Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: It may be the most racist thing I've seen from
- 0:03Speaker 1: Democrats since they defended and advocated for slavery is an
- 0:08Speaker 1: entire party. What am I referencing now, I'm referencing Joe
- 0:13Speaker 1: Biden needing a lifeline with Black Americans, and when he
- 0:18Speaker 1: needed that lifeline during the election, he promised people and
- 0:22Speaker 1: a last ditch effort to get African Americans out to
- 0:25Speaker 1: vote for him, that if you vote for me, I'll
- 0:27Speaker 1: give you a black and a woman on the Spreme
- 0:29Speaker 1: Court in the same person, I'll find you a black woman.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Now that means that I am going to discriminate against
- 0:35Speaker 1: all other qualified candidates. Maybe there's an amazing Hispanic judge
- 0:39Speaker 1: who happens to be a woman, doesn't matter, you don't
- 0:42Speaker 1: have a shot. Maybe you're a Asian woman, doesn't matter,
- 0:48Speaker 1: you don't have a shot. I am What Joe Biden
- 0:51Speaker 1: did at the end of his campaign was doing exactly
- 0:55Speaker 1: what a racist white man, old white man would do,
- 0:58Speaker 1: promise the black people a token black woman on the
- 1:01Speaker 1: Supreme Court. Now, if you think that Joe Biden was
- 1:05Speaker 1: doing this for any other reason than to buy black votes,
- 1:10Speaker 1: let me remind you of the real history of Joe Biden.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Joe Biden and the mainstream media is not going to
- 1:16Speaker 1: tell you this story. So I hope every one of
- 1:18Speaker 1: you will grab the information I'm gonna give you tonight.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I hope you'll grab our podcast, and I hope you'll
- 1:24Speaker 1: share it with your family and your friends so that
- 1:26Speaker 1: they can hear the real history of Joe Biden with
- 1:29Speaker 1: black women judges in America. This is something you are
- 1:34Speaker 1: not going to hear from the mainstream media. Joe Biden
- 1:39Speaker 1: hated a black woman judge so much that he philibustered
- 1:42Speaker 1: a black woman judge's nomination for more than two years.
- 1:48Speaker 1: That's right. Where's the media on this story? And why
- 1:50Speaker 1: didn't they bring it up when he was running for president?
- 1:54Speaker 1: President Joe Biden is now pledged to nominate the first
- 1:57Speaker 1: black woman to the Supreme Court, and man, do they
- 1:59Speaker 1: need her to get through quickly? But seems to have
- 2:03Speaker 1: forgotten about the time he philipbustered a black woman judges
- 2:06Speaker 1: nomination and to America's second highest court for two years.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Wasn't that long ago? By the way, in two thousand
- 2:14Speaker 1: and three through two thousand and five, who when Joe
- 2:18Speaker 1: Biden was still a Democratic center from Delaware President George W.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Bush nominated Janice Rogers Brown to the US Circuit Court
- 2:26Speaker 1: of Appeals for the DC District Circuit Court, but due
- 2:30Speaker 1: to her conservative views, Joe Biden and the Democrats philibustered
- 2:35Speaker 1: her nomination, which he helped lead blocking a final vote
- 2:40Speaker 1: on her confirmation. Bush nominated Brown for the District of
- 2:45Speaker 1: Columbia Circuit in two thousand and three after she served
- 2:47Speaker 1: as a justice on the California Supreme Court since nineteen
- 2:50Speaker 1: ninety six. She did not get She did not get
- 2:53Speaker 1: confirmed until June the eighth of two thousand and five.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Newsweek even provided more background out on her conservative legal views,
- 3:01Speaker 1: which they use at the time to trash her. But
- 3:05Speaker 1: the reality was, it's the black woman, and Joe Biden said,
- 3:08Speaker 1: we ain't letting that woman get on the court. You
- 3:12Speaker 1: want to know how authentic of a black woman she was,
- 3:16Speaker 1: to use a Democrat phrase about authenticity of black people.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Brown was born in Alabama to sharecroppers and grew up
- 3:24Speaker 1: in the segregated South. During her college years, Brown was
- 3:27Speaker 1: a single mother with views so left wing that she
- 3:31Speaker 1: later said that they were basically almost extreme. Her views
- 3:40Speaker 1: grew decreasingly more conservatives, excuse me, decisively more conservative over
- 3:45Speaker 1: the years, and she has defended using electric stun guns
- 3:49Speaker 1: on criminals who act in appropriately in courtrooms. I already
- 3:53Speaker 1: like her right now. Brown also wrote opinions that oppose
- 3:56Speaker 1: affirmative action and supported a state law that required young
- 4:00Speaker 1: girls younger than eighteen to notify their parents before getting
- 4:03Speaker 1: an abortion. Again, this is a great female judge who
- 4:07Speaker 1: happens to be African American, which shouldn't matter, but apparently
- 4:10Speaker 1: it still does in twenty twenty two when you're trying
- 4:13Speaker 1: to buy black votes like Joe Biden's doing right now.
