- 1:06Speaker 7: You love your.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Turn.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn.
- 1:27Speaker 8: We got to turn the mouth, turn the probably, got
- 1:44Speaker 8: to turn the mouth and turn out, turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 8: the money up.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think that.
- 2:02Speaker 9: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 9: the voice? Come on, dig me now what it only?
- 2:09Speaker 9: Steve Harvey got a radio show?
- 2:13Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:15Speaker 9: I love it when I run up into people and
- 2:17Speaker 9: they say that to me. They say, hey, Steve Harvey
- 2:19Speaker 9: got a radio show. Then they wink at me. I
- 2:21Speaker 9: know they listening. You know, I got a lot off
- 2:23Speaker 9: my chest yesterday. I wanted to clean some things up.
- 2:25Speaker 9: And I appreciate y'all giving me a minute, because sometimes,
- 2:28Speaker 9: you know, you just got to say some things out loud.
- 2:32Speaker 9: Not complaining, but hey, just verbalizing, but realizing that I
- 2:36Speaker 9: got to keep going anyway. And that's my words this
- 2:40Speaker 9: morning to you, that I want you to keep pushing
- 2:45Speaker 9: no matter what happens. I want to share something with
- 2:49Speaker 9: you that's important. That's very, very important. See, you have
- 2:56Speaker 9: to give God something too blessed. If your prayer is
- 3:02Speaker 9: asking for God's blessings, you got to give him something
- 3:06Speaker 9: to work with.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Now, you know, you.
- 3:10Speaker 9: Gotta show the spirit of appreciation or gratitude. You gotta
- 3:16Speaker 9: let him know that you're in it for the long haul.
- 3:20Speaker 9: No matter what happens. Don't turn around. You will never
- 3:26Speaker 9: ever see what the end could be. If you turn
- 3:31Speaker 9: around and go back, you'll never know what the end
- 3:35Speaker 9: could have been had you stuck it out.
- 3:39Speaker 2: You'll never know.
- 3:42Speaker 9: How good it could have gotten had you not just
- 3:45Speaker 9: weathered the storm. That's the thing that gets most people.
- 3:53Speaker 9: They get tough for him, It get hard for him,
- 3:56Speaker 9: and then they let doubts set in. And then those
- 3:59Speaker 9: doubts because facts, and the next thing you know, they
- 4:02Speaker 9: give up. Had you not given up, or had you
- 4:07Speaker 9: given your best, what the results or outcome could have been.
- 4:11Speaker 9: I look back on my life on so many occasions
- 4:15Speaker 9: where in college I wasn't giving my best.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Now flunked out.
- 4:22Speaker 9: Now, it's easy to look at my life now and go, yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 9: but look at you now. But back then, man, it
- 4:29Speaker 9: cost me for so many years that failing to finish
- 4:36Speaker 9: that not giving my all. It cost me a number
- 4:41Speaker 9: of years. I wish I could say that it didn't
- 4:45Speaker 9: mean nothing, that it was just a blip on the
- 4:47Speaker 9: radar skin screen, but.
- 4:48Speaker 2: At the time it was major.
- 4:50Speaker 9: And so you have a lot of decisions in your
- 4:52Speaker 9: life that are happening now. You may be in your twenties,
- 4:56Speaker 9: your late teens, you could be in your early thirties,
- 4:59Speaker 9: and it's happening. But guess what you'll eventually get through
- 5:03Speaker 9: it provided one thing you never give up.
- 5:08Speaker 2: You never turn around and go back.
- 5:11Speaker 9: Had I written myself off because of one failure? See,
- 5:15Speaker 9: and this is where so many people go wrong at too.
- 5:19Speaker 9: You write yourself off after you failed at something, the
- 5:23Speaker 9: one thing you thought you wanted to accomplish, and you
- 5:26Speaker 9: failed at it. Now you write yourself off as a failure.
- 5:29Speaker 9: Now you go settle on into life and just see
- 5:33Speaker 9: what hand you get. Had when I flunked out of college,
- 5:37Speaker 9: had I written myself off as a failure, I wouldn't
- 5:40Speaker 9: be here today. When I lost my carpet cleaner company,
- 5:44Speaker 9: I would have written myself as a failure.
- 5:47Speaker 2: And I wouldn't be here today.
- 5:49Speaker 9: When I didn't become a diamond distributed in Amway or
- 5:53Speaker 9: a direct distributor in Amway, even I would have written
- 5:56Speaker 9: myself as a failure and I wouldn't be here today.
- 6:01Speaker 9: When I bought a distribution kit to become a distributor
- 6:05Speaker 9: of the Bohemian Diet and I didn't make it, I
- 6:10Speaker 9: would have written myself as a failure. When I became
- 6:13Speaker 9: an Al Williams distributor and I didn't make it, I
- 6:16Speaker 9: would have written myself as a failure, and I wouldn't
- 6:18Speaker 9: be here today.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Oh, I got a list for you.
- 6:22Speaker 9: When I got laid off at for a motor company
- 6:25Speaker 9: and I written myself as a failure, I wouldn't have
- 6:28Speaker 9: made it. Do you need some more? Because I have
- 6:34Speaker 9: a story filled with mishaps. I have a story filled
- 6:40Speaker 9: with failures. Couple of things now, the grace of God
- 6:45Speaker 9: and his mercy which is available to us all. See
- 6:49Speaker 9: that's the key, y'all, Because of his mercy, because of
- 6:53Speaker 9: his willingness to forgive and to even understand why we
- 7:00Speaker 9: do the things we do. In all of my shortcomings,
- 7:06Speaker 9: failed marriages I'm talking about, man got it all wrong.
- 7:11Speaker 9: Can't blame nobody else, It's just me. Steve ain't have
- 7:16Speaker 9: it together at that point in life.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I've could have written myself as a failure the first time.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I could have.
- 7:24Speaker 9: I just could have gave up on it after the
- 7:26Speaker 9: second one. And please know that this is an admission.
