- 1:06Speaker 6: Love.
- 1:06Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:24Speaker 3: You gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 4: I got to turn the most turn.
- 1:43Speaker 5: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn the monica.
- 1:55Speaker 8: Come come on, you think, uh huh, I sure will
- 2:03Speaker 8: A good morning everybody. You all listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 8: come on dig me now, one and all that Steve
- 2:09Speaker 8: Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:11Speaker 6: Okay, today is simple. I want to tell you. I
- 2:18Speaker 6: want to just talk to you about effort today. Just
- 2:22Speaker 6: about effort. You know, it's it's it's it's a word
- 2:27Speaker 6: that people use to describe sometimes trying. But what I
- 2:33Speaker 6: found out about trying is trying is just a noble
- 2:37Speaker 6: way of saying you didn't get it done. I tried
- 2:43Speaker 6: when and then everybody go, well, he tried, that was
- 2:46Speaker 6: the best. Well that's that's not exactly true though, that
- 2:50Speaker 6: that's that's not exactly true. You are and I want
- 2:54Speaker 6: to talk to you about that because I don't want
- 2:57Speaker 6: you to be one of the people who just tried.
- 3:01Speaker 2: See trying, I mean I gotta tell you to attempt something.
- 3:06Speaker 6: You're gonna have to first try, but I want you
- 3:09Speaker 6: to change your mindset from trying to getting it done. See,
- 3:15Speaker 6: that's a big difference. I'm really more apt to listen
- 3:19Speaker 6: to the person that says to me, I'm gonna get
- 3:21Speaker 6: it done. I'm gonna try. What try does is it
- 3:25Speaker 6: allows you to fail. It's the person that has the
- 3:28Speaker 6: mindset that I'm gonna get it done. It's the person
- 3:32Speaker 6: who changes the complexion of things. I'm gonna get it done.
- 3:36Speaker 6: It's very different than I'm gonna try.
- 3:39Speaker 7: You know.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Look, man, I know this sounds a little.
- 3:41Speaker 6: Harsh, but you gotta stop feeding yourself these little old
- 3:46Speaker 6: wise sayings that ain't it was a valiant tried. Hey man,
- 3:51Speaker 6: you talk to anybody that took second place in the
- 3:55Speaker 6: super Bowl and see how they feel about their valiant try.
- 3:58Speaker 2: The only way to gain God's real blessings is you
- 4:05Speaker 2: have to try something.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Steve backpeddling, now, listen to me close. You have to
- 4:14Speaker 6: put forth an effort to allow God to put his
- 4:21Speaker 6: finger on something to bless on your behalf. You must
- 4:26Speaker 6: start to attempt now insaying getting it done, and I'm
- 4:31Speaker 6: gonna try.
- 4:32Speaker 2: That's a different of two different faiths.
- 4:34Speaker 7: To me.
- 4:36Speaker 6: I'm just talking about me. Now you may be different,
- 4:39Speaker 6: So I can't say this about you, but I can
- 4:42Speaker 6: say this about me. If I say I'm gonna get
- 4:46Speaker 6: it done, I have a lot of faith in it.
- 4:51Speaker 6: I am going to get it done because I just
- 4:54Speaker 6: don't see failure as an option. A lot of times
- 4:58Speaker 6: now if somebody says to me, like the Olympic team
- 5:01Speaker 6: invited me out to curl one day, which is throw
- 5:04Speaker 6: these stones on the ice. If you're not familiar with
- 5:07Speaker 6: this very simple thing, and so I said, man, I'd
- 5:12Speaker 6: like to give that a try. I went in full
- 5:17Speaker 6: well knowing I may not come away from this little
- 5:21Speaker 6: curling lesson as a person.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Who could make the Olympic team. I just wanted to.
- 5:27Speaker 6: Try it because I thought it looked cool and always
- 5:30Speaker 6: wanted to get it done. When I failed twice, I
- 5:33Speaker 6: threw a stone completely into the other lane. I lost
- 5:38Speaker 6: that little ice shoe it shot out under me. But
- 5:41Speaker 6: you know what, I kept trying though. I kept trying
- 5:46Speaker 6: until I got four of them stones in that circle
- 5:48Speaker 6: right where I aim.
- 5:51Speaker 2: But now had I given up after I failed?
- 5:55Speaker 6: After I threw that stone in the other lane, after
- 5:57Speaker 6: I shot my shoe down all the way to the
- 6:00Speaker 6: bottom side, the little ice shoe.
- 6:01Speaker 2: They give you. I never did it, but because I
- 6:05Speaker 2: was trying.
- 6:07Speaker 6: Something got me together a little bit because of my effort,
- 6:10Speaker 6: and it caused me not to fall the next time,
- 6:13Speaker 6: not to throw it in the other lane, not to
- 6:15Speaker 6: shoot my shoe to the back of the wall.
- 6:18Speaker 2: All of a sudden, my trying became something.
- 6:21Speaker 6: Now had I stayed out there and it wasn't so cold,
- 6:25Speaker 6: and I went back week after week after week after week.
- 6:29Speaker 2: I promise you.
- 6:31Speaker 6: I could get it done. I could at least know
- 6:35Speaker 6: how to compete in a game of curling. Might not
- 6:38Speaker 6: be the best. I might not win the championship, but
- 6:42Speaker 6: I could have got it done to the point where
- 6:44Speaker 6: I could have competed in a game of curling. So
- 6:46Speaker 6: sometimes if you're scared to say I'm gonna get it done,
- 6:50Speaker 6: just go out there and get started.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You know, learn from every attempt that you make.
- 6:56Speaker 6: See, don't quit writing yourself off as a failure every
- 6:59Speaker 6: time something don't go right. And when I fail on
- 7:02Speaker 6: that ice, I could have said, man, I can't curl,
- 7:05Speaker 6: but hold up, man, I'm watching four other women out here,
- 7:07Speaker 6: curl four of the dudes out here curling, little kids
- 7:09Speaker 6: out here curling. Hold up, Pardner, You know, man, So
- 7:13Speaker 6: I learned when I threw that stone on the other ice,
- 7:16Speaker 6: when I failed, when when my shoe shot off, I
- 7:20Speaker 6: learned from every attempt a.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Little bit more about it.
- 7:24Speaker 6: And then I said to myself one point in time, man,
- 7:28Speaker 6: I'm gonna get this stone in that circle. I'm gonna
- 7:31Speaker 6: get this stone in this circle. And guess what I
- 7:35Speaker 6: got it done. Now what you're saying to me, Steve,
- 7:39Speaker 6: I'm saying to you that you gotta get started. That
- 7:42Speaker 6: you got to put forth an effort. Give God something
- 7:45Speaker 6: to bless. Oh God, bless me, Oh God, bless me.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Bless you?
