Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / GOP prohibits Transgender Staff from Using Women's Bathrooms in the Capitol
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: All right, there's a big report out right now that
- 0:03Speaker 1: has got all of the left just losing their minds
- 0:06Speaker 1: because there's a dude that dresses like a chick that
- 0:11Speaker 1: is now in Congress, and that dude wants the ability
- 0:16Speaker 1: to go into the women's locker rooms and also into
- 0:20Speaker 1: the women's bathrooms. That's not sitting well with many women
- 0:25Speaker 1: in Congress. Speaker Mike Johnson, we're being told now is
- 0:28Speaker 1: also privately committed to back an effort that is being
- 0:32Speaker 1: led by Representative Nancy Mace, a Republican from South Carolina,
- 0:36Speaker 1: to block biological men from using women's restrooms in the
- 0:42Speaker 1: US Capitol. Democrats of course, saying, oh, it's a trans issue.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Let's go all in on this one and do everything
- 0:49Speaker 1: we can to fight back, like we're gonna do it,
- 0:51Speaker 1: We're gonna.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Go all in.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Well, take a listen to what Representative Nancy May said.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Being a feminist makes me an extreme. I'm totally here
- 1:01Speaker 3: for it.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Is this effort in response to commerce mun Mdrive coming
- 1:05Speaker 4: to Congress.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Yes, and absolutely, and then some I'm not going to
- 1:08Speaker 3: stand for a man, you know, someone with the penis
- 1:12Speaker 3: is in the women's locker room.
- 1:13Speaker 2: That's not okay. And I'm a victim of abuse myself.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I'm a rape survivor.
- 1:18Speaker 3: I have PTSD from the abuse I've suffered at the
- 1:20Speaker 3: hands of a man, And I know how vulnerable women
- 1:24Speaker 3: and girls are.
- 1:24Speaker 2: In private spaces.
- 1:25Speaker 3: So I'm absolutely one hundred percent going to stand in
- 1:29Speaker 3: the way of any man who wants to be in
- 1:31Speaker 3: a women's restroom, in our locker rooms, in our changing rooms.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I will be there fighting you every step of the way.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I will be there fighting you every step of the way. Now,
- 1:40Speaker 1: immediately the left came out started tagging her, saying, oh,
- 1:43Speaker 1: so you're saying that everybody that's a trans person is
- 1:46Speaker 1: going to be a rapist.
- 1:48Speaker 2: No, that's not what she said.
- 1:49Speaker 1: What she did say was is she doesn't want a
- 1:51Speaker 1: man with a penis in the bathroom, in the changing space,
- 1:56Speaker 1: in the locker room with a woman. And if she
- 1:58Speaker 1: says that that makes me a and extremists, fine by me.
- 2:01Speaker 1: If that makes me, you know, some sort of radical feminists,
- 2:04Speaker 1: that's okay. But she said, in her own words, if
- 2:06Speaker 1: someone with a penis in the women's locker room, that's
- 2:09Speaker 1: not o K.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I could not agree with her more.
- 2:14Speaker 1: There's two points I want to make here number one,
- 2:16Speaker 1: Where are all the feminists backing this woman who is
- 2:19Speaker 1: a survivor? She said, I have PTSD from the abuse
- 2:23Speaker 1: I've suffered the hands of a man. I am a
- 2:27Speaker 1: rape survivor her words, and I am a victim of
- 2:33Speaker 1: abuse myself. I am trying to keep women safe. There
- 2:37Speaker 1: are a lot of young women, by the way, that
- 2:39Speaker 1: are at the Capitol. There's a lot of young interns,
- 2:42Speaker 1: college age kids at work at the Capitol. And look,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I'm also going to be honest with you, the Capitol
- 2:48Speaker 1: can be a very It's a very big place, a
- 2:51Speaker 1: lot of long hallways, you can get lost. There's lots
- 2:54Speaker 1: of places where you can even feel a little bit
- 2:57Speaker 1: uncomfortable in the tunnels underneath the Capitol. If you're walking alone,
- 3:01Speaker 1: you shouldn't have to worry that you're going to have
- 3:04Speaker 1: to deal with a man, as she describes it, with
- 3:06Speaker 1: a penis in your restroom or in your locker rooms
- 3:08Speaker 1: or your changing rooms. This is not okay. It has
- 3:13Speaker 1: never been okay. And the fact that she's standing up
- 3:17Speaker 1: and saying I'm going to introduce this legislation like, oh, well,
- 3:20Speaker 1: this is transphobia. No, this is trying to protect women,
- 3:23Speaker 1: and that's exactly why the speaker is backing this bill.