- 4:17Speaker 1: So kay to oppose another black judge who's trying to
- 4:19Speaker 1: get on a court in make history when you're a
- 4:21Speaker 1: Democratic senator and you don't need the black vote, but
- 4:25Speaker 1: now you do, Jas Rogers. Brown was reportedly considered as
- 4:29Speaker 1: a possible replacement for for Justice Senator day O'Connor, but
- 4:34Speaker 1: that ultimately went to Samuel Ledo. Beyond Joe Biden, her
- 4:38Speaker 1: nomination to the Circuit Court was also opposed by then
- 4:41Speaker 1: Senator you ready for this, Barack Obama, who said her
- 4:44Speaker 1: political views bar her from being an independent jurist. Really,
- 4:49Speaker 1: it's out of my or for real, come on now. Quote. Unfortunately,
- 4:54Speaker 1: as has been stated repeatedly on this floor, in almost
- 4:58Speaker 1: every legal decision that she has made, in every political
- 5:00Speaker 1: speech she has given, Justice Brown has shown she is
- 5:03Speaker 1: not simply a judge with very strong political views. She
- 5:06Speaker 1: is a political activist who happens to be a judge.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Obama said back in two thousand and five, to disparage
- 5:11Speaker 1: the black woman who disagreed with him politically. Brown retired
- 5:15Speaker 1: from her position on the Circuit Court in twenty seventeen.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Why do I point out the hypocrisy of President Biden
- 5:24Speaker 1: pledging to nominate a black woman the Supreme Court after
- 5:26Speaker 1: working so hard to oppose one for two years, because
- 5:30Speaker 1: it is exactly that it is racist hype, I mean
- 5:35Speaker 1: bigotry at the highest level. How many times did Joe
- 5:39Speaker 1: Biden have a chance to make history by putting this
- 5:41Speaker 1: African American woman on this court? He voted three different times,
- 5:45Speaker 1: and gets how he voted. He voted three times against
- 5:47Speaker 1: confirming her to be a US Circuit judge. This wasn't
- 5:51Speaker 1: even to the Supreme Court, by the way. So race
- 5:53Speaker 1: and gender they only count if you're thought to be
- 5:56Speaker 1: a committed judicial activist, a judicial leftist is what it
- 6:00Speaker 1: really boils down to. So to recap for nearly two years,
- 6:05Speaker 1: semit Democrats, including Joe Biden, philipbuss Or the nomination of
- 6:09Speaker 1: then California Supreme Court Justice Janice Rogers Brown to the
- 6:13Speaker 1: DC Circuit, and she was a black woman, She's likely
- 6:18Speaker 1: would have been the first black female justice. And Democrats
- 6:22Speaker 1: only pretend to care about diversity when it fits their agenda.
- 6:28Speaker 1: It's fun to see, by the way, where people also
- 6:31Speaker 1: like a guy by the name of Joe Biden froth
- 6:33Speaker 1: of the mouth at the mention of Clarence Thomas. Don't
- 6:36Speaker 1: forget that he's also the man that he also tried
- 6:38Speaker 1: to keep Clarence Thomas, a black man, off the Supreme Court.
