- 2:02Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show man. Oh man, oh man? How many times
- 2:14Speaker 1: I got to say that before I get tired of it.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be a minute, folks. I gotta
- 2:20Speaker 1: be real with you, because boy, that's Steve Harvey, got
- 2:24Speaker 1: a radio show man. Clear indication of how God can
- 2:30Speaker 1: do some unexpected, wonderful things for you, how he leads
- 2:35Speaker 1: your life in directions that you never ever saw coming.
- 2:38Speaker 7: You know.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I was talking with somebody the other day and they
- 2:41Speaker 1: were talking about how man, they were young, and they
- 2:43Speaker 1: were doing things, and they never knew that the things
- 2:46Speaker 1: that they were doing as a youngster would come and
- 2:51Speaker 1: help help form who they were today as an adult.
- 2:55Speaker 1: This guy is fifty years old, and uh, you know
- 2:58Speaker 1: the same thing for you. If you look back on
- 3:00Speaker 1: your life and all of the things that you've done,
- 3:04Speaker 1: it helped shape you into who you are. Now. This
- 3:08Speaker 1: is provided now that you take the positive approach. Now,
- 3:12Speaker 1: when I say look back at your life and see
- 3:14Speaker 1: what you've done, that doesn't mean dwell on the misfortunate moments,
- 3:19Speaker 1: because the misfortunate moments were necessary. I know it. It's
- 3:22Speaker 1: hard to see that when it's happening to you, But
- 3:25Speaker 1: the unfortunate moments are necessary. You know, what really makes
- 3:30Speaker 1: you appreciate summer vacation is winter work. What really makes
- 3:35Speaker 1: you appreciate a walk on the beach is when it's cold.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Is rain in our side. What really makes you appreciate
- 3:43Speaker 1: when you're up, it's because you've been down. See if
- 3:47Speaker 1: you were up all the time, just the nature of
- 3:51Speaker 1: us as human beings, we would lose our appreciation for
- 3:54Speaker 1: it because it becomes case hurrah, whatever it is, Well,
- 3:57Speaker 1: it is what it is. I'm just a but what
- 4:01Speaker 1: you take it for granted, it becomes expected. But what
- 4:03Speaker 1: happens in life s is it has so many twisting
- 4:06Speaker 1: turns and then you learn how to deal with those
- 4:09Speaker 1: twisting turns, which makes you now a more experienced person.
- 4:13Speaker 1: And then when the sunny days come, man, you go wild.
- 4:16Speaker 1: It's really nice outside. You really want to appreciate how
- 4:19Speaker 1: warm weather. Just stay in a bunch of cold weather
- 4:21Speaker 1: all the time. You know what I'm saying. I'm just
- 4:24Speaker 1: this is really simple and now a lot of analogies,
- 4:27Speaker 1: but it helps you along the way. Now here's what
- 4:30Speaker 1: I came to say today to everybody out there. And
- 4:34Speaker 1: this has helped me in my life. I can't tell
- 4:37Speaker 1: you what it's done for me, But a lot of
- 4:40Speaker 1: people are struggling with moving forward with their future, their
- 4:45Speaker 1: future plans, their future goals, their future aspirations, their future hopes,
- 4:52Speaker 1: their future dreams, just simply your future wants. A lot
- 4:57Speaker 1: of people trying to have a hard time mapping out
- 5:00Speaker 1: their future. Even what I'm gonna do, what I'm gonna be,
- 5:05Speaker 1: what I'm gonna make, how I'm or go about it?
- 5:08Speaker 1: What do I do next? I want to share something
- 5:11Speaker 1: with you that I had to come to terms with
- 5:13Speaker 1: the quickest way to lose focus on your future is
- 5:18Speaker 1: to keep focusing on your past. You know, It's like
- 5:21Speaker 1: I said at the beginning. You know when I say
- 5:23Speaker 1: it's wonderful to look at your life and review it,
- 5:27Speaker 1: because if you look at it, it'll tell you it
- 5:31Speaker 1: really helped shape inform you today as the person you
- 5:34Speaker 1: are now. If you look at it in a positive sense.
- 5:38Speaker 1: But if you dwell in harp on the negative that's
- 5:41Speaker 1: happened to you, then that keeps you from seeing the
- 5:45Speaker 1: good in the incident, every bad thing that's happened to you,
- 5:48Speaker 1: that was a silver lining behind it. I know people
- 5:51Speaker 1: who were on drugs who finally, man just got sent
- 5:55Speaker 1: to prison for stealing because of their habit. I know
- 5:58Speaker 1: cat that's sold dope. Well, he went to prison. He
- 6:02Speaker 1: told me one time, he says Steve. He said, man,
- 6:04Speaker 1: this is the best thing ever happened to me to
- 6:06Speaker 1: save my life. Now, most people would think, how in
- 6:09Speaker 1: the world is going to prison helpful for you? The
- 6:13Speaker 1: brother said, it saved my life. First of all, it
- 6:17Speaker 1: got me clean. He said, I've been clean for five
- 6:20Speaker 1: years from sitting in here. That's for starters. I'm clean.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I ain't stealing no more. I ain't putting myself in jeopardy,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else. He said. Now, man,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I done went to college. I done got a college
- 6:33Speaker 1: degree while I'm in here. Then he was released from prison,
- 6:37Speaker 1: and the brother's life was completely turned around. He married,
- 6:41Speaker 1: he got a family, he got a great job. He
- 6:44Speaker 1: go to work every day. He's a productive citizen. I mean.
- 6:48Speaker 1: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:57Speaker 1: life that he had taken for granted and was because
- 7:00Speaker 1: he said, man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:06Speaker 1: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:08Speaker 1: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:13Speaker 1: a purpose for the missteps. Every time you fail, there
- 7:16Speaker 1: was a reason for the failure. See what I had
- 7:20Speaker 1: to do was I had to learn that all of
- 7:22Speaker 1: my failures taught me how to get back up. So
- 7:26Speaker 1: I became a very strong and tough person in getting
- 7:29Speaker 1: back up. And then I was down and now so
- 7:32Speaker 1: long that it taught me how to really appreciate that up.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And so I've taken all of that and used it
- 7:40Speaker 1: those experiences that happened to me, and I became a
- 7:43Speaker 1: more experienced person. So next time when people talk about
- 7:47Speaker 1: me who don't know me, it don't shake me, cause
- 7:51Speaker 1: everybody not gonna like you. Man, you might as well
- 7:53Speaker 1: go and get on this train right now. And so
- 7:56Speaker 1: what I'm saying to you out there is the quickest
- 7:59Speaker 1: way to lose for on your future is to keep
- 8:01Speaker 1: focusing on your past. Let it go. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 8:05Speaker 1: he left. Sometimes the breakup is the blessing. I know
- 8:10Speaker 1: it's hard to break up because now you're loaning you
- 8:12Speaker 1: by yourself. But man, but wasn't you in misery when
- 8:14Speaker 1: you was in that? Weren't you in complete misery in that?
- 8:20Speaker 1: Now you kept asking God to fix it. But it
- 8:22Speaker 1: takes two people to fix a relationship. It don't just
- 8:25Speaker 1: take one. It take two to make a thing go right.
- 8:29Speaker 1: It take two to make it out of sight. You
- 8:32Speaker 1: really do have to have two people wanting a relationship
- 8:35Speaker 1: to work. It can't just be one person won a relationship.
- 8:38Speaker 1: So you can pray about the relationship all you want.
- 8:41Speaker 1: If the other person don't want you no more, it
- 8:43Speaker 1: ain't gonna act right. You can't make him do that
- 8:46Speaker 1: or you can't make her do that. But you steady
- 8:49Speaker 1: asking God for a new relationship. But you are yet
- 8:55Speaker 1: to be grateful that you are in a position to
- 8:58Speaker 1: have a relationship, and you keep harping on the past.
- 9:01Speaker 1: You don't think you hear that. I'm just a dude
- 9:03Speaker 1: with a show and I hear it all the time.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Let it go go forward. It's over. You made it,
- 9:10Speaker 1: He bought you through it, you conquered, you survived it.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Why are you dwelling on it and making it the
- 9:18Speaker 1: cross around your neck when clearly he had removed it
- 9:22Speaker 1: for you. Now, all you got to do is come on.
- 9:25Speaker 1: So if you sit behind them walls, brothers and sisters,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I'm talking directly to you sometimes. Man, you just got
- 9:32Speaker 1: to get it right. All this repeat of fender business,
- 9:35Speaker 1: that's for? Who is that for? How ignorant can you
- 9:38Speaker 1: be to keep giving your life back to the penal system?
- 9:42Speaker 1: Be free, man, walk the streets, do the right thing.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Ask God to help connect you. He could do anything.
- 9:48Speaker 1: You think he can't give you a job? Are you serious?
- 9:51Speaker 8: Man?
- 9:51Speaker 1: Put some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all. Let
- 9:54Speaker 1: it go.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Let's move here.

