  Speaker 1: his actions, he departed the Capitol grounds without taking any questions.

  Speaker 1: White House Press Secretary Jean Pierre, stated that President Biden

  Speaker 1: was quote certainly familiar with what his son was going

  Speaker 1: to say, quote unquote, Missus John Peter declined, however, to

  Speaker 1: the President approved of his son defying the congressional subpoenas. Nonetheless,

  Speaker 1: mister Biden would choose to defy two congressional subpoenas. Under

  Speaker 1: the relevant section of the Criminal Code, it is unlawful

  Speaker 1: to corruptly endeavor to influence, obstruct, or impede the due

  Speaker 1: and proper exercise any committees or either House or any

  Speaker 1: a principle of the crime. So clearly, if Joe Biden

  Speaker 1: just stated by the judiciary in the House Oversight committees.

  Speaker 1: the involvement of the President in his son's scheme to

  Speaker 1: defy the committee's subpoenas. The committees have accumulated substantial evidence

  Speaker 4: Hunter Biden's not wanting to come in and answer questions.
