- 0:01Speaker 1: We've got three big stories that we're going to start
- 0:04Speaker 1: with today on the show. Number one, fireworks from the
- 0:08Speaker 1: Democrats really dropping to a disgusting and vile level of
- 0:12Speaker 1: personal attacks against Pete Headgseth.
- 0:15Speaker 2: We're going to deal with that.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Also, this came out of nowhere and the reasons behind
- 0:21Speaker 1: it are disgusting and even more sinister than you could imagine.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Joe Biden has moved to lift the state sponsor of
- 0:28Speaker 1: terrorism designation for Cuba, and he's blaming it on the
- 0:34Speaker 1: prisoners that he wants to free. I'll explain that to
- 0:38Speaker 1: you as well. And Also, Democrats uniting today apparently there's
- 0:44Speaker 1: nothing that they will do in a bipartisan manner with Republicans,
- 0:48Speaker 1: including protecting women in girls sports. The House passed to
- 0:52Speaker 1: bill banning men from competing girls sports and schools that
- 0:56Speaker 1: receive federal funding, and two hundred and six Democrats voted
- 1:01Speaker 1: against it. Democrats who apparently hate women's rights and girls'
- 1:08Speaker 1: rights in our schools. I'll break that down for you
- 1:11Speaker 1: as well. But first let's get to the fireworks and
- 1:14Speaker 1: the substance of what went on during the confirmation hearing
- 1:19Speaker 1: for Pete Edgseth to become the man in charge of
- 1:22Speaker 1: the Pentagon.
- 1:24Speaker 2: There were a couple of.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Things that I want to highlight because the media is
- 1:27Speaker 1: going to want you to see the back and forth
- 1:29Speaker 1: with the Democrats and the leaders and how nasty their
- 1:32Speaker 1: attacks were, and I'll place some of that for you.
- 1:35Speaker 1: But there were actually, I think much more important moments
- 1:39Speaker 1: that came out of this when it came to accountability
- 1:43Speaker 1: and the size of the DoD and our government and
- 1:47Speaker 1: the number of people that just make money off of
- 1:50Speaker 1: being at the Pentagon and hooking their friends up with
- 1:53Speaker 1: massive government contracts. He talked about bureaucracy is out of
- 1:57Speaker 1: control with the Pentagon, and we don't need size of
- 2:01Speaker 1: leadership that we have right now. And all of these
- 2:06Speaker 1: people they just continue to fall forward and get promotions
- 2:09Speaker 1: because they stay in forever. And he talked about the
- 2:13Speaker 1: lack of accountability with the people at the top, for
- 2:15Speaker 1: example generals, saying those days are over.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Take a listen, because everybody in this room knows.
- 2:22Speaker 3: If you're a rifleman and you lose.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Your rifle, they're throwing the book at you. But if
- 2:28Speaker 4: you're a general who loses a war, you get a
- 2:31Speaker 4: promotion that's not going to happen in Donald Trump's Kentagon.
- 2:34Speaker 4: It will be real standards for success. Everyone from the top,
- 2:39Speaker 4: from the most senior general to the most lowly private,
- 2:42Speaker 4: will ensure that they're treated fairly. Men and women inside
- 2:45Speaker 4: that system.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Now, that is why the system is so scared of
- 2:50Speaker 1: Pete because of the quote that he just gave. If
- 2:53Speaker 1: you're a rifleman and you lose your rifle, they're throwing
- 2:56Speaker 1: the book at you.
- 2:56Speaker 2: That is correct.
- 2:57Speaker 1: He's totally accurate, Like that's the easiest way to get kicked
- 2:59Speaker 1: out of military basis. If you're a general and you
- 3:01Speaker 1: lose a war, you get a promotion. He is totally
- 3:04Speaker 1: accurate in saying it the way that he just did.
- 3:07Speaker 1: He then went on and was asked another question about like, well,
- 3:10Speaker 1: what types of changes do you see here, And one
- 3:13Speaker 1: of the questions that he was asked about was the
- 3:15Speaker 1: treatment of prisoners, if we grab prisoners and Geneva Convention
- 3:21Speaker 1: getm you know, the waterboarding of terrorists, all of those
- 3:25Speaker 1: types of things. And I want you to hear what
- 3:28Speaker 1: Pete says in response and listen to, I think really
- 3:32Speaker 1: carefully how he words his answer.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Senator, how we treat our wounded, How we treat our prisoners.
- 3:38Speaker 4: The applications of the Juvina Conventions are incredibly important, but
- 3:41Speaker 4: we would all have to acknowledge.
