- 1:44Speaker 1: turn the mouth.

- 2:05Speaker 6: You are listening to the voice, come on, dig me
- 2:08Speaker 6: now one and only see if Harvey got a radio
- 2:12Speaker 6: show man.
- 2:14Speaker 2: God is in the blessing business. I'm in the receiving line.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Man.
- 2:19Speaker 2: That's a good feeling. I thank God for waking me
- 2:23Speaker 2: up in the mornings, I really really do.
- 2:26Speaker 6: I thank God for the spirit that he wakes me
- 2:28Speaker 6: up with because I finally, but I finally figured it out.
- 2:34Speaker 6: Such a blessing that shouldn't be taken for granted. The
- 2:36Speaker 6: fact that you are up today, the fact that you
- 2:39Speaker 6: just got off working, you driving home, the fact that
- 2:42Speaker 6: you got a job to come home from, the fact
- 2:45Speaker 6: that you got a job to wake up too. Whatever
- 2:48Speaker 6: it is, the fact that you can see, think, here, smell, walk, talk, rhyme, reason,
- 2:55Speaker 6: whatever it is, it's a blessing Man. I was talking
- 2:58Speaker 6: to a partner mine last night and an analogy came
- 3:02Speaker 6: to me last night of what my life has been like,
- 3:05Speaker 6: just going over my story with a friend of mine
- 3:07Speaker 6: of all some of the things I had gone through,
- 3:10Speaker 6: and he never knew it because he said, man, you
- 3:12Speaker 6: never told me that we were just talking. One of
- 3:16Speaker 6: the things I remember, and it's kind of equated to
- 3:19Speaker 6: my life, was when I was a little boy and
- 3:25Speaker 6: she go to the store with my mom and she
- 3:28Speaker 6: would let me buy a jigsaw puzzle. Now, for those
- 3:33Speaker 6: of you, a jigsaw puzzle comes in a box. There
- 3:36Speaker 6: are no instructions. It just comes in a box and
- 3:41Speaker 6: it's simple. You're gonna dump the pieces out in a
- 3:44Speaker 6: pile and you're gonna try to put the pieces together
- 3:49Speaker 6: until it.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Looks like the picture that's on the cover of the box.
- 3:55Speaker 2: That's as simple as it is. Here is the deal.
- 4:01Speaker 6: I would select a jigsaw puzzle based on the picture
- 4:08Speaker 6: that I liked and if I thought I could do it. Now,
- 4:15Speaker 6: if the picture looked too crazy, if it looked too intricate,
- 4:19Speaker 6: I didn't want that puzzle, you know. And the thing was,
- 4:23Speaker 6: back in the day, you got a jigsaw puzzle. You
- 4:25Speaker 6: had a hundred piece puzzles. Four hundred piece puzzles, man,
- 4:29Speaker 6: then they say a thousand piece puzzle.
- 4:31Speaker 2: You go oo.
- 4:33Speaker 6: So those were a little difficult for me when I
- 4:36Speaker 6: was a little boy, so I didn't want that.
- 4:39Speaker 2: As I got a little bit older, I had more
- 4:43Speaker 2: challenging puzzles, you know, four fifty five hundred piece puzzles.
- 4:49Speaker 2: But I always picked a picture of something I liked.
- 4:54Speaker 2: So it's very simple.
- 4:55Speaker 6: You get the jigsaw puzzle, you get it home, you
- 4:57Speaker 6: open it up, you dump it out on the table.
- 5:00Speaker 6: You flip all the pieces over so you can see them,
- 5:05Speaker 6: and then I would try to sort them based on
- 5:08Speaker 6: the colors on the box. If it was like a
- 5:10Speaker 6: black section, I'd take all the black pieces and slide
- 5:14Speaker 6: them over there it was some flowers, I'd try to
- 5:16Speaker 6: find all the pictures with little jigsaw pieces with the
- 5:19Speaker 6: little floor, and I separate them and then I start
- 5:22Speaker 6: putting it together. And the way I started was i'd
- 5:25Speaker 6: try to build a border first, because I knew all
- 5:28Speaker 6: the straight edges had to be side by side at
- 5:31Speaker 6: one point.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And it was funny, man, because it's related to my life.
- 5:35Speaker 6: I would start putting the pieces together of the picture
- 5:40Speaker 6: I saw that I liked, and that would be my picture.
- 5:46Speaker 6: A lot of people didn't like jigsaw puzzles. As a
- 5:50Speaker 6: matter of fact, none of the boys on the street
- 5:52Speaker 6: liked jigsaw puzzles but me, because they just didn't want
- 5:56Speaker 6: to go through the intricate details of figuring that out
- 6:00Speaker 6: to go outside and run or something like that. And
- 6:03Speaker 6: so what happened was, as I got older, I wanted
- 6:07Speaker 6: more difficult and challenging puzzles.
- 6:10Speaker 2: But I wouldn't go too far. I wanted some nice
- 6:13Speaker 2: stuff to happen.
- 6:14Speaker 6: I had a picture of what I wanted for my life,
- 6:17Speaker 6: but I didn't want to go too far because it
- 6:20Speaker 6: was so challenging and difficult. I couldn't see myself with
- 6:24Speaker 6: all of that, and I didn't have the time, the knowledge,
- 6:27Speaker 6: the expertise, the figuring all the intricate details. And I
- 6:32Speaker 6: discovered something when I was talking last night. That's what
- 6:37Speaker 6: happens in life to a lot of people. You get
- 6:40Speaker 6: bogged down with the details of coming up and trying
- 6:43Speaker 6: to create the picture that you want for yourself. You
- 6:46Speaker 6: put it to the side, you say, ah, that puzzles
- 6:48Speaker 6: are crazy. Next thing you know, you crumb it up
- 6:51Speaker 6: and put it back in the box. So you go
- 6:53Speaker 6: halfway and you get stuck, and you get to the
- 6:55Speaker 6: part where it ain't a lot of different colors.
- 6:57Speaker 2: It's all the same, and that's a little bit more challenging.
- 7:00Speaker 2: So that may stop you. But it's somewhere in the
- 7:02Speaker 2: jigsaw puzzle that it gets very difficult in challenging the
- 7:06Speaker 2: bigger the picture you want.
