8th Street’s final stretch is here — Stage Three kicks off August 10th between Nebraska and Jackson, tearing up pavement to upgrade storm sewers and water mains, then rebuilding with fresh pavement, sidewalks, and stylish streetscaping. Started in April 2026, it’s on track to finish by October. Traffic? Detours remain on 7th, lane restrictions on Pierce and Nebraska, and signals at Pierce & 8th are being removed — but sidewalks stay open for pedestrians. The finish line is in sight.