- 7:30Speaker 9: This ain't bragging. So before you start in with me,
- 7:33Speaker 9: understand what I'm saying. I'm pointing out in my life
- 7:38Speaker 9: a series of missteps and failures. But how I still
- 7:43Speaker 9: get here today. Couple of things. God's grace and mercy
- 7:50Speaker 9: is first. But that's the key, that's for everybody see
- 7:55Speaker 9: if it's God's willingness to forgive you and God that's
- 8:01Speaker 9: understanding of why we do what we do because he said.
- 8:04Speaker 2: We wasn't gonna be perfect. So in all of your imperfections,
- 8:09Speaker 2: your creator told you you would not be perfect. He's
- 8:12Speaker 2: said to you, it's out there. I don't care which
- 8:16Speaker 2: one of the books you read it tells you that.
- 8:21Speaker 2: So guess what With that in mind, he has a
- 8:24Speaker 2: grace that he has. It's like a grace period.
- 8:28Speaker 9: It's like when you don't pay your insurance premium on
- 8:31Speaker 9: the day that is due. The next day, they don't
- 8:33Speaker 9: just cancel your insurance premium. They have a grace period
- 8:39Speaker 9: because they ain't trying to stop this money from coming in.
- 8:42Speaker 2: But when it comes to God, there's no money required.
- 8:45Speaker 2: He just gives you the grace freely. It don't cost
- 8:49Speaker 2: you nothing.
- 8:50Speaker 4: See.
- 8:50Speaker 2: You gotta tap into that, y'all.
- 8:52Speaker 9: You gotta get in touch with that, because that's an
- 8:54Speaker 9: important part to making it understanding that His grace is available.
- 8:58Speaker 2: So when you make a miss, So when you.
- 9:02Speaker 9: Fail at it, he has a loophole in the contract
- 9:06Speaker 9: with him that allows you to make mistakes, that allows
- 9:10Speaker 9: you to get it wrong, that allows you to fail
- 9:12Speaker 9: time and time and time again. But if you never
- 9:16Speaker 9: give up, if you keep getting up, if you keep trying,
- 9:20Speaker 9: if you keep striving, if you keep making the effort
- 9:23Speaker 9: to go forward and not go back, God has a
- 9:27Speaker 9: blessing for you, and He has it in abundance for you.
- 9:31Speaker 2: And God will give it to you at the right time.
- 9:34Speaker 2: But you got to be ready. Oh, I want it
- 9:38Speaker 2: to be successful. But if he had given it to
- 9:41Speaker 2: me back.
- 9:42Speaker 9: Then I wouldn't have handled it correctly because I would
- 9:45Speaker 9: have made some more mistakes along the way.
- 9:49Speaker 2: So you make the mistakes to learn the lessons. Lord,
- 9:53Speaker 2: ain't God been good to me? I ain't gonna lie
- 9:56Speaker 2: to you.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Cool you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 9: Ladies and gentlemen, another day has been gifted to us.
- 10:09Speaker 9: God has done it again somehow, don't we don't we
- 10:15Speaker 9: have no idea. He manages to have that sun come
- 10:20Speaker 9: up every single day and it sets every single day.
- 10:25Speaker 9: That that's not scientific. That that that that's pretty godly
- 10:31Speaker 9: to me. When the wind blows, that's not scientific. When
- 10:36Speaker 9: you see the scenery of nature, cloud formations, waterfalls, fields
- 10:43Speaker 9: of flowers, rolling heels, when you see herds of animals,
- 10:47Speaker 9: massive migration a million, that's god.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Scientific. Man. Y'all, come on, don't let nobody come to
- 10:56Speaker 2: your house and fool you. God is real, man.
- 10:59Speaker 9: Steve har Mardish, Sherlton Strawberry, Colin Frail, Mississippi, Monica, Junior,
- 11:03Speaker 9: and the legend that is nephew Tommy. There is but
- 11:05Speaker 9: one question today, Junior. What's on your mind?
- 11:11Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 11:11Speaker 10: Uncle, let me ask you this uncle, what everything is
- 11:13Speaker 10: going on?
- 11:14Speaker 2: Do you ever find it a.
- 11:15Speaker 11: Time for you to ever defend your character or do
- 11:18Speaker 11: you just let everything just go?
- 11:20Speaker 1: Because I notice you don't even have to say nothing sometimes.
- 11:23Speaker 11: Do you ever feel like it's a time for you
- 11:24Speaker 11: to say something and defend your character.
- 11:26Speaker 9: Or you just I'm human, you know, I'm human, and
- 11:31Speaker 9: I try not to respond. But every now and then
- 11:36Speaker 9: that other part of me, that part that grew up
- 11:39Speaker 9: on one hundred and twelve Street in.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Cleveland, he surfaces every now and then, and he not
- 11:46Speaker 2: with it, you know. He ain't finna take that, you know.
- 11:51Speaker 9: But and then I have to pray about that, man,
- 11:54Speaker 9: because at this stage of the game, that can cost me,
- 11:58Speaker 9: and so I have to be mindful of the position.
- 12:01Speaker 2: So for the majority of time, I let it go.
- 12:04Speaker 9: Now, if I see you somewhere, which is very very rare,
- 12:14Speaker 9: I probably will say something to you. I probably will
- 12:18Speaker 9: say something to you, and I have done that over
- 12:21Speaker 9: the years. Hey man, let me holler at you for
- 12:24Speaker 9: a minute. I sort of text you the comment you made. Man,
- 12:28Speaker 9: I mean, I thought we was cool. Oh man, that
- 12:31Speaker 9: wasn't nothing, man, I was just online fool and round. Okay, cool, cool,
- 12:36Speaker 9: you know. And so But usually for me, Junior, I don't.
- 12:40Speaker 9: I don't really, I just I just try to keep
- 12:42Speaker 9: it moving. Now, I will tell you this, if you
- 12:46Speaker 9: attack my wife and my children's I'm I'm it's gonna
- 12:52Speaker 9: be different.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I don't.
- 12:53Speaker 9: I'm not really I'm not really good at letting that go.
- 12:56Speaker 9: But it's easy for me because you don't know me,
- 12:59Speaker 9: you know what. And like I said the other day,
- 13:01Speaker 9: I don't really take criticism from people. I don't take
- 13:03Speaker 9: advice from I've said that the other day, and that's
- 13:06Speaker 9: been my model for the past like almost two years.
