- 1:43Speaker 1: Janice Brian Howard. How you join, Dannis, I come on here.
- 1:53Speaker 1: She blew me away with that enthusiasm. I love it
- 1:59Speaker 1: about and I I appreciate that, and I'm telling something.
- 2:01Speaker 1: First of all, I want to tell you that I'm
- 2:03Speaker 1: a big fan. Um, You're an inspiration. Let me get
- 2:06Speaker 1: these self things out about Rushan McDonald in my relationship
- 2:10Speaker 1: from Afar with you. Um, you've inspired me. We had
- 2:14Speaker 1: lunch one time, you and I and Steve Harvest sat
- 2:16Speaker 1: down and you set me on the right path. I
- 2:24Speaker 1: gotta tell people this story. I got this other story
- 2:27Speaker 1: now because we was meeting and she was doing some
- 2:30Speaker 1: stuff with North Carolina Auntie and she's a trustee there.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Just love her, and and and and and you know,
- 2:40Speaker 1: I was. I was just selling me and Steve on her.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I was just telling about She said stop, She said stop,
- 2:44Speaker 1: excuse me. She said, you are a very talented young man,
- 2:49Speaker 1: but you're not saying anything. You know. And basically you
- 2:53Speaker 1: told me I was all hype and I need to
- 2:57Speaker 1: take my talent and put it in goals and move
- 3:00Speaker 1: forward with proper action. And nobody had ever told that
- 3:03Speaker 1: to me in my life. Nobody ever told that to
- 3:06Speaker 1: me because I was always smooth. I all knew how
- 3:08Speaker 1: to talk. But I ran into I want look to
- 3:12Speaker 1: the Holy Grail. This is the Holy Grail. Ran into
- 3:14Speaker 1: it and she said, stopped this nonsense. You're not fooling me.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Go back home and do your homework. And I did.
- 3:20Speaker 1: And because of that meeting, that's why Steve had the
- 3:23Speaker 1: best seller that sold over three billion. That's why Steve
- 3:26Speaker 1: got Family Feud. That's the number one game show in America.
- 3:30Speaker 1: That's why Steve Harvey now is the number one talent
- 3:32Speaker 1: in the world. Because of my lunch meeting with you
- 3:35Speaker 1: at Cape Mandolini that you remembered thank you. Wow, oh
- 3:40Speaker 1: wow wow wow. Well, you know what, we got a
- 3:43Speaker 1: lot of people to think you and I don't be
- 3:45Speaker 1: because it's it's paying it forward, paying it forward, or
- 3:48Speaker 1: as I say, you're paying a current. You know, some
- 3:50Speaker 1: of us are just catching up. We're not paying it
- 3:53Speaker 1: forward yet, you know. And and that's that, that's what
- 3:55Speaker 1: you did for me because because you know, when I
- 3:57Speaker 1: look at your resume and I look at your your
- 3:59Speaker 1: value system, I'll see your value system. Because I'm writing
- 4:03Speaker 1: a book now too, and one of the things in
- 4:05Speaker 1: my book I'm writing about, Jane's is about a Bala's life.
- 4:09Speaker 1: And I remember and and that's show I'm launch of
- 4:11Speaker 1: meeting with you. You talk about you love to cook,
- 4:14Speaker 1: you love to cook. Here's a lady running a big
- 4:17Speaker 1: in there being Dollar Company, thousands of employees, Fortune five hundred,
- 4:22Speaker 1: and you were just talking about your love to cook.
- 4:25Speaker 1: You love to have a good meal on the kitchen table.