- 3:43Speaker 3: That the way we fought our wars.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Back when the Geneva Conventions were written are a lot
- 3:47Speaker 4: different than the asymmetric, non conventional environment of counterinsurgency that
- 3:52Speaker 4: I confronted in Iraq and Afghanistan. I was the senior
- 3:54Speaker 4: counterinsurgency instructor in Afghanistan. My job was to understand how
- 3:58Speaker 4: the Taliban and Al Kaida opted so that NATO units
- 4:01Speaker 4: coming in could be informed of what was happening. They
- 4:04Speaker 4: knew our rules of engagement and when they were more restrictive,
- 4:07Speaker 4: they took advantage of them, and it put our men
- 4:09Speaker 4: and women in a more dangerous and difficult place.
- 4:12Speaker 3: You believe, for future wars we fight.
- 4:13Speaker 4: We need to have someone atop the pentagon, Sir, who
- 4:16Speaker 4: understands how those ripple effects.
- 4:18Speaker 5: I just want to understand your position. Your position is
- 4:21Speaker 5: torture is okay? Is that correct? Waterboarding? Torture is no
- 4:26Speaker 5: longer prohibited given the circumstances of whatever war we're in.
- 4:31Speaker 5: Is that correct?
- 4:32Speaker 3: Enator? That is not what I said.
- 4:34Speaker 4: I've never been party to torture. We are a country
- 4:37Speaker 4: that fights by the rule of law, and our men
- 4:40Speaker 4: and women always do, and yet we have too many
- 4:42Speaker 4: people here in air conditioned offices that like to point
- 4:46Speaker 4: fingers at the guys in dark and dangerous places, the
- 4:48Speaker 4: gals in helicopters in un enemy territory who are doing
- 4:52Speaker 4: things that people in Washington, d c. Would never dare
- 4:55Speaker 4: to do.
- 4:55Speaker 1: By the way, I couldn't agree with him more than
- 4:58Speaker 1: what he just said. There we have too many people
- 5:00Speaker 1: here in air condition offices that like to point the
- 5:03Speaker 1: finger at the guys in darkened, dangerous places, and helicopters
- 5:06Speaker 1: in any territory who are doing things people in DC
- 5:09Speaker 1: would never dare to do. He is absolutely right. I
- 5:12Speaker 1: have a different opinion, by the way, on waterboarding. I
- 5:14Speaker 1: have no problem with waterboarding. If someone like Khalid Sheik Muhammad,
- 5:17Speaker 1: the mastermind of nine to eleven, unlike the current president,
- 5:20Speaker 1: they want to give him a deal and spare his life.
- 5:22Speaker 2: That's what democrats want to do.
- 5:24Speaker 1: They want to give the terrorists lawyers that you and
- 5:27Speaker 1: I pay for. And when you mastermind nine to eleven,
- 5:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry if you need to be waterboarded for me
- 5:34Speaker 1: to get intel out of you that could save other
- 5:36Speaker 1: people's lives, and some people's lives from another nine to eleven.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I don't have an issue with that. There are others
- 5:43Speaker 1: that will discover me, and that's fine. I don't think
- 5:46Speaker 1: that what you heard there from Pete is him advocating
- 5:49Speaker 1: for waterboarding. What I'm saying is the world that the
- 5:52Speaker 1: left wants us to live in because they wanted to
- 5:54Speaker 1: score points. And if you go back to the waterboarding
- 5:56Speaker 1: controversy and you understand politics, you understand and Democrats really
- 6:01Speaker 1: weren't that angry about waterboarding terrorists. They needed a wedge
- 6:06Speaker 1: issue to make themselves look better. They needed an issue
- 6:11Speaker 1: that would give them the moral high ground and make
- 6:14Speaker 1: conservatives look bad, to make people around Bush look bad.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Remember when John Carey used that to his advantage when
- 6:22Speaker 1: he's like, you know, and then there was the you know,
- 6:24Speaker 1: we don't torture moments that we heard, and there was
- 6:26Speaker 1: all these people in the media, They're like, we don'twn torture,
- 6:29Speaker 1: we don't torture. That's not what we were better. We
- 6:32Speaker 1: were better than that, waight, And it's not what we do.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You grab me a kaleide shake Muhammad and Osama bin
- 6:38Speaker 1: lad and they have information about an imminent threat. I
- 6:42Speaker 1: don't believe that you give them a lawyer. I believe
- 6:46Speaker 1: that you extract that information out of them, and I
- 6:48Speaker 1: think there should be a lot of ways to do that.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I don't have a problem with waterboarding a high level