- 10:44Speaker 1: God is working diligently on your behalf. You must keep
- 10:48Speaker 1: the faith, Steve Harvey, trusting his time in Steve Harvey,

- 10:55Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, keep the faith. You don't have to know
- 10:59Speaker 1: exactly what the future holes, just know that God holds
- 11:02Speaker 1: it and his intent for you is to prosper you.

- 16:11Speaker 1: Because he said he'll pay you next time he see you.
- 16:17Speaker 1: That's what's called a loop hole in the contract. He
- 16:24Speaker 1: kept his word when you gave him the money, I
- 16:29Speaker 1: will pay you next time I see you. Don't look
- 16:36Speaker 1: like you're gonna get paid. Hey man, he ma, Amen, Lord,
- 16:43Speaker 1: that's what they're called reading the fine print. Know what
- 16:50Speaker 1: your contracts say. Yeah, all right, I don't know how
- 16:55Speaker 1: you're gonna handle this one.
- 16:56Speaker 8: Since the d drop said could you please read this
- 17:00Speaker 8: scripture for sister Merlene, and she wrote the scripture.
- 17:06Speaker 1: It says thou shalt.
- 17:07Speaker 8: Not talk if thy breath is louder than thy conversation
- 17:13Speaker 8: Pepper minute, chapter two versus.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Now the scripture that we're gonna do at the Jackpot joint.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Our scriptures must be a little bit closer to the
- 17:30Speaker 1: actual script that's going off the script too much. Oh yeah,
- 17:39Speaker 1: that's like, for example, had the uh the death uh
- 17:46Speaker 1: what they call it the death ministry? H silence, no,
- 17:55Speaker 1: what what what is the ones that can't here yeah
- 17:59Speaker 1: they are now. Yoh. They sent a message to me

- 18:06Speaker 1: why you have to move on? Come on, DK, we
- 18:10Speaker 1: just have to move on. You can't expect no more.
- 18:14Speaker 1: All right, you weren't at Bible study this past week.
- 18:19Speaker 8: We had to issue there, Sister Fagan said, at Bible
- 18:24Speaker 8: study all me and cheap and Brother Darius stood up
- 18:28Speaker 8: and said, well, why on maray Povis are not the father,
- 18:33Speaker 8: So they need you to come to Uh, they gonna
- 18:37Speaker 8: need you to come to Bible study because it's it's
- 18:39Speaker 8: it's it's in an uproar.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I don't know what why this broke out this way.
- 18:43Speaker 1: We all must agree with Maury Polish on initial heal.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Too many men's paying child support that shouldn't have to
- 18:58Speaker 1: be paying child support, really, and Maury can't see all
- 19:02Speaker 1: of y'allso theoliness continues. Oh goodness, all right, all right.
- 19:10Speaker 8: All right, we got a little issue on our well
- 19:15Speaker 8: prayer list. I guess you could say one of our
- 19:19Speaker 8: members are celebrity members. Bobby Brown is asking that you
- 19:23Speaker 8: actually bless his legs to dance again.
- 19:26Speaker 1: And uh. I talked with Bobby and told him.
- 19:29Speaker 8: I didn't know the path that could heal you to
- 19:31Speaker 8: that position, but I thought i'd let you answer that though.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Bobby said recently, if you want to see him dance,
- 19:39Speaker 1: he said, google me.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Get a show.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Bobby.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Bobby was something special then bad boy.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Yeah, back in the day. Yeah, but he's on tour now.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Yeah he's still know and the tour is on him too.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Yeah he's not. They both own each.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Other, Bobby, We love you, all right.
- 20:10Speaker 8: The Praise Dance team is trying to raise seven thousand dollars.
- 20:16Speaker 1: They want to go to.
- 20:19Speaker 8: They want to go to Las Vegas on a retreat,
- 20:23Speaker 8: but they don't have the money, and they're asking what
- 20:25Speaker 8: can they do to help raise the money, and one
- 20:28Speaker 8: of the deacons you know, of course, said they can
- 20:30Speaker 8: go down.
- 20:31Speaker 1: To the Script Club.
- 20:33Speaker 8: But it's whether you can say what now, they could
- 20:36Speaker 8: go to the strip club and raise the money.
- 20:39Speaker 1: But oh, that's not going to happen. I can tell
- 20:41Speaker 1: you right now they will. They will help no money,
- 20:46Speaker 1: or let's be honest and clear, or what they're needing
- 20:51Speaker 1: a seven thousand dollars for is mostly for the extra
- 20:55Speaker 1: seats that they got to pay for on Southwest. We're
- 21:01Speaker 1: not be a part of that. All these retired gymnasts.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Oh no, what, Oh, I'm tired of watching our praise
- 21:10Speaker 1: dance team. And ain't nobody got on all these one
- 21:14Speaker 1: intro vertical leaps they doing it? All?
- 21:16Speaker 4: This heit just not is not the tumble in church,

