- Mr Normthegreat1: Welcome to Dope Discussions, where faith isn't quiet and truth isn't comfortable. We're having the conversations most people avoid about purpose, pain, leadership, relationships, identity, and the real walk with God. No pretending, no performance, no watered down gospel, just raw growth, real convictions, and kingdom conversations. and Kingdom conversations that challenge you to become who God called you to be. And now, here's your host, Norm the Great One. Yeah, what I, I, what I may or may not know who it is. It's a great one. We back in the building. Yes, Lord, we back in the building. Another day, another opportunity. You know, that's how we start everything. But I give it thanks to the Most High God for all his many blessings that he's stored upon us, man. And one of the biggest blessings of tomorrow, man, is to be back behind the mic one more time, man. You know, finally we back in the building, man. You know, we don't never take this for granted, man, just to have the opportunity to just see another day, a new day that you've never seen before. It's always a blessing, man. So many people from the last time I was on the air, so many people that left and went on. And it's crazy, man, that we have to take life more serious because at the end of the day, we don't know how much time we got left here, man. So make every day count, every second count. So with that being said, man, you don't have no time to go back and forth with nobody about nonsense, foolishness, stuff that don't even matter. That ain't even gonna matter the next day, the next hour, the minute. So at the end of the day, man, We always grateful man because like I said man, somebody didn't get up the day, somebody didn't see this day, but the fact that you can hear me and you can comprehend whatever the case may be, that's a blessing in itself man. So, you know that's what we do. Hope you had a good weekend, know. Hope you had a good week so far. We're here to get you over the hump man. You know how we do man. That's just what we do. We always grateful over here man, you know. There's just so many things to be grateful for man, that's all. I'm always in a good mood when I think about the blessings and the thing that God allowed me to have and to see, man. I'm grateful. Man, I mean, like, much to somebody else, man, but to me, I learn to be grateful, man, in spite of anything, man. I'm always grateful. I'm thankful. Thankful for the challenges, the struggles, the disappointment. I'm thankful because I know I can see God in the mix of everything, so I'm always grateful, But like I said, man, we here to get you over the hump, and that's what we're gonna do, get you to the weekend, man. So let's get this thing started. We got a good one, man. Like I said, man, hope you all taking care of yourself out there, man. There's a lot of crazy things going on, man. But I won't start off talking about, cause I don't think I've been on last week or whatever. Got busy and tied up, man. But this week I want to talk about, go back to Mother's Day, man. Mother's Day was great. Spent time with the family, man. always, siblings, always loved, man. Had a good time. All that good stuff, man. I can't complain about that. Got back home, went to- Mom's Duke Church, know, by a graveyard site and all that good stuff. It's always a blessing to go home and spend time with family and all that, man. You can't beat that. You can't complain about that at all, you know what saying? To go back home, man. Home's where it's always started. I always give you that. For me personally, I can't speak for nobody else, but for me personally, to go back home, man, is just to remind you, man, this is it started, man, and where you come from and the many blessings that... you had throughout life, man, even if it was a little disappointment, a little struggle, a little back set, all that good stuff. But to see where God brought you from, and where He's taking you, man, is always a blessing, So it's always good to go home, man. But hope you had a good Mother's Day and all that good stuff, and spend time with your loved ones and all that good stuff. Now we moving forward. got one more day weekend coming up. Now hope y'all got good plans. If not, the rest, you'll clean up whatever you got to do. I ain't doing much or nothing, but hey, it is what it is, man. Everybody can go out and be out and about. Y'all be safe out there, man. Be safe. Take it easy. Me personally, like I said before, not too long, I ain't doing much. I be at the crib chilling, man. I ain't doing too much or nothing. Relaxing. That's sometimes, that's always a good thing, studying and relaxing at the house. But let's get this thing started. Now I want to talk about this rap out of Florida. This Julio Fulio, God bless his soul or whatever his name is. I don't want to butcher the brother name because Not familiar with his music or whatever, but, excuse me, his story of how he got killed and the suspect and all that is interesting to me because the main guy in that story was a privileged kid. I won't say privileged. He had a blessed life. He'd been through many countries. His parents was, stepdad and mom was in the military. He had plenty opportunities to do things and for some how or another. he ended up on the wrong side of the tracks. military kid, traveled around the world, went to private school, did all that. And somewhere in my mind, I'm asking myself, how in the hell did he get caught up in the situation that is caught up in at 20 years old? 20 years old, you had your whole life ahead of you, and not only did you