- 6:55Speaker 1: person and a terrorist organization, and there are some people
- 6:59Speaker 1: there to be Like Ben, I cannot believe that you
- 7:01Speaker 1: just said that I did. I believe that, by the way,
- 7:04Speaker 1: for quite some time. I'm not shy about it. Did
- 7:07Speaker 1: I say that every enemy combat in you waterboard. No,
- 7:11Speaker 1: But if you grab the guys at the top and
- 7:14Speaker 1: there's an active threat and they know what they're doing
- 7:16Speaker 1: and what they're planning, yeah, Like I do believe that
- 7:20Speaker 1: there are too many people in air conditioning offices that
- 7:23Speaker 1: like to point fingers of the guys in dark and
- 7:24Speaker 1: dangerous places and helicopters and enemy territory who are doing
- 7:28Speaker 1: things people in DC would never dare to do. I
- 7:30Speaker 1: agree with that statement from Pete there. It is a
- 7:33Speaker 1: very accurate statement. I also want you to hear what
- 7:39Speaker 1: was said on another issue, and this was back and
- 7:44Speaker 1: forth from Senator Mark Mullen and Democrats really went after
- 7:49Speaker 1: Pete for being divorced and having gotten remarried and having
- 7:55Speaker 1: a young child, and there was a nasty exchange with
- 7:58Speaker 1: Tim Kane. Now, Tim Kanan is a guy that wanted
- 8:02Speaker 1: to throw down in a very, very vile way. It
- 8:07Speaker 1: was one of the worst moments I would say today
- 8:11Speaker 1: in all of this was Tim Kane basically saying you're
- 8:13Speaker 1: a scumbag, Pete. And during Pete's confirmation hearing Senner came
- 8:18Speaker 1: shared his moral outrage as he described over head Says'
- 8:21Speaker 1: previous relationships. He also suggested he wouldn't vote for Pete's
- 8:26Speaker 1: confirmation because of his infidelity. Well, if he does believe
- 8:31Speaker 1: this the way that he was acting like today, then
- 8:35Speaker 1: my question would be, why did you just six months ago,
- 8:40Speaker 1: why did you film a giddy video with a second gentleman,
- 8:44Speaker 1: Doug im Hoff. If you're going to talk about this issue,
- 8:48Speaker 1: then you need to remember that the second husband, right,
- 8:53Speaker 1: Doug Enhoff, cheated on his first wife by getting his
- 8:57Speaker 1: children's nanny pregnant. He's also accused of smacking one of
- 9:03Speaker 1: his previous girl friends in the face. Im Hoff cheated
- 9:07Speaker 1: on his first wife by getting his children's nanny pregnant.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Okay, that's that's a fact.
- 9:14Speaker 1: So let me just remind you of what Tim kan
- 9:16Speaker 1: sounded like six months ago, and then I want you
- 9:19Speaker 1: to hear what he had to say today.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Hey, folks, Tim Kaine here, second gentleman Doug M. Hoff Here.
- 9:26Speaker 6: We are in Annandale, Virginia, where the Biden Harris campaign
- 9:29Speaker 6: just opened the first coordinating campaign office in Virginia.
- 9:33Speaker 3: And we are going to one win this election.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Senator Kane is going to go back to the Senate
- 9:39Speaker 4: and we're all going to do this thing together.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Now, that was six months ago, So what where was
- 9:46Speaker 1: the outrage?
- 9:47Speaker 3: Right?
- 9:47Speaker 1: Hey, I can't support this guy to be the first present,
- 9:51Speaker 1: the first man, right, I can't. I can't support him
- 9:54Speaker 1: because he, you know, again, cheated on his wife by
- 9:57Speaker 1: getting his children's nanny pregnant, also accuse of smacking one
- 10:02Speaker 1: of his previous girlfriends in the face. So where is
- 10:05Speaker 1: that Tim Kaine today? Well, let me let you hear
- 10:07Speaker 1: what he sounded like today.
- 10:09Speaker 6: You had just fathered a child two months before by
- 10:12Speaker 6: a woman that was not your wife. I am shocked
- 10:16Speaker 6: that you would stand here and say you.
- 10:17Speaker 3: Are completely cleared.
- 10:19Speaker 6: Can you so casually cheat on a second wife and
- 10:22Speaker 6: cheat on the mother of a child who had been
- 10:25Speaker 6: born two months before, and you tell us you are
- 10:27Speaker 6: completely cleared. So how is that a complete clear Senator.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Her child's name is Gwendolen Hope Hegseeth, and she's a
- 10:34Speaker 4: child of God, and she's seven years old. And you
- 10:37Speaker 4: cheated on the mother of that child less than two
- 10:40Speaker 4: months after that daughter was born, didn't you.
