- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn them out to turn. Turn the

- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall will Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey,
- 2:11Speaker 1: I got a radio show, just trying to give God
- 2:16Speaker 1: some back, just some back of what even gave me,
- 2:20Speaker 1: just a portion, you know. Just I'm just trying, man
- 2:24Speaker 1: to to show some type of gratitude for all his blessings.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm just trying to man, just just get it right sometimes,
- 2:36Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I mean, man, you just
- 2:37Speaker 1: can't do what you want to do and just live
- 2:40Speaker 1: wrong all the time. Man, you got it at one
- 2:42Speaker 1: point in time, Steve, come home. Man, come on, man,
- 2:45Speaker 1: you could do better. I know you can, you know saying,
- 2:49Speaker 1: and you know what I had to do. I had
- 2:50Speaker 1: to stop saying, I'm gonna try to do better. And
- 2:54Speaker 1: I just had to say, hey, man, I'm going to
- 2:56Speaker 1: do better. You know, trying it's just to put forth
- 3:00Speaker 1: and then if it don't work, well, okay. But if
- 3:02Speaker 1: you make up in your mind and I'm going to
- 3:04Speaker 1: do something, then trying isn't enough. It's getting it done
- 3:08Speaker 1: is the only thing that matters. Since the difference between
- 3:11Speaker 1: doing and trying. We're gonna try to win the game,
- 3:15Speaker 1: or we're gonna go out here to win the game. Now,
- 3:17Speaker 1: trying to win the game means that you could lose.
- 3:20Speaker 1: But when you got in your mind made up, most
- 3:23Speaker 1: athletes will tell you that they go out there with
- 3:25Speaker 1: the full intent and purpose of winning and winning. Only
- 3:30Speaker 1: see they don't put the second place finish on the
- 3:32Speaker 1: cover Sports Illustrated. Second place don't get you there. You
- 3:36Speaker 1: got to win. And now take it out of the
- 3:39Speaker 1: scope of athletics, but keep it in that type of
- 3:41Speaker 1: type of analogy in life. Man, you just want to
- 3:44Speaker 1: you want to win in life, don't you. I mean,
- 3:47Speaker 1: at the end of the day, don't you want to
- 3:48Speaker 1: be on the cover of Sports Illustrated the life. Don't
- 3:51Speaker 1: you want to be recognized for your hard work? Don't
- 3:54Speaker 1: you want you know, to be recognized within the bonus
- 3:58Speaker 1: structure down at your job. Don't you want to have
- 4:00Speaker 1: your plaque up on the wall down at your job?
- 4:03Speaker 1: I mean most people do. Some people could care less.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Some people don't care about looking good or being their best.
- 4:08Speaker 1: And that's cool. But I ain't talking to them though.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I'm talking to you. I'm talking to those of you
- 4:13Speaker 1: who want to be the best you can be. You know,
- 4:16Speaker 1: people kill me when they're getting mad at people here
- 4:19Speaker 1: and he Brown knows and he hall up on an
- 4:21Speaker 1: employee of them. All man, the dude doing his job
- 4:24Speaker 1: to the best of his ability, and he getting recognized
- 4:26Speaker 1: for it. What they got to do? It? All that
- 4:28Speaker 1: you're talking about because you ain't up there. It's amazing, man,
- 4:31Speaker 1: how people describe other people's success. He's so lucky, lucky?
- 4:35Speaker 1: Hey man, don't they kind of get you a little
- 4:37Speaker 1: bit when people call you lucky? When let me tell
- 4:40Speaker 1: you what luck really is, y'all. Luck is when hard
- 4:43Speaker 1: work bumps up into opportunity. Some people call that luck.
- 4:47Speaker 1: But hold on, let's think about this. If you wasn't
- 4:51Speaker 1: working hard, an opportunity presented itself, what would you call that?
- 4:56Speaker 1: But see, when you've been working hard, an opportunity presents
- 4:58Speaker 1: itself and it bumps up each other. Now people want
- 5:01Speaker 1: to call that luck, but hold up here, go to
- 5:03Speaker 1: part though to day, ain't paying no attention to Yeah,
- 5:05Speaker 1: that opportunity came by, But if you had not been
- 5:08Speaker 1: working hard, and the hard work had not ran up
- 5:10Speaker 1: in the opportunity, what would you have? No, sir, it's
- 5:13Speaker 1: not luck, it's work. It is work, because as a
- 5:16Speaker 1: scripture that says, faith without works is dead. But my
- 5:21Speaker 1: mama was a Sunday school teacher. She taught me enough. Though.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Now I know different between right and wrong, just like
- 5:27Speaker 1: you do. You ain't gotta you know. Itcused me when
- 5:30Speaker 1: people write a strawberry letter? Am I wrong for this?
- 5:32Speaker 1: You know? Gooding? Well, look at let's read your letter?
- 5:35Speaker 1: Are you wrong for this? You know you're wrong? What
- 5:37Speaker 1: you don't need that's to be telling, you know? But
- 5:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this anyway. Well, e see, go ahead, though,
- 5:42Speaker 1: do what you want to do. But you know what, y'all,
- 5:45Speaker 1: here's the best advice I can give you. This is
- 5:47Speaker 1: what I really came to talk about this morning, but
- 5:50Speaker 1: I got sidetrack because I listened. Get out of your
- 5:54Speaker 1: own way. So many of us are blocking our home blessings.
- 5:59Speaker 1: We just in own way. We are in our own way.
- 6:04Speaker 1: And one of the most dangerous ways you can get
- 6:06Speaker 1: in your way is to do it your way, to
- 6:10Speaker 1: get it figured your way, and to lock in on
- 6:13Speaker 1: your way and just the way it's got to go.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Do you know how many people are blocking a blessing?
- 6:18Speaker 1: Do you know how long I blocked mine with that mindset?
- 6:22Speaker 1: Right there? Look, because it's the way you do it,
- 6:25Speaker 1: Do you think that make it the right way? You
- 6:28Speaker 1: think jazz, because you'dn't thought on it long and hard,
- 6:30Speaker 1: and that's what you really want. Do you really think
- 6:33Speaker 1: that your way is the right way or could there
- 6:35Speaker 1: be a better way? See? Until I started listening to
- 6:38Speaker 1: God and started paying attention to his way, man, I
- 6:42Speaker 1: was spending my wheels. Man, I was out here so
- 6:45Speaker 1: determined this how I was going to do it. But
- 6:47Speaker 1: you know I had to learn how to get out
- 6:49Speaker 1: of my own way because just because I could do
- 6:52Speaker 1: it my way didn't mean it was the right way.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I had to get out of my own way. Just
- 6:59Speaker 1: get out your way, man, Now, what what does that mean?
- 7:04Speaker 1: That means, see, set your goals, That means have your
- 7:10Speaker 1: dreams that I'm saying, set your goals, man, I ain't
- 7:15Speaker 1: saying don't set goals. Listen to me. Set your goals.
- 7:17Speaker 1: What is it you want to happen? What is it
- 7:19Speaker 1: you like to have? What is it you like to be?
- 7:22Speaker 1: What are you aspire to? Set your goals and set
- 7:25Speaker 1: your dreams. Now take your goals and your dreams to
- 7:30Speaker 1: God and ask God to show you how. Man, you
- 7:35Speaker 1: can save yourself a lot of pain. Listen to somebody
- 7:39Speaker 1: who did it his way for so long. And when
- 7:42Speaker 1: I finally got out of my way, out of my
- 7:45Speaker 1: own way. When you've heard old people say, let go
- 7:49Speaker 1: and let God, you've heard them say that I didn't.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I didn't get it, but I got it. Now let
- 7:55Speaker 1: go and let God. And it's amazing little saying. Though
- 7:59Speaker 1: now you know you may not get it now. It
- 8:01Speaker 1: took me a bunch of years to get it too.
- 8:03Speaker 1: But when I took my goals and my dreams and
- 8:06Speaker 1: my vision to God and I said, God, this is
- 8:09Speaker 1: what I hope for, this is what I aspired to,
- 8:11Speaker 1: this is what I want to be, this is why
- 8:13Speaker 1: I would love to get to. Then I said, help
- 8:16Speaker 1: me show me how. Point me in the right direction.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Let me follow your footsteps, guide me and give me
- 8:24Speaker 1: a spirit of discernment. Show me who wrong? Because I
- 8:27Speaker 1: meet people every day. Ain't up to no good with
- 8:29Speaker 1: me every single day. Oh man, Man, I can't believe
- 8:34Speaker 1: I run up into you. Man, the Lord told me
- 8:36Speaker 1: something's gonna happen to me today. Well, see, I talked
- 8:39Speaker 1: to him every day. He did not mention you to me.
- 8:43Speaker 1: He ain't said nothing to me. He didn't tell me
- 8:45Speaker 1: what's gonna happen in mind. Now I don't mean it
- 8:47Speaker 1: can't happen because I'm open to it. So really, man,
- 8:51Speaker 1: I'm and and please no, I'm listening as well as
- 8:54Speaker 1: I've ever listened before. But but get yourself together, though,
- 8:58Speaker 1: see no, your goals in your dreams, and then let
- 9:01Speaker 1: God show you how to do it. He'll do it.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You know. It's so important everybody, that you get focused,
- 9:07Speaker 1: that you aim for something, that you dream of something,
- 9:10Speaker 1: that you aspire to something. But it's the most the
- 9:13Speaker 1: best thing you can do. After you do all that, Man,
- 9:16Speaker 1: get God involved in it. Man, talk to him. I mean,
- 9:19Speaker 1: why would you not what you got to lose. You
- 9:22Speaker 1: ain't got to go down there and make no big
- 9:23Speaker 1: scene and run laps around the church and run up
- 9:26Speaker 1: there and throw yourself on the altar and scream and
- 9:29Speaker 1: flip over and throw money in the air. You ain't
- 9:31Speaker 1: got to do that. This you and God, man, This
- 9:34Speaker 1: you and God. You know you got to serve and
- 9:36Speaker 1: praise Him the way you do it. You gotta let
- 9:38Speaker 1: nobody else tell you highs done. It's a personal relationship.
- 9:42Speaker 1: People kill me if you don't do it this way.
- 9:43Speaker 1: If you don't come here to this church and you
- 9:45Speaker 1: don't run around in this circle and you don't get
- 9:47Speaker 1: flipped in the air, you don't, Hey, man, you better
- 9:49Speaker 1: go have a relationship with God. See what that's about.
- 9:52Speaker 1: You understand? Nobody throw you off with all that? All right,
- 9:54Speaker 1: All right, y'all talk to him. He loves to hear
- 9:56Speaker 1: from you. Today you're listening morning show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Without further ado, I think that we all have just
- 10:07Speaker 1: gonna get it started. You've been waiting, you don't woke up,
- 10:14Speaker 1: you're driving home, or you're doing some things that haven't
- 10:18Speaker 1: lasted all day long. Ain't none of that in my business.
- 10:21Speaker 1: The fact of the matter is you are here to
- 10:26Speaker 1: bear witness to the greatest Marty Show on Planet Earth,

