- 3:06Speaker 1: me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well,
- 3:12Speaker 1: I gotta tell you something, everybody, And this is great
- 3:15Speaker 1: news for everybody that um or share something with. Your
- 3:20Speaker 1: principal of becoming successful at whatever level you choose. It
- 3:28Speaker 1: can be successful in the relationship, successful in the family.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Successes may be considered you becoming a homeowner. It could
- 3:37Speaker 1: be being dead free. Your idea of success could be
- 3:42Speaker 1: sixty thousand a year, fifty thousand a year, a hundred
- 3:46Speaker 1: thousand dollars a year. Doesn't matter if you're considering it,
- 3:51Speaker 1: if you're wanting it, if you have a desire to
- 3:54Speaker 1: become successful. I want to share with you the very
- 3:58Speaker 1: beginning of that. If no one's ever done it, I'm
- 4:01Speaker 1: gonna say the beginning of it today. See scripture makes
- 4:08Speaker 1: it very clear for us that you don't The only
- 4:13Speaker 1: thing you need to become successful is already inside of you.
- 4:17Speaker 1: It's not an external need. God wouldn't do that to you.
- 4:23Speaker 1: He puts the core basis of everything you need inside
- 4:27Speaker 1: of you. So if you discover it, if you tend
- 4:32Speaker 1: to it, nurturing, fertilize it, and water it, it grows,
- 4:38Speaker 1: It branches out. Then it reaches out externally and it
- 4:41Speaker 1: starts grabbing things outside of there to make it even bigger, stronger, better,
- 4:46Speaker 1: last longer. But in the very beginning, you don't need anything.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It's all within you. And if you cultivate your relationship
- 4:55Speaker 1: with God, it comes out, it flourishes. Now, let me
- 5:00Speaker 1: tell you that thing that I'm talking about is a
- 5:03Speaker 1: God given gift that He has given to all of us.
- 5:07Speaker 1: We all possess it. It is all within us, and
- 5:11Speaker 1: everybody has a gift. Had somebody told me what I
- 5:16Speaker 1: know now back then, I would have saved myself tons
- 5:19Speaker 1: of mistakes. I just didn't know the principles. I had
- 5:20Speaker 1: to learn them all. Well. One of the principles are
- 5:23Speaker 1: becoming successful is your mind set You got to get
- 5:29Speaker 1: your mind right now. This mindset is simply a decision
- 5:34Speaker 1: that you can make. I can't get it for you.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I can tell you what to do, but you got
- 5:41Speaker 1: to make the decision. You just listening have to decide.
- 5:44Speaker 1: You know what, I'm gonna go on and get at it.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna stop wrinting. I'm gonna become a homeowner. You
- 5:49Speaker 1: know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna stop living check
- 5:51Speaker 1: to check. I'm gonna i'm i'm I'm I'm gonna put
- 5:54Speaker 1: a budget together. I'm gonna stop stepping out on my family.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna go home. I'm gonna get it together. I'm
- 6:02Speaker 1: gonna stop using you when you make these decisions. That's
- 6:07Speaker 1: correcting your mindset. Now. The closer connection you have with God,
- 6:11Speaker 1: the more help you get sustaining the mindset. How many
- 6:14Speaker 1: times have you started to do something and you stopped?
- 6:17Speaker 1: How many resolutions have you made at the New Year
- 6:20Speaker 1: and stop? By February? Over with? By me? A January
- 6:24Speaker 1: done in March. Because if you don't have a clear
- 6:29Speaker 1: connection with your creator to help you carry out the
- 6:34Speaker 1: other force out there, that evil force is designed to
- 6:37Speaker 1: get you not to reach your goals get you not
- 6:40Speaker 1: to come to resolution with whatever the resolutions are you
- 6:43Speaker 1: made so he can conso you can consider yourself not
- 6:46Speaker 1: worthy or failure, are unable to do something. But the
- 6:51Speaker 1: more things you are able to accomplish, the greater your
- 6:53Speaker 1: confidence goals grows. So we gotta get your mind set together.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Your mindset is a decision that you have to When
- 7:00Speaker 1: you make the decision, you can be getting the process.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Your mindset is also a will of yours, a will
- 7:08Speaker 1: along with the decision, a will, a willingness to do right,
- 7:14Speaker 1: a willingness to change, a willingness to be better. It's
- 7:20Speaker 1: going to then cause you to have to make a
- 7:23Speaker 1: decision to make a change of direction. Don't go where
- 7:27Speaker 1: everybody else going. You got to go your way now.
- 7:30Speaker 1: You can't follow the crowd. You gotta take a less
- 7:32Speaker 1: travel path. You cannot do this without changing your direction.
- 7:38Speaker 1: You can't keep hanging with the people you've been hanging
- 7:40Speaker 1: with if you want to be different because they're not.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Then you have to develop an obligation to yourself. You've
- 7:49Speaker 1: got to say, you know what for me and my family.
- 7:53Speaker 1: If you don't have a family for me, I owe
- 7:55Speaker 1: it to myself I have an obligation to myself to
- 7:59Speaker 1: be the best meat that I can possibly be, to
- 8:02Speaker 1: be the best self that I can possibly be, to
- 8:06Speaker 1: be the best father, the best man, the best husband,
- 8:10Speaker 1: the best wife, the best mother, the best daughter, the
- 8:14Speaker 1: best son, the best student, the best employee, the best owner.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You have an obligation to yourself to to give yourself
- 8:22Speaker 1: a shot at the best life you can. That's an obligation.
- 8:27Speaker 1: You owe that to yourself. Why would you not live
- 8:30Speaker 1: the best life that you possibly could. You have an
- 8:32Speaker 1: obligation to yourself. Why would you treat yourself like that?
- 8:37Speaker 1: Why would you take yourself and never allow yourself to
- 8:41Speaker 1: see the goodness that's already in you, to have the
- 8:44Speaker 1: abundance that's been promised to you, to go and explore
- 8:50Speaker 1: all the riches out there that's available to you. And but,
- 8:56Speaker 1: but but one of the worst ways that you can
- 8:59Speaker 1: rob your self of the joy of your obligation is
- 9:02Speaker 1: to keep comparing yourself to somebody else. Because guess what, Man,
- 9:05Speaker 1: that ain't your life. You ain't jay Z and Beyonce,
- 9:10Speaker 1: you you're not You're not open. Instead, man, that's not
- 9:13Speaker 1: who you are. Quit looking around at everybody else that
- 9:18Speaker 1: comparison of everybody else to keep you broken it, to
- 9:21Speaker 1: keep you unhappy. You won't even be able to be
- 9:24Speaker 1: grateful for what you have because you steady talking about
- 9:26Speaker 1: what you don't have. That's not the way, man. You
- 9:29Speaker 1: have an obligation to yourself to be the best you
- 9:33Speaker 1: You can be, not the best them. You're not them.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Stop trying to be them. Be the best you. It's cool.
- 9:40Speaker 1: You got a nice little house. That's cool. You know
- 9:43Speaker 1: how many big houses is empty and feel with hate
- 9:46Speaker 1: and resentment. I'd rather have a smaller house feel with
- 9:50Speaker 1: joy in it, then to go to a big man.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Prince got a line in a song that says, I
- 9:56Speaker 1: realized in his best disguise or pretty the house don't
- 10:01Speaker 1: make her home. Man. Don't you know I know how
- 10:05Speaker 1: true that is? So I'm just trying to tell you now.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Another part of the mindset is taking dead aim at
- 10:16Speaker 1: your life's goals and ambitions. What are they? What are
- 10:20Speaker 1: your goals and your visions? What do you see for yourself?
- 10:24Speaker 1: What do you dream about? If you knew you couldn't
- 10:27Speaker 1: fail at whatever it is you were attempting, what would
- 10:29Speaker 1: you go attempting? See? That's what we need to be after.
- 10:33Speaker 1: We need to get that. If you're sitting there thinking
- 10:37Speaker 1: about it, man, it's got to be molded. This it is.
- 10:39Speaker 1: It is that the God and you crying out. That's
- 10:43Speaker 1: the seed that was planning in you. That's the gift
- 10:45Speaker 1: that's in there that's been locked away for years. It
- 10:48Speaker 1: ain't too late to open that door. Man, When is
- 10:50Speaker 1: it too late to be free? Asked Nelson Mandela when
- 10:53Speaker 1: he was alive. Nelson Mandela suffered twenty some years man,
- 10:57Speaker 1: behind the wall. When he got it out, yeah, he
- 11:03Speaker 1: was more powerful, more significant than it was before he
- 11:09Speaker 1: went in. Ain't never too late to be free. It's
- 11:13Speaker 1: a mindset. It's a mindset, y'all. It's a decision. It's
- 11:18Speaker 1: a will. It's a change of direction. It's an obligation
- 11:22Speaker 1: to yourself. It's taking dead aim at your life's visions
- 11:26Speaker 1: and goals. Come on, man, you got to get your
- 11:29Speaker 1: mind wrapped around this thing. You owe it to yourself
- 11:32Speaker 1: to live the best life you can be. Come on, man,
- 11:35Speaker 1: God didn't create you to be an inmate. What you're
- 11:37Speaker 1: sitting in there? Fall now when you make your mistaken
- 11:39Speaker 1: you do your time, and you come out. Don't let
- 11:41Speaker 1: nobody fool you. Well, I got this. I can't get
- 11:43Speaker 1: a job. I guess I gotta go do what I
- 11:45Speaker 1: gotta do. Are you stupid? For real? That's the decision
- 11:48Speaker 1: you've made. No, man, you're gonna wind up right back
- 11:51Speaker 1: in now. Come on, man, talk to God. God got
- 11:54Speaker 1: something for you. You just gotta check in with him.
- 11:56Speaker 1: You're listening to ladies and gentlemen, and I'm talking just
- 12:05Speaker 1: to the girls right now. Girls, women, grown ladies. Uh,
- 12:13Speaker 1: especially to the curvy women, especially to the straight and
- 12:20Speaker 1: narrow women and all in between. Yes, Lane, Brian Ashley Graham, Yes, Lord,
- 12:31Speaker 1: have mercy. My beloved mother, who I loved, boy after
- 12:39Speaker 1: I still to this day can tell you nobody I
- 12:44Speaker 1: felt about like I did my mama. I can. I
- 12:48Speaker 1: can't tell you nobody. I'm talking to those of the
- 12:54Speaker 1: female persuasion. Good morning morning. Ain'tybody saying nothing you Julie?
- 13:02Speaker 1: You know what I just said? He curvaceous, that's right,
- 13:07Speaker 1: hippie him a girl's clean as I saw myself. We're
- 13:17Speaker 1: gonna find out abou Junior's cleaners in a minute. What's up? Hey,
- 13:20Speaker 1: Good morning, Steve. Can I have to tell you this.
- 13:23Speaker 1: One of the funniest things my mom ever said was
- 13:26Speaker 1: she gained a few pounds. She said, well, I guess
- 13:28Speaker 1: I have eaten myself into Lane Bryant. Now got yourself.
- 13:36Speaker 1: You see what they got, and they got some fly stough.
- 13:41Speaker 1: So I appreciate that Lane Bryant comment. This morney made
- 13:44Speaker 1: me think of my mom. I've been in there, holess Bra,
- 13:52Speaker 1: not your mama voice, holess Bra. While I walked around
- 13:57Speaker 1: this stough, I hooked the straps the brawl on on
- 14:02Speaker 1: on the one of them all oh racks, and put
- 14:06Speaker 1: the other arm on the other rack and set it
- 14:09Speaker 1: in the swans while she shot. That's said in there, man,
- 14:20Speaker 1: I didn't care how long it took her. Did not
- 14:23Speaker 1: know that. Hell no, I got stumped in there. I know,
- 14:30Speaker 1: I know you ain't set your don't put on? And
- 14:39Speaker 1: how did you get up in right now? I know
- 14:41Speaker 1: that we stepped up in there with them nasty shoes.
