- 1:47Speaker 4: wad of the water up.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on.
- 1:59Speaker 5: You'll think ah, I said, Well, good morning, everybody. You
- 2:05Speaker 5: are listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 5: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Man o, man o man. I thank God for it.
- 2:17Speaker 5: I thank God for all he's done for me, for
- 2:21Speaker 5: all the little things that I oftentimes failed to thank
- 2:25Speaker 5: him for that I take for granted for you know,
- 2:30Speaker 5: I was talking the other day to a buddy of mine.
- 2:35Speaker 5: We had gotten to this conversation about God and and
- 2:41Speaker 5: in the conversation we had narrowed it down and we
- 2:43Speaker 5: were talking about changing the way we are as people.
- 2:47Speaker 5: You know that everybody has to change. You know, nothing
- 2:51Speaker 5: stays the same. Everybody changes, and a lot of these
- 2:56Speaker 5: changes can be for the good, and a lot of
- 2:59Speaker 5: them are just They come with time.
- 3:01Speaker 6: You know.
- 3:01Speaker 5: Sometimes it's aging that changes us. But no matter how
- 3:05Speaker 5: old you get, you still have the ability to improve
- 3:11Speaker 5: as a person. You may not have the footspeed you
- 3:15Speaker 5: used to have. You may not be as agile as
- 3:19Speaker 5: you used to be. Your energy level may not be
- 3:24Speaker 5: what it used to be. Your desire to do some
- 3:28Speaker 5: of the things that you used to do may be gone.
- 3:33Speaker 1: The thing that.
- 3:36Speaker 5: Doesn't have to change and will not change is you.
- 3:41Speaker 5: You have the ability to continue to grow as a person,
- 3:48Speaker 5: even when far the time and nature has taken its course.
- 3:55Speaker 5: We were talking about everybody can change and everybody has
- 4:05Speaker 5: the right to reinvent themselves as they get older. And
- 4:11Speaker 5: I equated it to jumping out of an airplane. You know,
- 4:16Speaker 5: there are some people man who get to a certain
- 4:18Speaker 5: point in their life and they and they jump from
- 4:21Speaker 5: the airplane is now almost a stunt of some kind.
- 4:27Speaker 5: It's almost like they lifed and got out of control.
- 4:30Speaker 5: You ever seen somebody jump out an airplane and the
- 4:33Speaker 5: parachute don't open and they life start and it seems
- 4:36Speaker 5: like they start spinning and tumbling and they can't get
- 4:39Speaker 5: it together. And I've seen some mid air rescues before.
- 4:43Speaker 5: But then there are times when you know when it
- 4:46Speaker 5: hasn't worked. You know you jump out that airplane, and
- 4:49Speaker 5: at first it's fun. I've never scot dived before, but
- 4:54Speaker 5: I would imagine when you first jump out of an
- 4:57Speaker 5: airplane that they people describe it as a a sense
- 5:00Speaker 5: of being free. And it's exhilarating when you first jump
- 5:05Speaker 5: out the plane. But if you pull that cord and
- 5:09Speaker 5: nothing happens. It never happened to me, but I can
- 5:12Speaker 5: only imagine the panic that's got to set in because
- 5:18Speaker 5: no matter how fun it was a moment ago, the
- 5:21Speaker 5: flying over to one another, the holding hands in the air,
- 5:25Speaker 5: the breeze, the descent, the feeling of all of a sudden,
- 5:32Speaker 5: if you reach for that cord and it's not there,
- 5:35Speaker 5: you're suddenly spinning out of control.
- 5:38Speaker 1: And that's what happens in a lot of people's lives.
- 5:41Speaker 5: When you first start your life, you jump out the plane,
- 5:44Speaker 5: You free, You young, you ain't got nothing to worry
- 5:46Speaker 5: about it. But then you get to a certain point
- 5:48Speaker 5: in your life when you go, okay, I'm gonna.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Pull the cord now.
- 5:53Speaker 5: And pulling the cord is an important thing because here's
- 5:57Speaker 5: the analogy my friend gave me. He said, man, use
- 6:03Speaker 5: your mind like a parachute. It works better when it's open. Well,
- 6:09Speaker 5: see what happens with a lot of people is they
- 6:13Speaker 5: in life. They jump out the plane and they and
- 6:18Speaker 5: they having this free fall and it's fun for now.
- 6:22Speaker 5: But they get to a certain point in their life
- 6:24Speaker 5: where they got themself in a situation, or they've had
- 6:27Speaker 5: a little bit too much fun a little bit too long,
- 6:30Speaker 5: or you know, they wasn't open to nothing and they
- 6:33Speaker 5: just did what they wanted to do, or they started
- 6:35Speaker 5: getting involved with drugs or drinking, or started running with
- 6:38Speaker 5: the wrong people.
- 6:39Speaker 7: See, you jump out the plane. At first, you're free
- 6:41Speaker 7: falling this fun.
- 6:43Speaker 5: But then after a minute, man, something happens and they
- 6:45Speaker 5: realize whoa and they reach for the cord, and the
- 6:48Speaker 5: chord don't work. Well, now you're in the panic stricken situation.