- 3:25Speaker 1: We're being told to ban trands from women's bathrooms in
- 3:29Speaker 1: Capitol Hill. Now, let me tell you real quick about
- 3:31Speaker 1: an incredible sponsor of the show, and that is Patriot Mobile.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I use Patriot Mobile for my cell phone provider, and
- 3:38Speaker 1: I get unbelievable service wherever I travel, nationwide coverage without
- 3:43Speaker 1: the woke, radical agenda of Big Mobile. You may not
- 3:47Speaker 1: know this, but I'm going to tell you, and then
- 3:48Speaker 1: you're going to know Big Mobile gives big donations the
- 3:51Speaker 1: Democratic Causes, candidates and radical organizations, including organizations that pay
- 3:58Speaker 1: for abortions. Is exactly why I want you to take
- 4:02Speaker 1: your business somewhere else to Patriot Mobile. They're the only Christian,
- 4:07Speaker 1: conservative wireless provider. And when you pay your bill every month,
- 4:10Speaker 1: you make a difference. How do they do that because
- 4:13Speaker 1: they take about five percent of your bill every.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Month at no extra cost to you, and they give.
- 4:19Speaker 1: It back to organizations that are fighting for our First
- 4:21Speaker 1: and our Second Amendment rights, fighting for the rights of
- 4:24Speaker 1: unborn children, fighting to protect our men and women that
- 4:28Speaker 1: serve our country, our veterans, and our wounded warriors. That
- 4:32Speaker 1: is exactly why I want you to switch. Whether you're
- 4:34Speaker 1: a business or a small business, or it's just you
- 4:37Speaker 1: and your family, take a look at Patriot Mobile. You
- 4:41Speaker 1: keep your same cell phone you have now or upgrade
- 4:43Speaker 1: to a new one. Keep your same cell phone number
- 4:45Speaker 1: you have right now as well, And switching is done
- 4:47Speaker 1: over the phone. It has never been easier. Plus, they
- 4:50Speaker 1: have a coverage guarantee. If you're worried about coverage, don't

- 5:22Speaker 1: Speaker Johnson has privately, we're being told committed to backing
- 5:25Speaker 1: the efforts to block the biological men from using women's
- 5:29Speaker 1: restrooms in the US Capitol Mace announcing she will introduce
- 5:33Speaker 1: the resolution to ban transgendered women biological men okay from
- 5:38Speaker 1: using biological biologically women restaurant women's restrooms at the US Capitol.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Johnson during her House Republican Conference meeting said transgender women
- 5:48Speaker 1: won't be allowed to use women's restrooms in the Capitol.
- 5:52Speaker 1: He said, there's not going to be any biological men
- 5:54Speaker 1: using our restrooms. That's what Represented Marjorie Taylor Green said
- 5:58Speaker 1: to Politico as well. Mace confirmed Green's account, telling Axes
- 6:02Speaker 1: that Johnson said to me last night that he would
- 6:06Speaker 1: include it in the House rules Speaker. Johnson told the
- 6:11Speaker 1: GOP conference. It's also being reported by another member of
- 6:15Speaker 1: the news that the transgender women won't be allowed to
- 6:18Speaker 1: use the women's bathroom in the Capitol. Per two sources,
- 6:22Speaker 1: it comes as represented Mace puts forward a bill on
- 6:24Speaker 1: the matter, despite pledges made in private. Johnson was less
- 6:28Speaker 1: committal in a post meeting press conference, refusing to address
- 6:31Speaker 1: whether Mace's proposal would be included in a rules package,
- 6:35Speaker 1: saying this we will provide appropriate accommodations for every member
- 6:38Speaker 1: of Congress, noting this is a new issue for congressmen
- 6:42Speaker 1: to deal with. Speaker earlier had refused to answer whether
- 6:46Speaker 1: freshman elect transgender representative Sarah McBride, a Democrat from Delaware,
- 6:51Speaker 1: is a man or a woman, saying, look, I'm not.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Going to get into this.
- 6:56Speaker 1: We welcome all new members with open arms, who are
- 6:59Speaker 1: due representatives of the people. I believe it's a command
- 7:03Speaker 1: we treat all persons with dignity and respect.
- 7:06Speaker 2: We will.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I'm not going to engage in silly debates about this.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Is what Mike Johnson had to say. Here's a little
- 7:13Speaker 1: bit more of what he had to say.
- 7:15Speaker 5: Good Gersion's freshman elect Sarah McBride man or a woman.
- 7:21Speaker 6: Look, I'm not going to get into this. We welcome
- 7:24Speaker 6: all new members with open arms, who are duly elected
- 7:28Speaker 6: representatives of the people. I believe it's a command that
- 7:33Speaker 6: we treat all persons with dignity and respect, and we will,
- 7:36Speaker 6: and I'm not going to engage and silly debates about this.
