- 0:38Speaker 1: don't you join ye well by join me into being me?
- 0:53Speaker 1: Honey said you gotta turn, Yeah, you you gotta turn.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Won't the turn at the time? You love got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn out to turn the water the water go? Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back. Uh huh, i's your will A
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig you now wanting only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Um.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Five things that I know successful people have to do
- 2:16Speaker 1: to be successful. The principles are the same. You can
- 2:19Speaker 1: apply it to anything, you know, if you want to
- 2:22Speaker 1: be happily married, you know, whatever it is. The principles
- 2:26Speaker 1: of success are the same. There are a series of
- 2:29Speaker 1: things that you have to do. You cannot skip the
- 2:31Speaker 1: steps of success. If you do, you're going to have
- 2:34Speaker 1: to go back and step on them. Anyway. So here's
- 2:38Speaker 1: here's here's here's a part man that I want you
- 2:41Speaker 1: all to understand about me, and and and and about
- 2:45Speaker 1: how to look at it. You know, you cannot under
- 2:52Speaker 1: estimate faith and prayer. You just can't. You cannot underestimate
- 3:02Speaker 1: the power of faith and the power of prayer. See
- 3:08Speaker 1: for me, this is just for me. Now, this saying
- 3:11Speaker 1: in the scripture nowhere, this is just something I discovered.
- 3:14Speaker 1: What prayer did for me was was it tied me
- 3:18Speaker 1: to my creator. It gave me a sense and I'm
- 3:25Speaker 1: describing it this way, but I'm telling you it's deeper
- 3:28Speaker 1: than this. But it gave me a sense that I
- 3:31Speaker 1: wasn't alone, and in actuality I wasn't. But prayer helped
- 3:38Speaker 1: connect me to the power source that was available to
- 3:42Speaker 1: me to get through, get around, or get over whatever
- 3:50Speaker 1: it was that was in the way. Whether it was
- 3:53Speaker 1: just a period I stretched, I had to go through
- 3:55Speaker 1: hard work. It had a period I had to go
- 3:58Speaker 1: through to learn some lessons. Uh, some periods I had
- 4:02Speaker 1: to go through from having to pay for some of
- 4:04Speaker 1: the mistakes I've made. Whatever the case may be, Prayer
- 4:08Speaker 1: gave me a decided advantage, especially oh here we go,
- 4:19Speaker 1: especially over my enemies. Now, the majority of people in
- 4:25Speaker 1: my life that were my enemies. I didn't want them
- 4:27Speaker 1: to be my enemies, make no mistake about this. But
- 4:32Speaker 1: through the thing called life, some things went down. Some
- 4:35Speaker 1: things happened from here and then went over here or
- 4:37Speaker 1: that way, and a person became my enemy. The majority
- 4:42Speaker 1: of enemies I had came out of nowhere. I have
- 4:46Speaker 1: no reason to even see why they are my enemies.
- 4:49Speaker 1: But you know, life goes on, man, It happens from
- 4:53Speaker 1: time to time. Some some people just won't let it go.
- 4:56Speaker 1: See some people, in their quest to do something to
- 5:01Speaker 1: you or to make you pay, they just won't let
- 5:04Speaker 1: it go. What may cause you some discomfort, and some
- 5:08Speaker 1: of them maybe lies about you and all of this
- 5:10Speaker 1: and all of that, but you that that that can't
- 5:13Speaker 1: prohibit you from going forward. So what I'm saying is
- 5:17Speaker 1: prayer gave me the strength, wisdom understanding the carriage to
- 5:21Speaker 1: either go through it, go around it, or go over it.
- 5:27Speaker 1: But it happened. And that's what prayer does. And I
- 5:31Speaker 1: don't want you to underestimate the power of prayer because
- 5:35Speaker 1: you're going to need it on this way. Now here's
- 5:37Speaker 1: a deal. You could do this without prayer, but it's
- 5:41Speaker 1: going to be so so incredibly difficult. See. Look, becoming
- 5:48Speaker 1: successful is already difficult. Now try doing it without prayer
- 5:53Speaker 1: and faith. I I can't see how it gets done now,
- 6:02Speaker 1: see I don't. I don't see how I can get done.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I mean personally. Now, somebody else can have a book
- 6:07Speaker 1: or write a story and tell you something totally different,
- 6:11Speaker 1: But day ain't. On the Steve Harvey Morning Show, I'm
- 6:15Speaker 1: telling you the truth as it happened for me. I
- 6:20Speaker 1: do not know how I could have made it without
- 6:25Speaker 1: faith and without prayer. It would have something would have
- 6:29Speaker 1: got me. YouTube would have got me. The bloggers would
- 6:36Speaker 1: have got me. You know that teacher that told me
- 6:41Speaker 1: that would have was never gonna be nothing. She would
- 6:44Speaker 1: have got me. My partners that I grew up with,
- 6:49Speaker 1: that when used to laugh behind my back, they would
- 6:52Speaker 1: have got me. My friend that would old my mother's
- 6:56Speaker 1: house one time and told her, you know what Steve's
- 6:58Speaker 1: problem is he out to telling them jokes. He just lazy,
- 7:02Speaker 1: he don't want to work. That would have got me.
- 7:07Speaker 1: They didn't know. I ain't really mad at him, because
- 7:10Speaker 1: they were just All they was doing was based in
- 7:12Speaker 1: their conversations and past and judgment based on what they knew,
- 7:17Speaker 1: based on what they believed, they didn't believe I was
- 7:21Speaker 1: gonna make it. But but that's them though. If it
- 7:26Speaker 1: was not for the faith, which is the belief in
- 7:28Speaker 1: things that you cannot see, I wouldn't have made it
- 7:32Speaker 1: because I would have listened to everybody else who didn't
- 7:35Speaker 1: see me getting here and went along with it. And
- 7:41Speaker 1: then prayer. Oh my goodness, man, how many times has
- 7:44Speaker 1: prayer bailed me out? Prayer has bailed me out? Press steel,
- 7:49Speaker 1: belling me out? Tell you the truth, man, quiet as
- 7:54Speaker 1: its kelp, prayer. That connection to your heavenly Father, that
- 8:01Speaker 1: connection to your creator, that connection to that source of
- 8:04Speaker 1: power and inspiration, that connection of never feeling that you're alone.
- 8:09Speaker 1: You know, I was watching a Bishop Jake's on the
- 8:11Speaker 1: TV yesterday and it was a repeat, and one of
- 8:16Speaker 1: the things he was talking about, well, let me just
- 8:20Speaker 1: get to the gist of it. I was going through
- 8:24Speaker 1: a portion of my life and I and I and
- 8:28Speaker 1: I went through it for some years, y'all. I had
- 8:30Speaker 1: gotten myself into a jam that lasted for years, I'm
- 8:35Speaker 1: telling you, for years, with some serious consequences to follow.
- 8:40Speaker 1: For years. And I was so busy looking at who
- 8:48Speaker 1: I was at I was sulking sometimes, Man, I'd get
- 8:54Speaker 1: on the radio, Man, I'd be just done. I was sulking. My, my, my,
- 9:01Speaker 1: My spirit had gotten low. I had gotten tired of
- 9:04Speaker 1: the fight, and I would I would come on some morners, man,
- 9:09Speaker 1: and I will try try not to let on. But
- 9:11Speaker 1: I was hurting. I was because I've been in it
- 9:13Speaker 1: for years. Man, I had been in this thing for years.
- 9:17Speaker 1: And one thing I was doing, I was so busy
- 9:20Speaker 1: looking at where I was at. And when I was
- 9:23Speaker 1: watching Bishop Jake's, he preached this sermon. He was talking
- 9:28Speaker 1: about so busy looking at where you at that you
- 9:37Speaker 1: don't even realize that God has been with you the
- 9:44Speaker 1: entire time. And you know what, Man, just yesterday, just yesterday,
- 9:50Speaker 1: I heard this and I text him a text Bishop Jake's,
- 9:55Speaker 1: and I thanked him because it was an old message
- 9:57Speaker 1: I could tell. And I called a text him up
- 10:00Speaker 1: and I said, Man, thank you so much. I was
- 10:02Speaker 1: just watching you on TV and you told me, Man
- 10:06Speaker 1: something that I that I'll always remember that whatever you're
- 10:09Speaker 1: going through, that He's there with you the whole time.
