- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and it's tough. Good to mother. Please
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join join you turn, hur you go. You gotta
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn them out. Turn. You haven't got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out to turn the water to the water. Go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your tha uh huh. I show will
- 2:03Speaker 1: a good morning everybody. Y'all listening to the voice, come on,
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now on it only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show man. Instead of trying to be about the
- 2:13Speaker 1: business to y'all, I'm I'm I'm doing all I can.
- 2:19Speaker 1: But you know what's crazy in the efforts that I make,
- 2:24Speaker 1: I can do more. You know, my father used to
- 2:27Speaker 1: tell me something when I was growing up. He says, son,
- 2:31Speaker 1: when you've done your best, and you've done all you can,
- 2:37Speaker 1: sit still for a second and just do a little
- 2:41Speaker 1: bit more. Always remember that, he said, When you've done
- 2:45Speaker 1: the best you can and you can done all you
- 2:48Speaker 1: can think of, he say, sit still for a minute
- 2:51Speaker 1: and do some more. And you know what I've discovered
- 2:54Speaker 1: in my life, always have a little more. I ain't
- 2:56Speaker 1: ever just out out out completely I can't take another step.
- 3:01Speaker 1: There ain't another breath in me. There ain't there ain't
- 3:04Speaker 1: another thought I can produce. I'm never completely out, man.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Just take a rest for a minute, man, and then
- 3:13Speaker 1: just do a little bit more and that that. I
- 3:16Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times that's helped me get
- 3:19Speaker 1: over the top. You know, I was watching a documentary
- 3:22Speaker 1: about people climbing Mount Everest and how difficult climbing Mount
- 3:26Speaker 1: Everest was, and how they have on the hill something
- 3:31Speaker 1: called like a death zone or killing zone, where the
- 3:34Speaker 1: majority of people run out of oxygen and they have
- 3:37Speaker 1: to turn back. Well, what's crazy is it's right in
- 3:42Speaker 1: view of the summit. You can actually see the top
- 3:46Speaker 1: of Mount Everest from there. But it's but it's that
- 3:50Speaker 1: little bit that's left that's this most difficult. Now, I
- 3:53Speaker 1: forgot all the reasons why they said most people don't
- 3:56Speaker 1: make it from there, and more people have lost their
- 3:59Speaker 1: lives in that area. I don't know what it is,
- 4:02Speaker 1: but the people that make it to the top of
- 4:05Speaker 1: Mount efforts. They all had to go through that same
- 4:09Speaker 1: zone or that same area, but they had a little
- 4:14Speaker 1: bit more that allowed them to get to the top.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You know, a lot of people have had accidents up
- 4:20Speaker 1: there trying that, So I'm not even really sure if
- 4:22Speaker 1: Mount Everest analogy is a good one. But let's just
- 4:26Speaker 1: break it down a little bit more. Let's just talk
- 4:28Speaker 1: about life. There's a poem I learned back when I
- 4:34Speaker 1: host pledge in. It's called don't Quit. It goes like this,
- 4:37Speaker 1: If I make a mistake, I'm just trying to drum
- 4:39Speaker 1: it up, So here we go. It says when things
- 4:42Speaker 1: go wrong, as they sometimes will, when the road you're
- 4:45Speaker 1: trudging seems all uphill, when your funds are low and
- 4:50Speaker 1: your debts are high, when you want to smile, but
- 4:54Speaker 1: you have to side when cares are pressing you down
- 4:57Speaker 1: a bit, rest if you you must, But don't quit.
- 5:02Speaker 1: For life is queer with his twist and turns, as
- 5:06Speaker 1: every one of us must sometimes learn. And many a
- 5:09Speaker 1: fellow has turned about when he might have won had
- 5:13Speaker 1: he stuck it out. So don't give up. Though the
- 5:17Speaker 1: pace seems slow, you may succeed with another blow. Often
- 5:22Speaker 1: the gold is nearer than it seems to a faint
- 5:26Speaker 1: and a faltering man. And often the struggler has given
- 5:31Speaker 1: up when he might have captured the victor's cup, and
- 5:35Speaker 1: he learns too late when the night came down, how
- 5:38Speaker 1: close he was to the golden crown. Success is failure
- 5:44Speaker 1: turned inside out. It's your silver tint of your clouds
- 5:49Speaker 1: of doubt, and you never can tell how close you are.
- 5:53Speaker 1: It may be kneel when it seems afar, so stick
- 5:58Speaker 1: to the fight when you're the hardest hit. It's when
- 6:02Speaker 1: things seem worse that you mustn't quit. I remember it
- 6:07Speaker 1: because I had a special method of helping you remember
- 6:09Speaker 1: stuff back then. But I remembered it at that point.
- 6:13Speaker 1: My dad has kept me. You know, we often talk
- 6:16Speaker 1: about scripture and everything, and then I don't see how
- 6:20Speaker 1: I could live without it. But every now and then, man,
- 6:22Speaker 1: somebody has a writing. God puts a writing on somebody's
- 6:25Speaker 1: hard that delivers a message. Man, that can help people.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I use every motivational tool that I possibly can to
- 6:32Speaker 1: climb this letter of success, or try to be the
- 6:35Speaker 1: best fall and the best husband I can be. I've
- 6:37Speaker 1: done a lot of changing over the years, and so
- 6:39Speaker 1: have you. But change is necessary in order to grow.
- 6:43Speaker 1: If you don't make changes, folks, you can't grow. I
- 6:46Speaker 1: was a young man on my set. I kept looking
- 6:49Speaker 1: at him, and a sharp little young dude just on
- 6:52Speaker 1: my set, and he had these dreads and I mean
- 6:57Speaker 1: they were they were super long, man, they will well
- 7:01Speaker 1: below the middle of his back, I mean images long.
- 7:04Speaker 1: And he kept talking to him me, and he kept
- 7:06Speaker 1: talking to me and talking to me. So your man
- 7:08Speaker 1: kept talking to him. And I said, hey, man, you
- 7:10Speaker 1: know you do you're a huge self, a favor in
- 7:13Speaker 1: the business you're in. If you got a haircut, you
- 7:16Speaker 1: would do yourself a huge favor. I said, your images everything, man,
- 7:19Speaker 1: I said, you keep stopping me in the hallway to
- 7:21Speaker 1: try to tell me what you're doing, what you are,
- 7:23Speaker 1: but all I see is your hair. Now, I keep
- 7:26Speaker 1: trying to figure out what you're doing with all that hair. Man,
- 7:29Speaker 1: Now you can feel how you want to feel. But
- 7:31Speaker 1: I'm like an employer. I employed people. So when I'm
- 7:36Speaker 1: walking through the hallway and I try to think of
- 7:38Speaker 1: you traveling with me and you sitting in a meeting
- 7:40Speaker 1: with me, I try to imagine you in your suit
- 7:43Speaker 1: sitting there talking business with me. And so, just like
- 7:46Speaker 1: other employers are, I'm just having a real story with you.