- 13:09Speaker 2: That's been very, very helpful.
- 13:10Speaker 9: But I'm just trying to be bet at it, you know,
- 13:13Speaker 9: because the world we live in today and nothing out
- 13:15Speaker 9: here but hate us and now on the internet just trolling.
- 13:19Speaker 9: And if you send up reading them comments responding, you're
- 13:21Speaker 9: wasting your time.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Man, You know, you waste right down every name.
- 13:27Speaker 12: If you said you can't wait till I see you all,
- 13:30Speaker 12: write down every later, Matt, I don't know.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I just wait, all right.
- 13:38Speaker 13: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we
- 13:40Speaker 13: will hear from the nephew as he runs that brank back.
- 13:43Speaker 13: Right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey everyone,
- 13:53Speaker 13: quick health question. Even though you're still thriving, still loving,
- 13:56Speaker 13: still connecting, did you know your immune system weakens with age.

- 15:45Speaker 4: there getting the sandwich and eating, I'm realizing that you
- 15:49Speaker 4: came out of the bathroom without washing your hands.
- 15:51Speaker 15: And first of all, you need to be calling the
- 15:54Speaker 15: corporate headquarters if you got a complaint or you called

- 22:44Speaker 13: love officer, Steve Harvey in the building.
- 22:48Speaker 1: This is from Joan and Livonia.
- 22:51Speaker 13: Joan writes, my husband is usually at his office all
- 22:54Speaker 13: day on Saturdays. He sells insurance, so I get that
- 22:58Speaker 13: he has to see clients off. Some times he brings
- 23:00Speaker 13: home leftover it's from nice restaurants. Is he really at
- 23:05Speaker 13: his office or is he out there entertaining another woman? Jean,
- 23:12Speaker 13: you know.
- 23:13Speaker 2: If he's bringing home food from a nice restaurant, do
- 23:16Speaker 2: you really think he would bring home food from a
- 23:19Speaker 2: restaurant that he was at with a woman?
- 23:22Speaker 9: Do you really think? No, No, I don't think. I
- 23:28Speaker 9: don't think he's doing that at all. Let me ask
- 23:31Speaker 9: you a question. Are you all living a lifestyle that
- 23:34Speaker 9: looks like he works a lot? The man works a lot.
- 23:37Speaker 9: You say, it's on Saturday?
- 23:39Speaker 2: What?
- 23:39Speaker 9: But you know, I don't know, man, how people live
- 23:45Speaker 9: in these clouds of doubt like that. If you're in
- 23:48Speaker 9: a relationship you don't trust who you with, that's a
- 23:50Speaker 9: hard way to live, you know. So just going down
- 23:55Speaker 9: to the office on Saturday surprising with a picnic basket, God.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Him just go surprising with a picnic. Bass might be
- 24:05Speaker 2: all three of y'all sit.
- 24:06Speaker 10: In the.
- 24:09Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna move on to I don't, I don't.
- 24:12Speaker 9: I don't think that's the case everything. I think some
- 24:14Speaker 9: people let the imagination get the best of them. Sometimes
- 24:18Speaker 9: I wouldn't. Never you've he's shown you no signs of cheating. No,
- 24:23Speaker 9: that ain't even what this letter is about. He ain't
- 24:26Speaker 9: nobody bringing no food home from restaurant. He's in one movie. Hey,
- 24:29Speaker 9: but that's just too crazy. Yeah, so now you can go, Hey,
- 24:36Speaker 9: let me call this restaurant and get this order.
- 24:38Speaker 2: My husband ordered this. He was in that other name. Yeah,
- 24:41Speaker 2: you all had a lovely time. Man, hope you all
- 24:43Speaker 2: can come back. You think he gonna run the risk
- 24:45Speaker 2: of that happened?
- 24:46Speaker 14: All right?
- 24:50Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Joan Okay.
- 24:53Speaker 13: Moving on to Ray and Miami, Ray writes, I'm sleeping
- 24:57Speaker 13: with a much older woman. I took her to dinner
- 24:59Speaker 13: last night, and three different times I got compliments for
- 25:03Speaker 13: spending time with my mom. My lady's feelings were hurt.
- 25:07Speaker 13: I can't lie. She looks older than me. Should we
- 25:10Speaker 13: stop going out in public?
- 25:13Speaker 2: No, man, she's gone just gone tell them you know
- 25:16Speaker 2: it is your mama? What what?
- 25:19Speaker 1: That's not illusion? But it's not.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Three people that thought she was your mama. You ain't
- 25:27Speaker 2: gonna be able to fix that.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Oh what are they saying, Steve?
- 25:34Speaker 2: Oh wow, you know it's really nice to see a
- 25:37Speaker 2: young man spending time with his mother.
- 25:40Speaker 9: Now she hurt, she knows, she all. And you say
- 25:45Speaker 9: it just now in your letter. I'm spending time with
- 25:48Speaker 9: a much older woman.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Yeah, he said, I can't lie.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Who look like your mama? He didn't.
- 25:59Speaker 9: Now let me tell you off the man. Let me
- 26:01Speaker 9: tell you something. I have seen some really fine older women.
- 26:08Speaker 9: But see now I'm sixty eight. Now I'm sixty eight. Now,
- 26:13Speaker 9: if I'm out with a much older woman, they are
- 26:15Speaker 9: no way she's gonna be able to fake that.
- 26:18Speaker 2: It just ain't no. Wait, you at it.
- 26:22Speaker 9: If you're much older than me, I'm sixty eight. That
- 26:25Speaker 9: much older you gotta be eighty.
- 26:28Speaker 2: And now we were all sitting up here and at
- 26:31Speaker 2: Loubi's because that's her favorite restaurant. We past something like
- 26:36Speaker 2: like like you know, because she got a card or
- 26:41Speaker 2: blue plate specially all this, it ain't gonna look right.
- 26:47Speaker 2: All her foods soft.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't it's.