- 7:39Speaker 6: There's a concern about the uses of restroom facilities and
- 7:42Speaker 6: locker rooms and all that. This is an issue that
- 7:44Speaker 6: Congress has never had to address before, and we're going
- 7:47Speaker 6: to do that in deliberate fashion with a member consensus
- 7:52Speaker 6: on it, and we will accommodate the needs of every
- 7:54Speaker 6: single person. That's all I'm going to say about that.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Do you plan on bringing Nixy Mace's transgender bill and
- 8:00Speaker 4: putting that into the rules package.
- 8:03Speaker 6: I'm not going to address the plans on any of that.
- 8:04Speaker 6: I just told you what I'm going to say about
- 8:06Speaker 6: the issue. I'm not going to engage in this. We
- 8:07Speaker 6: don't look down upon anyone. We treat everybody with dignity, respect.
- 8:10Speaker 6: That's a principle that I pursued my whole life. And
- 8:12Speaker 6: we will take care of this issue of first impression
- 8:16Speaker 6: for Congress as we will any other thing. We'll provide
- 8:19Speaker 6: appropriate accommodation for every member of Congress.
- 8:22Speaker 1: By the way, that's one of the most non bigoted,
- 8:25Speaker 1: kindest statements I've ever heard. You would think that Democrats
- 8:28Speaker 1: would be like, Okay, that's sensible.
- 8:29Speaker 2: No, no, no no.
- 8:31Speaker 1: If you don't let a man with a penis and
- 8:34Speaker 1: the women' dress rooms, they say you are a transphobic,
- 8:37Speaker 1: horrible individual. The Majority Party, by the way, generally negotiates
- 8:41Speaker 1: the rules package for each Congress internally before and up
- 8:45Speaker 1: and down vote on the House four happens, which usually
- 8:48Speaker 1: breaks on party lines. There's a very good chance it's
- 8:50Speaker 1: going to be in this and again it's a new
- 8:54Speaker 1: issue for Congress, but it's a very interesting moment here
- 8:58Speaker 1: to see what happens. All right, let me move on
- 9:01Speaker 1: to another issue as well, and it's very fun to watch.
- 9:07Speaker 1: There are now insiders that are saying they expect that
- 9:09Speaker 1: the Department of Justice attorneys may resign in mass to
- 9:14Speaker 1: avoid being canned by potus and saying that they want
- 9:17Speaker 1: to stick it to Donald Trump and.
- 9:19Speaker 2: The MAGA warriors.
- 9:21Speaker 1: About thirty days into his presidency, President Joe Biden asks
- 9:24Speaker 1: all Trump appointed US attorneys to resign.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Just so you understand the history of this issue.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Trump allies now expect that the placements, okay, who filled
- 9:34Speaker 1: in thereafter, may resign before the President elect even takes office.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Biden's Apartment of Justice ordinarily all remitting Trump appointed US
- 9:43Speaker 1: attorneys to hand in their resignations in February of twenty
- 9:45Speaker 1: twenty one. Prior to that, in March of seventeen, Obama
- 9:49Speaker 1: appointed US attorneys were asked to resign immediately. Heading into
- 9:53Speaker 1: Trump's second administration, allies of the President elect told The
- 9:57Speaker 1: Daily Caller that they expect something similar to actually happen
- 10:01Speaker 1: with the US attorneys resigning before the forty seventh president
- 10:05Speaker 1: can come in and clean house. Quote Trump can replace
- 10:10Speaker 1: all those attorneys, however it is customed, and he may
- 10:13Speaker 1: resign themselves ahead of time, or at least all for
- 10:16Speaker 1: their resignations, is what Mike Davis, a Trump aligned lawyer
- 10:19Speaker 1: and founder of Article three project, told The Daily Caller.
- 10:23Speaker 1: The removal of the ninety three US attorneys has occurred
- 10:27Speaker 1: for decades, starting with President Ronald Reagan. In his first
- 10:31Speaker 1: two years in office, Reagan replaced eighty nine of the
- 10:34Speaker 1: US attorneys. Clinton brought in the same number in the
- 10:36Speaker 1: same amount of time, and Bush replaced eighty eight of
- 10:38Speaker 1: them in his first two years.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Now, in the week and a half since Trump's.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Reelection, Politico reported that quote a collective sense of dread
- 10:48Speaker 1: is filling the Department of Justice career. DOJ attorneys told
- 10:52Speaker 1: the outlet that they are considering leaving before the administration begins,
- 10:56Speaker 1: as the former president has threatened to fire quote deep
- 11:00Speaker 1: state lawyers.
