- 0:16Speaker 1: million bus busting us by listening to show up?
- 0:39Speaker 3: Don't Joy?
- 0:46Speaker 2: Yeah, Joy, you want to know love you? I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I have to turn the mouth the turn.
- 1:43Speaker 4: I probably got to turn the mouth turn out to
- 1:47Speaker 4: turn among the money up.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Wouldn't come come out, you think, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 5: You're listening to the voice, come on deg now one
- 2:09Speaker 5: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I was
- 2:14Speaker 5: had my head down and it was thinking of what
- 2:18Speaker 5: I wanted to say this morning. But it kind of, uh,
- 2:24Speaker 5: it's kind of be something I've lived for a long time,
- 2:28Speaker 5: and you know, for a long time, you know, I
- 2:31Speaker 5: had a lot of faith in people.
- 2:33Speaker 3: You know.
- 2:34Speaker 5: It's it's strange too, because you know, you know, my
- 2:37Speaker 5: mother was a Sunday school teacher, so of course I
- 2:40Speaker 5: grew up around knowing, uh, scriptures and things like that.
- 2:45Speaker 5: Not not a lot of them, but you know, the
- 2:46Speaker 5: ones I retained. But having her as a mother was
- 2:51Speaker 5: was a huge help and understand about faith. But even
- 2:54Speaker 5: with that, as I grew up. I began to put
- 2:58Speaker 5: a lot of faith in people, and you know, I figured, uh,
- 3:03Speaker 5: you know, just like everybody else, you know, man if
- 3:05Speaker 5: I could just meet this person, or if I could
- 3:08Speaker 5: just sit down with that person, or man if I
- 3:10Speaker 5: could just get this person to hear my ideal, or
- 3:14Speaker 5: man if just if this person could hear my track,
- 3:17Speaker 5: or man if I could just get this in the
- 3:19Speaker 5: hands of somebody in the know.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I was, like everybody else, I thought that way.
- 3:25Speaker 5: You know, I actually thought that if I could get
- 3:27Speaker 5: in a certain situation with a certain person, that if
- 3:31Speaker 5: a certain person were to meet me, that you know,
- 3:34Speaker 5: it could change everything for me. Oh man, Oh how
- 3:39Speaker 5: wrong I was? Oh how wrong I was? How long
- 3:43Speaker 5: did I spend feeling that way? And how many of
- 3:46Speaker 5: you out there possibly have felt that way before? You know,
- 3:49Speaker 5: like even in a relationship, this is the person for me,
- 3:53Speaker 5: and you know, you just lay claim to that, you know,
- 3:56Speaker 5: not necessarily being a fact, but you just lay claim
- 3:59Speaker 5: to it. This is the person for me, This is
- 4:01Speaker 5: the person that I want to spend the rest of
- 4:03Speaker 5: my life with. You know, sometimes, you know, we just
- 4:05Speaker 5: lay claim and stuff, and it's not always what's in
- 4:08Speaker 5: our best interest or it's not always a fact, it's
- 4:11Speaker 5: just what we decided we want it. And I was
- 4:14Speaker 5: guilty of that just like anybody else. And I spent
- 4:17Speaker 5: a lot of years in my life putting faith in people. Man,
- 4:21Speaker 5: if I could tell you anything this morning, it's to
- 4:24Speaker 5: stop putting your faith in people and put your faith
- 4:27Speaker 5: in God where it counts the most. I mean, you
- 4:30Speaker 5: can get something out of this one. See, here's a
- 4:33Speaker 5: deal about a relationship with God. It's the same all
- 4:37Speaker 5: the time. He never changes. His word is one hundred
- 4:40Speaker 5: percent absolute. His word doesn't have loopholes in it, none
- 4:45Speaker 5: of that.
- 4:45Speaker 2: It's this is what it is. He's very clear.
- 4:49Speaker 5: Now, you can deviate off your end of a bargain,
- 4:53Speaker 5: but it don't stop what he says from being true.
- 4:57Speaker 5: But if he asked you to do something, if God
- 4:59Speaker 5: asks you to to be a certain way, to do
- 5:01Speaker 5: a little something a certain way, and you don't do
- 5:03Speaker 5: it that way, then you know you could still possibly
- 5:08Speaker 5: get by for a while. But don't you understand that
- 5:11Speaker 5: his end of the deal stays the same, and as
- 5:14Speaker 5: long as you're not doing it the way you're supposed to,
- 5:16Speaker 5: the results are not going to be what you wanted
- 5:19Speaker 5: to be And I did this for years and years
- 5:22Speaker 5: and years, and I counted on people, and you know,
- 5:25Speaker 5: I got myself in a lot of situations. And I
- 5:28Speaker 5: got out on a dire situation that I'd been in
- 5:31Speaker 5: for a number of years. But he had protected me
- 5:33Speaker 5: from years prior to that. I didn't even know what
- 5:36Speaker 5: was going on. And then he made it, made me
- 5:39Speaker 5: aware of the problem. And then, man, Lord have mercy,
- 5:43Speaker 5: I was in a dismal situation. And then at the
- 5:45Speaker 5: end of the year, I was free, free from it all.
- 5:49Speaker 5: But it was a decision that I had made that
- 5:52Speaker 5: led up to that, and in going through that process,
- 5:56Speaker 5: I had to learn something.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Man.
- 5:58Speaker 5: I learned a lot about people. See, if you want
- 6:01Speaker 5: to learn about your friends, if you want to learn
- 6:04Speaker 5: about your people people around you, get yourself in some trouble,
- 6:09Speaker 5: get yourself in a situation. Oh man, you start looking around,
- 6:13Speaker 5: man the feeld. Get real clear when you're in trouble.
- 6:16Speaker 5: The feel clear is out when you're in doubt, when
- 6:20Speaker 5: you don't know what to do, when you need help it,
- 6:22Speaker 5: get real clear on the play and feel then don't it. Oh,
- 6:26Speaker 5: but when things is going right, it's time for a party.
- 6:28Speaker 5: We throwing a celebration. We we gonna we're gonna do
- 6:32Speaker 5: one down here. Oh man, there's plenty of people on
- 6:34Speaker 5: the field. But but but get yourself in a situation.