- 4:28Speaker 1: You know, you that that that you're talking about when
- 4:31Speaker 1: you talk about the company, when you talk about the employees,
- 4:34Speaker 1: you're talking about family, and you're talking about a very
- 4:37Speaker 1: defined evolution. However, you're also talking about a little color
- 4:41Speaker 1: Bureo from Tabora and North Carolina, one of the eleven kids,
- 4:44Speaker 1: same mom, same dad, and some very you know, core
- 4:48Speaker 1: principles that we all grew up from it. The table
- 4:51Speaker 1: was the center of our home and Priam was the
- 4:53Speaker 1: center of our lives. So you know, am I not
- 4:56Speaker 1: gonna cook? Come on? You know? You know, but you
- 4:59Speaker 1: don't expect. I'm just telling you that. You know, I'm
- 5:01Speaker 1: a stranger, you know, and but you were willing to
- 5:04Speaker 1: share with me your values. And I think that that
- 5:07Speaker 1: openness is what makes you very special. Can I can
- 5:09Speaker 1: I just I know you used to the praise I'm
- 5:12Speaker 1: giving you, and I'm sure you you receive a ton
- 5:15Speaker 1: of awards, but you have a walking ability to shape
- 5:19Speaker 1: people's lives every day, and that's important for you to
- 5:22Speaker 1: hear that. And because of that, those values, they've shaped
- 5:25Speaker 1: me Rahand McDonald and making me the person I am today.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Just with a short thirty minute launch. You changed my life.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Oh wow, well, you know what, let us both be
- 5:36Speaker 1: grateful to that, and I am very grateful. Now let's
- 5:39Speaker 1: talk about how you became this mega self made female
- 5:44Speaker 1: billionaire that started in eighteen seventy six. How did that
- 5:47Speaker 1: get into your head that this is something you can
- 5:49Speaker 1: do as an entrepreneur. Let's first say that I never
- 5:54Speaker 1: saw it and and and different people take different paths.
- 5:57Speaker 1: This is not suggest that I prefer one path or
- 6:00Speaker 1: another for any particular person. We're talking about my path.
- 6:04Speaker 1: My path was always centered around the idea that I
- 6:07Speaker 1: would seek success through service. And um, I know that
- 6:11Speaker 1: lots of people teach their kids how to look to
- 6:14Speaker 1: certain incomes, or they send them to universities aspiring to
- 6:17Speaker 1: certain levels of income for their degrees. And we use
- 6:20Speaker 1: money as a measurement for many things, but it should
- 6:23Speaker 1: never be the measurement of success. Teresa died successful and penniless,
- 6:28Speaker 1: um gandhi. So we've got models of success where you
- 6:31Speaker 1: make a difference in the world and you provide for people,
- 6:34Speaker 1: and that doesn't always mean that there's that money indicator
- 6:37Speaker 1: for yourself. For me, success is the progressive realization of
- 6:41Speaker 1: a worthy ideal and as long as you're continuously growing.
- 6:45Speaker 1: You know, my husband loves to say, when you're green,
- 6:47Speaker 1: your grow. When you're right, you're rot. As long as
- 6:49Speaker 1: you continue to grow, I think their success in that. Now,
- 6:53Speaker 1: how did I choose the path that I'm in? Basically,
- 6:58Speaker 1: I came to California. I'm North Carolina and didn't find
- 7:02Speaker 1: a job that I thought was what I wanted and
- 7:06Speaker 1: decided to attempt from my brethren law did some work
- 7:11Speaker 1: in his office. He loved it when he came back
- 7:13Speaker 1: and he said, Wow, you've got a talent. You really
- 7:15Speaker 1: should be doing this for a living. There was not
- 7:17Speaker 1: a three year business plan when I in front of me.
- 7:21Speaker 1: When I started my business, there was a plan to
- 7:24Speaker 1: be of service to people. And he utilized what I
- 7:27Speaker 1: did well and he helped me to find that. That's amazing.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Now that happened in seventy six. That's when you work
- 7:35Speaker 1: at a tipperary secretary job with your brother in law,
- 7:37Speaker 1: and then that's when I started my company. That's when
- 7:40Speaker 1: you started your company. He was your first customer. He
- 7:44Speaker 1: was one first customer, and he was one of the
- 7:45Speaker 1: most significant ones for me. And I'll tell you why.
- 7:48Speaker 1: He didn't let all. He was a brother in law,
- 7:50Speaker 1: so he would always tell me, ain't no blood in
- 7:52Speaker 1: my game. The bood. He was a very very strict guy. Uh.