- 10:44Speaker 1: The part here that I think is the most disgusting
- 10:46Speaker 1: by the Democrats is they have no problem at all endorsing, advocating,
- 10:53Speaker 1: or supporting people in their own party that have done
- 10:57Speaker 1: things that they're now saying disqualify you from being in
- 11:02Speaker 1: charge of the Pentagon. Look, I would love if Pete
- 11:05Speaker 1: had a perfect record. How I love if every person
- 11:08Speaker 1: had a perfect record on our side. That's not reality.
- 11:12Speaker 1: People are centers. People make mistakes. Everybody I know, including me,
- 11:15Speaker 1: have made mistakes in their life. I don't think you
- 11:18Speaker 1: judge someone based on a mistake. I think you judge
- 11:22Speaker 1: people based on their body of work. Let me also
- 11:24Speaker 1: say this, I'm not electing the gout to be the
- 11:25Speaker 1: pope or the pastor of my church. What I am
- 11:30Speaker 1: doing is saying, I think this guy understands the military.
- 11:34Speaker 1: He served in the military, and I think he's way
- 11:36Speaker 1: more qualified for that job than the majority of the
- 11:38Speaker 1: people in the United States Senate for their jobs on
- 11:42Speaker 1: both sides of the aisle. And there was another senator
- 11:46Speaker 1: that made this point, and this audio today when I
- 11:49Speaker 1: was watching it, genuinely made me smile because Senator Mullan
- 11:57Speaker 1: came out and just went off the rails after he witnessed.
- 12:01Speaker 1: And I didn't play for you all of the back
- 12:03Speaker 1: and forth with Tim Kane because it was just so disgusting,
- 12:05Speaker 1: but you got the gist of it, and I want
- 12:08Speaker 1: you to hear what Senator Mullen had to say about
- 12:11Speaker 1: the other senators in the room. And it was a
- 12:13Speaker 1: very interesting moment because Democrats got real quiet. They got
- 12:18Speaker 1: real quiet because he was very close to I think,
- 12:22Speaker 1: naming names and shooting a shout across the bow of
- 12:25Speaker 1: all these self rightous senators.
- 12:27Speaker 2: And this is what he said.
- 12:29Speaker 3: You know, there's a lot.
- 12:29Speaker 7: Of talk going about talking about qualifications and then about
- 12:33Speaker 7: us hiring him if we are the board. But there's
- 12:36Speaker 7: a lot of senators here I wouldn't have on my
- 12:38Speaker 7: board because there is no qualifications.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Except your age.
- 12:42Speaker 7: And you've got to be living in the state and
- 12:43Speaker 7: you're a citizen of the United States to be a
- 12:46Speaker 7: senator other than the fact we got to convince a
- 12:47Speaker 7: lot of people to vote force. And then when we
- 12:50Speaker 7: start talking about qualifications for if you're qualified for it,
- 12:55Speaker 7: could the chairman tell me what the qualifications are for
- 12:57Speaker 7: the Secretary of Defense? This chairman, could you tell me
- 13:00Speaker 7: what the qualifications are for the Secretary Defense, I'd be
- 13:04Speaker 7: happy forward. I'll read it for you to t me
- 13:07Speaker 7: out me. Let me read it for you because I
- 13:10Speaker 7: was getting some advice from second in command. Yeah, but
- 13:14Speaker 7: I'm just making a point because there's a lot about qualifications,
- 13:17Speaker 7: and I think it's so hypocritical of senators, especially on
- 13:19Speaker 7: the other side. I'll be talking about his qualifications not
- 13:22Speaker 7: going to lead the secretary or be the Secretary of Defense.
- 13:27Speaker 7: And yet your qualifications aren't any better. You guys aren't
- 13:32Speaker 7: any more qualified to be the Senator than I'm qualified
- 13:34Speaker 7: to be the center.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Except we're lucky enough to be here.
- 13:37Speaker 7: But let me read you what the qualifications of the
- 13:39Speaker 7: Secretary of Defense is because I googled it, and I
- 13:41Speaker 7: googled it and went through a lot of different sites,
- 13:43Speaker 7: and really it's hard to see. But in general, the
- 13:45Speaker 7: US Secretary of Defense position is filled by a civilian.
- 13:49Speaker 3: That's it.
- 13:50Speaker 7: If you have served in the US Army Forces, and
- 13:53Speaker 7: I've been in the service for you have to be
- 13:56Speaker 7: retired for at least seven years, and Congress can weigh that.
- 14:00Speaker 7: And then there's questions that that the senator from from
- 14:05Speaker 7: Massachusetts brought up about serving on a on a board
- 14:11Speaker 7: inside the military industry, and yet your own secretary that
- 14:15Speaker 7: you all voted for Secretary of Austin. We had to
- 14:18Speaker 7: vote on a waiver because he stepped out the border raytheon.