- 6:38Speaker 5: You find out rather quickly that oh no, oh no,
- 6:42Speaker 5: everybody ain't here. And that's when I started learning. And
- 6:46Speaker 5: I'm telling you, I had to start learning this for
- 6:48Speaker 5: real until I finally got it to stop putting my
- 6:51Speaker 5: faith in people and put all the mind in God
- 6:54Speaker 5: where it counts the most. Now is that to say
- 6:57Speaker 5: that there are people that you can't trust. No, out
- 7:00Speaker 5: what I'm saying. I ain't say you can't trust him,
- 7:03Speaker 5: but you can't dump your faith in them. I got
- 7:06Speaker 5: it all riding on what he say. I got it
- 7:09Speaker 5: all riding on what she say. No, no, uh uh no,
- 7:15Speaker 5: I hear you saying it. But I'm gonna keep my
- 7:19Speaker 5: own this situation because I hear you saying it. But
- 7:22Speaker 5: I'm gonna take this faith of mine and instead of
- 7:25Speaker 5: putting it in people, I'm gonna put it in God
- 7:27Speaker 5: where it counts the most. Because his word is absolute.
- 7:31Speaker 5: What he say he's gonna do, he gonna do what
- 7:33Speaker 5: he says. He's not gonna tolerate, he's not gonna tolerate. Now,
- 7:36Speaker 5: you can make it, you can make it tolerable for yourself,
- 7:39Speaker 5: but he's not gonna tolerate it.
- 7:41Speaker 2: And that's just the end of the line.
- 7:42Speaker 5: And so you know, I'm wondering how many people out
- 7:45Speaker 5: there find themselves in a situation like me. Or maybe
- 7:49Speaker 5: you've gotten yourself in a situation because you put your
- 7:51Speaker 5: faith in some people and now you wound up in
- 7:53Speaker 5: a different type of situation. Now, let me ask you
- 7:56Speaker 5: where the people at the only one that I found
- 8:02Speaker 5: when I was in my deepest trouble, when me and
- 8:05Speaker 5: my wife were in our darkest situation, was God. It
- 8:08Speaker 5: was the only one. It was the only one who
- 8:12Speaker 5: was just right there, right there, all the way through. Now,
- 8:18Speaker 5: let me explain something to you. Because you have this
- 8:22Speaker 5: relationship with God, it does not mean, it does not
- 8:25Speaker 5: mean now that it won't get it won't still be
- 8:29Speaker 5: a situation, you understand. But what He will do is
- 8:33Speaker 5: protect you during that period. He'll cover you during that
- 8:38Speaker 5: period that it is a situation. He will give you
- 8:41Speaker 5: the strength to overcome the situation when it turns into
- 8:45Speaker 5: a situation. Then when He cracks it open for you
- 8:49Speaker 5: and the sun is bright and shining. What he don't
- 8:52Speaker 5: want you to do is when it gets sunny again,
- 8:54Speaker 5: to forget about him. Who was there when it was
- 8:57Speaker 5: dark for you. See, I used to do that, you know.
- 9:01Speaker 5: I was Oh, man, I did it. I'm telling you
- 9:03Speaker 5: right now, I did it. But I'm telling you man,
- 9:06Speaker 5: when I learned a very serious lesson and I watched
- 9:10Speaker 5: some people I thought were friends of mine just sort
- 9:14Speaker 5: of casually removed themselves from the situation, and I said, okay.
- 9:20Speaker 5: Me and Margie looked around. We said, okay, it's just me,
- 9:23Speaker 5: you and God. And when we started conducting ourselves accordingly.
- 9:28Speaker 5: So when it's sunny for us, we remember God. We
- 9:32Speaker 5: stay prayerful, we keep talking to him. We thank him
- 9:35Speaker 5: for the sunshine, we thank him for the dark days
- 9:38Speaker 5: that he allowed us to do, who allowed us to
- 9:40Speaker 5: survive it and turn it into sunny days. And we
- 9:43Speaker 5: talked to him constantly to protect us of our future enemies.
- 9:47Speaker 5: And that's what the deal is. So if I was everybody,
- 9:50Speaker 5: I would stop putting your faith in people and put
- 9:52Speaker 5: your trust in God where it really does count the most.
- 9:55Speaker 1: It really really does here listening to the Steve Harvey
- 9:59Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 10:01Speaker 5: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come to give thanks,
- 10:05Speaker 5: honor and praise to Almighty God.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Why because he did it again.
- 10:08Speaker 5: And that's why he did it like he did it
- 10:10Speaker 5: yesterday or the day before that, and every year before
- 10:13Speaker 5: that and all the centuries before that. He keep rising
- 10:15Speaker 5: that sun up and setting it and without fail. I'm
- 10:19Speaker 5: talking about without fail. It has got to be God.
- 10:23Speaker 5: It is no way man can do anything this consistency,
- 10:27Speaker 5: with this much consistency, it can't happen. It's got to
- 10:30Speaker 5: be God. That son no't ever miss it never misses.
- 10:35Speaker 5: That ain't scientific. That's God, man, all right, Ain't That's
- 10:41Speaker 5: all I.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Got to say this morning?
- 10:42Speaker 5: Steve hard Mortis show shellon Strawberry calin Frail, Mississippi, Monica Jr.
- 10:45Speaker 5: And the legend that is nephew Tommy Junior. You know what, man,
- 10:49Speaker 5: when you weigh your hat back, which like that, it
- 10:52Speaker 5: always means something coming.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Why let me just tell you this right now. I
- 10:58Speaker 1: am an comedian. I am not a I don't know
- 11:00Speaker 1: why I even tried.
- 11:03Speaker 4: Uh my wife head light went out yesterday and she
- 11:06Speaker 4: came home and said, Babe, could you replace his head?
- 11:09Speaker 4: Like if I tell you the number of screws I
- 11:11Speaker 4: had in my hand. Uh just just didn't know where
- 11:15Speaker 4: nothing went. I pulled everything out. I was even had
- 11:18Speaker 4: some nuts from the tie in my hand. What am
- 11:20Speaker 4: I doing?
- 11:21Speaker 1: Did you ever have to try to fix someone you
- 11:23Speaker 1: didn't know what you was doing?
- 11:25Speaker 3: Oh?
- 11:25Speaker 5: Been a while, Junia. Was the last time I fixed something?

