Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Trump’s Strike, Media’s Spin over Iran’s Nuclear Fallout plus 15 Iranian Nationals Arrested
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: There is one thing that is very clear about the
- 0:04Speaker 1: ceasefire agreement with Israel in Iran, and also the fact
- 0:08Speaker 1: that America hit Iran's nuclear program the way they did.
- 0:12Speaker 1: The media doesn't want to admit that it was successful.
- 0:15Speaker 1: In fact, they've now gone into overdrive to say that
- 0:18Speaker 1: the Iran nuclear program was in fact not decapitated, and
- 0:22Speaker 1: it was just merely put back maybe days, weeks, or
- 0:25Speaker 1: possibly months, but it's still intact. This is the new
- 0:31Speaker 1: line that you're seeing across almost every one of the
- 0:34Speaker 1: mainstream media channels. I'll give you a great example, NBC
- 0:38Speaker 1: News starting their nightly broadcasts with this piece of propaganda.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Tonight, President Trump in the Netherlands for the NATO summit,
- 0:47Speaker 2: wielding a diplomatic win on the world stage with a
- 0:50Speaker 2: tenuous ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Still holding the ceasefire is very much in effective, and
- 0:57Speaker 3: I think we're going to keep it there for a
- 0:58Speaker 3: long time.
- 1:00Speaker 2: That had projected more confidence that the US air strikes
- 1:03Speaker 2: on three Iranian nuclear sites, which included B two bombers
- 1:07Speaker 2: fourteen bunker buster bombs, delivered a fateful blow. Photos before
- 1:12Speaker 2: and after appear to show significant destruction at the sites. However,
- 1:16Speaker 2: in a new development tonight, a preliminary assessment by the
- 1:19Speaker 2: Defense Intelligence Agency estimates that the Iranian nuclear program has
- 1:24Speaker 2: been delayed by three to six months, According to three
- 1:28Speaker 2: people with knowledge of the report, The White House disputes
- 1:31Speaker 2: that initial assessment, calling it flat out wrong.
- 1:34Speaker 3: Roan will never rebuild it from there, Absolutely not. That
- 1:38Speaker 3: place is under rock, that place is demolished. The big
- 1:42Speaker 3: two pilots did.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Their job, and this tonight from the director of the
- 1:45Speaker 2: UN's Nuclear watchdog, what.
- 1:47Speaker 4: We see is a very important degree of damage. The
- 1:50Speaker 4: Iranian nuclear program has been set back significantly.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Still, his all cap style of diplomacy under stress tonight,
- 1:59Speaker 2: the red carpet European welcome, quite a contrast to the
- 2:03Speaker 2: blunt and profane way he left Washington today furious over
- 2:07Speaker 2: additional strikes by both Israel and Iran after he outlined
- 2:11Speaker 2: his ceasefire plan.
- 2:12Speaker 3: We basically have two countries that have been fighting so
- 2:16Speaker 3: long and so hard that they don't know what they're.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Doing on behind the scenes, a senior White House official says.
- 2:23Speaker 2: The President over the past forty eight hours had cold
- 2:26Speaker 2: netnya who with a clear demand no more war than
- 2:30Speaker 2: a trio of top officials, Vance, Rubio and Whitkoff were
- 2:34Speaker 2: directed to reach out to Iran to deliver the message
- 2:37Speaker 2: that a ceasefire was expected. And here at the NATO summit,
- 2:41Speaker 2: the President shifts to a broader agenda of diplomacy and
- 2:45Speaker 2: Kelly joins us.
- 2:46Speaker 5: Now live, Kelly, let's go back to that initial assessment
- 2:48Speaker 5: of the damage to Run's nuclear sites. You have more
- 2:51Speaker 5: reporting on the White House reaction, and.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Tom, the White House is effectively saying hold on. The
- 2:57Speaker 2: Pentagon is still examining the consequences of this. Also tonight,
- 3:01Speaker 2: we're learning that for the first time, lawmakers had been
- 3:03Speaker 2: able to see some of the analysis by intelligence agencies
- 3:08Speaker 2: that is secure, and they were able to do that
- 3:10Speaker 2: in a secure location, and that is a new development.