- 6:52Speaker 5: And my suggesting that what I've learned from the analogy
- 6:55Speaker 5: that my friends shared with me is that we all
- 6:58Speaker 5: the sooner we can open our mind to God, the
- 7:02Speaker 5: sooner we could develop that relationship with him. It's like
- 7:06Speaker 5: pulling the chord and opening a parachute. If you open
- 7:11Speaker 5: up your mind to God, God is like a parachute.
- 7:16Speaker 5: You know, God can slow your descent. God can turn
- 7:20Speaker 5: this out of control freefall into a nice ride for you. See,
- 7:27Speaker 5: that's what happened to me. I was spinning out of control.
- 7:32Speaker 5: I had gotten myself into a point man where I
- 7:36Speaker 5: wasn't doing real good.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Oh y'all would.
- 7:39Speaker 5: Look at me and think, man, Stevie Man, Now I
- 7:44Speaker 5: wasn't doing real good. I had spun out of control.
- 7:48Speaker 5: I was in a free fall, and I reached for
- 7:52Speaker 5: the chord, but I was so far away the chord
- 7:55Speaker 5: didn't open. Then I went to him and I pulled
- 7:57Speaker 5: the chord. When I went to God, I pulled the
- 8:01Speaker 5: cord and open, and he slowed my descent.
- 8:05Speaker 7: And this is what I just believe.
- 8:07Speaker 5: I don't believe now that I age as fast as
- 8:10Speaker 5: I was aging, because I got that parachute open. Now,
- 8:13Speaker 5: you know, I take better care of myself, eating, I
- 8:15Speaker 5: work out more. Now you know, I'm not out of control.
- 8:19Speaker 5: I have a direction now that win. Then got up
- 8:23Speaker 5: under that parachute a little bit, you know, And now
- 8:26Speaker 5: I'm I'm going You know, I'm still getting older, you
- 8:30Speaker 5: know so, But the descent is so slow. Now I'm
- 8:33Speaker 5: able to enjoy the ride. I'm guiding my parachute over.
- 8:37Speaker 5: Sometimes we go over to to a vacation spot over here,
- 8:41Speaker 5: we float back over to it. But you know, I'm
- 8:43Speaker 5: still getting old. I'm still going going down. But the
- 8:47Speaker 5: descent because I've opened my mind to God, the parachute
- 8:52Speaker 5: has slowed my descent. And now I'm rocking back and forth.
- 8:57Speaker 5: But I ain't spending out of control no more. You know,
- 9:00Speaker 5: I'm able to enjoy the view.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Now.
- 9:03Speaker 5: You know, when you jump out that plane and you
- 9:05Speaker 5: pull that cord and it don't work, you ain't looking
- 9:07Speaker 5: at the view no more. You're thinking of only one thing.
- 9:10Speaker 5: How can I slow this down? Well, now I'm able
- 9:12Speaker 5: to enjoy the view. I'm able to see all the
- 9:16Speaker 5: beautiful things on the horizon that God has for me.
- 9:19Speaker 5: I'm able to see all the beautiful things around me
- 9:22Speaker 5: that He's provided for me over these years. Because I've
- 9:26Speaker 5: slowed my descent. I use my mind like a parachute.
- 9:31Speaker 5: It works better when it's open. Open your mind to God,
- 9:35Speaker 5: and so you can see the view, so you can
- 9:38Speaker 5: slow the descent, so you can stop the out of
- 9:41Speaker 5: control free fall that you've been on. That you can
- 9:44Speaker 5: get your life together and see everything out on the
- 9:47Speaker 5: horizon that God has for you. You know, it turned
- 9:50Speaker 5: out to be a very true statement your mind. If
- 9:53Speaker 5: you use it like a parachute. It works better when
- 9:56Speaker 5: it's open.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Y'all's shop.
- 10:02Speaker 8: Wake up, wake up, wake up, rising shine, give yourself
- 10:04Speaker 8: that stretch that morning, yawning, sit on the edge of
- 10:07Speaker 8: the bed, thank the man, and then you got to
- 10:09Speaker 8: get up, get out and get something. It is the
- 10:12Speaker 8: Steve Harvey Morning Show. It's in neph you holding it
- 10:14Speaker 8: down along with the crew. Do it by yourself. The
- 10:17Speaker 8: one new food. Shirley Strawberry, call her fair Mississippi Monica,
- 10:21Speaker 8: and kill junior boy Spates. We are in the building
- 10:25Speaker 8: on this grade, getting up Tuesday, fair, the well, fair,
- 10:30Speaker 8: the well, on this great getting.
- 10:32Speaker 7: Up on Tuesday.
- 10:35Speaker 1: See well, week is gone by.
- 10:37Speaker 7: Yes, well, let's as you go. You hear week is
- 10:40Speaker 7: gone by?
- 10:41Speaker 1: She goes.
- 10:42Speaker 7: All I have said on our way to this year
- 10:44Speaker 7: gone by? She on no way to it?
- 10:46Speaker 1: All right, I have nothing. I believe. I believe it, okay,
- 10:51Speaker 1: because it's happening. It's just January. January is almost out
- 10:57Speaker 1: of here until we get to February.
