- 0:15Speaker 1: like the million bucks things and the stubs. Not me thrugh,
- 0:20Speaker 1: good it. Steve listening to mother, Please, I don't join
- 0:50Speaker 1: join you turn hur you you gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn you got to turn them out to
- 1:45Speaker 1: turn turn the water the water go. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your thing. Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody,
- 2:05Speaker 1: y'all listening to the voice, come on dig me now
- 2:08Speaker 1: wanting only Steve Harvey man old man got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: I do. God so big to me, man, I just
- 2:15Speaker 1: have to tell you about it. I can't help it.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It's rather obvious to me how big, how good God is.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He's absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain. He owned one,
- 2:29Speaker 1: he'd be clowning, he'd be just showing out. Man. I'm
- 2:34Speaker 1: just over here, just on receiving it. You know, if
- 2:38Speaker 1: you're out there, start your mission today, Start your mission today?
- 2:45Speaker 1: What are you waiting for? Why do we as people
- 2:50Speaker 1: delay what we want or delay the process to begin
- 2:59Speaker 1: what we want? Our hopes, our dreams, our desires. Why
- 3:03Speaker 1: won't you start your mission today? Why don't we all
- 3:07Speaker 1: decide together that just individually. Look, you're listening. You got
- 3:14Speaker 1: something that you've been dreaming about. You got an ambition
- 3:17Speaker 1: of yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got goals you
- 3:20Speaker 1: haven't accomplished yet. Everybody has them. Everybody's got them. Everybody's
- 3:25Speaker 1: got something that's that's on the table that they haven't
- 3:29Speaker 1: yet attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start your
- 3:32Speaker 1: mission today? Stop the procrastination. Now. The procrastination is only
- 3:38Speaker 1: hurting you yourself. If you got a goal or aspiration,
- 3:43Speaker 1: a dream and you fall off track momentarily, you can
- 3:47Speaker 1: get back to that because God knows where you're left off. Now.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You may have to accomplish a few more things since
- 3:54Speaker 1: you stop for a long period of time, but God
- 3:56Speaker 1: know where you left off. You can get back on track.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I look, man, this dream of being on TV since
- 4:02Speaker 1: I was a kid, and it got off track. Now
- 4:05Speaker 1: it got off track. I just kept it as one
- 4:08Speaker 1: of the dreams. And in some real dog moments when
- 4:11Speaker 1: it looked like it wasn't gonna happen, all I was
- 4:15Speaker 1: hanging on too was just the hope that one day
- 4:17Speaker 1: it could. But that's what faith is really about Faith
- 4:21Speaker 1: is the belief in things that you cannot see. But
- 4:25Speaker 1: faith gives you the confidence to keep hoping. Man, Sometimes
- 4:29Speaker 1: it just keep hope alive. Sometimes, you heard Jesse Jackson said,
- 4:33Speaker 1: just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man, it's just the hope.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I was hanging on the hope. And I'm talking about
- 4:41Speaker 1: when it got real ugly and funky out there for me,
- 4:44Speaker 1: when it looked like I wasn't gonna ever make it,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and all of the facts was in and everything pointed
- 4:51Speaker 1: in the direction you're not gonna make it. You didn't
- 4:53Speaker 1: really messed up this time. Then I sat there and
- 4:57Speaker 1: I just hung on to the hope. But man, that's
- 5:01Speaker 1: what I'm saying. If you got a dream on aspiration
- 5:04Speaker 1: of vision or something, when you fall off track and
- 5:08Speaker 1: you want to go get back in line, God holds
- 5:11Speaker 1: your place. See he held on to that fum me.
- 5:14Speaker 1: He knew I was off tracking how the line, but
- 5:17Speaker 1: he said, okay, here's where we stopped. You want to
- 5:19Speaker 1: be on TV that when you get it together and
- 5:21Speaker 1: you quit tripping and you come in your turn to me,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna hold your place, put you back in line.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Then we're gonna finish the journey that took me a
- 5:28Speaker 1: lot longer to get here than I wanted to. But
- 5:31Speaker 1: then it was necessary because I needed all of the
- 5:33Speaker 1: mishaps to happen to me along the way. So when
- 5:36Speaker 1: I got on the radio one day, which I did
- 5:38Speaker 1: not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.
- 5:41Speaker 1: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
- 5:43Speaker 1: this radio show that I didn't see coming. Na, I
- 5:46Speaker 1: have stories to tell, I got experiences to share, and
- 5:51Speaker 1: I can tell you about me better than I can
- 5:53Speaker 1: tell you about anybody. And I've been through enough where
- 5:57Speaker 1: it's relatable, where enough people can go O, man, that
- 6:00Speaker 1: happened to me, appreciate you saying that that's what it
- 6:03Speaker 1: was for. See, I get it now. See at the time,
- 6:05Speaker 1: though I didn't like what was happening to me. At
- 6:09Speaker 1: the time, I was really in total disagreement with God
- 6:12Speaker 1: on a lot of stuff he was pulling off on me,
- 6:14Speaker 1: But in essence I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 6:18Speaker 1: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
- 6:20Speaker 1: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 6:25Speaker 1: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
- 6:30Speaker 1: there and died wrong. He forgave me, he said, because, man,
- 6:34Speaker 1: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
- 6:38Speaker 1: for you that it is going to be far and above.
- 6:41Speaker 1: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
- 6:45Speaker 1: I did. I just got sick of me, good and
- 6:49Speaker 1: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And then God started working and here I am today.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Now see threw it me yet? Nope? Have I arrived jet? Nope?
- 7:01Speaker 1: But guess what the journey is cool? You know. It's
- 7:05Speaker 1: like I was talking to this young brother the other
- 7:07Speaker 1: day about comedy and he's really good stand up. You know,
- 7:11Speaker 1: this young dude is really good. He said, Man, what
- 7:14Speaker 1: is this I feel every night before I go on stage.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. I just want it
- 7:20Speaker 1: off me, I said, sir, listen to me, you young dude.
- 7:24Speaker 1: This thing that climbs on my back every night before
- 7:28Speaker 1: I go on stage. I don't know what it is.
- 7:30Speaker 1: It's got something to do with pressure, It's got something
- 7:33Speaker 1: to do with anticipation. It's got a whole lot to
- 7:36Speaker 1: do with the fear of falling. He said, What you
- 7:39Speaker 1: mean by that? I said, every night I walk out
- 7:41Speaker 1: on stage, it's like I'm about to go and step
- 7:44Speaker 1: off a cliff. I said, it's a sickening feeling. He said, man,
- 7:48Speaker 1: but you do so well. I said, that's because the
- 7:50Speaker 1: parachute opens. I say, but I want you to understand something.
- 7:54Speaker 1: When I first walk out there, it's just stepping off
- 7:57Speaker 1: the cliff. Now these jokes provide a parachute which slows
- 8:03Speaker 1: my descent when I jump off the cliff, and I
- 8:06Speaker 1: turned it into a glide. And then I take the
- 8:08Speaker 1: audience this way and I swing them back over that way.
- 8:12Speaker 1: We might swing out to the Colorado Rockies. We may
- 8:15Speaker 1: go down to Miami with this joke. We may take
- 8:18Speaker 1: it on out to LA and I just swing back
- 8:20Speaker 1: and forth till I land softly. The crowd cheers. The
- 8:24Speaker 1: night is over with, I said, but it's been too
- 8:26Speaker 1: many nights though. When I walked off that cliff and
- 8:29Speaker 1: I pulled the cord in, the parachute didn't open. I said.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Now I'm just free falling out there for thirty minutes.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Ain't no jokes working. Ain't the parachute didn't open. I said,
- 8:39Speaker 1: So see that's what it's like for me. And then
- 8:42Speaker 1: you know what I found out. If you don't walked
- 8:44Speaker 1: off the cliff in life, and you ain't got no
- 8:47Speaker 1: God in your life. It's like not having a parachute.