- 3:13Speaker 1: So you can hear the media, they're just straight up
- 3:16Speaker 1: hoping that this was a failure. NBC News spending that
- 3:19Speaker 1: entire two and a half minutes trying to tell you
- 3:21Speaker 1: that the intel reports at Rand's nuclear program is in
- 3:24Speaker 1: fact not destroyed, that Donald Trump doesn't know what he's
- 3:28Speaker 1: talking about, that this was basically a minor strike against
- 3:32Speaker 1: Iran's nuclear program, over and over again. Move over to CNN,
- 3:37Speaker 1: And what were they saying at CNN about the same
- 3:39Speaker 1: exact issue. Well, Congressman Mike Turner saying this about CNN
- 3:44Speaker 1: as he was questioned on the intelligence. Remember many of
- 3:47Speaker 1: them were briefed on it in Congress today. Here is
- 3:50Speaker 1: how that went down, after CNN all day portraying that
- 3:53Speaker 1: Trump wasn't able to end a Rand's nuclear program.
- 3:57Speaker 6: The battle damage assessment, which I think is up on
- 3:59Speaker 6: a couple of right now.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I have not given what you're laying out here.
- 4:03Speaker 6: This I think intensity of the pushback from the White
- 4:06Speaker 6: House about how this is an assessment that they don't
- 4:08Speaker 6: agree with, but it's assessment you're saying is exactly what
- 4:11Speaker 6: you expected or what it should have been.
- 4:13Speaker 7: We're just I've not seen it. So again, you're you know,
- 4:17Speaker 7: and it's what you're reporting on is the leak of it.
- 4:19Speaker 7: So even even what you're saying, you know, we can't
- 4:23Speaker 7: accept that the basis of your report is really what
- 4:27Speaker 7: it says. I believe that we have to accept that
- 4:32Speaker 7: because these are as the President has said, precision strikes,
- 4:36Speaker 7: and as the IE has the International Atomic Energy has said,
- 4:39Speaker 7: and as we all know, there are thirty sites that
- 4:42Speaker 7: Iran has There are additional sites that are going to
- 4:45Speaker 7: have other nuclear materials, and we don't know what we
- 4:49Speaker 7: don't know. We don't know where Iran has moved things.
- 4:51Speaker 7: We don't know what where they have had perhaps other
- 4:54Speaker 7: Colndestine operations. We're going to have to find out what
- 4:58Speaker 7: other threats and risk there are are from Iran.
- 5:01Speaker 6: The presidents ever mentioned that something could be moved. I
- 5:03Speaker 6: think the Vice President was talking about enricheranium over the
- 5:07Speaker 6: weekend and the possibility of not knowing exactly where that
- 5:09Speaker 6: is going forward. Look again, I consider you, and you've
- 5:14Speaker 6: always been an honest broker with me in our conversations.
- 5:17Speaker 6: The idea that the President has not framed this as
- 5:20Speaker 6: a significant victory that more or less puts an end
- 5:25Speaker 6: to Iron's nuclear program.
- 5:28Speaker 7: I think he's putting words.
- 5:29Speaker 2: In his mouth.
- 5:29Speaker 6: I do not think I didn't say I was directly
- 5:31Speaker 6: quoting him.
- 5:31Speaker 3: I'm saying exactly like that all day.
- 5:33Speaker 7: That is how CNN has portrayed that, and I do
- 5:35Speaker 7: believe that is absolutely I.
- 5:38Speaker 6: Think the president right now, if the President were to
- 5:40Speaker 6: talk about this, he would acknowledge, Look, we have no
- 5:42Speaker 6: idea where uh the enricheranium is at this point in time,
- 5:46Speaker 6: there was no expectation that we were ever going to
- 5:48Speaker 6: knock out the entire nuclear program.
- 5:50Speaker 7: There's likely don't think it's I don't think it's I
- 5:52Speaker 7: don't think it's necessary for the president to say what
- 5:54Speaker 7: you're saying. I think it is absolutely the President has
- 5:58Speaker 7: taken an credible, active leadership that no other president has taken.
- 6:03Speaker 7: World leaders have seen him take a decisive action that
- 6:06Speaker 7: has made the world safe. The head of NATO, other
- 6:10Speaker 7: world leaders understand that the action that he has taken
- 6:14Speaker 7: was absolutely a step that changes the Middle East, and
- 6:21Speaker 7: it changes the dynamics of the world, and it stops
- 6:24Speaker 7: a rogue nation from publicly enriching uranium and on its
- 6:29Speaker 7: way breathtaking lya toward a nuclear weapon that would have
- 6:32Speaker 7: changed I mean they could. They were developing an ICBM,
- 6:35Speaker 7: They could hit Washington, DC, they were developing missile technology
- 6:38Speaker 7: that could hit Paris in London. They were a threat
- 6:41Speaker 7: to the world. And Donald Trump took action to derail
- 6:47Speaker 7: that that regime. That is incredibly important. There are steps
- 6:52Speaker 7: yet to be taken. We'll see where that goes.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Congers and Turner, I couldn't agree with him more there
- 6:58Speaker 1: exactly like that all. This is how CNN has portrayed that,
- 7:02Speaker 1: and I do believe that that is absolutely not true
- 7:06Speaker 1: what you're reporting. You listen to CNN, you go back
- 7:10Speaker 1: to NBC Nightly News, you go back to all the
- 7:13Speaker 1: Democrats out there. They actually are wanting Iran to have
- 7:18Speaker 1: a nuclear weapon so they can then say, see Donald
- 7:22Speaker 1: Trump failed. Can you think about how messed up that
- 7:27Speaker 1: actually is. I mean, it's the level of insanity of
- 7:33Speaker 1: hatred towards Donald Trump to the point where for you
- 7:37Speaker 1: to have a quote victory over Donald Trump, you're now
- 7:41Speaker 1: advocating and hoping that Iran actually has a nuclear weapon.
