- 2:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man. How amazing is that?
- 2:19Speaker 1: How good has God been to me? How good has
- 2:24Speaker 1: he been to you? Just check yourself sometimes, just sit up,
- 2:28Speaker 1: Just let's run a survey. Just look at your life,
- 2:31Speaker 1: where it's at. It might not be where you want
- 2:34Speaker 1: it to be, but that's probably some decisions you made.
- 2:36Speaker 1: But really, though, in spite of all the crazy mistakes
- 2:41Speaker 1: I didn't made, I mean, man, I look back at
- 2:46Speaker 1: some of the decisions I didn't came up with and
- 2:48Speaker 1: and man, it's it's it's just amazing. He let me live.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I mean, it's it's and and and to exist the
- 2:54Speaker 1: way I exist, that's nothing but grace, mercy, favor all
- 2:59Speaker 1: that is. That's what my mama praying for me when
- 3:01Speaker 1: I wasn't praying for myself. It had to be it, because, man,
- 3:04Speaker 1: I can truly tell you I have made enough mistakes man,
- 3:09Speaker 1: stuff you would never even know about, and recovered from
- 3:13Speaker 1: them all you can too, and I don't care what
- 3:17Speaker 1: you've done. Marvin Sapp has a song out that says
- 3:21Speaker 1: he saw the best in me when everyone else around
- 3:25Speaker 1: me could only see the worst in me. You know
- 3:28Speaker 1: that that's an important song man, especially you know. I
- 3:33Speaker 1: want to talk to men today because man, being a
- 3:39Speaker 1: man is so so difficult. Please know it has been
- 3:45Speaker 1: my quest ever since I was a little boy. My
- 3:48Speaker 1: father had one ambition, son, I don't care what you do. Both.
- 3:54Speaker 1: When I get through raising you, you will be a man.
- 3:57Speaker 1: That's all I want you to be. And he never
- 3:59Speaker 1: cared what I did for a living, and it never
- 4:01Speaker 1: made a difference to him. You're going to be a man.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Manhood is difficult. Now, ladies, just listening to this, I'm
- 4:08Speaker 1: not saying womanhood ain't. I don't know what it takes
- 4:11Speaker 1: to be a woman, so you know, but I do
- 4:14Speaker 1: know exactly what it takes to be a man. So
- 4:17Speaker 1: you know, sometimes when you talk to people on the radio,
- 4:20Speaker 1: you have to preface things because people are just go
- 4:23Speaker 1: he trying to make it look like womanhood. Ain't. No,
- 4:25Speaker 1: That's not what I'm doing. I'm just talking to men
- 4:28Speaker 1: today to explain to them that daigned by the self
- 4:31Speaker 1: and struggling trying to figure this thing out, that you
- 4:34Speaker 1: are not alone in your quest for manhood. That is difficult,
- 4:38Speaker 1: but I gotta I gotta tell you, man manhood is
- 4:43Speaker 1: that kind of difficult, and it becomes even more compounded
- 4:47Speaker 1: if a young boy does not have a male role model.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I've said it a thousand times. I'll say it again.
- 4:54Speaker 1: A young boy without a male role model is like
- 4:57Speaker 1: an explorer without a map. While I have a suggestion
- 5:01Speaker 1: for everybody that's struggling with manhood and all of the
- 5:05Speaker 1: men out there that are men, This messages for all
- 5:07Speaker 1: of us, and it's for me too. You know. I
- 5:10Speaker 1: was listening to George Myers the other day and she
- 5:14Speaker 1: made a statement, she said, sometimes you gotta do the
- 5:17Speaker 1: right thing, even when it feels wrong. You know, one
- 5:21Speaker 1: of the difficulties of manhood is pure pressure and the
- 5:28Speaker 1: misguided principles of manhood. See what God wants us to
- 5:33Speaker 1: be as men and what we believe manhood is sometimes
- 5:39Speaker 1: two different things. Give you an example. I wrote this
- 5:42Speaker 1: book for women, right and I was telling them the
- 5:45Speaker 1: three ways that a man shows his love, and I
- 5:48Speaker 1: call him three peas. We profess, we protect, and we provide.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Every man who is a man, that's how he exhibits love.
- 5:58Speaker 1: When I Talkie talking comforting with our great nurturists. But
- 6:02Speaker 1: when it comes down to to it, what we all
- 6:05Speaker 1: want to do, what is in our day DNA, is
- 6:07Speaker 1: to profess our love for something you as a woman,
- 6:11Speaker 1: to protect you as a woman, and to provide for
- 6:13Speaker 1: you as a woman. That's in our DNA. Now, sometimes
- 6:16Speaker 1: that gets messed up, and I'll give you an example.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Sometimes when a boy doesn't have the proper, real role
- 6:23Speaker 1: model in his life, he takes that principle of love
- 6:26Speaker 1: that we all possessing us every man, the professing part,
- 6:29Speaker 1: the protecting, and in the providing part, and we misplay it.
- 6:34Speaker 1: That's why gangs exist. Gangs exist off those three principles.
- 6:39Speaker 1: What's the first thing a gang member do he professed.
- 6:42Speaker 1: He claim a hood. That's the first thing you do.
- 6:45Speaker 1: This is my neighborhood. I'm Duce's trade, I'm triple h
- 6:48Speaker 1: I'm due de dude, I'm purple, I'm red, I'm blue.
- 6:51Speaker 1: The first thing they do is claim. That's professing. That's
- 6:55Speaker 1: how we show our love. But it's misguided though. Now
- 6:59Speaker 1: we're professing something that ain't even good for us. Your hood,
- 7:02Speaker 1: your game, your click. Now, guess what. Now we got
- 7:07Speaker 1: to protect it. So now as a protection part of
- 7:11Speaker 1: our love, here we go. You come down here, we're
- 7:14Speaker 1: gonna do this to you. You go over there, they're
- 7:17Speaker 1: gonna do that to you. You protect your hood, This
- 7:20Speaker 1: your turf, this all you got. You ain't nobody coming
- 7:22Speaker 1: down here with blue owned. Can't nobody come over here
- 7:24Speaker 1: with red on. You can't come over here with purple on.
- 7:26Speaker 1: You can't come over here with black and gold on.
- 7:28Speaker 1: And we and we protect that because that's in our DNA.
- 7:32Speaker 1: And then what's the third thing we provide? So guess
- 7:35Speaker 1: what the game need money? Guess what we do. We're
- 7:38Speaker 1: selling drugs, we're selling women, we're selling guns. It go
- 7:44Speaker 1: back to the same thing. Man, I don't know how
- 7:46Speaker 1: God gave it to me that way when I was
- 7:48Speaker 1: writing a book, but he showed it to me along
- 7:50Speaker 1: the way. That's how men love well. When you don't
- 7:53Speaker 1: have a role model in your life. Guess what, Now
- 7:55Speaker 1: that love is misplaced, it's misguided, it's off track. Ain't
- 7:59Speaker 1: no man told you that. Really you're supposed to take
- 8:01Speaker 1: this love and give it to a woman. You're really
- 8:03Speaker 1: supposed to profess, protect and provide for a woman, not
- 8:07Speaker 1: your gang set. Now you professing your hood, wrapping a color,
- 8:12Speaker 1: you protecting your territory, shooting people driving by coming over
- 8:15Speaker 1: you on your street, and then you provide. Now you
- 8:17Speaker 1: are here selling drugs and guns for the same thing.
- 8:20Speaker 1: When a boy does not have a male role model,
- 8:23Speaker 1: he has a misguided way of looking at manhood. Here's
- 8:28Speaker 1: a deal. See, God created all of us in his image.
- 8:32Speaker 1: That means He's put some of our DNA in him.
- 8:35Speaker 1: That's why it's in your DNA to profess, protect, and provide,
- 8:39Speaker 1: because guess what, that's what God do for us, because
- 8:43Speaker 1: we His children. I'm just talking to men right now.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I'm just telling you man, I had to wake up
- 8:49Speaker 1: about five years ago. I wasn't doing what God wanted
- 8:52Speaker 1: me to do, and then he shook me. He said, man,
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring about some changes in your life. I'm
- 8:58Speaker 1: gonna cause some things to happen that's gonna put you
- 9:01Speaker 1: in a position. And this time you're gonna listen to me,
- 9:04Speaker 1: because if you don't, you're gonna keep living in this
- 9:06Speaker 1: pain you've been in. But you put yourself in this pain.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I own no blame to no one else but myself.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Please know. I know that. And that's how you really
- 9:15Speaker 1: get to manhood when you figure out what you hadn't
- 9:18Speaker 1: done wrong. You can't blame this on none of your
- 9:20Speaker 1: exes because you are a man. You can't go my
- 9:22Speaker 1: ex dear this. No, No, you're a man, pardner. You
- 9:25Speaker 1: got to take responsibility for yours and yours alone. If
- 9:29Speaker 1: you got kids, you got to get to them some
- 9:32Speaker 1: kind of way. Write him a letter, send them the money.
