.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: So they've been there about forty minutes. That's why she
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: wrapped her head up, you know, because she got that
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: short cut and she tried to keep it right and everything.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: So they was in there and a couple of things
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: had started to happening real bad because Hank had hurt
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: his knee while he was doing his business back there.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Because you know, this dude named Waverley, he still got
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: a curl. This old man named Waverley, he still got
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: a curl. And so he had them little bitty pink
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: rollers and one of them was in the flow. Hank
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: got on that little last pink roller and his leg
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: went out, yeah, and he fell up under that sheld
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: and when he fell he knocked over Baba Barba saw
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: Barba Saw. That's that stuff that being men's shop. That
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: you that blue stuff that you put the comb in,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: that's a disinfected and that got in his eye. He
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: knocked that barba sall over and he got into his eye. Damn.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: They're like liniment. So he was in the flow, Holly,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: and so she thought it was cause she was really
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: doing something special at that time. Oh okay, But he
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: had fell in the flow. But Hank was still connected
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: to her even when he's selling the floor because Hank
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Hank something else. Girl, he's a beast all rights. Watching
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: all of this, and the sister looking at she said,
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: and the letter, she almost passed out. Yes, she did,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: she did. She couldn't believe her sister was getting Hank
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: because she thought she was the only one wind Hank.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: But Hank too much man for one woman, but not
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: enough for two. You know that's to be a Wither song.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: You know, I want, I want to do it in
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: the hasselon want You're hot, Tommy, all right, coming up
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we'll have more of
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. It's my
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: birth day. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Democratic Leader
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi posted that Kevin McCarthy and many House Republicans
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: continued to disrespect law enforcement and dismissed their heroism after
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: January sixth insurrection. Yesterday, during the House Select Committee hearing,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: officer Henry Dunn said that no one had ever called
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: him an inn word while wearing a Capitol Police officer uniform.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Take a listen to this, please. I'm a law enforcement
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: officer and I do my best to keep politics out
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: of my job. But in this circumstance, I responded, well,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I voted for Joe Biden. Is my vote not count?
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Am I nobody? That prompted a torrent of racial epithets.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: One woman in a pink Maga shirt yelled, you hear that,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: guys voted for Joe Biden. Then the crowd, perhaps around
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: twenty people joined in, screaming boom. No one had ever
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: ever called me a while wearing the uniform of a
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Capital police officer. Wow. Wow, Wow. It's chilling hearing it
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: in their own words, isn't it. I saw his testimony yesterday,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: Officer Harry Dunn, and it was just unbelievable that these
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: conservative gops is Republicans are down playing what happened on
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: January sixth. They're acting like there's no big deal. You know,
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: we're waiting for the elections next year. They think they're,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: you know, gonna win and get back in power. That's
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: what this is all about, all of it. So that's
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: only there's only been one person convicted. The one sentencing
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: of the one guy that we talked about last weekend.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Tommy got about eight months or something like that, and
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: he got that sentence because the judge said he wasn't
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: the ringleader. Ain't that right? Well, leader, let's get him
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: Donald Trump leader. You're so right about that. Officer Harry
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: Dunn went on to say that the person who ordered
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: the hit on January six should be arrested just like
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: the hitman would be in any other criminal case. Also,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: officer uh Michael Phenone confronted lawmakers for downplaying the riot. Yeah,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: and he got seriously hurt in all of this. That's
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: the one that said, thank you, Steve, and then blank
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: you remember him? Yeah? You know what, though, Man, it's
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: like this any if this had been anybody else, Yes,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: if this for just the Black Lives Matter protesters, this
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: is not even a question of is this a crime,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: how should this be punished? Or did they do the
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: officers wrong? It wouldn't even be a question. But the
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Republican Party has politicized this. Yeah, and that is the
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: damn shameness of this country we live in, because it
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: is such a hypocritical ass country. They ain't nothing on