- 11:01Speaker 2: This is how woosy and woke these people are.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Everyone I've talked to, mostly lawyers, are losing their minds.
- 11:06Speaker 1: When DOJ attorney said to Politico, One source familiar with
- 11:11Speaker 1: the transition process told The Daily Caller that the US
- 11:16Speaker 1: attorneys will most likely resign on their own, and if
- 11:18Speaker 1: they don't, Trump will then fire them himself, saying, quote,
- 11:21Speaker 1: I would expect, actually, given the fact that most of
- 11:24Speaker 1: US attorneys in place now are Biden appointees confirmed by
- 11:28Speaker 1: a Democratic Senate, that President Trump's going to want to
- 11:31Speaker 1: clear them out and then get his own people in there.
- 11:34Speaker 1: And one of the other reasons why they say they
- 11:36Speaker 1: may resign is quote in protests. Because when President elect
- 11:40Speaker 1: Trump sent quote shockwaves through Congress and DC by nominating
- 11:46Speaker 1: now former Republican FORDA Representative Matt Gates as an attorney general.
- 11:51Speaker 1: In a post that he posted last week on True Social,
- 11:53Speaker 1: the DOJ just lost their minds, Like they just totally
- 11:56Speaker 1: went nuts. Now, as a Monday, Gates was reported not
- 12:00Speaker 1: on the short list to be Trump's next age, but
- 12:03Speaker 1: the pair apparently discussed the decision on Trump Force One.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Boris Epstein, a senior advisor of Trump, reportedly pushed for
- 12:09Speaker 1: the pick, while the president elects new chief of staff,
- 12:12Speaker 1: Cecy Wiles, was unaware. Is what some of the reporting
- 12:16Speaker 1: has said. And look, Trump goes with this gut instinct
- 12:18Speaker 1: to the last moment. There's some people that think you
- 12:20Speaker 1: pick Gates just for one reason, so that this would
- 12:22Speaker 1: exactly happen, that there would just be a mass exodus,
- 12:25Speaker 1: that they couldn't handle it, and they'd lose their minds
- 12:27Speaker 1: and freak out, because this is the biggest blank u
- 12:32Speaker 1: that Trump can give to the deep state, is to
- 12:34Speaker 1: give them Matt Gates. Now, there's also a report also
- 12:38Speaker 1: saying that this is going to expand outside of just
- 12:41Speaker 1: the DOJ, that the top CIA and National Intelligence officials
- 12:45Speaker 1: are also going to resign before Trump takes office, and
- 12:49Speaker 1: the inspector generals for the CIA and the Office of
- 12:52Speaker 1: the Director of National Intelligence are heading for the exit
- 12:55Speaker 1: before the new Trump administration takes power. The Project on
- 13:00Speaker 1: Government Oversight is confirming these reports. So the Department of
- 13:04Speaker 1: the Agency Watchdogs represents some of the first officials to
- 13:07Speaker 1: remove themselves from the administration and the administrative state before
- 13:12Speaker 1: President Elect Trump takes office. Trump is vowed to rid
- 13:16Speaker 1: the federal bureaucracy of rogue and corrupt actors. Many of
- 13:19Speaker 1: the people that you're going to see resign are going
- 13:20Speaker 1: to be exactly that. To carry out those reforms, Trump
- 13:24Speaker 1: nominated a friend of mine, a great guy, John Ratcliffe.
- 13:28Speaker 1: He's the former Director of National Intelligence from twenty twenty
- 13:31Speaker 1: to twenty twenty one, to lead the CIA. He also
- 13:35Speaker 1: nominated Tulsea Gabberty, former Democratic congressman from Hawaii, to be
- 13:38Speaker 1: the Director of National Intelligence. And when you give them
- 13:41Speaker 1: these two, apparently no one else can handle it.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Now.
- 13:44Speaker 1: President Trump's plans to dismantle the deep state, fire the
- 13:48Speaker 1: rogue bureaucrats and career politicians in Washington, and return our
- 13:52Speaker 1: government to the American people is what this is actually
- 13:55Speaker 1: all about.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Take a listen to this.
- 13:59Speaker 7: Here's my plan to dismantle the deep state and reclaim
- 14:02Speaker 7: our democracy from Washington. Corruption once and for all, and
- 14:06Speaker 7: corruption it is. First, I will immediately reissue my twenty
- 14:12Speaker 7: twenty executive Order restoring the President's authority to remove rogue bureaucrats,
- 14:17Speaker 7: and I will wield that power very aggressively. Second, we
- 14:21Speaker 7: will clean out all of the corrupt actors in our
- 14:24Speaker 7: national security and intelligence apparatus, and there are plenty of them.