- 7:09Speaker 6: But then what happened in your life, it's just like
- 7:13Speaker 6: what happened in the jigsaw. Once you get comfortable and
- 7:18Speaker 6: you don't mind the challenge, you could get a bigger picture.
- 7:23Speaker 6: But here's the key to it, though, if you put
- 7:26Speaker 6: God in your mix. See, the picture that I saw
- 7:30Speaker 6: for myself as a boy is not the picture that
- 7:34Speaker 6: has happened to me as a man. Because along the
- 7:38Speaker 6: way from boyhood to manhood, from the time I was teening,
- 7:41Speaker 6: you understand what happened along the ride in there was
- 7:46Speaker 6: I started putting God in the mix.
- 7:49Speaker 2: And so now the picture that I have now is
- 7:52Speaker 2: not the picture I saw. It's the picture that God saw.
- 7:56Speaker 6: So what I'm saying this analogy is the picture you
- 8:01Speaker 6: have may be difficult to complete, but if you were
- 8:05Speaker 6: to include God in your life. Put God in your
- 8:09Speaker 6: jigsaw puzzle. God will not only help you complete the puzzle,
- 8:14Speaker 6: and he gonna add some pieces, he gonna do some favors,
- 8:18Speaker 6: he gonna show some mercy, and you gonna look up
- 8:21Speaker 6: and the picture that you're able to end up with
- 8:23Speaker 6: will be totally different and much more complete, much more beautiful,
- 8:28Speaker 6: a bigger picture than the one you had, because there's
- 8:31Speaker 6: no way that I could have saught a life that
- 8:33Speaker 6: I have today back when I was a boy. And
- 8:37Speaker 6: it amazes me when I hear people say I always
- 8:40Speaker 6: saw this for myself. Ah, I didn't do that. I
- 8:43Speaker 6: didn't quite see this for myself. I don't know how
- 8:45Speaker 6: you can have the ability to see what God really
- 8:48Speaker 6: has for you. But man, he's a master for jigsaw. Man,
- 8:52Speaker 6: he's an incredible puzzle completed. So if you got a
- 8:56Speaker 6: puzzle that's challenging to you, maybe you need to see
- 8:59Speaker 6: what's the picture that God has for your life. If
- 9:03Speaker 6: God were in your life, if you complete it to puzzle,
- 9:08Speaker 6: what would it look like. It'll be a far more
- 9:11Speaker 6: extensive puzzle, and it would be a far more beautiful
- 9:15Speaker 6: piece of scenery than you could have ever imagined. Tears
- 9:18Speaker 6: come in my eyes because I can't believe God bought
- 9:22Speaker 6: me this far. I can't believe that when I opened
- 9:25Speaker 6: up and accepted him and started talking to him, that
- 9:28Speaker 6: he would add all these pieceles to my jigsaw puzzle,
- 9:31Speaker 6: and my jigsaw puzzle would look like this. And I
- 9:34Speaker 6: could tell you I ain't got a whole lot to
- 9:36Speaker 6: do with what OT have turned into. It's mostly favor
- 9:41Speaker 6: and blessings and grace and mercy of God. And I
- 9:43Speaker 6: looked up and I just got a much bigger jigsaw
- 9:46Speaker 6: puzzle completed. And guess what, He ain't through with me yet.
- 9:50Speaker 6: That's what's amazing and exciting about a relationship with God.
- 9:54Speaker 6: God could take your jigsaw puzzle.
- 9:56Speaker 2: And fix it.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Sh ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:05Speaker 4: We are here.

- 10:10Speaker 6: another gift. It's called now. Man, be grateful today, y'all.
- 10:14Speaker 6: If you don't do nothing else, show some gratitude. Tell
- 10:17Speaker 6: him that you appreciate it. Just tell him that you
- 10:20Speaker 6: love it. That thank you, thank you for waking me up,
- 10:23Speaker 6: for giving me this day, for giving me this opportunity.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Man, it's just filled with so much.
- 10:29Speaker 6: It's so many great things can happen to you today,
- 10:32Speaker 6: and no matter what happens, you gonna get through that too.
- 10:36Speaker 6: This too shall pass, just like everything else that didn't
- 10:41Speaker 6: happen to you, It passes eventually, don't you get it?

- 10:47Speaker 6: through this one. And I'm grateful that God woke me

- 14:38Speaker 11: How you doing today?
- 14:39Speaker 12: I'm good? How are you?
- 14:41Speaker 11: I'm good? Listen you're supposed to be This is your
- 14:45Speaker 11: fifth year here at the university you're graduating in the
- 14:49Speaker 11: next seven eight days. Am I right?
- 14:51Speaker 13: Yes, there have you out of this joint.
- 14:54Speaker 11: Okay, listen, I'm giving you a call. We got a
- 14:57Speaker 11: bit of a problem here that we want to try
- 14:59Speaker 11: and just us with you and maybe we can get
- 15:01Speaker 11: you over at student Affairs and come in and have
- 15:03Speaker 11: a meeting with us. But we wanted to bring it
- 15:05Speaker 11: to your attention.
- 15:06Speaker 7: Now.
- 15:07Speaker 11: You took a one of your last subjects was English, uh,
- 15:11Speaker 11: and you had an English exam with a You guys
- 15:14Speaker 11: are writing an essay? Am I am? I am I
- 15:16Speaker 11: correct about that? Yeah?
- 15:19Speaker 12: Yeah, that's true.
- 15:20Speaker 11: Okay, it seems that we got some problems here that
- 15:23Speaker 11: the professor there is actually a simulating that you may
- 15:25Speaker 11: have cheated on this on this essay that you've actually
- 15:29Speaker 11: written cheated. No, I mean from what from what he's
- 15:34Speaker 11: telling us here at student Affairs is that you may
- 15:37Speaker 11: have plagiarized some things that, uh, that were in your essay.
- 15:42Speaker 13: Dude, No, I didn't. I didn't plagiarize nothing that was
- 15:44Speaker 13: in the essay. Everything is documented like it should be.
- 15:47Speaker 13: So I don't know what you're talking about, especially cheating
- 15:49Speaker 13: on no exam, on no paper, nothing like that. You
- 15:51Speaker 13: must have got you mixed up to somebody else.