- 14:44Speaker 1: So bad man, little boys, man, we've been getting into
- 14:48Speaker 1: some stuff. Man to. My nephew was in the store
- 14:54Speaker 1: with it one time. It was hiding in the lingerie section.
- 14:58Speaker 1: My nephew he still be hand the panis, but he
- 15:03Speaker 1: pushed his imprint in his face in the panic. Tom,
- 15:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna go boom. She hit his all the time.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Get your ways something having the penis talking about boot
- 15:19Speaker 1: I got your boo. Damn boys. When we come back, y'all,
- 15:24Speaker 1: we're gonna find out about Junior's cleans. What is he doing?
- 15:28Speaker 1: What am I doing? What are we doing to get
- 15:31Speaker 1: ready for summer? Yeah? Yeah, trying to get these bodies
- 15:35Speaker 1: together up in hill Man. All right, you heard it?
- 15:40Speaker 1: Something funny all of that. Right after this, you're listening
- 15:43Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, it's time
- 15:47Speaker 1: for something funny. I think Junior's up to Steve. You
- 15:50Speaker 1: want to know about his Junior we're doing Junior? Are
- 15:53Speaker 1: you really doing the clean I'm doing the cleans up cleans.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I'm doing cleans man, because I'm trying. You know what
- 16:02Speaker 1: we always talked about, I gotta get fit by forty.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I want to be fit. When when is your forty?
- 16:08Speaker 1: July eighteen, you'll be forty? Oh hey man, you're Winter's
- 16:15Speaker 1: birthday right there. Yeah, same day men went out the
- 16:19Speaker 1: same birthday. You're like eighteen? Do you like eighteen? Wouldn't
- 16:23Speaker 1: call mery morning? I called it? Ain't the nineteen you don't.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Oh my god, let me shut all y'all down. I
- 16:37Speaker 1: got seven kids. You know, if I got a damn,
- 16:43Speaker 1: what's the problem if I'm a day yall? When ten
- 16:45Speaker 1: is your last? What the hell? I know? Brandon coll
- 16:50Speaker 1: In the first? Yeah, it's the eighteen. It's the eight
- 16:55Speaker 1: like where he got it is? What are you gonna do? What? What? What? What?
- 17:04Speaker 1: He don't want to give it's a day later. H
- 17:08Speaker 1: I bet he get over quick to ask. My son,
- 17:13Speaker 1: Steve's birthday was the other day, April twenty nine. His
- 17:17Speaker 1: birthday was turned twenty seven. Man, okay, yeah seven. He
- 17:24Speaker 1: working every day making money. I'm so happy Jesus, and
- 17:27Speaker 1: you have to be proud of him. Yeah. Man, what
- 17:30Speaker 1: a great kid he is. He is really really good dude.
- 17:33Speaker 1: But he's in that figure it out part of his life,
- 17:36Speaker 1: you know, dudes, they gotta figure it out. He hat
- 17:38Speaker 1: quite locked in on the what he gonna be do thing.
- 17:42Speaker 1: He's still in discover He working making money, So that's
- 17:45Speaker 1: all I care about. Don't ask me for nothing much,
- 17:51Speaker 1: but don't ask me for all my kids coming from okay, Jimior,
- 17:54Speaker 1: So let's go the cleans, yes, sir, So come on,
- 17:57Speaker 1: let's go. You're gonna be fit a boy. Four. To
- 17:59Speaker 1: tell me a little bit about Okay, I'm I'm on
- 18:01Speaker 1: day folk, I'm on day were tied, Yeah, Yeah, we're tired.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I'm on the fourth day of my program too. Yeah.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I'm struggling too. I'm struggling. Let me tell you something.
- 18:13Speaker 1: No no meat, no fish, no chicken, no nothing, Just
- 18:18Speaker 1: vegetables that have to be raw, raw, nutrilsthing nuts, juices, nuts. Yeah,
- 18:25Speaker 1: that's it. It's all I can have. I'm doing green drink.
- 18:29Speaker 1: But the problem I'm having it I'm around too much food.
- 18:34Speaker 1: That's that's the hard part. I'm around too much food. Yeah,
- 18:44Speaker 1: and I'm that too. If this is the day four,
- 18:46Speaker 1: surely you've lost something because men like that. Three pounds,
- 18:50Speaker 1: I'm down three pounds. Yeah, I'm down three pounds. I
- 18:54Speaker 1: feel like I feel better. But damn it, I'm home.
- 18:58Speaker 1: That's all the bottom line. I am. Lord. I sat in.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I sat in churches yesterday just to smell chicken. But
- 19:06Speaker 1: I sat my ass in there by the hour. I'm
- 19:10Speaker 1: gonna ask you people what you get. Just tell me
- 19:15Speaker 1: what you smell? Chicken. Smell chicken. This is day four. Now,
- 19:26Speaker 1: let me in all honesty. Let's be honest, y'all. A
- 19:29Speaker 1: D Dolphins program is twenty one days. Yes, sir, you
- 19:34Speaker 1: got twenty one days to change your life. Because what
- 19:38Speaker 1: A D Dolphins did for me his program, it balanced
- 19:41Speaker 1: all my hormones because you know, when you get out older, man,
- 19:44Speaker 1: you gotta get your blood work done so you can
- 19:46Speaker 1: see your hormone levels, because your hormones changed as you
- 19:50Speaker 1: get older. And if you don't take the right things
- 19:52Speaker 1: and eat the right things and supplements to help balance, man,
- 19:55Speaker 1: something cann't be terribly off and you not know it.
- 19:59Speaker 1: And that was the one of the problems I had.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I couldn't lose weight because my estrogen levels was too high.
- 20:04Speaker 1: I didn't even know it, and my testosterone had dropped
- 20:08Speaker 1: because I'm in my sixties. So I had offset and
- 20:14Speaker 1: I got them together. Now that wanted thing to be
- 20:16Speaker 1: so funny. I'm doing UM. It's called both, but it's
- 20:27Speaker 1: called UM, not intermediate fasting, immant intimate intermittent intermittent fasting.
- 20:39Speaker 1: It's what I'm doing, which means what I'm actually doing
- 20:42Speaker 1: is I have a block of eight hours where I
- 20:46Speaker 1: can eat. I eat for eight hours, then I fast
- 20:52Speaker 1: for sixteen, you eat for eight. So my my eight
- 20:57Speaker 1: hours is twelve noon to eight at night. That's my
- 21:01Speaker 1: eight hour block of eating. And then I felt when
- 21:05Speaker 1: I'm sleep to hell, come on, now you know you
- 21:08Speaker 1: sleep that counts. But I'm up at five. So you
- 21:12Speaker 1: know my from five to noon, no eating, five am
- 21:17Speaker 1: to noon, no eating. How's it making you feel? I mean, man, like,
- 21:21Speaker 1: yesterday was my first two day show, and so it
- 21:25Speaker 1: was okay, you know what I mean, my first two
- 21:28Speaker 1: days show. I didn't have to take a five hour
- 21:30Speaker 1: energy My energy was good. And I'm drinking uh this
- 21:33Speaker 1: coffee and I drink organic coffee, but I put uh
- 21:38Speaker 1: mct oil in it, which is coconut or pure pressed
- 21:44Speaker 1: coconut oil, and it's a fact, but it gives you
- 21:46Speaker 1: a lot of energy. And then I use uh mct
- 21:50Speaker 1: brain octane so I'm not sluggish during the day. And
- 21:54Speaker 1: so it really really keeps me mentally clear. It really
- 21:58Speaker 1: really does. So I'll keep you all. I'm not gonna
- 22:01Speaker 1: wet myself for a week, though I wait a week
- 22:03Speaker 1: to wet myself. I can't get on that gale every day.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Y'all go forward, man, we gotta change my life. Man,
- 22:10Speaker 1: I'm trying to be something. Well hold up, hold up, well,
- 22:13Speaker 1: what you didn't do? Tom Man, I'm over here ovulating
- 22:17Speaker 1: right now. I can't be doing that. Hey, listen, coming up, nephew,
- 22:28Speaker 1: Tommy's run that prank back all right when it's crazy? Self?
- 22:32Speaker 1: Didn't just say? Right after this, you're listening to Steve
- 22:40Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of the
- 22:43Speaker 1: hour and entertainment news. Kanye West has a lot to say.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Oh but man, he said a lot. But come on, Tommy,
- 22:53Speaker 1: right now, it's time for run that prank back. What
- 22:55Speaker 1: you got? You married your brother. That's you need to
- 23:00Speaker 1: do something that's not gonna work, right, But okay, if
- 23:08Speaker 1: you married your breather. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 23:12Speaker 1: a your common plu. Hi Carmen. My name is Keith
- 23:16Speaker 1: Keeping some calling you from the insurance group. Hi. Good
- 23:21Speaker 1: you and your husband? Uh, what is it? Harvey Harvey?
- 23:25Speaker 1: Is that right? Okay? You guys actually put applications and
- 23:29Speaker 1: actually winn and got your physicals done for Life insurance, right, Yeah, yeah,
- 23:33Speaker 1: that's correct. Okay. I actually I'm calling you from the
- 23:36Speaker 1: insurance group. I have you alls, lab results and everything
- 23:39Speaker 1: as far as your physicals and blood tests and things
- 23:42Speaker 1: of that nature. Is there any way I could possibly
- 23:45Speaker 1: talk to both of you guys at the same time,
- 23:47Speaker 1: you and Harvey. Is that possible? Um? Well, sure, he's
- 23:50Speaker 1: at work right now, but I can get him on
- 23:52Speaker 1: the side. Okay, it will be Uh it would be
- 23:55Speaker 1: kind of easy if I kind of explained everything to
- 23:57Speaker 1: both of you guys at the same time. Is that
- 23:58Speaker 1: if that's okay? Okay? Something wrong? Uh? No, nothing's wrong.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I mean I think I need to just try to
- 24:04Speaker 1: bring a few things that you guys attention. But I
- 24:05Speaker 1: think you know, after that, it's pretty much you guys
- 24:08Speaker 1: decision on what you do. But I just wanted to
- 24:09Speaker 1: let you know a few things about you know, the
- 24:12Speaker 1: results and things that that nature, life, insurance, the whole
- 24:14Speaker 1: nine yards. Okay, okay, here hold on, let me see
- 24:18Speaker 1: talking to them on the phone. Hey, babe, Hey, sweet um, Look,
- 24:26Speaker 1: I got the insurance people on the line. They want
- 24:29Speaker 1: to get both of us on the phone, uh, to
- 24:31Speaker 1: talk to us about the insurance stuff. Hey, Harvey, are
- 24:35Speaker 1: you doing this? Is Keith keep from the insurance group?
- 24:38Speaker 1: How are you? Hey? Good with that? Nikki? Good? Good? Listen? Um.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I wanted to give you guys a call and kind
- 24:43Speaker 1: of follow up. And you guys did physicals and blood
- 24:46Speaker 1: tests and the whole nine yards, and I wanted to
- 24:48Speaker 1: give you guys a call. It's kind of better if
- 24:49Speaker 1: I talked to both of you guys at the same time. So,
- 24:52Speaker 1: do you have a minute that we can actually use
- 24:54Speaker 1: a kind of get some of this information out to you. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 24:57Speaker 1: I'm fine. I'm gonna break right now. I'm good. Okay, great.