- 11:01Speaker 4: Watch what happened, and Tommy says, then we march on
- 11:06Speaker 4: into April and may.
- 11:07Speaker 8: Oh baby, if I could just make it to January
- 11:10Speaker 8: in fifty eight, I can march on through the April
- 11:14Speaker 8: in May.
- 11:15Speaker 7: I didn't know what none of that meant.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Now you know, you good?
- 11:24Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 11:24Speaker 7: I got a little bit. I pulled something in my back. Man,
- 11:26Speaker 7: I don't know what I did.
- 11:28Speaker 8: What were you doing playing golf and probably and of
- 11:31Speaker 8: course playing wrong? So I think I pulled something real bad.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Wow, I thought you something? Yeah, boring.
- 11:44Speaker 7: I don't have those naked excitement events anymore.
- 11:47Speaker 1: It's all as I got older.
- 11:51Speaker 7: You know, you know I used to have a party
- 11:54Speaker 7: foul chicken wing and biscuit booty run. I used to
- 12:00Speaker 7: have some great moments in my life.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I did shadow of yourself?
- 12:06Speaker 7: What naked slide?
- 12:07Speaker 2: Well?
- 12:07Speaker 8: I used to put plastic down in the living room
- 12:09Speaker 8: and put baby all and stuff on and just slide.
- 12:11Speaker 7: I used to do some nice things.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Man.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Maybe that's why you got back problems. You probably had
- 12:15Speaker 3: one back then, didn't know or you need to do
- 12:19Speaker 3: it some more so your back will stretch out.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, it's a stretch first.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:26Speaker 7: More.
- 12:26Speaker 8: You let Jackie walk in there and see some plastic
- 12:28Speaker 8: land on their floor talking about we've finished slides.
- 12:30Speaker 7: You're gonna be your lust, your damn man.
- 12:33Speaker 1: All that's over. These days are gone. Yes, those days agne,
- 12:41Speaker 1: But that's funny.
- 12:43Speaker 8: That's a good day. We're gonna make it a good day.
- 12:45Speaker 8: We're gonna have a good day. We're gonna have a
- 12:46Speaker 8: good week. We're gonna have a good month. We're gonna
- 12:48Speaker 8: have a good year. Go ride it out.
- 12:50Speaker 7: We're gonna make twenty twenty four the best thing in
- 12:52Speaker 7: the world. That's what we're gonna do.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Claiming about that, Sorry, I like it.
- 12:55Speaker 2: I love that.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Yeah, that's wonderful.
- 12:58Speaker 8: I'm getting over the Texas. I'm getting over that. I'm
- 13:01Speaker 8: getting over that we are no longer in the playoffs.
- 13:03Speaker 8: I'm getting over that we don't have no choice.
- 13:05Speaker 1: You don't have a choice in your mind, like we
- 13:08Speaker 1: could just go back in. We're gonna in, don't we out.
- 13:12Speaker 8: I didn't think, No, I never thought all the way.
- 13:14Speaker 8: Never did I think that. No, I didn't get my
- 13:16Speaker 8: feelings that caught up into it. But you didn't believe all. Yeah, Well,
- 13:21Speaker 8: I'm sorry. If they listening, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. No,
- 13:26Speaker 8: I did not believe all the way. You did good,
- 13:28Speaker 8: what you got, you did, You're real good, right, Troy God.
- 13:35Speaker 1: All right, good morning.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:39Speaker 4: hear from a nephew as he runs that prank back
- 13:42Speaker 4: right after this you're listening.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Morning show.
- 13:47Speaker 4: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:49Speaker 4: prank back.
- 13:50Speaker 8: What you got for his neph We got Chopper's funeral
- 13:53Speaker 8: at the club. Chappa's funeral at the club. Man all
- 13:56Speaker 8: to have his funeral where he hung out the most.
- 13:58Speaker 8: Let's go get dog Chapples funeral at the club. Uh yeah,
- 14:04Speaker 8: I'm trying to reach uh James.
- 14:06Speaker 9: James, Yeah, Yeah, what's up?
- 14:09Speaker 8: Hey, This this is Gerald. I was a friend of uh,
- 14:14Speaker 8: your friend Chapel. Yeah, Chopper just uh passed away last week, right.
- 14:23Speaker 7: Uh.
- 14:23Speaker 8: I know they supposed to have a funeral and stuff
- 14:25Speaker 8: over at at my Baptist church. And uh, I don't
- 14:30Speaker 8: really know you, but me and me and Chopper and
- 14:32Speaker 8: a bunch of the rest of use. Man, we used
- 14:33Speaker 8: to hang out at the club not too far from
- 14:36Speaker 8: the house. You know, That's pretty much where Chopper was
- 14:38Speaker 8: all the time at the club. Anyway, what a bunch
- 14:41Speaker 8: of us was over at the club talking man and
- 14:43Speaker 8: I was we was really want to reach out to
- 14:46Speaker 8: one of the family members, you know, and then somebody
- 14:48Speaker 8: said you was, you know, kind of a good friend
- 14:50Speaker 8: of his, and we decided to call you and see
- 14:55Speaker 8: if you didn't mind. Do you think that you can
- 14:58Speaker 8: talk to uh, some of the family members and see
- 15:03Speaker 8: if they don't mind having the funeral.