- 7:49Speaker 1: That's what you're wishing for, That's what you're hoping for,
- 7:54Speaker 1: so that you can score points on the President of
- 7:57Speaker 1: the United States of America. And that is your thing, Like,
- 8:01Speaker 1: that's what you want to happen and to come out
- 8:03Speaker 1: of this. It's I've said this before and I'll say
- 8:07Speaker 1: it again. You don't hate the liberal media enough because
- 8:10Speaker 1: this is what they do. Like, you do not hate
- 8:14Speaker 1: the liberal media enough because over and over and over again,
- 8:21Speaker 1: when they can actually advocate or cheer for American success,
- 8:27Speaker 1: what do they do. No, no, no, no, they say, we're
- 8:30Speaker 1: playing politics, folks. We can't actually say that something that
- 8:34Speaker 1: Donald Trump did made it safer. That's something we can't do. No, no, no, no,
- 8:38Speaker 1: we cannot do that. We're going to say it was
- 8:42Speaker 1: a failure and hope that Iran is winning just so
- 8:46Speaker 1: we score points. It is sick. I don't want to
- 8:50Speaker 1: go back into something that we had mentioned earlier, and
- 8:53Speaker 1: that is about the sleeper cell concerns in this country.
- 8:57Speaker 1: We now know that at least five more Iranian nationals
- 9:01Speaker 1: were arrested on Monday, in addition to eleven that were
- 9:05Speaker 1: announced by the Department of Home and Security on Tuesday morning.
- 9:09Speaker 1: On Monday, a forty five year old, for example, was
- 9:12Speaker 1: arrested by officers in Baltimore and given a third county notice.
- 9:18Speaker 1: He was previously criminally convicted of assault with a deadly
- 9:21Speaker 1: weapon or force likely to produce great bodily harm, where
- 9:26Speaker 1: he was sentenced to just under a year behind bars.
- 9:28Speaker 1: And we can get into that in a moment. It's insane,
- 9:32Speaker 1: but this goes back to how many people were let
- 9:36Speaker 1: into this country that came from Iran that wished to
- 9:40Speaker 1: do harm to this country. Fox News Channel having an
- 9:43Speaker 1: extensive report on that. Take a listen.
- 9:48Speaker 8: Concern about our safety here at home. In the wake
- 9:51Speaker 8: of the strikes on Iran's nuclear sites, breaking news today,
- 9:55Speaker 8: Immigration and Customs agents announced they have arrested fifteen illegal
- 9:59Speaker 8: Iranian immigrants since Sunday. One of them admitted to ties
- 10:03Speaker 8: to Hesbellah in Lebanon. A law enforcement source told Fox
- 10:08Speaker 8: News the FBI is closely watching for any Iranian back
- 10:11Speaker 8: sleeper agents in the wake of Operation Midnight Hammer. During
- 10:14Speaker 8: the Biden administration, border agents arrested more than one thousand,
- 10:17Speaker 8: five hundred Iranians who entered illegally at our southern border.
- 10:22Speaker 8: They let nearly half of them go. President Trump on
- 10:27Speaker 8: that this morning.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Biden led a lot of supercells, that Biden was an
- 10:32Speaker 3: ad competent president, had no idea what he was doing.
- 10:35Speaker 3: He let a lot of supercells in, many from Iran.
- 10:39Speaker 3: But hopefully we'll take care of them. What Biden did
- 10:43Speaker 3: to this country should never be forgotten.
- 10:46Speaker 8: Justice correspondent David Spunt is in Washington.
