- 1:44Speaker 6: to turn the mouth, turn out the water the mon up.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Look me come come out.
- 1:59Speaker 7: You think that? Uh huh, I sure will that. Good
- 2:04Speaker 7: morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:08Speaker 7: now dig me one and only Steve Harvey Man oh man,
- 2:12Speaker 7: got a radio show.
- 2:14Speaker 2: The only way to find your real purpose, your real
- 2:17Speaker 2: mission in life.
- 2:18Speaker 7: You're real what for? The thing that you got to
- 2:21Speaker 7: go get it get after is you got to connect
- 2:24Speaker 7: with God. You have to connect with him because as
- 2:28Speaker 7: your creator, no one knows better what you were made
- 2:31Speaker 7: for than your maker. I mean not just I mean man,
- 2:38Speaker 7: and you just make a lot of common sense, don't it.
- 2:41Speaker 7: I mean really, you know, people kill me with the
- 2:46Speaker 7: lack of belief. I think that science is very real.
- 2:52Speaker 7: I think that science is very applicable. I think that
- 2:56Speaker 7: science helps us learn so many things. But science ain't everything. Now,
- 3:03Speaker 7: you might as well under that there's some unexplainables that
- 3:07Speaker 7: science can't wrap they mind around. So here they go
- 3:11Speaker 7: with something else, and then you got the nay sayers
- 3:14Speaker 7: who use that, the non believers who use that as
- 3:17Speaker 7: the proof that there is no high calling on how being.
- 3:20Speaker 7: And I listen to me, I don't really into explaining
- 3:25Speaker 7: all that way. If that's how you feel, then gone
- 3:27Speaker 7: and get the feeling how you feeling with it. But
- 3:29Speaker 7: let me explain something to you. I just don't see
- 3:32Speaker 7: how God is really almost unexplainable to me. So really
- 3:37Speaker 7: for me to sit here and try to explain, I'm
- 3:39Speaker 7: really not that good of a guy, you know what
- 3:41Speaker 7: I mean, I'm not that person. So let me try
- 3:44Speaker 7: to give you something real here. Okay, So this we done.
- 3:47Speaker 7: Just had that moment. I had to get that off
- 3:48Speaker 7: my chest.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I want, I want.
- 3:50Speaker 7: I want to share something with you about when you
- 3:54Speaker 7: strike out to find your mission, or how about when
- 3:59Speaker 7: you strut on your mission once you discover what your
- 4:04Speaker 7: purpose is, or let's simplify, what happens when you set
- 4:11Speaker 7: a goal.
- 4:13Speaker 2: And you're ready to strike out on that goal. What
- 4:15Speaker 2: happens when you.
- 4:19Speaker 7: Set an ambition in front of you or put something
- 4:22Speaker 7: in your sights that you want to attain that, you
- 4:24Speaker 7: want to become successful at what's the mind set that
- 4:29Speaker 7: you have to develop? There are three things you must
- 4:36Speaker 7: first ask, You must then believe, and you must then receive.
- 4:44Speaker 7: Now the received part, all these parts.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Has got a thing to it. You gotta ask. You
- 4:52Speaker 2: just got to ask for it.
- 4:54Speaker 7: You know you've heard the scripture before, you have not
- 4:56Speaker 7: because you ask not Why don't you ask? But then
- 5:01Speaker 7: after you ask, here's the kick. You got to believe
- 5:05Speaker 7: that it can happen for you. Stop looking at the
- 5:09Speaker 7: success of other people and not thinking that that same
- 5:12Speaker 7: success can happen for you. Then I'm not saying that
- 5:15Speaker 7: Pacific waye specific weight. I'm just saying that a success
- 5:20Speaker 7: can happen for you, just like it can happen for
- 5:23Speaker 7: somebody else. Why do you think it keeps happening to
- 5:25Speaker 7: other people over and over because they ask and they believe.
- 5:30Speaker 7: Now here's the cold part.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Receive it? Oh what you mean? Receive it? I ask
- 5:37Speaker 2: for it. I believe in it. Why would I not
- 5:39Speaker 2: want to receive it?
- 5:40Speaker 7: Act like it, Act like it's already there, behavior as
- 5:48Speaker 7: though you have it in your hands, Smile about it,
- 5:53Speaker 7: Realize that man, it's just days away, and how many
- 5:59Speaker 7: other days that is.
- 6:01Speaker 2: If it's days away, it's just days away.
- 6:05Speaker 7: We don't know if it's gonna happen tomorrow, next week,
- 6:07Speaker 7: in thirty days. We don't know if it's gonna take
- 6:10Speaker 7: a few years. But you got to receive it though.
- 6:15Speaker 7: You gotta ask, You got to believe, and you got
- 6:19Speaker 7: to receive it. You gotta act as though as that
- 6:22Speaker 7: now as another part now to this about work, you
- 6:25Speaker 7: don't please.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Faith with our works is dead.
- 6:28Speaker 7: Don't think you're gonna just ask for something believing and
- 6:30Speaker 7: then go sit down, start watching TV.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Come on, now, let's get real. Let's not leave out
- 6:35Speaker 2: the other jewel. You got to work.
- 6:38Speaker 7: But now here hear what I want you to know
- 6:42Speaker 7: about when you strike out on that mission, that the
- 6:47Speaker 7: journey that you strike out on to accomplish a goal
- 6:51Speaker 7: or to set out on the mission, the journey, if
- 6:55Speaker 7: you could understand this, or to help you so much,
- 6:58Speaker 7: the journey is a process. It's not an arrival date.
- 7:04Speaker 7: It's a process. All you're looking to do, folks, is
- 7:08Speaker 7: start the process. Get it started. Don't worry about the
- 7:16Speaker 7: arrival date. Act like it's there. The arrival date is coming.
- 7:23Speaker 7: But here is the beauty of the journey being a process.
- 7:29Speaker 7: But all along the way of your journey you will
- 7:33Speaker 7: find success.
- 7:36Speaker 2: The whole time you're on the journey, the whole time
- 7:41Speaker 2: you're in the.
- 7:42Speaker 7: Process of finding your mission, fulfilling your mission, uncovering your dreams,
- 7:47Speaker 7: reaching your goals. The beauty of it is all along
- 7:51Speaker 7: the way you're going to find success on so many levels.
- 7:57Speaker 7: And people fail to look at that part. They keep
- 8:01Speaker 7: thinking of themselves, Man, I ain't there yet, I ain't
- 8:05Speaker 7: you know. It's like when you take a little kid
- 8:06Speaker 7: on a long car tripping there in the back seat.
- 8:08Speaker 7: Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Boy? If
- 8:11Speaker 7: you just look out the window, see where we done being?
- 8:16Speaker 7: Look out the window, look at the mountains, Look at
- 8:19Speaker 7: these trees, look at the views we got. No, we
- 8:23Speaker 7: ain't there yet. But Lord have mercy, look at what
- 8:26Speaker 7: he's showing us along the way. Smell the roses, have
- 8:32Speaker 7: yourself a cup of coffee, chill every now and then,
- 8:36Speaker 7: and see what he's doing for you.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Because the journey is a process.
- 8:41Speaker 7: But man, know that in the process of arriving at
- 8:45Speaker 7: your designated gold dream, ambition, or mission. Understand this, that
- 8:51Speaker 7: the journey is a process. But all along the way
- 8:54Speaker 7: you'll find success. That are things that are going to
- 8:57Speaker 7: happen to you along the way, man, that will be
- 9:00Speaker 7: so gratifying and fulfilling. Where the journey is joyful, there
- 9:06Speaker 7: is joy in the journey. You don't have to be
- 9:10Speaker 7: there to appreciate the ride. Appreciate the journey and the process.
- 9:18Speaker 7: Stop getting mad because you ain't at the arrival dat
- 9:21Speaker 7: or your dreams ain't come true yet. Look up, Look up.
- 9:26Speaker 7: You might discover, man, that you're living better. You might
- 9:28Speaker 7: discover that you don't have a million yet, but you'd
- 9:31Speaker 7: have made a quarter of a million. What you tripping
- 9:33Speaker 7: for because you ain't got the million yet? Remember when
- 9:35Speaker 7: you didn't have nothing? Be grateful for the two hundred
- 9:39Speaker 7: and fifty thousand dollars mark, the one hundred thousand dollars mark,
- 9:43Speaker 7: the three hundred and twenty two thousand dollars mark. Don't
- 9:46Speaker 7: you understand, man, you may not be where you wanna be,
- 9:49Speaker 7: But man, can't you thank God that you ain't where
- 9:52Speaker 7: you was?
- 9:53Speaker 2: How about that?
- 9:54Speaker 7: One?
- 9:55Speaker 4: Huh?
- 9:55Speaker 1: All right here listening easy the Steve Harvey Morning.
- 9:59Speaker 7: Show, Ladies and gentlemen, it's about to go down now.
- 10:09Speaker 7: How exactly. I haven't decided, but know this down it's
- 10:14Speaker 7: going off. It's popping, is what it's gonna be. So
- 10:21Speaker 7: now that I've come to a conclusion, this is how
- 10:25Speaker 7: I'm gonna start it. Boom boom boom boom boom boom
- 10:35Speaker 7: boom boom boom boom boom boom. It was the third
- 10:43Speaker 7: of September and that's how I decided to start it
- 10:49Speaker 7: because I'm so sick of these people online doing the
- 10:53Speaker 7: intro acting like it's too long. That's how we did
- 10:56Speaker 7: our songs back then. If we wanted a too minute intro,
- 11:00Speaker 7: we did the too minute intro. The fact that you
- 11:02Speaker 7: don't have time speed on through your little new music
- 11:06Speaker 7: do it making these ninety second hits and all this
- 11:08Speaker 7: hell two minutes and twenty two seconds record?
- 11:12Speaker 5: Who do that?
- 11:13Speaker 7: You can't even get into the song. We got to
- 11:15Speaker 7: hear him, learn the song, then it's over wi then
- 11:18Speaker 7: after that you'll ask from with the remix. So we're
- 11:21Speaker 7: tired of this. We music loving people learn how to
- 11:25Speaker 7: write a song. Reading songs is so quick because you
- 11:28Speaker 7: ain't got no lyrics. Anybody want to keep saying this? Now,
- 11:33Speaker 7: welcome to the Steve Harvey morning show. This show is
- 11:38Speaker 7: about music, inspiration, uplift, information, humor, humor.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Me humor, but above all else.
- 11:50Speaker 7: And that was my form of humor. And now if
- 11:52Speaker 7: you didn't like the humor, understand because it's not funny
- 11:55Speaker 7: to everybody, especially all my kids. Oh, Daddy, you so wrong.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Shut up, Shut.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Charles Raggedy, make me say tell me I'm wrong. I'm wrong.
- 12:13Speaker 7: I got to deserve. I deserve to be right.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I'm wrong.
- 12:21Speaker 7: You should have sawt how I felt when they came
- 12:23Speaker 7: in and told me you was coming into this world.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I'm wrong.
- 12:27Speaker 7: I should have seen that day.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Talk about you. Oh, I felt wrong.
- 12:37Speaker 7: And then for the next rest of your life, I've
- 12:40Speaker 7: had to take care of you. Oh, something looked wrong
- 12:44Speaker 7: with that man. And I'm saying all this because I've
- 12:48Speaker 7: decided I want my children to start taking care of
- 12:51Speaker 7: me right now. And I know when you get it together.
- 12:54Speaker 7: You had plenty of time, having birthdays and everything. It's time. Nah,
- 13:00Speaker 7: take care of me. Pay me back.
- 13:05Speaker 2: You'll never get it.
- 13:06Speaker 7: You'll never get it.
- 13:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 1: My daughter said she's going to buy me a car.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I said, a car. Oh car, you know many cars?
- 13:15Speaker 1: I bought you, young lady.
- 13:17Speaker 8: A car.

