- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know. Y'all have
- 0:10Speaker 1: all suit looking back to back down, giving them move
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the Millian buck things in its tubbles. Y'all me
- 0:20Speaker 1: good it. Steve Hay listening to the movie Together for study,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join, join me, be doing me. Honey. You
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta turn you are you gotta turn to turn them out? Turn,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn them out to turn turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your fat huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice,
- 2:05Speaker 1: Come on, gig me now. One and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yeah man, one more time. Steve
- 2:14Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. Why because God, God is
- 2:20Speaker 1: in the blessing business. If you go get in line,
- 2:24Speaker 1: he has something for you. If you go get in line,
- 2:30Speaker 1: he has something for you. God is amazing. The plan
- 2:36Speaker 1: he actually has for you is so far greater than
- 2:40Speaker 1: you can possibly imagine. It's really mind blowing. And as
- 2:45Speaker 1: I look back on where He's brought me from and
- 2:50Speaker 1: what he's currently doing for me, all I can do
- 2:53Speaker 1: is tell you is God. That's all I can tell you.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Because I tell you right now, I didn't foresee it.
- 3:00Speaker 1: You know. It oftentimes amazes me when I listened to
- 3:03Speaker 1: celebrities when they interview, how they say, you know, I
- 3:05Speaker 1: always always thought that this would happen for me, and
- 3:08Speaker 1: I just, you know, it could be true, But for me,
- 3:12Speaker 1: it's not that way at all. I didn't imagine it
- 3:18Speaker 1: this way. I had a dream of becoming famous one day,
- 3:24Speaker 1: but I had no idea it would it would ever
- 3:28Speaker 1: get to this. It was a very very simple desire
- 3:32Speaker 1: for fame. I just simply wanted to become one of
- 3:35Speaker 1: the premier stand ups in the country, one of them,
- 3:38Speaker 1: not thee but just one of them. Because you know,
- 3:41Speaker 1: humor is you know, it's I don't know the right word,
- 3:46Speaker 1: but it's an opinion some people, no matter how funny
- 3:51Speaker 1: you are, I think somebody else is funnier than you.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I get that. That's I don't have a problem with that.
- 3:56Speaker 1: It's some people that did not like Richard Pryde. They
- 3:59Speaker 1: just they didn't find his brand of humor to be
- 4:02Speaker 1: funny at all, because it doesn't it didn't tickle their
- 4:05Speaker 1: funny bone. So merely what I wanted in the beginning
- 4:10Speaker 1: was to become one of the premier stand ups in
- 4:13Speaker 1: the country. There is no way I could have seen
- 4:16Speaker 1: all this. There is no way I am telling you
- 4:20Speaker 1: this is. This has been nothing for me but the
- 4:23Speaker 1: grace of God. And all the times I failed, every
- 4:28Speaker 1: time I had fallen, he picked me up, he dusted
- 4:33Speaker 1: me off, and he kept me moving. It has been
- 4:37Speaker 1: an amazing thing to watch God do what he do.
- 4:41Speaker 1: As I look back on my history and you sometimes
- 4:44Speaker 1: look back on your history, you've got to see, man, wow,
- 4:48Speaker 1: what God has done for you and what He's brought
- 4:50Speaker 1: you through to enable you to be where you are.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It is amazing because really, I mean really real talk. Now,
- 4:58Speaker 1: had he allowed all of the decisions I had made
- 5:01Speaker 1: to play all the way out, I could assure you
- 5:04Speaker 1: I wouldn't be here today. But God, through this grace
- 5:08Speaker 1: and mercy, who had a plan for me, who was
- 5:11Speaker 1: just waiting on me to come get in line, and
- 5:14Speaker 1: then he was gonna start emptying. Now he was gonna
- 5:17Speaker 1: start shipping out all the boxes in heaven with my
- 5:21Speaker 1: name on it. And man, what a great god he is,
- 5:24Speaker 1: What a great god he is. And you have boxes
- 5:29Speaker 1: of blessings with your name on it that he is
- 5:32Speaker 1: waiting to ship. But he needs you to go down
- 5:36Speaker 1: there and get in line. That's what it is. It
- 5:40Speaker 1: is not that he has more boxes for other people
- 5:42Speaker 1: than he do you. He got boxes with your name
- 5:45Speaker 1: on it who have never been shipped. Because you will
- 5:48Speaker 1: not get in line to go get him, You will
- 5:51Speaker 1: not ask God for him, you will not do the
- 5:54Speaker 1: things necessary to attain him. We stop our own blessings. Man,
- 5:58Speaker 1: I have been the biggest stopper of my blessings than
- 6:01Speaker 1: anybody else. I can't really get mad at nobody. I
- 6:04Speaker 1: got nobody to blame for my existence but me. But
- 6:08Speaker 1: then at the same time, I can't take credit for this.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I really really can't. I kid you not. I cannot
- 6:15Speaker 1: take credit for it. And if you ever see me
- 6:18Speaker 1: taking credit for it, tap me on the shoulder, say, Steve,
- 6:21Speaker 1: pull up. You Remember you said this ain't about you.
- 6:25Speaker 1: If you catch me taking too much credit, you have
- 6:29Speaker 1: my permission to stop me now here. It is the deal, though,
- 6:34Speaker 1: and this is what I want to get through to
- 6:36Speaker 1: you today. Moving forward while under attack new level, new devil.
- 6:47Speaker 1: You know, every time you go somewhere, every time you
- 6:50Speaker 1: try to progress, every time you make a decision to
- 6:53Speaker 1: be better, to do better, that's going to be a
- 6:55Speaker 1: confrontation you're going to have because it is the enemy's
- 6:59Speaker 1: job to not see you go forward, do better? Won't
- 7:03Speaker 1: more behave yourself. There is a force that is operative
- 7:08Speaker 1: out there that has people working on his behalf twenty
- 7:12Speaker 1: four seven. I mean, just do dirt all day long.
- 7:16Speaker 1: You got a computer, Go read a blog. Just go
- 7:19Speaker 1: read a blog. They're busy man, not knowing, but just
- 7:23Speaker 1: saying evil stuff constantly. That's a job. Well, here's what happens.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I you. We have to always keep moving forward while
- 7:38Speaker 1: we're under attack, because the attack is going to always come.
- 7:45Speaker 1: If you allow the attackers to stop you, you will
- 7:49Speaker 1: lose that particular battle. And you cannot afford this. You know.
- 7:54Speaker 1: My father used to say, be careful when you're trying
- 7:58Speaker 1: to kick somebody off the letter, because you got to
- 8:00Speaker 1: take your foot off too, and you might slip. And
- 8:04Speaker 1: so when people are taking their feet off the ladder,
- 8:07Speaker 1: most something more, the majority, the may't even up own
- 8:09Speaker 1: a ladder. They just at the bottom throwing stuff up
- 8:13Speaker 1: at you. They are just shaking your ladder. They ain't
- 8:16Speaker 1: even they ain't even on your level. Really tell you
- 8:18Speaker 1: the truth, they really not. You have moved on far
- 8:21Speaker 1: beyond them, spiritually, physically, everything. But they are still shaking
- 8:26Speaker 1: your ladder and attacking you. Keep moving forward while under attack,
- 8:31Speaker 1: because the attacks are going to come. If you take
- 8:34Speaker 1: the time to stop and address it, you are impeding
- 8:37Speaker 1: your own progress. This is very important to understand. Go
- 8:42Speaker 1: on about your business and remember Steve Harvey and remember
- 8:47Speaker 1: those of you out there. There is a Bible verse
- 8:49Speaker 1: that helps me out every time. And I don't know why.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I got it on six different plaques sitting all around
- 8:55Speaker 1: my offices. Everywhere I go, I can read it Isaiah
- 8:58Speaker 1: fifty four seventeen. No weapon formed against me. Sheall prosper that,
- 9:03Speaker 1: because this is that he will put me under his
- 9:06Speaker 1: wings or protection. And this is my inheritance as a
- 9:12Speaker 1: servant of the Lord period. I'm his boy, he my man,
- 9:17Speaker 1: so so dig so, so when you come in for me,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I have to just rest on that Lord right there,
- 9:23Speaker 1: that he got it, that no weapon formed against me.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Sheall prosper. I'm just like you. Sometimes, you know, we
- 9:30Speaker 1: know better, but sometimes we don't do better. Man. Let
- 9:33Speaker 1: them say what they're gonna say when they get through
- 9:36Speaker 1: saying it, when they get through writing it, when they
- 9:38Speaker 1: get through talking about you, when they get through lyne
- 9:40Speaker 1: about you. Guess what they're gonna have to do. They're
- 9:43Speaker 1: gonna have to step back and watch your rise. They're
- 9:46Speaker 1: gonna have to kick back and watch what God got
- 9:49Speaker 1: for you. Because nothing God got for you. Can't nobody
- 9:51Speaker 1: stop it. I don't care what they do. Keep moving
- 9:56Speaker 1: forward while under attack. You know something, My tell you something.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Minister Lewis Fakhan taught me something very important one day,
- 10:06Speaker 1: he says, Steve, remember this. He said. It is a
- 10:08Speaker 1: common thing for a dog to bark up at the moon.
- 10:15Speaker 1: But if the moon balks back at the dog, the
- 10:18Speaker 1: dog becomes famous. You feel me, the moon was talking
- 10:23Speaker 1: to you. What did you? How did the moon stop
- 10:27Speaker 1: and talk to you? Don't give them that. Let the
- 10:30Speaker 1: dog bark up at the moon. Don't you be up there?
- 10:32Speaker 1: You go where God got you going. Don't bark back
- 10:35Speaker 1: at this dog because the dog come famous, because they
- 10:37Speaker 1: ain't gonna be able to get to you. But the
- 10:38Speaker 1: dog is famous. Now they want to interview the dog.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Now a dog, guess what he gonna do? More bark
- 10:43Speaker 1: and guess what about you? Man? Gone about your business, y'all.
- 10:47Speaker 1: God is in the blessing business all day. Long man.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Go get in line, get you some get them packages
- 10:53Speaker 1: and boxes ship to you. They got your name on it,
- 10:56Speaker 1: waiting on you. You're listening. Morning ladies and gentlemen. It's
- 11:05Speaker 1: attention time. It's moaning time. Steve Vrvey Morning Show. Good
- 11:13Speaker 1: morning everybody. Hope you all have yourself a good day
- 11:16Speaker 1: to day. One thing I'd like to offer as a
- 11:19Speaker 1: suggestion to date to coach your mind from negativity. There's
- 11:26Speaker 1: a coding that you can put on your mind that
- 11:28Speaker 1: protects it against negativity. The coding that you can put
- 11:33Speaker 1: over your mind that protects you against negativity is called gratitude.
- 11:38Speaker 1: If you wake up in the morning and you go
- 11:40Speaker 1: down the list of things that you could be grateful
- 11:43Speaker 1: for wherever you live, whoever you work, whatever you drive,
- 11:47Speaker 1: whatever you drive, whatever you wear, whatever you're able to eat,
- 11:50Speaker 1: whatever measure of health you have, your children, your relationships,
- 11:55Speaker 1: people you can count on, your friendships. Just go down
- 11:58Speaker 1: the list. Yeah, once you're grateful, it coats your mind.
- 12:04Speaker 1: It's the best anti negative coding available to mad I
- 12:10Speaker 1: read that one day and it taught me a great deal.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Good morning, Shirley stro Good morning, Steve. Thank you for that.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Thank you it's good news. Call it for real. I
- 12:20Speaker 1: like it, Steve, You're dropping jewels. Inspirational moment then right here,