- 7:49Speaker 1: So I said, man, you'll to consider cutting your hair.
- 7:53Speaker 1: He said, Man, mister Harbor, I've been growing his hair
- 7:55Speaker 1: side a little boy. I said, how hold are you now?
- 7:58Speaker 1: He said twenty eight? I said, well, how long you
- 8:01Speaker 1: want to hang on to what you was when you
- 8:03Speaker 1: was a little boy? You know, if you started growing
- 8:05Speaker 1: your hair when you're a teenager. I mean, you're twenty
- 8:08Speaker 1: eight now. And I said, so, let me help you
- 8:10Speaker 1: understand something. Let me let me ask you something. What
- 8:13Speaker 1: does it do for you? He's a man, it's just
- 8:16Speaker 1: who I am. It's I said, so you your hair?
- 8:20Speaker 1: He said no, no, but it's a part of me.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I say, that part of you that you're hanging on to.
- 8:26Speaker 1: What does it do for you? I just like it? Well, dog,
- 8:32Speaker 1: I like ice cream, but I fear that. But if
- 8:34Speaker 1: I hang on ice cream and eat ice cream every
- 8:36Speaker 1: single day, my body gonna reflect that. What is it
- 8:40Speaker 1: that you hanging on to that you don't want to
- 8:43Speaker 1: let go of? That's prohibiting you from being what all
- 8:45Speaker 1: you can be? See, it's hard to be what all
- 8:48Speaker 1: you can be if you want to keep being all
- 8:50Speaker 1: you was? Don't that make sense to you? So I
- 8:55Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times I've had to change.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Change is necessary to grow. You can't be all you
- 9:04Speaker 1: can be if you want to keep hanging on to
- 9:07Speaker 1: all you was? That don't make no sense. How do
- 9:11Speaker 1: you go forward? If you keep going backwards? You can't
- 9:16Speaker 1: stay here and go there? Do you understand that if
- 9:20Speaker 1: you want to go over there, you must remove yourself
- 9:24Speaker 1: from right here? Oh? I got right? Here is comfortable,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I got right here is safe. But over there's where
- 9:32Speaker 1: the shade is over. There's where the fruit is. Over
- 9:36Speaker 1: there is where the opportunity is over. There is where
- 9:40Speaker 1: the mountain of goal is. So why are you stuck
- 9:43Speaker 1: on here? You got to leave here to go over there?
- 9:48Speaker 1: You can't be all you can be if you want
- 9:51Speaker 1: to stay stuck on who you was. Change this growth
- 9:54Speaker 1: is necessary. Let's go. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen. It
- 10:02Speaker 1: is here now. One two, one two three. When you
- 10:10Speaker 1: think of love, gotta get it on your mind. You
- 10:16Speaker 1: come on, Think of love when down, Gotta get it
- 10:20Speaker 1: on your mind. Been a rate Valentine, Think of love, God,
- 10:29Speaker 1: get it on your mind. You we missed that, Chilly Strawberry. Hey,
- 10:47Speaker 1: good morning. We let the boys back in today. Good morning,
- 10:52Speaker 1: boys are back calling for real, boys are back in town.

- 11:16Speaker 1: I was at the house and there was some workers
- 11:18Speaker 1: that came over doing some work at the house and
- 11:22Speaker 1: they were from Jamaican Trinidad. Said mister Steve. I must
- 11:29Speaker 1: tell you the ladies were absolutely outstanding on the radio
- 11:32Speaker 1: this morning. I really enjoyed them this morning. They were
- 11:36Speaker 1: just so it was just a really really good show.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I said, y'all, it's pretty proud of ladies. Man. Thank you,
- 11:43Speaker 1: yay right there, thank you. We have un we had
- 11:47Speaker 1: a lot of fun we did. Thank you. Shout out
- 11:49Speaker 1: to Sheryl Underwood. Underwood and Mississippi Monica came through. So
- 11:55Speaker 1: that's my question right here, because I've never heard Monica
- 11:58Speaker 1: on the radio. So what was Monica talking about? How
- 12:01Speaker 1: was the country, whatever the subject was. She she had
- 12:05Speaker 1: her opinion, you know, she talked about how we met
- 12:07Speaker 1: and you know, being single and challenges of changing careers.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Just you know, we just had fun. We just International
- 12:15Speaker 1: Women's Day. Whatever we taught, whatever the subject was, she
- 12:18Speaker 1: spoke on it and it was cool. It was cool.
- 12:21Speaker 1: We talked about celebrating women's and women's and it was good.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Interested I'm telling you're listening, Junior the whole show. Appreciate
- 12:39Speaker 1: I was listening. It was so good. Really is on COVID. Yeah,
- 12:45Speaker 1: he locked up by himself and listened to the show
- 12:49Speaker 1: and everything. Well did you hear shout you out? She did? Yeah,
- 12:56Speaker 1: but you know I was the show like I didn't
- 12:58Speaker 1: work here. Well that's even batter. Yeah, I'll talking about
- 13:02Speaker 1: it was that good. I said, who are these ladies?
- 13:05Speaker 1: Didn't know about my friend? We have fun. We had
- 13:10Speaker 1: a lot of fun, you know, but we gotta do
- 13:12Speaker 1: it again. Steve, you do it again, and y'all will
- 13:16Speaker 1: do it Friday show it damn Women's Day. You just
- 13:25Speaker 1: have another Women's Day. I think listen, it's Women's month. Anyway, Well,
- 13:32Speaker 1: we'll do it again. Photo quote a week ago. Right, well,
- 13:36Speaker 1: listen coming up a thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:38Speaker 1: asked the CLO Chief Love Officer. Right after this, you're
- 13:42Speaker 1: listening string show? All right, guys, time now for ask
- 13:47Speaker 1: the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Let's go because I know he's ready. Now, Steve This
- 13:53Speaker 1: one is from a grandmother. She's in Arlington, Texas. She says,
- 13:57Speaker 1: this is not a love question, but I need your
- 14:00Speaker 1: help with my granddaughter. She is thirteen years old and
- 14:03Speaker 1: keeps getting in trouble in school for cursing and keeping
- 14:08Speaker 1: it real. She told her classmate where to go and
- 14:10Speaker 1: how to get there, and she almost got suspended. She
- 14:13Speaker 1: has no filter. Whatever comes up comes out. Her mother
- 14:18Speaker 1: and I don't curse, but she is very good at it.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I drew the line. I drew the line Sunday when
- 14:24Speaker 1: she called our pastor a snitch after he caught her
- 14:27Speaker 1: cursing and told me about it. What am I going
- 14:29Speaker 1: to do with her? Well? True thought the Mattie is Now,
- 14:33Speaker 1: let's be fair your past he's a snitch, that's what
- 14:39Speaker 1: they call him. Now a man. Oh, your granddaughter has
- 14:42Speaker 1: taken on prison terminology and turn it in to her life.