- 15:15Speaker 10: no disrespect. I'm no no. The prank is my daddy's boat.
- 15:23Speaker 10: My dad is boat cat dog, get your hood. Hello,
- 15:28Speaker 10: I'm trying to reach mister Wilson. Please, mister Wilson, how
- 15:33Speaker 10: are you today?
- 15:34Speaker 5: Who is it?
- 15:35Speaker 2: My name is Williams.
- 15:38Speaker 10: Well, listen, we've been getting a few complaints or about
- 15:42Speaker 10: some things on your property there. Uh. Actually, I'm with
- 15:47Speaker 10: the homeowners Association. Wanted to reach out and give you
- 15:50Speaker 10: a call today.
- 15:51Speaker 5: Oh how you doing pretty good?
- 15:54Speaker 10: Listen, got a few things I kind of wanted to
- 15:57Speaker 10: discuss with you here that seemed to be, uh, a
- 16:01Speaker 10: problem that's taking place in the neighborhood there. It's been
- 16:04Speaker 10: brought to our attention down here at headquarters that you
- 16:07Speaker 10: have a few things on your property that are are
- 16:10Speaker 10: not functioning that really shouldn't be on the property.
- 16:13Speaker 9: Uh.
- 16:14Speaker 10: You have two cars supposedly in your driveway that are
- 16:17Speaker 10: not being used, been sitting there.
- 16:18Speaker 2: For quite some time.
- 16:19Speaker 5: But yeah, one of them I'm currently working on. I'm
- 16:22Speaker 5: almost I should haven't repaired. I'm just waiting on get
- 16:25Speaker 5: waiting to get a little extra money to get to
- 16:26Speaker 5: take care of the other car is just functioned and
- 16:28Speaker 5: I just don't drive. But I have more than one car.
- 16:31Speaker 7: Okay.
- 16:32Speaker 10: Now, you you also have a a a camper that
- 16:36Speaker 10: seems to be has been there for at least eight
- 16:39Speaker 10: months now, that's that's sitting there.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Is that correct as well?
- 16:42Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 16:42Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm working on getting some storage for that, but
- 16:46Speaker 5: it ain't really been there eight months, just maybe around
- 16:48Speaker 5: about six seven.
- 16:51Speaker 2: And uh, you know, I'm looking at our past records
- 16:54Speaker 2: and stuff.
- 16:55Speaker 10: It seems like there was a complaint before about the
- 16:59Speaker 10: you know, keep in the yard pretty cut and all
- 17:02Speaker 10: of that kind of stuff. And I'm just looking at
- 17:04Speaker 10: past complaints that I have here. Now the biggest one
- 17:07Speaker 10: that I have that that's concerning your property, sir, is
- 17:11Speaker 10: supposedly in your backyard. Now there's you have an old
- 17:15Speaker 10: boat that's in your backyard.
- 17:18Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, but I don't see that both bothering nobody.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Well, well, I mean it's it's kind of a sore
- 17:24Speaker 2: eye for the people.
- 17:25Speaker 10: I think you guys backyards actually bump up against each other,
- 17:29Speaker 10: and you guys have a chain link fence between the
- 17:32Speaker 10: two of you all, and I think the boat is
- 17:34Speaker 10: must be just a sore eye for the family that's
- 17:36Speaker 10: behind you all.
- 17:37Speaker 5: Well, you know, I don't see myself getting rid of
- 17:40Speaker 5: that boat, so I gotta cover all of everybody else
- 17:44Speaker 5: got a boat. I don't see what the problem is.
- 17:46Speaker 10: Well, Okay, here's what's actually happening, mister Wilson. What's going
- 17:50Speaker 10: to take place? Is this now we're gonna give you
- 17:53Speaker 10: a fourteen day extension. Fourteen days actually to move a
- 18:00Speaker 10: car that is not functioning, the camper as well, and
- 18:03Speaker 10: definitely the boat.
- 18:04Speaker 2: We need. We're gonna need those three items.
- 18:06Speaker 5: We'll get such. I ain't got nowhere to move the boat.
- 18:09Speaker 5: I just told you I was working on so well
- 18:11Speaker 5: for storage here, I'm a storage coach. Then the boat, now, Kevin,
- 18:15Speaker 5: I'll get that take care of. But the boat.
- 18:16Speaker 4: The boat.
- 18:17Speaker 5: The boat my daddy gave me, and my.
- 18:18Speaker 4: Daddy gave me that.
- 18:19Speaker 5: That's that's the only thing my daddy gave me before
- 18:21Speaker 5: he died.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Man.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Now, I'm not moving that boat nowhere. The boat won't
- 18:25Speaker 5: just fine. If I take you down into the water,
- 18:27Speaker 5: it'll work.
- 18:28Speaker 10: Sir, And I understand it wholeheartedly. You know, I'm basically
- 18:32Speaker 10: I'm just a messenger I have. I'm gonna have to
- 18:35Speaker 10: get the non functioning car that's not working properly. I'm
- 18:38Speaker 10: gonna have to get that out within a two week notice,
- 18:41Speaker 10: as well as the camper, and definitely the boat.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Now, I gotta get that out. That's gotta be gone.
- 18:46Speaker 5: I'll tell you what I ain't moving thing. I'll tell you, well,
- 18:49Speaker 5: what you're gonna.
- 18:49Speaker 10: Do, sir, you gotta either move the boat. I'm gonna
- 18:52Speaker 10: have somebody come over and haul all of these things away.
- 18:55Speaker 5: Well, i'll tell you what. I got thirteen breasons why
- 18:59Speaker 5: you won't go over step boat, and I got two
- 19:01Speaker 5: more for two times thirteen twenty six. I got thirteen,
- 19:05Speaker 5: and then I got another twenty six added on to that.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Why you won't bring them before we to touch my
- 19:10Speaker 5: daddy boat because my daddy gave me the boat out
- 19:13Speaker 5: be interview. You know, I'm tired of you with me.
- 19:16Speaker 5: It's a cross street, ain't we're gonna reporting because.
- 19:19Speaker 7: It was, sir.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I'm not at liberty to give you the who's reporting
- 19:22Speaker 2: car my ball?
- 19:23Speaker 5: So you're at liberally give me something because I know
- 19:26Speaker 5: down the street at this boat, you know, eight months
- 19:28Speaker 5: it ain't nobody said sing to it. So why the
- 19:31Speaker 5: hell y'all mean about had a vote in the backyard
- 19:33Speaker 5: that my daddy gave me?
- 19:34Speaker 4: Sir.
- 19:34Speaker 10: The language is not necessary, sir. The bottom line is
- 19:39Speaker 10: I want the camper out, I want the vote out,

