- 0:00Speaker 1: When President Trump decided to run for reelection, one of
- 0:03Speaker 1: the things he made very clear and his agenda was
- 0:05Speaker 1: lowering the cost of living for so many Americans, and
- 0:09Speaker 1: one way he was going to do it was through deregulation. Now,
- 0:13Speaker 1: there is a significant number of regulations that have a
- 0:16Speaker 1: major impact on your life and the cost of goods.
- 0:20Speaker 1: You just may not realize how damning they are to
- 0:23Speaker 1: the final price that you're paying for products. The White
- 0:27Speaker 1: House is now coming out giving a perfect example of
- 0:31Speaker 1: how regulations can cost you big time and you don't
- 0:36Speaker 1: even know it. The White House is now saying that
- 0:39Speaker 1: it's going to save Americans two thousand, four hundred dollars
- 0:44Speaker 1: on car purchases. Now, you may say, are they going
- 0:47Speaker 1: to write me a check? No, this is what's actually
- 0:51Speaker 1: going on. The Trump administration is repealing now an Obama
- 0:56Speaker 1: era quote endangerment finding quote unquote that will now lower
- 1:02Speaker 1: car costs by an average of two thousand, four hundred
- 1:08Speaker 1: dollars per vehicle. The White House and Environmental Protection Agency
- 1:14Speaker 1: touted this as a big win for the American people.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I want you to hear what Lee Zelden had to say.
- 1:21Speaker 1: This is the man in charge the EPA with President
- 1:24Speaker 1: Donald Trump at the White House about the announcement.
- 1:28Speaker 2: The Endangerment Finding and the regulations that were based on It.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Didn't just regulate admissions, it regulated and targeted the American dream.
- 1:37Speaker 2: And now the Endangerment Finding is hereby limited. As well
- 1:41Speaker 2: as all greenhouse gas emission standards that followed, the red
- 1:46Speaker 2: tape has been cut. Manufacturers will no longer be burdened
- 1:50Speaker 2: by measuring, compiling, or reporting greenhouse gas emissions for vehicles
- 1:54Speaker 2: and engines, and the forced transition to electric vehicles is eliminated.
- 2:02Speaker 2: No longer will automakers be pressured to shift their fleets
- 2:07Speaker 2: towards electric vehicles, vehicles that are still sitting unsold on
- 2:11Speaker 2: dealer lots all across America. And as it's sherry on top,
- 2:15Speaker 2: we are ending the federal government's push to get manufacturers
- 2:19Speaker 2: to install that Obama switch, the almost universally despised start
- 2:24Speaker 2: stop feature. There will be no more climate participation trophies
- 2:28Speaker 2: awarded to manufacturers for making Americans cars die at every
- 2:32Speaker 2: red light and stop sign. It's over done, finished.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Over done, and finished. The action announced by President Trump
- 2:42Speaker 1: and the EPA administrator leads out in ends former President
- 2:46Speaker 1: Barack Obama's green obsession with the sweeping anti greenhouse gas policy.
- 2:53Speaker 1: It allowed the EPA to measure and constrain emissions of
- 2:56Speaker 1: carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and other gases from all
- 3:00Speaker 1: vehicles and engines of model years twenty twelve and beyond.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Now regulating greenhouse gas emissions under the nine policy added
- 3:11Speaker 1: unbelievable upcharges costs to car makers and then passed on
- 3:16Speaker 1: to you, the American consumer. That is why the savings
- 3:20Speaker 1: are so big. The EPA has estimated benefits to the
- 3:25Speaker 1: economy from rescinding the Endangerment finding for vehicles to be
- 3:30Speaker 1: as much as four point seven trillion dollars for the
- 3:35Speaker 1: period twenty twenty seven through twenty fifty five. This is
- 3:40Speaker 1: a gross underestimate, is what Steve Moroy, a former Trump
- 3:45Speaker 1: EPA transition advisor and senior fellow at the Energy and
- 3:49Speaker 1: Environment Legal Institute, said to The New York Post. Because
- 3:54Speaker 1: of this move, gas prices will also remain low and
- 3:59Speaker 1: car price will decline. This is a perfect storm, lowering
- 4:05Speaker 1: gas prices and lowering vehicle prices that will ripple through
- 4:09Speaker 1: the economy for decades to come. They also noted that
- 4:13Speaker 1: consumers and businesses also standard benefit from the deregulation of
- 4:18Speaker 1: admissions by being able to well redirect money and then
- 4:22Speaker 1: save on vehicle costs that will help small businesses as well.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Quote.