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: paper they say they are. They don't give a damn
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: about that judicial system if it affects their power and
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: their money in their position. Yes, So now to hail
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: away with all y'all we want to stay in office.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I don't make no sense, man, Yeah, that don't make
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: no sense, none at all, none at all. And these
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: hearings continue. I mean, they're just making it so difficult.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: You know, they won't call it what it is. You know,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: people died. It's like they're they're downplaying that and watering
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: it down. It's a disgrace really what they're doing. It's
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: really let's go to the source. Let's go back to
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: who started it, who sent y'all down the street, and
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: that's the person that is responsible forty fine anything, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: This is like Steve said, if it was anybody else
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: that had done this and we know this, yeah, you know,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: well what have happened? And then they're downplaying and who's
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: paying for that damage to the buildings, the Capitol buildings,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: all that we've pay for that taxpone taxpayers. All Right,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: we'll have more Today's trending stories and more of the
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening Morning Show? All right? Sureley,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: say it's your birthday, girl, today, it's your birthday. It's
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: your birthday. So what are you gonna do today? I'm
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: gonna get cake and ice cream. You know. I'm a
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: cake and a bluebell ice cream girl. I have to
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: have that on my birthday. Yeah, it's but I don't care.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: I gotta get some today. I like homemade vanilla, Yeah,
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: like strawberry. I like chocolate. And I might try a
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: banana pudding one. I haven't tried that one. But I'm
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: not gonna eat like a lot of it. I'm just
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: gonna taste a lot of it. But yeah, and I might.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna get a strawberry cake this time. Okay, okay,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: good thing. But let's cut to the chase. Let's cut
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: to the chase. Show which birthday is this? How is
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: this one? I want to know which one it is?
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: I mean, we celebrated what I need to know. I
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: need a number. We've been friends forever? You know? Okay, okay, sir,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: let me w who you know what? Okay? You know?
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: How old I am? Okay, that's what. That's it. I
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: just shouldn't have said that. How how old was you
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: when when Good Times was on? I think, uh was
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: you driving? Going on ten? Driver? Did you drive over
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: your friend's house watching to watch it are so funny,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: so funny, Friday Girl. Time to trying to get that age.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: I know he is all right. Coming up more of
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show at thirty three minutes after.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Time now for ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: hard in the building, Steve get Ready. This one is
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: from CD in Chicago, my hometown. CD writes, I'm a
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: thirty nine year old married woman and I had an
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: outside child during our third year of marriage. My husband
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: was a cheater. He cheated on me before and after
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: we got married, and I tried to play the same game,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: but I was careless. I had a son, and I
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: have fallen in love with the father of my child.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: My husband begged me not to leave because he's a
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: pastor and everyone thinks we're such a perfect couple. I'm
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: tired of living this lie. Would I'd be crazy to
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: leave my husband in hopes of a fresh start with
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: the other guy. Well, it's one simple question you need
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: to know. Does the other guy want to have a
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: fresh start with you? See Max? And how does he?
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: How old is the son? Well, doesn't say, but she
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: had a child under third year of marriage. That's the
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: only question you need to know is does this guy
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: you had this affair and with want to have a
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: new start with you. That's that's the problem. See you
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: you want a lot of stuff, but ain't gonna happen.

- 1:17:21Speaker 1: the pastor know that he raising another man's child? Oh? Hello,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: if you want me to stay, what does that called for?
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: That day? All right, we're moving on La Curtis and

- 1:18:08Speaker 1: a total mess. I could tell he had a woman
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: in it, and it smelled like weed. I asked him
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: to get it professionally clean, but he said it was
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: like that before he got in there. I can't have
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: my wife in there after some bimbo has stayed there.

- 1:18:38Speaker 1: And he come right over there and have another woman
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: in there. So now you got to clean it. And
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: I guess you've told your wife somehow that there was
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: a woman in here, or your wife went out there
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: and discovered it. But you got to get the thing
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: professionally clean. Niece, new best friends and all that. Yep.