- 22:26Speaker 4: Carolyn writes, my husband isn't speaking to me because I
- 22:29Speaker 4: went through his phone and got a number. To get
- 22:33Speaker 4: a number, He picks up my phone all the time
- 22:35Speaker 4: and I don't care. So why would he put a
- 22:38Speaker 4: pass code on his phone and be so upset unless
- 22:41Speaker 4: he has something to hide?
- 22:44Speaker 1: Interesting, well, honold, why is he not speaking.
- 22:49Speaker 4: Because she went through his phone and to get a number.
- 22:51Speaker 4: He's mad about that?
- 22:55Speaker 1: You know how, brocky sa't fine nothing, But why would
- 23:02Speaker 1: you create the iignit in your own life. She didn't
- 23:08Speaker 1: find nothing. Instead of you being mad at her going
- 23:11Speaker 1: through the phone, you should be grateful. Yeah, and she looked,
- 23:18Speaker 1: trust me, she looked. Oh she after that number. No, no, no,
- 23:23Speaker 1: and she found nothing. Now you mad at her for
- 23:26Speaker 1: going through your phone.
- 23:27Speaker 4: And speaking to her.
- 23:30Speaker 1: All you had to do is go, thank you Lord.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Nothing never happened.
- 23:37Speaker 9: Ye.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Now you got this girl, you know, writing in the show,
- 23:42Speaker 1: feeling some kind of way.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Now now she's suspicious and that's our thing. Okay, that
- 23:48Speaker 4: is our thing. The silent treatment that is our thing.
- 23:52Speaker 4: Stop it, guys, it's our thing, not with these new dudes.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Yeah. No, now y'all be rolling verse and too much
- 24:00Speaker 1: in this new thing.
- 24:01Speaker 4: Yeah, silent treatment.
- 24:05Speaker 1: All right, I got speaking to you.
- 24:07Speaker 4: Yeah, stop that, all right. Moving on to Ron in
- 24:11Speaker 4: Bad Rouge, that's our thing. Ron writes, I cheated fourteen
- 24:16Speaker 4: years ago, and my wife just found out. The chick
- 24:19Speaker 4: works with her now and they were talking and she
- 24:22Speaker 4: told my wife she dated me. The lady didn't know
- 24:25Speaker 4: I was married back then. How do I convince my wife?
- 24:29Speaker 4: The lady is lying, Oh, you rote.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Bro fourteen years ago? Are you talking about.
- 24:42Speaker 7: What? What do you mean?
- 24:43Speaker 1: What is she? Yea, yeah, I dated Hull, but it
- 24:46Speaker 1: was seventeen years ago. Come oh lie, come, So you
- 24:54Speaker 1: just gotta get that. You can hold that, she can
- 24:58Speaker 1: have it. She got the year wrong, She can have that.
- 25:03Speaker 1: You got to get it outside the marriage years. That's
- 25:10Speaker 1: if you go, oh, you're talking about so and so.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I forgot all about that. That was at nineteen eighty
- 25:15Speaker 1: nine when I was at the See that's why that's easy.
- 25:20Speaker 1: And then then all you can just go with what
- 25:25Speaker 1: you know. If you get hemmed up real bad and
- 25:27Speaker 1: it looked like it's her you recognize. And they done
- 25:30Speaker 1: talked and she knew some things that she wouldn't know
- 25:33Speaker 1: unless she knew you. Then you had to go with
- 25:36Speaker 1: the change the date thing. But now if she ain't
- 25:41Speaker 1: gave up no perganent information like where your mold at
- 25:45Speaker 1: and all this here and I don't where your you know,
- 25:52Speaker 1: we were no way for her to have seen that
- 25:54Speaker 1: birthmark on the inside of your thigh.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Up. That's not a bad life, Steve, that's not a
- 26:00Speaker 4: bad lie. Yeah, credit work, No, see how I came
- 26:03Speaker 4: up with it just like that. Yeah, you're so good,
- 26:06Speaker 4: as you say.
- 26:07Speaker 5: Round boy alive seventeen years ago, he keeps alive.
- 26:15Speaker 1: She's just ready.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Reminded me of my mom so much, all right.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Yeah, updated her that you cheated, No, babe, maybe me
- 26:25Speaker 1: and you wasn't married.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Then whoa.
- 26:29Speaker 10: And you have to sell it right, yeah the way
- 26:31Speaker 10: you say yeah, yeah.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Yeah, no baby, we weren't married. Then what is she
- 26:37Speaker 1: talking about? That's not trying to make you feel some
- 26:40Speaker 1: kind of way.
- 26:40Speaker 4: It starts a mess.
- 26:42Speaker 1: You I know what you're talking about. But no, that
- 26:45Speaker 1: was back when so and so so I ain't even
- 26:47Speaker 1: me and you hadn't even dated yet. Wow, she told
- 26:51Speaker 1: you it was fourteen years ago. Yeah, she was thinking about.
- 26:55Speaker 4: That old old Yeah, she's forging adding things now. All right,
- 27:01Speaker 4: moving on to Ron, who we need some applause for
- 27:04Speaker 4: that one, Steve.
- 27:09Speaker 10: Good, Hold it.
- 27:11Speaker 4: All right, angel and Charlotte says, I'm a single mom
- 27:15Speaker 4: raising two teen daughters. I am dating a guy that's
- 27:18Speaker 4: younger than I am, and they have a lot to
- 27:20Speaker 4: say about it, and I'm tired of them telling my
- 27:23Speaker 4: mom all my business. Am I supposed to put my
- 27:26Speaker 4: dating life on hold until they move out?
- 27:30Speaker 1: Why don't you quit bringing your dating life over to
- 27:32Speaker 1: your house? Have you ever thought of that?
- 27:37Speaker 4: Huh? Right?
- 27:39Speaker 1: If you don't want them to talk about it, don't
- 27:41Speaker 1: give them nothing.
- 27:42Speaker 4: To talk about if they don't like it.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Yeah, and you all over there, you bringing them over
- 27:48Speaker 1: to the house like like like they come over here
- 27:50Speaker 1: and meet your friends and your roommates them your kids.
- 27:53Speaker 4: Right, and they're teenagers, so you know they have issues
- 27:58Speaker 4: with their parents, that.
- 27:59Speaker 1: That is, and they know more about him than you do.
- 28:02Speaker 1: They gonna google him and everything everything. Right?
- 28:05Speaker 4: So is she she's not?
- 28:07Speaker 9: Is she is?
- 28:08Speaker 4: She should put her dating life somewhat on hold, just
- 28:10Speaker 4: don't bring up if.
- 28:11Speaker 1: He's not the one, why are you introducing him to
- 28:13Speaker 1: the kids?
- 28:14Speaker 4: Right and begin with Okay, all right, good answer?
- 28:18Speaker 1: All right.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Last one, Steve, last one. This is from Shannon and Fullerton.
- 28:23Speaker 4: Shannon writes, I've been with my boyfriend for almost ten years.
- 28:28Speaker 4: We have threesomes, and he got one of the girls pregnant.
- 28:32Speaker 4: I can't be mad because I allowed it to happen.
- 28:35Speaker 4: But I am upset that he admitted that he took
- 28:38Speaker 4: off his protection. Why would he do that?
- 28:42Speaker 7: What? What?
- 28:43Speaker 1: That's the problems not the basic issue?
- 28:49Speaker 4: Uh huh Oh, I need a nap. She says she
- 28:52Speaker 4: can't be She says she can't be mad about him
- 28:55Speaker 4: getting the girl pregnant because she allows it him.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Okay, so where you're writing us fall because we can't
- 29:04Speaker 1: help you.
- 29:06Speaker 4: He took off his protection. Why would he do that?
- 29:09Speaker 4: That's what she has a problem with. That's that's where
- 29:12Speaker 4: her issue lies. Yeah, they like it.
- 29:17Speaker 1: He got caught up in it. It got good to him.
- 29:20Speaker 1: You know what's happening.
- 29:21Speaker 4: Ten years they've been doing.
- 29:23Speaker 1: That and guess what. And that's and you're not going
- 29:26Speaker 1: to be nobody wife. So what you're worried about it, Faul,
- 29:28Speaker 1: thank you ten years y'all having threesome. He don't want
- 29:32Speaker 1: you as no wife, you harsh.
- 29:36Speaker 4: If they break up, he'll marry someone else of them.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Yeah, now his baby, he's like tricky now.
- 29:48Speaker 4: So, but he's not going to marry the baby mama either,