- 14:29Speaker 7: The departments and agencies that have been weaponized will be
- 14:33Speaker 7: completely overhauled so that faceless bureaucrats will never again be
- 14:38Speaker 7: able to target and persecute Conservatives, Christians, or the left's
- 14:42Speaker 7: political enemies, which they're doing now at a level that
- 14:45Speaker 7: nobody can believe even possible. Third, we will totally reform
- 14:50Speaker 7: Pfizer courts, which are so corrupt that the judges seemingly
- 14:54Speaker 7: do not care when they allied to in warrant applications.
- 15:00Speaker 7: So many judges have seen so many applications that they
- 15:03Speaker 7: know were wrong, or at least they must have known,
- 15:06Speaker 7: they do nothing about it. They'll lie to Fourth, to
- 15:10Speaker 7: expose the hoaxes and abuses of power that have been
- 15:14Speaker 7: tearing our country apart, we will establish a Truth and
- 15:18Speaker 7: Reconciliation Commission to to classify and publish all documents on
- 15:23Speaker 7: deep state spying, censorship, and corruption, and there are plenty
- 15:27Speaker 7: of them. Fifth, we will launch a major crackdown on
- 15:30Speaker 7: government leakers who collude with the fake news to deliberately
- 15:35Speaker 7: weave false narratives and to subvert our government and our democracy.
- 15:41Speaker 7: When possible, we will press criminal charges. Sixth, we will
- 15:46Speaker 7: make every inspector General's office independent and physically separated from
- 15:51Speaker 7: the departments they oversee, so they do not become the
- 15:55Speaker 7: protectors of the deep state. Seventh, I will ask Congress
- 15:59Speaker 7: to establish an independent auditing system to continually monitor our
- 16:05Speaker 7: intelligence agencies to ensure they are not spying on our
- 16:09Speaker 7: citizens or running disinformation campaigns against the American people, or
- 16:14Speaker 7: that they are not spying on someone's campaign like they
- 16:18Speaker 7: spied on my campaign. Eighth, we will continue the effort
- 16:23Speaker 7: launched by the Trump administration to move parts of the
- 16:27Speaker 7: sprawling federal bureaucracy to new locations outside the Washington Swamp.
- 16:33Speaker 7: Just as I moved the Bureau of Land Management to Colorado,
- 16:37Speaker 7: as many as one hundred thousand government positions could be
- 16:41Speaker 7: moved out, and I mean immediately of Washington to places
- 16:46Speaker 7: filled with patriots who love America, and they really do
- 16:50Speaker 7: love America. Ninth, I will work to ban federal bureaucrats
- 16:54Speaker 7: from taking jobs at the companies they deal with and
- 16:58Speaker 7: that they regulate. So they deal with these companies, and
- 17:00Speaker 7: they regulate these companies, and then they want to take
- 17:03Speaker 7: jobs from these companies. Doesn't work that way. Such a
- 17:07Speaker 7: public display cannot go on, and it's taking place all
- 17:12Speaker 7: the time, like with Big Pharma. Finally, I will push
- 17:15Speaker 7: a constitutional amendment to oppose term limits on members of Congress.
- 17:20Speaker 7: This is how I will shatter the deep state and
- 17:23Speaker 7: restore government that is controlled by the people and for
- 17:28Speaker 7: the people.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Thank you very much.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I love how he just told you everything he's going
- 17:31Speaker 1: to do in three minutes straight. This is why so
- 17:35Speaker 1: many people voted for Donald Trump. I'm going to get
- 17:37Speaker 1: rid of the corrupt state. I'm going to get rid
- 17:39Speaker 1: and dismantle the deep state. I'm going to fire the
- 17:41Speaker 1: rope bureaucrats and career politicians and return our government to
- 17:44Speaker 1: the American people.
- 17:46Speaker 2: This is why people voted for him.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Let me tell you real quick about an important organization
- 17:53Speaker 1: that I want you to know about, Especially if you
- 17:57Speaker 1: carry a firearm. Everyone thinks that they're your family is safe,
- 18:01Speaker 1: but are you really As a question you need to
- 18:03Speaker 1: be asking yourself with elections coming up, anything might happen
- 18:06Speaker 1: if you dare to defend yourself with the firearm. Our
- 18:09Speaker 1: twisted legal system with activists das all over the country
- 18:13Speaker 1: will probably put you behind bars while the criminals walk free.
- 18:17Speaker 1: There's a lot of activists das that hate law abiding
- 18:20Speaker 1: citizens that carry a firearm, and that is exactly why
- 18:24Speaker 1: you need to be able to protect yourself and your family.