- 15:53Speaker 11: No, no, no, not at all. You're actually mister Trevon correct.
- 15:56Speaker 12: I mean that's me. But I didn't cheat on no exam, on.
- 15:59Speaker 11: No paper for that matter. Okay, well, let me let
- 16:01Speaker 11: me try to bring you up to speed here, SIRVN.
- 16:03Speaker 11: What we're gonna need is we're gonna need you to
- 16:05Speaker 11: actually come in and talk to us over here at
- 16:08Speaker 11: student affairs so we can try to get this thing rectified.
- 16:11Speaker 11: But I will let you know, it's gonna take a
- 16:13Speaker 11: few more days longer than graduation. So as of right now,
- 16:17Speaker 11: you're actually not gonna be walking and graduating with the
- 16:21Speaker 11: rest of the students.
- 16:22Speaker 7: What man do Man, you got me messed up?
- 16:25Speaker 14: What you mean?
- 16:25Speaker 13: I'm not gonna be walking.
- 16:27Speaker 11: Well until we get this situation rectified here. You're not
- 16:30Speaker 11: gonna be graduating with the rest of the students now.
- 16:33Speaker 13: And I don't know what y'all gotta do, but y'all
- 16:35Speaker 13: need to figure it out and find out what the
- 16:37Speaker 13: problem is. Man, I ain't cheat on no exams you're
- 16:39Speaker 13: talking about.
- 16:40Speaker 7: Dude.
- 16:40Speaker 13: My family is coming down here and you're talking about
- 16:42Speaker 13: cheating on an English exam. They'll I look like she's
- 16:44Speaker 13: on an example and I'm getting ready to graduate. Man, now,
- 16:47Speaker 13: y'all need to fix it, like right now, like today while.
- 16:49Speaker 7: We're on the phone.
- 16:50Speaker 11: We can't do that. It's a little it's a sensitive subject,
- 16:53Speaker 11: and like I said, it seems like it's plagiarism. You know,
- 16:56Speaker 11: if we can get you to actually come over to
- 16:57Speaker 11: student affairs next Wednesday, Man.
- 17:01Speaker 7: You got me?
- 17:01Speaker 12: So what do you mean next Wednesday?
- 17:03Speaker 7: Dude?
- 17:03Speaker 15: I'm graduating in a few days.
- 17:05Speaker 7: Since you're talking about next Wednesday, Man, why my professor
- 17:08Speaker 7: didn't give me a call? Why you calling me sir?
- 17:11Speaker 11: This is not something that professors actually take care of.
- 17:13Speaker 11: This is a student affair situation now, and it's a
- 17:16Speaker 11: very sensitive situation. And what we want to do is
- 17:18Speaker 11: try to get this thing taken care of. And if
- 17:20Speaker 11: you if what you're saying is actually true, then you're
- 17:24Speaker 11: probably graduating August.
- 17:27Speaker 7: You got me. I'm telling you righting that this is
- 17:29Speaker 7: a you got me August fifth.
- 17:32Speaker 12: I'm graduating this semester.
- 17:33Speaker 7: I haven't been here too long to go through some
- 17:36Speaker 7: my last few weeks of school, and you talking about
- 17:38Speaker 7: August n you didn't even telling me what you got
- 17:44Speaker 7: to say, man, my family is coming down here from
- 17:46Speaker 7: everywhere to see me graduating. I'm the first dad graduate
- 17:49Speaker 7: from my family.
- 17:50Speaker 15: You're talking about some tut my cheat on the paper,
- 17:53Speaker 15: payment a paper.
- 17:56Speaker 7: And you got me man, Am, I'm gonna work two
- 17:57Speaker 7: and three jobs to see me to this cool And
- 18:00Speaker 7: now I come getting ready to graduate and you're talking
- 18:02Speaker 7: about I got to wait till August to graduates.
- 18:05Speaker 16: Man.
- 18:05Speaker 7: Hell Now, I'm on my way to the office right now.
- 18:08Speaker 7: And you can tell whoever the professor is that I'm
- 18:10Speaker 7: on my way and he needs to be there too, Sir.
- 18:12Speaker 11: I can really tell you is that when trying to
- 18:14Speaker 11: get this thing rectified as early as next weeay man.
- 18:17Speaker 7: What's your name again?
- 18:18Speaker 13: And where's where's your office?
- 18:19Speaker 11: I'm in suiting affairs. I'm Joseph.
- 18:21Speaker 7: Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 18:23Speaker 13: So I'm about to get in my car right now
- 18:25Speaker 13: and I'm about to come over there and we're.
- 18:26Speaker 12: Gonna have to live today.
- 18:27Speaker 7: And how you singing to me checking on the exam
- 18:30Speaker 7: or paper?
- 18:31Speaker 17: Man?
- 18:31Speaker 11: Is that, sir, honor thing is that there's a possibility
- 18:35Speaker 11: of plagiarism?
- 18:36Speaker 7: Here are you Kennedy, dude? I've been in five he is,
- 18:41Speaker 7: I'm the first love to graduate from colors. Ma'am.
- 18:44Speaker 15: Grandmama is eighty two, he is, Oh, and she come

- 28:04Speaker 10: Nicki says, I finally let my coworker come by so

- 29:02Speaker 10: told him I want an apartment in the city too,
- 29:05Speaker 10: and he's got a problem with that.

- 29:33Speaker 1: Okay, just no, it's a note for me.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Yeah, we have to look at this account.
- 29:38Speaker 1: See what all right? Thank you, Celo.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Steve Harvey Moore on the show man, ain't nobody playing

- 30:47Speaker 6: I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what were the region?
- 30:51Speaker 6: All of you get to ask me a question about
- 30:53Speaker 6: Tommy and then you.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Judge if it's hate hate.
- 30:57Speaker 6: Okay, that's all all of you think of a question
- 31:01Speaker 6: for me concerning Tommy and Tommy. You can join into
- 31:05Speaker 6: and we'll see if it's hate and watch it don't
- 31:08Speaker 6: be hate.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Watch I'm ready.
