- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all a suit on the don giving them
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the Milan bus things and it's tough y'all to
- 0:19Speaker 1: be true. Good Steve listening together for STU. Don't join
- 0:53Speaker 1: with me. You gotta use that turning you. You gotta
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turnout, got to turn out to turn turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water, come come on your back. Uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show. Well, a good morning everybody, y'all listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice. Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, I'll do man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: God is good. Hey today, I just want to get
- 2:15Speaker 1: right to it because this has really been pressing me.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I woke up and this was on my mind and
- 2:21Speaker 1: I wanted to share it with you because I know
- 2:24Speaker 1: this for a fact. See I've lived this for a fact.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And you know the majority of things I talk about
- 2:35Speaker 1: in the morning before we get started with the regular show,
- 2:39Speaker 1: it's something that I've experienced. I can only tell you
- 2:42Speaker 1: what I know. And so I've really really understood why
- 2:46Speaker 1: God has had my life go the way that is gone,
- 2:51Speaker 1: Because if I didn't have all these tests in my life,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I didn't have all these tests that I passed, all
- 2:58Speaker 1: these tests that I failed. If I didn't have all
- 3:03Speaker 1: of those the good and the bad, what could I
- 3:07Speaker 1: share with you in the morning? What could I tell
- 3:11Speaker 1: you about hanging? What could I tell you about failing
- 3:17Speaker 1: and then winning? What could I tell you about hanging
- 3:20Speaker 1: in now when all hope was gone? How could I
- 3:24Speaker 1: share that with you unless I've had those moments myself.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I don't care what happens to you. I don't care
- 3:34Speaker 1: what you're going through. Don't you dare dare give up?
- 3:40Speaker 1: Under no circumstances. Don't you dare dare ever give up?
- 3:48Speaker 1: It is the biggest trick that the enemy has is
- 3:53Speaker 1: making us think we ain't gonna make it, to water
- 3:59Speaker 1: down the illusion that there's a possibility that you might
- 4:05Speaker 1: still have a chance to get over. The biggest trick
- 4:09Speaker 1: he uses is when you make a mistake and you fall.
- 4:13Speaker 1: He gets you to start to thinking it's final, that
- 4:17Speaker 1: there is no resurrection, there is no redemption, there is
- 4:21Speaker 1: no recovery. He just makes you think it's final. He
- 4:25Speaker 1: is the master deceiver. Don't you dare dare ever give up?
- 4:31Speaker 1: I don't care what besets you befalls you, trips you up.
- 4:36Speaker 1: What circumstantial situations may arise, don't you dare dare ever
- 4:41Speaker 1: give up? Because listen to me, these are tests that
- 4:46Speaker 1: you are going through. And these tests, whether you pass
- 4:51Speaker 1: the test or appears that you've failed the test, the
- 4:55Speaker 1: test accomplishes the mission if you're smart about it. If
- 5:01Speaker 1: you pass the test. Let's say you're going through a
- 5:05Speaker 1: situation and you get over and it goes the way
- 5:07Speaker 1: you want it to do, then what you've learned is
- 5:11Speaker 1: if you hang in there, there's a light at the
- 5:15Speaker 1: end of the tunnel. Okay, mission accomplished. If you fail
- 5:20Speaker 1: the test and it doesn't go the way you want
- 5:24Speaker 1: it and it goes the opposite and it turns out
- 5:27Speaker 1: into a negative result, and in response you were looking
- 5:31Speaker 1: for is a no. That's not final. That doesn't mean
- 5:37Speaker 1: it's over, that doesn't mean it's time to turn back.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It simply means that now you have learned a valuable experience,
- 5:48Speaker 1: You have learned a valuable lesson. You now know what
- 5:53Speaker 1: not to do. You are now because you know what
- 5:57Speaker 1: not to do, another star up closer to getting it right.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Listen to me, it has to happen this way You
- 6:08Speaker 1: have to have the rain in your life to get
- 6:11Speaker 1: the flowers in your life. You got to have the
- 6:15Speaker 1: darkness in your life to appreciate the sunshine in your life.
- 6:21Speaker 1: You got to have woes and worries to appreciate the joys.
- 6:27Speaker 1: It is merely a test. So when you get through failing,
- 6:33Speaker 1: and you get through stumbling, and you get through messing
- 6:37Speaker 1: it up, all that's getting you one step closer to
- 6:42Speaker 1: getting it right. Oh, my relationship ended. I'll never be
- 6:46Speaker 1: able to find another person like that. Not only will
- 6:49Speaker 1: you not be able will not only will you be
- 6:52Speaker 1: able to find a person like that, you can find
- 6:56Speaker 1: a person that far better than that if you don't
- 7:00Speaker 1: give up. But see, sometimes you got to go through
- 7:04Speaker 1: the bad ones to get to the good ones. Don't
- 7:08Speaker 1: you dare? Dare ever give up? I don't care what
- 7:11Speaker 1: happens to you if you lose a love one. And
- 7:15Speaker 1: Lord knows, I've lost some people I've loved dearly with
- 7:20Speaker 1: every inch in me. I've lost my mother, my father,
- 7:26Speaker 1: my brother, and my best friend. I don't know. I
- 7:31Speaker 1: know people who have lost their children. Goodness, man, I
- 7:35Speaker 1: can't even imagine that, but they kept on going. What
- 7:41Speaker 1: you're giving up for Oh, I got you miss them,
- 7:44Speaker 1: and I got you grieving, but I got news for you.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Don't you let the devil make you think it's over
- 7:50Speaker 1: for you because somebody else ain't still here. It was
- 7:54Speaker 1: their time. Now. I'm not trying to lessen to blow
- 7:57Speaker 1: for you, but I'm trying to get you up on
- 7:58Speaker 1: your feet so you can stop all this old woe
- 8:02Speaker 1: is me because the things is happening to you. You're
- 8:04Speaker 1: not the first person that's happened to Come on, now,
- 8:06Speaker 1: let's get a grip. Let's wrap your mind around this thing.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You have got to move forward, if it's just in
- 8:13Speaker 1: memory of those people. I was on one of the
- 8:16Speaker 1: commercial breaks the other day and somebody asked me something
- 8:20Speaker 1: and I forgot the question, but my answer was, I
- 8:23Speaker 1: always wanted my mother and father to be proud of me,
- 8:27Speaker 1: and in that absence and their demise, I'm hoping, just
- 8:32Speaker 1: somehow man, that they watching me, that they see their boy,
- 8:37Speaker 1: that I'm down here, that I'm doing better, that I'm
- 8:40Speaker 1: making something about myself, that I'm loving my wife, that
- 8:43Speaker 1: I'm taking care of my kids. Just at my old
- 8:46Speaker 1: man to see that about me. You know, I want
- 8:49Speaker 1: my mother to see I'm trying to give my life
- 8:52Speaker 1: together over here. You know I'm saying, I'm trying to
- 8:55Speaker 1: be a better person. My mom was a Sunday school
- 8:57Speaker 1: teacher for forty years. She'd been praying for me for
- 8:59Speaker 1: a long time. I just hope, man, and that's all
- 9:03Speaker 1: I'm doing. It's just hoping that they see me so
- 9:06Speaker 1: they ain't be proud of me. See you, you you
- 9:09Speaker 1: you you. You got to understand that when you make
- 9:13Speaker 1: these mistakes, that when you fall and stumble and you
- 9:17Speaker 1: get it all so wrong, it ain't over for you.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Don't you dare dare dare ever? Give up? Don't stop thinking, man,
- 9:25Speaker 1: because it ain't happening just the way you wanted to that.
- 9:28Speaker 1: It ain't meant to be devil. He got so many
- 9:31Speaker 1: tricks to deceive you. You know why you're being tested
- 9:35Speaker 1: right now because there is no testimony without the test.
- 9:40Speaker 1: You got to go through something. It's all good man
- 9:44Speaker 1: telling you. I just wanted to share that with you.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Don't you give up out there. I don't care what's happening.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Don't don't, don't don't get deceived. The victory's coming, but
- 9:53Speaker 1: you ain't gonna get it if you quit. Hang on, y'all.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening tow all right, everybody. It's today after labor Day,
- 10:04Speaker 1: which means today you got to go back to work,
- 10:06Speaker 1: which means you go downstairs in the living room and