- 18:28Speaker 1: And that's why over eight hundred thousand Americans are now
- 18:32Speaker 1: members of the USCCA. I had to use my firearm
- 18:35Speaker 1: to save my life. I had to pull that trigger,
- 18:37Speaker 1: and boy do I wish that night when that happened,
- 18:40Speaker 1: I had someone looking out for my rights. Because not
- 18:43Speaker 1: only will you get access to their Protect your Academy
- 18:47Speaker 1: a USCCA, but you also learn vital skills like precision
- 18:51Speaker 1: shooting and how to fortify your home against criminals. But
- 18:55Speaker 1: you're also going to get access to the most important thing,
- 18:58Speaker 1: the twenty four to seven Critical Response Team and the
- 19:02Speaker 1: included benefit of self defense liability insurance to make sure
- 19:08Speaker 1: that you and your family are prepared for anything and
- 19:11Speaker 1: for a limited time. If you text the word America
- 19:15Speaker 1: to eight seven two two two, you're going to get
- 19:20Speaker 1: the uscca's free Life Saving, Concealed Carey and Family Defense
- 19:24Speaker 1: Guide that's for free and also a chance to win
- 19:27Speaker 1: seventeen hundred dollars to buy any self defense gear you
- 19:30Speaker 1: need before it's too late. All you have to do
- 19:33Speaker 1: is text the word America to eight seven two to
- 19:36Speaker 1: two right now. That's text the word America to eight
- 19:40Speaker 1: seven two two two right now.
- 19:43Speaker 4: All right.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Let me also get into some other news real quick
- 19:46Speaker 1: and as the Democrats continue to lose their minds over
- 19:50Speaker 1: Donald Trump's picks. Uh, he made another pick, and they're
- 19:54Speaker 1: going to try to, I'm sure figure out way to
- 19:55Speaker 1: lose their mind over that.
- 19:56Speaker 2: CNN breaking the news.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I love how they'd say breaking news when Donald Trump
- 20:01Speaker 1: and the Trump team is the one to announce it
- 20:04Speaker 1: like they somehow got it first. But Donald Trump has
- 20:09Speaker 1: made a pick doctor Oz for top Medicare and Medicaid post.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Take a listen, thanks Chris in another high profile name
- 20:18Speaker 1: for the new Trump administration.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Tell us more.
- 20:21Speaker 8: Yeah, not just a high profile name. Doctor Oz is
- 20:24Speaker 8: also a television star, so something that he Donald Trump
- 20:28Speaker 8: is clearly making a repetition of. Obviously, yesterday, as we announced,
- 20:32Speaker 8: he was said that he was choosing Sean Duffy, who
- 20:34Speaker 8: was the host of Fox Business as well as a
- 20:36Speaker 8: reality TV star, as the head of the Transportation Department.
- 20:40Speaker 8: Now we know that he is going to choose and
- 20:43Speaker 8: Oz as the head of centers for Medicare and Medicaid services. Now,
- 20:46Speaker 8: a couple things to note about doctor Oz. In addition
- 20:48Speaker 8: to being a television doctor, he also is somebody that
- 20:51Speaker 8: Donald Trump put up for Senate in twenty twenty two.
- 20:54Speaker 8: In Pennsylvania and lost. He was very unhappy with Doctor
- 20:58Speaker 8: Oz at that point, but obviously they cleared the air
- 21:00Speaker 8: since then since he is naming him as part of
- 21:02Speaker 8: his administration, part of the statement reads, he is an
- 21:05Speaker 8: eminent physician, heart surgeon, inventor, and world class communicator. I
- 21:09Speaker 8: really wanted to highlight that point, Jake, because as we
- 21:12Speaker 8: continue to see these names drip out, so many of
- 21:16Speaker 8: them are being chosen because Donald Trump and his team
- 21:19Speaker 8: believe that they can be an effective communicator because of
- 21:22Speaker 8: their experience on television. He wants them out there defending him,
- 21:25Speaker 8: defending the administration. He wants people who can actually communicate. Remember,
- 21:30Speaker 8: one of the ways he's choosing them is watching clips
- 21:32Speaker 8: of them on television. Obviously with doctor Oz there was
- 21:34Speaker 8: a lot to choose from there.
- 21:36Speaker 1: I love how they knock people that are on TV,
- 21:38Speaker 1: even though the people that are knocking the people right
- 21:41Speaker 1: now are literally people that are only on TV. Like,
- 21:44Speaker 1: what is Jake tapperdam besides beyond TV? What is this
- 21:47Speaker 1: chick that's talking right now? Down besides beyond TV? And
- 21:50Speaker 1: I do TV and I do radio, like that's what
- 21:53Speaker 1: I do. But like it's it's so rich to watch
- 21:56Speaker 1: people whose life goal has been to be on TV
- 21:59Speaker 1: mock people who are also on TV. It's just hysterical.
