- 0:50Speaker 3: Joy, you gotta do you love, Turn, you gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 5: I can't.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I got to turn the mouth. Turn You probably got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn mouth out of the money up. Come come on,
- 1:59Speaker 1: you'll think that, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 6: Good morning everybody, you all listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 6: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey oh Man
- 2:10Speaker 6: got a radio show. Man, got a radio show and
- 2:13Speaker 6: a whole lot mold too, man. God is good to me.
- 2:17Speaker 6: I have no other explanation, if I have no other
- 2:20Speaker 6: explanation of my existence and where I stand in this
- 2:24Speaker 6: thing called life, except if it was not for the
- 2:27Speaker 6: goodness of God Almighty. If it was not for His
- 2:31Speaker 6: grace and his mercy, There's no way I could exist
- 2:35Speaker 6: the way that I do. I will not be who
- 2:38Speaker 6: I am or where I am. I am who I
- 2:40Speaker 6: am and where I am simply because God is who
- 2:46Speaker 6: he is. If it was not for God, I would
- 2:50Speaker 6: have no testimony for you, because I would have failed
- 2:54Speaker 6: every single test plain, pure and simple. I can sit
- 2:59Speaker 6: here today until you flat out that it is purely
- 3:05Speaker 6: because of God's grace and mercy that I exist today
- 3:09Speaker 6: because of His favor. See now He shows us favor
- 3:13Speaker 6: in life because of a combination of things I've discovered.
- 3:18Speaker 6: And this is not the whole answer to life, I
- 3:22Speaker 6: can assure you as not. But this is a combination
- 3:25Speaker 6: that I've grown to understand better and better, and I
- 3:28Speaker 6: wish I had gotten it earlier in my life.
- 3:31Speaker 1: But here it is.
- 3:34Speaker 6: If you take faith and you combine it with an
- 3:41Speaker 6: incredible work ethic.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Then God.
- 3:47Speaker 6: Has the greatest opportunities to show you favor. That's the
- 3:54Speaker 6: best way I can explain success to you from my standpoint.
- 4:00Speaker 6: Combination of faith and work that produces the most opportunities
- 4:07Speaker 6: for God to show you favor. See a lot of
- 4:09Speaker 6: times we want God to bless us, but we ain't
- 4:12Speaker 6: doing nothing for him to bless So now we sideways
- 4:16Speaker 6: in the equation a little bit. But see, if you
- 4:18Speaker 6: had the faith in God that God can do anything
- 4:23Speaker 6: but fail, that God will get you through, that God
- 4:27Speaker 6: will see you through. That the God is the God
- 4:29Speaker 6: you serve, is the greatest give of all good things.
- 4:32Speaker 6: If you kept that faith intact through it all, and
- 4:37Speaker 6: you produced an incredible work ethic that allows the most
- 4:42Speaker 6: opportunities for God to show you favor. See without that
- 4:48Speaker 6: what you want God to do? See, you can have
- 4:51Speaker 6: faith and be sitting at the house watching TV. There's
- 4:56Speaker 6: nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show you favor.
- 5:02Speaker 6: And you got to do some things man, that you
- 5:05Speaker 6: are uncomfortable doing or don't feel like doing, or something
- 5:09Speaker 6: that don't have the right payoff right in front of
- 5:12Speaker 6: your face, with the faith that it'll pay off later on. See,
- 5:16Speaker 6: too many people are working for the right now reward,
- 5:20Speaker 6: and the right now reward is not how it works.
- 5:23Speaker 6: Sometimes the reward is coming later on up the road.
- 5:26Speaker 6: But the only way you can know that is if
- 5:29Speaker 6: you got to You got to apply the faith and
- 5:32Speaker 6: see the reason you don't know that that it's coming
- 5:35Speaker 6: like that, or you have to have faith to believe
- 5:38Speaker 6: that it's coming. Because faith is the belief in things
- 5:43Speaker 6: that you cannot see.
- 5:45Speaker 1: That's what faith is. You know you standing at Let
- 5:48Speaker 1: me give you exam.
- 5:49Speaker 6: You standing at the crosswalk with a walk sign on
- 5:52Speaker 6: it and the sign flashing on the corner. Don't walk
- 5:56Speaker 6: then that the signs say walk. What do you think
- 6:01Speaker 6: your chances are making it across that street?
- 6:04Speaker 4: Is what?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Pretty good? Because guess what the signs say walk? You
- 6:09Speaker 1: can see the other side.
- 6:10Speaker 6: There's other people in the cross walk walking, So guess
- 6:13Speaker 6: what you strike out blindly? It don't take a lot
- 6:16Speaker 6: of faith to get across that streets.
- 6:20Speaker 1: That's not what I'm talking to you about.
- 6:22Speaker 6: I'm talking about the faith, the belief in things that
- 6:25Speaker 6: you cannot see, the faith that what I'm doing today,
- 6:31Speaker 6: I believe in my heart of heart that God wouldn't
- 6:35Speaker 6: bring me this far to leave me.
- 6:36Speaker 1: That God is a.
- 6:37Speaker 6: True and living God, that he keeps his promises, that
- 6:40Speaker 6: later on, there's things that I'm working towards right now
- 6:43Speaker 6: gonna pay off later on. See, too many people want
- 6:46Speaker 6: the reward right now. See, that's not the exhibition of faith.
- 6:51Speaker 6: If it's the right thing to do, if it's if
- 6:55Speaker 6: it's a good thing to do, if it's a just
- 6:57Speaker 6: thing to do. See, if it's sin in it, it
- 7:00Speaker 6: ain't God. You can just clear it on up right there.
- 7:03Speaker 6: You can stop all the wondering. If that's His voice
- 7:06Speaker 6: talking to you, if it's the right thing to do,
- 7:09Speaker 6: if it's sin in it, it's not God talking to you.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Kill it.
- 7:15Speaker 6: You can shut it down. You ain't got to wonder
- 7:18Speaker 6: about it. Go down there, secret venge that ain't God.
- 7:21Speaker 6: Go tell them off when you see him. That ain't God.
- 7:24Speaker 6: Anything that's got seining in it is not God's voice
- 7:27Speaker 6: telling you to do it. So you can kill that
- 7:29Speaker 6: conversation today. That's how you know. But if you aligning
- 7:33Speaker 6: yourself up, man, and what you're doing is just and
- 7:36Speaker 6: right and correct and pleasing in the sight of God,
- 7:40Speaker 6: it'll pay off for you later on. And see, here's
- 7:46Speaker 6: the best way I can tell to his another one.
- 7:49Speaker 6: When you're going somewhere, when you're on the road to
- 7:54Speaker 6: going somewhere, and you know the somewhere that you're trying
- 7:57Speaker 6: to get to. Let's say you've set a goal of
- 8:00Speaker 6: for yourself, you know where you want to get to,
- 8:02Speaker 6: You got a good idea, and you own your way
- 8:05Speaker 6: to going there.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Listen to me.
- 8:08Speaker 6: When it gets hard, and it is going to get hard,
- 8:11Speaker 6: when it gets difficult, and it is going to get difficult,
- 8:15Speaker 6: when it becomes challenging, and it is going to become
- 8:19Speaker 6: challenging when it becomes all three of those things. When
- 8:22Speaker 6: it don't look like it's going to happen. Don't stop
- 8:26Speaker 6: and complain so much. But see, I know he don't
- 8:30Speaker 6: bless me. But in the middle of it, man, I
- 8:32Speaker 6: felt a little heavy. And you got to be careful
- 8:35Speaker 6: when it gets hard for you, because you'll find yourself complaining.
- 8:39Speaker 6: And when you complain, and see, what you can't do
- 8:42Speaker 6: is you can't complain so much that you forget that
- 8:46Speaker 6: the place that you're trying to go to, you actually
- 8:50Speaker 6: own your way there still. See, don't get caught up
- 8:53Speaker 6: into complaining and then lose sight of your blessing that's
- 8:56Speaker 6: actually happening to you. What really, man, of all the
- 9:01Speaker 6: times to register a complaint to God, to sit up
- 9:05Speaker 6: and go, hey, man, I didn't I wanted to ease
- 9:08Speaker 6: back into this thing. Ease back in, man, you in.
- 9:11Speaker 6: It's a tornado world around you. You ain't got time
- 9:14Speaker 6: to ease back in. You got to go on and
- 9:16Speaker 6: jump back in it. It is what it is to
- 9:18Speaker 6: whom much is given, much is required. Always appreciate the blessings.
- 9:23Speaker 6: Don't get so caught up in the complaints that you
- 9:25Speaker 6: lose sight of the blessings. Man, God got a lot
- 9:27Speaker 6: for you in your life. Man, but you got to
- 9:29Speaker 6: have them. Two things, y'all.
- 9:31Speaker 1: You got to take that faith and you got to
- 9:33Speaker 1: ply a crazy work ethic to it.
- 9:37Speaker 6: And that creates the most opportunities for God to show
- 9:41Speaker 6: you favor. And when God starts showing your favor, man,
- 9:44Speaker 6: all them seeds you planted, all of that, all of
- 9:47Speaker 6: that wheat you've been sowing, all of that hard work
- 9:50Speaker 6: you've been put in. God to pay it off, and
- 9:53Speaker 6: He'll pay it off in ways that you don't even
- 9:55Speaker 6: see coming.
- 9:55Speaker 5: Okay, cool, you're listening, harymore the show, Rise and Shine,
- 10:03Speaker 5: Wake up, Wake up, wake up. Today's a new day.

