- 2:03Speaker 5: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:06Speaker 5: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Got a radio show. Man, oh man, oh man. You
- 2:15Speaker 1: know what y'all.
- 2:16Speaker 5: I mean, really, the goodness of God is overwhelming if
- 2:19Speaker 5: you think about it, I mean, really really think about it,
- 2:24Speaker 5: even when your circumstance doesn't look so bright, even when
- 2:29Speaker 5: you're going through something that's causing you discomfort, pain, Even
- 2:35Speaker 5: in that God's goodness is actually overwhelming because don't forget
- 2:43Speaker 5: why you're going through this moment.
- 2:46Speaker 1: First of all, this too shall pass, but also secondly.
- 2:49Speaker 5: Remember man, ain't everything else that you've gone through that
- 2:54Speaker 5: seems so insurmountable at.
- 2:56Speaker 1: The time, didn't you get past that too? I mean,
- 3:01Speaker 1: it's amazing.
- 3:02Speaker 5: If you really think about it, you don't get stuck
- 3:05Speaker 5: on any one issue your whole life. The only people
- 3:09Speaker 5: that get stuck on an issue they whole life is
- 3:12Speaker 5: people who won't let it go. That's really all it is.
- 3:16Speaker 5: There are people who exist, and you may be one
- 3:19Speaker 5: of them. Oh please know, I've been guilty of it
- 3:22Speaker 5: myself before, but I learned something. There are things in
- 3:27Speaker 5: my past that I just would not let go of.
- 3:30Speaker 5: It was done, it was over with. I was past it,
- 3:34Speaker 5: but I I would not let go of it.
- 3:38Speaker 1: It was over.
- 3:39Speaker 5: The dude that did it tell me didn't exist no more.
- 3:42Speaker 5: The problem that it created didn't exist no more. The
- 3:45Speaker 5: only problem that kept hanging on was I would not
- 3:49Speaker 5: let it go. And man, you can't go forward if
- 3:54Speaker 5: you gonna keep looking in the past. It's an impossible thing.
- 3:58Speaker 5: It's like driving a car. If you keep looking only
- 4:02Speaker 5: in the rearview mirror while you're driving, you're going to
- 4:05Speaker 5: crash pretty soon. And a lot of people just keep
- 4:08Speaker 5: crashing over and over and over and over because you
- 4:13Speaker 5: won't drive your car. You keep looking in the real
- 4:16Speaker 5: view mirror at your past. Oh woe it's me.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Oh you know they did me like that. You know
- 4:22Speaker 1: I ain't been the same since he cheated on me. Oh, man.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Every since she stole my money, I ain't been the
- 4:28Speaker 5: same man she played me, and ever since that I
- 4:31Speaker 5: done treated women differently. You may have some deeper stuff
- 4:34Speaker 5: going on, but eventually, guess what, do you understand that
- 4:38Speaker 5: when you have a relationship God with God, you can
- 4:41Speaker 5: take that to him too and drop it off and
- 4:45Speaker 5: leave it there.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Do you know that He can fix and heal that.
- 4:50Speaker 5: Maybe it's something serious like that that you need fixing
- 4:53Speaker 5: or healing from, a relationship with God can fix and
- 4:57Speaker 5: heal that. But man, come on, y'all, whatever it is,
- 5:02Speaker 5: and I'm not trying to downplay it or make it
- 5:05Speaker 5: act like it wasn't traumatic in your life, because oh God,
- 5:08Speaker 5: you don't want to know. You don't want nobody to
- 5:10Speaker 5: do that to you because you want to be the
- 5:12Speaker 5: you know, the post a child for misery. So please
- 5:16Speaker 5: don't let me take that from you. If that's your position,
- 5:19Speaker 5: that's your hall of fame card you hanging on to.
- 5:22Speaker 5: I'm the poster child for misery. Oh no one is
- 5:26Speaker 5: more woe than me than Please don't let Steve try
- 5:30Speaker 5: to take that from you. You go ahead and hang
- 5:32Speaker 5: on to that. But let me tell you something though,
- 5:35Speaker 5: If that's what you're gonna hang on to. That's what
- 5:37Speaker 5: you're gonna always be the poster child for misery. At
- 5:41Speaker 5: one point in time, you're gonna have to get on
- 5:42Speaker 5: and move past it. Sometimes, man, it's merely a simple
- 5:47Speaker 5: thing of taking it to God and leaving it there.
- 5:49Speaker 5: You know, some people don't have money for therapy. Some
- 5:53Speaker 5: people don't even know who to call for therapy. God
- 5:56Speaker 5: is the best psychologist in the world. He can fix
- 6:00Speaker 5: it for you. There is nothing too hard for God.
- 6:04Speaker 5: You know when something seems impossible, y'all, God does the
- 6:07Speaker 5: impossible all the time every day.
- 6:10Speaker 1: You won't know how I know.
- 6:12Speaker 5: I just look at a couple basic things. Do you
- 6:15Speaker 5: know that that sun comes up every day in the morning.
- 6:17Speaker 5: It comes up in the east and it sets in
- 6:19Speaker 5: the west. You can't do nothing about that. All you
- 6:23Speaker 5: can wish because you plant at your flowers on a
- 6:26Speaker 5: certain side of your house.
- 6:27Speaker 1: You can wish all you want.
- 6:29Speaker 5: Then maybe one day he would bring it up out
- 6:31Speaker 5: the northwest, so those flowers would be No. Now it's
- 6:34Speaker 5: gonna come up out the east, and once the sun
- 6:37Speaker 5: hits the horizon when you look in the water, like
- 6:40Speaker 5: if you ever out in La and you see the
- 6:42Speaker 5: sun going down. Once the sun once you can visually
- 6:45Speaker 5: see the sun touching the horizon, you have three minutes.
- 6:50Speaker 5: You have exactly three minutes. You can sit there with
- 6:52Speaker 5: your watch. You can time, yeah, three minutes and it's gone.
- 6:56Speaker 5: Three minutes is gone.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I read that somewhere and then I and tried it.
- 7:01Speaker 5: It's gone every day if it's clear enough, not cloudy.
- 7:05Speaker 5: Once the sun touches the horizon. On water, you got
- 7:09Speaker 5: three minutes. When the wind blows, you can't do nothing
- 7:13Speaker 5: about it. He can bring it from the northeast, he
- 7:16Speaker 5: can bring it from the west, he can bring from
- 7:17Speaker 5: the south. He can bring it hard, he can bring
- 7:19Speaker 5: it cool, he can bring it hot. It's certain things
- 7:22Speaker 5: that God does the impossible all the time. How those
- 7:25Speaker 5: stars sitting up there, How can you find these constellations?
- 7:30Speaker 5: The big dipp of the Little Dipper, Ryan the Hunter
- 7:33Speaker 5: All that's God.
- 7:34Speaker 6: God.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Ain't nothing you can do about it. You can't reach
- 7:36Speaker 5: them stars, you can't shoot at them, you can't move
- 7:38Speaker 5: them out the way. Or Ryan the Hunter's belt, there's
- 7:41Speaker 5: gonna beat them three stars out of ankle. You can
- 7:44Speaker 5: call it what you want to call it. Still, that's
- 7:45Speaker 5: what it is. See, He does the impossible all the time.
- 7:49Speaker 5: He created heaven and earth. You're saying that God can't
- 7:53Speaker 5: get you through your past. Somebody did just to me.
- 7:57Speaker 5: It's the worst thing I had, the worst childhood of
- 7:59Speaker 5: any God can't get you past that. He can move heaven, mountains, Earth,
- 8:06Speaker 5: he can form the Grand Canyon, he can make the
- 8:08Speaker 5: water come over Niagara Falls twenty four seven. He can't
- 8:13Speaker 5: fix yo little bitty past yours. It's amazing how people
- 8:18Speaker 5: make their problems bigger than God. Somebody told me one time,
- 8:22Speaker 5: stop telling God how big your problems are, and start
- 8:27Speaker 5: telling your problems how big God is, and go on
- 8:32Speaker 5: with your life. Quit driving your car looking in the
- 8:35Speaker 5: rear view mirror. Ain't nothing back there but your past.
- 8:39Speaker 5: And if it was hurtful or painful, or something you
- 8:42Speaker 5: just felt like you can't get over, take your problems
- 8:45Speaker 5: to God and leave them there. You hear the old
- 8:47Speaker 5: spiritual all you've heard it, take your birdens to the Lord,
- 8:50Speaker 5: leave them yet all the time.
- 8:53Speaker 1: But you think that applies to everyone.
- 8:55Speaker 5: But you, come on, man, a lot of people out
- 8:59Speaker 5: there going through much worse than you have and have
- 9:02Speaker 5: overcome it all. Why won't you take the step to
- 9:05Speaker 5: overcome your past, so you can get on with driving
- 9:08Speaker 5: your car and see what God trying to take you.
- 9:10Speaker 1: But it's a trick of the enemy.
- 9:12Speaker 5: The enemy tricks you from seeing your future by having
- 9:16Speaker 5: you constantly looking in your past.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Man, it's a trick of the devil.
- 9:20Speaker 5: If the devil just let you quit, if he would
- 9:23Speaker 5: just let you get to drive in your car, look
- 9:25Speaker 5: out into your future. Your future shows hopefulness. You have
- 9:31Speaker 5: hope when you see the future. But he can keep
- 9:34Speaker 5: you in misery if he keep you looking at your
- 9:36Speaker 5: miserable past. God looking for you, man, God would love
- 9:41Speaker 5: to hear from you. Let's spend some time talking to
- 9:44Speaker 5: God today. Hey God, what's happening.
- 9:47Speaker 1: It's me. I know I ain't talk to you in
- 9:49Speaker 1: a while, but feel bad about that. But I need you.
- 9:53Speaker 7: He know that.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Everybody should say that prayer all the time. It's cool.
- 9:57Speaker 1: All right, you're listening.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Morning show.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Ladies and gentlemen. Prepare yourselves now how you do that?
- 10:07Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I can give you some suggestions.