- 6:41Speaker 1: But now he's like, here's a black woman. I promise
- 6:44Speaker 1: you vote for me and I'll give you a black woman.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Many believe that Genie Rogers Brown would have been the
- 6:50Speaker 1: first black woman on the Supreme Court. What stopped her
- 6:53Speaker 1: Joe Biden multiple times. Now people are also acting like
- 7:01Speaker 1: this is an Africa the first time we've ever had
- 7:03Speaker 1: an African American on the Supreme Court. No, there's an
- 7:07Speaker 1: African America on the Supreme Court, right now. And by
- 7:10Speaker 1: the way, if Joe Biden had if he had had
- 7:12Speaker 1: his way, he wouldn't be there at all. We would
- 7:15Speaker 1: have had Jennie Rogers, Brown, Priscilla Owens, Miguelistrata look him up.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Biden worked his heart out to block all of them.
- 7:24Speaker 1: He has a horrific record on minorities getting on the
- 7:27Speaker 1: Supreme Court. Here we are, this is what's going to happen.
- 7:32Speaker 1: This is it. It's amazing, it's disgusting. But it's also
- 7:37Speaker 1: not surprising that the media is completely looking the other way. Now,
- 7:42Speaker 1: there's one thing the media is having to be honest about.
- 7:46Speaker 1: And this was on Meet the Press on NBC News,
- 7:50Speaker 1: which checked Todd. He said, quote Justice Bryar's retirement is
- 7:56Speaker 1: a lifeline for Biden, who's popular smiliarity among black voters
- 8:02Speaker 1: as a rooting At least he's being honest about what
- 8:06Speaker 1: this about. When he says it's a lifeline, what he
- 8:08Speaker 1: means is Joe Biden's going fishing. He's going fishing for
- 8:13Speaker 1: black voters because he needs them. And the way he's
- 8:15Speaker 1: gonna do it is the same exact way he did
- 8:17Speaker 1: it during the campaign. At the end of the campaign,
- 8:20Speaker 1: he did not have strong support on paper from African Americans,
- 8:25Speaker 1: and so in that debate he said, if you elect me,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I'll give you a black woman on the Supreme Court.
- 8:31Speaker 1: It's called buying votes, and that's exactly what he wanted
- 8:40Speaker 1: to do. He wanted to buy black votes by saying,
- 8:44Speaker 1: here's the carrot, Now you'll vote for me. Now, I
- 8:48Speaker 1: will say this, at least the media seems to be
- 8:51Speaker 1: somewhat admitting just how bad it is right now for
- 8:55Speaker 1: Joe Biden. Meet the press, Chuck Todd had this to
- 9:01Speaker 1: say about how bad it is for Biden. Now, maybe
- 9:04Speaker 1: now he can start to get some more black people
- 9:07Speaker 1: to like him again by giving them a token black
- 9:09Speaker 1: person on the Supreme Court. Just last week we said
- 9:12Speaker 1: President Biden was in desperate need of a reset. His
- 9:15Speaker 1: poll numbers are falling, in particular among African Americans, and
- 9:18Speaker 1: there's real fear that Democrats' midterm hopes will be sunk
- 9:21Speaker 1: by a lack of enthusiasm among the very voters who
- 9:24Speaker 1: put mister Biden in office. And then, just like that,
- 9:27Speaker 1: mister Biden was thrown a lifeline with the news that
- 9:30Speaker 1: Supreme Court Justice Stephen Brier would indeed retire at the
- 9:32Speaker 1: end of this term, President Biden vowed to keep his
- 9:35Speaker 1: promise during the campaign that he would appoint an African
- 9:38Speaker 1: American woman to the first court opening he had. That
- 9:42Speaker 1: could help with declining black support. Supreme Court hearings could
- 9:45Speaker 1: also blunt that enthusiasm problem, serving as a reminder to
- 9:48Speaker 1: Democrats that elections have consequences and they matter, and getting
- 9:52Speaker 1: a Supreme Court nomine confirmed would give mister Biden a
- 9:55Speaker 1: political win after the disappointments in the last few months
- 9:58Speaker 1: of her voting rights and built back better. Of course,
- 10:00Speaker 1: replacing Brier with another liberal won't change the court's current
- 10:03Speaker 1: conservative till, but mister Biden finally has an open field
- 10:06Speaker 1: with a real chance to put some points on the
- 10:09Speaker 1: board and at least temporarily change the narrative of this presidency.