not appreciate it, you say, know what? I got it so good, I'ma throw it away. And by doing something stupid, you can let yourself got to the place to where you did the setup, you drive hours away and you did it and was a part of a murder. So this is the part that gets me about kids that's not from the hood or whatever you want to call it. Like, often ask this question, like, why do people gravitate towards that? Because you wasn't raised in that environment. That wasn't your life. What intrigued you about that lifestyle that put you in that place to like, yeah, I'm gonna go kill somebody. I'm gonna just plan a murder, a hit and all that. Like, bro, you came from private school. You was living a different life. You had a photography thing. You was in the pictures and all that. So you went from taking pictures to picking up a gun. And not only that, you took a gun from your parents' house that was a military gun and just did this like it was nothing. And I don't think these kids really understand. I don't know why I'm saying they don't understand. But the ramification of your actions, like folks be thinking that, oh, you can kill somebody. You just want to go home. and chill out like anything happened. You know you're going to jail. You're going to go to jail. and you should go right to jail. People that kill people don't go. People don't go kill people and just go celebrate. And just because you get up there and apologize to the family, that you get to go and get a little slap on the wrist and go home. No, no, no, no, no. That's not how life works, brother. You gonna go to the penitentiary in the state of Florida. You get life. That means you leave in a body bag. So from 20 years old, you done signed yourself over to the state of Florida, and you're gonna be there for the natural born of your life. The rest of your life, every day you open your eyes, that's where you gonna spend the rest of your life at. You clearly couldn't have think this thing through. There's no way we at a place where people think they're smarter than everybody and think they're smarter than the law because no one God's been there. As you thought your crazy butt was gonna go down there, kill somebody, do all that stuff. and ride off into the sunset like cameras ain't everywhere, text messages and phone recording and conversation. Like you're not gonna be linked to that crap. Come on man. But this is a message for all the youth out there to think that they can just go out here and be crazy and keep getting schlaps on the wrist and all that. Your butt is going to the big house. You're going to prison and they're not giving you little time. They're giving you football numbers and they're gonna do away with you. easy way to solve the problem. Don't go to jail. Don't break the law. It's simple. You don't have to go out there and kill nobody. That's not, that's not a part of natural life to sit here and say, I just woke up the day. You know what? I killed somebody. β well, I should be all right. The same GTA. You don't get to start it over or restart this game. You going to jail, you got to set consequences for your actions. And then another part of this that got me in a frenzy a little bit, the the African American folks and the folks that trying to poke holes in this thing like, oh well, the word has saved us. The word sweat equity, sweat equity and that's a racist term and this, that and the third. Sweat equity is the unpaid time for physical labor and mental effort invested into a project or business that builds the value, that builds its value rather than paying with money. Well, hell, ain't that's what he going to do. He going to the chain gang. You think you're finna go in there and see that's the thing that I understand about people. Like a lot of people say, well, they go to prison and they do this and they do this. So you're saying that you're supposed to go to prison and just lay up in prison and play PlayStation and be on Facebook and laptops and eating chicken wings. just in a prison. That's not how hard times work. He is going to be on the chain gang out there, whatever you call it, working, working. Working but see this is a lesson to the other youths out there to think that they can get away with the shenanigans So whatever the case may be look at this case. Look at this case. You're going and they're gonna work you You're not gonna lay out there and play cards that do all this crazy stuff that they show you or try to Make it look so good on tik tok. We having a good time. Hey, not no damn good time. We're going to prison I don't care what nobody tell you cuz half most people in prison As they get a chance to get up today, they'll be gone today. So don't let nobody fool you with that nonsense about, β well, β well, they just talking like that. It ain't that bad. Ain't that bad nothing. Who just volunteered to go to prison? To do what? Life outside ain't that damn bad. I go to work, I figure something out. But just to say you gonna give your life about 20 to go to prison for the rest of your life? Nah, that ain't That ain't it. And I mean, the thing that gets me is like, how did that word just got them going so crazy? I mean, I don't get it, you know? Like, you're poking a hole about it. You're poking a hole about the word, but we take in the main focus off of why he even in this situation from the start. I'm a father. I got two kids, man. I got a kid in his 20s and my kid in late teens about to be in his 20s. And I look at, I can look at them. β I think about that and never would fathom them be in a place where they done for the rest of their