- 14:47Speaker 1: I can't help you. I'm last person you should call about. Customer.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I don't know what tig thirteen though, yeah got started?
- 14:56Speaker 1: Customer yeah thirteen spread. I didn't have the right combinations
- 15:03Speaker 1: because I didn't know. I just put them together and
- 15:04Speaker 1: they was jumbled nah nah combinations. So I really yeah,
- 15:16Speaker 1: you can say you don't cuss grandma, and I understand
- 15:18Speaker 1: that you and you and you. Her mother may not,
- 15:21Speaker 1: but she didn't pick it up somewhere. And it's an
- 15:23Speaker 1: ugly habit. It's not a cute habit on a girl
- 15:26Speaker 1: or a boy. To tell you the truth, because if
- 15:28Speaker 1: you can't monitor it and harness it, it can lead
- 15:33Speaker 1: to a lot of problems down the road. You got
- 15:37Speaker 1: to sit it down and explain to about what it
- 15:40Speaker 1: is to be a lady. I don't know if that's
- 15:42Speaker 1: gonna do any good, but that's all I got for you.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Because I think all my kids cuss. I think every
- 15:49Speaker 1: last one of them. I don't say a damn thing
- 15:52Speaker 1: when I hid, because I get it. There you go
- 15:55Speaker 1: and there you go. I ain't the best. This one's
- 16:00Speaker 1: from Derek and Largo, Maryland. Derek says, I'm a married
- 16:04Speaker 1: man and I own a small junk removal business. My
- 16:08Speaker 1: wife is the bookkeeper and comes in twice a week,
- 16:10Speaker 1: once a week to do payroll. I have a young
- 16:13Speaker 1: new driver that's fresh out of jail for selling weed.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I hired him on the spot, hoping to give him
- 16:18Speaker 1: a chance to earn honest money. Friday, I returned from
- 16:22Speaker 1: the barbershop and the new guy and my wife are
- 16:24Speaker 1: sitting in her car smoking weed. My wife can't understand why.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I'm very upset. She asked me not to fire this guy.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I want to fire her too. Am I overreacting? Well,
- 16:36Speaker 1: then I think the problem ain't her sitting in a
- 16:40Speaker 1: call Yeah, by it, Her problem is what she doing
- 16:44Speaker 1: in a car with to do smoking weed. You know,
- 16:47Speaker 1: hot aidan got that comfortable and she's supposed to be
- 16:49Speaker 1: running the company. That's stupid business practice. My bigger problem
- 16:54Speaker 1: would now I'm fine him. Why you and this man's
- 16:57Speaker 1: car smoking weed? Yeah? Is my question? Not a good look? Wifie? Yeah?
- 17:04Speaker 1: So no, you're not overreacting if you ask me. Right,
- 17:12Speaker 1: all right? Kelly and South Bend, Indiana says, I'm a
- 17:15Speaker 1: thirty one year old woman dating a twenty eight year
- 17:17Speaker 1: old man. We met at a hookah lounge and bonded
- 17:20Speaker 1: over our love for spoken word in jazz. He's a
- 17:23Speaker 1: songwriter during the day and at night he's in the
- 17:26Speaker 1: studio working on a rap album. I know he's a
- 17:29Speaker 1: great writer, but I'm not sure if rapping is his thing.
- 17:33Speaker 1: His lyrics are very inspirational, so I don't know who
- 17:37Speaker 1: he's making this music for. Should I tell him nicely
- 17:40Speaker 1: that his music isn't all that well, I don't know
- 17:44Speaker 1: if you should tell him if his music's all that's
- 17:46Speaker 1: just Do you want to sign up for this relationship
- 17:49Speaker 1: with this dude? It's been to be broke O time. Yeah. Yeah,
- 17:53Speaker 1: he a songwriter in the day. You don't know none
- 17:57Speaker 1: of his songs. He a rapping at night, and you
- 18:01Speaker 1: don't like none of the raps contradicts herself because it
- 18:08Speaker 1: is very inspirational. Hey, yeah, the inspiration when the last
- 18:11Speaker 1: good ass inspirational rap. You didn't her exactly because all
- 18:15Speaker 1: the hits I heard on the radio ain't a damn
- 18:18Speaker 1: now one of them inspirational. Come on down, come on,
- 18:30Speaker 1: it's inspirational to the strippers. Then okay, but I don't
- 18:34Speaker 1: know how you gonna make no money with you know,
- 18:37Speaker 1: keep you h's common a lot of them, all right.
- 18:46Speaker 1: This is from a podcast listener named Tuesday. Tuesday says,
- 18:50Speaker 1: I'm in my mid thirties and I've been in a
- 18:53Speaker 1: polyamorous relationship for four years now, you know, more than
- 18:57Speaker 1: one lover the man and then yeah, all right, my
- 19:00Speaker 1: boyfriend and I have a three year old son, and
- 19:02Speaker 1: my mother took him away from us. I dropped him
- 19:05Speaker 1: off at her house a week ago so that I
- 19:06Speaker 1: could run errands, and she wouldn't let me in when
- 19:09Speaker 1: I came back a week later, and she's still not
- 19:12Speaker 1: letting me take my son. My boyfriend is ready to
- 19:15Speaker 1: call the police, but I won't let him. Our bedroom
- 19:18Speaker 1: behavior does not impact my son in any way. How

- 19:33Speaker 1: a child. You can't take nobody baby from because you
- 19:36Speaker 1: don't like the lifestyle. What are you talking about? Anybody
- 19:43Speaker 1: with a lifestyle can adopt a child. Now we two

- 29:11Speaker 1: we'll have some entertainment and national news right after this.