- 11:41Speaker 2: Because I fixed it? But it took a long time.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I hope she got lights this morning.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I ain't checking. Probably about ninety four, right there? Ninety four?
- 11:51Speaker 2: You've been rich that long?

- 11:55Speaker 3: What was it?
- 11:56Speaker 2: Do y'all?
- 11:56Speaker 9: Do what?
- 11:57Speaker 2: Junior and Tom? Do you want me to apologize? Well?
- 12:00Speaker 9: What what you?
- 12:01Speaker 2: What are you looking for? Because when the last time
- 12:04Speaker 2: you tried to fix something? Ninety four?
- 12:08Speaker 1: Well, what was it in ninety four you had to fix?
- 12:13Speaker 5: I took electrical uh switch out the wall because I
- 12:18Speaker 5: was smelling smoke and the wall was hot behind it.
- 12:21Speaker 5: So I took the panel off and it was smoking
- 12:24Speaker 5: back there. I was about to have an electrical fire.
- 12:26Speaker 4: That's some last time I did, and nothing ever since then.
- 12:31Speaker 4: I know I'm not tried. He ain't gone through a lot.

- 15:43Speaker 3: pulled over and he's been uh actually he's in another
- 15:48Speaker 3: officer's car. He's uh, he's a little bit inebriated here
- 15:51Speaker 3: and we're trying to see about getting them picked up.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I'm trying my best not to take him in today,
- 15:56Speaker 3: so I'm trying to be a good Samaritan and I'm
- 15:58Speaker 3: trying to get someone to come and pick him up.
- 16:00Speaker 13: Hold on, hold on, hold on, backup, backup.
- 16:03Speaker 3: You got my husband? Uh? What I got here on
- 16:06Speaker 3: the driver's license is Kenny Kenny, and he's with you now.
- 16:10Speaker 11: He's actually an.
- 16:11Speaker 3: Officer Brian's squad car right now. So h he was
- 16:14Speaker 3: actually uh, bobbing and weaving out on the road, and
- 16:17Speaker 3: we pulled him over. He's not creating any problems. The
- 16:20Speaker 3: young lady wasn't creating any problems. So what we're what
- 16:23Speaker 3: we're trying to do is get somebody to come and
- 16:25Speaker 3: pick him up.
- 16:26Speaker 13: You have my husband because my husband is at work,
- 16:28Speaker 13: so he can't be in no officer, Brian, or in
- 16:31Speaker 13: your car?
- 16:31Speaker 3: And backup?
- 16:33Speaker 8: Did you say Timm again? Did you say somebody is
- 16:35Speaker 8: with Kenny?
- 16:36Speaker 12: There is?
- 16:36Speaker 3: There was a young lady in the car. Man, we're
- 16:38Speaker 3: actually letting her go because she's not inebriated from it.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Look like somebody. She's calling somebody to pick her up now, Man, No, I.
- 16:47Speaker 13: Can't believe it. Kenny, I know that dirty song got
- 16:51Speaker 13: no back in my car. That's my car.
- 16:54Speaker 8: And you said that he had tamed this officer. Tell
- 16:57Speaker 8: me this, look at that temmy what she looked like.
- 17:00Speaker 2: It better not be that.
- 17:02Speaker 13: That not be the one.
- 17:02Speaker 3: I think I have no idea. Excuse me, ma'am, I
- 17:07Speaker 3: don't what you're married about.

- 17:28Speaker 3: keep keeping me holding there til I get there. I'm
- 17:30Speaker 3: on my way. I'm on my way right now.
- 17:33Speaker 8: Hey, Bridget, I want you to watch these children.
- 17:35Speaker 3: From until I get back.
- 17:36Speaker 8: I'm going to see if I can give me a

- 17:38Speaker 13: Stop and I'll be back in a minute.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Hello. Yeah, here, I'm here.
- 17:46Speaker 13: There, I'm here. Yeah, I'm here.
- 17:48Speaker 3: I'm here. Okay, man, listen, I can't. I can't stay
- 17:51Speaker 3: here too much longer.

- 17:52Speaker 3: I can say here, maybe another fifteen to twenty minutes.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Somebody come get the car, and but I gotta keep
- 17:57Speaker 3: moving here. I'm just trying to do a favor, nothecause
- 17:59Speaker 3: you're here.

- 21:26Speaker 2: Hyundai, There's Joy in every journey.
- 21:29Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, and entertainment
- 21:32Speaker 10: news a familiar face. Craig Melvin will replace Hodocadby On today.
- 21:38Speaker 10: Oprah Winfrey cleared up some rumors that she was paid
- 21:41Speaker 10: for endorsing Vice president Kamala Harris when she did that interview. Yeah, Joy,
- 21:50Speaker 10: Reid don Lemon have deleted their ex accounts and they've
- 21:54Speaker 10: explained why. And that's all coming up at the top
- 21:57Speaker 10: of the hour. But right now it is time to
- 22:00Speaker 10: ask the CLO. All right, CLO, This is from Zach
- 22:04Speaker 10: and Harlem. Zach writes, I went to the casino with
- 22:06Speaker 10: my friends. It was late and the driver was tipsy
- 22:10Speaker 10: and we were all tired, so we stayed at the casino.
- 22:14Speaker 10: My wife drove three hours to try and catch me
- 22:18Speaker 10: doing something. We've been married for thirteen years. Will this
- 22:22Speaker 10: woman ever trust me?
- 22:24Speaker 3: Hm?
- 22:25Speaker 5: No, never, ever, ever, ever, ever, elb brou The driver
- 22:32Speaker 5: was tipsy.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that's where I got kind of stuck at that story,
- 22:36Speaker 2: right there?
- 22:36Speaker 1: Rown off?
- 22:37Speaker 2: Why the driving? Yeah, bruh, And where y'all going? Who
- 22:41Speaker 2: got in the car with him? Anyway?
- 22:43Speaker 5: The driver tipsy? Brou That don't make no sense. You
- 22:46Speaker 5: got some other problems. You got a judge me, you
- 22:48Speaker 5: have laps, and judge me. That's probably why your wife
- 22:51Speaker 5: came down. Then let's go see what it's stupid ass
- 22:53Speaker 5: and decided to do that. Because if you decide to
- 22:56Speaker 5: get in the car with a drunk ass driver and
- 22:59Speaker 5: all y'all tied and tipsy and you.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Get in a car anyway, yeah, you're right, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 23:04Speaker 10: Yeah, that's why they say that, you know, yeah, all right.
- 23:08Speaker 10: This is from moving on to Sheila and Chicago. Sheila writes,
- 23:11Speaker 10: I messed up and cursed loudly and call my boyfriend
- 23:15Speaker 10: a foul name during sex. He never heard me curse
- 23:18Speaker 10: like that, so I was worried that it was a
- 23:21Speaker 10: turn off. Today he said he.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Loved it and wants me to keep doing it. It's
- 23:25Speaker 1: not my style.
- 23:27Speaker 8: So what do I do?
- 23:29Speaker 6: You know what?
- 23:29Speaker 5: People kill me when they do stuff and then talking
- 23:32Speaker 5: about that ain't really my style. It was the other night,
- 23:38Speaker 5: Oh you funky blanket it blank that blank, blank blake.
- 23:42Speaker 2: He was a strong, old, big old funky.
- 23:45Speaker 5: Blank that blank blank blank you blanking it blank and
- 23:48Speaker 5: it blank blank blank.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Baby, I like that last night. I don't know that.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Ain't even me. O. Boy came over me.

- 24:09Speaker 3: It is you?
- 24:11Speaker 2: Stop lying? See this is what now?
- 24:13Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 24:14Speaker 7: It ain't you?
- 24:15Speaker 5: I cussed and called him a really foul name. And
- 24:19Speaker 5: you know why you did that because he had done
- 24:22Speaker 5: some things that evening that brought out the side of
- 24:28Speaker 5: you that you may not even have known, was that
- 24:31Speaker 5: it was there the whole time. Bring them out, bring
- 24:34Speaker 5: them out, you know, It's just it just came out,

- 24:42Speaker 5: it's the new you.
- 24:44Speaker 1: All in Chicago.
- 24:46Speaker 10: This one's from Baxter and Sunrise clo He says, I
- 24:50Speaker 10: had friends. I had a friends with benefits relationship with
- 24:53Speaker 10: a woman only because she didn't want a relationship. She
- 24:57Speaker 10: told me she met someone, so we have to stop
- 25:00Speaker 10: having sex. Why didn't she give me a shot at
- 25:02Speaker 10: being her?
- 25:03Speaker 7: Man?
- 25:03Speaker 1: Was she just using me for sex?
- 25:06Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 25:06Speaker 5: Dog, you and see you called her of friends with benefits,
- 25:12Speaker 5: she'd have met somebody else, and she said, now we
- 25:15Speaker 5: have to stop having sex.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Why did she give you a chance?
- 25:19Speaker 5: Cause you ain't the one? Dog, you can accept that.
- 25:23Speaker 5: We've all had to accept that before.
- 25:26Speaker 2: You are not the one.
- 25:27Speaker 5: Everybody has accepted that. It's all good, dog, what you
- 25:32Speaker 5: Why didn't she give me a chance?
- 25:35Speaker 2: Bright?
- 25:36Speaker 5: You said she was just a friend with benefits. You
- 25:38Speaker 5: didn't act like you was interested. So was she using
- 25:42Speaker 5: you just for sex? Wasn't it what she was doing
- 25:44Speaker 5: with her? My friends feel is there? Pointed dude? Yes,
- 25:53Speaker 5: they keep trying to tell me that all you want
- 25:56Speaker 5: to do is use me. That's what didn't happen. It's
- 26:02Speaker 5: all good, bro, it's all good. Don't even let that
- 26:06Speaker 5: bother you, man, won't you just make you? What the
- 26:10Speaker 5: Bible says, when a man find that the wife you
- 26:12Speaker 5: find a good day. Why don't you start looking for
- 26:14Speaker 5: yours if that's what you want, you want a committee relationship.
- 26:17Speaker 5: Quit doing all this stuff for no reason at all.
- 26:20Speaker 2: You can do that. You can go find a wife.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Man.
- 26:22Speaker 2: It's a lot of good women out there. It's a

