- 2:05Speaker 4: You are listening to the voice, Come on, dig me
- 2:07Speaker 4: now one and only uh huh. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 4: radio show here you do. Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 4: But like I said the other day, you got something too, though,
- 2:15Speaker 4: don't you. God then done something wonderful for you. You
- 2:19Speaker 4: just got to thank Him for it, you know, in
- 2:22Speaker 4: the midst of all that's going on in my life
- 2:24Speaker 4: and in your life. You know, I always use myself
- 2:27Speaker 4: as an example because well, I mean that way. I
- 2:31Speaker 4: guarantee you one hundred percent I know what I'm talking
- 2:33Speaker 4: about here. Here's the situation, you know, with everything that's
- 2:38Speaker 4: going on in my life and all the things I'm
- 2:40Speaker 4: asking God for.
- 2:43Speaker 2: In the midst of.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Taxing and a very trying situation that's very challenging for
- 2:50Speaker 4: me right now. Man, God just keeps on, keeps on
- 2:55Speaker 4: surprising me. He keeps doing things, And I want you
- 2:59Speaker 4: to look at your life. Or for a second, let's
- 3:03Speaker 4: make two columns here. Let's make a column of all
- 3:08Speaker 4: the things you want from God. You know, just do
- 3:10Speaker 4: that throughout the course of the day. You know, you know,
- 3:13Speaker 4: run down the list of all the things you're asking
- 3:15Speaker 4: God for, all the things you're praying for, the things
- 3:18Speaker 4: you aspire to, what your dreams, your visions, whatever it is.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Just make a column a list of all those things.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Let's make three lists. And then the second list, I
- 3:29Speaker 4: want you to make a list of everything that you've
- 3:35Speaker 4: been asking God for, so I guess that could be
- 3:38Speaker 4: a little bit of the same. But this third list,
- 3:40Speaker 4: I want you to do a check off point. I
- 3:42Speaker 4: want you to do a make a list of everything
- 3:46Speaker 4: that God has given you that you've asked him for.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Just think about it like that for a second. I
- 3:52Speaker 4: may be explaining a little wrong right now, but I'm
- 3:54Speaker 4: gonna pull it together for you.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Make a list of everything you're asking God for. Just
- 4:00Speaker 2: just listed.
- 4:01Speaker 5: You know.
- 4:01Speaker 2: It's okay, It's a dream board. You can call it that.
- 4:03Speaker 4: I got one it's a vision board. You know, everybody's
- 4:06Speaker 4: got something you hope for. Make a list. Now. I
- 4:10Speaker 4: want you to make another list of everything you've asked
- 4:14Speaker 4: God for that he's given you already. See this is
- 4:19Speaker 4: a good list because sometimes and what I've been guilty
- 4:23Speaker 4: of and maybe you two in my request list on
- 4:27Speaker 4: my dream board. I keep focusing so hard sometimes on
- 4:32Speaker 4: the what I'm yet to receive. I keep focusing so
- 4:36Speaker 4: hard on the what I hope he gives me. I
- 4:40Speaker 4: keep focusing so hard on the things that I yet
- 4:43Speaker 4: not fulfilled in my life that sometimes, as he starts
- 4:48Speaker 4: checking off my wish lists, the things I've asked for
- 4:52Speaker 4: in the past that have come to pass that he's
- 4:55Speaker 4: given me, I sometimes, in praying for what I want
- 5:00Speaker 4: forget to thank him for what he's done for me.
- 5:04Speaker 2: And I'm currently in the middle of that situation.
- 5:06Speaker 4: And this morning when I woke up, I really, man,
- 5:09Speaker 4: I just got on my knees this morning and I
- 5:11Speaker 4: quit tripping for a second. I said, Man, hey, God,
- 5:13Speaker 4: you know what I really do need all them things
- 5:17Speaker 4: I'm asking for, and I'm really am believing that You're
- 5:20Speaker 4: gonna give it to me. But in the meantime, though, Man,