- 7:49Speaker 7: What?
- 7:50Speaker 2: Bless you?
- 7:50Speaker 1: Where?
- 7:51Speaker 2: Bless you?
- 7:51Speaker 7: How?
- 7:53Speaker 6: Stop basing your results on what you're thinking. You gotta
- 7:56Speaker 6: think higher. You get God in your life, man, He
- 7:59Speaker 6: allows you to think higher, bigger, better more. I'm sitting
- 8:04Speaker 6: up in my debt. I came up with a plan
- 8:06Speaker 6: to get out of debt in five years. I came
- 8:08Speaker 6: up with this plan, right, I was sitting up and
- 8:11Speaker 6: I was tripping on it.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Now.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I said, wait a minute, man, hold up, this is
- 8:15Speaker 2: what I came up with. I said, God.
- 8:19Speaker 6: Created heaven in earth, all of it, the mountains, the sky,
- 8:24Speaker 6: the valleys, the oceans, trees, the birds, the Indian Ocean,
- 8:30Speaker 6: all of it, made all of it in six days,
- 8:35Speaker 6: and then he rested on the seven. So why am
- 8:39Speaker 6: I taking to God the five year plan? If he
- 8:43Speaker 6: can create heaven and earth in six days, why am
- 8:48Speaker 6: I walking in there talking about help me in five years?
- 8:51Speaker 6: How is it gonna take God five years to getting
- 8:56Speaker 6: me out of debt?
- 8:57Speaker 2: And he made heaven and earth in six days. You
- 9:00Speaker 2: the math?
- 9:00Speaker 6: Hell, Man, I ain't that big. You ain't that big.
- 9:05Speaker 6: You ain't in that much trouble. I ain't in that
- 9:07Speaker 6: much trouble. See, God got a way of showing you
- 9:10Speaker 6: some things, man, but it's gonna take some faith, and
- 9:13Speaker 6: faith gonna take some effort on your part.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Man, get out and do something.
- 9:17Speaker 6: Man, you God will bless you a little bit and
- 9:20Speaker 6: he give you a little bit more courage, and then
- 9:22Speaker 6: all them attempts you making is gonna and all this
- 9:24Speaker 6: So I'll try.
- 9:25Speaker 2: You know what that turned into. I'm gonna get it done.
- 9:28Speaker 6: And at the end of the day, that's what you
- 9:30Speaker 6: have to do, because trying to pay your rent and
- 9:33Speaker 6: not paying your rent is two different things. You could
- 9:36Speaker 6: you can try to play your pay your rent, or
- 9:38Speaker 6: you can get it done. Now how long you think
- 9:40Speaker 6: you gonna stay in that house trying? You got to
- 9:43Speaker 6: go with the mindset of getting it done. And if
- 9:45Speaker 6: you can put some stuff out there and give God
- 9:48Speaker 6: a chance to put his finger on and bless it
- 9:49Speaker 6: for you the most stuff he can do for you.
- 9:52Speaker 6: Quit looking around at what everybody else got and gonna
- 9:54Speaker 6: get some of it for yourself.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Okay, all right, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:08Speaker 6: That's my horn voice. That's them trumpets that they play
- 10:14Speaker 6: in London somewhere. You know what I'm saying, and.
- 10:20Speaker 1: You know what we're doing.
- 10:22Speaker 6: I mean, God don't need no help, but we trumpeting
- 10:24Speaker 6: there in a new day. It deserves some trumpets. I
- 10:27Speaker 6: remember the words of a very famous person. I can't
- 10:30Speaker 6: tell that story. Let's let's go, Steve Harvey. Don't say
- 10:34Speaker 6: I was gonna tell this story about a famous person.
- 10:37Speaker 2: You mean like trumpets.
- 10:39Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, we're so glad to be here this morning.
- 10:45Speaker 6: Were tired of telling you we're glad as a matter
- 10:48Speaker 6: of fact, I'm overjoyed with the fact that I'm I'm
- 10:52Speaker 6: still here.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Oh man, oh man, oh man. Now yeah, Now, let
- 10:57Speaker 2: me tell you.
- 10:58Speaker 6: The hard part, y'all. Trusting in God to timing. That's
- 11:03Speaker 6: the hard part. That's the hard part. It ain't it
- 11:08Speaker 6: ain't nothing easy about it. I've tried to find the
- 11:11Speaker 6: easy way to trust in God's timing.
- 11:15Speaker 2: But that's hard. I ain't like my time. At some time,
- 11:20Speaker 2: I know I'm gonna have a problem with his, you know.
- 11:24Speaker 2: So that's all I'm saying.
- 11:26Speaker 6: And this is Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry, Colin
- 11:29Speaker 6: for Real, Mississippi, Monica Junior, and the Legend of Nephew
- 11:32Speaker 6: Tommy Jr. What's going on?
- 11:34Speaker 2: Many?
- 11:35Speaker 10: Uncle?
- 11:35Speaker 11: Let me let me ask you this, uncle. Uh, you've
- 11:39Speaker 11: been through so many things in your life. You've done
- 11:41Speaker 11: I can't think of how many things you've done, but
- 11:43Speaker 11: you've done a lot.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Uncle.
- 11:44Speaker 11: Everything disappointment is disappointment, Like, what's something that you really
- 11:51Speaker 11: would disappoint in yourself about?
- 11:54Speaker 12: Oh?
- 11:54Speaker 2: Myself?
- 11:55Speaker 6: Oh, I thought you were talking about my greatest disappointment.
- 11:59Speaker 6: So it's great this disappointment in myself. Well, some of
- 12:07Speaker 6: my decision making.
- 12:11Speaker 2: And really needed to read. I really didn't need to
- 12:17Speaker 2: think a little bit harder on my decision making process.
- 12:22Speaker 2: And it was so quick.
- 12:24Speaker 6: It was just so quick because I thought I was smart,
- 12:28Speaker 6: you know. So I made a lot of decisions going yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 12:31Speaker 6: I do that, do that, do that?
- 12:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I want that. I want that. Yeah, give me that,
- 12:35Speaker 2: give me that, I got it, go ahead, yeah, yeah,
- 12:38Speaker 2: take it. Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 6: Uh, my decision making process. I'm disappointed, Junior. That's a
- 12:44Speaker 6: hard question. You normally don't stop me. But I got
- 12:47Speaker 6: so many disappointments in me.
- 12:54Speaker 11: How you came back?