- 7:58Speaker 1: But you know, I learned a lot from a lot
- 8:00Speaker 1: of people when I came out to California. So much
- 8:03Speaker 1: of who I am was um was taught me and
- 8:07Speaker 1: and and fielled my desire from North Carolina. But come
- 8:10Speaker 1: into California taught me a lot. I mean, you think
- 8:12Speaker 1: about this rashan here. I am this little nat headed
- 8:15Speaker 1: girl out of talk where in North Carolina, and I
- 8:17Speaker 1: come to California, where everybody is gorgeous, and everybody carries
- 8:21Speaker 1: a purse with somebody else's name on it. Back in
- 8:25Speaker 1: the day, nobody wore panty hos. Some of your listeners
- 8:28Speaker 1: probably don't even know what panty's are. Totally freeing environment
- 8:37Speaker 1: with streets lined with palm trees, and so basically I'm
- 8:40Speaker 1: describing a dubt out of water. People would say a
- 8:44Speaker 1: fish out of water, right. But but with the help
- 8:47Speaker 1: of my sister and and and a great foundation, I
- 8:50Speaker 1: learned to swim. And I think everybody can do that
- 8:53Speaker 1: for themselves. You know, two different degrees. I think the
- 8:55Speaker 1: troubled people get into Rashaan is when you look at
- 8:58Speaker 1: people's success and you identify what success means to you
- 9:02Speaker 1: by some of the physical things they have instead of
- 9:05Speaker 1: some of the physical things they do. I love it.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I love to remind anyone in my presence that success,
- 9:13Speaker 1: for me, it's not a noun, it's a verb. Let's
- 9:17Speaker 1: talk about that. That the whole thing of success. Because
- 9:19Speaker 1: this is one of the major reasons why you're on
- 9:21Speaker 1: the show. Is that Earl Nightingale. A lot of people
- 9:26Speaker 1: if that name there's a limit. Give a little background
- 9:28Speaker 1: about this gentleman. I call him the father of motivational speaking,
- 9:32Speaker 1: because at the age of thirty five, he wrote a
- 9:36Speaker 1: speech for some salesman. He just wrote it for them.
- 9:39Speaker 1: It was called He named it the Strangest Secret, and
- 9:42Speaker 1: he later played for the salesman. When he came back,
- 9:44Speaker 1: they all wanted to get a copy of it. Well,
- 9:47Speaker 1: he didn't have a copy, just created for them to
- 9:49Speaker 1: hear because he was out of the room when it
- 9:51Speaker 1: was playing. Well, he went to Columbia Records. They recorded
- 9:55Speaker 1: in the eighteen fifty six. Now get this, he's thirty
- 9:57Speaker 1: five and eighteen fifty six. It's sold over a million copies.
- 10:01Speaker 1: It went gold led him to a life of a millionaire.
- 10:04Speaker 1: The reason Strangest Secret was evolved because he grew up
- 10:07Speaker 1: a poor person and he could understand why some people
- 10:10Speaker 1: had money and other people didn't did not have money.
- 10:14Speaker 1: So he researched and he became an educated man. And
- 10:17Speaker 1: that's how The Strangers Secret evolved. And you got to
- 10:20Speaker 1: read it, So tell us your relationship with that, because
- 10:22Speaker 1: that's what we're gonna be talking about from now on
- 10:24Speaker 1: to the next break, because that's an amazing you know,
- 10:28Speaker 1: when you heard it for the first time, he was like,
- 10:30Speaker 1: I do that already, I do that. And but here's
- 10:33Speaker 1: what I got to tell you, Rashawn. First of all,
- 10:36Speaker 1: when I read The Strangest Secrets, he immediately became one
- 10:39Speaker 1: of my favorite books. And it's such a tiny book.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Most people, that's a pamphlet. However, what's exciting for me
- 10:48Speaker 1: is that I was able to take those very well
- 10:50Speaker 1: de prompt defined thoughts and principles and apply them in
- 10:54Speaker 1: a real way in my life. And I will tell
- 10:57Speaker 1: you it was so exciting and so fundamental for me
- 11:00Speaker 1: to keep using this book all these years. Since nineteen
- 11:03Speaker 1: seventy eight, I've never not had a copy of that
- 11:06Speaker 1: book with me. However, I thought about it. I speak
- 11:10Speaker 1: at a lot of universities and lots of young people
- 11:12Speaker 1: run up to me and asked me, and I refer
- 11:15Speaker 1: them to the book, and then I thought about it.