- 31:14Speaker 14: First, Carla, do you believe that Tommy sells out venues
- 31:22Speaker 14: comedy clubs when he's on the road doing his dates doing.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Some comedy clubs.
- 31:27Speaker 6: Yes, and lots of shows, comedy shows within the weekend.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Yes, But you let him answer.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Tommy, Yes, I do feel as though he sells our sun.
- 31:38Speaker 14: Okay he said, yes, he does feel Okay, Okay, not all.
- 31:43Speaker 14: Oh God, you can't to judge the answer.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Well, I wouldn't, Okay.
- 31:52Speaker 10: So, since you've known Tommy all his life, uh huh
- 31:56Speaker 10: the w situation, you know where he can't really pronoun w's.
- 32:00Speaker 1: How did that start? Was it an accident or what happened?
- 32:05Speaker 6: Well, when Tommy was small, my father said he was
- 32:12Speaker 6: small as a Vianna sausage weenie, and so Tommy thought
- 32:16Speaker 6: that was his name. So he was trying to Tommy,
- 32:20Speaker 6: he go Weeni and that's how that's when we first
- 32:25Speaker 6: discovered that that he couldn't say w's because he couldn't
- 32:27Speaker 6: say his nickname, which was Weenie.
- 32:29Speaker 1: How old was he?
- 32:31Speaker 2: About? A little over? About two? Started? Okay?
- 32:39Speaker 4: Was that Tommy?
- 32:42Speaker 9: I believe the go ahead?
- 32:44Speaker 3: Then?
- 32:44Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 32:45Speaker 7: Uh?
- 32:45Speaker 9: Do you feel you in competition with Tommy?
- 32:48Speaker 2: Absolutely not. I can't be in competition with somebody ain't
- 32:50Speaker 2: on the same race course this year.
- 32:57Speaker 6: That's the truth. I mean, look, he tried to straight. No,
- 33:01Speaker 6: hold up, I'm retired from comedy. He in comedy?
- 33:05Speaker 7: What what?
- 33:05Speaker 2: What is we competing for? That's what we've been all
- 33:08Speaker 2: trying to figure out for a long time.
- 33:10Speaker 6: But see didn't I'm not It's not competition. It's all
- 33:14Speaker 6: something ain't I tell you you got? I ain't got
- 33:18Speaker 6: nothing you got? But you won't hate hate hate?
- 33:21Speaker 2: But your wont it you And it's the wanting that's
- 33:25Speaker 2: causing you to look bad.
- 33:27Speaker 18: It's the wont that's causing you hate of it and
- 33:30Speaker 18: won't quit step with all in hate?
- 33:34Speaker 1: Just what you got? What's wrong with wanting? We better life?
- 33:39Speaker 2: If you want a better life, But you mad at
- 33:41Speaker 2: me because I got it and you ain't. Nobody I'm
- 33:44Speaker 2: supposed to be brother.
- 33:46Speaker 7: You know.
- 33:46Speaker 6: It's always a competition with him. That's why he don't
- 33:51Speaker 6: come get this Mintry. Surely that's exactly Why'm not gonna
- 33:55Speaker 6: get no hate, Minyery.
- 33:59Speaker 18: I'm telling you right, because your mentoring is hate and
- 34:02Speaker 18: I don't want it. I'm not filling my life up
- 34:04Speaker 18: with all this hate you got. Next question please?
- 34:07Speaker 9: Okay?
- 34:08Speaker 1: All right, yeah, okay, Steve, don't get mad. But it
- 34:15Speaker 1: does seem like.
- 34:17Speaker 14: You picked Junior over Tommy sometimes situations.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Let me finish Junior just like absolutely. Oh, she didn't
- 34:28Speaker 1: get a chance to find hate.
- 34:29Speaker 2: A ration?
- 34:30Speaker 1: Baby, Wait, a ration your blood nephew?
- 34:34Speaker 3: What is going on?
- 34:35Speaker 6: Because my nephew refuses to listen. At least Junior will
- 34:42Speaker 6: take my advice and use it. My own nephew won't
- 34:48Speaker 6: even come and sit and counsel.
- 34:50Speaker 2: With me cause you hate.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Okay, okay here, okay, So so let me ask you this,
- 34:58Speaker 1: uncle Steve.
- 34:59Speaker 6: Oh, you say that Tommy is the only person on
- 35:03Speaker 6: earth that claims that I'm a hate Please make note
- 35:06Speaker 6: of that.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Go ahead him, Okay, so we'll put a pen in that.
- 35:13Speaker 2: I'm not the only one. Thing, well, the only thing
- 35:17Speaker 2: you can said after that.
- 35:20Speaker 10: We're doing that more, all right, Steve. So you know
- 35:29Speaker 10: you talked about everything concerning Tommy. This is what I
- 35:34Speaker 10: want to ask you, are you proud of him? Because
- 35:36Speaker 10: Tommy has reached a certain amount of notoriety and success
- 35:41Speaker 10: separate and apart from you and on his own.
- 35:43Speaker 1: So where where is the praise? Where are the for that?
- 35:49Speaker 6: For to Tommy is very successful because, like I said,
- 35:53Speaker 6: success is not determined by how far you've got, but
- 35:58Speaker 6: how far you've come from you started. So Tommy is successful,
- 36:03Speaker 6: and I've said it on several occasions. It's just that
- 36:06Speaker 6: I don't praise him as much as he praises himself.
- 36:11Speaker 6: And so it seems as though I don't praise him often.
- 36:14Speaker 6: But neither neither do any of you, because none of
- 36:17Speaker 6: you can possibly praise him more than he praises hisself.
- 36:22Speaker 2: I try to see Hallelujah time praising me day right
- 36:30Speaker 2: after the prank, right before the prank.
- 36:34Speaker 6: Every say, this is the replay of the prank, then
- 36:39Speaker 6: the prank itself.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Okay, dude, you don't you don't like the prank? You
- 36:44Speaker 2: don't I.
- 36:49Speaker 14: Learned.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Maybe that's what it is. It's number one. He don't
- 36:52Speaker 2: like that, and I'm attached to it. That what it is.
- 36:56Speaker 6: No, that's absolutely fine with me, because that's attached to
- 36:59Speaker 6: the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Exactly, but you wouldn't even have a way to play
- 37:04Speaker 2: the laplace.