- 10:10Speaker 5: the end. And then you don't even know the word.

- 14:36Speaker 1: This is Quincy right here, it's Quincy. I work in
- 14:38Speaker 1: the same build.

- 25:14Speaker 7: it was the TV I tried to FaceTime her, but
- 25:17Speaker 7: she said she was too sleepy. Why didn't she answer FaceTime?
- 25:22Speaker 5: Because if you if she answered, you're gonna get what
- 25:25Speaker 5: you're gonna get herb But her but is what dialed
- 25:29Speaker 5: you right? Look at you and her butt is what's
- 25:34Speaker 5: going on right now? Say we don't have time to

- 25:40Speaker 5: butt that did it? Her butt is doing a lot
- 25:43Speaker 5: right now and they don't have time for you. Yes,
- 25:46Speaker 5: it's going on. It's only cracking up in there talking
- 25:48Speaker 5: about this the TV. You know what a TV sound like?

- 26:39Speaker 7: and Tulsa okay. Mamie writes, my husband doesn't come home
- 26:43Speaker 7: some nights, and when he is home, he sleeps on
- 26:46Speaker 7: the couch. My husband has gotten very big with very
- 26:49Speaker 7: bad hygiene. I don't think he's cheating, but anything is possible.
- 26:54Speaker 7: Is there really somebody for everybody?
- 26:58Speaker 5: Why do you care let him his big nasty behind
- 27:03Speaker 5: lay up on the couch. Why you can't at least
- 27:05Speaker 5: he ain't in your bed with his big nasty tail.
- 27:07Speaker 5: Why would you even Why does it even matter if
- 27:09Speaker 5: he got somebody, at least you freed up. At least
- 27:12Speaker 5: somebody giving you a break. You ain't got to deal
- 27:14Speaker 5: with his big nasty behind. That's her husband talking about
- 27:17Speaker 5: he big and nasty car.
- 27:20Speaker 1: What do you want with this? He can take a
- 27:22Speaker 1: shower and lose weight, get that old zipp.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Or with go be with.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Yeah, this could be fixed.
- 27:34Speaker 7: She lost her husband. She said she doesn't think he's cheating.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Yeah, so that ain't nobody cheating? Nasty he took.
- 27:44Speaker 7: People do it every day. Cheating is cheating? Now we're
- 27:48Speaker 7: judging cheating?
- 27:50Speaker 1: Yeah you gotta cheat? Yeah, man, you not man.
- 27:57Speaker 10: Maybe, first of all, he's big and he nasty. Is
- 27:59Speaker 10: the real problem is them steps in the house. He
- 28:01Speaker 10: can't get up them steps.
- 28:03Speaker 1: That's what probably.
- 28:05Speaker 10: Can't make it up them steps. He got to sleep
- 28:07Speaker 10: on this couch. But why would you want them to
- 28:09Speaker 10: be saying he nasty, big, lazy, trying.
- 28:15Speaker 5: Yeah, you're talking about y'all. Tell about Gus, Gus May.
- 28:20Speaker 5: His name got to be Gus. If her name Maimon,
- 28:23Speaker 5: his name got to be.
- 28:28Speaker 1: And what year was Maimon coming out? What year was that?
- 28:31Speaker 1: Twenty two two?
- 28:33Speaker 7: Maybe there really somebody for every for everyone, that's what
- 28:40Speaker 7: she wants to know. If there's someone for everyone.
- 28:43Speaker 5: I think there there's always somebody fair. But I mean
- 28:46Speaker 5: now he got to go find somebody that's big and nasty.
- 28:48Speaker 1: So I don't know. I mean that can be fair.
- 28:51Speaker 7: And that's what she's saying. Anything is possible.
- 28:54Speaker 1: She don't mean unless she's gonna get big and nasty
- 28:56Speaker 1: with him.
- 28:58Speaker 7: I don't think this maymy or he can lose wait
- 29:00Speaker 7: and get clean.
- 29:00Speaker 1: This is not a major issue for you. You know what,
- 29:03Speaker 1: you know what call it? You wash him? Me, you

- 29:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm ready for the Olympics. Man, I am ready,
- 29:47Speaker 1: he too, man.
- 29:49Speaker 7: Speaking of it, do you guys feel there is enough
- 29:51Speaker 7: hype for the Olympics? The Olympics, you know, start in
- 29:54Speaker 7: just a couple of days. But according to a new
- 29:56Speaker 7: online poll, people don't feel ex about the Olympics this year,
- 30:02Speaker 7: and only nine percent of the adults that were polled
- 30:04Speaker 7: that they will be watching every day.
- 30:07Speaker 5: So you know, I'm watching every day, but I'm you know,
- 30:10Speaker 5: I'm a sports guy, so I want to see all
- 30:12Speaker 5: of them.
- 30:12Speaker 1: You know, y'all already know. I love them. Them synchronized swimmers,
- 30:16Speaker 1: I can't wait.
- 30:17Speaker 8: It's so funny to me.