- 10:15Speaker 1: got to go that far and that right, Shirley Starberry,
- 10:17Speaker 1: you don't that you know what else? After labor day

- 11:16Speaker 1: even sound the same my ace boom, but my other
- 11:19Speaker 1: ace boom is none other than the King of Pranks,
- 11:22Speaker 1: mister Timmy. What's up, sir? It was happening in Baby

- 13:53Speaker 1: by now who bitter man is, it is the one
- 13:55Speaker 1: and only Jay Anthony Brown. Uh. We all know bitter

- 14:12Speaker 1: I'm ready? All right here? We got This one is
- 14:16Speaker 1: from Carrie and DC. Carrie says, I'm a twenty nine
- 14:18Speaker 1: year old engaged female and I'm sick of my fiance's
- 14:22Speaker 1: best friend. My girls planned an engagement brunch for us,
- 14:25Speaker 1: and my fiance told me that he can't make it
- 14:27Speaker 1: because he has plans to go fishing on his bestie's boat.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Whenever we are at dinner, his best he will pop
- 14:33Speaker 1: up at the restaurant to have a drink with us.
- 14:36Speaker 1: I do like the guy, but I'm sick of him
- 14:39Speaker 1: being in the way. He comes by our house a lot,
- 14:42Speaker 1: and I'm over it. I tried hooking him up with
- 14:45Speaker 1: a friend, but he said he's not ready for a commitment.
- 14:48Speaker 1: How can I politely let my fiance and his bestie
- 14:52Speaker 1: know that they're getting on my last nerves? Okay, your
- 14:57Speaker 1: best your bestie's friend is what's known in the business
- 15:01Speaker 1: as a look at him man. Every man has a
- 15:03Speaker 1: look at him man. A look at him man is
- 15:05Speaker 1: a man that will help you get out of the
- 15:08Speaker 1: situation that you're about to get into. So he has
- 15:12Speaker 1: pulled his buddy up and said, look at him. What
- 15:14Speaker 1: I need you to do is to break this up
- 15:17Speaker 1: because I just I ain't ready to go through this
- 15:19Speaker 1: at all, at all. I need you to show up unexpectedly.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I need you to get on her. Damn Nerve first, second, last,
- 15:27Speaker 1: and third. You'll call this whole thing off, and I'll
- 15:32Speaker 1: be free again and we can hang out as men.
- 15:35Speaker 1: That's what his job. Wow, look at him, man, Well,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I told you wasn't gonna be no happy answers. We
- 15:46Speaker 1: need to wait to Steve get back. This ain't gonna
- 15:48Speaker 1: be happy. Help me tomorrow, tomorrow, all right? From anwar
- 15:57Speaker 1: in Atlanta, Ann says, I'm day a female that I
- 16:00Speaker 1: met at the mall, and I can't take her anywhere
- 16:03Speaker 1: in public. We've been together for over six months, and
- 16:06Speaker 1: she can cook, she smells like candy, her toenails are
- 16:10Speaker 1: always painted white, and she's got skills in the bedroom.
- 16:14Speaker 1: The only problem is I can't take her anywhere. She
- 16:18Speaker 1: wears different colored wigs, clothes that show off all of
- 16:22Speaker 1: her tattoos, and she curses like a dirty old man.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I've been telling her we can't go out because of
- 16:27Speaker 1: social distancing. She didn't look like this when we met.
- 16:32Speaker 1: So should I tell her the truth or continue to
- 16:34Speaker 1: enjoy her behind closed doors? You need to enjoy her
- 16:40Speaker 1: behind closed doors. A good meal. I'm just putting this
- 16:44Speaker 1: out there like that. A good meal is not always present, right,
- 16:48Speaker 1: meaning a meaning. It might look like it ain't good,
- 16:52Speaker 1: but it really is good. And that's what you have.
- 16:55Speaker 1: You have something that don't look good when damn it
- 16:58Speaker 1: in the bedroom. This is delicious. This is keeping. Tell me,
- 17:04Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. You need to keep this. He's
- 17:08Speaker 1: got something. Keep it, Yes, keep you know man, Yes,
- 17:13Speaker 1: keep it behind closed doors. But it's your only little secret,
- 17:17Speaker 1: and she brings you all the joy that you need
- 17:20Speaker 1: and all the freakingness and nastiness. People are gonna judge
- 17:24Speaker 1: you if you break that outside. They gonna trust me.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Trust me, you're not gonna get this from a well
- 17:30Speaker 1: presented type person. You're not gonna get what you're getting.
- 17:33Speaker 1: It's not believe. She goes to a five star hotel
- 17:36Speaker 1: j with a bonnet on in the libby not let
- 17:43Speaker 1: me keep Oh, let her go in and check it
- 17:48Speaker 1: and you'll be up there shortly and enjoy yourself. Yeah,
- 17:52Speaker 1: but she can wear her bonnet. She's trying to save
- 17:55Speaker 1: her style restaurant into the abby of the hotel. She
- 18:01Speaker 1: can't do this. This is the people, the principal don't
- 18:05Speaker 1: want picking their kids up from school. This is I'm
- 18:09Speaker 1: surprised she hasn't said anything about not going out in public.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I'm surprised she hasn't said anything that's that's odd to me.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Smells know what she looked like, and I like her. Man,
- 18:28Speaker 1: you told her what she looks like? You all right?
- 18:33Speaker 1: This is from JT and Hampton. Um. I dated a
- 18:37Speaker 1: woman all through college and she wanted to get married,
- 18:39Speaker 1: but I didn't. I was honest with her, and she
- 18:41Speaker 1: told me she hated me and would never speak to
- 18:44Speaker 1: me again. It has been five years and I ran
- 18:48Speaker 1: into her last week and she looked past me like
- 18:51Speaker 1: I didn't exist. I still loved for her and want
- 18:57Speaker 1: to catch up with her and see how she's doing.
- 19:00Speaker 1: I may be ready to settle down now, and she's
- 19:02Speaker 1: the only woman I've ever loved, but she won't give
- 19:05Speaker 1: me the time of day. Is it possible that she
- 19:08Speaker 1: will ever speak to me again? Or should I move
- 19:11Speaker 1: on and find a new woman to build a future with. Okay,
- 19:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna answer that. I'm gonna go Christian with you,
- 19:18Speaker 1: and this this not zoom Church, but one time since then,
- 19:25Speaker 1: so but I'm going from past church experiences. Sometimes God,
- 19:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna use my quiet God voice. Sometimes the Lord
- 19:33Speaker 1: works in mysterious ways. Come on, really, does you know
- 19:37Speaker 1: in other words that they said in the color purple,
- 19:41Speaker 1: God is trying to tell you something, sun He really
- 19:43Speaker 1: is tell me you have something you like to add that? Okay,
- 19:48Speaker 1: sleep ad night. So wonder why maybe God is trying
- 19:55Speaker 1: to tell you something right now? Yes? What did she
- 20:01Speaker 1: trying to tell him? What Danny telling him this is
- 20:04Speaker 1: not the woman for you and you shouldn't get married.
- 20:07Speaker 1: He blocked her vision from you. Shit, if God hadn't
- 20:11Speaker 1: come in, God came in and said you will not
- 20:15Speaker 1: see him, and boom, she didn't see you. She sure didn't.
- 20:20Speaker 1: She looked straight past him like he didn't exist that
- 20:23Speaker 1: one number God, So bitter man says, move on with
- 20:29Speaker 1: your life. Thank you, bitter man. Coming up next, it
- 20:33Speaker 1: is a nephew would run that prank back right after this.
- 20:36Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 20:40Speaker 1: top of the hour. Miss Anna is standing by with
- 20:42Speaker 1: today's national news. Experts fear post Labor Day surge in