- 9:35Speaker 1: If she won't let you see it, for the money, whatever,
- 9:38Speaker 1: send them money to a mama. Do what you're supposed
- 9:40Speaker 1: to do as a man. Do what God want you
- 9:43Speaker 1: to do, man, because he's not letting us off the
- 9:46Speaker 1: hook for what we're supposed to be just because you
- 9:49Speaker 1: ain't doing it. And if you do it you turn
- 9:51Speaker 1: your life around. Just holding that. The fellas today that
- 9:54Speaker 1: saw sorry about that. You're listening here I ain't and
- 10:03Speaker 1: here I be. You are listening to Steve Harvey is moaning.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Time is early. We rise. We ain't got this the
- 10:15Speaker 1: other time, all of these verses ain't got to ride
- 10:21Speaker 1: because that ain't what I do at this time. It's
- 10:26Speaker 1: early is moaning, and here I am for you. Come on, everybody,
- 10:33Speaker 1: watch what we do. It's the Moaning Show. Hell yeah,
- 10:39Speaker 1: it's the Moaning Show. Hell yeah. Last time, it's the
- 10:44Speaker 1: morning show. Hell yeah, a lot time it's the Moaning Show.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Who hell yeah. Charlie Starberry calling from Real Junior Kills Page.
- 10:58Speaker 1: The Magnificent Nephew. Very confused with his looks, he could
- 11:07Speaker 1: top top top. Yeah yeah, good morning Tuesday match someone
- 11:17Speaker 1: m you know what you just did right there, that's
- 11:20Speaker 1: that's talent. You know how you did that was talent
- 11:22Speaker 1: right there, that's talent. It's it's guilt. Yeah yeah, the
- 11:28Speaker 1: whole thing. Oh no, no, no, it's not the saying no,
- 11:31Speaker 1: it's it's the nerve. Yeah, lighten me, it's the nerve
- 11:38Speaker 1: to saying in that tone first thing in the morning
- 11:41Speaker 1: without asking no about right, that's where that's where the
- 11:44Speaker 1: talent come in, the nerve of you. Yeah, so so,
- 11:49Speaker 1: So when is a good time, because I need to
- 11:52Speaker 1: probably take this advice. When's a good time to tell
- 11:54Speaker 1: somebody they have no talent in the Pacific field? Well,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I try to make it a point to notify people
- 12:01Speaker 1: of that on a daily basis. I try not to
- 12:05Speaker 1: let a day go by without protelling somebody to stop. This.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Ain't what you do? You know now, I'm not a
- 12:11Speaker 1: troll or anything like that on the Internet. I choose
- 12:14Speaker 1: to let people live their life. But if you come
- 12:17Speaker 1: into my personal space thinking that you have a particular
- 12:21Speaker 1: skill set, and I recognize that you don't, but you
- 12:25Speaker 1: continue to come over to my house in my space
- 12:29Speaker 1: with it, I must stop you because, see, someone, I
- 12:34Speaker 1: am not the Church. The Church says come as you all,
- 12:39Speaker 1: and God loves you just the way you are. Clearly
- 12:43Speaker 1: I am not the Lord, and I don't love you
- 12:47Speaker 1: just the way you are. I love you if you
- 12:49Speaker 1: fix a cover band first, but I don't. Yeah, I don't.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I don't do that. I don't love you just the
- 12:58Speaker 1: way you are. You got to fix a couple of
- 13:02Speaker 1: things for you come back over here. So you know,
- 13:05Speaker 1: if you come over to me, you're a little strong,
- 13:07Speaker 1: I stand off. I say, hey, made you do something
- 13:09Speaker 1: much self? And then I had him you know, a
- 13:15Speaker 1: pack with cologne on it, old spice deoder it. You know,
- 13:21Speaker 1: I don't just tell y'all will give you a way

- 17:19Speaker 1: If it is incorrect, it has to be fixed. I
- 17:21Speaker 1: have to call the man out here to fix it.
- 17:24Speaker 1: And that's gonna call some money. I have to pay him.
- 17:26Speaker 1: All I'm saying is if that is the case, if
- 17:29Speaker 1: the paperwork is incorrect, it's not on us, and I
- 17:32Speaker 1: might have to charge you a little extra money just
- 17:34Speaker 1: so I can get it taken care of. To get
- 17:36Speaker 1: charge nothing. We ain't got no more money, man, we
- 17:39Speaker 1: ain't got no money. We ain't got no more I'm
- 17:43Speaker 1: gonna tell you. I'm gonna tell you one more time,
- 17:46Speaker 1: mister Kendrick. If don't see or chat, I'm coming after
- 17:50Speaker 1: this evening. And look at my hand the tune. So
- 17:52Speaker 1: I'm coming out there now. If the date and the

- 18:16Speaker 1: nobody come out here and dig it up nothing? I
- 18:20Speaker 1: I bet you. I'm digging a hole, and I'll put
- 18:22Speaker 1: you if you don't fix my hand. We're both were
- 18:26Speaker 1: going in the damn hole. That's what's gonna happen. We're
- 18:28Speaker 1: both going in that in because somebody want to fix
- 18:31Speaker 1: this around and put the room. You want to put
- 18:34Speaker 1: the spell. My hand ruin everything. I don't even answer
- 18:39Speaker 1: the damn phone. And my uncle get Expisiens region resid
- 18:45Speaker 1: fix nothing. Mean you're yelling at each other. We mean,
- 18:49Speaker 1: we don't do this. Yelling at each other is not
- 18:51Speaker 1: gonna fix the problems. I I still have to do
- 18:54Speaker 1: a step here. I have to look at this paperwork.
- 18:56Speaker 1: But when are you gonna look at it? Then? Rether

- 19:15Speaker 1: You dis respected me. You come out here. You ain't
- 19:18Speaker 1: no because when we both go to old days. That's
- 19:21Speaker 1: what I'm trying to tell you right now. Just me,

- 24:39Speaker 1: The only rabbit to star Roger rabbit girl Jack rabbit
- 24:44Speaker 1: so shot Wow, I'm getting ready to tell you right now.
- 24:51Speaker 1: The researchers believe that this is because Americans are getting
- 24:54Speaker 1: married older and starting their families later, so that it's
- 24:59Speaker 1: called jack rabbits. Ain't give a damn back. That's why
- 25:03Speaker 1: I was. I had nothing to lose. So if you're older,
- 25:08Speaker 1: you know you might be more tired as a parent. No,
- 25:11Speaker 1: which means less sex. No, I ain't had no money.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I wasn't working regular Yeah time time I was out here,
- 25:23Speaker 1: boy broke. Where are you yelling? Height? And was looking
- 25:32Speaker 1: for a home. What is this intensity level you have?
- 25:34Speaker 1: Because I was homeless, rabbit sunshine with you had it
- 25:40Speaker 1: forfar girl, so I could stay. I got it. What
- 25:44Speaker 1: you're doing tomorrow night? Be hire you Friday? Driving back
- 25:50Speaker 1: through time? Little did she know? I wouldn't even leave
- 25:53Speaker 1: it time man, Okay. In technology, they say is also
- 25:57Speaker 1: a major distraction and relationships. Now, Oh yeah, I didn't
- 26:00Speaker 1: have nothing back then, I have nothing but time. You
- 26:05Speaker 1: couldn't text me, you can't find me, you couldn't call me. Yeah,
- 26:10Speaker 1: I am dang. It was a good old day. Oh man.
- 26:16Speaker 1: That's what they're saying. People are spending more time looking
- 26:19Speaker 1: at their smartphones than they are talking talking dirty to
- 26:23Speaker 1: each other, now dirty on pay phone. Somebody will wait
- 26:30Speaker 1: phone sets over hard. No you can't. I'm standing up
- 26:37Speaker 1: in a booth. Is hard for me to get what
- 26:39Speaker 1: I need. And I'm standing hit this booth with these
- 26:41Speaker 1: folk glass sides, everybody looking at me. I'm trying to
- 26:46Speaker 1: trying to do it. But the phone booth, I'm standing
- 26:49Speaker 1: up the dop not if you grew and hit the
- 26:51Speaker 1: dough is over. I gotta do whatever that's my say.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Say little man, what is you in that talking out
- 26:59Speaker 1: hit the ruined? I shouldn't have been here, man, I don't. Yeah,
- 27:03Speaker 1: I got excited. Now I'm bad or bad. I have
- 27:05Speaker 1: to do a little bit man stupid. Oh man, I
- 27:10Speaker 1: had trouble then I'm trying to get it all in technology.
