- 0:20Speaker 1: good it Steve listening to me together for Steve. Please
- 0:36Speaker 1: to Moby, I don't join join me to be doing me.
- 0:59Speaker 1: You gotta turn ing them. You gotta turn turn turn,
- 1:44Speaker 1: got to turn out to turn the water the water.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Come come on your uh huh I show will a
- 2:04Speaker 1: good morning everybody you're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now one It only Steve Harvey oh Man
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man got a radio show and
- 2:14Speaker 1: a whole lot mold too, man. God is good to me.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I have no other explanation, if I have no other
- 2:21Speaker 1: explanation of my existence and where I stand in this
- 2:24Speaker 1: thing called life, except if it was not for the
- 2:28Speaker 1: goodness of God Almighty. If it was not for His
- 2:31Speaker 1: grace and his mercy, There's no way I could exist
- 2:35Speaker 1: the way that I do. I would not be who
- 2:38Speaker 1: I am or where I am. I am who I
- 2:41Speaker 1: am and where I am simply because God is who
- 2:46Speaker 1: he is. If it was not for God, I would
- 2:50Speaker 1: have no testimony for you, because I would have failed
- 2:54Speaker 1: every single test, plain, pure and simple. I can sit
- 3:00Speaker 1: here today and til you flat out that it is
- 3:04Speaker 1: purely because of God's grace and mercy that I exist
- 3:09Speaker 1: today because of His favor. See now He shows us
- 3:13Speaker 1: favor in life because of a combination of things I've discovered.
- 3:19Speaker 1: And this is not the whole answer to life. I
- 3:22Speaker 1: can assure you as not. But this is a combination
- 3:25Speaker 1: that I've grown to understand better and better, and I
- 3:29Speaker 1: wish I had gotten it earlier in my life. But
- 3:32Speaker 1: here it is. If you take faith and you combine
- 3:39Speaker 1: it with an incredible work ethic, then God has the
- 3:49Speaker 1: greatest opportunities to show you favor. That's the best way
- 3:55Speaker 1: I can explain success to you from my standpoint. It
- 4:00Speaker 1: is the combination of faith and work that produces the
- 4:05Speaker 1: most opportunities for God to show you favor. See a
- 4:09Speaker 1: lot of times we want God to bless us, but
- 4:12Speaker 1: we ain't doing nothing for him to bless So now
- 4:15Speaker 1: we sideways in the equation a little bit. But see,
- 4:18Speaker 1: if you had the faith in God that God can
- 4:22Speaker 1: do anything but fail, that God will get you through,
- 4:26Speaker 1: that God will see you through, that that God is
- 4:29Speaker 1: the God you serve as the greatest gift of all
- 4:32Speaker 1: good things if you kept that faith intact through it all,
- 4:37Speaker 1: and you produced an incredible work ethic that allows the
- 4:42Speaker 1: most opportunities for God to show you favor. See, without
- 4:48Speaker 1: that what you want God to do? See, you can
- 4:51Speaker 1: have faith and be sitting at the house watching TV.
- 4:56Speaker 1: There's nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show
- 5:00Speaker 1: your favor. And you got to do some things man,
- 5:05Speaker 1: that you are uncomfortable doing, or don't feel like doing,
- 5:09Speaker 1: or something that don't have the right payoff right in
- 5:12Speaker 1: front of your face, with the faith that it will
- 5:15Speaker 1: payoff later on. See, too many people are working for
- 5:19Speaker 1: the right now reward, and the right now reward is
- 5:22Speaker 1: not how it works. Sometimes the reward is coming later
- 5:26Speaker 1: on up the road. But the only way you can
- 5:28Speaker 1: know that is if you got to You got to
- 5:31Speaker 1: apply the faith and see the reason you don't know
- 5:34Speaker 1: that that's coming like that, or you have to have
- 5:38Speaker 1: faith to believe that it is coming. Because faith is
- 5:41Speaker 1: the belief in things that you cannot see. That's what
- 5:46Speaker 1: faith is. You know you're standing at let me give
- 5:49Speaker 1: you them. You're standing at the cross walk with a
- 5:52Speaker 1: walk sign on it and the sign flashing on the corner.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Don't walk then that the signs say walk. What do
- 6:01Speaker 1: you think your chances are making it across that street?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Is well, pretty good because guess what the signs say walk.