- 15:06Speaker 7: At the club.
- 15:07Speaker 9: At the club.
- 15:08Speaker 7: Let me let me try to explain something to you, Jane.
- 15:11Speaker 7: What we're trying to do is, see, we believe that,
- 15:14Speaker 7: we believe you said.
- 15:15Speaker 9: At the club. Come on, the club is a funeral,
- 15:19Speaker 9: and I understand it.
- 15:20Speaker 8: But see, see Choppel, Chopper ain't really go to church
- 15:24Speaker 8: a whole lot. You know what I'm saying, He ain't
- 15:25Speaker 8: really really go as long as I've been knowing him. Now,
- 15:28Speaker 8: he loved the Lord and stuff like that.
- 15:30Speaker 9: Well, but these are church going folks.
- 15:34Speaker 7: I understand.
- 15:34Speaker 8: But see, Chapel wouldn't Chapel when Chapel went to the club.
- 15:39Speaker 8: So what I'm asking you is, let's have the funeral
- 15:42Speaker 8: at the club.
- 15:43Speaker 9: Hell no, bro, come on, we can't have no funeral
- 15:47Speaker 9: at no club, man, Come on, No, no, I can't.
- 15:51Speaker 8: But what I'm saying is thought is that he wasn't
- 15:54Speaker 8: really he wasn't really, No church going person. I believe
- 15:58Speaker 8: that a person ought to be uh, the last words
- 16:02Speaker 8: are to be said over him in a place he's
- 16:05Speaker 8: more familiar with. You know what I'm saying?
- 16:07Speaker 9: A player?
- 16:07Speaker 10: Player?
- 16:08Speaker 9: No, I don't. I don't know what you mean. Now,
- 16:11Speaker 9: just just gotta be a funeral. This, this is this
- 16:13Speaker 9: is church for I go to church and all my
- 16:15Speaker 9: folks go to church. Now we got to do this
- 16:17Speaker 9: thing up in church. This, this is a church thing.
- 16:19Speaker 8: But you don't, you don't feel But do you understand
- 16:21Speaker 8: where I'm coming from? Know that man ought to gone
- 16:23Speaker 8: on and and the last words are to be in
- 16:26Speaker 8: a place he more familiar with. Now, if he went
- 16:28Speaker 8: to church, then I understand that you said, oh bro, hell.
- 16:31Speaker 9: No no, See, it's his chance to get itself right.
- 16:35Speaker 9: And we don't. We don't have him up in church
- 16:37Speaker 9: in front of everybody. You know, that don't make sense?
- 16:41Speaker 9: Who's this again? I mean, who are you?
- 16:43Speaker 1: My name is Jered, but.
- 16:45Speaker 9: Who is Gerald?
- 16:45Speaker 1: I mean?
- 16:46Speaker 7: How do you?
- 16:47Speaker 9: How do you relate to this? Are you a preacher?
- 16:49Speaker 2: Or are you not?
- 16:50Speaker 10: Are you? No?
- 16:51Speaker 8: No, no, no, I'm I'm I was friends with Chopper
- 16:54Speaker 8: and see I hung out at the club and still
- 16:56Speaker 8: hang out there with a whole bunch of us, you know,
- 17:00Speaker 8: good friends with Chopper, and we were saying that, you know, Chops,
- 17:04Speaker 8: the last words about Chappel or to be said at
- 17:07Speaker 8: the club, because see, that's what Chopper was about, five
- 17:09Speaker 8: six days a week.
- 17:10Speaker 1: That's what Chapel was.
- 17:11Speaker 9: Yeah, but what church are you affiliated with?
- 17:14Speaker 10: I mean, what, what?
- 17:15Speaker 9: Why the hell would I I try to talk to
- 17:18Speaker 9: the family, make me look stupid in front of the family,
- 17:20Speaker 9: telling them to put this thing in the club.
- 17:22Speaker 11: How is that gonna go off?
- 17:24Speaker 7: Well? See, see that's what I'm saying.
- 17:25Speaker 1: You know them way more.
- 17:27Speaker 9: Than we do, because you're talking about trying to move
- 17:30Speaker 9: from a damn funeral at a church to a damn
- 17:32Speaker 9: nightclub or a strip club or something.
- 17:34Speaker 7: Not no strip club, just a nightclub.
- 17:38Speaker 9: I mean you talking about faving folks travel from across
- 17:42Speaker 9: the country and meeting in the damn club.
- 17:45Speaker 10: What kind of that?
- 17:46Speaker 1: But that's what Chapel was. That's what Chapel was.
- 17:48Speaker 9: How I'm gonna look if I'm the one telling them
- 17:51Speaker 9: to rut to the damn club.
- 17:53Speaker 7: You're gonna look like somebody that's trying to.
- 17:55Speaker 9: I'm gonna look like a fool no, you're not.
- 17:57Speaker 7: You're gonna look like somebody's trying to keep it real.