- 27:16Speaker 1: No technology, none of that. No hell no that pay
- 27:21Speaker 1: phones hard. Yeah, the phone saying you got long distance,
- 27:25Speaker 1: got put another part in there. God, you got to
- 27:30Speaker 1: hear up and say this. The greatest invention they had
- 27:34Speaker 1: was when they started dropping them pay phones down where
- 27:36Speaker 1: you could pull up your car and then let the
- 27:39Speaker 1: winder down. That was the greatest invention too. I used
- 27:42Speaker 1: to look for them, Wow, pull up over there, man,
- 27:45Speaker 1: I could arrange for phone calls. Call me back at
- 27:47Speaker 1: this number in full hour. I'll go over there and wait.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I'll be right there at that fact for the rest
- 27:53Speaker 1: of the night. I love your commitment to everything. How
- 27:56Speaker 1: you doing where I'm going? I ain't got no happen
- 28:00Speaker 1: rolling though, dog. I told the girl is where I live?
- 28:03Speaker 1: My home? No, it was a payphone. I signed let
- 28:08Speaker 1: no one. The girl told me one time you need
- 28:11Speaker 1: to answer, I got one. It ain't on I forgot.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I used to give away pay phone number till girls
- 28:20Speaker 1: where I live because I couldn't tell me I was home. O. Man,
- 28:24Speaker 1: every time my car. You ain't never that. I can't
- 28:26Speaker 1: even leave you know mentions. I know you're thinking about me.
- 28:30Speaker 1: All right? And on that note, the story Jack Rabbit
- 28:35Speaker 1: Sunshin you didn't lived, Jack Rabbit Sunshine you thank God
- 28:41Speaker 1: for the place, jr Rabbit keep your Jack. Ain't your
- 28:49Speaker 1: rabbit forever with the sun shining on it. Love live
- 28:56Speaker 1: Jack Rabbit, Jackson and the sun that shined on it.
- 29:01Speaker 1: All right, We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 29:03Speaker 1: Show coming up right after this. You're listening to Stow
- 29:10Speaker 1: Thanksgiving Us coming up and I just want to remind
- 29:13Speaker 1: you all to be conscious of the people that's in
- 29:16Speaker 1: your house. These are just a few different types of
- 29:20Speaker 1: people that you might have, and they're usually relatives. Now, oh,
- 29:25Speaker 1: here's the first one. You might have a relative, Dad
- 29:28Speaker 1: that's been done some hard times. Oh yeah, that's well,
- 29:34Speaker 1: so I'm familiar. Here's another one. You might have a
- 29:39Speaker 1: relative dad. This's got don't work clothes, but don't have
- 29:42Speaker 1: a job ahead uniform. He got on the mill of
- 29:50Speaker 1: high life. Come and got a damn post office uniform
- 29:56Speaker 1: on your hand. Start working on post office. Here's another
- 30:02Speaker 1: relative that you might have at Thanksgiving. Gather one of
- 30:06Speaker 1: them that have stole from their mama. So now you
- 30:08Speaker 1: gotta watch every damn move they mate. Oh yeah, let
- 30:14Speaker 1: him go in that back room. You'll not let him
- 30:16Speaker 1: go in that. Here's another relative that you might have
- 30:19Speaker 1: over on Thanksgiving. Mister black power one hundred percent, but
- 30:25Speaker 1: he's marrid to a white girl to the people. Here's
- 30:35Speaker 1: another relative that you might have over at the Thanksgiving dinner.
- 30:39Speaker 1: You got one in relatives, got a brand new car.
- 30:42Speaker 1: But what don't nobody know is he's sleeping in the
- 30:45Speaker 1: car because he ain't got place to live. Here is
- 30:53Speaker 1: the relative we all got, all of us got this
- 30:57Speaker 1: one ain't gonna bring a damn thing. We're gonna pack
- 31:01Speaker 1: six to go plates. Yes, I can't stand there, and
- 31:10Speaker 1: that man, I can't stand you go the other one.
- 31:14Speaker 1: You one of your relatives gonna bring some kids to
- 31:17Speaker 1: Thanksgiving that need their ass will, but you can't do
- 31:21Speaker 1: nothing about it because they ain't chills. Yeah, better to
- 31:27Speaker 1: be a whole trip. That's all of us in that,
- 31:30Speaker 1: just going punch on each other, just dipping into punch,
- 31:33Speaker 1: both owing it on each other. Black ass with you
- 31:38Speaker 1: table table is dangerous. Black cass can't read? Yeah, wait
- 31:48Speaker 1: what stand? You know the kids? We'll do all that
- 31:52Speaker 1: working but can't read. Yeah, damn show can't read cursing.
- 32:00Speaker 1: The show came through. Yeah, and you ever had the
- 32:03Speaker 1: relatives come over to your house? That ain't nobody invite,
- 32:07Speaker 1: but somehow they found out where everybody was? Yes, wonder
- 32:13Speaker 1: where y'all? Oh wow, crazy, you got the relative here?
- 32:24Speaker 1: The relatives come over, swamp them down. They don't eat park,
- 32:28Speaker 1: but just turn up the greens that got park in them.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, killing them that would be a hogmall
- 32:41Speaker 1: part of that right, last one. This the relative I
- 32:44Speaker 1: had on one year. I mean sure his ass don't
- 32:47Speaker 1: come back no more. Found his ass in the guess room,
- 32:52Speaker 1: fast asleep, not on top of the bed, but under
- 32:56Speaker 1: the clover. When you wake your front house, I bet
- 33:00Speaker 1: you are Oh yeah, dog, oh dog, I would I'm saying,
- 33:03Speaker 1: is in the guest rule. He was independing Lenny. All right, Steve,
- 33:09Speaker 1: let's get to the news. Ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Tripp,
- 33:14Speaker 1: thank you very much, everybody sand Trip with the news.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Let's get to go. Closing arguments have begun in the
- 33:20Speaker 1: Ahmed Aarbury case in Georgia, where the three white manacues
- 33:24Speaker 1: of chasing, corralling, and shooting an innocent, unarmed black jagger
- 33:27Speaker 1: to death are on trial. Some critics are as worried
- 33:30Speaker 1: about this judge as they were about the judge who
- 33:32Speaker 1: resided over the Kyle Rittenhouse case. In the Kenosha killer's case,
- 33:36Speaker 1: the judge refused to even let the prosecutors refer to
- 33:39Speaker 1: the men Kyle Rittenhouse shot as victims, and the judge
- 33:43Speaker 1: in this case the Aubrey murdered child is refusing to
- 33:45Speaker 1: let the jury hear about the shooter. Travis McMichael calling
- 33:49Speaker 1: mister Aubrey the F and N word as he lay dying,
- 33:54Speaker 1: or about McMichael's many racist comments on social media. Prosecutors
- 33:58Speaker 1: say that racism was the reason they assumed Aarbury was
- 34:01Speaker 1: a criminal, why they felt to get away with killing him.
- 34:04Speaker 1: They almost did get away, by the way, until there
- 34:06Speaker 1: was a human cry in the nation. There were no
- 34:09Speaker 1: charges filed against these guys. The defense claimed that they
- 34:12Speaker 1: were merely trying to make a citizen's arrest. By the way,
- 34:15Speaker 1: mister Aubrey hadn't stolen anything. He'd stopped by the building
- 34:19Speaker 1: under construction and sipson water out of the sink and
- 34:21Speaker 1: continue his run. He'd stopped by there often. It was
- 34:24Speaker 1: at least four other times that he had stopped by there.