- 21:13Speaker 1: We'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 21:15Speaker 1: of the hour. But right now, the nephew is in
- 21:17Speaker 1: the building with run that prank back. What's your gut
- 21:20Speaker 1: for us? Nav? Toe truck driver? What love it? I
- 21:24Speaker 1: say it again to truck driver? Did one more tack?
- 21:28Speaker 1: Did have done this? Toad truck Candy? Man? He blew
- 21:35Speaker 1: out the whole electrical system and all, Hello, Hello, I'm trying.
- 21:38Speaker 1: I'm trying. I'm trying to find Candy. Who is this?
- 21:42Speaker 1: It's scanner man. Okay, you are you the guy with
- 21:45Speaker 1: the toe truck? You're you're the toe truck drivers trucking? Okay,
- 21:49Speaker 1: a man, you just started my girl cawn three days
- 21:52Speaker 1: ago and blew the old electrical system out. Man, I
- 21:56Speaker 1: did hold on, hold on, let me get back to
- 21:58Speaker 1: my truck, you said, I did. Man, You do jump
- 22:01Speaker 1: people's vehicles when they when they got to stall vehicle,
- 22:03Speaker 1: don't you right, that's what I do. I jumped vehicles. Yes, okay,
- 22:07Speaker 1: so you actually did my girl's car about three days ago. Man,
- 22:12Speaker 1: you just started her car. But now when you when
- 22:14Speaker 1: you over jumped it, it's what you did, okay. You
- 22:17Speaker 1: didn't blow out the whole electrical system in the whole car,