- 13:14Speaker 1: hosting the show that song, just to keep it moving,
- 13:19Speaker 1: that's what you do. Damn looking forward to it though,
- 13:22Speaker 1: because one of them damn performance is that damn blew

- 13:39Speaker 1: what what the name of your eventing? Well, it ain't
- 13:43Speaker 1: my event. Well ain't you working at it? I ain't
- 13:46Speaker 1: selling tickets? Where they buying ticket? Where can people get tickets? Date?
- 13:50Speaker 1: I have no idea. What's the capacities state? Same as
- 13:54Speaker 1: it was for the Super Bowl? Loo, that's not telling

- 14:23Speaker 1: to help change people's lives in the Atlanta area. Yeah,

- 16:22Speaker 1: I get the bottom here. All right, Next question, Carla, alright,
- 16:27Speaker 1: finish the statement, Steve. Spring is finally here, and I'm
- 16:32Speaker 1: going to get naked. You didn't come on here, man, boy,
- 16:45Speaker 1: I'm back. I got to do it. I don't give
- 16:53Speaker 1: it down spring one or summer? Have it this year back?
- 16:59Speaker 1: I'm remember my wardrobe round. I've been tired of dressing
- 17:02Speaker 1: for daytime television and talk shows, game show. Then I'm through. Okay,
- 17:08Speaker 1: the pimp is back. Okay, okay, okay, So let that
- 17:12Speaker 1: brains up this next question. If you were single? Now
- 17:18Speaker 1: that's a big elf. So we just just a hypothetical.
- 17:22Speaker 1: This is just here we go. Yeah, no whole hold on.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Let me clear my mind out now, because I gotta
- 17:27Speaker 1: stop thanking marriage in heaven. Yeah this aint answer hill.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. If I ain't considered marriage or heaven, I
- 17:34Speaker 1: can answer this a little bit more free. Come on,
- 17:36Speaker 1: all right, If you were single, who would you like
- 17:40Speaker 1: to have a spring? Fleeing whips? See that's good. It
- 17:49Speaker 1: can get him in trouble for this question. Trouble, but man,
- 17:55Speaker 1: answer because it's your job. How old am I? Little time?
- 18:02Speaker 1: Oh man, let's make that thing right, you know, grown forty? Yeah,
- 18:08Speaker 1: they lead a dope wide. I'm all back down and
- 18:12Speaker 1: put it. Help him. Tommy going in them twenties, I
- 18:17Speaker 1: probably I'd probably be dating about for them girls on
- 18:23Speaker 1: Instagram of the I don't know, for them little girls
- 18:30Speaker 1: off into under forty eight. Yeah, stuff like that. You got.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Let's switch it up there, I know that's that's we
- 18:43Speaker 1: got that. Let's switch it up. Uh. What makes you
- 18:47Speaker 1: both happy and sad at the same time? Say it again?
- 18:52Speaker 1: What makes you both happy and say it at the
- 18:56Speaker 1: same time. Yeah, that's it. Sick when I'm doing it,
- 19:05Speaker 1: sad when it's over. It's got to be over at
- 19:15Speaker 1: some point. Well, all right, Steve, here's another one. What
- 19:24Speaker 1: what's the stupid You've done something really stupid and hurt yourself?
- 19:28Speaker 1: What was that? How did something like a stupid dumb
- 19:31Speaker 1: thing you did and you wind it wound up hurting
- 19:34Speaker 1: yourself and dang it hurt yourself. I tell you. When
- 19:38Speaker 1: I was a kid, I was riding bike down the
- 19:40Speaker 1: street one time and this girl was on the port
- 19:45Speaker 1: named Michelle. Okay, and you know how you ride with
- 19:48Speaker 1: no hands? Oh yeah, And I was riding down the
- 19:51Speaker 1: street with no hands and she looking at me, so
- 19:53Speaker 1: I tried to look at her and just look at her.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Was like, yeah, I see you looking at me. And
- 19:58Speaker 1: it was a station wagon it was parked and my
- 20:03Speaker 1: bike had drifted over and the bike slammed into the
- 20:06Speaker 1: back of the station wagon. The rear window on the
- 20:09Speaker 1: station wagon was down. My ass flew all the way
- 20:13Speaker 1: up to the second seat. When I set up, my
- 20:16Speaker 1: ass was damn near dry. I shot through that wonderful
- 20:22Speaker 1: skin the top of my head. I had long hair
- 20:24Speaker 1: cut anyway back then, and told my knees up on
- 20:27Speaker 1: the thing. I was bleeding on head and both legs
- 20:30Speaker 1: when I set up in that car. That was a
- 20:33Speaker 1: pretty bad one from me right on the show off
- 20:35Speaker 1: for her. All right, Carla, what is the worst food
- 20:41Speaker 1: and drink combination that I've ever had? Yeah? I had
- 20:49Speaker 1: a Mister Hero sandwich one time in Cleveland, extra onions.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Some of the meat on the sandwich I had and
- 21:00Speaker 1: was tainty. Oh, and I had a large grape soda.
- 21:06Speaker 1: I ate that whole twelve inch HOGI and that whole
- 21:10Speaker 1: can of Phantom grape solda. That was about ten o'clock
- 21:14Speaker 1: at night, two thirty. I was trying to make it
- 21:19Speaker 1: downstairs to that bathroom. I threw a purple sandwich meat
- 21:25Speaker 1: all down the damn hallway. That's the worst eating combination overhand.
- 21:33Speaker 1: And I never forget that Mister Hero sandwich, but that
- 21:37Speaker 1: purple Fantom grape solder. All right, thank you? Steve. That's
- 21:41Speaker 1: all for, asked Steve. Coming up next, more fun with
- 21:44Speaker 1: the nephew run that prank back right after this. You're
- 21:48Speaker 1: listening all right, coming up at the top of the hour,