- 10:14Speaker 1: But see when sometimes when you're so busy looking at
- 10:16Speaker 1: where you at, you don't even notice where he is,
- 10:19Speaker 1: and see sometimes, man that that helped me and that's
- 10:23Speaker 1: going to help me in the future to realize that
- 10:25Speaker 1: what I'm going through, that he's there. He's there with me,
- 10:28Speaker 1: and he's gonna protect me, and he's gonna let my
- 10:31Speaker 1: enemies overcome me, and he ain't gonna let nobody overtake me,
- 10:34Speaker 1: and he ain't gonna let me go under because he's there.
- 10:38Speaker 1: It's just you can't be so busy looking at where
- 10:40Speaker 1: you at that you don't take notice or where he at.
- 10:42Speaker 1: God is always there, He's always available. And the best
- 10:46Speaker 1: way to tap into that and know it is you
- 10:48Speaker 1: got to pray. Prayer has changed my life. Prayer can
- 10:52Speaker 1: change your life. You can become something if you just pray.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You to show everybody around the world you're a listening.

- 22:40Speaker 1: can get you over at student Affairs and come in
- 22:42Speaker 1: and have a meeting with us. But we wanted to
- 22:43Speaker 1: bring it to your attention now. You took a one
- 22:47Speaker 1: of your last subjects was English, uh, and you had
- 22:50Speaker 1: an English exam with a You guys are writing an essay.
- 22:54Speaker 1: M I R M R AM I correct about that? Yeah, yeah,
- 22:58Speaker 1: that's true. Okay, See, we got some problems here that
- 23:01Speaker 1: the professor there is actually a senior meeting that you
- 23:04Speaker 1: may have cheated on this on this essay that you've
- 23:07Speaker 1: actually written cheated. No, I mean from from what he's
- 23:13Speaker 1: telling us here at Student Affairs is that you may
- 23:16Speaker 1: have plagiarized from things that uh that we're in your
- 23:20Speaker 1: essay due. No, I didn't. I didn't plagiarize nothing that
- 23:23Speaker 1: was in the essay. Everything is documented like it should be.
- 23:25Speaker 1: So I don't know what you're talking about, especially cheating
- 23:28Speaker 1: on no exam or no paper nothing like that. You
- 23:30Speaker 1: must got me mixed up with somebody else. No, no, no,
- 23:32Speaker 1: not at all. You're actually Mr Travan, correct. I mean
- 23:35Speaker 1: that's me. But I didn't cheat on no exam for
- 23:38Speaker 1: that matter. Okay, well, let me let me try to
- 23:40Speaker 1: bring you up to speed here, Survan. What we're gonna
- 23:42Speaker 1: need is, we're gonna need you to actually come in
- 23:45Speaker 1: and talk to us over here at student affairs so
- 23:47Speaker 1: we can try to get this thing rectified. But I
- 23:50Speaker 1: will let you know, it's gonna take a few more
- 23:52Speaker 1: days longer than graduation. So as of right now, you're
- 23:56Speaker 1: actually not gonna be walking uh and graduating with the
- 24:00Speaker 1: us to the students. Man, dude, man, you got me
- 24:03Speaker 1: messed up. What's what you mean? I'm not gonna be
- 24:05Speaker 1: walking well until we get this situation rectified here. You're
- 24:08Speaker 1: not gonna be graduating with the rest of the students now,
- 24:12Speaker 1: Dot I don't know what you gotta do, but y'all
- 24:14Speaker 1: need to figure it out or find out what the

- 24:48Speaker 1: are you calling me sir? This is not something that
- 24:50Speaker 1: professors actually take care of. This is a student affair
- 24:53Speaker 1: situation now, and it's a very sensitive situation. And what
- 24:56Speaker 1: we want to do is try to get this thing
- 24:57Speaker 1: taken care of. And if you if what you're saying
- 25:00Speaker 1: is actually true, then you're probably graduating Man, where you

- 25:21Speaker 1: even tithing to here. What you've got to say? Man?
- 25:23Speaker 1: My family is coming down here from everywhere to see
- 25:25Speaker 1: me graduate. No, I'm the first graduate from my family.
- 25:28Speaker 1: You're talking about some talk about my cheat on the paper,
- 25:31Speaker 1: paper a paper. Can you come me? Man, I'm gonna
- 25:35Speaker 1: work two and three jos to see me to this school.
- 25:38Speaker 1: And now I'm coming getting rid of to graduate and
- 25:40Speaker 1: you're talking about I got to wait until August to graduate. Man,
- 25:43Speaker 1: hell not. I'm on my way to the office right now.
- 25:46Speaker 1: And you can tell whoever the professor is that I'm
- 25:48Speaker 1: on my way and he needs to be there too, sir.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I can really tell you that we can try and
- 25:52Speaker 1: get this thing rectified and earlier the next Wednesday. Man,
- 25:55Speaker 1: what's your name again? And where where is your office?
- 25:58Speaker 1: I'm in student prayers. I'm Josh. Okay, okay, okay. So
- 26:01Speaker 1: I'm about to get in my car right now, and
- 26:03Speaker 1: I'm about to come over there and we're gonna handle
- 26:04Speaker 1: it today. And I am, how are you singing to
- 26:06Speaker 1: me cheating on the exam paper? Man? Is that is
- 26:12Speaker 1: the professor? Here? Are you telling me? Do I've been
- 26:16Speaker 1: in five Yes, I'm the first man to graduate from Carmors. Man,
- 26:22Speaker 1: my grandmo is eighty two years old, and she come

- 26:28Speaker 1: about seeing on the papers and I got away till
- 26:30Speaker 1: all just a graduates. Make you tell me, professor to
- 26:35Speaker 1: come to your office right now, because I'm already in
- 26:37Speaker 1: my car on my way to come to your office.
- 26:39Speaker 1: And we're gonna handing this today. Man, you got me.
- 26:43Speaker 1: I don't have any more room or my s to
- 26:45Speaker 1: actually pull anybody in today or he's gonna call me
- 26:48Speaker 1: with like this, something about you ain't got room on
- 26:51Speaker 1: your schedule. And hell now, miss missile whatever your name is,

- 27:00Speaker 1: want front. It's gonna be a problem. I ain't graduating.
- 27:03Speaker 1: And if you ain't, you guys to deal with me.
- 27:05Speaker 1: You got to deal with my family and my mama
- 27:07Speaker 1: we're gonna play this. Then you got up, sir, I
- 27:10Speaker 1: I understand. Is there a possibility that maybe you play
- 27:13Speaker 1: giarized and didn't know that you did that? You mean
- 27:16Speaker 1: the paper was officer heading new Sir? Can I can?
- 27:19Speaker 1: I can? I tell you one more thing and then
- 27:21Speaker 1: and then all that you're not ready to call me something.
- 27:24Speaker 1: I can't graduate with my class as I didn't been
- 27:27Speaker 1: this for five years in my off and you're telling
- 27:30Speaker 1: me I can't graduate until August. You ain't got to
- 27:33Speaker 1: tell me. I do have one more thing I need
- 27:36Speaker 1: to tell you, and then I'll let you be on
- 27:37Speaker 1: your way. Okay, man, go ahead? Can I tell you
- 27:41Speaker 1: what I want to tell you? Do? Go ahead? I'm
- 27:42Speaker 1: telling you this. It was nephew Timmy from the Steve
- 27:45Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You just got prank phone called by
- 27:49Speaker 1: your best free and Brian. What hello, man? Do with
- 28:03Speaker 1: somebody playing junk like that? Dude? Maybe you know how
- 28:07Speaker 1: hard I five years year, man, you are the first
- 28:14Speaker 1: black male in your family to graduate from college. You're
- 28:18Speaker 1: doing a big boy man. I know, man, it's been
- 28:21Speaker 1: a journey. Bro. I can tell you I got one
- 28:24Speaker 1: opens baby. What he is? What is the baddest and
- 28:27Speaker 1: I mean the badest radio show in the land. Man,
- 28:30Speaker 1: it's that Steve Harvey Morning Entertainment News or Kelly thinks
- 28:36Speaker 1: he's being misunderstood after recently being caught on camera saying
- 28:41Speaker 1: that it's too late to hashtag mute Kelly, mute r
- 28:45Speaker 1: Kelly and they should have done this crap thirty years ago.
- 28:49Speaker 1: If you hear that and think that Kell's is saying
- 28:51Speaker 1: that his accusers waited too long to speak up or
- 28:54Speaker 1: speak out, he says, you've got the wrong idea. Now.