- 12:55Speaker 13: But but you know what it was.
- 12:57Speaker 2: I think.
- 13:00Speaker 6: My disappointment in myself became the trigger for my success.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It was when I was so sick of me. Oh
- 13:13Speaker 2: that's what it is. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, when I
- 13:16Speaker 2: got so tired of me. You have you ever been there?
- 13:20Speaker 6: You ever been tied of yourself? Man, if I don't
- 13:26Speaker 6: go somewhere and sit down. But that was the trigger
- 13:31Speaker 6: for my success. When I got sick of me.
- 13:34Speaker 7: That was it.

- 21:35Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Around the holidays,
- 21:44Speaker 1: it's hard to find the right gifts, but you know,
- 21:46Speaker 1: it's even harder getting the right gift. But get this.

- 22:15Speaker 1: In entertainment news, Real Housewives of Atlanta's Porsche Williams was
- 22:19Speaker 1: escorted off a plane in Atlanta by the cops. We'll
- 22:23Speaker 1: talk about that and churches are turning to AI and
- 22:28Speaker 1: apps to keep its church members engaged. Also, the US
- 22:31Speaker 1: Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy launched a civility campaign for airline travel.
- 22:37Speaker 1: And that is all coming up at the top of
- 22:39Speaker 1: the hour. But right now it is time to ask
- 22:43Speaker 1: the colo. This is from Avis and Birmingham. Avis writes,
- 22:48Speaker 1: My boyfriend is sensitive and can't stand it when I
- 22:52Speaker 1: tell him about things he does that annoy me. I'm
- 22:55Speaker 1: tired of sugarcoating everything and tiptoeing around his feelings. Why
- 23:00Speaker 1: can't he accept the criticism and do better?
- 23:02Speaker 4: Is that hard for men?
- 23:05Speaker 2: Well? Why don't you? Why don't you break up with it?
- 23:08Speaker 13: That what?
- 23:10Speaker 1: She just wants them to do better?
- 23:12Speaker 2: No, no, Shelly, go down the list again or stuff?
- 23:16Speaker 2: She said, go ahead read.
- 23:17Speaker 1: It, Okay, all right. She can't stand it when she

- 23:23Speaker 1: and she's tired of sugarcoating it everything and tiptoeing around
- 23:28Speaker 1: his feelings. Why can't he just accept the criticism and
- 23:30Speaker 1: do better? Is that hard for men?
- 23:32Speaker 2: How much stuff you telling him? Annoying?
- 23:38Speaker 1: Nagging him?
- 23:39Speaker 2: See, I'm telling you, man, you don't WoT this? Dude? Out.
- 23:42Speaker 6: You don't WoT this dude out. It ain't that we
- 23:45Speaker 6: can't take it, it's just how much you want us
- 23:47Speaker 6: to take. Yeah, if you steady coming to your man
- 23:51Speaker 6: with what you don't like about him, there's there's no
- 23:56Speaker 6: appreciation in that constant barrage statements. And then I'm tired
- 24:03Speaker 6: of tippy torn around him. So you just want to
- 24:05Speaker 6: crack him every time you feel like it? Okay, go ahead,
- 24:11Speaker 6: cause because let me tell you something. There's some things
- 24:13Speaker 6: about you he don't care for. I want you to

- 24:23Speaker 6: that dog at it that rabbit hole. Okay, So no, lady,
- 24:27Speaker 6: I know I don't like the way you worded your question.
- 24:30Speaker 2: So it kind of it.
- 24:31Speaker 6: Seems to be like, yeah, yeah, it just seems like
- 24:34Speaker 6: it's a lot. And why can't he take CRITICIZM? Why
- 24:39Speaker 6: man don't want to be criticized? Nobody wants that? Now
- 24:43Speaker 6: what woman you know want her man always telling her
- 24:46Speaker 6: what's wrong?
- 24:49Speaker 2: Man?
- 24:50Speaker 4: Man?
- 24:51Speaker 2: Man by hey, go get whoever gonna make you happy,
- 24:55Speaker 2: because it ain't.

- 24:59Speaker 1: Moving on to Jason and t Neck, Jason writes, I
- 25:03Speaker 1: met a gorgeous and amazing woman, and we have a
- 25:06Speaker 1: lot of chemistry. I was all in until I went
- 25:10Speaker 1: to her nasty, funky house. She had to light every like,
- 25:15Speaker 1: everything was fine? Can the good outweigh the bad in
- 25:20Speaker 1: this case? And what if I help her clean up?
- 25:24Speaker 6: I'd have been the dog I've been in that exact situation.
- 25:26Speaker 6: I was twenty two years old.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Lord, what happened? Lordiest girl was fine? She had a baby,
- 25:33Speaker 2: But I ain't.
- 25:34Speaker 1: She was fine, she had a baby.

- 25:41Speaker 6: that because I can't. I ain't fitna take care of
- 25:43Speaker 6: nobody else. But right right went over there, man, I
- 25:47Speaker 6: walked in. I couldn't believe it.
- 25:51Speaker 2: I couldn't.
- 25:52Speaker 6: The whole house was tore up from she opened up
- 25:55Speaker 6: front door. The living room was destroying.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Now.
- 26:00Speaker 2: The baby wasn't no tak to where he was running around.
- 26:03Speaker 2: He was a hot chair, baby.
- 26:06Speaker 6: Food all over the baby chair, hard food that had
- 26:10Speaker 6: been there for dishes, all in the sink. You know
- 26:16Speaker 6: how people have a pile of clothes somewhere, They were everywhere.
- 26:22Speaker 6: They was everywhere, I mean, man, clothes on the couch.
- 26:26Speaker 6: And I came in and and you know, she said,
- 26:29Speaker 6: just sit down anywhere, well where because it's something mare
- 26:37Speaker 6: where I see it's clothes on all the chairs.
- 26:40Speaker 2: Hey, man, but the warmth. The girl was so gorgeous. Man,
- 26:44Speaker 2: Lord have mercy. This girl was fine.
- 26:46Speaker 1: But that didn't turn you off though, seeing her house like.
- 26:49Speaker 2: That, Yeah, it turned me off.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Uh huh yeah, yes, tell me you to take your
- 26:55Speaker 1: clothes off in that huh clo man.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. She made me some food.
- 27:03Speaker 2: She bought it on the plate and I was.
- 27:05Speaker 6: Looking at the plate and the plate didn't look clean. No,
- 27:10Speaker 6: And I was said, but I kept looking at how fine?
- 27:12Speaker 6: She was like, you know, I'm twenty two. I'm trying
- 27:15Speaker 6: to work, Yeah, making work.