- 18:00Speaker 9: Come to the damn funeral. If I was to do
- 18:02Speaker 9: something like that.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Okay, okay, let me ask you this hit in.
- 18:05Speaker 8: Let me ask you this here, Jane, do you think
- 18:08Speaker 8: do you think you can maybe get the body and
- 18:11Speaker 8: bring it over to the club now, well, just saying
- 18:16Speaker 8: before they even do the funeral or whatever.
- 18:18Speaker 9: Hell no, I ain't touching getting the walk in the
- 18:22Speaker 9: dog by myself. Don't touch the body for hell now, we're.
- 18:27Speaker 8: Just trying to say our last words at chopp a
- 18:29Speaker 8: man in the place that Chopper moment.
- 18:31Speaker 9: No help again. You you get my number?
- 18:35Speaker 1: Somebody at the club had your number, said you was print.
- 18:38Speaker 10: But why do y'all call me?
- 18:40Speaker 9: Of all folks, y'all call.
- 18:42Speaker 7: They say you good. You in with the family, and
- 18:45Speaker 7: you can tell.
- 18:45Speaker 10: Me in with the family.

- 53:52Speaker 1: It could be yours.
- 53:54Speaker 7: Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 53:55Speaker 1: We got it for you.
- 53:55Speaker 9: Here.
- 53:56Speaker 1: It is a strawberry letter, Thank you nephew.
- 53:59Speaker 4: Subject she is only sexy outside of our house. Dear
- 54:07Speaker 4: Stephen Shirley. As a man, I'm ashamed to write you
- 54:10Speaker 4: for help, but I don't want to do I don't
- 54:13Speaker 4: know what to do with my girlfriend. I met her
- 54:15Speaker 4: at a cookout and we bond it instantly because we
- 54:17Speaker 4: have a lot of mutual friends. She was gorgeous and
- 54:21Speaker 4: had white toenail polish, glowing skin, and flowing hair. We've
- 54:26Speaker 4: been together for almost two years, and I moved in
- 54:29Speaker 4: with her because we were spending every night together. Anyway,
- 54:32Speaker 4: I pay all the household expenses as a man, I
- 54:36Speaker 4: know I'm supposed to do that, but I mentioned it
- 54:38Speaker 4: for a reason. I'm handling all of the bills and
- 54:41Speaker 4: her cars paid for. She might buy the grocery sometimes,
- 54:45Speaker 4: but usually she puts them on my amex, so that
- 54:48Speaker 4: leads me to believe that she is stacking her money, and.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I'm cool with that.
- 54:52Speaker 4: But there are a few things she needs to do
- 54:54Speaker 4: with her paycheck, like get her hair done regularly, keep
- 54:59Speaker 4: her toes and her ni as done, put on lotion,
- 55:01Speaker 4: and buy some better pajamas and play clothes to wear
- 55:05Speaker 4: around the house. I can't come home from work one
- 55:07Speaker 4: more day and see her in a grandma robe with
- 55:10Speaker 4: a bonnet on her head. She has one brown toenail,
- 55:13Speaker 4: and I never saw it before we started living together
- 55:16Speaker 4: because she kept her feet done. Now I'm getting the
- 55:19Speaker 4: unedited version of this woman. It was a shock because
- 55:23Speaker 4: it happened all at once. I'm glad she's comfortable around me,
- 55:26Speaker 4: but this is not how I imagine living with her
- 55:29Speaker 4: would be. She used to bring lingerie to my house
- 55:32Speaker 4: when she spent the night, and now it's just sitting
- 55:34Speaker 4: in her drawer. But when it's date night or we
- 55:37Speaker 4: hang out with our friends, she's a movie star again.
- 55:40Speaker 4: And the weave is right, the dress is tight, and
- 55:43Speaker 4: the toes are white. How do I tell my girlfriend
- 55:46Speaker 4: that I want her to be sexy inside the house
- 55:49Speaker 4: without offending her?
- 55:51Speaker 1: Wow, what a nice guy you are.
- 55:54Speaker 4: And I'll say this, you're still there after two years
- 55:58Speaker 4: of this, and you don't say you're cheating or anything.
- 56:02Speaker 4: So there's hope for you guys. Okay, uh, but it
- 56:05Speaker 4: is time to have that talk with her because you're
- 56:07Speaker 4: getting fed up and you're getting frustrated. That's why you
- 56:10Speaker 4: wrote us. You tell her just like you told us
- 56:14Speaker 4: in the letter. Nothing you said was mean, nothing you
- 56:17Speaker 4: said was hurtful.
- 56:18Speaker 1: It's just facts.
- 56:19Speaker 4: It's how you feel the same way she got you.
- 56:21Speaker 4: And you sound like a really nice guy. You sound
- 56:24Speaker 4: like a very generous guy. You pay all the bills.
- 56:27Speaker 4: I mean, what more can a woman ask for? I mean, seriously,
- 56:30Speaker 4: you sound like a great guy. She should try and
- 56:33Speaker 4: keep you. And we all know that men are visual.