- 26:54Speaker 9: I took her to a steakhouse and she bit into
- 26:56Speaker 9: the steak and her denture stayed in this stuff.
- 27:02Speaker 13: All right, we're moving on uh to Davion in Kansas City.
- 27:07Speaker 13: Davion writes, I was taking a nap at my side
- 27:10Speaker 13: pieces house and my wife called me three times. My
- 27:14Speaker 13: side pieces one year old was playing a game on
- 27:16Speaker 13: my phone and he had declined each time. My wife called.
- 27:20Speaker 13: My wife suspects that I was up to no good,
- 27:22Speaker 13: and she is still furious with me. What do I
- 27:25Speaker 13: tell her to smooth things over?
- 27:29Speaker 1: Just answer your question, ma'am, come on this lie.
- 27:33Speaker 2: First of all, you cannot sleep at your side piece house.
- 27:40Speaker 9: You must be a time time. Secondly, ha, did you
- 27:46Speaker 9: get it boy your phone? You know you wanted him
- 27:50Speaker 9: to be occupied while you was in there with him, mama,
- 27:53Speaker 9: But he got your phone. She called three times. He
- 27:57Speaker 9: didn't decline three times. Now my wife think I'm up
- 28:00Speaker 9: to something cause you are.
- 28:04Speaker 2: What hes but but but see listen once again.
- 28:10Speaker 9: I love Bishop Brona down in Atlanta because what he
- 28:15Speaker 9: taught me I apply all the time. And now she
- 28:20Speaker 9: think I'm up to something because you are dog. Be
- 28:26Speaker 9: careful of people who are the victims of circumstance that
- 28:31Speaker 9: they created themselves.
- 28:33Speaker 2: You over there, you got a side piece. You're at
- 28:35Speaker 2: a house. Sleep, she got a baby?
- 28:38Speaker 9: You sleep? He played on your phone. Your wife called,
- 28:42Speaker 9: He pressed and decline?
- 28:43Speaker 2: Had he pressed?
- 28:45Speaker 1: Answer?
- 28:46Speaker 3: War?
- 28:48Speaker 1: Baby?
- 28:48Speaker 3: Is that his baby?
- 28:49Speaker 2: Because it got it got you? This is out of control,
- 28:56Speaker 2: it really is.
- 28:58Speaker 1: You're distressed about it?
- 29:01Speaker 2: Why are you over there? I'm sorry? It is roots
- 29:06Speaker 2: that augmentic.

- 29:16Speaker 9: fell asleep, yeah, at my side peace house.
- 29:21Speaker 1: And what happened?
- 29:23Speaker 2: And I didn't fall asleep? I went to bed when
- 29:29Speaker 2: I was it was daytime.
- 29:33Speaker 1: As we lay.
- 29:36Speaker 9: As we lay, we forgot about the price we had

- 58:06Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you guys.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Buggle up and hold on time. We got it for you.
- 58:12Speaker 2: Here it is strawberry letter.
- 58:14Speaker 13: Thank you nephew. Subject oh brother, dear Stephen, Shirley. I
- 58:18Speaker 13: have been married to my husband Stan for eight years.
- 58:22Speaker 13: We met in college, fell hard and got married quick.
- 58:25Speaker 13: Everything was fine until his younger brother Sean moved in
- 58:29Speaker 13: with us after his messy divorced. We had an extra
- 58:32Speaker 13: room and we enjoyed having stand around to help with
- 58:36Speaker 13: cooking and cleaning. Yeah, I'm sorry, Sean, yeah, the brother.
- 58:41Speaker 13: We enjoyed having Sewn around to help with cooking and cleaning,
- 58:44Speaker 13: but then things got awkward because me and Sean spent
- 58:48Speaker 13: too much time alone at home. We got really comfortable,
- 58:53Speaker 13: I mean way too comfortable. One night, after I had
- 58:56Speaker 13: too many lemon drop martinis, Shawn and I ended up
- 58:59Speaker 13: hooking up. It started happening regularly whenever we were alone.
- 59:05Speaker 13: I know that's bad, but things got worse. I found
- 59:08Speaker 13: out I was pregnant, and I told Sean that it
- 59:11Speaker 13: was time to tell my husband everything.
- 59:14Speaker 1: He agreed.
- 59:15Speaker 13: That night, I tried to come clean, but I only
- 59:19Speaker 13: got out the part about being pregnant.
- 59:21Speaker 1: I didn't know.
- 59:23Speaker 13: How to tell my husband that it wasn't his baby.
- 59:26Speaker 13: He was thrilled because we had been trying to have
- 59:29Speaker 13: a baby for years, and we eventually gave up trying.
- 59:33Speaker 13: A few days after that, I told my husband that
- 59:36Speaker 13: I was pregnant and I had a miscarriage. I met
- 59:40Speaker 13: my husband at his job and told him. My husband
- 59:43Speaker 13: told Sean when we got home that fool. Sean said
- 59:47Speaker 13: he should have been the first to know. My husband
- 59:49Speaker 13: was standing there looking confused. I started acting lightheaded to
- 59:53Speaker 13: distract my husband, and it worked. Since then, Sewn has
- 59:57Speaker 13: been pushing me to tell my husband the truth.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: But why would we do that when we dodged a bullet?
- 1:00:03Speaker 13: Shawn and I still hook up because I am scared
- 1:00:06Speaker 13: he will do something stupid if I cut him off?
- 1:00:10Speaker 13: Is it best to tell my husband everything? Like Sean suggests?
- 1:00:14Speaker 13: Please advise? What listen? First of all, you need to
- 1:00:20Speaker 13: get Sean out of your house because this is crazy.
- 1:00:24Speaker 13: You had no business you know this, cheating on your
- 1:00:26Speaker 13: husband with his brother. This is really, really foul, and
- 1:00:30Speaker 13: his brother is a loose cannon ready to pop off
- 1:00:33Speaker 13: at any minute. Now since he knows about the baby
- 1:00:36Speaker 13: and all of this, He's going to tell your husband.