- 30:43Speaker 4: Walkman arcade games and even suits and hats for men,
- 30:48Speaker 4: remember pac Man.
- 30:49Speaker 1: And all that. Yeah and yeah, I still play pac Man.
- 30:55Speaker 1: I can't play the new games. They too complicated. I

- 32:25Speaker 4: But Jewish manners were more prominent like they used to be.
- 32:29Speaker 1: I mean you know what I'm really proud of though,
- 32:31Speaker 1: I think all of my kids are very, very manner.
- 32:33Speaker 4: You know you have a great kid.
- 32:36Speaker 7: You know.
- 32:45Speaker 4: She got a lot of clap back going on.

- 34:07Speaker 1: that real close, especially coming out of homeless people talking

- 34:53Speaker 1: you can have your own Wi Fi in your car.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Yeah I know. Yeah, it's it's Limos that have that,
- 34:58Speaker 1: not Limos because car service. How you get it though,
- 35:02Speaker 1: It's just a little program that you buy, you put
- 35:05Speaker 1: it in your car, and then you have your own
- 35:07Speaker 1: password to your own WiFi. So when you go way out,
- 35:10Speaker 1: you know you'll still have WiFi. I need that from
- 35:13Speaker 1: my son.

- 37:18Speaker 4: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:26Speaker 5: Do you ever notice your floors still look dirty even
- 37:28Speaker 5: after you mop? Power Mop gives you a deeper clean
- 37:32Speaker 5: you can see and feel. Unlike stream mops, Swift for
- 37:36Speaker 5: power Mop absorbs more dirt and locks it away even
- 37:40Speaker 5: and hard to reach places like behind the toilet. The
- 37:43Speaker 5: new micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning actions
- 37:47Speaker 5: for results that look, smell, and feel clean. No more
- 37:51Speaker 5: dirty floors. Try the Swift for power Mop. Love it
- 37:55Speaker 5: or your money back.
- 37:57Speaker 4: There was a lot of violence in the new over
- 38:00Speaker 4: the weekend. In Virginia. Well, let me say this. Former
- 38:05Speaker 4: Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, Justin Fairfax, reportedly shot his wife
- 38:09Speaker 4: several times. He killed her, then he took his own
- 38:12Speaker 4: life by gunfire. They were going through messy divorce. It
- 38:16Speaker 4: says a couple hadn't been sleeping in the same bedroom
- 38:20Speaker 4: justin Fairfax, was suffering from alcoholism, financial difficulties, several severe depressions,
- 38:26Speaker 4: several things. The judge had awarded him, the two teenage
- 38:30Speaker 4: children had awarded the wife the two teenage children, and
- 38:33Speaker 4: they were at home at the time of those shootings.
- 38:37Speaker 4: Wow Wow, And then you move on to Shreveport, Louisiana.
- 38:41Speaker 4: Yesterday morning, the gunman identified as Shamar Elkins, shot and
- 38:46Speaker 4: killed eight children and tragically wounded two women. Several of
- 38:51Speaker 4: the children were his own children. They were his own children.
- 38:55Speaker 4: Seven of these children were his own children. Shootings began
- 38:58Speaker 4: before early in the morning before sunrise, took place two
- 39:02Speaker 4: different homes. He then, after this allegedly carjacked the vehicle.
- 39:07Speaker 4: Police chase ensued. When they finally caught up with Elkins,
- 39:12Speaker 4: the officers he was pronounced dead at the scene. This
- 39:15Speaker 4: was because of a domestic violence as well. I mean, yeah,
- 39:21Speaker 4: I could hardly get.
- 39:24Speaker 1: You know, without coming across as holier than thou because
- 39:29Speaker 1: I'm not listen all of these things occur, and we
- 39:34Speaker 1: got to be conscious of that. People like us who
- 39:37Speaker 1: live to hear these stories, this is a disconnect. This
- 39:41Speaker 1: is a complete disconnect from God, from your faith, from hope,
- 39:47Speaker 1: from love. This is a complete disconnect. These people are
- 39:52Speaker 1: allowing the devil to do the number one thing that
- 39:55Speaker 1: the devil has a mission for, and that is to
- 39:58Speaker 1: rob you of your destiny. The devil denies want any
- 40:01Speaker 1: of us to be what God created us to be,
- 40:04Speaker 1: and that's his mission in life. And if he can
- 40:06Speaker 1: get through you, and there's so many channels to get
- 40:09Speaker 1: to you now, but if you stop praying, if you
- 40:13Speaker 1: lose your connection to God, if you don't keep your faith,
- 40:18Speaker 1: you are in trouble. I don't care who you are,
- 40:21Speaker 1: I don't care how strong you are. It may not
- 40:24Speaker 1: go to this degree, but it'll go to some degree.
- 40:28Speaker 1: And I am a living witness that you cannot turn
- 40:33Speaker 1: your back and lose your relationship with God. I'm telling you, man,
- 40:37Speaker 1: And if you've done it, I'm telling you right now,
- 40:41Speaker 1: get it together, folks, Get it together. We living in
- 40:43Speaker 1: a time right now, that is, we live in a
- 40:47Speaker 1: crazy time. Our government officials that constitution that they keep
- 40:55Speaker 1: hanging they hat on that. They don't care nothing about them,
- 40:58Speaker 1: all of it. Look at the world we end, man.
- 41:01Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, we start wars and.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Then get praised for trying to stop it. What Yeah,
- 41:07Speaker 1: this is crazy, man, Keep it freak together, y'all.
- 41:11Speaker 4: That's right, thank you. Coming up more of the Steve