- 11:17Speaker 1: You know, the book is really number one. It was
- 11:19Speaker 1: originally written and Earl Nightingale's audio version was written towards
- 11:24Speaker 1: a time in our history when you were speaking to men,
- 11:27Speaker 1: when you were speaking about types of success that he described,
- 11:30Speaker 1: and his and his difference of thoughts on how to
- 11:34Speaker 1: achieve it. So I reached out to Vic Knit of
- 11:37Speaker 1: Nightingale Knit and said, I want to refresh these teachings.
- 11:42Speaker 1: I don't want to make them highly inclusive, not just
- 11:45Speaker 1: of gender, but of age culture wherever you are, and
- 11:48Speaker 1: I want to be able to produce them in audio
- 11:51Speaker 1: form and video form. Vic Knan is one of the
- 11:55Speaker 1: greatest guys alive. He immediately said, yes, we went through
- 12:00Speaker 1: no long legal wrangle. We have read on what we
- 12:03Speaker 1: would do, and now I got the strangest secret out
- 12:07Speaker 1: on because I had I had, I have it out.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Now I'm so excited to tell you that your your
- 12:13Speaker 1: folks can get it by going to Nightingale Nightingale dot
- 12:17Speaker 1: com if they want to, or they can look it
- 12:20Speaker 1: up on audiobook and audible, and it's available on video
- 12:25Speaker 1: segments on YouTube and Facebook. We put it out in
- 12:28Speaker 1: every way that we can so that everyone can enjoy it,
- 12:32Speaker 1: regardless of where they are coming from, as long as
- 12:35Speaker 1: they want to be going somewhere defined. And I really
- 12:38Speaker 1: want the people to understand how valuable I'm gonna give
- 12:40Speaker 1: it before we get out of this break. I want
- 12:42Speaker 1: to give it up like a couple of jewels out
- 12:44Speaker 1: that book, like here's the five steps, and people shore
- 12:46Speaker 1: right down where we're talking about right now five steps,
- 12:49Speaker 1: because here they are. Number one, you will become what
- 12:51Speaker 1: you think about. You will come what you think about.
- 12:55Speaker 1: If you if you think you're losing, you'll be a loser.
- 12:57Speaker 1: You think you could be a doctor. You will do
- 12:59Speaker 1: the work to be a imagination which number two, which
- 13:02Speaker 1: means let your mind sore, don't stop yourself, don't stop yourself,
- 13:06Speaker 1: don't doubt yourself. Number three and and you know, Rashawn,
- 13:09Speaker 1: I also say you got to play the music that
- 13:11Speaker 1: takes you on where you want to go. When I
- 13:13Speaker 1: read about imagination, I knew it was fear for me
- 13:17Speaker 1: because my favorite song in all the world is imagined
- 13:20Speaker 1: by John Lennon, Cole Girl artist artists as well. But
- 13:27Speaker 1: but when you it just all flows together once you
- 13:30Speaker 1: get in that mindset. But go ahere you wanted to
- 13:32Speaker 1: get three, four and five and three was you can
- 13:35Speaker 1: stop me because it's your show. Now, this's your show
- 13:37Speaker 1: because I brought you on here because you have success.
- 13:39Speaker 1: See the thing about it, Jannis, that I want everybody
- 13:42Speaker 1: understands that there's a lot of people write motivational books
- 13:45Speaker 1: that they have no success. They're just talking hype. So
- 13:48Speaker 1: you're not hype. You're the real deal. And so to
- 13:50Speaker 1: have you on the show telling people that's why I
- 13:52Speaker 1: want them to hear, why they should why they should
- 13:55Speaker 1: goet the audiobook, audible books. She should go to YouTube
- 13:58Speaker 1: to pick up those pamphlets because you were telling the truth,
- 14:01Speaker 1: your evidence. Like you said, I've had this is seventy eight,
- 14:03Speaker 1: a very tainy pamphlet made me a self made billionaire female.