- 27:19Speaker 1: And you did you did you?
- 27:22Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 27:23Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 27:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I eat the food now. I ain't take clothes
- 27:33Speaker 2: off that night. You know, I was trying to keep it.
- 27:36Speaker 1: You went back.
- 27:38Speaker 6: Yeah, but boy, let me tell you some went upstairs.
- 27:43Speaker 6: You thought downstairs was raggedy.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Man, This girl.
- 27:53Speaker 6: Finally we had a we had, we had, we had
- 27:55Speaker 6: a conversation. I went, I went to take her to dinner.
- 27:57Speaker 6: I said, can I ask you a question? I said,
- 28:00Speaker 6: your house is always uh, it's like just a symbol
- 28:06Speaker 6: it's always stuff all over the place.
- 28:08Speaker 2: What's wrong? She says, So are you complaining? Oh?
- 28:14Speaker 1: He said, uh, and what did you say?
- 28:19Speaker 6: No, I'm just trying to do you you see see it?
- 28:24Speaker 6: Did you what you're trying to say? Now, I ain't
- 28:26Speaker 6: trying to say nothing.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Then it just it went from there, man, So she
- 28:30Speaker 2: knew it. She knew. It's no way you could not
- 28:34Speaker 2: know it.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Uh wow.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Let me tell you something.
- 28:40Speaker 6: If cell phones was out, then I'll to call somebody
- 28:43Speaker 6: and told somebody. If phone cameras was out, then I'd
- 28:49Speaker 6: have took a picture of it.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Uh huh. So, so how do you help this guy?
- 28:53Speaker 1: He says? Can the good outweigh the bad in this case?
- 28:56Speaker 1: And what if he helps her clean up?
- 29:00Speaker 2: Okay? And then when you leave, what you think?
- 29:02Speaker 4: She said?
- 29:09Speaker 2: Yeah, hey man, this is what I know right here,
- 29:11Speaker 2: me personally.
- 29:13Speaker 1: But you know for sure, Uh huh.
- 29:15Speaker 2: You have to be a clean woman.
- 29:17Speaker 6: It's just no way right now. I'm not making an
- 29:20Speaker 6: exception for that. It's just not because I'm messy, So
- 29:24Speaker 6: I ain't away hell.
- 29:26Speaker 1: But messy is not nasty and funky. Okay, he said,
- 29:30Speaker 1: I'm messy and funky.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I'm not nasty. And funky. If I'm messy though, I
- 29:33Speaker 2: lay I lay stuff down all time, Margie, get on
- 29:36Speaker 2: me all the time. Why do you just lay that there?
- 29:39Speaker 2: Because someone will pick it up?
- 29:43Speaker 1: Someone will not be me?
- 29:45Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, because.
- 29:49Speaker 7: All right.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Moving on to Ronda in Seattle. Ronda says, I'm thirty
- 29:54Speaker 1: nine and my husband is thirty two. He married me
- 29:57Speaker 1: and then realized he doesn't want kids until he's at
- 30:00Speaker 1: least thirty five years old. That won't work from my body, timeline,
- 30:05Speaker 1: How can I convince him to do this sooner? Will
- 30:07Speaker 1: he resent me if I keep pressuring him?
- 30:10Speaker 6: No, just don't have to baby, really get pregnant. He
- 30:14Speaker 6: don't want kids to he thirty something. She's seven years
- 30:17Speaker 6: old in the hill. She gonna be forty something.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Don't get prend She got o'clock to think about. Yeah, TikTok,
- 30:25Speaker 1: thank you, cel I did not want not now child.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Coming up entertainment news right after this. You're listening Harvey
- 30:34Speaker 1: Morning Show. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porscha Williams was
- 30:42Speaker 1: escorted from a flight recently by Atlanta police, and it's
- 30:46Speaker 1: unclear initially why Porsche was being questioned by the cops.
- 30:49Speaker 1: TMZ caught up with Porsche and she explained what happened.
- 30:52Speaker 1: She said the woman sitting next to her in first
- 30:55Speaker 1: class complained about the volume of her cell phone. Porsche
- 30:59Speaker 1: admitted to watching Instagram videos without headphones, and that's what
- 31:03Speaker 1: irritated the woman next to her. The woman allegedly asked
- 31:07Speaker 1: if she was going to watch the videos the entire flight.
- 31:10Speaker 1: The ladies exchanged words, but it didn't get out of hand.
- 31:14Speaker 1: While in flight. TMZ obtained video of Porsche explaining her
- 31:19Speaker 1: side of the story to the cops once she was
- 31:21Speaker 1: escorted off the plane. Who would you side with Porsiche
- 31:25Speaker 1: and her loud video or the woman sitting next to her? Interesting,
- 31:30Speaker 1: I don't have phone. Yeah, I don't understand. Yeah, the
- 31:39Speaker 1: cops called for that.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Plane.
- 31:43Speaker 1: No, but the woman said that they got into it
- 31:46Speaker 1: or something. Porsia hit her or scratched her eye or something. Yeah,
- 31:52Speaker 1: she's but but.
- 31:57Speaker 2: I don't think she's that. She's not stupid person.
- 32:00Speaker 6: No, Okay, So now is there an altercation? One thousand percent?
- 32:04Speaker 6: I've seen Housewives of Atlanta.
- 32:08Speaker 1: On a plane much less, much less.
- 32:12Speaker 2: I tell you right now, it was an altercation. Much.
- 32:18Speaker 2: You got to get some of your bullets.
- 32:20Speaker 13: Man.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Yeah, nobody wants to hear that. Yeah, all right? Wow
- 32:26Speaker 1: are you.
- 32:29Speaker 15: If I feel like it said? That's the way it
- 32:33Speaker 15: went down? Probably who you're talking to?
- 32:36Speaker 2: I turned?
- 32:36Speaker 1: Yeah, all right? Moving on. AI is being embraced by
- 32:43Speaker 1: some churches as a way to stay afloat as membership
- 32:46Speaker 1: continues to decline, as congregations shrink and pastors are stretched thin.
- 32:51Speaker 1: New apps offer personalized prayers, scripture guidance, and virtual conversations
- 32:56Speaker 1: with biblical figures. Apps like text with Jesus promised to
- 33:01Speaker 1: help you who's go on a spiritual journey and engage
- 33:04Speaker 1: in enlightening conversations with Jesus Christ.
- 33:07Speaker 7: What.