- 10:14Speaker 1: No there it is so ha ha ha. We finally
- 10:17Speaker 1: got a shot. All right, Black people in America, listen up.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Listen up. All you black people that I have opposed
- 10:27Speaker 1: being on courts before, oppose them for two years or
- 10:30Speaker 1: more at some points. Yes, now I'm going to take
- 10:34Speaker 1: care of you. Now, if you vote for me, I
- 10:39Speaker 1: will give you that token. I will give it to you.
- 10:43Speaker 1: You are welcome. This is exactly what they have decided
- 10:50Speaker 1: to do. Is this racist? Yes? Is Joe Biden a
- 10:56Speaker 1: racist based on his own standards? Absolutely? And how is
- 11:00Speaker 1: it the media can say that Joe Biden is doing
- 11:03Speaker 1: something historic when virtually every other African American woman that
- 11:08Speaker 1: happened to be nominated by a Republican he would oppose
- 11:12Speaker 1: for years, including a woman that many believe would be
- 11:15Speaker 1: would have been the first woman to ever sit on
- 11:18Speaker 1: the Supreme Court as an African American. It's because Joe
- 11:23Speaker 1: Biden's racist, and he's still treating African Americans right now
- 11:28Speaker 1: like modern day slaves. All right, they don't like me
- 11:31Speaker 1: right now, find give them something. That's what I feel like.
- 11:33Speaker 1: The conversation has to be behind the scenes, all right,
- 11:37Speaker 1: So I'm losing enthusiasm among black people. Fine, what do
- 11:40Speaker 1: I do? All Right, Well, here's an idea. Go out
- 11:42Speaker 1: there during the last debate and tell him we'll give
- 11:45Speaker 1: you a token black person on the Supreme Court. That'll
- 11:48Speaker 1: get him to shut up and vote for you. Joe.
- 11:51Speaker 1: That's exactly what he did. You heard Chuck Todd there
- 11:54Speaker 1: on NBC News. And I mean they're not even shying
- 11:59Speaker 1: away from Joe Biden needs something to give to black
- 12:02Speaker 1: people because it's not the economy he's given them. Remember,
- 12:08Speaker 1: Donald Trump was the biggest threat to the Democratic Party
- 12:11Speaker 1: in history because you had the lowest unemployment rate among
- 12:13Speaker 1: African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, single moms, and they terrified,
- 12:20Speaker 1: terrified Democrats. Why to terrify, because they wanted to continue
- 12:24Speaker 1: to own African American voters, minority voters, Hispanic voters like
- 12:28Speaker 1: modern day slaves. You give them something every once while
- 12:31Speaker 1: when they're really desperate or down, and then they'll continue
- 12:35Speaker 1: to vote for you to keep that thing coming. You
- 12:38Speaker 1: don't believe me, let me remind you of the woman
- 12:41Speaker 1: who was obsessed with Barack Obama because Obama gave her
- 12:46Speaker 1: a quote Obama phone. Now you may not remember that woman,
- 12:50Speaker 1: but it mattered in that election against Mitt Romney. The
- 12:55Speaker 1: Obama administration decided, if they need to start giving people
- 12:58Speaker 1: cell phones with cell phone plays with cell phone minutes
- 13:01Speaker 1: that every month would automatically magically reappear for free on
- 13:05Speaker 1: their cell phone. They gave it out to millions of Americans,
- 13:09Speaker 1: costing taxpayers insane amounts of money. It didn't matter because
- 13:13Speaker 1: it was bribing people, and a woman stood on the
- 13:17Speaker 1: side of the street holding up a sign for Barack
- 13:19Speaker 1: Obama and people were asking. A reporter asked like, hey,
- 13:23Speaker 1: why why do you support you know, Obama? Why do
- 13:25Speaker 1: you hate Mitt Romney? Because Obama gave me an Obama
- 13:30Speaker 1: phone and if I vote for him, he's gonna give
- 13:32Speaker 1: me more more minutes. I guess on her phone, she said,
- 13:36Speaker 1: Romney sucks bad. It was a moment that many people
- 13:41Speaker 1: just couldn't believe even happened. I understood it, and I
- 13:45Speaker 1: warned people, don't laugh, don't think this is a funny moment.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Understand that this is how easy it is for Democrats
- 13:52Speaker 1: to get minorities to vote for them and to get
- 13:55Speaker 1: poor people to vote for them, because they want them