- 29:16Speaker 1: You're listening to show still trending the famous Oprah Prince
- 29:24Speaker 1: Harry and Megan Markle interview. Megan claimed that members of
- 29:27Speaker 1: the royal family raised concerns about how dark their baby
- 29:32Speaker 1: Archie the skin color would be, but neither she nor
- 29:37Speaker 1: Harry would reveal who they were. But this morning Oprah
- 29:41Speaker 1: narrowed it down a little bit by saying that Harry
- 29:43Speaker 1: told her it was neither the Queen nor Prince Philip
- 29:46Speaker 1: who had that conversation with him. Oprah said, he did
- 29:49Speaker 1: not share the identity with me, but he wanted to
- 29:52Speaker 1: make sure that I knew and if I had an
- 29:54Speaker 1: opportunity to share it that it was not his grandmother
- 29:57Speaker 1: nor his grandfather that were part of those conversations. M
- 30:02Speaker 1: hm hm hmm. Okay, So who do you think it
- 30:05Speaker 1: is on them aunties and uncles in there and saying
- 30:09Speaker 1: the daddy, the brother daddy or his brother. Uh huh huh.
- 30:14Speaker 1: How black is this baby gonna be? Is because baby
- 30:20Speaker 1: going to give him a title? They weren't going to
- 30:22Speaker 1: give the baby a title. That's cold? Yes, is it
- 30:27Speaker 1: gonna be gonna be co coole Brown? I mean what
- 30:32Speaker 1: we're talking about here? Yeah, that's cold blooded, man, it is. Yeah,
- 30:39Speaker 1: racist it's really bad. If you have to flee to
- 30:42Speaker 1: the United States to get away from racist that's how
- 30:47Speaker 1: bad it is. Bad it is. You gotta come in here.
- 30:51Speaker 1: I'm familiar with this racism. Have you not been looking
- 30:54Speaker 1: at the news over here? If you go racism go
- 30:59Speaker 1: when you reckond mask? Wow? What you say, Steve? How
- 31:04Speaker 1: dark was their baby gonna be? Well? You know, ain't
- 31:10Speaker 1: that power for the course? Which I mean you know
- 31:14Speaker 1: y'all think because they queen and all that, Okay, dosh,
- 31:18Speaker 1: you think they're gonna be different? Oh, you mean that's
- 31:23Speaker 1: part of it. I mean somebody told me if you
- 31:25Speaker 1: trace the lineage back of the royal family, their hands
- 31:31Speaker 1: was all in a slave trade, I mean colonial time
- 31:36Speaker 1: British you know, we could put that together. But sure,
- 31:40Speaker 1: you're right. Yeah, But but Megan did say she thought
- 31:44Speaker 1: it would be different inside than outside. She she understood,
- 31:48Speaker 1: when you're outside, you put your face on and you know,
- 31:51Speaker 1: for the public and everything. But she thought inside it'd
- 31:54Speaker 1: be a little different, you know, And they could have
- 31:57Speaker 1: used that as an opportunity to to use her her,
- 32:00Speaker 1: you know, to go out to the world and talk
- 32:03Speaker 1: about inclusion and yeah, and all of it. In the Commonwealth. Absolutely,
- 32:09Speaker 1: but yeah, absolutely right, Yeah, call her mama over there.
- 32:14Speaker 1: That's what she you know, her MoMA real black. Talk
- 32:16Speaker 1: about my grand babies. You say, the most handsome mass
- 32:18Speaker 1: family i've seen either. Oh y'all. Okay, they're not cute.
- 32:23Speaker 1: They're not cute South Central baby. You ain't got to
- 32:27Speaker 1: put up yea yet. Something over and they're talking about
- 32:30Speaker 1: the grandfather. They's like, we know he ain't say none.
- 32:32Speaker 1: He ninety nine. They told about he looked purple. Yeah,
- 32:35Speaker 1: you're worried about this black baby, would you would? But
- 32:37Speaker 1: just purple man? Every day anybody, Chris Philip, they do it. Yeah,
- 32:45Speaker 1: but well they don't have to do something. The Palace
- 32:48Speaker 1: of the monarchy. They haven't said anything, so say something.
- 32:52Speaker 1: They might say something today. You never know. Man, that's
- 32:55Speaker 1: cool so far, all right, all right, we'll see if
- 32:59Speaker 1: you know what time it is gonna be. Would you
- 33:03Speaker 1: say she's pregnant now with a girl? She said, But yeah,
- 33:10Speaker 1: a little Archie, Prince Archie is already here. Yeah. And
- 33:15Speaker 1: he's white for the most part. I mean, it looks
- 33:18Speaker 1: very very white. All right, Steve, we gotta ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:22Speaker 1: Miss Anne trimp Okay, good morning, everybody, and this is
- 33:25Speaker 1: a trip with the news and yes, just for your
- 33:27Speaker 1: information on brown skin. Okay. Jury selection will stopped yesterday
- 33:31Speaker 1: and the murder trial of Derek Chauvin, the white x
- 33:33Speaker 1: Minneapolis cop charged with killing George Floyd. The reason, as
- 33:37Speaker 1: I mentioned yesterday, an appeals court had ruled Friday that
- 33:40Speaker 1: the lower court which dismissed a third degree murder charge
- 33:42Speaker 1: against Chauvin should not have been dismissed. The defense wants
- 33:46Speaker 1: to charge out. Prosecutors wanted to end because it's reportedly
- 33:49Speaker 1: easier to prove and the sentencing is about the same
- 33:52Speaker 1: as well. Also, the state wants to trial delayed a bit,
- 33:55Speaker 1: but Jerik Chauvin's attorney and the judge wants the trial
- 33:58Speaker 1: to begin as soon as possible. We'll see what happened
- 34:00Speaker 1: later on to day around one pm. It took a
- 34:03Speaker 1: whole year, but Brianna Taylor's grieving boyfriend Kenneth Walker, has
- 34:07Speaker 1: finally been cleared of all charges in that horrific case.