- 28:57Speaker 1: This is according to TMZ. Apparently all he meant was
- 29:01Speaker 1: that streaming services that pulled him from playlists were too late.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Presumably because he has already made his name and sold
- 29:09Speaker 1: millions of records, Kells wants people to know that the
- 29:12Speaker 1: impact of his music has been felt around the world
- 29:15Speaker 1: and that can't be undone. So there you go. Well,
- 29:20Speaker 1: that's a true statement that he made his impact with
- 29:23Speaker 1: music has been felt around the world. I just I
- 29:26Speaker 1: hope that he understands the magnitude of what people are
- 29:30Speaker 1: saying about all the accusations, and you know he does too.
- 29:36Speaker 1: He has a chance in his life to write all
- 29:38Speaker 1: of this. Everybody you know, should be given the opportunity
- 29:41Speaker 1: to be forgiven. But in order to be forgiven, you
- 29:44Speaker 1: gotta ask for forgiven me. You gotta show some form
- 29:46Speaker 1: of remorse. You know, the average person is not gonna
- 29:49Speaker 1: forgive you if you have no remorse, I mean, if
- 29:52Speaker 1: you don't ever say I'm sorry, what you want me
- 29:54Speaker 1: to do? Well, it sounds like he's in denial, so
- 29:56Speaker 1: that and that sounds like if he's in denial and
- 29:59Speaker 1: denying that he ever did it, why would he have right?
- 30:04Speaker 1: So why would he have remorse because you know he's
- 30:08Speaker 1: done nothing. Yes, conduct allegations. He's denied the sex cult.
- 30:12Speaker 1: He has denied these accusations. He ain't denied the video.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I got the right he did not have to take that.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I think that's what started it all. Yeah, you're hearing
- 30:21Speaker 1: about how VCR I was tried for that already now.
- 30:31Speaker 1: But I'm just saying, do you want to see the movie?
- 30:34Speaker 1: I hate? No, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay,
- 30:40Speaker 1: Steve J is here your friend the one you hire,
- 30:44Speaker 1: the one your your road dog back in the day.

- 34:29Speaker 1: your house. You can't bring that over here. I can't. Wow, guys,
- 34:38Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. That's that's what I knew. I
- 34:39Speaker 1: wasn't doing a good job. Give me and said, tell

- 36:08Speaker 1: this moment too. You're gonna tell what up? What you
- 36:14Speaker 1: gonna tell? So that's till I'm told you're talking. You
- 36:23Speaker 1: did your thing? Uh phrases that let you know you
- 36:29Speaker 1: didn't do a good job in the bedroom. You you
- 36:35Speaker 1: you must have took around peel. That can't be the
- 36:41Speaker 1: one you was trying to take. That can't. Oh I
- 36:46Speaker 1: don't want to be you guys, Steve, this is a
- 36:51Speaker 1: text that you get on your way home. After you
- 36:55Speaker 1: get home, you thank you to did something. You got
- 36:59Speaker 1: that little mold you with the sad face on it,
- 37:03Speaker 1: with the upside down from dot dot dot. You didn't
- 37:08Speaker 1: do a damn thing, you said you you're listening to show,
- 37:18Speaker 1: all right, So we're back. So you're at the doctor's
- 37:20Speaker 1: office and he gave you and the nice guy really knowledgeable.
- 37:25Speaker 1: You know, I'm gonna go back and see. So I
- 37:27Speaker 1: have a bit of flagelitus. And it comes from there's
- 37:32Speaker 1: a band from the ball of your foot back to
- 37:35Speaker 1: your heel and if it stretches too far doing it,
- 37:39Speaker 1: he asked me, was I working out? And I said, yeah,
- 37:41Speaker 1: if you stretch it too far, it like snaps, snaps
- 37:44Speaker 1: the rubber band and so it's like pulled apart. And
- 37:48Speaker 1: he says, the only way to fix it is you
- 37:50Speaker 1: gotta ice it. I want you to start wearing like
- 37:52Speaker 1: support shoes like New Balance or a C s are
- 37:58Speaker 1: stuff I ain't got, you know, And so I'm doing that.
- 38:02Speaker 1: I war. I had on some Jordan's flops and I
- 38:13Speaker 1: told him they actually make my He said, no, you
- 38:15Speaker 1: need more support than that. I said, but feel absolutely
- 38:18Speaker 1: great when I walk in. So I said, I got
- 38:20Speaker 1: him on right now, right, And so he said all
- 38:24Speaker 1: you can, you know, expertite it and get a quicker fiction.
- 38:28Speaker 1: You can take cortizona shot. This needle is so long,
- 38:32Speaker 1: and they put it in your heel and then the
- 38:35Speaker 1: cortizon is in the needles. So he says, now it's
- 38:38Speaker 1: gonna feel like a beasting. That doctor tells you a beasting,
- 38:42Speaker 1: you know, beating. So he pushes this needle in my heel,
- 38:46Speaker 1: and oh my god, I went, oh man, and he says,
- 38:51Speaker 1: hanging out. He said, yeah, but I can't. So he says,
- 38:58Speaker 1: he says, now this because I can handle that with
- 39:01Speaker 1: the bestead. He said, Now this is the part where
- 39:04Speaker 1: it gets a little bit excruciated. I'm gonna inject the
- 39:07Speaker 1: cortizone into the heel and it's gonna take about sixty seconds.
- 39:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to put it in there about four
- 39:14Speaker 1: different times, and it's going to be a little, a
- 39:17Speaker 1: little very painful, just hanging in And man, when the
- 39:21Speaker 1: doctor tells you that, yeah, and I saw him push
- 39:25Speaker 1: down on that meedle, and man, that dog on cortizone
- 39:28Speaker 1: went in there, and lord ha mercy, it was like fire.
- 39:32Speaker 1: It was like fire going into your heel. And then
- 39:35Speaker 1: he stops injecting it and it calms down a little bit.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Then he goes, Okay, we gotta do another one, and
- 39:40Speaker 1: I'm going hold. So he shoots another burst of fire
- 39:44Speaker 1: into my heel. He did this four times. He said,
- 39:47Speaker 1: this is the last one. And man, my palms of
- 39:51Speaker 1: my hands was dripping wet. My undoms were wet and beads.
- 39:56Speaker 1: A sweat was just on top of my ball head.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Because when I get hot star squint, I was in
- 40:04Speaker 1: there having trouble when I got my foot out of
- 40:06Speaker 1: his hand. Now he had my foot in the first
- 40:07Speaker 1: time he shot it in. Now we almost lost the
- 40:10Speaker 1: doctor because my damn yeah yeah, And man's let me
- 40:19Speaker 1: tell you something. I kid you not, in all of
- 40:21Speaker 1: my life, I've never had a shot like that in
- 40:24Speaker 1: my life. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay,
- 40:29Speaker 1: time now, jay uh for this segment. It's called comedy Roulette.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Explain it quickly and let's get through it very simple.
- 40:36Speaker 1: It's three of us with comedians, were highly decorated to
- 40:40Speaker 1: take five subject. Put him on the wheel, wedge. Stop,
- 40:43Speaker 1: We'll do the damn thing. That's how good we are.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Do it. Do it now? All right, let's go comedy.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Here we go with the subject. Number one, people who
- 40:52Speaker 1: have that stuff you know, in the corner of their eye. Okay.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Number two, babies that don't look like their dad. Who's
- 41:05Speaker 1: the father baby show? We are dark in here? Number
- 41:10Speaker 1: three fat guys that won't button that middle button? Won
- 41:17Speaker 1: button button? Yeah? Okay? Number four, what's that thing on
- 41:21Speaker 1: your lip right here? What what is that? What is that?