- 5:23Speaker 4: have I overlooked some important details here? I had to
- 5:28Speaker 4: really look at what he's done for me. I mean, look, man,
- 5:31Speaker 4: take yourself out of it personally and look. Or you
- 5:34Speaker 4: can leave yourself in it however you want to be.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Some people can't do that, so just leave yourself in it. Then,
- 5:39Speaker 4: But man, I started looking at the eyepart of me,
- 5:42Speaker 4: and I started looking around at what's happening overall. Like, man,
- 5:47Speaker 4: he has kept my family together and in spite of
- 5:50Speaker 4: the attempts to tear it apart. I look at all
- 5:52Speaker 4: of that. I look at how he's blessing my children
- 5:56Speaker 4: with the desires of their heart, which I pray for
- 5:58Speaker 4: my kids. You know, I want my kids to have
- 6:00Speaker 4: a better life than I've had.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I really really do. I don't want them to take
- 6:04Speaker 2: as long as it took me to get it together.
- 6:06Speaker 4: I really really don't. I'm trying to say, hey, man,
- 6:09Speaker 4: if you go to college, this is what you can be.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Don't do like your father did. Don't go three years
- 6:14Speaker 4: drop I'll throw yourself into a spiral. And then got
- 6:16Speaker 4: to start to scratch all over again, you know, And
- 6:19Speaker 4: for the most part so far, you know, they're doing
- 6:23Speaker 4: quite well. Of it.
- 6:24Speaker 2: You know, you know, they they're getting kicked around a
- 6:26Speaker 2: little bit, but that's life.
- 6:28Speaker 4: I started thinking of the blessings that he's helped me
- 6:31Speaker 4: overcome with some of the previous mistakes I've made in
- 6:35Speaker 4: relationships in my life. And then I started looking about
- 6:39Speaker 4: the things he's blessed me with that I've been asking
- 6:42Speaker 4: him for. But since I've moved on from it, I
- 6:45Speaker 4: forgot to keep thinking because I got to always thank
- 6:48Speaker 4: God for a roof over my head because guess what,
- 6:50Speaker 4: when I was asking for the roof and I didn't
- 6:52Speaker 4: really have it, then he gave me one. Now, since
- 6:54Speaker 4: he gave it to me, what, I'm just cool now
- 6:57Speaker 4: I can't ever go back to him and go, hey, man,
- 7:00Speaker 4: really do appreciate this roof over my head because there
- 7:02Speaker 4: was a time when I was living in a car.
- 7:04Speaker 4: But see, so every morning I wake up, I gotta
- 7:07Speaker 4: remember the fact that I have a home now, because
- 7:10Speaker 4: I got to look back and go, Man, that was time, Steve,
- 7:12Speaker 4: when you didn't have no home. But see, we forget
- 7:15Speaker 4: what God has done for us because in our column,
- 7:19Speaker 4: the won't column, the need column, we oftentimes forget for
- 7:25Speaker 4: the columns and the checkmarks that He's already fulfilled.
- 7:28Speaker 2: In our life.
- 7:29Speaker 4: You've got to take inventory every now and then daily
- 7:34Speaker 4: if possible.
- 7:35Speaker 2: But I know we humans, we're not gonna do that.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I don't. But you've got to take inventory of your
- 7:41Speaker 2: life to say, hey, what has God done for me?
- 7:45Speaker 4: You know? And remember something else too. Change is good,
- 7:50Speaker 4: but change is challenging. Accept the challenge that it is. Look,
- 7:55Speaker 4: a lot of you come up to me all the
- 7:57Speaker 4: time and say, Steve Man, thank you, man boy you
- 8:01Speaker 4: in the morning. Man, I really be needing that. Well,
- 8:03Speaker 4: like honest said it a hundred times, but I'm gonna
- 8:05Speaker 4: say it again, y'all, I be needing it too. You know,
- 8:09Speaker 4: you understand, sometimes what God is dealing with me is
- 8:14Speaker 4: for me. But now I'm in a sharing position where
- 8:18Speaker 4: I can open up and if I just if I
- 8:20Speaker 4: just quit being so about me and become a little