- 10:49Speaker 5: David well Harris the news about the fifteen Iranian nationals
- 10:52Speaker 5: coming illegally into the US. There's no surprise to the
- 10:54Speaker 5: people at the Justice Department, the FBI, and of course
- 10:57Speaker 5: the Department of Homeland Security. According to authority, one of
- 11:00Speaker 5: them has ties to HESBLA. Another is an alleged former
- 11:03Speaker 5: sniper for the Iranian Army. At a budget hearing yesterday,
- 11:06Speaker 5: Attorney General Pam Bondi said the number of Iranians illegally
- 11:10Speaker 5: in the United States continues to grow since.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Well over one thousand have entered our country, and I
- 11:17Speaker 4: can tell you we are on high alert and everyone
- 11:19Speaker 4: is looking at that.
- 11:21Speaker 9: Very closely now.
- 11:23Speaker 5: She says, budget cuts won't affect the overall mission. DOOJ
- 11:25Speaker 5: and the FBI continue to focus on threats toward President
- 11:28Speaker 5: Trump himself as a result of his ordering of the
- 11:31Speaker 5: killing of this man, General Kasim Solomani in January twenty twenty,
- 11:36Speaker 5: assassination plots originating in Iran not only toward President Trump,
- 11:40Speaker 5: but to US residents who once lived in Iran. DHS
- 11:44Speaker 5: Secretary of Christy nome seening there yesterday, was asked about
- 11:47Speaker 5: sleeper cells in the United States. Those are groups of
- 11:50Speaker 5: people who live among us in the US quietly until
- 11:55Speaker 5: order to act.
- 11:56Speaker 10: We've seen some from overseas and some that have been
- 11:59Speaker 10: here maybe gone overseas for a short period of time,
- 12:01Speaker 10: become radicalized.
- 12:02Speaker 8: And come back, or individuals that are right here in
- 12:04Speaker 8: the United States.
- 12:06Speaker 5: Nom held a conference call with some of the nation's
- 12:09Speaker 5: governors over the weekend of pledge federal resources to help
- 12:12Speaker 5: on the state level to combat any threats, whether federal
- 12:15Speaker 5: or local. Attorney General Bondi back in front of lawmakers
- 12:18Speaker 5: tomorrow to talk about the DOJ budget. But you could
- 12:20Speaker 5: expect some of these topics also will likely come up.
- 12:25Speaker 1: If you go back to the list of the individuals
- 12:27Speaker 1: that have been arrested and what they've been arrested for.
- 12:30Speaker 1: One of the ones I mentioned earlier was out of Atlanta,
- 12:33Speaker 1: an individual that was arrested in Alabama. And this was
- 12:37Speaker 1: a guy that served as an Iranian Army sniper. Now
- 12:41Speaker 1: he didn't serve as an Iranian Army sniper like twenty
- 12:44Speaker 1: years ago. The individual served as an Iranian Army sniper
- 12:49Speaker 1: from twenty eighteen to twenty twenty one, and at the
- 12:54Speaker 1: time of his arrests in America, he was in possession.
- 12:59Speaker 1: He had a Islamic Republic Army identification card on his person.
- 13:06Speaker 1: All right, if you don't want to be involved in that,
- 13:08Speaker 1: why would you have it on your person. You go
- 13:12Speaker 1: to another example, Ice in Houston. They arrested another Iranian there.
- 13:18Speaker 1: When they arrested him, he was carrying a loaded nine
- 13:22Speaker 1: millimeter pistol. They arrested him, by the way in seventeen
- 13:27Speaker 1: in Harris County, that is Houston, Texas. The police arrested
- 13:32Speaker 1: him for assaulting a family member and impeding breathing, meaning
- 13:38Speaker 1: you're strangling someone. You also go to another person in Houston,
- 13:45Speaker 1: another Iranian national. An immigration judge had ordered him removed
- 13:49Speaker 1: nearly twenty years ago, on August fourth of two and five.
- 13:53Speaker 1: He's been twice convicted of drug crimes and one's convicted
- 13:56Speaker 1: driving on a suspended license. He's still in America. There's
- 14:00Speaker 1: problems here. There's another example of this. A man in
- 14:04Speaker 1: Arizona arrested again another Iranian. He had a final order
- 14:09Speaker 1: of removal. He was convicted of threatening a law enforcement
- 14:14Speaker 1: officer and being an alien in possession of a firearm.
- 14:18Speaker 1: So these are as the President would describe it bot
- 14:21Speaker 1: own brace right. You have officials that arrested another man
- 14:25Speaker 1: that was in the country illegally from Iran. The man
- 14:28Speaker 1: threatened to open fire on ICE officials if they entered
- 14:32Speaker 1: her home, and then she would go outside and shoot
- 14:35Speaker 1: Ice officers in the head quote unquote, So it's not
- 14:39Speaker 1: just men, it's also women. You had another twenty two
- 14:43Speaker 1: year old in Mississippi, an Iranian national and former lawful
- 14:47Speaker 1: permanent resident. Well guess what. He lied on his original
- 14:50Speaker 1: visa application and committed potential marriage fraud as well. This
- 14:55Speaker 1: is a guy who quote is listed as a known
- 14:58Speaker 1: or suspected terrorist. He's now an ice custody pitning removal.