- 22:39Speaker 7: Will Rodney a couple of things. Either she has no

- 23:50Speaker 7: Just be real with yourself.
- 23:51Speaker 1: All right, Here we go, moving on to my Issha
- 23:53Speaker 1: and Tempe. My Issha says, I'm twenty nine years old
- 23:57Speaker 1: and I'm engaged. My fiance was DM and a woman
- 24:00Speaker 1: that's eleven years older than me, and she told him
- 24:03Speaker 1: that he should experience an older woman before he gets married.
- 24:06Speaker 1: And he said, all right, bet, he swears that he
- 24:08Speaker 1: has no intentions of having sex with her, doesn't all right,
- 24:12Speaker 1: bet mean that he wants to do it?
- 24:16Speaker 7: Well, usually when I say bet okay, it's because I

- 24:27Speaker 7: I'm coming over there. I bet you won't bet uh huh. Yeah,
- 24:31Speaker 7: that's what it means. Yeah, But if he said it's
- 24:34Speaker 7: no intention, then you have to find a way in
- 24:37Speaker 7: your world to believe that. But what is the DM's
- 24:42Speaker 7: fault exactly? Oh lord? These people with just social media, man,
- 24:48Speaker 7: what y'all doing I bet, I bet, yeah, she's.

- 25:19Speaker 7: Everybody feels that way.
- 25:21Speaker 1: To get the experience.
- 25:23Speaker 7: Yeah, uh huh. Then when you get older, you're older,
- 25:27Speaker 7: you think you should experience a younger woman. You're always
- 25:30Speaker 7: lying to yourself. A man is constantly alive with hisself.
- 25:43Speaker 1: All right, here we go, moving on to Alexis in Harlem.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Alexis writes, my five year old daughter grabbed my faith
- 25:50Speaker 1: and pressed her tiny little lips on mine and moans.
- 25:55Speaker 1: I asked her what she was doing, and she said
- 25:57Speaker 1: her daddy kissed her aunt my sister like that. My
- 26:01Speaker 1: husband called our child a liar. Who's really yeah lying?

