- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome. It is Verdict with Center, Ted Kruz, Ben Ferguson
- 0:03Speaker 1: with you. It's nice to have you with us. We've
- 0:05Speaker 1: got some big breaking news. We're just gonna start right
- 0:07Speaker 1: away with its Senator, I'm gonna let you take it
- 0:09Speaker 1: away for the announcement.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Look at an extraordinary story. Chuck Schumer has apologized to
- 0:16Speaker 2: the American people. He said he's sorry. He is sorry
- 0:19Speaker 2: that the Democrat Party has embraced open borders. He's sorry
- 0:23Speaker 2: they allowed an invasion of this country. He said, he's
- 0:26Speaker 2: sorry there are a bunch of Jahadis loving lunatics who
- 0:28Speaker 2: defunded the Department of Homeland Security. And he said he's
- 0:32Speaker 2: very very sorry to every TSA agent. He didn't pay
- 0:37Speaker 2: to every Coast guardsman. He's still not paying to every
- 0:41Speaker 2: Secret Service agent. He's not paying to every DHS officer.
- 0:44Speaker 2: He's not paying to every FEMA official responsible for disasters.
- 0:48Speaker 2: He has said he's sorry, and he said, look, the
- 0:52Speaker 2: reason is he's just cheap and scared, and he cares
- 0:58Speaker 2: about power bonuses.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Though, I mean, that's what I want to know. Do
- 1:02Speaker 1: they get their bonuses for showing up?
- 1:05Speaker 2: He will give them all the maduro cocaine I knew
- 1:10Speaker 2: there was a catch here. Now, look, the only problem
- 1:13Speaker 2: with this breaking news is is the calendar date? Yes, yes,
- 1:17Speaker 2: that'll and and and sadly it is April, fools. The
- 1:21Speaker 2: chances of that happening are as likely as pigs flying,
- 1:28Speaker 2: is the moon turning to green cheese, as Chuck Schumer
- 1:31Speaker 2: turning away from a camera. All of those are equally likely.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It's more likely you're going to shave your beer today.
- 1:38Speaker 2: No, no, it's not.
- 1:39Speaker 1: No, okay, it's not. That thing is really there to
- 1:42Speaker 1: stay right. I just want to be real clear about that.
- 1:44Speaker 2: You know, look, it would be impressive, Ben if you
- 1:46Speaker 2: could grow a beer.
- 1:47Speaker 1: You know what I did it once for that It
- 1:49Speaker 1: was it no shave November? Remember that? And they asked
- 1:53Speaker 1: me once on.
- 1:53Speaker 2: TV is anything visible?
- 1:55Speaker 1: It was? It was a little It was there's one
- 1:57Speaker 1: picture on the internet and.
- 1:59Speaker 2: It's kind of hill billy esque.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Is it patchy all? What all comes in? It looked
- 2:02Speaker 1: like I could have sold drugs on the side of
- 2:04Speaker 1: the road. And uh and and so a producer called
- 2:07Speaker 1: me one day and said, we're just curious if that
- 2:10Speaker 1: beard is going to be gone by Sunday. When I
- 2:12Speaker 1: was doing his show, it's like I have to take
- 2:14Speaker 1: the hint. I'll shave it off by Sunday. Yes, it
- 2:16Speaker 1: was Uh. It made it look like I was homeless
- 2:19Speaker 1: and uh and and seriously in need of guidance in life.
- 2:22Speaker 1: So that that does that. That picture is out on
- 2:24Speaker 1: the internet, though, I will say.
- 2:26Speaker 2: You know, the sad thing ben about that whole diet
- 2:29Speaker 2: tribe I went on on April Fools and what Schumer
- 2:32Speaker 2: apologized for. Yeah, there's not a word I said that
- 2:35Speaker 2: was false. I mean the real April Fools joke is
- 2:38Speaker 2: the hundred the other three hundred and sixty four days
- 2:41Speaker 2: a year when he refuses to do that because that
- 2:44Speaker 2: is the Democrat party position it is. It is astonishing.
- 2:48Speaker 2: And so today we're going to talk about We're going
- 2:50Speaker 2: to talk about radical Islamic terrorism and how the Democrats
- 2:54Speaker 2: have coddled it, how they've embraced it, how they've exposed us,
- 2:57Speaker 2: how they've endangered us, and we're going to talk about
- 2:59Speaker 2: it in a number of instances. We're going to talk
- 3:01Speaker 2: about it concerning Michigan and the Michigan terror attack that
- 3:05Speaker 2: we now know was inspired explicitly by Hesbola. We're going
- 3:09Speaker 2: to talk about it in New York City and Comrade
- 3:12Speaker 2: Mandami apparently believing that it is the responsibility of the
- 3:15Speaker 2: mayor of New York City to defend the Ayatola and
- 3:18Speaker 2: to defend the Islamist regime in Iran. And then we're
- 3:22Speaker 2: going to talk about it in terms of a radical
- 3:25Speaker 2: left wing Senate candidate in Michigan who explained just how
- 3:29Speaker 2: many Michiganders are sad, so very very sad that the Ayatola,
- 3:33Speaker 2: the same Ayatola who chanced death to America, that he's
- 3:36Speaker 2: no longer with us. And finally we're going to talk
- 3:40Speaker 2: about something that somehow is not an April fool's joke.
- 3:43Speaker 2: But the Washington Post this week came out and said,
- 3:47Speaker 2: especially with the war in Iran, it underscores how the
- 3:50Speaker 2: Democrat's Green New Deal energy agenda is hurting America profoundly.