- 15:03Speaker 1: You have another man in Colorado, an individual after a
- 15:08Speaker 1: judge had already ordered him to be removed. His criminal
- 15:10Speaker 1: history includes state and federal convictions for drug crimes and
- 15:14Speaker 1: arrests for assault and child abuse. No big deal, right,
- 15:19Speaker 1: totally fine. You got a man in Saint Paul a
- 15:23Speaker 1: man that was fifty six year old Iranian national. He's
- 15:26Speaker 1: been convicted of being a felon in possession of a
- 15:28Speaker 1: firearm in Minneapolis. He was sentenced to fifteen months in prison.
- 15:32Speaker 1: He's also a former member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard
- 15:37Speaker 1: with admitted connections directly to Hezballah. You got another guy
- 15:42Speaker 1: in San Francisco, sixty two year old Iranian national with
- 15:45Speaker 1: a criminal history that includes a conviction for petty theft
- 15:49Speaker 1: and a conviction of possession of a controlled substance for sale.
- 15:53Speaker 1: He was sent to ten years in state prison for
- 15:55Speaker 1: drug conviction and now he's in ice custody. Or go
- 15:59Speaker 1: to Buffalo, you've got another Iranian national there and a
- 16:04Speaker 1: man convicted of grand larceny, schemes to defraud, criminal impersonation
- 16:09Speaker 1: and practicing as an attorney. Another example of the people
- 16:13Speaker 1: that they're taking off the streets. So when you look
- 16:17Speaker 1: at what we are now witnessing, it is very clear
- 16:20Speaker 1: that there are real people in this country that are
- 16:23Speaker 1: trying to do harm to this country that were let
- 16:25Speaker 1: in under the last administration. That is obvious. The last
- 16:30Speaker 1: administration knew that these people were coming into this country,
- 16:34Speaker 1: and they just didn't care. They wanted to flood the
- 16:39Speaker 1: country with as many illegal immigrants as they possibly could,
- 16:43Speaker 1: and they just didn't care who was coming in, how
- 16:48Speaker 1: they were getting in this country. It didn't matter. And
- 16:51Speaker 1: that's incredibly sad. Let me also say one other final
- 16:55Speaker 1: thing here. I expect this to get worse before it
- 16:59Speaker 1: gets better, with a number of legal immigrants that we're
- 17:02Speaker 1: going to find that are a real threat to our
- 17:04Speaker 1: national security, and we should do everything we can to
- 17:08Speaker 1: support and advocate for ice and this administration to find
- 17:13Speaker 1: them wherever they have to in the country. There is
- 17:17Speaker 1: a massive ceasefire that we all now know about, and
- 17:21Speaker 1: it is a historic moment for the President of the
- 17:24Speaker 1: United States of America who said, I do not want
- 17:26Speaker 1: regime change, I do not want to take out the
- 17:29Speaker 1: leader in Iran. I do want to make sure that
- 17:32Speaker 1: we are safe and that they never receive nuclear weapons. Well,
- 17:37Speaker 1: you put that in contrast with what the media wanted,
- 17:40Speaker 1: and my ow Mai is at a very different story.
- 17:44Speaker 1: We know the mainstream media hates Donald Trump. We know
- 17:47Speaker 1: that they care more about him being a failure than
- 17:49Speaker 1: they do about the success of making sure that our
- 17:52Speaker 1: foreign policy keeps Americans and others safe around the world.
- 17:56Speaker 1: But if you need a moment to highlight exis exactly
- 18:00Speaker 1: how biased the media is and exactly how much they
- 18:04Speaker 1: hate Donald Trump and how much they would rather Trump
- 18:08Speaker 1: fail than there'd be success and safety and security for
- 18:11Speaker 1: the United States America, then you just need to listen
- 18:14Speaker 1: to what I'm going to play for you right now. Now.
- 18:16Speaker 1: What I'm about to play for you was on CNN,
- 18:19Speaker 1: right the most trusted name in news, and it was
- 18:22Speaker 1: an embarrassing moment. If you were watching it, I hope
- 18:26Speaker 1: you share this everywhere because CNN gets word that Iran
- 18:31Speaker 1: has accepted the cease fire deal just seconds after Caitlin
- 18:37Speaker 1: Collins sets up a narrative casting doubt on Donald Trump. Yes,
- 18:42Speaker 1: this happened in real time. No, this is not me
- 18:46Speaker 1: putting two different segments together from different parts of the day.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I want you to listen to this to the very end.
