- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit look like the don
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like the million bucks things in it to
- 0:19Speaker 1: be true? Good Steve to mother, Please, I don't join
- 0:43Speaker 1: by joining you turn you you gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn you got to turn them out. Then
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water go. Come come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: bad uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on, dig me down, want
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man o,
- 2:12Speaker 1: man o, man, I just I have to tell you this.
- 2:21Speaker 1: How good is the God I served? How amazing is he?
- 2:27Speaker 1: That's that's all, you know. And you know, really, man,
- 2:30Speaker 1: when I try to explain um, how I feel about
- 2:35Speaker 1: what he does for me, really, the words that I
- 2:37Speaker 1: come up with that they just they inadequate. Man, They don't.
- 2:41Speaker 1: They don't cut it. They really don't. You know. I
- 2:43Speaker 1: could say amazing. At one time. I even just got that.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I tried something real ignorant. One time, I just said,
- 2:49Speaker 1: you know, God is just super casual, fragilistic as be alladocious.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I just tried that to see how that felt. That's
- 2:55Speaker 1: that's all the change he is with me. I just
- 2:57Speaker 1: try to because see how that felt. But then I
- 3:00Speaker 1: ain't feel right saying that, the fact that he's amazing
- 3:03Speaker 1: and awesome and he's an awesome God. You hear people
- 3:06Speaker 1: say that as it's bigger than that too, man. So
- 3:10Speaker 1: you know, as as hard as I try, no matter
- 3:13Speaker 1: what I do every day, I'm gonna come up short
- 3:15Speaker 1: with trying to explain to you exactly how he works
- 3:18Speaker 1: and how he is for me. So I just thank
- 3:20Speaker 1: him every day every chance I get here. It is
- 3:26Speaker 1: it is your determination and your effort. Listen to me carefully.
- 3:34Speaker 1: It is your determination and your effort. I think that
- 3:40Speaker 1: the average person, and I'm not knocking you, I just
- 3:43Speaker 1: want you to hear me out. I think what stops
- 3:45Speaker 1: the average person from becoming successful is that we don't
- 3:50Speaker 1: realize the effort that it takes. And that's just truth.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I found that to be so true in my life
- 3:58Speaker 1: and my talking to people, in meeting people, and people
- 4:01Speaker 1: aren't asking me questions about it and me trying to
- 4:04Speaker 1: figure out the way myself. I don't think that you
- 4:09Speaker 1: really can comprehend the effort that it takes to become successful.
- 4:15Speaker 1: This is the thing that you have to wrap your
- 4:17Speaker 1: mind around very quickly if you want to be successful
- 4:21Speaker 1: on any level in any area. The dream is the beginning.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Good Lord, let me tell you something. The determination and
- 4:29Speaker 1: effort is massive. You cannot be overly concerned with sleep.
- 4:37Speaker 1: If you are a person who is always concerned about sleep,
- 4:42Speaker 1: get success out your mind. A fit to happen partner
- 4:45Speaker 1: is not fit to happen. You cannot be that concerned
- 4:49Speaker 1: about sleep. Now listen to me. You have to get
- 4:52Speaker 1: your rest. But this was my philosophy. I'm just sharing
- 4:57Speaker 1: you with what how I did it. My philosophy was
- 5:02Speaker 1: I stopped being concerned about sleep. I got my rest,
- 5:07Speaker 1: but I got just enough to get back to it,
- 5:12Speaker 1: and I got back on the grind to hop into hustle.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I got just enough rest so I could go and
- 5:20Speaker 1: put forth some more effort. But listen to me. You
- 5:24Speaker 1: cannot sleep a third of your life away and expect
- 5:28Speaker 1: to become successful if you're not already successful. If you
- 5:31Speaker 1: are asleep for eight hours, that is a third of
- 5:34Speaker 1: your day. You cannot be asleep a third of your
- 5:38Speaker 1: life and expect to get successful. Not after you get successful.
- 5:43Speaker 1: You know, you learn as you go to work smarter,
- 5:47Speaker 1: not harder, so as you get successful, you may have
- 5:51Speaker 1: eight hours available to you. But on the way up there,
- 5:54Speaker 1: I don't see how you can do it, I promise you.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I don't. Now I don't. Maybe somebody can't come forward.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I did it? I yeah, probably lying. But okay, tell
- 6:02Speaker 1: your story, because everybody I know that's successful that I've
- 6:07Speaker 1: sat down ahead real talks with it wasn't concerned with sleeping.
- 6:13Speaker 1: You cannot be concerned with sleeping if you want to
- 6:16Speaker 1: be successful. How how can this happen for you? Listen
- 6:21Speaker 1: to me. The effort that it requires is massive. It's
- 6:24Speaker 1: an all out of salt on your dream. Now you
- 6:27Speaker 1: got to make an assault. It's requires and all out
- 6:31Speaker 1: of salt on it. And you can't be sleeping. Fight
- 6:33Speaker 1: at the same time. You can't fight when you sleep. Man.
- 6:37Speaker 1: I wish I could get y'all understand this right here.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Understand that the effort that is required to be successful
- 6:44Speaker 1: will take everything you have, and when you think you've
- 6:47Speaker 1: given your all, it's gonna require some more. The quality
- 6:53Speaker 1: of your chill is amazing. See that's okay, listening. What
- 6:58Speaker 1: is sitting around having a bill every day fault. What what?
- 7:02Speaker 1: But I'm sitting around smoking weed for every day? Fault?
- 7:05Speaker 1: Come on, man, for real, But if you took that beer,
- 7:10Speaker 1: drinking weed smoking chill time and apply it to progressing
- 7:14Speaker 1: yourself towards your dream. When you do carve out a vacation,
- 7:19Speaker 1: guess where you be able to go. Guess what part
- 7:22Speaker 1: of the world you can go see? Guess how you
- 7:24Speaker 1: can you Now I'm instead of you just driving every
- 7:27Speaker 1: year your family to the family union, sit at the
- 7:30Speaker 1: same picnic table. Everybody pull their money in to ten families.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Don't never pull they money in. They down there eating
- 7:37Speaker 1: like y'all eating. You got attitude because the day or
- 7:40Speaker 1: they side don't ever chip in, and no they down
- 7:42Speaker 1: they eating the extra potatoes that making places. You're not
- 7:45Speaker 1: not harguing about this every year for real? Man, they
- 7:48Speaker 1: ain't got the T shirt money. You know they got
- 7:51Speaker 1: to say a T shirt, don't. They ain't put in that, really, man,
- 7:54Speaker 1: so so so so so you want that to be
- 7:57Speaker 1: it every year? Or do you want this shiel I'm
- 8:01Speaker 1: taking my family to New Orleans, or I'm taking my
- 8:04Speaker 1: family see the Grand Canyon. I'm taking my family down
- 8:07Speaker 1: to the beach this year and me and my family
- 8:10Speaker 1: gonna go sight See, we're gonna go ride couple the
- 8:12Speaker 1: river on Chicago. Me and my family gonna go skiing
- 8:15Speaker 1: this year, and me and my family going out to
- 8:17Speaker 1: La Man, we're gonna're gonna go out there for the weekend.
- 8:20Speaker 1: You know, you know it can happen like that. But
- 8:22Speaker 1: if you ain't working, listen to me. Average effort gets
- 8:31Speaker 1: average results. That's that's all it is to it. See,
- 8:38Speaker 1: ordinary effort gets ordinary results. But if you put forth
- 8:45Speaker 1: an extra effort. See, the only difference between extraordinary and
- 8:50Speaker 1: ordinary is one word, that's extra. If you do extra,
- 8:54Speaker 1: you can take ordinary right on over to extraordinary. Do
- 8:58Speaker 1: you understand you have to have a massive assault on
- 9:01Speaker 1: your dreams? Quit sitting up in here, man, trying to
- 9:04Speaker 1: chill all the time. I'm sorry, man, I wish I
- 9:07Speaker 1: could tell you another way, but it ain't one. Here's
- 9:10Speaker 1: what I did. I wasn't concerned about how much sleep
- 9:13Speaker 1: I got. I just had to get my rest. And
- 9:17Speaker 1: once I got enough rest to get up and get
- 9:19Speaker 1: the task done, I got up. Somebody sent me a
- 9:24Speaker 1: tweet the other day, a partner of mine. He's someone
- 9:30Speaker 1: to see if I can pull it up while I'm
- 9:31Speaker 1: talking to you. But he just sent me a little sign.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Just wasn't nothing, just a little something to say. Hey man,
- 9:37Speaker 1: I ran across this, I thought about you, and I
- 9:39Speaker 1: sent it to you. It said, no alarm clock needed,
- 9:43Speaker 1: My passion wakes me. It's in blockprint. He said, no
- 9:50Speaker 1: alarm clock needed, My passion wakes me. That's what you
- 9:56Speaker 1: got to be about, morning show, ladies and gentlemen. He
- 10:05Speaker 1: is again. I can't believe it. How good is God again?
- 10:10Speaker 1: You mean you're talking about we was here yesterday and
- 10:15Speaker 1: we here again. Man, Thank you. I was up early
- 10:20Speaker 1: this morning doing my meditation, and I just spent a
- 10:23Speaker 1: lot of time thinking. I was reading some couple of
- 10:25Speaker 1: scriptures and everything. You know, I don't read scriptures every morning.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I don't want y'all think i'm front and to flex it.
- 10:30Speaker 1: But I do try to meditate every morning and pray.
- 10:33Speaker 1: That's for show. But this morning, man, I just feel good, man,
- 10:36Speaker 1: just feel good like I do most morning. I just say,
- 10:39Speaker 1: And even if you get up on the wrong side
- 10:41Speaker 1: of the bed that ain't quite yourself. Once you start
- 10:44Speaker 1: being grateful, it has an effect. Man. I don't know