- 22:02Speaker 1: You better go, yeah, Jay, get a drama sung right right?
- 22:08Speaker 1: And New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has rejected the
- 22:11Speaker 1: deal in the prostitution case. Why's all these rejects? Yeah,
- 22:16Speaker 1: but right now you just are Why are they rejecting
- 22:20Speaker 1: every anyway? Right now? You are here, sir, in the
- 22:24Speaker 1: building to run that prank back? What you got Now

- 22:34Speaker 1: you're gonna be in the real Sung. But today is

- 22:40Speaker 1: reach get it out of there. Here we go. Hello, Hello,
- 22:44Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a Brian. Brian. Yeah, yeah, Hey Brian,
- 22:47Speaker 1: this was doctor Jacob. Are you doing today, Yeah, yeah,
- 22:50Speaker 1: I'm doing. Come to the value that I'm doing here. Okay, listen,
- 22:54Speaker 1: you actually came in, uh maybe like two and a
- 22:57Speaker 1: half weeks ago here to my office and got a
- 22:59Speaker 1: physical for for life insurance. Yeah yeah, yeah, right right
- 23:02Speaker 1: yeah everything okay, well yeah, yeah, everything's gonna be pretty good.
- 23:05Speaker 1: I'd like to see if I can get you to
- 23:07Speaker 1: come in and everything's gonna be fine. But I got
- 23:10Speaker 1: a small procedure we'd like to do to actually, uh
- 23:14Speaker 1: you know right now, you're not approved for your life
- 23:15Speaker 1: insurance to do until this procedure has done, So if
- 23:18Speaker 1: you don't mind coming in, we we'd like to get
- 23:21Speaker 1: you jakeing care. When can I schedule you to come
- 23:23Speaker 1: in like a maybe tomorrow or the following day? Yeah?
- 23:26Speaker 1: What what kind of procedure is? Well? Actually, I don't
- 23:29Speaker 1: know if you've heard of it. This is an okayosh
- 23:31Speaker 1: for me? No, I got something? What's that's my eyes?
- 23:35Speaker 1: What's that? So it's something? Dude? You wasn't that I'm
- 23:38Speaker 1: doing my eyes? I ain't heard what's what's that? No? No,
- 23:41Speaker 1: okayost for me has nothing to do with the eyes, No,
- 23:43Speaker 1: nothing at all. We found a little bit of parasites
- 23:47Speaker 1: in a particular area, and what we want to do
- 23:49Speaker 1: is make sure we just remove it completely and you'll
- 23:53Speaker 1: be fine. You'll get your life insurance here and your
- 23:55Speaker 1: family will be great. So can I get you to
- 23:57Speaker 1: come in tomorrow? Maybe Thursday afternoon? What what area? I
- 24:01Speaker 1: found a parasite? Then? Actually one of your testicles has
- 24:05Speaker 1: some parasites. So what we're gonna do is what's called
- 24:07Speaker 1: a okayoshtromy and okayoshtrim me is actually removing that testicle
- 24:12Speaker 1: completely and then everything gonna be fine. It's all confined
- 24:16Speaker 1: and we'll be able to remove it. You'll be on
- 24:17Speaker 1: your way, you'll get your life insurance and everything will
- 24:20Speaker 1: be fine. Okay, Like I said, can I get can I?
- 24:22Speaker 1: Can I get you to come in tomorrow? What you
- 24:25Speaker 1: got my testicle? Well? Only one? Only one, and it's
- 24:29Speaker 1: not going to take long. It's a thirty minute procedure.
- 24:31Speaker 1: But we want to get you to come in tomorrow
- 24:33Speaker 1: or the next day and we get you to what
- 24:36Speaker 1: they are you available? If I didn't want it for
- 24:38Speaker 1: the routine show, I will remove it. So you know what,
- 24:41Speaker 1: Oftentimes when people come in for life insurance, these type
- 24:44Speaker 1: of things happen. So we want to get you in
- 24:46Speaker 1: and get it out as quickly as possible. And nah, man,
- 24:50Speaker 1: I'm wanting for a routine physical Mayne, I weren't supposed
- 24:52Speaker 1: to be checking off this extra stiff man, I get

- 25:15Speaker 1: I can't. Nah, I ain't gonna. I can't come in
- 25:17Speaker 1: for that, Na, sir, Is there any way I can
- 25:20Speaker 1: get you in the morrow or tomorrow afternoon or a
- 25:23Speaker 1: Thursday afternoon so we can kind of get this thing
- 25:25Speaker 1: taken care of and we can get you moving on
- 25:27Speaker 1: your way, and that people can get the life insurance
- 25:29Speaker 1: papers together and so forth. Nah man, Man, we ain't
- 25:32Speaker 1: rescheduling now. I need a second or third opinion on that.