- 8:23Speaker 4: bit more transparent, I can maybe some of me that's
- 8:26Speaker 4: happening to me is happening to you, and you can
- 8:29Speaker 4: see some of this in me. That's why I use
- 8:31Speaker 4: myself as an example, because man, I'm catching it too, y'all.
- 8:35Speaker 4: I ain't perfect either. So for those of you that
- 8:38Speaker 4: come up to me and say that I want you
- 8:40Speaker 4: to understand these these talks in the morning.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Man, this is.
- 8:43Speaker 4: Important for me because man, I need these conversations from God.
- 8:49Speaker 4: I need God to continue to strengthen me, to show
- 8:52Speaker 4: me the way, to help me understand what's happening to me.
- 8:57Speaker 4: And see, as we've all those of you who have
- 8:59Speaker 4: made the decision to change, to become a better person,
- 9:02Speaker 4: a better woman, a better boy, better girl, a better man.
- 9:05Speaker 4: For those of you who's made the decision to change,
- 9:07Speaker 4: change is a challenge, and accept the challenge because it's
- 9:10Speaker 4: gonna come. Because right out of that here come to haters.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Here they come people you don't even know, discussing your
- 9:17Speaker 4: life and your change. If God see you really really
- 9:21Speaker 4: mean what you say in spite of what they say
- 9:24Speaker 4: about you, God will raise you above the freight.
- 9:27Speaker 2: He'll keep promoting you. He'll keep blessing you, He'll keep
- 9:31Speaker 2: moving you up. He will use you as a show
- 9:35Speaker 2: off point.
- 9:36Speaker 4: He'll show you off, man, He'll he'll make you look
- 9:40Speaker 4: good the people man, who wish you'd fall all day long.
- 9:43Speaker 2: And so to all your haters, all your haters will
- 9:45Speaker 2: end up just watching you rise. Man. They will watch
- 9:48Speaker 2: you continue to grow That's what God will do for you. Man.
- 9:52Speaker 4: You can fool the world, but you can't fool God.
- 9:54Speaker 4: God know your heart, He know your every thought.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Man, you're listening easy to Steve har Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen. Billy Preston, will it go round in circles?
- 10:12Speaker 4: Will it go around in circles?
- 10:15Speaker 1: Hey?
- 10:17Speaker 2: Willy fly high like a bird up in the sky.
- 10:20Speaker 6: Hey.
- 10:21Speaker 4: I don't know where that came from. This morning, I
- 10:23Speaker 4: just felt like that Billy Preston was cold.
- 10:26Speaker 7: Man.
- 10:27Speaker 4: Oh, I missed some days, man, when you really had
- 10:29Speaker 4: to have talent. I missed them days. Man, let me
- 10:33Speaker 4: just go on and say this. I'm not talking to
- 10:34Speaker 4: anybody in particular, but you have proven why it was
- 10:38Speaker 4: so difficult to get a TV show, why it was
- 10:41Speaker 4: so difficult to be on late nights, so difficult to
- 10:44Speaker 4: be on daytime TV. Because Instagram Live and Facebook Live
- 10:50Speaker 4: has proven the point that everybody don't need to be
- 10:54Speaker 4: on camera. Thank you for proving what I've said for years.
- 10:58Speaker 4: I just wanted to send a shout out to all
- 11:00Speaker 4: those undeserving people who have tried to make stars of
- 11:03Speaker 4: themselves by followers and it has not worked.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Proof is in the putting Hallelujah at the church.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Say man, amen, ay man again, Sharlie Strapberry calling for
- 11:15Speaker 4: real misis Bimonica Junior to come back, kid and nephew
- 11:19Speaker 4: Tommy the Legend or Junior.
- 11:20Speaker 2: What's on your mind?
- 11:21Speaker 5: Day? Man?
- 11:22Speaker 8: Asking what do you be seeing on Instagram that makes
- 11:25Speaker 8: you say all that? What you be seeing?
- 11:28Speaker 9: You know?
- 11:28Speaker 4: I scrolled through that every now and then, you know,
- 11:30Speaker 4: I just watch people. First of all, back your cameras up.