- 6:09Speaker 1: You can see the other side. There's other people in
- 6:12Speaker 1: the cross walk walking, So guess what. You strike out blindly?
- 6:16Speaker 1: It don't take a lot of faith to get across
- 6:18Speaker 1: that street. That's that's That's not why I'm talking to
- 6:22Speaker 1: you about. I'm talking about the faith, the belief in
- 6:25Speaker 1: things that you cannot see, the faith that what I'm
- 6:29Speaker 1: doing today, I believe in my heart of heart that
- 6:34Speaker 1: God wouldn't bring me this far to leave me. That
- 6:37Speaker 1: God is a true and living God, that he keeps
- 6:39Speaker 1: his promises, that later on, there's things that I'm working
- 6:42Speaker 1: towards right now gonna pay off later on. See, too
- 6:45Speaker 1: many people want to reward right now. See that's not
- 6:49Speaker 1: the exhibition of faith. If it's the right thing to do,
- 6:54Speaker 1: if it's if it's a good thing to do, if
- 6:57Speaker 1: it's a just thing to do. See if it's in it,
- 7:01Speaker 1: it ain't God. You can just clear on up right there.
- 7:04Speaker 1: You can stop all the wandering. If that's his voice
- 7:07Speaker 1: talking to you, if it's the right thing to do,
- 7:09Speaker 1: if it's sin in it, it's not God talking to you,
- 7:15Speaker 1: kill it. You you you can shut it down. You
- 7:17Speaker 1: ain't got to wonder about it. Go down there in
- 7:19Speaker 1: secret venge that ain't God. Go tell him off when
- 7:22Speaker 1: you see him. That ain't God. Anything that's God's sin
- 7:25Speaker 1: in it, is not God's voice telling you to do it,
- 7:28Speaker 1: So you can you can kill that conversation to date.
- 7:31Speaker 1: That's how you know. But if you align yourself up
- 7:34Speaker 1: man and you and what you're doing is just and
- 7:37Speaker 1: right and correct and pleasing in the sight of God,
- 7:41Speaker 1: it'll pay off for you later on. And see here's
- 7:45Speaker 1: here's here's the best way I can tell to it.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Here's another one. When you're going somewhere, when you're when
- 7:53Speaker 1: you're on the road to going somewhere, and you know
- 7:56Speaker 1: the somewhere that you're trying to get to. Let's say
- 7:59Speaker 1: you set a gold or vision for yourself. You know
- 8:01Speaker 1: where you want to get to. You got a good idea,
- 8:05Speaker 1: and you own your way to going there. Listen to
- 8:08Speaker 1: me when it gets hard, and it is going to
- 8:11Speaker 1: get hard, when it gets difficult, and it is going
- 8:14Speaker 1: to get difficult when it becomes challenging, and it is
- 8:18Speaker 1: going to become challenging when it becomes all three of
- 8:22Speaker 1: those things. When it don't look like it's gonna happen,
- 8:26Speaker 1: don't stop and complain so much. But see, I know
- 8:30Speaker 1: he didn't bless me. But in the middle of it, man,
- 8:32Speaker 1: I felt a little heavy. And you got to be
- 8:35Speaker 1: careful when it gets hard for you, because you'll find
- 8:37Speaker 1: yourself complaining. And when you're complaining. See, what you can't
- 8:42Speaker 1: do is you can't complain so much that you forget
- 8:46Speaker 1: that the place that you're trying to go to you
- 8:49Speaker 1: actually own your way there still. See, don't get caught
- 8:54Speaker 1: up into complaining and then lose sight of your blessing
- 8:57Speaker 1: that's actually happening to you. What really, man, of all
- 9:02Speaker 1: the times to register a complaint to God, to sit
- 9:05Speaker 1: up and go, hey, man, I didn't want to wanted
- 9:08Speaker 1: to ease back into this thing. Ease back in, man,
- 9:11Speaker 1: you d it's it's a tornado world around you. You You
- 9:14Speaker 1: ain't got time to ease back in. You got it
- 9:16Speaker 1: going and jump back in it. It is what it
- 9:18Speaker 1: is to whom much is given, much is required. Always
- 9:22Speaker 1: appreciate the blessings, don't get so caught up into complaints
- 9:25Speaker 1: that you lose sight of the blessings. Man. God got