- 8:51Speaker 1: You step off the cliff and you just free falling.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Now see we all Now that fall gets you closer
- 8:58Speaker 1: to the grave, right, see all head into the grave
- 9:01Speaker 1: from the moment we're born. But the cool thing about
- 9:03Speaker 1: a relationship with God is when you step off the
- 9:06Speaker 1: cliff and you got God here a parachute. You're still
- 9:10Speaker 1: going down, but it's a nice ride, and God just
- 9:13Speaker 1: helps your your descent appear more like a rise and
- 9:17Speaker 1: then more like a euphoric fall. Instead of not having
- 9:21Speaker 1: no God in your life and you just walking off
- 9:24Speaker 1: that cliff every day, free falling. Ain't got no core,
- 9:27Speaker 1: You steady pulling, you houling the whole way because you've
- 9:31Speaker 1: messed around with yourself, and ain't let God come into
- 9:34Speaker 1: your life and provide a parachute for you. I would
- 9:37Speaker 1: rather have a parachute since I got to jump every day,
- 9:41Speaker 1: than to not have one. God has been like a
- 9:44Speaker 1: parachute from me. Ask me why where that came from?
- 9:49Speaker 1: I can't tell you, But like I always say, most
- 9:51Speaker 1: good things that happened in my life that I can't explain.
- 9:55Speaker 1: It's usually him. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, Boys and girls,
- 10:05Speaker 1: The Steve Harvey Morning Show has begun. I will remind
- 10:09Speaker 1: you today that our show is based on nothing but
- 10:14Speaker 1: the tubes, the three tudes of life. Gratitude. Start your
- 10:20Speaker 1: day with gratitude. Thank him for all that he has done,
- 10:24Speaker 1: all he has been, all you have overcome, all he
- 10:28Speaker 1: has done for you, and all he is about to
- 10:31Speaker 1: do that will in turn have a direct reflection of
- 10:36Speaker 1: your attitude. It will be brighter and better for the
- 10:40Speaker 1: remainder of the day. And once your attitude is locked
- 10:44Speaker 1: in because of your gratitude, it is in direct correlation
- 10:50Speaker 1: to your altitude. Flying high is the way I choose
- 10:55Speaker 1: to go. Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the Steve Harvey
- 10:58Speaker 1: Morning Show. Junior, y oh, excuse me, excuse me. Shirley
- 11:02Speaker 1: Strawberry calling for real Mouth of the South Junior and
- 11:06Speaker 1: the legend of Nephew Tommy. What can I do for
- 11:09Speaker 1: you to day? Junior? Yeah, okay, let's talk about this.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Start hitting the reset, but start over. A lot of
- 11:15Speaker 1: people got a bad attitude about starting over because it
- 11:18Speaker 1: didn't go right the first time. How many times have
- 11:20Speaker 1: you had to start over in your sixty five years
- 11:23Speaker 1: on earth just trying to get it right. Well, first
- 11:27Speaker 1: of all, I don't look at it as starting over,
- 11:30Speaker 1: because life is a continual process. And that's the beginning
- 11:34Speaker 1: of having the wrong mindset when people go, I got
- 11:38Speaker 1: to start all over. And the reason people say we
- 11:42Speaker 1: have to start over because they've attempted something that has failed,
- 11:47Speaker 1: and so that makes them feel like, oh lord, woe
- 11:50Speaker 1: is me, I got to start over? Old, woe is me?
- 11:53Speaker 1: I got to go back to the drawing board. Well,
- 11:56Speaker 1: and that's just what actually happens. Is life is a
- 11:59Speaker 1: continue because I don't care what you failed that or
- 12:03Speaker 1: what didn't go as planned. The clock is still ticking.
- 12:09Speaker 1: You are now a little older. You should now because
- 12:12Speaker 1: of this failure and mishap, be a little bit wiser.
- 12:16Speaker 1: You become a little bit more experienced, and now you've
- 12:20Speaker 1: learned a valuable lesson that was obviously needed on your journey.
- 12:24Speaker 1: So it's not starting over. I call it picking up
- 12:28Speaker 1: while I left off, and I am continuing my journey. Now,
- 12:33Speaker 1: this continuation might have to head in another direction. I
- 12:37Speaker 1: might have to make a left because I should have
- 12:39Speaker 1: made it right back now. Yeah, but now I need
- 12:44Speaker 1: to pay attention and now I know, okay, I'm back
- 12:47Speaker 1: in this fucking road. Yeah, I'm gonna go left because
- 12:51Speaker 1: I went right last time. Yeah, and now we to
- 12:54Speaker 1: continue on the journey. If you look at it like that,
- 12:56Speaker 1: or to help you, and then I think that's a
- 12:59Speaker 1: part of the ass. But then sometimes starting over is good.
- 13:05Speaker 1: And so instead of say you're starting over, how about
- 13:08Speaker 1: looking at it like this. I got a fresh start,
- 13:12Speaker 1: I got a new set of cards, I got a
- 13:15Speaker 1: new hand. Whoa, I'm gonna play this one today, law
- 13:20Speaker 1: and gonna get great. Yeah, that's how you look at it, Julius,
- 13:23Speaker 1: how you look at it? Man, come on for it.
- 13:27Speaker 1: We starting were starting fresh. I got head. Yeah, he
- 13:33Speaker 1: or she is gold? Back out? All right, thank you guys.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is church complaints with Pastor Motown
- 13:42Speaker 1: and Deacon deaf Jam right after this. You're listening, all right, guys,
- 13:49Speaker 1: It is that time. It is Monday. It is time
- 13:52Speaker 1: for church complaints with Pastor Motown and Deacon deaf Jam.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Oh gracious, we gather in a most pro prithius way
- 14:11Speaker 1: as we admarnish the deities of our arbitrary reactions and notations.
- 14:25Speaker 1: We vicariously vicarious pontificate. Oh low, as we non chaloti
- 14:43Speaker 1: gallop through a life of iniquity, age and age, and
- 14:54Speaker 1: and and vivaciousness. We ask you, though, fall, simplify this
- 15:03Speaker 1: journey on wood, skywardly and heavenutiously. Oh come on, alright, alright, Well,
- 15:26Speaker 1: here's a situation that's going on this morning past the eye.
- 15:30Speaker 1: School started today, and sister Madison call this morning. Her
- 15:35Speaker 1: son Ladarius refuses to get in the car because he
- 15:39Speaker 1: don't like how his mama car looked. He's asking where
- 15:43Speaker 1: you come and pick Ladarius up and drop him off
- 15:46Speaker 1: at school this morning. We see when we talk about
- 15:52Speaker 1: deflecting the issue, Yeah, Lordarius is deflecting the issue. Yes
- 16:00Speaker 1: he It ain't his mama car he concerned with. It's
- 16:05Speaker 1: the act that Ladarius is twelve years old. Yeah, and
- 16:11Speaker 1: it is having to repeat the fourth grade of gear. Whoa,
- 16:16Speaker 1: that's the real issue, lie, Darius. It ain't got nothing
- 16:20Speaker 1: to do with your mama car. You need to pass
- 16:24Speaker 1: the fourth grade. Yes, I know the multiplications. It's throwing
- 16:30Speaker 1: you a bit. Yeah, please buck with don because you've
- 16:37Speaker 1: thrown the fourth grade. Since it's safe to say you're
- 16:42Speaker 1: not going to pick him up and taking the school.