- 41:25Speaker 1: Number five? Just not not all right? Come on, spend
- 41:32Speaker 1: the wheel for his place. There you go in your corner,
- 41:46Speaker 1: stop doing I think you wanted this one, Carla. Number
- 41:49Speaker 1: three fat guys that won't button back middle button? What
- 41:53Speaker 1: is the deal with that? Let's go highly decorated comedians
- 41:57Speaker 1: on this show. What is the deal with it? It
- 41:59Speaker 1: looked like looking at you in the middle of that ship.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Don't you feel that breathe on your good don't? They
- 42:09Speaker 1: don't do it. They don't button it. They don't. But
- 42:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, people who don't button that middle button,
- 42:17Speaker 1: I've seen it something time. But the deacon who handles
- 42:20Speaker 1: devotion on Sunday morning standing in front of everybody asking
- 42:25Speaker 1: us he's time to start and come to the Lord.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Come to a conclusion about this button. You can't focus
- 42:31Speaker 1: on that. I can't see the words to the hymn. Y'all,
- 42:36Speaker 1: y'all don't understand what if y'all are looking at it
- 42:39Speaker 1: the wrong way. That is not a button. That is
- 42:43Speaker 1: a pressure vent. You have got to get a release
- 42:50Speaker 1: of some of this that he can't breathe. He kept
- 42:55Speaker 1: that if that you close that button, he's gonna get
- 42:58Speaker 1: a short, short breath. They don't do it. That's a
- 43:03Speaker 1: pressure faith. You might be right to you because even
- 43:07Speaker 1: when they button it, you can see the button. It
- 43:10Speaker 1: is almost if the button has a face and it's
- 43:13Speaker 1: holding two pets of cloth to yet and it's saying,
- 43:16Speaker 1: please help me help. I'm doing the back can. The
- 43:23Speaker 1: hole is good. I know another person that I've seen
- 43:27Speaker 1: with this this button unbuttoned, but the lead singer at
- 43:31Speaker 1: every hole in the wall. But I'm sitting that they
- 43:35Speaker 1: singing all their hits, but they'd be moving and so
- 43:40Speaker 1: the the open part be shifted. I didn't see it.
- 43:43Speaker 1: I just seen chips ain't stopping us now, and that
- 43:50Speaker 1: that button is saying the same thing. But you didn't
- 43:53Speaker 1: seen everything up other that shirt. See it once again,
- 43:58Speaker 1: you all keep looking at it as a button. That
- 44:02Speaker 1: button is actually a hidden weapon. See if he gets
- 44:09Speaker 1: tired and you're talking or tired and you're looking at
- 44:12Speaker 1: him or saying something he don't agree with, he can
- 44:15Speaker 1: button it and he and put your eye out with it. Dad,
- 44:21Speaker 1: Ain't it's not so bad that it is open. It's
- 44:32Speaker 1: really sad when the shirt starts to come up just
- 44:35Speaker 1: a little bit and you see full good like straight across,
- 44:40Speaker 1: just straight, straight, straight, good, all the way, all the
- 44:45Speaker 1: way across. Once again, y'all keeping it roll away. That
- 44:51Speaker 1: ain't a button, and gentlemen, for fat people, that's actually
- 44:58Speaker 1: event keep cool, keep pulled out so you know, over
- 45:06Speaker 1: heat and exploded. Can't button it all right? Coming up
- 45:13Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right after, right about
- 45:15Speaker 1: four minutes after today's Strawberry Letter. But up next, Nephew
- 45:18Speaker 1: Tommy with today's prank phone call. You're listening to the
- 45:22Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of

- 45:52Speaker 1: you with the over the church you would to make
- 45:55Speaker 1: a wish ministry? Yes, I am, I'm gonna help you. Well, listen,
- 45:58Speaker 1: I'm really uh, I'm I'm terminally ill. Brothers, brother Terence
- 46:05Speaker 1: and uh. I don't you know as far as what
- 46:09Speaker 1: the doctors tell me, it could be six months, another year,
- 46:14Speaker 1: but I know my time here is definitely limited. You know. Well,
- 46:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry to hear that, but we're definitely here to
- 46:22Speaker 1: help you out with whatever you need or whatever we
- 46:25Speaker 1: can help you with. So what can we do for you? Well?
- 46:28Speaker 1: You know, I I truly believe that sometimes people have
- 46:32Speaker 1: you know, I've seen one of the more movies they
- 46:34Speaker 1: got with it got a bucket list or whatever he
- 46:36Speaker 1: called it. You know, people trying to do things before
- 46:39Speaker 1: they leave here. I guess I'm just sitting around trying
- 46:42Speaker 1: to figure out what I could do and what I
- 46:43Speaker 1: wanted to do before I left this world and went
- 46:47Speaker 1: on to what he has for me. Nixt. You know,
- 46:50Speaker 1: I don't believe in doing anything unless it's preyed on first.
- 46:56Speaker 1: If you don't mind, maybe you can. Uh, you know,
- 46:59Speaker 1: before I can tell you my wish, we we prayed
- 47:01Speaker 1: that the wish would come true. You you you're not
- 47:04Speaker 1: doing anything like that. Oh no, I don't mind praying.
- 47:06Speaker 1: That's what we're here. FI bow your head with him, Yes, yes, yes, sir,
- 47:12Speaker 1: is your head, by your sir, your sir, here the
- 47:15Speaker 1: God We come to you in the umeless way. We
- 47:18Speaker 1: know how Lord, we asked you to touch this young
- 47:21Speaker 1: man and every which way we heard, and then we
- 47:24Speaker 1: asked you to deliver him for whatever is going on
- 47:28Speaker 1: with him, and let him know that we the church
- 47:30Speaker 1: is here to help him with whatever his needs is
- 47:33Speaker 1: in his last days. And Jesus Name, I prayed, say
- 47:37Speaker 1: amen with it's gonna do it here. Now you remember
- 47:43Speaker 1: the church here of Newton, Well, I was a member.
- 47:48Speaker 1: I still consider myself. Remember it's just been quite sometimes
- 47:51Speaker 1: probably over year and I after two years as I've
- 47:53Speaker 1: been able to come, you know, through to my my illness.
- 47:57Speaker 1: But definitely I will remember that. Well, that's all right.
- 48:01Speaker 1: We're not worried about all that. We're just here to
- 48:04Speaker 1: take care of your last and final wish. That's what
- 48:07Speaker 1: our minister is for. You know, we helped people with
- 48:10Speaker 1: with with anything they need, you know, like what what
- 48:14Speaker 1: what all I mean when when people call them want thing?
- 48:16Speaker 1: What all of you you all what all of y'all
- 48:19Speaker 1: helped them with? Well, we've helped them with their rent um,
- 48:24Speaker 1: take them to the store, help them with a utility bill,
- 48:28Speaker 1: come out and cut the grass, anything like that they
- 48:31Speaker 1: just can't do. Take them to the doctor's appointment. Anything
- 48:35Speaker 1: we'd like to help them with, we do exactly. Then Okay,
- 48:38Speaker 1: well I I pretty much got those things taken care of.
- 48:42Speaker 1: I think what I'd like to do between you and
- 48:46Speaker 1: and and myself brother day. And I've never told anyone
- 48:50Speaker 1: what I'm about to tell you. I've never been with
- 48:53Speaker 1: a with with a woman before. Huh. I'm you know,
- 48:58Speaker 1: I'm thirty eight, but I'm of a ben with a woman. Well,
- 49:03Speaker 1: I guess that might be a blessing. You might you
- 49:05Speaker 1: might be there. That's a good thing. Well, you know,
- 49:08Speaker 1: but sometimes you know, I give before I leave. I
- 49:11Speaker 1: guess that's a desire that I have. And and and uh,
- 49:15Speaker 1: what I wanted to ask you was there is a
- 49:18Speaker 1: lady there at the church, and before I leave, I
- 49:23Speaker 1: think that's the woman that I would actually like to
- 49:26Speaker 1: to be with. I don't know if make a wish
- 49:30Speaker 1: ministry can support that kind of stuff, but go ahead,
- 49:33Speaker 1: let me hear. Okay that the lady that i'm I'm
- 49:36Speaker 1: actually interested in actually, uh, she works at the church too.
- 49:42Speaker 1: When I see she's don tall what she's about five
- 49:45Speaker 1: nine and she's probably about a size eight, beautiful long
- 49:51Speaker 1: leagues man and and and and sandy type of hair,
- 49:55Speaker 1: sandy color, sandy brown man. And I mean she looked
- 49:58Speaker 1: like Calman. Hold on a minute, what's her name? I
- 50:04Speaker 1: think her name is Linda? Now, hold on, that's my wife?
- 50:08Speaker 1: What you mean? Go ahead and see wait wait wait wait,
- 50:11Speaker 1: wait wait wait sending your wife? Yeah, that's my wife?
- 50:14Speaker 1: You sorrs? What do you mean? Listen, y'all are ministry
- 50:19Speaker 1: now now, if y'all supposed to be taking care of people,
- 50:22Speaker 1: don't make a wish and and taking care of what
- 50:24Speaker 1: they want before they leave this world. If that's my wish,
- 50:27Speaker 1: what is the problem listening here? You didn't cross every
- 50:30Speaker 1: line there was about this man, so I don't give
- 50:32Speaker 1: a damn about it. I'm you're talking about sleeping with
- 50:35Speaker 1: my like if I see you're gonna do something to you.