- 10:47Speaker 1: what that is, but it just makes you feel better
- 10:50Speaker 1: if you just tried, y'all, just wake up and be grateful.
- 10:54Speaker 1: It changes everything your perspective. So once again, thank you,
- 10:59Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Getting rolling Sherley Strawberry calling for real
- 11:03Speaker 1: Junior kills face Mouth or the South Mississippi Monica, the
- 11:07Speaker 1: legend that is the a few times, leaders and gentlemen,
- 11:11Speaker 1: your boy Steve Harvey is asking Junior what's on your mind?
- 11:16Speaker 1: You ain't got nothing to do you? Yeah, no, I
- 11:18Speaker 1: got something, but I'm just scared to say it because
- 11:20Speaker 1: I'm probably not gonna like to respond. But I'm gonna
- 11:23Speaker 1: go ahead. We'll fund Okay, Okay, you know, all right,
- 11:26Speaker 1: I thought this is what I'm gonna do. I'm promise
- 11:28Speaker 1: you this before I say, I'm gonna whatever you ask me, Julia,
- 11:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna try to remember that I read scriptures and
- 11:35Speaker 1: meditating morning because you say, okay, go ahead. You said
- 11:39Speaker 1: I was thinking, and that's the problem right there. Her.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Come do women look around? Do they look around? Because
- 11:46Speaker 1: you know I did? You say when when women look around?
- 11:49Speaker 1: I say, do they look around? Because you know I
- 11:51Speaker 1: was told of the day. You know, I think you
- 11:54Speaker 1: know you need to you are to you should you this,
- 12:00Speaker 1: you that, but I can't say nothing about what I think.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Oh no, oh you want to go, Oh you want
- 12:08Speaker 1: to go tit for tat. So you think that you
- 12:13Speaker 1: can be in a relationship with a woman and she
- 12:16Speaker 1: can tell you who's on her mind, but you wants
- 12:19Speaker 1: to write after she gets through telling you that you
- 12:22Speaker 1: wants to retaliate by telling her who's on your mind. Yeah,
- 12:29Speaker 1: don't do that, junior, don't do that. Don't do that.
- 12:33Speaker 1: That's not gonna work out for you because she when
- 12:37Speaker 1: a woman is trying to tell you something, you know,
- 12:41Speaker 1: it's so many levels to this. I don't just take
- 12:46Speaker 1: it on the chin. Don't retaliate. Well, let me tell
- 12:49Speaker 1: you something about you, because once she discovers, you're gonna
- 12:54Speaker 1: hear something like this, Oh, this is what we're doing.
- 12:58Speaker 1: And then the next volley that comes back towards you
- 13:04Speaker 1: will have more owning than the first one. So you
- 13:08Speaker 1: just should have just turn that first one when old
- 13:11Speaker 1: dab winning accepted it as constructive criticism, because all of
- 13:16Speaker 1: them after that is just gonna be destructive criticism. Take
- 13:23Speaker 1: the constructive criticism and going about your business for you
- 13:26Speaker 1: mess around and turn it into destructive criticism. Yeah, yeah,
- 13:34Speaker 1: all right, thank you. I hope you learned something there, Junior.
- 13:38Speaker 1: All right, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:41Speaker 1: the nephew will be here to run that brank back
- 13:44Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:48Speaker 1: It is time now to run that brank back with
- 13:50Speaker 1: the nephew. What you gotta, I got that tel truck
- 13:55Speaker 1: driver got dog. If you would, they just blew out
- 14:00Speaker 1: the whole electrical system in the old Hello. Hello, I'm trying.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I'm trying. I'm trying to find Candy. Who is this
- 14:08Speaker 1: skinny man? Okay? You are you the guy with the
- 14:10Speaker 1: told truck? You're you're the Told truck drivers trucking. Okay, hey, man,
- 14:15Speaker 1: you jump started my girl's car three days ago and
- 14:18Speaker 1: blew the old electrical system out. Man, I did hold on,
- 14:22Speaker 1: hold on, let me get back to my truck. You said,
- 14:24Speaker 1: I did what man, you do jump people's vehicles when
- 14:27Speaker 1: they when they got to stall vehicle, don't you right?
- 14:30Speaker 1: That's what I do. I jumped vehicles. Yes, okay, so
- 14:33Speaker 1: you actually did my girl's car about three days ago. Man,
- 14:37Speaker 1: you just started her car. But now when you you
- 14:40Speaker 1: over jumped it. It's what you did, okay. You didn't
- 14:42Speaker 1: blow out the whole electrical system in the whold car,
- 14:45Speaker 1: the dad board, everything is just completely out. And they
- 14:48Speaker 1: talk like this's gonna be my fifteen hundred dollars to
- 14:50Speaker 1: get this thing. I'm sorry now, what was this? My
- 14:53Speaker 1: name Kim up Man? But you m ceila man, you
- 14:56Speaker 1: jump started, you over jumped hard car. Just wait, wait
- 15:00Speaker 1: a minute, Cannada. There's no such thing as over jumping
- 15:03Speaker 1: a car. You can't overjump a car, man, Man, let
- 15:06Speaker 1: me tell you a car now. I whoever told you that?
- 15:07Speaker 1: That's just now that's just gone. Hey, let me tell
- 15:10Speaker 1: you something. Man. You overjumped my girl's car. Okay, and
- 15:13Speaker 1: you blew out can't go up a car? What do
- 15:16Speaker 1: you mean you can? That's what you did, man. You
- 15:18Speaker 1: didn't blow out the entire electrical system, the entire dadgeboard.
- 15:21Speaker 1: It's completely dead. The people at the dealership saying it's
- 15:24Speaker 1: gonna take fifteen hundred dollars to get this thing backed
- 15:27Speaker 1: up and run it. Well, you may want to take
- 15:29Speaker 1: a coupwhere there because they're trying to rip you off.
- 15:30Speaker 1: There's no such there ain't no such things over jumping
- 15:34Speaker 1: a car and blowing and if she drove off that day,
- 15:37Speaker 1: then she should be fine. I've jumped plenty of cars.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I jumped cars all day long. People always need to
- 15:44Speaker 1: jump I know one. I've never overjumped system. Look, you
- 15:50Speaker 1: over jumped this car, okay, and that's the reason why
- 15:53Speaker 1: it's completely shut down. All the fuelses have blown out,
- 15:56Speaker 1: everything is completely dead. You over jumped the car. And
- 16:00Speaker 1: now it's the fifteen hundred dollars. And the reason why
- 16:02Speaker 1: I'm calling you is you should be the person paying
- 16:05Speaker 1: for this. No, no, hell, no, no, now that's sure
- 16:09Speaker 1: ain't gonna hap. I'm not gonna pay for something I
- 16:10Speaker 1: didn't do it. You did it. You don't one overjumped it, man,
- 16:14Speaker 1: You overjumped the car. I don't overjump cars. Now that
- 16:18Speaker 1: and now wait a minute, now, wait just one minute, man. Now,
- 16:21Speaker 1: I'm not gonna argue with you. I jump cars all
- 16:24Speaker 1: the time, and you mean to tell me I overjumped
- 16:28Speaker 1: your you ye're no, you know what you're gonna get you? Well,
- 16:33Speaker 1: if I don't get this fifteen hundred dollars, I'm sorry.
- 16:36Speaker 1: You said what You're gonna get your swoop. If I
- 16:39Speaker 1: don't get this fifteen hundred dollars to take care of
- 16:42Speaker 1: this whole car and the whole electrical system. Well, I
- 16:44Speaker 1: tell you what I'm over here on Martin Lucy King
- 16:47Speaker 1: right now. Name you're talking about swooping somebody? You bring
- 16:50Speaker 1: tone over here? Now, I don't overjumped no cars, and
- 16:53Speaker 1: I don't hold you know money? Is you only fifteen
- 16:56Speaker 1: hundred dollars you cut your son of but you only
- 16:58Speaker 1: hold you. Let me tell you something. You'll be in
- 17:01Speaker 1: for a long day. I will take this toe truck
- 17:05Speaker 1: and ramen straight up your and I'm not playing with
- 17:08Speaker 1: you now. How don't I well, don't doctor people like this?
- 17:12Speaker 1: And I should have held don't appreciate it when someone
- 17:14Speaker 1: talks to me like that, whooping? You gotta let it.
- 17:18Speaker 1: You know what, You're gonna mess around and get your
- 17:20Speaker 1: little cold truck toddled off something. That's what I's gonna want?
- 17:24Speaker 1: What and you're gonna get you whoop in the mix
- 17:26Speaker 1: to all of this. Man, let me tell you something.
- 17:28Speaker 1: I need this fifteen hundred dollars today offs for tomorrow
- 17:32Speaker 1: so I can get my girl coffee. How don't hold you? Well?
- 17:35Speaker 1: Did I jump this car off at because that's exactly
- 17:38Speaker 1: where I meet you at you you drop my girl
- 17:40Speaker 1: call off at her job. She was downtown at her job.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Which street? Because I'm down there a lot. I don't
- 17:45Speaker 1: know what streeted, but she see where downtown, So that's
- 17:49Speaker 1: your problem. You're such a dumb she don't even know
- 17:52Speaker 1: what treat its on. And you know I don't owe
- 17:54Speaker 1: you fifteen hundred dollars. You are crazy, And he let
- 17:58Speaker 1: me know what I'm saying. Hunter, I'm gonna get fifteen
- 18:00Speaker 1: hundred out of you. Now. You're gonna make a decision
- 18:02Speaker 1: on which one you want to do. If you're gonna
- 18:04Speaker 1: bring me the fifteen hundreds today or tomorrow, how you'll whooped?
- 18:09Speaker 1: You got your five o'clock tomorrow, son, you ain't gotta
- 18:12Speaker 1: wait on tomorrow. I made my decision right now. I
- 18:15Speaker 1: ain't gonna happen. I ain't ever gonna happen. I don't
- 18:18Speaker 1: owe you, And if you can get it out of
- 18:20Speaker 1: my son, you can have it. But I met you
- 18:23Speaker 1: this much. You bet it back lunch. It's gonna be
- 18:25Speaker 1: a lone mind for you, buddy. I don't care how
- 18:28Speaker 1: long it's gonna be. You're gonna get a fifteen hundred dollars. Woman,
- 18:32Speaker 1: that's what you're gonna get, Candy or candy man. You're
- 18:35Speaker 1: gonna play. You're gonna play the fifteen hundred dollars. You
- 18:38Speaker 1: call me what you want to call me, Sun, but
- 18:39Speaker 1: I tell you that half you'll call me something else,