- 25:00Speaker 1: First of all, we've gotten all your your lab results
- 25:02Speaker 1: back everything, and I kind of got a few questions
- 25:05Speaker 1: for you guys that I'm a little puzzled on. How
- 25:08Speaker 1: long have you guys actually been married. We've been together
- 25:11Speaker 1: about two years, okay, now prior to being married three years.
- 25:15Speaker 1: How long did you guys know each other before you
- 25:17Speaker 1: got married? About five and a half five six kids? Okay,
- 25:23Speaker 1: you guys have been knowing each other pretty close to
- 25:25Speaker 1: nine years now all together. Yeah, okay, are you actually
- 25:28Speaker 1: from the same hometowns? You grew up in the same hometown? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 25:33Speaker 1: we grew up. I mean, if I'm I'm sorry, is
- 25:36Speaker 1: this question I mean, is this about the insurance or well,
- 25:39Speaker 1: I mean, there's a few things. That's that actually uh puzzling, Carmen,
- 25:44Speaker 1: that we need to this this this is some I
- 25:48Speaker 1: actually didn't want to bring you, guys. I mean we
- 25:50Speaker 1: have to. I have to actually give you this news.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Looking at our records, looking at all the test results,
- 25:56Speaker 1: and let me be the first to tell you that
- 25:57Speaker 1: we run these results over and over and over, trying
- 26:00Speaker 1: to make sure we are completely a hundred and right. Okay,
- 26:05Speaker 1: it's a problem with the test. Looking at our test, guys,
- 26:08Speaker 1: it's indicating that you guys are related. And nine times
- 26:12Speaker 1: I attend you are you guys are siblings? What? Man? What?
- 26:19Speaker 1: And I understand the shot. It took me. It took
- 26:22Speaker 1: everything I had to make this phone call. I did
- 26:23Speaker 1: not want to make it. But looking at our records,
- 26:26Speaker 1: and we went over these records over and over and
- 26:29Speaker 1: and and the blow works tells us that you guys
- 26:32Speaker 1: are actually siblings. Man, help kid, Are you serious? Man?
- 26:40Speaker 1: I'm actually you do this is not that. This is
- 26:44Speaker 1: not a laughing matter, not a joking matter. You know.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Like I said, I did not want to call with
- 26:49Speaker 1: this information. What you did make the call? Man? Look,
- 26:54Speaker 1: I don't know what you needed to go back and
- 26:57Speaker 1: and and double check your records or something because you've
- 27:00Speaker 1: been married three brief check with the lab man, can
- 27:04Speaker 1: you check with the laugh and like paul us back
- 27:06Speaker 1: and I knew those questions would have come up. And
- 27:10Speaker 1: we we went over it. We went over it and
- 27:13Speaker 1: over and over it. Y'all need to go over again
- 27:16Speaker 1: because oh babe, I got this. You make the call
- 27:22Speaker 1: and this gotta be wrong. So what you need to
- 27:24Speaker 1: do is make another call and called the lab and
- 27:27Speaker 1: call us back and let us know that you either.
- 27:29Speaker 1: So they made a mistake of you talking about me
- 27:33Speaker 1: and my wife and I understanding hard, Harry. Let me
- 27:35Speaker 1: ask you this is it possible, you know? And this
- 27:38Speaker 1: is just a question. Is it possible that your dad
- 27:41Speaker 1: and maybe her mom maybe knew each other at some
- 27:44Speaker 1: point and you saying by my mom and dad, that's
- 27:49Speaker 1: so straight. Look at you need to hand go back
- 27:51Speaker 1: and do whatever you need to do. But I think
- 27:53Speaker 1: you what you said something like that again. I tell
- 27:56Speaker 1: my gy is gonna be coming down that beach saying
- 27:59Speaker 1: like that, hold on, baby, hold on baby, baby, baby.
- 28:01Speaker 1: I don't know baby, I got this, hold on, I
- 28:05Speaker 1: got a baby, I got a baby. I gotta say
- 28:07Speaker 1: how he's gonna call me with what you don't know
- 28:10Speaker 1: you from what people do like that. But that ain't
- 28:12Speaker 1: all I'm I'm doing, sirs, bringing you the result or
- 28:15Speaker 1: I should bring me results in personally that I whomp you.
- 28:19Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. He knows. Hey, sorry, even
- 28:22Speaker 1: if you beat the messenger at the end of the day,
- 28:24Speaker 1: that's still your sister. At the end of the day,
- 28:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna whanp you like. I don't care what he's
- 28:28Speaker 1: talking about. Nothing. He ain't my damn brother. I got it.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna find out you off whatever jupicle you in.
- 28:35Speaker 1: You're gonna call me talking about brother. It's my wife.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I am having that song somewhere down the line. Somebody
- 28:42Speaker 1: made a mistake and you guys, my brother and sister
- 28:44Speaker 1: got married. I'm not at fart for that. Well, let
- 28:47Speaker 1: me tell you that, don't you make the mistake of colleague.
- 28:49Speaker 1: He's on one of these numbers again in your life.
- 28:52Speaker 1: So I got one result I do need to get
- 28:55Speaker 1: you got mother, holbout what you've been talking about being well,
- 28:59Speaker 1: you got to say now that's gonna be working. The
- 29:02Speaker 1: only other touch reson I have, ma'am, is that this
- 29:04Speaker 1: is nephew, tim Me from the Steve Harby Morning Show.
- 29:07Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your girlfriend. I told you
- 29:16Speaker 1: like her. I got one thing I got to ask
- 29:26Speaker 1: both of y'all, what is the baddest And I'm talking
- 29:29Speaker 1: about the baddest radio show in the Landry more to show.
- 29:37Speaker 1: That is every now and then it happens, y'all know
- 29:40Speaker 1: it doesn't It happens sometimes. Sure, you go to the
- 29:43Speaker 1: country people. Hey to that comment you made me the
- 29:46Speaker 1: other day, which one Steve about Margine could be your brother,
- 29:51Speaker 1: my sister. Yeah, I didn't say nothing to you because
- 29:55Speaker 1: I couldn't handle it. You could do. I'm a little clear.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I just want to say that yesterday I knew how
- 30:14Speaker 1: to ended it right there? All right, big dog? All right,
- 30:23Speaker 1: thank you. Queen Elizabeth. We talked about this yesterday as well.
- 30:27Speaker 1: She may be gifting her grandson and his wife to
- 30:29Speaker 1: be with a sweet crib. We talked about maybe nicknaming
- 30:32Speaker 1: the nephew, I mean the new baby prince something like that.
- 30:41Speaker 1: But sure, Prince Harry and Megan Marco already have their
- 30:44Speaker 1: own commemorative coin. But what exactly what's different couple? Yes,
- 30:51Speaker 1: but what exactly does the queen give her grandson on
- 30:54Speaker 1: his wedding. You're right, Carla. It's being reported that Queen
- 30:58Speaker 1: Elizabeth may give Harry and Megan of her country homes
- 31:01Speaker 1: as a wedding gift. I like it. I like it.
- 31:04Speaker 1: That's a nice wedding gift right there. Prince Harry and
- 31:06Speaker 1: Megan Marko are getting married on May nineteen. Who bringing
- 31:10Speaker 1: a toast? That's what I'm saying, Well, behind give it that?
- 31:15Speaker 1: How you gonta to take so many blue plates? Office,
- 31:18Speaker 1: damn mantelpiece, been here, all these here alright? An entertainment
- 31:24Speaker 1: news whatever spoon and falk hanging on the wall. You
- 31:27Speaker 1: have to come come get some of this old mess
- 31:28Speaker 1: up out of here. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show, David.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Kanye West is still trending. People are reacting on social
- 31:39Speaker 1: media from Steve Harvey f M. Here are some of
- 31:42Speaker 1: the social media comments. Kanye West is out here saying
- 31:46Speaker 1: that slavery was a choice. How dare you trivilize our
- 31:50Speaker 1: family had a choice. We didn't have to be like
- 31:52Speaker 1: we could have been. We could do a Warker wave.
- 31:55Speaker 1: I think I think that Kanye made a mistake, that's all.
- 31:58Speaker 1: I just think I think he was trying to say
- 32:00Speaker 1: something else. I really do. I don't think he's that disconnected.
- 32:04Speaker 1: You know. I felt bad for him because Lord Emercy
- 32:07Speaker 1: knows I have said some stuff out loud that Colombia.
- 32:13Speaker 1: But you know, hey, Julior died the pageant. We've all
- 32:24Speaker 1: done it. A human hold on Junior. Yes, okay, that's
- 32:30Speaker 1: your young protege. He tried it off. Always appropriate if
- 32:34Speaker 1: you're gonna be an idiot. Always proposed he'd beat time
- 32:39Speaker 1: to it. I just you know me personally, I would
- 32:46Speaker 1: reach out to Kanye because you know, here's what we
- 32:50Speaker 1: all need, and he loves you. He was on your show,
- 32:52Speaker 1: Celebrity family feud and all that, you know, but all
- 32:56Speaker 1: of us needs somebody to run it by. All of
- 32:59Speaker 1: us need somebody to sit down and talk to. All
- 33:02Speaker 1: of us needs somebody who is willing to tell us
- 33:05Speaker 1: the truth. And sometimes, man, when you get in a
- 33:10Speaker 1: position like Kanye so high up in this world. I mean,
- 33:14Speaker 1: what what I learned was from my son and his peers,
- 33:18Speaker 1: Kanye for them was the dude man. Well just like
- 33:23Speaker 1: van On TMZ. I mean, Kanye was the dude for them.
- 33:28Speaker 1: They looked at Kanye. I mean, I mean, you know,
- 33:30Speaker 1: I mean more so than jay Z, because jay Z
- 33:33Speaker 1: is a generation ahead of him. Kanye was this year
- 33:38Speaker 1: old blockers of people. This this was they do, who
- 33:41Speaker 1: said everything they wanted to say for them, that's the
- 33:46Speaker 1: hurt in them. But I think Kanye just misspoke and
- 33:50Speaker 1: explained it so horribly wrong because and I'm gonna tell
- 33:54Speaker 1: you what happens, man, when we get in these positions
- 33:57Speaker 1: and we become these stars, so to be quote unquote,
- 34:02Speaker 1: if we don't have a core of people around us
- 34:06Speaker 1: who was saying, hey, man, wa w woa, you can't
- 34:09Speaker 1: say that dog or wo woa you trip it? Or
- 34:13Speaker 1: just what what? Whoa hold on? Man? What? What? Whoa bro?
- 34:16Speaker 1: You gotta rethink that you mean what we do to you? Yeah,
- 34:20Speaker 1: I mean exactly, But you have to have a core
- 34:23Speaker 1: of people around it who are grounded in the real
- 34:25Speaker 1: life world. See, we are stars. We get removed sometimes
- 34:31Speaker 1: from the actuality of what's happening. Now. We can we can,
- 34:34Speaker 1: we can remember it, but our day to day is
- 34:39Speaker 1: a bit different. What you cannot do in your day
- 34:42Speaker 1: today is ignore what's really happening to the grassroots people
- 34:47Speaker 1: out here, because it's way more of them than it
- 34:50Speaker 1: is of us. And without those grassroot people, you are
- 34:53Speaker 1: not who you are. And Kanye just need an older
- 34:57Speaker 1: black dude he us be black to talk and say, hey, man,
- 35:03Speaker 1: hold up, bro, this is where we are. This is
- 35:05Speaker 1: our responsibility to the cause. You're not a god. Stop
- 35:10Speaker 1: saying it. Black people ain't gonna take it that way.