- 33:09Speaker 1: There's also an app called One Day Confess that allows
- 33:13Speaker 1: Catholics to reflect and confess their sins using AI prompts.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Do you think AI will one day replace preachers in
- 33:22Speaker 1: the pulpit?
- 33:23Speaker 7: What? Now?
- 33:25Speaker 1: That was deep? But Texting with Jesus have replaced.
- 33:30Speaker 16: If you go over to my grandmother, old true l Bethel,
- 33:33Speaker 16: somebody need to replace doctor wives.
- 33:35Speaker 11: He's still there, A man say.
- 33:38Speaker 1: You're talking about you want to get a good nap?
- 33:40Speaker 2: Go see doctor Wis.
- 33:43Speaker 1: I hope you've changed his name?
- 33:46Speaker 11: Giving them out the seat to come to that podium.
- 33:48Speaker 1: That's thirty minutes.
- 33:53Speaker 2: You ever heard of his microphone?
- 33:56Speaker 1: Take you so longley to prayer?
- 34:02Speaker 14: Is y'all easy sleep?
- 34:03Speaker 2: Is he praying?
- 34:03Speaker 5: What is he doing?
- 34:06Speaker 2: Bishop A?
- 34:06Speaker 1: I wow?
- 34:10Speaker 2: What do you think, Steve A? I guess I don't
- 34:14Speaker 2: see that happening.
- 34:15Speaker 6: But I think the decline in church attendance is just
- 34:19Speaker 6: based on what's happening in this world today.
- 34:23Speaker 2: With a lot of the ministers.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and it started during the pandemic.
- 34:28Speaker 6: So many of them are being caught being human, So
- 34:33Speaker 6: many of them are being photographed, film recorded in vulnerable times,
- 34:40Speaker 6: and it's just causing a lot of it is it's
- 34:42Speaker 6: some people bringing it on theyself, you know. You you know,
- 34:46Speaker 6: like Whinings, what's his name, Marvin Winings? He got the
- 34:50Speaker 6: whole thing came down on him because supposedly a misunderstanding
- 34:55Speaker 6: of when the lady gave the twelve hundred and it
- 34:58Speaker 6: was supposed to give you two thousand, and he checked up,
- 35:01Speaker 6: but he was checking her. You know, that went crazy,
- 35:07Speaker 6: you know. So it's just too much our sound.
- 35:10Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Social media has changed everything though, it really has, you know.
- 35:14Speaker 6: And then they take a clip of a pastor without
- 35:16Speaker 6: the whole thing, and you can't make anybody.
- 35:19Speaker 2: And they did Jesus like that.
- 35:22Speaker 6: They took some thirty second sound clips on Jesus. Yeah, yeah,
- 35:28Speaker 6: it happened to him and he was sin free. I
- 35:33Speaker 6: got so many thirty second clips.
- 35:40Speaker 1: As we head into the busiest travel season of the year,
- 35:43Speaker 1: Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is launching a new civility campaign
- 35:48Speaker 1: for airline travel. According to Fox Business, Duffy wants travelers
- 35:53Speaker 1: to quote, be nice, say please, and thank you. He
- 35:56Speaker 1: added that sometimes you just have to ask people, Hey,
- 36:00Speaker 1: let's maybe go back to an era where we didn't
- 36:02Speaker 1: wear our pajamas to the airport. Duffy's push comes as
- 36:07Speaker 1: remember those days. Duffy's push comes as FAA flight data
- 36:13Speaker 1: shows a four hundred percent increase in in flight disruption
- 36:17Speaker 1: since twenty nineteen. Duffy believes a little more kindness and
- 36:21Speaker 1: a little less sleepwear could take air travel in a
- 36:24Speaker 1: better direction. Do you agree with Duffy about wearing pajamas
- 36:29Speaker 1: to the Airport's not we need to dress.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Remember when a lot of people clap back on Monique
- 36:35Speaker 1: when she talked about the bonnets, You know, not at all.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Monique was right about that.
- 36:43Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, Monique is hundred percent correct, and she said
- 36:47Speaker 6: it in a really cool way not to be offensive, right,
- 36:50Speaker 6: but you know, man, we we got check each other.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you know.
- 36:56Speaker 15: Yeah, also too, there are a lot of Karen's and
- 36:59Speaker 15: Keyns on these flights too.
- 37:01Speaker 1: Hello, came mattson. You know, chick though, Yeah, check quickly.
- 37:09Speaker 1: I think the lady's sitting next to poor Sure was
- 37:12Speaker 1: all right? Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 37:15Speaker 1: what's the one dish you're not looking forward to at Thanksgiving?
- 37:20Speaker 1: We'll get into that right after this. You're listening Steve
- 37:24Speaker 1: Hardy Morning Show.

- 56:47Speaker 13: you here it is strawberry.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Let us thank you, nephew. Subject to my marriage or
- 56:52Speaker 1: my pleasure. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married almost twenty
- 56:56Speaker 1: years and my husband has put me in a difficult position.
- 57:00Speaker 1: When we first got together, we were swingers for a
- 57:03Speaker 1: few years. We only did it when we were on vacation,
- 57:06Speaker 1: and it was only with the couples we traveled with.
- 57:08Speaker 1: We used to have an occasional threesome. So my husband
- 57:11Speaker 1: would be happy. He would not let me bring another
- 57:14Speaker 1: man into the threesome, so he let me go have
- 57:17Speaker 1: sex with an old friend of mine a few times
- 57:19Speaker 1: over the years, but lately my husband doesn't want to
- 57:22Speaker 1: have sex at all. He said he's had enough wild
- 57:26Speaker 1: sexual experiences to last a lifetime. It's not a medical
- 57:31Speaker 1: thing because the stuff is still working properly. It's been
- 57:34Speaker 1: eight months since he's touched me, and on top of that,
- 57:37Speaker 1: he changed the rules of our marriage. He told me
- 57:40Speaker 1: that if he suspects I'm hooking up with my guy
- 57:43Speaker 1: on the side, he will leave me. I do not
- 57:46Speaker 1: like ultimatum, so I told him that I need to
- 57:49Speaker 1: be pleasured and since he's changed his outlook on intimacy,
- 57:53Speaker 1: I have to handle business elsewhere. Two days ago, after work,
- 57:58Speaker 1: I want to meet my side for drinks. We planned
- 58:01Speaker 1: to have sex after drinks, so we started fooling around
- 58:05Speaker 1: at the bar. I couldn't wait to give him a
- 58:07Speaker 1: nice long kiss. As we were kissing, my husband walked
- 58:11Speaker 1: up and asked me to leave with him. I left,
- 58:15Speaker 1: but I did not talk to him all the way home.