- 1:00:38Speaker 13: You do know this, so get ready for your marriage
- 1:00:41Speaker 13: to blow up. But then, do you really care if
- 1:00:44Speaker 13: your marriage blows up? I mean, you were sleeping with
- 1:00:46Speaker 13: your husband's brother, your brother in law, right under your husband's.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: Nose in his house. How low down and dirty are you?
- 1:00:55Speaker 13: And anyone who would do that to their own brother
- 1:00:57Speaker 13: is definitely no good. You've come between two brothers. This
- 1:01:01Speaker 13: is going to break up their family when they find out.
- 1:01:04Speaker 13: I've never been a proponent of lying to your husband
- 1:01:08Speaker 13: about something so serious as carrying another man's baby and
- 1:01:11Speaker 13: letting your husband think that the baby is his. It's
- 1:01:14Speaker 13: hard to live with that kind of lie, but thank
- 1:01:17Speaker 13: god you don't have to.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: Now. You and your brother in law have created a mess.
- 1:01:22Speaker 13: You are still hooking up because you say you're afraid
- 1:01:25Speaker 13: that your brother will tell him about the baby, and
- 1:01:28Speaker 13: you're scared. You're just scared. Should you tell your husband?
- 1:01:31Speaker 13: You ask, I'm going to answer you this way. That
- 1:01:35Speaker 13: depends on how much longer you plan on sleeping with
- 1:01:38Speaker 13: your husband's brother in your house. I mean, so far,
- 1:01:42Speaker 13: you've dodged a bullet, like you say, but one thing
- 1:01:45Speaker 13: is for sure. You do not want him to find
- 1:01:47Speaker 13: out from his brother. Okay, that's what you don't want, Steve.
- 1:01:52Speaker 9: Okay, I'm excited to do this letter because I have
- 1:01:55Speaker 9: so much to say about you. First, first of all,
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: I have one minute, so let me just say that.
- 1:02:00Speaker 9: First of all, I don't care what happens to her
- 1:02:05Speaker 9: in this letter. I don't care. I don't care because
- 1:02:12Speaker 9: you created this whole mess. You could have easily said no,
- 1:02:20Speaker 9: are you kidding me? This is my husband and that's
- 1:02:24Speaker 9: your brother squashed. End of conversation over with. You had
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: total control of this situation right here. You had the
- 1:02:32Speaker 9: power to never even let this start.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: You did, but you didn't. So now what happens to you? Lady?
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: I could care less, But now when I come back,
- 1:02:44Speaker 9: I'm gonna tell you what's gonna happen if you don't
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: tell him, And I'm gonna tell you what's gonna happen
- 1:02:50Speaker 9: if you do tell it.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: The same thing.
- 1:02:53Speaker 13: Yeah, hang on, Steve, We'll have part two of your
- 1:02:55Speaker 13: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:02:58Speaker 13: Today's Strawberry Letters subject the old Brother right after this
- 1:03:03Speaker 13: bus people, this is Kirk Franklin.

- 1:03:07Speaker 1: And you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:10Speaker 13: That my doubt you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:47Speaker 13: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:49Speaker 13: The subject is oh, brother.
- 1:03:52Speaker 9: As I said before I start this letter, I do
- 1:03:55Speaker 9: not care what happens to this woman in this letter.
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: I just don't because you had the power to never
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: allow this.
- 1:04:03Speaker 9: In the beginning, you could have said no, and that
- 1:04:08Speaker 9: would have been the end of it. How dare you
- 1:04:12Speaker 9: disrespect my husband, your brother, and my marriage and my home.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: That would have squashed the whole thing? Am I right, ladies?
- 1:04:21Speaker 14: Oh?
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: Yeah, Am I right? Sure?
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: For sure?
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: Yes?
- 1:04:25Speaker 9: Sor so you know instead of women, why it's always
- 1:04:28Speaker 9: on the woman on this this one on her.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: This one is on her. This was her house, this
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: was her husband, this was her marriage, this was her decision.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: This one is on her. Now let's go with the letter.
- 1:04:41Speaker 9: Been married to your husband eight years, got in college,
- 1:04:43Speaker 9: fell in love, got married real quip. Everything was fine
- 1:04:46Speaker 9: till his little brother Sean moved in after a messy divorce.
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: They always throw stuff in that couldn't make it seem
- 1:04:53Speaker 9: they clouded and I won't give it what divorce? He
- 1:04:55Speaker 9: had a happy one, messy one? What they got to
- 1:04:57Speaker 9: do with it? We had an extra room when enjoyed
- 1:05:00Speaker 9: Sean being around to help with the cooking and cleaning.
- 1:05:04Speaker 9: Wait minute, what it ain't but two of y'all in
- 1:05:06Speaker 9: the house.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: Well, Sean that moved in to help with the cooking
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: and the cleaning, which y'all eating. It's two of y'all.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: When one person cook make enough for two help with
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: the cleaning, it's two of y'all.
- 1:05:21Speaker 9: The only reason it's mess here is called nine three.
- 1:05:25Speaker 9: Sound like none of this pre set up. But then
- 1:05:28Speaker 9: things got awkward because y'all started spending a lot of
- 1:05:31Speaker 9: time together at home, and we got comfortable, I mean
- 1:05:33Speaker 9: way too comfortable. One night after we had too many
- 1:05:36Speaker 9: lemon drop martiniz here we go. Now, always got to
- 1:05:44Speaker 9: blame it on some lifting. Wasn't that you been smoking weed?
- 1:05:48Speaker 9: Wasn't that you'd have been eating edibles. Wasn't that it
- 1:05:51Speaker 9: was just a crack pipe. It was just one time.
- 1:05:54Speaker 9: Wasn't that he had some myth I just wanted to
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: try it always would have been something, And this really
- 1:06:01Speaker 9: ain't got nothing to do with lemon drops and you
- 1:06:02Speaker 9: gonna find that out real quick.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Too many lemon drops.
- 1:06:06Speaker 9: Sean and I ended up hooking up, and it started
- 1:06:09Speaker 9: happening regularly when we weren't alone. Now, so that means
- 1:06:14Speaker 9: you didn't have to have the lemon drop. After this,
- 1:06:17Speaker 9: it was just on and crackings. Why cause y'all was alone. Well,
- 1:06:22Speaker 9: I know that's bad, but it got worse. I found
- 1:06:25Speaker 9: out I was pregnant, and I told Sean that it
- 1:06:27Speaker 9: was time to tell my husband everything.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: He agreed, y'all to it.