- 11:06Speaker 1: trying to inspire the fifty and up group. Gonna come on,
- 11:10Speaker 1: let's stay with it. Got a group of guys that
- 11:13Speaker 1: I'm on a text feed with and we went to
- 11:16Speaker 1: school together. We decided to challenge each other. A couple
- 11:20Speaker 1: old head old gs o J. Yeah, they're just trying
- 11:26Speaker 1: to be some you know, some m ags. Some mags
- 11:32Speaker 1: trying to go from middle aged gangsters close to mac.
- 11:38Speaker 1: That's too close. Mag Wheels, ain't got nothing to do
- 11:43Speaker 1: with no damn mag up m ag, middle aged gangster.
- 11:48Speaker 1: A bunch of old gs trying to turn back to
- 11:50Speaker 1: the clock and be some middle aged gangster. And let
- 11:54Speaker 1: me tell you something, it's hard it's hard to be
- 11:58Speaker 1: middle aged hard field mile as gangster wants you sixty so,
- 12:04Speaker 1: but you're working on it though. I did beat them
- 12:08Speaker 1: yofa for the first time. Okay, what is that? Uh?
- 12:13Speaker 1: It's twenty six dedicated poses in one hundred and four degrees. Yeah,
- 12:18Speaker 1: that's that hot? You cooking? How'd you do? Yeah? I finished?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Did We didn't say did you finish? There's a difference. Well,
- 12:32Speaker 1: I saw all the poles. How many did you get
- 12:35Speaker 1: in the first one? The first one when you started? Yeah,
- 12:40Speaker 1: when you stand up and put your hands over your head,
- 12:42Speaker 1: I can do that all day. Then what then? But
- 12:49Speaker 1: you gotta make your your You gotta make your biceps
- 12:53Speaker 1: touched your ears and then hold them straight straight, elbows out. Oh,
- 12:57Speaker 1: don't worry about that's it. That's all you gonna be
- 13:00Speaker 1: able to do all the rest of it. Who that
- 13:03Speaker 1: felt good? Now? I was sitting there looking at them people.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Oh God, almighty, I bucked the pub. But I'm telling you, man,
- 13:12Speaker 1: I felt really good. I'm gonna go back again tomorrow. Um.
- 13:17Speaker 1: But I'm gonna tell you something, man, Um, It's it's
- 13:20Speaker 1: the hardest thing I've ever done. First of all, I
- 13:23Speaker 1: couldn't do the poses. A couple of my I almost got,
- 13:27Speaker 1: but that was all. If someone was just I just
- 13:30Speaker 1: started laughing at the lady. Well, keep congratulations, Steve, keep
- 13:36Speaker 1: up the good word. Coming up at thirty two minutes
- 13:38Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll do some ask the CLO Chief
- 13:41Speaker 1: Love Officer right after this. You're listening show all right,
- 13:47Speaker 1: here we go, time for the CLO Chief Love Officer
- 13:50Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building. Let's go. Marcus in Atlantic
- 13:53Speaker 1: City says, recently, my fiance lost a lot of weight,
- 13:58Speaker 1: so she looks great, but she has a flat But
- 14:01Speaker 1: her sister had weight loss surgery and got a Brazilian
- 14:03Speaker 1: butt lift, so my girl wants one. Two. Her sister
- 14:07Speaker 1: was at our house and my fiance encouraged me to
- 14:10Speaker 1: look at her butt and feel it. I guess I
- 14:15Speaker 1: got carried away and squeezed it a little too much.
- 14:18Speaker 1: My fiance got mad and accused me of wanting to
- 14:20Speaker 1: sleep with her. Sister. Is just a butt, and she
- 14:25Speaker 1: told me to feel on it. But the butt was plus,
- 14:30Speaker 1: she soft, But I didn't want her. How can I
- 14:33Speaker 1: fix this? I don't want her? Well, you could stop
- 14:37Speaker 1: lying about that, Marcus. What he wants you grabbed you
- 14:41Speaker 1: wanted it all that grabbed and stuff. Yeah, you followed instruction,
- 14:48Speaker 1: but it was But see what happened, Marcus was you
- 14:52Speaker 1: probably didn't realize it, but when you did it, you
- 14:54Speaker 1: bit your bottom lilt. That's what got you in trouble,
- 15:00Speaker 1: when you sucked in your bottom loop. He made a noise.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Oh I would have not. Yeah he did. This is
- 15:06Speaker 1: what he did. Right here, we're there. Yeah, that breathe
- 15:13Speaker 1: and that's what costs you. That's all it is. Ma.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I can't help you, though, sudn't ask your woman wants
- 15:20Speaker 1: you to drag nothing better than that another? And when
- 15:22Speaker 1: is that? Chante and Gary? We're moving on, says My
- 15:30Speaker 1: mother and I have always had the worst relationship, and
- 15:33Speaker 1: now that I'm older, I can't stand her. She's been
- 15:36Speaker 1: on drugs for most of my life and the embarrassment,
- 15:38Speaker 1: the lies and stealing from me has me bitter. She's
- 15:42Speaker 1: been clean for six years and I've helped her out
- 15:44Speaker 1: whenever I can. She got saved and she's the very
- 15:47Speaker 1: best Christian ever. She quotes Scripture all day and tells
- 15:51Speaker 1: me I'm going to Hell every five seconds. How can
- 15:54Speaker 1: I be there for her and work on our relationship?
- 15:56Speaker 1: Without cursing her out. Well, you don't have to cuss out.
- 16:00Speaker 1: But since she's the best Christian ever, why don't you
- 16:02Speaker 1: remind her of a couple of things. There's some scriptures
- 16:06Speaker 1: that if she's such a great and wants to quote
- 16:08Speaker 1: some scriptures you know about not judging, you know, he
- 16:13Speaker 1: who is without seeing cast the first stone, you know, forgiveness, understanding,
- 16:21Speaker 1: you know how to you don't. You don't guide people
- 16:24Speaker 1: into light by blowing out what love candle they got?
- 16:28Speaker 1: So now your mama then got it together? Now everybody
- 16:31Speaker 1: else held bound had she forgotten? But see, that's the
- 16:35Speaker 1: problem with a lot of people who become Christians, not all,
- 16:38Speaker 1: but some they get saved and all of a sudden
- 16:41Speaker 1: they forget that they wasn't saved right, and other people do.
- 16:47Speaker 1: And the only way to win people over and convert
- 16:50Speaker 1: people as Christian it's just let your light shine. They
- 16:54Speaker 1: can see the Jesus in you. Yeah, and you ain't
- 16:57Speaker 1: got to tell nobody you're doing better. They can see it.
- 17:00Speaker 1: You've been a junkie your whole damn life, her whole life.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Now you don't went down to church for six years
- 17:06Speaker 1: and all of a sudden you Jesus, where you're not.
- 17:09Speaker 1: She is Jesus. That's what she's talking like, like she
- 17:14Speaker 1: ain't got no seeing, no problem telling her daughter she
- 17:16Speaker 1: going to hill, Well, wasn't that way you was going
- 17:18Speaker 1: a few years back? Wow? Yeah, her dad is pretty
- 17:22Speaker 1: upset about it. But don't cur so. It's kind of tough.
- 17:25Speaker 1: You don't have to cuss out. Just show her some
- 17:28Speaker 1: scriptures since she want to be a Christian, recite stuff.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Don't say cash or first Stone. She's don't think of
- 17:34Speaker 1: that rock. You don't want to You don't want to
- 17:35Speaker 1: turn around that right back where she started. All right,
- 17:43Speaker 1: thank you hello for that one. Yeah. Patrisa Tennessee says,
- 17:46Speaker 1: I'm a thirty two year old woman and I've had
- 17:48Speaker 1: a very open sex life. I have a male best
- 17:51Speaker 1: friend that's the same way, and we recently crossed the
- 17:53Speaker 1: line and ended up being friends with benefits. We've had
- 17:57Speaker 1: threesomes and done lots of kinky things. He loves to
- 18:00Speaker 1: see other people satisfy me orally, but he won't do it.
- 18:05Speaker 1: It's an issue for me because I do it and
- 18:07Speaker 1: enjoy it. He wants to be in a relationship, but
- 18:10Speaker 1: this is a deal breaker. Am I tripping over nothing. Well,
- 18:14Speaker 1: you don't. You don't know why he don't want to
- 18:17Speaker 1: do it. You want me to tell you why he
- 18:19Speaker 1: don't want to do it? Because it is wide open
- 18:22Speaker 1: sex life you got, and maybe it's just been a
- 18:25Speaker 1: little too open for him. Now he didn't watch everybody
- 18:30Speaker 1: with you, and he ain't fit to go in behind nobody.
- 18:33Speaker 1: That don't make no sense to you. Wow, but see it.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I don't know how you say. When I'm sitting him
- 18:43Speaker 1: here watching all this open activity, you're doing threesomes and
- 18:48Speaker 1: every Well, I ain't fit to be focile. Okay you
- 18:51Speaker 1: draw the line, that's why. Yeah, so now you know
- 18:57Speaker 1: I'm not doing that, So I don't. I don't know
- 19:01Speaker 1: what you're tripping for. We get one of the other
- 19:04Speaker 1: people to do it. How many is in this open relationship?
- 19:07Speaker 1: Do it? They do? It's well, he don't want to
- 19:10Speaker 1: do it. He don't do that now doing everything? Yeah,
- 19:13Speaker 1: you want everything from everybody? I think you greedy. She
- 19:17Speaker 1: says it's a deal breaker for her if he doesn't
- 19:19Speaker 1: do that. Okay, what's she gonna do? Stop seeing it?
- 19:24Speaker 1: She says, that's what that means. I'm not gonna stop them.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Three she's not gonna stop that. Yeah, but time she
- 19:29Speaker 1: got fifteen people in her life probably yeah, yeah, losing
- 19:34Speaker 1: one ain't gonna hurt her. You can take three of