- 16:44Speaker 1: That's that's here. What Ladarius need to understand. I can't
- 16:49Speaker 1: drop off a board that's done the fourth grade, fourth
- 16:52Speaker 1: hunt four. That's what I can't do. That's too embarrassing
- 16:59Speaker 1: for you. All right, here's another situation, Pasted. Our members
- 17:04Speaker 1: are concerned about you getting robbed doing servants. Please talk
- 17:08Speaker 1: to Bobby Jenkins. You know he's an ex marine. He
- 17:12Speaker 1: didn't put eight hand garnades throughout the church. You're gonna
- 17:15Speaker 1: have to talk to this boy. He's losing control. Well,
- 17:20Speaker 1: I'm perfectly comfortable with the acreage because he was. He
- 17:25Speaker 1: was a bomb specialist with the Marines. Then you, the
- 17:29Speaker 1: lad ain't the animal running up in here robbing me.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you that right now, because we the
- 17:34Speaker 1: booby trapped everything around. Have you noticed I moved the
- 17:40Speaker 1: senior choir off the left if you loved them up
- 17:44Speaker 1: in the balcony? Yeah? And did you notice that I
- 17:48Speaker 1: took the mother's Guild that sits on the right and
- 17:51Speaker 1: I put them back on five rolls back and y'all
- 17:57Speaker 1: stopped all the fine women from sitting on the front row.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Remember that you did put all that out. Yeah, because
- 18:05Speaker 1: if you step your foot up here about this offering
- 18:07Speaker 1: table again, we got some for you. As the hand
- 18:13Speaker 1: garnades will remain in the church. I stay will here
- 18:18Speaker 1: cut down on some of that extra shouting that all
- 18:24Speaker 1: the hard stopping ms round set something often in the
- 18:29Speaker 1: back here has another issue. Pass. I don't know if
- 18:35Speaker 1: this is gonna fly not. There is a new ministry
- 18:38Speaker 1: that has developed, the the Hot Flash Ministry is tasking
- 18:43Speaker 1: can we have the app on fifty doing Sunday services?
- 18:47Speaker 1: They are asking for fifty degrees doing Sunday services. That's
- 18:51Speaker 1: your that's that's your call. Pass getting letters about this
- 18:56Speaker 1: full close to your love for the Hot Flash. We
- 19:02Speaker 1: have several members here at church this morning. Sister Carlin
- 19:07Speaker 1: and Sister Monica Mississippi is in charge of them. The
- 19:11Speaker 1: two women that's heading up the Hot Flash committed. We're
- 19:16Speaker 1: not cutting this or a one fifty that much. You're
- 19:21Speaker 1: not running this bill up like that. The dollar Stove
- 19:24Speaker 1: got these new push button fans in there for a
- 19:26Speaker 1: dollar quarter. We have those. We're gonna we're gonna get
- 19:32Speaker 1: your another two. Yeah, it's called Battle of the Fans.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Y'all gonna have to sit further back then, because that
- 19:40Speaker 1: harm is throwing off the ministry all right past the eye.
- 19:48Speaker 1: He has another situation, Brother Travis Lennard, he thinks he
- 19:52Speaker 1: has donke In pox. He keeps kicking people that walk
- 19:56Speaker 1: behind him every five Brother this and got his behind. Well,
- 20:01Speaker 1: he won'ts your help. We are, you know, we're very
- 20:07Speaker 1: proud of for him because he's the first person to
- 20:12Speaker 1: have Dunkey palks. And what we've done, we've actually entered
- 20:17Speaker 1: in him into a case study. They are paying fifteen
- 20:22Speaker 1: hundred dollars to the church for anybody that has it,
- 20:28Speaker 1: and we've turned him in already, so they'll be in
- 20:30Speaker 1: here Sunday to watch him closely and see what all
- 20:33Speaker 1: the effects are. Well, we don't handle medicine or none.
- 20:37Speaker 1: We just want to record what it make him do,
- 20:40Speaker 1: all right, ha ha ha ha ha. Dude, he kick
- 20:47Speaker 1: We gotta move it along. Coming up next to his
- 20:50Speaker 1: asked the CLO with the Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey
- 20:54Speaker 1: in the building, ready for your love questions right after this.
- 20:59Speaker 1: You're listening, She's a Steven show coming up at the
- 21:03Speaker 1: top of the hour. In entertainment news rapper Fat Joe
- 21:07Speaker 1: listen to this Steve Tommy here, Junior spates rapper Fat
- 21:13Speaker 1: Joe is going from rapping on stage to telling jokes.
- 21:17Speaker 1: M huh, all right, he's a great rapper, so we'll
- 21:23Speaker 1: see how that goes. Drake is bigger than the Beatles,
- 21:27Speaker 1: and we'll tell you who has a new face tattoo
- 21:31Speaker 1: along her jawline. Okay, but right now it is time
- 21:36Speaker 1: for ask the clo all right. Beginning with Sasha in
- 21:41Speaker 1: Baton Rouge, Sasha says, I'm in a relationship with an
- 21:44Speaker 1: older man in age but not in maturity. He's so
- 21:48Speaker 1: self centered and if we don't do what he wants
- 21:50Speaker 1: to do, he starts to pout. He calls his mama
- 21:54Speaker 1: and his sister, and I can't win when they team
- 21:56Speaker 1: up on me. If I marry this old baby, well
- 22:00Speaker 1: my life continued to be this complicated? Should I run? Yeah? Yeah, yeah?
- 22:09Speaker 1: Have you heard you saying? That ain't no food like
- 22:11Speaker 1: an old food? He called his mama. That's why he's
- 22:15Speaker 1: single and available now because he ain't been that good
- 22:19Speaker 1: a catch to nobody. Now, you didn't call him, and
- 22:22Speaker 1: you think you got something you know? Can I give
- 22:24Speaker 1: you a suggestion, lady? When you make a bad catch,
- 22:28Speaker 1: drop the ball, throw it back. No, don't throw it back,
- 22:33Speaker 1: drop the ball, just drop it, Okay, yeah, just drop it,
- 22:37Speaker 1: walk off. Leave. It's happened to him before. He's very
- 22:44Speaker 1: familiar with it. It ain't gonna hurt him or nothing.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Uh huh, this has happened before. Just go ahead, don't
- 22:51Speaker 1: even worry about all right, Sasha, leave it all right?
- 22:55Speaker 1: Man decent and Phoenix says, my thirty year old sister
- 22:58Speaker 1: has asked a borrow my spare car are and my
- 23:00Speaker 1: husband says I can't let her use it because he
- 23:03Speaker 1: bought it and he doesn't like my sister. The car
- 23:06Speaker 1: is just sitting in our driveway, so I don't see
- 23:09Speaker 1: the harm in it, But there's no reasoning with him.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Would it be wrong to go against my husband's wishes?
- 23:16Speaker 1: He bought it, Yeah, he bought it and he doesn't
- 23:20Speaker 1: like the sister. Well, look like your sister gonna be uber,
- 23:26Speaker 1: that's what it looks like. Uh. He bought the car
- 23:30Speaker 1: and he don't like your sister. Nuke. How old is
- 23:35Speaker 1: your sister? Why is shety? She's thirty? Sticks born? Call
- 23:44Speaker 1: on the luck, maybe fall on the man and get lucky,
- 23:54Speaker 1: you know, but you over here the bar. See, here's
- 23:58Speaker 1: what the deal is. People always look around as somebody
- 24:02Speaker 1: else's life and expect them because this man had worked
- 24:06Speaker 1: hard and got another car, and the car ain't just
- 24:09Speaker 1: sitting there because you drive in your hook and drive
- 24:13Speaker 1: and I'm pretty sure somebody go to work at a
- 24:17Speaker 1: different time, so it ain't just sitting there. I think
- 24:21Speaker 1: she over exaggerated that poor who you know got two
- 24:25Speaker 1: cars and the other cars just sit there? Po who
- 24:28Speaker 1: you know got that life? You do? You do? You
- 24:37Speaker 1: think that's so unusual just to have an ex car
- 24:41Speaker 1: sitting in the driveway and an extra car. That's what
- 24:46Speaker 1: a couple with an extra car that neither one of
- 24:50Speaker 1: them drive? What? M Well, anyway, the point is sounds
- 24:58Speaker 1: like her. Okay. The point is she's not gonna do it.
- 25:03Speaker 1: The wife wants to know should she go against her
- 25:05Speaker 1: husband's wishes. I never loaned a car. M. You've never
- 25:11Speaker 1: let someone borrow your car? No? Not not now? Well
- 25:17Speaker 1: come on, yeah, when I had a seventy two, Yeah
- 25:20Speaker 1: you want to drive this hill. But now when you're
- 25:22Speaker 1: warning you you gotta keep your foot on the gas
- 25:26Speaker 1: at the light or else don't cut off. And then
- 25:28Speaker 1: you had to wait twenty minute. You know, you have
- 25:33Speaker 1: to throw it in neutral, keep your foot on the
- 25:35Speaker 1: gas because you don't keep that idol rammed up and
- 25:38Speaker 1: at least uh fifty rpm just gonna cut off. And
- 25:42Speaker 1: then you got to wait fifteen minutes. And I never
- 25:45Speaker 1: found out why you had to wait. But it's fifteen minutes.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Why can't he let because he don't like him? Yeah,
- 25:55Speaker 1: that's it. He doesn't like her, yea, And maybe she's irresponsible.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Maybe that's why she doesn't have a car at thirty.