- 26:39Speaker 7: Yeah, hell yeah, he got to say that.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Wow, that's amazing.
- 26:47Speaker 7: Where you get that from daddy when he kills Auntie?
- 26:51Speaker 7: All right, now she's gonna get a whooping.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Put out that child.

- 27:02Speaker 2: Spankle for that. No, you can't spank your child because you.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Stupid, right right right.
- 27:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:17Speaker 7: It's like when I was cussing around my grandson and
- 27:19Speaker 7: I wasn't supposed to it.
- 27:20Speaker 4: Uh.
- 27:21Speaker 7: He was in the high chair and Marjorie came in
- 27:24Speaker 7: the room and he said, papau mofo. What I looked
- 27:29Speaker 7: at him. I said, black, uncle Tom, what is your
- 27:34Speaker 7: you're telling his song? But I was on the phone
- 27:37Speaker 7: talking to one of my boys, and he heard me cussing,
- 27:40Speaker 7: and he was just eating his little crackers. And when
- 27:42Speaker 7: Marjorie came in the room, she said, he said, Papa mofo,
- 27:47Speaker 7: but he couldn't say it. But he's trying to say
- 27:50Speaker 7: Papa said mother, and you know, but all he got

- 27:56Speaker 7: uncle Tom and I had to stopped taking.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Him place you didn't so he's lying.
- 28:02Speaker 4: No.

- 28:03Speaker 7: She says, Steve, Steve, where did he get that front?
- 28:07Speaker 2: How you know?
- 28:14Speaker 4: Yeah?

- 28:19Speaker 4: All right?
- 28:20Speaker 1: Moving on to last one, Steve Sonya in Texas. Sonya says,
- 28:24Speaker 1: I'm married to a man that has a grooming schedule
- 28:27Speaker 1: better than mine. And when he told me he couldn't
- 28:29Speaker 1: move a box in the garage because he might damage
- 28:32Speaker 1: his nails, I used an app on my phone to
- 28:35Speaker 1: get two guys to help me clean the garage. My
- 28:38Speaker 1: husband didn't approve. But what am I supposed to do
- 28:42Speaker 1: if he's lacking off?
- 28:44Speaker 7: This is this is her husband?
- 28:48Speaker 1: Huh yeah, yeah, yeah, you married you married him.
- 28:52Speaker 7: He can't move a box because it'll mess up his nails.

- 29:00Speaker 2: But he ain't got no gloves. No, no, I'll get it.
- 29:03Speaker 7: What it is. It's called tendencies. You can't tell your
- 29:06Speaker 7: wife you can't move a box in the garage because
- 29:09Speaker 7: it'll mess up your nails. He sure can't particu you.
- 29:12Speaker 1: And what do you mean by that's true?
- 29:16Speaker 7: Tendencies? He has tendencies, that's all that is. He has
- 29:20Speaker 7: tendencies that may not be pertaining to being just a
- 29:25Speaker 7: full time hud.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Need no explanation. Everybody know the hell tendencies?
- 29:30Speaker 7: Do they?
- 29:30Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, do they?
- 29:32Speaker 7: Yes, they do. I'm just making sure he got tendencies. Okay,

- 29:51Speaker 7: It's Steve Harbin Martin show Man. Men that wear thongs
- 29:55Speaker 7: don't pay money back. We men do not pay money back.
- 30:02Speaker 7: I don't know, it's just a rule. I don't know
- 30:05Speaker 7: where the rule came from anybody. I know where a
- 30:08Speaker 7: throne don't pay money back. And men who wear thrones
- 30:12Speaker 7: that think they sexy, it's usually not thall and don't
- 30:17Speaker 7: even go in the same You can't have a thong
- 30:22Speaker 7: on and all they see is the love V in
- 30:25Speaker 7: the front coming up right after you.
- 30:31Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. According to a new
- 30:39Speaker 1: Planet Fitness study, women actually prefer the dad bod over
- 30:44Speaker 1: six pack abs.
- 30:45Speaker 7: All right, thank god for that.
- 30:47Speaker 1: I know You're welcome, guys, your business.
- 30:50Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 30:52Speaker 1: The results of the Planet Fitness study suggest that women
- 30:55Speaker 1: are still being driven wild by a bit of extra
- 30:58Speaker 1: pudge of the survey recently revealed that, contrary to what
- 31:02Speaker 1: you might have believed, women do actually prefer a man
- 31:05Speaker 1: with a little bit of belly on them. Okay, man,
- 31:11Speaker 1: but that begs the question, Yeah, is this a double
- 31:15Speaker 1: standard though, because because do men prefer a woman with
- 31:19Speaker 1: a little belly with a mom bot? So you don't
- 31:25Speaker 1: care as.
- 31:26Speaker 7: Long as you ain't what was that, as long as
- 31:30Speaker 7: you ain't prey.
- 31:41Speaker 2: For me.
- 31:44Speaker 7: I've got no problem with mom bod. I don't. I
- 31:46Speaker 7: don't you know, I don't you know, especially you know
- 31:50Speaker 7: mom bob. Women have babies, their body's gonna change. Well,
- 31:53Speaker 7: that's all the way back.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that's good. That's good to hear, because you know,
- 31:58Speaker 1: there's so much pressure on women on their physical larynces
- 32:02Speaker 1: and you know, their bodies and all of that. It
- 32:04Speaker 1: ain't met us to be so perfect.
- 32:07Speaker 7: But yeah, I'm telling you, man, my wife's hairdresser was
- 32:10Speaker 7: at the house one time. Her husband dropped him off.
- 32:13Speaker 7: Real big guy man, I'm talking about, really really overweight,
- 32:17Speaker 7: nice guy man. I liked him and his wife. His
- 32:20Speaker 7: wife used to do my wife's here and she cut
- 32:23Speaker 7: her hair. You know, she was a stylist. She cut
- 32:25Speaker 7: into her hair, little Halleyberry cut, and she was over
- 32:29Speaker 7: the house kind of quiet one day, and Martie said
- 32:32Speaker 7: it's wrong. She said, it's in't here arguing with this food.
- 32:36Speaker 7: And she said, my husband, you know, he saw my head.
- 32:39Speaker 2: He ain't like it.
- 32:40Speaker 7: He come talking about he like long hair. I told him, Hell,
- 32:42Speaker 7: I like muscles.
- 32:47Speaker 5: What we like.
- 32:49Speaker 2: But we got over there. She said, well I like muscles.
- 32:53Speaker 2: But we got each other though.
- 32:55Speaker 7: But you like long hair. She said, hell, I like muscles.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Shut it down.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but is it?
- 33:07Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 33:08Speaker 1: I thought it would be more of a double standard
- 33:10Speaker 1: because I know men are so visual.
- 33:13Speaker 7: I don't care woman has a six Would you say what?
- 33:17Speaker 7: I don't care that woman has a six pack? What
- 33:19Speaker 7: is that going to do?
- 33:20Speaker 2: It's nice to look at it, but you know a
- 33:23Speaker 2: requirement six and my two that don't end. Yes, what
- 33:30Speaker 2: is that?
- 33:34Speaker 1: But if you lookator, if you look.
- 33:36Speaker 11: At your man, then you see him. Then I have
- 33:39Speaker 11: no right to demand about it if I can't provide me.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Okay, okay, now that was profound.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it really did it?
- 33:49Speaker 7: Really? Yeah? You mean somebody to be something you not?
- 33:52Speaker 1: Yeah, A lot of guys as progressive as you guys you.
- 33:56Speaker 7: Know, don't matter, but they can be non progressive. They'll
- 34:00Speaker 7: be over there by theyself somewhere, Yeah, exactly, Or you
- 34:05Speaker 7: mess around to get some dumb woman with a six pack.
- 34:09Speaker 7: Now what you what?
- 34:10Speaker 2: What did you say?
- 34:12Speaker 7: Said?
- 34:12Speaker 4: Us?
- 34:12Speaker 6: Three?
- 34:13Speaker 2: Is not that half? So we can't y'all two?
- 34:16Speaker 4: Not that.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Trio Tommy? Hey, no, hell cute with a two pack? Okay,