- 50:38Speaker 1: They ain't gonna even be able to recognize you. So
- 50:40Speaker 1: what you talking about missing with my wife? Son of
- 50:43Speaker 1: a call Miss Linda myself and see if you have
- 50:46Speaker 1: a problem with helping me make my wish come true
- 50:50Speaker 1: and calling you won't call nobody else. That would be
- 50:53Speaker 1: the last call you make. I thought y'all were here
- 50:57Speaker 1: to relieve people so they and enjoy themselves before they
- 51:01Speaker 1: leave this world. You talk about sleeping with my wife?
- 51:05Speaker 1: Are you crazy? But but if I'm going to leave here,
- 51:07Speaker 1: ain't nobody gonna know? But you want hut. I don't
- 51:10Speaker 1: care if you die. I don't care. You ain't sleeping
- 51:13Speaker 1: with my wife and your food with her. You probably
- 51:16Speaker 1: gonna go ahead and die quicker than you need to.
- 51:18Speaker 1: I thought this was a ministry. I don't tell you.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Now you're over, they're telling me about dying. You're not
- 51:24Speaker 1: supposed to be a ministry that it helps people before
- 51:26Speaker 1: they live. Word what it is. But you talk about
- 51:29Speaker 1: sleeping with my wife. You got an illness, But something
- 51:31Speaker 1: must be wrong with your ain't talking about messing with
- 51:34Speaker 1: man wife. Ain't nobody even know I've been with your wife?
- 51:36Speaker 1: Wants something gonna there? Ain't gonna be But the tour. Y'all.
- 51:39Speaker 1: At least you would have helped me before I left. No,
- 51:41Speaker 1: I can't help you with nothing. And let me tell
- 51:43Speaker 1: you something. I'm not the preacher, I'm not the past
- 51:46Speaker 1: I'm not the deacon, I'm not none of them. But
- 51:49Speaker 1: if you mentioned my wife, you're gonna know who I am.
- 51:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna be the undertake or do you understand? I
- 51:54Speaker 1: here what you say. But I got one more thing
- 51:56Speaker 1: I need to tell you about who I am? Who
- 51:58Speaker 1: asked you? Isn't it to go ahead? Let me? This
- 52:01Speaker 1: is you t me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 52:06Speaker 1: your wife, y'all, the phrase y'all tell you roll. I
- 52:16Speaker 1: don't even recording this is it's recording every letter. Lord
- 52:22Speaker 1: Hammlers ain't gonna here. This is Oh god, I got
- 52:29Speaker 1: one more thing. What is the baddest and I mean
- 52:33Speaker 1: the radio show in the land, Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Anybody want to make a wish? Yeah, I wish you
- 52:42Speaker 1: didn't do that, Frank, I wish you was playing somewhere.
- 52:46Speaker 1: I want to make one. I wish you would have
- 52:48Speaker 1: a long life, but I don't think that's gonna happen
- 52:51Speaker 1: in broad daylight. Wish you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 53:02Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right now is his time for today's Strawberry Letter.
- 53:06Speaker 1: If you want our advice, all you have to do
- 53:08Speaker 1: is submit your Strawberry letter to Steve Harvey FM dot com. Alright, nephew,
- 53:13Speaker 1: let's go just like this one. Buggle up, hold on tight,
- 53:16Speaker 1: We got it for you. It is the Strawberry Letter. Alright. Subject.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Me and my man have a little situation. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 53:25Speaker 1: I met a gentleman seven months ago. I'm forty five
- 53:29Speaker 1: and he's thirty seven. When we met, he lived three
- 53:32Speaker 1: hours away, so he decided to move to my area.
- 53:36Speaker 1: It's been four months now since since we've been in
- 53:39Speaker 1: the same city, and I'm starting to see issues with him.
- 53:42Speaker 1: He didn't have a plan in place when he moved
- 53:45Speaker 1: to my city, and now he's living in a shelter
- 53:48Speaker 1: because I told him he cannot live with me. He
- 53:51Speaker 1: doesn't have a car and I refused to drive him around.
- 53:55Speaker 1: He does have a job. In fact, he's had three
- 53:58Speaker 1: different jobs since he's been here. He has been fired
- 54:01Speaker 1: from each job because he has an issue with the
- 54:04Speaker 1: way people talk to him. See, he has issues with
- 54:09Speaker 1: being short. He is only five three. I'm out. I'm
- 54:17Speaker 1: I'm going to take a break, but I'm not going
- 54:19Speaker 1: to do this. Let me just say thank you. I
- 54:24Speaker 1: told you you're gonna love it, and I asked you
- 54:27Speaker 1: enough you to stick around. I'm going to the break room.
- 54:31Speaker 1: We're a team, all right. He has issues with being short.
- 54:36Speaker 1: He's only five three. I am five too, so his
- 54:40Speaker 1: height doesn't bother me, but it bothers him. He has
- 54:45Speaker 1: short patience with people. I believe he's been abused by
- 54:48Speaker 1: a woman before because he always thinks I'm talking down
- 54:51Speaker 1: to him and belittling him. I jokingly push these issues
- 54:56Speaker 1: to the side, but it's getting old. I'm getting to
- 54:59Speaker 1: the point where want to end this relationship. Can I
- 55:02Speaker 1: help him overcome this or should I just let him
- 55:05Speaker 1: work through his own problems alone? Please help turn let
- 55:14Speaker 1: me get that. I tell you're gonna love it, and
- 55:18Speaker 1: and you're welcome, by the way, You're welcome. Listen. You
- 55:21Speaker 1: may not have a problem with his height, but he
- 55:23Speaker 1: certainly does, and you gotta let him work it out
- 55:27Speaker 1: on his own. There are things that you can help
- 55:29Speaker 1: help him do. I don't know. Maybe take him to
- 55:32Speaker 1: therapy so he can deal with it that way. Uh,
- 55:34Speaker 1: but there's nothing you can do about his problem with
- 55:37Speaker 1: his height. You cannot change people. You cannot change him. Uh.
- 55:42Speaker 1: You've only known him for seven months, and it made
- 55:45Speaker 1: me think, did you see him before you guys you know,
- 55:48Speaker 1: got together. But I guess you did because you would
- 55:50Speaker 1: have said that if you didn't. But now he's moved.
- 55:53Speaker 1: You guys didn't talk about what was going to happen,
- 55:55Speaker 1: where he was going to live, whether or not he
- 55:57Speaker 1: had a car. You guys didn't discuss any of that
- 56:00Speaker 1: before he moved to the same city. How can he's
- 56:04Speaker 1: had three jobs since he's been there. He's only been
- 56:07Speaker 1: there what four months? He has an issue with the
- 56:09Speaker 1: way people talk to him. This is crazy. These are
- 56:13Speaker 1: things that he has to deal with on his own,
- 56:15Speaker 1: and he's probably been dealing with for the majority of
- 56:18Speaker 1: his adult life. Uh, you don't care because he's still
- 56:21Speaker 1: taller than you at five too. So I don't know, Um,
- 56:26Speaker 1: if you're gonna be able to help him overcome this,
- 56:29Speaker 1: because he's got to do it first. The only thing
- 56:32Speaker 1: you can do is to be there to support him. Yeah,
- 56:35Speaker 1: he's gonna have to work through these problems alone. UM.
- 56:38Speaker 1: I don't know if this relationship is going to last
- 56:41Speaker 1: because he can't keep a job. He lives in a shelter.
- 56:44Speaker 1: I mean, you know, and you want him to do better.
- 56:47Speaker 1: I'm sure, but he can't because of he has a
- 56:50Speaker 1: problem with being little. You know, he needs counseling. I
- 56:53Speaker 1: think Steve, now I got good advice. This is not
- 57:04Speaker 1: the time to be funny and be rude and stuff.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Okayhead believes, don't started out Steve as dear Tommy, don't.
- 57:11Speaker 1: I'm the one get stupid about Steven shild Now this
- 57:18Speaker 1: lady met this man seven. Need to let me down,
- 57:21Speaker 1: let me go, don't let me down. I promise you.