- 13:57Speaker 1: to stay poor, They want them to stay dependent on them,
- 14:00Speaker 1: so that they know they have a solid base of
- 14:03Speaker 1: voters to vote for them. You better vote for me,
- 14:06Speaker 1: because that other guy over there, Mitt Romney, he'll turn
- 14:09Speaker 1: your cell phone off and then you'll have to be
- 14:10Speaker 1: an adult and pay for it yourself. That's what this
- 14:14Speaker 1: pulls down to. That's what this is. This isn't hard
- 14:21Speaker 1: to understand, This isn't hard to figure out that this
- 14:23Speaker 1: is literally the whole entire thing. There's really no other
- 14:28Speaker 1: way to look at this. But you go back and
- 14:32Speaker 1: you look at the facts of Joe Biden. Joe Biden
- 14:36Speaker 1: has no problem being a racist towards any black woman
- 14:40Speaker 1: who is trying to get on the bench and make
- 14:42Speaker 1: history if they were nominated by a Republican. If he
- 14:47Speaker 1: really cared about African American women, if he really cared
- 14:52Speaker 1: about not just African American women, but about making history,
- 14:55Speaker 1: he would have allowed history to be made years ago,
- 14:58Speaker 1: back in two thousand and three, four or five. He
- 15:01Speaker 1: would have said, you know what, I'm going to put
- 15:03Speaker 1: politics aside because I think it's important to put politics aside.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I want to put politics aside because this is a
- 15:09Speaker 1: historic moment and this is nothing about what the conversation
- 15:12Speaker 1: we're having right now should be looked as Republican or Democrat.
- 15:15Speaker 1: This is history in the making. But this man doesn't
- 15:20Speaker 1: actually care about African Americans, because if he did, he
- 15:25Speaker 1: wouldn't treat them this way. He wouldn't look at them
- 15:28Speaker 1: this way, he wouldn't talk about them this way. Somebody
- 15:33Speaker 1: that was running his campaign, I don't know if it
- 15:35Speaker 1: was Simone Sanders but somebody gave him the idea. Somebody said, look,
- 15:42Speaker 1: you've got a major problem with black people in America.
- 15:45Speaker 1: You gotta throw them out there a carret. You gotta
- 15:47Speaker 1: dangle something in front of them to get them to
- 15:49Speaker 1: want to vote for you. We're worried they're not going
- 15:52Speaker 1: to show up and vote for you. Remember, you were
- 15:53Speaker 1: the vice president for eight years of Barack Obamas. Shouldn't
- 15:56Speaker 1: have been that hard. But they knew he was a racist.
- 15:58Speaker 1: They knew he was a white guy that liked talking
- 16:00Speaker 1: down to people. They knew his record on African Americans.
- 16:04Speaker 1: That's the problem. They knew the record on African Americans.
- 16:11Speaker 1: And so that is exactly why he walked out there
- 16:14Speaker 1: and said, all right, vote for me, black people. I'll
- 16:17Speaker 1: give you a token black woman on the Supreme Court.
- 16:19Speaker 1: That is racist. I would argue that's as racist as
- 16:24Speaker 1: it gets. How is the media not talking about this,
- 16:28Speaker 1: How are they not describing this? How are they going
- 16:31Speaker 1: more in depth on this? I don't know, I really don't,
- 16:37Speaker 1: but it is flat out racist, and I think most
- 16:42Speaker 1: people know that. So when you listen to Chuck Todd
- 16:47Speaker 1: saying it the way that he said it this morning,
- 16:52Speaker 1: you know, there was a terrible week last week, but
- 16:55Speaker 1: now he's got a chance. Morning. Just last week we
- 16:58Speaker 1: said President Biden was in desperate need of a reset.
- 17:00Speaker 1: His poll numbers are falling, in particular among African Americans,
- 17:04Speaker 1: and there's real fear that Democrats mintrum hopes will be
- 17:06Speaker 1: sunk by a lack of enthusiasm among the very voters
- 17:10Speaker 1: who put mister Biden in office. And then just like that,
- 17:13Speaker 1: mister Biden was thrown a lifeline with the news that
- 17:16Speaker 1: Supreme Court Justice Stephen Brier would indeed retire at the
- 17:18Speaker 1: end of this term. Fre that, and Biden vowed to
- 17:20Speaker 1: keep his promise during the campaign that he would appoint
- 17:23Speaker 1: an African American woman to the first court opening he had.