- 34:10Speaker 1: A judge has now permanently dismissed all charges against mister Walker,
- 34:13Speaker 1: who was awakened at one o'clock in the morning last
- 34:16Speaker 1: March as police rammed and hit into his emergency medical
- 34:20Speaker 1: technician girlfriend's apartment. They were sleeping. Walker call nine one
- 34:23Speaker 1: one for help and used his licensed pistol to shoot
- 34:26Speaker 1: into the hallway, thinking the intruders were criminals. Again, his
- 34:29Speaker 1: pistol was licensed. He unwittingly shot one officer in the
- 34:32Speaker 1: leg and that cop has been wanting to charge him
- 34:35Speaker 1: with attempted murder. And that is what the judge says. No,
- 34:38Speaker 1: you can't. That's it. Forget about it, don't try it.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Treasury Secretary Janet Yellott says that all the worrying that
- 34:43Speaker 1: the President's coronavirus relief bill is going to cause inflation
- 34:46Speaker 1: so far is misplaced. This is a tremendously important package
- 34:51Speaker 1: that will bring hundreds of millions for Americans to relief
- 34:55Speaker 1: they need. First of all, it will provide the money
- 35:00Speaker 1: we need to vaccinate our population to get the pandemic
- 35:04Speaker 1: under control. Yell And tell's MSNBC that the fourteen hundred
- 35:08Speaker 1: dollars stimulus checks has going out to millions of Americans,
- 35:11Speaker 1: along with other assistance, will take the country back towards
- 35:14Speaker 1: full employment by next year. Foreign President Donald Trump's last
- 35:18Speaker 1: remaining election appeal was turned down by the Supreme Court yesterday.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Fox News says that Trump claimed that the election officials
- 35:24Speaker 1: in Wisconsin used unauthorized absentee voting drop boxes and allowed
- 35:29Speaker 1: poll workers to correct or change absentee ballot witnesses certificates.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Judges dismissed that as an unproven argument. Finally, while a
- 35:39Speaker 1: few new words and phrases have entered the everyday American
- 35:42Speaker 1: lexicon because of the pandemic, like lockdown and social distancing,
- 35:46Speaker 1: German linguists say their people have added about twelve hundred
- 35:49Speaker 1: twelve hundred new compilations or combinations of nouns and birds
- 35:52Speaker 1: for it since the pandemic has started. One of the
- 35:55Speaker 1: long ones goes like this behefsmoonnasson schmutz, which translates to
- 36:00Speaker 1: mouth knows protection. But of course the English language is
- 36:03Speaker 1: the winner's super back to Steyning Show, You're listening Steve

- 39:14Speaker 1: Right on in there, all right? Coming up with thirty
- 39:17Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour, we'll find out what the

- 39:48Speaker 1: richest person in the world. So we asked the guys
- 39:51Speaker 1: what would they do if they married her or someone
- 39:55Speaker 1: another woman who had as much money as she does.
- 39:57Speaker 1: But she telled me to do doing it if she
- 40:01Speaker 1: said cut the yard neck it. I am pushing the
- 40:04Speaker 1: hell out that lam you give me I got. She

- 45:59Speaker 1: figure out what kind of person shells and get to
- 46:02Speaker 1: get a you know, kind of get a background so
- 46:03Speaker 1: you can kind of tell me what kind of person,

- 54:03Speaker 1: Here It is the strawberry lettuce. Thank you, nephew. Subject
- 54:08Speaker 1: number two will never be number one. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:11Speaker 1: I was a single and attractive, thirty four year old
- 54:14Speaker 1: woman losing hope at finding love. I grew tired of
- 54:18Speaker 1: the dating cycle and I decided that I would not
- 54:21Speaker 1: have sex again until I was married. I prayed and
- 54:25Speaker 1: practiced celibacy, and a year later I met the man
- 54:28Speaker 1: of my dreams. He is handsome, educated, gainfully employed, and
- 54:34Speaker 1: he loves the Lord. I fell hard for this man,
- 54:38Speaker 1: and a year after we met, we got married. I
- 54:41Speaker 1: was so excited for my wedding night because it would
- 54:44Speaker 1: be our first time making love. He is blessed with
- 54:47Speaker 1: the proper equipment, but it's his skill set that's lacking.
- 54:52Speaker 1: On our wedding night, I had the absolute worst sexual
- 54:56Speaker 1: experience I've ever had. It was four minutes start to finish,
- 55:01Speaker 1: then he passed out and slept like he has showed out.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Since then, he's been overly confident, and he's not as
- 55:09Speaker 1: attentive and loving as when we met. Six months into
- 55:13Speaker 1: the marriage, I ran into an old friend from college
- 55:16Speaker 1: and he had some dental work done, and it made
- 55:19Speaker 1: a world of difference in his appearance. We had lunch
- 55:23Speaker 1: and we talked for hours. He said that when I
- 55:26Speaker 1: got married, it broke his heart because he's always had
- 55:29Speaker 1: a big crush on me, but didn't think I'd give
- 55:32Speaker 1: him the time of day. Well, I've given him a
- 55:34Speaker 1: lot more than that. I'm falling for this man because
- 55:38Speaker 1: he has given me his whole heart, and he holds
- 55:42Speaker 1: me after sex, kisses my nose, and looks into my
- 55:46Speaker 1: soul when he talks to me. I'm ready to get
- 55:49Speaker 1: a divorce and date my boyfriend for a while. I
- 55:52Speaker 1: want to be happy, and so far this guy could
- 55:55Speaker 1: be my soul mate. Steve says that number two will
- 55:58Speaker 1: never beat number one. So I want your opinion on
- 56:02Speaker 1: my situation. What if this? What if this time there
- 56:06Speaker 1: is an exception to the rule? Could this be true love? Wow? Wow? Well,
- 56:13Speaker 1: by exception to the rule, you mean he's your number two,
- 56:16Speaker 1: right and you're thinking of making him number one, replacing
- 56:19Speaker 1: your husband with him. Could this be true love? You ask, Well,
- 56:25Speaker 1: I don't know about that. I don't know if love
- 56:27Speaker 1: has anything to do with this. I do think lust
- 56:31Speaker 1: is all over this situation, though, I do. And instead
- 56:35Speaker 1: of um, and would you say, Steve, that was oh,
- 56:41Speaker 1: oh oh, sorry, I thought it was. Yeah, I don't.
- 56:45Speaker 1: I don't say stupid stuff out of nowhere, Okay, okay,
- 56:48Speaker 1: And you're right about that, And I should have known better,
- 56:50Speaker 1: because I do know you. You know you You talked
- 56:55Speaker 1: in the beginning of your letter how you grew tired,
- 56:58Speaker 1: you decided you wouldn't have sex again, and you started
- 57:00Speaker 1: losing hope and finding love. And then you met this
- 57:03Speaker 1: great man, the man of your dreams, and six months
- 57:06Speaker 1: into your marriage, you've already cheated on him. Instead of
- 57:10Speaker 1: trying to fix your new marriage and fight for it,
- 57:12Speaker 1: you haven't done that at all. I mean, I think
- 57:14Speaker 1: you've checked out, You've moved on just six months in.
- 57:19Speaker 1: I think you're falling for the grass is always greener trap.