- 4:29Speaker 1: All these benefits are impossible to calculate, but there's one
- 4:33Speaker 1: thing for sure. The cost of regulating greenhouse gas emissions
- 4:38Speaker 1: is incalculably large while providing absolutely no environmental benefit. Now,
- 4:45Speaker 1: the EPA also notes that both the avoided costs of
- 4:50Speaker 1: purchasing equipment related to electric vehicles, which car makers increasingly
- 4:55Speaker 1: began manufacturing solely because of the wake of the oh
- 4:59Speaker 1: Nino Obama policy, and reduce regulatory compliance costs will also
- 5:05Speaker 1: contribute to significant price cuts At the White House, Zelden
- 5:11Speaker 1: proclaiming that manufacturers will no longer be burdened by measuring, compiling,
- 5:17Speaker 1: or reporting greenhouse gas emissions for vehicles and engines. Ford
- 5:21Speaker 1: Motor Company, for example, one of the big three American
- 5:24Speaker 1: automotive manufacturers. They have come out publicly now celebrating the
- 5:29Speaker 1: decision to scrap Obama's admission standards, saying this, we appreciate
- 5:34Speaker 1: the work of President Trump and Administrator Zelden to address
- 5:38Speaker 1: the imbalance between current emission standards and also customer choice,
- 5:44Speaker 1: for it is constantly advocating for a single, stable, national
- 5:49Speaker 1: standard that aligns with customer choice, the market, social benefits,
- 5:55Speaker 1: and American job growth. Now, the one frustrating about this
- 6:00Speaker 1: announcement is, unfortunately, when you're having to have an entire
- 6:04Speaker 1: industry change and go back in the other direction, it
- 6:08Speaker 1: will take time. Tim Pohonka, vice president, executive director and
- 6:13Speaker 1: manager at the Virginia based Pohonka Automotive Group, cautioned consumers
- 6:19Speaker 1: that it will take time for the prices on new
- 6:21Speaker 1: cars to come down by as much as the Trump
- 6:24Speaker 1: administration predicts, saying, quote, is there a potential opportunity for
- 6:29Speaker 1: people to save, Yes, there is, but it can't be
- 6:32Speaker 1: coupled with having to pay more at the gas pump.
- 6:35Speaker 1: So it's all relative. What do we see a price
- 6:38Speaker 1: reduction of two four hundred dollars right away on a car?
- 6:42Speaker 1: Probably not. I would have a hard time release saying
- 6:45Speaker 1: exactly how the number is going to break out because
- 6:48Speaker 1: it will take time for it to move through manufacturing.
- 6:51Speaker 1: The cost of a car, by the way, has outpaced
- 6:54Speaker 1: inflation dramatically. Many consumers concerned about just how much it
- 6:59Speaker 1: can now to get a reliable automobile, including one that
- 7:03Speaker 1: is used now. Trump Andzelden also announced Thursday that that
- 7:08Speaker 1: start stop feature it was forced on American car buyers
- 7:13Speaker 1: under Obama's Endangerment finding, Well, that will no longer be
- 7:18Speaker 1: a requirement on new vehicles. Again, why was it on
- 7:22Speaker 1: your car if you have it, because it was an
- 7:25Speaker 1: Obama mandate. And this also is an exciting move because
- 7:30Speaker 1: it will save costs for you the consumer. Quote, every
- 7:34Speaker 1: time they put new components in the car, it just
- 7:37Speaker 1: adds costs. When you start looking at auto start, autostop buttons,
- 7:42Speaker 1: it plays an impact on the price you're paying, and
- 7:46Speaker 1: removing the complexity from the hardware will make a real difference.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Experts are also noting that that feature may cause harm
- 7:55Speaker 1: to the engine as well as battery components, which also
- 7:59Speaker 1: adds consumer costs when repairs are needed. That is another
- 8:04Speaker 1: reason why this will save Americans real cash. And will
- 8:08Speaker 1: this only be on certain brands? No, it's going to
- 8:11Speaker 1: be on every car brand. Yes, it's going to be
- 8:14Speaker 1: slightly different from brand to brand, but overall it's a
- 8:17Speaker 1: major win and it's making cars more affordable.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Quote.