- 14:09Speaker 1: We'll be back with more because I would tell you something.
- 14:11Speaker 1: She is on a roll. Now. If you want to
- 14:14Speaker 1: know how to be famous, you want to know how

- 17:54Speaker 1: that come along with having companies that are driven in
- 17:57Speaker 1: a very technological era. So that meant so what I like,
- 18:01Speaker 1: this is what I hear. You're not a person who
- 18:04Speaker 1: is afraid of change. Well, we innovate change. And I'll
- 18:08Speaker 1: tell you when I realized that as a minority owned
- 18:12Speaker 1: company and a woman owned company, I was competing against
- 18:15Speaker 1: some very major publicly held enterprises. UH, for clients, I
- 18:21Speaker 1: had to do something different. I had to meet the
- 18:24Speaker 1: same price points. I had to meet the same service
- 18:27Speaker 1: level agreements we call them as l a's, and I
- 18:30Speaker 1: was doing it for less, oftentimes less than um five
- 18:34Speaker 1: percent of the total spend. So you've got to figure
- 18:37Speaker 1: out whether you're gonna stay in or whether you're gonna,
- 18:40Speaker 1: you know, leave. I decided to stay, but I had
- 18:43Speaker 1: to be smart to stay. And that's that was really
- 18:46Speaker 1: what founded the beginning about the one and our step
- 18:50Speaker 1: into creating technologies that helped but always always that helped
- 18:55Speaker 1: the worker to have the best experience. That's really important.
- 18:58Speaker 1: So so now I've said the basis of who you are,
- 19:01Speaker 1: tell us about your ABC's for success. Well, I'm excited
- 19:07Speaker 1: to tell you about Marashan. I'll tell you why, because
- 19:10Speaker 1: wherever I'm talking to Girl Scout Truths in North Carolina
- 19:13Speaker 1: or universities in California, the ABC's applied for anybody who
- 19:18Speaker 1: really wants to have a successful life. First, let me
- 19:20Speaker 1: tell you what I can't teach you. The A b
- 19:22Speaker 1: c s are what I can teach you what I
- 19:24Speaker 1: can There are five things that nobody can teach anybody,
- 19:27Speaker 1: And I hope you take note of these, Okay, because
- 19:30Speaker 1: we talked about two of them at that lunch years
- 19:32Speaker 1: ago at Cape Mental. I think I cannot teach his experience.
- 19:38Speaker 1: The second thing I cannot teach his common sense. Now
- 19:42Speaker 1: a lot of people know common sense in that common anymore, okay.
- 19:46Speaker 1: The third thing I cannot teach is confidence. When you
- 19:50Speaker 1: marry experience to common sense, you gain confidence. The fourth
- 19:56Speaker 1: thing I cannot teach is anything that you don't want
- 19:59Speaker 1: to learn. And the fifth thing I can't teach is
- 20:02Speaker 1: anything at all if you already know it all. So
- 20:06Speaker 1: I'm going to teach you my A b C s
- 20:08Speaker 1: on the foundation of you understanding what I won't teach you.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Those are things you have to use these A, B
- 20:13Speaker 1: C s to teach yourself. And the A is to
- 20:16Speaker 1: ask the right questions, then listen, listen, listen for the
- 20:22Speaker 1: right answers, Rishawn. So often people are so busy with
- 20:26Speaker 1: their next question, they're not hearing the conversation, and they're
- 20:30Speaker 1: so full of questions that they don't find that quiet
- 20:33Speaker 1: time to listen for the answer. Whether you're biblically based
- 20:37Speaker 1: or whether you are an evolutionist, you know that listening
- 20:42Speaker 1: is a large part of living life well and living
- 20:45Speaker 1: life and cooperation with all the things you wish to achieve.