- 26:10Speaker 1: I told you, man, I ain't ain't going in for
- 26:12Speaker 1: none of that. Man. I'm SUPs to tell my wife, Man,
- 26:14Speaker 1: this this ain't cool. Man, I ain't going in for that. Man.
- 26:16Speaker 1: I'm rescheduling it. Man, you're reschling. What do you mean

- 26:47Speaker 1: when we didn't realize that you had parasites in a
- 26:49Speaker 1: particular area. So what we're trying, I'm not I don't
- 26:52Speaker 1: even I'm trying to make the light of make humor

- 34:21Speaker 1: you did. Heavy flooding is also a problem in Iowa
- 34:27Speaker 1: and eastern Nebraska, where the governor there, Pete Rickets, says
- 34:30Speaker 1: that all this is unprecedented. This is the most widespread
- 34:33Speaker 1: natural disaster we've ever had in our states history. We
- 34:37Speaker 1: are now up to seventy four counties and eighty five
- 34:40Speaker 1: cities who have declared an emergency, and that is well
- 34:43Speaker 1: in excess of seventy five percent of our states counties.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Rickis says the damage estimates in his states is already
- 34:49Speaker 1: in the hundreds of millions of dollars. That's Nebraska, one
- 34:51Speaker 1: hundreds of millions of dollars already. The Supreme Court's unusually
- 34:54Speaker 1: quiet African American Justice Clarence Thomas uttered a few words yesterday.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Thomas asked questions a discussion about racial discrimination in the South.
- 35:02Speaker 1: The case centers around a black death row inmate in
- 35:05Speaker 1: Mississippi who has been tried six times for murder. The
- 35:08Speaker 1: white prosecutor in the case known for striking all black
- 35:11Speaker 1: people off his juries, just as Thomas's question whether the
- 35:15Speaker 1: inmate's attorney had made similar decisions, and if so, what
- 35:18Speaker 1: race were the jurors that he eliminated from the jury pool.
- 35:21Speaker 1: That's what Clarence Thomas had to say. President Trump made
- 35:24Speaker 1: a trip to Ohio yesterday, a key battled ground state
- 35:27Speaker 1: in the upcoming election. As expected, he talks about the economy.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Companies are coming back into our country. They want the action.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Production is ramping up in the biggest way, and the
- 35:38Speaker 1: awesome m One Abrahams tank is once again thundering down
- 35:43Speaker 1: the assembly line. Promoting job growth and manufacturing was one
- 35:47Speaker 1: of Trump's campaign promises in twenty sixteen, especially in the Midwest.
- 35:51Speaker 1: But Trump also spent at least five minutes of his
- 35:53Speaker 1: speech making some more not so flattering comments about a
- 35:56Speaker 1: certain statesman, the late Senator John McCain. I gave him
- 36:00Speaker 1: the kind of funeral that he wanted, which as president,
- 36:03Speaker 1: I had to approve. I don't care about this. I
- 36:06Speaker 1: didn't get thank you. That's okay. We sent him on
- 36:08Speaker 1: the way. But I wasn't a fan of John mckinn.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Some Republicans are calling the insult that Trump's keeps heaping
- 36:14Speaker 1: on the lay senator he was in the Vietnam War hero.
- 36:17Speaker 1: They called these insults deplorable on Trump's part. The White
- 36:22Speaker 1: House denying accusations made by a former Trump's staff or
- 36:24Speaker 1: a black woman who claims the President may unwanted advances
- 36:27Speaker 1: toward her in twenty sixteen and who was now suing him.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Albert Johnson's story, first reporter by The Washington Post, says
- 36:33Speaker 1: that Trump kissed her without her consent in a campaign
- 36:35Speaker 1: RV in Tampa, Florida, just before rally. However, the Washington
- 36:39Speaker 1: Post found no corroboration, they say of her story, saying
- 36:42Speaker 1: that those inside the RV that day say they saw
- 36:44Speaker 1: nothing inappropriate. Albert Johnson also says she was subjected to
- 36:47Speaker 1: both racial and gender discrimination US Food and Drug Administration
- 36:51Speaker 1: just to prove the new drug to treat posts to
- 36:53Speaker 1: treat rather postpartum depression. And finally, Shirley said Library of
- 36:57Speaker 1: Congress announcing the addition of twenty five more recording to

- 37:05Speaker 1: recorded by Sam and Dave but written by Isaac Cason.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Dave Porter, A lot of stuff like that in the
- 37:09Speaker 1: Callaway music Curtis Mayfield and even the speech by the way,
- 37:13Speaker 1: Robert F. Kennedy. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:16Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Uh, Steve, this is really great news.
- 37:22Speaker 1: If you have a pink Cadillac or any other kind
- 37:25Speaker 1: of wheels, you'll soon be able to drive down a
- 37:28Speaker 1: Michigan highway named in honor of the Queen of Soul.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Yes, The Michigan State Legislature voted
- 37:42Speaker 1: overwhelmingly to rename a Detroit area stretch of M ten
- 37:46Speaker 1: as Areta L. Franklin Memorial Highway. You got me right,
- 37:56Speaker 1: and it was funny. Okay. After that one on one
- 37:58Speaker 1: to six vote, the bill moves to the state Senate
- 38:01Speaker 1: for final approval. The six no votes all came from
- 38:04Speaker 1: Republican legislators, legislators, one of whom said he thinks the
- 38:08Speaker 1: honors should be reversed for first responders and military veterans.
- 38:13Speaker 1: The Senate is expected to agree to rename the stretch
- 38:16Speaker 1: of road which starts New New Betho Baptist Church. Listen
- 38:20Speaker 1: to it, yeah, and the people it's MOHIWI. Yeah, but
- 38:29Speaker 1: I know what the City of Detroit meant to Aretha. Well,
- 38:33Speaker 1: let's voted, it's approved, so yeah, it's happening. Yeah. The vote, Uh,
- 38:40Speaker 1: one on one to six, That's what I said. It
- 38:44Speaker 1: came from all Republicans who one but now a lot
- 38:46Speaker 1: of Republicans did vote for me. Yeah, absolutely, So it
- 38:49Speaker 1: was just six Republicans who Yeah, it's not just one
- 38:52Speaker 1: hundred and one Democrats and six Republicans. Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 38:57Speaker 1: it was one on one to six. Yeah, the six
- 39:00Speaker 1: votes all did come from Republican legislators. But everybody voted. Yes, Steve,
- 39:04Speaker 1: you're correct, Yeah, I do that. Also in the news,
- 39:11Speaker 1: Robert kraft has decided to roll the dice. He's going
- 39:14Speaker 1: to take his chances. He has rejected the deal in
- 39:17Speaker 1: his solicitation case. You know, Robert Krafty New England's Patriots owner. Uh,
- 39:22Speaker 1: he rejected a deal in his solicitation case that would
- 39:25Speaker 1: have basically let him off scott free. Tuesday, prosecutors in
- 39:29Speaker 1: Florida made an offer in which the case would be
- 39:31Speaker 1: suspended as long as he admitted that he could be
- 39:34Speaker 1: found guilty. Uh, gets tested for STDs, complete an education
- 39:39Speaker 1: course about prostitution, and does one hundred hours of community
- 39:44Speaker 1: service and no he did that. He has the money
- 39:54Speaker 1: to make it go away. Huh is that what he got?
- 39:57Speaker 1: He got the money for the lawyers that's gonna come
- 39:59Speaker 1: up with some st off to say to make what
- 40:01Speaker 1: you say not sounded good? Is what Dason? All Right,
- 40:05Speaker 1: we gotta get out of here. Coming up at thirty
- 40:07Speaker 1: four after the hour, we're going to talk to you,
- 40:09Speaker 1: Steve about pursuing your dream as you welcome in the
- 40:13Speaker 1: twenty nineteen class of Disney Dreamer's Academy. You're listening to
- 40:20Speaker 1: show so Lollapaloosa is headlined by several larger than life artists.