- 18:53Speaker 1: You really can't make this up. And I mean this,
- 18:57Speaker 1: you cannot hate the liberal media enough.
- 19:00Speaker 10: Now we're hearing incredibly optimistic views coming out of the
- 19:02Speaker 10: White House as far as how long this can hold
- 19:04Speaker 10: and what this is going to look like. That obviously
- 19:07Speaker 10: still remains to be seen on the implementation side of this,
- 19:10Speaker 10: and waiting to see if the firing does stop and
- 19:12Speaker 10: if Iran and Israel do both agree to this. Because
- 19:15Speaker 10: you speaking of the fluidity of the situation, it was
- 19:18Speaker 10: just twenty four hours ago that President Trump himself was
- 19:21Speaker 10: suggesting a regime change in Iran was a possibility, and
- 19:24Speaker 10: obviously right before that having the United States strike Iran
- 19:28Speaker 10: and so yes, there have been a lot of phone
- 19:30Speaker 10: calls going back and forth. In part this has to
- 19:32Speaker 10: do with Iran's limited response earlier where they fired on
- 19:35Speaker 10: a US bas in Qatar, but there were no casualties.
- 19:39Speaker 10: We know that they did give a heads up that
- 19:41Speaker 10: they were going to be firing on US Bass without
- 19:43Speaker 10: exactly specifying which ones. But that is the question here
- 19:47Speaker 10: is if the United States felt that it did not
- 19:50Speaker 10: need to respond to the Iranian retaliation, did that create
- 19:53Speaker 10: the space for this That is what we've been hearing
- 19:56Speaker 10: from administration officials, and so the question is whether or
- 19:59Speaker 10: not this still for the next few hours.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Caitlin I just could have been given a word that Iran,
- 20:04Speaker 4: according to a diplomat who brief CNN, iron has agreed
- 20:07Speaker 4: to the ceasefire. So this is significant. I just want
- 20:12Speaker 4: to try to learn some more information as soon as
- 20:13Speaker 4: we get it about that. But if that is the case,
- 20:16Speaker 4: that's incredibly significant because that is we were waiting. We
- 20:19Speaker 4: had not heard from Ron, we had not heard from Israel.
- 20:23Speaker 4: All we were going on so far has been the
- 20:25Speaker 4: president's social media post, which was some two hours ago.
- 20:29Speaker 4: So again, that is the first indication we have that
- 20:32Speaker 4: Iran has agreed to this.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Oops right, like, you cannot make this up. And this
- 20:38Speaker 1: is the media showing you just how much they were
- 20:41Speaker 1: hoping that what Donald Trump put out would somehow not
- 20:45Speaker 1: become reality, that it would be a failure, that they
- 20:49Speaker 1: could then point to him and say he's starting World
- 20:51Speaker 1: War three. Donald Trump is putting everyone's lives at risk.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Donald Trump is the problem, and you can hear it
- 21:00Speaker 1: in real time. Now, That's not the only thing I
- 21:03Speaker 1: want to remind you about, and this goes back to
- 21:06Speaker 1: liberals that are in charge. I want to take you
- 21:09Speaker 1: back to a guy by the name of Scott Kirby.
- 21:12Speaker 1: He is a guy that was at the White House,
- 21:14Speaker 1: a guy that was there under the Biden regime. And
- 21:18Speaker 1: what did Scott Kirby say back on September the thirteenth
- 21:22Speaker 1: of twenty twenty three, And then what did he say
- 21:26Speaker 1: January fourth of twenty twenty four. Remember this, Kirby on
- 21:31Speaker 1: the sixth billion that Biden released to Iran, saying the
- 21:35Speaker 1: last administration was quote incredibly unseerious, absolutely terrible for the world.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Here is the comparing contrast of them.
- 21:45Speaker 9: The US will have visibility and we'll be able to
- 21:47Speaker 9: engage in oversight about where the money was going and
- 21:50Speaker 9: for what purpose. If Ron tries to divert the funds,
- 21:54Speaker 9: we'll take action and we'll lock him up again, and
- 21:57Speaker 9: that will be sufficient oversight to make sure that the
- 21:59Speaker 9: request is valid and that it's going through vendors who
- 22:04Speaker 9: we and the cutteries can trust will actually contract for
- 22:09Speaker 9: the goods, the medical equipment, the food, whatever it is.