- 28:34Speaker 1: all the doctors appreciate. Damn all right, thank you, Thank you, nephew.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 28:41Speaker 1: some entertainment and national news for you right after this.
- 28:44Speaker 1: You're listening to show this past Saturday, Chadwick Boseman's wife,
- 28:52Speaker 1: Taylor Simone Ledward, and his family and friends, including Michael B. Jordan, Lupeta,
- 28:58Speaker 1: and the young they all attended a private memorial service
- 29:02Speaker 1: for Chadwick and Malibu. The memorial was held a week
- 29:05Speaker 1: after Chadwick passed away in August twenty eighth after a
- 29:08Speaker 1: private battle with colon cancer. We all saw Michael B.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Jordan's touching tribute post to his friend, which stated, in part,
- 29:15Speaker 1: you showed me how to be better on her purpose
- 29:19Speaker 1: and create a legacy. Chadwick's longtime agent and friend recently
- 29:23Speaker 1: revealed that Chadwick's decision to keep his health struggles private
- 29:27Speaker 1: okay and partly from his mother, Miss Carolyn Bowseman. She
- 29:31Speaker 1: taught him to not have people fuss over you. Chadwick
- 29:35Speaker 1: was a very private person and we want to say
- 29:38Speaker 1: again please rest in peace and condolences to his family
- 29:43Speaker 1: Chadwick Boseman. Still it's still hard to YEA, so shocking
- 29:50Speaker 1: that at forty three. Yeah, it really is such a great,
- 29:53Speaker 1: great talent, and from hearing what everyone's been saying, such
- 29:57Speaker 1: a beautiful spirit in person just a yeah, yeah, just
- 30:03Speaker 1: a general spirit, just a beautiful person. And m hmm. Yeah.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I feel for his wife, his family right now. I
- 30:13Speaker 1: like the fact that me and when me and Jane
- 30:14Speaker 1: brown Man that they told us not to go down
- 30:16Speaker 1: the yeah we went. Yeah, man, he did it right back.
- 30:26Speaker 1: He was such an awesome person. Man, his personality was
- 30:30Speaker 1: so inviting and with an impact he made on the world,
- 30:35Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, he came in, he made everyone notice
- 30:39Speaker 1: him and then wow, you can't stop black people wanted
- 30:43Speaker 1: to see black people, can't. I watched this movie this
- 30:48Speaker 1: past weekend. Yeah, get on it up. Still still my favorite. Yeah. Yeah,
- 30:55Speaker 1: And he has a nice body of work that you
- 30:57Speaker 1: could go back and look at me. Yes, he evergreens timeless. Yes. Yes.
- 31:04Speaker 1: The new movie Message from the King is really good. Too.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I haven't seen that yet, but I've
- 31:09Speaker 1: heard great things about it in other entertainment news. This
- 31:14Speaker 1: past Sunday service, Kanye held it in Fayetteville, Georgia. Imagine that.
- 31:19Speaker 1: During the service, Kanye seemingly it looked like anyway walking
- 31:23Speaker 1: on water with his daughter North and his son Saint,
- 31:26Speaker 1: plus the choir also took part in the walking on
- 31:29Speaker 1: the water visual. Lakewood Church pastor Yeah, yeah, you gotta
- 31:33Speaker 1: see it, Pastor Joel. It's really something though, it really was.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Lakewood Church Pastor Joel Oastin gave a sermon during the service.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian, of course, was there. His wife La La, Anthony,
- 31:45Speaker 1: two Chains, and Monica were all there, and despite their
- 31:49Speaker 1: public drama, Keim and Kanye have been working together to
- 31:52Speaker 1: save their marriage. Black white so that's goods Well, that's
- 31:56Speaker 1: the choir is mixed in it. Yeah, boy, can they thing?
- 32:01Speaker 1: You think? So? You don't have water? That the whole
- 32:05Speaker 1: of full black wire, that's all. We're not walking on,
- 32:09Speaker 1: not walking on? Are you right now? Are we rocking?
- 32:14Speaker 1: When we marched? They have to have floats. If you've
- 32:22Speaker 1: got faith, you could do it. Jail, I'm with Jail.
- 32:28Speaker 1: With jail man. I don't know I was jail man
- 32:33Speaker 1: because the benches. It's time to get caught up on
- 32:39Speaker 1: today's headlines. Jay, let's go all right, everybody, It's time
- 32:43Speaker 1: for miss a and trip. This is a trip with
- 32:45Speaker 1: the news, everybody, and good morning, and welcome back to
- 32:47Speaker 1: those folks who took off the other day and come
- 32:49Speaker 1: back to work today. The governor of California has declared
- 32:53Speaker 1: a state of emergency with some two dozen major fires
- 32:56Speaker 1: is still burning with record high temperatures making them even
- 32:59Speaker 1: harder to bring under control. For instance, in La County
- 33:02Speaker 1: this past weekend, the temperature hit are you ready one
- 33:05Speaker 1: hundred and twenty one degrees. That's in La County. That's
- 33:08Speaker 1: the highest number ever recorded there. Further north, more than
- 33:11Speaker 1: two hundred people had to be airlifted from a campground
- 33:14Speaker 1: near Fresno. That in California and our Labor Day news conference,
- 33:17Speaker 1: President Trump talked about his success with the economy. He
- 33:20Speaker 1: didn't mention what the coronavirus had done to the economy,
- 33:23Speaker 1: but he did mention his battle with China. Under my administration,
- 33:26Speaker 1: we will make America into the manufacturing superpower of the
- 33:30Speaker 1: world and will end our reliance on China once and
- 33:33Speaker 1: for all, whether it's decoupling or putting in massive tariffs
- 33:37Speaker 1: like I've been doing already. We're going to end our
- 33:39Speaker 1: reliance in China. And Trump added that he would prohibit
- 33:42Speaker 1: federal contracts be given to companies that outsourced to China. Meanwhile,
- 33:47Speaker 1: his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, spent Labor Day in Lancaster, Pennsylvania,
- 33:51Speaker 1: with union people. The union leaders, including the head of
- 33:54Speaker 1: the AFA l Cio Richard Trumpka, joined Biden as he
- 33:57Speaker 1: touted the strengths of unions. The only power out there
- 34:00Speaker 1: to counter the abuse and extreme abuse of corporate power
- 34:04Speaker 1: is unions. Labor the only ones who had the wherewithal
- 34:08Speaker 1: to take it on. And Biden says as president, he
- 34:11Speaker 1: would mandate that any contracts involving federal money would have
- 34:14Speaker 1: to be made in America. They would have a made
- 34:16Speaker 1: in America, he says requirement. In Minneapolis today, new use
- 34:20Speaker 1: of force rules for police go into effect. Minnesota law
- 34:23Speaker 1: made is to come up with something called the Minnesota
- 34:25Speaker 1: Police Accountability Act, which raises a threshold for use of
- 34:29Speaker 1: force by cops, including deadly force. They're not going to
- 34:32Speaker 1: be able to do to use chokeholes or anything like that. However,
- 34:35Speaker 1: several local lawmakers say they really is not that much
- 34:38Speaker 1: different than what people expect and what's already on the books,
- 34:42Speaker 1: and they hope that they get come up with another
- 34:44Speaker 1: law that's kind of tightens things up a little bit
- 34:47Speaker 1: more and raises a threshold, especially for violence by cops
- 34:50Speaker 1: a little lower. Sad news, Mayor League Baseball player Lou
- 34:54Speaker 1: Brock has died at age eighty one. Hall of Famer
- 34:57Speaker 1: lou Brock was a fifteen year mainstay with the Saint
- 34:59Speaker 1: Louis Cardinals. He was a two time World Series champion,
- 35:02Speaker 1: and he was a six time All Star, mister lou Brock.
- 35:06Speaker 1: And finally, results of another one of those wacky survey
- 35:09Speaker 1: show that people who only drink coffee or tea in
- 35:11Speaker 1: the morning have the best jobs. If people eat a
- 35:14Speaker 1: full breakfast or cereals, they apparently make friends easily, and
- 35:17Speaker 1: if they start today with a peanut butter sandwich, they're
- 35:20Speaker 1: the best lovers. At least that's what they say. Being
- 35:24Speaker 1: Agel tangel Tan Back to the Steve Harvey Moor listening.
- 35:33Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Morning Show, all right, as we
- 35:37Speaker 1: often do it, this time when Jay is here, you know,
- 35:39Speaker 1: he's crazy, so we like to look inside his crazy
- 35:42Speaker 1: mind and see what he's thinking. And then today he
- 35:45Speaker 1: brought along his partner in crime, nephew, Tommy. So let's
- 35:51Speaker 1: look inside the mind of Jay Anthony Brown. And because
- 35:54Speaker 1: this is very serious, we've always been here to help people. Yeah,
- 36:01Speaker 1: this time I think we've solved the problem for people
- 36:03Speaker 1: who need a lot of help. We know men, not
- 36:06Speaker 1: the women. I have not seen their side pieces. They've
- 36:10Speaker 1: been side piece deprived, right right, and we haven't either.
- 36:15Speaker 1: But we have all the answers to all your problems.
- 36:19Speaker 1: We have strategically figured out what to do. So go ahead.
- 36:23Speaker 1: We put a lot of work into this. You know
- 36:25Speaker 1: what will work, what would not work? No, don't do that.
- 36:28Speaker 1: We stayed a lot of study, a lot of case studies,
- 36:30Speaker 1: zooming one another back and forth. No, that's now, I
- 36:33Speaker 1: don't do this one's And what we've come up what
- 36:36Speaker 1: come up with is something called the truck. Tell them
- 36:40Speaker 1: the truck. Let me let me just give you some
- 36:42Speaker 1: insight on this. The truck. It could be a moving van,
- 36:45Speaker 1: a you all truck. It could be a seament truck.
- 36:49Speaker 1: It could be an ice cream truck. You know, it
- 36:51Speaker 1: could be the you know, whatever kind of truck. You know,
- 36:55Speaker 1: any kind of truck works, so just be aware of
- 36:57Speaker 1: the trucks. Go ahead, Jack, the name name kind of
- 37:00Speaker 1: says it all. But what we're gonna do is break
- 37:02Speaker 1: it down and really explain it to you. Okay, okay,
- 37:06Speaker 1: you tell your mate, you tell you made of your
- 37:08Speaker 1: loved one or your wife for it. Baby, I'm going
- 37:12Speaker 1: for a walk, no problem. Everything's cool because you know
- 37:15Speaker 1: you were in the house. You need to get out
- 37:17Speaker 1: on the walk, so break down. But you're actually going
- 37:20Speaker 1: inside the truck, and the truck is laid out small,
- 37:31Speaker 1: I mean, and we went completely old school with this.
- 37:34Speaker 1: We're not trying to you know, we're not. We're going
- 37:36Speaker 1: strictly old school. We got crushed velvet blankets up in there.
- 37:40Speaker 1: We got the black lights, we got the hot tub,
- 37:44Speaker 1: we got the ground carpet nice. So we're in the
- 37:51Speaker 1: seventies all over again. You don't you don't vacuum this carpet.
- 37:55Speaker 1: You rake it. You understand, break it, so check it out.
- 38:00Speaker 1: When you hear the truck horn, its time to get
- 38:04Speaker 1: it on. That's out, Sloven. When you hit him trub
- 38:06Speaker 1: home get time to get it on. That's when you
- 38:10Speaker 1: was outside. You'll be side again. All right, thank you guys.
- 38:18Speaker 1: We're going taking us inside a shock I got we
- 38:24Speaker 1: who are all right? Coming up in thirty four minutes
- 38:32Speaker 1: after the hour. Doctor dre' is a strange wife wants
- 38:35Speaker 1: two million dollars per month. Yeah, he's a billionaire. I
- 38:39Speaker 1: love it, and we're gonna talk about it right after this.
- 38:43Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Doctor dre
- 38:47Speaker 1: is a strange wife, Nicole Young wants nearly get this
- 38:51Speaker 1: Carla two million dollars per month and temporary spouse of

- 39:40Speaker 1: just buying clothes, Carlin, I know you can relate to that.
- 39:43Speaker 1: How much you guys think How much do you guys think?
- 39:46Speaker 1: I think I think seven hundred a month. I said
- 39:49Speaker 1: seven hundred a month. Right, you take care of Jay.
- 39:57Speaker 1: What do you think, hunch, She's already has stuff. You
- 40:01Speaker 1: ain't going nowhere. You ain't going to rotate some of
- 40:04Speaker 1: that stuff. You get a hundred and thirty five thousand
- 40:07Speaker 1: dollars a month, that's what I'm talking about, nicoll. And
- 40:10Speaker 1: that's a little low. That's a little low. Yeah, step
- 40:14Speaker 1: your games, yes, yes, okay. Education that means tuition and
- 40:19Speaker 1: living expenses sixty thousand dollars a month. Cool. So remember
- 40:25Speaker 1: she's looking at two million entertainment. Entertainment, Okay, you gotta
- 40:33Speaker 1: get you. And then she she's not paying the number.
- 40:37Speaker 1: What's the number for entertainment? Nine hundred thousand dollars a

- 40:49Speaker 1: So look, this is what this is what she used
- 40:56Speaker 1: to She's not going down in lifestyle charitable contra aributions,
- 41:00Speaker 1: which is commendable. She makes uh, you know, contributions to
- 41:04Speaker 1: her different charities. That's one hundred and twenty five thousand
- 41:07Speaker 1: dollars per month, right, there giving back back. That's right,
- 41:10Speaker 1: that's right, keep going, Okay, No, Drake is giving back Okay, Okay,
- 41:21Speaker 1: she's got to have some place to live, right, we

- 41:27Speaker 1: to have that one hundred thousand dollars per month, yes, Nicole, Yes,