life over a stupid choice that you make, that you got that much anger, whatever you got built up in you. Like you had plenty of time to change your mind, but all in your phone, you tracking their social media, you doing all this here. That's the envy or the hate or whatever you got going on, brother. You got a long time to work it out because in all that time, you had a lot of time. to turn around and go do something else or leave that alone. But no one said instead, you wanted that body under your belt and you wanted to be a part of that. There's something in you that you wanted to be a part of. And now you in it, brother. No need to break down and cry now and all. All this stuff here, nah, bro. Cause you didn't have to do it. Nah, I don't know what you're involved in or what they're involved in, but it wasn't a life or death situation because of the matter. Fact of the matter is you wasn't defending yourself or nothing. You went and haunt this man down, at the end of the day, it couldn't have been that bad. He wasn't looking for you, clearly. And every day somebody get trick out their position off the street to go back in the penitentiary because they can't control their emotions or whatever they got going on and they feel they got a proof of point. Well sir, your point was well seen and well taken and guess what? You and your capadres is gonna spend the rest of your natural born life in the penitentiary. And you got nobody to blame but yourself. It don't make a difference, It's unfortunate, absolutely. What is it, three or four young brothers and they killed one and shot somebody? Like, all the families gotta go through this, It ain't just a loss. It's a hell of a loss because these kids that's going to jail for life, they got parents and family. They don't think about that part, but they got parents and family, people that love them, you would hope. And just to see them throw it away just like that over whatever. and they got videos of them coming back and they going to party and drinking and having a good time, celebrate. That's what we had in life where in 2026, where people just killed like it's nothing and celebrated like it's nothing. celebrate. No conviction. Some of the stuff people do is clearly no conviction. Because if you had conviction, the conviction wouldn't allow you to do certain things. Like I said before, but a lot of these people don't have no conviction or nothing at all. It don't matter to them. So what if they pop somebody? They'll kill somebody and go lay down like it's nothing and go to bed and go out and have a good time and live like a normal life. Like, oh well, you know, I may have. You know, killed somebody earlier tonight or yesterday, you know? You know? β well. It is what it is. Life goes on. Whoop-de-doo. What's the one the rapper said? I can't remember who exactly it If we get life in jail, whoop-de-doo. Whoop-de-doo? β nah, nah, nah, brother. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, But no, no, no, I whooped to do nothing. God said, come and give your life a life more. But I want that life, not that life they talking about. Uh-uh, that's all right. Like I said, I live the square life. Come on here, motivate more people and get more people to try to do the right thing and get it this way and trust God and what God wants for me and have for me, all the other stuff, they can keep it because it's not worth it. The Bible says clearly, we're proud for the man that gained the world. and lose your soul. So at the end of the day, all the stuff you accumulate is worth nothing. Because it ain't gonna benefit you nothing. And that's for the youth out there, like I said before. Prime example, you've been warned, you've seen it. So don't get that mindset that, that ain't gonna be me or oh, this, that and the third. Yeah, I'm pretty sure they have the same mindset too. That oh, it ain't gonna be me or I believe this. It ain't gonna happen to me. I don't know. Cause everybody who commit crimes or try to do something, they always believe that that ain't gonna be their story. For some one or another, they believe their story gonna be a little more different than how the other person do it. You don't see many examples that nobody got away and everybody went to jail, but they'll sit there and tell you that, I ain't worried about that. I just know how it can work out. and you'll be right in jail with the rest of them because it makes no sense. It costs you nothing to do the right thing, man. It costs you nothing. And I don't understand for the life of me why nobody want to go out here and work and get what you're supposed to get. Like, it's this victim mentality out here. I personally don't care for, don't like, because the way was raised and the way my parents brought me up, honestly, I honestly and truly can say this, I don't care who got more money than me. I don't care who got more houses than me. I don't care who got whatever they got. God bless them. They got to pay for that. That's good for them. I like what I like. I like what I got going on and I'm cool with it. I'm not a competition with nobody. Never was. I like to see people have nice things. If I see somebody with a nice car, so that's nice, man. I like that. But that don't mean I want one. It doesn't mean I want to go get one. mean, oftentimes I hear this conversation where people compare themselves to other people and that victim mindset, β they got this and look who we got. Why are you wondering what somebody else got? They sell it to you? If that's what you want, grind. Work, stack your bread or whatever you got to do. Talk