- 17:27Speaker 1: So there it is. You've got a chance to put
- 17:30Speaker 1: real points on the board and change the narrative by
- 17:34Speaker 1: throwing a black woman on the Supreme Court and making
- 17:38Speaker 1: black people in America happy. This is a racist idea,
- 17:45Speaker 1: It is a racist mentality, and the media is talking
- 17:49Speaker 1: about it like it's normal, which is the sickest part
- 17:52Speaker 1: of all. You go back and you look at Joe
- 17:55Speaker 1: Biden during the Clarence Thomas confirmations, and if you play
- 17:59Speaker 1: that audio which I played earlier this last week in
- 18:04Speaker 1: our podcast, So make sure you go back in our
- 18:07Speaker 1: podcast and listen to that. Okay, he talked down to
- 18:13Speaker 1: Clarence Thomas, and if you look at it in today's
- 18:18Speaker 1: perspective of twenty twenty one, there's no doubt he talked
- 18:22Speaker 1: down to him like he was a boy. As one
- 18:25Speaker 1: Democratic strategist described it to me, he talked down to
- 18:30Speaker 1: him like he was a black person beneath him. But
- 18:35Speaker 1: he had another problem. And another problem was there were
- 18:39Speaker 1: people that said at the time that yeah, he wanted
- 18:42Speaker 1: to rough up Clarence Thomas, but he also didn't believe
- 18:45Speaker 1: Anita Hill. So he had a problem with women, especially
- 18:48Speaker 1: African American women from that perspective. I'm gonna play for
- 18:52Speaker 1: you a clip from back in two thousand and nineteen.
- 18:56Speaker 1: All right, this is back in two tho nineteen, or
- 19:01Speaker 1: in Hatch said Joe Biden didn't believe Anita Hill's allegations
- 19:05Speaker 1: during the Clarence Thomas hearing. This was in reference to
- 19:10Speaker 1: a documentary that was debuting on Fox Nation back in
- 19:13Speaker 1: twenty nineteen in September entitled High Tech Lynching. Take a
- 19:19Speaker 1: listen for Democratic presidential front runner and the man who
- 19:23Speaker 1: ran the Anita Hill Clarence Thomas hearing in nineteen ninety
- 19:27Speaker 1: one reportedly did not believe Hill's sexual misconduct allegations against
- 19:32Speaker 1: then the then Supreme Court nominee. That man, of course,
- 19:36Speaker 1: is Joe Biden, and that is one of several revelations
- 19:40Speaker 1: in a new report called High Tech Lynching, exclusively on
- 19:43Speaker 1: Fox Nation later this week. Here's a preview. Biden told
- 19:47Speaker 1: me personally that he didn't believe her. He said, I
- 19:50Speaker 1: don't know why she did this. I don't mean to
- 19:52Speaker 1: milne Joe, but Joe told me he didn't believe her,
- 19:55Speaker 1: and there were some others who told me that too.
- 19:58Speaker 1: They were in love my view at one point, not
- 20:02Speaker 1: in a carnal way or a salacious way, but I
- 20:05Speaker 1: think that they were very much a thing. I don't
- 20:08Speaker 1: know if he did all those things you know, she
- 20:11Speaker 1: said he did, He said he didn't. So it was disputed,
- 20:15Speaker 1: but it was not disputed that she used him for
- 20:18Speaker 1: her purpose. That to me tilted in the favor of
- 20:22Speaker 1: Justice Thomas. I just said, Ted, what do you think happened?
- 20:25Speaker 1: He said, I think those two people were pretty heavy
- 20:29Speaker 1: with each other. I think they had a very close
- 20:32Speaker 1: relationship and went to hell. But he said, I think
- 20:35Speaker 1: part of it might have been that he then married
- 20:38Speaker 1: a white girl. And Clarence was a wreck during this
- 20:41Speaker 1: whole time. I mean just a wreck, physically, emotionally wreck.
- 20:48Speaker 1: And he said to me, Jack, you know what this is.