- 8:22Speaker 1: There are some people saying this is a bad thing.
- 8:25Speaker 1: But the truth is, you can't always go with what
- 8:28Speaker 1: the government says because they don't know the industry. They
- 8:33Speaker 1: don't build cars. That statement coming from the auto industry experts,
- 8:39Speaker 1: I couldn't agree more. And you know who agrees with them,
- 8:42Speaker 1: the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump,
- 8:44Speaker 1: who promised he was going to lower prices and get
- 8:48Speaker 1: rid of ridiculous government mandates and regulations.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Accountability.
- 8:54Speaker 1: It is what Donald Trump promised all Americans for those
- 8:58Speaker 1: that have been breaking the law. Waste, fraud and abuse
- 9:01Speaker 1: were a part of the doctrine. We were going to
- 9:03Speaker 1: get rid of it and figure out exactly who was
- 9:05Speaker 1: involved in it. Well, then we had what happened in Minnesota,
- 9:10Speaker 1: a massive explosion of an expose on the fraud that
- 9:14Speaker 1: is costing taxpayers billions of dollars. We also found out
- 9:19Speaker 1: much of that money was actually going to terrorist groups
- 9:22Speaker 1: like al Shabab. And then there's those that were behind
- 9:26Speaker 1: it or actually protecting the fraudsters. Josh Holly and many
- 9:31Speaker 1: in the Senate. They got a chance to talk to
- 9:34Speaker 1: Minnesota's Attorney General, Keith Ellison, over his ties to many
- 9:40Speaker 1: of those Somali fraudsters. How to be clear, the attorney
- 9:43Speaker 1: general is the one that's supposed to be going after
- 9:45Speaker 1: the criminals, not hanging out with them, doing deals with them,
- 9:49Speaker 1: or looking the other way. And now Senator Holly is
- 9:52Speaker 1: calling for the indictment of the Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison,
- 9:56Speaker 1: over accusations that he accepted campaign contributions from the Somali
- 10:03Speaker 1: fraudsters for helping them evade investigation by state and federal officials.
- 10:11Speaker 1: During the Senate Homeland Security hearing on Thursday, Holly grilled
- 10:16Speaker 1: Ellison about a report from The New York Post published
- 10:20Speaker 1: last year that is now accused the top Minnesota official
- 10:24Speaker 1: of taking campaign contributions from Somali's involved in defeeding our
- 10:30Speaker 1: future fraud scandal. That scandal is where some nine billion
- 10:36Speaker 1: dollars in taxpayer money was stolen under the guise of
- 10:41Speaker 1: feeding needy children. That's right, They weren't doing it at all.
- 10:46Speaker 1: According to report, Ellison accepted several two thousand, five hundred
- 10:52Speaker 1: dollars campaign donations from Somali fraudsters after they raised concerns
- 10:58Speaker 1: that federal investigator were unjustly looking at their financials. I
- 11:04Speaker 1: want you to listen to part one center Holly, questioning
- 11:09Speaker 1: and laying out the facts with receipts of exactly what
- 11:13Speaker 1: Ellison was doing.
- 11:14Speaker 4: Try another question. You familiar with the nine billion dollars
- 11:17Speaker 4: in historic fraud out of your state, including the two
- 11:20Speaker 4: hundred and fifty million dollars in the Feeding Our Future
- 11:23Speaker 4: program alone you familiar with that? Don't turn to the
- 11:25Speaker 4: pages in your book to get your potted answers. Are
- 11:27Speaker 4: you familiar with it?
- 11:28Speaker 3: Yes or no?
- 11:29Speaker 5: Yes, I am familiar with it.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Very familiar, aren't you?
- 11:31Speaker 4: Because the people who ran the Feeding Our Futures program
- 11:34Speaker 4: came to you and your official office in the state
- 11:37Speaker 4: capitol of December eleventh to twenty twenty one and ask
- 11:40Speaker 4: for your help in getting investigators off their backs. They
- 11:44Speaker 4: complained to you for upwards of an hour about state
- 11:48Speaker 4: investigators going after them, and they begged you to help them,
- 11:52Speaker 4: and you agreed to it amazingly, And we know you did.