- 35:13Speaker 1: You're not a god with a small G or no
- 35:16Speaker 1: other g. It don't matter. You're not. You're not on
- 35:21Speaker 1: this old another plane that ain't nobody else on unless
- 35:24Speaker 1: your ass is crazy. Everybody has been on that level
- 35:28Speaker 1: that you claim to be on by yourself. Every a
- 35:30Speaker 1: lot of people have been on that all right, Steve Well,
- 35:33Speaker 1: what we're asking people to do is go to all
- 35:35Speaker 1: social media at Steve Harvey f M if you want
- 35:38Speaker 1: to comment on Kanye and trending topics, and Steve ms
- 35:42Speaker 1: Anna is here with more of today's headlines. And before
- 35:45Speaker 1: I go to listen, if you're gonna go there, could
- 35:46Speaker 1: try to say you can say what you want to say.
- 35:48Speaker 1: You really can't, but I would love to hear people
- 35:51Speaker 1: who have some type of positive input on this issue,
- 35:55Speaker 1: just to get your thoughts too. Let's go a ladies
- 35:58Speaker 1: and gentleman, without further do miss and thanks Steve. A
- 36:01Speaker 1: lot of us know that Kanye West has not been
- 36:03Speaker 1: the same since his mother died. He was really badly
- 36:06Speaker 1: affected by that. This is and two with the news
- 36:08Speaker 1: President Trump's newest lawyer, Former New York City Mayor Giuliani,
- 36:11Speaker 1: said on Fox TV last night that the President reimbursed
- 36:14Speaker 1: his lawyer for the one thirty grand he paid out
- 36:17Speaker 1: to port star Stormy Daniels, but that the money came
- 36:19Speaker 1: from his personal account. So Giuliani says it was not
- 36:22Speaker 1: campaign money and therefore no laws were broken. You know,
- 36:25Speaker 1: at one point the President said he didn't have anything
- 36:27Speaker 1: to do with Stormy Daniels, and he said he didn't
- 36:29Speaker 1: pay any money. Is lawyers and paying any must So
- 36:31Speaker 1: now Giuliani says the money was paid reimbursed by the President,
- 36:35Speaker 1: but out of his personal account. Officially with the Puerto
- 36:37Speaker 1: Rican National Guards say that nine of their members were
- 36:40Speaker 1: killed yesterday in the crash of their cargo plane near Savannah, Georgia.
- 36:44Speaker 1: The cargo plane was over fifty years old and was
- 36:46Speaker 1: supposed to be the last flight. That's what actually they
- 36:48Speaker 1: were bringing it in for. The father one of the
- 36:51Speaker 1: young people shot to death at Florida Stoneman Douglas High
- 36:53Speaker 1: School back in February. Has filed wrongful death suits against
- 36:57Speaker 1: the alleged gunman, Nicholas Cruz, the estate of his dead parents,
- 37:00Speaker 1: the local mental health facility, and others, including the now
- 37:03Speaker 1: former sheriff's deputy Scott Peterson, who quit his job as
- 37:07Speaker 1: a school's resource officer after video showed him not even
- 37:10Speaker 1: trying to enter the school building while all the school
- 37:12Speaker 1: the shooting was going on. Andrew Pollock is the father
- 37:14Speaker 1: of eighteen year old Metal Pollock, one of these seventeen
- 37:17Speaker 1: youngsters killed on February fourteenth. Our brand new Secretary State
- 37:21Speaker 1: Mike Pompeo says there's an opportunity to change the course
- 37:24Speaker 1: of history on the Korean Peninsula if and only if
- 37:27Speaker 1: the North Koreans give up their nuclear weapons and in
- 37:29Speaker 1: a way that can be completely verified. Is certain this
- 37:32Speaker 1: administration will not repeat the mistakes of the past. Our
- 37:35Speaker 1: eyes are wide open. It's time to solve this once
- 37:38Speaker 1: and for all. A bad deal is not an option.
- 37:40Speaker 1: The American people are counting on us to get this right.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Pompeo has been laying the groundwork for President Trump's plan
- 37:46Speaker 1: meeting later this month with North Korean dictator Kim John Un.
- 37:49Speaker 1: The two black entrepreneurs arrested for sitting in the Philadelphia
- 37:52Speaker 1: Starbucks without ordering. You know that they've just released reached
- 37:56Speaker 1: rather a symbolic settlement with the City of Philadelphia for
- 37:59Speaker 1: one dollar each, with a promise that officials there will
- 38:02Speaker 1: set up a two hundred thousand dollar program to encourage
- 38:05Speaker 1: and help aspiring young business persons. Rare Shawn Nelson and
- 38:08Speaker 1: Dante Robinson also reach an undisclosed financial settlement with Starbucks,
- 38:13Speaker 1: and they'll also be able to complete their undergraduate degrees
- 38:15Speaker 1: to a Starbucks partnership with Arizona State. Finally, Today's International Sunday,
- 38:19Speaker 1: and isn't that APPROPRIATEDA done? Go back with more entertainment
- 38:24Speaker 1: in today's trending topics, trying to miss After the Hour
- 38:26Speaker 1: and Steve Harvey Morning. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 38:32Speaker 1: All right, Uncle and Nef are here with a sports
- 38:35Speaker 1: talk for today. Nef, let's go, Yeah, I didn't hire
- 38:39Speaker 1: you for sped second Shirley in college your sports Me
- 38:43Speaker 1: and Cad and kid didn't vote on you. No that
- 38:45Speaker 1: we didn't even know it was a vote. Didn't know
- 38:47Speaker 1: you had a sports but go ahead, don't because it's basketballs.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Come on, just just make them proud. Tommy, Well, first
- 38:55Speaker 1: of all, you know that let me say, let me
- 39:00Speaker 1: it jumped off with Golden State and New Orders Repelicans.
- 39:04Speaker 1: It jumped off hard Man Rondo and your boy Draymond
- 39:08Speaker 1: Green got into it, all right. It is normal, typical
- 39:12Speaker 1: thing with Draymond. You know Draymond, he gets wine when
- 39:14Speaker 1: you're out there. But um, your boy Charles Barkley says
- 39:18Speaker 1: he wishes somebody would punch him in the face talking
- 39:22Speaker 1: about Draymond Green, and this has escalated to the point
- 39:26Speaker 1: of Draymond says, Okay, we see we've seen each other
- 39:30Speaker 1: million times. Next time you see me punch me in
- 39:33Speaker 1: my face, I'll tell you, next time you see me
- 39:42Speaker 1: punch me in my face, that's that's not gonna be
- 39:45Speaker 1: a good thing for Charles to do. And I love
- 39:48Speaker 1: Charles Barkney, that's my dude, but I don't recommend punching Dreamlond.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Draymond Mama's say, you ain't been to hit my baby,
- 39:59Speaker 1: So she that's what well or well or Draymond Mama
- 40:04Speaker 1: can called Draymond can't held a Draymond only Damn and Barkley.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Barkley just being Barker. He's just talking. Yeah, he's just talking.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Draymond says, this is embarrassing for the TNT network or
- 40:21Speaker 1: you know one of your lead analysis be talking like this. Well,
- 40:24Speaker 1: I mean, of course that's not a smart thing to say.
- 40:27Speaker 1: It's really not know. I mean, you know you're on
- 40:29Speaker 1: TV and you're talking about violence in the sport that
- 40:31Speaker 1: don't condone it. And you can't hit nobody in the
- 40:34Speaker 1: face when you won't mess up your chances in the playoffs.
- 40:37Speaker 1: I got news, check us out. I got a clip
- 40:39Speaker 1: for two people. They can't win a title with. They
- 40:41Speaker 1: can't win without Draymond, they cannot win it without Steph Carrey.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Think out this clip. I've read a lot of guys
- 40:47Speaker 1: talk on TV um standing behind right phone and TV
- 40:50Speaker 1: screen factor. The matter is, if you feel that strongly
- 40:53Speaker 1: about something, he's seen me a million times. If he
- 40:55Speaker 1: feel that strongly abody, then push me in my face
- 40:57Speaker 1: when you see me. If you're not gonna push me
- 41:00Speaker 1: in my face when you it's different than somebody sitting
- 41:03Speaker 1: me hot a computer screen tweet, I'll knock you out
- 41:05Speaker 1: and you never seen him in life. Well you've seen
- 41:08Speaker 1: me a bunch's out. He'll see me again in this
- 41:09Speaker 1: pushed me in the face when you see me when
- 41:11Speaker 1: I'm not. No one cares when she would have done
- 41:13Speaker 1: you old and it is what it is. So you
- 41:16Speaker 1: ain't gonna push me when you see me. Then stop
- 41:18Speaker 1: talking about it. Alright. So coming up in about ten
- 41:25Speaker 1: minutes at thirty or four after the hour, kanye' is
- 41:28Speaker 1: LiPo suction has led to opioid addiction. That's what happened.
- 41:34Speaker 1: They didn't suck all the common sense at this sport.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Just like, that's what's wrong. Got it, girl, you're listening
- 41:42Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right? So Kanye West's
- 41:46Speaker 1: confessed to opioid addiction during his explosive interview with t MZ.
- 41:51Speaker 1: He got hooked on Perkis said following plastic surgery. He said,
- 41:55Speaker 1: Kanye told TMZ quote, I got LiPo suction. I didn't
- 41:59Speaker 1: want y'all to call me fat. Y'all have called Rob
- 42:02Speaker 1: Kardashian fat. I didn't want you to do it to me.
- 42:05Speaker 1: So I got LiPo suction and they gave me opioids.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Take a listen. Two days before I was in the hospital,
- 42:11Speaker 1: I was on opioids. I was addicted to opioids. I
- 42:16Speaker 1: had plastic surgery because I was trying to look good
- 42:19Speaker 1: for y'all. I got LiPo suction, right, and they gave
- 42:22Speaker 1: me opioids, right, And I started taking two of them.
- 42:27Speaker 1: And there was talks amongst my camp like, yeah, he's
- 42:29Speaker 1: popping days popping pill. When he handed to me this
- 42:32Speaker 1: to me said you know this is used to kill genius, right,
- 42:35Speaker 1: So I didn't take it. Two days later, I'm in
- 42:38Speaker 1: the hospital. I was taking two pills a day at
- 42:41Speaker 1: that time. When I left the hospital, how many pills
- 42:43Speaker 1: do you think? I was given seven? So the reason
- 42:46Speaker 1: why I denounced, why I dropped those tweets and everything,
- 42:49Speaker 1: because I was drugged the out bro and I'm not
- 42:53Speaker 1: drugged out. This these pills that they want me to
- 42:55Speaker 1: take three of a day, I take one a week,
- 42:58Speaker 1: maybe two a week. All had me scared of myself,
- 43:02Speaker 1: of my vision. So I took some pills so I
- 43:04Speaker 1: wouldn't go to hospital and prove everyone right. We are
- 43:07Speaker 1: drugged out, We are following other people's opinions. We are
- 43:12Speaker 1: controlled by the media, and today it all changes. Yeah. See,
- 43:18Speaker 1: if you're gonna call me fat just right after that,
- 43:22Speaker 1: because I'm not going down and they're getting no open lords,
- 43:25Speaker 1: and I'm like, I know, I ain't gonna get it.
- 43:30Speaker 1: I don't even know how to ask for it. I
- 43:33Speaker 1: like some orchids, please you, I'll give me some and see. No,
- 43:46Speaker 1: just I'm not going down. I'm not getting no damn
- 43:49Speaker 1: like pus. Just when you see me fat, you're right
- 43:52Speaker 1: after you called me fat, say rich right after that.