- 26:01Speaker 1: You never and he doesn't want her to, you know,
- 26:05Speaker 1: maybe we're looking over him, yes, sister, yeah, yeah, it is. Well,
- 26:12Speaker 1: if you go against your husband, you're gonna have a problem.
- 26:15Speaker 1: The best wish, the best thing you could do is
- 26:17Speaker 1: try to talk to your husband or try to help
- 26:20Speaker 1: her get a call. Yeah, you and your husband need
- 26:23Speaker 1: to be on the same page. I let her driving anyway,
- 26:26Speaker 1: you shut up? Here me go all right, Taysha Moving
- 26:32Speaker 1: on to Tysha in Greensborough. Tysha says, my boyfriend called
- 26:36Speaker 1: me by mistake, and I heard him talking to another woman.
- 26:41Speaker 1: He was in a restaurant or a bar and it
- 26:43Speaker 1: was loud. After that, his phone was off, he said,
- 26:46Speaker 1: He butt dialed me when he was picking up his dinner,
- 26:49Speaker 1: and he ate and then fell asleep without charging his phone.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Why lie? Why do men lie? Why? Yisha? What do
- 26:59Speaker 1: you want him? He called somebody else by accident, thought
- 27:08Speaker 1: it was you, But when the actuality he fought out
- 27:13Speaker 1: when he picked that phone up, the gut wrenching scream
- 27:19Speaker 1: that was in that car, when he pressed that phone
- 27:23Speaker 1: home and saw your name, he hit it off, cut
- 27:27Speaker 1: that phone off, eight went to sleep, and his phone died.
- 27:33Speaker 1: That's what we have to tell you. He can't tell
- 27:37Speaker 1: you the truth. What was the truth? Exactly? The truth
- 27:42Speaker 1: of the matter. Is he swallowed by the girl, got
- 27:48Speaker 1: in the car they were talking. Yes, he looked down
- 27:53Speaker 1: at his phone and realized it had been opened for
- 27:56Speaker 1: the past eleven minutes. Yeah, but it was in a restaurant,
- 28:00Speaker 1: she said, bar or restaurant. He was in that eating
- 28:05Speaker 1: with the girl. Exactly, not what you want him to say.
- 28:09Speaker 1: I was eating with a girl. Ain't nobody stupid though?
- 28:16Speaker 1: Ain't stupid? But he ain't either, though, yes he is
- 28:22Speaker 1: the black was he supposed to say the true? So
- 28:28Speaker 1: she just wants to know why why would he tell
- 28:34Speaker 1: the truth? Give us that I want to know why.
- 28:40Speaker 1: All right, let's try to get to the last No, no, no, no, no, no,
- 28:43Speaker 1: let's stay with this. If he tells y'all the truth
- 28:48Speaker 1: that he was eating dinner with the restaurant with a girl,
- 28:52Speaker 1: what would y'all do? Ask him why? And then you know,
- 28:56Speaker 1: get to the bottom. No, no, what would y'all do? Yeah,
- 29:01Speaker 1: we'd give him the third degrade, try to kill him
- 29:06Speaker 1: his life and we've to go through all that. We
- 29:13Speaker 1: got to go through the cheating. Okay, all right, coming
- 29:17Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. Entertainment news for
- 29:21Speaker 1: you right after this you're listening to coming to the stage.
- 29:29Speaker 1: It is rapper Fat Joe, that's right. On Friday, Fat
- 29:33Speaker 1: Joe announced that he will have a one man stand
- 29:37Speaker 1: up comedy show in New York this fall. And that's
- 29:42Speaker 1: not all. That's not all he will be. He will
- 29:47Speaker 1: be introduced by Dave Chappelle, none other than Dave Chappelle,
- 29:52Speaker 1: and he's already got sponsors. Rock Nation is backing him. Okay.
- 29:57Speaker 1: In a press release about the show, Fat Joe said, uh,
- 30:01Speaker 1: the world will be getting Fat Joe at his most authentic, vulnerable,
- 30:05Speaker 1: and comedic self on that stage. He says, he's not
- 30:09Speaker 1: holding anything back. He's always taken pride and his storytelling,
- 30:13Speaker 1: but we're about to take it to the next level.
- 30:15Speaker 1: He says he's grateful to Dave Chappelle, Rock Nation, and
- 30:18Speaker 1: Magic Lemonade for their support in sharing his story and
- 30:22Speaker 1: helping him make his one man show the biggest event ever.
- 30:27Speaker 1: There you go, leaning fat Joke, so so storytelling and
- 30:35Speaker 1: so so. Explain the difference to fat Joe says, he's
- 30:38Speaker 1: a storyteller, so you could tell stories and be fun,
- 30:41Speaker 1: but I'm a storytelling comedian. Um, there's comics and comedians.
- 30:46Speaker 1: M Uh, there's two types. Then there's storytellers and there's
- 30:52Speaker 1: joke writers. M are two types. Emo Phillips is a
- 30:56Speaker 1: joke writer. Let me see who would be famous. We
- 31:01Speaker 1: have very few famous joke writers. Most our culture is
- 31:06Speaker 1: of stories. So most comedians that become highly successful are
- 31:11Speaker 1: great storytellers. Kevin Hard, Dave Chappelle, Chris rod Eddie, they were.
- 31:18Speaker 1: They were great storytellers. So telling the stories is a
- 31:23Speaker 1: part of our culture. It's almost necessary. The white comedians
- 31:27Speaker 1: can have joke writers. Jay Lennon is a joke writer.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Jerry Seinfeld is a joke writer. David Letterman was a
- 31:34Speaker 1: joke writer. Emo Phillips was a joke writer. All these guys,
- 31:40Speaker 1: they write jokes. They have no stories for you. Our
- 31:45Speaker 1: specialty because of cultural differences. Our stories. Fact, Joe is
- 31:50Speaker 1: a good storyteller. Our seen him online do some stuff.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Times are changing, and I think we're gonna have to
- 31:55Speaker 1: come to this admission. Well, the landscape has changed because
- 32:02Speaker 1: the proving ground is different because the only people out
- 32:06Speaker 1: there right now that you have to yourself to measure
- 32:10Speaker 1: up to it's them three that's out there too, and
- 32:13Speaker 1: right now heavy and then you got cats like Tommy
- 32:17Speaker 1: and Kid that's out there that's doing it the old
- 32:20Speaker 1: school way. But yeah, but other than that, it's not
- 32:25Speaker 1: really a lot. So guys can make up the rules
- 32:29Speaker 1: as they go. T I got into comedy and haven't
- 32:32Speaker 1: heard much about him of late. Came out with a
- 32:35Speaker 1: bang with all these different gigs and stuff. But now
- 32:37Speaker 1: that that simmer down because now you got to get
- 32:41Speaker 1: into the business of being what you said you are,
- 32:44Speaker 1: and the expectations from the audiences are a little slightly
- 32:48Speaker 1: different because eighty five South has introduced a new way
- 32:51Speaker 1: of doing comedy which has been like amazing. Man, they
- 32:55Speaker 1: pulled off this improvisational comedy. They got a ban on stage,
- 33:00Speaker 1: they got furniture on stages. Like they talking about people
- 33:04Speaker 1: many and them. Dude right there, they talk about everybody
- 33:08Speaker 1: come to their show and nobody safe and the stuff
- 33:13Speaker 1: is working. So after t I now, fat Joe, Uh,
- 33:20Speaker 1: it's going to be interesting to see. But to already
- 33:24Speaker 1: have sponsors and stuff like that, and you can open
- 33:28Speaker 1: around one man show because of this popularity. Yeah, so
- 33:32Speaker 1: I say, right on, do you thing fat you? I
- 33:34Speaker 1: like fat you? Oh yeah? Anybody else whim comment on
- 33:39Speaker 1: it saying no, I'm with you. I mean, I'm excited
- 33:41Speaker 1: to see it. You know, I support them, you know,
- 33:44Speaker 1: I mean you know it's different for us, man. I
- 33:46Speaker 1: mean like you know, me and time. You gotta go
- 33:48Speaker 1: out and hit these clubs, man, these five and six
- 33:50Speaker 1: shows and weekends, and you know, now we got one
- 33:53Speaker 1: man show. You just come right on that one man show.