- 57:24Speaker 1: I low. I'm farted five years old. He started seven
- 57:30Speaker 1: down right now he shot he down eight he already
- 57:40Speaker 1: he now he's eight years shot he already and equated
- 57:44Speaker 1: this the interest. You can believe that you farted five
- 57:49Speaker 1: thirty seven. When we met, he lived three hours away,
- 57:54Speaker 1: so he decided to move to my area. It's been
- 57:57Speaker 1: foemost now since we've been in the same city. Here's
- 58:00Speaker 1: a line in this letter that really amazes me. I'm
- 58:03Speaker 1: starting to see issues with him, really, So here we go.
- 58:11Speaker 1: He didn't have a plan in place when he moved
- 58:13Speaker 1: to my city. He now living in a shelter. Your
- 58:17Speaker 1: man that you daton, the one that moved to your city,
- 58:23Speaker 1: is now living in the shelter. So when you go by,
- 58:29Speaker 1: pop in to see him. How's that working for you?
- 58:34Speaker 1: Where you sit at the shelter. Little man ain't got
- 58:43Speaker 1: no home. Oh you can get in my house. Listen
- 58:48Speaker 1: to me. Tiny houses they got this boy could have
- 58:57Speaker 1: had a place a boy. Now Tiny House Nation is
- 59:03Speaker 1: on TV. Well at part two of Steve's response, coming
- 59:07Speaker 1: up at twenty three after the hour you're listening Steve
- 59:11Speaker 1: Hardy Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on Part two response.
- 59:16Speaker 1: Now I left y'all with this woman dating this shout man. Yeah,
- 59:19Speaker 1: me and my man have a little situation. Yea. Now
- 59:22Speaker 1: she fied, he fired three, she fired two, So that
- 59:26Speaker 1: don't bother her. It's an eight year difference in him
- 59:30Speaker 1: because she farty five, he thirty seven. Now he had
- 59:34Speaker 1: the mood into town, but he ain't got no plan.
- 59:37Speaker 1: She won't let him live with him, so he lived
- 59:38Speaker 1: in the shelter. I was just one thing. How it
- 59:42Speaker 1: is for her when she stopped by, How are you
- 59:45Speaker 1: gonna see your man at a shelter where you sick,
- 59:48Speaker 1: put you into the bed. He's heres. But one thing
- 59:51Speaker 1: I know from being a homeless you can't sit on
- 59:53Speaker 1: another homeless person stuff. You bet not. That's rude number one.
- 59:59Speaker 1: That's all ain't got. You don't touch my grocery car.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: You don't put your hand on my duct tape. You
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: don't get away from this blanket. He doesn't have a job,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: he doesn't have a car, and I refused to drive
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: him around, so now he just try and walk around
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: him in the last league, Well he does have a job. Well,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: excuse me, he got a job, but he ain't got
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: no car. You refused. He got to try everywhere. In fact,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Tina had three different jobs since he's been here. He'd
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: been fried from each job because he has an issue
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: with the way people talk to him. And old Lord,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: how many times have we run into this? How you
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: wrote the right show because we are dealing with this ourselves,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: and I want to thank you for the opportunity to
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: give us to vent some of the things that we've
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: been going through. Because we got somebody on this show
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: that has an issue with the way people talk to him.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: He stayed touching, he edgy all the damn time. Some
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: always wrong. He always offended. See, he has an issue
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: with being short. J wouldn't you have an issue with
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: being short of you? Five for three now, she says,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: So his height doesn't bother me, but it bothers him.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: He has short patience with Pete. What you want him
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: to have long patience, he don't. He don't like nobody
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: because he edgy. He always assumed it's about his height.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: He produced the thought that we had to produce on
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: this show. If you throw a rock in a pack
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: of dogs, wonder Holly's the one hit. Every time we
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: mentioned height on this show, we got one person jump
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: to conclusion that we're talking about him even when we're not,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Like right now, I can bet you he think we
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: talked about his ask right now now, she says, I
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: believe that he's been abused by a woman before because
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: he always think I'm talking down to him. That's because
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: the women he dated was taller. They was talking down
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: to him. It happens to Tom, excuse me, it happens
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: to this person we refer to all the time. Yeah,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: I'm trying kind of slipped out now. I believe he's
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: been abused by a woman because they always think I'm
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: talking down to him. I jokingly pushed these issues to
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: the side. But he's getting older. I'm getting to the
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: port where I want to end this relationship. Can I
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: help him overcome this? I want to answer that for
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: you're just a second? Or should I just let him
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: work through his own problems alone? Can I help him
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: overcome this? No? You cannot, No, you cannot. This person
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: can be fifty. You ain't gonna be able to help them,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: because that's a big number, thirty seven. I'd have seen
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: this go all the way up to at least fIF fifty.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: For damn sure we ain't been able to help him yet?
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Or should you let him work through his own problems alone?
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: He can't. He has no answers for this because he
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: touches all God damn, it's always about him. Little people
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: got big issues, little man. Short patients, they got shot legs,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: they got short arms. They send up everything about him,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: a shot one thing by short people. They get a
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: job though, I don't care what nobody's say. They always working.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: I'm surprised why he had a shot shorter at five three.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: He could easily sign up for Foster Kill. He could
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: be in somebody's how he get the Yeah, he can
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: get in the house because he shot. And once again,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: why is he out of work and it ain't got
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: no where to stay? Why is he in the shelter? Listen?
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: I was watching tiny houses the other day, Tiny house Nation.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: This be like a mansion for him a matter of fact.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: You take this little lass house and you rename it.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: You can call it like a chateau or something. Give
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: it a big name, and it'd be just for little people. Wow.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: See that's how you do it. You take a little
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: house and give it a big name. See, you ain't
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: got a call a tiny house calling the shateau. All
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: of pop out, lift up a lead that was a
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: cupboard for clothes and stuff. It's a bath tub, you understand.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: You climb up stairs for storage and a little loft.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: You move that stuff out the way. It's a bunk
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: bab man. The stove and the toilet is the same thing.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: What you fixed the food on the toilet. Then you
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: move all the stuff out the way and lift the
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: lid up and you put the food that you just
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: eat down in the toilet. I can't go with you
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: on that one. No, this is for tiny houses. Surely
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: you ain't got to because you have a home. But
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: the people right here shop people like they can do
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: stuff like that. I've seen it done. Excuse me. You
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: are right, I'm fine. I'm a man. I'm gonna be
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: all right now. You all right, You ain't fine. Yeah,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: you're a man. But it's two things you ain't. You
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: ain't fine, and you're not tall, and you damn near
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: this letter. We have seen see some of the things
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: that we're dealing with. All right, Steve, we gotta get
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: out of here. You can email us or Instagram. That's
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: your thoughts on today's Strawberry letter at my girls, Shirley,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: please don't forget to join me this Thursday at one
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: pm Eastern Live after showing Facebook Live. You're listening to
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we go
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: with something funny. So Steve, now what is this? Women
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: always beat men at arguments. We know this, but they
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: do because they do things that men don't do and
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: are incapable of doing. Here's some reason that you'll never
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: win an argument. How about the first one you need
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: to understand? And above all else, they don't forget what nothing,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: They don't forget a dog gone, you let it go,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: she said, I'll forgive you, but she banked all that information.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Women have the biggest hard drive in their brain. Creative
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: ibm ain't got nothing on a woman's hard drive. Baby
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: with sports. Yeah, you can't erase their hard drive. It's
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: locked in forever. Remember your nineteen eight that when I
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: got that note, it was kind of member that your member.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Here was another You know what we do? We delete information? Right? Yeah,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: you deleted the get it off our phone computer? Everything?
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: They don't. They don't delete. Why don't we do that?
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: That's stupid. It's called evidence. Baby, I'll tell you another
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: thing they got. They got a picture or ever that
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: even if it ain't a photograph, it's a mental image
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: they got you. You know, women come out and don't
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: say here's another one. And don't say you didn't say something.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: You're right, you didn't say it, but your text and
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: guess what, you're dumb ass? Forgot here? It is right here,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: I got it. I saved. Here's another reason women always win,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: because women don't care if you answer or pick up
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: their phone. You don't. They don't. You know, they don't.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: You know why, because all you're gonna find it's pictures
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: of shoes, recipes, baby pictures and hairstyles. You're right with me?
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: E no ever did no look at it? Look three
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: seven six five big coat. Here's all the reason you
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: can't win an argument because they can see who you
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: calling on your phone from a mile away. I don't
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: give them what kind of protective screen you got on there?