- 26:39Speaker 10: out and he came to stay with me for a
- 26:41Speaker 10: few days.
- 26:42Speaker 1: We've known each other since age four and he's old.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Well sheley, Shirley, Shirley, I'm sorry, start oping.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Stop Okay, it's from Amelia in Vegas.
- 26:51Speaker 10: She said, my sister put her husband out and he
- 26:54Speaker 10: came to stay with me for a few days. We've
- 26:57Speaker 10: known each other since age four, and he's over weight,
- 27:00Speaker 10: so she knows I don't want him. I was helping
- 27:03Speaker 10: him out. Why is she mad and trying to turn
- 27:06Speaker 10: the family against me.
- 27:08Speaker 2: You don't listen to me. Your sister put her husband out,
- 27:11Speaker 2: You don't take him in smiter with you? Yeah, yeah,
- 27:18Speaker 2: you if you your sister put his fat ass out.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Overweight.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Overweight? You know what that means?
- 27:28Speaker 1: Sure, I mean got a few pounds he needs to shed,
- 27:33Speaker 1: or he could shed few.
- 27:35Speaker 5: Your sister put his fat ass out, you his fat
- 27:41Speaker 5: ass in. Now you mad because your sister trying to
- 27:47Speaker 5: turn the family against you. It ain't a hard turn

- 27:54Speaker 11: Now?
- 27:54Speaker 5: You trying to explain She no, I don't want him
- 27:57Speaker 5: because he overweight? Why is he over there though? Why
- 28:01Speaker 5: did this man feel comfortable enough to turn to you?
- 28:07Speaker 5: Why did your sister put him out? Obviously he did
- 28:09Speaker 5: something to your sister. Now you're gonna boy girl that's
- 28:14Speaker 5: aiding in the bedd.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Hello.
- 28:21Speaker 2: She tried to.
- 28:21Speaker 10: Justify a two celo by saying they've known each other
- 28:24Speaker 10: since they were four years old.
- 28:26Speaker 2: So I don't give a damn. You've known your sister.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Your whole life, life exactly from the moment one of
- 28:33Speaker 5: y'all was born. Y'all been together, and it don't don't nothing.
- 28:38Speaker 2: You can't do that. You did wrong for that? I
- 28:44Speaker 2: go stay over your sister house. What, man? Please?
- 28:48Speaker 5: I wish somebody would tell me, yeah, you did that
- 28:51Speaker 5: to me? Man, I'm gonna go over there. And get
- 28:53Speaker 5: with your brother. You're gonna go get my brother. Okay,
- 28:56Speaker 5: when you get over there, you finish. You finna find out, you.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Fo round and find out.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not a good look, Amelia in Vegas.
- 29:11Speaker 2: So she said line. She just out of line. Sister.
- 29:15Speaker 2: You cannot do that.
- 29:18Speaker 5: You got to side with your sister because he did
- 29:21Speaker 5: something to get put out. Women don't just put me
- 29:23Speaker 5: it out. You got to do something to get put out. No,
- 29:28Speaker 5: what if fight ass did over, But he did something,
- 29:33Speaker 5: took his chubby ass down there and said something to
- 29:36Speaker 5: somebody skinny and it got back to us. Know your
- 29:41Speaker 5: fight ass didn't.
- 29:42Speaker 2: We'll have some.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Entertainment news for you're right after this Overweight.
- 29:46Speaker 10: You're listening to the Hard Morning show. Howda Copy is
- 29:54Speaker 10: leaving the Today Show in January and will turn her
- 29:58Speaker 10: seat over to Craig Melvin, who will be the new
- 30:00Speaker 10: co Savannah gut Thrie that starts on January thirteenth. You don't, uh, Melbourne, Yeah,
- 30:08Speaker 10: because it's always there.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Right.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Melbourne has been with.
- 30:11Speaker 10: NBC News for fourteen years and it's currently a news
- 30:15Speaker 10: anchor uh huh on Today and the co hosts of
- 30:18Speaker 10: the show's third hour Hoda announced back in September that
- 30:21Speaker 10: she was leaving today after twenty six years.
- 30:24Speaker 1: But she's not leaving the NBC family. So there you go.
- 30:27Speaker 2: That said something about the two of them.
- 30:29Speaker 1: It just works to it them Hodah, and yeah, it
- 30:34Speaker 1: just works.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Yes, I hope it work out for the brother. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:41Speaker 2: I get that.
- 30:42Speaker 7: But it ain't gonna be the same brother, no matter
- 30:47Speaker 7: if it's a brother not no brother, ain't gonna be same.
- 30:54Speaker 7: All right, Well, everybody ain't black and white, y'all. Everything
- 30:57Speaker 7: ain't Sometimes.
- 30:58Speaker 2: It's it's just to do is black? I just said,
- 31:03Speaker 2: I hope you work out for the do Everything ain't
- 31:06Speaker 2: black and white. You want to be stupid right there?
- 31:10Speaker 5: And no, nobody made it no black issue but the
- 31:14Speaker 5: black dude. Everything ain't black and white. They traded that
- 31:18Speaker 5: woman in for November fifth.
- 31:20Speaker 2: They showed that it is.
- 31:24Speaker 1: That's your nephew. Okay, stop saying that they don't want
- 31:28Speaker 1: to play.
- 31:29Speaker 8: You know what, what is it?
- 31:30Speaker 2: You want me? Then you don't want But when have
- 31:38Speaker 2: you ever.
- 31:39Speaker 5: Heard me say I wanted You just point that out.
- 31:42Speaker 5: Where on the show have I said I want Surely
- 31:47Speaker 5: from the time he.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Been on the show. I'll be mad at. You're right.
- 31:52Speaker 2: You're right.
- 31:52Speaker 5: You're right from the time you got on the show,
- 31:55Speaker 5: when my sister first asked me to give you a job.
- 31:58Speaker 1: So you don't want me, all right, I don't.
- 32:03Speaker 5: No, no, you not listen, hey, listen, listen, listen. I
- 32:07Speaker 5: didn't say I didn't want you. I said, tell me
- 32:10Speaker 5: when I've ever said I wanted you. See, you're not listening.
- 32:15Speaker 2: That's your whole damn problem that's been hobbling your whole life.
- 32:19Speaker 5: You know you don't really like me, do you. I'm
- 32:23Speaker 5: noticing it. I'm just I'm really hey, dog, let me
- 32:30Speaker 5: straight you out on something. I love you, Deally, I
- 32:34Speaker 5: just don't.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Care what is it?
- 32:38Speaker 5: I love you, but I love you man. After dog,
- 32:40Speaker 5: I died with you, I go back to back. I
- 32:42Speaker 5: ain't love nobody hurt you don't. I just don't care
- 32:45Speaker 5: for you. That's that's that's about a fuzzy ass a moment.
- 32:51Speaker 5: You're gonna get out of me you like a campfire
- 32:56Speaker 5: now and start roasting mass because that's how colding by y'all.
- 33:00Speaker 10: Moment on, moving on to rumors that were circulated about
- 33:04Speaker 10: Oprah Winfrey being paid a million dollars to endorse Vice
- 33:08Speaker 10: President Kamala Harris's campaign and appear at the Unite for
- 33:11Speaker 10: America event in Detroit back in September. When The shad
- 33:14Speaker 10: Room posted the story recently about the rumors of Oprah
- 33:18Speaker 10: being paid, Oprah jumped into the.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Comments to respond.
- 33:22Speaker 10: Oprah started by saying she never responds to comments on
- 33:25Speaker 10: social media. Then she wrote, quote, these days, I realized
- 33:28Speaker 10: that if you don't stop a lie, it just gets bigger.
- 33:31Speaker 10: I was not paid a don My time and energy
- 33:34Speaker 10: was my way of my way of support for the campaign.
- 33:38Speaker 10: Oprah continued by saying that her production company, Harpwoll was
- 33:41Speaker 10: paid for the live streaming event in September, and the
- 33:44Speaker 10: people that worked on that production were paid. Oprah said
- 33:47Speaker 10: that she did not take any personal fee. So here's
- 33:50Speaker 10: a question for you, Steve, do you remember the rumor
- 33:53Speaker 10: you even alluded to it earlier that you were paid
- 33:55Speaker 10: ten thousand dollars for endorsing Kamala Harris the vice press
- 33:59Speaker 10: that was.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Doc to Umar who started that room.
- 34:02Speaker 5: And I immediately, as Oprah said, sometime if you don't
- 34:06Speaker 5: I don't comment, but if you don't stop it, the
- 34:08Speaker 5: lie just gets bigger. And I came on and said
- 34:11Speaker 5: please brother, Umar, with all due respect, please stop saying
- 34:17Speaker 5: I took ten thousand dollars because I don't do a
- 34:20Speaker 5: damn thing for ten thousand dollars. Don't mess my brand
- 34:24Speaker 5: up in my price by putting it out public idea
- 34:27Speaker 5: for ten thousand. Now, let me help Oprah out for
- 34:30Speaker 5: a minute. First of all, if a campaign pays a person,
- 34:35Speaker 5: that has to be record of it, because there could
- 34:38Speaker 5: be no abuse of campaign funds, so that would be
- 34:42Speaker 5: record of it. Now, Harpo got paid to produce the special,
- 34:46Speaker 5: but you got to get a TV cause see, you
- 34:48Speaker 5: can't throw nothing on TV without a production house. She
- 34:51Speaker 5: got a production house. They paid Harpo to produce it.
- 34:54Speaker 2: But that's it.
- 34:56Speaker 5: Can I come tell you, y'aw something A million dollars
- 34:59Speaker 5: life changing money for most people. It ain't gonna move
- 35:02Speaker 5: the needle for her, right. She out there on that
- 35:05Speaker 5: next level, y'all, and that million dollars don't move the
- 35:08Speaker 5: needle for her, all right?
- 35:11Speaker 10: And that's NBC correspondent Joy Reid announced yesterday that she
- 35:15Speaker 10: would be saying goodbye to her one point nine million
- 35:18Speaker 10: followers on x and deleting her ex account because of
- 35:21Speaker 10: the platform's present owner Elon Musk. The Guardian, a leading
- 35:24Speaker 10: online news source, has also deleted its X account and
- 35:28Speaker 10: posted this explanation.
- 35:29Speaker 1: They said, we think that.
- 35:30Speaker 10: The benefits of being on X are outweighed by the negatives,
- 35:33Speaker 10: and our resources could be better.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Used to promote our journalism elsewhere.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Yeah that's cool, Shirley, Yeah, Shirley, that's cool. Can I