- 30:21Speaker 5: How they hold they breath that long and dance at
- 30:23Speaker 5: the same time upside down. Y'all don't understand this is
- 30:26Speaker 5: a gift.
- 30:28Speaker 7: It takes a lot too. They have to have their hair,
- 30:30Speaker 7: put certain things on their hairs. All of that come
- 30:32Speaker 7: apart all of that. Yeah, special grease for their hair, grease.
- 30:37Speaker 4: Jail, all of it.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I think I think people are excited about the Olympics.
- 30:43Speaker 2: I just think maybe this week the breaking news I
- 30:47Speaker 2: think it's been overshadowed by politics this week because we
- 30:50Speaker 2: are so excited about the presidential candidate VP Kamala Harris,
- 30:56Speaker 2: and I think politics has been kind of overshadowing the Olympics.
- 30:59Speaker 1: I think when the opening.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Ceremony starts, people gonna start getting into it and watching
- 31:04Speaker 2: in normal sports, uh huh, like come on track and field, baby,
- 31:11Speaker 2: go baby, someball Biles.
- 31:13Speaker 1: We're gonna watch the goat.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Do her thing, like you said, Lebron Black Beary the
- 31:19Speaker 2: youth team USA men's and women's basketball, and.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Then they got break, then they got breakdancing. He had
- 31:24Speaker 1: no idea.
- 31:25Speaker 7: Awarding doing all areas a kickup and moving on to
- 31:32Speaker 7: Janet Jackson. Okay, listen to this she had a really
- 31:36Speaker 7: shocking interview. Recently. Janet is on the second leg of
- 31:40Speaker 7: her Together Again concert tour, and in an interview in
- 31:45Speaker 7: Britain recently, she had the strangest request. She asked the
- 31:49Speaker 7: host to stop asking her questions. Okay, you're doing an interview,
- 31:53Speaker 7: but you asked the host to stop asking you questions.
- 31:56Speaker 7: Janet says, quote, I don't mean to be rude, but
- 31:59Speaker 7: I have to be honest with you. Please stop asking
- 32:02Speaker 7: me questions. I have never thought that I give good interviews.
- 32:06Speaker 7: I really don't like speaking, so I'd rather stay quiet
- 32:09Speaker 7: and listen to other people talk. And that's always been me.
- 32:13Speaker 7: So are we finished?
- 32:15Speaker 4: You know?
- 32:15Speaker 1: You know Jenny, you know Jennison, And she sounded like
- 32:18Speaker 1: Michael when she talked. You know that she does. I
- 32:22Speaker 1: don't want to. I don't want to. I don't want
- 32:24Speaker 1: to answer anything right now. I don't like the sounds
- 32:28Speaker 1: like Michael. That does not sound like Jenne. She sounds
- 32:31Speaker 1: like Michael. I mean, is that kind of crazy?
- 32:37Speaker 7: Her response in an interview, Yeah, come on.
- 32:42Speaker 5: When we when we was doing radio, when we were
- 32:45Speaker 5: living in New York, we interviewed Jennet. She came into
- 32:48Speaker 5: the studio to call it you za. She came.
- 32:50Speaker 1: I was talking. She said, I like your point Southern.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I like the way it sounds. And Steve looked at
- 32:56Speaker 1: me and said, you need to get your heads at
- 32:58Speaker 1: the studio right You're about to take off your clothes
- 33:02Speaker 1: for n.
- 33:06Speaker 7: You feel some kind of way, didn't, Man, Okay, you're
- 33:12Speaker 7: on tour. How are you promoting your tour if you
- 33:15Speaker 7: don't like to talk? What is happening?
- 33:17Speaker 1: I just want everybody to buy a ticket because.
- 33:20Speaker 7: Stop sounding like Michael. I don't know. I don't know Janet,
- 33:27Speaker 7: but I mean, that's the first time I heard she
- 33:29Speaker 7: didn't like to talk.
- 33:32Speaker 1: And I'm like, shy, we know that I do like
- 33:35Speaker 1: whips and chains until that music start.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Yeah, give me.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Change, boy.
- 33:42Speaker 5: She came out there at the Essence Festival the whips
- 33:45Speaker 5: and chain. My mama, My mama was in the audience
- 33:48Speaker 5: with me. She said, baby, Mama gonna go to the
- 33:50Speaker 5: to the casino. This is my exit nine. Baby, I
- 33:53Speaker 5: don't Mama, don't need to be here five four.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Three one edit.
- 34:00Speaker 7: She was talking, all right, all right, Finally, you know
- 34:06Speaker 7: that massive commuter computer outage that caused chaos all across
- 34:10Speaker 7: the world last weekend. You guys remember that, of course,
- 34:12Speaker 7: how could you not. Well, social media users have caused
- 34:16Speaker 7: the Netflix movie Leave the World Behind to go viral
- 34:20Speaker 7: after pointing out similarities in the movie's plot to what
- 34:24Speaker 7: we all experienced over the weekend, and many are concerned
- 34:27Speaker 7: that this will one day, this will one day be
- 34:30Speaker 7: our reality. You guys saw the movie Leave the World Behind, right?
- 34:34Speaker 7: Everybody saw that, right.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Would Julia Roberts? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 34:45Speaker 7: So you know in the movie there was no Internet,
- 34:48Speaker 7: remember that, there were no phones. There was just no
- 34:51Speaker 7: going back to normal. So do you think it was
- 34:54Speaker 7: just a movie or should we be concerned about longer lasting,
- 34:58Speaker 7: more serious out of you in the future.
- 35:01Speaker 2: I think we should be concerned because that movie, you know,
- 35:05Speaker 2: it was just the blackouts that occurred, the Internet being out.
- 35:10Speaker 1: It was serious and then you know.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Spoiler alert if you haven't seen the movie. The bottom
- 35:16Speaker 2: line was there was some family or a family that
- 35:19Speaker 2: was prepared for.
- 35:21Speaker 1: The end with a bunker. Twitter.
- 35:25Speaker 5: That's why I got twenty cases of water, twenty cases
- 35:28Speaker 5: of toilet paper. I have a lot of paper towels.
- 35:32Speaker 5: We have a lot of beans and rice. We have
- 35:35Speaker 5: a lot of summer sauces. A lot of cheese. We have.
- 35:38Speaker 1: We are prepared at my home. You need a lot
- 35:41Speaker 1: of toilet paper. That's all y'all gonna be here. Beans.
- 35:48Speaker 7: You can be backed up, but you'll be safe, all right.
- 35:53Speaker 7: Coming up in twenty minutes after the Harrison campaign raised
- 35:56Speaker 7: over eighty one dollars in the first day after Kamala
- 36:00Speaker 7: Harris received and Biden's endorsement. We'll get into it right
- 36:04Speaker 7: after this.
- 36:05Speaker 8: You're listening Hardy morning show.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Well, the Harris for.
- 36:09Speaker 7: President campaign raised over eighty one million dollars in its
- 36:13Speaker 7: first twenty one out twenty four hours, adding to the
- 36:16Speaker 7: two hundred and forty million dollars existing war chest already
- 36:20Speaker 7: that was raised this election cycle. This reflects the money
- 36:25Speaker 7: raised across the campaign, the Democratic National Committee and joint
- 36:28Speaker 7: fundraising committees. Within less than a few hours of Harris's
- 36:32Speaker 7: big announcement to run for president, black women mobilized as
- 36:36Speaker 7: Win with Black Women and created a massive conference call
- 36:40Speaker 7: of over forty six thousand women black women to raise
- 36:44Speaker 7: one point six million dollars in contributions. Last night, Roland
- 36:47Speaker 7: Martin moderateated the win with black men's massive call mirror
- 36:51Speaker 7: what the women did, So you know we're serious about this.
- 36:55Speaker 8: We want to get her in.
- 36:56Speaker 7: We want to beat Trump. We are serious.
- 36:59Speaker 6: That's right.
- 36:59Speaker 7: A series raised money, registered to vote and then vote please,
- 37:03Speaker 7: that's it.
- 37:04Speaker 2: We see the memes all on social media where black
- 37:07Speaker 2: women and black men are posting, I was on the call.
- 37:11Speaker 1: So people have pride.
- 37:12Speaker 2: They are proud to have participated and donated to her campaign.
- 37:17Speaker 1: So, you know, what is the moral of the story.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Don't underestimate black women and black men.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Don't do it.
- 37:24Speaker 2: You're gonna get your feelings her. We are here, we
- 37:27Speaker 2: have showed up. This is not a drill to us.
- 37:29Speaker 1: This is I love the quote. I love the quote.
- 37:32Speaker 7: I'm with her that yes, yeah, yes, yeah yeah.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Hashtag I'm with her, hashtag her story. VP Kamala Harris
- 37:41Speaker 2: is making history. Story once again, her history. All right,
- 37:46Speaker 2: once again, she is making history. So we are watching
- 37:50Speaker 2: it in real time and we will go to the polls.
- 37:53Speaker 2: All this is great, but we still have to vote.
- 37:56Speaker 2: We have to register to vote and get out of them.
- 37:59Speaker 7: Yeah, just a little over one hundred days to do
- 38:02Speaker 7: all this work. A little over one hundred days. There
- 38:04Speaker 7: are a lot of volunteers, you know, springing into action
- 38:08Speaker 7: to work for her to help her with her campaign.
- 38:10Speaker 7: She made a smooth transition with Joe Biden's campaign headquarters,
- 38:15Speaker 7: his people, the same people that ran his campaign will
- 38:18Speaker 7: be running her. So there's no you know, confusion and
- 38:21Speaker 7: all of that. That was a smooth transition. So just
- 38:24Speaker 7: as long as we stay motivated, mobilized, we can get
- 38:27Speaker 7: this work done. Yeah, Billie, Detroit, Milwaukee, come on.
- 38:33Speaker 1: I can't wait for the debates, man, I cannot wait
- 38:36Speaker 1: for the day.
- 38:39Speaker 2: And I'm getting also energized from her speech, her first
- 38:43Speaker 2: speech in Delaware and campaign headquarters. Her speech, I was
- 38:47Speaker 2: so energized to kin and she talked about women's rights.
- 38:52Speaker 2: I am so glad she is a champion for women's rights,
- 38:56Speaker 2: women's reproductive rights.
- 38:58Speaker 7: Talking about prosecutor in her came back.
- 39:00Speaker 1: You heard that.
- 39:01Speaker 7: The prosecutor in her came out. She is a jade
- 39:05Speaker 7: E Vance. You're wondering what she's been doing for the
- 39:07Speaker 7: last twenty years. She's been VP, she's been Attorney general,
- 39:12Speaker 7: she's been a prosecutor, she's been working. Okay, coming up
- 39:20Speaker 7: at thirty four minutes after the hour, with it almost
- 39:22Speaker 7: being back to school time, we'll find out what kind
- 39:24Speaker 7: of students we were when we were in school. Right
- 39:28Speaker 7: after this, you're listening.
- 39:32Speaker 8: Morning show.
- 39:33Speaker 7: All right, guys, let's find out what kind of students
- 39:35Speaker 7: you were with the most likely to game.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Okay, this is how this works. I say you were
- 39:41Speaker 2: most likely to do this, and we named the person
- 39:44Speaker 2: on the show which did that.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 39:46Speaker 7: Most likely to be teacher's pet, you shre?
- 39:53Speaker 2: I was?
- 39:55Speaker 9: I was?
- 39:56Speaker 4: I was?
- 39:59Speaker 1: I always in the front row?
- 40:00Speaker 7: All that? Yes, yes, yes, we're gonna.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Cheat if we sit in the front. You can't cheat
- 40:07Speaker 1: in the front.
- 40:08Speaker 4: No.
- 40:11Speaker 7: Likely to fall asleep in class? Fall asleep, Carla? You
- 40:19Speaker 7: fell asleep in class?
- 40:21Speaker 1: Yes, because I did not care?
- 40:23Speaker 6: What why?
- 40:23Speaker 7: Plus Z did not you ain't?
- 40:27Speaker 1: You ain't use that formulas.
- 40:31Speaker 2: Now one time on this black job of mine at
- 40:33Speaker 2: the black radio station.
- 40:37Speaker 1: All right.
- 40:38Speaker 7: Most likely I think we know the answer to this.
- 40:40Speaker 7: But most likely to always want to fight.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Hmmm, who could that be? That you can ask the
- 40:54Speaker 1: Lord about me? Trash talker?
- 41:00Speaker 7: All right, we're playing the most likely two games. Who
- 41:02Speaker 7: is most likely to talk back to the teacher m call?
- 41:09Speaker 1: No, I didn't talk back because I knew my mama
- 41:12Speaker 1: would grab them. Oh new Tommy, this would be Steve too. Yeah,
- 41:17Speaker 1: I think it's probably beyond. I think Tommy, Yeah, because you.