- 12:15Speaker 2: it's hard, Junie, It's just hard. Yeah.
- 12:18Speaker 4: I see too many mistakes. And if you old, this
- 12:20Speaker 4: is not what you do going live on I g
- 12:24Speaker 4: and all that. That's a young person sport. It's not
- 12:26Speaker 4: for old people. You've never been live in your life.
- 12:31Speaker 2: This ain't the time to.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Try what's the problem with it? Why do you have
- 12:37Speaker 1: a problem with that though?
- 12:38Speaker 4: Because of the amateur mistakes that people make. This is
- 12:42Speaker 4: not like you like the camera too closed, like you've
- 12:45Speaker 4: got you lose your filters, make yourself somebody you not
- 12:50Speaker 4: see see.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I thought you didn't like that. I thought you wanted
- 12:53Speaker 1: people to be natural.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Yeah, no I'm not.
- 12:58Speaker 4: I'm not looking for nobody on line, So I don't

- 16:15Speaker 11: car in the parking lot.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Ma'am, I'm not.
- 16:19Speaker 11: Look and I'm in the middle of watching t What.
- 16:22Speaker 7: Can I do for you?

- 16:33Speaker 11: But I believe this conversation is over, and I don't

- 16:41Speaker 2: Look, let me tell you something. You didn't hit my car.
- 16:45Speaker 9: Hold on, hold on?

- 16:55Speaker 11: Line, the only light blue car in the parking lot.

- 17:09Speaker 6: Is your sister when is she coming back? Maybe she
- 17:11Speaker 6: hit my car and didn't tell you she hit my car.
- 17:13Speaker 11: No, she ain't hit your car. She ain't hit your car,
- 17:15Speaker 11: because she would have told me she hits your call. Look,

- 18:07Speaker 2: I have had no scratches already on my car.
- 18:09Speaker 11: Yeah you had them. Oh yeah, you had no idea.

- 24:13Speaker 1: She called to ask me when I could come cut
- 24:16Speaker 1: the grass. But so would it be petty to tell
- 24:19Speaker 1: her to tell her new man to do it?
- 24:22Speaker 2: Hot ass? Petty? Who was you over there in the
- 24:25Speaker 2: birthplace cutting frost?
- 24:26Speaker 4: Well? First, I ain't over there cutting no grass. But
- 24:29Speaker 4: now you got a boyfriend? When am I coming over?
- 24:31Speaker 2: And why don't you ask god? Uh, tricky when he
- 24:35Speaker 2: gonna cut the grass?
- 24:37Speaker 1: Who's tricky?
- 24:39Speaker 2: Her new boyfriend?
- 24:41Speaker 1: Why is his name tricky?
- 24:42Speaker 5: Though?
- 24:42Speaker 2: Why?
- 24:44Speaker 4: Because I had to edit it for radio, I won't
- 24:49Speaker 4: So we just gonna go with tricky Tricky?
- 24:54Speaker 1: Yeah, so he can't keep cutting the grass, just because
- 24:58Speaker 1: she has a new boy. Maybe your boyfriend isn't a gardener,
- 25:01Speaker 1: he doesn't know what to do.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Oh he's a god noy. He and not digging up
- 25:08Speaker 4: the yard. When you're going out there and cut the grass?

- 25:50Speaker 1: be up in her business like that, in their business
- 25:54Speaker 1: like that. He said, he has no one else to
- 25:56Speaker 1: talk to. Should I hear him out and remain neutral

- 26:27Speaker 4: a friend, you know, a dude, your boy, you're homie.
- 26:31Speaker 1: That I know. Women do it, but men do it
- 26:34Speaker 1: like that too. They call their friends to talk about

- 26:47Speaker 1: When you're messed, you can't say that about your friend's wife. Yeah,
- 26:58Speaker 1: that's not gonna work. So he's that's what he told
- 27:01Speaker 1: his daughter. He is no one else to talk to.
- 27:03Speaker 1: He wants to get it out.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Well, bruh, you can't use your daughter.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Yeah, she feels very uncomfortable.
- 27:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it's her mother you're talking about, and she'd be
- 27:15Speaker 4: right a lot of times. You're taking all the bad

- 27:55Speaker 4: I believe in prayer. I can fix anything.