- 20:48Speaker 1: And listening also helps you to understand how to be
- 20:51Speaker 1: a better giver. So although that A is about asking,
- 20:55Speaker 1: is also about listening for that right answer. And then
- 20:59Speaker 1: the B is about being. Be where you say you'll be,
- 21:03Speaker 1: when you say you'll be, and most importantly, how you
- 21:06Speaker 1: say you'll be. You know, we've all got these devices
- 21:09Speaker 1: on our cell phones, I pass cars that can tell
- 21:13Speaker 1: us what time we're gonna get there, which direction to go. Basically,
- 21:17Speaker 1: they can tell us when we're gonna show up, but
- 21:19Speaker 1: they can't tell us how to show up. We have
- 21:22Speaker 1: to do that for ourselves, and so it's important that
- 21:25Speaker 1: you instill these A, B C's as a lesson path
- 21:28Speaker 1: in the order that I give them, because it's only
- 21:31Speaker 1: after the listening to asking, the listening to asking the listening,
- 21:35Speaker 1: that you're able to be how you say you're going
- 21:38Speaker 1: to be, So be where you say you'll be, when
- 21:41Speaker 1: you say you'll be how you say you'll be. And
- 21:44Speaker 1: then that C. That C is about circular communication. Sending
- 21:49Speaker 1: a tweet, sending a text. I mean, that's not communication.
- 21:55Speaker 1: It can be marketing, it can be advertising. It's the
- 21:58Speaker 1: full circle of conversation that moves you towards success. And
- 22:04Speaker 1: many people are very competent to I mean, when we
- 22:08Speaker 1: interview people in our offices today, Rashan, do you know
- 22:11Speaker 1: over six or five of the people we interview who
- 22:13Speaker 1: are under thirty five years of age? There about age
- 22:17Speaker 1: is not something we ask um have their own website,
- 22:21Speaker 1: so everybody is invested in the idea that they have
- 22:23Speaker 1: a brand. But it's important for people I shouldn't say,
- 22:26Speaker 1: but my daughter said when you say but, that means
- 22:28Speaker 1: everything you just said is no longer truth. But it's
- 22:32Speaker 1: important Rashan, that we understand that branding isn't just about
- 22:37Speaker 1: what we want people to see is how we communicate
- 22:42Speaker 1: with the people who actually see it. Does that make
- 22:45Speaker 1: sense for you? Absolutely make sense to me because of
- 22:48Speaker 1: the fact that that's what I'm telling you. You're telling
- 22:50Speaker 1: the truth. You're telling you can't, like I said, you
- 22:52Speaker 1: can't make a turtal horse, Okay, you have to be
- 22:55Speaker 1: like you said. Like you said earlier, is the music
- 22:58Speaker 1: that there? Is it planning the right music for you
- 23:00Speaker 1: to succeed in? Is it the right lane, the right opportunity.
- 23:03Speaker 1: But most importantly people, as I would tell people, don't
- 23:07Speaker 1: look at yourself as an employee as just an employee.
- 23:10Speaker 1: You are a brand. And you said right there, people
- 23:12Speaker 1: got website, I said, when you have social media, you
- 23:15Speaker 1: become a brand. If you log onto Facebook or Twitter
- 23:18Speaker 1: or Instagram, you are a brand because suddenly you're telling
- 23:20Speaker 1: people you need to start acting like that and start
- 23:23Speaker 1: representing yourself in that in that manner, and that's in pant.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Here's the thing. When you log on to social media,
- 23:29Speaker 1: you're longing on without a light as all you need
- 23:31Speaker 1: is is that set and um. But there's danger and
- 23:36Speaker 1: opportunity in that. You know, every opportunity has a danger
- 23:40Speaker 1: attached to it. You don't get to take it back.
- 23:42Speaker 1: You've got to be very thoughtful when people come into
- 23:45Speaker 1: our offices for work, when clients want to us to
- 23:48Speaker 1: represent them. It doesn't matter which side of the work
- 23:51Speaker 1: equation we're on. That brand matter. There are there are
- 23:55Speaker 1: young folks today who come into our officers who won't
- 23:58Speaker 1: work in certain companies because they don't like values that
- 24:01Speaker 1: the company's exhibit. They're unhappy about something they saw in
- 24:04Speaker 1: the news. Brand is Brand is King, And I'll tell
- 24:08Speaker 1: you communication is Queen. I love it. I love it.