- 18:59Speaker 1: find me, understand me. So if you really want that
- 19:02Speaker 1: fifteen hundred dollars, son, you come and get it. But
- 19:04Speaker 1: I ain't got trying to be sitting here harding with
- 19:06Speaker 1: you all today. I got work to do. I gotta

- 21:09Speaker 1: word yet on the Oscar slap and Michelle Obama, our
- 21:13Speaker 1: beloved First Lady's brother has suited a private school alleging
- 21:18Speaker 1: racial bias. We'll talk about that and all these stories

- 21:40Speaker 1: use my money for myself, but they are always begging.
- 21:44Speaker 1: I've been thinking of redoing my will because I think
- 21:47Speaker 1: they're only nice to me for my money. Would I
- 21:49Speaker 1: be wrong to shock them like that? No, you gotta
- 21:54Speaker 1: get this pat your day. Stop giving your money away
- 21:56Speaker 1: to your grown grandchild. You're a labeling. You spent your
- 22:00Speaker 1: whole life to getting this position where you can retire.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Go sit down on your back deck and all this
- 22:05Speaker 1: hill ain't got a little poe ass. People up Brown,

- 22:27Speaker 1: call like you all that money he left to his cat.
- 22:33Speaker 1: You know, just when you do that, because if you

- 22:53Speaker 1: eight year old single woman and I'm with the married
- 22:56Speaker 1: man that doesn't want me to date other men. I'm
- 22:59Speaker 1: all for kicking it on the weekends, but I'm trying
- 23:02Speaker 1: to meet my husband and have a family. This man says,
- 23:05Speaker 1: my cookie is all his and he will give me
- 23:07Speaker 1: a baby if I want one. So then why won't
- 23:10Speaker 1: he just get a divorce? Lady? No, no, lady, you stupid. Yeah,
- 23:15Speaker 1: you're the stupid one here. You you you're with a
- 23:20Speaker 1: married man. You don't you don't see no wrong in that?
- 23:24Speaker 1: Then the married man is giving you all tomatums, restrictions
- 23:29Speaker 1: and requirements. When he can't give you nothing you would
- 23:34Speaker 1: a married man just telling you you can't see nobody
- 23:37Speaker 1: else and you're listening to it. But then you stupid
- 23:41Speaker 1: enough to think you trying to find your husband. How
- 23:44Speaker 1: many times have I said this? You will never meet
- 23:49Speaker 1: mister Wright while you dating mister Wrong. It don't work
- 23:54Speaker 1: that way, you can you will never meet mister Wright.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Why you're dating mister wrong. Ain't nowhere from mister Wright
- 24:03Speaker 1: to fit in that. You can't meet your husband if
- 24:06Speaker 1: you're sleeping with somebody else's husband. That's what? What is
- 24:10Speaker 1: this part about this that you're not understanding? Damn, lady,
- 24:15Speaker 1: how does he kind of like giving her a baby? Though?
- 24:17Speaker 1: How about that's not true? He a fool. He's a
- 24:21Speaker 1: fool for saying that. Man. Lady, lady, it it don't
- 24:29Speaker 1: make no sense for you don't even be listening to him. Right. Well,
- 24:33Speaker 1: she bought this though, and put it in a letter. Sister, sister,
- 24:41Speaker 1: listen to me. You gotta stop dating the married man
- 24:45Speaker 1: if you want a family, because you're dating somebody who
- 24:49Speaker 1: has a family. You just gotta you just gotta move on.
- 24:55Speaker 1: You're right, You know what I mean, you're not. Oh,
- 25:01Speaker 1: let's let's move on to Sue in Colombia. Sue write to,
- 25:04Speaker 1: my brother popped up at my house last night and
- 25:06Speaker 1: jumped on my boyfriend and used to be best friend.
- 25:10Speaker 1: And my brother doesn't want us dating because he said
- 25:13Speaker 1: his friend is a womanizer at our age. That doesn't
- 25:16Speaker 1: matter to me. My boyfriend is wanting revenge. Now, how
- 25:20Speaker 1: do I get these two old fools to chill out? Well?
- 25:23Speaker 1: How old are y'all? Yeah, she didn't say Sue though,
- 25:28Speaker 1: Sue Sue she was born before nineteen seven. Yes, Sue,
- 25:36Speaker 1: Sue is a pre set me name. So you all
- 25:41Speaker 1: are old. And your brother then jumped on him because
- 25:45Speaker 1: he all womanized. Now, your brother's right, he is a womanize.
- 25:50Speaker 1: You said at this age, it don't make you no difference. Yeah,
- 25:54Speaker 1: she didn't matter, So I don't know why your brother
- 25:57Speaker 1: trying to protect your standards when you obviously they ain't
- 26:00Speaker 1: gotten it. So I don't know what all this is about.
- 26:05Speaker 1: And now your boyfriend won't revenge. Now, if they remain
- 26:10Speaker 1: true to the old school cold and they're gonna just
- 26:14Speaker 1: throw these hands, then let them go ahead and throw
- 26:17Speaker 1: these hands. If they were young, and they won't revenge
- 26:21Speaker 1: somebody fitting to go to prison. I would revere you
- 26:25Speaker 1: talking to your brother and just saying, hey, look I
- 26:29Speaker 1: do what I want to do. I know he liked this,
- 26:30Speaker 1: but this is what I want. And then go to
- 26:33Speaker 1: your man who ain't worth for damn and a womanizing
- 26:36Speaker 1: say look, I ain't the only one you got, so
- 26:38Speaker 1: please don't fight for me. You just need to have
- 26:46Speaker 1: two ignorant ass conversations about your getting the ass decisions
- 26:51Speaker 1: and go head on from yeah, oh yeah, what a
- 26:57Speaker 1: good brother Hill, because he know they've been friend they've
- 27:00Speaker 1: been running women together. He knows that's true. He was
- 27:05Speaker 1: about his sister. Yeah, all right, last one Montresa and Idaho. Right.
- 27:13Speaker 1: I'm a thirty six year old black woman married to
- 27:15Speaker 1: a fifty six year old white man. We met online
- 27:18Speaker 1: and things were fine until we got married. He lets
- 27:22Speaker 1: me wear the pants in him in the marriage, and
- 27:24Speaker 1: I don't like that. He doesn't like making decisions, and
- 27:28Speaker 1: he even lets me dress him. I hate all of that.
- 27:33Speaker 1: How do I get him to man up a little?
- 27:36Speaker 1: I can't help. First of all, let me just say
- 27:38Speaker 1: this before I try to attempt to answer this question.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I've never been a white man. I don't really have
- 27:45Speaker 1: no experience expertise at it that. Now, with that said,
- 27:50Speaker 1: I will say from a lot of white men, I
- 27:53Speaker 1: know that they don't normally fit into that moment. Okay,
- 27:58Speaker 1: and then regretfully, I'll must inform you that there are
- 28:01Speaker 1: some black men that fit into that mode. So this
- 28:07Speaker 1: really I can speak on that. Right there, you've married
- 28:12Speaker 1: the wrong one black hawk white, which seems to me
- 28:18Speaker 1: he don't want to make no decision. Yeah I don't. Yeah,
- 28:21Speaker 1: I don't care if you were married whim blew men
- 28:24Speaker 1: from out of in Vegas if here, yeah, if if
- 28:29Speaker 1: he don't want to wear the pants and he don't
- 28:31Speaker 1: want to make decisions and he letting you dress help
- 28:35Speaker 1: you know, first of all you let's does this start
- 28:37Speaker 1: with the real simple one. You're not dressing, Steve Barker.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Let's just get that clear. And you're not dressing. Yeah,
- 28:45Speaker 1: you can ask the stylist. I got the problem, his
- 28:48Speaker 1: ass got Mardreid don't dress me at all? Now can
- 28:56Speaker 1: she say I don't like that? Yes, she can't when
- 28:59Speaker 1: I go in there to take it off? Yes, how okay,
- 29:03Speaker 1: all right, thank you, cielo, But you ain't laying my
- 29:06Speaker 1: clothes out. You're coming up. At the top of the hour,