- 41:28Speaker 5: Yeah. Mama had me and checked up. My mama passed
- 41:31Speaker 5: by my room one time, my classroom. I didn't even
- 41:35Speaker 5: know she was on the campus, passed by that room,
- 41:37Speaker 5: but I just saw her past. I said, what is
- 41:38Speaker 5: she doing here?
- 41:40Speaker 1: From that point on, I'm not doing nothing, man, I'm not.
- 41:43Speaker 5: Because I saw one I saw one guy his mama
- 41:46Speaker 5: came to school and whooped his behind right there in
- 41:48Speaker 5: front of everywhere, got in front of the class. I
- 41:53Speaker 5: saw my mama pans by the door. I said, no, no, no, no,
- 41:56Speaker 5: I'm not one of them whoopings around.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Actually became a student to day. I was talking acting
- 42:01Speaker 1: up so much at school. He came to school with me.
- 42:03Speaker 10: He wanted a classroom and saying, right behind me, I
- 42:05Speaker 10: just say nothing for a whole day. Yeah, since you
- 42:08Speaker 10: were in here, chit chat, yeah, yeah, tell jokes and everything.
- 42:12Speaker 10: Go ahead, What are jokes at now, clown?
- 42:15Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 42:15Speaker 1: I ain't doing no. I love you all right.
- 42:19Speaker 7: Most likely not to have their homework.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Who was that?
- 42:23Speaker 4: That was me?
- 42:24Speaker 1: If it was math, I ain't had it.

- 42:44Speaker 7: I hated science.
- 42:44Speaker 1: Oh I hate the science project. I need to have
- 42:46Speaker 1: a whole project. She said, where's your project, mister space.
- 42:49Speaker 1: I said, I ain't do it.
- 42:52Speaker 7: You can't see this, you were honest?
- 42:55Speaker 1: Yeah, all right?
- 42:57Speaker 7: Most likely.
- 43:00Speaker 5: Biology. They was dissecting frog. I skipped class the whole week.
- 43:03Speaker 5: I'm not fooling with that frog.

- 43:38Speaker 1: That that ain't lunch.
- 43:41Speaker 7: I mean, that was a full meal and throwing a
- 43:44Speaker 7: honey bun. That's it, the honey sugar, straight sugar, carling sugar.
- 43:50Speaker 1: My best friend Ate powdered doughnuts every day.