- 37:06Speaker 10: All right, more of this crazy ignorant show, Steve Harvey
- 37:10Speaker 10: Morning Show.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Right after this. Hey, what's so good?
- 37:13Speaker 1: This is fantasia?

- 56:47Speaker 2: got it for you here.
- 56:47Speaker 10: It is Strawberry Letter thanking if you subject leave my
- 56:52Speaker 10: man out of your rumors. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm married
- 56:56Speaker 10: to a man that has cheated on me once before.
- 56:59Speaker 10: He's a target for rumors. My dad is the main
- 57:03Speaker 10: one that has any I on my husband, just waiting
- 57:07Speaker 10: for him to cheat again. I tried to keep my
- 57:10Speaker 10: family out of my business, but the female he cheated
- 57:13Speaker 10: with works with my dad. So now if the girl
- 57:16Speaker 10: steps away to take a call at work, my dad
- 57:18Speaker 10: is ear hustling. If the girl leaves a job early,
- 57:21Speaker 10: my dad calls me and warns me that she's up
- 57:24Speaker 10: to no good and I need to see where my
- 57:26Speaker 10: husband is. My dad is the last person to judge,
- 57:29Speaker 10: because he got a woman pregnant when I was in
- 57:32Speaker 10: middle school and we still don't know what happened to
- 57:34Speaker 10: that baby while he was worrying about me. My mother
- 57:37Speaker 10: spends all of his money at the casino. When she's
- 57:41Speaker 10: not gambling, she's helping my dad spread all kinds of
- 57:44Speaker 10: rumors about my marriage because she's jealous that my man
- 57:47Speaker 10: is a great father and provider. She started some new
- 57:51Speaker 10: mess about my husband cheating, and she told two of
- 57:54Speaker 10: my aunts. Friday night, my husband went to a comedy
- 57:57Speaker 10: show at the casino with his brother. My mother was
- 58:01Speaker 10: there gambling, but it wasn't supposed to but wasn't supposed
- 58:04Speaker 10: to be there, so she watched. She said, my husband
- 58:08Speaker 10: from Afar and he was with the girl that he
- 58:11Speaker 10: cheated with. I told her there's no way he is
- 58:15Speaker 10: that stupid to be in public with this girl. Again,
- 58:18Speaker 10: she kept insisting, so I asked my husband if the
- 58:21Speaker 10: lady was there, and he said, yes, she was there,
- 58:25Speaker 10: and it is a free country, so she can go
- 58:27Speaker 10: see a show if she wants to, and it has
- 58:30Speaker 10: nothing to do with him. My mother insists that I
- 58:33Speaker 10: am brainwatched and that he's a cheating loser. I warned
- 58:37Speaker 10: her that if she doesn't stop spreading rumors, I will
- 58:40Speaker 10: tell my dad about her gambling addiction. Why can't they
- 58:44Speaker 10: stop hating on my marriage? Well, this is crazy and
- 58:50Speaker 10: messy and petty and dysfunctional nosy blank family, just like
- 58:56Speaker 10: any other family. They're always in your business, all of
- 58:59Speaker 10: this dysfunk everything. And yes, your parents are hating on
- 59:03Speaker 10: your marriage, aren't they? But so is your husband. I mean,
- 59:06Speaker 10: if he's been cheating, he's hating on your marriage too.
- 59:10Speaker 10: I mean, let's be clear, I don't agree with your
- 59:13Speaker 10: mom and dad meddling in your marriage at all and
- 59:15Speaker 10: spreading rumors and doing what they're doing like ear hustling
- 59:19Speaker 10: and reporting to you when you know she leaves work
- 59:22Speaker 10: and stuff the other woman. But I'm sure some of
- 59:26Speaker 10: that is because you're their daughter and they don't want
- 59:30Speaker 10: him hurting you anymore.
- 59:31Speaker 3: That's what it is.
- 59:32Speaker 1: So they're keeping an eye on him. Are they nosy?
- 59:34Speaker 10: Yes, they are nosy. So you can argue that they
- 59:37Speaker 10: care about you and they love you. You can post
- 59:40Speaker 10: that argument. They can definitely argue that. But your husband
- 59:43Speaker 10: is wrong for being with that woman again, no question,
- 59:46Speaker 10: especially in public.
- 59:47Speaker 1: What was he thinking.
- 59:48Speaker 10: I don't believe it was a coincidence. I think he
- 59:50Speaker 10: was intentionally with her. And even though your mom was
- 59:53Speaker 10: out of order for spying, she was right. Your husband
- 59:57Speaker 10: admitted it, so he could be that stupid. Why didn't
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: he take you? You never mentioned that the woman that
- 1:00:03Speaker 10: your husband cheated with just happened to be in the
- 1:00:06Speaker 10: club to see the same show at the same time
- 1:00:09Speaker 10: your husband and brother were there. Come on, I say,
- 1:00:12Speaker 10: listen to your mom on this one. Listen to your mom, Steve.
- 1:00:17Speaker 6: I can't help dog on this one. Dog, Man, Man, Dog.
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: I try to be there for some man, but man,
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: sometimes we just do something so hard to work with stupid.
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: I worked with a little lightweight higgist, but when you're stupid, really,
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: I don't know where to go with this. I'm married
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: to a man to cheat it on me once before,
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: so he's a target of rooms. My dad is the
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: main one that's got out on my husband, just waiting
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: for him to cheat again. Now, she says, I've tried
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: to keep my family out of my business. But the
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: female that her husband cheated on works with her father.
- 1:01:12Speaker 9: God.
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: So now if the girls step away to take a call,
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: my dad is a hustled. If the girl lead a
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: job early, your daddy called you and want you she.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Up to no good. You need to find out where
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: your husband is.
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: Then after all this, she say, my dad the last
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: person judged because he got a woman pregnant when I
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: was in middle school and we still don't know what
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: happened to that baby. So while he worried about me,
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: my mother spent all his money at the casino. So
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: we were starting to form a pattern here. I want
- 1:01:55Speaker 6: you to watch this pattern. Everybody else is wrong, Excel
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: the man that created the problem in the first place.