- 10:11Speaker 5: Sit up, pay attention, tighten up, call you mom and Neil,
- 10:20Speaker 5: brace yourself.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Act right.
- 10:26Speaker 5: All that applied to the beginning of the Steve Harvey
- 10:30Speaker 5: Morning Show.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Here it is, it has begun. And to make you
- 10:39Speaker 1: feel real comfortable, I'm is Steve Harvey.
- 10:48Speaker 7: She be.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Sure to start, ben, I'm not comfortable. Good morning, Steve. Okay,
- 10:58Speaker 1: Honey is calling for real. I'm just gonna go with
- 11:03Speaker 1: and hey, good morning.
- 11:05Speaker 5: Look at him that Dawn Junior, that that there be
- 11:11Speaker 5: who I am going up, nephew Tom going on.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Over here right here, sir. Yeah. The only one uncomfortable
- 11:23Speaker 1: with all this was that bushy Shirley Strawberry whatever, sir,
- 11:29Speaker 1: always trying to speak proper, Grandma Lane. That's everything. You
- 11:33Speaker 1: got to learn how to talk with this How I talk? Man?
- 11:37Speaker 1: Probably your land.
- 11:38Speaker 4: I remember.
- 11:40Speaker 9: I first heard you on the radio. You were you
- 11:44Speaker 9: were saying that's that. It may have been a few
- 11:46Speaker 9: days before I came in to work with you in
- 11:48Speaker 9: l A. Steve, you said, don't you told the audience,
- 11:52Speaker 9: don't be calling up in here talking to me about
- 11:56Speaker 9: how I talk?
- 12:00Speaker 5: Yeah, this is somebody had faxed me today. You saw country. Hey,
- 12:05Speaker 5: you say your paper say because you're wasting it because
- 12:10Speaker 5: I'm not finn change. I did that one time in
- 12:13Speaker 5: my career. It never happened again. Don't be calling up
- 12:17Speaker 5: in here talking.
- 12:18Speaker 1: About how I talk.
- 12:20Speaker 5: If that's what your facts say, We're gonna tag up
- 12:23Speaker 5: and leave it in the flow, cause you know what
- 12:25Speaker 5: you know.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Wasn't nobody really email it much? You know? I had?
- 12:29Speaker 5: Well, yeah, but faxing was big. I told them you
- 12:34Speaker 5: just waited paper all y'all facts on the floor. Anybody
- 12:38Speaker 5: stall y'all gotten to me talking about you sound country
- 12:41Speaker 5: this Los Angeles. I don't know why they hide your
- 12:44Speaker 5: country as because they don't know you.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Don't nobody know you. You talk properts. Hell, don't nobody
- 12:51Speaker 1: know you?
- 12:51Speaker 6: All like you.
- 12:52Speaker 5: That's why I'm on the damn radio. I was like, okay, boy,
- 12:59Speaker 5: Shirley k me in that first day. She was just
- 13:01Speaker 5: looking upside my head. I was looking upside her and said,
- 13:04Speaker 5: I said, well, whatever, you know.
- 13:08Speaker 1: That's what got me my job?
- 13:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I said, you know, I said, she were telling
- 13:13Speaker 5: me how to talk. I don't know what's she talking about, Steve,
- 13:15Speaker 5: Did you mean to say that?
- 13:16Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 13:18Speaker 1: I do, no other ways saying I.
- 13:21Speaker 9: Was just glad I did my homework so I knew
- 13:23Speaker 9: who I was dealing with. What happened when I got there?
- 13:28Speaker 9: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour. We
- 13:31Speaker 9: have some church complaints for you. Right after this, you're listening.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Morning show.
- 13:38Speaker 9: Right now, it is time for the reverend and the deacon.
- 13:41Speaker 9: They are here with church complaints.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Oh wasn't wasn't really ready for that. I don't worry
- 13:53Speaker 1: about hanging.
- 13:55Speaker 5: Oh don't hell my regular Decon or regular Oh motown
- 14:00Speaker 5: for it.
- 14:01Speaker 1: That's all right. And Motown has win a little little.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Sony Epic Colombia on them and really wore his ads
- 14:11Speaker 5: out the best that I can.
- 14:13Speaker 1: But we are here again calvot for church complaints.
- 14:19Speaker 9: What is it?
- 14:20Speaker 5: Ah?
- 14:22Speaker 1: I passed that. To day we have mister Vera.
- 14:25Speaker 8: Jean Gladmore is finally getting her beard cut. She has
- 14:31Speaker 8: gotten tired of the members calling her Deacon Vernon instead
- 14:34Speaker 8: of Vera.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I passed.
- 14:36Speaker 8: She is request in five cases of magic shave to
- 14:39Speaker 8: get the entire beard off.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I was thinking more of a fund raising eff with her.
- 14:50Speaker 5: Oh, I was gonna put in a cage in the
- 14:53Speaker 5: basement of the church and help people pay two dollars
- 14:58Speaker 5: to see the bearded lady. Well, now that's that, and
- 15:02Speaker 5: raised money for the building fund exactly into circus. So
- 15:09Speaker 5: it's a fundraiser or we could have her up a
- 15:12Speaker 5: black like or like like doing car wash. Right, have
- 15:16Speaker 5: her entry end behind the drape.
- 15:18Speaker 8: Yeah, I can bring this up to her, but she's
- 15:23Speaker 8: really focusing on getting the magic shave on and getting
- 15:25Speaker 8: the bed at all.
- 15:26Speaker 5: But that's will run that bar first before we spend
- 15:29Speaker 5: the money on the magic chip. You're not gonna get
- 15:31Speaker 5: a case. Well, now she needs more than a case,
- 15:35Speaker 5: pastor to get all that hair off. Well, see first
- 15:38Speaker 5: you have to shave it down or nephew, then you
- 15:41Speaker 5: use magic chick, you know, put it over the us.
- 15:44Speaker 1: That's deacon. It's not nephew, it's deacon. Okay, well, old character,
- 15:54Speaker 1: get it together, reverenced, here's something that you need to know.
- 15:58Speaker 8: Past to our sister the Conde Jenkins and brother Levonte
- 16:02Speaker 8: Rivers are scheduled to be married in three weeks. Instead
- 16:07Speaker 8: of you doing the wedding, they are requesting Bishop Carry,
- 16:10Speaker 8: who just did.
- 16:11Speaker 1: The wraw wedding for Prince Harry and making Marca.
- 16:15Speaker 8: They want him, as well as thirty men on heart
- 16:17Speaker 8: as escort m to the reception as they ride.
- 16:21Speaker 1: In a carry. Yes.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Well, well, well look like I won't be doing the wedding.
- 16:29Speaker 5: Huh well, well, I'm just saying this. Good luck in
- 16:34Speaker 5: getting outside or help, which is wedding. You might can
- 16:39Speaker 5: get the preacher that did. Oh yeah, markle with man.
- 16:43Speaker 5: You might be able. I don't know him, but you may.
- 16:46Speaker 5: You may be a putel train. Come up with the
- 16:48Speaker 5: necessary fee.
- 16:49Speaker 1: But I tell you what, You're not gonna have thirty
- 16:51Speaker 1: damn horses though, I bet you don't have money for that.
- 16:58Speaker 8: M All right, past the word on, Pastor, listen beyond
- 17:03Speaker 8: say just about a new thirty dogs dogs don't nobody won't.
- 17:08Speaker 8: That's not elegant, the pastor. The elegance is when the
- 17:11Speaker 8: horse says an elegance costs money. Deacon, I understand. I'm
- 17:16Speaker 8: just telling you what they wanted.
- 17:17Speaker 1: But they quit where they were. Well quit. Uh, here's
- 17:23Speaker 1: something you need to know, Pastor. The trips. The turch
- 17:26Speaker 1: robes have now been converted with the pins in them.
- 17:32Speaker 8: The choir would be singing a marathon concert to raise
- 17:36Speaker 8: money for their summer trip to Jerusalem. Members are complaining.
- 17:40Speaker 8: They're saying, this concert is going to stink. It's up
- 17:44Speaker 8: to you to fix this one. Past once again, well,
- 17:49Speaker 8: I understand the need for the quir to have a
- 17:54Speaker 8: marathon country. Now do understand off the application of the
- 17:59Speaker 8: pins side of the rope?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Yeah? They then now you did do you? Now you
- 18:05Speaker 1: step into the road.
- 18:06Speaker 8: You step into the road and you actually you stepping
- 18:09Speaker 8: into the depending as you.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Can ride right right right, kind of like a jumper. Yeah,
- 18:13Speaker 1: and you zip it out. Okay, Well that's gonna be interesting.
- 18:18Speaker 5: If sister Bernice needs help with her robe, a little
- 18:23Speaker 5: sister her to step down in her because Lord.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Him, yeah, loud onion on that woman, God Jesus start
- 18:34Speaker 1: off fault creator of the.
- 18:40Speaker 5: I'm not talking about the one down that out back either.
- 18:45Speaker 5: I'm talking about the original blooming you.
- 18:52Speaker 8: It'll make your crime put tears in yes, all right
- 18:59Speaker 8: past the mister Glenda Fraser will be doing how sug
- 19:03Speaker 8: Avery song and dance. He's asking that all the men
- 19:07Speaker 8: come out and making rain this Wednesday night at the
- 19:09Speaker 8: juke joint around the corner.
- 19:11Speaker 1: He said, you gave her one hundred dollars the last
- 19:14Speaker 1: time I gave you her.
- 19:15Speaker 5: One hundred dollars to stop. So she might have been
- 19:19Speaker 5: doing the shug avery day, but she looked just like sugar,
- 19:22Speaker 5: like I just learned something that was shug avery. This
- 19:31Speaker 5: over time, because I swear to God, I thought it
- 19:34Speaker 5: was shooting, not death, real basting death row sugar like
- 19:42Speaker 5: look just like it scared me to death. So that
- 19:49Speaker 5: hundred I gave her was to stop. Get down right, girl,
- 19:57Speaker 5: I got a visual just like it.
- 20:00Speaker 9: Lord Uh coming up next as the CLO our Chief