- 11:55Speaker 4: That's because it's all caught on tape. Every single sentence
- 11:59Speaker 4: is caught on tape.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Here's what you said.
- 12:00Speaker 5: Let's take it.
- 12:01Speaker 4: You said sid a question. You said to them, send
- 12:04Speaker 4: me the names of all these folks who are investigating them.
- 12:08Speaker 4: You said to them, send me their names and I'll
- 12:11Speaker 4: take that list and I'll call the person over at
- 12:13Speaker 4: education who was investigating them and say, what's going on?
- 12:17Speaker 4: Why am I getting these complaints? Then he went on
- 12:19Speaker 4: to say, I already have my team working on this.
- 12:23Speaker 4: What day should we get together to discuss it again?
- 12:27Speaker 4: You made pledge after pledge to them. You said, we've
- 12:30Speaker 4: got to make sure this guy who's investigating them stops it.
- 12:33Speaker 4: You said, you have my attention. I'm concerned about this.
- 12:37Speaker 4: You said, let's go fight these people, meaning the people
- 12:40Speaker 4: who are investigating the fraud.
- 12:43Speaker 5: Why'd you do it?
- 12:44Speaker 3: Why did you help them?
- 12:45Speaker 5: Are you gonna let me answer?
- 12:46Speaker 3: Please? We're all here, so first of.
- 12:48Speaker 5: All, you're cherry picking coos out of there?
- 12:50Speaker 3: Then why did you help me?
- 12:51Speaker 5: I thought you were gonna let me answer? Why did
- 12:53Speaker 5: you let me answer?
- 12:54Speaker 3: Why did you help? You?
- 12:55Speaker 5: Let me answer? And I'll answer.
- 12:56Speaker 3: You tell the truth and I'll let you answer.
- 12:58Speaker 5: I will.
- 12:59Speaker 3: It'd be nice so that no.
- 13:01Speaker 6: See, mister Sherman, I didn't come here to be insulted.
- 13:04Speaker 5: I came here value you came here for the truth.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Let's have it. Why did you help? Are here?
- 13:09Speaker 4: They're in black and white and everything for this audience
- 13:11Speaker 4: and their chair. Listen to the recording. It's fifty four
- 13:14Speaker 4: minutes long. It's all in public that you can google
- 13:17Speaker 4: it right now and listen to it and listen to.
- 13:19Speaker 5: To help them, First of all, I didn't help them,
- 13:21Speaker 5: you did. No, I did not. I certainly didn't.
- 13:24Speaker 4: You're saying you didn't do anything for them. You didn't,
- 13:27Speaker 4: you didn't. Well, wait a minute, I already have my
- 13:29Speaker 4: team working on this again.
- 13:30Speaker 3: That's not you I have.
- 13:31Speaker 5: I've been with my team.
- 13:33Speaker 6: My team assisted with the information that led to the
- 13:37Speaker 6: prosecution and conviction of.
- 13:39Speaker 4: These youn't finger to prosecute them, No, you did not, because.
- 13:44Speaker 3: You had all bs. You have whistleblowers.
- 13:48Speaker 6: One talking ba Listen, My time doesn't know what you're
- 13:51Speaker 6: talking about.
- 13:52Speaker 3: You, sir, you now have encountered why did you take
- 13:55Speaker 3: your money?
- 13:56Speaker 1: You notice there Holly really honing in on following the money.
- 14:01Speaker 1: He also talked about you know, you're familiar with the
- 14:04Speaker 1: nine billion in a historic fraud out of your state,
- 14:07Speaker 1: including the two hundred and fifty million in the Feeding
- 14:10Speaker 1: our Future program alone. That's when Holly asked Ellison, to
- 14:14Speaker 1: which he responded, I'm familiar with it because the people
- 14:18Speaker 1: who ran the feeding our future program. Came to you
- 14:21Speaker 1: in your office in the state capitol December eleventh, twenty
- 14:25Speaker 1: twenty one, and asked for your help in getting investigators
- 14:30Speaker 1: off their backs. Holly wasn't done talking about the money
- 14:35Speaker 1: and connecting the trail. Take a listen.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Why did you take your money? Why did you take
- 14:40Speaker 3: their money?
- 14:41Speaker 5: I didn't.
- 14:42Speaker 3: You took ten to false thousand dollars.