- 22:11Speaker 9: The regime doesn't get to touch the money. Peter doesn't
- 22:14Speaker 9: go to them. They don't get to they don't get
- 22:17Speaker 9: to decide ultimate destination, and they have no direct access
- 22:22Speaker 9: to it. John Iron made two transactions withdrawing from the
- 22:27Speaker 9: previously frozen funds in Oman.
- 22:31Speaker 10: What were those transactions for.
- 22:33Speaker 9: I don't have the details on that, Jackie. You're gonna
- 22:36Speaker 9: have to let me get back to you on that.
- 22:38Speaker 1: There's the line, whether it's the media or whether it
- 22:42Speaker 1: was the buy and administration, they were lying to you
- 22:45Speaker 1: the entire time about what was happening with their administration,
- 22:49Speaker 1: and they were not holding around accountable. And now that
- 22:52Speaker 1: President Trump has done it, they're now furious that it
- 22:55Speaker 1: is a success and they're rooting against it every step
- 22:59Speaker 1: of the way. Which brings me to the point why
- 23:01Speaker 1: did so many Americans vote for Donald Trump? It's actually
- 23:05Speaker 1: very simple because they wanted to make sure that countries
- 23:09Speaker 1: like Iran who are a threat to United States America
- 23:12Speaker 1: are held accountable. And yet again the President made good
- 23:17Speaker 1: on his promise to the American people to protect and
- 23:20Speaker 1: defend the homeland, which brings me to the other big
- 23:24Speaker 1: point in the show, and that is what was said
- 23:28Speaker 1: on TV by JD Vance, the Vice President, moments after
- 23:33Speaker 1: Trump announced this his ceasefire between Israel and Iran. And
- 23:37Speaker 1: I want you to hear this conversation. I'm not going
- 23:39Speaker 1: to interrupt it because I think it's an important one,
- 23:42Speaker 1: and listen to what JD Van says. He's live on set.
- 23:45Speaker 1: This has been announced moments before they go to him
- 23:49Speaker 1: of this ceasefire, and here's what he had to say
- 23:51Speaker 1: to Brett Baher and the rest of the country and
- 23:53Speaker 1: really the world.
- 23:54Speaker 11: Besce President, thanks for coming.
- 23:56Speaker 8: Absolutely.
- 23:56Speaker 11: Just seconds ago, the President went to True Social and
- 24:00Speaker 11: typed this, it has been fully agreed by and between
- 24:04Speaker 11: Israel and Iran that there will be a complete and
- 24:07Speaker 11: total cease fire. Complete and total ceasefire is what he typed. Yep,
- 24:12Speaker 11: what does that mean? How did it come about? What's
- 24:15Speaker 11: the development?
- 24:16Speaker 12: Yeah, well, we were actually working on that, just as
- 24:18Speaker 12: I left the White House to come over here. So
- 24:19Speaker 12: that's good news that the President was able to get
- 24:21Speaker 12: that across the finish line. I think what it means
- 24:23Speaker 12: Brett's quite simple. First of all, the President, without knock
- 24:27Speaker 12: on wood having a single American casualty, obliterated the Iranian
- 24:32Speaker 12: nuclear program. We are now in a place where we
- 24:34Speaker 12: weren't a week ago. Week ago, Iran was very close
- 24:37Speaker 12: to having a nuclear weapon. Now Iran is incapable of
- 24:41Speaker 12: building a nuclear weapon with the equipment they have because
- 24:43Speaker 12: we destroyed it. So that's a very very big thing. Now.
- 24:47Speaker 12: What that means, I think is we have to talk
- 24:49Speaker 12: to Iran and of course to Israel about what the
- 24:51Speaker 12: future holds, because while we have obliterated the Iranian nuclear program,
- 24:55Speaker 12: our hope and our expectation is that they're not going
- 24:57Speaker 12: to try to rebuild that program. And I think that's
- 24:59Speaker 12: what the President is really trying to figure out here,
- 25:02Speaker 12: is to build a long term settlement here to where
- 25:05Speaker 12: we can have peace in the region, where our regional
- 25:08Speaker 12: allies and of course the American people most importantly can
- 25:10Speaker 12: be secured, but where we can ensure that the destruction
- 25:13Speaker 12: of the Iranian nuclear program that has already happened, is
- 25:16Speaker 12: not something they try to rebuild.