- 3:55Speaker 2: And that's actually not an April fool's joke. That's reality.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It's you can't make that part up. We've got a
- 4:02Speaker 1: lot to cover today. There are so many of you
- 4:04Speaker 1: guys that I just want to say thank you that
- 4:06Speaker 1: have really gotten into standing up for the people in Israel,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and there are a lot of people that are under
- 4:11Speaker 1: attack in Israel. There is a lot of people that
- 4:13Speaker 1: are hurting. There are a lot of people that are
- 4:15Speaker 1: in need, and the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews,
- 4:19Speaker 1: they are on the front right lines right now helping people,
- 4:22Speaker 1: including Holocaust survivors who are homebound, giving them food and
- 4:26Speaker 1: medical care within their home. And they need our help
- 4:30Speaker 1: now more than ever before. A sacred season is approaching Passover,
- 4:35Speaker 1: when we remember God's deliverance, the night he brought his
- 4:38Speaker 1: people out of bondage and into freedom. This year, many
- 4:42Speaker 1: of God's people will observe in darkness under the shadow
- 4:46Speaker 1: of war across Israel. Red alert sirens pierced the air,
- 4:50Speaker 1: Families run to shelters with seconds to spare, elderly men
- 4:55Speaker 1: and women fear they'll be left behind, and parents are
- 4:59Speaker 1: comforting their frightened children as explosions shake the night. Sleeplessness
- 5:04Speaker 1: and uncertainty have become daily life in Israel, and Passover
- 5:08Speaker 1: reminds us that God hears the cries of his people
- 5:11Speaker 1: and answers with love and compassion. And that's why the
- 5:15Speaker 1: International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is on the ground
- 5:19Speaker 1: in Israel right now. They're providing food and emergency supplies,
- 5:24Speaker 1: equipping bomb shelters, and caring for elderly Holocaust survivors, just
- 5:29Speaker 1: as his people once cried out for deliverance. Vulnerable Israelis
- 5:33Speaker 1: need your help today with your generous Passover gift. It
- 5:37Speaker 1: shows you stand with God's people, and if you are
- 5:41Speaker 1: ready to stand with the people of Israel, then stand
- 5:44Speaker 1: with the IFCJ and help. You can call them eight
- 5:47Speaker 1: to eight four eight eight IFCJ. That's eight eight eight
- 5:53Speaker 1: four eight eight IFCJ to rush your gift right now,
- 5:57Speaker 1: or you can give online at ifc dot org. That's
- 6:02Speaker 1: if CJ dot org. All right, Senator, So let's get
- 6:06Speaker 1: to this first big story here, and this is one
- 6:10Speaker 1: of the ones that concerns me so much about what
- 6:14Speaker 1: is happening in this country right now. We've also seen
- 6:16Speaker 1: this happen in Europe, and we are now seeing that
- 6:20Speaker 1: there are more attacks. We're seeing churches that are being
- 6:22Speaker 1: burned around the world, and we're now seeing this synagogue
- 6:25Speaker 1: attacker that attacked on behalf of Hesblah. It happened right
- 6:30Speaker 1: here in Michigan. We know a lot more now than
- 6:33Speaker 1: we did before.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you remember when this story broke, when the man
- 6:36Speaker 2: drove his truck into the synagogue that was also a school.
- 6:40Speaker 2: There were over one hundred kids there. He was trying
- 6:42Speaker 2: to kill as many young children as he could. And
- 6:45Speaker 2: the media coverage they referred to him as Michigan Man.
- 6:49Speaker 2: It was reminiscent of Maryland Man, the guy who was
- 6:52Speaker 2: MS thirteen gangbanger and human trafficker. That was just a
- 6:56Speaker 2: Maryland man who for some reason was deported. No one
- 6:59Speaker 2: could imagine why. Well, here it was Michigan Man, and
- 7:02Speaker 2: then they had all this sympathetic coverage. Michigan Man was
- 7:06Speaker 2: upset that his brother had been killed in the Middle East.
- 7:09Speaker 2: What they didn't mention is his brother was a commander
- 7:12Speaker 2: for Hesbela, and so he was a terrorist. So Hesbela
- 7:16Speaker 2: terrorist in America, unhappy that a different Hesbela terrorist had
- 7:20Speaker 2: been killed, and so he tried to kill as many children,
- 7:23Speaker 2: as many Jews as possible. Here are the details the
- 7:27Speaker 2: attack earlier this month. This is from CNN on a
- 7:30Speaker 2: synagogue in West Bloomfield, Michigan, was a quote Hesbela inspired
- 7:34Speaker 2: act of terrorism purposely targeting the Jewish community and the
- 7:39Speaker 2: largest Jewish temple in Michigan, the FBI said a news
- 7:43Speaker 2: conference on Monday, the assailant, I'man Ghazzali, was a naturalized
- 7:48Speaker 2: US citizen from Lebanon's now put a pin in that
- 7:51Speaker 2: that we need to change our vetting for naturalized citizens.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 2: He rammed a pickup truck into the synagogue on March
- 8:00Speaker 2: twelve as more than one hundred children were attending school inside.
- 8:06Speaker 2: After waiting in the synagogue's parking lot for more than
- 8:08Speaker 2: two hours, authority said, Gazali drove the truck far into
- 8:11Speaker 2: the building, hitting a security officer before the vehicle became
- 8:15Speaker 2: wedged in a hallway. Security officers for the synagogue began
- 8:20Speaker 2: changing gunfire with Ghazali, who eventually shot and killed himself
- 8:24Speaker 2: inside the truck. During the chaos, the truck's engine compartment
- 8:28Speaker 2: caught fire and caused extension extensive damage to the building.
