The debate over fur as big retailers go faux
It’s pretty hot to be talking about fur, but two big blows happened to the fur industry in Canada late last week. Luxury department store Holt Renfrew announced that it will officially go fur-free by the end of 2021 and Canada Goose, the maker of luxury winter coats announced it will no longer use animal fur on its clothing (their jackets have traditionally featured coyote fur).