- 14:22Speaker 7: But I guess that's okay because that's a Democrat Secretary
- 14:26Speaker 7: of Defense. But we so quickly forget about that. And
- 14:30Speaker 7: then Senator Kane or I guess I better use the
- 14:34Speaker 7: senator from Virginia starts bringing up the fact that what
- 14:36Speaker 7: if you showed up drunk.
- 14:38Speaker 3: To your job?
- 14:39Speaker 7: How many Senators have showed up drunk to vote at night?
- 14:44Speaker 1: By the way, you hear the laughter in the room.
- 14:46Speaker 1: This happens, and I've witnessed it multiple times in my career.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Multiple times I have been out at dinner, by the way,
- 14:56Speaker 1: with senators who then have to go back and vote
- 15:00Speaker 1: and I have witnessed senators who are hammered go to
- 15:05Speaker 1: the floor of the Senate and vote. Listen to the
- 15:08Speaker 1: laughing in the background. These are staffers. They know it's true.
- 15:12Speaker 1: They know it's true.
- 15:14Speaker 7: The senator from Virginia starts bringing up the fact that
- 15:16Speaker 7: what if you showed.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Up drunk to your job?
- 15:20Speaker 7: How many senators have showed up drunk to vote at night?
- 15:25Speaker 3: Heavy?
- 15:26Speaker 1: You hear the laughter like they're all laughing because they
- 15:28Speaker 1: know that it's true. And to put the drinking part
- 15:31Speaker 1: of context, one of the senators went after Pete for
- 15:35Speaker 1: drinking in the past. He is gone sober now and
- 15:39Speaker 1: she started to belittle him and attack him for well
- 15:44Speaker 1: and wanting a demand that he say that he would
- 15:46Speaker 1: resign for the d D if he ever had a
- 15:49Speaker 1: drink while working at the d D. Now he said
- 15:52Speaker 1: very clearly he will not drink while he's in charge
- 15:56Speaker 1: of the Pentagon. And she's like, well, if you do,
- 15:59Speaker 1: if you have a zip of champagne, if if you
- 16:02Speaker 1: crack open a celebratory beer after we kill a terrorist
- 16:05Speaker 1: or whatever the scenario may be, you will you commit
- 16:08Speaker 1: to resigning immediately. And so what Senator Mullen is saying
- 16:12Speaker 1: here is like, dude, like, you guys are such scumbags,
- 16:14Speaker 1: Like I've seen you out drinking. I've seen you casting
- 16:18Speaker 1: votes drunk. I've seen it, by the way, and you
- 16:22Speaker 1: could tell that the senators on the Democratic side got
- 16:24Speaker 1: really awkward because I think they were afraid that he
- 16:27Speaker 1: was going to bring it up. So I'm going to
- 16:29Speaker 1: play that part one more time. Listen to the laughter, and
- 16:31Speaker 1: then listen to his closing moment here.
- 16:33Speaker 7: I guess I better use the senator from Virginia. It
- 16:35Speaker 7: starts bringing up the fact that what if you showed
- 16:38Speaker 7: up drunk to your job? How many senators have showed
- 16:41Speaker 7: up drunk to vote at night? Have any of you
- 16:46Speaker 7: guys asked him to step down and resign for their job?
- 16:50Speaker 7: And don't tell me you haven't seen it, because I
- 16:52Speaker 7: know you have. And then how many senators do you
- 16:55Speaker 7: know have got a divorce before cheating on their wives?
- 16:58Speaker 3: Did you ask them just tap down? No? But it's
- 17:03Speaker 3: for show, you guys.
- 17:05Speaker 7: Make sure you make a big show and point out
- 17:07Speaker 7: the hypocrisy because a man's made a mistake and you
- 17:11Speaker 7: want to sit there and say that he's not qualified.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Give me a joke.