- 20:26Speaker 9: We got a room at a hotel by the airport

- 21:10Speaker 1: around tho blods. I didn't find it.
- 21:15Speaker 5: My wife found Now I'm not a convincing lie where

- 23:23Speaker 9: So this is this is why men shouldn't cheat though,
- 23:28Speaker 9: All right, sloppy surely?
- 23:30Speaker 1: Uh just dumb? All right, here we go.
- 23:35Speaker 9: Anna in Atlanta says, we have new neighbors and my
- 23:38Speaker 9: husband and I think they're swingers. They have a lot
- 23:40Speaker 9: of company that stays at their house all night on
- 23:43Speaker 9: the weekends. And we figured either their swingers or renting
- 23:47Speaker 9: out room. We don't like the extra traffic in our neighborhood.
- 23:51Speaker 9: So do we have the right to ask what they're
- 23:53Speaker 9: up to?
- 23:54Speaker 4: Hell?
- 23:55Speaker 1: No, that ain't your house, that ain't your business, that
- 23:59Speaker 1: ain't your man. You ain't here wotan they have who
- 24:03Speaker 1: they wanted their house?
- 24:06Speaker 6: What's wrong with you?
- 24:08Speaker 1: Where is thy ass?
- 24:12Speaker 9: Neighborhood watching let me pass them, don't know. Forget the
- 24:22Speaker 9: extra traffic in the neighborhood and all that. Just forget
- 24:24Speaker 9: everything out.
- 24:25Speaker 1: What are they talking about? Extra tase?
- 24:27Speaker 5: Some people spend the night at their house all the time.
- 24:29Speaker 5: They can do what they want to do. They ain't
- 24:31Speaker 5: disturbing the peace. They ain't in your yard, ain't throwing
- 24:34Speaker 5: trash in your yard. They ain't parking in your driveway.
- 24:37Speaker 5: You can't go over there and talk to them people
- 24:39Speaker 5: about what what it is is? You really want to
- 24:41Speaker 5: know what they're doing. That's all that is. You can't
- 24:47Speaker 5: go over there and talk to nobody about that. I
- 24:49Speaker 5: wish you would go on over there.
- 24:52Speaker 1: All right, All right?
- 24:56Speaker 9: Moving on to Taylor in Southfield. Taylor says, I'm twenty single,
- 25:00Speaker 9: but I'm dating. My bestie is a male and he
- 25:04Speaker 9: wants us to buy a house together. I want to
- 25:06Speaker 9: buy something, but not sure if living with a man
- 25:09Speaker 9: will mess up my dating life. He's got a girlfriend
- 25:12Speaker 9: and she doesn't care.
- 25:12Speaker 1: What should I do?
- 25:14Speaker 5: All y'all stupid, everybody in this question stupid. First of all,
- 25:23Speaker 5: he want to buy something, she want to buy something.
- 25:26Speaker 5: He want to buy a house and want to buy
- 25:28Speaker 5: with her and his girlfriend?
- 25:30Speaker 1: Don't mind what it gonna make sense?
- 25:34Speaker 7: Right?
- 25:34Speaker 5: And then you're talking about you single, but you dating
- 25:38Speaker 5: and you you want to buy something? You thinking about
- 25:41Speaker 5: it with him? But will it mess up your dating life?
- 25:44Speaker 5: You stupid? He's stupid? You stupid? His girlfriend is stupid.
- 25:50Speaker 5: What are y'all talking about?
- 25:53Speaker 4: To tell them?
- 25:54Speaker 1: Why you think they're so stupid?
- 25:55Speaker 5: You want to buy something, save your money and buy
- 25:59Speaker 5: What did you over there with him for? And why
- 26:02Speaker 5: do you think he wants to move in with shoe?
- 26:05Speaker 5: Come boy, why don't he move in with his girlfriend friend?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Because he don't want her. He won't shoe with shoes.
- 26:19Speaker 5: Gonna sit up there and move in. He want to
- 26:21Speaker 5: buy a house together his girlfriend. Don't mind his girlfriend,
- 26:25Speaker 5: don't mind? Who is this stupid?
- 26:26Speaker 1: Health?
- 26:33Speaker 5: There's some there's some ignorant mass right here. You know,
- 26:35Speaker 5: the new way of doing things? I think so, you know,
- 26:40Speaker 5: young people, this is one of the greatest generations we've
- 26:42Speaker 5: had in a long time. I really respect their abilities
- 26:46Speaker 5: and skill sets and ditch and different way of accomplishing
- 26:50Speaker 5: some things. But it's some stuff that's old fashioned. Man
- 26:54Speaker 5: ain't finna go out of style. And love is one
- 26:57Speaker 5: of them.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Love.
- 26:57Speaker 5: Ain't finna ever go out of style and want to
- 27:00Speaker 5: be somebody somebody. Ain't finna go out of style. Y'all
- 27:04Speaker 5: keep trying these new fangle ass ways in these relationships.
- 27:07Speaker 5: That's why I'm so jacked up now. Gonna send up
- 27:11Speaker 5: here buy a house with your friend who's got another girlfriend,
- 27:15Speaker 5: and she don't mind if y'all get a house together.
- 27:18Speaker 1: But he want to buy the house with you, but
- 27:20Speaker 1: you want to be singing with you. He's a best
- 27:23Speaker 1: he's her bestie. No Besty wants to sleep with you.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Break it all the way down. I really understand. Yeah
- 27:37Speaker 1: there is yeah bad idea, Taylor.
- 27:40Speaker 10: All right, thank you, Clo, you're listening.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Morning show.
- 27:47Speaker 9: I gotta ask the guys, what was the best summer
- 27:50Speaker 9: job you ever had? And what job would you not
- 27:53Speaker 9: do again, no matter how much it paid?
- 27:56Speaker 6: Steve?
- 27:57Speaker 5: What job would I not do again, no matter how
- 28:00Speaker 5: you're paid? That foundry at for a motor.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Come, Oh, you you wouldn't do that.
- 28:07Speaker 5: I wouldn't do that, and I would not do no
- 28:09Speaker 5: the worst that you know, the Foundry, I didn't like it,
- 28:14Speaker 5: the assimilar line at Ford.
- 28:16Speaker 7: Man.
- 28:16Speaker 5: I have some cool people I work with that wasn't bad.
- 28:19Speaker 5: Going to work wasn't what I was meant to do.
- 28:21Speaker 5: But uh, the linking electric is the worst job I've
- 28:26Speaker 5: ever had.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I hate it. What did you do there? What did
- 28:28Speaker 1: you do that?
- 28:29Speaker 5: I wrap coil wire? You It's really it's tough. You
- 28:34Speaker 5: know what dies are.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Dies are these.
- 28:37Speaker 5: Small round things that you pull wire through, and every
- 28:40Speaker 5: die gets smaller. So the wire goes through and compresses
- 28:44Speaker 5: and shaves down and gets thinner and thinner. So let's
- 28:47Speaker 5: say the wire starts like a microphone cord, okay, and
- 28:52Speaker 5: what you're trying to get it down to is a
- 28:57Speaker 5: chord wire that goes in side of inside of speaker whire.
- 29:04Speaker 1: It is really yeah, So you put that through.
- 29:06Speaker 5: The die and it goes through this machine at a
- 29:09Speaker 5: high speed, and every diet goes through every six eight