- 57:23Speaker 1: And not once did you say you tried to, you know,
- 57:25Speaker 1: talk to your husband about what you like, you know,
- 57:28Speaker 1: maybe he could do something better. And then wait a minute,
- 57:31Speaker 1: you did say you prayed, You practice celibacy, and your
- 57:35Speaker 1: husband loves the Lord, so I would think that you
- 57:38Speaker 1: would honor your marriage vows since you're the one that
- 57:41Speaker 1: brought the Lord into it. I don't know. This letter
- 57:45Speaker 1: doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I want
- 57:47Speaker 1: to tell you to leave your number two alone and
- 57:49Speaker 1: try to work on your number one right now, since
- 57:52Speaker 1: it's only been six months into it. But I don't
- 57:54Speaker 1: think you're gonna listen at this point. I just don't
- 57:57Speaker 1: think so. Steve m I'm sure, says he and I
- 58:10Speaker 1: understand what you're saying. I think you make valid points
- 58:13Speaker 1: in here too. The number two will never be number one.
- 58:17Speaker 1: Let me help you out with something you said. Let's
- 58:20Speaker 1: start with the letter. Steve says, number twos will never
- 58:23Speaker 1: be number one. So I want your opinion on my situation.
- 58:27Speaker 1: What if this time that's an exception to the rule.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Could this be true? Love? I said, men don't make
- 58:36Speaker 1: their number twos when they have a number one. If
- 58:42Speaker 1: a guy has a solid his ride to die and
- 58:46Speaker 1: that's what he called her, and then he got a
- 58:50Speaker 1: chick on the side, and your number two, we don't
- 58:53Speaker 1: promote number twos to number one because you ain't considered
- 58:58Speaker 1: ride to die. That's what the situation is. So now
- 59:05Speaker 1: this is a different situation because you're married. You're supposed
- 59:10Speaker 1: to be your husband's number one, and your husband is
- 59:15Speaker 1: supposed to be yo number one. But now you are
- 59:18Speaker 1: a woman wanting to promote yo number two to the
- 59:23Speaker 1: number one position, and that's what you're wanting to do.
- 59:28Speaker 1: This is rare. Let me walk you through some contradictions
- 59:33Speaker 1: in this letter before I give you what I want
- 59:35Speaker 1: to say. You didn't have sex to use. Married thirty four,
- 59:39Speaker 1: your old woman found this man. He's a man of
- 59:41Speaker 1: your dreams. He's handsome, educated, gainfully employed, and he loves
- 59:46Speaker 1: the Lord. You did not mention how much you love
- 59:53Speaker 1: the Lord. Yeah, but he loves Lord. You ain't say
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: nothing about you. I felt half of this man, and
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: a year after we met we got married. I was
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: so excited from my wed night because if we our
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: first time making love. He's blessed with the proper equipment,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: but it's his skill set that's lacking. Oh so you
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: took a year off still had Joe skills. So what
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: are we really talking about here? All right? Hold on, Steve? Yeah,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Part two. Steve's response is coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: minutes after number two. Will never be Number one is
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: the subject. We'll be back right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: to show? All right? Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: strawberry letter. Subject number two will never be number one.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: This is an interesting letter about this woman who states
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: that Steve says that the number two will never be
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: number one. So I won't opinion on my situation. What
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: is this? What if this time there's an exception to
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: the rule. Could this be true love? I'm gonna get
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: to this part quickly. But first of all, she married
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: this guy, the man of her dreams everything. She's been
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: sellibate for a year and a half. She didn't have
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: sex to her wedding night. She was so excited about
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: the sex. She felt hard for the man. They made love.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: He got the right equipment, but his skill said, it's lacking.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Our wedding night, I had the absolute worst sexual experience
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I ever had. It was four minutes from start to finish.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: And so he didn't got you undressed, took all them
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: buttons off that wedding dress, got all them garters down
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: and thigh highs and all that, and unsnapped all of
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: them spanks and got all that stuff unstrapped, and got
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: them clips wedding dresses half our four five pieces to
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: it who all, And then right after that it was
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: over for it is and he passed out and slept
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: like he has showed out to him. He did. Now
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: he'd asked sex in a year and a half either,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: So come on, now, this a lot of it's a lot.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: So the first time, maybe he didn't do right, but
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I guess he continued that way because since then he's
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: been overly confident. He's not as attentive and a loving
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: as he was when you met. So other words, I'm
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: assuming you're saying that he's become eric for some reason,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: that maybe he think he all that because you ain't
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: looking upside his head the right way. You know this
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: four minutes. You need to stop something before we get
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: excues me, excues me, excuse me? Can I get more
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: than fault today what we're doing? Can we do eight?
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Let's get a clock. You need a timer on the
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: night stand, hit a thing like a chess clock, and
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: you need I need eight from you tonight. Let's work.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Let's beat last night. We need twelve. But he ain't
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: been given the teeth. So you rather to an old
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: college for it had some dinner work done. So that
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: means before in college he had a ragged ass mouth,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: but now he hadn't got this dinner work done, and
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: he's made a world of difference. He said when he
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: got married and broke his heart. He always had a
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: big crush on me, but he didn't think I'd give
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: him the time of day. Well, hell, he knew he wasn't.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: He had a ragged ass mouth. You know he knew, well,
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: he knew, he knew the girl wasn't gonna give him
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: time a day. You got ragged ass mout, raggedy mouth
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: fans me and no, they ain't got no you know
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: your teeth is they gonna see your teeth. Hard to
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: hide your teeth when you're talking, can't laugh with bad teeth,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: and you can't even have a good sense of human
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: He got ragged ass mouth, So then well I've given
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: him a lot more than that. I'm falling for this
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: man because he's given me his whole heart. He holds
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: me after sex, kisses my nose, looks into my soul
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: when he talked to me, I'm ready to get a
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: voice and date my boyfriend, and date my boyfriend a while.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: I want to be happy, and so far this guy
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: could be my soul mate. Steve says, it's number two
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: would never be number one. So I want your opinion
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: on this situation. What if this time there's an exception
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: to the rule. Could this be true love? All right?
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: Here's my answer. It could be you may have married
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: a person that's not your soul mate. It happens all
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: the time. Sometime it take a minute to find your
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: soul Lady, sometime it take more than one time. Help
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: me Jesus through this letter. I think it's maybe. I
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: think she may have realized she made a mistake. I
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: think this. Once you got to live in with a
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: guy and sleeping with a guy, you discover some things
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: that might not be changeable. Now you can go to counseling.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: But you got to be in love with this man.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: If you're not in love with a person, that ain't
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: gonna work. Tina Turner said, WHOA. Of course love got
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: to do with it. You got to do for him. Well,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: I fell hard and stayed falling. These two different things
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I felt. I felt hard for a whole lot of
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: people in my life. Got my ass right back up though, too. Yeah,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: I felt hard for a whole lot of damn people.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Got my ass right on back up. Let me stop.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: You marry them though? Did you marry them though? I'm
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: on my third man? Said a whole lot of people.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: You haven't had a whole lot of marriages. No, I
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: ain't got I ain't married everybody I fell for. I
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: felled for three women because they had apartments. I was homeless.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: If I felt a girl at the club, Yeah, when
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I was homeless, I met a girl at the comedy Fall.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I was in love with her that night, felt hard
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: for her. Love first sight, first sight, at first. I
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: love you as soon as I heard her. She has
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: some keys jangly, Hey, what is your keys? To say?