- 9:27Speaker 1: a lot for you in your life, man, but you
- 9:29Speaker 1: gotta have them two things, y'all. You gotta take that faith,
- 9:33Speaker 1: and you got to apply a crazy work ethic to it.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And that creates the most opportunities for God to show
- 9:41Speaker 1: your favor. And when God starts showing your favor, man,
- 9:44Speaker 1: all of them seeds you plant, all of that, all
- 9:47Speaker 1: of that wheat you've been sewing, all of that hard
- 9:50Speaker 1: work you've been put in God to pay it off,
- 9:53Speaker 1: and he'll pay it off in ways that you don't
- 9:55Speaker 1: even see coming. Okay, cool, you're listening to any show,
- 10:16Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, man, have your attention please today's show
- 10:21Speaker 1: it's dated. It's dedicated to mountain people, Scoopa divers and archaeologists.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Mountain people, Scoopa divers and archaeologists. None of them are
- 10:35Speaker 1: listening right now. We're just trying to draw them in.

- 12:42Speaker 1: in radio rest of your life, I promise you. Yeah,
- 12:46Speaker 1: we really a hologram. Thank you, thank you, thank you boy,
- 12:54Speaker 1: thank you. Yeah, I hear to hate uh television junior, sir. Yeah,
- 13:04Speaker 1: I want to be an NFL running back of what
- 13:06Speaker 1: I want to be. See that, I can see that.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I want play. I could see that. Jay, what would
- 13:12Speaker 1: you be? Video point man? Yes? Long right, Dady old point. Uh,
- 13:20Speaker 1: here's gonna be a good one. Tim Me what you
- 13:22Speaker 1: want to be? Chipping Dales? Baby, Chipping Dales were nothing? Yes,
- 13:31Speaker 1: my singer is looking real good to you right about now,
- 13:33Speaker 1: isn't it? Uh huh TV job you can you can't?
- 13:39Speaker 1: All right? Coming up in thirty two after the hour,
- 13:41Speaker 1: some trending world news people Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau
- 13:47Speaker 1: apologize for wearing brown and blackface on three, count them,
- 13:51Speaker 1: three separate occasions. Ain't none gonna happen to him? We'll
- 13:55Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening Steve Harpy Morning Show.
- 14:15Speaker 1: All right, guys. In trending world news, Canadian Prime Minister
- 14:18Speaker 1: Justin Trudeau apologized yesterday afternoon about the controversy over him
- 14:24Speaker 1: appearing in pictures from years ago dressed in black face
- 14:27Speaker 1: and brown face. The first picture emerged of Trudeau wearing
- 14:32Speaker 1: dark makeup and a turban at an Arabian Nights party
- 14:36Speaker 1: in two thousand and one. Then Time magazine published a
- 14:39Speaker 1: picture of him wearing a black face from a yearbook
- 14:41Speaker 1: at a school where he was a teacher, And then
- 14:45Speaker 1: a video was released of Trudeau wearing an Afro wig
- 14:49Speaker 1: and singing Day Day by Harry Billefonte. He Trudeau, you
- 14:57Speaker 1: get a good costume, you go with He up to
- 15:00Speaker 1: reporters in Winnipeg on Thursday, where he apologized for wearing
- 15:05Speaker 1: brown face and black face. Take a listen. I want
- 15:09Speaker 1: to begin by saying a few words directly to racialized
- 15:14Speaker 1: Canadians who face discrimination every single day in their lives,
- 15:19Speaker 1: even in the country like Canada. What I did hurt them,
- 15:25Speaker 1: hurt people who shouldn't have to face intolerance and discrimination
- 15:30Speaker 1: because of their identity. This is something that I deeply,
- 15:36Speaker 1: deeply regret. Darkening your face, regardless of the context or
- 15:42Speaker 1: the circumstances, is always unacceptable because of the racist history
- 15:49Speaker 1: of black face. I should have understood that then and
- 15:54Speaker 1: I never should have done it. He's still that dad
- 15:58Speaker 1: classed a month. They always know what party to wear.