- 36:18Speaker 1: this is.
- 36:19Speaker 6: By man, I don't think I can make nothing saying
- 36:22Speaker 6: that right now, it ain't I can't make nothing.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Wow, this is an uncomfortable conversation. It's not at all.
- 36:30Speaker 2: It's not at all just getting old with nothing. I'm
- 36:33Speaker 2: just sharing with you. Just you just keep living.
- 36:36Speaker 1: You ain't have to get us as you drink your coffee.
- 36:39Speaker 1: You're comfortable with this conversation.
- 36:44Speaker 4: With this whole coy. We was talking about prostrate exams
- 36:47Speaker 4: at all. Family feud the other day.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Well that's for your that's good.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:52Speaker 4: Twenty three year old boy was on the front road
- 36:54Speaker 4: just sitting there with look like he would look at
- 36:56Speaker 4: a d in headlights.
- 36:57Speaker 2: I'm told him nowhere it's coming.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Wow. All right, thank you guys. I think coming up
- 37:07Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after a Nigerian man shows a year
- 37:11Speaker 1: in jail instead of repaying over one million dollars that
- 37:14Speaker 1: was mistakenly put in his account. We'll talk about it
- 37:17Speaker 1: right after you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Life is unpredictable,
- 37:29Speaker 1: but protecting your family doesn't have to be complicated. Globe
- 37:32Speaker 1: Life helps family secure their future with simple affordable life insurance.
- 37:36Speaker 1: There's no medical exam, just a simple application with rates
- 37:41Speaker 1: starting as low as three dollars and forty nine cents
- 37:43Speaker 1: a month. Globe Life insurance is easy to buy. Called
- 37:47Speaker 1: Globe Life Today at one eight hundred two five one
- 37:51Speaker 1: fifty four hundred, or visit globelifradio dot com that's one
- 37:54Speaker 1: eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred or globelifradio
- 37:58Speaker 1: dot com. Video went viral online of a Nigerian man
- 38:02Speaker 1: that chose to serve one year in prison, rather than
- 38:05Speaker 1: repay close to one point one million dollars in bank
- 38:08Speaker 1: funds that were mistakenly transferred to his account following a
- 38:12Speaker 1: twenty twenty five era by First Bank. The man spent
- 38:15Speaker 1: part of the money instead of notifying the bank that
- 38:18Speaker 1: the money was in his account. The Economic and Financial
- 38:21Speaker 1: Crimes Commission the EFCC recovered some of the money, but
- 38:25Speaker 1: the man was ordered to pay back the remaining balance
- 38:28Speaker 1: of close to three hundred thousand dollars. The man said
- 38:31Speaker 1: he does not have the money and chose to go
- 38:32Speaker 1: to prison for a year. He was sentenced back in
- 38:35Speaker 1: January of this year and is still expected to repay
- 38:38Speaker 1: the money. So here's a question. Would you guys have
- 38:41Speaker 1: worked out a payment plan with the bank or would
- 38:44Speaker 1: you have done time in prison? Which one would you
- 38:46Speaker 1: have been? Like this Nigerian?
- 38:47Speaker 4: Well depend on how much he's in my bank account.
- 38:52Speaker 4: I got to be able to keep it now, I
- 38:53Speaker 4: don't want to get out. Yes, yeah, okay, So here's
- 38:56Speaker 4: the real question. Yeah, it's spend a year, okay, Junior,
- 39:01Speaker 4: one year in jail? Five million dollars one year?

- 39:49Speaker 2: time is six?
- 39:51Speaker 1: Let's go all right, how much is it gonna take
- 39:53Speaker 1: for you for a year in jail, mister Harvey, since
- 39:56Speaker 1: you're asking, well, I don't know. Y'all have fIF million?
- 40:00Speaker 1: Fifty million? Oh no, no, you ain't going for fifty million.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Hell no, that's too low a number for you.
- 40:07Speaker 4: Your radio equipment and and everything. Man, they're gonna take that. No, no,
- 40:16Speaker 4: somebody gonna want that equipment in there. I ain't fighting
- 40:18Speaker 4: going my comrades box all down the range.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Four hundred million dollars one year in prison.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm in there, lights out.
- 40:31Speaker 4: I'm in there, man, I'm in there telling jokes, everything,
- 40:33Speaker 4: got talk show in everything, really podcast.