- 43:38Speaker 4: has no fear.
- 43:39Speaker 1: You know, I was thinking about I'm probably gonna go
- 43:41Speaker 1: on and see the Pope I'm going to now, I'm
- 43:47Speaker 1: gonna go to concession online. My ram daid told me
- 43:52Speaker 1: how to do that. I'm gonna ask him to get
- 43:53Speaker 1: on the other side of that. Do and I'm telling
- 43:55Speaker 1: what's going on? Crazy?
- 44:00Speaker 13: You need need leading folkloon. I don't know what any

- 44:13Speaker 4: and Savior.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Oh hey, I well AI?
- 44:17Speaker 4: Well the president posted an AI image of himself as

- 57:12Speaker 4: his wife, so I've never run into them together. He
- 57:15Speaker 4: put me in his will recently after he had his
- 57:18Speaker 4: appendix removed. And that strengthened his commitment to me. Our
- 57:22Speaker 4: connection is so real. I lost a lot of married
- 57:26Speaker 4: girlfriends over the years that say I'm a homewrecker and
- 57:29Speaker 4: I need to get a life and leave this man alone.
- 57:32Speaker 4: I believe it is possible to love more than one person,
- 57:35Speaker 4: so that is why I have been thinking about stepping
- 57:37Speaker 4: out on my men and getting a man on the side.
- 57:40Speaker 4: I have been with the same guy for fourteen years,
- 57:43Speaker 4: and I know he's not having sex with his wife,
- 57:46Speaker 4: but I want to experiment a little with someone new,
- 57:50Speaker 4: just in case he is. I meet men all the time,
- 57:53Speaker 4: but the one I met last week has really got
- 57:55Speaker 4: my attention. The first night, he sent me nudes and
- 57:59Speaker 4: I was very impressed. I told him I am in
- 58:02Speaker 4: a relationship and he said that's fine for now, but
- 58:05Speaker 4: I'm going to be his woman one day soon. He
- 58:09Speaker 4: is fifty and he's never been married. I want to
- 58:12Speaker 4: get to know him, but he wants to rush right
- 58:15Speaker 4: into sex. I feel like I should be honest with
- 58:17Speaker 4: my boyfriend and tell him I've met someone. This new
- 58:21Speaker 4: guy said, I don't have to tell my married man anything.
- 58:24Speaker 4: He said, I should have a man all to myself
- 58:27Speaker 4: and I'm selling myself short. I'm not like other women
- 58:30Speaker 4: that need a man around all of the time. So
- 58:33Speaker 4: I was content. The new guy has me thinking is
- 58:36Speaker 4: there something better out there? Or does he just want
- 58:40Speaker 4: to have sex?
- 58:41Speaker 7: Well?
- 58:41Speaker 4: Yes and yes? Is there something better out there?
- 58:45Speaker 1: Yes?
- 58:45Speaker 4: Does he just want to have sex?
- 58:47Speaker 1: Yes?
- 58:48Speaker 4: I cannot believe this letter. I mean, really, do you
- 58:52Speaker 4: hear yourself. You've been with a married man for fourteen
- 58:55Speaker 4: years that you've been fooled into thinking doesn't have sex
- 59:01Speaker 4: with his wife. Wow. Just because you guys have a
- 59:04Speaker 4: condo together, just because you travel together, doesn't mean they
- 59:08Speaker 4: are not at home in the suburbs doing it. He
- 59:11Speaker 4: lives with her, he sleeps with her. Okay, you wrote
- 59:15Speaker 4: this letter like everything is fine, You're cool, everything's good. Well,
- 59:20Speaker 4: it's not fine. Everything is not good. Everyone sees this,
- 59:23Speaker 4: but you, the women that used to be your friends
- 59:26Speaker 4: don't like you. He's creeping, he's cheating with you. You're
- 59:30Speaker 4: still the other woman, You're still the side piece to
- 59:33Speaker 4: jump off all of that. He may have put you
- 59:35Speaker 4: in his will, but really, if something happens to him,
- 59:38Speaker 4: who do you think the insurance company is going to contact?
- 59:40Speaker 7: Not you?
- 59:42Speaker 1: The wife?
- 59:42Speaker 10: Okay?
- 59:43Speaker 4: You have no rights, you have no stay in this
- 59:45Speaker 4: man's life. That would be fourteen years you put in
- 59:49Speaker 4: for nothing? What a waste? Don't you want a man
- 59:53Speaker 4: of your own? And I'll tell you this, this new man,
- 59:57Speaker 4: I don't think he's right either because he just wan.
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: You said it yourself. You need to get out of
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: this going nowhere relationship. Don't even entertain this new guy.
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: So yes, again, there is something better out there for you,
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: but you can't see it because you won't get out
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: of your own way. You are fifty two years old.
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: You gotta do better for yourself. Neither one of these
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: guys mean you any good, So stop letting them use
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: you for sex and just get out now.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Steve, I'm gonna just jump right into this letter right here,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: because this letter right here is kind of makes me mad.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Throughout the letter, this fifty two year old woman been
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: dating a married man for fourteen years. She started this
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: when she was thirty eight. That's a big chunk of
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: your life dedicated to something that ain't going nowhere. Obviously,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: our rage red works out great, and we have a
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: condo together and we travel together. My family loves him.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: I love his family. Where is this going. Our condo
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: is downtown and his house is in the suburbs with
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: his wife, so I've never run in them together. Well,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: that's because it's the perfect distance. You downtown there in
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: the suburbs. He got a creep prill and you in it.
- 1:01:09Speaker 13: And he put me in his reel weasonly after he
- 1:01:11Speaker 13: had his appendix removed, and that strengthened his commitment to me.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: No, lady, he told you he put you in his will.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: He told you that you're gonna sit up there and
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: tell your wife? Were fin to put this in the wheel?
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Were you crazy man to put you in the will?
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: He told you that that line made me sicker than
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: any other line in this letter. Put you in his will.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Our connection is so real. I lost a lot of
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: married girlfriends over the years and say, I'm a home reckord.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: I needed to get a life and lead this man alone.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: I believe it's possible to love more than one person.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: So that is why I'm thinking about stepping out on
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: my man and getting a man on the side.
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: Well why not? Why not you a side?
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: Now you are?
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: Now you thinking about getting a man on the side,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: And you says, because you believe that a person can
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: love more than one person. That that's what he told you.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: See he took the marriage. Dude told you that. That's
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: where you got that from. So now you're thinking, well, okay, well,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: since he loving two people, let me go love two people.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: I've been with the same guy for fourteen years and
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: I know he's not having sex with his wife. What
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: what in fourteen years? They ain't got no kids. This
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: man ain't got no kids. How you think they got him?
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I want to experiment with a little, a little, with
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: someone new, just in case he is. I thought you
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: said he wasn't having sex. Now you say you want
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: to experiment on the side just in case. Hell you
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: mean just in case he having sex at his house
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: and the pen house. Look girl, all right, see hang on,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: hang on. Okay.
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: twenty three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry letter subject
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: is there something better out there? We'll get back into
- 1:03:08Speaker 4: it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:40Speaker 4: five one fifty four hundred or globelifradio dot com. All right, Steve,
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: is there something better out there? Do you?
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: Ol?