- 29:52Speaker 1: Robin China because of a personal vendetta against her. The
- 29:56Speaker 1: Kardashians deny the claim, blaming the low ratings and that's it. Rob, however,
- 30:03Speaker 1: wasn't in court. According to tim Z, the jurors were
- 30:06Speaker 1: asked if they had ever seen the Kardashian shows, and
- 30:09Speaker 1: one potential juror said, well, I've seen the Kardashian sex tape.

- 31:42Speaker 1: whatever her name is thread. Well are they from China?
- 31:50Speaker 1: Where is they from? No, they're not um And. Another

- 32:15Speaker 1: No word yet if Will Smith and the acknowledgment of
- 32:18Speaker 1: the Oscar slap that was heard around the world will
- 32:21Speaker 1: be discussed, because initially we heard they were going to
- 32:25Speaker 1: do it, discuss it on Red Table Talk, but apparently, Um,
- 32:28Speaker 1: that hasn't come up yet. Will I'm tired of talking
- 32:32Speaker 1: about it. Will. If you go on a Red Table Talk, dog,
- 32:35Speaker 1: you're going you a lot of brothers. Man, I'm just
- 32:38Speaker 1: gonna tell you you can't go back on now. Man.
- 32:41Speaker 1: That's what called all this first place. Yeah, you can't.
- 32:44Speaker 1: You can't. Y'all need y'all need to burn that table. Yeah,
- 32:50Speaker 1: it got a nurse. We're gonna get your damn table