- 16:02Speaker 1: That them whatever you know, I ain't no man, I
- 16:06Speaker 1: just whatever. Dog, Yeah, you know this probably ain't nothing
- 16:10Speaker 1: gonna happen. So I'm gonna step down and even get
- 16:13Speaker 1: voted out next well when when um, when asked if
- 16:18Speaker 1: the public can't expect more pictures of him in blackface
- 16:21Speaker 1: to come out, Trudeau said he just couldn't be sure.
- 16:24Speaker 1: It couldn't be because that was because that was one
- 16:28Speaker 1: of my favorite outfits. I can't I would have been
- 16:31Speaker 1: a party that was one of my favorite I pretty
- 16:38Speaker 1: show I had it on. I can't look. I can't
- 16:41Speaker 1: tell you and tell us damn show had it? Well, No,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I've had it. Let me think. I want one time
- 16:49Speaker 1: I went to a banquet I wore that, and then
- 16:54Speaker 1: I I want one night at a home at a buffet.
- 16:58Speaker 1: It was a fried chick. I thought that was be
- 17:03Speaker 1: more inappropriate. And then I just showing tail at just
- 17:07Speaker 1: kids school that you. I wore showing tail on fourth
- 17:12Speaker 1: of July one year. He was a teacher. I wanted
- 17:16Speaker 1: everybody to be free, set me, and so I wore
- 17:19Speaker 1: an Yeah. He talking about even in a country like Canada,
- 17:24Speaker 1: man like racism everywhere. Pot it's north of the border,
- 17:29Speaker 1: south of the border, it's oversee, it's in Europe. Yeah yeah, yeah, man,
- 17:33Speaker 1: don't what else you got no being here? Well, that
- 17:37Speaker 1: was his favorite out I wore on Easter. I was
- 17:43Speaker 1: a chocolate the Easter bunny one year, chocolate, chocolate chocolate.
- 17:51Speaker 1: It was a chocolate center. Is that true? Yeah, I've
- 17:54Speaker 1: burned that too. And then I walked in Irish pub
- 17:59Speaker 1: and came in as the only black leper coup. One
- 18:06Speaker 1: other time, just one other time. I think that was
- 18:11Speaker 1: a photo. Not sure if phone cameras was out then
- 18:15Speaker 1: in eighty four and was no phone cameras, but that
- 18:19Speaker 1: somebody had a polaroid it was. It was a Satan
- 18:25Speaker 1: Hawker's dance and I came in at Satan Oh. And
- 18:32Speaker 1: then I'm gonna apologize for this because I know this
- 18:35Speaker 1: is coming out. One time I did a poster or
- 18:41Speaker 1: I was on a pancake box. Yeah, I was hugged.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I already know that's gonna come out because my wife
- 18:52Speaker 1: put me in the cost dude. She did to make
- 18:56Speaker 1: up because I didn't know how to tie the bandadda
- 18:59Speaker 1: and she did well. And asked a lot of people
- 19:04Speaker 1: thought I was Tupac. But yeah, a lot of people
- 19:08Speaker 1: thought I was Tupac. Buts and a wife, all right.
- 19:17Speaker 1: When they asked him if he'll step aside ahead of
- 19:20Speaker 1: his re election next month, Trudeau brushed off the question.
- 19:23Speaker 1: He said, I will continue to do the work that
- 19:25Speaker 1: is necessary to keep us moving forward in the right way.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Another reason I'm not dropping out the election is y'all
- 19:35Speaker 1: need a person that's been black and white understand about that.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I've had that outfit on enough times. Well, I could
- 19:43Speaker 1: relate to everybody. Anybody, I'm gonna turn this what's really sad?