- 14:44Speaker 5: That's a false staate.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Ten thousand dollars. Nine days after the meeting, false state.
- 14:50Speaker 4: You took ten thousand dollars. Here's what happened. They went
- 14:53Speaker 4: to your office. That's the money for you. He came
- 14:58Speaker 4: to your office. Was you lad with them for fifty
- 15:01Speaker 4: four minutes? They asked you for help, You pledged it
- 15:04Speaker 4: to them, and they talked repeatedly about money. In fact,
- 15:07Speaker 4: it's all they talked. That's a lot of money, money, money, money.
- 15:10Speaker 4: They said, we will put our dollars in the right place.
- 15:14Speaker 4: We will support candidates that will fight to protect our interests.
- 15:17Speaker 3: You replied, that's right.
- 15:18Speaker 4: They said that you are securing your donor base and
- 15:21Speaker 4: securing your power base. You can act the way you want.
- 15:24Speaker 4: You replied, money is freedom. They said, the amount of
- 15:27Speaker 4: money circulate. I'm reading the transcript. The amount of money
- 15:30Speaker 4: you're relating in our community today is powerful and we
- 15:33Speaker 4: haven't realizing it in a meaningful way. And you said,
- 15:36Speaker 4: give me the specifics, and nine days later you took
- 15:40Speaker 4: ten thousand dollars from people who were then indicted.
- 15:44Speaker 3: It's in your reports. Why did you do it?
- 15:46Speaker 6: Sir?
- 15:46Speaker 3: This was it worth it?
- 15:48Speaker 5: You know what? This is a theatrical ten thousand.
- 15:51Speaker 3: This is the truth.
- 15:51Speaker 4: It has what amount of ability looks like, of which
- 15:53Speaker 4: you've had none. You helped fraudsters defraud your sky and
- 15:57Speaker 4: this government of nine million dollar and you got that
- 16:01Speaker 4: campaign contribution out of it.
- 16:03Speaker 3: You ought to be Indicted's true? Well, that's the truth.
- 16:06Speaker 5: I think we've made the point. Let's keep the ten
- 16:08Speaker 5: for the record.
- 16:09Speaker 3: I'll ask how's alling?
- 16:11Speaker 5: And that's and that's the truth.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Oh no, this is all on the road. Did you
- 16:15Speaker 4: bother our did you bother to investigate where the money
- 16:18Speaker 4: that you facilitated their fraud for? Where it went? Do
- 16:21Speaker 4: you know where it went? What it was used for?
- 16:22Speaker 4: The fraudulent money? I do, because we just heard testimony
- 16:25Speaker 4: about it yesterday, Because we run with tears in the
- 16:29Speaker 4: hundreds of millions of dollars to terrorists, to transnational criminal organizations,
- 16:33Speaker 4: to the drug trade, to drug trafficking, to child trafficking,
- 16:37Speaker 4: and you took ten thousand dollars.
- 16:40Speaker 5: That's a lot and help them do it.
- 16:42Speaker 3: You know.
- 16:42Speaker 4: The other thing is whistle blowers came to you as
- 16:44Speaker 4: early as twenty nineteen. Let's look as early as twenty nineteen.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Whistle blood, don't talk over me early talking about in nineteen,
- 16:51Speaker 4: it's my hearing pal.
- 16:54Speaker 3: As early as nineteen, don't.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Whistle blowers came, well, I should call you prisoner because
- 16:59Speaker 4: you ought.
- 16:59Speaker 3: To be in jail.
- 16:59Speaker 5: We see what you get.
- 17:00Speaker 4: In twenty nineteen, whistleblowers came to you in your office
- 17:05Speaker 4: and referred to you fraud allegations from feeding our futures,
- 17:08Speaker 4: and you blow them off.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Listen to your own state newspaper. That's all it.
- 17:11Speaker 4: The Minnesota Start Tribune, the Partners and Nutrition brought its
- 17:14Speaker 4: concerns to the Attorney General's office in twenty eighteen and
- 17:17Speaker 4: in twenty nineteen, and you did nothing. You did nothing
- 17:21Speaker 4: for years. The only action you took is once all
- 17:23Speaker 4: these fraudsters came to your office and asked you to
- 17:26Speaker 4: get involved and offered your money.
- 17:27Speaker 3: And then you got involved. Then you took the money,
- 17:30Speaker 3: and then you got involved.