- 22:05Speaker 1: And by the way, he's like, well, I want people
- 22:06Speaker 1: that defend me. Is what they just said? No, I
- 22:08Speaker 1: think what Donald Trump wants is people that the American
- 22:12Speaker 1: people have shown that they want to listen to and
- 22:14Speaker 1: so that they can sell their ideas. One of the
- 22:16Speaker 1: things I think he learned from his last administration was
- 22:18Speaker 1: if you don't sell the ideas the American people, well,
- 22:22Speaker 1: when you're trying to make major changes, the people will
- 22:25Speaker 1: then say no to any change. And so he's learning
- 22:28Speaker 1: from I think past mistakes, like, all right, I need
- 22:30Speaker 1: great communicators in these jobs that can communicate to the
- 22:33Speaker 1: American people why it is so important to do x
- 22:37Speaker 1: Y or z U. Sean Duffy, I do his show
- 22:40Speaker 1: almost every week on Fox Business. Who's now going to
- 22:42Speaker 1: be Transportation? I think it's a great pick. The guy
- 22:44Speaker 1: also is a form member of Congress. Yes, he's done TV,
- 22:48Speaker 1: but he's a great communicator and that's part of the
- 22:50Speaker 1: reason why I think he's gotten that job. So does
- 22:53Speaker 1: it make sense for OZ to oversee centers for Medicare
- 22:56Speaker 1: and Medicaid services?
- 22:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Do I think you'll understand it because a doctor. Yes.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Do I think you can serve the president well there, yes,
- 23:03Speaker 1: instead of a bureaucrowd in there. Absolutely, And if there
- 23:07Speaker 1: are major changes that need to take place, will he
- 23:09Speaker 1: be great at telling you what those changes are?
- 23:11Speaker 2: No doubt about it.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Now, while all that's happening, I also think it's amazing.
- 23:17Speaker 2: And we have a montage I want to play for you.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Yesterday in the show, I played for you a clip
- 23:23Speaker 1: of the woman who was fired for deliberately telling her
- 23:27Speaker 1: employees to skip people that were in disaster areas who
- 23:31Speaker 1: desperately needed government help, who had Trump signs in the yard.
- 23:34Speaker 2: After a hurricane went through Florida.
- 23:37Speaker 1: She has now come out in an interview and said, well,
- 23:40Speaker 1: it wasn't just me. There was a lot of others
- 23:42Speaker 1: that were doing this, and there's a lot of these
- 23:44Speaker 1: directives that were coming from above us. For people that
- 23:47Speaker 1: either showed support for Trump out a Trumps sign, etc.
- 23:50Speaker 1: You were supposed to skip their house, give them no
- 23:52Speaker 1: government help. Can I just remind you that the media
- 23:55Speaker 1: said that any time something like this ever comes up,
- 23:58Speaker 1: that it is a conspirac theory. The media came out
- 24:04Speaker 1: when there were some early allegations and said in their headline,
- 24:07Speaker 1: I'll start with CNN, it said this Trump lies grow
- 24:11Speaker 1: around the distribution of FEMA hurricane relief.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Now we know for a fact.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Now she's been fired, and we know that it was done,
- 24:20Speaker 1: and we have the files to prove it that people
- 24:22Speaker 1: were not going and helping people with that had a
- 24:24Speaker 1: Trump's sign in their yard. And the same people that
- 24:28Speaker 1: are mocking these leaders who are getting jobs if they've
- 24:31Speaker 1: ever worked in TV where they work, are now saying
- 24:35Speaker 1: at the time, well, FEMA would never politicize emergency response. Well,
- 24:39Speaker 1: we know for a fact that that's exactly what happened,
- 24:42Speaker 1: and that they decided to screw American taxpayers who were
- 24:45Speaker 1: in catastrophic conditions from the hurricane from getting government aid. Now,
- 24:52Speaker 1: the media doesn't want you to hear what I'm about
- 24:54Speaker 1: to play, but I'm going to play it anyway, and
- 24:56Speaker 1: I want you to play this for everyone. Share this
- 24:59Speaker 1: clip on social media, Share the show on social media,
- 25:02Speaker 1: put it everywhere you are. Listen to the media telling
- 25:06Speaker 1: you it to lie, to even think that anyone at
- 25:10Speaker 1: FEMA would ever do what they actually did.
- 25:12Speaker 2: And someone has been fired for politicizing a natural disaster.
- 25:16Speaker 2: What FEMA is warning about.
- 25:18Speaker 9: The only person making an accusation that people are not
- 25:21Speaker 9: getting what they've asked for is Trump falsely claiming that
- 25:24Speaker 9: the administration is withholding resources because of political affiliations.