- 29:12Speaker 5: feet gets small and smaller, and it wraps up into
- 29:16Speaker 5: a big coil.
- 29:18Speaker 1: And then you got to box it up and put
- 29:20Speaker 1: it on the pallet.
- 29:21Speaker 5: Now to break even, your dad had to make two
- 29:23Speaker 5: hundred and thirty eight boxes a day.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Wow, it'd be some days. I finished. I got eighty
- 29:32Speaker 1: thirty short.
- 29:37Speaker 6: Ugly, I mean, you.
- 29:38Speaker 5: Know, but now you're gonna get a guarantee, but to
- 29:42Speaker 5: get the bonus you had to make extra and at
- 29:46Speaker 5: the end of the year, guys was getting fifty thousand
- 29:48Speaker 5: dollars bonuses.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Sixty five thousand dollars bonus. What you get? I ain't
- 29:53Speaker 1: never get a bonus. Oh you didn't even get a
- 29:56Speaker 1: bonus period? Why was it? Why was you so low
- 30:00Speaker 1: with yours? I hate it? Thank you, Tommy. You just
- 30:03Speaker 1: hated man.
- 30:04Speaker 5: I didn't like doing the mechanical work to keep the
- 30:06Speaker 5: line running because you had to change ther dies all
- 30:08Speaker 5: the time, because the respect to come by and tell
- 30:12Speaker 5: you that your wire has a score in it, which
- 30:14Speaker 5: means a little scratch.
- 30:16Speaker 1: That means one of the dies is wore out and
- 30:18Speaker 1: you don't catch it.
- 30:20Speaker 5: And then the inspector come by and x out all
- 30:24Speaker 5: your boxes in the box with the scores and it
- 30:27Speaker 5: got to go. So you lose fifteen fifteen boxes went
- 30:33Speaker 5: up inspected. Come it was I hate it.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Wow, you're depressed telling us about it? So at that?
- 30:42Speaker 1: What how old were you then?
- 30:44Speaker 11: Oh?
- 30:46Speaker 1: Twenty three? So that was one of your first full
- 30:51Speaker 1: time jobs. Right after did you quit? Did you quit
- 30:55Speaker 1: or they fired?
- 30:56Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 30:56Speaker 1: I quit? I made story.
- 31:02Speaker 10: Say what is happening.
- 31:05Speaker 1: You're not doing any business.
- 31:07Speaker 5: Came through the small business, opened up, carp clean and
- 31:14Speaker 5: coming down. I didn't have no loan. I just wanted
- 31:17Speaker 5: to walk out with dignity. Look, hall, man, we're gonna
- 31:20Speaker 5: miss you. Man.
- 31:21Speaker 1: You a good dude. Man, he was funny.
- 31:23Speaker 7: Man.
- 31:23Speaker 1: You kept us live in here. Man with that, Why
- 31:26Speaker 1: I have been whooping your behind that.
- 31:30Speaker 5: Sad I was dying. Tell me I was dying, man.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Word midnight shipt from midnight to eight in the morning.
- 31:38Speaker 5: I would be so so coming home I drive by
- 31:40Speaker 5: my exit. Wow, that's how sleepy I would be. I
- 31:45Speaker 5: missed my exit at least five times.
- 31:48Speaker 9: Okay, so let's switch it and ask you what was
- 31:51Speaker 9: the best summer job you had, because that depressed us.
- 31:54Speaker 5: All.
- 31:55Speaker 1: I got a job at a swimming pool as a
- 31:57Speaker 1: lifeguard and can't swim. That's the best job in college.
- 32:03Speaker 5: I got a job at the shimming pool of watching
- 32:06Speaker 5: girls as a lifeguard and couldn't swim.
- 32:08Speaker 1: So that you had just hoping when nobody.
- 32:10Speaker 8: Get into Did anybody ever get in a in a
- 32:14Speaker 8: drastic situation?
- 32:16Speaker 9: No?
- 32:17Speaker 1: Thank god? Oh you got lucky, man.
- 32:21Speaker 5: I had all the life ramps and stuff over there,
- 32:24Speaker 5: I have so much stuff in that pool. I was
- 32:25Speaker 5: throwing furniture in the pool. I had so much furniture
- 32:27Speaker 5: in the pool that one dude got in trouble and
- 32:30Speaker 5: I threw so much stuff in the pool he could
- 32:32Speaker 5: walk out.
- 32:33Speaker 1: He just threw a style foam cool out. I had
- 32:36Speaker 1: so much pool more furniture that he could walk out.
- 32:40Speaker 10: So they didn't test you or anything to see if
- 32:42Speaker 10: you could swim.
- 32:43Speaker 1: They just hired you on the spot. That's crazy.
- 32:45Speaker 5: Well, what happened was my name was Steve Harvey. Yes,
- 32:50Speaker 5: of course, it was a white guy at the school
- 32:52Speaker 5: named Steve Darby. Okay, he didn't come to work, so
- 32:56Speaker 5: I went, oh and I'm He said, are you Steve Arby?
- 33:02Speaker 1: I went yeah, no problem.
- 33:05Speaker 5: He said, were you go handing me that little red thing?
- 33:08Speaker 5: He said, where's your shorts? Okay, so I told him
- 33:13Speaker 5: I have him tomorrow. I just bought my pants that
- 33:15Speaker 5: I rolled him up and sat up on this chair,
- 33:18Speaker 5: not a lifeguard things with the lady told him my
- 33:24Speaker 5: name is Steve Harvey. I got paid man about six weeks.
- 33:29Speaker 1: What so Steve Darby never came back, No white guy.
- 33:35Speaker 5: I have no idea what happened to this to he
- 33:37Speaker 5: ain't show up, Steve Harvey went on in there and
- 33:41Speaker 5: got the lifegu opposite, anybody had a drown in their pool,
- 33:44Speaker 5: they'd have been dead. Well god, I can't say nobody
- 33:48Speaker 5: it wasn't about to jump in that deep and in
- 33:53Speaker 5: tuble in this five foot.
- 33:57Speaker 8: And we know this just when the margin trying to
- 33:59Speaker 8: get in the water in Hawaii. You remember that he almost.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Yes he did, Yes, he did. And you did you
- 34:06Speaker 1: ever learn to swim?
- 34:07Speaker 6: Steve?
- 34:08Speaker 1: Yeah? I know how to swim a little bit?
- 34:09Speaker 7: You know.
- 34:09Speaker 6: I know how.
- 34:11Speaker 1: You got ca I have I have get back, get
- 34:15Speaker 1: back whatever I fell off of I can swim good,
- 34:18Speaker 1: get out. He gotta get out now that swim cross down.
- 34:24Speaker 1: That ain't gonna hap.
- 34:26Speaker 9: I'm so glad you found your purpose. I'm so glad
- 34:29Speaker 9: you found your purpose.
- 34:30Speaker 1: I had some money.
- 34:31Speaker 8: Man.
- 34:32Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 34:34Speaker 4: Morning show?
- 34:35Speaker 9: All right, guys, it is time for a round of
- 34:37Speaker 9: would you rather? Would you rather eat Chicago hot dogs
- 34:43Speaker 9: or Chicago deep dish pizza for a week?
- 34:48Speaker 1: Hot dog for me? I mean, I love, I love,
- 34:51Speaker 1: I love both of them, But that damn going pizza.
- 34:54Speaker 6: Man.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Now I'm gonna have to go on a deep body

- 35:05Speaker 1: Day weekend, right, Yeah, I'm on the cleans.
- 35:07Speaker 5: But no, when I eat that a week of deep dish,
- 35:10Speaker 5: I'm gonna have to I'm gonna have to start with