- 34:44Speaker 7: some angles. I've seen him from some different.

- 39:59Speaker 2: know you try.
- 40:03Speaker 7: The pain for truth. Let's let's delay that pain as
- 40:06Speaker 7: long as.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Post hear it and get it over with, all right?
- 40:12Speaker 10: All right?
- 40:13Speaker 1: Would you rather a dirty kitchen or a dirty bathroom?
- 40:18Speaker 4: Oh?
- 40:19Speaker 2: God, I don't want one of you girls.
- 40:21Speaker 11: No, I'll take a dirty kitchen, dirty kitchen, yees, a
- 40:24Speaker 11: dirty bathroom.
- 40:27Speaker 10: Because the kitchen let me know you put your effort in.
- 40:31Speaker 10: But that bathroom you is nasty.
- 40:34Speaker 15: I'm so funny about bathroom. Yes, Junior, Yeah, yeah, we
- 40:43Speaker 15: were going with the kitchen, all right.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Would you rather have massive success by accident or modest
- 40:54Speaker 1: success on purpose?
- 40:56Speaker 16: A massive accidental success, massive mass?
- 41:05Speaker 2: We want to I want abundance.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Hey, what's up, everybody? This is your girl Candy, this
- 41:12Speaker 1: is Anthony Anderson, this is Janet.
- 41:14Speaker 2: And you can't get no sleep when you're listening to
- 41:16Speaker 2: Steve Carlos, Shirley and nephew Tommy on the Steve Harvey
- 41:20Speaker 2: Morning Show.
- 41:21Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 41:29Speaker 2: All right, here we go.
- 41:30Speaker 1: It's time to check Steve's voicemail. And if you want
- 41:32Speaker 1: to leave a voicemail for Steve, all you have to
- 41:34Speaker 1: do is call eight seven seven twenty nine Steve and
- 41:37Speaker 1: you might hear your message on the radio. Steve, Are
- 41:39Speaker 1: you ready? Here is Will. This caller needs some relationship advice.
- 41:45Speaker 14: I want to see. My name is Will, and I'm
- 41:48Speaker 14: in a relationship with my fiance. But see, sha't be
- 41:52Speaker 14: trusting what I be thinking it Well, trust the faith
- 41:55Speaker 14: that I'm telling her when you start working. And I'm
- 41:57Speaker 14: sitting at her job overnight, been during the daytime, and
- 42:02Speaker 14: I'm giving her everything.
- 42:03Speaker 5: But she wants to walk away because.
- 42:06Speaker 7: Of pass and everything that she had fenced. And guess what.
- 42:10Speaker 14: See, I did some to hurt her in the beginning,
- 42:13Speaker 14: but I changed my fit and I became a different man.
- 42:16Speaker 9: Seed.
- 42:16Speaker 5: So see, I need to Steve much good thing, A
- 42:20Speaker 5: good man.
- 42:21Speaker 7: Thank you? Yeah, she will.
- 42:23Speaker 10: I don't.
- 42:23Speaker 7: I don't. I don't doubt that you're a good man.
- 42:26Speaker 7: But you said something. You said I did some things
- 42:29Speaker 7: to hurt her at the beginning. This is what I
- 42:32Speaker 7: had to learn. And this is what I've been telling
- 42:35Speaker 7: people lately. You can't hurt somebody in then and tell
- 42:39Speaker 7: them how to heal. Wow, it doesn't work.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Say that again.
- 42:45Speaker 7: Say that and you can't hurt somebody and then tell
- 42:49Speaker 7: them how to heal. You can't. You see, you can't
- 42:53Speaker 7: do both, bro. So now you got to allow her
- 42:57Speaker 7: to process at however she gon process. And that's the cost, man.
- 43:01Speaker 7: That's the problem that when we do something there's a cost.
- 43:05Speaker 7: Now it's not a forever cost. And this is why
- 43:07Speaker 7: I don't like about people. You know, people take a
- 43:10Speaker 7: mistake you made in the past, and every time they
- 43:12Speaker 7: see something happen to you, that's calm. And remember when
- 43:15Speaker 7: he did this. You are not the person who passes
- 43:18Speaker 7: out calm and you ain't give a matter of fact,
- 43:20Speaker 7: most people use word calm or use it too loosely.
- 43:23Speaker 7: It's you just enter the next phase of the life.
- 43:26Speaker 7: You're gonna continue to make mistakes. So look, bro, you
- 43:28Speaker 7: made a mistake. I bet you are a good man,
- 43:30Speaker 7: but you got to do a little groppling, man, if
- 43:32Speaker 7: you want to keep her.
- 43:33Speaker 1: So you know that's right, all right?