- 43:56Speaker 1: That's all you get. I don't give a damn man,
- 44:00Speaker 1: you know. But I feel for Kanye man. I do
- 44:02Speaker 1: because he's really man of cool dude. Man, you want
- 44:05Speaker 1: to hear it again. No, I'm gonna just reach out
- 44:07Speaker 1: to him. Yeah, No, I'm gonna reach out because he's
- 44:13Speaker 1: a man. He's really really a good brother, Kanye, I do.
- 44:18Speaker 1: I don't agree with everything he says, but I do
- 44:21Speaker 1: love him, you know, all right, Well, he admitted Kanye
- 44:25Speaker 1: did that. His temporary psychosis in two thousand sixteen happened
- 44:28Speaker 1: two days after quitting those painkillers cold Turkey. People close
- 44:32Speaker 1: to Kanye says he's talked about slavery before as a
- 44:35Speaker 1: metaphor and was un artfully expressing himself when he said
- 44:39Speaker 1: slavery was a choice. In fact, Kanye tweeted, the reason
- 44:44Speaker 1: I brought up the four hundred years point is because
- 44:49Speaker 1: because we can't be mentally imprisoned for another four hundred years,
- 44:54Speaker 1: we need free thought. Now that's what he said. He meant,
- 44:58Speaker 1: That's what he said. He meant. Yeah, yeah, he's been understood. Good.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Ye No, see the old country. You know, Look, a
- 45:15Speaker 1: couple of things have happened, and I'm just gonna have
- 45:17Speaker 1: to be honest. You can lose your moral compass in life.
- 45:23Speaker 1: When my mother and father died, I lost my moral compass.
- 45:26Speaker 1: I lost the two people I wanted to be proud
- 45:28Speaker 1: of me. It happened to Tiger Woods his father died,
- 45:32Speaker 1: that was his general doctor, dude, he wanted to be proud.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Then Tiger went off the deep end. When you lose
- 45:38Speaker 1: your moral compass, man, it can happen to you, especially dudes,
- 45:44Speaker 1: because there is a sense of discipline that goes when
- 45:47Speaker 1: those people who are your moral compass goal. That's not
- 45:50Speaker 1: making an excuse, but I promise you, man, I watched
- 45:53Speaker 1: it happen to me. I've seen it happen to a
- 45:55Speaker 1: lot of really really good dudes. Yeah, all right, well,
- 46:01Speaker 1: coming up, our very own little Kanye nephew Tommy has
- 46:05Speaker 1: a prank phone call for us. He can't make slave
- 46:09Speaker 1: slave clothes and then makes slave quotes. You just can't
- 46:14Speaker 1: say it again. You can't make slave clothes and then
- 46:18Speaker 1: make slave quotes. It just don't go together. It just
- 46:21Speaker 1: those are designer originals. Those are designer originals, nephew. Them
- 46:26Speaker 1: is burlamp looking clothes. Yes, I did, but it's from
- 46:32Speaker 1: Kanye's collection. You know, you don't sing the hun when
- 46:34Speaker 1: you see the You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 46:44Speaker 1: four minutes after it's today's Strawberry letter subject he cursed
- 46:48Speaker 1: his own mama out. But up next, Yeah, the nephews
- 46:53Speaker 1: right here with today's break phone call and her. Sometime
- 46:58Speaker 1: we get the schedule mixed up. You understand. Sometimes that happens.
- 47:01Speaker 1: It happens in everything, right, Yeah, Well, today we're having
- 47:06Speaker 1: a wedding and a funeral. Wedding and the funeral. Jesus.
- 47:13Speaker 1: What a wedding is, y'all is actually when you try
- 47:16Speaker 1: a wedding, it's when you're shredding wheat breath. Oh yeah,
- 47:22Speaker 1: and you're throwing it at people. Okay, got it running. Ryan. Hi,
- 47:30Speaker 1: I'm trying to Ryan, Ryan. How are you doing? Hey,
- 47:32Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm a second. This is Josh Josh over
- 47:36Speaker 1: at the I want to be officials at the church
- 47:37Speaker 1: where you guys are getting married tomorrow. Yeah, yeah, how
- 47:41Speaker 1: you doing? Man? They want to thank you all for
- 47:42Speaker 1: that too, man. We we'll appreciate it. Sure. Yeah. Well,
- 47:45Speaker 1: we definitely hope to make you remember here soon or
- 47:47Speaker 1: later since you guys are getting married. You know, hey, man,
- 47:51Speaker 1: you know I'm trying to get this work schedule changed up.
- 47:53Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. They got me working on
- 47:54Speaker 1: Sundays now. Man, So son I tweaked at the mood
- 47:57Speaker 1: that around a little bit. I'll be there. Okay, listen,
- 48:00Speaker 1: you have a bit of a situation has come up.
- 48:02Speaker 1: We had some problems and miscommunication and it's definitely been
- 48:06Speaker 1: on the outside. Uh. They had your name Ryan down
- 48:09Speaker 1: here with your phone number as well as you're you're
- 48:12Speaker 1: as soon to be why sonya? They had her name here,
- 48:14Speaker 1: but we didn't want to call her with this. We
- 48:16Speaker 1: wanted to just reach out and talk to you and
- 48:19Speaker 1: see if it just makes you aware of what's going on. Okay,
- 48:22Speaker 1: what's what's going on? Man, there's been a mix up
- 48:24Speaker 1: on on scheduling. I don't know if you know such
- 48:26Speaker 1: the older make she passed away a week ago and
- 48:31Speaker 1: you're not you're not a member of the church, so
- 48:32Speaker 1: you wouldn't know it. But she's one of the one
- 48:34Speaker 1: of the oldest members here at the church. Just the
- 48:36Speaker 1: older may passed away. And what's going on is you
- 48:40Speaker 1: all's wedding is tomorrow at twelve o'clock, right, but the
- 48:45Speaker 1: actual funeral is at three o'clock here at the church. Okay, uh,
- 48:51Speaker 1: but brother Josh, Josh, okay, look here, brother Josh, hey, man,
- 48:58Speaker 1: we we we already got this thing emotion, man, we
- 49:00Speaker 1: didn't stand now they have been a two hundred differentations. Man,
- 49:04Speaker 1: I mean blessed and and and and I understand that,
- 49:08Speaker 1: but but but I mean, you know she's there's no
- 49:11Speaker 1: way we could have moved it around. Now. The figure
- 49:13Speaker 1: problem the funeral home is bringing the casket first thing
- 49:16Speaker 1: in the morning. So what I want what I wanted
- 49:18Speaker 1: to make you aware of, and I didn't want you
- 49:20Speaker 1: to tell your wife this, but the actual casket will
- 49:23Speaker 1: be in the Saint you are. But we will have it.
- 49:26Speaker 1: Hold the hold of man, are you serious? I look
- 49:29Speaker 1: at y'all need the moodest round. I don't know what
- 49:31Speaker 1: y'all gonna do. Y'all have a fellowship all in the
- 49:34Speaker 1: back or something like that. Uh, Ryan. The only place
- 49:38Speaker 1: we can actually put the casket, and if we didn't
- 49:40Speaker 1: put it there is in the actual room that you're
- 49:42Speaker 1: assumed to be wife would be changing it. That's the
- 49:45Speaker 1: only place could have changed their room when they were dead. Body,
- 49:50Speaker 1: are you it wasn't that? And you know what, I
- 49:52Speaker 1: understood that. That's the first thing I thought of it.
- 49:54Speaker 1: I thought, I said, that's still put the casket away.
- 49:57Speaker 1: It goes for the funeral and we're gonna cover it up.
- 50:00Speaker 1: And see, basically you actually didn't. But I can't even
- 50:04Speaker 1: believe you can only with did man looking and excuse
- 50:07Speaker 1: my french man. Yeah, I know I need to get
- 50:09Speaker 1: back in the church, I really do. But right now, Doug,
- 50:12Speaker 1: this ain't going down like this man. We didn't already
- 50:14Speaker 1: paid the money. First First, First of all, First of all,
- 50:18Speaker 1: you know, I don't even feel like she may had
- 50:20Speaker 1: to pay, you know, to hold a wedding over at
- 50:24Speaker 1: hut Hurt where she paid times at that's that's the
- 50:26Speaker 1: first thing. You know. I ain't like that from the jumping,
- 50:28Speaker 1: but I wouldn't here to when women because she want
- 50:30Speaker 1: her pasta to marry us. And now you got to
- 50:33Speaker 1: nerd to tell me that's how we arrange something that
- 50:35Speaker 1: for funeral gonna happen the same day as my wedding
- 50:37Speaker 1: and my wife's got to get dressed in the room
- 50:39Speaker 1: with a dead body. Well, no, we're not gonna put
- 50:42Speaker 1: it in there. Bro. I was like, I say, I'm
- 50:44Speaker 1: putting that body the first thing in the morning. I'm
- 50:46Speaker 1: gonna put that body in the right there in front
- 50:49Speaker 1: of the bullpit, and we're gonna cover it. Now, what
- 50:52Speaker 1: you're getting out of is get more flowers, because there's
- 50:55Speaker 1: gonna be flowers from the funeral. So I'm thinking that's
- 50:58Speaker 1: probably gonna be a little bit of a perk point.
- 51:00Speaker 1: I just wanted you to be probably gonna be more
- 51:03Speaker 1: people than you think because some of the people that's
- 51:05Speaker 1: gonna be as your wed and it's really for the funeral.
- 51:08Speaker 1: A hold of man, are you serious? Right? And now
- 51:11Speaker 1: I mean, look at doctor. I ben't paid for the
- 51:14Speaker 1: where that happened at this church, man, Okay, ain't And
- 51:17Speaker 1: no disrespect to the lady that has passed, called blessed
- 51:20Speaker 1: her family. I ain't planning to not putting no dead
- 51:23Speaker 1: body having a funeral at my wedding. Man, that's crazy
- 51:29Speaker 1: that church to she's a member of the church too.
- 51:31Speaker 1: I don't I don't give it. I don't be no
- 51:33Speaker 1: member of the church. Man. I've been paid for this
- 51:35Speaker 1: wed and it's gonna happen tomorrow. Man, you buy six
- 51:38Speaker 1: and of putting the dead body. It's my wedding, right.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I mean, no disrespect, but the woman has passed. She
- 51:50Speaker 1: is not gonna get up. I mean, what what is
- 51:52Speaker 1: the problem. The problem is your called me with this
- 51:55Speaker 1: man the day before my wed and we didn't schedule
- 51:57Speaker 1: there six months ago. I got five thirty thousand dollars
- 52:01Speaker 1: on this wind, okay, and I'm gonna tell me that
- 52:03Speaker 1: we got to share. I will win with a funeral,
- 52:05Speaker 1: but the hellers won't with you. Man, do you want
- 52:08Speaker 1: to have your winning at this church? I'll pay for them,
- 52:12Speaker 1: which we won't. I'm having the wind, okay. I tell
- 52:14Speaker 1: you what lit there bout the bit in the morrow.
- 52:15Speaker 1: I wrote in the right out to the street, playing
- 52:18Speaker 1: things in front, and and and and throw flowers like
- 52:21Speaker 1: throwing rice. But we're gonna have a win inside the
- 52:24Speaker 1: same tier tomorrow. I promise you that I care. I care,
- 52:27Speaker 1: not assure you that there won't be I have no
- 52:30Speaker 1: other place to put the body. Okay, well i'll bet
- 52:32Speaker 1: you find someone to put it if I get that
- 52:34Speaker 1: a mark. It's about it in there. There's gonna be
- 52:36Speaker 1: a couple of boutis in there. Name. You got two
- 52:39Speaker 1: choices to move that funeral or to reimburse me back
- 52:42Speaker 1: this thirty thousand dollars out of an hour to spend
- 52:44Speaker 1: those only two choices. I want to hear about it.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Meet me at the front door to night with a
- 52:48Speaker 1: thirty thousand dollar cash your check. Always say they had
- 52:50Speaker 1: this wind up in that to morrow morning. You heard me.