- 34:26Speaker 1: The owner of the property confirmed that said that Aubury
- 34:29Speaker 1: was not the only person who'd stopped by, although there
- 34:32Speaker 1: were other black people a couple of white couple with
- 34:35Speaker 1: a bag also on his unfinished property. In Texas, two
- 34:39Speaker 1: Astro World security guards suing saying that they were injured
- 34:41Speaker 1: during a crowd surge. It took place at the recent
- 34:44Speaker 1: Traviscott concert Jackson Samuel Bush say they were hurt while
- 34:47Speaker 1: working the event. They're suing several of the parties involved,
- 34:50Speaker 1: including the firm that hired them for the job. Their
- 34:53Speaker 1: suit says, in part that quote defendants failed to provide
- 34:55Speaker 1: a safe working place or basic training. Police and Walkershaw,
- 35:00Speaker 1: Wisconsin holding a man in connection with the five people
- 35:02Speaker 1: killed and over forty others injured two days ago when
- 35:05Speaker 1: a car plowed into that town's Christmas parade. Police Chief
- 35:08Speaker 1: Dan Thompson says thirty nine year O'Dowd Brooks was involved
- 35:11Speaker 1: in another situation just before the carnage occurred. We have
- 35:14Speaker 1: information that the suspect prior to Insla was involved into
- 35:17Speaker 1: domestic disturbance which was just minaced prior, and the suspect
- 35:21Speaker 1: left that scene just prior to our arrival to the
- 35:24Speaker 1: domestic disturbance. CO say he tried to run his girlfriend
- 35:28Speaker 1: over with that same car. Sad and shocking news authorities
- 35:31Speaker 1: say that Malikashire Baz, one of Malcolm X's daughters, was
- 35:35Speaker 1: found dead yesterday evening in her Brooklyn, New York City apartment.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Malika was fifty six. Her death is not considered suspicious,
- 35:43Speaker 1: although a cause of death has not been determined. She
- 35:45Speaker 1: was discovered by her daughter Malika's death comes only two
- 35:48Speaker 1: days after two of the men who served two decades
- 35:51Speaker 1: behind bars for assassinating her father were exonerated, one posthumously.
- 35:55Speaker 1: All of us here at WBLS send our heartfelt condoless
- 35:59Speaker 1: and all of us on the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 36:01Speaker 1: to the Shabbas family. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:04Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening show. Getting together with family for
- 36:09Speaker 1: Thanksgiving can definitely be stressful, really a stressful time for
- 36:14Speaker 1: some people, some families. All those extended relatives in one
- 36:17Speaker 1: place with different opinions, you know, they're bound to set
- 36:20Speaker 1: off a few fights. So most people just tend to
- 36:23Speaker 1: be careful of what they say. They tend to be,
- 36:25Speaker 1: you know, a little leary of what's not going to
- 36:27Speaker 1: be in my house. That's what I was gonna ask you. So,
- 36:33Speaker 1: are there some subjects that you're told that are totally
- 36:35Speaker 1: off limits that you don't bring up or you just
- 36:37Speaker 1: do whatever? Because now this is my house. I say
- 36:39Speaker 1: what I want to say, but I did what. I
- 36:41Speaker 1: don't allow it in my house. Anybody to just pray, yeah,
- 36:46Speaker 1: like over the food? You mean, yeah, I pigs who
- 36:49Speaker 1: pray like pop bridges, like Marjorie daddy, he could pray
- 36:53Speaker 1: all the food. I don't like other people coming to
- 36:55Speaker 1: the house. That happened one time, Marjorie, whole family with that.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Do you ever pray? Yeah? I pray it'd be so
- 37:01Speaker 1: short we eat everybody. My Thanksgiving prayer same as my grace.
- 37:07Speaker 1: You know what's but Steve, how do you handle that?
- 37:10Speaker 1: Because if somebody's there and say, well, can I bless
- 37:13Speaker 1: the food? Steve say no, No, I say no, Pop
- 37:16Speaker 1: Bridge is bless it? Go head pop? And he jumped
- 37:19Speaker 1: right in. It's pretty simple that ain't Now We had
- 37:23Speaker 1: this lady. She told me, I want my husband and
- 37:25Speaker 1: bless your food. He does a good Thanksgiving prayer not
- 37:28Speaker 1: over here. Was he a pastor? I don't know what
- 37:31Speaker 1: it was, but he ain't him to do it up
- 37:32Speaker 1: in him. I don't know what it is those people
- 37:34Speaker 1: that are not pastors that they ministers and they don't
- 37:37Speaker 1: get the rid of see right there ministers all that.
- 37:40Speaker 1: He got a really good Thanksgiving prayer? What does mean
- 37:44Speaker 1: it ain't better than this damn turkey? Yeah, he was
- 37:48Speaker 1: an elder at our church. He prayed too long? So long? Yes,
- 37:55Speaker 1: so I mean so long? And you couldn't. Every time
- 37:59Speaker 1: you thought he was stop, he kept going. All he
- 38:01Speaker 1: was throwing was taking a breath. You know what bothers me?
- 38:06Speaker 1: That hole taking food out the house at the end,
- 38:10Speaker 1: just wrapping up tubs and tubs and foods. People getting
- 38:13Speaker 1: their little to gold plate? How am I gonna eat
- 38:15Speaker 1: on Friday? Tommy? You need to cook some at How
- 38:20Speaker 1: am I gonna do? That's right, Tommy? How is she
- 38:22Speaker 1: gonna eat? Cook? Also? You mean people that are invited
- 38:26Speaker 1: to dinner, Tommy, and they get it to gold plate?
- 38:29Speaker 1: You know, you know, one plate? Okay, cool? But when
- 38:32Speaker 1: I see you loading up three folk plates a fall
- 38:34Speaker 1: and it still come on, man, really y'all starving over there?
- 38:38Speaker 1: They may be pretty much well, but this high work
- 38:43Speaker 1: at our house because you know, usually Marjorie know what
- 38:47Speaker 1: I like, She'll put that in the other refrigerator and
- 38:51Speaker 1: the other refrigerator. Oh okay, I'm now in an argument
- 38:55Speaker 1: for me to get to that. Huh man, Now, how
- 38:58Speaker 1: many refrigerators at your house? The one in the kitchen,
- 39:08Speaker 1: in the kitchen, you know, a bunch of fridgerator car man.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Can't wait to be that all right? Coming up next,
- 39:19Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this,
- 39:22Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steven Show. Okay, nephew, all right, now,
- 39:28Speaker 1: Carlo says you're pretty good at frying turkeys. He's excellent.
- 39:32Speaker 1: She's always talking about your delicious frying turkeys. So can
- 39:35Speaker 1: you break it down as to what you do? I mean,
- 39:38Speaker 1: you know, and how you do it and everything. Let
- 39:40Speaker 1: me know, because maybe I'll try one this year. You
- 39:44Speaker 1: don't try to Tommy, I'll tell Tommy's gonna tell me.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Let's let's let's let's deal with with just being uh say, first,
- 39:55Speaker 1: make sure your turkey is completely completely thought out before
- 39:59Speaker 1: you decide to right turkey, all right, because there's a
- 40:01Speaker 1: lot of people that And make sure that it is
- 40:04Speaker 1: room temperature. Okay, so a lot of people. I personally,
- 40:07Speaker 1: I'll season my turkey. I'll season my turkey on Monday.
- 40:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna shoot it up because that's where it's so
- 40:15Speaker 1: delicious the season. So can you reveal, Nephew, some of this?
- 40:19Speaker 1: I will. I will never tell you what I'm shooting
- 40:26Speaker 1: in the turkey, Okay, right, I mean, man, okay, you
- 40:31Speaker 1: know what? They don't say nothing else this second? What
- 40:35Speaker 1: is the big deal you gotta put some special seasons. Sure,
- 40:41Speaker 1: you put your season all together. You put it in
- 40:43Speaker 1: a processor and it's very liquidy, and you shoot it up.
- 40:45Speaker 1: They have a big huge syringe that you shoot the
- 40:48Speaker 1: turkey up with and you shoot it all over the turkey. Okay,
- 40:51Speaker 1: you got that part. Okay, got it. Yes, I'm at
- 40:54Speaker 1: Let me talk to call. So after that call, after
- 40:58Speaker 1: that caller, you put your your turt in the fridge.
- 41:01Speaker 1: It's Monday, Okay, it's Monday. Now let it sit for
- 41:06Speaker 1: twenty four hours. That's until at least Tuesday. Right now.
- 41:10Speaker 1: I normally put it back in the freezer because I
- 41:12Speaker 1: don't like to let it sit that long, all right,
- 41:14Speaker 1: So I'll let it. I'll let it freeze back up.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Now Wednesday night, take it out, thought out. We are
- 41:23Speaker 1: not we are not gonna drop it into the grease
- 41:25Speaker 1: until Thursday, an hour before dinner is when we're gonna
- 41:29Speaker 1: drop it in. And you're telling people how you fried turkeys.