- 56:46Speaker 2: Here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Subject. I just can't do this, Dear Stephen Shirley. I've
- 56:53Speaker 1: been dating a man for four years and I asked
- 56:55Speaker 1: him to marry me recently. Because time is of the essence,
- 56:59Speaker 1: and I want to have a baby. When we met,
- 57:02Speaker 1: he told me that I would be his wife. I
- 57:04Speaker 1: took it to heart, and I overlooked a lot of
- 57:07Speaker 1: stuff to make our relationship work. I usually wouldn't date
- 57:10Speaker 1: an overweight man, and I definitely wouldn't date a man
- 57:14Speaker 1: with halatosis. I invested in him, and I cooked for him,
- 57:18Speaker 1: worked out with him, and helped him pay for his
- 57:20Speaker 1: dental work. Even after he gained most of his weight back,
- 57:24Speaker 1: I was patient with him. I won't say I'm perfect,
- 57:28Speaker 1: but I'm too good for him. If I were him,
- 57:31Speaker 1: i'd jump at the chance to marry me. I can cook,
- 57:34Speaker 1: keep a clean house, and be adventurous in the bedroom. Well,
- 57:38Speaker 1: he didn't get to experience the bedroom part until a
- 57:41Speaker 1: year after we met, after he lost the weight. He
- 57:44Speaker 1: has even told me I'm perfect. So I don't see
- 57:47Speaker 1: how one little mistake, one little mistake on my part,
- 57:50Speaker 1: can make him not want to marry me. So here's
- 57:53Speaker 1: the backstory. I messed around with a coworker three times
- 57:59Speaker 1: and it was the best sex I ever had, so
- 58:02Speaker 1: I decided to share it with one of my best girlfriends.
- 58:05Speaker 1: We all had a threesome and then she went and
- 58:08Speaker 1: told my boyfriend. He gave me an ultimatum to stop
- 58:12Speaker 1: messing around or I'd lose him. I had invested too
- 58:15Speaker 1: much to let him go, so I stopped messing around
- 58:18Speaker 1: and I cut all ties with my hating friend. My
- 58:21Speaker 1: man and I were working things out, and I decided
- 58:24Speaker 1: to ask him to marry me, to convince him that
- 58:27Speaker 1: I'm all into this relationship. He told me, I just
- 58:32Speaker 1: can't do this. How can he say that to me?
- 58:35Speaker 1: He can't do it? But I've been holding on and
- 58:37Speaker 1: hoping for a husband for four years. I'm not investing
- 58:41Speaker 1: this kind of time into anyone else, so this has
- 58:44Speaker 1: to work. How do I convince this man to be
- 58:48Speaker 1: my husband? What are you talking about, lady? This man
- 58:53Speaker 1: is not going to marry you now. He's not going
- 58:56Speaker 1: to do it, and you have to let this go.
- 58:58Speaker 1: I mean, too much has happened, and he said out
- 59:01Speaker 1: of his mouth he can't do it. You said you
- 59:04Speaker 1: were too good for him. So where are we now?
- 59:07Speaker 1: What are you doing? Are you settling just because time
- 59:11Speaker 1: is of the essence and you want a baby? Or
- 59:13Speaker 1: is it because you helped him with his weight and
- 59:15Speaker 1: with his halitosis and all of that. And marriage is
- 59:19Speaker 1: that return on your investment you think. I don't think
- 59:23Speaker 1: you're really ready to marry this man anyway. If you were,
- 59:26Speaker 1: you wouldn't have messed around with your coworker for no
- 59:30Speaker 1: reason at all. I mean, you throw it out there
- 59:34Speaker 1: so casually. So here's the backstory. I messed around, okay really,
- 59:39Speaker 1: and then you added your girlfriend into it so you
- 59:42Speaker 1: guys could have a threesome. What was the point of that?
- 59:47Speaker 1: How do you expect your man to recover from that?
- 59:49Speaker 1: If he was considering marrying you, it is over now
- 59:53Speaker 1: because of that, he doesn't want to marry you. Now
- 59:56Speaker 1: it's over. That's what you got to get in your
- 59:59Speaker 1: head over, Steve.
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: I wasn't ready for this letter.
- 1:00:03Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Took a turn, didn't it.
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: Yeah? It was a nice little letter I because I
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: was feeling fun. Then all of a sudden, I don't
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: like it no more. You know, just a lady, I
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: don't know what you want me and surely to do.
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: Been dating a man for four years now, letting me
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: show you how I was reading the letter, so you
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: can understand you recently asked a man to marry you.
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: Because time is of the essence right now, He told
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: you when you met that you could be his wife,
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: and you took it to heart and you started overlooking
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: a lot of stuff just to make our relationship with
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: first thing you did. I usually wouldn't date an overweight man.
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: So now, fat boy, that'll open up the whole conversation
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: with oh, I love you, you will be my wife.
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: He got to come out the gate with both barrels blazing.
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: He got to come out the gate. I want to
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: marry you. I want a family, I want kids. I
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: take care of you. Ain't got a wart for none.
- 1:00:53Speaker 7: I love you, you mine forever. Is that okay? So
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: he knew he had to come out with it because
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: it's fat. Now next problem, definitely wouldn't day a man
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: with holotosin. See, holotosis is different than bad breath. See
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: if you got bad breath, that's just a day. When
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: somebody says you have holotosis, they are signing a medical
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: term to what is an ongoing occurrence. That means every
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: time you open your mouth, here comes something out of it.
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: Now I know for a fact this is something he
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: eating in a combination.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: I know for a fact that's where the came from.
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: Yeah, that's for then I invested in him and cooked
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: for him, worked out with him, and helped him pay for.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: His dental work. Now it's deeper.
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: Now we got holes and cavities, and stuff is high
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: in the cavities and down there turning into something else.
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: So he opening up his mouth and sound like a
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: waste management area. So he opened up his mouth. You
- 1:02:14Speaker 7: don't know what's coming out, but it's deadly though. It
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: is deadly, and he fat. So now he wheezing. I
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: say that people that breathe like that. You ever heard
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: somebody breathe like that? Yeah? Yeah, you be saying you.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Dog?
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: Did you sleep? But he'd be wide awake, be reading texts?
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: All right? Just stopped up?
- 1:02:56Speaker 7: What is what is wrong?
- 1:02:58Speaker 9: Dog?
- 1:02:58Speaker 7: Is you that dig?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: Hold on, We'll be back with part two of Steve's
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: response and his breathing at twenty three minutes after the
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: hour Today's Strawberry letter subject, I just can't do this.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: All right, we'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You've heard
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: us talk about the benefits of Globe Life insurance. Globe
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: Life has been protecting families for generations. Globe Life is
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: easy to buy with rates starting as low as three
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: dollars and forty nine cents a month. There is no
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: medical exam, just a simple application. Call globe Life today
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: at one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: or visit Globelife radio dot com again, that's one eight
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: hundred two five one fifty four hundred or globelifradio dot com.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Are you still breathing? Let's recap Steve the Strawberry letter
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: for today, subject I just can't do this.
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: Okay, dating this fat boy for four years and she
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: don't normal to date fat men. But he came out
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: to gate and said he wanted to marry her. That
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: was intriguing and she wants to hold him to it.
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: But he got holotosis. She say. Holotosis is a level
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: up from bad breath, bad breakfast. You just got caught
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: out there one day. You know what happens to us
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: all I guess. But if you have if they've assigned
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: a medical condition to it and start saying you have halotosins,
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: that means every time they see you, you open your mouth, garbage,
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: hot garbage come out your mouth. Okay, So now we
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: went over that. Now she helped him pay his bills.
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: She cooked for him, worked out with him, and helped
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: him pay for his dental work. Now he got to
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: get work done. Teeth moved around, shifting on him and
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: all this hell. Now, even after he gained most of
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: his weight back. See, fat boy was not committed to
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: this program when you took him down too fast, she said,
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: even after he gave most of his weight back, I
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: was patient with him. I wouldn't say I'm perfect, because
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: you know she got some flaws too, right, But I'm
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: too good for him. If I were him, i jump
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: at the chance to marry me. I can cook, so
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: see so you know, see sheit a little thick. I
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: can cook, keep a clean house, and be adventurous in
- 1:05:23Speaker 7: the bed. Well, he didn't get to experience that bedroom
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: part till after year after we met. Yeah, but even
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: when he did, see you said something else and that
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: you adventurous in the bedroom. Now he fat, fat people
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: ain't that adventurous. You know, all this, all this you
- 1:05:39Speaker 7: in here, all this you in here with all this.
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: You know, I'm just trying to get over here and
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: get this get done. You know you're all this work
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: I'm doing right here. You see me sweating. I want
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: to stand up today. That's as adventurous as I need
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: to get. Why you want to stand up because I'm
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: tired of climbing back out that bed. It's a lot
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: of stuff. So now you in here doing monkey flips
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: and he ain't with none of this. Now you're thinking
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: everything is on her side, and then he has even
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: told you that you're perfect. So I don't see how
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: one little mistake on my part can make him not
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: want to marry me. Oh, he would go. So here's
- 1:06:18Speaker 7: the backstory. She messed around with a coworker three times
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: if the best sex she ever had. Why he was
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: in shape. So it was so good that you shared
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: it with one of your best girlfriends, She said, girl,
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: what now y'all over there having a threesome. Then she
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: went and told your boyfriend fat boy, he gave you
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: an ultimatum to stop messing around or I lose him.
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: I had invested too much to let him go, so
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: I stopped messing around. I cut all ties with my
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: hating friend, my man, and I was working things out,
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: and I decided to ask him to marry me, to
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: convince him that I'm all into this relationship. He told me,
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: I just, I just can't do that.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: One more time, one more time.
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: I listen, I just gave I just I just can't
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: do this here, you all these people, Now you sit
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: up here saying, how can he say that to me?
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: He can't do it. I've been holding on and hoping
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: for a husband for four years. I'm not investing this
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: type of time into anybody else. So this has to work.
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: How do I convince this man to be my husband?
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: You're not, you're not, you're not. It's over with a
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: couple of things. First of all, you do threesomes. You
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: do threesomes. Now that's hard on the fat man because
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: now he gotta watch everybody here. He don't know if
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: you're looking at him or her. Now now he just
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: he on point. He can't even eat his dinner. Hook
- 1:07:49Speaker 7: What he looking at? Well?
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: What she looking at?
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: Who looking over here? He looking over here? Why is
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: there looking over here? Why is all these people looking
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: at this?
- 1:07:56Speaker 9: You know him?
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: Have you ever met her too? You know her too?
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: Have you seen him before? Where was you all that together?
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: Y'all probably had another threesome. He can't even meet his food.
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: He probably losing weight right now because he at the restaurant,
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: looking at everybody watching you, trying to figure out which
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: one you want, because once you do threesomes, you wants everybody. See.
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: It's one thing for a man had to watch out
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: for another man, But when you got to watch out
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: for the men, the women, the waiters, the matred d
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: the owner of the club, the uber driver, it's just
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: too much. The people in that passing out mits in
- 1:08:31Speaker 7: the bathroom, the shoe shine man, the valet. Who you want?
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: They all in him? Your ex my ex, day exes.
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: What did you want?
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: The past or, the pastor wife.
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: What we're in there for you? You all in the
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: tennis section, so plano sections. You see it with our tones,
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: bath tone? What's going on in there? It's too much,
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: It's too much. It's over now, he said, I just
- 1:08:59Speaker 7: can't do this. Listen to me.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: Judge Len told that. Told me the best advice I've
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: ever heard on my show.
- 1:09:05Speaker 7: One day. She said, don't let a man have to
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: tell you twice he don't want you. I've told you
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: all this. Don't let a man have to tell you
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: twice he don't want you. He watching too much, so
- 1:09:18Speaker 7: let his fat, bad breath go ahead on He ain't
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: gonna get nobody else. He on that breathing or wheezing
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: and stuff. And the whole time he was telling me, baby,
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: I'm sorry, I was seeing this other man.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Who was he?
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: Who?
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: What was he doing that?
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: I can't do?
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: What?
- 1:09:45Speaker 7: What was she in that doing? Folk too?
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: What she.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: All right? Listen poster comments.