- 40:34Speaker 1: Childish Gambino, Lol, Wayne meek Mill, Janelle Monet. These are
- 40:39Speaker 1: big names, twenty one Savage and more. But none of
- 40:42Speaker 1: these artists are bigger in stature anyway than NBA Hall
- 40:47Speaker 1: of Famer Shaquille O'Neill. We all remember that Shaq had
- 40:51Speaker 1: dabbled in music throughout his NBA career. Remember his platinum
- 40:55Speaker 1: album titled Shack Diesel way back in nineteen ninety three.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Remember that well, Shack is now DJ. Diesel and Lollapalooza

- 54:50Speaker 1: letter live on the air, just like we're gonna be
- 54:52Speaker 1: reading this one today. Buggle up, hold on tight. We
- 54:56Speaker 1: got it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 54:58Speaker 1: And as I mentioned, I really he don't appreciate this subject.
- 55:01Speaker 1: But here goes my wife's cooking is going to kill us.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Or he didn't write it. That was not funny. He
- 55:12Speaker 1: did not. I know he didn't, it, says dear Stephen Shirley.
- 55:16Speaker 1: Please help me handle an issue with my wife. We
- 55:20Speaker 1: are in our thirties and have been married twelve years,
- 55:22Speaker 1: and we have two children. See right there. We have
- 55:25Speaker 1: a great relationship. But there's just one issue. She cannot cook,
- 55:32Speaker 1: not even a little bit. I'm not saying it's her job.
- 55:35Speaker 1: As a woman. I love to throw down in the
- 55:38Speaker 1: kitchen when I have time, but I'm currently the only
- 55:41Speaker 1: one working. She has insisted on taking care of the
- 55:45Speaker 1: family meals until she gets a new job, and that's
- 55:48Speaker 1: very nice of her, but her food is terrible. She
- 55:52Speaker 1: tried to make eggs for us and they were runny
- 55:55Speaker 1: and milky. When she tried to grill some chicken, it
- 55:58Speaker 1: turned out burnt on the outside and raw on the inside.
- 56:02Speaker 1: We are spending twice as much on groceries because she
- 56:06Speaker 1: experiments in the kitchen, and we have to replace most
- 56:09Speaker 1: of her meal creations. She's really trying, and I don't
- 56:13Speaker 1: want to hurt her feelings. But one time she made
- 56:15Speaker 1: oatmeal and our eight year old son yelled, dang, Mama,
- 56:19Speaker 1: what's in this stuff? Of course I had to reprimand him,
- 56:23Speaker 1: reprimand him for being rude, but I definitely understood what
- 56:27Speaker 1: he meant. I have suggested that we buy premate meals
- 56:31Speaker 1: or we go out to eat until she takes a
- 56:34Speaker 1: cooking class of some kind. That hurt her feelings, So
- 56:37Speaker 1: now I'm scared to bring up the subject again. Eating
- 56:40Speaker 1: together should be a good time, not scary or stressful.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Now the kids are begging to sneak and eat out
- 56:48Speaker 1: before we get home. Whenever I picked them up from
- 56:51Speaker 1: school or soccer practice. How can I get my wife
- 56:54Speaker 1: to stop wasting food and money without killing her confidence?
- 56:58Speaker 1: The kids and I need help? Please advise? See there,
- 57:02Speaker 1: this wasn't for me first though. I have to give
- 57:05Speaker 1: you love the man, the husband who wrote this letter,
- 57:08Speaker 1: because I think you're very kind. I think you're very
- 57:10Speaker 1: patient husband. Twelve years is a very long time to
- 57:14Speaker 1: put up with this bad cooking. But you didn't know
- 57:17Speaker 1: this before you guys got married, that she didn't cook.
- 57:20Speaker 1: You didn't know. It seems like you had to know
- 57:22Speaker 1: some of this. And since you say you can throw
- 57:25Speaker 1: down in the kitchen, you did say that. You said
- 57:28Speaker 1: I can throw down in the kitchen when I have time.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Why haven't you like taught her, or tried to teach
- 57:33Speaker 1: her a few things, at least to cook some eggs
- 57:36Speaker 1: in her case, Since you say you don't want to
- 57:38Speaker 1: hurt her feelings, you suggested a cooking class at one time,
- 57:42Speaker 1: and she was hurt by that. I don't know. I
- 57:46Speaker 1: think in this case it'll be how you tell her
- 57:49Speaker 1: and not so much you know what you do. In
- 57:53Speaker 1: this case, it's how I can tell you love her
- 57:56Speaker 1: very much. But you're you're really gonna have to sit
- 57:58Speaker 1: her down and trying to help her out in this situation.
- 58:02Speaker 1: You can make, you know, a fun a day of it,
- 58:05Speaker 1: trying to teach her how to just cook a few things.
- 58:07Speaker 1: You said that she likes to experiment, So why don't
- 58:10Speaker 1: you guys experiment together? But you know how, and you'll
- 58:13Speaker 1: be helping her in a nice way. Steve. Yeah, well, yo,
- 58:16Speaker 1: let's gonna cut this out. Let's gonna keep playing with this, y'all.
- 58:19Speaker 1: We know who this letter about. Let's just gonna hey,
- 58:23Speaker 1: ain't your turn no more? Come on? You know my
- 58:26Speaker 1: wife's cooking is gonna kill us. We know exactly who
- 58:30Speaker 1: this damn letter is about. That Poe has little Nesto
- 58:33Speaker 1: then had to describe and talk about the gay kids
- 58:36Speaker 1: and just a damn lie. I know the writings of
- 58:43Speaker 1: a man that's in pain, and this is Sherley's husband
- 58:49Speaker 1: that then rode in. I promise you I have proof
- 58:52Speaker 1: all through the letter. Dear Stephen Shenley. Why is he
- 58:57Speaker 1: talking to her like he don't know? That's a good
- 59:00Speaker 1: part right there, because don't you see through that? I
- 59:05Speaker 1: see that he tries help me handl an issue with
- 59:09Speaker 1: my wife. We are in our thirties with ans on it,
- 59:13Speaker 1: and have been married twelve years and we have two children.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Y'all don't see the gladly glaring hints in this. I
- 59:25Speaker 1: see what is thirty plus twelve? Manu's two? Okay, always
- 59:43Speaker 1: carry it. But there's just one issue. She cannot cook,
- 59:50Speaker 1: not even a little. Who else could this be about.
- 59:57Speaker 1: I'm not saying that's her job as a woman, exactly.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I love to throw down in the kitchen when I
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: had the time. Ain't y'all HEARDing us time? Yes he do,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: I heard him say. But I'm currently the only one working.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: That's cold for I'm the only one working in the kitchen.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: She has insisted on taking care of the family meals
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: until she gets a new job, and that's very nice
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: of her. Now, see, this is where he tries to
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: throw us off so we don't think we're talking about them.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: But he gets right back to it. But her food
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: is terrible, old do y'all know this could be? She
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: tried to make egg for us. Now, I think we've
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: all been here then when Shirley made them eggs, they
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: were running and milky, just how she made her It
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: was a mistake when she tried to grill some chicken.
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: It turned out burnt on the outside, and roll the
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: damn it all us hands, simmon them sick as hell.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: We're spending twice as much on groceries because she experiments
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: in the kitchen. Remember the time Sherley over refrigerate and
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: discovered it was cardboard in there because she just moved in,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: but it was like she had been living there for
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: six months. She found out it was cardboard in refrigerator
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: because it was I mean cardboard in the oven because
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: it was a new apartment. Remember that. You know that's true,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: that she's really trying, But I don't want to hurt
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: her feeling, because you know how Sherley is now, she's sensing.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: But one time she made oatmeal and our eight year
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: old son that substitute for him. Nesto said, one time
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: you made oatmeal, and I yeah, damn mamma for sending
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: the stump, because you are sometimes, you know, nest don't
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: call her mama. Damn mamma for sending the stump. Of
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: course I had to reprimand him. All right, we gotta
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: go alogize. We'll have part two of Stee's response coming
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: up right after this. Uh subject of today's letter, my
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: wife's cooking is going to kill us? You're listening to
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: all right, Steve. Let's recap today's Strawberry letter subject my
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: wife's cooking is going to kill us? Well, just because
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: you know, I just think we all we tired of
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: playing hood. My wife's cooking gonna kill him. I'm sorry, Nesto,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I'm sorry. She trying to kill you. Dog. I walked
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: her non cooking ass down the hole in hand, hood.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: That's why I'm so much time with your damn. The
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: whole time I was walking down the aisle, I heard
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: a whole different song. You know, dude, dude, Dune. That
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: ain't what I heard. What do you mean the whole
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: time we're walking down the aisle, Yeah, everybody was hearing
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: his head dune. Yeah, dude, everybody's purchasing. You know what
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I heard? What Peppy? Who gives this woman to this man?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Did it? Man? Hell man? I'm sorry. It is terrible.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: This is the mistake. To Nesto, he suggested that we
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: buy pre maden heels or go out to eat until
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: she takes a cooking class or some kind. Yeah. That
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: hurt her feeling, well, Damnon, Nesto, ain't you hurt? Now
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: we all hurt. Stick to your guns, brother, Make her
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: take the cookie class. Now heard it so bad? Now
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: she tripping all that house, trying to kick him in time,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: she said, Now he's scared to bring up. Suck you
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: a get. Then he says to us, eating should be
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: a good time, not scary or stress y'all. Remember when
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: should have got that croc pop? Yeah? Ye, stuff that
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: they been in that croc pop? That was classic. Remember
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: the time they still open it up and saying wise
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: all the phone in him steaking there? Who puts steak
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: in a damn croc pot? Who do that? You can
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: greal a steak, You can put the steak in on
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: the brawler in the oven? Who put a steak? A
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: whole damn steak in a croc pop? You don't want? Now?
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: The kids just begging to sneak out and eat before
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: they get home. That's cold for now. I try to
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: eat out for I get home. Yeah, that's funny, because
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: I do ask him, as he hungry when he gets
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: in already, how can I get my wife to stop
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: wasting food and money without killing her comfort? I see
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: this whole letter, You know what I see this letter,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: ass Tom. I see this as an altar call, won't
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: you come? I see it all of you that are
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: burden heavy ly, tired and weary of running this race
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: by yourself, not knowing where your last meal will come from.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: That's right. This is a little about a woman who
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: didn't take the time as a little girl. That's right
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: to learn some basic basics off taking care of not
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: only a man, but of even herself. He stayed in
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: the house. I have eaten at Sister sherley house before.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: I must say I understand the reason for the letter.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: I know what the man is going through. I know
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: what Sherley can't do. Cooking in one thing she never
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: been able to do. Sherley cooked so bad. I remember
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: one time a Sister Sherley was doing missionary work. She
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: was down at the state penitentiary. I was a little
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: curious as to or what her role would be down
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: at the prison. I thought maybe as a special punishment,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: maybe when a man got put in the hole, that
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: they would only offer her Sister Sherley's dishes. I even
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: thought one time that if you got put on a
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: certain range, that they would wait till you were late
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: to coming down for a supper that Sister Shirley would
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: be the only one. But then I found out why
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Sister Shirley was bought in. It was for money saving reason.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: I'm not because they had Shirley working on death row
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: and every time they would ask a man, what is
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: your last meal? They rolled out a picture Sister Shirley
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: as the chef on death row. Every land one of
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: them is I don't want them to eat. I'm a
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: pass ye take me. Oh see, my maker. I'd rather
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: go to Heaven hungry than to go to hell fool.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: And that's why Sister Sherley worked out at the state penitentiary.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Oh dear my Lord. All right, listen, we're about out
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: of time. Thank the Lord. You can email or instagram

- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Get that bad boy, stop playing with the Baby's not
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: a gag fun even you got a little passion sta.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: That's what we gonna do. Stay because I know you
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: got your income tax check. Let's go over the costco
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: and get some of them gigantic lobster legs. Did you
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: see that on y'all got three pounds lops the hands?
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: What bigger than bigger than the red lobster inglewood right
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: across from the race track. The genetically motified. I don't
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: know what they are, but I'm gonna eat them. I'm
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: gonna eat them. But oh, I'm gonna take my blood
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: pressure medicine and bought my cholesterol. We're about to eat
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: a gigantic crap cloud lips. The cloud Cosco got him.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: They reasonably priced and they say the close they get
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: to the summer, the more they gonna have and the
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: price gonna go go down. So that's how we celebrating stage.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Oh yeah, who is that? J oh Jamie is Yeah,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: that's where and then what he was is that where
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: he was? Same difference, same difference, same difference, same enjoy
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: yourself like Jackson. So um, listen, Okay, yeah, girl, you
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: gotta do you think that Kelly and Conway and her
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: husband gonna break up over Trump's I hope, I hope not, sir.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: I okay, I think it's I think it's a hustle.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Let me tell you what I think it is. Come.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: I think that Kelly and Conways and her husband. See
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: the husband used to do bid to deal with Trump's, right,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: that's right, so they he was a lawyer. So I
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: think they hustled this to go. Look, I'm gonna talk
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: against him, so my Twitter followers to go up because
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: he only had about two thousand followers. Then when he
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: started going at Trump's, he got like five hundred thousands,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: some crazy number that don't nobody else as doing what
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: he's doing. So then I think they was in the
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: wee wee. I was talking about looking I'm gonna talk
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: against him, then you gonna keep your job and get
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: his check by talking for him. Then he gonna think
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: that he messing with our lives and we're really taking
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: money from him. I believe it's a hustle what y'all think.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: I believe you. I believe. I think you're right, Cheryl,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: I really do, because I mean, any other person probably
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: would have quit their job by now or something that
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: I'm sorry because he called the president, called their husband
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: a loser, husband from a husband been from hell. Yeah,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: how do you talk about somebody's husband like that? If
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: you can't do that, boss, listen, let me tell you something.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Jeb Bush would be president today if he just would
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: have walked on the stage in the debate and stole
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: lo on Donald Trump. You know it's stay hard, respect
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: your boot, keep her name out your mouth. Listen. I'm
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: getting ready for Joe Biden. If you really want to
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: see a race, Joe Biden's my boy, and I want
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: him with Kamala. I want him with Kamala. That's a
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: winning hand right there. That's the brick house. You know
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: what I said, The same thing got a house suster
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: on the ticket. You ain't gonna win without a Suster
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: on the ticket, It's not gonna happen. So I think
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Joe Biden and he liked black women, he liked black women,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: he liked black George W. Bush, I mean, the vice president,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: though he should vat had he should bad Hart because
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: I like the way she talked, and you know, and
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I like all the what she's staying for. But I
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: like m list too. I like, oh, and you're gonna
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: hear me talk about a lot of stuff when I'm
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: at chuckles in two weeks I'm at ilad me. Now
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: they got good piece of chickenway. But back to the
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: politics of it, I just think Joe Biden need to
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: get his money again. Batchel or Roy, you can raise money,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Bernard signed us, you can raise money. But we need
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: another old white man that know how to talk to
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: crazy white man. Joe Biden is the dude that's gonna
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: say some real crazy mess to Trump. Yes, that's what
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: we need. That's what we need, because that's what we need. See, sir,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: you know what I want to I'm truly gonna do
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: it this way. This time, I'm backing the best person
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: for the job. That's right. I'm backing the best person
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: for the job. That's who I'm gonna get behind. I'm
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: gonna listen to what everybody got to say. Yea. And
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: at the end of the day, yep, I'm banking who
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: who is going to be best for the job and
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: who can guarantee me that they can be trouble. Yeah,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: that's it, because man, this guy is a president. He's
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: so unpresidential the way he's doing that. The burial of
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: John McKenna, it's really it's disgraceful, man, disgrace It was
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: just August when he died, right or when he was buried,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: when they had his funeral. His family is still grieving
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: seven months and this man, our president, is still going
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: in on him, criticizing him, saying he never liked him
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: and he never will. I mean, the man has passed.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: Jack Man, just some level of decency's back to the
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: White House, because you know, you couldn't talk about none
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: of my deceased relatives whatever mons within the funeral, whether
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: I like them or not. Not. Man, listen, and to
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: take off of work, and you know they don't even
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: give you bereathment no more. You know that because you
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: usually to bring the program and get breathing. So I'm
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: still mad about that. All right, Cheryl, talk about my offer, Junior.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: What we gotta get out of here? I interrupt you.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: I'm sorry not to interrupting. I'm sorry. I was having
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: the moment Scrawberry by my uncle Junior. Really girl, Thank you, Cheryl,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: We love you. Cosco. All right, coming up at the
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: top of the hour, Carla is here with reality update.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening, get ready to get ready.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: She is here color Fell with what reality update? All right,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. Here we go Real Housewives of the
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: atl Atlanta. So your girl, Shamar Devot. This is Ronnie
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: Davout's wife from new edition b v D. All of that.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: She dropped by a Ninie's store, you know her boutique
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: swag with Yes, she has a clothing boutique, yes, sir, yeah,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: uh huh in Atlanta. So Shamari dropped by with a
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: bottle of Saint Germaine in her hand, as I guess,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: a piece, offering to apologize for getting lit college freshman
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: wasted Germaine throwing up on Yeah, on Eva's shoes, right
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: and Nini's by wig party, remember that, right, Shirley closet gate, yes,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: all of that. So she apologized, and she her basic
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: excuse was, you know, she was out, she let her
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: hair down. She's a mom, she's wife, and you know
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: she shouldn't have went there and got that drunk. So anyway,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: the big thing was a big celebration is Eva. Eva
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: got married. She had a beautiful wedding. She was a
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: beautiful bride. She cried, Oh Lord, this girl cried walking
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: down up, I know, walking down the aisle. Her and
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: her fiance or her groom, mister Michael Sterling. They wrote
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: their own vials. It was really beautiful. And then you
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Nini was there to make a toast. She was supposed
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: to make a toast. So she was there sitting there
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: watching the wedding, y'all. And the problem that I had,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: I guess Nini was overwhelmed with emotions because she's telling
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: everybody that her and Greg are still having issues, and
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: I guess they had a little argument or a little
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: disagreement before the wedding. So now Ninie's at this girl's wedding,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: reminiscing about her wedding ceremony. Did you see that they
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: showed scenes from Ninie's wedding. You're supposed to do that
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: to win, right, talk about I just thought it was
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: mere we headed it man your grooms when he got