- 56:36Speaker 4: You don't want to give him a reason to start
- 56:39Speaker 4: visualizing himself with another woman, now, do you. She's not
- 56:43Speaker 4: taking care of herself. We get that no one is perfect, Okay,
- 56:46Speaker 4: we got all that. Meaning some days you might, you know,
- 56:49Speaker 4: be around the house with no makeup or or your
- 56:51Speaker 4: hair might not be on or freshly done. But we
- 56:55Speaker 4: still know how to keep ourselves presentable and desirable in
- 56:58Speaker 4: and out of the house. That's why you have to
- 57:00Speaker 4: let her know what you're thinking. When you guys are
- 57:03Speaker 4: out and she's looking like a movie star, you say,
- 57:06Speaker 4: tell her then how much you know you appreciate her
- 57:09Speaker 4: and all of that. Basically, what you're saying is she's slipping.
- 57:13Speaker 4: She needs a step her game up. She's taking you
- 57:15Speaker 4: for granted, but you're telling her in a nice, gentlemanly way.
- 57:18Speaker 4: Hopefully she'll receive it in that way in which you attended.
- 57:22Speaker 4: Because if things don't change, it sounds like to me,
- 57:24Speaker 4: you're gonna be out of there pretty soon.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Tommy.
- 57:27Speaker 7: We got to fix this brown toenail. We got to
- 57:32Speaker 7: fix this toenail. I'm sorry.
- 57:34Speaker 8: We got it to fix that. What we cannot do
- 57:37Speaker 8: is see that again. Okay, we got to fix that.
- 57:41Speaker 8: So this is what I need you to do, Patner.
- 57:43Speaker 8: One night when y'all sleep, pull them sheets back and
- 57:46Speaker 8: get you some white spray paint and get to that
- 57:49Speaker 8: little toe, whatever toe that is that brown.
- 57:51Speaker 7: We got to fix that. We cannot see that ever again.
- 57:55Speaker 7: I'll get you some of that.
- 57:58Speaker 8: What we used to do when we when we used
- 58:00Speaker 8: to type that liquid paper with that white stuff with paper. Yeah,
- 58:04Speaker 8: you gotta put something. You gotta damn something on now,
- 58:07Speaker 8: because we got the damn you need.
- 58:10Speaker 7: That's strong.
- 58:11Speaker 8: We want, we want something. I ain't gonna come off call.
- 58:13Speaker 8: What we can't do is see that brown nail ever again.
- 58:16Speaker 8: We got to fix that. That's a big turn off. Secondly,
- 58:21Speaker 8: you are you are y'all acting like y'all married, all right,
- 58:25Speaker 8: because y'all been together two years. You're living together, but
- 58:27Speaker 8: you're not married.
- 58:28Speaker 7: So you basically you what's happening, young man, is you're
- 58:32Speaker 7: seeing what all of us men who are being married.
- 58:35Speaker 8: Now, this is what we always see. So welcome to
- 58:37Speaker 8: the club. We always see. Oh, we see what they
- 58:39Speaker 8: read it look like, we see it.
- 58:41Speaker 1: We see it in the.
- 58:44Speaker 7: Hey, hey, hey, I'm answering this part right here. I'm
- 58:47Speaker 7: talking to the boy.
- 58:52Speaker 8: We see, we see what well, we see what the
- 58:56Speaker 8: ladies really look like when they take everything off and
- 58:59Speaker 8: make up is gone and the ha it's down and
- 59:01Speaker 8: it's just them.
- 59:02Speaker 7: We see that.
- 59:03Speaker 8: And then we also see that transformation and they come
- 59:06Speaker 8: out of there and just be walking around at the
- 59:08Speaker 8: club or or the restaurant.
- 59:10Speaker 7: You'd be like, that is not her, that is not
- 59:13Speaker 7: who she.
- 59:13Speaker 2: Heals.
- 59:17Speaker 8: We didn't help y'all put that spank on and everything. Well,
- 59:20Speaker 8: I've done it. I haven't done it, yes, And I'm
- 59:25Speaker 8: so glad. I'm so glad that they start making that
- 59:28Speaker 8: spank where you can you don't have to take it
- 59:31Speaker 8: off to go to the bathroom.
- 59:32Speaker 1: I'm so glad because I.
- 59:35Speaker 4: Because men wear spanks too.
- 59:36Speaker 8: You know, that's not what we talk about while we're
- 59:39Speaker 8: talking to the boy. Don't need to be hearing that.
- 59:43Speaker 8: The boy don't need to be hearing that. All I
- 59:45Speaker 8: can say to you is you're seeing your woman in
- 59:48Speaker 8: the raw. You can ask her about changing some things up.
- 59:51Speaker 8: But if she walking around there, she don't want to
- 59:53Speaker 8: buy no new play clothes. You don't want to win,
- 59:54Speaker 8: no lingerie. You might need to really think about. It's
- 59:57Speaker 8: just a relationship. You won't because it ain't gonna get better.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: It is what it is. Yeah, but it is what
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: it is. It's not gonna get better. He's getting frustrated.
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: It's gonna get rawer. It's gonna get raw. It's something else.