- 1:15:45Speaker 18: if they didn't have this restaurant. It was called the
- 1:15:47Speaker 18: ponder Rosa steakhouse West Columbia. It was in West Columbia.
- 1:15:52Speaker 18: I lived in Columbia, Which meant you had to catch
- 1:15:55Speaker 18: the bus to go across the bridge. The last bus
- 1:15:58Speaker 18: would leave at ten o'clock out out for ten thirty,
- 1:16:01Speaker 18: and you had to dress like a cowboy, like a
- 1:16:05Speaker 18: real cowboy.
- 1:16:09Speaker 7: With hey hey.
- 1:16:12Speaker 18: You had to wear the cowboy shirt with the scarf
- 1:16:15Speaker 18: around the neck, with the cowboy hat. You didn't have
- 1:16:19Speaker 18: to wear boots, but if you had boots yet, but
- 1:16:21Speaker 18: you had to wear jeans. Now that meant I had
- 1:16:24Speaker 18: to walk across the bridge dressed like a cowboy to
- 1:16:28Speaker 18: catch the last bus. To catch the last Busso when
- 1:16:34Speaker 18: I tell you, I heard the in words so much.
- 1:16:42Speaker 18: Not only did they say it, sometimes they wouldn't even
- 1:16:45Speaker 18: go all the way to the end of the bridge.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: They turn around and come back and call me the inWORD.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: The inWORD cowboy is what I remember, mostly traumatizing.

- 1:17:47Speaker 7: wasn't no riding in my wagon, pulled it up and
- 1:17:49Speaker 7: down the street and all that. What you couldn't do
- 1:17:52Speaker 7: that this will work wagon. I just woke up in
- 1:17:55Speaker 7: the morning and left my house about nine.