- 35:17Speaker 7: Good.
- 35:20Speaker 1: You made you point, Okay, I'm talking about damn, gonna
- 35:25Speaker 1: have to get the water hole. Damn here absolutely with
- 35:31Speaker 1: the naws alone it.
- 35:34Speaker 5: Why can squeeze that handle and get forced. I might
- 35:37Speaker 5: have to use a pressure washing.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Not a pressure washer.
- 35:43Speaker 5: I'm about half water hair water coming out of my nose.
- 35:49Speaker 5: I damn there drowned.
- 35:51Speaker 1: That's a crazy visual. All right? Would you rather we're
- 35:54Speaker 1: moving on because you're crazy?
- 35:56Speaker 9: Would you rather have sex in a helicopter b or
- 36:00Speaker 9: that's in a space shuttle.
- 36:02Speaker 1: I can't get in this space shoveling waits. You're just floating.
- 36:05Speaker 1: You can float and do it.
- 36:06Speaker 5: Yeah, that's cool because I'm not going to make me.
- 36:09Speaker 5: That's too far not to be able to get back.
- 36:12Speaker 5: But I ain't gonna be able to do it in
- 36:14Speaker 5: the helicopter. There's no way I can do it in
- 36:18Speaker 5: the helicopter.
- 36:19Speaker 1: I can't. No, I got nothing to do with the size.
- 36:25Speaker 5: I can't look out this window, see the damn ground
- 36:28Speaker 5: like this, and expect to perform.
- 36:30Speaker 1: That can't happen. You're all the way out of the
- 36:33Speaker 1: mood after.
- 36:33Speaker 6: You see that.
- 36:34Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, there's nothing in me that's
- 36:37Speaker 1: gonna be excited. Once I know I'm in the air
- 36:40Speaker 1: and I can hear that blade.
- 36:44Speaker 8: Uh huh, I'm going. I'm going with the space booty
- 36:46Speaker 8: space booty wave.
- 36:49Speaker 1: You're not taking my ass up your space. And then
- 36:52Speaker 1: it's something happened I can't get back. We ain't finna
- 36:54Speaker 1: do that gravity. I'm going to get in this helicopter
- 36:59Speaker 1: and just had wan going, Oh he wasn't about nothing
- 37:03Speaker 1: to talk about you your show?
- 37:07Speaker 9: Would you rather have long toenails or short baby teeth?
- 37:11Speaker 9: Which one little baby teeth or long toning?
- 37:14Speaker 5: No, hell no, I'm gonna get them long ass toenails.
- 37:17Speaker 5: What I can't do is open up my mouth and
- 37:19Speaker 5: all of a sudden my teeth look like corn.
- 37:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with the man, my big old gog.
- 37:30Speaker 1: I got these big ass hips.
- 37:31Speaker 5: Open them on my little big ass teeth in there. Man,
- 37:35Speaker 5: you I gotta have teeth to get around these lips, all.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Right, All right? Thank you.
- 37:44Speaker 9: That's today's round of would you rather you're listening Hard
- 37:48Speaker 9: Morning Show? Well, Stephen Tommy, you two are like the
- 37:52Speaker 9: grilling experts on the show, the barbecue experts on the show.
- 37:57Speaker 10: So I wanted to know if you guys had any
- 37:59Speaker 10: tips us hips for grilling.
- 38:02Speaker 1: For grilling, let me go, let me go first, he's
- 38:04Speaker 1: been cooking on that helm. Let me go.
- 38:06Speaker 8: This is what bothers me about people grilling. Quit putting
- 38:11Speaker 8: all that light of.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Fluid on your charcoal all your woods. That just drives
- 38:17Speaker 1: me crazy. Do you realize your meat smells just like
- 38:22Speaker 1: that light of fluid.
- 38:23Speaker 8: It tastes like that. Come on, man, get you some wood.
- 38:28Speaker 8: They got some natural wood starters that you can put
- 38:32Speaker 8: in there and light those up. And now your wood
- 38:35Speaker 8: or your charcoal, whichever one you using, doesn't taste like
- 38:38Speaker 8: a smell like all this gas light of fluid you
- 38:41Speaker 8: can put on that.
- 38:41Speaker 1: That's that's one of my tips right there. That's a
- 38:43Speaker 1: pet peeble man eat.
- 38:45Speaker 5: So let me just piggyback off that and say to
- 38:50Speaker 5: start your fire. They sell, they'd sell. What time he's
- 38:54Speaker 5: talking about is fire starters, wood starters whereber little white
- 38:58Speaker 5: chunks they got match sticks that burn naturally that you
- 39:02Speaker 5: can put on it. But they have these things that
- 39:05Speaker 5: look like coffee cans. They look like a big giant
- 39:10Speaker 5: coffee mug. You put your charcoal in it and light
- 39:13Speaker 5: it from the bottom right, and that can get your
- 39:17Speaker 5: charcoal started a little bit more even for you. You
- 39:21Speaker 5: don't pour the charcoal in the basin of your thing.
- 39:24Speaker 5: You pour the charcoal in this like big round pot
- 39:28Speaker 5: and it started like that. Yes, it's gotta handle on it.
- 39:31Speaker 5: Then you just pour it in there and they'll burn.
- 39:33Speaker 5: Even this is little stuff you can learn. I have
- 39:36Speaker 5: another tip.
- 39:36Speaker 1: When it's my tip.
- 39:38Speaker 8: Okay, here's another people that people that are you know, amateurs,
- 39:42Speaker 8: are grilling. They throw their chicken on and then you think,
- 39:45Speaker 8: twenty minutes later your chicken is done.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Your chicken ain't done? Okay, surely good and it's a sport.
- 39:59Speaker 1: And why are you while we talking about cooking? Why
- 40:04Speaker 1: up trying to stay awake? Why it takes so long?
- 40:07Speaker 1: We'll learn how to cook. Would be awake? Hell, the
- 40:11Speaker 1: people come over your house and not leave so much.
- 40:14Speaker 1: If you can cook, you have bring something. So listen.
- 40:19Speaker 8: While you're cooking your chicken, keep flipping it and don't
- 40:22Speaker 8: be afraid the slice a piece and see what. Yeah,
- 40:25Speaker 8: if you see a little light red water, you need
- 40:28Speaker 8: to cook a little long. That means it's still some
- 40:29Speaker 8: blood in that. Keep cooking your chicken, keep flipping it,
- 40:33Speaker 8: and keep cooking. That's all I'm asking.
- 40:34Speaker 5: Look, man, grilling ain't no thing where you can leave
- 40:37Speaker 5: your meat for ten minutes and walk off somewhere.
- 40:39Speaker 1: That ain't There's some people going in the house for
- 40:42Speaker 1: thirty minutes.
- 40:43Speaker 8: What did you know?
- 40:44Speaker 5: You can't do that when you grilling. Grilling is a sport,
- 40:48Speaker 5: it's an activity. You got to move that chicken to
- 40:51Speaker 5: the front, to the back. Go ahead, okay, okay, let's
- 40:56Speaker 5: go back real yeah, go ahead that one.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Jay, Okay.
- 41:00Speaker 12: I know nothing about grilling.
- 41:01Speaker 1: I think what you guys are saying is great.
- 41:04Speaker 12: If you add a barbecue, please bring good ass plates.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Okay.
- 41:09Speaker 12: If the sign says cheap plates. If it says cheap plates,
- 41:14Speaker 12: damn it, don't bring them. Okay, it says cheap plates,
- 41:18Speaker 12: right there, bring good ass plates.
- 41:20Speaker 4: All right?
- 41:21Speaker 8: All right, here's one quick. When I give it back
- 41:24Speaker 8: on the steak. When you when you he said your charcoals,
- 41:27Speaker 8: are you eaving them out?
- 41:29Speaker 7: You know?
- 41:29Speaker 1: When you get it, when you get it going. But
- 41:31Speaker 1: some of us like to have a real hot side
- 41:34Speaker 1: and then a warm side while you cook it. You understand.
- 41:37Speaker 8: But you may have more wood or more charcoals on
- 41:40Speaker 8: one side and then on another side you got you
- 41:42Speaker 8: still got wooden charcoals, but it's not as heavy as
- 41:44Speaker 8: the other side.
- 41:45Speaker 1: That's just one of my tips.
- 41:46Speaker 5: Yeah, my tip is I have the backside of my grill.
- 41:51Speaker 5: I put no charcoal back there. On the backside, I.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Put none so you could move some meat off that heat.
- 42:00Speaker 5: If it's cooking. Two fangs, the cooler those are. You
- 42:03Speaker 5: gotta have what Tim is talking about, a cool spot
- 42:05Speaker 5: on the grill. I put no charcoal on the back.
- 42:09Speaker 5: On the back and forth of the grill, I put
- 42:11Speaker 5: no chocolate.
- 42:12Speaker 1: This was so exciting. And you can set the money on.
- 42:15Speaker 1: You can set the meat on top of each.
- 42:17Speaker 5: Piece if you have to to keep it off the stacket.
- 42:21Speaker 5: And Shirley, don't rush us with your learn picking nad.
- 42:25Speaker 5: There's people who care about this.
- 42:27Speaker 1: This is fast for a plate. Though. Yes, ain't nobody
- 42:33Speaker 1: coming to your house eating no damn crock pod on
- 42:35Speaker 1: my morning. We gotta go.
- 42:37Speaker 9: Coming up next to nephew with today's prank phone right
- 42:40Speaker 9: after this, you're listening morning show coming up at the
- 42:46Speaker 9: top of the hour, about four minutes after. It's my
- 42:48Speaker 9: strawberry letter for today. The subject he left the restaurant
- 42:52Speaker 9: with his wife. Okay, we'll get into that in just