- 8:33Speaker 2: The truck was filled with over two thousand dollars of
- 8:37Speaker 2: commercial grade fireworks and about thirty five gallons of gasoline,
- 8:43Speaker 2: which he used to enhance the explosion. No one else
- 8:47Speaker 2: was killed. One of the temple's lead security officers was
- 8:51Speaker 2: injured after being hit by the vehicle. Had he lived,
- 8:54Speaker 2: he would have been charged with providing material support to Hesbela,
- 8:57Speaker 2: the Iranian backed terrorist group in Lemanon, said Jerome Gorgon,
- 9:01Speaker 2: the US attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan. Gorgan
- 9:05Speaker 2: added that Gazali was inspired by Hesbelon propaganda to carry
- 9:09Speaker 2: out the attack.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Quote.
- 9:12Speaker 2: This man acted under Hesbelah's direction and control. He intended
- 9:18Speaker 2: to kill others, not just himself. In the days after
- 9:22Speaker 2: the attack, US official said, Gazali was located in federal
- 9:25Speaker 2: government databases as having connections to quote known or suspected
- 9:30Speaker 2: terrorists associated with Hesbela. Stopped there for a second, so
- 9:34Speaker 2: they searched the databases. The databases showed that he had
- 9:37Speaker 2: connections to known or suspected terrorists. Then why the hell
- 9:40Speaker 2: was this guy let in the country in the first place.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Why did they allow him in? Why did they naturalize
- 9:44Speaker 2: him as a citizen. I have a feeling that information
- 9:47Speaker 2: in the databases didn't magically appear in the last fifteen months.
- 9:50Speaker 2: It's been there a long time. It's just prior administrations
- 9:53Speaker 2: didn't care. We didn't get to the bottom of that.
- 9:56Speaker 2: A week prior to the attack, members of gaz Zali's
- 10:00Speaker 2: family in Lebanon, including two brothers, were killed in an
- 10:03Speaker 2: Israeli airstrike. As the US and Israel entered its second
- 10:07Speaker 2: week of conflict with Iran. Now this is where the
- 10:09Speaker 2: media clutched their pearls. Well, his brother was killed, So naturally,
- 10:13Speaker 2: when your brothers killed, what you do is try to
- 10:15Speaker 2: murder a hundred kids. That's the normal reaction to that.
- 10:19Speaker 2: But then here's the killer paragraph that follows, the Israeli
- 10:23Speaker 2: Israeli military said one of the brothers, Ibrahim Mohammad Gazali,
- 10:28Speaker 2: was a Hesbela commander in charge of managing weapons operations
- 10:33Speaker 2: in the Raigning Proxy Group's BOTD unit. Gazali began planning
- 10:38Speaker 2: for the attack days earlier, so the FBI said, with
- 10:41Speaker 2: his plans intensifying on March ninth. A review of Gazali's
- 10:45Speaker 2: online activity dating to January. January was before the war
- 10:51Speaker 2: in Iran started. YEP showed repeated searches for pro Hesbela
- 10:55Speaker 2: and Iranian news outlets, as well as videos related to
- 10:58Speaker 2: gunfire and ammunition. Beginning March ninth, FBI said he closely
- 11:03Speaker 2: followed speeches in live coverage involving Hesblas Secretary Terry General
- 11:08Speaker 2: Naim Kassem, along with reporting about an Iranian fatwah, a
- 11:12Speaker 2: religious ruling concerning Islamic law calling for total jihad against
- 11:17Speaker 2: the US military. He also researched Jewish cultural education and
- 11:23Speaker 2: religious centers throughout the Detroit metro area, viewing multiple pages
- 11:27Speaker 2: of upcoming events at Temple Israel, and searched specific terms
- 11:31Speaker 2: and phrases such as quote the largest gathering of Israelis
- 11:35Speaker 2: in Michigan Orthodox synagogues and Israelis near me. That day,
- 11:42Speaker 2: after two people declined to sell him a weapon, Gazali
- 11:45Speaker 2: bought an AR fifteen style rifle, ten magazines at about
- 11:49Speaker 2: three hundred rounds of ammunition at a gun store in
- 11:52Speaker 2: Dearborn Heights. Runyon said, Now, it's interesting that two stores
- 11:55Speaker 2: declined to sell it to him, and yet the one
- 11:57Speaker 2: in deer Born was willing to. I think that's something else.
- 12:00Speaker 2: You've owned a gun store.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I was gonna say that is a massive red flag.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Like if you turn down somebody and there's two stores
- 12:08Speaker 1: they clearly like were doing their jobs, by the way
- 12:11Speaker 1: a gun stores and.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Say so, tell us as someone who's owned a gun store,
- 12:15Speaker 2: like this guy goes in and says, I want to
- 12:17Speaker 2: buy an AR, Why would a gun store say no.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a couple of reasons one you profile, and
- 12:23Speaker 1: you can see if someone seems angry or agitated. You
- 12:26Speaker 1: can also you're supposed to be looking to see if
- 12:29Speaker 1: an individual you think is doing a straw purchase, which
- 12:32Speaker 1: means they're buying for someone else illegally. You'll see that
- 12:35Speaker 1: happen a lot of times with wives that will come
- 12:37Speaker 1: in their husband would be a felon, or someone that's
- 12:40Speaker 1: disqualified from only a weapon, or a friend will come in.