- 33:56Speaker 1: But see what that's because you all are early. If
- 33:59Speaker 1: you think, what do you mean how long you mean
- 34:02Speaker 1: the length of his how long you think it's time?
- 34:05Speaker 1: You think he would be on stage? Oh I don't think.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe maybe he's hitting clubs and prepping
- 34:12Speaker 1: for this big day. Maybe he's getting prepared. You know,
- 34:16Speaker 1: that's that would be the smart thing to do. I
- 34:18Speaker 1: don't think, yeah, I don't think these guys really understand
- 34:26Speaker 1: what it's like to stand on the stage and talk
- 34:30Speaker 1: and get the reaction of a comedian which is last
- 34:36Speaker 1: for an hour. That's a massive daunting endeavor. I don't
- 34:41Speaker 1: care who you are. It's hard for Kevin hard to
- 34:44Speaker 1: do it. It's hard for Rock, it's hard for Chappelle,
- 34:48Speaker 1: It's hard for these two boys right here. It's hard.
- 34:52Speaker 1: It take a long time to get and get a
- 34:54Speaker 1: good and get real last not no little chuckles, and
- 34:58Speaker 1: you know three minutes later here come another No. No,
- 35:02Speaker 1: that ain't what people pay for, man, because from prior
- 35:07Speaker 1: on down and they have a different expectation. Go ahead,
- 35:11Speaker 1: Can I ask a question. Do you think Dave Chappelle
- 35:13Speaker 1: would even be involved or introducing him if he didn't
- 35:17Speaker 1: think Fat Joe was talented and worthy of it? Well,
- 35:21Speaker 1: introducing him nothing? He Dave friend, Well, I mean, yeah, yeah,
- 35:26Speaker 1: he knows Fat Joe is funny. M I mean, you
- 35:30Speaker 1: can go out there and put your stamp on. It
- 35:31Speaker 1: ain't gonna hurt Chappelle's career. Okay, okay, it's nothing wrong,
- 35:37Speaker 1: all right, supporting a friend. You still got to stand
- 35:42Speaker 1: up and do it. At the end of the day,
- 35:44Speaker 1: anybody can bring you out. End of the day, you win,
- 35:48Speaker 1: You're out. Let's go. I was just thinking, boy, all right,
- 35:57Speaker 1: coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, who had
- 36:00Speaker 1: the best fried chicken in the United States? We'll tell you.
- 36:04Speaker 1: And you may not have ever even heard of this place.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 36:12Speaker 1: we know where the best chicken in the world came from,
- 36:15Speaker 1: and of course that's our ancestors. But now we can't
- 36:19Speaker 1: even claim fried chicken people. A recent taste test nationwide
- 36:24Speaker 1: has crowned a popular chain from the Philippines as the
- 36:29Speaker 1: winner of the best fried chicken in America. Okay. Philippine
- 36:36Speaker 1: based fried chicken restaurant chain Jallabe has sixty four locations
- 36:41Speaker 1: in the US, with plans to have up to five
- 36:44Speaker 1: hundred restaurants in the next five years. According to the
- 36:47Speaker 1: food writers at eater dot com, Jallabe's Fried Chicken beat Popeyes,
- 36:53Speaker 1: beat KFC, chick Filet and Bojangles. All Right, Jellaby best,
- 37:00Speaker 1: that's the best. They're saying that's the best fast food
- 37:03Speaker 1: fried s Yeah, yeah, ain't none of them got the
- 37:08Speaker 1: best fried sip or we've all had? Yeah? Your mom, absolutely,
- 37:16Speaker 1: my mom? Yeah absolutely. It's some Mama's and some Grandmama's
- 37:20Speaker 1: around this country or circle around Popeye ass Oh yeah absolutely.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Technically Popeyes had to close and nothing but the truth
- 37:32Speaker 1: out of your mouth right now, Grandmama's and Mama's Fried
- 37:36Speaker 1: Chicken was available for mass production. You have to go
- 37:41Speaker 1: take your ass somewhere and sit down. But go ahead
- 37:46Speaker 1: and talk. They got a place in Houston called Frenches
- 37:49Speaker 1: and who will give you a run for your money?
- 37:51Speaker 1: You've been talking about third Ward Trenches. You better talk
- 37:55Speaker 1: about it. My first piece of meat came for Frenchies, yes, sir,
- 37:59Speaker 1: and put that down you eight months that line wrapped
- 38:07Speaker 1: around the building, Bud. And as a young person, I'm
- 38:10Speaker 1: gonna be honest with you, that was a fried chicken
- 38:13Speaker 1: place in Cleveland called Daring Boy. What happened? You want? Boy?
- 38:20Speaker 1: My mama like Darn's Fried Chicken. That's why I knew it.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Just one location, Darren's Fried Chicken. Now I'm out. As
- 38:28Speaker 1: a as growing up, you couldn't tell me that Churches
- 38:33Speaker 1: wasn't popping Churches that size chicken. Churches FI figures your head.
- 38:46Speaker 1: You can't close the box. Churches's chicken thigh was actually
- 38:51Speaker 1: the size of a woman's with that side. Yes, we'll
- 39:03Speaker 1: look out for jollabies. Like I said, all the way
- 39:05Speaker 1: from the Philippine famous place in Chicago, they chicken good
- 39:09Speaker 1: Harold Harolds, Yes dat all right, Look all right, we'll
- 39:18Speaker 1: talk about a chicken. We'll keep the party going and
- 39:22Speaker 1: talk about dieting Steve when we come back right after this.
- 39:28Speaker 1: You're listening to show. All right, guys, check this out.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Could you do? This is the question. Reverend Al Sharpton
- 39:39Speaker 1: went from three hundred and five pounds to one hundred
- 39:42Speaker 1: and thirty two pounds. And I mean we've all seen
- 39:45Speaker 1: seen him, um, you know when he was larger and now,
- 39:49Speaker 1: and he credits his weight loss to a bizarre diet.
- 39:53Speaker 1: He eats just one small meal per day. He eats
- 39:57Speaker 1: nothing but a kale salad with hard boiled eggs, tomatoes,
- 40:01Speaker 1: and cucumbers. And he's eaten that every single day for
- 40:05Speaker 1: the past four years. Yeah, he eats it around midday
- 40:10Speaker 1: every day. That's what he has eats that's all he eats.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Uh huh. He doesn't not eat breakfast, or he doesn't
- 40:18Speaker 1: eat dinner. He said. If he gets too hungry, he'll
- 40:21Speaker 1: eat one slice one slice of whole wheat toast before bedtime.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Reverend Sharpton told page six at fifteen years ago, I
- 40:30Speaker 1: weighed three hundred pounds. Today I'm one hundred thirty two.
- 40:33Speaker 1: I just made up my mind and I just did
- 40:36Speaker 1: it cold turkey. Yeah, wow, I'm just I love he
- 40:42Speaker 1: needs at one thirty two. That ain't nothing to be proud.
- 40:46Speaker 1: You can't go from a fat man down to banom weight.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Yeah he did it one hundred and thirty two pounds.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Now you just a little Mexican fighter. That's a banom weight.
- 40:57Speaker 1: You just to look your head. It's just all you
- 41:03Speaker 1: need to come sandwiches out, pick it up? All right?
- 41:07Speaker 1: So could could you do a diet like that? The
- 41:10Speaker 1: same thing for four years? Every day? Hell no? Yeah?