- 17:15Speaker 7: It is so ridiculous that you guys hold yourself as
- 17:18Speaker 7: this higher standard and you forget you got a big
- 17:20Speaker 7: plank in your eye. We've all made mistakes. I've made mistakes,
- 17:25Speaker 7: and Jennifer, thank you for loving him through that mistake,
- 17:28Speaker 7: because the only reason why I'm here and not in
- 17:30Speaker 7: prison is because my wife loved me too. I have changed,
- 17:38Speaker 7: but I'm not perfect, but I found somebody that thought
- 17:42Speaker 7: I was perfect. And for whatever reason, you love Pete
- 17:45Speaker 7: and I don't know why, but just like our Lord
- 17:50Speaker 7: and Savior forgave me, my wife's had to forgive me
- 17:53Speaker 7: more than once two and I'm sure you've had to
- 17:54Speaker 7: forgive him too.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I love that exchange there, and I love how human
- 18:00Speaker 1: it was. And I also love that there was a
- 18:02Speaker 1: senator man enough to say, like, you think we're a
- 18:05Speaker 1: perfect body because democrats like, well, we're the board of
- 18:09Speaker 1: the company here and we've got to hire you. And
- 18:13Speaker 1: he's like, I wouldn't hire any one of us for
- 18:17Speaker 1: this job based on you guys coming to work and
- 18:20Speaker 1: drinking and making a voting late at night drunk. By
- 18:23Speaker 1: the way it happens, He's not exaggerating. There are dozens
- 18:26Speaker 1: of senators that I have seen that have come to
- 18:30Speaker 1: work at night drunk. There are tons of congressmen, by
- 18:35Speaker 1: the way, I've seen do the same thing, especially during
- 18:37Speaker 1: government shutdowns when I lived in DC. In fact, I
- 18:39Speaker 1: was at dinner with congressmen from both sides out who
- 18:41Speaker 1: were drinking and then went and voted, and then went
- 18:46Speaker 1: and voted. Let me just close with this one final
- 18:51Speaker 1: thing about Pete Number one. I do think he's going
- 18:54Speaker 1: to make it, and I think he's going to do
- 18:57Speaker 1: a damn good job at being in charge Pendagon. I
- 19:01Speaker 1: also think the way he handled himself with the Armed
- 19:06Speaker 1: Services Committee and the way that he handled the attacks
- 19:09Speaker 1: from people like Elizabeth Warren were spot on. And I
- 19:12Speaker 1: actually give him credit for surviving this confirmation hearing because
- 19:16Speaker 1: of one thing that he did that allowed him to
- 19:19Speaker 1: make it through, and that was actually working TV, you know,
- 19:23Speaker 1: working at Fox and working in TV. I got better
- 19:27Speaker 1: at my job by working at CNN. I actually think
- 19:29Speaker 1: it was the best blessing of my career, was doing
- 19:31Speaker 1: seven years in hell at CNN because it prepared me
- 19:35Speaker 1: to deal with these types of yahoos.
- 19:36Speaker 2: And I think Pete has.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Had to deal with these people in a different way
- 19:39Speaker 1: where when people attack you, you don't let it bother
- 19:42Speaker 1: you as much. I'll give you a great example of this,
- 19:44Speaker 1: and this is the reason why I think he's going
- 19:46Speaker 1: to be confirmed easily. Elizabeth Warren did her best to
- 19:50Speaker 1: rough him up, and there was a twenty second moment
- 19:53Speaker 1: that I'm going to play for you, and again the
- 19:56Speaker 1: committee room laughed at Senator Elizabeth Warren's.
- 20:01Speaker 8: You're quite sure that every general who serves should not
- 20:06Speaker 8: go directly into the defense industry for ten years? Are
- 20:10Speaker 8: you're not willing to make that same pledge.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I'm not a general senator.
- 20:17Speaker 1: To you, I'm not a general senator. He smiled when
- 20:22Speaker 1: he did it. It was a checkmate moment. They did
- 20:25Speaker 1: everything they could to him today to try to destroy
- 20:28Speaker 1: him everything they could. And one final thing that I'll
- 20:32Speaker 1: say about Pete today, and this is the reason why
- 20:35Speaker 1: I think he's the right man for the job, is
- 20:37Speaker 1: because when he was making his comments about why he
- 20:40Speaker 1: wanted the job, it was about accountability. And this is
- 20:44Speaker 1: exactly why so many Democrats are trying to stop him.
- 20:47Speaker 1: He said, there has been no accountability for our disasters,
- 20:51Speaker 1: including Afghanistan's withdrawal.
- 20:54Speaker 4: Listen, there's been no accountability for the disaster of the
- 20:58Speaker 4: withdrawal in Afghanistan, and precisely why we're here today, shoes
- 21:02Speaker 4: is that leadership now it's been unwilling to take accountability.
- 21:05Speaker 4: It's the time to restore that to our most senior ranks.
- 21:09Speaker 1: You shouldn't get a promotion when you do what they
- 21:11Speaker 1: did in Afghanistan.
- 21:12Speaker 2: And that is the point that he said.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Leadership has been unwilling to take accountability for its problems.
- 21:20Speaker 1: It's failures, and it's time to restore that to our
- 21:23Speaker 1: most senior ranks. This is why Democrats hate him. This
- 21:27Speaker 1: is why Democrats are trying to get rid of him.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I don't think it's going to work. I think he
- 21:33Speaker 1: is going to be confirmed and that is good for
- 21:35Speaker 1: our men and women in uniform. Now, let's get to
- 21:39Speaker 1: something else that's happening while everybody's been obsessed with this,
- 21:42Speaker 1: and it's disgusting. You want to talk about a threat
- 21:44Speaker 1: to our country. It ain't Pete head seth.