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: So see so now it's gonna be hard for me
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: to help you because you don't want help. You have survived,
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: You have supplied a solution for each one of the
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: problems in this letter and ain't none of the solutions
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: your husband. So when we come back, I'm just gonna
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: let you further know that I can't help you, and
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: I can't help him either, because he has done a
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: wonderful job and absolute wonderful job of getting that deflected
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: any blame that's on him. How he did this even
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: I don't know. So all hell to the man in
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: your letter, and we'll get back into it when we
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: come back.
- 1:03:00Speaker 10: All right, we'll have part two of your response coming
- 1:03:02Speaker 10: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry
- 1:03:05Speaker 10: Letters subject leave my man out of your rumors. We'll
- 1:03:10Speaker 10: get back into that right after this. You're listening to
- 1:03:13Speaker 10: the Dave Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: And education is a transformation every day.
- 1:03:23Speaker 14: The third Good Marshall College Fund transforms lives through scholarships
- 1:03:28Speaker 14: and career advancement opportunities. Over a half of billion dollars

- 1:03:35Speaker 14: also connect companies with exceptional HBCU talent through workforce development initiatives.
- 1:03:41Speaker 14: I am a proud HBCU graduate, and my education helped
- 1:03:46Speaker 14: me reach my fullest potential. I'm continuing that tradition with
- 1:03:49Speaker 14: my daughter, who will be attending in HBCU this fall.
- 1:03:53Speaker 14: Generational excellence continues. TMCF is America's largest organized that exclusively
- 1:04:01Speaker 14: represents the HBCU community.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Join us in being.
- 1:04:05Speaker 14: Part of the transformation applied, donate, or partner with us
- 1:04:08Speaker 14: today at TMCF dot org.
- 1:04:12Speaker 10: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:04:15Speaker 10: This is a crazy one. Leave my man out of
- 1:04:17Speaker 10: your rumors.
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: She won't everybody leave a man out the rumor, but
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: he created the rumor.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: Meal. Yeah, but it's her father. That's the main one.
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: Because the girl that your husband cheated with, he cheated
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: on you one time. But the husband, the girl that
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: your husband cheated with, worked with your dad. So now
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: if the girl step away, take a call your daddy
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: trying to listen to it. The girl leaves the job early,
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: your dad call me and tell me she up to
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: no good. I need to see where your husband is.
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: Then you say, your dad the last person need to
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: judge because he got a woman pregnant while you was
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: in middle school. And you stay at y'all still don't
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: know what happened to that baby? Wow, what you worried about?
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: That fault? And in this letter.
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: Like I said before before we left, I think we
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: have a pattern for him in here, because everybody fought
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: except your man. You think everybody is unjustly targeting him.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: And it may be, but you know, things don't look good.
- 1:05:17Speaker 18: Now.
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: You said, while he's worried about me, my mother spends
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: all his money at the casino.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Oh, I bet you he know that. I bet you
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: he know that. Well, she's not gambling.
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: She's helping my dad spread all kinds of rumors about
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: my marriage because she's jealous that my.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: Man is a great father and provider. That's what she's
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: jealous are.
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: Seemed to me like her husband is a great father
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: and provider too. He's looking out for his daughter, trying
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: to protect her from any further home. And she got
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: enough money to keep going to the casino. So I
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: think your daddy is doing want to find job of
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: providing and being a great dad so far. And let's
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: not forget that other baby that he got that while
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: you was in middle school. And the reason you don't know,
- 1:06:12Speaker 6: you don't know where that baby because he takeing care of.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: That baby too. He's a great provider. Seemed like to me,
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: he the only person I can help in this letter
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: is the father because you and your husband, I ain't
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: gonna be able to help you.
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: She started some new mess about my husband cheating, and
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: she told two of my aunts, and this is what
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: she said. Friday night, my husband went to a comedy
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: show at the casino with his brother. Your mama was
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: there gambling, but she wasn't supposed to be there, so
- 1:06:46Speaker 6: she said she watched my husband from a farther and
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: he was with the girl he cheated with. I told
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: her that is no way he is that stupid. Oh okay, well, well,
- 1:07:04Speaker 6: no way he is that stupid to be in public
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: with this girl again. She kept insisting that it was
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: him and her.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: So what did you do?
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: You asked your husband, let's clear this up right away,
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: and guess what he's said with his stupid.
- 1:07:22Speaker 12: What, Yes, she was there.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: Now a minute ago.
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: You just said, there is no way he is that
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: stupid to be in public with this girl again. So
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: you asked him and he said, yes, she was there,
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: and then guess what he told you. Is a free country,
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: so she can go see a show if he want to,
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: and it has nothing to do with him. Why did
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: your mama say she was there with him. You think
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: he saw her and didn't talk to You think that
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: they wasn't walking around the casino after the show because
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: your mama wasn't at the Because remember this, your mama
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: wasn't at the comedy show. Your mama was at the casino,
- 1:08:08Speaker 6: and whether she was supposed to be or not, the
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: comedy show is not in the middle of the casino.
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: I performed at many they have separate rooms with soundstage.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: Lighting and everything.
- 1:08:21Speaker 6: Comedy shows and singers at hotels are just there to
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: draw foot traffic, because in order to go to the
- 1:08:32Speaker 6: theater or the performer, you have to walk through the
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: casino to see them. They are there merely as to
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: create foot traffic into the casino.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: So now I warned her.
- 1:08:46Speaker 6: My mother insists that I am brainwashed and that he
- 1:08:50Speaker 6: is a cheating loser. I warn her that if she
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: don't stop spreading rumors, I'm gonna tell my dad about
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: her gambling addiction.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Lady, your daddy't know that. Your daddy knows she at
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: the casino. He cool with that.
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: He been tired of your mama, so he let her
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: go to the casino to gamble. He at the house chilling.
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: He enjoyed hisself. Peace, come with a call. Why can't
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: they stop hating on my marriage? I don't know if
- 1:09:17Speaker 6: they hating on your marriage more than your man is.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: Now. Your man is with her.
- 1:09:21Speaker 6: Brother at the comedy show, and she just happens to
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: be at the comedy show the girl he cheated with,
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: and your mama saw him at the casino, not at
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: the comedy show. The comedy show is inside the casino.