- 45:10Speaker 4: is brother Glenn from the church.
- 45:11Speaker 11: Hey, brother Glenn, how you doing?
- 45:13Speaker 4: I'm good, I'm good, I'm real good. Did you enjoy service? Bring?
- 45:16Speaker 9: Oh?
- 45:17Speaker 11: I enjoyed it? Past the past brought it down?
- 45:23Speaker 4: Yes?
- 45:24Speaker 11: Oh my god.
- 45:25Speaker 4: That was a word for me, right right, right? Right?
- 45:28Speaker 11: So what do I owe the pleasure of this call?
- 45:30Speaker 4: I wanted to give you some information that the that
- 45:34Speaker 4: the church has come up with, and we wanted to
- 45:36Speaker 4: let you know what was going on before next Sunday.
- 45:39Speaker 4: I didn't interrupt you, No, no, I actually I may.
- 45:43Speaker 11: Sound a little a little off a little bit. I'm
- 45:44Speaker 11: trying to get getting ready for my little Davis, my
- 45:47Speaker 11: little darlings, and I'm trying to Your voice sounds so
- 45:50Speaker 11: familiar to me. It just sounds so familiar. Trying to
- 45:52Speaker 11: place place that voice.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Okay, well, you've seen me at the church quite a
- 45:56Speaker 4: few times.
- 45:56Speaker 11: I think I have. I'm just trying to place it.
- 45:58Speaker 11: I can't place it right now.
- 45:59Speaker 1: But what can Okay?
- 46:00Speaker 4: Well, No, nevertheless, I just wanted here's what's going on now.
- 46:04Speaker 4: You're aware that for the last the last six Sundays,
- 46:06Speaker 4: you've been actually coming into service late. Have you realized that?
- 46:10Speaker 11: Yes, I know, I'm sorry about that, but you know,
- 46:15Speaker 11: yes I have. I have my reasons though.
- 46:17Speaker 4: Okay, okay, Well, here's what's going on. The officials at
- 46:20Speaker 4: the church have gotten together and this is what they've
- 46:23Speaker 4: decided on, is that anybody who is late starting next Sunday,
- 46:28Speaker 4: there would be a fifteen dollar charge for that for
- 46:31Speaker 4: coming in and disrupting services. Fastest tired of service being
- 46:35Speaker 4: disrupted by people walking in late.
- 46:38Speaker 11: That could not come at a worse time. I don't
- 46:41Speaker 11: have fifteen dollars to give. I don't have it. Oh look,
- 46:49Speaker 11: I'm sorry, I'm sorry that we're late. I am we
- 46:53Speaker 11: are born our best. I have three kids. I have
- 46:56Speaker 11: three young kids, two, seven and nine. They are a handful,
- 47:01Speaker 11: and we do the best that we can to get
- 47:04Speaker 11: the church on time and to tell your book. When
- 47:08Speaker 11: we get there, it's doing praise and worship. I mean,
- 47:10Speaker 11: pas ain't even preaching yet, so I.
- 47:13Speaker 4: Know it's not pass is not up yet, but he's
- 47:15Speaker 4: stating that people coming in. It just seems very disruptive
- 47:19Speaker 4: to the service that's going on. That's so Nevertheless, like
- 47:22Speaker 4: I said, This is a warning call, you know, to
- 47:24Speaker 4: let you know that if you are late on next Sunday,
- 47:27Speaker 4: then they will be charging you fifteen dollars a late charge,
- 47:31Speaker 4: and actually you won't be able to even come in
- 47:34Speaker 4: until you until you paid the five ten dollars.
- 47:37Speaker 11: I can't even get in church with we Look, okay, look,
- 47:40Speaker 11: I don't I don't owe nothing. I don't owe you
- 47:43Speaker 11: no explanations. But I need to tell you something. We
- 47:46Speaker 11: are me and my kids for the last few sundays
- 47:50Speaker 11: that we've been late. It's because my car broke down.
- 47:53Speaker 11: We are on the bus man public transportation.
- 47:56Speaker 4: Okay, I mean, and I understand, I understand I sail
- 47:59Speaker 4: time with everything that you're going through.
- 48:01Speaker 11: But why are you called if you understand? Why are
- 48:03Speaker 11: you calling me about fifteen dollars? If you understand what
- 48:05Speaker 11: I'm going through?
- 48:05Speaker 4: Well I didn't that first of all. I didn't know
- 48:07Speaker 4: what you were going Why are you raising your voice
- 48:09Speaker 4: at me? Why did you just raise your voice at me?
- 48:12Speaker 4: You know what? You know what?
- 48:14Speaker 11: I think? You're raising your voice at me? How dare
- 48:17Speaker 11: you call me about this? About a feat? And I'm
- 48:20Speaker 11: there at church. I got my key in there trying
- 48:23Speaker 11: to raise them up is the way they should go,
- 48:25Speaker 11: just like the Bible say. And you know why I
- 48:28Speaker 11: gotta do this or why I'm late, why we got
- 48:30Speaker 11: to catch the bus? Do you understand why that is?
- 48:33Speaker 11: Brother Gleed, No, I do not. That is because they
- 48:36Speaker 11: to their daddy ain't.
- 48:38Speaker 4: And yes, it's Tracy. You got to calm down a
- 48:40Speaker 4: little bit now.
- 48:41Speaker 11: Oh Jesus help me, Jesus, help me, Jesus.
- 48:44Speaker 4: Okay, listen, here's the deal. All I can do is
- 48:46Speaker 4: tell you this. I hope you can make it. Maybe
- 48:48Speaker 4: you can catch an earlier bus, you know what I mean,
- 48:51Speaker 4: and get that a little earlier. But but I'm just
- 48:54Speaker 4: stating the facts that as of next Sunday, if you
- 48:56Speaker 4: come in late, it's fifteen dollars late fee, and that's
- 48:59Speaker 4: what you'll pay in order to get in the service.
- 49:01Speaker 11: You know what, Well, maybe next Sunday I just won't
- 49:04Speaker 11: be there. How about that? You know I'm already working
- 49:08Speaker 11: six days a week. The only day I have office Sunday,
- 49:11Speaker 11: I've been baking, breaking my back. Do you know I
- 49:13Speaker 11: work two jobs. I work two jobs, and they always
- 49:16Speaker 11: trying to take money out of my check, always trying
- 49:18Speaker 11: to pull me here and there, and I'm always tired.
- 49:20Speaker 11: I get two hours of sleep, and then now the
- 49:22Speaker 11: church wants to dump another fifteen dollars charging me for
- 49:26Speaker 11: being at church. Well that's what I'm supposed to do.
- 49:28Speaker 4: But you're coming in late, though, Tracy.
- 49:31Speaker 11: You know what, you know what late ain't bad? Okay,
- 49:36Speaker 11: I might be delayed, but I ain't denied, And I'm
- 49:38Speaker 11: getting there the best way that I know how. For oh,
- 49:40Speaker 11: the bus, I have to put my kids on.
- 49:42Speaker 5: The school bus.
- 49:43Speaker 11: And long that I have to put them on the
- 49:44Speaker 11: school bus, then I have to get on the bus
- 49:46Speaker 11: to myself to work because I don't have a car.
- 49:48Speaker 11: Because they Daddy ain't doing nothing nothing for them. Do
- 49:51Speaker 11: you understand what I'm saying to you? I need to
- 49:54Speaker 11: under that number one. It's what hit Daddy for two
- 50:00Speaker 11: in jail, been there about five years. He ain't and
- 50:03Speaker 11: daddy number three she decided to go ahead and walk out.
- 50:07Speaker 11: And I ain't heard from that that trade in about
- 50:10Speaker 11: seven months.
- 50:11Speaker 4: Now.
- 50:11Speaker 11: He know we struggling. She had the nerve to take
- 50:13Speaker 11: my wallet too.
- 50:14Speaker 9: You don't.
- 50:15Speaker 11: You don't even understand what I'm going through. You don't
- 50:17Speaker 11: even understand that I'm trying to make a better life
- 50:18Speaker 11: for me and my children.
- 50:20Speaker 4: There is one more thing, sister Tracy, that the Church
- 50:22Speaker 4: wants you to know before next Sunday that you definitely
- 50:25Speaker 4: need to know.
- 50:26Speaker 11: What what more thing does the church want me to know?
- 50:28Speaker 11: It's I sifteen dollars.
- 50:29Speaker 4: The Chase just wants you to know that this is
- 50:31Speaker 4: nephew Toimy from the Steve Harby Morning, Joe, your sister
- 50:34Speaker 4: Patrece got me to prank phone call you.
- 50:40Speaker 11: I am gonna walk up what I'm no?
- 50:44Speaker 9: What are you?
- 50:46Speaker 4: You know?
- 50:46Speaker 11: I ain't got time for that. No, I ain't got
- 50:49Speaker 11: time for that. Oh hook for trees?
- 50:52Speaker 4: Uh huh. Sister got you all right, I got something
- 50:57Speaker 4: for her?
- 50:58Speaker 11: How about that?
- 51:00Speaker 4: She told what she said She take my sister carpro down.
- 51:04Speaker 4: She says she got these kids she owed me are
- 51:06Speaker 4: struggling and struggling and she's trying to make it. But