- 40:49Speaker 4: I'm gonna be out because because right now I can't.
- 40:52Speaker 4: I can't think nothing I can do to make four
- 40:54Speaker 4: hundred million yourself.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Well, I guess I go on in here?

- 56:46Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subject number two will never be number one.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I was a single and attractive, thirty four
- 56:54Speaker 1: year old woman losing hope at finding love. I grew
- 56:58Speaker 1: tired of the dating Sitechael, and I decided that I
- 57:01Speaker 1: would not have sex again until I was married. I
- 57:05Speaker 1: prayed and practiced celibacy, and a year later I met
- 57:09Speaker 1: the man of my dreams. He is handsome, educated, gainfully employed,
- 57:14Speaker 1: and he loves the Lord. I fell hard for this man,
- 57:18Speaker 1: and a year after we met, we got married. I
- 57:22Speaker 1: was so excited for my wedding night because it would
- 57:24Speaker 1: be our first time making love. He is blessed with
- 57:28Speaker 1: the proper equipment, but it's his skill set that's lacking.
- 57:33Speaker 1: On our wedding night, I had the absolute worst sexual
- 57:37Speaker 1: experience I've ever had. It was four minutes from start
- 57:41Speaker 1: to finish. Then he passed out and slept like he
- 57:45Speaker 1: has showed out. Since then, he's been overly confident, and
- 57:49Speaker 1: he's not as attentive and loving as when we met.
- 57:53Speaker 1: Six months into the marriage, I ran into an old
- 57:56Speaker 1: friend from college and he had some dental work done
- 57:59Speaker 1: and it made a world of difference in his appearance.
- 58:03Speaker 1: We had lunch and we talked for hours. He said
- 58:06Speaker 1: that when I got married it broke his heart because
- 58:09Speaker 1: he's always had a big crush on me, but didn't
- 58:12Speaker 1: think I'd give him the time of day. Well, I've
- 58:15Speaker 1: given him a lot more than that. I'm falling for
- 58:18Speaker 1: this man because he has given me his whole heart,
- 58:22Speaker 1: and he holds me after sex, kisses my nose, and
- 58:26Speaker 1: looks into my soul when he talks to me. I'm
- 58:29Speaker 1: ready to get a divorce and date my boyfriend for
- 58:32Speaker 1: a while. I want to be happy, and so far
- 58:35Speaker 1: this guy could be my soulmate. Steve says that number
- 58:39Speaker 1: two will never be number one, So I want your
- 58:42Speaker 1: opinion on my situation. What if this time there is
- 58:47Speaker 1: an exception to the rule. Could this be true love? Wow? Well,
- 58:54Speaker 1: by exception to the rule, you mean he's your number two, right,
- 58:57Speaker 1: and you're thinking of making him number one and replacing
- 59:00Speaker 1: your husband with him. Could this be true love? You ask, Well,
- 59:06Speaker 1: I don't know about that. I don't know if love
- 59:08Speaker 1: has anything to do with this. I do think lust
- 59:12Speaker 1: is all over this situation, though, I do. And instead
- 59:15Speaker 1: of and would you say, Steve, oh oh oh, sorry,
- 59:23Speaker 1: I thought it was see.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't say stupid stuff out.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Of nowhere, Okay, okay, And you're right about that. I
- 59:30Speaker 1: should have known better, because I do know you. You
- 59:35Speaker 1: know you talked in the beginning of your letter how
- 59:37Speaker 1: you grew tired, you decided you wouldn't have sex again.
- 59:40Speaker 1: You started losing hope and finding love. And then you
- 59:43Speaker 1: met this great man, the man of your dreams, and
- 59:46Speaker 1: six months into your marriage you've already cheated on him.
- 59:50Speaker 1: Instead of trying to fix your new marriage and fight
- 59:53Speaker 1: for it, you haven't done that at all. I mean,
- 59:55Speaker 1: I think you've checked out, you've moved on just six
- 59:59Speaker 1: months in. But I think you're falling for the grass
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: as always greener trap. And not once did you say
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: you tried to, you know, talk to your husband about
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: what you like, you know, maybe he could do something better.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: And then wait a minute, you did say you prayed,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: you practice celibacy, and your husband loves the Lord, so
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: I would think that you would honor your marriage vows
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: since you're the one that brought the Lord into it.
- 1:00:24Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: This letter doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I want to tell you to leave your number two
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: alone and try to work on your number one right now,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: since it's only been six months into it. But I
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: don't think you're going to listen at this point. I
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: just don't think so Hm, Steve, that short ass doesn't
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: think she's gonna listen.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: I don't know, I got you.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: She wants what she wants.
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: Yeah, and I understand what you said. I think you
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: make valid points in here too. The number two will
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: never be number one. Let me help you out with
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: something you said. Let's start with the letter. Steve says
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: number twos will never be number one. So I want
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: your opinion on my situation. What if this time that's
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: an exception to the rule. Could this be true? Love?
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: I said, men don't make their number twos when they
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: have a number one.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: If a guy has a.
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: Solid his ride or die, and that's what he called
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: in her and then he got a chick on his side.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: And your number two, we don't promote number twos to
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: number one because you ain't.
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Considered ride or die. That's what the situation is.
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: So now this is a different situation because you're married.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: You're supposed to be your husband's number one and your