- 19:49Speaker 1: Though he could not just say there's no more pictures,
- 19:54Speaker 1: that's sad more he everybody has it plat pass and
- 20:03Speaker 1: I've been a twenty eight Christmas part each time. But
- 20:09Speaker 1: what about before cell phones? Well, I know I wore
- 20:15Speaker 1: it six times to do it severs. Where did you
- 20:22Speaker 1: go as I went? One time? I went at Frederick,
- 20:26Speaker 1: I knew it. Then another time I went as Hard Tubby.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Then I went one year at Malcolm Action, then another
- 20:34Speaker 1: year I went Malcolm. Now, you know, I try to
- 20:37Speaker 1: put it into it about any means. That's one year
- 20:40Speaker 1: I went marm Luther King and then the one year
- 20:43Speaker 1: I just tried to have fun when he didn't actually
- 20:45Speaker 1: went his moms. Maybe moms, Maybe I can't believe that
- 20:52Speaker 1: he said that. He can't be that. He's probably saying
- 20:59Speaker 1: he may as well be honest with it now because
- 21:01Speaker 1: if they find some at least he'll be in the clear.
- 21:03Speaker 1: He didn't say there will never be any more pictures.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Oh you found that? Okay? Oh yeah, yeah, all right,
- 21:20Speaker 1: all right, guys, coming up next to nephew in the
- 21:22Speaker 1: building to run that prank back right after this. You're
- 21:26Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, coming up at the top
- 21:46Speaker 1: of the hour and entertainment news, and Tonio Brown is
- 21:49Speaker 1: being dropped by Nike amid those rape allegations, and President
- 21:53Speaker 1: Trump carries a lot of cash in his back pocket.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Who know to tip people, to tip people. We'll talk
- 22:00Speaker 1: about it though at the top of the hour. Right now,
- 22:05Speaker 1: right now, the nephew in the building, we run that
- 22:07Speaker 1: prank back. What you got for us? Now? Kay? Dog?
- 22:11Speaker 1: Kay dog? Getting out of jail, trying to make sure
- 22:13Speaker 1: things are right. Kay dog, let's go. Hello. You know
- 22:18Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach I'm trying to reach Terence. Yeah.
- 22:21Speaker 1: This is Sarence. Who's this this? Kay? Dog? His uh?
- 22:26Speaker 1: His Brandon is Brandon your brother? Yeah, that's my brother.
- 22:30Speaker 1: He locked up while was up. Okay, yeah cool, Hey,
- 22:33Speaker 1: look I just got that. I was actually, uh, I
- 22:37Speaker 1: was locked up with your brother. We was on the
- 22:40Speaker 1: same two together. I was, you know, that was kind
- 22:43Speaker 1: of like most boy right there. I took kill him.
- 22:46Speaker 1: He told me that he was. He had been writing
- 22:48Speaker 1: you to tell you and you was, you know, letting
- 22:51Speaker 1: you know how I had been taken care of Hi.
- 22:53Speaker 1: You know, uh, we was locked down or whatever. I
- 22:56Speaker 1: know he don't get off for another couple of years,
- 22:58Speaker 1: but like he told me that when he was writing
- 23:01Speaker 1: you that you know y'all had already got is situated it.
- 23:04Speaker 1: You know, you was gonna take care of me when
- 23:07Speaker 1: I got out. So you know, I, like I said,
- 23:10Speaker 1: I just got out last night, and I wanted to
- 23:13Speaker 1: come by and pick up the first ten grand you
- 23:16Speaker 1: know sometimes this wait, wait, wait, wait wait, wait, wait
- 23:18Speaker 1: wait wait how much did you just say? Tenny grand? Yeah?
- 23:23Speaker 1: You know, I mean he told me he had already
- 23:24Speaker 1: wrote you and told you what was up. Oh, bro,
- 23:27Speaker 1: I ain't talking to my brother over a year, dude,
- 23:30Speaker 1: So ain't hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on right?
- 23:34Speaker 1: You know? Okay, he told nah, you know he had
- 23:38Speaker 1: told me that you you got me straight with the
- 23:41Speaker 1: first ten grand when I first get out, and then
- 23:43Speaker 1: a couple of months later you will hit me with

- 43:40Speaker 1: good jay argument. Yeah. Ways to start the argument. No

- 44:01Speaker 1: I've seen that. Let's go. I've seen that, I've seen it.