- 41:32Speaker 1: This is how I do it. Now, what I want
- 41:35Speaker 1: you to do, though, I want you to make sure
- 41:37Speaker 1: that the turkeys room temperature. So take it out, let
- 41:42Speaker 1: it sit out, and until it's time to drop it in.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Because if you if I promise you. If it's a
- 41:47Speaker 1: little bit of freeze still in there, this iced up, now,
- 41:50Speaker 1: you're gonna have some problems. And you know, there's been
- 41:53Speaker 1: turkeys that's been shot straight through the route. Turkeys burnt
- 41:57Speaker 1: down some garages, so you got to know what you're
- 41:59Speaker 1: doing with these turkeys. Yeah, a lot of firefighters are
- 42:03Speaker 1: shaking their heads up and down listening. Yeah. Here come Thanksgiving.
- 42:06Speaker 1: We're gonna be on call, right right. Okay, I got
- 42:09Speaker 1: it so far. Okay, when you get to that Okay, Okay, Shirley,
- 42:12Speaker 1: what I said, do what I say. Do shit. You
- 42:15Speaker 1: take it out, you thought out, then you put it
- 42:17Speaker 1: back in the freezer, then you put you shoot it
- 42:19Speaker 1: up with a syringe with some stuff in it, and
- 42:22Speaker 1: then you freeze it again, and then you take it
- 42:24Speaker 1: back out. Okay, I'm with you. Go ahead, no more.
- 42:30Speaker 1: But see the street down right there. You burnt your
- 42:34Speaker 1: whole street down. Okay, go on, go on, I'm listening.
- 42:40Speaker 1: You are three pounds, you're gonna you're gonna fry three
- 42:43Speaker 1: pounds every for every other let's start it off. For
- 42:46Speaker 1: every pound is three minutes, okay, for every pound your turkey, ways,
- 42:52Speaker 1: it's three minutes. Okay, okay, So you got a ten
- 42:54Speaker 1: pound turkey thirty minutes, it's thirty minutes. Then you might
- 42:58Speaker 1: want to let it cook a minute or two over
- 43:00Speaker 1: just to make sure completely that it's done all the
- 43:02Speaker 1: way through. But trust me, three pounds per three minutes
- 43:05Speaker 1: per pound, you are on point. Take it out, let
- 43:08Speaker 1: it sit, and I promise you you got a pipe
- 43:10Speaker 1: in hot turkey. Now for me, I'm gonna take it out,
- 43:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna wrap it in fall, I'm gonna put it
- 43:14Speaker 1: in the bag, and then I got to go cross
- 43:16Speaker 1: town and take it to call a house because call
- 43:18Speaker 1: of order turkey every Thanksgiving and they have delicious. I'm
- 43:22Speaker 1: going to call nutst right now. We got a turkey.
- 43:25Speaker 1: I'm making fried turkey for Thanksgiving. This okay, quick question, Tommy,
- 43:29Speaker 1: what kind of oil do you use peanut on? You
- 43:32Speaker 1: gotta have peanut ois. I'm sorry I missed that call.
- 43:34Speaker 1: You gotta have peanut on all right. This is not
- 43:36Speaker 1: something you put crisco or olive oil. It is a
- 43:39Speaker 1: pan nut oil. So if you have some people that
- 43:41Speaker 1: are coming to dinner that have issues with peanuts, you
- 43:44Speaker 1: want to make sure you let everybody know this. It's
- 43:46Speaker 1: been Friday and peanut oi. Okay, okay, okay, so this
- 43:50Speaker 1: is good when you're gonna tell us how to make
- 43:53Speaker 1: the dressing in mac and cheese next, right, because I
- 43:55Speaker 1: gotta have a whole dinner. I just can't have fried
- 43:57Speaker 1: turkey now my mac and cheese. I can't get out
- 43:59Speaker 1: of way too. And I do not know how to
- 44:01Speaker 1: make driss. I do not know how to make dress fair.
- 44:05Speaker 1: The people that cook have secrets, okay, but you don't
- 44:09Speaker 1: know that. Well, at least we'll have turkey for Thankgiving,
- 44:12Speaker 1: all right, thank you, nephew. Coming up your bring phone

- 46:21Speaker 1: what's up? We were actually, uh given a phone call
- 46:25Speaker 1: by your wife? Your wife is? Is that correct? Yeah? Okay, well, um,
- 46:31Speaker 1: you know your wife's Um, your wife's birthday is coming
- 46:33Speaker 1: up pretty soon, is that right? Yeah? Yeah, so a
- 46:36Speaker 1: couple of weeks. Yeah, it's coming up. Okay, have you
- 46:39Speaker 1: have you decided on getting or anything or have you
- 46:42Speaker 1: purchased anything yet? No? No, I got a couple of
- 46:45Speaker 1: days in mind. Um. Well, actually, uh, we got a
- 46:49Speaker 1: call from from I think we've got something that's gonna
- 46:53Speaker 1: that's gonna really help you guys. And and something I
- 46:57Speaker 1: think that she wanted to recommend, something that you probably
- 47:00Speaker 1: wouldn't wouldn't think about getting on is okay and racking
- 47:06Speaker 1: my brain? So is actually gave us the call. She's
- 47:10Speaker 1: actually had an idea, you know, what she would really
- 47:12Speaker 1: really like for her birthday present? So what's her name?
- 47:15Speaker 1: You're coming Bigger and Better. Um, like I said, she
- 47:20Speaker 1: called you. I'm sorry she called you to give me
- 47:24Speaker 1: idea on what I should get her for her birthday.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Uh yeah, well this is this is something that's a
- 47:29Speaker 1: little a little different, and it's something that you probably
- 47:32Speaker 1: would never in a million years think of. But here
- 47:34Speaker 1: at Bigger and Better, where we make you large and
- 47:36Speaker 1: in charge, we actually do some things that we definitely
- 47:40Speaker 1: know you wouldn't have thought of. So I definitely understand
- 47:43Speaker 1: her giving what's your name against Sam Scott Scott Scott,
- 47:49Speaker 1: get to the point what you're selling actually let us
- 47:53Speaker 1: know that there's some things that are really really lacking
- 47:56Speaker 1: between you guys, and she would very much like for
- 48:00Speaker 1: her birthday where you can be a lot more well endowed.
- 48:04Speaker 1: So you know, that's what we do here at Bigger
- 48:06Speaker 1: and Better. We actually hello, what I could be more wet,
- 48:10Speaker 1: more well endowed. Sure, so I think really what's going
- 48:13Speaker 1: on is Beyonca is really not satisfied right now. She
- 48:16Speaker 1: called you to tell you that I'm not when you
- 48:20Speaker 1: meet willing doubt my junk. So you're you're, you're, you're
- 48:23Speaker 1: you're you're inadequate. You know what I mean? You're you're
- 48:26Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? What's what's the name of this
- 48:29Speaker 1: comping in Bigger and Better where we make you larger

- 51:43Speaker 1: You don't know what why your wife here. It doesn't matter.
- 51:46Speaker 1: If I can get on the line, I can figure

- 51:53Speaker 1: here's the problem. You're tiny and you don't want to
- 51:56Speaker 1: admit it. I ain't even getting you know me, man,
- 51:58Speaker 1: You never see me. You don't know any think about me.
- 52:00Speaker 1: I can't even believe my wife's even called you. But
- 52:03Speaker 1: just this is just how you do business. Call me
- 52:06Speaker 1: and call me. I'm tiny, sir, So I'm playing something
- 52:09Speaker 1: to you. I'm not only the president, but I'm also
- 52:11Speaker 1: a client, Sir. I don't give up what you are, Okay, okay?
- 52:15Speaker 1: Then there are some other things that let us know
- 52:18Speaker 1: as well. What the would that mean? She also wanted
- 52:20Speaker 1: me to tell you that this is nephew Tommy from
- 52:23Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your wife just praying for calls
- 52:26Speaker 1: you bad man, funny man. I'm on here over here
- 52:34Speaker 1: looking at up in the mirror kind of. I thought
- 52:38Speaker 1: I was good, but I got a little nervous. I

- 53:54Speaker 1: you here. It is just strawberry letter thanks Na. Subject,
- 53:58Speaker 1: will my man choose me for the holidays? Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:03Speaker 1: I am a thirty year old, beautiful and successful woman
- 54:06Speaker 1: and I'm in love with a forty four year old,
- 54:09Speaker 1: well educated hunk that swept me off my feet. When
- 54:13Speaker 1: I met him. He told me that he was seeing
- 54:16Speaker 1: someone in a long distance relationship, but I still started
- 54:19Speaker 1: dating this man despite the news. After six months of dating,
- 54:23Speaker 1: I did some research and found out that he proposed
- 54:26Speaker 1: to this woman and she has set a wedding date.