- 52:52Speaker 1: I ain't playing. I ain't playing at all. No jokes.
- 52:56Speaker 1: That's wrong with y'all. Man. You can do something else,
- 52:59Speaker 1: and that I don't want to know from you. Man.
- 53:03Speaker 1: All I'm saying is it's gonna be a waiting at
- 53:06Speaker 1: this church tomorrow without saying dead about it. That's all
- 53:08Speaker 1: I'm saying. Push it to the band. Man. There's there's
- 53:12Speaker 1: one more a bit of an issue that I need
- 53:13Speaker 1: to tell you also, what can be worse than a
- 53:16Speaker 1: dead about it? What issue could be worse dead? By
- 53:18Speaker 1: that way, the man the insuance, Sir, that is worse
- 53:21Speaker 1: than the dead body heals this deal, nephew. Comment from
- 53:24Speaker 1: the Steve Harby Morning Show. Your best man, Jeff got
- 53:29Speaker 1: me the prank phone? Call you what what you know?
- 53:37Speaker 1: What made the best man about to get the best
- 53:40Speaker 1: bloop when he can possibly get? Man playing? Then God
- 53:45Speaker 1: lead the days old? Uh it is to get the
- 53:51Speaker 1: biggest beat down possible band. I'll tell you, hey, one
- 53:54Speaker 1: more question. What's the baddest radio show in the land? Ryan,
- 53:58Speaker 1: The Steve Harbor Morning Show. But there's a little mix
- 54:02Speaker 1: up on schedule, y'all understand? Yeah, wow, I got it now.
- 54:09Speaker 1: And yeah, I thought you said a wedding like a funeral,
- 54:16Speaker 1: so they all just in it. That's boy. Oh you
- 54:22Speaker 1: said that right? Yeah, alright, nephew, thank you very much.
- 54:26Speaker 1: Switching gears. Now, those earlier reports about Black China being
- 54:31Speaker 1: pregnant with her eighteen year old boyfriend, well those have
- 54:35Speaker 1: turned out to be greatly exaggerated. Uh. Black China's reps.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Her reps tells TMZ that she is absolutely not pregnant
- 54:43Speaker 1: right now. Earlier reports said that she was pregnant with
- 54:46Speaker 1: her eighteen year old boyfriend's child. She's been dating rapper
- 54:49Speaker 1: Y Being Almighty J for a few months. China has
- 54:53Speaker 1: two kids already, of course, one with Tiger and one
- 54:56Speaker 1: with Rob Kardashian Little dream. She says, you'd like to
- 55:00Speaker 1: have more kids, but not so many where she would
- 55:02Speaker 1: need to get a mini van. Okay, so she's not pregnant,
- 55:06Speaker 1: and she does want more kids, but she's not having
- 55:09Speaker 1: any right now with her eighteen year old boyfriend. He
- 55:12Speaker 1: won't need to start checking with some man these damn daddys.
- 55:16Speaker 1: But he's just eighteen. Yeah, that's why I'm saying, Yeah,
- 55:21Speaker 1: I got what you won't. And I'm talking to I
- 55:23Speaker 1: ain't talking black child. I don't know. I don't even
- 55:25Speaker 1: know who she is. You standing here, I wouldn't know. Ye.

- 56:45Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you. Here. It
- 56:46Speaker 1: is the straw Berry Letter who subject he cursed his
- 56:50Speaker 1: own mama out. Dear Stephen Shirley, I prayed and asked
- 56:54Speaker 1: God to send me a great man. It took ten
- 56:57Speaker 1: long years, but my prayers were a shirt and I
- 57:00Speaker 1: got an amazing man. We're getting married this month, but
- 57:04Speaker 1: there's just one problem. I was taught that you should
- 57:07Speaker 1: watch how a man loves and treats his mother because
- 57:10Speaker 1: it will show you what kind of man he is. Well,
- 57:13Speaker 1: I recently learned that my fiance does not respect his
- 57:16Speaker 1: mother at all. We traveled to Maryland to visit his mom,
- 57:20Speaker 1: and it was the worst visit ever. His mother was
- 57:23Speaker 1: drinking hennessy from the time we got there still three
- 57:26Speaker 1: days later when she kicked me out of the house. Yes,
- 57:31Speaker 1: she kicked me out when we first got there. She
- 57:33Speaker 1: complained that I was on my cell phone too much
- 57:36Speaker 1: because I was letting my family know we had made
- 57:38Speaker 1: it safely. Then she fussed about me taking a shower
- 57:41Speaker 1: at night and in the morning she told me to
- 57:45Speaker 1: She told me to ask permission to take additional baths
- 57:49Speaker 1: in her house. By the third day, she went off
- 57:52Speaker 1: of me for watching a live stream of my church
- 57:54Speaker 1: service back home because we missed church that day. She
- 57:58Speaker 1: yelled for me to turn that mess off or get
- 58:01Speaker 1: out of her house. That was the final straw for
- 58:04Speaker 1: my fiance. He lost it and went off on his mother,
- 58:08Speaker 1: calling her an old, hateful, drunk be I was in
- 58:12Speaker 1: shock and told him that was uncalled for. He was
- 58:15Speaker 1: very angry and told me to get my things so
- 58:18Speaker 1: we could leave. I told him that he was wrong.
- 58:21Speaker 1: He said that his mother was wrong. We left and
- 58:23Speaker 1: that was it. He hasn't spoken to his mom and
- 58:26Speaker 1: over a month now, I'm wondering if this is some
- 58:28Speaker 1: kind of character flaw he has. Will he treat me
- 58:31Speaker 1: the same way once we're married or was he just
- 58:34Speaker 1: protecting me? Well, this is definitely the opposite of a
- 58:40Speaker 1: mama's boy, okay, because you know, when you when you know,
- 58:44Speaker 1: I've heard a lot of women say that that you
- 58:46Speaker 1: watch how a man treats his mom and then that'll
- 58:49Speaker 1: tell you, you know, if he'll treat you that way. Well,
- 58:51Speaker 1: sometimes that works the opposite. Sometimes they become mama's boys.
- 58:56Speaker 1: But this is definitely not the case. But to answer
- 58:58Speaker 1: your question, I do think perhaps he was trying to
- 59:01Speaker 1: be protective of you, however crazy way he did it.
- 59:06Speaker 1: He was disgusted in his mom's behavior and he showed it.
- 59:10Speaker 1: His mother is obviously an alcoholic, and uh, their relationship
- 59:14Speaker 1: is in a very blad place because of it. Now,
- 59:17Speaker 1: Having said that, I do agree with you, calling her
- 59:19Speaker 1: a drunk b is out of line. That is uncalled for.
- 59:22Speaker 1: I don't think it was any need for him to
- 59:24Speaker 1: be so disrespectful to her or to her in front
- 59:27Speaker 1: of you. And yes, he just might have some residual
- 59:31Speaker 1: issues going on as a result of her alcoholism being
- 59:34Speaker 1: around that. UM, so you know what, I would just um,
- 59:40Speaker 1: maybe you know, make sure that he's okay, get some counseling.
- 59:45Speaker 1: I don't know if you guys have considered marriage counseling
- 59:47Speaker 1: or not, but if he does have issues, they probably
- 59:51Speaker 1: will come out during the marriage. So I definitely suggest
- 59:54Speaker 1: some counseling. I know you're getting married soon, but I
- 59:57Speaker 1: wouldn't go into it without getting some counseling. See me personally,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I don't think you have anything to worry about at all,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: because I'm gonna tell you why I feel this way.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: I have no jokes for this letter. I have something
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: to say about this letter. And this is not because
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: of my own mother, because I had what I thought
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: was the greatest mom in the world, as do most
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: people feel that way about their mother. So uh, this
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: is not from her experience, but I've watched it from
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: a distance on several people. Everybody don't get a great mother.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: H as great as your mother may have been. Everybody
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: ain't that fortune. It's mother's that give away babies. It's
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: mother's that's own drugs while they're pregnant. It's mother's that
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: neglect children. It's mother's that abused children. Everybody don't get
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: a great mother. This boy don't have a great mother. Now,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: let me tell you what happened here. Like most boys
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: wanting a relationship with their mother, most boys will go, hey, listen,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I met the girl in my dreams. Man, I'm gonna
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: take her to meet my mama. Every boy won't say
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: mother's approval of the girl that they're gonna marry. I'm
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: every dude, I know, man, he just won't that approved mama.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Look what I got, mama? What you think? So this
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: board and drugged his new fiancee to meet his mama.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: And you and you, you know, you know, you know what.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: You're pretty good? You watching services at home multiple bath dude,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you are you good in the morning and at now Yeah,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: now that's crazy to have I ain't having it at
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: you gotta ask first. But she drunk. Now, she's been
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: drinking herenessy from the time that this is not to
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: drink you want to drink. From time you get that
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: to you leave. So now he didn't got frustrated because
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: he didn't bought the girl of his dreams to meet
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: his mother, and she did her usually because this ain't
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: the first time. She didn't disappointed at this point. See
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: he ain't just fired off on the one time. This
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: has been a build up in this young guy. And
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: now here she is. See what you don't know, baby,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: is she might have missed the graduation, showed out a graduation.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: She didn't clown him and embarrassed him at the family
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: re union before. She didn't making to the games because
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: she was drinking. She didn't make a parent teacher meeting
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: on time when she spoke to because she was drinking.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: She can call down that message, little job. She forgot
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: to give a message to him one time when his
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: boss called the house. You don't know what distance stacked up.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: He ain't fired off on his mama for one time.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: This woman has disappointed this young man over and over
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: and over and over. In your visit was the last straw,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: m the last straw. I hadn't had enough for you.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Every time I try to get your approval, every time
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I bring something around you. Every time I need you
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: to be proud of me, you pull this on me,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: you old drunk. Now, he was wrong for that. He
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: was wrong for that. I'll tell you the rest of them,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: all right. We'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: up at twenty three after the hour you're listening to Steve. Well,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: in about thirty minutes, we'll have Carla's reality update. But
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: come on, Steve, let's get part two of your response
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: to today's Strawberry letter. He cursed his own mama out. See. Now,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: this girl is worried about this because she was raised
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: to think that you gotta watch how a man treat
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: his mama and then to tell you everything you need
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: to know. Normally that's true, but now listen to me.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Like I said in the beginning, everybody don't get a
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: great mother. Neglect, abuse, drugs, drinking. Everybody don't get a
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: perfect month. Most of us are fortunate, but there are
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: those who are not. So Now, he didn't got the
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: imperfect mama. Now, he didn't bought the girl of his
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: dreams over the show off like most boys do, most
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: young men. Most mama, look what I got this hug.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: I picked up boys she's so pretty. Lord, she just
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: as sweet and oh man, thank you cool. I was
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: sure hoping you say that now. Either took over that
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: and she just she just fired off on this girl.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Three days later, you get kicked out of the house.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: You know. Uh. We first got this, she complained, I
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: was on my cell phone too much because I was
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: letting your family know we had made it safely. Then
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: she first brought me taking a shower at night and
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: in the morning she told me to ask permission to
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: take additional baths in her house. What is an additional bath?