- 44:04Speaker 1: I've seen it. Here's another one, here's another one. Ways
- 44:08Speaker 1: of starting argument. You own the phone and you laugh
- 44:12Speaker 1: real damn loud, and then you stop whispering. And this
- 44:26Speaker 1: is why he's divorced. Jay, you know how to run

- 56:00Speaker 1: Buckle up, hold on tight. We got it for all
- 56:03Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Sexy and simple minded.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a twenty nine year old man,
- 56:12Speaker 1: and three months ago I started dating a gorgeous woman
- 56:16Speaker 1: in her mid twenties. She has the best body, smooth
- 56:19Speaker 1: and glowy chocolate skin, the sexiest voice, and she is
- 56:24Speaker 1: the best that I ever had, if you know what
- 56:27Speaker 1: I mean. She's very affectionate and she treats me well,
- 56:31Speaker 1: but she's missing one important thing a brain. I hate
- 56:37Speaker 1: to say it, but I like her a lot, but
- 56:39Speaker 1: she's very simple minded. At first, I overlooked it because
- 56:42Speaker 1: the sex was so good. But now I'm starting to notice.
- 56:46Speaker 1: When we go shopping, she has trouble doing even the
- 56:49Speaker 1: most basic math at the cash register. When I give
- 56:52Speaker 1: her directions to meet me somewhere, she has trouble with
- 56:55Speaker 1: right turns versus left turns. My sister enjoys talking to her.
- 57:00Speaker 1: She is so dizzy and it's amusing to her. My
- 57:03Speaker 1: sister asked my girl if she had any any ambitions,
- 57:07Speaker 1: and she responded, no, I don't like guns. She had
- 57:16Speaker 1: any ambitions not ammunition? Yeah, right, not ammunition. Last week,
- 57:21Speaker 1: I admitted to my girl that I have been having
- 57:23Speaker 1: second thoughts about our relationship, and within an hour of
- 57:26Speaker 1: that conversation, she put it down that is in all caps.
- 57:31Speaker 1: Put it down in all caps in the bedroom, and
- 57:34Speaker 1: there was no way I was going to leave her.
- 57:36Speaker 1: After that, I feel stuck. She is beautiful and the
- 57:40Speaker 1: total package on the outside, but I don't think she
- 57:43Speaker 1: would ever bring much else to the table. I can't
- 57:46Speaker 1: imagine her raising kids because she can't even spell basic
- 57:49Speaker 1: words or use proper punctuation. On the other hand, I've
- 57:53Speaker 1: never had loving this good. What should I do? Should
- 57:57Speaker 1: I try to make it work with a great woman
- 57:59Speaker 1: who's amazing in bed or find a better woman that
- 58:02Speaker 1: has a little more going for herself. Your advice as
- 58:05Speaker 1: much is most appreciated. Well, I mean, haven't we all
- 58:10Speaker 1: had a variation of this issue at some point in time?
- 58:13Speaker 1: I mean to some degree. You know, we talk to
- 58:15Speaker 1: our girlfriends. He puts it down in the bedroom, but hey,
- 58:18Speaker 1: he's got a tooth missing, or I don't like the
- 58:21Speaker 1: way he dresses, or he puts it down in the
- 58:23Speaker 1: bedroom he lives with his MoMA, or he's too cheap,
- 58:28Speaker 1: or he's too short. Whatever it is. You know, it's
- 58:31Speaker 1: always something, isn't it. In this instance, you're with a
- 58:35Speaker 1: woman who's beautiful, the best body, smooth, glowy chocolate skin,
- 58:39Speaker 1: sexy voice, the best loving you ever had. But she's
- 58:43Speaker 1: not too bright, you're saying. I think the good news
- 58:46Speaker 1: is you're young. You don't have to decide right now
- 58:49Speaker 1: today whether or not to get married and have kids
- 58:52Speaker 1: and all of that. You're young. I mean, you know,
- 58:55Speaker 1: you guys could just enjoy each other, have fun right now.