- 58:18Speaker 1: He has threatened to divorce me, and he said he
- 58:20Speaker 1: will say I cheated on him in the paperwork. How
- 58:23Speaker 1: can he do that when we've cheated on each other
- 58:26Speaker 1: and with each other. All of a sudden, he is
- 58:29Speaker 1: a model husband, and he's forgotten that he introduced me
- 58:33Speaker 1: to this lifestyle. I need to stay married because we
- 58:36Speaker 1: have too many assets together, but I need the D too.
- 58:41Speaker 1: What should I do here? Why?
- 58:44Speaker 7: What?
- 58:45Speaker 1: Wow? Okay? See, this is what happens when swinging and
- 58:49Speaker 1: threesomes and going outside of your marriage for sex and
- 58:53Speaker 1: all that. This is what happens when it goes bad.
- 58:57Speaker 1: One thing is true that your husband said, and that
- 59:00Speaker 1: is that he's had enough wile sex to last him
- 59:03Speaker 1: a lifetime. I believe that. I don't see how you
- 59:05Speaker 1: guys made it for twenty years doing this. But why
- 59:08Speaker 1: don't you believe him? Yes, he may have introduced you
- 59:11Speaker 1: to this lifestyle, but he says he's done with it now.
- 59:15Speaker 1: People grow, people change, people change all the time. He's
- 59:20Speaker 1: over it. The problem is there's two of you in
- 59:23Speaker 1: this marriage. He introduced you to this lifestyle, and now
- 59:26Speaker 1: he's made the decision without you to stop it. It's
- 59:29Speaker 1: good that he doesn't want to swing anymore, because maybe
- 59:32Speaker 1: your marriage has a chance to survive, although I really
- 59:35Speaker 1: don't see it at this point, because you said you
- 59:38Speaker 1: just want to stay together because you have too many
- 59:41Speaker 1: assets together. But the fact is that he doesn't want
- 59:45Speaker 1: to have sex with you anymore is definitely an issue
- 59:49Speaker 1: if you guys are going to be together. I mean,
- 59:51Speaker 1: what are you supposed to do with this new information?
- 59:53Speaker 1: And what are you supposed to do in a marriage
- 59:56Speaker 1: with no sex? So you continue to do what you've
- 59:58Speaker 1: been doing, seeing seeing your side guy, and that's what
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: he said is going to make him leave you. Now
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: he's given you an ultimatum, which you said you don't like.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: So it sounds like your husband is serious about all
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: of this. So if you don't stop having sex with
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: others and he doesn't start having sex with you again,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: your marriage, and I use that term very loosely, your
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: marriage or your version of marriage is over. So those
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: are your options. Those are your options. It's not really
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: much of a marriage anyway.
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: Steve, Well, let's comment on this raggedy letter my marriage
- 1:00:35Speaker 6: or my pleasure? Well, I don't know what to tell
- 1:00:39Speaker 6: you letter, I really don't. You've been married for almost
- 1:00:42Speaker 6: twenty years and now you saying your husband has put
- 1:00:45Speaker 6: you in a difficult situation that's really odd to you.
- 1:00:49Speaker 6: And then you start telling us how when y'all was together,
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: y'all was swingers for a few years. Really, we only
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: did it when we were all a vacation, and it
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: was only with couples we travel with.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: Why do these people be finding each other out? Is
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: it a web site?
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: Yes?
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: All of that?
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: What is going Oh?
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: Man, I ain't never what's going on? How do you
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: who introduces this to the other person? How do you
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: take this in there to your wife and go, baby,
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: I've been looking at this right here? You want to
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: try this?
- 1:01:23Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: I don't know whar these people?
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: Then she said, we used to have an occasional threesome
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: so my husband would be happy, and he would not
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: let me bring another man into the threesome. Well, I
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: mean I understand that personally, but you said something in
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: here is very telling. We used to have an occasional
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: threesome so my husband would be happy. Oh okay, okay,
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: so not the swinging wasn't enough. Let's do a threesome
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: so your husband could be happy. And he found you
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: and you married into this. So since he wouldn't let
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: you bring another man, he would let you go have
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: sex with an old friend of yours A few times
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: over the years, but lately my husband don't want to
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: have sex at all.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Let me just say this. He tied to you. He
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: tied to you, and he don't love you.
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: Any time you send your wife off to the arms
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: of another man's because you don't care nothing about her.
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: You just don't care about her. And that's the reality
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: of one of the aspects of this letter. Your husband
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: don't give it about you. I'm gonna send you off
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: to another man. I'm gonna bring another woman in here.
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: We gonna swing. I'm gonna watch another man you and
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: you watch me do another woman. Man get out of here.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, hang on. We'll have part two of
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: hour today Strawberry letter subject my marriage or my pleasure.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening

- 1:03:53Speaker 1: website and Amazon. All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject is my marriage or my pleasure?
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: A couple bit married twenty years that used to be swingers,
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: but they only did it on vacation with couples that
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: they went on vacation with. I don't know how they
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: found each other. People do it all the time, though.
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: Then he said, she said, well, you used to have
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: an occasional threesome, so my husband would be happy.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: So he need all this.
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: He to convince you to give yourself to another man
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: while y'all on vacation so he could be with another
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: woman on vacation. And now he wanted some more women
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: in here so he could be happy. But he wouldn't
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: let you bring a man in the room because now
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: it's two dudes in here, and he wouldn't let you
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: do that. But he would let you go have sex
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: with an old friend a few times over the years.
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: But lately my husband don't want to have sex at
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: all because he don't give it about you. If you
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: with the man that will let you let another man
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: have you, it's because he don't value you. There's no value.
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: I mean, I would want somebody to marry me because
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: they loved me and wanted to be with me and
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: share life with me, not share me with other people life.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: Y'all ain't got nothing here.
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: He said he had enough wild sex experiences to last
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: a lifetime.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: It's not a medical thing, because this stuff is still
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: working properly.
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: It's been eight months since he touched me, and on
- 1:05:24Speaker 6: top of that, he changed the rules of our marriage.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Or it's been eight months since he.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Touched he tied of you.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: See, he done went along with this all these years.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Now he tired of it, and he tired of you.
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: He told me that if he suspects I'm hooking up
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: with my guy on the side, he will leave me.
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: I don't like ultimatums, so I told him I need
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: to be pleasured. And since he's changed it out look
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: on intimacy, I have to handle my business elsewhere. Okay,
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: why don't y'all just get divorced. Y'all ain't had no
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: marriage and the beginning, why you call it my marriage
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: or my pleasure. It's just been a hookup for pleasure.