- 1:18:11Speaker 7: I heard drugs drug my wagon looking for pop bottles,
- 1:18:15Speaker 7: and I put a pop bottle in my wagon because
- 1:18:17Speaker 7: you could turn in pop bottles for two cents, and
- 1:18:20Speaker 7: my goal was to find fifty pop bottles before I
- 1:18:23Speaker 7: went home for lunch, and that was a dollar. And
- 1:18:27Speaker 7: then when I got through, I get back out there
- 1:18:29Speaker 7: with my wagon. I play a little bit, but I
- 1:18:31Speaker 7: dragged my wagon and I try to make another dollar

- 1:25:28Speaker 9: I'd see you. My name is Alvin Truth Sam here
- 1:25:31Speaker 9: in Atlanta, Georgia, single father, four beautiful kids.
- 1:25:34Speaker 5: Thank you for your.
- 1:25:35Speaker 9: Voice, thank you for your investment. And the hell with
- 1:25:38Speaker 9: these people who always got something to stay bad about. Steve, Harvey, Shirley, Julia, Tommy,
- 1:25:44Speaker 9: call it to the crew. We love you. Be blessed,
- 1:25:48Speaker 9: be safe, stay prosperous, and keep the love rolling there.
- 1:25:52Speaker 9: Take care of yourself, God bless wing.
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: Whereby no hat.
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: The way it's like this, and I appreciate it, Alban,
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: because you need to hear that from people sometimes, especially men,
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: you know, because first of all, it don't matter what
- 1:26:10Speaker 7: they say, because what they say don't matter. And I've
- 1:26:14Speaker 7: just learned that about haters. They don't move the needle.
- 1:26:17Speaker 7: They sit up. They criticize everybody's life, but if you
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: look at their life, they ain't doing the thing. And
- 1:26:23Speaker 7: I know for a fact that it's a lot of
- 1:26:25Speaker 7: people out there talking about me. But it's okay. I
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: actually have more love than I do hate. It's just
- 1:26:32Speaker 7: hate is louder. And I understand that because listen to me,
- 1:26:36Speaker 7: to everybody, if you doing something, somebody ain't gonna like
- 1:26:41Speaker 7: it because they mad at you because of the way
- 1:26:44Speaker 7: you making them look. You know, they measure their life
- 1:26:47Speaker 7: up against yours. And then when it don't add up.
- 1:26:49Speaker 7: Now you this and that, I'll tell you what I
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: will say, though, Alvin, what bothers me is when it's men.
- 1:26:57Speaker 7: That's the only thing that bothers me as men, because
- 1:27:02Speaker 7: I pride myself on being a man's man. And if
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: you a man and your little punk ain't got yourself together,
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: why you why you throwing shade on me, bro, because
- 1:27:13Speaker 7: blowing my candle out ain't gonna make yours brighter. You
- 1:27:15Speaker 7: still ain't got no flicker, so you know, man. But
- 1:27:19Speaker 7: but you know, man, but when men hate on me,
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: it's it be tripped me out because it's always a
- 1:27:24Speaker 7: man that don't even know me, because I'm cool with
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: ninety nine point nine percent of the me and I meet.
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: But me And now you know, if women out there
- 1:27:34Speaker 7: talking from whatever, you know my past, I don't like
- 1:27:37Speaker 7: the way he did his ex wife and all this. Hell,
- 1:27:39Speaker 7: you know, people gonna say stuff like that whatever you know,
- 1:27:42Speaker 7: God that you gave me for all that. They don't
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: know both sides of the story though that and Tommy,
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: they never will. You don't know that.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: I'm not knocking. I'm not one.
- 1:27:52Speaker 10: I'm not knocking one side or the other. I'm just
- 1:27:54Speaker 10: saying they don't know both sides of the story.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: They're just the only thing. They don't know how.
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: They just just nothing judgment. Yeah, is making judgment and
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: they don't know.
- 1:28:04Speaker 7: Man, I don't know. I don't know how he did that. Okay,
- 1:28:08Speaker 7: well that's a true statement. You don't. I had a
- 1:28:13Speaker 7: young man tell me who's very close to me. He
- 1:28:17Speaker 7: got mad at me one day and he said, I'll
- 1:28:19Speaker 7: never be a man like you. I looked dead at
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: him and said, you're absolutely correct.
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: Pure words have never been spoken.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: I just he said, no, you understand what I'm saying.
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: Whatever you're saying, that statement you just made is absolutely
- 1:28:35Speaker 7: true because you you ain't walked in my shoes, man.
- 1:28:40Speaker 7: And I think if you had to wear these shoes,
- 1:28:43Speaker 7: you realize these is twelve and you ain't a six
- 1:28:46Speaker 7: and a half.
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: Girl, little little bitty f feet.
- 1:28:55Speaker 7: Fixed shoes and half girl.
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: You call though, yeah, single father too. Yeah, thank you,
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: very nice call out. I had a question, Steve. You
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: know you're you're the CELO of the chief love Officer
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: and you give a relationship advice all of that. What's
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: the best relationship advice someone has ever given you.
- 1:29:22Speaker 7: About love relationships?
- 1:29:25Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: Loving relationships?
- 1:29:26Speaker 7: Yeah? I think my brother told it to me best
- 1:29:31Speaker 7: mm hmm my brother say, little bro, you can give
- 1:29:34Speaker 7: all you want. You can't outgive a woman, not a
- 1:29:39Speaker 7: good one. No, when you got a good woman, you
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: can't outgive them. H I don't care what you do.
- 1:29:47Speaker 7: And I think that's really really helped me, you know.
- 1:29:51Speaker 7: Marjorie said, something to me the other day that I
- 1:29:54Speaker 7: had thought it out, worked it out, mapped it out, excellent,
- 1:30:00Speaker 7: read it by a couple of dudes, excellent plan told
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: it to her and soon as I finished the sentence,
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: she said, we ain't gonna do that.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
- 1:30:13Speaker 10: Do you know?
- 1:30:15Speaker 7: This was two and a half weeks of going over it,
- 1:30:19Speaker 7: researching it, looked at the facts, did pull the numbers.
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: It made perfect sense every dude was talking about.
- 1:30:27Speaker 7: Yeah. I told it to her. As soon as I
- 1:30:31Speaker 7: finished the sentence, without hesitation, she said, we ain't gonna
- 1:30:34Speaker 7: do that.
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: And I looked at her, like what I said, baby?
- 1:30:39Speaker 7: And I went through this whole dissertation about the numbers
- 1:30:42Speaker 7: of what I figured out, and she went to the
- 1:30:45Speaker 7: one area that me, as a man, I never even considered.
- 1:30:52Speaker 7: And do you know she was one hundred percent correct.
- 1:30:56Speaker 7: See now, if if you small art, you will listen
- 1:31:00Speaker 7: to that, because I've not listened to it a couple.
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: Of times mm hmmm, because I went, Okay, you.
- 1:31:08Speaker 7: Know you ain't did the research, but the research don't matter,
- 1:31:10Speaker 7: I'm telling you, and and and whenever she's told me
- 1:31:14Speaker 7: not to do something, I went on and did it.
- 1:31:17Speaker 7: It didn't work out. Tell me.
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: What you tell your friends after after that. I didn't
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: say nothing to him. I just said, we ain't doing it.
- 1:31:29Speaker 7: Dog. I thought real, quit thinking. I don went in
- 1:31:37Speaker 7: there with what I thought already, and I'm telling y'all
- 1:31:39Speaker 7: don't go back in there. She was really really correct. Hey, y'all, listen,
- 1:31:46Speaker 7: have yourself a great day. Talk to God. He would
- 1:31:50Speaker 7: love to hear from you.
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: Where you're gonna make that a T shirt?