- 17:31Speaker 6: They did not come to my office. You're completely wrong
- 17:34Speaker 6: about that. You met with it in twenty.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Minutes, and you took ten thousand dollars, and they also
- 17:39Speaker 4: gave your family money. They gave your family thousands of
- 17:42Speaker 4: dollars in campaign contributions and addition.
- 17:44Speaker 5: To what they gave false statements. Let's put the business.
- 17:47Speaker 5: You know this is completely under the New York Post. Yeah,
- 17:50Speaker 5: we know the New York Post.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Minnesota Keith Ellison ag accepted campaign donations from individuals link
- 17:55Speaker 4: to the two hundred fifty million dollars COVID fraud scheme
- 17:57Speaker 4: after they were in your office. No donations came on
- 18:00Speaker 4: December twentieth, sir, You met with them on December the eleventh,
- 18:03Speaker 4: and on January twentieth, the FBI knocked over their headquarters.
- 18:06Speaker 3: No, no, that's the sequence of events here.
- 18:09Speaker 5: No, it's not.
- 18:10Speaker 3: You've been right at the.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Center of this fraud, the sequence and and sir, the
- 18:15Speaker 4: false you should resign, and sir, you should reside.
- 18:19Speaker 5: I was thinking the same thing about you.
- 18:20Speaker 3: You'd reside now.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Of course, Ellison denied helping the fraudsters, to which Holly
- 18:25Speaker 1: made it very clear, saying to Ellison to his face,
- 18:27Speaker 1: you accepted ten thousand from them nine days after the meeting.
- 18:32Speaker 1: You helped the fraudsters of fraud your's state and this
- 18:35Speaker 1: government of nine billion dollars and you got a fat
- 18:40Speaker 1: campaign contribution out of it. You ought to be indicted. No,
- 18:45Speaker 1: this is all on the record, sir, Holly continued, did
- 18:49Speaker 1: you bother to investigate whether the money that you facilitated
- 18:53Speaker 1: their fraud for where it went? Question Mark, do you
- 18:57Speaker 1: know where it went? What it was used for? The
- 18:59Speaker 1: fraud DGS money? I do, because we just heard testimony
- 19:03Speaker 1: about it yesterday. Hundreds of millions of dollars to terrorist groups,
- 19:08Speaker 1: to transnational criminal organizations, to the drug trade, to drug trafficking,
- 19:15Speaker 1: to child trafficking, and you took ten thousand dollars and
- 19:19Speaker 1: helped them do it. Holly also told Ellison that not
- 19:23Speaker 1: only should he resign from office, which I'm sure Ellison
- 19:27Speaker 1: will not do, but he reminded him that as of
- 19:31Speaker 1: last December, eighty five people have been charged in the
- 19:34Speaker 1: Feeding Our Future fraud scandal, nearly all of whom are
- 19:38Speaker 1: Somali descent. The investigation has led to sixty convictions thus far.
- 19:44Speaker 1: So how does the Attorney General look the other way
- 19:47Speaker 1: and act like it never happened. Well, it's pretty easy
- 19:50Speaker 1: when the people that are committing the fraud are giving
- 19:52Speaker 1: you campaign contributions. And this is exactly why the President
- 19:57Speaker 1: of the United States of America, Donald Trump, said multiple
- 20:01Speaker 1: times in the last week that the resources of the
- 20:04Speaker 1: federal government are all in to go after anyone is
- 20:09Speaker 1: involved in defrauding the American taxpayer and sending that money
- 20:13Speaker 1: to terrorists. Massive fraud found in California, and many, including
- 20:19Speaker 1: Donald Trump, are warning that it may be bigger than
- 20:22Speaker 1: what we found in Minnesota. Millions of your tax dollars
- 20:26Speaker 1: were defrauded, in fact, by just one man. The money
- 20:30Speaker 1: was meant to feed the homeless. I want you to
- 20:33Speaker 1: hear how Fox News talked about this one individual the
- 20:38Speaker 1: defrauded Americans of more than twenty three million dollars. I'll
- 20:43Speaker 1: stay it again, this is just one person. Listen to
- 20:48Speaker 1: report from Fox News.