- 12:43Speaker 1: You'll see people that walk in the store, they'll look
- 12:46Speaker 1: at a gun, they'll take a picture of it, they'll leave,
- 12:48Speaker 1: and then literally thirty seconds later, a minute later, someone
- 12:51Speaker 1: comes in and tries to buy the exact gun that
- 12:53Speaker 1: you just showed to someone else. Like, there's multiple things
- 12:55Speaker 1: that you look for here, but then there's also conversations
- 12:59Speaker 1: if you see that someone comes in and by the way,
- 13:02Speaker 1: if you believe that they're drunk or high or on
- 13:04Speaker 1: some sort of drug, you can refuse. And if you
- 13:07Speaker 1: just have a really bad feeling it's something doesn't feel right,
- 13:11Speaker 1: you can say I'm not gonna sell you a gun,
- 13:13Speaker 1: and you have the rise of store owner to do that.
- 13:15Speaker 1: But when you hear that two gun stores did this
- 13:19Speaker 1: and most yeah, that says a lot, because something there
- 13:21Speaker 1: I would love to see and go back and here
- 13:25Speaker 1: because I'm sure there's going to be an interview. What
- 13:28Speaker 1: was it? And then were the authorities alerted to this?
- 13:30Speaker 1: And yet a third store was able to sell them
- 13:32Speaker 1: the gun. They didn't check in on that afterwards. That
- 13:34Speaker 1: also is very concerning.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Yeah, the story continues. He practiced shooting the new weapon
- 13:39Speaker 2: the next day and bought the fireworks. An order of
- 13:42Speaker 2: dozens of water containers arrived on the eleventh day before
- 13:46Speaker 2: the attack, and he immediately started filling them with gasoline,
- 13:49Speaker 2: making four trips to gas stations so he would not
- 13:51Speaker 2: arouse suspicion. He also bought two torchlighters, which authorities believed
- 13:56Speaker 2: he used to set his truck on fire. On the
- 13:59Speaker 2: day of the attack, Gazali sent his sister, who authorities
- 14:02Speaker 2: believe lives in Lebanon, numerous videos and messages quote affirming
- 14:07Speaker 2: his Hesbela inspired ideology. Ten minutes before he drove his
- 14:12Speaker 2: truck into the synagogue, Gazali sent his sister two videos
- 14:15Speaker 2: in Arabic indicating that he was at the largest gathering
- 14:19Speaker 2: of Israelis in the state of Michigan, had booby trapped
- 14:22Speaker 2: his car and would forcibly enter and start shooting people.
- 14:25Speaker 2: The FBI said, God willing, I will kill as many
- 14:29Speaker 2: of them as I possibly can. Gazali recorded himself saying,
- 14:33Speaker 2: according to Runyan, look, these are the kind of threats
- 14:37Speaker 2: we're facing. By the way, this podcast covered when the
- 14:41Speaker 2: Iranian fotwell went out, and we have covered at length
- 14:47Speaker 2: the radical Islamic terrorists that the Biden administration allowed to
- 14:50Speaker 2: flood into this country and the lack of vetting, and
- 14:54Speaker 2: tragically all of this happened at the same time we
- 14:57Speaker 2: had the Department of Homeland Security shut down because the
- 15:01Speaker 2: Democrats have defunded it. And I'm sorry to say, this
- 15:04Speaker 2: guy is not the last radical Islamic terrorist left in
- 15:07Speaker 2: the country, and yet Senate Democrats do not seem to
- 15:11Speaker 2: care at all.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Well, let's go back in time just a little bit
- 15:14Speaker 1: to remind people. This was part of what President Trump
- 15:17Speaker 1: had said we need to do, which was to go
- 15:19Speaker 1: back and to vet Can you give an update on that.
- 15:22Speaker 1: And as some of that vetting stop because of DHS
- 15:25Speaker 1: lack of funding in all these fights and the government
- 15:27Speaker 1: shutdowns that have happened.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Well, some of that vetting would be happening at the
- 15:32Speaker 2: State Department. Some of it would be happening at DHS.
- 15:34Speaker 2: And so I don't know the status of that vetting.
- 15:37Speaker 2: We have not gotten a report. We obviously have a
- 15:40Speaker 2: brand new Secretary of Homeland Security, Mark Wayne Mullen. By
- 15:43Speaker 2: the way, I will point out, every Democrat but two
- 15:47Speaker 2: voted against confirming him. So their position is they don't
- 15:49Speaker 2: want a secretary of DHS. And by the way, they
- 15:52Speaker 2: all like Mark Wayne. He was a colleague in the Senate.
- 15:54Speaker 2: They knew him, he was well liked on both sides
- 15:56Speaker 2: of the island. Was not personal. They wouldn't vote to confirm.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I would tak bugs Bunny as head of DHS. Their
- 16:04Speaker 2: party is the open borders party. Anyone who has focused
- 16:08Speaker 2: on securing the border. Today's Democrats oppose.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt. And then you look at this story
- 16:14Speaker 1: and you go immediately to New York. I am really
- 16:17Speaker 1: concerned about what we're seeing in New York. You and
- 16:19Speaker 1: I have talked about this Mandani. I think is a
- 16:22Speaker 1: bigger threat to this country than just a threat to
- 16:24Speaker 1: the people in New York City. Let's talk about the
- 16:27Speaker 1: breaking news there as well.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Yeah, very much agree. Give a listen to what Mandami
- 16:33Speaker 2: had to say about about the war in Iran and
- 16:35Speaker 2: about the Iotolin particular. Give a listen.