- 55:56Speaker 1: Thank you nephew.
- 55:57Speaker 10: Subject he started the fire, but he can't stand the heat.
- 56:02Speaker 10: Here Stephen Shirley, I'm a twenty nine year old married
- 56:04Speaker 10: woman with three children. My husband started acting differently around
- 56:09Speaker 10: my birthday, and I saw signs that he might be cheating.
- 56:13Speaker 10: I asked him about the change in his behavior, and
- 56:15Speaker 10: he said he's tired of me nagging him.
- 56:18Speaker 1: I work, take care of our kids, cook and clean,
- 56:22Speaker 1: so I don't have time to nag him.
- 56:24Speaker 10: A few weeks ago, I left work early to take
- 56:27Speaker 10: our seven year old daughter to the doctor. After the appointment,
- 56:31Speaker 10: we got Wendy's and went home. We walked in on
- 56:35Speaker 10: my husband having sex on our couch.
- 56:40Speaker 1: God, God, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah.
- 56:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 56:46Speaker 1: They got Wendy's. They went home.
- 56:49Speaker 10: We walked in on my husband having sex on our couch.
- 56:52Speaker 10: I screamed and threw all the food at them. My
- 56:56Speaker 10: daughter asked why was her daddy on top of Miss Jennifer.
- 56:59Speaker 10: Miss Jennifer is a librarian at her school. I know
- 57:03Speaker 10: both Miss Jennifer and her husband. I snapped a picture
- 57:07Speaker 10: of my husband and Miss Jennifer and took my daughter
- 57:10Speaker 10: outside while my husband and Miss Jennifer got dressed. I
- 57:14Speaker 10: texted the picture to Miss Jennifer's husband. She called me,
- 57:18Speaker 10: and he called.
- 57:19Speaker 5: Me and to stop for one seconds. Okay, I just
- 57:22Speaker 5: want to say, this is a really.
- 57:24Speaker 2: Good lesson when you're into it.
- 57:28Speaker 3: I see it.
- 57:30Speaker 2: All right? Where was I?
- 57:32Speaker 10: I texted a picture to Miss Jennifer's husband. He called
- 57:35Speaker 10: me and said he was on active duty at the moment,
- 57:38Speaker 10: but he'll be back home around Thanksgiving, and to tell
- 57:41Speaker 10: my husband it's on site when he sees him. I
- 57:45Speaker 10: tell my husband that he'd better watches back, and he
- 57:47Speaker 10: said Miss Jennifer's husband is trained for combat and he
- 57:50Speaker 10: might be seriously hurt if that man jumps on him.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Wait this is her response? Oh well, it was my
- 57:58Speaker 1: only response.
- 58:00Speaker 10: Husband begged me to stop telling everybody about what he
- 58:02Speaker 10: did because it's affecting his insurance business. Several of our
- 58:06Speaker 10: friends have chosen a new agent. Oh well, not my problem.
- 58:11Speaker 10: He started the fire, but he can't stand the heat.
- 58:14Speaker 10: Why should I care? Did I take it too far
- 58:16Speaker 10: by damaging his business relationships? Am I wrong for hoping
- 58:20Speaker 10: he gets beaten up? Does he deserve to suffer too?
- 58:24Speaker 3: Well?
- 58:24Speaker 10: Yes, yes he does, and I think he's feeling it
- 58:28Speaker 10: right now because you're not trying to help him. But please,
- 58:32Speaker 10: no feeling guilty or second guessing yourself. Did you forget
- 58:35Speaker 10: the part about you walking in on him and the
- 58:38Speaker 10: school librarian on your couch doing it in your house,
- 58:42Speaker 10: and your seven year old daughter saw them. You owe
- 58:45Speaker 10: him nothing. Don't feel badly about anything. Don't feel badly
- 58:49Speaker 10: for him, because he brought this all on himself. Now
- 58:53Speaker 10: he's scared, he's going to get a beat down from
- 58:55Speaker 10: the woman he slept with his husband. This is all
- 58:58Speaker 10: so crazy and unbelievable. And to even think that he's
- 59:01Speaker 10: asking you to call off the dogs. What's gonna happen
- 59:05Speaker 10: is gonna happen. I mean, it's in motion now, Thanksgiving, watch.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Out, it is what it is.
- 59:11Speaker 10: He has literally made his bed focus your focus, and
- 59:15Speaker 10: you should focus on your daughter now, who I'm sure
- 59:19Speaker 10: is traumatized.
- 59:20Speaker 1: She's only seven and she could use some therapy.
- 59:23Speaker 5: See well, well, well, you know, this is probably one
- 59:28Speaker 5: of the best letters we've had in a long time,
- 59:31Speaker 5: because this took some twisting turns that nobody saw coming.
- 59:36Speaker 2: You know, I don't want to drag the Lord in this,
- 59:40Speaker 2: so let me find.
- 59:41Speaker 5: Another way, he said, Because I was gonna say I
- 59:43Speaker 5: want to thank God for but I'm gonna take God
- 59:46Speaker 5: out of this. I think life for just giving us
- 59:50Speaker 5: some bs every now and then, just just a bucket
- 59:54Speaker 5: of it too, and this is a.
- 59:56Speaker 2: Bucket full of it.
- 59:58Speaker 5: When the subject came up, started to fire, but he
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: can't stand the heat. I was convinced that this letter
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: was about a man that started a relationship with this
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: woman and now she dona put the pressure on him
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: and he can't take it. That's what I thought it was.
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: But oh, was I wrong about that. This letter is
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: way better than that right there. I'm a twenty nine
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: year old married woman.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: I got three kids.
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: My husband started acting differently around my birthday and I
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: saw signs that he might be cheating.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Well, she saw signs that he might be cheap.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: I asked him about the change, and he said, I'm
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: tired of you nagging me. She said, I worked, take
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: care of kids, cook clean, I ain't got time to
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: nag him. A few weeks ago, she left work early,
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: took her older daughter to the doctor, and then after
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: the appointment, we got some windys and we went home.
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: That's where the letter turned into everything. We walked in
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: on my husband having sex on our couch. I screamed
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: and through all the food them. My daughter asked why
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: her daddy was on top of Miss Jennifer. Miss Jennifer
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: is a librarian at her school. I know both Miss
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: Jennifer and her husband. I snapped a picture.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: This what got good? I snapped a picture of my
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: husband and Miss Jennifer took.
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: My daughter outside while they got dressed, and I text
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: a picture.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: To Miss Jennifer her husband.
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: Oh hell no, lord, you know I've never seen most
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: stuff happen in ten lines.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: Of a letter.
- 1:01:35Speaker 11: This.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Let me tell you what. This is so much chaos
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: right now.
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: But I wanted, first of all, I want to applause
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: the sister that wrote the letter to have the wherewithal
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: to snap the picture and send it to Miss Jennifer's girls.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: Girl, let me let me just give you what you.
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: Just a standard ovation snapped a picture and send it
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: to the man that's combat duty when we come back.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: minutes after.
- 1:02:14Speaker 10: The hour Today's strawberry other subject. He started with fire,
- 1:02:17Speaker 10: but he can't stand the hate.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: We'll get back.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Into it right after.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: You're listening, Hardy Morning Show.