- 58:58Speaker 1: You don't have to make that heart of a decision,
- 59:02Speaker 1: even though I know you're thinking of your future. If
- 59:05Speaker 1: you fall in love with her and can't live without her,
- 59:07Speaker 1: then you're going to have to discuss her education. You're
- 59:10Speaker 1: going to have to discuss that. I mean, you know
- 59:12Speaker 1: she may have a learning disability. You don't know. You
- 59:14Speaker 1: said she has trouble with left and right, that maybe
- 59:17Speaker 1: that's something simple that can be fixed. It might just
- 59:20Speaker 1: discuss her education with her. If you fall in love
- 59:23Speaker 1: and can't live without her him, I'm hey, did this
- 59:31Speaker 1: dude twenty nine years old? He needs a real damn
- 59:33Speaker 1: it body. You ain't got no time to fix nobody
- 59:35Speaker 1: the same education he says, she's simple man, there's not
- 59:38Speaker 1: no damn education. Twenty year old man three months ago
- 59:41Speaker 1: to our dating, this gorgeous won't lord, best body, smooth,
- 59:46Speaker 1: chocolate skid SEXI voice, best heat ever hanged if you
- 59:51Speaker 1: know what I mean? We know exactly what you mean. Affectionate,
- 59:56Speaker 1: treats me well, but she missed one important thing. Listen,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: it is a brain. What what the brain is missing? Boy?
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Listen to me. Come on, I hate to say it
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: because I like her a lot, but she's simple mind.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Let's let's okay, let's stop this simple minded though. Okay,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: what you want me to say? Sure, okay, I can't
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: say what he trying to say. You want me to
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: just keep saying simple minded? Star with the same. I
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: can't say that. What was? I'm politically incorrect now because
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: I want to use the worst simple to simple starts
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: with an he didn't already use it. Sexy, she got
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: the best body, smooth, she got chocolate skin, she got
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: the sexiest. Boy. He liked S words, so why stop
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: as simple minded? Let's use the S word because he
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: liked S word. Sure, she is in the letter, starting
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: is in the letter smooth skin, sexiest, she's she ain't
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: got no damn brain. I don't know why we can't
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: tell the truth on this show no more, because political
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: correctness is killing comedy. But I'm not gonna let Just
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: like I would never let a woman ruin her life
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: with the wrong man, I'm not fit to let this
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: young man ruin his life. Now let's just go over
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: where he at with this. I overlooked at it first
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: cast to sex where he would go with another ass
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: was so good, But now I'm starting to notice starting.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: That's another another end. When we go shopping, that's another as.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: She has trouble with the most basic math at the
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: cash res. She don't know how much change she posted
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: when I gave her directions to meet me somewhere. That's
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: another ass. She has trouble with right turns versus left
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: turn Who the hell don't know they right from they
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: left a baby, Charlotte. I don't want to hear this.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: A lot of people, but you ain't in love with
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: one of them. He ain't got no time for this.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: We call hands yeah and get to these well. Part
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three after
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: the Hour today, subject sexy and simple minded we'll be
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening to stew All. Right, Steve,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject sexy and simple minded.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Metis gorgeous woman me a twenty's best body, smooth Glory
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: chapter ski is sexy boys best he ever had. She's
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: effects he treating well, but she missing one important thing
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: or damn brain. I don't know if y'all understand what
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: this man is saying, but that's one of the most
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: critical features to get you through life. And he said, hey,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: just saying because he like a lot belaw, she's simple mind.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: We are hiding from the one ass where to some listen.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Come on, I'm gonna try not to say because the

- 1:24:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna do like part two, like I promise from
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: yesterday I left off, I was talking about how people
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: sometimes look at other people's lives and the end of it,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: I was saying, you know how people try to compare
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: themselves to others, and you shouldn't do that because you
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: know what's happening to another person's life, it may never
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: happen in your life. What you think of another person
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: got undeservedly over you. That's not your call. And I
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: was saying in closing that favor ain't fair. It's not fair. Favor,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: God's favor and grace is not fair. And what I
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: mean by that is this, if God gave out his
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: favor and grace to us according to who deserves it,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: none of us would get it. Nobody would ever get
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: his favor and his grace. But he gives it out randomly.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: He gives it out, whether you ask for it or not.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: It's like, for example, I said, ye today, I hardly
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: ever go to bed and ask God to wake me
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: up in the morning. But guess what. He didn't woke
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: me up for sixty two years, and I don't even
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: really remember too many times ever saying God, wake me
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: up in the morning. He just did it. You know
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: what that was. That was favor, that was grace. And
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: guess what, he did it without me ask it. So
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: that's what I mean when I say favor ain't fair.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: He just gives it. And all of us have been
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: a recipient of his favor and his grace, all of us.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: You know what. I've said this on the radio quite
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: a few times. But justice it's when you get what
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: you deserve. Mercy's when you don't get what you deserve.