- 54:29Speaker 1: I never confronted him about it, but it tore me
- 54:32Speaker 1: apart emotionally. I figured if I started an argument about it,
- 54:36Speaker 1: I would push him away and his fiance would win.
- 54:39Speaker 1: So I have kept the news to myself. I'm trying
- 54:43Speaker 1: my best to make him fall in love with me
- 54:45Speaker 1: and leave her. I know the old saying if he
- 54:47Speaker 1: cheats on her, he'll cheat on you. But I believe
- 54:51Speaker 1: in love and I know we have something special. The
- 54:54Speaker 1: loving is so good, and he takes me on some
- 54:57Speaker 1: amazing trips all across the world. We are always together
- 55:02Speaker 1: when he's not out of town. Visiting the other woman.
- 55:05Speaker 1: I am overly jealous, so I just need to know
- 55:08Speaker 1: how I can win him over before his fiance orders
- 55:12Speaker 1: the wedding invitations. The holidays are coming up and I
- 55:15Speaker 1: don't want to spend them without him, so time is
- 55:18Speaker 1: of the essence. How do I tell this man that
- 55:20Speaker 1: I am in love with him and will take any
- 55:24Speaker 1: and every risk when it comes to getting him to myself.
- 55:27Speaker 1: It's totally possible to be in love with two people
- 55:31Speaker 1: at the same time, so he's probably struggling internally with
- 55:35Speaker 1: who he should be with. Maybe if I tell his
- 55:38Speaker 1: fiance about our relationship, she will just break up with
- 55:42Speaker 1: him and go away. It may make him mad, but
- 55:47Speaker 1: in the end he will still have me, and I
- 55:49Speaker 1: know we can be happy together. I'm head over heels
- 55:53Speaker 1: for this man, and I'm planning to invite him to
- 55:55Speaker 1: Thanksgiving dinner so my family can meet him. How shall
- 55:58Speaker 1: I handle How should I handle this love triangle? Do
- 56:01Speaker 1: you hear yourself? Do you hear yourself? Because listen closely.
- 56:07Speaker 1: This is this is the sound of desperation, all right,
- 56:11Speaker 1: this is the sound of delusion in this letter. So
- 56:14Speaker 1: I want you to hear yourself. You are so short
- 56:18Speaker 1: changing yourself in this relationship. You are number two. That's it,
- 56:23Speaker 1: that's all. You are the side piece, and you're okay
- 56:27Speaker 1: with that. I think you're really okay with it because
- 56:30Speaker 1: he told you his status when you, guys, you know,
- 56:32Speaker 1: first got together. He told you he was in a
- 56:34Speaker 1: long distance relationship. You even researched it, you did your
- 56:38Speaker 1: research and your words. You still dated him despite the news.
- 56:43Speaker 1: You started dating him, and that's the problem. I mean, really,
- 56:48Speaker 1: what is his incentive to leave his fiance and get
- 56:51Speaker 1: with you number two? What is it He's getting everything
- 56:54Speaker 1: from you without having to change a thing he's doing.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I mean the question then become, when are you going
- 57:01Speaker 1: to wake up and realize that if he was going
- 57:03Speaker 1: to leave her for you, don't you think he would
- 57:05Speaker 1: have waited to propose to her. I mean, you know,
- 57:09Speaker 1: you did all the research. You know, maybe he would
- 57:12Speaker 1: kind of see where the relationship could go with you
- 57:15Speaker 1: and him, or maybe that you would have won him
- 57:17Speaker 1: over by now you think it's a competition between the
- 57:20Speaker 1: fiance and you because you're you're willing to take any
- 57:23Speaker 1: and every risk to get him. You know, I gotta
- 57:26Speaker 1: tell you, please, don't bother inviting him to dinner, because
- 57:30Speaker 1: you know where he's gonna be. He's gonna be with
- 57:32Speaker 1: his fiance and her family kicking it over there for
- 57:35Speaker 1: Thanksgiving because they're planning a wedding, they're getting married. You
- 57:38Speaker 1: are the side piece, all right, Steve, Well, I don't
- 57:44Speaker 1: know what Shirley's done a really excellent job with this.
- 57:47Speaker 1: All you can do is just get it worded in
- 57:49Speaker 1: a different way. So here we go. Well, my man
- 57:53Speaker 1: choose me for the holiday. The answer to that question
- 57:57Speaker 1: is no. And the answer to that question no. It's
- 58:00Speaker 1: simply because number twos don't get holidays. You don't get Christmas,
- 58:06Speaker 1: you don't get Thanksgiving, you don't get Fourth of July barbecues.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Those are the holidays. You don't get the whole Valentine's dating.
- 58:15Speaker 1: You can't get them days right there. You don't get anniversaries.
- 58:19Speaker 1: You don't get none of that because you will never
- 58:21Speaker 1: have an anniversary. Number two don't get anniversary dates. Number
- 58:25Speaker 1: ones get anniversary dates. You don't even have to be
- 58:27Speaker 1: married to your number one have an anniversity just the
- 58:30Speaker 1: third year we've been knowing each other. You don't do
- 58:32Speaker 1: that to the number twos. You don't go we've been
- 58:34Speaker 1: seeing each other for three years. Now, let's go out
- 58:37Speaker 1: and celebrate. No, there's no celebration. You don't celebrate number twos.
- 58:43Speaker 1: When I met him, he told me he was seeing
- 58:45Speaker 1: someone in a long distance relationship. Then you know what
- 58:48Speaker 1: you're saying right after that? But I still dated this
- 58:51Speaker 1: man despite the news. Okay, so you stupid all you
- 58:56Speaker 1: just did what you wanted to do. You dated Demand
- 58:59Speaker 1: anywhere Demand and told you I got somebody. It's a
- 59:03Speaker 1: long dis relationship. I got somebody. You started dating the
- 59:07Speaker 1: man anyway. Then after some six months of dating, you
- 59:11Speaker 1: did some research and found out that he proposed in
- 59:14Speaker 1: this woman as she has set a waiting date. What's
- 59:18Speaker 1: the surprise. I never confronted him about it, but it
- 59:21Speaker 1: told me a party. Mostly. I figured if I started
- 59:24Speaker 1: an argument about it, I pushed him away and this
- 59:26Speaker 1: fiance will win. The fiance is already went in. She
- 59:31Speaker 1: the fiance. Six months in, you found out they set
- 59:35Speaker 1: a date for a wed. He asked her, she just
- 59:39Speaker 1: put this date on Facebook. He asked the woman to
- 59:43Speaker 1: marry him. Has he asked you? Has he mentioned marriage
- 59:48Speaker 1: to you? He said nothing? By no, damn family with
- 59:51Speaker 1: you stupid letter. Make me sick and to tell the
- 59:56Speaker 1: rest of him. Right after this shut up listening show,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letters. Subject well, my
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: man choose me for the holidays? This woman to met
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: she thirty, She met just for the year old, well
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: for the for year old, well educated hunks swept you
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: off your feet when you met him. He told me
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: he was seeing somebody. You still dated the man. Bam.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Six months later you did some research, that's social media,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: found out that he proposed to this woman. She even
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: set a wedding day. You ain't never said nothing to
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: him about the man. Figure if you started argument and
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: push him away. Now you want to know in the
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: letter where my man choose me for the holidays? I'm
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: telling you know because number twos don't get holidays. Holidays
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: a reserved for number one. You can't be number two
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: and get a holiday. You can get some Fridays, get
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: a Sundy here and there. Wait, what is that? What
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: do they get? Steve? You can get some Fridays and
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: occasional Saturday. But I said, usually it's the same day
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: of the week. That he then told his wife on
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: number one that he does a certain thing on a
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: certain night, and that turns that night into YO night.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I played poking with the boys on Tuesday nights, and
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I'd be home late. Then that night is YO night.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: You don't get in the night you want. Now, here's
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: a delusional part, like Shirley say, I'm trying my best
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: to make him fall in love with me and leave her.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: What Let me ask something, how do you do that?
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: How as the number two do you make the man
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: fall in love with you and leave the number one?
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: I know the old thing. If he cheats on her
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: here cheat on you? That ain't got nothing to do
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: with this. No, he's cheating on her with you. You
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: you tell my head cheat on you? No, you to you?