- 21:46Speaker 2: It is.
- 21:47Speaker 1: However, the Democrats and Joe Biden not having the knees
- 21:51Speaker 1: to do this while he was running for president or
- 21:54Speaker 1: when he thought he was up for reelection. But now
- 21:56Speaker 1: that he's gone, well screw it, and everybody else around decision.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Joe Biden has now moved to lift the state sponsor
- 22:04Speaker 1: of terrorism designation for Cuba, and he's saying he has
- 22:09Speaker 1: no choice but to do it because of the hostage
- 22:12Speaker 1: agreement He's getting done. Biden has officially removed pro Hamas
- 22:18Speaker 1: has blowed tied Cuba from the state Sponsor of Terrorism list,
- 22:21Speaker 1: which is going to change their economy drastically and help
- 22:24Speaker 1: them have better relationships with China, with Russia and with
- 22:29Speaker 1: terrorist groups in the Middle East. The President announced he
- 22:32Speaker 1: would remove Cuba from the State Department's list of state
- 22:35Speaker 1: sponsor of terrorism, leaving only Iran, Syria, and North Korea
- 22:39Speaker 1: on that list. Biden claimed in his declaration that Cuba
- 22:43Speaker 1: had not sponsored terrorism for quote six months, So in
- 22:46Speaker 1: other words, you can sponsor as much terrorism as you want,
- 22:48Speaker 1: but in the democratic world, as long as you're a
- 22:50Speaker 1: good actor for six months will take you off the list.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Apparently that's enough to remove you from this list. He's
- 22:55Speaker 1: admitting that six months ago they were sponsoring terrorism, but
- 22:59Speaker 1: they said in the last six months they haven't, so
- 23:01Speaker 1: therefore they don't need to be on the list. You
- 23:04Speaker 1: want to know how long Cuba has been on the list.
- 23:06Speaker 1: You want to know how ridiculous this whole conversation is
- 23:08Speaker 1: we're having right now. Cuba has been on the list
- 23:10Speaker 1: for most of the years between nineteen eighty two and
- 23:13Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. You want to know when they were
- 23:17Speaker 1: taking off the list, with the exception of six years
- 23:20Speaker 1: between twenty fifteen and twenty twenty one, after President Barack Obama,
- 23:26Speaker 1: whom Biden served as a vice president, removed the communist
- 23:29Speaker 1: regime from a list as part of a quote larger
- 23:32Speaker 1: package of concessions to Havana. The Obama concession policy resulted
- 23:37Speaker 1: in a dramatic increase in political and religious persecution on
- 23:40Speaker 1: the island that has been documented and served also to
- 23:44Speaker 1: in bolden Cuba to forge deeper relationships with global terror
- 23:49Speaker 1: terror entities such as Hesbolah Hamas and the government directly
- 23:53Speaker 1: of Iran. So after Joe Biden and Barack Obama did that,
- 24:00Speaker 1: Resident Elect Donald Trump restored Cuba of the list of
- 24:02Speaker 1: State Sponsors of Terrorism in twenty twenty one on the
- 24:04Speaker 1: grounds of the cast Or regime maintains relationships with several
- 24:08Speaker 1: jihadist terror entities as well as narco terrorists militias such
- 24:12Speaker 1: as the Revolutionary Army Forces of Columbia known as FARK
- 24:16Speaker 1: in Latin America. The state sponsor of Terrorism label comes
- 24:20Speaker 1: with hefty economic sanctions, that's why Joe Biden's helping them
- 24:25Speaker 1: out right, and diplomatic limitations. According to the State Department,
- 24:29Speaker 1: state sponsors of terrorism, reading directly from their wording face quote,
- 24:34Speaker 1: restrictions on US foreign assistants, a ban on defense exports
- 24:39Speaker 1: and sales, certain controls over exports of dual use items,
- 24:44Speaker 1: and miscellaneous financial and other restrictions. Now you may say,
- 24:49Speaker 1: all right, well he's going to do this and immediately
- 24:50Speaker 1: Trump's going to undo it.