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: Your mama was out there gambling and she saw them
- 1:09:36Speaker 6: at the casino, which means they was outside the comedy show. Now, yeah,
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: he can't stop up from going to the comedy show,
- 1:09:44Speaker 6: but he can show a range to meet her in
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: the casino. So stupid, just didn't see your mama, that's
- 1:09:52Speaker 6: all this is. And you blaming everybody but your man.
- 1:09:56Speaker 6: So I can't help you. But I do like your
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: daddy though, I do like your daddy.
- 1:10:02Speaker 9: Lotted.

- 1:11:46Speaker 18: did he get?
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: You don't get? You don't get a horse? I mean,
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: what do you get? You're stupid? Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: Three three for three saying anything.
- 1:12:06Speaker 18: I'm just asking legitimate questions. Good, Okay, If an orange is.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: An orange, yeah, then why is a lime not green?
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: But why we don't call it a green? Give me
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: a green cause the green already? But the orange is
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: orange already. You see.
- 1:12:29Speaker 9: No, no, we don't.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: Orange is orange.
- 1:12:34Speaker 11: We get it.
- 1:12:35Speaker 6: But yeah, we get it, you stupid like because that's
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: the only fruit that is orange.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: See, you can have a.
- 1:12:43Speaker 6: Green apple a tangerine. Tangerine is not orange. That's a tangerine.
- 1:12:50Speaker 6: It's a form of an orange.
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: Okay, He'll go to one that really bothers.
- 1:12:55Speaker 9: Okay, you know that? Yeah that good?
- 1:12:58Speaker 18: Okay, okay, one okay. If peanut butter cookies, yeah it
- 1:13:03Speaker 18: is made out of peanut. But what is girls got
- 1:13:07Speaker 18: cookies made out?
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:13:19Speaker 18: Do I make I'm just trying to make sense, That's all.
- 1:13:22Speaker 18: I'm just trying to make sense.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:13:31Speaker 10: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:13:33Speaker 10: Show right.
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: After this.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: Steve Harvey Marley show Man.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Have you ever been in a hot air balloon at all?
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: I don't want him. I've been in the blimp. I
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: don't like it. And that was when he was little.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: That's what we told him it was. We had just
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: tied him too.
- 1:13:49Speaker 9: A balloon.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: Coming up right after.
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: All?
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Right, guys, I want you guys to listen up to
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: this very carefully. You too, Carla.
- 1:14:09Speaker 10: According to a new study, I want you to hear
- 1:14:13Speaker 10: it too, Carla. According to a brand new study, shouting
- 1:14:18Speaker 10: curse words eases your pain.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Did you guys know this here?
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: It seems that.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: Your pain, like she's saying, I mean, yeah.
- 1:14:39Speaker 10: Okay, it seems that cursing triggers the body's natural fight
- 1:14:44Speaker 10: or flight response to stress, which in turns helps to
- 1:14:48Speaker 10: alleviate pain. Researchers were so impressed with how much cussing
- 1:14:53Speaker 10: works that they suggest doing it medical treatments. As psychology
- 1:14:59Speaker 10: professor doctor Richard Stevens explained, swearing is drug free, calorie free,
- 1:15:05Speaker 10: costs free, and side effects free.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: So why not try it?
- 1:15:09Speaker 10: Yes, I gotta ask you guys. Yeah, Steve, Tommy just
- 1:15:14Speaker 10: helped you out. And Carla to Steve, how how tell me?
- 1:15:19Speaker 6: Is it has been such an integral part of my life?
- 1:15:24Speaker 6: I'm telling you, man, that's why I don't have hot
- 1:15:25Speaker 6: blood pressure. I ain't got diabetes, I ain't got uscles
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: because I don't have.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Backup in me. See, I released stuff. I've tried to
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: tell it to people for years.
- 1:15:36Speaker 6: There's a lot of people, you know, hey, Christians, be
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: telling my own cussin all they Okay, that's fine, you know,
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: but you are uptight, uh.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: Uptight? Also having Christian?
- 1:15:49Speaker 9: Yeah, that's what you have.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: That's why a lot of Christians have.
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: That's why you're also having Christian And that's why a
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: lot of Christians have alsos. A lot of people have diabetes,
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: a lot of them got hoigh blood. I ain't got
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: none of that.
- 1:16:03Speaker 18: So let's so let's go to a cussing session. Dog,
- 1:16:05Speaker 18: that's gonna help us relieve ourselves. Let's go to a
- 1:16:09Speaker 18: cussing session. Okay, go ahead, Okay, careful, a real loud
- 1:16:14Speaker 18: st kiss my hoy, just go give it to me
- 1:16:17Speaker 18: right here.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: This is gonna really.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: That that does.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: That's one of my phrases.
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: Higher hold.
- 1:16:26Speaker 6: I like to quit the word hold in front of
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: a scause it encompasses everything. It's letting you know that
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: you're gonna need to really lick your lips to get
- 1:16:37Speaker 6: this done, because.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: I need for you to kiss my hole. See.
- 1:16:43Speaker 6: Sometimes you can add adjectives with cussing. That makes it better.
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: Next question, Okay, I wish to, I wish to, you would,
- 1:16:58Speaker 6: And it's important that the keyword is there's two.
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: That's our.
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: See that that's very pointed.
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: Yes, you gotta just this a word in front of
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: the cuss word that gives it its validic, it's its flame.
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: Now that any who in the see that's the real
- 1:17:23Speaker 6: that's easy one because you can just do a real
- 1:17:25Speaker 6: simple right that. Who in the hell? If you don't
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: like advanced cussing, you get who in hell? Drink all
- 1:17:36Speaker 6: in here.
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: It's the level.
- 1:17:38Speaker 11: This is level.
- 1:17:40Speaker 6: This is entry level cussing. This will get your started.
- 1:17:43Speaker 6: It'llt least help you out.
- 1:17:44Speaker 9: Can I ask you one up here?
- 1:17:45Speaker 13: Go?
- 1:17:46Speaker 9: Yes, you say, somebody keeps saying your name? Oh well
- 1:17:49Speaker 9: no Steve, Steve, Steve, Steve mother.