- 1:06:32Speaker 9: The stupidest people, y'all to are the dumbest people to
- 1:06:37Speaker 9: ever write in. I told Sean I was pregnant and
- 1:06:40Speaker 9: thought it was time to tell my husband everything.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: He agreed. This is when two fools is talking to
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: each other. But now listen to this right here.
- 1:06:54Speaker 9: That night, I tried to come clean, but I only
- 1:06:57Speaker 9: got out the part about being pregnant.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:07:00Speaker 9: See, First of all, lady, I don't believe that either.
- 1:07:04Speaker 9: You only got to the part about you being pregnant. See,
- 1:07:07Speaker 9: because everybody knows that in order to get pregnant, you
- 1:07:12Speaker 9: had to have sex. So now, how'd you skip over
- 1:07:16Speaker 9: to who you was having sex with part? And just
- 1:07:18Speaker 9: got to the pregnancy park. See all this is wrong
- 1:07:23Speaker 9: right here. You're a bad storyteller and a bad life
- 1:07:28Speaker 9: and only got to the part about being pregnant. I
- 1:07:31Speaker 9: didn't know how to tell my husband that it wasn't
- 1:07:34Speaker 9: his baby. Well, you know how to tell it. He
- 1:07:38Speaker 9: was thrilled because we had been trying to have a
- 1:07:40Speaker 9: baby for years and eventually gave up trying. Because your
- 1:07:44Speaker 9: husband need to go get checked, because your husband sounds
- 1:07:47Speaker 9: like he got a problem where he can't make a baby.
- 1:07:49Speaker 9: Because Sean coming up in here. Sean then already got
- 1:07:53Speaker 9: you pregnant, so your husband probably got some medical problems.
- 1:07:57Speaker 9: And you know it Sean's baby because cause your husband
- 1:08:00Speaker 9: ain't been able to get you pregnant. So now, a
- 1:08:03Speaker 9: few days after I told my husband I was pregnant,
- 1:08:06Speaker 9: I had a miscarriage. I met my husband at his
- 1:08:09Speaker 9: job and told him, you told him that you had
- 1:08:12Speaker 9: a miscarriage.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: On My husband told Sean when we got home, Man,
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: my girl just had a miscarriage. That food.
- 1:08:22Speaker 9: Sean said he should have been the first to know.
- 1:08:26Speaker 9: My husband standing there looking confused by I wish I
- 1:08:31Speaker 9: could have been in that room. I swear to God,
- 1:08:33Speaker 9: because this don't sound like nothing, you know, Sean said,
- 1:08:38Speaker 9: I should have been the first to know your husband.
- 1:08:40Speaker 9: Standing there looking confused, I started acting lightheaded to distract
- 1:08:44Speaker 9: my husband in a work. Since then, Sean has been
- 1:08:47Speaker 9: pushing me to tell my husband the truth because see,
- 1:08:51Speaker 9: Shan wants you. Sean wants you. Now, he just got
- 1:08:55Speaker 9: out of a messy divorce. Why was it messy cause
- 1:08:59Speaker 9: Shaan is ignorant. Sean is an ignorant man. That's why
- 1:09:04Speaker 9: he ended up in the first before. Now, Sean, won't
- 1:09:07Speaker 9: you now? I don't know whether you're deciding to take
- 1:09:09Speaker 9: Sean or not, but you're Finnish hook up with a
- 1:09:12Speaker 9: very ignorant person. Then she said, he pushing to tell
- 1:09:17Speaker 9: my husband the truth.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: But we why would we do that? We dodge the bullet.
- 1:09:21Speaker 9: Sean and I still hook up because I am scared
- 1:09:24Speaker 9: he would do something stupid if I cut him off. Lady,
- 1:09:26Speaker 9: that's not true. You've been hooking up with Sean. First
- 1:09:29Speaker 9: you with Lemon Drop. Then it was good. Now is
- 1:09:31Speaker 9: he might hurt you?
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: The girl? Is it best to tell my husband everything
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: like Sean success, Please advide. Let me tell you something.
- 1:09:38Speaker 9: Somebody gonna get hurting, Somebody gonna get hurt when you
- 1:09:42Speaker 9: go out there and tell your husband. I want you
- 1:09:44Speaker 9: to know, somebody gonna get hurt, and everybody in this
- 1:09:48Speaker 9: letter gonna get hurt. Your husband's gonna be hurt, but
- 1:09:50Speaker 9: hurt people, hurt people. You gonna get hurt, and Sean
- 1:09:54Speaker 9: gonna get hurt. So go on in there, an telling.

- 1:13:14Speaker 11: Cowboys, Bears, oh.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: Cowboys and Lions and Bears. Oh mind, it's time for
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: the Bears to win one. But the Cowboys. Oh, I'm
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: going with the Cowboys, man, Cowboys.

- 1:13:38Speaker 2: they I won't whistle to win, but Chiefs.
- 1:13:41Speaker 18: Chief can't do this then lions Ram Dave will kill
- 1:13:46Speaker 18: lies ravens.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Lions in the ravens.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Oh ravens. Baby, there it.
- 1:13:50Speaker 12: Is, there you go.
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: I got you week threes all right, okay, all.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Right, and you thank you, thank you. Pipping.
- 1:13:55Speaker 13: Coming up at the top of the hour, a man
- 1:13:57Speaker 13: wants to know how to get the excitement back in
- 1:13:59Speaker 13: his marriage. We'll get into that right after this. You're
- 1:14:03Speaker 13: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, this
- 1:14:10Speaker 13: is from Shelton in Myrtle Beach. Steve Shelton says, I'm
- 1:14:14Speaker 13: in an emotionless marriage now. My wife and I used
- 1:14:17Speaker 13: to cuddle and watch movies, and now she prefers to
- 1:14:20Speaker 13: watch her movies alone. We used to have meals together,
- 1:14:23Speaker 13: and now she eats before I get home from work. Surprisingly,
- 1:14:27Speaker 13: we still have sex, but she doesn't kiss me anymore.