to some people that got it and see what it is and figure out a way to get it the right way. Instead of complaining about, they got this and you don't know what, see, oftentimes. A lot of people get in a situation looking at what somebody else got. β the white man got this and this, that, and the third. You don't know what that person do to get what they get. They can be scamming, robbing, killing, doing all types of illegal stuff. Just to live a life that you jealous of. Or you watching and saying, how'd he get this and why'd he got that? I should have that. No, you shouldn't have nothing if you didn't put the work in to get nothing. Faith ain't fair, man. favor is not fair, neither is blessings. You see? So, you know, at the same time, there's a lot of things that happen in your life that you could have got caught up in or whatever, but a blessing came through that you didn't, or wasn't as bad as you thought. You see what I'm saying? So, oftentimes, man, you gotta be thankful because favor ain't fair, Somebody's favor might be on this, yours might be on that, and vice versa. Who knows how favor work and how the blessings work? But to sit here and watch other people's stuff and thinking, I should have that, That's a sickness, man. To me, that's crazy because oftentimes I hear this conversation over and over and over where people comparing themselves to other people and saying what they should have. I mean, at the end of the day, you can't say what you should have unless you have put the work in to get to where you're supposed to get. And just because you put the work in, that don't mean it works like that. Sometimes things happen. Things don't line up like I was supposed to, and maybe it ain't your time. Because of some people that's hateful and crazy, all I ever hear them talk about. Well, I'm not calling nobody name, but... They're famous, but all they ever do is talk about other people money. How much money they got? How much money they spend? Who cares? Who cares? Who cares, excuse me, who cares about what somebody else got going on? If you can stop worrying about what other people got going on and focus on yourself and lock in on your life and do what's best for you and put yourself in the best situation every day you get off your butt and you grind and do what you gotta do to make sure you're making the right choices, right decisions to put you in the right place, to link up with the right people, rub ever with the right people. then you should be all right. But you gotta have that relationship with God and trust God, man. God's time ain't never our time, man. You we could be thinking that, we deserve this at this time, all that time, God looking at you like, nah, bro, you don't need that now. You ain't gonna mess it up or destroy it. You only wait a little while. And sometimes you gotta thank God for the prayers that he didn't answer. Because knowing wholeheartedly, a lot of times we pray for things, ask for things. We're not ready to receive. We ain't gonna do nothing but mess it up or don't appreciate it. You know, everybody will tell you that I'm ready for this or I should have this, that and the third. But then you ask them, are you qualified for what you're asking for? I'm not saying that you're beneath it or it's too good for you. But my thing is, are you prepared and ready for what you're asking for? To take care of it, to take care of it, to make sure you don't mishandle it. Make sure you got room enough to receive it. Because lots of times, man, like I said before, man, we always asking for stuff or praying for stuff. Then you know good and dang well that you ain't healed enough for that man or healed enough for that woman or that marriage or whatever you're talking about because a past stuff that you didn't deal with. But then you sitting there keep bringing God, God, just please bring me somebody. Send me somebody that gonna love me right and treat me right and all that. Well, what happened when it does? What happened when he does? that you're not prepared and ready for, what you gonna do with it? You're not even gonna be able to recognize it because you didn't do what you're supposed to do. Before summoning God or praying to whoever you believe or whatever the case would be, over here we only got one true living God. So we can start that part right there. My bad, scratch that. But my thing is to sit there and be praying and I mean, fast and praying on something that you don't have the capacity to handle. It's ridiculous. Oftentimes people pray for stuff and they petition God about things and you ask them why? They don't have an answer. They just want it. Or here's another big one. I feel I deserve it. Well, if you ask any human, they would always believe they deserve more than what it really is. That's common. You can ask the average person right now what they feel they deserve. Everybody gonna say more money. Everybody gonna say that for the most part. More time, more health. of health. Because at the end of the day, what good is all the other stuff if you ain't got time? You can have it, but not enough time to enjoy it. What if you got anything that you prayed for you asked for, right? And within two days you die, you leave here. You can say you had it, but did you enjoy it? You didn't even get nowhere near the point to say you enjoyed it, but you got it. But you didn't ask for more time to enjoy the things that you prayed for. You just asked her for the things. Yeah, you might got it, but will you be able to enjoy it? So stop getting into that rut about what somebody else got. You don't know what they