- 44:50Speaker 7: from six to eight. Hopefully that won't be a problem.
- 44:52Speaker 11: You make you make money doing yoga?
- 44:54Speaker 7: Yes, sir, I definitely do. I make enough, definitely to
- 44:57Speaker 7: cover the red that's for sure.
- 44:58Speaker 11: Dad, shouldn't be a problem. I know, I know a
- 45:00Speaker 11: little bit about yoga.
- 45:01Speaker 7: That's that.
- 45:01Speaker 11: I mean, really, if y'all you know you're not making
- 45:03Speaker 11: no noise that yoga, that's not a problem.
- 45:05Speaker 7: A good deal. Well, how quick can I actually get
- 45:08Speaker 7: moved in? Man? I'm trying to get settled. I just
- 45:09Speaker 7: moved in from the from the East coast. I jumped
- 45:12Speaker 7: on my yoga pretty quick and it got quite a
- 45:14Speaker 7: bit of clientele built up, and you know, I'm just
- 45:17Speaker 7: just ready to get started, get moved in man, something
- 45:19Speaker 7: that I can actually call home, you know.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Uh yeah, well you know we're looking to rent rented
- 45:23Speaker 3: out pretty quick, you know, because we want to try
- 45:26Speaker 3: and get it filled as soon as possible.
- 45:27Speaker 7: Because you said, well are you are you? You got
- 45:30Speaker 7: a roommate your you're.
- 45:33Speaker 11: It would be me and my wife and uh we
- 45:35Speaker 11: just a three bedroom home. You would have the room
- 45:37Speaker 11: in the back with the bathroom and uh yeah, like
- 45:39Speaker 11: ay fifty do a credit check right, you know, we
- 45:42Speaker 11: mean I can do the background check and.
- 45:44Speaker 7: Uh now what what what what? What?

- 45:47Speaker 7: What? What do you necessarily need to do that for?
- 45:49Speaker 11: Well, you got to know who you're into, and then
- 45:51Speaker 11: you want to know what the credit they got, so

- 46:09Speaker 7: Okay, but let me let me go ahead, just do this,
- 46:11Speaker 7: man on that background check, because you know what I
- 46:14Speaker 7: want to say about that is this there might be
- 46:16Speaker 7: something on there about like when I was on the
- 46:18Speaker 7: East Coast. You know, I was actually teaching, uh, naked yoga.

- 47:35Speaker 3: does next?
- 47:35Speaker 7: Yo, we always it's just it's just it's just a

- 52:40Speaker 9: All right, thank you, Junior in for Tommy subject he
- 52:45Speaker 9: left the restaurant with his wife. Okay, Dear Stephen, Shirley,
- 52:50Speaker 9: I was dating mister Wright for almost one year and
- 52:54Speaker 9: we got a condo together and looked at rings together.
- 52:57Speaker 9: He's a physician and his practice is about an hour
- 53:00Speaker 9: from where our condo is.
- 53:02Speaker 1: We dated publicly, and I met all his friends and
- 53:05Speaker 1: his sister.
- 53:06Speaker 9: He never gave me any reason to suspect that he
- 53:09Speaker 9: was married. He is an avid golfer in his spare time,
- 53:12Speaker 9: and he usually stays at the resort where he golfs
- 53:16Speaker 9: on the weekend. Again, I had no idea that he
- 53:19Speaker 9: was married, since he spends most nights with me and
- 53:22Speaker 9: a few nights in the city where his medical practice is.
- 53:26Speaker 9: Two weeks ago, he decided we'd go to the wharf
- 53:29Speaker 9: and have a nice dinner with another couple. I got
- 53:32Speaker 9: excited because I thought he might be ready to propose.
- 53:35Speaker 9: We'd never been to this restaurant before, but when we
- 53:38Speaker 9: got there, all the waiters and staff there greeted him
- 53:42Speaker 9: and called him by name. We sat in a private room,
- 53:45Speaker 9: and my stomach was in nuts the whole time, because
- 53:49Speaker 9: I thought tonight was the night. As we got to
- 53:53Speaker 9: dessert and had had a few cocktails, the door opened
- 53:56Speaker 9: and a woman walked in wearing sweats and a bonnet.
- 54:02Speaker 9: She said thanks to the waiter, and she walked toward us.
- 54:07Speaker 9: She came to our table and asked my man to
- 54:09Speaker 9: get up and come with her. My man smiled at
- 54:13Speaker 9: me and squeezed my hand under the table. Before he
- 54:16Speaker 9: got up, he asked the other guy to handle the
- 54:19Speaker 9: check and make sure I got home safely. I jumped
- 54:22Speaker 9: up and asked what was going on. The woman advised
- 54:26Speaker 9: me to sit back down and enjoy the.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Rest of my evening. My man didn't even look my way.
- 54:34Speaker 9: I sat down, and the woman at the table told
- 54:36Speaker 9: me that that was Jim's wife. Well, Jim and I
- 54:39Speaker 9: have created a life together and he hasn't reached out
- 54:42Speaker 9: to me in almost two weeks.
- 54:44Speaker 1: What do I do now?
- 54:46Speaker 9: Okay, I think you already know the answer to this.
- 54:50Speaker 9: You don't have many choices here, you really don't. But
- 54:54Speaker 9: the one thing you have to do is pick up
- 54:56Speaker 9: the pieces and try to get your life back on track.
- 54:59Speaker 9: You got to move on, You have to. I mean,
- 55:02Speaker 9: this man is married, plain and simple. His friends know it, obviously,
- 55:06Speaker 9: the waiters at the restaurant knows it.
- 55:09Speaker 1: He knows it.
- 55:10Speaker 4: He just didn't tell you.
- 55:11Speaker 1: You were the only one in the dark, and for
- 55:13Speaker 1: almost a year he was able to keep this going.
- 55:16Speaker 1: How did you guys get a condo together without you
- 55:20Speaker 1: knowing this.
- 55:21Speaker 9: You looked at rings. He didn't buy your ring, but
- 55:23Speaker 9: you looked at rings together. You know, obviously he has money.
- 55:27Speaker 9: He's a doctor. So what he's doing is staying with you.
- 55:31Speaker 9: And you know some of those nights when he stays
- 55:34Speaker 9: with you, but the other nights he's with his wife.
- 55:36Speaker 1: Obviously.
- 55:37Speaker 9: I guess they're still together, because she certainly thought they did.
- 55:41Speaker 9: They were all the waiters knew her as well.
- 55:44Speaker 1: So what do you do now?
- 55:45Speaker 9: Like I said, pick up those pieces, start to move
- 55:48Speaker 9: on with your life. This man has not reached out
- 55:51Speaker 9: to you in almost two weeks. The last thing you
- 55:53Speaker 9: heard from him is when he squeezed your hand under
- 55:56Speaker 9: the table and told his friend to make sure you
- 55:59Speaker 9: got home safely. Well, his friend did that. It's no
- 56:01Speaker 9: use in trying to chase after this guy, It really isn't.
- 56:05Speaker 9: He's got a wife.
- 56:06Speaker 1: You don't need.
- 56:06Speaker 9: All that you need to figure out about the situation
- 56:11Speaker 9: with this condo is his name on it, is your
- 56:13Speaker 9: name on it? Can you stay there? Can you sell
- 56:15Speaker 9: it and get something else? That's what you need to
- 56:17Speaker 9: be concentrating on right now, Steve.
- 56:21Speaker 5: All right, lord Lord, Lord dismain right here now, y'all
- 56:29Speaker 5: what I'm about to share, what y'all is. I know
- 56:31Speaker 5: exactly what happened in listening, Okay, I know all the inside.
- 56:37Speaker 5: I know what he said, I know he said how
- 56:40Speaker 5: he said it. I play golf, I know, I know
- 56:43Speaker 5: how he designed this whole thing. What I'm going to
- 56:46Speaker 5: reveal to you, I ain't gonna do it right now
- 56:50Speaker 5: when we come back. I just want to set y'all
- 56:52Speaker 5: off now. I want to apologize to the man that's listening.
- 56:57Speaker 5: Oh okay, because I'm going to expose the intricacies of
- 57:05Speaker 5: how this is all set up. Because this is a
- 57:11Speaker 5: set up, and I know every.
- 57:15Speaker 1: Move in here.
- 57:17Speaker 7: Now.
- 57:17Speaker 5: See, Sherley, you don't understand, no, see you thinking he's
- 57:23Speaker 5: a liar and a cheatah, but you don't know how
- 57:25Speaker 5: the setup has happened because in his mind, his friend's
- 57:31Speaker 5: mind and her mind, all this is going down.
- 57:36Speaker 1: Based on the setup.
- 57:40Speaker 5: See, it's the set up you keep from getting Remember now,
- 57:43Speaker 5: when we get to the park where they were in
- 57:45Speaker 5: a private room at a restaurant where they knew his name,
- 57:49Speaker 5: there's a reason for that. And the reason his friends
- 57:54Speaker 5: were there with other women is because.
- 57:58Speaker 1: They know to all liars and cheaters, so they all.
- 58:04Speaker 7: That is it?
- 58:04Speaker 1: You don't you don't know. Why did the woman so
- 58:09Speaker 1: calmly say to her that's Jim's wife. Because the women
- 58:15Speaker 1: are in on it too, right, I get that, but
- 58:21Speaker 1: lying in the cheating? No, no, they're in on the setup.
- 58:25Speaker 1: See who y'all keep looking at this too? Damn basic.
- 58:28Speaker 1: It's more complicated than.
- 58:31Speaker 8: That, is it?
- 58:32Speaker 1: Really?
- 58:33Speaker 8: All?
- 58:34Speaker 7: You do it?
- 58:35Speaker 1: Shirlie? You don't know the game? Okay, but when we
- 58:41Speaker 1: come back, I know a liar. I'm gonna tell it
- 58:45Speaker 1: to you. Now just hold on, we'll to your response
- 58:49Speaker 1: coming up. You're gonna water my response, This is some mess.
- 58:56Speaker 9: Subject left the restaurant with his wife. We'll get back
- 59:00Speaker 9: into it right after this. You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.