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: But I believe in love. Stop it. You just say
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: you believe in love. He's marrying a woman, and I
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: know we have something special. You all this is in
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: your mind. You have nothing special. Your number two two's
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: ain't special? Ain't you a? And all this here it
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: ain't no two A two plus? This ain't a seat
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: an economy, that's ain't it economy super with extry leg room.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: You're still in the back. Economy plus you're still in
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: the back. But it's my room. Is still good, but
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: you're in the back door. You're not the first class seat,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: and you can't come up here with the economy plus ticket.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: I can sit on the exit row and get you
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: a little bit of extra if that's what you want.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: But look at that as a lot of people on
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: the exit row. The loving is good, and he takes
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: me on amazing trips all across the world. You haven't
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: been to the Bahamas? Who ain't been there? She's making
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: this sound bigger than it is. Yours across the world
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: stopped San Diego. Ain't all across the world. Then here's
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: another line. We are always together when he's not out
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: of town. Hello, do you understand this? You're always together
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: when he's not out of town. You just said he
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: take you all around the world. Girl, when you're out
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: of town, he would hull. You ain't been nowhere, fly
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: to Atlanta. Ain't across the world when he's not out
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: of town visiting the other woman. I'm overly jealous. So
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: I just need to know how can I win him
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: over before his fiance orders to wear an invitation? Way
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: too late for that. They just set the date. They
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: aren't putting money down on places. She Brent dressed shot.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I've been damned these invitations. The holidays are coming up,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: and I don't want to spend them without health. You are,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: this is your friend's holiday. It's only been six months.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: You've never been to the holidays before. You're spending those
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: holidays alone? You're number two. It's only been six months. Hell,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: it's November, so you met him prior to the summer.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: You're not. They don't get holidays, sweetie. I'm sorry, and
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I don't want to spend them without him. So time
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: is of the essence, girl, Thanksgiving, down Giving. It's after tomorrow. Yeah,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: but they said nothing to you about Thanksgiving. Yeah, because
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: he ain't gonna be hel he he cast to go
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: out of town. We're gonna tell his fiance I ain't
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: coming to wonder what is your fen to do? Then?
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: How do I tell this man that I'm in love
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: with him and will take every risk to cans of
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: getting him to myself. You've already taken the risk. The
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: man told you was in a relationship, and you dated
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: him anyway. You took the risk. You've taken all the risks. Now,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: then you go right here, it's possible to be in
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: love with two people at the same time. So I
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: know he's probably struggling internally with who he should be
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: with little girl. The struggle isn't with who she should
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: be with. The struggle is how to tell you he's
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: with her and Finn to getting married. Remember that he
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: has not told you this for a reason, because the
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: only struggle is when and how to tell you this
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: is over. Because I'm Finn to move this woman in
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: my house. That's the struggle to struggle aim. But you love, sister,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: pack your bags of he ain't coming over for Thankgiving,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: and do not call that woman because you could get shot.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: All those of my closing remarks today, y'all have a
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: great weekend. All right. You can post your comments on
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter. It's Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: and please don't forget to check out the Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: podcast on demand now coming up at forty six after
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: the hour. I think Steve had more to add to
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: this Strawberry Letter, write Steve, We're gonna do a little
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: bit more. Let's let this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: All right, Steve, you said you had some more to
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: add to the strawberry letter, subject, why my will my
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: man choose me for the holidays? For thold of you
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: that don't know, this girl is thirty years old dating
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: this forty four year old man swept off his feet.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: He told her on day one he's in seeing someone
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: in a long relationship. But you dated this man anyway
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: despite the news. Six months of dating. Did some research
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: found out the woman has setting wedding date with He
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: proposed to this woman. Now, this girl who wrote the
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: letter hasn't said anything to him about it, but she's
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: torn up. She's scared to start argument because it'll push
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: him away and his fiance will win. So she's kept
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: the news to the same to kept it all to himself.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: She's trying to figure out the best way to make
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: this man fall in love with her and leave her.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: I know the old saying, if he cheats on her,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: here cheat on you. But I believe in love. Now
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: she's talking about the man take on some amazing trips
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: all across the world. The girl had been in San Diego,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: and now she came all around the world. San Diego
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: it's just close to Mexico. You did, you saw the sign,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: but you didn't actually go to to your wan. He
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: don't want to go. No, damn way. Coach's crazy. Now anyway,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: how do I wear him over before the fiance orders
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: to wed an invitation? Holidays is coming up. I don't
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: want to spend him with him, so times of the elsenes.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: How do I tell this man I'm in love with
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: him and would take every risk into getting him to myself.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Totally possible. Well, now he's probably struggling with who he
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: should be with. Then here was the line the girl said,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: maybe if I tell his fiance about our relationship, she
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: would just break up with him and go away. It
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: may make him mad, but in the end he will
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: still have me and I know we can be happy together.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Pump your brakes, little girl. You've obviously never gone to
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: a woman to tell her that you are the other woman.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: H They do get mad and it dud mess the
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: dude up with his girl for a while, but they
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: usually recover. Now he is going to hate you for
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: the rest of your life and you will have no
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: relationship with him, none whatsoever. And it is due. So
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: long as you know that, good luck. I'm planning on
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: inviting him to Thanksgiving. Don't do that. That man, don't
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: do that. When Turkey over there by yourself, they're gonna
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: have a place setting with somebody. Ass ain't gonna be there.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: And baby, and when thanks Giving up Thanksgiving, Dave to
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: the moment Thanksgiving, say nothing to you about Thanksgiving? I
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: like not Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving? Thank you? No, no hold
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: on a second coming up more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Morning Show, so listen. If you want to end a relationship,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: here's the question. Do you wait until after the holidays
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: or do you get out before having to hang out
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: with your family? So Thanksgiving might be more high stakes
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: at the time of COVID, but it's probably the safest
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: holiday to break up close to. So here is the question.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Between Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's is there and is
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: there any good time to split up? Why am I
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: looking at you, Tommy? You know why? Well, you're supposed
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: to start breaking up around Halloween. But we're in the
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: week of right now though, Thanksgiving, so now well, then
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: then you might want to break up to day this
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: morning to day? If why would you I break up
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: to date and ride that all the way to like
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: mid January. But this is the day to do it, yesterday,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: And you can just come up with a cold argument.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: Just just just started anything. It don't matter what it is.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Who the hell put water in the tarlet? How do
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: how do how do water get it my tarlet? I
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: just want you know what I'm saying, Just who, who
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: the hell who water and the tarlet? That's all I
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: want to know. That's an argument. Fine argument, fine one.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Why why do you say that? Because you ain't got
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: to see the person, You could just zoom mass. They
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: ain't got to be in the same room to break up.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: You know, you ain't got the moment, you ain't got
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: to worry about, no altercations and then going crazy getting
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: you and stuff you sting you, and then when it
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: get and then when it gets the way you don't
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: want to, you just zoom out. You lead meeting who's
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: gonna stay there? And you know, and just take all
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: of that. Yeah, I'm zooming. I'm I'm a proponent of
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: breaking up around Thanksgiving. I think that's the ideal time
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: because normally if you don't like her, Yeah, Thanksgiving this
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: best time break up Because you don't like her, she
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: probably just like her family so you know, yeah, I'm
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: pretty sure you don't need to sit around all these
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: other people house eating. You know, people usually have badass food. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Can I say why wait to Thanksgiving? Because if you
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: wait to thank you you're giving people hopeween No one,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: you don't need to give them hope that long. Yeah,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: but see, sometimes it don't happen that way. And I'm
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: just saying, as each holiday approaches, you got to have
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: a plan because maybe nothing was wrong Halloween. You know,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: maybe maybe she busted you November ten. You know you
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: ain't gonna be able to fix that about Thanksgiving if
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: she busted you on November ten, Now she bust you
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: like December. Phil, You got to get out now for
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: you must start going shopping. Be all up in there
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: at that table at Macy, looking at all that stuff
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: on that middle eye with two for one and all
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: this hell, you ain't got to go through that that.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: You definitely got to break up New Year's Eve, get here,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: because you can't go into the New year with her
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: ass or his ass or his ass. And can you
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: start an argument may be over politics, No, no, no,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: you know start in the argument. You don't even start
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: no argument. You can do that too, though, call you
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: can you know you're asking, just like Trump, And that's
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: why I came from denial. Denial, Yeah, just accuser of
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: voting for Trump, did me? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, there you go.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: No matter what she does, no matter what he or
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: she does, you go. That's it. That's it right there,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: It's over with, and keep them guessing about what it
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: is they did. Yeah to hear you mean that's it.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Can you pass me the remote? I'd like to change
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: the chance. No, you ain't going to turn it to
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Atlanta House wid that's what you Wow, I'm out. I'm
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: out for Tommy. You're known for breaking up before the
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: holidays though, oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah, all right, more
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. So what
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: are some of the strange things You're strange habits and Thanksgiving?