- 16:38Speaker 3: I think we're seeing the fact that, in the face
- 16:41Speaker 3: of Americans facing a historic affordability crisis, that we have
- 16:45Speaker 3: the pursuit of something that has already cost twenty three
- 16:48Speaker 3: billion dollars thus far, the kind of money that could
- 16:51Speaker 3: transform working class to Americans live, whether through investments in
- 16:56Speaker 3: medicare or teachers, or even elimination of student debt for
- 17:00Speaker 3: tens of thousands of Americans, and all of that being
- 17:03Speaker 3: thrown aside for the pursuit of yet another regime changed war.
- 17:07Speaker 3: And it's a war that should be opposed on every
- 17:09Speaker 3: single ground, not just procedural but also moral, but also political,
- 17:13Speaker 3: and also a war that should be opposed on the
- 17:15Speaker 3: grounds of the fact that it is being financed by
- 17:18Speaker 3: the very money that could make it easier to keep
- 17:21Speaker 3: calling this city, this country home. And yet there is
- 17:25Speaker 3: a blindness to that fact, all while we're being told
- 17:28Speaker 3: that this is this is not what we're seeing with
- 17:30Speaker 3: our own eyes.
- 17:32Speaker 1: All right, Senaert, let's just go to the moral spot there.
- 17:34Speaker 1: When he said that, I'm like, what world is he
- 17:35Speaker 1: living in? Morally then explain the terrorism has Blahamas and
- 17:40Speaker 1: all the other sponsors of terrorism, all the dead bodies
- 17:42Speaker 1: and all the Americans have been killed by Iran. He says,
- 17:45Speaker 1: there's no moral compass for this war to even begin with.
- 17:49Speaker 1: I would say, sit down with families we've lost loved
- 17:51Speaker 1: ones and are placing flowers at tombstones on Memorial Day
- 17:56Speaker 1: and tell them this political garbage.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Look, Iran is killed nearly one thousand Americans over the
- 18:01Speaker 2: last forty seven years. They're the number one state funder
- 18:05Speaker 2: of terrorism in the world. They get provide ninety percent
- 18:08Speaker 2: of the funding for Amas Hesbalah and the Houthis. They
- 18:11Speaker 2: hired hitmen to kill President Trump and the Iyahtola, who
- 18:15Speaker 2: Mandami is grieving right there, regularly would lead mobs chanting
- 18:21Speaker 2: death to America. And yet Mandami's loyalties apparently death to
- 18:26Speaker 2: America is not a sentiment that he has significant disagreement with.
- 18:31Speaker 2: He thinks it is immoral, he thinks it is wrong.
- 18:34Speaker 2: It should be opposed on every front taking out a
- 18:37Speaker 2: regime that is killing Americans. And look, this is the
- 18:41Speaker 2: heart of today's Democrat party. Mandami and AOC and ilhan Omar,
- 18:47Speaker 2: the radical Marxist, Islamist, jihadist America hating Kami left. By
- 18:53Speaker 2: the way, I love that he begins with twenty three
- 18:56Speaker 2: billion dollars? Can you believe they spent that much? Never
- 18:59Speaker 2: in his life has Madami seen government spending that he opposes,
- 19:03Speaker 2: except if it's taking out an Islamist leader who is
- 19:08Speaker 2: murdering Americans. That's the one instance in which government spending
- 19:12Speaker 2: he is opposed to. In every other instance, this.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Man, how much of the government spending in New York
- 19:16Speaker 1: City was for illegal immigrants that they were housing in
- 19:18Speaker 1: four star and five star and three star hotels, Like,
- 19:21Speaker 1: can we just remember, like how much money they've wasted that,
- 19:24Speaker 1: by the way, could have gone to the people of
- 19:26Speaker 1: New York that are suffering. Instead, they said, no, no, we
- 19:29Speaker 1: want to pay out billions to illegal immigrants and make
- 19:32Speaker 1: their lives more comfortable after they broke our loss.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Well, and we played a couple of weeks ago on verdict,
- 19:38Speaker 2: Kathy Hokeel, the New York governor, pleading with rich New
- 19:42Speaker 2: Yorkers who had fled the state, please come back, Please
- 19:45Speaker 2: come back to New York, but not promising to make
- 19:47Speaker 2: it any better, say we want to tax the hell
- 19:49Speaker 2: out of you. We want to take your money, but
- 19:51Speaker 2: we have really lavish social spending programs and if you
- 19:54Speaker 2: don't come back, we won't have the money to pay
- 19:56Speaker 2: for them. And it really is funny. I'm trying to
- 20:00Speaker 2: figure out who is the one rich guy who fled
- 20:03Speaker 2: New York and hears, hey, come back so we can
- 20:06Speaker 2: take your money and give it away because we know
- 20:08Speaker 2: how what to do with it better than you are.
- 20:09Speaker 2: Who's the one audience member who hears that. I don't know,
- 20:12Speaker 2: but Mondammie isn't even saying that he's happy for them
- 20:15Speaker 2: to flee his city. And look, I fear with this
- 20:20Speaker 2: kind of environment. Number one, I fear for the NYPD,
- 20:22Speaker 2: their ability to do their job with a mayor who
- 20:25Speaker 2: now opposes their enforcing the law and protecting New Yorkers.
- 20:29Speaker 2: But number two, his coddling, his embrace of Islamist America haters.