- 25:17Speaker 11: I want to get to the obliterated part in just
- 25:19Speaker 11: a minute, but I just want to read this fully
- 25:21Speaker 11: so I get the context. Congratulations to everyone that has
- 25:24Speaker 11: been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that
- 25:27Speaker 11: there will be a complete and total ceasefire in approximately
- 25:30Speaker 11: six hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound
- 25:33Speaker 11: down and completed their in progress final missions for twelve hours,
- 25:37Speaker 11: at which point the ceasefire for twelve hours, at which
- 25:39Speaker 11: point the war will be considered ended. Officially. Iran will
- 25:43Speaker 11: start the ceasefire, and upon the twelfth hour, our Israel
- 25:46Speaker 11: will start the ceasefire, and upon the twenty fourth hour,
- 25:48Speaker 11: an official end to the twelve day war will be
- 25:50Speaker 11: saluted by the world. During each ceasefire, the other side
- 25:54Speaker 11: will remain peaceful and respectful on the assumption that everything
- 25:57Speaker 11: works as it should, which it will. I would like
- 25:59Speaker 11: to congrat both countries, Israel and Iran and having the stamina, courage,
- 26:03Speaker 11: and intelligence to end what should be called.
- 26:05Speaker 12: The twelve Day War.
- 26:06Speaker 11: This is a war that could have gone on for
- 26:08Speaker 11: years and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn't
- 26:11Speaker 11: and never will God bless Israel, God bless Iran. God,
- 26:14Speaker 11: God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless
- 26:17Speaker 11: the United States of America, and God bless the world.
- 26:20Speaker 11: And when you left the White House, were you thinking
- 26:22Speaker 11: this was all gelling here?
- 26:24Speaker 12: When I left the White House, I thought that we
- 26:26Speaker 12: might be able to get it across the finish line
- 26:28Speaker 12: before this broadcast. And it looks like the President has
- 26:30Speaker 12: been able to do that. I mean, look, he's been
- 26:31Speaker 12: working the phones constantly, frankly before the Twelve Day War started,
- 26:35Speaker 12: but certainly over the past twelve days. The President's been
- 26:38Speaker 12: extremely clear about America's national objective here. It is to
- 26:42Speaker 12: create a world where a Ran cannot build a nuclear weapon.
- 26:45Speaker 12: We of course destroyed the nuclear program that they had,
- 26:48Speaker 12: and the President told the entire team, We're going to
- 26:51Speaker 12: work to make sure that they don't try to rebuild
- 26:53Speaker 12: that nuclear capability in the future. And it's look, this
- 26:56Speaker 12: is a great thing for Israel. Think about this. They've
- 26:59Speaker 12: accomplished in important military objective. They've helped us destroy the
- 27:03Speaker 12: Iranian nuclear program. They've also destroyed the conventional missile capability
- 27:07Speaker 12: of Iran that threatened the country of Israel for the Iranians.
- 27:11Speaker 8: I think this is a.
- 27:11Speaker 12: New opportunity to actually pursue the path of peace. As
- 27:14Speaker 12: I said yesterday, what the Iranians have showed through their
- 27:17Speaker 12: support of terror networks, through their now failed effort to
- 27:20Speaker 12: build a nuclear weapon, is that they're just not very
- 27:23Speaker 12: good at war. And I think the President really hit
- 27:25Speaker 12: the reset button and said, look, let's actually produce long
- 27:29Speaker 12: term peace for the region. That's always been his goal.
- 27:32Speaker 12: I actually think when we look back, we will say
- 27:34Speaker 12: the twelve Day war was an important reset moment for
- 27:37Speaker 12: the entire region.
- 27:38Speaker 11: Would you be surprised if Iran is sending out signals
- 27:41Speaker 11: that it doesn't have a specific cease fire plan. How
- 27:43Speaker 11: would the communication have been with the Iranians to get
- 27:47Speaker 11: this level of confidence to put out that detailed statement.
- 27:50Speaker 12: Well, one of the things I've learned read about the
- 27:51Speaker 12: Iranians in the past four or five months that I've
- 27:54Speaker 12: been in this job is what they say publicly and
- 27:56Speaker 12: privately can sometimes be very different. I think what the
- 27:59Speaker 12: Iranians have shown very clearly is they don't want this
- 28:01Speaker 12: war to go on for much longer. Their air defenses
- 28:03Speaker 12: have been totally destroyed, and tomorrow really is a New Day,
- 28:06Speaker 12: the end of the Twelve Day War, the end of
- 28:08Speaker 12: the Iranian nuclear program, and I really do believe the
- 28:11Speaker 12: beginning of something very big for peace of the Middle East.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I think the Vice President's absolutely right the way you
- 28:16Speaker 1: put it, it is a historic moment, quite possibly for
- 28:20Speaker 1: the Middle East, and it's because of the leadership of
- 28:22Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump. Don't forget. Share this podcast with your
- 28:26Speaker 1: family and friends, share it on social media, please, and
- 28:29Speaker 1: I'll see you back here tomorrow.