- 21:28Speaker 1: payment from you in about four months, sir Na financial
- 21:33Speaker 1: with the other another thing, I don't don't. I don't

- 22:00Speaker 1: another time, my tis my truck over to y'all to pay. Y'all,
- 22:03Speaker 1: I don't even know, well, I understand that. Sure. What
- 22:05Speaker 1: happens is if you haven't paid it in a certain
- 22:07Speaker 1: amount of time, it actually comes over to the collection agency.
- 22:09Speaker 1: And that's what they've done. They've actually sent it over
- 22:11Speaker 1: to us. UH. They've given us UH pretty much all
- 22:14Speaker 1: the information on you. I guess it's a gold this

- 22:32Speaker 1: so we don't have to come in and repossess your truck.
- 22:34Speaker 1: And I don't want to have to do that. But
- 22:35Speaker 1: if I have to send a record out there to you,
- 22:37Speaker 1: I have your address on file as well. I don't

- 22:57Speaker 1: telling you what, no, no, look, that's not that's not
- 23:01Speaker 1: even where we gotta go with that. Don't be you
- 23:03Speaker 1: don't need to be screaming and fussing and chaotic and

- 24:02Speaker 1: with somebody, elsen check with somebody else to make sure
- 24:04Speaker 1: I'm right. It didn't call me back. I'm telling you
- 24:07Speaker 1: you haven't paid anything, That's what I'm telling you. I've
- 24:10Speaker 1: got it listed on the computer. You've been turned over
- 24:13Speaker 1: an agency and you haven't done it. You haven't done
- 24:16Speaker 1: a thing. What are you? Stupid? You? You you're raising
- 24:19Speaker 1: your press scream in a hall over the phone like
- 24:21Speaker 1: that because they ain't gonna do me me? Are you

- 27:15Speaker 1: They had a deal in Cleveland when I was about
- 27:18Speaker 1: twenty four, a dealing. You remember when mopeds was hot. Yep,
- 27:22Speaker 1: everybody had mo pads. They had a special deal. You
- 27:25Speaker 1: can come down and get one and then pay on
- 27:27Speaker 1: it for three months. They had to come get that.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Oh why you got a moped repot? They well, well,
- 27:38Speaker 1: let me put They tried to come get that. You
- 27:41Speaker 1: think I can hide a car good? You know how
- 27:43Speaker 1: to scale dog? I hear the moped in my backyard
- 27:50Speaker 1: for three weeks. They didn't say it in the backyard
- 27:54Speaker 1: under some bushes. I raked the leaves one time and
- 27:59Speaker 1: he it. You know it's a mopen. One time, I