- 33:05Speaker 1: Table will be out on the tree. Law done with?
- 33:12Speaker 1: All right finally. In trending news, Michelle Obama's brother Craig
- 33:16Speaker 1: Robinson and his wife Kelly, appeared on Good Morning America.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Robinson's told Robin Roberts that they are sewing the University
- 33:23Speaker 1: School of Milwaukee private school after the school expelled their
- 33:27Speaker 1: two young sons, ages eleven and nine. In twenty twenty one,
- 33:32Speaker 1: the Robinsons communicated directly with USM faculty and staff about
- 33:36Speaker 1: the inclusion of language in various worksheets, and projects that
- 33:40Speaker 1: was offensive to people of color, people with disabilities, Indigenous Americans,
- 33:45Speaker 1: and other underrepresented students underrepresented students. The Robinsons are calling
- 33:51Speaker 1: for USM to take several steps. First, diversify the school's
- 33:55Speaker 1: school board, administration, and faculty, conduct racial sensitivity training for
- 34:00Speaker 1: staff and students. So that's what they want out of this.
- 34:05Speaker 1: It's hard, man, you know, because you know, I mean,
- 34:09Speaker 1: you move out of these of fluent neighborhoods because you've
- 34:12Speaker 1: earned money and you can live wherever you want to live,
- 34:15Speaker 1: and then your children have to go to school and
- 34:18Speaker 1: you still, no matter what, have to deal with racism
- 34:21Speaker 1: on every single level. And you and you don't know,
- 34:26Speaker 1: I mean, look twenty twenty one, you know you could
- 34:28Speaker 1: have had a problem, you know, you know, you know
- 34:32Speaker 1: the director to school could be a Trump fan. Realizing
- 34:36Speaker 1: that you Obamas relative. You know, you could, you could
- 34:40Speaker 1: get it from all kinds of angles, man, But the
- 34:43Speaker 1: fact that you still got to deal with this in
- 34:48Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. Yeah, this just tells you where we
- 34:52Speaker 1: are as a country man. I mean, I love to
- 34:54Speaker 1: say we're doing better, but but we not. We not.
- 34:58Speaker 1: We've taken so many steps backwards. Man. It's just just
- 35:03Speaker 1: it's it's it's sad. Yeah. And if it's happening to him,
- 35:10Speaker 1: oh who, I can't tell you the cases of the
- 35:16Speaker 1: less affluent and less famous that this is right. And
- 35:21Speaker 1: you know, the school is high, they're paying for their
- 35:23Speaker 1: education and they still have to deal with all of this. Yeah,
- 35:28Speaker 1: and they expel the kids, so they're taking that out.
- 35:31Speaker 1: That is the issues that they have, right, because I'm
- 35:34Speaker 1: a sens out on the children. You're right about you're
- 35:38Speaker 1: right about the neighborhoods. And you move out, you don't
- 35:40Speaker 1: know who you're moving next. I got something for you though.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Off Coming up in about twenty minutes after the hour,
- 35:51Speaker 1: DJ Envy will be a very special guest. He's going
- 35:54Speaker 1: to tell us all about his brand new book, Real Life,
- 35:56Speaker 1: Real Love. Right after that, you're listening Steve Show, Hey, everybody.
- 36:03Speaker 1: As promise, we got a very very special guest this morning.
- 36:06Speaker 1: He's an infamous DJ, producer, radio personality, husband and a father.
- 36:13Speaker 1: He's co host of Our Hearts, The Breakfast Club, and
- 36:16Speaker 1: he and his wife Jill uh that brand new authors.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Now they got a new book out. It's called Real Love,
- 36:22Speaker 1: Real Life, and it's a god book for everybody and
- 36:26Speaker 1: anybody who's seeking unconditional love and their relationships. And so
- 36:29Speaker 1: we invited him to join us for the first time
- 36:32Speaker 1: on the Steve Harvey Morning Show to talk about real life,
- 36:34Speaker 1: real love. Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together
- 36:38Speaker 1: for the man. Rashawn DJ n V Casey, Come morning, guys.
- 36:48Speaker 1: What's up man, how you doing? Welcome to this show,
- 36:50Speaker 1: doing well, man, Thank you so much for having me again.
- 36:53Speaker 1: So this could be the kickoff because this is the
- 36:57Speaker 1: first time we've had a member from the Breakfast Love
- 37:00Speaker 1: on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Because we have morning shows,
- 37:04Speaker 1: but they're not in competition. And I've never looked at
- 37:08Speaker 1: it that way. I don't do competition. I just do
- 37:10Speaker 1: me and let you do you. So he's on the
- 37:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. So we're and we're both with
- 37:16Speaker 1: our hearts. So it's opening the door for me to
- 37:19Speaker 1: make an appearance on the Breakfast Club. I'm just going
- 37:22Speaker 1: to throw that out. We've been inviting you, come on up.
- 37:25Speaker 1: We've been man, but I've been scared because they scare
- 37:28Speaker 1: me that our heartest. It's gonna be a damn problem anyway. Man,
- 37:32Speaker 1: we aren't here to talk about that. Hey man, let's
- 37:34Speaker 1: talk about this, man, because this is really interesting. You
- 37:37Speaker 1: and your wife Gil you met in high school. You've
- 37:39Speaker 1: been together for twenty seven years, married for twenty years.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Your relationship has a vibe through your growing celebrity, a devastating,
- 37:46Speaker 1: very public cheating scan. This ain't me, This ain't what
- 37:50Speaker 1: I do. So it's okay and six children, So tell
- 37:55Speaker 1: us about the real life, real love. What what's going
- 37:58Speaker 1: on here? Man? Yeah, me and my wife you've been
- 38:01Speaker 1: together twenty seven years, been married twenty one years, and
- 38:04Speaker 1: we wrote this book as a as a guy, right,
- 38:06Speaker 1: and so many times we go through so much in
- 38:09Speaker 1: our relationship and we don't know who to talk to,
- 38:11Speaker 1: Like we could go to the ballber shop. We talk
- 38:12Speaker 1: about our favorite basketball player, we talk about the kicks
- 38:15Speaker 1: that's coming out, but we don't have an opportunity to
- 38:17Speaker 1: talk about our relationships and what's wrong and what's right
- 38:19Speaker 1: and the fact that we need help. You know, I've
- 38:21Speaker 1: been through insecurities, cheating and you name it, even thinking
- 38:26Speaker 1: about committing suicide to you know, having six kids and
- 38:30Speaker 1: raising six kids. So we've been through the ups and downs.
- 38:32Speaker 1: So we try to put it out there and be
- 38:35Speaker 1: as open as possible so people can understand. Like, you know,
- 38:38Speaker 1: we go through things, you can talk about it. Sometimes
- 38:40Speaker 1: you look at social media you see nothing but perfect relationships,
- 38:43Speaker 1: and Steve, you know, there's nothing perfect like we got.
- 38:45Speaker 1: We gotta fight to keep those marriages together and fight
- 38:48Speaker 1: to be to make things right. So and that's what
- 38:50Speaker 1: this book is about. Wow, hey man, listen, hang on
- 38:53Speaker 1: right here. We got special guests DJ Envy this morning
- 38:56Speaker 1: from the Breakfast Club, and we're talking about this new
- 38:59Speaker 1: book when we come back. We're gonna get into it
- 39:01Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, all right, everybody, we're back,
- 39:07Speaker 1: and our special guests this morning is a DJ Envy.
- 39:10Speaker 1: You all know him from the famous morning show to
- 39:13Speaker 1: Breakfast Club. He and his wife Gia, they got him
- 39:20Speaker 1: book out man, and what he's telling us about the
- 39:23Speaker 1: book is like straight five because it's so open and real.
- 39:26Speaker 1: The name of the book is called Real Life, Real Love,
- 39:29Speaker 1: and so I guess this morning is DJ envy. Now, look, man,
- 39:32Speaker 1: you're talking about this book and you're being very open
- 39:35Speaker 1: about it. So when a person reads this book, what
- 39:38Speaker 1: are you hoping to takeaway is for them? I'm hoping
- 39:41Speaker 1: that it has start a conversation in different relationships, for
- 39:44Speaker 1: people in relationships, with people trying to find somebody in
- 39:46Speaker 1: a relationship. Because we opened up Pandora's box and talk
- 39:49Speaker 1: about everything, right, I wanted. Some of the toughest things
- 39:52Speaker 1: in the book was, you know, I was with my
- 39:54Speaker 1: wife from seventeen and sixteen. She was fifteen, and when
- 39:57Speaker 1: we first started to have sex, he was faking for
- 40:01Speaker 1: like nine years, and I thought, I'm putting it down.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I'm thinking I'm doing my thing. But she had we
- 40:06Speaker 1: had to have that conversation. She was like, no, you know,
- 40:08Speaker 1: I was faking and I had to She had to
- 40:10Speaker 1: have a conversation about me. Yes. So that's some of
- 40:18Speaker 1: the things that we talk about in the book. Stephen,
- 40:23Speaker 1: that just sold a bunch of copies. You know, how
- 40:27Speaker 1: many women are gonna get this book on you need
- 40:29Speaker 1: to read this, Herbert. Yeah, that's really interesting. Hey, now
- 40:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna I tell you what I find compelling, man,
- 40:36Speaker 1: because as a celebrity, I know how hard it is man,
- 40:42Speaker 1: this this role called man because you're under microscope all
- 40:45Speaker 1: the time. But you all have managed. You got six kids, man,
- 40:50Speaker 1: I didn't know that until just now twenty eighteen eight seven,
- 40:55Speaker 1: five in a four month old. We got six of them, Mom,
- 40:58Speaker 1: main a nobody, nobody. Yeah, you're the faking stop man.
- 41:10Speaker 1: I take it that. There's a lot of family dynamics
- 41:13Speaker 1: in the book. Man. Why was it important for you
- 41:15Speaker 1: to include that in the book? Um? Because we also
- 41:18Speaker 1: wanted to talk about how we raise our kids and
- 41:20Speaker 1: how we do it and how strong faith is in
- 41:24Speaker 1: our family and our relationship. So, like I said, it's difficult.
- 41:27Speaker 1: You know, you have kids. I got a twenty year
- 41:28Speaker 1: old girl that goes to NYU and you try to
- 41:31Speaker 1: guide her and be her best friend to make sure
- 41:33Speaker 1: she doesn't run into a guy like me, and try
- 41:35Speaker 1: to how to you know, come against those obstacles. But
- 41:38Speaker 1: it's the truth. And then I got an eighteen year
- 41:40Speaker 1: old that you want to be a man, you want
- 41:41Speaker 1: to teach them the proper things to do and have
- 41:43Speaker 1: respect and have manners because a lot of times I
- 41:45Speaker 1: think there's no father in a lot of these kids lives,
- 41:47Speaker 1: and these kids are running crazy and rampant, and we
- 41:49Speaker 1: just wanted to, you know, teach people. You know, you
- 41:51Speaker 1: gotta be there for your kids, because your kids are
- 41:53Speaker 1: representation of you. When they leave that house, that is
- 41:55Speaker 1: a representation of you, and they got to make sure
- 41:57Speaker 1: that they represent you the right way. You know what, man,
- 42:00Speaker 1: you said something interesting about having the daughter at NYU
- 42:04Speaker 1: and you want to protect her from a guy like you.
- 42:08Speaker 1: You know, that's interesting because what people don't understands what
- 42:11Speaker 1: we're saying as far as is I may not have
- 42:14Speaker 1: always been who I am today because getting to be
- 42:18Speaker 1: a good man at the growth process. I think you
- 42:21Speaker 1: agree with that absolutely absolutely. You got you gotta evolve,
- 42:26Speaker 1: you gotta and it sometimes it takes a long time.
- 42:28Speaker 1: And like I said, I was insecure. I was as
- 42:30Speaker 1: a young child. I was five foot four, I had glasses, braces,
- 42:34Speaker 1: acne as. As my mom would say, I wasn't the
- 42:36Speaker 1: cats me out. Nobody was hollering at me. So I
- 42:39Speaker 1: grew into who I am today, and I'm proud of
- 42:42Speaker 1: it now, but back then, you know I wasn't and
- 42:44Speaker 1: I want to make sure I can guide her the
- 42:46Speaker 1: right way. Wow, hey, man, you know what, I'm really
- 42:50Speaker 1: proud of you, man for taking this step. Not that
- 42:52Speaker 1: you need my pride, but I mean, you know, I
- 42:55Speaker 1: just love it when when cats man like yourself, step
- 42:58Speaker 1: out their comforts only do stuff. Man. But I gotta
- 43:02Speaker 1: tell you, man, congratulations because if you've been married for
- 43:05Speaker 1: twenty years, man, that's like a major major accomplishment in
- 43:10Speaker 1: any part of the world. Man. And I think you've
- 43:13Speaker 1: done a great job, man. And that's the book is
- 43:15Speaker 1: going to be exciting man for a lot of people.
- 43:17Speaker 1: So Steve Harvey Nation. The name of the book is