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I thought you could take as many beasts. I didn't
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: have additional but it's a new day. By the third day,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: she went off on me for watching the live stream
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: of my church service back home because we missed church
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: that day. She yelled at me to turn that mess
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: off and get out of her house. That was the
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: final straw for my fiance. He lost it, went off
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: on his mother, calling her old, hateful, drunk b I
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: was in shock and told him that was uncalled for.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: He was very angry and told me to get my
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: things so we could leave. I told him he was wrong.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: He said his mother was wrong. We left it at
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: that he ain't spoke to his mom and over mom.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: Now I'm wanting to do some kind of character flaw
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: he has. Now his character flaw is his mother because
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: she's disappointed this dude many times. This ain't the first time,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: you old, drunk, hateful b is build up from all
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: the other times he wanted to see but he wasn't
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: man enough. And now calling your mom out the name
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: don't make you a man. That's not what I'm saying.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: But he was. He he hadn't gotten to that point. See,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: you don't know about the graduation she missed at the
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: game she missed, or the parent teachers things she never
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: went to, or the PTA meeting he couldn't be in cubs. Guys,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: he had to come out of football because she kept
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: missing rehearsal, practicing. You don't You don't know what to
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: build up in. This boy has been disappointed a woman
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: many times. This ain't the first time. Now on the
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: day of days when he really wanted to show her off. Man,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: because every dude wanna take his mama. He bring up
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: there and this is what she do. This is what
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: she do. Everybody don't get to have a good mama.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: So no I think you have met a great man,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: and don't judge him for that. Everybody make mistakes that
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: he can have called his mom and apologize for calling
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: out a name because that's wrong. You're don't do that
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: to your mama. But after that his mother was wrong.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Who makes a person get out of the house to
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: take it too bad? Who don't want her son? Man?
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: A woman that watched church on TV? What drunk mom?
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: What is you crazy? Get your stuff? We leave, all right, Steve?
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: We got email us or Instagram. Who who say a
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: church music? Here running extra hot water and I'm saying
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: the church? So because you lost your math drunk mama,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: you're talking to your phone to your people talking about
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: you made it. Oh you've been to get your little
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: cute clean ass out of here. Cute clean christing up
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: in him. We was Dady broke down? All right, Steve,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: We do have to get out of here. You can
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: email us or Instagram. That's your thoughts on today's Strawberry
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Letter at my Girl Shirley and please jo me today
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: at m for the Strawberry Letter Live after show on
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Facebook Live. Okay, and Steve, please introduce our
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: girl from the talk. She is here, Steve Harvey, what
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: is going on in the world doesn't mean okay, so well, no,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: I just want to know, uh well, okay, so the
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: strawberry level, you can't wash that it up singing the
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: church record what was? Well, let me tell you something.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Then I'm gonna get put out a lot of places
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: because I prush my teeth with the water running. I
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: know I'm not supposed to do for the environment Charles's,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: but I do that. And I takes what they call,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: let me see, Tommy, what's the word for it, a
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: bath in the sink and you know we're yeah, but
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: it really as a garden to a bath. Don't even lie,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: don't deep. So I will get put out of line.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: And I love a thing church musicum when I'm taking
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: the bath because I go to Benside Baptist sermon on
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: the couch and I first take the fellowship a lot.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: But why are we talking about what other people are
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: talking about. Let's pray for Kanye West, Yes, let's pray
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: for him. Something's happening to that boy? For my five percentage?
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: They would say a simulation into the culture, But I
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: don't know what's happening to him. And I don't know
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: if y'all talked about it this way, but is anybody
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: concerned that they gave him an our platform on TMZ
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: so and Van being hurt but Van Pete speaking for
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: the people, UM, Steve and y'all talk show, right, and
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: congratulations for winning the Daytime Emmy. Congratulations, congratulations. But if
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: something yes, thank you, if something was happening, would it
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: would it have been best to cut go to commercial
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: and then go in a different direction, that was what
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: you're talking about. No, First of all, I don't know
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: if he was invited. I think he just went up. Yeah,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: so because he's Kanye, And how why would you cut
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: your camera from Kanye just walked right. You ain't even
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: got to find him at the airport on the street.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: He walked up in here. We got cameras, right, But
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: then but then I think, I guess what I'm saying
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: is once it gets to a point where you can
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: see clearly that Van is upset and and you bring
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: the other young lady. You know, a monolithic thought in
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: the black community has always been here. But we've always
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: had respect for the culture and the street to understand
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: when and where we had those conversations. All right, give
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: us ten minutes. We're gonna hold Cheryl over and continue
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: this conversation. Oh this is good. Right after this, you're
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: listening to Steve alright, we decided to keep holder over
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Cheryl Underwood. We were talking about the Kanye incident, Cheryl,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: and and what were you saying now? I was just
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: saying that the fact that uh TMZ gives our platform
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: the Kanye West and and it turns into something that
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: truly is hurting Van. But Van stepped up for the people.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: A lot of us were sped. Yes, he for him
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: to say and articulate what he felt. But I just
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: feel for Kanye is in crisis, and there's there's a
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: a simulation issue, and there's a lot of issues in this. Steve,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: what do you think about this? What do you think
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: of everything that's going on. I don't think there's anything
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: wrong with Kanye. I think what Kanye is is he's
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: insulated in his own thoughts, in his own mind. And
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I don't think that Kanye has people around him where
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: he can run stuff by and bounce it off and
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: get some real truth from. You have to have people
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: around you that that can be truthful. Hey, man, you
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: don't look good in that. Hey man, you can't say that.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Hey man, I'm not gonna let you do that. I
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: have that on this morning show and Carla will protect No,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: you can't say that. No, no, no, no, no no.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: The way Cat cut Cat Cat down the button to
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: keep stupid man from entering the air on meat needs
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: and older black man in his life that's real, that
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: will tell him the truth, older black man period. This
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: has a lot to do, see because we those of
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: us that's older. No, that's certain things you just can't say. This,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: ain't you ain't free to be free? Absolutely absolutely? Who
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: told you that? But but we're not that freedom of speech.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: They're not talking to us, that's right, they're not talking
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: to us. And and to me, that's what speaks to
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: the simulation Steve, that he is isolated and assimilated and
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: around the crowd that when you utter these things, there's nobody,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: No bro, even if you're thinking that that ain't the stands,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: That ain't what we're doing. That ain't the look we're
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: doing today. That's what I love man from TIMZ because
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: he let him know he loved he did because his dude.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: But listen to me, I love what he said too.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: After the fact, what I'm saying for my little brother
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: is he needs an older black man to put some
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: other thoughts in heads in his head of where he's headed.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Will call him Steve. I don't already reached out to
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: the contact that I have, but then surely people got
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: to listen because Steve will give some great advice. And
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: I'm not saying this the kids nothing on you, Steve.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: I'm saying it because you've done it for me. You
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: get some advice. But if you're not gonna listen, there's
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: a few people that we know of that not gonna
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: listen because you think it's either all about you and
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: your ego and your crew that's gassing you up, or
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: the people that benefit from you being a train wreck
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: at the detriment of the community to people and the
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: commerce there by the power that we can make change
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: in our communities. And nobody want to real hard versation.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: You listen, and this is about black men and mental illness.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: It's about a simulation and other people. This is about
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: also black people that are that are You think you're
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: making a conservative thought for free throught thought and love,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: but you are being used. You are being you. That's
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: why they call you what they call you. And I
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: was almost wanted them too as a Black Republican, but
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: I've I've refused to go into that place. I'm gonna
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: stay a walk and I'm gonna stay grounded with the people.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Sure you're making a statement, that's true what we cannot
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: do as black people and do not have the luxury
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: of doing. I don't care how much money we get.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: You think that we've assimilated speak steve until the other culture,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: because that's right. Let me let me help you understand
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: something very clearly started from President of don't care how
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: much money you what you think you That's right. What
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: they see when you walk in the room is the basics.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: I don't give a damn what you do. Speak. They
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: did it to President Obama, highest office in the world, right,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: and they treated him, oh man, so disrespectful because in
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: some of those people's eyes, they can never wash out
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: the fact that he black. Speak on that's number one,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: number one, that's the President of the United States, the
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: most powerful man in the world. So let's just stop.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: That's right. That's dog. You're not a god, that's right.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: I'm a damn comedian, right, ain't you ain't no? Wait, no, no, God,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: they don't need to me saying it. I would love
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: to live my life to be effective. I want to
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: be a relevant but that's all I can expect to be.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: I just want to be relevant to you know what
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: I'm saying. I want to move the needle in people's lives.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: A person, Like I said the other day, I want
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: a person to look at me and say, hey, man,
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: because of you, I didn't give up. That's right. That's right,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: that's not to my walk. That's right, that's right, that's right,
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: that's right. And sometimes we get so deep into the
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: situation to the commerce that starts, the lights, camera action,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: the platform that they give us, that what we do
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: is we walk into this pit and we start to
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: sink into it and there's nobody there that pull us out.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: And I and I believe that what we witnessed with

- 1:18:40Speaker 1: some reality TV and some scripted show. Okay, loving hip
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: hop Atlanta. Steve Many, I told you she had a
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: grandmother makeover last week. Plastic surgery had the whole night. Yeah,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: she had but done and her breast and light bo
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: and tummy tucks. Anyway, all Ernest her husband, you know,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: it looks like a k rules day rude that wait, no,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: this is serious though, this is serious about Ernest. Mamad
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: was saying that Ernest had been missing for a few days,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: you know, while she was dealing with recovering from her
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: procedure and everything. And she said that he was in
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: a hotel room and doing drugs. So Ernests, yeah, the
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: demons and his drug addiction. So there's a lot going
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: on in their marriage with Mama d and Ernest. And
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: she's said that he's had that problem before. So um, yeah,
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: so we'll be watching and you know, praying and rooting
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: for Ernest to shake those demons and get some help
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: for his addiction. Yeah. Serious moment that she uh talked about.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: So anyways, I'm how does she know what's she recovered? Now?