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Woman been dating this man for fourteen years. Their raigement
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: is great. They got a little apartment together downtown. His
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: family lives out in the suburbs. That she feels as
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: though their relationship to strengthen now because he put me
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: in his will recently after his appendix, and that strengthen
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: his commitment to me, he said, didn't listen to me.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: How does that strengthen his commitment to you? He put
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: you in the wheel. This is after he died. What
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: where is the commitment after he died? Do you understand
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: what the will is? It's enforced after the depth of
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: the person. If he's strengthening his commitment to you, it
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: ain't after depth. He goes he ain't committed to nobody now,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: and let me tell you something you ain't in no will.
- 1:04:46Speaker 11: He told you.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: He put you in the wheel. You believe anything, you
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: can't You kind of stupid, really idea you said, I
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: believe it's possible little more than one person. Well, that's
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: cause he told you that too. That's why I've been
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: thinking about stepping out on my man and getting a
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: man on the side. I've been in the same guy
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: for fourteen years. I know he's not having sex with
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: his wife. He is, but I want to experiment a
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: little with someone new, just in.
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: Case he is.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Okay, he's having sex with his wife. I'm just gonna
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: tell you that right now, and that you want to
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: experience somebody just in case he is. Ain't. No, in
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: case he is. I meet me in all the time.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: But the one I met last week really got my attention. Okay,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: listen to this line. The first night he sent me nudes,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: and I was very impressed. You was impressed. The first
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: night he sent you news, and you was impressed. YO
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: should have been scared. See, you don't know what to feel.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: This man just mets you, and all of a sudden
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: he sending nude pictures and you was impressed, should have
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: been scared. I told him I'm in a relationship, and
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: he said, that's fine for now, but I'm going to
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: be his woman one day soon. Okay, ladies, I want
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: to teach you all something. If a man says to you,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: you gonna be my woman one day soon, I want
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: you to hear what that really means. That means you
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: gonna be his woman for one day, and the next line,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: as soon as possible. So as soon as possible, you're
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: gonna be his woman for one day. Now, he'dne already
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: send you news, and then he follows it up with
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: this line right here. He don't even know you. He's
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: fifty and he's never been married, and I want to
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: get to know him, but he wants to rush right
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: into sex. That's why he sent the news. You got
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: the new picture. You're right about that. He sent you
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: the new picture first night. I feel like I should
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: be honest with my boyfriend and tell him I've met someone. Okay,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: they did what? Okay, go ahead, just try that and
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: then write in back. Let us go, honey, Well, go
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: ahead and tell you nothing. The new guy said, I
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: don't have to tell my mad man anything. Boy people
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: can just tell you anything? Can your boy? To side
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: said you got to tell him nothing. You should have
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: a man all to yourself, and I'm selling myself short.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I'm not like other women that need a man around
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: all the time. So I was content. The new guy
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: has me thinking is there something better out there? Does
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: he just want to say surely is absolutely right? Yes
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: he does? Won't say and that's all he wanted to say.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: He just nuts you. He send you news the first night.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: You impressed and you should have been scared.
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: Who does that?
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: If you meet a guy on the first night he
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: send you a new picture of himself. What you think
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: he wanted? How stupid can you be? Then he tells
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: you don't need to tell your friend nothing because you
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: know now he gonna talk you out of sleeping with him. Look, lady,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: you got low self esteeve fourteen years you with someone
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: that ain't going nowhere. Now you're on a experiment. But
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: because you don't have any experience at dating, you just
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: have experience at creeping. Now you don't even know what
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: to say to the dude that's dating. So lady, I
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: don't look, I don't know ya. Let me see what
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: she asked us. Is that something better out there? Of
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: course it is. But see the problem with you getting
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: something better is you ain't what better people want? See,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: what's a word you can't get what you don't give.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: You want a man that's upstanding, that's gonna treat you
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: right when you're not treating other people right, or you
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: want somebody to treat you a certain way when you
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: let anybody treat you any kind of way. So is
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: it something better out there? To answer that question is
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: absolutely there's something better out there, But that's something better
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: is looking for something better hisself, and right now you
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: ain't it. So I don't know what you want, and
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: I don't know what anybody out there wants that does
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: this type of thing. So that's it for you. I
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: don't know what else to tell you. Yeah, now, look,
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: let's be adults about this whole thing. Situations happen, that's life.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: But lady you wrote in I'm just telling you you
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: going down there, you're the No Where relationship and you
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: just got to understand that if you were seeing other
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: people trying to get your life together, I'd understand that
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: You've been on hover fourteen years.
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, thank you Steeve. Post your comments on