- 1:14:31Speaker 13: I can't even take showers with her now, But as
- 1:14:33Speaker 13: soon as her friends schedule brunch or a girls' night out,
- 1:14:36Speaker 13: she's happy as she can be. Why don't I excite
- 1:14:39Speaker 13: my wife anymore? How do I fix this?
- 1:14:43Speaker 9: He oop, yeah, yeah, yeah. He waited too late, So
- 1:14:49Speaker 9: you let it get to this point. You didn't address
- 1:14:51Speaker 9: it when it was drifting. You didn't just let it
- 1:14:54Speaker 9: drift on and sleee it all off the table. I
- 1:14:56Speaker 9: don't know how you get that back because I don't
- 1:14:58Speaker 9: know what she was doing. You might not have been
- 1:15:01Speaker 9: doing nothing in the beginning. She was just dealing with
- 1:15:03Speaker 9: and then nothing. Yeah, Twino, woman's feet. There ain't nothing
- 1:15:16Speaker 9: you can do about it. I don't know, man, I
- 1:15:18Speaker 9: really can't help you.
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: Bro.
- 1:15:19Speaker 9: You should sit down and talk with her, apologize, ask
- 1:15:23Speaker 9: her how you've.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: Heard her, what has changed in me? What could I
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: do to be better? And they see if she even
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: want to you can start with that conversation.
- 1:15:34Speaker 13: Okay, because it sounds like he still loves her and
- 1:15:36Speaker 13: wants her.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's because he'd a lost her.
- 1:15:43Speaker 9: What do you mean you should have had all that
- 1:15:46Speaker 9: energy when you see trying to keep them. But if
- 1:15:49Speaker 9: you wasn't doing enough to hold her attention, then when
- 1:15:52Speaker 9: she lose your attention, we got to come up with something, bro.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: So the best thing for you to do.
- 1:15:56Speaker 9: Is sit down and have a conversation with her and
- 1:15:58Speaker 9: ask her where you went wrong. Take own this on
- 1:16:00Speaker 9: this one, own this one, and just say, hey, look,
- 1:16:03Speaker 9: obviously I've.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: Done something wrong.
- 1:16:05Speaker 9: Can you please tell me what I've done, because I
- 1:16:08Speaker 9: want my wife back and I'm willing to change, and
- 1:16:12Speaker 9: that's the best way to do it.
- 1:16:14Speaker 13: Okay, all right, we do have time for another one.
- 1:16:17Speaker 13: This is from Charlene in Brentwood. Charlene says, I want
- 1:16:21Speaker 13: to know what's the difference in pollyamory and dating a.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Lot of different people at once.
- 1:16:27Speaker 13: That's what single people should be doing so they can
- 1:16:30Speaker 13: find an ideal mate. We did it back before I
- 1:16:33Speaker 13: got married, and there's nothing wrong with that.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Is there a difference? But yeah, there.
- 1:16:38Speaker 9: Is a dating a lot of people. You ain't got
- 1:16:41Speaker 9: to tell nobody.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that's just dating.
- 1:16:45Speaker 9: You got to tell nobody. Yeah, I don't even suggest
- 1:16:48Speaker 9: you do. Tell I'm dating several people.
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: Shut your mouth, just do it.
- 1:16:51Speaker 9: Colleamory is people who get together at a group that
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: I'm going to be one of multiple and we're in
- 1:16:58Speaker 9: a relationship.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Neo, that's what Neo got.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: Yeah, got three women.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: And it's all sitting up in here.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: They had a social bedmaid all of that.
- 1:17:11Speaker 13: You're in a relationship with more than one person, with
- 1:17:14Speaker 13: several people dating, you're just dating.
- 1:17:17Speaker 16: Now.
- 1:17:17Speaker 9: I'm too old to be in the bed with four people.
- 1:17:19Speaker 9: Because I got I go to the bathroom too many
- 1:17:20Speaker 9: times at night. I got to climb over people. That's
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: what I'm saying, because I can't.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: Get out of there right now. Really, that's all I'm saying.
- 1:17:28Speaker 13: Charlene thinks that if you date a lot of people,
- 1:17:31Speaker 13: your chances are.
- 1:17:33Speaker 9: It's hard to climb over people when you got to
- 1:17:34Speaker 9: go to the bathroom. I've never done it before.
- 1:17:36Speaker 10: You.
- 1:17:37Speaker 9: I just like to get out the bed and go
- 1:17:38Speaker 9: to the bathroom. Now I can climb over people, and
- 1:17:41Speaker 9: now really I can't be something. Excuse me, excuse me.
- 1:17:43Speaker 9: I'm sorry about that. Then I'm gonna forget your name.
- 1:17:45Speaker 9: Call you the wrong.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Excuse me, Brendawn Sharlie, I'm sorry. I don't know who
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: I stepping.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Charlene wrote, Oh, you stepped on my toe.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: I didn't see its toes down there. It's you hurt
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: my leg? Who leg hoo?
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: Who was darking?
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: He's talking?
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: Yeah? Ain't nobody got no make up on? Everybody laying
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: up in here? What happening?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: It's dark?
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: How would you know?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Yeah? All right, I don't think we helped. Charlene coming
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes after the you.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: Can't help everybody.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: Let's deal with that own that I.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Help myself, though I know that is what I need
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: to do, because, like I said, I go bathroom too
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: many times at night, so I can't do more stepping over,
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: climbing people and everything.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: After this, what's going on? This is your boy Kevin Hart.

- 1:25:38Speaker 13: So thank you, guys. I appreciate that very very much.

- 1:25:45Speaker 2: Girl. Thank you guys.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: You get a gold jacket, I hope so.
- 1:25:54Speaker 9: Steve, Yeah, Hey, you know my clothing remarks today, it's
- 1:25:59Speaker 9: just a commentary.
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: I guess.