- 44:01Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after, it's my Strawberry
- 44:04Speaker 1: letter for today, and the subject is where do I
- 44:07Speaker 1: fit in with his friends? We'll get into that in
- 44:10Speaker 1: just a bit, but right now the nephew is here
- 44:13Speaker 1: with today's praying phone call. What you got for it?
- 44:15Speaker 1: S nap, little something, little some something. I think everybody
- 44:19Speaker 1: on this show probably has done it one time or another.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Growing up, Your son pede in the pool, your son
- 44:27Speaker 1: pee in the pool. You know what age were you
- 44:31Speaker 1: when you decided you're gonna get on up and get
- 44:34Speaker 1: out the pool, Go do what you gotta do and
- 44:35Speaker 1: come back. When did you at least get to that point,
- 44:38Speaker 1: because it wasn't at Aida Nae, because you sat there
- 44:40Speaker 1: and you just sat there and stood that. Yes, you
- 44:43Speaker 1: did that chlorine in it. That was right there before
- 44:47Speaker 1: I didn't got in the pool to pete. You didn't
- 44:53Speaker 1: feel like going to the bas Sitting there in that
- 44:56Speaker 1: lounge chair, went man, that bear flew way over there. Yeah,
- 45:03Speaker 1: stand around in this three foot for a minute. Oh god,
- 45:07Speaker 1: I can see if it was the ocean, but not
- 45:09Speaker 1: the pool man, not the pool brown saying that though
- 45:15Speaker 1: if you're an allounge chair you know he grown. I
- 45:20Speaker 1: wasn't little when I did that. Don't tell nobody else.
- 45:25Speaker 1: You shouldn't have said that. What dog? This is my pool?
- 45:33Speaker 1: What y'all talking about? All because it was closer than
- 45:37Speaker 1: your bathroom? Wait? Wait wait I won't be getting in
- 45:40Speaker 1: there again, right and you haven't been invited? Clear, Let's
- 45:48Speaker 1: be clear. You know you got your own pool, Tommy,
- 45:53Speaker 1: I forgot it. Your pool, salt water or glory? Go
- 45:56Speaker 1: watch this? Which one? Huh? Which one to see? When
- 46:00Speaker 1: you start talking to see what ball? I don't say
- 46:07Speaker 1: nothing because I plead to Phil. Now, if you walk
- 46:12Speaker 1: down to the back of his property, there's a river
- 46:15Speaker 1: that run. You do know that though we probably in
- 46:18Speaker 1: the river. We gotta play. We gotta play bach, we
- 46:25Speaker 1: gotta go ahead. Go ahead, y'all sign Pete in the pool.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Let's go catch dump. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach it.
- 46:34Speaker 1: Can you hear me? Yes, I'm trying to reach Anastasia.
- 46:38Speaker 1: This is she? How are you doing? Listen? I'm Glenn
- 46:41Speaker 1: the lifeguard over here at the pool here in the
- 46:44Speaker 1: apartment complex. Yes, sir, do you have a um if
- 46:47Speaker 1: you have a song named yes, sir? Is everything? Hey? Yeah? Yeah?
- 46:52Speaker 1: Everything is fun? I mean a quick question, man. We
- 46:56Speaker 1: got a situation here with what's going on when we're
- 47:00Speaker 1: not gonna be allowed to h to let him swim
- 47:03Speaker 1: here at the pool and the complex anymore? What we
- 47:06Speaker 1: got him from me? Your son? I mean he swims
- 47:10Speaker 1: it pretty much every every every other day. You know,
- 47:13Speaker 1: I'm always in seeing him swim, but it seemed like
- 47:16Speaker 1: he is. You know, we've been trying to figure out
- 47:18Speaker 1: who it is. You'll your son keep peeing in the pool?
- 47:22Speaker 1: Slim man, I don't want to get into it with you.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Your son. We finally narrowed down your son is the
- 47:31Speaker 1: one that's pining in the pool every day, and you
- 47:33Speaker 1: know it's really a bad thing. Uh. We can't continue
- 47:36Speaker 1: to keep letting them come over here. We got to
- 47:38Speaker 1: ban him from the pool. We ain't nash it like this.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Did you check them to be he's gonna say it's
- 47:45Speaker 1: my song and then the pool, Well, your son is
- 47:48Speaker 1: the one to be making faces and stuff, and I
- 47:50Speaker 1: know that's what he's doing here in their pin Your
- 47:52Speaker 1: son is the one that's pinning faces. He'd be making faces,
- 47:57Speaker 1: so I know here in their pe that got to
- 47:59Speaker 1: do with them. We should be making faces a couple
- 48:01Speaker 1: pool or something. Well, you're gonna saying in the pool
- 48:05Speaker 1: because he's making safe I'm not gonna go back lasting
- 48:08Speaker 1: like that. I teach my kids better than that. He
- 48:10Speaker 1: ain't been a pool lady. I'm not gonna All I'm
- 48:13Speaker 1: saying is he can't come over here and swim anymore.
- 48:16Speaker 1: He's ban from the pool until we rectify this problems
- 48:20Speaker 1: not paying. When he gonna be in the pool and
- 48:23Speaker 1: we are in a pool, were gonna be there, and
- 48:25Speaker 1: that's a mind made of fact. I'm thinking, I'm kids
- 48:28Speaker 1: to the pool. No, we're gonna a man. I'm not
- 48:31Speaker 1: gonna city and go back and forth with you. All
- 48:33Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you was this right here? Your
- 48:35Speaker 1: son has been paying in the pool. My boss wants
- 48:38Speaker 1: me to bed him. If he's not the one, then
- 48:40Speaker 1: we will allow him to come back later. But right
- 48:42Speaker 1: now with singling people out and your sons, you know,
- 48:46Speaker 1: it just seems like he's the one that's doing it.
- 48:48Speaker 1: What's your say? Name was? My name is Glenn. I'm
- 48:51Speaker 1: Glenning the lifeguard that's who I am, not what's the
- 48:54Speaker 1: real name n that I was supposed to be calling me?
- 48:58Speaker 1: You ain't got no bitess, God of my I don't
- 49:00Speaker 1: talking about my son, no fool. How you everything to get?
- 49:04Speaker 1: I'm not at liberty to give my lad's name. The
- 49:06Speaker 1: bottom line is we can't call in the bottom what
- 49:10Speaker 1: but you aren't liberty to come down? But you can't
- 49:13Speaker 1: give me your own name. Okay, listen, I'm not. All
- 49:15Speaker 1: I'm supposed to do is call you gonna let you
- 49:17Speaker 1: know that we're banned in your son from getting in
- 49:19Speaker 1: the pool. Once you're talking about you can't band my
- 49:22Speaker 1: father trying the life board, get a real job, a
- 49:27Speaker 1: summer job, give your g job, and I calling my
- 49:30Speaker 1: fo you said him, you know what you ain't about,
- 49:34Speaker 1: and you can't stop nobody who's come next pool? And
- 49:36Speaker 1: we're gonna be damned though tomorrow again. And if you
- 49:40Speaker 1: did do your job and clean that man, let me
- 49:44Speaker 1: say this to you, if your son comes to the
- 49:46Speaker 1: pool tomorrow and get in the pool, I'm snatching your
- 49:49Speaker 1: son out of the pool. I unless you n I
- 49:52Speaker 1: wish you would because you don't need a lifeguard. You said,
- 49:56Speaker 1: trying a pool I wish you would. What time the
- 50:00Speaker 1: problem open? At ten o'clock. We're gonna be there nine Saturday.
- 50:04Speaker 1: You got me up? Come about you gonna snatch my
- 50:07Speaker 1: son out of the pool. You know mine? Everybody pool?
- 50:12Speaker 1: Yea mine, lady. The problem is whatever has been singled
- 50:17Speaker 1: out all the other kids, appointing us and saying he's
- 50:20Speaker 1: the one that's doing it. Your son is the one
- 50:22Speaker 1: that's being our boat. He's feeling whatever whatever. For right now,
- 50:28Speaker 1: all I'm asking is is keep your son away from
- 50:30Speaker 1: the pool for the next two weeks. If we fell
- 50:32Speaker 1: not that it's not him, will allow him to come back? Okay,
- 50:35Speaker 1: ain't he ain't staying away from the pool for two weeks.
- 50:38Speaker 1: If you do, he gonna come back and do some
- 50:40Speaker 1: motion pool. I'm gonna getting the whole two weeks with
- 50:42Speaker 1: it and go back to that talking about my son
- 50:45Speaker 1: to pool. You can tell you about his face. You
- 50:48Speaker 1: said what you said? You fly watching life, you watch
- 50:54Speaker 1: then the pool. You know fine, you must not know
- 50:57Speaker 1: what you're talking to. I will be down up some
- 51:00Speaker 1: I don't need I don't find my kids, and now
- 51:02Speaker 1: don't getting pool too. Don't hang it on a little
- 51:06Speaker 1: kids go without getting them in the pool. Let me
- 51:07Speaker 1: tell you something. Don't you bring them kids over there
- 51:10Speaker 1: and bring them in the pool. No, none of your children.
- 51:13Speaker 1: I don't give it. And what you say, you don't
- 51:15Speaker 1: run life guard, get rid of John. Lady. Listen, lady,
- 51:19Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go continue to go back and forth.
- 51:22Speaker 1: I got one more thing I need to say to
- 51:24Speaker 1: you what I'm done. I'm gay. One more thing that
- 51:26Speaker 1: I'm done. You ain't got to say to me. I
- 51:28Speaker 1: do have one thing I do need to say to
- 51:29Speaker 1: you what you have to say to me. I need
- 51:32Speaker 1: to say this. This is left you Tommy from the
- 51:35Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got Frank from your homeboard.
- 51:41Speaker 1: You Hello, we kid, look man, look it up you timmy,
- 51:53Speaker 1: doctor man. You want to get this life this y'all
- 51:58Speaker 1: play you must y'all know you how to play? To
- 52:00Speaker 1: what place? For nothing? I'm walking towards now. I thought
- 52:07Speaker 1: you was coming to the pool tomorrow. I was coming
- 52:10Speaker 1: to the office today. They still was opening the foecock.
- 52:13Speaker 1: I'll to tell me I come fother myself in the pool.
- 52:16Speaker 1: I was gonna come now, take care of them kids, baby.
- 52:21Speaker 1: I got one more thing I got to ask you.
- 52:23Speaker 1: What is the baddest radio show in the land, The
- 52:27Speaker 1: Steven so H y'all, Can I ask you a question? Uh?
- 52:43Speaker 1: Are what hand reach? Because we knew it was the
- 52:50Speaker 1: human resource. That's the last thing I'm gonna be. You
- 52:56Speaker 1: gotta ask him later, Steve. Coming up next, it's the
- 52:59Speaker 1: Strip Verry Letter and the subject is where do I
- 53:02Speaker 1: fit in with his friends? We'll get into it right
- 53:04Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show.