- 1:02:54Speaker 10: All right, Come on, Steve, one of your favorite letters.
- 1:02:57Speaker 10: Let's recap it right now. He started the fire, but
- 1:03:00Speaker 10: he can't stand the heat.
- 1:03:02Speaker 15: Twenty nine year old woman married to this man. She
- 1:03:05Speaker 15: had suspicions that he was cheating. They have three children.
- 1:03:11Speaker 15: She confronted him about it. He said, I'm tired of
- 1:03:13Speaker 15: you nagging me. She said she ain't got time to
- 1:03:16Speaker 15: nag because she worked, clean, cook and take kusu school.
- 1:03:21Speaker 15: So one day she takes a daughter to the doctor
- 1:03:23Speaker 15: and after doctor's appointment, they stop at Wendy.
- 1:03:26Speaker 5: They walk in the house. She came home early from
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: worm walked in. Her husband is on the couch having sex.
- 1:03:34Speaker 5: She threw all the food at him, jumped up and
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: it was Miss Jennifer, who is a librarian at the school.
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: The daughter said, Mama, why is daddy on top of
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: Miss Jennifer, She took the daughter outside. They and there
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: got dressed. Before they after before they got dressed, she
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: snaps a picture of him half ass naked Texas the
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: picture because they know each other. Text is the picture
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: to the woman's husband, who was in the military.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Lord, have mercy.
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: The man called her back and said he was on
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: active duty at the moment, but he'll be back home
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: around Thanksgiving. And tell your hust who they are friends,
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: they associate with each other. Tell your husband when I
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: see him, that's his ass.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: Oh sight.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: I told my.
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: Husband she better watch his back, and he said Miss
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: Jennifer's husband is trained for combat and he might seriously
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: hurt be seriously hurt if that man jumps on him.
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: My response was, oh well, oh well, my husband begged
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: me to stop telling everybody about what he did because
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: it's affecting his insurance business. Several of our friends have
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: chosen a new agent. Oh well, what's her response to that?
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: That ain't my damn proper. He started the fire, but
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: he can't stand the heat. Here's the question she has,
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: why should I care? Second question was did I take
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: it too far by damaging his business relationships?
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: And the third one is am I wrong for hoping
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: he get beat up? And the last one is does
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: he deserve to suffer too? Let me ask all these
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: questions for you. Why should I care? I don't know.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Why should you care?
- 1:05:28Speaker 11: Then?
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: Did I take it too far by damaging his business?
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: Am I wrong for hoping he get beat up?
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: He lucky?
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: You ain't whooping this ass, But the fact that you
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: have enough gumption to wait on the military combat trained
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: expert to come home so he can issue a proper
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: ass whooping. Once again, I just have to tap for
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: you because.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: You're doing that. You're doing it the way you do it.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: He told you he might get hurt, and your response was, oh, well,
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: does he deserve to suffer too?
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: See, listen to me. I keep going back.
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: One of the most valuable lessons I learned was from
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: one of the great pastors in Atlanta, Georgia, really really
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: good dude, Bishop Brohna. He said, be careful of people
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: who played the victim after they be careful with people
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: who play from circumstances.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: That they created.
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: None of this happens if you ain't naked on the couch.
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: This man ain't got to whoop you ass. If the
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: girl you was neked with wasn't his wife, none of
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: this would have happened.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: No picture would have.
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: Got out to anybody if your ass wasn't naked in
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: your house. I watch your stupid behind doing at your
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: house early. Why are you in your house?
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: Man?
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: That's the most district Look, man, listen, listen to me.
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: There's rules to this. I'm not judging you cheap. Was
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: it wrong one hundred percent?
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: Was it foul? One hundred pit? Was it good? But
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: rules to this now it wasn't good.
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: I'm telling you right now, he don't ever want to
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: see miss Jennifer again because his life is flipped upside down.
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: His business has suffered, and missus Jennifer her husband canna
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: whoop his ass soon as he gets back to things else.
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: So now you know, dog, I ain't got nothing for you.
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: I can't help the man, but the girl, the woman
- 1:07:31Speaker 5: I can help. Why you would stay with him at
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: this point it's a little bit beyond me, because, like
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: I was starting to say, there's rules to this. You
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: can't do no blatant disrespectful stuff. You in this woman's house,
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: her couch, on her couch, Your children, boy, your children
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: watch TV. You the same thing of your home?
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Bruh?
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: Are you kidding me? Do you know how many dudes
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: I know that did this? Do you know how many
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: men I know who have heard of this and went, man,
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: you cannot do that.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: But I know some dudes who did it. And I
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: just be looking at him, going, bruh, I got you
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: and your wife ain't cool.
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: I got y'all going through something, But you're gonna bring
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: somebody to y'all's home.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: No dog, bruh, that's low down man. So this woman
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: right here, does he deserve to suffer too? Yes, he
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: does because he created the situation. Now he want to
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: play victim. You messing up my business? Stop telling people
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: I'm losing agency? Bro, What did you do? You ain't?
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: He ain't one time saying how the baby doing? Do
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: we have to put it there? The first thing?
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: Ye a, miss Jennifer asked, though, that's the other question.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I a librarian.