- 41:13Speaker 1: What is that mister l doing on Thanksgiving? I mean, damn,
- 41:17Speaker 1: cho s in cucumber and it's Thanksgiving. He gonna have
- 41:24Speaker 1: a like uh because reading I was reading. He was
- 41:35Speaker 1: recently at Sylvia's restaurant, and he pulled out his salad
- 41:40Speaker 1: and while everybody else, members of his family at Sylvia's.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Do you know I would have broke down Sylvia's good. Yes,
- 41:49Speaker 1: it's fried chicken. Yes, I don't know who are Papa Ginos?
- 41:55Speaker 1: Think they finn to come up in Hire and whatever
- 42:01Speaker 1: the little Philippine beans out of the Philippine come over here.
- 42:04Speaker 1: You're nothing to come over here and win bet fried chicken.
- 42:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna just tell you that last break come off.
- 42:10Speaker 1: So see if you do have a lot, you do
- 42:13Speaker 1: go on a lot of diets. I gotta ask you,
- 42:15Speaker 1: what's the most extreme diet you've ever been on? Extreme? Oh?
- 42:22Speaker 1: Sunfair when doing COVID first hit, lose twenty pounds and
- 42:28Speaker 1: twenty twenty pounds and twenty days. I didn't. I lost it, Yeah,
- 42:37Speaker 1: next day, start packing it right back on the next
- 42:41Speaker 1: day because I didn't follow the instruct you know, they
- 42:45Speaker 1: got a full plan. Sunfa actually is a pretty good
- 42:47Speaker 1: plan if you want to lose weight quickly. They have
- 42:50Speaker 1: a twenty day plan. You're eating, but you're intermittent fasting
- 42:54Speaker 1: and you're eating, but you know, at one point it's
- 42:59Speaker 1: overwitten and you got to get on the maintenance program,
- 43:02Speaker 1: which is more calories. But you know he was doing COVID.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I was home, and you know I was losing the
- 43:10Speaker 1: pound a day, okay, and it worked. If you intimate
- 43:15Speaker 1: fast and stay on the diet and drink the water,
- 43:18Speaker 1: you lose the It's extreme, Tommy, what about you remember
- 43:24Speaker 1: then Japanese cleans I did. I couldn't lead the right none. Yes,
- 43:29Speaker 1: oh yeah, you talk to Japanese cleans where you couldn't
- 43:34Speaker 1: read the directions on the box that it was in Japanese.
- 43:37Speaker 1: So he did his own thing. Yeah, so he read
- 43:41Speaker 1: what he could, took the peel, and his whole booty
- 43:49Speaker 1: out horrible. I was messed up for two weeks where
- 43:56Speaker 1: that's why you need to do d herbs that and
- 44:02Speaker 1: it's proven that's that's right. Yeah. Yeah, Well, congratulations to
- 44:13Speaker 1: Rever now though losing all that weight. I don't know
- 44:16Speaker 1: how he does it, but congratulations. Coming up next, speaking
- 44:19Speaker 1: of the nephew, the prank phone call for it today.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Right after this, he needs a chicken smoothie. You're listening
- 44:27Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at four minutes
- 44:33Speaker 1: after the hour. It's my strawberry letter for today and
- 44:36Speaker 1: the subject is he thought it was on and popping.
- 44:39Speaker 1: We'll find out what happened and in just a few minutes.
- 44:45Speaker 1: But right now the nephew is here with today's prank
- 44:48Speaker 1: phone call. What you got for us? Nept It's Monday, Shirley,
- 44:51Speaker 1: so I might as to be as stupid as I
- 44:53Speaker 1: can be. Ok yeah, magnified Monday. You know you want
- 44:59Speaker 1: to blo it up? Start to stupid? Off, good on
- 45:01Speaker 1: a good little okay position here right here is can
- 45:06Speaker 1: your wife help me with my thesis? Can your wife
- 45:11Speaker 1: help me with my thesis? Okay, it's just pretty simple,
- 45:16Speaker 1: speaking of wife, did you did you? Did you? Did
- 45:19Speaker 1: you catch my first lady already to love? Did you
- 45:22Speaker 1: catch her? Love? Friday? Nike? So pretty? She's so cute.
- 45:26Speaker 1: I loved it, Tommy, it was beautiful rocket guys together, Ye,
- 45:31Speaker 1: looking good. My honey Dip was hanging out with me.
- 45:36Speaker 1: And yeah, it was really cute. I love that. Yeah, yeah,
- 45:42Speaker 1: miss Miles, he's a star. Please don't please, don't say no.
- 45:48Speaker 1: I want you to let her know I said that. Yes, Okay,
- 45:51Speaker 1: I'm not gonna let her know that. All that's okay.
- 45:54Speaker 1: I have her number, all texts, coupe of things I

- 55:27Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry Letter. Subject. He thought it was
- 55:30Speaker 1: on and popping. Thank you, nephew. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 55:34Speaker 1: married and in my mid forties, and my husband turns
- 55:37Speaker 1: forty in a month. He decided he was going to
- 55:40Speaker 1: have a guy's weekend in Mexico and then he would
- 55:43Speaker 1: come back and we would celebrate together with the small
- 55:46Speaker 1: group of our friends. He got his little plans together,
- 55:49Speaker 1: and I was watching all of the emails going back
- 55:52Speaker 1: and forth. I'm not a snooper. He's just not the
- 55:55Speaker 1: sharpest tool in the box. He left his laptop open,
- 56:00Speaker 1: emails on the screen, no code on his computer, so
- 56:03Speaker 1: forth to so on. So if I happened to see
- 56:06Speaker 1: a few of his emails, it's his fault. He was
- 56:10Speaker 1: communicating with a female who was invited to join him
- 56:13Speaker 1: on the trip. He asked her to bring a female
- 56:16Speaker 1: with her, and she told him she was bringing two
- 56:19Speaker 1: of her friends so that his two friends would be
- 56:21Speaker 1: well entertained. He let her plan the trip and they
- 56:25Speaker 1: were going horseback riding, zip lining, and having dinner on
- 56:29Speaker 1: a charted boat ride. She emailed him pictures of the
- 56:33Speaker 1: girls she was planning to bring, and he approved the girls.
- 56:37Speaker 1: He started giving her money for airline tickets for her
- 56:40Speaker 1: and her friends. That's when I knew it was time
- 56:44Speaker 1: to put an end to this. I emailed this woman
- 56:46Speaker 1: from his account, and then I locked him out of
- 56:49Speaker 1: his account. She agreed to give me a call and
- 56:52Speaker 1: we talked for thirty minutes. She says she was very
- 56:55Speaker 1: sorry because she didn't know he was married. I figured
- 56:59Speaker 1: she was lying, and I figured she already bought her
- 57:01Speaker 1: ticket for Mexico, so I hid my husband's passport. He
- 57:05Speaker 1: couldn't get into his email and he couldn't find his passport,
- 57:09Speaker 1: so he had to talk to me yesterday. He actually
- 57:13Speaker 1: had the nerve to curse me out for emailing the
- 57:16Speaker 1: woman and for messing up his birthday trip and for
- 57:18Speaker 1: making him lose a lot of money. Am I crazy?
- 57:21Speaker 1: Or has he lost his mind? What do I do now?
- 57:25Speaker 1: First of all, we gotta say yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 57:32Speaker 1: go girl. Love you, I love you, and all the
- 57:36Speaker 1: women in the world love you for that. Yes, oh
- 57:42Speaker 1: you did your thing. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 57:45Speaker 1: And yes, he has definitely lost his mind to answer
- 57:48Speaker 1: your question. And he's really not mad at you. I
- 57:50Speaker 1: know you say he cursed you out and all that.