- 25:28Speaker 2: That is just not a hurricane Milton.
- 25:31Speaker 10: Victims in Florida may have been denied help for me
- 25:34Speaker 10: and Trump supporters.
- 25:35Speaker 2: A FEMA officier who has now been fired for telling
- 25:38Speaker 2: relief workers to bypass homes with Trump advance campaign sign.
- 25:41Speaker 11: And they then turn around and go see, FEMA's not
- 25:43Speaker 11: coming to help you because it's a Republican area, and
- 25:46Speaker 11: that people.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Go see see, no, not see. You've got to see
- 25:51Speaker 2: for the first time in your life.
- 25:52Speaker 11: If you're a mega, Donald Trump is a con man
- 25:56Speaker 11: using you, as is Mark Donald Trump's a ridiculous, pathetic liar.
- 26:02Speaker 11: While the Federal Emergency Management Agency is facing major backlash
- 26:06Speaker 11: after confirming reports that a supervisor ordered disaster relief workers
- 26:11Speaker 11: to avoid homes with Trump yard signs, what would.
- 26:14Speaker 4: You say to people propagating misinformation about the emergency response
- 26:18Speaker 4: to these storms?
- 26:19Speaker 2: We stop politicizing FEMA.
- 26:20Speaker 5: Elong Musk is hopping about the country, spewing and tweeting
- 26:24Speaker 5: political falsehoods and attacking FEMA while claiming his desire to
- 26:28Speaker 5: help the hurricane victims with free starlink access to the Internet.
- 26:32Speaker 12: Donald Trump is literally putting lives at risk right now
- 26:36Speaker 12: if you can't trust FEMA and trust basic weather reports,
- 26:41Speaker 12: for example, which he's questioned in the past.
- 26:43Speaker 10: Elon Musk, the richest man in the world and top
- 26:46Speaker 10: Trump ally has also pushed lies about the hurricane to
- 26:50Speaker 10: his millions of followers on the social media platform.
- 26:53Speaker 2: He owns now.
- 26:54Speaker 12: Unfortunately, tragically, quite frankly, it is politicized.
- 26:58Speaker 9: Only person who is politicizing this is Donald Trump. He
- 27:01Speaker 9: is the one. I'm I doing it.
- 27:02Speaker 13: The Daily Wire obtained private messages showing a FEMA official
- 27:06Speaker 13: instructing hurricane relief workers there to avoid homes with Trump.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Signs before Hurricane Milton's even made landfall.
- 27:13Speaker 2: The form president is already.
- 27:15Speaker 10: And for the second time in almost as many weeks,
- 27:17Speaker 10: politicized the federal response BOK.
- 27:19Speaker 5: Situations like this, where people desperately do need help, should
- 27:22Speaker 5: not be politicized.
- 27:24Speaker 4: This kind of misinformation is making people fear that the
- 27:27Speaker 4: government is not going to be there to help them
- 27:29Speaker 4: when they are Politics and the rampant disinformation that's being
- 27:34Speaker 4: peddled by Donald Trump and some Republicans.
- 27:36Speaker 10: This is what a FEMA spokesperson said. They posted this
- 27:38Speaker 10: on x FEMA has what it needs for immediate response
- 27:41Speaker 10: and recovery efforts, but there's all of that. We're just
- 27:45Speaker 10: sort of lost at sea and this tide of disinformation.
- 27:48Speaker 11: Secultary of Homeland Security warned FEMA is running out of MONEYHEMA.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Does not have the funds to make it through the season.
- 27:56Speaker 9: Why does Donald Trump continue to to insist on politicizing
- 28:02Speaker 9: the storm?
- 28:02Speaker 4: He was politicizing this hurricane response, saying that it's been
- 28:06Speaker 4: a terrible response from the White House.
- 28:08Speaker 10: Donald Trump wasted little time politicizing this strgedy even further
- 28:12Speaker 10: than he already has.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Trump again trying to politicize the response to the hurricane bid.
- 28:18Speaker 2: The administration is effectively handling this. They're just not politicizing
- 28:21Speaker 2: it as Donald Trump is.
- 28:22Speaker 13: About twenty damaged homes were reportedly ignored by FEMA because
- 28:27Speaker 13: of the residents political affiliation. FEMA is now handing over
- 28:31Speaker 13: the matter to the Office of Special Counsel.
- 28:34Speaker 1: These people are liars, they're scumbags, they're frauds. Never forget
- 28:40Speaker 1: how much the media will lie to you on a
- 28:43Speaker 1: daily basis. Make sure you share this podcast wherever you
- 28:47Speaker 1: can so people can hear what I just played for you,
- 28:49Speaker 1: and I'll see it back here tomorrow