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: some ragged ass too, who picked these colors? But that's
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: not what she was reminiscent about. She was thinking about
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: the good moments of her wedding to Greg, to her husband,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: but then all the troubles that her and Greg are having.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: She admitted to some of the ladies on the show,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: especially to Cynthia, that her and Greg discussed separating. So
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: it was a lot for her to get up there,
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: to have all these type of emotions and then make
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: a toast, and then Cynthia said, what does she say,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: you are already in separate beds, bedrooms. I don't even
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: know if the producers want at all that. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: do you mean separate houses? You go least it was
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: too much. It was a lot of tea that was
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: being spilled in that particular scene. So anyway, Nini made
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: the toad. She said, love wins, and you know, she
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: wished the bride in and groom well wishes and talk
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: to my love and marriage and all of that. So
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: now there are rumors that are circulating that Eva the
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: bride is in financial trouble, and that that wedding was
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: over budget. It was a thousand dollars a plate. The
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: overall cost of the wedding was a half a million dollars. Yet,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: very girl, I didn't see a half a million dollar wedding.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: But that's what people are saying, right the streets are
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: talking saying she's getting victed from home home. But Eva
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: took to social media to try to clear some things up.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Take a listen. There's this big curiosity about how much
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: money I spent for my wedding and how much per
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: plate and all this good stuff. Let's be very clear.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I pay for my own wedding. There were no loans,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: nothing done on barter. And I don't know about the
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: rest of you guys, but if you've ever planned a wedding,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: it's per person, not per plate. So when it comes
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: to floral decor, when it comes to chairs, I didn't
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: have plastic chairs. When it comes to tables, when it
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: comes to the champagne, you sent from the moment you
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: walked into the door to the moment you left, from
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: ballet to security to lighting to everything. I mean, I
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: had musicians around the clock, like let's clear. So when
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: I say it was a thousand dollars ahead, I mean
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: it was a thousand dollars ahead, Note a thousand dollars
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: a plate. Get your life together, and how about we
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: start mining business that we invested. How about that for starters?
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Have a good one. Hey, how many people at this way?
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Not a thousand dollars a plate? How many people? There
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: was a lot of people, she said, She said, a
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: thousand dollars thousand and go back and get moments. I
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: don't know, but there's a lot of rumors about her finances.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: And that's why this question. Oh, when you say it's
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: a thousand dollars per head, not per plate, what are
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: you referring to the reception price? Man? That's what it
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: sounded like she was saying, right, yeah, yes, Steve, that's
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: what I was there a thousand dollars because I was
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: at one of your wins and I would have eaten more.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: My plate was a thousand. You're stupid. He have brought
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: my own plant to take it some I don't really
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: know because I didn't. I just paid for it. I
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: don't know how I got. We're not cheap, weddings are not. Yeah, no,
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: weddings are not cheap. I mean I had a buffet
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: so whatever. When the food ran out, it ran a
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: person A lot though. That's a lot of that's a
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: lot of wedding. But I mean she said she had musicians.
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: She had. It was beautiful, it was beautiful, it wasn't.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: That's five hundred people. If it's a thousand dollars a person,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: ye have me. We don't people at your wedding. I
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: want to do a sports wedding for somebody one day,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: but that I want to align all the guests up
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: and one end of the ballroom or reception hall and
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: up on the buffet table. I just gonna have two
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: buckets of chicken. Off you better get there. I just
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: you know, if you won't chicken. If that's all I'm saying,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: who got speed? Who got tact? If you're hungry enough,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: a lot of people gonna be home. Oh Greg, all right,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: let's move on Loving Hip Hop New York The Reunion
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: Part two. I cannot with rich Dollars. I just can't
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: whip him. So you remember listen to this guy, so
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: you remember Safari Wait. I just had him on my
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: should dinner. Oh, Richard Dollars a Safari. No, which one?
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: Rich dollars? Richard dollars? Every said light skin. Dude, Well
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: he's tall, I don't know heavy, said no. Okay, So anyway,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: we let somebody random that was rich dollars. All right,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: come on, Carla, please, yes, we might have to carry
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: him over to the next break. Is he a blogger? Oh?
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: I know who you're talking about. Oh, I know exactly.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: That's not Rich dollars. We're gonna take a break, Carler.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: We're gonna come back and let you finish this up. Okay,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show when we come
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening to show. Go ahead, Carla,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: we're back with Reality Update Part two. Okay, Well, let's
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: talk about loving hip hop the Reunion New York Part two. Okay,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: So I was saying rich dollars last break. I just
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: can't win him. So, you guys, remember with Safari, he
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: had been dealing with all the drama from Joe Button
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: about giving him the heads up about Ericamina coming on
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: the trip to Costa Rica. Remember it all. So Safari
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: basically he was there at the reunion show and he
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: basically set Joe and send straight about all that drama
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: because he's His point is, I don't have to answer
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: to any of y'all about where me and my woman,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: where we're going, what we're doing. I don't owe anybody
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: any explanations. He was very protective. Yes, he's very and
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: Erica was not there to defend herself as well. So
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: then Rich Dollars had a problem with Safari because Rich
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: said that he well, Rich used to date Ericamina, and
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: so Rich said he asked Safari about him dating her
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: as well, and Safari didn't tell him the truth. So
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: during the reunion show, Rich got upset talking to Safari
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: about the situation, and then he jumped up and was
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: about to fight Safari. You don't sit down, don't take
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: a listen, however, many can move from me. Yo, your
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: parents look way too tight. I don't like saying all
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: that we're doing that. Don't be dis we're doing that.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: Don't talk about somebody she's not here. Come on, that's
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: come on, playboy. Okay, let's play that game. Game, table
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: play that game slow Look at me running slow mode,
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: slow motion, Yo, yoky, I saw your answer, twist. Now
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: make sure he's okay. I'm gonna see I'm gonna see
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: I'm making a comfortable for you. You want to play,
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: let's play I'm from the East Side, let's play man
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: shall nothing man? But usually it's the women. That's why,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: let me tell you, so who must talk. That's why
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: you don't really have me and on reality shows because
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: in real life, when it gets like that, it escalates
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: quickly and it's unstoppable. And with men getting mad and
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: they trying to fight, uh, you're gonna have to get
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: a lot of people stopped. This man. Well, there was
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: a lot of security. You know, this show, loving hip hop,
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: especially reunion shows, have had a history of violence and
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: fights on the show. So set with me, and of
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: course it's been majority of women. But you can hear
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: Safari saying you, all right, did you twist your ankle?
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: Because Safari wasn't scared, and you know, Safari makes light
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: of things anyway. So funny when you see it, it's
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: like you expect Rich to act better than that. He's
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: older than them. It's like, what are you doing that?