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: The black one that you can't see from the side.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: She can see, so who is she scary? Here's another
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: reason you can't remember. You can't winning argument? Why because
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: they remember exactly dates, yes, exact dates, with the details,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: with your head, what you was eating, what car you
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: was in, where you were sitting. I can't win. Breathe
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: it out up. Another reason you can't win an argument
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: with a woman. You're ready without even setting it up.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: They laughed for each of you. They don't have to
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: do none of that color. Where was I yesterday at
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: my house? Immediately you have to we're watching the Atlanta Housewise,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: I gotta call Jake, I was with you, and I
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: gotta say something. And here's the other reason you can't
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: win and argument because they have one put down that
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: no man has ever been able to top. Here's to
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: put down their youth. Stop acting like some little old
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: girl out They don't use girl. She just called me.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: After that, you're shaken to the core. You can't come
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: back come like right now. You just stuck on that.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Stopped acting like some little old girl. But they don't
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: say girls. But they don't say girl. Now you open here.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: All you hear is that we went again that argument.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: You ain't got no more points. Actually you was winning
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: the argument. We know how to shut it down. Man. Yeah,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: why because there's no comeback. You got no comeback. But
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: let me tell you something, ladies, Yes, you should never
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: say that to your man. I would never say that.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: I've never been because because words cut really deep. And
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: once you cut a man so deep, how do you
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: fix that? And I know women who have used that
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: on their man a lot. And I'm telling you it's
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: hard to come back for that, because men I come
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: back for that is well, okay, I'll tell you what
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: I know. Somebody don't think I'm a little girl. Yeah,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: because what that that's that's the ultimate insult for man.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: You're just a little old girl. Man. You can't come
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: back from that. And when you do that to a man,
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: you damage what you say, Tom out, it's a good man, right,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: that's how your woman really feel about. What's bad is
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: when you see a guy get done in public, like
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: when you see his lady do that to him, Like
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: that hurts me. Women. Women, women don't like. Yeah, women
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: don't like to see a woman belittling her man in public.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: We don't you, I've seen it. Yeah, you a a
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: little all right, Hello, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. Okay,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: here we go. A new report guys is revealing that
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: the jobs with the most and least danger Okay, Like,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: when you go to the office and sit behind a
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: desk all day, you likely aren't risking an injury except
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: for carpal tunnel or maybe a paper cut. Okay, But
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: there are some people who go to work every morning
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: facing things that could be very dangerous and could cause
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: them injury. Al Right. Career Cast released a list of
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: the most dangerous jobs out there, and while some aren't
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: too shocking, you may be surprised. As you can imagine,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: a police offers are pretty dangerous. Okay. They put their yeah,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: their life on the line every day. Firefighter, right, emergency
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: medical technician, of course, they all made the list, and
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: some of the safest jobs are accountant, paralegal, and dietitian.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: So I have to ask you guys this, what are
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: some of the jobs that you would never do? Okay,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: jobs that you could never Yeah, that's easy for me. Okay,
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: go ahead, state check. I couldn't do it. Yeah right,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: I can do it. I can show you how to do,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: but you're gonna do yourself do it. I just won't
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: need a blow. I'm not going to use the glow.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: We're not gonna use my hand. That's what I'm trying.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: A stick, Yeah, bring whatever stick you're comfortable, you can
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: do that. You can't do it, but that's what I'm
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: gonna all right, that's out to the people who do that. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: a lot of people would die. Doctors, yeah, yeah, especially
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: for you. Were just saying we don't want to do it.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: You know, the one I can't do what the man
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: at the funeral, the duty emboming man. Yeah, I'm you're
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: thinking at the funeral and funeral people are so calm
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: and nice. Yeah. Yeah, were talking to him. Yeah, you
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: don't you push him down? Right? Yeah. Our funeral director
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: kept asking us, have you reached your serenity. Yet, it
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: won't be long before you'll be coming to visit. And
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: don't send me birthday. I hate that. Don't be send
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: me birthday when the family reaches their serenity all the time,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: I was like, okay, thank you, I won't that one
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: when you get it. Yeah, that's the job. I couldn't
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: do that one. Nope, nope, nope, no no, yeah, I'll
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: tell your job. I couldn't do preacher. I could preach
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: because you're not even me with all y'all problem. I'm
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: not sorry, ay'all problems, not everybody's problems. I got two
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: prayers today. You need it the most, talks amongst yourself,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: you work it out. But everybody's not gonna get to
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: talk to the Lord from me today. I'll tell you
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: what I can't do. I can't be a kindergarten teacher.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: A little kid you do, get a little big shot,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: you talk to them, have a good reports, get to
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: leave ye next merging with a query. Oh yeah yeah,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: but Steve, why couldn't you do it? Kids love you,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: your grandkids love you, kid, But I can't teach them
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: because I cussed when I talk. When your your kids
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: exposed to it. Just go and get them away from me.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: My son Jason told me, you know roads and know
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: his dad. He said, Dad, we don't. We don't cuss
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: around the kids. That's okay, But they asked in my house, okay,
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: that's cussing in here. Now your kids out here that
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: each one of your kids got their own electric Bentley
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: in the garage plugged up with our cars. You know
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: what I'm saying. They got swimming pool, they have Halloween parties,
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: they have pitton zoos. Now, somebody done some cussing to
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: make this money. But now when I'm talking at the house,
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: I can't cussom No, son, you need to go ahead.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: I'm with you. Kids need to hear cussing. You're getting
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: ready for the real world. That's what That's what's out
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: there for some preps. Preps. Morgan and her husband are
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: almost vegan. Carly is a vegan, Brandy is a vegan.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: I don't even need their babies not allowed to have candy. Oh,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: now they come in my office to see Pap Paul.
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: I got drawer full of candies. That's how I keep them,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: you know, feeling a certain kind of way about me.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: It's always glad to see me. Yeah, yeah, let's go
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: to I gave boot to some beef jerky and Carly.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: Damn the hair the herder Dad, he don't need that.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: And we'll look at him what he's doing doing. Don't
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: look at he eating it right now? Look at I
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: mean he was just loving that manning about all that.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: I got a I got a job. You don't want
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: the waxer you all that, Holland when the hair come
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: off the I can't be ready for that. It's worse
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: when you get waxed. He's got to be hard on
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: a person doing the wax too. They seemed to enjoy it. Yeah,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: this is for them. They seem to enjoy it. Let holland, wait,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: what is we doing it for? Shave your back? If
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: I got here on my back, I don't know it
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: because I can't see it. Jobs we could never do.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: Oh oh, the back end of an animal costume, you
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: know the last part, the back when you're up under that. Yeah,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: I can't do that. It's one you lovebody, but I
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: mean you had something that guy that has to do it,
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: you know, nothing to hold my head here, and it's
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: for a long time. Party is over and then you
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: don't know what's going on. You can't see who determines
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: who gets the front and the back. Who's ever costume
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: it is? If it's my front, I'm not doing What
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: do you want your third you'll get back? Do you
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: want the third? Five? You know the job you don't
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: want being the quarterback for the Cleveland You're listening to
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve, we have a couple of
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: questions for you. As promised, this segment is called how
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: old were you? Win? How old were you when you
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: had your first kiss? Let's say Gwen did that to me.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: I didn't want it. What do you mean? You were traumatized?
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: She made me do it. She snatched me off my bike.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: She stayed across the street. She was a big girl.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: She pulled me out off the bike and threw me
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: up against the tree and kissed me real hard. And
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: then what No, I just fell violent. I did nothing.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I didn't cry number, it was just traumatized. She was big.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: She was actually on my TV show. I remember I
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: remember her. She was like they found her and they
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: found Gwyen Harris and then she came on TV and
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: talk like you didn't make you you wanted it. I
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: looked at it. Now, I'm going just a damn though
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: I told her that came. Man, I ain't seen Gwyen
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Harris Man. I think last time I saw Gwen Hass
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: I was at a mama's funeral. Man, it might have
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: been nineteen and you had no idea she was going
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: to be on the shod no idea. And my first
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: kiss was on my talk show and it was not
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: a kiss. It was not memorable, very forceful. She was
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: stronger than she was handling my lilaugh, just getting snatched.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: But were you in the in the were you at
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: that age where you liked girls started? I went through
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: the phase where I didn't like girls. I like girls
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: in kindergarten. Yeah, I had the girl on my show.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: But the first girl I ever walked home. I walked
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: her home in the sixth grade and carried her book
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: for to Reach the Shepherd. You remember their name everything.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Michelle Hawkins. Michelle Hawkers was in high school with me
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: when I was walking and playing I want to go
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: outside in the rain in the cafeteria and she wouldn't
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: give me a date. And that song was on, And
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: that's why that song go outside means so much. She
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: was on my show too, and when they all came out,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: I named every last one of Wow. That really threw
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: him off. I'm sure they remembered you excuse me his name? What?