- 1:12:59Speaker 1: the top of the hour, a man needs some help, Steve.
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: He wants to know how to keep his side chick
- 1:13:04Speaker 10: from stressing him out. We'll get back into it right
- 1:13:07Speaker 10: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, Steve,
- 1:13:13Speaker 10: this is from Sylvester in Lexington. Sylvester says, I let
- 1:13:18Speaker 10: me say this what what?
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: I don't know how old Sylvester he is fin ask
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: me he ought to know by now what.
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Life experience?
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: Come on, Sylvester, don't come on all right?
- 1:13:32Speaker 10: Yeah out of Lexington, Kentucky. He says, I'm in a
- 1:13:35Speaker 10: long distance relationship, and my side piece knows it. She
- 1:13:39Speaker 10: got too comfortable with pump popping up at my house,
- 1:13:43Speaker 10: so I have stopped her from coming over. I go
- 1:13:45Speaker 10: to her house whenever we're together. She thinks I'm messing
- 1:13:49Speaker 10: with someone else, but she knows when I am not
- 1:13:51Speaker 10: with her, I'm visiting my girlfriend. It's starting to feel
- 1:13:55Speaker 10: like a relationship. She's special to me. So how do
- 1:13:58Speaker 10: I stop the nagging on?
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: The can't stop?
- 1:14:05Speaker 13: What?
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: See you sleeping with her? He got a girlfriend though? Okay,
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: but now you sleeping with a woman and she can't
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: say nothing to you.
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: I'm just well, I heard got a girlfriend though.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: Yeah, he got a girlfriend. But she long distance? Yeah
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: she is. What the side piece is trying to do
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: is replace her. She trying to move her out.
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: She she got a competition going on, and now you
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: peeling back, talking about you can't come over here no more.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: I'm just gonna come over there. Now she's see the difference.
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: Now she nagging. How do I stop her from nagging?
- 1:14:44Speaker 5: Stop seeing her? That didn't work at it. Yeah, you
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: can't bring down a lesson.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: Yeah all right, So, like I said, Sylvester, according to the.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Life experience, come on, Sylvester.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: A last person you knew name Sylvester was that cat
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: on that car too?
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: Of course, all right, we have time for another one, Steve.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: This one is from Katina and Dayton.
- 1:15:16Speaker 10: Katina says, I've been with my boyfriend for two years
- 1:15:18Speaker 10: and we have a newborn son. I started the marriage
- 1:15:21Speaker 10: conversation and I found out that we don't have the
- 1:15:24Speaker 10: same values. He does not believe in having joint bank accounts.
- 1:15:28Speaker 10: If we got married, and he said I'd be responsible
- 1:15:31Speaker 10: for the housework and taking care of the baby. He
- 1:15:33Speaker 10: told me that I can hire somebody to help, but
- 1:15:36Speaker 10: I would have to pay for that. I told him,
- 1:15:39Speaker 10: he sounds crazy. He said, I have a choice, and
- 1:15:41Speaker 10: if I can't get with his conditions, then we don't
- 1:15:44Speaker 10: need to think about getting married. Do you think I
- 1:15:46Speaker 10: could ever convince him to change the way he thinks.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: No.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: See, first of all, listen to me.
- 1:15:53Speaker 5: I guess you already realized, young sister, that you've done
- 1:15:56Speaker 5: this thing a little bit out of order, because now
- 1:15:59Speaker 5: you created a fan. But now he don't want a family,
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: and so now he knows he got the other hand.
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: So he's laying down some preconditions and you either accept
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: this or reject it.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: And now he got you thinking this up to you.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: It's his way on the highway.
- 1:16:19Speaker 5: Yes, but see that that's what happens when you when
- 1:16:22Speaker 5: you when you, when you get it out of order.
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: And I'm not judging you, because the life happens to
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: the best of us, you know, So I'm not judging
- 1:16:29Speaker 5: you for getting it out of order. But this is
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: the problem that happens when it goes out of order,
- 1:16:34Speaker 5: and it's kind of hard to get it adjusted back
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: around ever.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: Get him to change.
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: You're dealing with a man that don't understand manhood, and
- 1:16:45Speaker 5: so how are you going to teach it to him
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: when you're not a man? See what didn't happen to
- 1:16:49Speaker 5: these young cats now is I don't know where they
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: got off the bandwagon at, but they are off the
- 1:16:55Speaker 5: wagon of taking care of a woman when that is
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: your job. See look, man, this woman did something that
- 1:17:01Speaker 5: he does not have the ability to do. She made
- 1:17:04Speaker 5: another helm. Now that is a major item to bring
- 1:17:10Speaker 5: to the table. So now she's made another youth. You
- 1:17:15Speaker 5: don't have enough gumption gall in manhood in you to
- 1:17:18Speaker 5: take care of her and the other youth when that
- 1:17:22Speaker 5: is your obligation. You know, where was you at with
- 1:17:26Speaker 5: all these pre rules, when you was up there doing your.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Thing with right correct? I feel sorry for women who
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: get themselves in this position.
- 1:17:36Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, just an inadequate dude coming in here with that.
- 1:17:40Speaker 5: You got to pay for all that. We ain't gonna
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: have no joint bank accounting man, Why would you go
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: to marry this fool?
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: Anyway?
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Anyway?
- 1:17:49Speaker 10: Yeah, all right, coming up to twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:17:52Speaker 10: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:18:26Speaker 10: for one year. They have two year packages, three year
- 1:18:29Speaker 10: packages or all and rates start at forty nine thousand
- 1:18:34Speaker 10: dollars and they go up to one hundred and fifty
- 1:18:37Speaker 10: nine thousand dollars for four years.
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: Boy, hey, let me tell you something, y'all, slow down,
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: slow down.
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: If you pay one hundred and fifty nine thousand dollars
- 1:18:46Speaker 5: for four years worth of food and accommodation, yeah, all inclusive, perpose,
- 1:18:52Speaker 5: be careful. Four years on a boat for one hundred
- 1:18:56Speaker 5: and fifty nine thousand dollars.
- 1:18:58Speaker 11: So what are you saying?
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: Think about that four years?
- 1:19:00Speaker 5: It's not another Yeah, that's about forty thousand a year.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: That's a lot of money.
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: That's a whole lot of money.
- 1:19:09Speaker 5: But they gonna give you a place to stay, sell you,