- 57:52Speaker 1: He's mad at himself for being so stupid, and he's
- 57:56Speaker 1: misdirecting that anger towards you. He do, you know, get
- 58:00Speaker 1: tricky with this. But but everything he did was raggedy,
- 58:04Speaker 1: leaving the laptop open, all of that, not having a
- 58:07Speaker 1: code for the computer. Everything he did was dumb, and
- 58:11Speaker 1: he got what he deserved. You found out through a
- 58:14Speaker 1: major wrench in his plans, hit his passport. He spent
- 58:18Speaker 1: all that money. Now he can't go on and go
- 58:21Speaker 1: on vacation with his side chick. He's so busted and
- 58:24Speaker 1: there's just nowhere to run. He can't hide anywhere. He
- 58:28Speaker 1: couldn't even think of a good old Steve Harvey light
- 58:31Speaker 1: to tell mmmmmmmm. And that's why he's trying to flip
- 58:36Speaker 1: it on you. He has no right to be mad
- 58:38Speaker 1: at you, and don't let him do that to you.
- 58:40Speaker 1: You did nothing, okay nothing. We are very proud of you.
- 58:45Speaker 1: You are our leader right now. Okay, the truth basically
- 58:49Speaker 1: fell into your lap. And what were you supposed to do.
- 58:51Speaker 1: You were supposed to do just what you did, and
- 58:53Speaker 1: any other woman would have done the exact same thing.
- 58:57Speaker 1: So let him be mad. He's gonna just have to
- 58:59Speaker 1: get over it. Happy birthday whatever. I don't care if
- 59:02Speaker 1: it is his birthday. He's wrong for this one. He
- 59:05Speaker 1: brought it on himself. Steve damn Dog, Damn, damn, damn,
- 59:13Speaker 1: damn damn Florida bro Dog. Well, he was gonna have
- 59:22Speaker 1: a guy's weekend in Mexico and he's gonna come back,
- 59:26Speaker 1: y'all celebrate together with a small group of friends, got
- 59:29Speaker 1: his little plans together. And I was just watching all
- 59:32Speaker 1: the emails going back and forth. He said, I'm not
- 59:35Speaker 1: a snooper. Yes you are. It's okay. He's just not
- 59:41Speaker 1: the sharpest tool in the box. He left his laptop open,
- 59:45Speaker 1: emails on the screen, no code on his computer, so
- 59:50Speaker 1: forth and so old. So if I happened to see
- 59:54Speaker 1: a few of his emails. Is his fault? You damn
- 59:58Speaker 1: right about that. You damn right about that. Lady, you
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: were snooping, But Lord, have mercy laptop open emails on
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: the screen, no cold. Hang on, Steve, hang on, We'll
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: have part include her in the thread. We'll have part
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: two of your response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter, subject he thought it
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: was on and popping. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter and finish
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: up with your response. This letter. I thought it was
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: on and popping. But this letter should be entitled All
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: I could say is damn, damn damn. Yeah, like Florida
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: on good Time. Well, the little man of yours, you
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: me at forties, Your man having a little party. He
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: was gonna have a guy's weekend in Mexico. Then he
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: gonna come back and we celebrate a small group of friends.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: You know. The party is a big birthday, the big Fox.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, my daughters personally Brandon Carline just celebrated their
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: big folk this past weekend, so happy birthday. I couldn't
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: come to the party because I didn't know what the
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: hell was gonna happen. They was taking cell phones and
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: signing the NDA, so I said, I probably don't need
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: to witness none of this. Hill Carlin got good sense
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: because she married, but Brandy and her little circle of friends.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: I didn't want to be there, so I didn't go
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: to the party. Okay, you'll make it up to him
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: with the beautiful gift to facts already made that him. Yeah, anyway,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: got his players together, and the lady said, I was
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: watching all emails going back and forth. I'm not a snooper,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: but he's just not the sharpest box in the two
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: tooling the box. He left his laptop open, emails on
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: the screen, no coat on his computer. So far and
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: so so if I happened to see a few in meals,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: his his fault. You damn right, it's his fault. Stupid
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: can't leave. He did this your big forty birthday. You
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: was going too big on this one. You're so big,
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: you dumb. So now he was communicating with a female
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: who was invited to join him on the trip. He
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: asked her to bring a female with her, and she
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: told him she was bringing two of her friends so
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: that his two friends could be well in the team.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: He led up playing the trip and they will go
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: to horseback ride and zip line and having dinner on
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: a charted boat ride. Broad Dog bawling on the farty bawling.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: He emailed him pictures of the girl she was playing
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: in the brain. He approved the girl checking check dog.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: He started giving her money for airline tickets for her
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: and her friends. Or are you fit to do this? Fart?
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Whoa but dog? Your laptop is open with no code
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: and the emails was on the screen. This woman then
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: played it perfect. She got all her information when he
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: started giving her money. That's what I knew it was
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: time to put into this. I emailed this woman from
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: his account, then I locked him out of his account.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: She agreed to give me a call. We talked for
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: thirty minutes. She said she was very sorry because she
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: didn't know he was married. I figured she was lying
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: and figured she'd already bought her ticket from Mexico. Maybe
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: she wasn't lying. That's don't matter right now. No it
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: or not, that don't change what he did. I figured
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: she'd already bought her tickets from Mexico. So I heard
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: my husband's passport. God, I love her. He couldn't get
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: into his email and he couldn't find his passport, so
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: he had to talk to me. Here's where Shirley Colin
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Neil was giving you kudos. They were applauding you back before.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I must admit this was the ultimately gangster movie. Yes,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: so he had to talk to me. Yeah, that's all
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: you get. Now, I'm gonna tell you the first thing
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: you said, Faith, Have you seen my passport? She said? Well,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: that all okay. So we're gonna do a re enactment.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Shirley's gonna ask me about the trip, and I'm gonna
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: tell you how he should have lied. Oh good, okay,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: because yesterday he actually had the nerve to custom me
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: out for emailing the woman messing up his birthday trip. Heard, well,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: the reason he cussed out was because of the best
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: defensives for making me lose a lot of money and
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: my crazy or has he lost his man? Yes, he
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: has lost his man. What do I do now? I
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: really don't know what you're asking me for. What to
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: do now? Hell? You ain't you done enough? She had
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: done it, so I don't know what else you could do.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: And now you did mess up his birthday, but that's
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: exactly what you were supposed to do. Yeah, so now
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: let's have a reenact. Man, surely I'm busted. Husband, you
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: the wife? Hey, baby, you see my passport? Yeah, I've

- 1:05:43Speaker 1: this is mine. No, I need this, baby, I need it.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I'm going to Mexico. Yeah. I know you're going to Mexico.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: That's why I have your passport. You don't need your
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: pass for it because I read all the emails and
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: you're going with someone besides me. See your lie, that's
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: what you did. Hole, You're rare? What email? The emails
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: out on your laptop? Stupid? You left them open. I
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: could see everything. I know where you're going. You don't
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: even zip line? What are you doing? Somebody account? Because
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: I can't even get in it no more. Yeah, well,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: guess who that hacker was. It was me? Okay, I
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: know everything. No, you're not getting you hacked it. Yeah,

- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Go get your tickets. Your favorite play cousin coming to
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: town at Huntsville Stand Up Live. Go get your tickets.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: And also October seventh and eighth, Virginia Beach. I'm coming
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: the way back down to Virginia Beach at the Funny Bone. Man.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: I can't wait to see y'all all right where the
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: ruling is in deshn Watson suspended eleven games, no pain,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Find five million, and then he also has an undergo
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: mandatory evaluations by a behavioral expert and followed they suggested
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: treatment playing, which I highly recommend he do. So he
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: will not come back until December fourth, and guess who
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: he played on December fourth, time the Texas. This is
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: a drama. Now, man, he gonna come back in and
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: whoop our ass. I swear that's why I could find
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: another game. He gonna come back in that US with
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: a vengeance and then up still gonna be right there.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: It's a full support of it. We don't want our
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: first two. Yeah pretty good. Yeah yeah yeah, it's preceded.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: But tapped people are gonna be on the roster timing
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: when we get the real roster. We're going back to
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: old at thirteen by the time we get to the shune.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: But but he still said he stands on his innocence.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: Though he did, he said just because I saw his statement,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: and though women on ESPN was beating him up, but
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: I don't think they're understanding what this young man is
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: really saying. He is standing on his innocence because he
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: had no criminal things that was done and that was
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: proven by the grand jury because there had no criminal trial. Now,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: did he hit on women and stuff like that inappropriate behavior,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Yes he did, or Deshaun Waser. But for the NFL
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: to come back asked the independent judge to rule and
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: then come back and do more. Was the NFL trying
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: to appease all these people with this eleven game suspension.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: The female judge gave him a six game suspension based
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: on everything else they had done in the past in
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: the NFL. Nothing happened to Robert Kraft, nothing happened to
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: being Rosslynburger, nothing happened to Antonio Brown, these other people.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: So she based it on that. I think it's the
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: NFL trying to save face and make more of it.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: But there were no criminal charges and for them to
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: treat it like it was criminal and their grand jury didn't.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Now did he break conduct behavior of the NFL, Yes,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: he did, and that has to be a penalty for it.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: She getting mad because he said he stands on his innocence.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: So that's what was said about thank you for breaking
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: it down, because all right, Junior, thank you. Coming up
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we'll talk about Daddy
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: Doovers right after this you're listening show. According to Angela Cogan,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: the CEO of Perfection, Plastic Surgery and Medical Spot in Miami,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Brazilian butt lifts aren't as popular anymore and there has
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: been a major shift in men getting more plastic surgery.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: In an exclusive interview on The Shade Room, Cogan stated
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: that more men are getting work done down there. In
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: what's called a daddy do over trend. Men are seeking
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: keenness enlargements, which are done with fillers or surgery, and
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: the abs sketching procedure is widely popular now. Cogan said
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: that overall, overall, plastic surgery trends have shifted, and Brazilian
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: butt lifts are not as popular among women. Better, let's
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: talk about that. What happens? Okay? You know, have you
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: ever seen the men's abs where it looks like they've
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: drawn on the the month? Yeah? I need how much that? Called?