- 41:37Speaker 1: is this chier leading you doing for this? She wants
- 41:41Speaker 1: back flips for this. The key word is he of
- 41:48Speaker 1: being the right and he didn't. He didn't get there
- 41:52Speaker 1: on his own. Okay, No, she helped him. But what
- 41:55Speaker 1: helped him? What? Lyrics? She wrote? You don't know that, well,
- 41:58Speaker 1: you don't know what what? Okay, music, ginger, what you
- 42:04Speaker 1: don't know what she helped him with with? She came
- 42:09Speaker 1: up with j He wrote one of his songs you
- 42:13Speaker 1: don't even know, okay, saying don't I'm taking killed, But
- 42:19Speaker 1: I'm not done. I'm not done with the extent. I'm
- 42:23Speaker 1: done looking at him. But we all have self cell phones, right,
- 42:28Speaker 1: we all have cell phones. I'm about twenty grand a month,
- 42:32Speaker 1: which has not many clones. We talked, we ain't paying
- 42:35Speaker 1: for your mama phone? And why not? You've been paying
- 42:39Speaker 1: for it. Your mama will be talking. Can I say something?
- 42:42Speaker 1: A man the voice more than anybody. Uh, she is
- 42:48Speaker 1: going to beat his ass in court to pay. Yeah,
- 42:55Speaker 1: he's better be glad she's only asked for two million
- 42:58Speaker 1: a month. Him out, Yeah, all right. Nicole is also
- 43:04Speaker 1: challenging the pre nup. She claimed that she was forced
- 43:08Speaker 1: to sign it back in nineteen ninety six, but she said,
- 43:11Speaker 1: two years into the marriage, doctor Trey tore it up.
- 43:13Speaker 1: And he tore up multiple copies of the pre nup.
- 43:16Speaker 1: So there you go. You ain't gonna take we can
- 43:18Speaker 1: put that back together. We don't know way we know,
- 43:23Speaker 1: get your money boo. Yeah, And there's a whole bunch

- 44:40Speaker 1: the children that's going on their vacation next year. Oh
- 44:44Speaker 1: you said all the other chore members. I never heard
- 44:46Speaker 1: anything from them, All of the chore members. We probably

- 45:09Speaker 1: they called me Ba, I'm sorry. Okay, did I meet
- 45:12Speaker 1: you at the church? Uh? Well, I just joined about
- 45:15Speaker 1: three weeks ago and they've already given me an assignment.
- 45:19Speaker 1: So I made you in marketing in school. So they're
- 45:22Speaker 1: trying to get me to take care of the children
- 45:25Speaker 1: and their vacation that's coming up. We put together some things,
- 45:27Speaker 1: a great fundraiser, and you know, the choir members have
- 45:31Speaker 1: been very receptive. You're the last one for me to call,
- 45:33Speaker 1: and I wanted to make sure you on board with us. Okay, yeah,
- 45:37Speaker 1: I just never heard about this, so right right now?
- 45:40Speaker 1: Are you able to bring your choir robe on on Saturday?
- 45:44Speaker 1: H Yeah, we sing were singing a song? What song?
- 45:47Speaker 1: Did you need us to sing? Did you tell the
- 45:50Speaker 1: password about this? No? No, no, you guys are not
- 45:52Speaker 1: actually going to be singing a song. What it is
- 45:55Speaker 1: is that we're having a uh. And I'm glad. I'm
- 45:59Speaker 1: so glad. You're you're you're you're ready to participate in
- 46:01Speaker 1: what we're doing. So I want to first of all,
- 46:03Speaker 1: say thank you first and foremost, I want to say
- 46:06Speaker 1: thank you. Okay, all right, so what is all right,
- 46:12Speaker 1: I'm sorry, is that we need the robes for I
- 46:14Speaker 1: can bring my robe about just the roll. What what's
- 46:17Speaker 1: gonna happen is you guys aren't singing a song, but
- 46:19Speaker 1: we're having a wet robe uh contest? So what now
- 46:25Speaker 1: a wet robe contest? You're talking about like a wet
- 46:29Speaker 1: T shirt contest type of thing. Well, it's not a
- 46:33Speaker 1: T shirt, it's a robe. So you don't have a
- 46:35Speaker 1: T shirt on? What what we need you to do with? No, no, no, no,
- 46:38Speaker 1: no no no. Not in the church. You're talking about
- 46:41Speaker 1: the whole they do a uh, a wet robe contest.
- 46:47Speaker 1: You said a wet robe contest. I heard of a
- 46:50Speaker 1: wet T shirt contest. That's not that's not the same thing, though,
- 46:53Speaker 1: rack Well, no, it's a little bit different. What it is.
- 46:56Speaker 1: You don't have a T shirt on. You actually have
- 46:59Speaker 1: your your your our robo and you don't have anything
- 47:03Speaker 1: or underneath it. You don't wear any clothes unneath. And
- 47:05Speaker 1: what we do is all of ladies listen to me,
- 47:09Speaker 1: We're gonna let wet all of the ladies down, and
- 47:12Speaker 1: the sexiest one that's wet with their role at is
- 47:17Speaker 1: gonna win five hundred dollars and half for the money
- 47:20Speaker 1: is gonna go to the children's vacation. Hello, you're talking
- 47:25Speaker 1: about a wet t shirt contest in the church. No,
- 47:28Speaker 1: I'm talking about a wet rod contest at the church. No,
- 47:31Speaker 1: I'm not in there, getting there and and and be
- 47:34Speaker 1: naked under. It's gonna be it's gonna be out. It's
- 47:36Speaker 1: gonna be out. We need you to be completely naked
- 47:40Speaker 1: under your road and we're gonna win everybody down with
- 47:43Speaker 1: the water holes and the finest one is going to
- 47:46Speaker 1: be able to uh to win five hundred dollars and
- 47:49Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty of that half of that money
- 47:52Speaker 1: is gonna go to the children's They cald on, Hold on,
- 47:54Speaker 1: what do you say your name was? Again? My name?
- 47:57Speaker 1: My name is Bryan Ran. How long you've been a
- 47:59Speaker 1: member of the church, Because I don't ever remember me. Okay,
- 48:03Speaker 1: I've been remembered for about three weeks now, Like I said,
- 48:07Speaker 1: since I was a major in marketing. They actually threw
- 48:10Speaker 1: me into no way after three weeks that they're gonna
- 48:13Speaker 1: put you in charge of something. I don't understand. What
- 48:15Speaker 1: another problem with you trying to I don't even know
- 48:19Speaker 1: you are. They're trying to create that you don't want
- 48:26Speaker 1: to help kids. I want to help the kids, but
- 48:28Speaker 1: I'm not gonna get up there and no choir road.
- 48:30Speaker 1: I'm doing my best right now not to cuss you
- 48:32Speaker 1: out because I'm a woman of gude. So you're too
- 48:35Speaker 1: good to be naked under your role? Is that what
- 48:37Speaker 1: you're saying? You're too good? Look, I don't have to
- 48:40Speaker 1: explain myself, but I'm not gonna be naked up to
- 48:43Speaker 1: no church. Okay, So, so you can't do the naked
- 48:46Speaker 1: road car card. You can't do that for the kid.
- 48:49Speaker 1: I know you're not about to tell me what I
- 48:51Speaker 1: can and can I do for no kids. Now. I
- 48:53Speaker 1: don't know who gave you my number, but I think
- 48:55Speaker 1: you need to figure out who else to call for
- 48:56Speaker 1: this because I'm not gonna be a part of this.
- 48:58Speaker 1: We called all the other cho members and they don't
- 49:01Speaker 1: have a problem with it. Office fire members. What are
- 49:05Speaker 1: they names? What are the choire members? Did you call
- 49:08Speaker 1: that we called? We called sister Sister Bridget in the choir.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Sister Bridget didn't have a problem with it. Ain't no
- 49:16Speaker 1: sister Bridget in the choir. Okay, how about Sister Rachel.
- 49:21Speaker 1: So Sir Rachel in the choir was fine with it.
- 49:25Speaker 1: A ain't no, Sister Rachel. Sister Rachel wouldn't be getting naked. Okay, okay, okay,
- 49:31Speaker 1: let me ask you to something. Let you know, I
- 49:34Speaker 1: know you think, I think. Do you know Sister Devita
- 49:39Speaker 1: in the choir? Hello? Yes? Do you know Sister Divita
- 49:45Speaker 1: in the choir? Yes, I know Sister Divita. Okay. So,
- 49:50Speaker 1: so if Sister Divita said that Sister Bridge and Sister
- 49:55Speaker 1: Rachel didn't have a problem doing it, why do you
- 49:58Speaker 1: have a problem doing it. I'm not about to be
- 50:01Speaker 1: naked in a church. But kid, you're not getting naked
- 50:04Speaker 1: into the church. You're gonna be in the back part
- 50:07Speaker 1: of the church and we're gonna spray you down with
- 50:09Speaker 1: a water holes on your roade. That's what We're not
- 50:11Speaker 1: gonna be up there. This is disgusting what Thomas said
- 50:14Speaker 1: you would do it. Thomas said you didn't have no
- 50:16Speaker 1: problem doing it. Who the hell it's Tommy. We don't
- 50:19Speaker 1: even have a Tommy at the church. You keep making
- 50:21Speaker 1: up all of these naids. Tommy is nephew Tom from
- 50:25Speaker 1: the Steve Harby Morning Show. That's who Tommy is. Hello, Yes,
- 50:32Speaker 1: This is Tommy, baby, this is nephew Tommy. How you
- 50:37Speaker 1: do it? Oh my god, that's not real. This is
- 50:41Speaker 1: not it's not real. Baby. That nobody was calling you
- 50:44Speaker 1: about doing a wet roadecause you are you. I was
- 50:48Speaker 1: gonna go out on you. You were already going off
- 50:51Speaker 1: on me. The Vida got me to prank phone call you.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm gonna get I was told of
- 51:01Speaker 1: my time. What you're saying, youre about to cut I
- 51:03Speaker 1: was about to cut you out right out. Maybe I
- 51:06Speaker 1: gotta ask you, gotta tell me what's the baddest and
- 51:09Speaker 1: I mean the baddest radio show in the lake. There's
- 51:13Speaker 1: always different ways to raise money for the church. You
- 51:16Speaker 1: know what I'm saying? Wow too much? Ain't nothing wrong
- 51:21Speaker 1: with wet robe. That ain't going on. It's wrong with
- 51:24Speaker 1: the bake sale. This will be the bake sale, Hands
- 51:26Speaker 1: to none. I used to love the bake sale at
- 51:30Speaker 1: my church. There's right, cookies selling cookies are nice, but
- 51:35Speaker 1: wet cookies man's money. Thank you sir. That wet robe on,
- 51:42Speaker 1: let's get it cracking, Let's do it. Yea. Do they
- 51:47Speaker 1: still wear robes? I haven't seen rob Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 51:51Speaker 1: but not so much in the summertime. Yeah, not somebody
- 51:54Speaker 1: actually does it so much in the summertime when it's hot. Yeah,
- 51:58Speaker 1: but yeah they do. They need to robes because everybody
- 52:01Speaker 1: out the bit ain't abyss the royal blue with the
- 52:04Speaker 1: gold collar. Some of them look way too hot though, shirty.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Some of them look like you. That's why I save money,
- 52:12Speaker 1: to save money, to save money. The people in the
- 52:14Speaker 1: back row have shorter of robes. That way they on
- 52:21Speaker 1: the run yet. All right, a halter rope, Thank you, nephew.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Coming up next Strawberry Letter, subject don't bring any more