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: My apartment? Apartment? A dope? You've got a bath room,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: that room, a kitchen. Girl, So yeah, it could be,
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: and you may have married the wrong person, But only
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: you can know that. I don't tell people to stay
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: in marriages. It ain't good. Counsel ain't gonna save all
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: of the Sometimes you made a mistake, you got to
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: eat the mistake. So nad it is an exception to
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: the rum. He could be it, but you could be
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: wrong about this one too. I'm on my third all right,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: thank you, Steve. Coming up next it is Junior with
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: sports talks. When we get back at forty six minutes
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: after the hour. Right after this, you're listening morning show.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: All right, here is Junior. Junior is ready with bords.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Talk what you got Junior. Well, Shirley. Over the weekend,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: it was the NBA All Star going down down on
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: the at L Yes, Shirley, it was. It did and
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: they did a little different because of code. They had
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: everything on Sunday. You know, normally they spread it out
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: one night Friday. He had everything just on Sunday. Man.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: They had the Skills Challenge, the three point Contest, and
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: the dunk contest. They had the skills Challenge and the
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: three point contest before the game. Steph Curry took the
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: three point contest as expected. He was the favorite. Yeah,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: he still got it. Man outshot Mike Connolly. And then
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: the skills challenge the Montess Sabonis, he took it from
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: the Pacers. He took these skills challenge and the dunk
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: contest they did at halftime. It was only three dunkers. Yeah, man,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: it was only three dns. Just three. Man, they normally
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: have five. It was just three, just three. So Anthony
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Simmons took that. The game was done a little different
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: this year. Um. You know they had reset the clock,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: I mean the score the scoreboard every quarter and so now, yeah,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: they started over. So if you won that quarter, you
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: got a one hundred fifty thousand dollars for your charity
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: for the team Lebron team Durant. Yeah. And then so
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: they did that Lebron James team. They took two out
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: of three quarters and then the fourth quarter there is
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: no clock. And what they did to honor Kobe is
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: they totaled up all the scores and you had a
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: target score, and they made twenty four points to whoever
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: was leading, which happened to be Lebron. They were leading,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: and which made the target score one seventy. Study started
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: to quarter one forty six, So who were the first
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: to one seventy won the game. And that's how they did.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: That was a tribute to Kobe Bryant, the Greek Freak.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Though he was the MVP of the game. He finished
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: with thirty five points on sixteen of sixteen shooting. He
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: didn't miss us shot. Yeah, he didn't miss nap. He
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: didn't miss nap. Wow. Man, it was a good game, man,
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: it really was. I'll say this though, Man, I was
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: I was just Dame Lillard just to end that game.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Did you see that shot? I saw that shot man,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I just dog, he stepped over the half He didn't
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: throw it. He shot a jump shot. I'm talking about
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: like he was shooting a fifteen footer. Yeah, one foot
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: over half court. But them boys were shooting some shots
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: from so Steph. Steph came over the line, took two
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: steps and were just draining them running back. But you know,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: basketball has changed. So I'm not really a fan of
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: the All Star Game. I love the Stars, but I
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: don't you know, they're not really playing defense. One hundred
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: and seventy points. Come on, anybody checking, nobody to understanding,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: anybody trying to get hurt, anybody trying to get hurt.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: It's just an exhibition game of skills. And they are
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: the most skilled basketball players in the world. But I
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: get nothing from watching people shoot a series of three pointers.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I mean it was just raising. Yeah, and that's not
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: that's not that good for me. Real quickly break Blake
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Gliffid signed with the Nets. So that's that's the other
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: thing with the Nets. Yeah, he went, oh lord, here
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: we go. We'll talk about it tomorrow, all right, Junior,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: thank you coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: No more dogs at the White House. We'll tell you
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: about it right after this. You're listening to the Stave
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, so guys this story. Wow, President
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Biden's dogs just got kicked out of the White House. Okay,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: sounds like they were a bit too aggressive for the
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: White House. The Bidens have two German shepherds, Major and Champ.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: They were shipped back to the family home in Delaware
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: last week following some Some people are calling it undoggedlike.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Some people are calling it doglike behavior at the White House,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: including a biting incident. Major is a three year old
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: pooch that President Biden adopted from a Delaware animal shelter
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: back in twenty nineteen, reportedly got his chompers on a
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: member of the White House staff. Okay, but he didn't
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: got his stupid ass put out. White. He's out now right,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: you know the other dogs is going and your dumb

- 1:11:10Speaker 1: You can't care? You know where Major? What's wrong with
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: your ass? And the other dogs? The other dog got
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: put out? Just called Champ head to go, called Major
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: as a right, Steve Champ Yeah yeah. Um. Major was
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: also said to be, you know, really agitated around the
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: White House. He was charging and jumping and barking at
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: the staff, and he was smelling Trump Trump. And now
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: you're right about Champ, Steve. He has to go because
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: of Major. He's about thirteen years old, so he's slow.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: You know he's slowed. He really mad. Yeah, your young
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: ass biting keep for false stupid Damn. Me and Joe

- 1:13:10Speaker 1: he's stepping. Get sighting, dog, you're gone because you know

- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Don't make this means come on, man, get on up
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: and hop for me one time. I don't let him

- 1:14:17Speaker 1: group Wark, my rail, damn Champion. Yeah so far right now,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: no more dogs scheduled to be at the White House,
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: so we'll see what happens. They might bring Champion. They're
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: barking and major and messed it up in Champs. I
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: was just chilling to come into kitchen with me. Man,

- 1:16:55Speaker 1: he's ready. Now, Steve. This one is from a grandmother.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: She's in Arling in Texas. She says, this is not
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: a love question, but I need your help with my granddaughter.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: She is thirteen years old and keeps getting in trouble
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: in school for cursing and keeping it real. She told
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: her classmate where to go and how to get there,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: and she almost got suspended. She has no filter. Whatever
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: comes up comes out. Her mother and I don't curse,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: but she is very good at it. I drew the line.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: I drew the line Sunday when she called our pastor
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: a snitch after he caught her cursing and told me
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: about it. What am I going to do with her? Well?