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: I'll just swingers or threesomes, dating apps, wild parties. Pass around,
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: y'all been passing each other around for twenty years. Two
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: days ago, after work, I went to meet my side
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: guy for drinks. We planned to have sex after drinks,
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: so we started fooling around the bar. I couldn't wait
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: to give him a nice long kiss. As we was kissing,
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: my husband walked up and asked me to leave with him.
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: Wait a minute, what see were as the police report
- 1:06:29Speaker 6: that right here? I don't understand. I walk up my
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: wife kissing the man he asked me to leave him. Well,
- 1:06:38Speaker 6: we're not finna leave him. We're not finna leave him. Well,
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: we can't go nowhere. I gotta pay for the damages.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: I got it.
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: You know when they put that yellow Tampa up, it
- 1:06:54Speaker 6: says you cannot cross it. We can't even get out
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: of here. I gotta feel out this police report. I'm
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: in the backseat of the car talking. I got to
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: go down here to this little interview room so they
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: can't talk to me downtown and he asked me to
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: leave with him, but I left, but I did not
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: talk to him all the way home. He is threatened
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: to divorce me, and he said he will say that
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: I cheated on him on the paperwork. How can he
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: do that when we've cheated on each other and with
- 1:07:30Speaker 6: each other. All of a sudden, he's a model husband
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: and he's forgot that he introduced me to this lifestyle.
- 1:07:37Speaker 6: I need to stay married because we have too many
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: assets together. But I need the D two.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: What should I do here?
- 1:07:48Speaker 6: Well, this marriage is a rapper because it never was
- 1:07:55Speaker 6: a marriage. And you're right, he introduced you to this lifestyle.
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: Now he want to change. But now you living a life.
- 1:08:02Speaker 6: This is your style?
- 1:08:04Speaker 7: This is it? Do you know?
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: In this whole letter the word love was never mentioned,
- 1:08:09Speaker 6: not one single time. Ain't nobody in love with nobody?
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: You sitting at the BARX couldn't wait to kiss this man?
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: Your husband?
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: Come up?
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: He ain't even upset. He tell you to leave with him. Hey,
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: neither one of y'all in love?
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: Wow?
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: So what you're fighting for this marriage for? Why aren't
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: you gonna be free so you can do whatever you want?
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: One of these assets is what you're talking about?
- 1:08:34Speaker 9: Right?
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: What then happened is see all this asset and set
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: all this emotion.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Come on, break it down one more time.
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: I like it.
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: I said all his assets to set all this in
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: the motion. That's what your asset and done right, y'all
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: to set the relationship on five.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: You see. So now you're talking about this, let's talk
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: about assets.
- 1:09:06Speaker 6: Four minutes like I said, all this assets to set
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: all this in motion, and y'all been passing out in sets.
- 1:09:21Speaker 6: This ain't even a good tennis match. Tennis was played
- 1:09:25Speaker 6: in sets with two people. Ain't never been three people
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: on tennis court. You gotta play doubles.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: So this is a rap. I don't really, lady.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: I can't help you.
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: Stay in the marriage. He's not having sex with you,
- 1:09:43Speaker 6: But I want you to understand something. He having sex somewhere,
- 1:09:48Speaker 6: having sex for eight months. Let me tell you that
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: right now?

- 1:14:01Speaker 20: disciplined her son too harshly. We'll get into it right
- 1:14:05Speaker 20: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:12Speaker 20: All right, this is Tony in Chesapeake.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Tony says, my fifteen year old son drove my car
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: to his girlfriend's house while I was sleep. His mom
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: called me and sent him back home. I put him
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: on punishment all weekend, in solitary confinement in his room
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: with no TV or electronics. He went to school and
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: complained of cruel and unusual punishment and said it made
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: him depressed. I got a call from his counselor with
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: that info. Was I too harsh on him?
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: Uh?
- 1:14:41Speaker 6: No, No, you got a call from another parent. He
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: then took your car without your permission, snuck over the
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: girl's house. The girl parent called. That could have led
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: to you don't know what, eighteen years of pain in
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: misery and then you I don't man quick ray in
- 1:15:00Speaker 6: these kids saw. Let me let me tell you how
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: I would have went if I'd took my daddy car
- 1:15:07Speaker 6: without permission when I was fifteen. There would be no
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: Kings of comedy that would be morning shown there. Yeah, no,
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: there would be no more. There would be nothing. Would
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: the life got into stand w we we just changed everything.
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: They were all to the course, yeah that's too much.
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: Well yeah, all right, so she wasn't too harsh on him.
- 1:15:36Speaker 6: All right, we have signed for another one.
- 1:15:39Speaker 13: Uh.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: This is from Bria and Fresno. Bria says, I have
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: ignored my husband for over a week because he didn't
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: wake me up on the day that Starbucks launched its
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: holiday collectors cups. And this is the first year I've
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: missed the launch. Not only did he make sure did
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: he not make sure I was up? He reached over
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: me and turned off my alarm. He thinks it's funny,
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: but I don't ask him for much. Why can't he
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: let me indulge in this kind of foolishness? If I
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: want to.
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: Listen to yourself, you haven't spoken to your husband in
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: over a week because he won't let you indulge in
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: this kind of foolishness.
- 1:16:23Speaker 5: Call.
- 1:16:23Speaker 6: Do you know how stupid that sound? He reached over
- 1:16:30Speaker 6: me to cut off my alarm? How hard was you
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: sleeping knowing this is the launch day?
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: Can I tell you something?
- 1:16:41Speaker 6: And how you really talking to the wrong person? I
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: have missed all of Starbucks line.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: And you love coffee.
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: I ain't about to come, I ain't got the spoon,
- 1:16:59Speaker 6: I ain't got the pepper men, candy cane, sugar pecks.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: I'm just making up stuff. I don't have none of that.
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: Don't nobody care?
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Well, the Teddy Bear cups really really are cute.
- 1:17:12Speaker 15: Yeah, I came crazy over those. Ye that's the holiday cup.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: They're so cute.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: They were so cute. People losing their minds. They don't
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: They don't let me work with Teddy Bears.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Okay they should not. Yeah, that's a great choice on
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: their parts, great decisions. You can't go to the zoo
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: and around a bear.
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: A million teddy Bear may show. I was out to
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Teddy Bear beer.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: So so you think she's being silly and and uh yeah,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: I don't.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: About caiding about that souving air cups? So get another one.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Well it's a limited just collection. Look at the see yeah,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: so she has some compassion.
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: Well how about confident?
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: I'm talking about the cup?
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: Still gonna be Christmas? Though? If you don't get to come?