- 24:52Speaker 2: So what's the big deal.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Everybody that's got their money tied up right now, everybody's
- 24:58Speaker 1: got their money that they can't get because of a
- 25:00Speaker 1: American sanctions, and then being on this list, we'll be
- 25:03Speaker 1: able to grab and get all their money instantly when
- 25:05Speaker 1: this is lifted, and then if you put it back on,
- 25:08Speaker 1: they're going to be like, we don't care because we
- 25:09Speaker 1: got our money out. This is going to fund terrorism,
- 25:13Speaker 1: This is going to fund narco terrorism, This is going
- 25:16Speaker 1: to fund cartels, drug dealers, and the terrorists in the
- 25:21Speaker 1: Middle East instantly with this decision. Now, yeah, Trump's going
- 25:25Speaker 1: to be inaugurated and to a second term as present
- 25:27Speaker 1: on Monday. The Biden administration made the decision less than
- 25:30Speaker 1: a week of its tenure remaining, and announced it the
- 25:33Speaker 1: day before Trump's choice to lead the State Department. Cuban
- 25:36Speaker 1: American Senator Marco Rubio is scheduled to appear before Congress
- 25:41Speaker 1: for confirmation. You need to understand that was done on purpose,
- 25:45Speaker 1: disregarding the substantial evidence that communist Cuba enables terrorists activity
- 25:50Speaker 1: around the world. Biden said in his official certification removing
- 25:54Speaker 1: the country from the list that Cuba had promised not
- 25:56Speaker 1: to do so again in the future because they haven't
- 25:59Speaker 1: been involved in terror.
- 26:00Speaker 2: He says that at least the last six months. This
- 26:02Speaker 2: is not a joke quote.
- 26:04Speaker 1: The government of Cuba has not provided any support for
- 26:07Speaker 1: international terrorism.
- 26:08Speaker 2: During the preceding six month period.
- 26:10Speaker 1: The government of Cuba has provided assurance says that it
- 26:12Speaker 1: will not support acts of international terrorism in the future.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Oh okay, well that's good to know. So why are
- 26:20Speaker 1: they doing it? For one reason and one reason only.
- 26:22Speaker 1: They wanted to give a big win to the left.
- 26:25Speaker 1: They wanted to give a win to the terrorists. They
- 26:27Speaker 1: wanted to give a win to Cuba, and they wanted,
- 26:29Speaker 1: for whatever reason behind the scenes, to do a deal
- 26:32Speaker 1: and hook them up. That's what this is about. It
- 26:36Speaker 1: also undermines Donald Trump when he comes into office, and
- 26:40Speaker 1: it's another way to screw with Marco Rubio right before
- 26:44Speaker 1: his confirmation hearing you combine all this, you put all
- 26:47Speaker 1: this together, and this is what you get.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Now, one final.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Thing I want to say, and I mentioned this earlier
- 26:53Speaker 1: about the vote today that happened. It should not have
- 26:58Speaker 1: been a controversial vote. This should be a bipartisan vote
- 27:03Speaker 1: on protecting girls and boys sports. Unfortunately, Democrats said, screw it,
- 27:10Speaker 1: We're going to screw over women yet again. The House
- 27:14Speaker 1: passed a bill banning men from competing in girls' sports,
- 27:19Speaker 1: specifically in schools that receive federal funding.
- 27:22Speaker 2: This is huge.
- 27:24Speaker 1: There were two hundred and six Democrats that vote against it.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Democrats clearly hate women and girls by mandating that men
- 27:35Speaker 1: who identify as a woman can play in their events.
- 27:40Speaker 1: So when they tell you that they are, oh, we're
- 27:42Speaker 1: in favor of girls and women, and we're all in
- 27:45Speaker 1: favor of women in or you know, women's sports and
- 27:49Speaker 1: women succeeding in life.
- 27:51Speaker 2: No, they're not. They would rather push this woke ideology.
- 27:55Speaker 1: On your daughter and have men in the in the
- 27:58Speaker 1: locker rooms changing in front of them.
- 28:00Speaker 2: The list goes on and on.
- 28:04Speaker 1: There have been so many women whose lives have been
- 28:07Speaker 1: affected by men in the locker room. There have been
- 28:10Speaker 1: women that have been forced to change in front of men.
- 28:12Speaker 1: There have been women that have been attacked a sexually
- 28:15Speaker 1: assaulted because of men. But you also have to remember
- 28:19Speaker 1: something and this actually goes back to Pete head Seth.
- 28:23Speaker 1: For a second, Democrat Jack Reid said head Seth isn't
- 28:28Speaker 1: qualified for the job.
- 28:31Speaker 2: You want to know who.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Jack voted for to confirm in the Biden administration a dude, Okay,
- 28:38Speaker 1: a dude who thinks he's a chick. They voted to
- 28:43Speaker 1: confirm multiple men in the military and positions of power
- 28:47Speaker 1: who actually think that they are dudes that are somehow chicks.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Never forget that is the Democratic Party. Make sure you
- 28:58Speaker 1: share this podcast with your fan family and your friends,
- 29:01Speaker 1: and I will see you back here tomorrow.