did to get it. It could be right or wrong, but that's theirs. It's okay to look at people's stuff and be like, yeah, you know, that's a nice house. That's a good idea. You know, if I get a house, might get something similar or that's a good idea. How they got that turn. I like this down the third, but never look at nothing as an, β this should have been me or why I can't do this or when it's going to be my turn. Did you put yourself in the place to be next? And like I said before, favor is not fair. I don't care who you are, how much you pray, how much of a good person you are, whatever the case may be. The Bible states clear, it rains on the just, just as well as the unjust. So we can sit there and play that game about this, that, and that, the third. life just will like. Ain't nothing we can do with that. Just gotta ride that wing and ride that thing up. Like my uncle always said, that tide will come back in. So just like it go out like it seem like you in a rut, you can't get nothing popping. Everything just like this and that and this happening. But when that tide come back in, now's your time. Now's your time. Hope you be ready and prepared. Because now's your time. You up now. Because you done been through that time. It should have prepared you for what's to come. You done been through the hard times. So now she's prepared for the ready, prepared and ready for that easy ride for the most part, at least for that moment. Most people ain't doing the work in that storm. So you gotta believe in the storms. You can't just believe when things are going good. Oftentimes a lot of people... I call them front runners because long as everything going the way they want it to go or whatever the case would be, they're good. But the minute that wind start to blow, their faith being tested, why is always me? I can't catch a break. It's always me. If it ain't one thing, it's another. I don't understand. I can't get it right. Why always gotta be me? Why not you? And why not, she was the better question. If you ain't getting God, why not you? You're gonna be tested. You're gonna be tested. So if it wasn't for the bad and the hard times, how would you know that you gotta save, yeah? That gonna bring you through. You gotta thank Him in advance. Always give thanks, man. Always. Like for me, I always say, I give thanks to God regardless of what I got, what I got going on. I don't thank God, I praise Him for the things that He do. I praise Him for who He is, and I know who got me. That's it. and I go to God just asking for opportunity and a chance. That's it. Once I see another day, He grant me a wish, He grant me again. I got another day and that's what I got an opportunity to go be better than when I was yesterday and go make something happen. That's all it's about man. That's all it's about. Ain't about you sitting there and, excuse me, wanting somebody to just give you something. No man, I don't want nobody giving me number. I want what God got for me. Whatever God got for me is for me. I'm not concerned about nobody else, I'm not. I am not concerned about nobody else, man. And then like I said, man, you know, I look at these social media streets, man. There's just always some division stuff, you know. They got the, still got the man and the woman and this, that, a third. Women making posters about cheat first, always keep a backup plan, this, that, a third. There's so many people out there just spilling hatred, ignorant information. And they got so many people just sucking it up like a sponge, clock it and all this toxic nonsense, man, like. At some point in time, we have to get together as a people collectively and learn how to forgive, move forward with love and peace. Men need women and women need men. Now, if somebody listening right now, I don't need nobody. I don't need that, that's your thing, that's your thing. I can respect that too. But at the end of the day, we need families. And with our family, we can never have communities. So, yeah, you can do this by yourselves. But with a family... that you can be a better man with the right wife and vice versa for the woman. For a woman to have to... covering that she needs, she only gonna get that from the right mouth. So at the end of the day, we can sit here and say, well, she got all these degrees or whatever the case might be, but she only gonna be limits that go by so far. Because at the end of the year, she can go on her trip and buy all the vehicles and do all the things she wanna do. But until she get out there and have that proper covering, she'll never be in the rightful place. I mean, that's syndicated stuff now, that's what you're into now. If you ain't into that or you trying to live like that, then that, whatever, kudos to you, man. You're not trying to tell nobody β how to live or whatever kids are gonna be. But at the end of the day, like I said, this kingdom been this kingdom conversation, you know? you know, me personally, man, as a man of God and study the Word and all that, I get agitated when I see people talking about... I know I'll have to defend it, I give my two cents on it because it was this dude, I don't even want to call the brother name. He always spewed stuff about church and Christianity, whatever the case may be. He was saying like, well, if God was this, that, and the third, why most people that go to church broke and working at Walmart or this, that, and the third? But here's the deal. And just because you see somebody working at Walmart or whatever, who said they ain't rich? Rich, rich. See, everybody want to equivalent being rich to money. But