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: True thought the Mattie is Now, let's be fair your
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: past he's a snitch, that's what they call him now
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: a man. Oh, your granddaughter has taken on prison terminology
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: and turn it in to her life. I can't help you.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: I'm last person you should call about custom. I don't
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: know what to tell you. Thirteen though, yea god started customers. Yeah, thirteen,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: I was an expert. I didn't have the right combinations
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: because I didn't know. I just put them together and
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: they was jumbled combinations. So I really creative. Yeah, you
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: can say you don't cuss grandma, and I understand that
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: you and her mother may not, but she didn't pick
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: it up somewhere. And it's an ugly habit. It's not
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: a cute habit on a girl or a boy, to
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: tell you the truth, because if you can't monitor it
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: and harness it, it can lead to a lot of
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: problems down the road. You got to sit it down
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: and explain to about what it is to be a lady.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: I don't know if that's gonna do any good, but
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: that's all I got for you, because I think all
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: my kids, Cuse I think every last one of them.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: I don't say a damn thing when I hid, because
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: I get it. There you go, and there you go.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: I ain't the best. Let's move on. This one's from
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: Derek and Largo, Maryland. Derek says, I'm a married man
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: and I own a small junk removal business. My wife
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: is the bookkeeper and comes in twice a week, once
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: a week to do payroll. I have a young new
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: driver that's fresh out of jail for selling weed. I
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: hired him on the spot, hoping to give him a
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: chance to earn honest money. Friday, I returned from the
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: barbershop and a new guy and my wife are sitting
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: in her car smoking weed. My wife can't understand why.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: I'm very upset. She asked me not to fire this guy.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: I want to fire her too. Am I overreacting? Well?
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: I think the problem ain't her sitting in the car, Yeah,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: fire it. Her problem is what she's doing in the
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: car with to do smoking weed. You know, hot aidan
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: got that comfortable, and she's supposed to be running the company.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: That's stupid business practice. My bigger problem would now I'm
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: fine him. Why you and this man's car smoking weed
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: is my question? Not a good look, WIFEE. Coming up
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: next the last break of the day, okay, on this Tuesday,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: and we'll have some closing remarks at forty nine minutes
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: after the hour from the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to Morning show. All right, guys,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: this Tuesday. What a day it has been. Um. Wow,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: we had a lot of stuff to talk about today,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: the dogs getting kicked out of the White House, Jeff
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Bezo's ex wife getting married to the school teacher worth
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: thirty eight she's worth thirty eight point three billion dollars.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: Racism at the Palace. Yes, Megan and Ties up in here.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: You're not trying to do that. They just blatant like
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: that when it's on me. No, you're not going to
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: have this baby fing to be We don't have no
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: black babies running up in here. Yea day, big day,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: big day. But um Steve Yeah. And my closing remarks
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: today I stem from all as usual personal experiences and
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: one of the things that I've always asked God for.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: I've always asked God from a young age to help
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: me in my walk to become relevant. I've always wanted
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: to be relevant, not so much in terms of famous
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: or well off, but I've wanted God to help me
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: in my walk to become relevant. And the way that
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: I've been guided to become relevant is to help people
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: who are less fortunate than me to try to share
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: the principles of success that I've paid such a price
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: to learn. I didn't learn all of what I learned
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: in a book or in school. I learned the majority
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: of what I know through life experiences, good or bad,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: when or lose, I've learned them all through my experiences.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: I've also gotten some counseling and guidance from some very
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: important and relevant people in this world in my life,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: and I've been very fortunate in that. But along the
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: way of becoming irrelevant and becoming a person who tries
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: to give back, to be meaningful, and to change, I
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: had to make sure that I tried to hold on
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: to a couple of principles in my life. And I've
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: always asked God to keep me honorable. Father, God, if
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: you would just keep me honorable in my walk through life,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: where as a friend, I can forever be counted on,
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: and I will. I can proudly say this that men
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: who know me, who have sat with me and spent
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: any amount of time with me, will tell you that
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: I am honorable, that I'm a respectful man of the
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: culture of my people. That I've tried to be an
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: example to people, and especially to black people, especially to
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: black boys. I've always been that way, and I've asked
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: God to keep me honorable. My fraternity o make a
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: sci fi. The Greek interpretation of that simply means friendship
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: is essential to the soul. It's a very simple creed
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: we have because see, you can live in this world
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: without your mother. Most of us on this show are
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: doing that. You can live in this world without your father,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: You can live in this world without your brother, You
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: can live in this world without cousins. You cannot live
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: in this world without a friend. It's hard to get
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: through this thing without a friend. And friends are often
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: closer than even a brother. There are people who have
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: friends who are closer than their siblings. The Bible speaks
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: about this, so it's not something a theory of mine.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: It's a fact. Now. I'm not saying all your friends
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: are closer than all your brothers and sisters, because some
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: brothers and sister relationship is that jam type. I know
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: my daughters Brandon Carly can't have a friend closer than
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: they are to one another. There are different people in that.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: But I have friends who are closer to me than
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: my own two brothers. And one thing that I expect
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: of my friends is to be the same friend to
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: me that I am to you. And you know it's hard, man,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: when you have to learn lessons along the way. Because
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: somebody taught me something, a very valuable lesson, and I
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: said to my wife, and my wife doesn't like and
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: I've said it to a couple of employees and they
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: don't like what this young man taught me. But this
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: man told me one time, he said, loyalty has an
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: expiration date. And well, for those of us who are loyal,
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: it has no expiration date. But what he was actually
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: teaching me was that sometimes your loyalty to other people
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: is extended to people whose loyalty has expired towards you.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: So when they no longer have a place for you,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: a fix for you, a need for you, that loyalty
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: to you is gone. And so you have to learn
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: oftentimes and there were people who will come into your
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: life where their loyalty has an expiration date, and you
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: got to be prepared for that, because everybody ain't like you,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: that you that good solid person. It ain't like you.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: And you know, that's a tough thing to learn along
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: the way. But when you find these things out, you
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: gotta keep your head up and you gotta keep moving.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: And I know it's hard not to get in the
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: gutter when people that got into gutter with you. But
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: somehow you just gotta keep your head above the kind
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: like Michelle Obama says, sometimes you just you go when
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: they go low, you go high. You gotta take the
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: high road. Or I know that's hard. I know that's hard,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: and I grapple with that from time to time. But
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: at the end of the day, I keep asking God
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: to keep me honorable, to don't let me slide down
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: the same hill that I see other people sliding down.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: Friendship is essential to the soul. For those of you
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: out there, dude, have been friends to people who have
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: remained loyal. Congratulations for those of you that having to
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: learn to learn the lesson that loyalty has an expiration date.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: Keep your head up because that's still is true statement.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks today, very pointing and very directed.