- 20:37Speaker 2: It is not good. New York suffered the very worst
- 20:40Speaker 2: terror attack our country's ever seen on nine to eleven.
- 20:44Speaker 2: DC did as well, But having a mayor who is
- 20:49Speaker 2: now rooting for the death to America crowd, that is
- 20:54Speaker 2: a deep, deeply, deeply concerning development.
- 20:57Speaker 1: If you think Mandannie's like a one off your and
- 21:00Speaker 1: if you want proof of it, and how concerned you
- 21:03Speaker 1: should all be over these types of individuals. Let's saga,
- 21:06Speaker 1: look at the Michigan Senate candidate that avoids discussing Iran
- 21:10Speaker 1: because quote, there's a lot of people in Dearborn who
- 21:14Speaker 1: are sad that we took out the Ayahtola. Like, this
- 21:18Speaker 1: is not just Mandani, folks, this is the Democratic Party
- 21:21Speaker 1: growing very quickly in this Yeah.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Look, some listeners, particularly listeners who are skeptical, when I
- 21:28Speaker 2: said Mondani was sad the Iyahtola was killed, might have said, gosh,
- 21:32Speaker 2: that's too harsh. He's not really that that's putting too much. Well,
- 21:37Speaker 2: Mondani is part of a broader movement of America hating
- 21:42Speaker 2: Islamists who are taking over the Democrat Party. And in Michigan,
- 21:45Speaker 2: you've got a candidate for US Senate, a guy named
- 21:48Speaker 2: Abdul l Sayed, And interestingly enough, he was caught on
- 21:53Speaker 2: tape strategizing what to say about the the Iran War.
- 21:58Speaker 2: And I'll tell you what, how about I don't put
- 22:01Speaker 2: words in his mouth. Ben doesn't put words in his mouth.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Let's listen to the words that came out of his
- 22:05Speaker 2: own mouth.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Give a listener, noa, this is going to DC wise reason.
- 22:09Speaker 4: I also, I want to remind you guys that there
- 22:11Speaker 4: are a lot of people in Dearborn who are sad today.
- 22:14Speaker 4: So like, I just don't want to comment on to
- 22:16Speaker 4: Moni him an A at all.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I don't think it's worth even touching that doesn't even
- 22:25Speaker 1: want to touch this, this this butcher and killer and
- 22:28Speaker 1: murder of Americans because there's a lot of people that
- 22:31Speaker 1: he wants to vote for him in Dearborn that are
- 22:33Speaker 1: sad today.
- 22:34Speaker 2: And by the way, you hear his staffers huh huh,
- 22:37Speaker 2: oh yeah, yeah, I mean they all know that this
- 22:39Speaker 2: is no secret. Why are the people in Dearborn sad?
- 22:44Speaker 2: They're sad for the same reason Mondani is sad because
- 22:48Speaker 2: far too many of them are Islamists who cheer for
- 22:51Speaker 2: the Islamists who want to kill Americans. And and you
- 22:55Speaker 2: know this, Michigan senate candidate, you're gonna talk about senec
- 23:00Speaker 2: listen to his strategy rather than talk about US national security,
- 23:03Speaker 2: rather than talk about killing terrorists, rather than talk about
- 23:06Speaker 2: keeping America safe. What do you think he wants to
- 23:08Speaker 2: do instead? Well, again, don't take my word for it.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Give a listen to his strategy rather than address US
- 23:15Speaker 2: national security.
- 23:16Speaker 4: And I'm just gonna go straight at pedophilia. Frankly, I
- 23:18Speaker 4: was a pedophile. President Bride decides that he doesn't like
- 23:21Speaker 4: the front page news, so he decides.
- 23:23Speaker 3: To take us into another war. There was a time
- 23:24Speaker 3: when you.
- 23:25Speaker 4: All were talking about America first.
- 23:27Speaker 3: This seems to be to be America last.
- 23:30Speaker 1: There it is like, we're just gonna make up stuff,
- 23:32Speaker 1: lie about the president, and do this, and that'll be
- 23:35Speaker 1: our pivot from us actually having to talk about what's
- 23:38Speaker 1: happening in Iran because I don't want to upset the
- 23:40Speaker 1: Islamist that support, you know, support the Iatola.
- 23:44Speaker 2: By the way, quick question, what painting did Jeffrey Epstein
- 23:48Speaker 2: have hanging in his living room in New York City?
- 23:51Speaker 1: It was Bill Clinton in a blue dress, isn't that right?
- 23:54Speaker 2: And red pumps. He literally had a painting of Bill
- 23:57Speaker 2: Clinton on his wall. He was an original friend of Bill.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Bill Clinton practically had his own seat on the Louit
- 24:03Speaker 2: Lead Express. And yet the Democrats just scream, okay, let's
- 24:07Speaker 2: let's just call Trumpet pedophile. It's pure, but the citicism
- 24:11Speaker 2: of it, the cynicism of it, is only works because
- 24:16Speaker 2: the media is corrupt. Let's listen to what else this
- 24:18Speaker 2: Democrat saidate candidate had.
- 24:20Speaker 4: To say, Like we have the moral high ground here.
- 24:22Speaker 4: I think the more we stay out is like they're
- 24:24Speaker 4: going to try and dat us into saying yeah, but
- 24:26Speaker 4: isn't it justified now that they took him out right?
- 24:29Speaker 1: And I just think, well, we gotta prep for it.