- 20:50Speaker 7: Agent's moving in today, busting a man accused of stealing
- 20:54Speaker 7: tens of millions of dollars meant for the homeless and
- 20:57Speaker 7: spending that cash on a lavish life style. Corsponding Matt
- 21:01Speaker 7: finn is live in Los Angeles for you, and you know,
- 21:06Speaker 7: folks were warned about this and lo and behold here
- 21:08Speaker 7: it ends.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Yeah, this is it behind me, John.
- 21:12Speaker 8: The FEDS say this man was contracted with the City
- 21:16Speaker 8: and County of Los Angeles to housing feed up to
- 21:18Speaker 8: six hundred homeless people, but instead he was misusing tens
- 21:22Speaker 8: of millions of dollars to live a luxurious life. Exclusive
- 21:27Speaker 8: Fox video shows the fed's early morning bust here at
- 21:30Speaker 8: the La mansion. Forty two year old Alexander Suker was arrested.
- 21:34Speaker 8: Suker's one hundred and twenty five thousand dollars land rover
- 21:37Speaker 8: was also seized by law enforcement. The fedse Suker defrauded
- 21:41Speaker 8: the City and County of La out of twenty three
- 21:43Speaker 8: million in taxpayer dollars for not only his mansion and car,
- 21:47Speaker 8: but a second home in Greece, luxury vacations, designer clothes,
- 21:51Speaker 8: and private schools.
- 21:54Speaker 9: He was living the high life while the people suffering
- 21:58Speaker 9: homelessly on the street eat with no shelter, no food.
- 22:02Speaker 5: They're living out in the streets.
- 22:03Speaker 9: People are literally dying and this guy is out vacationing,
- 22:07Speaker 9: buying homes, buying range rovers, and going shopping.
- 22:12Speaker 8: Prosecutors say Suker was supposed to provide three nutritional meals
- 22:15Speaker 8: a day to the homeless, but during one inspection, Suker
- 22:18Speaker 8: only had canned beans and ramen noodles on hand. The
- 22:21Speaker 8: Fed Saint Lucre lied about various aspects of abundant blessings,
- 22:26Speaker 8: including fake vendors facilities, and the home was actually getting meals.
- 22:30Speaker 8: The US Attorney's Office in LA says they are actively
- 22:32Speaker 8: investigating at least twelve other similar fraud cases here in California.
- 22:37Speaker 5: First Assistant US Attorney Bill A.
- 22:38Speaker 8: Sale says there's a tremendous amount of fraud in this
- 22:40Speaker 8: state and that today's bust of one man who misused
- 22:43Speaker 8: twenty three million dollars alone may show how little oversight
- 22:46Speaker 8: there is.
- 22:49Speaker 9: California was pushing this money out quickly. A lot of
- 22:52Speaker 9: money went out the door with frankly, very little vetting,
- 22:57Speaker 9: very little checks and balances, and he's one of the
- 23:00Speaker 9: individuals that got it.
- 23:03Speaker 8: The suspect is scheduled to make his first appearance later today.
- 23:06Speaker 8: He faces up to twenty years if convicted on a
- 23:08Speaker 8: federal case. The local district attorney is also planning on
- 23:11Speaker 8: prosecuting Sean.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Now this is just the tip of the iceberg. In fact,
- 23:16Speaker 1: we now have the same man Nick Shirley, who did
- 23:20Speaker 1: the incredible job of discovering massive fraud in Minneapolis and
- 23:24Speaker 1: exposing it to the world that is landed in California,
- 23:28Speaker 1: and he's now saying that's even worse than anyone else.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Could have imagined.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Before I get to that, though, I want to tell
- 23:34Speaker 1: you about my good friends over it Bitcoin IRA. I
- 23:38Speaker 1: got to ask you a question, can you buy ROE

- 24:55Speaker 1: California and what he says, is, well incredible amounts of
- 24:59Speaker 1: fraud that may be much bigger than what he exposed In.
- 25:03Speaker 10: Minnesota, oh there's massive fraud In. CALIFORNIA i mean the
- 25:07Speaker 10: homelessness is just increased as they receive more. Money that's
- 25:11Speaker 10: just one part of. It like you talked about the
- 25:13Speaker 10: light rail and everything like. That the fraud is like

- 27:35Speaker 1: California they say the fraud uncovered In minnesota was very
- 27:39Speaker 1: bad and led to the destruction Of Tim waltz's, career