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: What see now the red you use that word right there, name,
- 1:18:06Speaker 6: So you have to give him name and that's why
- 1:18:10Speaker 6: you want to use that word right, yes, call.
- 1:18:15Speaker 5: It you guys.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: I got a question for Steve.
- 1:18:21Speaker 14: Come on, Carlo, can I borrow four hundred and fifty
- 1:18:26Speaker 14: thousand dollars than.
- 1:18:33Speaker 11: Erry?

- 1:25:29Speaker 10: All right, here we are, last break of the day,
- 1:25:32Speaker 10: Another fine day on the Steve Harvey Morton Show.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you so much for listening. All right, Steve,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: you're up closing remarks.
- 1:25:40Speaker 4: What you got?
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, more and more.
- 1:25:45Speaker 6: I try to share things that I learned as I
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: pick them up, you know, I try to, you know,
- 1:25:54Speaker 6: when I'm talking to people about.
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: My faith and my walk.
- 1:26:00Speaker 6: I guess I use myself as an example because I
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: wanted I try to simplify for people, because man, so
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: many people get turned off with traditional religion. And there's
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: nothing wrong with church.
- 1:26:15Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: I think that church is one of the great institutions
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: that that's ever been around, you know, But some people
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: can't get there, and some people get turned off by
- 1:26:24Speaker 6: people in the church.
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: When it's really the relationship with God that you try
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: to foster.
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: But there are some people in churches that can be
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: quite a turnof in you trying to find the piece
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: you're looking for in your life or the answers you're
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: looking for in your life, because you go to this
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: building and somebody in the building ain't really a good
- 1:26:47Speaker 6: example of Christian or whatever your faith is, and all
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: of a sudden they come in and they did they
- 1:26:54Speaker 6: full of more devil than being at a club.
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: Sometimes.
- 1:26:57Speaker 6: So what I what I try to people through my
- 1:27:02Speaker 6: own little form of testimonies, to show you that you
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: can have this walk with God just the way you are,
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: that you don't have to try to fix yourself to
- 1:27:12Speaker 6: have this relationship that you got to start somewhere. And God,
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: God deal with regular people all the time. God just
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: don't deal with the people that consider themselves holy. God
- 1:27:25Speaker 6: deal with regular people. God take regular people and turn
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: them into heroes. God take regular people. The Bible is
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: full of stories of regular people that God used as
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: an example, people who showed the extraordinary exhibitions of faith
- 1:27:42Speaker 6: and hope. And so I just try to share with
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: the people stuff that I learned along the way. One
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: of the things I was learning, man, was I had
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: to really learn to accept each day just as it
- 1:27:56Speaker 6: came to me. And that's what I want to share
- 1:27:58Speaker 6: with you today. You got to people, we got to
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: start accepting the day as it comes to you. Do
- 1:28:05Speaker 6: not waste your time and energy wishing for a different
- 1:28:10Speaker 6: set of circumstances because it's not going to happen. Do
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: you know how much time and energy you burn wishing
- 1:28:17Speaker 6: things weren't the way they were. Do you know how
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: much time and energy you've wished hoping something was different
- 1:28:26Speaker 6: and there's no way it can be different.
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: We're spending too much time with that.
- 1:28:32Speaker 6: You got to accept the things in the day that
- 1:28:35Speaker 6: you can't do anything about, and remember you and remember something, man,
- 1:28:41Speaker 6: that instead of that, start trusting in the process that
- 1:28:47Speaker 6: God has a special design and a special purpose for
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: you even with these difficulties. Man, you got to trust
- 1:28:54Speaker 6: in the process. His plan for you is different from
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: my plan, it's different from your mother's plan, it's different
- 1:29:01Speaker 6: from all your friends' plans. But don't so don't spend
- 1:29:07Speaker 6: that much time and energy like so many of us do,
- 1:29:11Speaker 6: like I've done. I can't count the times I did
- 1:29:13Speaker 6: it man wishing certain circumstances weren't the circumstances, but they are.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: It is what it is.
- 1:29:22Speaker 6: Now, what you gonna do about it? This could be
- 1:29:25Speaker 6: an opportunity for you to get closer to God. Sometimes
- 1:29:29Speaker 6: trials and tribulations and things come our way because God
- 1:29:33Speaker 6: just want us to be closer to it. You know
- 1:29:35Speaker 6: how people get aggravated all the time. People kill me
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: when they say this. He went to prison, he found
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: the Lord. He had to wait till he went to
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: prison and found the Lord. Okay, okay, but he found him.
- 1:29:49Speaker 7: No.
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: See, everybody ain't got to go to prison to find him.
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: You know how I found him. I found him living
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: in a car. You know how else I found him?
- 1:29:58Speaker 6: I found him when he took everyth thing from me twice.
- 1:30:02Speaker 6: You know how I found him. I found him out
- 1:30:04Speaker 6: to two divorces, man, when they just looked like I
- 1:30:07Speaker 6: wasn't gonna rise no more. And guess what, I keep
- 1:30:11Speaker 6: finding him over and over and over again. I keep
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: finding how great he really is. Every time a hardship
- 1:30:17Speaker 6: come in my life, I find out a little bit
- 1:30:19Speaker 6: more about it.
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: I find out just.
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: How powerful, how forgiving, how loving, how merciful, how graceful
- 1:30:26Speaker 6: he really is every time something happened, when.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: They write me off and he lifts me up again.
- 1:30:32Speaker 6: I keep finding out about him every day I wake
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: up how good he really is. So don't worry about
- 1:30:38Speaker 6: the brother. They go to prison and find it. And
- 1:30:41Speaker 6: now he want to tell me about the Lord he
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: been sitting in a cell. Well maybe that's what it took.
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: Maybe that's what it took. But the same thing it
- 1:30:49Speaker 6: took for him to find the Lord, something gonna happen
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: to you to make you find him too. And sometimes,
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: like I say, you need them trials and them tribulations
- 1:30:56Speaker 6: to get you in a better place. He trials in
- 1:30:59Speaker 6: triple relations ain't to break you in, to destroy you.
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: It's to strengthen you. You need all it is to
- 1:31:05Speaker 6: draw you closer. You think about it, you wouldn't even
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: go to God if you didn't need him. Must be