- 53:33Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here it is. It's a
- 53:35Speaker 1: strawberry letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject don't bring any more
- 53:39Speaker 1: kids to my house. Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a
- 53:42Speaker 1: sixty two year old married man and I've been married
- 53:45Speaker 1: for thirty years. My wife and I have one daughter
- 53:49Speaker 1: that is thirty one years old, and she still lives
- 53:52Speaker 1: in our house with her husband and their three children,
- 53:56Speaker 1: and she has a nerve to announce that she wants
- 53:58Speaker 1: another child. I have told her not to bring any
- 54:01Speaker 1: more kids to my house, but she thinks I'm joking.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Our daughter and her family need to leave our house
- 54:08Speaker 1: or I'm going to leave our house. When my daughter
- 54:10Speaker 1: went off to college, my wife and I purchase the
- 54:13Speaker 1: five bedroom home of our dreams and we wanted to
- 54:15Speaker 1: have space for our mothers and grandchildren to come visit.
- 54:19Speaker 1: The intent was for them to visit, not move in
- 54:23Speaker 1: our master bedroom is on the first level, so my
- 54:26Speaker 1: daughter and her family have the upstairs level of the
- 54:28Speaker 1: home to themselves. Each one of the children has his
- 54:32Speaker 1: or her own bedroom, so it's a perfect setup for them.
- 54:35Speaker 1: I work a full time job and I'm tired of
- 54:38Speaker 1: coming home to screaming kids and toy spread out all
- 54:41Speaker 1: on the floor. My wife says I'm overreacting because she
- 54:45Speaker 1: loves having our grandchildren with her all of the time.
- 54:48Speaker 1: She doesn't even mind that she's being used as a
- 54:50Speaker 1: built in babysitter. My son in law does pay his
- 54:53Speaker 1: share of the bills, but I have encouraged him to
- 54:56Speaker 1: save up so he can get his own dream home soon.
- 55:00Speaker 1: He and my daughter always say that they can't afford
- 55:02Speaker 1: a home in an area with an ideal school system
- 55:05Speaker 1: like ours. I told them that they could use our
- 55:07Speaker 1: address to send the kids to school, but they need
- 55:10Speaker 1: to move out. This has caused a huge riff in
- 55:13Speaker 1: my marriage, so I need your help. I'm honestly thinking
- 55:16Speaker 1: about leaving, and my wife doesn't understand. Why. Please help?
- 55:22Speaker 1: WHOA what a dilemma? This is a family situation here,
- 55:26Speaker 1: unlike you know, I mean, this is serious, this is serious.
- 55:29Speaker 1: I'll just put it like that, and I completely understand
- 55:32Speaker 1: how you feel. We've said it so many times on
- 55:34Speaker 1: this show that your home should be a retreat. Your
- 55:37Speaker 1: home should be your solace. Your home should be your
- 55:40Speaker 1: sanctuary where you can come and just chill after a
- 55:43Speaker 1: long day after work. Who wants to hear screaming kids
- 55:47Speaker 1: and toys and all that this is your home? Who
- 55:49Speaker 1: wants to deal with that? No one should ever feel
- 55:51Speaker 1: like a prisoner in their own home. And what your
- 55:54Speaker 1: daughter and her family are doing, it's selfish and it's inconsiderate,
- 55:59Speaker 1: and they really have no right to do it. And
- 56:01Speaker 1: I think your wife is wrong too, because she's siding
- 56:03Speaker 1: with your daughter. Sure she loves her grandkids. Sure, okay,
- 56:07Speaker 1: who doesn't love their grandkids? But I mean I think
- 56:11Speaker 1: she has her priorities mixed up. Your wife does. Your
- 56:14Speaker 1: wife is putting your daughter up there where you should
- 56:18Speaker 1: always be. So you have no allies in this situation,
- 56:22Speaker 1: and they're not trying to hear anything you have to say. Dad,
- 56:26Speaker 1: I suggest you have a real serious talk with your
- 56:29Speaker 1: wife and let her know exactly how you feel once
- 56:33Speaker 1: and for all. I mean, she's not taking you seriously either.
- 56:36Speaker 1: I think that you need to tell her that you're
- 56:38Speaker 1: seriously thinking about walking out, and that this marriage is
- 56:41Speaker 1: in trouble, and this was the house you wanted to
- 56:43Speaker 1: get for her. I think you need to express all
- 56:46Speaker 1: of those things. Hopefully she'll get on board with you.
- 56:50Speaker 1: You are her husband. I hope she'll support you. You
- 56:53Speaker 1: gotta let your daughter and her family know that they
- 56:55Speaker 1: have to go. You gotta do it. You gotta give
- 56:58Speaker 1: them a time frame. You gotta tell them you're gonna
- 57:00Speaker 1: change the locks after that, say three months, say six months,
- 57:03Speaker 1: even since they have kids. That'll give them enough time
- 57:07Speaker 1: to find their home and all of that to find
- 57:09Speaker 1: a new place to live. Help them start packing as well,
- 57:15Speaker 1: because they need to know that you're serious. I think
- 57:17Speaker 1: once you do that, they will start taking you seriously
- 57:20Speaker 1: and realize that they have to go. Everyone knows that
- 57:24Speaker 1: Steve's out today, So we're gonna hear from Bethella's on this.
- 57:26Speaker 1: When Jay, you're up, don't bring any more kids to
- 57:31Speaker 1: my house. This man has been through enough. He says,
- 57:34Speaker 1: he's worked hard. He has the home that he's always wanted.
- 57:38Speaker 1: His daughter went to college. When she went to college,
- 57:41Speaker 1: he figured that she would be gone. What she did
- 57:43Speaker 1: was brought back a husband. Then she brought one kid,
- 57:46Speaker 1: then she brought another kid. Now she has three kids.
- 57:50Speaker 1: I don't know if you know how to cuss, sir,
- 57:53Speaker 1: but you need to learn how to cuss real hard.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Now these kids, they might be right at the cussing
- 58:02Speaker 1: age where you can cuss these kids completely out and
- 58:07Speaker 1: lay it on them really really hard, so so so
- 58:10Speaker 1: that so that your daughter will pick these kids up
- 58:13Speaker 1: and get out of there. And they need to be,
- 58:16Speaker 1: like surely said, they need to be put out. You
- 58:19Speaker 1: don't give them a time. They've had enough time. Put
- 58:23Speaker 1: put their ass out tomorrow. Kids, put them out tomorrow.
- 58:29Speaker 1: And if your wife has a problem, put her ass
- 58:31Speaker 1: out to What you have not had in this house
- 58:36Speaker 1: is peace and quiet. So you put the daughter out
- 58:40Speaker 1: with the kids. If your wife looks at you funny,
- 58:43Speaker 1: and you might get a funny look, put her ass
- 58:46Speaker 1: out too. You don't have a peaceful house. That's the
- 58:50Speaker 1: way I see it, and that's the way it ought
- 58:52Speaker 1: to be everybody. I mean, they really are taking advantage
- 58:58Speaker 1: of the dad. I mean, I'm sure he paid for
- 59:00Speaker 1: college and all. And what kind of man is her husband?
- 59:04Speaker 1: You know? Yeah, no more discussion tomorrow. Y'all got to
- 59:10Speaker 1: go to y'all got to go today Today. We need
- 59:15Speaker 1: more out today, Junior and Tommy, we'll hear from you
- 59:21Speaker 1: after the break. Uh. Part two coming up in twenty
- 59:25Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour Today Strawberry letters, subject don't
- 59:28Speaker 1: bring any more kids into my house. You're listening to
- 59:32Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here we go. We got
- 59:35Speaker 1: to recap this strawberry letter, the subject don't bring any
- 59:38Speaker 1: more kids into my house. It was written by a
- 59:40Speaker 1: sixty two year old married man. He's been married for
- 59:43Speaker 1: thirty years. Uh. He he has one daughter with his
- 59:47Speaker 1: wife of thirty years. They bought their dream home, five bedrooms.
- 59:51Speaker 1: He sent his daughter to college. I'm sure. Then here
- 59:53Speaker 1: she comes back, like Jay said earlier, with a husband
- 59:56Speaker 1: and three kids, and she's thinking about having another one.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: The problem with that is the daughter and the husband
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: and the three kids live with the mom and dad.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: The dad is sick of it. He comes home from
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: work screaming, kids, toys everywhere, just a mess. He wants
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: some peace and quiet, and his wife is not on
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: board with this. She says she loves the fact that
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: she can see her grandkids every day, so this is
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: not working out. The dad is thinking about leaving home.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: No one is taking him seriously. He needs to get
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: out of there or get them out of there anyway. Okay,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: we heard from me, we heard from Jay. Now it's
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: time to hear from you, Junior, what you got and
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: then of course nephew will hear from you. I'm all
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: on the lines with Jay, but I really, I really
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: feel it is man, I really do, because he don't
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: know what to do, he has no idea. I want
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: to take what Jay said. I want to just build
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: upon that because what we need him to do is
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: we to do it in a faster pace. And what
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: I suggest this is just me turn your house in
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Jewish strip club right away. What hey, hey, he got
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: a wife, but he's the manager. He the manager the cause.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: See day d kids need to see some shocking stuff.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: They need the Mercedanes to go walk right by and
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: say hey, how you doing, a little man. They need
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: to see somebody half naked walk by and say hey,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: little man. See everybody need to get out of here.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: You can't control all this stuff that's going on. And
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I'm with Jane, you got to get out of this
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: house right now. But it's your house. Don't leave your house.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: You got the five bedroom house you ever dreamed of,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: You got it. Turn that five bed room into a
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: full bed room strip club. I swear to God, we
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: can get some action here. You need cigars smoking here
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: right now. You need kids coughing. See here, now we
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: got Now we're dealing with health issues. See now, Yeah,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: we ain't see kids is coughing that? See what kids
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: say in COVID you gotta gough gotta go in COVID.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: The daughter and the husband don't want to go, they say,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: because they can't find a good school system in that name.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: This is about more people being in the house. We're
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: not caring about your education. See first of all, all
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: y'all standing in this house, we didn't care about no education.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: We need everybody to get out fast as we can. Okay,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: thank you, Junior Temmy. We gotta be a little more
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: serious and try to help these people. Now, you guys,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: y'all doing y'all thing. We gotta at least have it's
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: one person that's trying to be serious about this issue.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: At I really truly believe that what this man needs
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: to do, he needs to get a told both built
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: in his house. Right by the stairway. You understand what
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I'm saying. See a stairway. Here's a you have to
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you can't. You can't come downstairs unless you pay a toll.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: You understand what I'm saying. All right, all these kids
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: going up and down. Every time somebody comes downstairs, that
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: five dollars every time they go back, like five dollars.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: We need a toll. You need a toll booth in
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: your house, your kitchen. Can't nobody to you that less
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: they that's thirty dollars. You understand what I'm saying. You
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: can look, you can literally buy them out of that.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: You can promise you. They're gonna run out of money
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: being at this house. Another thing to throw it in.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: They face cook, some have some barbecues. You can't have
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: the plates. Plates is twinted out when you want to
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: PLATEOQ plate when everything costs round here and matter of fact,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: here's another thing. You got to be upstairs by ten
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: and you cannot run you hell yeah, and you can't
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: run no water nothing up there till seven a m
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: like that. That is okay. Now we're getting some Yeah,
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: you can't put it. We're gonna slow some of this down, Tobo,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: water control, food control. That's all I got for you
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: want to add to that. Toilet paper should not be
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: free in this house. Each little square is a penny. Yes,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Now you decide how clean you want to be with
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: each little square. That's why y'all covered my whole point,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: because I think that if you get in this strip club,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: it's a cover change. Hello, I know he fives. I
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: don't care if he fives. He's not. He has to
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: pay the comeback in this house though. You just can't
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: be walking around in there like that. And you got
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: one DJ Junior for the whole strip club going Tuesday bedroom,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: you'll have glitter. Get ready in five minutes he'll be
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: coming to call it. We have this is gray right
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: here because the private rooms called Shirley. You know what though,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: bottom line, I don't like her husband. I think he
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: should get his family out of there, save up enough money. Yeah,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: but of course she's gonna stay. Those are her parents.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: But seems like he, as her husband, will want to
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: take his family away. No, I don't like that either.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: All right, guys, thank you? I think poster comments on

- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Come on now? And the NBA is a lot going
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: on in the NBA right now. The Western Conference Semifinals
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: is going on right now. You got the Rockets version
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Lakers that series right now, it's taded one one. We
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: really need the Rockets to come on. I mean, I
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: don't know what happened the other day, but yeah, I
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: know Lebron happened. But come on, we'll get that much
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: credit to Lebron. We are are we Rockets fans? Are
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: we Laker fans? Timing? Come on? I'm a Rocking fan.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: But I know what happened. I saw what happened too.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I saw Lebron what That's what happened. Then you got
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: the Clippers and the Nuggets. That's a great series too.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: How's that going? I mean, you know what, man, I'm
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: gonna tell you right now. Man, um, the Clippers are
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: not a weak team, and no neither is the Nuggets
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: joke anymore? No, big No, Yeah they're not. That's very true.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: But they got Doc Rivers as the head coach. Absolutely,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: But we were in LA when they when they sucked.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: Yeah they're not. They're not the laughing stock no more.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: No the olds on the cars. But Jay in the
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Eastern Conference sent finals, you got look at this, man,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: you got Boston in Toronto. That was a great series.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: I mean, but you look at all this stuff. Man,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. It's just like who's playing the best
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: right now? Because let me tell you why they're so
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: good right now? Because nobody's in the stands. Ain't nobody
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: booing you see if you was live, ain't nobody booing you? Well?
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Home games don't mean nothing. Nothing, You don't mean nothing
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: to have the home court events. They just put your
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: They just put your logo on the floor. That's it,
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: does it? The virtual on the wall? Yes, the virtual
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: fans don't mean they don't they don't turn their volume
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: up loud. That's a great substitute. What else you go?
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Come on, I gotta tell you what else I got.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: I will say this because I'll be digging for stories.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: This is crazy. But I will say this though, I
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: want to say congratulations to my man, one of my
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: hometown favorites, Deshaun Watson, quarterback for the Houston Texans, got
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: his money, got his money. This boy got his money.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Thirty nine million a year. Boy, you didn't did something?

