Roger Louis Portz, a beloved husband, father, and veteran, passed away at 86, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, adventure, and quiet wisdom. A devoted Army National Guard Captain and longtime True Oil Company employee, he lived life fully—bowling, camping, fishing, and sipping scotch on the porch while sharing stories that captivated all who heard them. Survived by his brother, four children, and a growing circle of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Roger’s sharp mind and calming presence will be deeply missed. A service to honor his life will be held at the Oregon Trail Veterans…