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: I have a relative that's what supposedly, um is it?
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Which one? Is it? Jehovah's Witness or Seven Day adventutes on?
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: You know, they don't eat meat. But this particularly is
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: that there was meeting the Greens and she she had
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: already been like half played in you know, yes, yes,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: And my mom said, Annie, you know there's meeting in greens.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: She went, huh, and keep eating lives, all lives because
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: these greens were good. Right good. Let me tell y'all
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: something I gotta relative. I got a cousin that would
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: eat everything in one bowl. Food touch I don't like.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: But but j Jay the twist to it all. He
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: may have a dressing, a cranbar sauce, got some turkey
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: laid across it. Everybody understand it. That makes sense, right yeah?
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Right next to it is a scoop of vanilla ice cream,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: right yeah. But I'm looking at him like you please
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: tell me you're not gonna use my badfroom while you here. Please.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Then you got that relative time and that you know
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: they're complaining because my food is touching I don't want
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I know people like that. Yeah, people,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: And you know what to j A lot of kids
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: when you're making their plates, they don't want them to touch.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: That's that's why you gotta have them paper places called
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: with them dividers in it for the kids. But the
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: kids take yes, kids, tell me you you're talking big
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: money paper places. I'm talking to take place with they
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Gotta Weight with wiming on it coming out more of
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this You're listening show.
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: Getting together with family for Thanksgiving can definitely be stressful,
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: really a stressful time for some people. Some families. All
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: those extended relatives in one place with different opinions, you know,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: they're bound to set off a few fights. So most
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: people just tend to be careful of what they say.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: They tend to be, you know, a little leery of
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: what's I'm not going to be in my house. That's
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: what I was gonna ask you. So are there's some
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: subjects that you're to that are totally off limits, that
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: you don't bring up, or you just do whatever because
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: now this is my house. I say what I want
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: to say, but I did what I don't allow in
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: my house anybody to just pray, Yeah, like over the food.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: You mean? Yeah, our pigs who pray like pop bridges,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Like Marjorie Daddy, he could pray all the food. I
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: don't like other people coming to the house. That happened
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: one time Marjorie whole family was that. Do you ever pray? Yeah,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: I'll pray. It'd be so short. We eat. Everybody got
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: there my Thanksgiving prayer, same as my grace. You know
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: what's but Steve, how do you handle that? Because if
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: somebody's there and say well can I bless the food?
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Steve say no, No, I say no, Pop Bridge is
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: gonna bless it? Go head pop And he jumped right in. Yeah,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: it's pretty simple, that ain't Now We had this lady.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: She told me, I want my husband and bless your food.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: He does a good Thanksgiving prayer? Not over here? Was
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: he a pastor? I don't know what it was, but
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: he ain't him to do it up in him? I
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: know what it is those people that have not pastors
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: that but they ministers and they don't get the rid
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: of see right there ministers all that he got a
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: really good Thanksgiving prayer? What does mean my cousin? Wasn't
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: it ain't better than this damn turkey? Yeah? He was
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: an elder at our church and he praised too long?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: So long, Yes, I mean so long, and you couldn't.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: Every time you thought he was gonna stop, he kept going.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: All he was doing was taking a breath. You know
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: what bothers me? That hole taking food out the house
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: at the end just wrapping up tubs and tubs of food.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: People getting their little to gold plates. How am I
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: gonna eat on Friday? Tommy? You need to cook some much?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: How am I gonna do? That's right, Tommy? How is
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: she gonna eat? Cook? Also? You mean people that are
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: invited to dinner, Tommy, and they get it to gold plate?
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: You know, you know, one plate? Okay, cool? But when
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: I see you loading up three or four plates of
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: fall and it's just come on, man, really y'all starving
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: over that? They may be pretty much okay, well, but
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: this high work at our house because you know, usually
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Marjorie know what I like, She'll put that in the
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: other refrigerator and the other refrigerator. Oh okay, I'm now
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: in an argument for me to get to that. Huh man,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: how many refrigerators at your house? The one in the
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: kitchen to chen? You know? How much to write an? Okay?

- 1:19:51Speaker 1: are last break of the day on this Tuesday. UM
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: leave us with some parting words, some closing remark. Yeah,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: I kind of I kind of want to talk about
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: something that's um that's on me right now. I want
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: to talk a little bit about expectations and I want
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: to talk about patience. But I'm going to throw one
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: more thing in there. I'm gonna put need in there. Need,
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: expectations and patience. Uh. It's something that I've been praying about,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: you know, and I've been asking God for it for
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: quite some time and it hasn't gotten here. And He
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: knows exactly what I need. So as I'm saying this
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: to you, I want you all to imagine yourself and
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: plug in your need. So I'm talking to God, right
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: and I'm asking God for something that I need and
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: I know I need it because it would it would
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: make some things go so much better, so much smooth,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: so much easier, just overall, it would just help in
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: so many areas. So I've been praying about it and
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: it hasn't gotten here yet. And so my oldest sister
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: text me the other day and I didn't get back
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: to her, and so just last night she text me
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: again and just said, hey, could you answer my text?
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: I hope things are well with you, Love Mona. And
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: so I text her back and I told, everything is fine.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: I've just been working so much. I said, sometimes I
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: don't get to answer your text when you send it
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: to me right away because I'll be on the set
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: or something. I'll be doing something. I said, But I
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: get him and I appreciate them. And then I told
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: my oldest sister. I asked her to please pray for me.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I said, I pray for a breakthrough from me, something
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I've been asking God for so I can just you know, take,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: you know, relax a little bit about this situation. And
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: I went on to tell my sister that's hard being
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: successful and stuff like that, and I said, but we're good.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: I'm just working real hard. I told, I love you,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: and then I said, let me know if you need something,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: She text me back the simplest thing. Now, Remember now,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: I've told you that I was asking God for something
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: that I needed and I had been waiting for it,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: and I and I'm almost out of patience, to be
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: honest with you. I just thinking it's taken a while, right,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: And I'm pretty sure you could feel that way too.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: Sometimes you ask God for something and you you're living
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: in the expectation and you got man, let's take it
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: so long, and you're getting a little impatient. I think
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: everything that's happened to every person. My sens simply sent
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: this text backs to me. She said, just take one
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: day at a time. The Lord knows what he's doing.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: I'm praying for you. That was her message. Now, my
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: sister is eighty two years old. She told her brother,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: who is like, you know, the family guy that they
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: can all come to when they need something. But she
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: simplified it for me so easy. She said, just take
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: one a day at a time. The Lord knows what
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: he's doing. And do you know how much better that
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: made me feel? I simply back and said I texted back.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: I said, okay, I will, because you know this thing
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: that I've been asking God for that I so desperately
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: feel like I need and I keep expecting it to happen,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: but I'm starting to lose patience about it. My sister
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: says something so simple, if you just take one day
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: at a time, the Lord knows what he's doing, and
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: if I look at it. In her simple way of
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: talking to her brother, she knows me very well. Her
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: simple way of talking to me was letting me know
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: that if you just keep waking up and keep doing
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: what you're doing, God got all this under control. He
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: know what he doing, and you know what he always has.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: He's always known what he's doing. Always, he ain't never
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: not known what he was doing. Even when I thought
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: I wanted it to go another way, and he worked
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: it out a different way. It was for the best,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: and so I just had to grab myself and go, okay,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: I will. And it made me feel better because I said, okay, man,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: I'm actually okay. I do actually keep waking up. I
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: do keep somehow surviving it all. I'm not just surviving,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: I'm actually thriving. I'm going through it, but I'm getting
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: through it. It's taking a while, but it's in the process.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: And God does know what he's doing. So that settled
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: it for me. So I'm saying to you, if that's
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: something you've been praying about, something that you need, and
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: you're living your life in the expectation because you know
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: he's gonna deliver it for you, but you haven't got
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: a little bit impatient with it like I have, just
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: taking a day at a time. God knows exactly what
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: he's doing. He's working on something on your behalf that
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: you don't even know about, and when He give it
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: to you, it's gonna fix it all, probably better than
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: you could have ever imagined. Those are my closing remarks.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: Just something to think about it. Yeah, wow respectively. Yeah,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: I'm stop playing in the day. M hmm. Well tell