- 24:33Speaker 1: We gotta prep for taking out a murderous terrorist in
- 24:38Speaker 1: Iran that says he wants to blow up and kill
- 24:40Speaker 1: innocent Americans who already has and Israel and they're like,
- 24:43Speaker 1: we gotta prep for this, guys, this is a big
- 24:45Speaker 1: pr nightmare for us. What are we gonna do now?
- 24:48Speaker 2: Well, there is one other Democrat strategy. One they scream
- 24:51Speaker 2: pedophile and attack Trump. But there's a second Democrat strategy
- 24:54Speaker 2: because if they don't want to actually talk about protecting
- 24:56Speaker 2: America and killing terrorists, what they do instead is is
- 25:01Speaker 2: their old their old refuge. Well again, listen, rather than
- 25:05Speaker 2: let me characterize it, I mean that talking about doing
- 25:09Speaker 2: this and Israel's issue always just makes me a little nervous.
- 25:14Speaker 4: I figured as much I can, I can, I can
- 25:17Speaker 4: shade away from it. But when I say if I'm
- 25:19Speaker 4: going to take the shot. I can't just allude to it.
- 25:21Speaker 4: I got to take the whole shot, which means that
- 25:23Speaker 4: I'm gonna say, look, you've got a path backed homors
- 25:27Speaker 4: people who now don't want this to empower Congress to
- 25:31Speaker 4: step up and enforce its own prerogative. Yeah, ask yourself
- 25:35Speaker 4: who that benefits and why? Ask yourself how powerful that
- 25:39Speaker 4: force is in our politics if they won't even stand
- 25:41Speaker 4: up to a president who's making illegal and unjustified war.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Yeah, making illegal war in order to distract.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Us, you know.
- 25:50Speaker 5: Yeah, Yeah, I think that I think it's that shot
- 25:52Speaker 5: is fine. I just think that it should always be
- 25:55Speaker 5: coupled with the affordability argument. Like I think the danger
- 25:58Speaker 5: here is just getting too caught up in the like
- 26:00Speaker 5: high level politics of it and not not spending enough
- 26:04Speaker 5: time without machine.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Gonna come up with what's her name with Welch.
- 26:10Speaker 4: Yes, Well, she's going to be hot on this, and
- 26:12Speaker 4: she's gonna she's going to bade me into the Israel stuff.
- 26:17Speaker 4: And if I'm going to take the shot, I gotta
- 26:19Speaker 4: set up. I gotta set up the whole shot. That's
- 26:21Speaker 4: the thing, you know what I mean? Like, look, I'm
- 26:23Speaker 4: running against an a Pack backed Democratic congressman, and you
- 26:28Speaker 4: know what her statement was, We're perfectly okay with this war.
- 26:31Speaker 4: She should have ASTs first.
- 26:33Speaker 1: It's amazing how much sustain he has, by the way,
- 26:35Speaker 1: for Jewish people in Israel, right, like just you can
- 26:38Speaker 1: hear it there in his voice. He's like, look, we're gonna.
- 26:40Speaker 2: His strategy is simple, attack Israel, attack the Jews, like
- 26:44Speaker 2: that is his strategy. And you know what, in Dearborn,
- 26:47Speaker 2: the same people who is he put it her quote
- 26:50Speaker 2: sad that the Ayatola who chanted death to America is
- 26:54Speaker 2: no longer able to pay terrorists to kill Americans. Those
- 26:58Speaker 2: are the same people that when you attack Israel and
- 27:00Speaker 2: attack Jews, they get excited and vote for you. And
- 27:03Speaker 2: you know, you know what's really terrifying. That may be
- 27:06Speaker 2: a winning strategy in a Democrat primary in Michigan, and
- 27:08Speaker 2: obviously was a winning strategy in a Democrat primary in
- 27:12Speaker 2: New York City. It was a winning strategy for Ilhan Omar,
- 27:15Speaker 2: It was a winning strategy for AOC, It was a
- 27:18Speaker 2: winning strategy for Rashida Talib. This is the base of
- 27:21Speaker 2: the Democrat Party. And if you have any serious question
- 27:26Speaker 2: about how do you protect America against radical Islamic terrorists
- 27:30Speaker 2: who want to kill us. Yeah, like the Hesbala terrorist
- 27:34Speaker 2: in Michigan that we started this podcast talking about today's
- 27:38Speaker 2: Democrat party has nothing to say about it.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Nothing. I want to move to this last story. It
- 27:44Speaker 1: is April first, April fools. But this story is not
- 27:48Speaker 1: a joke. We're not Babylon being you hear, Senator. This
- 27:51Speaker 1: is actually a real story that has come out and
- 27:55Speaker 1: it's amazing from the Washington Post talking about the Iran
- 27:59Speaker 1: conflick showing why energy dominance is so important. You can't
- 28:05Speaker 1: make this up. I mean wow.
- 28:08Speaker 2: So this is a real editorial in the Washington Post,
- 28:12Speaker 2: and it's an editorial from the paper itself. It's not
- 28:14Speaker 2: a guest columnist. It is entitled three Cautionary Tales from
- 28:19Speaker 2: the Iran Energy Shock. Never confuse good intentions with good planning.
- 28:25Speaker 2: And here's what the Washington Post Editorial Board has to say.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Roughly twenty eight million tons of liquefied natural gas have
- 28:31Speaker 2: disappeared from global markets since the closure of the Strait
- 28:34Speaker 2: of Hormuz and damage to Cutter's export terminals. Analysts predict
- 28:39Speaker 2: the shortfall could last years. While every energy importer will
- 28:44Speaker 2: feel the pinch, not every one of them will feel
- 28:46Speaker 2: it equally. Germany, Taiwan, and California are cautionary tales. All
- 28:54Speaker 2: three have had their politics shaped by green movements, and
- 28:58Speaker 2: all three are more or vulnerable for it. When environmentalists
- 29:02Speaker 2: came to power, they forced the premature retirement of nuclear reactors,
- 29:07Speaker 2: coal plants, and oil refineries. They calculated that the planet's
- 29:11Speaker 2: needs demanded it, and that global markets would fill the gap.