- 1:26:02Speaker 9: I just want to share a couple of personal viewpoints
- 1:26:05Speaker 9: that I have. And these are just my opinions. You're
- 1:26:09Speaker 9: free to have your own, You're free to disagree with
- 1:26:12Speaker 9: anything I'm saying. I just have a few random thoughts.
- 1:26:16Speaker 9: I guessed that I just wanted to say. You know,
- 1:26:20Speaker 9: I've been in this country my entire life. I grew
- 1:26:24Speaker 9: up as a child in the sixties. I grew up
- 1:26:29Speaker 9: in wels, West Virginia and Cleveland, Ohio. I've seen colors only,
- 1:26:34Speaker 9: water fountains, bathrooms, segregation.
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: I saw that that wasn't even bussing. When I was
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: in school, we were purely just segregated. You went to
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: school in your neighborhood, you ain't go in certain boundaries.
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: Everything I've watched this country evolve over the years, and
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: I've watched this country stay the same over the years.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: I watched our previous presidential election, and the main compound
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: from our main campaign promise from our president was to
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: make America great again. I said it from the very beginning.
- 1:27:14Speaker 9: That's a dangerous slogan, because if you're asking me and
- 1:27:17Speaker 9: telling me that you want to make America great again,
- 1:27:21Speaker 9: you're assuming that it's not the way you want it
- 1:27:23Speaker 9: to be, and you want to take it back to
- 1:27:25Speaker 9: a place and time in history. And as I reflect
- 1:27:30Speaker 9: back on my place in time and history, I can't
- 1:27:34Speaker 9: remember when it was better for me. This is as
- 1:27:37Speaker 9: good as it's ever been for me. And it still
- 1:27:40Speaker 9: has so many holes in this constitution, and so many
- 1:27:45Speaker 9: bullet holes shot in that flag, so many tags and
- 1:27:49Speaker 9: rips in it. And it's just been hard to watch
- 1:27:53Speaker 9: the senseless murders of black people in this country at
- 1:27:58Speaker 9: the hands of police officers. It's been difficult to watch.
- 1:28:04Speaker 9: It's been difficult to be a part of. It's been
- 1:28:06Speaker 9: difficult raising my sons, to teach them how to act
- 1:28:10Speaker 9: when they pulled over so I can get my sons
- 1:28:12Speaker 9: back home. It's been challenging to get my sons not
- 1:28:16Speaker 9: to wear hoodies. It's been challenging watching civilians kill black
- 1:28:21Speaker 9: people with no consequences. George's Zimmermann lied. I'm talking about
- 1:28:28Speaker 9: openly lied and believed it. It's been tough, man, It's
- 1:28:33Speaker 9: been tough. And then to listen to somebody say let's
- 1:28:36Speaker 9: make America great again, and have to deal with where
- 1:28:39Speaker 9: we are today. This is a sad, sad place. We
- 1:28:43Speaker 9: don't have a democracy anymore. We live in where where
- 1:28:48Speaker 9: we have a leader of our country who refuses to
- 1:28:52Speaker 9: say anything to unify us as a people.
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: Just say something, presidential, man, and keep it to yourself. Sometimes.
- 1:29:01Speaker 9: I know I'm gonna get in trouble for saying this,
- 1:29:03Speaker 9: but I'm gonna say it anyway, and then boom, here
- 1:29:05Speaker 9: we go some more dissension. I have watched the rise
- 1:29:09Speaker 9: of white supremacist groups in this country since this man
- 1:29:13Speaker 9: has been in office, because they feel as though one
- 1:29:16Speaker 9: of us is finally in and we're free and able
- 1:29:19Speaker 9: to say more. I've never said I've always known it
- 1:29:22Speaker 9: was racism, y'all, please understand I have, but the openness
- 1:29:26Speaker 9: of it now is blatant, shameless. I applaud the number
- 1:29:33Speaker 9: of non blacks that I see on Instagram still holding true.
- 1:29:37Speaker 9: I watched this one man that just made me laugh
- 1:29:40Speaker 9: the other day. His whole thing was, why don't we
- 1:29:41Speaker 9: just leave black people alone? And then there are non
- 1:29:45Speaker 9: blacks who actually know the history, you know, why don't
- 1:29:50Speaker 9: y'all get y'allself together? And this one lady said, well,
- 1:29:52Speaker 9: every time they try, y'all go and get it down.
- 1:29:55Speaker 9: Why don't y'all do something positive? Every positive movement, our
- 1:30:00Speaker 9: own wall street, our own towns and villages, they burned
- 1:30:04Speaker 9: them down to the ground.
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: And now you want to hide that in the history
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: books as this it never existed. I'm tired, man, I
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: really am. I'm just exhausted. I'm exhausted, you know what.
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: I'm exhausted from asking everybody to just treat us equal,
- 1:30:23Speaker 2: not better. I watched people say lately that the Civil
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: Rights Act was wrong, it should have never happened. Do
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: you know what Civil Rights Act all it was saying.
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: It just asked America to treat us civil. This ain't
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: the better acts right to give us more acts right?
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: It was simply a civil right. All black people want
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: is to be treated civil, just civil. You ain't gotta
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: give me no extra You ain't got to open up
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: no door. But let me say this one more thing,
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: because like I said, I got a bunch of random thoughts.
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: If you get on a plane and you see a
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: black pilot, here's what you should do.
- 1:31:10Speaker 9: Look at him, smile, Go take a seat, put on
- 1:31:14Speaker 9: your seat belt, get your iPad out, and start playing
- 1:31:17Speaker 9: your self games because you are in the safest hands
- 1:31:20Speaker 9: you could possibly be in.
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: Because let me tell you something you're wondering. If he qualified,
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: he's had to do ten times what the requirements are
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: for him to be in that pool, to be up
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: in that cockpit. So sit your sit in your chair
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: and enjoy your flight because you got an overqualified person
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: up there in that seat. That next time you see
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: a black pilot on the plane, put your hands together
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: for it and go sit you down and enjoy your
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: very safe flight because the ain't not now one of
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: them took a plane down in the history of aviation.
- 1:31:53Speaker 9: That go all the way back to the Tuskegee Airman.
- 1:31:56Speaker 9: Put that in the books too.