- 53:30Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tighte We got it for you.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry Letter. Thank you nephew. Okay, subject
- 53:38Speaker 1: where do I fit in with his friends? Here? Stephen Shirley.
- 53:41Speaker 1: I recently married the man of my dreams and I
- 53:44Speaker 1: love everything about him except his female friends and his
- 53:48Speaker 1: ex girl friends. This man is friends with everyone from
- 53:53Speaker 1: his past, and before we got married, his house was
- 53:55Speaker 1: party central. He slowed it down when we got serious,
- 53:59Speaker 1: and he changed his phone number to show me that
- 54:02Speaker 1: he was serious about being a one woman man. He
- 54:05Speaker 1: still allows an open door policy for his friends, and
- 54:08Speaker 1: I can't complain because he's such a great person. The
- 54:12Speaker 1: only problem I have is that he's too available for
- 54:15Speaker 1: his female friends, and they think we're all a big
- 54:19Speaker 1: family and I'm their sister in law. I have politely
- 54:23Speaker 1: corrected them for the past three years, and they complained
- 54:26Speaker 1: to my husband that I'm too standoffish and brash. So
- 54:30Speaker 1: a couple of weekends ago, we had a crap crawfish
- 54:35Speaker 1: boil for my husband's birthday, and I worked my behind
- 54:38Speaker 1: off to get the food and prepare the house for
- 54:41Speaker 1: to kick back. One of my husband's female friends called
- 54:44Speaker 1: and asked if she could bring the birthday cake because
- 54:46Speaker 1: her mom makes my husband's favorite Italian cream cake. I
- 54:51Speaker 1: told her thanks, but no thanks. On the day of
- 54:53Speaker 1: the party, not only does she bring the cake, she
- 54:56Speaker 1: brought her mom. Her mom pulled me aside and told
- 55:00Speaker 1: me that I am going to run my husband off
- 55:03Speaker 1: with my attitude and I need to stop trying to
- 55:05Speaker 1: shut his girlfriends out of his life. She said she
- 55:09Speaker 1: came in peace, but I was crushed. I wasn't expecting that,
- 55:13Speaker 1: and I tried to get through the rest of the festivities.
- 55:17Speaker 1: I felt out of place in my own home and
- 55:19Speaker 1: told my husband about it after everyone left. He apologized
- 55:23Speaker 1: and held me tightly, but then said he can't argue
- 55:27Speaker 1: with the old folks wisdom. How can he agree? I
- 55:31Speaker 1: feel like the outsider. Here? Are my feelings valid? Well? Yes,
- 55:34Speaker 1: of course your feelings are valid because your valot. You
- 55:39Speaker 1: know your feelings are not being valued. I don't think
- 55:42Speaker 1: by your husband, who agreed with the woman in front
- 55:45Speaker 1: of you, you don't do that. There's no way you
- 55:48Speaker 1: should feel like a stranger in your own home because
- 55:50Speaker 1: of his friends. But I have to point out that
- 55:53Speaker 1: you married him knowing he had all these female friends
- 55:57Speaker 1: and all these ex girlfriends and a pair he was
- 56:00Speaker 1: a player or something, because he mentioned about being a
- 56:03Speaker 1: one woman man when he got with you. I'm sure
- 56:06Speaker 1: you thought he would stop being friends with them, but
- 56:10Speaker 1: nothing changed when she became his wife. What happened to
- 56:13Speaker 1: him being a one woman man? Did that just go
- 56:15Speaker 1: out of the window? I mean You might be his
- 56:17Speaker 1: only wife, but he still got all these other females
- 56:19Speaker 1: in his life, and I think that's the issue. You
- 56:22Speaker 1: expected he would change, as so many women do, and
- 56:25Speaker 1: he didn't. Well, okay, he did change his phone number,
- 56:28Speaker 1: but they found him anyway. His behavior hasn't changed. You say,
- 56:34Speaker 1: he's a great guy. You can't complain about his open
- 56:36Speaker 1: door policy, but you don't want your home to be
- 56:39Speaker 1: party central anymore. That was fine for him back when
- 56:41Speaker 1: he was single. The problem is he hasn't made you
- 56:44Speaker 1: his wife the priority. If he did, I mean, his friends,
- 56:48Speaker 1: you know, wouldn't be allowed to just bring a cake
- 56:52Speaker 1: when you asked them not to, you know, or she
- 56:56Speaker 1: didn't have to bring the birthday cake you asked them
- 56:58Speaker 1: not to just come to the house and then joy
- 57:00Speaker 1: the festivities. Okay, the friend's mom wouldn't be pulling you
- 57:05Speaker 1: aside telling you all that stuff, and she wouldn't feel justified.
- 57:09Speaker 1: But then again, older people are gonna say whatever they want,
- 57:12Speaker 1: so we'll give her a path on that. But he
- 57:15Speaker 1: should never have agreed with them over you. So you
- 57:19Speaker 1: know which one is it gonna be. Either He's gonna
- 57:21Speaker 1: put you first to pull away from all these female
- 57:23Speaker 1: friends and ex girlfriends, or keep them and face the
- 57:26Speaker 1: possibility of losing you. Those are the choices. Your husband
- 57:30Speaker 1: can't have it both ways. Steve seemed to me like
- 57:33Speaker 1: in this latter you're gonna either have to fit in
- 57:37Speaker 1: or you're gonna get in the back of the line
- 57:39Speaker 1: where you seem to be. Anyway, See, how you start
- 57:44Speaker 1: is how you finish. All you can say it ain't
- 57:47Speaker 1: how you start is how you finish. But if you're
- 57:51Speaker 1: gonna start a marriage and a relationship a certain kind
- 57:54Speaker 1: of way and it is allowed to exist for a while,
- 57:58Speaker 1: how do you change that? You said, I recently married