most of the people that got money ain't no happiness or peace with that. A lot of people built their hopes on other things. They trust in God and they got their family. They got their health. They got a nice stable home. They got a couple of vehicles. They go on vacation. enjoy. They got a family. They love each other. They respect each other. That's rich to some people and I can respect that. But we got to a place where we put a dollar sign on everything. If you ain't got this, or you ain't got that, you ain't rich. like, because those rich people don't struggle. Rich people don't have issues. They have everyday working people issues, but they got other issues. And the goal, I guess, the target is to be rich. Forget about your soul salvation and be at peace. We supposed to have money and be rich. And you ain't rich because of the church. I don't understand. The concept that they thought, they don't never make sense. Because you you're supposed to be rich because you know, you're in the Lord and God and this right here. They never call nobody to be rich. They never call nobody to give you life more abundantly. Not saying you can't be. But then there's also things that the individual gotta do. I mean, everybody think that, oh, well, if you're a believer and you go to church or whatever, you go automatically be rich. Your life shouldn't be. hard or you shouldn't have no issues. See, that's what people don't know scripture and don't understand. And that's another false sense that a lot of people get. And I believe that's why a lot of people get turned off because they believe that once they give their life over to Christ, their new creation, all things pass away, that they don't have no troubles, you know? Ain't nowhere in that no 66 books to tell you that once you give your life to Christ. and become one of his own, that your life just become perfect. You don't have no issues, nothing gonna happen. Your kids gonna act right. You'll get the perfect husband. Jesus himself went through things. Everybody through the whole books of the Bible had struggles. Where you gonna go on earth or anywhere in this life and don't have struggles. Things will happen. So I don't know where to get this narrative that if you sign up, or if you Give your life to Christ that miraculously you even have no troubles. Everything just go away, man. You finna just wake up the next day and be rich. You gonna wake up the next day, have all your health and scream, and you just gonna be just la-di-da-di-da. It's just this perfect world. It don't exist, people. You think you had trouble when you was out in the world. Give your life to Christ. You think the devil and stuff ain't gonna come at you two times more? I don't get it, Like I said, I really don't get how people sit back and make these assumptions and don't get it twisted. There are a lot of pastors out there that give false information to people and have people thinking that with this prosperity gospel that you can do X, Y, Z and this will happen, that ain't true, man. A lot of that stuff is hocus pocus and a lot of people is out there after people money or whatever the case may be. But that's not everybody. The Bible says study to show yourself approval. So, instead of listening to somebody down now, you need to get on your knees, ask God to come into your life, get your Bible, and start reading for yourself and ask God for understanding and guidance. Until you can get to a real Bible-based church that teach real Bible and not that nonsense that they screwing up that prosperity thing. That everything, everybody gonna be rich and in two days, they say 20 people, nah man, excuse me. Line it up with scriptures because there ain't no scripture to say nothing about stuff they're talking. So if it don't line up, why would you fall for it? You can fall for it because you don't read and study yourself. When you study for yourself, you don't have them issues. You can have conversation. You can ask questions. Like I said again, the Bible says study to show your self-approval. They always say you want to hide stuff from folks. Put it in the book, they ain't gonna read it. I agree with that wholeheartedly. Most people don't study, they don't read anything. They just pick up the book, the Bible on Mondays, Sundays. When they go to church and read along, they don't study nothing during the week. They don't even read the daily bread, they don't do nothing. But they do nothing and expect God to do so much for them. They don't spend an intimate time with them, they don't say no. They don't spend a one-on-one time with them, don't fast, they don't do nothing. But somehow or another, they're supposed to come on this side and... Everything's just supposed to line up, work out, and you know, it don't matter. Everything's just supposed to be hunky dory because you made the decision. That's the beginning. That's just the basic beginning of the whole situation. You don't get to just make that decision and think that, man, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, yeah, it's always a great decision to give your life to Christ and walk that walk. But at the end of the day, you're going to be tried. Temptation is going to be double, triple. You're going to have obstacles. You're gonna fall. The Bible says the righteous man fall and gets back up. But the wicked man falls but never get back up. So they're telling it right there. You're gonna fall. There's no such thing as being perfect, because it's not gonna happen. You try your best to avoid certain situations and certain things, because some things are unacceptable