- 54:17Speaker 7: Thank you nephew. Subject how important is conversation when you're
- 54:21Speaker 7: in love? Dear Stephen Shirley, My boyfriend is the sweetest
- 54:26Speaker 7: person I've ever dated. We met when he picked me
- 54:29Speaker 7: up from the airport in his suv. I had just
- 54:32Speaker 7: moved to Alabama and my company hired him to be
- 54:35Speaker 7: my driver until my car was delivered. He showed me
- 54:38Speaker 7: around the city and introduced me to some of his
- 54:41Speaker 7: female friends, but they weren't the kind of women I
- 54:43Speaker 7: wanted to be associated with. They're big weed smokers and drinkers,
- 54:49Speaker 7: and I'm more laid back. I needed someone to hang
- 54:51Speaker 7: out with, so the driver was always available to go
- 54:54Speaker 7: to dinner, festivals and movies with me. He's a Southerner,
- 54:58Speaker 7: so I had to get used to how he talked.
- 55:01Speaker 7: After a few weeks of being in a new city,
- 55:04Speaker 7: I needed sex, so I invited him to spend the night.
- 55:07Speaker 7: When I tell you, this guy knows exactly what to
- 55:10Speaker 7: do in the bed, he showed no mercy and I
- 55:14Speaker 7: was hooked. It was hard to go a day without him,
- 55:18Speaker 7: so he started staying at my house every night. We
- 55:20Speaker 7: don't talk much, but we have a lot of great sex,
- 55:23Speaker 7: and he's been gracious with money and doing things around
- 55:26Speaker 7: the house. I was bragging on him to my sister
- 55:29Speaker 7: and she asked if I was talking about the dude
- 55:32Speaker 7: that sounds like he wrote the short bus. She face
- 55:35Speaker 7: time with him a lot, and she always jokes about
- 55:38Speaker 7: how he talks. He's a fast talker, but at times
- 55:41Speaker 7: he hesitates when he forget, when he forgets what he's
- 55:44Speaker 7: about to say next. He laughs at himself when he
- 55:47Speaker 7: does it. So it's never been a big deal to me.
- 55:50Speaker 7: I'm falling in love with him, So does it matter
- 55:53Speaker 7: what other people think? Does his good quality? Do his
- 55:56Speaker 7: good qualities override how bad he sounds when he talks.
- 56:02Speaker 7: You're kidding, right, You're thinking of throwing away a good
- 56:05Speaker 7: guy because you don't like the way he talks. Really,
- 56:08Speaker 7: I mean, this kind of sounds ridiculous. Don't you think
- 56:11Speaker 7: you said this guy is the sweetest person you have
- 56:14Speaker 7: ever dated. That's what you said. You said, this man
- 56:17Speaker 7: is great in bed, he's generous with his money, and
- 56:20Speaker 7: he helps you around the house. I mean, what all
- 56:22Speaker 7: do you want? I mean, obviously he likes you. He
- 56:25Speaker 7: spends time with you. He's not cheating that you know of.
- 56:29Speaker 7: Your sister said he sounds slow because of his southern drawl.
- 56:33Speaker 7: And I think you better watch her, by the way,
- 56:37Speaker 7: because she sounds like she's doing a little too much already,
- 56:40Speaker 7: facetiming him and all of that. Just keep your eye
- 56:43Speaker 7: on her. And I just say this to you again.
- 56:46Speaker 7: If you think he's a good guy, he sounds like
- 56:48Speaker 7: a good guy. Forget how he talks. As long as
- 56:50Speaker 7: he treats you well, you can understand him, right, you
- 56:53Speaker 7: can understand him. It doesn't matter what anybody else thinks,
- 56:57Speaker 7: especially you're hating sister. Nephew.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Listen, listen, listen, Yeah, so listen. I'm trying to take
- 57:08Speaker 1: you up.
- 57:10Speaker 5: Now. Yeah yeah, come come back around with red record,
- 57:15Speaker 5: dry sound, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, look at baby what
- 57:21Speaker 5: we do.
- 57:21Speaker 1: We go go wherever we give something, you know, they
- 57:23Speaker 1: come back. We gonna get you dream kidden.
- 57:26Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, look look look look look look look look

- 57:34Speaker 5: go around here, get come back and get you to
- 57:37Speaker 5: bed them in some fries.
- 57:40Speaker 1: What you're saying, Hey hey, hey, hey.
- 57:44Speaker 5: Look like link get up now now you getting back.
- 57:46Speaker 5: I'm driving you around here. I'm that man to take
- 57:48Speaker 5: you over my good and maybe some wee nigga be
- 57:50Speaker 5: danking liku. Don't worry about that. I got your back, baby,
- 57:52Speaker 5: you hang with me. Yeah yeah, so uh uh, Well,
- 57:58Speaker 5: you got a man that can't talk. You got a
- 58:00Speaker 5: man that can't talk, but he got he got some
- 58:02Speaker 5: good loving go with him though. So you got you
- 58:04Speaker 5: got to You gotta decide maybe which one you won't
- 58:06Speaker 5: Either you want a man and it's gonna talk, articulate
- 58:09Speaker 5: and has everything that you're looking for. Or you got
- 58:12Speaker 5: this he'll belly show enough that's gonna be bringing it.
- 58:15Speaker 5: And that's what you got there. Then and I put
- 58:17Speaker 5: this on, You're gonna lose when I put this, break
- 58:27Speaker 5: your back. Okay, okay, okay, So you got you got
- 58:36Speaker 5: you a man. Yeah, yeah, it's hard to whole that
- 58:40Speaker 5: little character right there. That's that's a that's a bit much.
- 58:43Speaker 5: But anyway, you got yourself a man. You don't know
- 58:45Speaker 5: what to do, and you know what it is, what
- 58:48Speaker 5: it is, you know you but you love him, if
- 58:50Speaker 5: you care about him, then it doesn't really matter. You
- 58:53Speaker 5: fall in form, you know, because you put that thing.
- 58:57Speaker 7: On you know, you know what I'm saying, the.
- 59:01Speaker 1: Lifestyle. So you got your good man.
- 59:07Speaker 5: You know, every every good man is gonna have some
- 59:09Speaker 5: you know, some some some things that are are not
- 59:11Speaker 5: good qualities. Okay, he can't talk that well, that's all right.
- 59:14Speaker 5: But you love him, if you love him that it
- 59:16Speaker 5: is what it is, you know, you know, make the
- 59:18Speaker 5: best of it. Yeah, you know, in my past I
- 59:23Speaker 5: had some women can't talk, you know, I had some
- 59:25Speaker 5: you have, oh yeah, couldn't talk worth a dog on.
- 59:28Speaker 5: I had something I hope you know. O mohamma, when
- 59:31Speaker 5: we get over here, I've had some you know, se
- 59:33Speaker 5: but you take it. But but I'm talking about dropped dead,
- 59:36Speaker 5: fine as all get out.
- 59:38Speaker 1: What ain't nothing wrong with that?
- 59:40Speaker 7: Everything was fine until her sister jumped in.
- 59:43Speaker 1: And everything fine till he tried to say something until
- 59:47Speaker 1: he opened his mouth. He opened his mouth over there
- 59:53Speaker 1: by my sister and him.
- 59:58Speaker 8: Be able to lie to stand him.
- 59:59Speaker 12: Now come on, hey, okay, go and take take it in.
- 1:00:10Speaker 12: We're going to go to see Missy Allen and we