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: Grace is when you get what you don't deserve. Now,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: who in here can say they ain't got nothing they
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: didn't deserve. Of course you have if you got any
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: sense in your head and you think about it for
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: a minute. But that's what I keep talking about, how
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: important it is to just have a relationship with God.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: Where you go to church, ain't none of my business.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: What you're calling your Lord and Savior, God, Christ, Jehovah Allah.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: That's none of my business. That's your business. That's the
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: relationship you have with him. All relationships with God is good.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: I'm not that God to stand up and say if
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: you don't believe what I believe, you ain't right, because
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: who am I to pass that judgment. It's a lot
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: of Jehovah's witnesses who live great lives, a lot of
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: Muslims who live great lives. I'm neither one. But I
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: can respect the person's beliefs. It's not for me. I
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: choose not to be that person. My job, one of
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: my reasons is to just get people to have relationship
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: with God. His an advantage to it. Let me show
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: this to you, man, when you have relationship with God,
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: it changes your whole perspective. It really does when you
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: spend time talking to God, when you just spent Jeff,
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: you just spent the day saying thank you consciously for
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: everything you think God has thrown your way. What it
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: does is it changes your perspective. Because then what happens
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: is when you show gratitude while other people keep only
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: seeing what they think is coincidence or what they think
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: is just natural occurrences, you see miracles. Do you understand
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: that when other people see what they think are occurrences
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: or just natural coincidences, you see miracles. You start when
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: you have relationship with God, you start your day out
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: in expectation. You start your day out with gratitude, making
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: you grateful and joyous, and you're waiting to see what
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: God gonna do today. I wake up to see what
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: God gonna do today. And when I get bad news,
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: it's okay because guess what I know that's a reason
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: for this bad news, Because behind every moment of adversity
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: there is a lesson and a blessing and all you
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: got to do is sit there. Bishop Jakes was on
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: my should the last day of my talk show, and
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: you know what he said. He said, pain always leaves
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: a wonderful present and I sat there her, I said, WHOA.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: And when I went home, I thought about it. Pain
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: always leaves a wonderful present, and so I tried to
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: test that theory by thinking of all the painful stuff
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: that's happened in my life. One of my most painful
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: moments was the loss of my mother. That pain, for me,
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: was one of the most the most horrific pains of
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: my life. It left a wonderful present, her memory, all
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: the things she taught me, the pictures I see of her.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: Every time I feel down, I remember something she taught me.
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: I hear her saying words all the time. Man, the
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: words my mama say to me are in my heart
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: ached even harder now that she's gone. She left a
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: wonderful present. You know what it was. Every time I
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: get in trouble, I hear her voice. Every time I
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: need the right answer, I remember a lesson she taught me.
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: Every time I see her picture, I've now began to
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: smile and I feel comfortable. When I used to see
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: her picture, I would break down crying. She's left a
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: wonderful present. You know what she left me, her memory,
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: She left me her lessons in life. She left me
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: all them Sunday school classes. She left me my faith
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: in God. My mama left me so much. Man, she
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: left a wonderful present. She caused me to appreciate life
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: even more. I just that's If you ain't feeling that,
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: I'm sorry, That's just how I feel. I just wanted
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: to share it with you. Behind every pain, pain always
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: leaves a wonderful present. I have a great weekend. Okay,
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: I'm out. Hey, talk to God. He love to hear. Friend.