at all. It's a choice. You made that choice. But for the most part, It is what it is because I don't know what this fantasy and this illusion about once you come to Christ how your life supposed to be. Your life's gonna be better. It's gonna be different than you get a you won't get a conviction. get that conviction. There are certain things you ain't gonna want to do. Certain place you ain't gonna want to go. But that don't mean you get this. lavish life and everything that's this, that, and third, all the bells and whistles, what you get is what you work for. And like I said, again, faith ain't fair. Now can it happen? Absolutely, absolutely it can happen. God's still in the blessing business, So absolutely it can happen. But it's not to the degree that people thinkin' it is. You can't be like the be like the magician and man try to in the Bible try to buy blessing You can't buy blessings. I don't work like that man. You shouldn't even want to you shouldn't even want to because it don't even work like that But I see so many people attack the church, attack the book. It's just crazy, man. know, it's so many ways I can see why a lot of people lost and a lot of people don't have direction because there's so many different things out there. And anytime you give people so many different options, that's how you're going to be because everybody want to know or either someone want to know so they volunteer to try to be close or find some information like-minded. Some people just start all type of ideology to themselves. They just start talking all type of foolishness. You be sitting there like, how did you get that? Like, where did you get that from? And they just start to saying all type of foolishness that they say they believe. Well, clearly you're the only one that believe that, because ain't nobody else rocking with you. But, you know, unfortunately, they'll have a few blind witnesses to go with it. They always have a few blind witnesses. Like for me man, like I tell people all the time, from Christ I live, from Christ I die. Man, I believe in Christ to the end. I believe in the book, I believe in God, I thank God every day. And the one beautiful thing about it man, God is a gentleman. He's not gonna force himself on you. He's not gonna beg you. He said, all that labor and heavy burden come to me, I'll give you rest. That's what he said in his word. But I guess if you ain't laid in a heavy burden, and you ain't looking for rest, keep doing what you do, you know? That's your choice. You have a choice in the matter. You definitely do. I mean, ain't nobody forcing you to do anything. Yeah, because it was this other story with this sister saying that she gave up on church because they keep, what, she gave this much money or they're taking this money, something with the money. But my thing is, you don't have to give your life savings away to the church. The church do need money to run and handle certain things because it's a building. Absolutely, it got lights. You want to go there with lights, want to go there with heat in there. The thing that get me, everybody wants so much from the place, but don't want to give much to the place. How'd that work? How'd that work? Everybody can tell you what something should be doing or how it should be running. But you ever notice the people that say that? How they life running? You can't manage your own life, but you're always over there trying to manage somebody else's one. Or telling somebody what they should be doing. You know, you do what you're supposed to do and keep your eyes on what you're doing. Cause everybody can tell somebody else how to run their life. And their life jacked up, upside down, and everything else. But they still worrying about somebody else's life. That's not how it works. That's not how that works at all. But like I said, man, you got to do what's best for you at all times. Do what's best for you. I start worrying about the next man or the next woman. Everything be all right, That's just how it goes, man. Keep your eyes on the prize, man. Don't lose focus. Stay locked in. Because a lot of stuff that'll get you distracted at off track. So you have to stay focused. and stay locked in, Because, you know, the wide road is loaded. But narrow is the way, man. Because ain't much looking to go the narrow road. Everybody on the wide road looking for really success, really acolytes and stuff that ain't gonna matter after a while anyway. So do what you gotta do to stay on that narrow road, man. Because that's what gonna keep you. A lot of stuff ain't gonna keep you, It's just temporary. It's just temporary stuff that just, that gonna make you feel good for the moment. You need something that's fulfilling that gonna sustain you. But if you ain't got that, then I don't know what to tell you, but I know where you can find it. You're coming to your life, which you gotta come to him. All you gotta labor the heavy burden and give him rest. So at the end of day, it's up to you, man. You know, it's your choice. You ain't gotta do nothing you don't wanna do. Don't force it, but who's you to go before it's too late? Like I said, man, you know, that's all I wanted to say today. I just wanted to chop this up with you. Hope y'all enjoyed the show, man. I appreciate the love and the support, man. I do. I don't take none of this for granted, man. You know, we're doing big things, man. I thank everyone for tuning in, and just showing love and support, man, for the show. And like I said, man, if God willing, man, we'll be in the same place, the same time next week. Peace, we outta here.