- 1:18:49Speaker 1: like it. All right, all right, we'll be back in
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour to close out the show.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening, all right? Here we are
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: our last break of the day on this Tuesday. Um. Wow,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: good show. Steve was out today of course tomorrow. Yeah,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: and Jason you're back. We just wanted to say congratulations
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: again on your show. Watched my man. Yeah, it has life.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: Thank you all the workers, Thank you, Thanks for people
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: who tuned in six million with House of Pain and
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: assisted Living. That thank the Wow. No, I have a
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: little serious problem. I don't know how to deal with it.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: What what's wrong? I'm working for a really rich, rich,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: rich person, but I'm also working for a billionaire. So
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: if my thing is should my attitude change, that's when
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: I'm asking it already has? I think it already has, didn't.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: I talk to you over the weekend, and yes we did.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: We did discuss that. Yeah, I think you hung up
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: on me without saying by and all that. I mean,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: thanks everybody who tuned in. And I'm not gonna change
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: it at all. It doesn't matter whoever. The show is
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: called Assistant Living, Yes, Assistant Living in the House of Pain.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: They did very well. Can I come up with a
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: little hate Shirley, Yeah, I don't know how my writing
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: partner left me out. I don't know. I don't know
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: how my writing partner left me. I don't understand how
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: you doing. And he happy we're promoting the show and
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: this is on Wednesday nights. I get it. But mister
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: Perry wrote the show. I'm just saying, you ain't got
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: no influence. You ain't got no influence. And I was
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: gonna say Jay before we get off the subject again.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: It's assisted living living. Tell us when we can see
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: it and where we can find it and all of that.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: It comes on Wednesday night, nine o'clock on b ET.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Some places don't show early because of the cable system
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: that you might have come. All comes on right after
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: House of Pain in Okay. It was a blast. It
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: was really flat to Benny Yes, yeah, Anthony Brown, and
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: to Tyler Perry too for just quality shows. Quality shows.
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: We thank you, Tyler. We do thank you t V.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Except for my friend and he's say, I got gratifying.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: That's all all right, It's time to get serious. We
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: got to talk about voting the guys, because I mean,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: you know, we gotta encourage people and uh to let
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: them know what is going on. I mean, time is
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: running out here. There are only fifty six days left
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: until election day. Election day, as we all know, it's
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: November third. So we want you to go to vote
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: dot org, vote dot org and get registered right now today.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: If you're not already registered, it only takes a couple
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: of minutes to fill out the information and uh. And
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: you can also find out where you can early vote
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: in your state. Anything you need to know, you can
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: find it on vote dot org vote dot org. But
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: the most important thing is to register to vote, and
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: we want to early vote. Early voting is early voting
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: is the key. If we can vote today. Yeah, we
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: want to vote as early as possible. Yes, And if
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: he don't cheat, he will be beat yeah yeah, yeah
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: yeah yeah. And we got to look out for him
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: cheating because, like that guy said, he will do anything, yeah,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: anything to make sure he stays in the West. Sam Power.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: I listened to him yesterday. Man, he went off on Biden.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: He went off one President Barack Obama. He just kept
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: going on and on and he is non stop. He's
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: not gonna and all of it's just lies. He just
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: be seeing whatever he wants to say, and he just
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: and weird part about it. Him going off doesn't help
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: our situation. He's just insulting people without helping the people
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: who really need help. Yeah, I mean, I mean he
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: doesn't have a plan. He doesn't have a plan. Yesterday
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: after the press conference conference a Labor Day press conference,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: did you see him when the reporter asked him a
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: question and he asked a reporter to remove his mass
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: and the reporter said no, rather not no, Yeah, I'll
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: speak louder, I'm not taking off my mask. How are
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: you leading by example? In the country right now with
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: the pandemic, and we have over one hundred and eighty
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: five thousand Americans who have lost their lives. And you
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: just refuse to be presidential. You're incapable of being presidential.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: We know that now. Shirley just said, fifty six days
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: left until the election. Let's get a president in office, right,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: and a vice president and a vice president. Yes, are
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: presidential and vice presidential leaders because this no, And let's
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: let's go there prepared for whatever's going to happen, because
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: people who voted long before us, they made the way,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: they made sacrifices for us so that we can vote.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: The police are gonna be there, armed guards are gonna
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: be there. You're gonna be stopped in line, they're gonna
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: harass you. But let's stay in that line and let's
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: cast out vote because he can be put out and
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: he knows that. He knows. Right. I agree with you,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: J plan like you would planned for anything else. This
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: is serious. I even I think I've said this on
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: the show before. This could be the election that's more
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: important than even electing Obama. Because yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: we've said that. Yeah, no, no, you can't do four
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: more minutes of him. Yeah, you gotta plan, you gotta
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: be prepared, you gotta have all your idea with you.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: I will say this that I'm really looking forward to
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: early voting. I'm looking forward to it. Oh good, Yes, yes,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: yes i am. I'm doing it. I'm too. Because all
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: we can do is our part. We only have one vote.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: Our vote is powerful. We need to use it and
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: we do our part. If everybody does their part, we'll count.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: We will matter at the polls. We will matter at
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: the polls. Didn't he say vote twice twice? That will
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: be loveless? All right? Thank you everyone for listening. We
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: love you so much. We appreciate. For all Steve Harvey contests,