- 20:52Speaker 1: It's a lynching. And I said to him, Clarence, if
- 20:57Speaker 1: that's the way you feel, grew up there and say,
- 21:02Speaker 1: let's just speak clear here. Clarence Thomas did not go
- 21:05Speaker 1: in that night to get confirmed. He went back to
- 21:09Speaker 1: that hearing to clear his knee. Whether he got confirmed
- 21:11Speaker 1: or not, I think Clarence Thomas didn't care. He was furious,
- 21:15Speaker 1: and he believes that he was the first Supreme Court
- 21:18Speaker 1: justice I've elected by the people, because in spite of
- 21:21Speaker 1: those allegations, Black Americans were still with them. But here's
- 21:24Speaker 1: a thing, he said, buddy, the liberal media, any special
- 21:29Speaker 1: insured groups will stop at nothing to change the minds
- 21:33Speaker 1: of black people about me. I give you fifteen or
- 21:35Speaker 1: twenty years, and I guarantee you the opinion of me
- 21:38Speaker 1: would be unfavorable among that community. I've talked to her
- 21:41Speaker 1: on the phone and she said, no, I have it
- 21:44Speaker 1: all figured out, don't you. I remind you of that history,
- 21:49Speaker 1: and then I fast forward and I want to play
- 21:52Speaker 1: for you. Anita Hill, when she was asked about Joe
- 21:58Speaker 1: Biden on October the twenty fourth, twenty nineteen, in a conversation,
- 22:08Speaker 1: this is what she had to say. Take a listen. Finally,
- 22:11Speaker 1: have you decided who to indorse? And have you forgiven
- 22:14Speaker 1: Joe Biden for what happened in nineteen ninety one? I
- 22:17Speaker 1: have not decided who. I've never endorsed a presidential candidate
- 22:21Speaker 1: for one, so this is not new. And have I
- 22:24Speaker 1: forgiven Joe Biden. I'm ready to move on, but I
- 22:29Speaker 1: am also ready to hold Joe Biden accountable. Accountability means
- 22:34Speaker 1: acknowledging your role in the problem and the harm that's caused,
- 22:40Speaker 1: acknowledging that you have culpability and a part of it,
- 22:46Speaker 1: giving me clear information that you have made a change,
- 22:51Speaker 1: and then you are going to do something to make
- 22:56Speaker 1: us all better off around gender discination. I expect that
- 23:02Speaker 1: not only from Joe Biden, but I expect that from
- 23:04Speaker 1: every candidate, regardless of their gender. On that note, by
- 23:09Speaker 1: the way, I listened to Anita Hill now, and it's amazing.
- 23:12Speaker 1: This woman made a living off of accusing and being
- 23:16Speaker 1: a disgruntled x of Clarence Thomas, accusing him of horrific things,
- 23:21Speaker 1: and it was a modern day lynching. You know. Joe
- 23:26Speaker 1: Biden was asked about Anita Hill criticizing him over the
- 23:32Speaker 1: Clarence Thomas hearings. And this was back in two thousand
- 23:35Speaker 1: and sixteen on Meet the Press. Joe Biden was asked
- 23:41Speaker 1: about Anita Hill when she had come out and started
- 23:43Speaker 1: to be a little bit more vocal as a right
- 23:45Speaker 1: to touch a woman. The last time this really impacted
- 23:48Speaker 1: our politics was Clarence Thomas and Anita. Yeah. Anita Hill
- 23:53Speaker 1: did an interview earlier this year. She expressed a little
- 23:55Speaker 1: disappointment in you. Yeah, she did, and what was your
- 23:59Speaker 1: reaction to that? Reaction was, I thought it was unfair.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I voted against Clarence Thomas. I believe her. The question
- 24:06Speaker 1: was whether or not that she should be able to initially,
- 24:11Speaker 1: should she be able to just make her complete without
- 24:13Speaker 1: identifying herself. You can't run a star chamber. You got
- 24:17Speaker 1: to do that. It was very, very very tough. Anything
- 24:21Speaker 1: you'd do differently, No, No, As you know, Donald Trumpet,
- 24:26Speaker 1: this is back in again two thousand and sixteen, So
- 24:31Speaker 1: you hit pause for a moment and you connect these
- 24:34Speaker 1: two dots. Maybe it's this is Joe Biden's way of saying,
- 24:40Speaker 1: all right, well, I tried to screw Clarence Thomas, but
- 24:43Speaker 1: I also screwed Anita Hill. So black people on the right,