- 1:11:12Speaker 14: Kevin Miers upset the Raptors one twenty six to one thirteen.
- 1:11:16Speaker 14: Go Cleveland the Nuggets. The Denver Nuggets beat the Timmy
- 1:11:20Speaker 14: Wolves one sixteen.
- 1:11:21Speaker 10: To one oh five.
- 1:11:23Speaker 14: And then we have the Hall of I mean, the
- 1:11:25Speaker 14: Knicks beating the Hawks man one thirteen to one oh two.
- 1:11:29Speaker 10: This one hurt though. The Lakers beat the Rockets one
- 1:11:34Speaker 10: o seven to ninety eight. I just don't know what
- 1:11:37Speaker 10: happened to us. I turned that game off in the
- 1:11:39Speaker 10: fourth quarter with like eight minutes left.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: I couldn't watch this. We was horrible. Kevin Durant wasn't playing.
- 1:11:45Speaker 14: He was a game time scratch. They scratched him right

- 1:12:00Speaker 1: What happened?
- 1:12:01Speaker 10: Like, lay your age, Lebron.
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: He had something to prove, you know that he had
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: something approved?
- 1:12:07Speaker 14: Well, O man, here we had the Celtics and the
- 1:12:09Speaker 14: seventh sixties and we gotta talk to Philly.

- 1:12:25Speaker 14: but please make an effort. These are defended champs. Play
- 1:12:28Speaker 14: like you want to win. And then we had the
- 1:12:32Speaker 14: Pistons and the Magic, and the Magic is the only
- 1:12:35Speaker 14: team this weekend that won on the road. They beat
- 1:12:38Speaker 14: Detroit one twelve to one on one, and this was
- 1:12:42Speaker 14: the game. I wanted to see the Spurs and the Trailblazers.
- 1:12:46Speaker 14: And let me tell you something, this boy victim women
- 1:12:48Speaker 14: Yama is not playing around. This boy did everything. Okay,

- 1:13:00Speaker 14: He just not even in the game. Block and child,
- 1:13:02Speaker 14: he's just too long, way too long. So they yeah,
- 1:13:09Speaker 14: we want to live in the ninety eight. Want to
- 1:13:11Speaker 14: live in the ninety eight.
- 1:13:12Speaker 10: So that was the Game's over the weekend.

- 1:13:39Speaker 14: fifteen like they ain't doing.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: No give what you out here for.
- 1:13:41Speaker 10: You need to be practicing what y'all need to be doing.
- 1:13:43Speaker 10: Put you out here? Which out here? Dad in ports
- 1:13:46Speaker 10: for practice?
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: All right, Junior?
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: Coming up at the top of the hour, a dad
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: is not happy about his son's upcoming wedding. He needs
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: some advice. Right after this, listen to the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: Morning Show. This is from Tyrek and Cincinnati. Terrek says,
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: my son is getting married and the girl's parents expect
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: my wife and I to pay for everything because we
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: have the means to. I sat by my I sat
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: my son down and told him to really evaluate the
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: relationship because I think she is with him because of
- 1:14:23Speaker 4: the money. My wife and I have flourishing businesses and
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: our son is opening another location next month. He got
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: offended and told his fiance his parents met with my
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: wife and I and said I was out of line.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: This is my son and my money, so I have
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: every right to do that. The kids are only twenty
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: two and twenty three years old, So what's the rush?
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: Am I out of line for how I'm feeling about this?
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Well, no, you're not out of line. Traditionally, by rules,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: the way it really works is the daughter's order father
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: is responsible for the wedding. Yeah, that's whatever money level
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: they are. See, they keep switching these rules around here
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: to a fit to fit their narrative. And no, bro,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: you're not wrong. Technically, the girl's side of the family
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: pays for the wedding.
- 1:15:13Speaker 4: That's right, Steve, that's the way it works. Yeah.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: Now if they want to do this on their own,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: the two young people, then they have to pay for
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: it on their own, and they can do it anyway
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: they want you. They can do it jointly or however
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: they want to. But they figured since your family got
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: the money, it should be on you. No, bro, he
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: don't that other man. Don't get off the hook. That's
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: his daughter. Traditionally it's the woman the girl's family has
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: to pay for the wedding over here. That's how it works.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: And that because because I'm paid for two of them.
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: Yeah, lots of entertainment, the food, yes, all of them.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: I'm so glad. Ain't nobody close right now? I needed
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: a break.
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: We do have time for another one. Uh Steve, this
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: is from June and Fayetteville. June says, I had a
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: fling with the mailman and it was fun while it lasted.
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: He left that position and got a desk job at
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: the post office. He thought we could keep the magic going,
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: but it's not the same when he comes by. It
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: was something about the uniform and the fact that we
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: have quickies while he was working.
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: I don't like him.
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: Uh huh, Yeah, I don't like him trying to hang
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: out at my house after sex. How do I tell
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: him that the thrill is gone him?
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: What you just told us?
- 1:16:37Speaker 7: What?
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Well that had? I don't want you. You You ain't
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: got no mail uniform. You ain't bringing no check by here,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: No no money. That's part of it. Well he's bringing
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: that check back, so now it ain't having it. You
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: get your old job back now if you want this back. Yeah,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: you gotta get that mail bag back.
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: That's what did it, the mail bagform.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't take much. You ain't got no, he
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: ain't gotta have no police uniform. He ain't gotta have
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: no military. Military you think of the military would have
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: some of the badges and everything. You don't even get
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: a badge for. They get to wear the long black
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: socks and muggly chunks and drive on the wrong side
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: of the street. Oh, he could just get out that
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: door against it.
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: Well, anyway, she's over it now, the wrong side of
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: the Never lucked my mailman like that?
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: Ever?
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: Ever, the it is the beautiful ever.
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: So he has a desk job now, so it's over.
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: But but you think she should tell him. How what
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: should she say?
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: It's over? I don't like you like that.
- 1:17:57Speaker 4: Shouldn't she be a little nicer, a little softer.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Oh it was a mistake, steak. I thought she was
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: turned on by the uniform.
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: Now he got this job.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Now they don't wear the same uniform. He wears street clothes.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: He got that old and everybody over there just looking
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: real regularly. She stays down on the rock Ports shoes.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: They mightn't even work shoes, the rock Ports shoes to
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: wear on his own, some rock ports.
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: Yeah, she says, the thrill is gone. Wow, okay. And
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: he likes to hang out at her house after sex.
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: She doesn't like that, so he should.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Go stop and go.
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: Yeah, it's over all right, thank you. Coming up at
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: twenty minutes after, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: Morning Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:18:50Speaker 4: Harvey Morning Show. Well, if you plan to be outside
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: a lot this spring and summer, be warned. The Asian
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: needle ant. The Asian needle ant is infiltrating the US,
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: specifically the South. The small shiny ants are natives of
- 1:19:10Speaker 4: China and Japan, and they pack a powerful, I mean
- 1:19:13Speaker 4: a painful, venomous sting. Powerful too. The sting can throb
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: for more than a half an hour, and in some
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: cases wow trigger severe allergic reactions. The Asian needle ants
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: have been spotted across the US and in parts of Georgia.
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: Scientists say the ants can be found under nearly every
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: log and stump. So, Steve, you spend a lot of

- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Though? Well, you can get what I was told.

- 1:22:50Speaker 1: been in a boat, a row boat, a simple boat, oars,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: didn't even have a motor on it. Sitting on a
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: flat bottom John boat with my boy Chris Martin, and
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: we was fishing. I saw at least six gators.
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: Whoa did they see you?
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Pretty sure they did?
- 1:23:10Speaker 11: They live.

- 1:23:17Speaker 1: you caught a fish.
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: Oh so it's worth the risk.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: No fish save me? Yeah, I didn't know he was

- 1:24:40Speaker 4: Morning Show. Think about the people who mean the most
- 1:24:47Speaker 4: to you. Giving them valuable protection is a great gift
- 1:24:50Speaker 4: you can offer, and Globe Life Insurance can make it easy.
- 1:24:54Speaker 4: With Globe Life coverage, there's no medical exam, just a
- 1:24:57Speaker 4: simple application. Take this step for the people you love.
- 1:25:01Speaker 4: Called Globe Life at one eight hundred two five, one

- 1:25:13Speaker 4: last break of the day and it's that time. Junior,
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: you have a question for seeing Oh god, oh god.
- 1:25:20Speaker 10: Oh yeah, let's talk about it.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: The last one. We're talk about hell, let's talk about
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: talking about what?
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: No no, no, no.
- 1:25:28Speaker 10: Answer for how far has you bought marriage?
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Just them two? You No, we're not talking about Let
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: me ask a question. I asked you the question. Yes, sir, Yes, sir, yes, sir.
- 1:25:38Speaker 10: I just want to know how far did you drip
- 1:25:41Speaker 10: away from God and came back? How far did you
- 1:25:43Speaker 10: really go?
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: How's gone? Dug, how's going back? Blunder?
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: We so close, so close saying yet so far?
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: I was going. I was gone. I was going. Wasn't
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: praying on a daily basis, was waking up making my
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: own decisions. I had three telephones, but I was just
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: I would just wake up and just start nonsense. I
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: would open my morning with nonsense. Man, I would, I
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: would just I was. I was in a bad place man,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: because I had made a decision. I just made a decision.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: I don't know if it was even a one day.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: I just said, you know what, I ain't gonna talk
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: to God about nothing else. I didn't do that. I just,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: over a period of time, became more and more about me,
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: more and more self, more and more doing what I
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: wanted to do. More. I was waking up, living more
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: and more without constraints, and that I was a dark
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: period of my life. Man, And I look back on
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: it and I go, man, how did God ever ever
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: let you back from that? Because that was crazy? Man.
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: That's when I understood fully that God was really, really
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: a forgiving God, that God really loves you so much
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: that he will he will find a way, He will
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: find a way to forgive you. I mean, I can't
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: say find a way God will forgive you. Ain't no
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: find a way. That's that's how he operates. He's a
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: forgiving God, man, because for have given me for that
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: period I was in and then to bring me completely
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: back and let me get up and build me back up. Man.
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: But one thing it taught me taught me a couple
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: of things. Number One, you are nothing without God. That
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: was the biggest lesson I learned. Number Two, the other
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: lesson I learned was you don't need to ever try
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: that again. And I think the third biggest lesson I
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: probably learned was as you look back on the results
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: of the decision you made not to confide, confer, or
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: have relationship with God, if you look at the results,
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: it was just it's heartbreaking, heartbreaking. The number of years
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: I wasted, but it was all for a lesson learned,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: so I didn't even I learned to quit looking at
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: them ales as losses, and I wish everybody else could
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: understand that, stop looking at every al you take in
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: life as a loss, because that's not always the case.
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: Sometimes and oftentimes and all the time. And when I
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: really look back on it, all them als I took
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: wasn't losses, then was lessons. I started valuing the losses
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: and under standing that the losses them als you taking
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: are really lessons. You can deal with it better because
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: everybody has them. I'm taking an AL right now. I'm
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: taking a hard AL right now. But guess what, I
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: know what it is. I know exactly what it is.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: I'm in the middle of a lesson, and it's amazing
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: at my age, how I'm still having to learn these lessons.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: You don't ever stop learning. If you keep living, You're
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: gonna always learn. And I'm learning something new about God
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: right now. And he needed me to understand this to
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: elevate me to the next level. Now where that level is,
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: I have no idea. I really don't know what He's
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: up to right now, but I'm show trusting. I'm show trusting.
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: That's all I got. And that's exactly where he wanted
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: me to be at this point in my life. He
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: put me in a position, man, where it was just
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: me and him. It's just really me and him right now. Oh.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: I have a family, I have a wife, I got
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: somebody I can confide in, pray with God, all that.
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: But God needed to pull me to the side and go, hey, man, okay,
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: now listen, well, I'm about to take you. I need
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: you to understand how important it is to stay in
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: tune with me. So he has my undivided attention right now,
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: and so wherever he fin to elevate me too. I
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: ain't gonna tell you where it is cause I don't
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: even know. You know, it ain't like I'm holding back
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: y'all all see nothing. I ain't. I don't have that
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: for you. I'm being honest with you. I really really don't.
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: And a pastor sent me a text out of nowhere.
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: He said, Man, you know, I ain't see nothing on
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: Instagram or nothing. I just I was driving it. God
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: put your face in front of me, so I'm sending
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: you this text. And he sent me a great text man,
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: that was just what I needed at that moment because
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: I had just asked God, God, just just give me
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: a sign that it's gonna be alright. And it was
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: an hour later that text came through and it was