- 28:27Speaker 1: the garbage. Can't put that lead on it. It won't
- 28:29Speaker 1: it won't great pass all right? Coming up at the
- 28:31Speaker 1: top of the hour, we'll have entertainment news and our
- 28:34Speaker 1: national news update with miss Anne. Right after this, you're
- 28:37Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up in twenty minutes
- 28:43Speaker 1: after the hour, we have a very special guest. He
- 28:47Speaker 1: knows you very well, Steve. Oh, and I think you
- 28:50Speaker 1: know him too. It's Keenan Thompson. Keenan Thompson is joining us. Uh.
- 28:56Speaker 1: He's gonna talk about his brand new NBC sitcom. It
- 28:59Speaker 1: is called Keenan. Yeah, congratulations. Well one of us has
- 29:05Speaker 1: a career because of somebody else. Let's take a guess
- 29:09Speaker 1: who that could be. You know he loves you. No,
- 29:14Speaker 1: that's my dude. Man. Yeah, that's due. Yeah, that's cool.
- 29:18Speaker 1: And switching gears. Rush Limbaugh, the conservative political talk show host.
- 29:23Speaker 1: He did radio. He has died. Limbaugh announced he had
- 29:26Speaker 1: lung cancer back in twenty eighteen. He passed away from
- 29:29Speaker 1: lung cancer on Wednesday. He was seventy years old. Wow, Steve, Okay, Um, Tommy,
- 29:40Speaker 1: Tommy here, I don't ask me, No, you needn saying that.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I'm not saying I need Well, I'm with you, all right.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Then we're moving on. How about that? How about that?
- 29:51Speaker 1: Shall we? Uh, we'll talk about the NBA. How about that?
- 29:54Speaker 1: Despite the pushback of some NBA players, We're moving on.
- 29:57Speaker 1: We're moving on. The NBA All Star Game will take
- 30:00Speaker 1: place in Atlanta on Sunday, March seventh. Atlanta Mayor Keisha
- 30:04Speaker 1: Lant's Bottom has voiced her concerns about the event taking
- 30:09Speaker 1: place in her city amid the COVID nineteen pandemic that
- 30:12Speaker 1: is still widespread around the country. Mayor Bottoms released a
- 30:16Speaker 1: statement which clearly expressed her thoughts on the event. She says,
- 30:20Speaker 1: under normal circumstances, we would be extremely grateful for the
- 30:24Speaker 1: opportunity to host the NBA All Star Game, but this
- 30:27Speaker 1: is not a typical year. I have shared my concerns
- 30:30Speaker 1: related to public health and safety with the NBA and
- 30:33Speaker 1: Atlanta Hawks. We are in agreement that this is a
- 30:36Speaker 1: made for TV event only and people should not travel
- 30:40Speaker 1: to Atlanta to party. And so what do you guys
- 30:43Speaker 1: think she's right? Yeah? Agree with her for sure. Yeah.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I mean in Atlanta, though, people are going to be out.
- 30:52Speaker 1: But first of all, for the safety of the players.
- 30:55Speaker 1: If you bring in players from all over the country
- 31:00Speaker 1: to a place that's kind of open, you know, I
- 31:05Speaker 1: mean you just all the players. Lebron has come out
- 31:08Speaker 1: and said he doesn't it doesn't make any sense. It
- 31:11Speaker 1: doesn't make any sense. Look, the Pro the Pro Bowl
- 31:15Speaker 1: was canceled this year. Yeah, NFL Honors wasn't shot in
- 31:22Speaker 1: front of a live audience. I did that in an
- 31:24Speaker 1: mpt AS stadium. All the sports are catering around this thing.
- 31:28Speaker 1: The NBA missed it on this one. They did an
- 31:31Speaker 1: excellent job with the playoffs in the bubble, but I
- 31:33Speaker 1: think they missed it on the All Star Game here.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I don't think it's scape and people traditionally flocked to
- 31:39Speaker 1: the cities for the festivities that go around it. It's
- 31:42Speaker 1: just gonna be a bunch of people in Atlanta for
- 31:44Speaker 1: no reason. They're gonna be throwing. They're gonna be throwing
- 31:46Speaker 1: All Star parties, yeah, yeah, yeah, and all those are
- 31:50Speaker 1: super spreaders. Yeah, and they usually have President's Day weekend.
- 31:56Speaker 1: You didn't even have it then, so just cancel it.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Don't make no sense. Many they had the Super Bowl,
- 32:02Speaker 1: so you know, hey, the only way it would make
- 32:05Speaker 1: sense if they would go back to Orlando and have
- 32:08Speaker 1: the All Star Game in the bubble, same way they
- 32:12Speaker 1: had the playoffs. The super Bowl wasn't like that. Fans
- 32:18Speaker 1: went to that game. Well, but super Bowl is outside
- 32:23Speaker 1: and you can spread their ass way out seven. It's
- 32:28Speaker 1: too late to change it now. If you put me
- 32:30Speaker 1: in an arena and six people got COVID, I don't
- 32:33Speaker 1: want in the arena. All right, let's go, Steve. Time
- 32:37Speaker 1: to check in with ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne trip
- 32:41Speaker 1: and here we go. Good morning everyone. This is a
- 32:43Speaker 1: trip with the news in the Midwest and deep South
- 32:46Speaker 1: still in the thick of it weatherwise. Overall, millions remained
- 32:49Speaker 1: after out of power from Texas to Mississippi and from
- 32:52Speaker 1: the Florida Panhandles to the Carolinas. The weather is now
- 32:56Speaker 1: blamed for at least twenty six deaths, including three people
- 32:59Speaker 1: who died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning. Authorities
- 33:02Speaker 1: say one person was killed just outside Cleveland when a
- 33:05Speaker 1: snowplow hit his vehicle. In Texas, snow and below freezing
- 33:08Speaker 1: temperatures have millions of Texans out of power and now
- 33:11Speaker 1: also dealing with water shortages and boil water orders. In fact,
- 33:16Speaker 1: Tyler's city official Luanne Campbell says, it's come down to
- 33:19Speaker 1: taking care of yourself and your neighbors. If you can,
- 33:22Speaker 1: you have water and somebody else's power, share those resources
- 33:25Speaker 1: because they need them. Further up the map, Chicago dealing
- 33:29Speaker 1: with near record amounts of snow with subzero temperatures causing
- 33:32Speaker 1: burst heating it pipes and water pipes, even some collapsed roofs.
- 33:36Speaker 1: There have been nine straight days of snow. They're still
- 33:39Speaker 1: trying to shovel it out, tying the record in the
- 33:42Speaker 1: Windy City with eighteen inches of the white stuff having
- 33:44Speaker 1: fallen since Sunday. That's right. The weather is the big story,
- 33:48Speaker 1: and everybody's still in the thick of it. The ACP
- 33:51Speaker 1: has filed the federal lawsuit against Donald Trump for allegedly
- 33:54Speaker 1: conspiring with his lawyer and white extremist groups to try
- 33:57Speaker 1: and prevent the US Senate from certifying the results the
- 34:00Speaker 1: presidential election that he lost, and the legendary civil rights
- 34:03Speaker 1: organization is suing under a provision of the klu Klux
- 34:06Speaker 1: Klan Act of eighteen seventy one, basically that prohibits violence
- 34:09Speaker 1: or intimidation meant to prevent the Congress or any other
- 34:12Speaker 1: federal officials from carrying out their constitutional duties. The case
- 34:16Speaker 1: also named Rudy Giuliani and racist groups like the Oast
- 34:19Speaker 1: Keepers and the Proud Boys, which have members charged with
- 34:22Speaker 1: taking part in January's attempted Capitol Hill siege. Longtime right
- 34:26Speaker 1: wing radio talk show host Rusi Limbau died yesterday after
- 34:29Speaker 1: losing a long battle against lung cancer. Limba was an
- 34:33Speaker 1: unabashed conservative who combined right wing politics with entertainment. In fact,
- 34:37Speaker 1: he spoke for a lot of extremists who were horrified
- 34:40Speaker 1: by the election of the nation's first black president. I
- 34:42Speaker 1: disagree fervently with the people on our side of the
- 34:46Speaker 1: eye who say, I hope he succeeds. We've got to
- 34:50Speaker 1: give him a chance. I don't want this to work.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I hope he fails. Well, Barack Obama, course didn't fail.
- 34:58Speaker 1: He was reelected in tw he told by an even
- 35:00Speaker 1: bigger marjor and Rush. Limbaugh was seventy years old. President
- 35:03Speaker 1: Trump credits Limbo was getting him elected and finally sad news.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Legendary Detroit TV anchor Karen Hudson Samuels has died. Karen
- 35:10Speaker 1: Samuels a pioneer and giving black Motor City residents a
- 35:13Speaker 1: voice in local media. She helped establish a museum that
- 35:16Speaker 1: details the legacy of the first TV station owned and
- 35:19Speaker 1: operated in this country by African Americans, w GPR TV
- 35:23Speaker 1: sixty two. Karen Samuels was sixty eight years old. Now
- 35:26Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show, Hey,
- 35:31Speaker 1: everybody has promised we got a special guest this morning.
- 35:34Speaker 1: This brother to made history as the longest running cast
- 35:37Speaker 1: member on Saturday Night Live. He'd been on SNL since
- 35:41Speaker 1: two thousand and three. Whoa, and that's amazing. During that time,
- 35:46Speaker 1: he's made a lot of fun, a lot of fun
- 35:49Speaker 1: making fun of me on Little Family. And he's good
- 35:53Speaker 1: at it's great at it. Always sad. When I saw him,
- 35:56Speaker 1: I was gonna whip his ass jump on me. But
- 36:00Speaker 1: I love him and we've been friends so long, and
- 36:03Speaker 1: he was so good at it, I figured, hell, he
- 36:06Speaker 1: keeping me relevant, so I let that slide. But get
- 36:10Speaker 1: a load of this man. He's got an all new
- 36:12Speaker 1: show on NBC right the sitcom. It's appropriately named. It's
- 36:16Speaker 1: called Keenan. We're gonna find out about the show, Ladies
- 36:20Speaker 1: and gentlemen. One of the most talented brothers in the
- 36:22Speaker 1: business today. Please welcome my friend, Keenan Thompson. Welcome. Good
- 36:31Speaker 1: with y'all, What is good with y'all? Thank you for
- 36:33Speaker 1: that man, Look, bro, when you've been doing it this
- 36:37Speaker 1: long Saturday Night Live cast, Remember that loan. That's that's
- 36:41Speaker 1: some legendary status there, boy and man man. Praise God.
- 36:46Speaker 1: You know God is good? Yeah, yeah. I mean, you know,
- 36:50Speaker 1: I've been very blessed to be able to sit to
- 36:52Speaker 1: it this long no and still be able to kind
- 36:54Speaker 1: of pulled up with duty while I'm shooting my show
- 36:56Speaker 1: at the same time, Like, you know, I feel like
- 36:59Speaker 1: you let you on me a long time ago. Get
- 37:01Speaker 1: every check they offered you. So that's when I'm doing
- 37:06Speaker 1: at Hey, Man, now you just add NBC. It's called
- 37:12Speaker 1: You're a Single Dad. The host of a morning TV
- 37:15Speaker 1: show called Wake Up with Keenan. I wonder where you
- 37:19Speaker 1: got that from. You know, it's just look, man Aventure,
- 37:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna to get a check out of this. Tell
- 37:25Speaker 1: us more about damn, tell us more about it. Man
- 37:31Speaker 1: morning show. It's the number two morning show in Atlanta,
- 37:34Speaker 1: and I'm the host of that. But yeah, I'm just
- 37:37Speaker 1: balancing my life basically after going through a tragedy of
- 37:41Speaker 1: losing my wife and I still have my two girls
- 37:43Speaker 1: to raise. So my father in law kind of came
- 37:46Speaker 1: down to help me out in the beginning and he
- 37:48Speaker 1: just ended up never leaving. And that's played by Don
- 37:52Speaker 1: Johnson and got it great. You know that year it's incredible, man,
- 37:58Speaker 1: Don is you know, he's an actors actor, so he's
- 38:01Speaker 1: still a regular dude. You know, he just wants to
- 38:03Speaker 1: talk about, you know, being professional and like telling me
- 38:06Speaker 1: stories about the good old eighties in Miami. Man, he
- 38:09Speaker 1: got endless, endless good stories. Yeah, he's playing my father
- 38:13Speaker 1: in law, not really helping like he thinks he is.
- 38:15Speaker 1: He's kind of just in my way. And then uh,
- 38:18Speaker 1: Chris Read you know, Chicago's own Chris Red is playing
- 38:21Speaker 1: my brother, um, my good brother actually in real life
- 38:24Speaker 1: from SNL, so he's playing my brother slash manager. And
- 38:28Speaker 1: between the two of them, nuckleheads, they basically are just
- 38:32Speaker 1: giving me all the headaches in the world. But you know,
- 38:34Speaker 1: it's also the love that those two little girls need
- 38:36Speaker 1: to be raised around and stuff like that, and then