- 24:47Speaker 1: black people on the left are going to remember all
- 24:49Speaker 1: this crap with the Supreme Court nominee. And I don't
- 24:51Speaker 1: want to have to go through that again since I
- 24:55Speaker 1: was in charge of Clarence Thomas's nomination those hearings, and
- 25:00Speaker 1: so maybe I'll just say the hell with this, and
- 25:02Speaker 1: I'll give you exactly what you want so people will
- 25:04Speaker 1: shut up leave me alone, which is I will do
- 25:06Speaker 1: a racists nomination process. We're only a black woman, we'll
- 25:14Speaker 1: get on the Supreme Court, so that Anita Hill won't
- 25:17Speaker 1: be out there complaining about my nominee. Because if you remind,
- 25:21Speaker 1: I'll rewind back to eleven, twenty six, two thousand and seventeen,
- 25:26Speaker 1: Meet the Press and Nita Hill talking to Jack Toddle.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Listen to this society want you to extrapolate on something
- 25:32Speaker 1: you said recently, you know, last year during I think
- 25:36Speaker 1: it was the twenty fifth anniversary lookbacks, and you had
- 25:40Speaker 1: been critical of Joe Biden, who was a Senate Judiciary
- 25:43Speaker 1: committee at the time. He apologized, but for what you
- 25:49Speaker 1: had to go through, and you seemed and you made
- 25:51Speaker 1: the point that you said, boy, it came across as
- 25:54Speaker 1: and I'm sorry if you were offended, And you went
- 25:56Speaker 1: on to say you didn't believe he has take still
- 25:58Speaker 1: take an ownership yet of what he did wrong? What
- 26:01Speaker 1: is that? What did he not get and what is
- 26:04Speaker 1: he still not getting? Your opinion, Well, first of all,
- 26:07Speaker 1: let me say that many people viewing those hearings thought
- 26:11Speaker 1: they were disastrous. It wasn't just me, many women across
- 26:16Speaker 1: the country and many men, and I've heard from them.
- 26:19Speaker 1: So what we have to understand is that it's not
- 26:21Speaker 1: just about whether I accept an apology from Joe Biden.
- 26:25Speaker 1: What we need to look at is what can we
- 26:27Speaker 1: learn from that hearing. What can we learn about the
- 26:30Speaker 1: need to have a clear and transparent process. What can
- 26:35Speaker 1: we need to learn about the need to have a
- 26:37Speaker 1: thorough investigation. The idea that we should be calling witnesses
- 26:43Speaker 1: to allow them to testify in person, witnesses who have
- 26:46Speaker 1: experienced the same kind of misconduct from the individual who
- 26:50Speaker 1: is being accused, and then we really need to have
- 26:54Speaker 1: some clear standards about what happens when we find that
- 26:58Speaker 1: there is credible evidence that an individual has acted in
- 27:01Speaker 1: this way and engaged in egregious behavior. What are we
- 27:07Speaker 1: doing with that individual? What are the consequences? Well, and
- 27:10Speaker 1: I think that's something we're all coming to grips with
- 27:12Speaker 1: and trying to figure out in all of our sectors
- 27:15Speaker 1: of life, but especially in the world of politics, professor,
- 27:18Speaker 1: So just go back in history and I play all
- 27:20Speaker 1: those clips for you. We had to go back and
- 27:25Speaker 1: do a lot of digging to connect those dots. But
- 27:29Speaker 1: if you want to know why maybe Joe Biden is
- 27:32Speaker 1: doing this, want it's to buy black votes since black
- 27:35Speaker 1: support going in the midterms because Democrats are terrified in
- 27:38Speaker 1: the midterms that they're going to get beat very badly. Okay,
- 27:42Speaker 1: that's obvious. That's number one. But number two, it may
- 27:46Speaker 1: be that he's just trying to avoid a civil war
- 27:49Speaker 1: with the Anita Hills that will come out if he
- 27:51Speaker 1: would have nominated somebody who maybe was more qualified than
- 27:55Speaker 1: the list that he has just put out there. So
- 27:57Speaker 1: put out a list of African American women women say
- 28:00Speaker 1: sorry to the feminist movement, sorry to the Anita Hill
- 28:03Speaker 1: movement and just leave me the hell alone. Could it
- 28:08Speaker 1: be there's a very good chance, all right. Lastly, please