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Oh you're doing research here, y'all need that? I need that.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: I need draw them on because I damn show can't
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: get him. Okay, well, maybe the story is right. More
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: men are getting classic, can you though? I don't want
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: them to draw them on while it's round. That ain't
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: a good no. No, Yeah, Now, your stomach looks like
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: a focke ball. Take him flatness, Steve, It's called a
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: tummy tuck and light bo? Yeah your light bo? How
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: long on that stage like that? Though? It's that's on you. Yeah,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: your behavior after your surgery. I didn't messed it up already.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: I know I'm gonna do it again. So I ain't
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: know I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I'm gonna get it too.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: I'm tired. I'm tired of going to the bathroom. My
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: stomach get in the first, then I come in sticking
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: that you fed up, it's like out and then you
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: come in and draw on the on the mins side. Yeah,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: I don't want to look like I'm in my first try.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Miss you just glowing the baby do. Women are seeking
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: a more natural look, They're saying, even with smaller booths,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: now women are doing that for a more natural looking body. So, um,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: you guys with this trend, you know what they're doing
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: now the daddy doovers, you guys with it sounds like
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: you are. I like the stomach that I don't need. Yeah,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: I got enough for the other. I'm really okay, you're rested?
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: If I asked some really really now, okay, I don't
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: know what you want? Okay, all this stunting going? All right?
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: I never heard nobody you got some, mom, I said,
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: no one ever. Right, I've heard you know you take
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: my breath away? You know I didn't gass I've heard
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: wait wait wait, wait, okay, okay, you make it okay, yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: all right, well you guys together. But I get the man.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: I get the man. Yeah, I get them too. But
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: the thing that shocked me and she said that the
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: women aren't getting as many Brazilian butt lifts because in Atlanta,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: that is because everybody got them. Yeah, they got to
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: wait on some old customers to grow up. They maxed out.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: All adults got them. They didn't bought them off. They do,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: they really do. Tiny tiny, tiny snatched waistline in the
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: big old big Yeah. Listen, when I'm in the airport
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: in Miami, there are ladies that are laying on They're
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: on the floor on a blanket. They're on their stomach
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: because they just got their butts done. They can't. Crazy thing.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Walk through the airport and see a bunch of people
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: laying on their stomach. You've seen it in Miami, yes,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: and there's been There was a there was a lady
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: sitting across from me. She stood up until it was
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: right time for the plane that took the take off.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: She stood up the entire time. Wow a lot. All right,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: thanks guys. Coming up at twenty minutes after, we'll have
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: You're listening Steven show. All right, A thirty two year
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: old man and women were arrested for indecent exposure. Uh.

- 1:19:21Speaker 1: be doing. You can work it now. Yeah, slow wind,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: slow wind, looking at them at the easy Okay, all right,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: coming our last break of the day. Quiet, we'll be
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: back to close out the show with some closing remark
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey right after this
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: you're listening show. All right, guys, here we are our
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Monday, a good Monday.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Yes it has now, let's do it and shout out
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: to my daughter. Can I give her a shout out?
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: First day of school, Tisha Farrel freshman, she's a freshman
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: at Yeah. Oh ahead girl, Wow and that time flies man,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: and congratulations again on your eighteenth anniversary. Thank you guys
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: on the Farrel, thank you. And we just dropped. We
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: just dropped my dog off at Texas and I'm yesterday,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: how you doing that? College? Dad had to stop a
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: mama from crying. Oh, I know the baby. You didn't
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: You didn't, girl, Yeah, he cried. Your uncle knows. Hey, man,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: I think I saw your nephew on the side of
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: the road. Just what happened to it? They dropped your
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: dog off at college? And then also it was my
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: daughter's fortieth birthday over the weekend. Yeah, Brandon Carle celebrated
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: that fortieth birthday. There was a lot of monuments on
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: this show. You got a young young mother who just
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: sending her child as a freshman in high school. Yeah,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: you had an older man to send his daughter off
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: the school as a freshman in college. And then you
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: had an older man who don't even know what the
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: hell their daughters it is doing. No damn. Hey, you know,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: I don't know if I shared this with you all
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: in a closing remark before, but I think Junior had
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: asked me something one day on Junior, what's on your mind?
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: I'm not really sure, but I think it bears repeating. Um.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: I think I was talking about motivation and discipline and
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: the difference between the two, because you know, um, I've
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: heard some people say, man, you gotta stay motivated. You
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: have to stay motivated, And I understand what they're saying
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: is that the motivation is the reason why. And sometimes
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: you have to remind yourself of the reason why. Often
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: why do you work so hard? Why are you putting
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: forth this effort you have? Why are you trying to
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: get there? But I want to make sure that you
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: understand the component of discipline because some mornings when I
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: wake up, I don't hear or feel the motivation. You
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Because I'm human, as is everybody else.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Some mornings you just wake up, man, and it's just
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: rough that morning. That morning is just rough. Now you
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: can help alleviate it by immediately start profession your gratitude
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: for what you have or what you've gone through, for
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: what he's through, for what he's taking you through, for
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: what he's about to occur in your life. You can
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: eradicate that to a degree, but sometimes you have to
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: be reminded of that. And so the motivation of why
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: you're doing what you're doing isn't always present and so
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: obvious to you, because it can be so daunting and
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: challenging at times. That you don't see the motivation you're
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: dealing with the problem and the obstacles in funny. Well,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: now this is where you have to turn to the
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: real necessary component, and that's your discipline. See, we wake
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: up and go to work every day, not always because
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: you're motivated to, but simply because you're disciplined to. And
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: what is discipline. Discipline is doing what you have to
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: do when you don't want to. That's discipline. That's why
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: some people's bodies look the way they look because they
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: are disciplined. They are disciplined to the diet, they are
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: disciplined to the workout. I heard the rock on the
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: tape one day till I work out every day. I'm
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: disciplined discipline to do that, no matter what happens. He
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: works out, and if I want to look better, I
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: have to dedicate myself to that mode of thinking when
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: it comes to working out. Now, I'm disciplined to work.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: I'm disciplined to take care of my family. I'm disciplined
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: to supply my people's needs. So I wake up and
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: I go to work when I don't want to. I
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: do what I have to even though I don't want to.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: You need those two things. To be successful, everybody, you
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: need motivation. You need a dream and a vision. You
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: need a reason why. But when that reason why ain't
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: so obvious and right in your face, you got to
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: have discipline. You've got to be dogmatic about it. That
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: even though my vision is not real clear to me today,