- 59:28Speaker 9: Globelifradio dot com again. That's one eight hundred two one
- 59:32Speaker 9: fifty four hundred. All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 59:36Speaker 9: today's strawberry letter. The subject he left the restaurant with
- 59:40Speaker 9: his wife.
- 59:41Speaker 5: He left a restaurant with his wife? Yeah, who else
- 59:44Speaker 5: he postedly restaurant within.
- 59:47Speaker 1: We read this letter, he didn't go in with his wife.
- 59:50Speaker 1: Now open, let me tell you why.
- 59:53Speaker 5: Dear Steven Shirley, I was dating mister Wright for almost
- 59:57Speaker 5: a year. We got a condo together, look for rings together.
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: The reason you got a condo together is the following line.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: He's a physician and his practice is about an hour
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: from where our condo is. So now his practice is
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: also in the same area that his wife and family
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: lives in. He got the condo because he's telling you
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: it's an hour away from his practice, which you've never
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: been to, by the way, which may not really be
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: an hour away. See you've never been there. Now, he's
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: a physician. He's practiced about an hour away from where
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: our condo is. We dated publicly, and I met all
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: of his friends and sisters. The reason you dated publicly
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: is because he has tald his friends and his family
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: that he and his wife are having difficulties. They are struggling,
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: and he told them that that's why his friends and
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: sisters has been looped in. He never gave me any
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: reason to suspect that he was married. No, he didn't
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: tell you he was married because he was planning on
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: it all.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Going away eventually.
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: He is an avid golfer in his spare time, and
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: he usually stays at the resort where he golfs on
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: the weekend.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: What boy, let me tell you something.
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: First of all, you get a golf membership within the
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: city confines of where you stayed. So if you're a
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: doctor within the city confines of where you say, you
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: can get to your practice and you can get to
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: your love of golf by just driving from your house.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: Don't nobody stay at the damn golf resort while they
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: play golf. And once again, you've never been to the
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: golf resort because he focuses on his game, because he's
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: an avid golfer.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: He is not at the golf course spending the night.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: He is at home.
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: With the wife that he's having trouble with. So now
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: again I had no idea. Again, I had no idea
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: that he was married, since he spends most nights with me.
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: He spends the night with you because he told his
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: wife that he gets calls in the middle of the
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: night and he'd rather be closer to the hospital than
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: to be at home. And since they have in trouble,
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: they're okay with that. She knows about another place, she
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: just don't know you in it. See y'all listen to
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: my setup, ladies. Two weeks ago, we decided to go
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: to the wharf, the wharf and have a nice dinner
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: with another couple, another couple, just one. I got excited
- 1:03:03Speaker 5: because I thought he might be ready to propose. We
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: never been to this restaurant before. But when we got there,
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: all the waiters and staff there greeted him and called
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: him by name. You know, doctors got stuff like that,
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: you know, famous people. We sat in the private room,
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: and my stomach was in notes the whole time. Yeah,
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: because you ain't know what hell in heaven. Your stomach
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: was in notchs because what you thought was gonna happen,
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: and your stomach were really in nas In a minute though,
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: because I thought the night was a night.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: As we got desserted and had had a few cocktails.
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: The door opened and a woman walked in wearing sweats
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: and a bonnet. She said thanks to the waiter, and
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: she walked towards us. She came to our table.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Now you're in a private room. Now our table.
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: I was young, no, no about no pride, r all,
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: this is exciting for you. She came down the table
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: and asked my man to get up and come with her.
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: My man smiled at me, squeezed my hand under the table.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: Before he got up. He asked the other guy to.
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: Handle the check, which is his boy, who knows what
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: the deal is, and to make sure I got home
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: safe because he doctored their physician. The ain't gonna make
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: no fool out theyself in here now. The wife ain't
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: gonna ta the restaurant up because she's with she. They
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: know them there. They come there off, but she got
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: a bonnet on. She just came up out of the house.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: You want Monique Monique the comedian.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: And told her about coming out like that. Oique told Joe,
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: don't be coming up here like this.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Here, but that's just a fly. It's not to handle
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: this business. Said it with love.
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: But now when you come out the door. Manna, Now
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: you forgot what Monique said? Well, anyway, you in got
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: a bonnet on and a tracksuit and the bottom don't
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: match the top. Course, she got dressed right quick. My
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: man smiled at me, squeezed my hand on the table.
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: Before he got up, he asked the other guy to
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: handle the check man. Hand a check point man, make
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: sure she get home safe. I jumped up and asked
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: what was going on. The woman advised me to sit
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: back down. See this is a physician's wife. Hey, show
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: ass back down. She didn't advise you, she said sit
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: down before you get put down.
- 1:05:39Speaker 9: All right, we'll be back with part three of the
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: Strawberry Letter for Jack.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: He left the restaurant with his wife?
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: What is he?
- 1:05:47Speaker 10: The liar?
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: He's a cheater?
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Yes, it's simple. We'll be back with more of the
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:00Speaker 9: Here we go with part three of today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:06:04Speaker 9: The subject is he left the restaurant with his wife.
- 1:06:07Speaker 9: It really should just be he's a liar and a cheater, Steve,
- 1:06:10Speaker 9: I don't get it.
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: The setup man left an important piece of information out
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: of this setup, and I will show you why the
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: whole fiasco has crumbled around him because of one gaping mistake.
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: He got a condoct with this woman because he done
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: told his wife he needs to be closer to the hospital.
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: His wife and I they've been all and having some troubles.
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: They do have some problems in the marriage, but that's
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: common a lot of marriages do. That's no reason to
- 1:06:38Speaker 5: cheat and get another place. But he got the place
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: where he decided to get the place with the girl.
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: So he got the place with the girl. Never told
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: his wife where. It was just his closer and then
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: they dated publicly, met all his friends and his sister
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: because he done told family and friends. They on the
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: outs he's tired of her. She's demanding there on the outs,
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: he's looking. He wants to be happy. So all of
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: them is okay because he's the position. He's been providing
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: for the family for a number of years. So the
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: af and the dog came out, and then his friends
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: just believe whatever he says because they're his boy. He's
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: an avid golfer in his spare time, and he usually
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: stays at the resort where he golfs on the weekend.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: That's not true.
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: No one gets a golf membership in the town way
- 1:07:22Speaker 5: away from where they stay, or they gotta go spend
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: the night. You go play golf, you have drinks at
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: the nineteenth Hold with you buddys, and you take your
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: hands home. So every weekend he's at home with his
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: wife because she knows he doesn't have practice during the weekend.
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: So now his wife thinks he's just coming home and
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: doing the week When he's spend the night at his condo,
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: it's gonna can be closer to the hospital.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: Ba da da da da da da da.
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: I had no idea he was married, since he spent
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: most of his nights where he's in the medical practices.
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: Two weeks ago, he decided to go to the wharf
- 1:07:52Speaker 5: and I have a nice dinner with another couple.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Got excited because he thought he was gonna marry. They
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: sit there having dinner.
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: Woman walks in with a bonnet and a tracksuit tells
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: him to get up and come with her. He squeezed
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: her hand under the table, smiles at her. Tell the dude, hey, man,
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: make sure she get home safe and paid the check.
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: I got up and said, hey, what's going on? She
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: advised me to sit back down. She said, if you
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: don't sit your black ass back down, you ain't gonna
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: see tomorrow, garden tool, That's what she said. I sat
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: back down, and a woman at the table told me
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: that was Jim's wife. Well, Jim and I have created
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: life together and he hasn't reached out to me in
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: almost two weeks.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: What do I do now?
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: The roosts is over.
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: The fiasco has fallen apart, and the only reason it
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: fell apart that night was caused the dumb ass physician
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: took you to a restaurant that he frequents often, and
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: everybody know him and know his wife, and one of
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: the waiters and the waitresses called his wife and said,
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: your damn husband down here with another moment.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: She got dressed right quick, came down there, and you luck.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: The only reason you like this letter is because it's
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: about golf too.
- 1:09:09Speaker 9: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:09:11Speaker 9: Show at the top of the hour.
- 1:09:12Speaker 10: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Let me tell you something.