- 1:00:48Speaker 7: All right, it's time now to recap today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: The subject how important it is conversation when you're in love?
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: This young woman wrote in she says her boyfriend is
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: the sweetest person she's ever dated. He picked her up
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: from the airport in his suv. She had just moved
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: to Alabama. Her company hired him to be her driver
- 1:01:08Speaker 7: until her car was delivered. It takes a minute after
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: you move to get your car, so she had a
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: driver for that thanks to her company. She said. The
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: driver showed her around the city. He introduced her to
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: some of his friends. They were a little too hood
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: to ghetto for her. They weren't her cup of tea.
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: They smoked weed and all that, and they were drinking.
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: She's a little more laid back, but she did need
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: someone to hang out with. So guess what the driver
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: was there. So they started hanging out. Okay, they went
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: to dinner, they went to festivals, movies. She said, he's
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: from the South. He's a Southerner, so she really had
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: to get used to how he talked. After a few
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: weeks of being in a new city, she said that,
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: you know, she needed some sex or whatever. She needed
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: to do it, so she invited him to spend the night.
- 1:01:53Speaker 7: And she said, these are her words when I tell you,
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: this guy knows exactly what to do in the bed.
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: So then she's he was nice to her. He was
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: giving her money, all of this stuff. He helped her
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: with things around the house. So she started bragging to
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: him about her to her sister, and her sister said,
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: you mean the one that sounds like he rode in
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: on the short bus and then she started thinking that
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: maybe this guy wasn't right for her because his sister
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: face timed her a lot and she was always joking
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: about how he talks. But she said, she started fall
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: in love with the guy, so she wants to know
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: does it matter what other people like her sister thinks,
- 1:02:34Speaker 7: And she's asking us do his good qualities override how
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: bad he sounds when he talks junior talk.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: For what what are we talking for?
- 1:02:46Speaker 10: The sex is good, it's people with bad sex talk great.
- 1:02:53Speaker 10: There's nothing wrong. You gonna understand everything they're saying.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: Uh huh, uh huh.
- 1:02:58Speaker 10: But the sex is horrible. If you're getting good sex,
- 1:03:01Speaker 10: what you want to talk for, don't even worry about.
- 1:03:03Speaker 10: Don't worry about what your sister saying. Don't worry about
- 1:03:05Speaker 10: none of that. If the sex is this good, why talk?
- 1:03:09Speaker 10: There's other ways to communicate you ain't looking at. If
- 1:03:12Speaker 10: you can't talk, give him pen and paper.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Let it write it down. That's all you got to do.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Understand that. Give him a pen of paper with the
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: same baby I said, do you want to go eat?
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: That's it? You ain't say He couldn't spell that, he
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: can't say it, but he can spell it. You can
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: understand that.
- 1:03:31Speaker 10: If if, if the sex is just good and you
- 1:03:34Speaker 10: want to talk to him, let him email you. He
- 1:03:37Speaker 10: didn't saying he couldn't email. Let him put it in
- 1:03:40Speaker 10: an email.
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: This sex is good, junior women do like to talk,
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: you know what.
- 1:03:46Speaker 10: Let Siri say it for him. That's some other ways
- 1:03:51Speaker 10: he can say it. You ain't got to worry about
- 1:03:55Speaker 10: him talking. This sex is good good it is. If
- 1:04:00Speaker 10: the sex is bad and you understand everything, you can
- 1:04:02Speaker 10: be mad the whole time. But now you got somebody
- 1:04:04Speaker 10: who says that you can't understand. This is your biggest problem.
- 1:04:07Speaker 10: Did your get get one of his relatives to interpret
- 1:04:11Speaker 10: it for him? Just somebody who's been talking to him
- 1:04:14Speaker 10: for a long time. Yeah, that's somebody. Just tell him
- 1:04:17Speaker 10: what do you say?
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: Time?
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: How you say it? He say, you want to go
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: to the movies and see it bad boys? Folk? You
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: want to go? You had all that, all that right there?
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: See that?
- 1:04:31Speaker 10: See how that worried somebody who has talked for him.
- 1:04:37Speaker 10: Oh he said, you find his hell better than miss Elliott.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: Like that?
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Yeah, like that? That's all you gotta do. Get somebody
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: interpt for you.
- 1:04:47Speaker 10: Don't need you ain't got to He ain't got to talk.
- 1:04:49Speaker 10: He brings, he doing other things that may matter of fact,
- 1:04:52Speaker 10: you ain't even talking. You in there screaming because he
- 1:04:54Speaker 10: he ain't got he ain't got talking. You screaming, and
- 1:04:57Speaker 10: you worried.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: This is what you doing? It's okay, do you if
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: it's sign language to sign language? Two thumbs up? Everybody
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: know what two thumbs up me. That's all. That's all good,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: that's all, that's all good.
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: How would he say, for instance, nephew, how would he say, uh,
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: vote for Kamala? How would he say that job I had?
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: He said?
- 1:05:25Speaker 10: He said, he voting for Kamala Harris, and he's excited
- 1:05:28Speaker 10: about the energy surrounding her.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: He said, all that, all that, that's what that means.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: It don't matter. Remember, I'm her. What are you saying?
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: One more time for me?
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: I'm with her?
- 1:05:41Speaker 10: Oh yeah, he said, he with her? With her, he said,
- 1:05:45Speaker 10: I'm with her, That's what he said. Yeah, all this,
- 1:05:49Speaker 10: that's all you need. Quit worry about if he can't talk,
- 1:05:52Speaker 10: don't worry about that. Getting everything you want. God, he
- 1:05:57Speaker 10: hang out with you, He stay with you, He do
- 1:05:59Speaker 10: everything with you. Just get a third party and let
- 1:06:02Speaker 10: him stand in the corner while y'all, while y'all doing
- 1:06:04Speaker 10: y'all thing.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: He can, he can interpret, matter of fact, interpret, interpret
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: what you saying? You screaming? Oh no, she said a lot.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: That's it.
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: If you'll listen to your sister, please.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Yeah, please, don't matter fact Jr.
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: If she go there and get the drinking and smoke
- 1:06:22Speaker 5: with everybody else, she really will start understanding his.
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: Yeah, with his friends that he introduced you to, she
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: said she was too laid back for them, though she
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: did say that.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, it just doesn't matter. It's just he's
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: a good guy. He just can't talk. He's right, what
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: we got who we got Bubba from from Forrest Gump,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Bubba Gump, about that shrimp, about that shrimp. That's it.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: I'm not I wouldn't be worried if I would. You,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: ma'am right.
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: So basically, you're saying his good qualities do override how
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: bad he sounds when he talks.