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: I don't know. Rich was kind of caught up to
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: me and composed something major in his life. You would think, yes, yeah,
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: the mother of his daughter may maybe going to prison.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: He's dealing with some serious issues. So let me see it.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: I need to see the video, okay, because I was like,
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: I was listen for that one line, like what you
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: say if I hate his phone up and you still here?
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: That's the line I'm looking for. That's here. When I
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: come back, I hear the sound I'm waiting on right here. Fuck,
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: don't that's that's universal. Somebody got knocked smooth. We gotta go.
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: Don't forget Little Women of Atlanta next week, Okay, and
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: lips my Carlos so we can talk about it, right,
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: all right, more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: up right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:30:34Speaker 1: tell you about that's going to be in the Library
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: of Congress's National Recording Registry. Earth Wind and Fires September, Yes, yes,
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: September uh huh yes? Do you just that russong? What
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: you want him to do? The whole one at a time, though,
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: we're the whole hold on. Did all of jay Z's
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: get Yeah, yeah, the whole Blueprint album. But they just
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: put one wonder when the fire You must about right now,
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: story I must say't heard you heard the blueprint? Oh
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: I heard it, greatness. That is not the point of
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: the story. What is wind has just got your song?
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: Ain't jay z whole album? And there's the whole one
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: high in the hell? Yeah, y'all ain't nobody They ain't hear,
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: they didn't hear. You can't finish your citizens September spirit.
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: You remember lost Holiday album, that's the way the World album,
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: Take one. I'll repeat it. That is not the point
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: one song at a time, isn't that. I'm not ever
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: going down to that little library where DC right down
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: blueprint in now okay, man, like the Blueprint behind. But
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: you can't be happy that September made it hell? No
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: couse they got way coldest songs in September, way cold.
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: All right? When we come back, last break of the
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: day and Steve's closing remarks, you don't want to miss him.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: We'll be back at forty nine after right after this.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve, Here we are last break
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: of the day, and uh, you know I wanted to
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: talk to you about Disney Dreamers, because it's going down
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: this weekend in Orlando at Disney, at Disney World, and Steve,
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: you know you blaze your own trail to success. You
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: did it your way. Uh, this weekend, you welcome the
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: two thousand nineteen class of Disney Dreamers Academy. These are
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: one hundred exceptional young people. They're going to arrive at
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: Disney Dreamer's Academy with ambition, with excitement, and you know
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: how kids are. They're all hopeful and sorry eyed for
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: the future. Then they're gonna go home after Disney, the
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: Disney Academy, after the graduation, with motivation, guidance, and skills
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: to help them help to make their dreams come true.
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: So I gotta ask you, as part of your mentoring program, Steve,
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: just what kind of advice can you give young people
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: about their dreams and about jumping. You know, it's the
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: same thing about anybody. You know. I say this, and
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: I say this, I want people to hear me out
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: clearly when I say this. I've often said that education
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: is important. You know, you got to get your basic education.
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: After that, you know, if you want to be a doctor, lawyer, scientist, dentist,
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: you know, something you gotta get. You gotta get some college,
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: you really do. But an education can get you to
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: a point. Education can prove a couple of things. But
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: can I tell you something though, education is not the
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: most important thing. Your dream is the most important thing,
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: because if you have a dream, it will spur you
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: to get an education. But everybody must have a dream.
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: Everybody must have aspirations, visions, dreams, things that they hope for.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: That's the promise of tomorrow that propels any of us forward.
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: So the one thing that I expressed at my mentoring camps,
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: the one thing that I expressed at Disney Dreamers, is
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: follow your dream, man, follow your dream. Don't let your
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: dream die. Don't get caught up into dreams. Don't come
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: true business because they do. Dust your dreams off. Follow
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: your dreams because your dream is everything. Your visions are everything.
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: Your imagination is everything. Imagination, visions, and dreams they're everything. Man,
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: Your life wouldn't be happy if you didn't have dreams.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: Your life wouldn't be happy if you didn't have a
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: reason to wake up in the morning. My dreams, hopes,
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: and aspirations wake me up and excited about getting started
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: with my days. Because I know if I do the
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: right things today, it'll move me a step closer to
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: my visions, to my dreams, for my aspirations for making
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: other dreams come true. I have a blessed life as
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: it is, but man if I man if I get
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: any motion, I ain't gonna know what to do now.
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: The one thing I've learned about these dreams and visions
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: that my first goal, this is just for me, y'all,
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: just may not apply to you. I don't. I'm not
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: pushing my thing on you. But the thing that I
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: try to motivate myself is I have an aspiration to
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: go to heaven. I do, and at sixty two, I
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: think about it a little bit more. I ain't wait
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: till I was eighty to start thinking about it. I'm healthy,
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: I'm still able body, I'm sharp minded, and I you know,
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: I'm thinking about heaven. And to be honest with you,
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: you know, I want to see my creator because that's
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: what I was taught about my mother. But if I'm
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: honest with you, I really want to go to heaven
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: so I can see my mother. If I could see
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: her again, you know, That's that's one of my goals
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: now for those of you that don't believe in heaven
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: and all like that. This conversation gonna sound real crazy
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: to you, but that's okay. It is that hope, that
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: vision of seeing her one day, the dream of seeing
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: her one day, that dream of seeing Jesus, that dream
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: right now, it drives me. It's a driving force behind
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: anything you see that comes out of me that's good,
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: any good, and you seeing me anything good you see
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: or hearing me doing, that's that side of me that's
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: trying to get there. That's that side of me that's
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: trying to see two of my favorite people, my heavenly father,
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: his son Jesus, and my mama. If my daddy there,
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: which I'm really hoping, I really am hoping, with some
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: grace and some mercy, he did too, because my father
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: was a good man man, It really really was. But
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: those things drive me. Well, you have every right to
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: have earthly goals, visions and dreams too, because God don't
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: want us just to have a reward in heaven. He
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: wants us to go after that first. He wants us
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: seek that first. But God a got a problem with
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: us having golds, dreams and aspirations on earth. The dream
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: is critical, man. The dream is everything. If I didn't
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: have dreams, man, there's no way I would be here today.
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: I dreamed of the beginning side of this. I didn't
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: dream of all that I have today because I didn't
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: see it back then. I started developing bigger dreams as
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: I got bigger. But in the beginning I saw none
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: of this that I am today. But that's God. You
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: make one step, he'll make two. That the deal is
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: his two. They had of sight. That's it today. That's
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: what I was thinking about, dreams having himself a great
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: weeking to drop the damn mic in the flowself, to
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: drop myself right, because that turns from where I ain't
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: knew what's going and I just For all Steve Harvey contests,