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: husband is supposed to be your number one. But now
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: you are a woman wanting to promote your number two
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: to the number one position, and that's what you're wanting
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: to do.
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: This is rare.
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: Here, let me walk you through some contradictions in this
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: letter before I give you what I want to say.
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: You didn't have sex to you was married. Thirty four
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: year old woman found this man. He's a man in
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: your dreams. He's handsome, educated, gainfully employed, and he loves
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: the Lord.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: You did not mention how much you love the Lord?
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: She brought up though.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but he loves the Lord. He ain't say nothing
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: about you.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: I fell hard for this man, and a year after
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: we met, we got married. I was so excited for
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: my webnite because it will be our first time making love.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: He's blessed with the proper equipment, but it's his skill
- 1:02:54Speaker 4: set that's lacking. Oh so you took a year off
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: still hand Joe skills. So what are we really talking
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: about here?
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: All right? Hold on, Steve? Yeah, power two. Steve's response
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: is coming up at twenty three minutes after Number two.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Will never be Number one is the subject. We'll be
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:22Speaker 12: Do you ever notice your floor still look dirty even
- 1:03:25Speaker 12: after you mop? Power mop gives you a deeper clean
- 1:03:28Speaker 12: you can see and feel. Unlike stream mops swift for
- 1:03:32Speaker 12: power mop absorbs more dirt and locks it away even
- 1:03:36Speaker 12: and hard to reach places like behind the toilet. The
- 1:03:39Speaker 12: new micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning actions
- 1:03:43Speaker 12: for results that look, smell, and feel clean.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: No more dirty floors. Try the swift for power mop
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: love it or your money back? All right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. Subject number two will never
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: be number one.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: This is an interesting letter about this woman who states
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: that Steve says that the number two will never be
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: number one. So I want opinion on my situation.
- 1:04:09Speaker 9: What is this?
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: What if this time there's an exception to the rule.
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: Could this be true love? I'm gonna get to this
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: part quickly. But first of all, she married this guy,
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: man of her dreams, everything. She's been celibate for a
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: year and a half. She didn't have sex to her
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: wedding night. She was so excited about the sex she
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: fell hard for the man. They made love. He got
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: the right equipment, but his skill set is lacking. Our
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: wedding night, I had the absolute worst sexual experience I
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: ever had.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: It was four minutes from start to finish.
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: So he didn't got you un dressed, took all them
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: buttons off that wedding dress.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Got all them guarters down, and then five hyhs and
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: all that.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: Une snapped all them spranks and got all that stuff
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: unstrapped and got them clips. Wedding dresses have about four
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: five pieces to it. And then right after that it
- 1:05:14Speaker 4: was over in four minutes, and he passed out and
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: slept like he had showed out to him he did. Now,
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: he ain't had sex in a year and a half either,
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: So come on now, it's a lot of It's a lot.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: So the first time, maybe he didn't do right, but
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: I guess it continued that way because since then he's
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: been overly confident.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: He's not as attentive and a loving as he was
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: when you met. So in other words, I'm.
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: Assuming you're saying that he's become arrogant for some reason,
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: that maybe he thinks he all that because you ain't
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: looking upside his head the right way. You know this
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: four minutes. You need to stop something before we get there.
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: Excuse me, excuse me, excuse me? Can I get more
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: at fault today?
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: What we're doing? Can we do eight? Let's spend o' clock.
- 1:06:04Speaker 4: You need a timer on the night standing hit a
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: thing like a chest clock and you need I need
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: eight from you tonight.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Let's work. Let's beat last night. We need twelve, but