- 1:07:46Speaker 1: living the gypsy life because he did a heavyweight champion.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: First of all, Yeah, we ain't never seen him. You
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: had never heard of it, heard of him from the
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: same place that wide receiver is from him, the Land
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: of the Unknown. Take from these people. NBA postseason, Man, tonight, Man,

- 1:08:21Speaker 1: the Timberwolves. That series is split one the one. Also,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: what about Phoenix series, Oh man, it's one one, yeah, man,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Phoenix Sons lost to the Pelicans there to night Man
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: one twenty five to one fourteen because Brandon even put
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: it in thirty seven. Then you got CJ. McCullum, he
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: dropped twenty three. They was winning until Devin Booker got
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: hurt in the third quarter. Man, that kind of hurt
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: him because he had thirty one in the third and
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: he got hurt third Yeah, yeah, he got hurt. Man,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: like a ham straight. We don't know it's gonna straight. Yeah, Man,

- 1:09:43Speaker 1: this week who took the Margharita to school and made
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: her little friends drinks. Her little five year old friends.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Take a little good morning everybody. See I was listening
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: to your radio this morning and little Keith to Margarita's
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: to school in the garden. Thomas said, do not do
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: not beat little kids anymore. I will. My grandson's asked
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: to do something wrong. They need to be bring back
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: corporal punishment. Every kid is deserved to get an ass whipping,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: a big bad I'm not saying he's in my heart
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: or get my ass whipping. My name is Sherry from Jersey.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Y'all have a great day. And Sherry is why you
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: need to stop kids from taking margaritas in schooler, because
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: they end up drinking when they're old. Because Sherry called in,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: why she was just finishing a quart of margarite. Thank you. Look,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I beat my grandchildren's ass if they pulled my drink out.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: He needed to bring back on corporate paul punishment. All right, now,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: all right, This caller is from Brooklyn. His name is Vance.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Good morning to see Vance laid again from Brooklyn. I'm
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: always calling in. Maybe I'll be working to hunt sometimes. Nah,
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: that's not true. But I just want to say, Steve, listen,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: you're the best. Keep being obedient. You're doing a good
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: job because your message is getting through. God said, get
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: through the one and I'll bless you what you're getting
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: through the millions. And Tommy, let me know when you
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: come into Brooklyn. Man, peace to all the ladies on
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: the show too. Of y'all. Lady right, appreciate the encouragement.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Dog doing the best we can down Hire. All right,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: This caller m Steve Alexander left a message about a
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: comedy special. About the comedy special. Let's hear it. Hi, Steve,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: this is Alexander calling from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My question
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: is to you, sir. A few years ago, back in
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, you're on an interview with Jimmy Kimmel thing
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: that you were thinking about doing another comedy special, and
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: a few weeks ago you also had earthquake guests who
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: had just had his own Netflix special. So I'm gonna
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: asking you, Steve, when are you going to do the special?
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: When are you gonna come out with the special? Are
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: you're gonna be working with Disney Plus or Hulu or
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Amazon Prime? I just want to know, because we need
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: the funny again. Man. Family feud is amazing, Judge, Steve
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Harvey is great, but we need a Netflix special or
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: at least your own HBO special or whatever special that
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: you should be doing. That. That's it, Thank you well,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: I appreciate it. Man. The thought is starting it mess
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: around in my head. I will tell you that the
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: special that I want to do will not be on
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Disney that much. You can take Disney off the list
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: of where you can catch it in, not Disney plus
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Disney minus Disney's exclusive Disney to the third power. You
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: can take me off Disney, Pasqua Eda anyway else Disney,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: because it's special I want to do will not be
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: on Disney. I'm thinking, I don't know, man, you know,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: I think I gotta wait a little bit cause see
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: the special I want to do, it's gonna be career ending. Yeah, really,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: I can't. No, it ain't the custing is the subject matter?
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: Oh it's the second at Yeah, your career ending. So
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: I pretty much need to career to be on the
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: way out, you know, like if I'm doing my lap round,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: you know how you do your last city tool basketball player.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: If I'm doing my last lap the last contract series
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: or something for TV, then I'll probably do it because
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: it's gonna be career ending. They're gonna cancel everything I got.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: The special I want everyd they ain't. I don't have nothing.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Now I won't even be allowed to fly normal what Yeah,
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: all right, coming up, we'll have more of the Steve
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Many major airlines
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: switched to a mask optional policy, with some cheers from
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: passengers when the changes were announced over loudspeakers from flight attendants.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: The Biden administration announced Tuesday evening that it will appeal
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: a Florida federal judges ruling on Monday that avoided the
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: federal mask mandate for planes and other public transportation if
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: the CDC believes it's advisable to extend the mandate if
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: necessary for public health. So the question is when you
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: guys fly, we all traveled, are you going to wear
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: your mask? Are you going to continue to wear your
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: masky thirty yes, eight years? Is that a question? Of course?
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: We are, Yes, absolutely, But a lot of people are
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: not a lot of people I'm wearing. I've heard this
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: one man say he wasn't gonna wear it because he
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: didn't think they did much good anyway. So he was
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: glad as ye would you say, Junior, And he's alist, yeah,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: I was like he said that I saw people that
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: they had a video when they were taking their masks
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: off on the plane and throwing them away. You know
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: how the flight attendant walked down as they were throwing
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: their masks away. I'm like, it seems like even if
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: you didn't wear it in the airport, you'd want to
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: wear it on the airplane. Yes, yeah, the flu everything else.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Yeah about COVID that we've been nasty a long time?
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Ya we've been, yes, says the resident germaphobe. Yes, all right,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: all right, coming up with thirty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: we'll play a round I would you rather right after
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: this you're listening Steve Hardy running show time now for
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: a round of would you rather? Let's jump right into it.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Would you rather give up social media or eat the
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: same dinner for the rest of your life? To give
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: up social media or eat the same dinner for the
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: rest of your life till you'll give up social media?
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: A heartbeat? Right now? Yeah, I don't give a damn.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: I'm not changing a meal. It doesn't sound like this
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: is much about the meal, though. You're taking me on
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: social media. Man, eat the same thing now, all right?

- 1:20:20Speaker 1: the major part of the problem that we have because
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: two of two of us seem to understand exactly where
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: we are. There's one of us and and very delusional
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: actually thinks he's sexy and gorgeous and fine and all

- 1:20:52Speaker 1: are are we ugly? No no, no, no, we're talking
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: about you clearly her ugly. I don't and that's as
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: far as she willing to go with the state. But
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: answer the question. Let's just answer the questions. That ain't
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: what we're talking about. What are we talking about? Is
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: a good Tommy Fine? That is the question, Tom's nephew,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Tommy Fine. What are you choking? Why? Why is Monica
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: pressing her mute button three and four times? That's the question?
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: Does anybody can answer? It's Tommy fine? All right? I
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: think this show is full of good looking people, attractive people.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: We're a good looking show. Seven seven when nasty, I
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: take her from the people, my spirit of the people.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: If you think Tommy is fine ugly, just tell me.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: I mean maybe I told you that. I tell you
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: that twice some weeks. You heard it the whole time
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: he was growing up. He was a cute little boy.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: What Shelley, You didn't grow up with him, but even
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: strange looking his entire life. I was riding down in
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: the street and that little girl named Shalinda that you like,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: and you ride your back bying wave out a little Shelinda,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: go hey loo last Tommy, And that's how she yeah

- 1:23:55Speaker 1: unfolded blanket, you know, because you keep the baby covering,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: face covering and hawking. We get outside it open it
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: up in church and you hear stuff like my MoMA
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: ain't never told me nothing about this. Here, I'm telling
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: you your mom wasn't gonna say nothing. She want hold