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: You don't know about it. It just ain't showed up yet.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Keep looking, all right.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: Uh, we'll have part two of our Strawberry letter coming
- 1:00:16Speaker 4: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's subject
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: she is only sexy outside of our house, and we'll
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: get back into it right after this. You're listening hard
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: morning show. All right, guys, it's time to recap today's
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: strawberry letter. The subject that she is only outside of
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: our house. The man wrote, in. He's ashamed to write us,
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: he says, because he's a man, but he doesn't know
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: what to do with this girl. He met her at
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: a cookout. She was beautiful. Her hair was flowing, her
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: skin was glowing, she had beautiful toes, all of that
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: white polish on her toes, everything, he said. They've been
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: together for almost two years and they live together now.
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: But at the house she's broken all the way down.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: She wears a robe, a granny robe and a bonnet
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: at the house. One of her toenails is brown. He
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: pays all the bills, takes care of everything. She might
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: buy some groceries every once in a while with his
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: AMEX card.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: That's how good she's got it. But he's complaining now.
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: He's upset because the way she looks around the house,
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: and we all know men are visual.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: He doesn't like it.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: She could at least, he said, keep her feet done,
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: take the money that she's stacking because he's paying all
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: the bills, and go get her hair done.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: All of that. She's not doing that.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: He's frustrated. That's why he's writing in. He's saying, how
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: does he tell his girlfriend that he wants her to
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: be sexy inside the house without offending her junior.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: You know what, that's just be honest.
- 1:01:49Speaker 13: Come on now, sure car just beyondest Now, hey, hey man,
- 1:01:53Speaker 13: let me ask you this. Since you got all these
- 1:01:54Speaker 13: things you want to say about this lady, hey man,
- 1:01:56Speaker 13: what you look like?
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Right right? God's real?
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Because if she got all this wrong with her, what
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: you look like? I mean, you know what, you just
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: only into the image of this girl.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: That's it.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: That's all you told us about. But you ain't talk
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: about her substance stuff because you've been there two years.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: I don't stay nowhere two years less I'm getting something
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: out of it. Is she a kind person? Does she
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: respect people? Does she respect you? Does she take care
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: of you?
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: See?
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: She ain't the only one eating the grocery she put
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: on your amex? Remember you moved in?
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: No, you moved in.
- 1:02:39Speaker 14: Remember you said you told her you moved in with her.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: She was already established.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: You moved in.
- 1:02:45Speaker 13: Now you want credit for doing the things that we
- 1:02:47Speaker 13: have to do with me and Tommy and everybody ever
- 1:02:49Speaker 13: man do But see you playing house?
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: We actually have one.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: We're in it.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: Uh huh. We can't sit up here, I can't sit
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: up here. And play like I'm married. No, I actually am,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you sir, get the chance to actually play like you married.
- 1:03:04Speaker 13: And then you want to tell me about all the
- 1:03:05Speaker 13: things that you're doing, paying the bills and all the
- 1:03:07Speaker 13: type of stuff.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you know what, that.
- 1:03:09Speaker 13: Don't mean nothing to me if you ain't married to
- 1:03:11Speaker 13: because you know what, you at her house because guess what.
- 1:03:13Speaker 13: And any day when she get up with the with
- 1:03:15Speaker 13: the hair and the bonnet and the row, get.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Your hands side and you got to go because you
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: ain't married.
- 1:03:26Speaker 13: You never told us anything about this lady other than
- 1:03:29Speaker 13: with your the brown toe. That that's your biggest problem.
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: That's a problem for me.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Ahead she.
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: Can't rub that toe against me. I'm just telling you,
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: I cannot rub that toe up against me.
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: Stupid.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: No, No, that's but I understand talking about that's his
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: biggest problem. Okay, cool, But you've.
- 1:03:53Speaker 13: Been in that two years with the same brown toe.
- 1:03:57Speaker 13: That's what I'm trying to figure out. That two years
- 1:04:00Speaker 13: with the brother. You just not noticing the two years
- 1:04:02Speaker 13: later the brown don't.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Now he's just had it. No, no, but tell me
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: something about her that you like instead of the complaints.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: That's all he likes her outside. He likes your outside.
- 1:04:15Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, I mean know what, you know, my wife
- 1:04:16Speaker 13: don't look superstar model every day when she in here.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: You know, nobody lives all day long. That's unrealistic. Yeah.
- 1:04:25Speaker 14: Oh but when she stepped out, she missed spaces.
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: Yes, Junior said, he just keep her outside if you
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: keep moving, just moving.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: The National Park. Just live outside.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: We are we out.
- 1:04:43Speaker 14: That's all you need to really do. Just stay outside.
- 1:04:46Speaker 13: You complaining for us about if she looked outside, didn't
- 1:04:49Speaker 13: keep it dark or keep it light outside a moment ago?
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: Something?
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: Is it?
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: That's all?
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: So you want to hear more about the woman than
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: just ye.
- 1:05:03Speaker 14: But you've been there two years though, Now this is
- 1:05:05Speaker 14: all sudden bothering you.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. If you don't look good
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: for me in the house.
- 1:05:09Speaker 14: For two years, why am i here?
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:05:12Speaker 13: Got a large ray just in the drawer, that's all.