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Is there more than is there more to this than
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: just the cup? And he didn't wake her and stuff?
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: Are they do?
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: You see some issues between the lines and this.
- 1:18:23Speaker 6: See she wanted them people that collect stuff that she
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: think other people care about, because when people come over,
- 1:18:28Speaker 6: they always tell me, have you seen my Starbucks cup collection?
- 1:18:32Speaker 6: And I promise you don't nobody care. Nobody care about
- 1:18:38Speaker 6: your little Starbucks cup collection, which showing me this quilt
- 1:18:43Speaker 6: you made, don't even I don't even.

- 1:25:20Speaker 1: this Friday, our last break of the day. We want
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: to thank our audience. Are devoted, lovely beautiful audience for
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: writing with us every single day. We appreciate you so much.
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: Thank you, and you know something my clothesing remarks.
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: I was kind of talking about this the other day
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: about how social media Internet doesn't promote positivity the way
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: they do negativity. You want to go viral, man, make
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: a mistake, You finna go viral, do something for mankind,
- 1:25:49Speaker 6: helpful of other people. Nobody want to hear that act
- 1:25:52Speaker 6: like they don't care. So what I wanted to say
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: to everybody out there was, let's be a part of
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: the change. Everybody that's listening listening, actively participate in changing
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: the way we do this. Start celebrating people, Start calling
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: up people telling them you love them, to tell them congratulations,
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: to cheer for to genuinely ask them how they doing
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: and if you can help them with how they doing.
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: Be a real friend and do it. Be a courageous
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: person and do it. Let's change, let's be let's be
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: an agent of change.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: Let's do that.
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: Man, we can start with ourselfs. It don't cost you
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: nothing to be kind, It don't cost you nothing to
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: do the right thing over the bad thing. It's okay
- 1:26:44Speaker 6: to post positivity on your site. Man, one time, it
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: really really ticked me off because you don't have a
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: social media team, and one of the team members have
- 1:26:54Speaker 6: put us something on Facebook that says, name a comedian
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: that you don't think is funny and why? And I
- 1:27:05Speaker 6: was just going through my day and one of my
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: kids called me and said, Dad, that don't sound like you.
- 1:27:12Speaker 6: What's happening? And I said, what they said on your site.
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: You're proposing a question to name a comedian that you
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: don't think is funny and why?
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: I said, I never said that. She said, Dad, it's
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: on your site. I called a person up to run
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: my site. Man, I talked to him, so clesey, I say,
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: don't do that. Don't do that.
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: Comedy is already hard enough. It's a hard business. What
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: you don't need is somebody like myself who has had
- 1:27:40Speaker 6: a measure of success at it, and then on here
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: listing who who ain't funny?
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: And why?
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: Man, you can you can catch anybody. Every Let me
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: tell you something about comedy. Everybody had a bad night. Well,
- 1:27:53Speaker 6: let me tell you something. All of us then had
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: a bad night where it didn't go that way. And
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: if you just happened to be there that night mad
- 1:28:04Speaker 6: and then somebody here just blowing that up. I'll give
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: you a true story about me. The first night of
- 1:28:09Speaker 6: The Kings of Comedy did not go well for me.
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: The very first night. It was in Charlotte, and it
- 1:28:17Speaker 6: just didn't go well for various reasons. My mom had
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: passed and my HBO special had came out that Tuesday. Well,
- 1:28:25Speaker 6: we performed in that Saturday, I believe, so Tuesday the
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: special came out, I was in such a mental state
- 1:28:33Speaker 6: after my mom had passed that I didn't even see it.
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: So the Kings of Comedy came out. None of us
- 1:28:41Speaker 6: knew what The Kings of Comedy was gonna be, so
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: we just went to Charlotte. We didn't know it was
- 1:28:46Speaker 6: gonna be sold out. We didn't know that they was
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: gonna fill up this arena. We didn't even know that
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: The Kings of Comedy was gonna work. So I did
- 1:28:57Speaker 6: the set that I had done all year along, because
- 1:29:00Speaker 6: I hadn't done it in Charlotte, I did my set
- 1:29:03Speaker 6: that aired on HBO that Tuesday. Everybody saw that set.
- 1:29:13Speaker 6: People's hollering out do some new jokes. We heard that already,
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: because you know comedy, you can't repeat comedy. You can
- 1:29:19Speaker 6: repeat the song, but not coming. So that first night
- 1:29:22Speaker 6: I had a bad night. One of the comedians that
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: has a radio show locally in Charlotte. Some dude named
- 1:29:29Speaker 6: asks Him or something like that. I was on the
- 1:29:32Speaker 6: airport leaving going to Kansas City the next night. Man,
- 1:29:36Speaker 6: he was on the radio and he was just dogging me.
- 1:29:38Speaker 6: I'm talking about Man, this dude was he don't deserve
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: to be a king. I don't know where this tour
- 1:29:43Speaker 6: come from, how they calling themself the Kings of Comedy.
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: But he was horrible. He didn't have a good show
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: at all.
- 1:29:50Speaker 12: Man.
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: I stayed up all night that night because that really
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: bothered me. And then I realized that I had repeated
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: the jokes for my special. So I stayed up all
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: night all day. When we got to Kansas City. We
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: was performing the next night in Kansas City, I wrote
- 1:30:04Speaker 6: a brand new show. Not that I had to write
- 1:30:08Speaker 6: them all. It's just jokes that I didn't use before.
- 1:30:11Speaker 6: There wasn't on the special. I just put them together
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: and came up with a new set. Next night, I
- 1:30:15Speaker 6: got a standing ovation. The Kings of Comedy was born,
- 1:30:19Speaker 6: and we had sold out two shows, and little we
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: know how great the Kings of Comedy was gonna be.
- 1:30:24Speaker 6: But this one dude saw me one time. Man, he
- 1:30:27Speaker 6: tried to destroyed me. That's just crazy, man. But now
- 1:30:32Speaker 6: how great the Kings were? Where was all that at?
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: But that was no social media back then either, So
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: we was just we was blowing up because we.
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: Was just them.
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: The Kings was really just them, and we got a
- 1:30:48Speaker 6: lot of credit for a long time after that and
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: we started blowing up. But now as you look at it, man,
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: people who did work didn't live in the King era.
- 1:30:57Speaker 6: They'd done forgot about it. They don't even talk about
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: us the right way. Sometimes, who was them old dudes
- 1:31:05Speaker 6: on there with them old jokes. I'll just be looking
- 1:31:09Speaker 6: at people sometimes. Let's be an agent of change. Let's