- 38:39Speaker 1: balancing that work life relationship. Basically, Hey man, hold that
- 38:43Speaker 1: thought right there, because we want to hear more about this.
- 38:45Speaker 1: We got Keena Thompson. Everybody, we'll be back hear more
- 38:47Speaker 1: about the new show on NBC. Uh, Carl Keenan, We'll
- 38:51Speaker 1: be right back, Yes, indeed, all right, y'all, we're back
- 38:59Speaker 1: with Keena Thompson. He's got a new show on NBC
- 39:02Speaker 1: called Keenan, and we were just talking about it. Kenan
- 39:06Speaker 1: has a. He has a morning show TV called a
- 39:10Speaker 1: morning show. Excuse me, I'm sorry. He's the host of
- 39:14Speaker 1: a morning TV show called Wake Up with Gather and
- 39:17Speaker 1: he's got two daughters. His wife passed. He's dealing with that,
- 39:21Speaker 1: and he asked his father in law, Rick, who is
- 39:24Speaker 1: played by Don Johnson, to move in and help. And so,
- 39:30Speaker 1: you know, an older man with two daughters. Ain't really
- 39:32Speaker 1: know him. Yeah, I asked him to come by and
- 39:38Speaker 1: help for a little bit. I ain't asking the mooth bed.
- 39:40Speaker 1: He just ended up moving. Now, hey, ken let me
- 39:45Speaker 1: answer this man. Because on a lot of shows, you know,
- 39:47Speaker 1: the children often think they're smarter than their parents. But
- 39:50Speaker 1: in Keenan, your daughters are really helping you hold things
- 39:55Speaker 1: together on this show. Yeah, I mean, it's definitely a
- 39:58Speaker 1: showcasing a smarter than you give them credit for it
- 40:01Speaker 1: for sure, especially when they get to their age. And
- 40:04Speaker 1: I just love my daughters on the show. They're real sisters.
- 40:07Speaker 1: You know. They're from Atlanta their year apart, and they
- 40:10Speaker 1: just couldn't be sweeter, you know. And I've watched them
- 40:12Speaker 1: mature very very rapidly. They remind me of me and
- 40:16Speaker 1: cal when we was running around underneath you and said
- 40:18Speaker 1: back in the day, getting on y'all nerves. That was
- 40:24Speaker 1: because that's how I met Keenan. It was Keenan Kale
- 40:27Speaker 1: and they came on our show, on The Steve Harvey Show. Yeah, man,
- 40:32Speaker 1: and cut loose boy. The moment we had was off camera,
- 40:36Speaker 1: a man, what the hell y'all doing? This is how
- 40:41Speaker 1: y'all's asses too much? Man? I remember I stopped you
- 40:45Speaker 1: from pulling out the parking lot like the first night
- 40:48Speaker 1: and made you roll down the window like, hey, man,
- 40:50Speaker 1: what you're listening to some Doctor Drea and something. He's
- 40:52Speaker 1: like a little boy, back up off my car. I
- 40:56Speaker 1: don't listen to no damn rap music. Man. We were
- 41:00Speaker 1: just so eager and excited to be in the mix, man.
- 41:03Speaker 1: But we learned so much from y'all, man, and I'm
- 41:05Speaker 1: definitely putting it to you right now, so I can't
- 41:08Speaker 1: thank you enough. What's what's the transition, like, man, from
- 41:12Speaker 1: going from Saturday Night Live to the sitcom? What is it?
- 41:15Speaker 1: A big difference? Yeah, it's a huge difference, MANU. It's
- 41:19Speaker 1: just two different approaches. Like the sitcom is. You know,
- 41:23Speaker 1: I come in and I gotta be ready to give
- 41:25Speaker 1: and deliver all day, every day, basically Saturday night. I
- 41:28Speaker 1: just save it up, you know for eleven thirty on Saturday.
- 41:32Speaker 1: But you know, we work hard up until that moment.
- 41:34Speaker 1: But it's a little more chilled throughout the week, like
- 41:37Speaker 1: the sitcom is. Like every day you're coming in, they're
- 41:40Speaker 1: spending money, so there's no time to win. Yeah, and
- 41:45Speaker 1: you're the star of the show, so it's not like
- 41:47Speaker 1: it's not a lot of scenes that you're not gonna
- 41:50Speaker 1: be in. Exactly, I'm in ninety nine point nine nine
- 41:54Speaker 1: percent of things. But you know, they squeeze me out
- 41:56Speaker 1: of something, let me come in later or something like that,
- 41:59Speaker 1: you know, but I ain't sinssily had a whole day
- 42:01Speaker 1: off that everybody else has a had off. So it
- 42:04Speaker 1: is what it is. I can't be mad. It's all black.
- 42:08Speaker 1: I mean, congratulations, man, I mean that's you know, to
- 42:11Speaker 1: be in the business this long as you have and
- 42:14Speaker 1: to still be working and still be relevant, that's a
- 42:17Speaker 1: real testament to your talent, man, because you just can't
- 42:21Speaker 1: stand this game without the talent, you know, and to change. Man,
- 42:25Speaker 1: if you're super talented, you a legend on Saturday Night Live.
- 42:29Speaker 1: You've done so many shows, you got the new show.
- 42:31Speaker 1: It adds everybody Tuesday night, so don't miss it. This
- 42:35Speaker 1: coming Tuesday, eight thirty Eastern, seven thirty Central only on
- 42:40Speaker 1: NBC is called Keenan. Keenan Thompson going to make that money. Player. Well,
- 42:45Speaker 1: wait a minute before we leave. Let you know, let's
- 42:48Speaker 1: let Keenan tell them when the show was gonna add impression.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Let's do it that way, Let's do it. That permission
- 42:59Speaker 1: is that Yes you can, sir, Yes you can? Okay, okay, cool,
- 43:04Speaker 1: all right. Just so y'all know my show, Keenan, my
- 43:08Speaker 1: good friend show. It's coming on Tuesday at eight thirty
- 43:13Speaker 1: only on NBC. It's sometimes on Peacock, but mainly on NBC.
- 43:20Speaker 1: So check them out. Player, That's what I'm talking about.
- 43:25Speaker 1: There you go, Katy, Hey Kee, this time I'm gonna
- 43:30Speaker 1: let you go. I'm kicking Tom's ass. Afternoon. Hey, congratulations, man,
- 43:36Speaker 1: I love you boy a man, Thank you man, love
- 43:38Speaker 1: you too, my brother. I love y'all, appreciate ya, thank you,
- 43:45Speaker 1: thank you. You're listening. Show coming up at the top
- 43:51Speaker 1: of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my
- 43:53Speaker 1: strawberry letter for today. The subject is my brother's mistress
- 43:57Speaker 1: is my girlfriend. We'll get into that little later. Okay,
- 44:03Speaker 1: this letter marinade on that, but right now it's time
- 44:07Speaker 1: for the nephew and today's praying phone call. What you
- 44:09Speaker 1: got for us, nap. Let's do a little shoplifting before
- 44:13Speaker 1: we get to that letter. Just a little bit of shoplifting. Okay, yeah,
- 44:17Speaker 1: some shoplifting. That's right, that's the title. Let's go care. Hello. Yes,
- 44:25Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a Tanya. Please, Hi, Tanya. My
- 44:30Speaker 1: name is Daniel from the head of store security here
- 44:33Speaker 1: at your job. Yeah, listen, I'm trying to see Um,
- 44:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to I know today's your day off.
- 44:40Speaker 1: I'm looking at the schedule here. It seems that you
- 44:42Speaker 1: don't come back in until Saturday. I'm trying to see
- 44:45Speaker 1: if it's possible I can get you to come to
- 44:47Speaker 1: the store. There's a bit of a situation I want
- 44:50Speaker 1: to discuss with you. There's about eighteen hundred dollars worth
- 44:53Speaker 1: of merchandise missing from the store. Yeah, it's about eighteen
- 44:58Speaker 1: hundred dollars worth of merchandise. And we definitely know that
- 45:00Speaker 1: this is a in house situation. This is not someone
- 45:03Speaker 1: walking in shoplifting. This is definitely an in house situation
- 45:08Speaker 1: with employees who have evidently been shoplifting from the store,
- 45:12Speaker 1: taking things, and we want to get down to the
- 45:15Speaker 1: to the roots of the problem. Okay, well, ma'am, it's uh,
- 45:20Speaker 1: it's been brought to my attention that there's a possibility
- 45:23Speaker 1: that you may be part of this situation. And I
- 45:30Speaker 1: ain't thief. I don't steal. You don't call my house
- 45:34Speaker 1: accusing me. Is still I stole listing from nobody? Okay, Well,
- 45:38Speaker 1: my hangar man, what I'm trying to do is just
- 45:40Speaker 1: trying to you, trying to say out and stole something
- 45:44Speaker 1: and I stole them. Okay, wait just a second, now here,
- 45:48Speaker 1: do you have a sister named Cynthia? Yeah, what about it? Well, now,
- 45:52Speaker 1: it seems that here on some of the footage that
- 45:55Speaker 1: we have on camera, that it's a possibility that it
- 45:59Speaker 1: seems like you're s's actually wearing some of the merchandise
- 46:02Speaker 1: that we sell here in the store. Okay, just because
- 46:05Speaker 1: she wears something that we sell in the store, don't
- 46:08Speaker 1: mean that I stole it. Well, we don't see where
- 46:12Speaker 1: she's act. I backed the footage up as far as
- 46:15Speaker 1: I could. I don't see any footage of where she
- 46:17Speaker 1: purchased this particular merchandise, and my assumption is maybe you
- 46:21Speaker 1: gave it to her. I gave her And just because
- 46:25Speaker 1: you don't see what somebody purchased it don't mean that
- 46:27Speaker 1: it's been stolen. Okay, here's what I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 46:31Speaker 1: just get to the chase of this, Tanya. What I'm
- 46:33Speaker 1: gonna have to do is this if I can't get
- 46:36Speaker 1: you to come to the store. Man. And matter of fact,
- 46:39Speaker 1: here's another question for you before I go any further.
- 46:41Speaker 1: You have children at all? Tanya? Yeah? I got children, wife?
- 46:46Speaker 1: Do you Is it possible? Because I'm missing a lot
- 46:49Speaker 1: of baby merchandise as well? And you know what, you
- 46:53Speaker 1: know what you really cruising for this morning? Okay, because
- 46:58Speaker 1: you don't call somebody on the off day accusing them
- 47:01Speaker 1: of stealing. Okay, here's what I gotta do. Are you
- 47:04Speaker 1: coming into the office so I can talk with you.
- 47:07Speaker 1: I'm not coming no where on my off day. Well,
- 47:11Speaker 1: then what's gonna happen, miss Tanya, is I'm gonna have
- 47:14Speaker 1: to actually come to your home, check your closet. I'm
- 47:17Speaker 1: gonna have to check your kids and see if they're
- 47:20Speaker 1: what check and see if they're wearing merchandise that comes
- 47:22Speaker 1: from this. Come to my house if you want to,
- 47:25Speaker 1: and they gonna take your somebody here in nobody back.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Excuse me me. You heard what I said. You heard
- 47:31Speaker 1: what I said. You don't call nobody. I bust my
- 47:34Speaker 1: death store. I bust my to death store. You understand me.
- 47:38Speaker 1: I work hard for y'all. Okay, you've been busting you.
- 47:41Speaker 1: You've been busting you car here excusing me of stealing.
- 47:45Speaker 1: I ain't so from nobody. I don't have to steal.
- 47:48Speaker 1: That's why I work all that. You understand. I think
- 47:50Speaker 1: you've been busting your butt. Taking stuff is what you've
- 47:53Speaker 1: been doing. You've been from nobody. You understand me. I
- 47:58Speaker 1: do not steal. I'm gonna call I'm over there. I'm
- 48:01Speaker 1: checking your closets things, but it ain't no cease, you understand.
- 48:04Speaker 1: And I'm checking your babies as well. And I'm making
- 48:07Speaker 1: check my babies and see what happens. You put your
- 48:09Speaker 1: heads on any damn thing in here, and see what happens. Okay,
- 48:13Speaker 1: I don't want to have to drag your butt here.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Oh you're gonna drag somebody. Oh, now, you threatening me.
- 48:19Speaker 1: I don't want to drag by of your house. Security guy.
- 48:22Speaker 1: You tough security guy. You like your job that much
- 48:24Speaker 1: you're willing to die for that? Huh? Who said anything
- 48:27Speaker 1: about me? Die? I did come over here, and that's
- 48:30Speaker 1: what's gonna happen. That's what happens when you put people
- 48:33Speaker 1: on the off days, you get hurt. Okay, I get
- 48:36Speaker 1: a couple of damn days off, and y'all gonna call
- 48:39Speaker 1: me with this one. So are you threatening me? Now?
- 48:42Speaker 1: I'm threatening you. Then you just call and say you
- 48:44Speaker 1: was coming over here. Yes, I did bring you. I'm
- 48:49Speaker 1: doing security guys. I'm all, don't let me tell you something. Okay,
- 48:54Speaker 1: I'm getting you. I can have you brought up on charges.
- 48:57Speaker 1: You know that, Bring me up on charges and see
- 49:00Speaker 1: what happens. Want you to see if you get that first.
- 49:03Speaker 1: I'm on my way over there now to check you.
- 49:05Speaker 1: When your kids. You understand me, I'm over here to
- 49:08Speaker 1: check me and my kids and see how they checked you.