- 1:05:14Speaker 13: You can see the large rays in the drawer.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Well, what do you look like? Circus? You didn't want
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: to put it on.
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: He didn't say anything about himself, only that he pays
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: all the bills, takes care of it.
- 1:05:25Speaker 8: I just know we're gonna be down to nine toes,
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: that's all. That's all I know. Get rid of this
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: out the dawn toe. Now, don't rub that thing up
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: against me.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Do not.
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: You're gonna be asleep.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: You won't even know. So you're rolling nine toes and
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: look at the brown one. Another yes, is how much
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: is you look at her toes? How come your neck
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: always bent down? You keep looking down there once you
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: know it's brown, you keep looking.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: With men and women's feet though, that's remember eddie nails
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: and toes us.
- 1:06:16Speaker 17: Beautiful feet. I'm sorry, thank you, nice ass feet. I
- 1:06:22Speaker 17: just wollwork, move on. I ain't never seeing that with
- 1:06:28Speaker 17: a brown toe, No, we have.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: But I will tell you if you have one, I
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: will tell you.

- 1:07:30Speaker 1: you know what, you know what I'm man about that.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: It was just the way we lost thirty four to
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: ten and the only touchdown we got was on special team.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: We just couldn't do nothing. Even Lamar Jackson, though, Lamar Jackson,

- 1:08:26Speaker 13: It is possible though, man, But you know, just yeah,
- 1:08:29Speaker 13: Lamar Jackson just can really flat out play this game.
- 1:08:32Speaker 13: And then you know what, he's changing the image. Yeah,
- 1:08:35Speaker 13: Patrick Gant too.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: But he's changing the image of what a traditional quarterback
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: look like. And he's doing he is.
- 1:08:40Speaker 13: If you play like this, you cannot want to see.
- 1:08:42Speaker 13: If you play like Lamar Jackson, you can't win the
- 1:08:44Speaker 13: super Bowl. Well here in the championship game. I take
- 1:08:46Speaker 13: Lamon is a bad boy man, both of what you
- 1:08:49Speaker 13: can do this.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: I love Lamar Jackson. His mom did that man contract deal.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: They kept all that money in the family.

- 1:10:26Speaker 4: thought I would be writing this sentence quote, what's the
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: best vegan food to serve at a football party? I
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: am having a bunch of people over on Sunday to
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: watch the NFL playoff games, and my wife has invited
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: some friends of hers from work who happened to be vegan.
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: Here's the problem. Other than a veggie tray, I have
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: no clue what those people eat. Any help of food
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: I can serve that others might also enjoy would be
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: greatly appreciated. This is from AJ, guys, not.
- 1:10:55Speaker 8: Those I don't know what to tell you. Aj because

- 1:11:06Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:11:07Speaker 8: You gotta give them some syrup, sandwiches or something. You
- 1:11:09Speaker 8: got to do something like that. Barbecue, sauce and bread.

- 1:11:29Speaker 1: I don't know, but JR.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: You've been vegan.
- 1:11:32Speaker 13: Yeah, not because I knew if I what do you mean?

- 1:11:47Speaker 1: him is, if you want to do something vegan for him, tequila,

- 1:20:08Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: Guys?

- 1:20:13Speaker 1: Yep, Tommy, did you? I just can't you know?
- 1:20:17Speaker 8: We've had a great show this morning. I cannot get
- 1:20:21Speaker 8: pasts to strawberry letter with that brown toe. I just
- 1:20:24Speaker 8: that isn't bothering me.
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: It was written by this guy who was he didn't
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: even want to write us, but he didn't know what
- 1:20:31Speaker 4: to do with his girlfriend right because she was when
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: he met her, she was beautiful, he said her Her
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: skin was glowing, her hair was flowing, and her toenails
- 1:20:42Speaker 4: were beautiful. All of that were amazing. They were white.
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: And then they moved in together, and then she broke
- 1:20:49Speaker 4: all the way down. She wears granny robes and bonnets
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: now and only time she looks really good is on
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: the outside. And one of the problems is her she
- 1:20:59Speaker 4: doesn't get her feet done anymore. He saw one of
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: her toes brown, and that's what you've been struggling.
- 1:21:04Speaker 8: And really devastated my morning, you know, devastated. But what
- 1:21:11Speaker 8: I mean, everybody held like, what's the biggest turn off
- 1:21:14Speaker 8: to you all back when you were dating.
- 1:21:16Speaker 7: What was the biggest turn off? What was the what
- 1:21:18Speaker 7: was a deal breaker?
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: You got to be clean, good teeth, you know, if
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: a guy had like big hips, hips on a man,
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: I can't.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: But yeah, it could be a problem. You see a
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: guy try to look at his hips and yeah, Yeah, man,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: a woman don't want A man got more ask.
- 1:21:42Speaker 7: Than That's what it is.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: No good teeth and I mean so on and so on.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: So you're saying what you're justified with the brown toe
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: because to.
- 1:21:56Speaker 8: Some men, feet are just necessary. Feet are just like
- 1:22:00Speaker 8: have to be like picture purplect.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean Eddie Murphy and Boomerang. That seems it
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: seems like that's when it all went down.