- 1:19:23Speaker 10: the TV show Life in Alaska.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I'm to fall up in East Woods. That's how far
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: I am. I'm all.
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: Right there in that man.
- 1:19:36Speaker 7: You got your side. You're in the east wing, I'm

- 1:19:46Speaker 7: Would you rather be a contestant on Dancing with the
- 1:19:50Speaker 7: Stars or would you rather be a contestant on Jeopardy?
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Either one of them. I'm losing. I'm losing, yeah, on

- 1:20:12Speaker 7: It's our last break of the day and we'll close
- 1:20:14Speaker 7: out the show right after this.
- 1:20:16Speaker 8: You're listening morning show?
- 1:20:19Speaker 7: All right, Steve, Here we are last break of the day,
- 1:20:22Speaker 7: and uh we're looking for some closing remarks.
- 1:20:25Speaker 8: From you, our leader.
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: You're fearless leader.
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: I guess I could take it this so, you know,
- 1:20:32Speaker 6: because I've been a little different today. I've been more
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: of a uh straight at straight to the mark guy today,
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: you know, So I guess my closing.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Remark should be more of a I should I put
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: it to you? I want to talk about.
- 1:20:52Speaker 6: Just how important it is for everybody to just be
- 1:20:58Speaker 6: in touch with your spiritual side, you know, I think, man, Look,
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: I've grown up as a person spiritually, you know, and
- 1:21:06Speaker 6: I've really really come to understand through travels and everything
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: that there's a lot of different ways that people culturally worship.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: And I've just come to respect that more and more
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: and more.
- 1:21:21Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: My mother was a Sunday school teacher, and she always
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: taught me to be respectful of other faiths and other
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: people's methods, because, she says, Steve, this is working for us.
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: This is what we believe to be true and real,
- 1:21:35Speaker 6: and don't let nobody talk you off this, she say,
- 1:21:40Speaker 6: But I would not think that there's not another route
- 1:21:47Speaker 6: to where we're trying to get to, because there's other
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: sections of the world and other other different people from
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: cultures and raised up a different way. So she say,
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: as you meet these people, you have to be mindful.
- 1:21:59Speaker 6: Don't be so stuck on your way that you wanted
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: your way of the high way. You want to be
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: so enforcedful of your faith and your beliefs that you
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: don't that people get uncomfortable being around you. She said,
- 1:22:10Speaker 6: that ain't your job, she said. Your job is to
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: be light, not darkness. He said, you, she said, you
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: don't just live your life. Where a person that's living
- 1:22:20Speaker 6: in darkness might say, man, how can I get some
- 1:22:23Speaker 6: of that light you got as opposed to walking around
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: passing judge me talking about I see you over there
- 1:22:30Speaker 6: in that dark.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: This is the light right here. She said that ain't
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: how you do it? Just be a light.
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: And so I've always kind of managed to kind of
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: navigate myself through the world like that because I got
- 1:22:44Speaker 6: friends from that's Jewish friends I have, you know, Muslim friends.
- 1:22:49Speaker 6: You know, I have friends man all around the world. Man,
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: and that are some beautiful people. Man, I'm talking about
- 1:22:55Speaker 6: kind live by the same morals, got the same values
- 1:22:58Speaker 6: I got. They love family, they love peace, they love God,
- 1:23:01Speaker 6: they leave joy, they love sharing, they love light, they
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: love hope, they love kindness. They do unto others that
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: they would have them do unto you. All of that
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: and so I become comfortable with it. But I think
- 1:23:13Speaker 6: everybody that hears me should just get in touch with
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: your spiritual side. In twenty twenty one, make a commitment
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: to get a little closer to God, because God is
- 1:23:24Speaker 6: so necessary. Man, I just don't I just don't know
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: how you make it without him. I really don't Oh. Now,
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: don't get me wrong. I'm human. I've attempted it before.
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: I've spent spans in my life not talking to God,
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: not pray, and not confide in any And because of
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: his grace and mercy, he allowed me to survive those
- 1:23:49Speaker 6: moments because he loved me and he knew I knew better.
- 1:23:54Speaker 6: And you might be that person that's going through that too.
- 1:23:57Speaker 6: You might be that person that really knows that there
- 1:24:00Speaker 6: is a God and was really raised up by your
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: grandmother or your mother, and you just slid it off
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: to the left or to the right and with just
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: doing your thing.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: But you can always come back. You can always walk
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: towards the light. You can always pray. You don't have
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: to go to church to pray. You don't have to
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: go to no certain building. And here's the.
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: Important thing about prayer. You don't need permission. You actually
- 1:24:23Speaker 6: can have a relationship with God just yourself. Now, you
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: should try it, because if you're feeling moments of confusion, uncertainty, doubt,
- 1:24:33Speaker 6: if you feel alone, if you don't know what your
- 1:24:37Speaker 6: next move gonna be, can I tell you something? God
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: knows exactly what your next move should be, because He
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: has a plan for you, and if you talk with him,
- 1:24:50Speaker 6: he'll unveil it to you. Now, I'm gonna tell you
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: right now, he's not gonna be easy. He's not gonna
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: be without opposition. It ain't gonna be with our challenges
- 1:25:00Speaker 6: all setbacks. But he'll be there with you the whole way.
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: It's the only explanation I have for my existence today.
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: I wish you would, man. It's just a real simple thing,
- 1:25:13Speaker 6: you know. And I ain't that dude where you know,
- 1:25:16Speaker 6: look you look at me, and I'm always shouting or
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: got my hands up praying or telling you this and
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: telling you that I'm not that person.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: But boy, I got a.
- 1:25:26Speaker 6: Real good relationship with him though, I really do, and
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: it's personal and it gets me through every crisis I've
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: ever had in my life. If you follow my career

- 1:25:39Speaker 6: have fans man, who listen to this radio show every day,

- 1:25:45Speaker 6: survive some Hella hits.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: You've seen them come for me.
- 1:25:52Speaker 6: Oh, I've seen y'all defend me, the real people that
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: really love me and know my spirit in my heart.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: And you've watched them haters come for me.
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: And you've watched every single time he picked me up,
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: set me on solid pathways and directions, dust me off,
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: and next thing you know, I'm rolling again. You've seen
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: him and heard them write me off over and over
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: and over, and every time you look up, I keep
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: shining because that God I served, that merciful, forgiving, loving, understanding.
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: God has promised me that he would never leave me.
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: And you know what, he ain't ever in my darkest moments,
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: he has never ever left me. He has been the
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: one constant thing I can count on my entire life.
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: What he's done for me, he will do for you.
- 1:26:45Speaker 6: All you got to do is talk to him and
- 1:26:47Speaker 6: confide it. Get your relationship with God. He loved to
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: hear from me.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: Talk to him. He really will ask me.