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: What did you just say? Don't try to help him, junior?
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: He just definitely said, you don't never learn. He was
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: voting that. He was voted most difficult in high school.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: That's just one. Yes. Yes. How old were you? How
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: old were you when you heard your first Earth winning
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: fire song? I know that's your favorite? Might have been
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: sixteen sixteen when I heard the first ear winning five songs,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: seventeen when I bought my first Heard Winning five album, Wow,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: And what was the song? The first song I heard
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: was Head to the Sky. That was off the Head
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: to the Sky album. But my favorite song on that
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: album was Masquerade. Can this is what deal? Masquerade? I
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: want to know all we what we really see old
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: the outside and hiding what we really old the inside?
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: What do you think he's finished? Yeah? I just you're
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: something you're really not is a mascarade. I don't figure out.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: I don't give a dad with them doults trying to
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: figure out. I figured it out, all right, y'all want
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: to ask me some more. Dam I'm like, okay, you
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: like that, Okay, we'll be back. You're listening to the
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: Steven Show, all right, So we're back. So you're at
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: the doctor's office and he gave you a pain at
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: the Yeah, and he's nice guy, really knowledgeable. You know,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna go back to see So. I have a
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: bit of flagelitis and it comes from there's a band
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: from the ball of your foot back to your heel
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: and if it stretches too far doing it. He asked me,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: was I working out? And I said, yeah, if you
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: stretch it too far, like snaps, snaps the rubber band
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: and so it's like pulled apart. And he says, the
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: only way to fix it is you gotta ice it.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: I want you to start wearing like support shoes like
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: New Balance or a c S are stuff I ain't got,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: you know. And so I'm don that. I I had
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: on some Jordan's flops and I told him they actually
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: make my flop. He said, no, you need more support
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: than that. I said, but these feel absolutely great when
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: I walk in. So I said, I got him on
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: right now, right, And so he said, all you can
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: you know, expertite it and get a quicker fix. You
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: can take cortizon. Shot. This needles so long, and they
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: put it in your heel and then the cortizon is
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: in the negle. So he says, now it's gonna feel
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: like a be sting. That doctor tells you a be sting,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: you know, beast. So he pushes this needle in my
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: heel and oh my god, I went, oh man, and
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: he says, hanging up. He said, yeah, but I can't.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: So he says, he says, now this because I can
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: handle that with the bestead. He said, now this is
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: the part where it gets a little bit excruciated. I'm
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: gonna inject the cortizone into the heel and it's gonna
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: take about sixty seconds. I'm gonna have to put it
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: in there about four different times, and it's going to
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: be a little, a little very painful just hanging it.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: And man, when the doctor tells you that, yeah, and
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: I saw him push down on that needle, and man,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: that dog on cortizone went in there, and lord ha mercy,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: it was like fire. It was like fire going into
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: your heel. And then he stops injecting it and it
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: calms down a little bit. Then he goes, Okay, we
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: gotta do another one, and I'm going so he shoots
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: another burst of firing to my heel. He did this
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: four times. He said, this is the last one. And man,
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: my palms of my hands was dripping wet. My unarms
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: were wet, and beads of sweat was just on top
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: of my ball head because when I was getting hot,
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: you know, like put I started sweating. I was in
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: there having trouble when I got my foot out of
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: his hand. Now he had my foot in the first
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: time he shot it in there. We almost lost the
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: doctor because I damn kick, I came to kissing. Yeah,
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: I dare damn and man's let me tell you something.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: I kid you not. In all of my life, I've
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: never had a shot like that in my life. I've
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: never had looked back. I've had a needle in my
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: eyeball from flashing. When I worked in for on the
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: company had to scrape this little piece of melie got
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: stuck in my eye and they shot me in the
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: eye with a needle. That took thirty minutes for me
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: to not bleink. That took thirty minutes for that to
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: half so. But but it did. But as soon as
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: they touch your eye with the needle, it immediately numbs.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: That didn't happen with the foot. It was don't ever
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: get a quartos on shot you. I gotta go, We
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: gotta go, we gotta go. We'll be back. You're listening
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: to the stew all. Right here we are, Steve. We've
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: come to the end of our show. Wow, a lot
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: of stuff happened on this show today. Uh so, here
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: we go with just one more thing in your closing
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: remarks today, I want to talk to something about fear.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: Yesterday we talked about disappointment. Today I want to talk
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: to you about fear. Um. Fear is a very very
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: real emotion. Everybody experiences it on some level or another.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: There's not a person alive that does not experienced fear
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: on some level. Don't you believe that for a minute.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: I face it all the time. I know a lot
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: of other people who face it. I know some very
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: very successful people who have had to face it and
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: continue to face it. Fear is so big and so
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: prevalent today that the number one cause of failure is fear.
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: Nothing produces more failure than does fear. It is the
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: fear of failure that freezes people before they even start.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: It is the fear of failure that causes you to
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: second guess. It is the fear of failure that causes
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: you not to want to deal with the rejection and
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: the potential hurt that failure causes. So fear cripple you
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: on so many levels. Fear is the number one cause
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: of failure in this country. Okay, but how is it
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: that some people somehow manage to get by anyway? What
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: is it that you can do that would help you
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: overcome whatever fear you're facing. Well, here's what I was
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: taught and this has helped me in my life, my career,
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: my family, my jobs, my ambition, everything. To overcome fear,
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: you overcome fear with your dreams. What y'all to listen
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: to me closely? Now? How do you overcome fear? You
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: overcome fear with your dreams? Steve? How my dreams gonna
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: make me overcome my fear? Because I want you to
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: listen to me. Because the dream is everything. The Bible
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: says a man without a dream or vision shall perish.
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: The dream is everything. See, if you have no dreams
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: and visions, you will perish. You will die in fear.
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: You were die sitting somewhere in fear without dreams and visions.
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: Dreams are the counterpoint to all fear, because listen to this.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: If you dream, I want you to dream so big.
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: I want you to want something so incredible. I want
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: you to dream of having something that's so spectacular that
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: if it doesn't happen, you would be miserable. Man, If
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: I don't make this dream come true, I'm gonna be miserable.
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: I want you to dream so big that not attaining
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: that dream would absolutely lutely be horrible for you. I
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: want you to dream so big that not reaching your
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: dreams is unacceptable. You cannot live in this world without
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: the dream and the vision. You can live in this
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: world without your mother, your father, your brother. You can
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: live in this world without a wife, a husband. You
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: can live in this world without a lot of things,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: but what you cannot live in this world without his
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: dreams and visions. You will perish Without those things. You
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: have to dream or something and wants something. That's what
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: keeps pushing you forward. So if you want to overcome
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: your fear, you do it with your dreams. Dream big, man,
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: so that and dreams so big that it is unthinkable
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: that you can't have this dream come true. And here's
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: the side note. God is gonna make your dream come true? Business,
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: Ain't he? He do it all the time. I'm telling you, man,
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: God does it all the time. He makes people's dreams
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: come true. What are you dreaming about? Explore what you're
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: really dreaming about so you can lose your fear. You're
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: afraid to open your business because if your business fail,
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: you lose the money you saved. And you won't open
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: your business because you have to. You might lose your
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: job when your boss find out. Dream bigger, dream of
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: what opening that business could do for you. The freedom
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: of freedom, of the feeling of freedom that you would have,
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: the extra money you can may have, what you could
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: do for your family, the things you can leave a
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: legacy of. Maybe your dream ain't bigg enough. Maybe you
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: got the dream of owning a large company, maybe a
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: mom and pop store. Maybe you dream of climbing the
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: corporate letter. Maybe you're dreaming of becoming the supervisor or
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: the CEO or the company. You got to dream so
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: big that if this dream don't happen, you will be miserable.
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: You have to dream so big that it becomes and
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: and and it's no way you can accept your life
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: without this dream. Once you can do that, you can
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: press through your fears. You can get on with it.
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: I'm telling y'all, I was taught this to overcome fear.
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: You overcome fear with your dreams. Dreams so big that
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: if you don't attain it, it'll be horrible. Dreams so
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: big that you can't imagine your life without living your dreams.
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: And then guess what it will supply to Fortitude, the strength,
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: and the courage to face your fear and move on