- 1:11:36Speaker 1: should know so many of these?
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: Yeah, when you're driving and you muttered to yourself that

- 1:11:55Speaker 1: When you know you love come on, you make the
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: right turn, uh huh, and it's a no exit. It's you.

- 1:12:11Speaker 13: Any time you got to put your car in reverse
- 1:12:14Speaker 13: and look over your shoulder, I can't.

- 1:13:20Speaker 8: I'm gonna leave my car and you from here. I
- 1:13:25Speaker 8: just don't know where I was going.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: This is how you know you lost if you ever
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: say these three words right here?

- 1:17:18Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: I can't get in this space shoveling wait list. You're
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: just floating. You can float and do it, that's.
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: Cool, but I'm not going to make that's too far
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: to not to be able to get back. But I
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: ain't gonna be able to do it in the helicopter.
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: There's no way I can do it in the helicopter.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: I can't. No, I got nothing to do with the size.
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: I can't look out this window to see the damn
- 1:17:44Speaker 5: ground like this and expect to perform.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: That can't happen. You're all the way out of the
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: mood after you see that. I'm telling you right now,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: there's nothing in me that's gonna be excited. Once I
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: know I'm in the air and I can hear that blade.
- 1:18:01Speaker 8: I'm going, I'm going with the space booty, space booty,
- 1:18:06Speaker 8: you're not taking my ass.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Up his face. And then something happened. I can't get back.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: We ain't finna do that. Gravity.
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: I'm going to get in this helicopter and just have
- 1:18:16Speaker 5: the woman going, oh, he wasn't about nothing.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: To talk about? You to show.
- 1:18:24Speaker 9: Would you rather have long toenails or short baby teeth?
- 1:18:28Speaker 9: Which one little baby teeths? Or long toning?
- 1:18:31Speaker 5: No, hell no, I'm gonna get them long ass toenails.
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: What I can't do is open up my mouth and
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: all of a sudden that my teeth look like corn.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with the long ton man, my bigger
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: on dog.
- 1:18:47Speaker 5: I got these big ass hips, open them on my
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: little bit of ass teeth in there.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: Man, you I gotta have teeth to get around these lips.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: All right, all right, thank you?
- 1:19:00Speaker 9: What's today's round of would you Rather?
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Coming up? Next?
- 1:19:03Speaker 9: We'll have some closing remarks from the one and only
- 1:19:06Speaker 9: Steve Harvey at forty nine minutes after, and it'll be
- 1:19:08Speaker 9: our last break of the day.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening.
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:14Speaker 10: All right, Steve, we are at the crossroads.
- 1:19:17Speaker 9: I guess you can say the last break of the
- 1:19:19Speaker 9: day and time for you with your closing remarks.
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: You know, I think everybody can relate to what I'm
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: about to say. I always use myself as the primary
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: example of all my motivational moments and speeches, because I mean,
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: who better than yourself? I mean, you know, when you've
- 1:19:42Speaker 5: experienced something that's quite a up when you explaining it
- 1:19:48Speaker 5: to someone, you know, it's like, you know, hard to
- 1:19:52Speaker 5: have a golf instructor and the guy that's instructing you
- 1:19:56Speaker 5: to play golf has never played golf. Or you can't
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: have a swimming instructor and the swimming instructure don't know.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: How to swim.
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: It just doesn't make that much sense. I guess you
- 1:20:04Speaker 5: could do it, but what do they know about it?
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: So I try to use my own shortcomings or missteps
- 1:20:13Speaker 5: in life happenings to try to motivate everybody.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: As I see it.
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: One of the things that I've always been pretty good at,
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: and I'm having to pay attention closely again, is my
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: acceptance of God's will. You know, it's a funny thing, man,
- 1:20:39Speaker 5: but when you really really understand how life.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Really really works, everything is in order.
- 1:20:46Speaker 5: Even some of the challenges and tests that you're facing
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: is for a purpose, a reason. You're not having a
- 1:20:55Speaker 5: hardship in your life or a moment of challenging in
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: your life because it just happens upon you.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: No, there's some value in it.
- 1:21:06Speaker 5: Bishop Jakes was on my show and he said, beyond
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: every moment of pain, pain always leaves a present behind,
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: a gift, something for you to unbox, unwrap and learn
- 1:21:19Speaker 5: from it, grow from it, become better for it, become
- 1:21:23Speaker 5: experienced from it. And that's the gift that it always leaves.
- 1:21:27Speaker 5: One thing I've learned to accept is God's will. It's funny, man,
- 1:21:33Speaker 5: But on my Instagram, I was looking at my vault
- 1:21:40Speaker 5: Instagram where I was, you know, learning some things about.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: I was motivating someone on my vault thing.
- 1:21:50Speaker 5: There was a guy who came to my show and
- 1:21:52Speaker 5: the brother was up in the crowd and he was
- 1:21:54Speaker 5: talking about his life and how he you know, how
- 1:22:00Speaker 5: he wanted to start a company and he was having
- 1:22:06Speaker 5: trouble with starting the company and it was asking me,
- 1:22:10Speaker 5: you know what.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: I thought about it, And as he told me this
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: whole company I did.
- 1:22:16Speaker 5: And then and he was working at a job and
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: he had just lost his job and been laid off
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: and everything of that nature.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: And he kept looking at me and I said, well, hey, man,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: let me ask you a question. I said, what what.
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: Is your gift? And he said it's cooking? And I said, well,
- 1:22:38Speaker 5: why are you messing around selling computer ware? And I
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: told went on to tell him. I said, look, man,
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: I said, sometimes this layoff that you have and this
- 1:22:51Speaker 5: is God's way of getting you to move in the
- 1:22:53Speaker 5: direction that he has for you. I say, you know,
- 1:22:56Speaker 5: I did a video about jumping. I said, but sometimes
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: you don't jumped. Sometimes you get pushed. I said, because
- 1:23:03Speaker 5: God is fair. When God wants you to come around
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: to his way of thinking or seeing his plan, he
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: can allow for certain things to happen in your life
- 1:23:11Speaker 5: where you can actually see it the way He's wanted
- 1:23:14Speaker 5: you to see it all along. And so in his layoff,
- 1:23:19Speaker 5: it caused him to have to think of, Man, now
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: that I had his free time, what am I to do?
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Well?
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: As I was watching that video today on my vault
- 1:23:29Speaker 5: in powers Instagram, I'm actually gonna take it off today
- 1:23:34Speaker 5: and post it on my regular Instagram because I was
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: really talking to myself at the time that I was
- 1:23:44Speaker 5: that this video came out was made. It was made
- 1:23:47Speaker 5: months ago, but it was for me to hear myself
- 1:23:51Speaker 5: and in this time where people are. You know, I
- 1:23:54Speaker 5: appreciate people's concern. Don't get me wrong, I really really do.
- 1:23:58Speaker 5: I appreciate people pulling for me in and for in
- 1:24:01Speaker 5: hoping I'm okay, and I really am okay. I want
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: everybody to know that I am really, really just fine.
- 1:24:08Speaker 5: It's just I've been pushed into the direction.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: That he wants me to go, and that's all it is.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: And it's sort of.
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: Amazing how this whole thing is unfolding because they are,
- 1:24:20Speaker 5: you know, the haters out there. They gonna say what
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: they want to say. But Bishop Olma taught me a
- 1:24:24Speaker 5: valuable lesson. He said, for those that love you, no
- 1:24:27Speaker 5: explanation necessary. For those that hate you, no explanation acceptable.
- 1:24:33Speaker 5: So I've learned to stop talking to haters because nothing
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: I can say to them is going to change their mind.
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: They just want to be where they are, but being
- 1:24:42Speaker 5: in a great place because God has something in store
- 1:24:46Speaker 5: for you. Remember this always, y'all. When the door closes
- 1:24:50Speaker 5: the only reason, if you are a personal faith that
- 1:24:54Speaker 5: God allows the door to be closed in your face
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: on you because He got another one he wants you
- 1:24:59Speaker 5: to go through. That's the only reason God didn't bring
- 1:25:03Speaker 5: you this father to leave you. God really does love you.
- 1:25:07Speaker 5: God really has your best interests at heart. And what
- 1:25:10Speaker 5: some men do for evil, God does for good. So
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: somebody can plot against you, but Isaiah fifty four seventeen
- 1:25:20Speaker 5: is pretty clear. No weapon for him against me shall prosper.
- 1:25:24Speaker 5: It never has in the past, it never will in
- 1:25:26Speaker 5: the future. God's promises never comes back void. He does
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: not make a promise, and it's an empty promise. And
- 1:25:35Speaker 5: if you believe that, that's how you live, and that's
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: how I live, and I strongly give that to everybody.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: Don't worry about it, y'all.
- 1:25:41Speaker 5: Keep your head up because God got you, just like
- 1:25:43Speaker 5: he always has. Those are my remarks today.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Drop drop the knowledge and the mic.