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: She's at home. She's back at home. Mama did is
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: back at home. All right, let's move on, dime. You
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: know she's pregnant, dime, pe, she's pregnant. Shirley and her
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: husband her fiance, they're not quite married yet. On the show, Sean,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: he used to be in the n b A and
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: so he's trying to get back in the league. So
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: he's doing a lot of training with those g leagues
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: and that means a lot of traveling and he's gone
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: a lot because he's trying to get back into the
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: n b A. And so she's kind of like just
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: dealing with this pregnancy on her own, and he's telling her,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: you need to squash your beef with your mom. You
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: need your mom down here to help you with your
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: pregnancy journey because I'm out here trying to get this
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: money and take care of the family. So that's the
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: deal with He didn't get a job carlor with the
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: Iowa g League or something, so he's going to in
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: the Minnesota Timberwolves. He's gonna be walking away from Atlanta. Yeah,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: it's a long way from Atlanta. He has to be
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: getting quote quite some time. And Kirk and Rashida, you know,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Kirk moved back into the house. Yeah, she's let him
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: move back to the house right, right, and you know
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: all the drama from last season with his affair and
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: the baby child and the baby she put up blue
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: painters tape in the house and there's parts of the
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: house that Kirk can't come in or cross those lines.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: I know, the hell you ain't in his kitchen across
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: this blue tape. Yeah, that was crazy. Yeah, I surprised
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: she let him back in. I really wasn't too, but
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: you know she talks about that was her best friend
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: and her husband and she missed him in the family.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: And again, yeah, she's beautiful, She's she's beautiful. I love her.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: She's the boss chick. But anyway, she got this blue
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: tape going down the fireplace, down the floors, a cross
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: part of the kitchen sink. So she is said one.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: But he was cool with it though he didn't put
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: up a fight, right right, He's not trying to upset
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: you know, on both sides of the fireplace. Turn on
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: your half, right, So he's trying to work things out
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: and just trying not to upset his wife and follow
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: her rules and her boundaries that she said in place
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: to let him back in the house. Rasheeda. Also, you know,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: she's doing this exercise video and you know, Kirk is
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: her manager along with being her husband, so he put
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: this deal together for her to release this exercise video.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: So she told Kirk she wanted to put her trainer
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: in the video, who's all cut and off, bit and fun,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: and she wants to put him in the exercise video. Hey, Kirk,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: ain't got what you can't do? But can't yeah, I
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: can't here button, but you know he said said hell no,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: right whatever, And that's how Rashida is exactly what Steve.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: That's how Rashida felt like, you can't be just telling
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: me what to do. With all this you've got going on.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: So you know, Kirk is like whatever, he's trying to
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: shed all that down, Kirk, take his shirt off the trainer.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: What are you working with? He took it off. That's
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: how he got the baby going up against that train
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: of shirt. You need to keep your shirt on. Bo
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: it on down somewhere. So that is Love and Hip
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: Hop Atlanta. You're updated on that show. Oh and Stevie
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: J it looks like um things his trial, his case
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: may be postponed for now, and that he is positive heal. Yeah,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: and he has a new lawyer. So we'll keep a
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: watch out and see what's happening with with Stevie Jack.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: Over a million, it's over a million. Yeah, it's a lot. Yeah,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: it's over a million. You ain't to him, I tell
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: you that. See, see what Stevie you ought to do
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: is he ought to go to the show and just
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: ask for an advance so he can avoid going to
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: prison and then just work it off. Yeah, and he
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: has a spinof shows, his own show. I mean you
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: can go to people, man that's in business with you,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: because guess what if if his spinoff can't be shot
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: from prison? See so everybody needs an opportunity to make
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: a lot of money. All the two shows they could
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: do hip hop and other one could give him five apiece,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: let him pay it off, and then he just work
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: it off. Somebody got to go in there and do
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: that deal, man, because that spinoff could be incredible. They'll
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: make more than a half a million just invest in
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: the brother the TV shows that do that. Man, I
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: didn't know they made that much. No, I'm not saying
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: that they make They don't make a million. Yeah, I'm
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: just saying you can. You can get an advance. Okay,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: work out? Okay. Well, I did want to talk to
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: you guys about the scripted TV show Blackish. It was very,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: very good on Tuesday Night. I wanna talk to you

- 1:25:37Speaker 1: I'm devastated so unscripted TV show Blackish? You know, Bo
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: and Dre Rainbow, Tracy Ellis Ross and Drenthy Anderson. They're
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: married on the show, and they are having serious issues
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: in their marriage. Intentions are very high and um, they
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: are remodeling their kitchen, so they got a contractor in
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: and they just was just arguing about every little thing.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: And so when listen to us, even if it is
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: they're real to us. They are real to us. Dre
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: and b are real to us because this is a
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: this is a great show. But what I appreciate that
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: Black is is showing that, you know, the best couples
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: have hard times and they're dealing with real life and
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: real struggle and real marriage issues. And at the end
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: of the episode, Dre moved out. He moved See Carla,
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: I was on the couch, devastated. Tasha was on the floor.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: Didn't did he move out? And did he go around?
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: My dad used to go around the cone and come back.

- 1:27:27Speaker 1: I came home and found out the whole damn family
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: was gone to seven occasions. I came home. My clothes
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: was in the swimming proof. What they wrote over blackish
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: through Oh they could have count a damn show, Steve,
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: stranger than fiction. Now you're getting sad see series? What
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: else they want to happen? We wanted to get back together.
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: They have to get together. I can't take this. What
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: about your nephew? You've been through it. I didn't left
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: and double back a few hours later and it was
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: somebody else already that I know. I didn't it thirty
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: minutes ago. The body isn't even cold yet. This was
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: like cool, all come back, man, this this this is
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: a rap? What did That's it? Give me all my

- 1:28:39Speaker 1: I could cut good back then to alright, Junior, one
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: minute you go, But he didn't want packing my stuff?
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: That wigger than I get put out? I got dropped off.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: What do you mean what she said. We was going

- 1:29:14Speaker 1: about God, we'll be back with more of the show
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the show. Well, Carla,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: you just saw a small lizard or a little geico
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: in your house. Yes, girl, I had a fit. I'm sorry,
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: I said, Geo, I know what you mean. Yeah, So
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: what happened? Now? He was crawling in the house by
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: the fireplace. Girl, I jumped on the couch because you
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: don't you don't like snakes or us. So okay, So, Steve,
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: I gotta ask you. Have you ever seen any kind
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: of lizard or getto or anything crawling and it frightened
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: you in your house or it made you scared? No,
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: I've never had lizard fighter. Now, we've been on vacation
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: and we were in Africa. As a matter of fact,
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: I had taken the family and when I say, Lizzard,
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: now listen to me. We're in Africa. Don't worry about Geko.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: That little green thing that talked on the commandery. No,
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: that ain't what had got in lloyd bathroom. Oh yeah,
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: this one had a little bit more what what you're
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: gonna do? This was This was the mama, I'm gonna
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: stomp you and then I'm gonna stomp you. It's what
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: I thought that lizard was said. So Lurid was gonna
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: take a shower. She started running the water. I don't
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: know how this big ass thing ain't got in the shower,
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: but it's probably about almost a foot loan, almost a ruler.
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: Ruler wasn't real big and heavy, but the foot long
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: with the tail there. But so she come right now,
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: we're in Africa, So now I got I ain't just
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: bust in Now. She out with the tie around her
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: in the living room in front of the whole family.
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: So we got to thank before we just running the
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: aca because this is Africa. This is do I need
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: the good? What is? Because I was thinking rhinoceros or
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: something like that, So I said Lloyd, what is it?
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: And she just shaking. Oh my god, I got that
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: I can't go that believes go get it. Well, I'm
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: not gonna go in there until I get more information. Now,
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: the people at the lodge day ain't here because we're
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: in the villa. Yeah, we probably about maybe pit the
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: yards from the main lodge. So you know, I'm sall right.
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: I'll get her to calm down. She said, I don't
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: know what it is, but it's so big and it's
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: in the shower. I knew the shower was glass. I said,
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: was it on the floor. She said it was in
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: the middle of the wall. I said, okay, I go
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: in there. I see this big ass lizard in the
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: middle of the wall. And I said that scared me too.
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: Doing something Daddy? Everybody behind me, So now I'm dad,
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: I gotta do something. So I'm looking so I then
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: I hear, don't kill it. Somebody to go. Don't kill it.
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: All the kids, don't kill it. Daddy said it free.
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: I hear you think I'm fining open up, dough. I'm
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: not opening this, damn though. You know what. We're in
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: the jungle, uh, dog, I know how to stand. If
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: I walked him out, through him outside and told all
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: the kids I let him out he gone, So you
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: just out outlied. Okay, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: Last break of the day, Steve Harvey, you are up
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: closing remarks, Let's have it. You know, normally doing closing remarks,
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: what I try to do is say something that's a
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: inspirational and uplifting. UM. I very rarely give commentary, but
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: this thing with Kanye is everywhere, and I'm hearing so
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: many attacks and so many what's wrongs and so forth
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: and so on. I just wanted to say something man that, uh,
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: it's taken me a while. Now, what I'm about to say,
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: I haven't always been this way. I'll be the first
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: to admit. And I'll also be the first to admit
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: that I can't take my own advice in every instance.
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: I'll say that too. And I'm not trying to do
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: this just to be so different from everybody else, because
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: there are a lot of people have already started saying
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: some things like I'm about to say. But I just
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: wanted to say something. You know, in this instance, I
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: choose to be forgiving. In this instance, I choose to
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: be understanding, even though whatever the statement was, it's hard
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: to understand. But It is forgivable because whatever the statement was,
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: he didn't put us here. He ain't the reason we hear.
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: He's not the reason we continue to have our problems
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: as a people. He's really not. He's not. He's one guy,
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: and the guy that he is happens to be of
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: the human nature. Forget what you're here for time. I'm
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: a god, I'm this, I'm not. No, no, no, no, no,
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: no no. He's just a guy. He's just a man
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: like all the rest of us. But if we didn't
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: follow man so closely and so hard, if we didn't
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: have man held in such high esteem, we wouldn't be
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: so affected when things like this happened. We have a God,
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: we have a Lord and savior. We have a savior.
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: It's not him. When you become famous, man, you have
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: to learn on the job. There is no school of fame. Now,
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: you can get with some people that's already famous, and
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: they can hip you to it a lot quicker. But
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: if you don't have a supporting cast around you, if
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: you don't have the people around you, man, you can
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: handle this thing a little rough. See I've said this before.
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: If you're the smartest person in your group, then you
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: need a new group. You cannot be the smartest one
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: in your group because eventually you're gonna call all the shots.
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: And nobody should be free to call all the shots
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: that affect the thoughts of so many. And what this
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: young brother said on TMZ was, man, you out here
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: saying this stuff, but we're out here trying to grapple
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: with the realness of life. And I could understand where
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: he's coming from. But before we all pounce so quickly,
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: before we all ridiculed so quickly, let's just think for
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: just a moment. Let's just think for a moment that
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: the glaring spotlight that's on this brother, Most people don't
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: ever get that glad or that same spotlight. But with
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: that glare and that spotlight, it comes a form of responsibility.
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: And until you have a support group around you, a
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: group of people who can sit around you and have
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: the strength, the wisdom and experience to tell oh, you know,
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: the wisdom, the courage, and the stript to tell you
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: you can't do that. This can get away from me.
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: And so I've chosen this time, instead of ridiculing and criticizing,
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: to be more of a calming force. That do you
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: understand that what Kanye says changes nothing for us in
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: the real scheme of things. That he is not the
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: cause of slavery, and he may have misinterpreted the definition
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: of it, but he ain't the cause of it, and
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: he ain't the reason why we still here. He can't be.
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: He can't be. What we have to do, and what
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: I choose to do is put my arm around that
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: little brother and go, yo, man, how old he is,
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: forty forty whatever, he's forty years old. I'm sixty one.
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: I got twenty one more years at this. I made
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: some huge public mistakes. I just I just I just
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: had some good people around me that put their arm
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: around me and said, hey man, that ain't the way
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: you should have did it. Now you gotta make amends.
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: You gotta straighten this out. And that's what I choose
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: to do with him. Put my arm around their little
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: brother and say, yo, my man. It's like when I
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: was getting eight alive on social media, when all you
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: when y'all was calling me coons and Uncle Tom's and
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: all this. I got a phone call from Magic Johnson,
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: and Magic Johnson said, hey man, I just felt like
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: my little brother needed a hug. And he fixed me
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: up with that hub, and so I'm gonna reach out
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: to get that brother the same hug Magic Johnson reached
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: out and gave me, because I know what it feels
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: like to be out there on that island man, when
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: everybody talking about you negatively. I know exactly what that
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: feels like from something you said publicly or did publicly
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: that they didn't agree with. I know exactly what that
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: feels like. So in this case, I choose to be
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: forgiven and understanding. Okay, So that's what I'm gonna do.
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: So just think about that. Don't hold him in such
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: high esteem that he moves the needle for you, because
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: he ain't your god. He ain't. He's really not. Drop
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: it closing, dropped the mike boy, it is okay, Okay,
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: how about that? I heard some metal good. The other
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: one was my cell phone I tried to do. For