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: he ain't been.
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: Giving the teeth. So you ran into an old college
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: for you and had some dinner work done. So that
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: means before in college he had a reggedar mouth. But
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: now he'd have got this dinner work done. And he's
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: made a world of difference. He said, when he got married,
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: it broke his heart. He always had a big crush
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: on me. But he didn't think I'd give him the
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: time of day. Well, hell, he knew he wasn't. He
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: had reggedar mouth.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: He knew, well, he knew it.
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: He knew the girl wasn't gonna give him time to day.
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: You got regular, my raggedy mouth me and no, they
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: ain't got no. You know your teeth is they gonna
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: see your teeth? Hard to hide your teeth when you're talking.
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: Can't laugh with bad teeth, You can't even have a
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: good sense of humor.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: We got reggedar mouth.
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: So there, Well, I've given him a lot more than that.
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: I'm falling for this man because he's given me his
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: whole heart. He holds me after sex, kisses my nose,
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: looks into my soul when he talks to me. I'm
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: ready to get the voice and date my boyfriend, and
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: date my boyfriend. Awhile I want to be happy and
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: so far this guy could be my soulmate. Steve says
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: his number two would never be number one. So I
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: want your opinion on this situation. What if this time
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: this is an exception to the rule. Could this be
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: true love?
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: Here's my answer. It could be you may have married
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: a person that's not your soulmate. It happens all the time.
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: Sometime it take a minute to find your soulmate. Sometime
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: it takes MOLDI one time.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Help me Jesus trying to work through this letter.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Give him a chance, though.
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: I think it maybe, I think she may have realized
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: she made a mistake. I think this, Once you got
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: to live, been with a guy and sleeping with a guy,
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: you discovered some things that might not be changeable. Now
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: you can go to counseling. But you got to be
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: in love with this man. If you're not in love
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: with a person, that ain't gonna work.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: M hm, she said. Tina Turner said, WHOA. Of course,
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: love got to deal with it.
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: She got to do hard for him, Well, fell hard
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: and stayed falling two different things.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: I feil.
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: I fell hard for a whole lot of people in
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: my life. Got my right back up though, me too, Yeah,
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: I fell hard for a whole lot of people.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: Got my right on back up. Let me stop.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Did you marry them though? Did you marry them though?
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: I'm on my third marriage.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I know a whole lot of people. You haven't
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: had a whole lot of marriages.
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: No, I ain't got I ain't married everybody I fail for.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: I fell for three women because they had apartments.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: I was home.
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: If I met a girl at the club. Yeah, when
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: I was homeless, I met a girl at the comedy club.
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: I was in love with it at night.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Hate hard for her.
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: At the first sight, at first. I love you as
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: soon as I heard her. She has some keys jangling? Hey,
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: what is them keys to?
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: She said? In my apartment? Apartment A dope, you got.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: A bathroom room, A kischen girl. I love you so.
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: Yeah, it could be, and you may have married the
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: wrong person, But only you can know that. I don't
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: tell people to stay in marriages. It ain't good counseling
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: ain't gonna save all of them. Sometimes you made a mistake,
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: you got to eat the mistake. So now it is
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: an exception to the rule. He could be it, but
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: you could be wrong about this one too.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: I'm move my third.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Steve. All Right, guys, we got