- 24:12Speaker 1: You know, I'm doing a series. I'm looking at what
- 24:14Speaker 1: you're doing now. Is the ABC is then a book
- 24:17Speaker 1: form on the audio form, the ABC of Success Audio.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I haven't put it on. Come on you mad now.
- 24:25Speaker 1: You know I've been teaching it all around the world.
- 24:28Speaker 1: You taught me, you taught me. I'm living proof it works.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I'm living y'all. I'm living proof it works. If you listen,
- 24:37Speaker 1: talked about these things. We're talking about these things, and
- 24:42Speaker 1: then the thing about it was that I didn't ask
- 24:43Speaker 1: what you talked. And that's what I'm saying. That's about
- 24:45Speaker 1: giving back, that's about breaking down to just anybody. Now,
- 24:49Speaker 1: there are certain paces where you are speaking. I want
- 24:51Speaker 1: to bring out like March nine, you have to solve
- 24:53Speaker 1: my southwest correct and then all right, I'm head Oh
- 24:58Speaker 1: my goodness, I'm headed to New Jersey with several clients
- 25:01Speaker 1: and then I'll be headed to Austin. Yes I will.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Now do you have a website where they can go
- 25:06Speaker 1: right now? Because I want to get this information now
- 25:08Speaker 1: because you're You're so dynamic and people should not only
- 25:11Speaker 1: hear you, but see you in person and walk up
- 25:14Speaker 1: and realize you just a regular person. And I kid
- 25:16Speaker 1: you not, uh she is. She is the real deal.
- 25:20Speaker 1: She she speaks and she articulates success. But she's also
- 25:24Speaker 1: you can eat a hot dog and a hamburg with
- 25:26Speaker 1: some fries with her and you will not you go,
- 25:29Speaker 1: It's the same person I'm talking to. Come. You know
- 25:32Speaker 1: I'm talking about she SE's the real deal and that
- 25:34Speaker 1: that's why I love about now. Now the thing about
- 25:37Speaker 1: it when I talk about success with you, you you know,
- 25:40Speaker 1: are there anything that when? When? Because everybody wants to
- 25:43Speaker 1: be successful that what Nightingale talks about. You know, everybody
- 25:46Speaker 1: sits down they want to be success when the version
- 25:50Speaker 1: of Nightingale and the version you did, like I know
- 25:52Speaker 1: you had and Nelson Mandela, you add some quotes from
- 25:55Speaker 1: Mary Kay, how did you reshape it so we can
- 25:58Speaker 1: understand and appreciate the full value of what he was
- 26:02Speaker 1: doing in the before we leave? Well, the bottom line
- 26:06Speaker 1: is the truth is did you hear what I said?
- 26:10Speaker 1: The truth is how we hear. Truth oftentimes is more
- 26:16Speaker 1: shaped by its framing than its content, And so it
- 26:20Speaker 1: was important for me to make sure that we gave
- 26:23Speaker 1: relevant notices to people who people today can relate to,
- 26:29Speaker 1: to the audience I want to reach, and to make
- 26:32Speaker 1: sure that we're speaking to all genders. You know, it's
- 26:35Speaker 1: really important to me that we're able to be inclusive
- 26:38Speaker 1: in how we're teaching, because if we're messaging to one
- 26:42Speaker 1: part of a conversation that can be so helpful to
- 26:45Speaker 1: so many, then we lose the opportunity of the gift
- 26:49Speaker 1: that we're really giving. And so for me, it became
- 26:51Speaker 1: important to just be inclusive to everyone I want to
- 26:55Speaker 1: talk with. And if folks want to know, you know,
- 26:58Speaker 1: what's up, they can they can go to my website
- 27:00Speaker 1: at jph dot com and they can follow me at
- 27:04Speaker 1: Bryant j Bryant hall Roy. I'm really happy for them