- 29:15Speaker 2: All three polities are now frantically reversing course, but energy
- 29:21Speaker 2: sources can't be rebuilt over night. Germany's Green Party was
- 29:26Speaker 2: founded in nineteen eighty as an anti nuclear movement. When
- 29:29Speaker 2: it first entered coalition government in nineteen ninety eight, its
- 29:32Speaker 2: price of admission was nuclear phase out. It re entered
- 29:37Speaker 2: government in twenty twenty one, in time to oversee the
- 29:40Speaker 2: shuddering of Germany's last three reactors in twenty twenty three.
- 29:44Speaker 2: The Greens also pioneered the phasing out of the country's
- 29:48Speaker 2: coal plants. That Germany sits atop thirty five billion tons.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Billion tons of lignite did not enter into their calculations.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Germany bet big on solar and wind, but intermittent renewables
- 30:04Speaker 2: can't ensure a consistent supply that left LL ANDNG filling
- 30:09Speaker 2: the gap. Last week, Energy Minister Katharina Reisch called the
- 30:13Speaker 2: nuclear shut down quote a huge mistake. With spot prices
- 30:19Speaker 2: for LNG sharply up. The government is now looking at
- 30:23Speaker 2: restoring coal plants it retired in the past. Germany has
- 30:29Speaker 2: imported nuclear generated electricity from France when squeezed, soho noticed
- 30:33Speaker 2: the Green Party. The effect of them is to go
- 30:36Speaker 2: back to coal generation into increase pollution. All right, Let's
- 30:41Speaker 2: continue and see what the Washington Post has to say
- 30:43Speaker 2: about Taiwan. Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party codified anti nuclear dogma
- 30:50Speaker 2: into its founding charter in nineteen eighty six. Its arch rival,
- 30:54Speaker 2: the nationalist and at the time authoritarian Kumanting Kua Mantang,
- 31:00Speaker 2: wisely built nuclear power plants as part of a breakneck
- 31:04Speaker 2: industrialization program. When the DPP won power in twenty sixteen,
- 31:10Speaker 2: it legislated a quote nuclear Free Homeland and began retiring
- 31:15Speaker 2: the country's coal plants. Phasing out coal made sense, replacing
- 31:20Speaker 2: nuclear with LNG much less so. Like Germany, Taiwan can't
- 31:26Speaker 2: rely solely on renewables. Taiwan has virtually no domestic fossil fuels,
- 31:33Speaker 2: and without nuclear it has to import ninety seven percent
- 31:38Speaker 2: of its energy by c Last week, the DPP reversed
- 31:43Speaker 2: course and announced plans to restart the reactors. All right,
- 31:47Speaker 2: how about the People's Republic of California, led by Comrade
- 31:51Speaker 2: Gavin Newsom. In California, environmental regulations have achieved something remarkable.
- 31:59Speaker 2: They have seven ver the state's gasoline market from the
- 32:02Speaker 2: rest of the country. Unique fuel blend mandates mean no
- 32:06Speaker 2: other state's gasoline is compatible with Californias. Other onerous regulations,
- 32:12Speaker 2: emission fines, profit caps, drilling restrictions have driven refiners out,
- 32:19Speaker 2: and there are no inbound pipelines for crude or refined products.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Now gas is approaching six dollars a gallon YEP with
- 32:33Speaker 2: no domestic replacement, California became dependent on gasoline imports from
- 32:39Speaker 2: Asian refineries, which are now cutting shipments because the Strait
- 32:44Speaker 2: of Hormuz is closed. As Chevron's refining chief Andy Waltz
- 32:48Speaker 2: recently put it, quote, the California intent to offshore carbon
- 32:52Speaker 2: to other nations has offshored their security of supply. Chevron
- 32:58Speaker 2: has warned that it could leave calib entirely within a
- 33:01Speaker 2: decade unless regulations change. By the way, Chevron was a
- 33:05Speaker 2: California company. They moved to Texas in the last year
- 33:08Speaker 2: because the California Loonies drove them out. And here's what
- 33:13Speaker 2: the Washington Post closes with. The error in Germany, Taiwan
- 33:19Speaker 2: and California was confusing good intentions with good planning and
- 33:24Speaker 2: assuming a stable global energy market would always be there
- 33:28Speaker 2: to paper over the difference. The Iran war shows it won't.
- 33:33Speaker 2: The government's best situated to whether this energy shock are
- 33:37Speaker 2: not the greenest, but the ones that treated energy as
- 33:40Speaker 2: a national security interest and diversified their supply responsibly. I'm
- 33:46Speaker 2: going to say something I don't know that I've ever
- 33:48Speaker 2: said before. I agree wholeheartedly with the Washington Post.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Yeah, you and I both on that one. It's a
- 33:54Speaker 1: great way to end this show. Don't forget, and it's
- 33:56Speaker 1: not in April fools. It's not in April fools. It's
- 34:00Speaker 1: not the Babylon b Don't Forget. We do the show Monday,
- 34:03Speaker 1: Wednesday and Friday. You can also watch it on YouTube