- 49:20Speaker 1: me what you took. Maybe I'll go light on you.

- 49:25Speaker 1: like a damn food. Why don't you tell me what

- 54:18Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. All right, thank you, nephew.
- 54:22Speaker 1: We've been waiting for this one. Subject. My brother's mistress
- 54:26Speaker 1: is my girlfriend, Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a forty two
- 54:29Speaker 1: year old single man, and I have a good job
- 54:32Speaker 1: and my own place. My brother is a married man
- 54:36Speaker 1: with three children and many mistresses. He always brings his
- 54:40Speaker 1: mistresses to gatherings with the boys, and I told him
- 54:44Speaker 1: that's probably not a good idea because most of them
- 54:46Speaker 1: are bad and the boys try to holler at them.
- 54:50Speaker 1: I talked to him many times about the cheating, because
- 54:53Speaker 1: he's always using me as his alibi. Two months ago,
- 54:57Speaker 1: I was out with my brother and one of his
- 54:59Speaker 1: miss stresses was there. She was six feet tall, with
- 55:04Speaker 1: an all natural looking big booty, flat stomach, juicy chest,
- 55:09Speaker 1: and pearly white teeth. She didn't have a makeup or lashes,
- 55:13Speaker 1: and it was like love at first sight for me.
- 55:16Speaker 1: I spent the whole night getting to know her, and
- 55:19Speaker 1: my brother didn't seem to care. After a few drinks,
- 55:23Speaker 1: she asked me if my brother is married. I told
- 55:25Speaker 1: her the truth. She confessed about spending a weekend with
- 55:28Speaker 1: him out of town and said she's only dealing with
- 55:31Speaker 1: him because he's paying for some car repairs for her.
- 55:34Speaker 1: I got her number and we went to dinner and
- 55:36Speaker 1: she came back to my place, but nothing happened. We've
- 55:40Speaker 1: been inseparable for the past month, and whenever my brother
- 55:43Speaker 1: calls her, she rushes him off the phone. I asked
- 55:47Speaker 1: her why she's still dealing with him, and she said
- 55:50Speaker 1: it's just until her car is fixed. I offered to
- 55:53Speaker 1: give her half the money, but she declined it and
- 55:57Speaker 1: said it's the least he can do. I'm fused as
- 56:00Speaker 1: to why she still talks to him and she's willing
- 56:03Speaker 1: to take his money. If something's going on, she needs
- 56:06Speaker 1: to be honest. My brother will find out and due time.
- 56:09Speaker 1: But I need to be sure she's not playing both
- 56:11Speaker 1: of us. What do you think is really going on
- 56:13Speaker 1: with this woman? Well? I do think she's playing both
- 56:17Speaker 1: of you. I mean, why not your brother, because you know,
- 56:21Speaker 1: I'm sure the sex is good and the excitement of
- 56:23Speaker 1: it all. I don't think the money is that big
- 56:26Speaker 1: of a factor because it can't be. I mean, he's
- 56:29Speaker 1: just paying for her car repairs. It's not like it's
- 56:33Speaker 1: a brand new car or anything. And really, how long
- 56:37Speaker 1: how long does it take to get your car repairs?
- 56:40Speaker 1: Seems like her car has been repaired for a long
- 56:43Speaker 1: long time. Here all right, And as far as you go,
- 56:47Speaker 1: she knows you like her. She knew you liked her
- 56:49Speaker 1: from the first moment you guys met so and she
- 56:52Speaker 1: knows she can have you too. So why not. I mean,
- 56:54Speaker 1: I think it's double standard with men and women, of
- 56:57Speaker 1: course I know that, but don't judge her too harshly
- 57:00Speaker 1: because you're wrong too. You're wrong. You're going behind your
- 57:04Speaker 1: brother's back and seeing his side piece. Come on, now,
- 57:07Speaker 1: I know you said your brother's married and didn't mind
- 57:10Speaker 1: that you talked to her all night when you first
- 57:12Speaker 1: met her, But most men are pretty very territorial, and
- 57:17Speaker 1: I just can't see him being happy when he finds
- 57:19Speaker 1: out about you getting with his mistress. It just doesn't
- 57:23Speaker 1: make sense. I mean, I know you said he has
- 57:24Speaker 1: a lot of mistresses and all of that, but if
- 57:28Speaker 1: he finds out you're with her, this can't be end
- 57:31Speaker 1: up pretty. So you need to figure that part out.
- 57:34Speaker 1: And here's a question. Is she worth as six feet tall,
- 57:39Speaker 1: big booty, flat stomach, pearly white teeth woman. Is she
- 57:43Speaker 1: worth causing problems in you and your brother's relationship? I
- 57:47Speaker 1: say no. I mean, I say no. I say no.
- 57:50Speaker 1: There are too many beautiful women in the world. Go
- 57:53Speaker 1: get one of them. Leave your brother's mistress alone. Steve, Wow, Oh,
- 58:03Speaker 1: surely that's not the answer I have. It's a lot
- 58:07Speaker 1: in this letter. You're right on several levels here, but
- 58:12Speaker 1: not being a man, I understand, but I'm gonna look
- 58:17Speaker 1: at this from another angle because the blame lies in
- 58:22Speaker 1: a few places. Yeah, ok so let's start there. My
- 58:27Speaker 1: boyfriend's mistress is my girlfriend. Not. Here's a problem with
- 58:33Speaker 1: that statement. If the brother, I'm sorry. If your brother's
- 58:39Speaker 1: mistress is your girlfriend, then let me start right here.
- 58:45Speaker 1: I'm afforded to year old single man. Okay, got a
- 58:48Speaker 1: good job in your own place. Why are you single?
- 58:52Speaker 1: Throwing me a little bit with Okay, you all that
- 58:56Speaker 1: you know you ain't gonna business being. My brother is
- 58:59Speaker 1: a married man with three children and many mistresses. This
- 59:03Speaker 1: is the key to this whole thing, Shelley. Many mistresses,
- 59:08Speaker 1: and he brings them to all the gatherings with y'all boys.
- 59:11Speaker 1: And you told him it probably ain't a good idea
- 59:15Speaker 1: because most of them is bad. I'm talking de some
- 59:18Speaker 1: fine girl and your boys try to hol at him. Now.
- 59:23Speaker 1: You didn't talk to him about the cheating because he
- 59:25Speaker 1: keep using you as alibody. And two months ago you
- 59:28Speaker 1: was out with your brother. One of his mistresses was there. Y'all. Old,
- 59:33Speaker 1: y'all go out a lot, y'all need to stay your
- 59:35Speaker 1: ass home for starters. Are they some years old? Always out.
- 59:39Speaker 1: She's six feet tall, all natural booty, flat stomach, juicy chests,
- 59:43Speaker 1: pearly white teeth. Okay, I got you, I got y'all
- 59:45Speaker 1: know that love at first sight for most people. She
- 59:49Speaker 1: find him. Thank you got it. So when we come back,
- 59:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what got you, and then I'm
- 59:58Speaker 1: gonna tell you a few other things. All right, we'll
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: have part two of Steve's responds coming up for twenty
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour. My brother's mistress is my girlfriend?
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Is a subject back after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter. We love this subject.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: My brother's mistress is my girlfriend. Let's go all right.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: We got this forty two year old man that's single,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: he got a brother that's married with three kids, and
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: he got a lot of mistresses, which is gonna be
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: the key to this whole thing. And he always brings
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: his mistresses to the gathering with the boys. See, he's
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: an exhibitionist. He like everybody know, he's still a gutted
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: showing out you' you ain't really supposed to do that
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: at all, but you know, he want to show he's
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: still got it. He's swinging with the fellas. He know
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: they'd be gawking at him and everything because the CHICKSI
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: bringing around is bad. You told him it ain't a
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: good idea because the boys try to haul at him,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: and you don't talk to him about the cheating, cause
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: he always used as an alibi. All right. So one
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: night you go out with your brother and one of
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: his side pieces was there, one of his many mistresses.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: But this one caught your eye. She had all natural,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: big booty, six feet tall, flat stomach, juicy chest, pearly
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: white teeth. She didn't have on, no makeup or lashes,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: and for you, it was love at first sight. Okay,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I got you. I got you. That you, Jessica Rabbit
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: was at the damn party and you saw her. I
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: got you, all right. I spent the whole night getting
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: to know her, and my brother didn't seem to care. Well,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: let's cause your brother was out trying to get a
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: few more mistresses. That's what he went out for. Yeah,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: he wasn't exactly counting on her to be there. So
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: if he didn't care that you was talking to her,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: he making moves. He moving around the club, that's what
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: he'd do. Now. After a few drinks, she asked you
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: if your brother was married. What she asked you? Your
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: brother married? You told her the truth. She already knew
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: this dog, because number one, why don't she get upset?
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: What he's married? What? None of that? All she did
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: was confirmed me with you, and what no get upset?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: She confessed after spending the week Now, why would she
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: tell you this part? You know, if she found out
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: your brother was married and didn't get upset, and then
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: she told you she confessed about spending the weekend with
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: him out of town, and she said she's only dealing
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: with him because he's paying for some car repass for her.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: So then you got a number, and y'all went to
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: dinner and she came back to my place. Nothing happened.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: We've been inseparable for the past month. And whatever my
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: brother calls, she rushed him off the phone. I asked
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: her why she's still dealing with him, and she said,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: it's just until her car's fixed. Now, surely asked the question,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: why is it taking so damn long to get this
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: damn car fixed? And I figured it out. Shelly it's
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: called she got four five calls, a lot of cars. Yeah,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: she needs all of them fixed. Yeah, she know it's
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: time for tuning up. You know, she's been a mistress before.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: That's how she got all them calls. And so she
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: got several calls, and he gotta get fixed all of
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: them this week, was tuned up for one of them.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Got to get in for a service check next week.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Then she got to get the other one. Then all change,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: you know. Then otherm gotta get their ties rotated. They're
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: gonna take them off, get all these cars fixed. Plus
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: he gotta he gotta work this money out because he
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: gotta piece meal a lot of money because he got
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: three kids back in the house. He ain't rich. So yeah,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: she got a fleet. So now, and so I offered
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: to give her half the money, but she declined and
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: said it to lead. He can do well if a
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: man is still paying. The only reason a married man
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: is still paying is because he's still playing. Yes, So
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: now you and your girl that's been unseparable, is still
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: dealing with him. You don't just get the money off
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: of Hey, how you doing link Uh no, No, So
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: she's still dealing with your brother. But when you're over there.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: She rushed him off the phone. I'm confused as to
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: why she still talks and is willing to take his
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: money because she got to keep servicing him to get
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: the money. Bro, what's wrong with you? Same reason you
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: offer to pay half, you're willing to pay half? Why
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: because the natchal booty and the juicy chests and the
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: pearly white flash stomach six feet tall got you digging
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: in your pocket? Don't give it down? And if she
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: put that makeup lashes on? Who? Who? What? We're dealing
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: with him? So now she wouldn't take it? If something
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: going on? She needs honest, honest dog? What are you
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: asking for you? This chick has no morals. She's dating
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: a married man that she knows is married. You confirmed it.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: She didn't get upset. She's still talking to the married
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: man because of money, and now she talking to you
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: because you didn't offer money. She needs to be honest?
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: But how are you stupid? Are you just what you want? Player?
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: My brother will find out in due time, okay, but
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I need to be sure she's not playing both of us,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: she or one of y'all. Boy, that don't make you
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: no damn difference, y'all been a separable and you know
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: that man and she got two suckers on the hook.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: And is you and your brother now? If you think
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Chief going to be true to you, go ahead take
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: a shot, as long as your brothers fixing them calls.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: All right, listen, Thank you. Leave your comments on Today's
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: letter on Instagram at Steve Harvey FM. Check out the