- 1:24:40Speaker 5: about a wide range of things because it's all in
- 1:24:43Speaker 5: line with trying to encourage people. Also, it lines up
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: with me sharing what I've learned over the years. I'm
- 1:24:51Speaker 5: older than most people who listen to this show. Now,
- 1:24:56Speaker 5: a lot of people are way older than me to

- 1:25:10Speaker 5: most significant thing.

- 1:25:28Speaker 5: you need to just revamp it, you have got to
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: start paying attention to your relationship with God.
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: I don't care what nobody tell you.
- 1:25:42Speaker 5: The essential ingredient to happiness or success is your relationship
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: with God because it.

- 1:26:01Speaker 5: Times of trouble, because sometimes, y'all, you just don't have
- 1:26:05Speaker 5: the answer. I can't tell you how many times when
- 1:26:09Speaker 5: I was homeless, I was sitting there there and I
- 1:26:12Speaker 5: just put both hands on the stereo wheel and put
- 1:26:14Speaker 5: my head on that staring wheeler and just say, lord,
- 1:26:17Speaker 5: I just don't know.
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: I don't know what to do.
- 1:26:22Speaker 5: And I'm telling you, I was trying to think of everything.
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: But when I finally realized that me doing it myself
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: wasn't working. When I finally realized that all the teachings
- 1:26:37Speaker 5: of my mother, who had been a Sunday school teacher
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: for forty years, when I realized everything she was trying
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: to tell me about faith and prayer, I had stopped
- 1:26:47Speaker 5: doing it.
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: And I was just sitting there trying to figure it out.
- 1:26:53Speaker 5: When I got back to praying and talking to God,
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: it didn't instantly change it. Guess what it did. It
- 1:27:02Speaker 5: instantly changed my mindset. I suddenly realized I wasn't by myself.
- 1:27:09Speaker 5: It suddenly dawned on me that now He is really
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: listening to me. And you know what it did, I
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: just felt better. I just felt better because He gave
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: me a calmness.
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: And a peace.
- 1:27:23Speaker 5: And then he started strengthening me to give me the
- 1:27:26Speaker 5: strength to endure this test I was under. And then
- 1:27:30Speaker 5: he started giving me some resolution in my mind. He
- 1:27:32Speaker 5: started helping me to understand why it was happening, and
- 1:27:38Speaker 5: I was able to cope with it better. And then
- 1:27:40Speaker 5: one day I looked up and it was over. My
- 1:27:45Speaker 5: dream had gotten true. I had got a call to
- 1:27:48Speaker 5: be on showtime at Defalla, and little did I know
- 1:27:51Speaker 5: that that one call right there with skyrocket everything. Now,
- 1:27:55Speaker 5: it didn't mean that hardship was over, No, it didn't.
- 1:27:59Speaker 5: It didn't mean that I was problem free. It didn't
- 1:28:02Speaker 5: mean that I was. I had hit it now and
- 1:28:04Speaker 5: it wasn't nothing else to deal with.
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:28:06Speaker 5: It came with a whole new set of challenge. All
- 1:28:11Speaker 5: right here, we gave you this TV show. Now, guess
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: what I looked up. I didn't have nothing to wear
- 1:28:15Speaker 5: on TV because I was that backed up with poverty.
- 1:28:21Speaker 5: They gave me showtime of Apollom and I didn't have
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: the clothes to.
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: Go on the Apolem. But then you know what God did.
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: He started providing. He gave me a friend name Barbara
- 1:28:34Speaker 5: Bates in Chicago. He gave me a friend name Jabib
- 1:28:40Speaker 5: that owned the store called Silhouettes in Dallas, Texas. He
- 1:28:47Speaker 5: just started giving me friends man that would let me
- 1:28:50Speaker 5: buy clothes on discount and up front, let me open
- 1:28:55Speaker 5: up an account until I started making money on TV
- 1:28:57Speaker 5: and I could pay these people back. All because I
- 1:29:02Speaker 5: had formed a relationship with God, and he took the
- 1:29:05Speaker 5: what I didn't know and provided me with solutions. I
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: didn't even know what I was gonna wear on TV. Man,
- 1:29:12Speaker 5: and he started touching people's hearts and making a weight.
- 1:29:16Speaker 5: When I found when I first got on showtimeed Apollo,
- 1:29:18Speaker 5: I wasn't wearing suits. I was wearing a little vest
- 1:29:22Speaker 5: and shirts and stuff. I said, Man, I got to
- 1:29:24Speaker 5: give me some suits. Barbara Bates started designing all my
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: suits for Showtime at Apollo. That girl, man changed my life.
- 1:29:34Speaker 10: Man.
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: Shout out to Barbara Bates in Chicago, beautiful sister.
- 1:29:40Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: Thank you to habid Man. Thank you to a partner
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: of mine.
- 1:29:46Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:29:47Speaker 5: My first opening gig ever was Frankie Bevey Maids at
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: the Front Row Theater.
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: I ain't had nothing to work. He gave me two
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: hundred dollars.
- 1:29:54Speaker 5: I went to Mayor talking about my outfit to open
- 1:29:57Speaker 5: for Frankie Beverly and Maids at the Front Row Theater. Wow,
- 1:30:01Speaker 5: I look back, man, when I was thinking of all
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: the times I didn't have a way, and I look
- 1:30:07Speaker 5: at how many times God provided away.
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: But that's because I had opened up my heart to
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: have a relationship with him.
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: And I'm inviting you all to do the same thing,
- 1:30:15Speaker 5: because God will welcome you with open arms. God knows
- 1:30:19Speaker 5: he ain't heard from you in a while, and he
- 1:30:21Speaker 5: okay with that God is a forgiving god. Man, don't
- 1:30:25Speaker 5: you let the devil fool you and make you think
- 1:30:27Speaker 5: since you ain't talked to him in a while, he
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: ain't gonna listen to you.