- 1:07:05Speaker 1: do dirty baby, So you know Valentine's happened right Sunday, right,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: that's right. So I'm gonna tell you how I went down.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna tall. First of all, I know y'all don't
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: think it was gonna happen, but it happens. What happened?
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: What do you mean, chryl me and Junior? Oh, it happened. Happened. Yeah,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: that's why I ain't at work. Let me tell you, yes, yes, yes, oh,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: let me tell you how I went down Steve hobbing
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: o hero. I knew it was gonna be a night
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: of love because I walked in. The lights was off,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: maybe the weather electricity, but the lights was low. Right.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: I walked in calling for RELs, and I knew what
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: was happening because Barry White playing your game Baby was
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: on the concette player not my lord, my Lord, my Lord, Errol,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: my Lord, and timing I smelled the baby. All that
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Junior had heated up in a fun dude plot, Shell
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: and Colin were slid all over to that house he
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: should have placed slipping in the darkness, because that's what.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Then the gifts that that Junior gave me, tom Me listen, man,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I know he in love. First he gave me a
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: portable metal wing stand wig stand. Why because as soon
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: as I walked then he jumped on me so hard
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: the wig flew off and it was thirty five dollars
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: worth of synthetic hair on the floor, just like that,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: just like that synthetic. Then he gave me a hitting pad,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: Steve harmit because he knew he was about to blow
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: my back out, So I had to get propel what
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: I'm so in love, just tearful. My cousin Gladys work
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: at the dispatch over Amazon Claudas and candy was coming,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: so she had already put the word out. Oh hell yeah.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: It was so many gifts coming that I was hanging
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: off the side of the Amazon delivery van like like
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: James Earl Jones in Claudine. Hey, you better say it alright,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: like say, happy Violentie Day to my love. Junior. You
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: made my love come down, baby, James Jones. We gotta
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: call hour coming up. At the top of the hour,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: we'll have Reality Update with Carla right after this. You're listening,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: all right, Tommy, come on, Let's introduce that girl. She's ready,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: she's back. Let's go, let's go. She is here. It's
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Carla Ferrell with what Reality up? Yeah, yeah, thank you, few,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: thank you. Share the girl. Steve. Here we go. Let's
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: talk about Real Housewives of Atlanta. So the ladies are
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: so oball Kenya as being the host of this girl's
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: trip to South Carolina. This is the longest trip ever.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: But from travel arrangements to the room assignment beef with
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Marlowe ordering a crab cake sandwich just for her, not
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: the rest of the guests that and not really even
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: wanting to just hang out with the ladies and have
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: fun and play games with their pj's. She just wanted
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: to be with her daughter one night. And that reason
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: was not good enough for Candy because all of the
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: majority of the women in this particular group, this particular season,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: they all have babies. They all have young babies, young infant,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: toddlered little girls, and so they feel like, well, we
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: left for our babies to come on this trip that
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: you're hosting, but then you diss us one night to
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: go be, you know, with you with your baby son. Candy,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: she tried to talk to Kenya, and Kenya broke down
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: and she admitted that she's really having a hard time
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: holding it all together, you know, Shirley dealing with a
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: divorce from her husband Mark. Oh yeah, yeah. So Kenya asked,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: you're right, yes, yes, So she admitted to that. So
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: she asked Candy and the new friend to the show, LaToya,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: to take over the hosting duties, if you will, of
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: the trip. So, uh, during this episode, you know Porsche,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: during this particular season, you got to see Porsche, she
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: you know, being involved and and marching for justice for
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Brianna Taylor. They showed Porsche doing that. So they got
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: to watch the actual news footage of the grand jury
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: verdict of you remember when that happened. How disappointed that
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: we were no justice, and so you got to see
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Porsche talk about that. She was hurt, she was upset,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: you know, Porscha was arrested. She stood firm and marching
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: with the family, and the lady's just talked about, you know,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: the lack of justice for Brianna Taylor being black women
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: in this country. So it was it was a deep moment.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: But then later on the ladies went to dinner and
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Drew the new cast made up the show. She tried
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: to talk to Kenya and tell her about the mood
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: of the trip and how it's negative and she doesn't
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: understand how y'all just be beef in one minute, y'all
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: cool the next She's like she's trying to figure all
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: that off, Kenya went off again after dinner. It's like,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: what's going on? So next week, get ready Cynthia's surprise
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: bachelorette party hosted by Candy. Oh you know what's going
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: you know, come on if it's a surprise, how y'all
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: already know? Well, that was a promo to promote it
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: for next week, and no, and then the show. Candy
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: got the ladies some lingerie and different outfits. Sythia somewhere
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: that boy right now, her husband. You gotta have your
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: boy your mind right when you go up in there,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: hatch all to Todd, a bad boy, Candy hardest man
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: of the yell I gave Todd man, ye man, she'd
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: be advertising swings and stuff, hanging out. Boy, Todd gotta
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: be a bad man. A man Todd is Man of
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: the Year from Uncle Steve. Go ahead, Todd, Candy's husband quickly,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna switch gears to talk about The Bachelor. You know.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: The host of reality competition dating show The Bachelor, Chris Harrison.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: He is stepping away from the show for a while.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: This comes after controversy over his defense of a white contestant.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Her name is Rachel Kirk. Conall photos of her attending
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: an anti Bellum before the Civil War type plantation sorority party.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: So he kind of defended those pictures. This happened back
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: in twenty eighteen. Well, you gotta keep in mind this
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: season on The Bachelor, the Bachelor is a brother for
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: the first time, Matt James. So step aside, period peace.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Chris Harrison trying to defend those pictures. All right, that's
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: reality update. You can hit me up at Lipspark, Carla
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: on the ground which you got, Shirley. All right, coming
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show at twenty
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: minutes after. Thank you, Carla. Right after this. You're listening
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: to the show. So you guys are familiar with Birkenstock shoes, right,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: They're not sexy, they're just comfortable. They're you know, not cute,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: but them. Yeah, they're called Birkenstock. Well, anyway, we all
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: know about the well you heard of this, Steve. They're
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: like um sandals, take at big buckles on them. They're
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: just comfortable shoes. Well, for lack of a better that
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: if you can identify with earth shoes, yeah maybe you
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: can say they're similar. But I know you know this.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: We all know about the Ermez broken bags. Well, a
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: super exclusive new shoe is out and it's at Birkenstock
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: style sandal. It's made from destroyed birken bags. Okay, the
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: shoes are sold check out this price for between thirty
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: four and seventy six thousand dollars. Stop. And they're made
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: by request only. Okay, yes, Kylie, yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: your feet are out and just covered by some big
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: straps with some big buckles. Kylie Jenner, Kylie Jenner, you

- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Hers costs reportedly seventy five thousand dollars. All right, So
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: they are basic black pebbled leather Birkenstocks with the Ermez

- 1:16:07Speaker 1: you could just fantasize for a moment, would you buy
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: a pair of these shoes? Why would you do that
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: when you could get the damn bay We'll have more
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up thirty three
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: minutes after. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we go, time for
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: let's go. Marcus in Atlantic City says, recently, my fiance
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: lost a lot of weight, so she looks great, but
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: she has a flat butt. Her sister had weight loss
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: surgery and got a Brazilian butt lift, so my girl
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: wants one. Two. Her sister was at our house and
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: my fiance encouraged me to look at her butt and
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: feel it. I guess I got carried away and squeezed,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: did a little too much. My fiance got mad and
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: accused me of one to sleep with her sister. It's
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: just a butt, and she told me to feel on it.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: But the butt was plus, she soft, but I didn't
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: want her. How can I fix this? I don't want her? Well,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: you could stop lying about that, Marcus. What want you? Grab?
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: You want it? All that grabbed and stuff? Yeah, you
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: followed instruction, but it was But see what happen, Marcus
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: was you probably didn't realize it, but when you did it,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: you bait your bottom, lilp. That's what got you in trouble.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: When you sucked in your bottom, lilp. He made a noise.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: Oh I would have Yeah, he did this, This is
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: what he did right here, we're there. Yeah, that breathing
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: that's what cost you. That's all it is. Mark. I
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: can't help you, though, shouldn't ask your woman wants you
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: to grab nothing better than that? Now? And when is that?
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Chante and Gary, we're moving on, says My mother and
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: I have always had the worst relationship, and now that
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: I'm older, I can't stand her. She's been on drugs
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: for most of my life and the embarrassment the lives
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: and stealing from me has me bitter. She's been clean
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: for six years and I've helped her out whenever I can.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: She got saved and she's the very best Christian ever.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: She quotes scripture all day and tells me I'm going
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: to hell every five seconds. How can I be there
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: for her and work on our relationship without cursing her out? Well,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: you don't have to cuss out. But since she's the
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: best Christian ever, why don't you remind her of a
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: couple of things. There's some scriptures that if she's such
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: a great and wants to quote some scriptures you know
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: about not judging he who is without seeing cast the
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: first stone, you know, forgiveness, understanding, you know how you
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: don't you don't guide people into light by blowing out
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: what little candle they got. So now your mama and
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: got it together. Now everybody else hail bound. Has she forgotten?
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: But see, that's the problem with a lot of people
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: who become Christians, not all, but some They get saved
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: and all of a sudden they forget that they wasn't saved. Yeah, right,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: and other people do. And the only way to win
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: people over and convert people as Christian it's just let
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: your light shine. They can see the Jesus in you. Yeah,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: and you ain't got to tell nobody you're doing better.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: They can see it. You've been a junkie, your whole
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: damn life coming up. It is our last break of
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: the day, and of course Steve Harvey will have some
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: closing remarks at forty nine minutes after right after this.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, guys. Here we are last break
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: of the day on this Thursday. Um. Praying for everyone
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: that's affected by the winner storm, the heavy snowfall, the
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: icy power outages and water shut off. Be safe. Yeah,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: I think I feel like Trump is behind this whole
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: weather thing. How come I feel like this is his
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: fault too, I really do. I think he has something
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: to do with that too. The governor of Texas leadership
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: ineffective leadership is for sure, that's for sure. Wasn't there
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: people in a Texas town that said only the strong survive?
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: And he was tweeting out all this stuff, Um, Colorado City, Colorado. Yeah,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: he resigned. Yeah. I was like, Okay, that's not encouraging, hopeful.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: These people are without power, and that's what you have
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: to say to them, Only the strong survived. And a boy, oil, horrible,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: horrific what he said. It's just horrible to say that.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: I don't. I don't, I don't. I didn't hear what
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: he said. One of the things he said was only
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: the strong survive. Doing this mess that we got, doing
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: this whole weather situation to residence. Yeah, he called them lazy,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: saying they were looking for handouts. What are you talking about?
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: People need power in electricity? Oh oh oh, that's those
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: are the words of a man with a generator. Yeah,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: he said, he's perfectly tired of people looking for a handout. Um,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: no one owes you or your family anything, nor is
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: it the local government government's responsibility to support you during
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: trying times like this. Sink or swim, it's your choice.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: What see but right there? Yeah, God, but as he should.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: And yeah, that's you know, the Republican mantra is every
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: American should pull him up by their bootstraps. But that
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: when you take it that far, he's going pad goal.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: You know what I mean. It's just people, man, who
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: say stuff out loud. That's totally inconsiderate. Losing powers nobody's fault.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: The cold weather. It's hard to deal with. I don't
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: care if you hercules. You can be a WWFF wrestler
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: or NBA star. If you get hit with this cold
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: weather that has struck Texas and you are without a power,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: you are in a situation children don't don't can't deal
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: with stuff like this, you know, Steve, it's already hard
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: being poor. Yeah. Yeah. If you don't have electricity, you
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: step up and come up with a game plan to
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: keep your family warm and safe. If you're having no water,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: you deal with out and think outside of the box
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: to survive and supply water to your family. If you
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: were sitting at home in the cold because you have
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: no power and are sitting there waiting for someone to
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: come rescue you because you're lazy, is a direct result
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: of your raising that was that nothing you can do.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: That's what he said. That's nothing a class of people
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: who lost their power in electricity, that water and power.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: It has nothing to do with that. It's that it
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: was trying to privatize. And see but what you're just
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: saying right there, caller, what you just saying ineffective leadership.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Him in a leadership role saying stuff like this. See
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: this is this is an example of what happened when
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: people get in power who have never served people before,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: who has no clue what it's like to serve people,
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: to have a heart for what other people are going through.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: And the only way to have a heart for what
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: other people are going through is involve yourself with people
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: who offer didn't go through store. That gives you the
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: empathy that's necessary to become a great leader. That's what's
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: the whole problem with Trump. He's never had a rough
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: day in his life. His roughest day was filing bankruptcy.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Do you know what that means? You had something to
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: file for. Poor people can't file bankruptcy. They have nothing
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: to file for. And so you in a leadership or
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: capacity where you are in a governing position of people
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: who are people who need help sometimes. And it's not
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: that people are lazy and wouldn't pull themselves up, but
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: their bootstraps. The problem is if your boots ain't got
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: no straps, you have a problem with getting gripped. And
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: then your other problem is when you ain't got the
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: boots and if my boots are in four feet us
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: to know who there is nothing I can do. I'm sorry,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: but it's people like that go ahead. You know what
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: it is to see when we talked about before when Trump,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: when we was dealing with COVID and we were just
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: talking about leadership and leaders being honest with people. And
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: every time leaders are not honest, the truth comes out
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: later in disasters and things like that. So for the
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: whole thing in Texas, what has happened is the leadership
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: was not honest with the residents of the state of Texas.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: They did not prepare these power plants for this type
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: of storm because it doesn't happen in Texas that often.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: So when it doesn't happen, you kind of make these
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: residents think where we're good or everything that's going on.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Then when everything shuts down, everybody's like, well, what's going on?
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: We've had snowstorters, moorfire. Yes, we've had snowstorms in the
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: state of Texas before El Paso two thousand and eleven,
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: same thing, same thing. So you didn't learn from your
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: mistakes because you didn't care. You didn't care. They only
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: care about making money. That's it. That's right. They don't
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: care about helping people. That's part of their mantra. It
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: is not to help. That's why, that's why. That's why
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: Biden right now is struggling to get this big stimulus
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: package passed because he can't get the Republicans to go
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: along with it because they think it's too much money.
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: But it's too much, but the leadership doesn't want to
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: spend that much money, but the people need it. A
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: part of this package is to help small businesses. Yes, yeah, yeah,
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: he's got he's got a mess on his hands. He
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: really really does. All right, Steve, we gotta get out
