- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out, turn the water the water. Come
- 1:57Speaker 1: come on your bat it, Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: now dig me want and only Steve Harvey got what
- 2:14Speaker 1: radio show man? What you're doing with it? Trying to
- 2:17Speaker 1: do the very very best I can with it? I
- 2:19Speaker 1: really am. You know I get tired sometimes on my journey.
- 2:24Speaker 1: I'm not gonna kid you, um. Trying to make something
- 2:28Speaker 1: about yourself is a task. If you want to attempt
- 2:34Speaker 1: to do something and and and understand going in that
- 2:40Speaker 1: that the if the thing you're trying to do is
- 2:43Speaker 1: to improve yourself, to better your position, to better your relationship,
- 2:48Speaker 1: your family, anything, you're trying to be a better you.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You're trying to make more money, you're trying to get
- 2:57Speaker 1: it together, you're trying to change if any of those
- 3:02Speaker 1: things are in your hopes and dreams. Know this right here,
- 3:08Speaker 1: you are about to face some challenges. But you might
- 3:13Speaker 1: as well go ahead anyway and face those challenges, because
- 3:17Speaker 1: if you don't, you have a whole other set of
- 3:20Speaker 1: challenges to face. You know. It's it's It's an amazing thing, man,
- 3:25Speaker 1: how people sit around and they watch other people strike
- 3:29Speaker 1: out to become successful. They sit in the stands watching
- 3:32Speaker 1: these people play out these games, and they and they
- 3:36Speaker 1: and they criticize, They boo, they laugh at their efforts
- 3:39Speaker 1: and everything, and they talk about the fairies. He missed
- 3:43Speaker 1: that game when it shot. Boy, he sucked. Man, he
- 3:46Speaker 1: did this. He ain't worth that. I hear people who
- 3:50Speaker 1: sit and stands who criticize people who are out there
- 3:55Speaker 1: on the playing field. Now, when you're on the plane,
- 4:00Speaker 1: feel you have a set of challenges in front of you.
- 4:03Speaker 1: You're going to be open to criticism. You're going to
- 4:07Speaker 1: be open to ridicule. You're going to be talked about
- 4:11Speaker 1: when you don't know the people who are talking about you.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Now here's the upside to being the player on the
- 4:22Speaker 1: field that's facing all the challenges, to criticisms, the laughing,
- 4:26Speaker 1: the joke, to being talked about. He has something going
- 4:31Speaker 1: for him. This person, boy, woman, child, girl, man has
- 4:38Speaker 1: an opportunity to win. They have an opportunity to win.
- 4:45Speaker 1: And then the game of life. Just because you lose
- 4:50Speaker 1: one of the games, or you lose one of the matches,
- 4:54Speaker 1: it don't mean you've lost. You don't get put out.
- 4:57Speaker 1: You keep playing. And when you're playing, here's the upside.
- 5:03Speaker 1: You have the opportunity to win. And but guess what,
- 5:06Speaker 1: You're gonna win some of the matches. You're gonna win
- 5:08Speaker 1: some of the points. You're gonna make some of the dunks.
- 5:10Speaker 1: You're gonna hit some of them over the wall. You're
- 5:12Speaker 1: gonna hit some of them out the park. You're gonna
- 5:14Speaker 1: score some goals. You will if you're playing the game.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Here's the problem with the people who don't face criticism,
- 5:25Speaker 1: who nobody boos or cheers for, who sits in the
- 5:29Speaker 1: stands and knows neither victory nor defeat. Those people, without
- 5:38Speaker 1: realizing it, are facing a set of challenges also. And
- 5:43Speaker 1: the challenges they're facing is how I'm gonna live with myself?
- 5:49Speaker 1: What I'm gonna do? Now? What direction am I going in?
- 5:57Speaker 1: Where am I gonna live? Wonder what job will hire me.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Wonder if I can get paid for criticizing all woe
- 6:10Speaker 1: is me. I can't find the purpose in my life.
- 6:16Speaker 1: And man, I'm just waking up in a state of confusion.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I don't know what to do. Now, let me ask
- 6:22Speaker 1: you something which one of them said, of challenges you
- 6:25Speaker 1: rather be faced with. Because if I'm on the flow playing,
- 6:29Speaker 1: if I'm on the field playing, if I'm out on
- 6:32Speaker 1: the court playing, then guess what I got a chance
- 6:36Speaker 1: at winning? But guess what I'm doing every day while
- 6:39Speaker 1: I'm playing. I'm strategizing. I'm waking up with a purpose.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I'm waking up trying to come up with another angle.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I'm in pursuit of a goal every single day. Versus
- 6:54Speaker 1: the people in the stands who know neither victory nor defeat.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Get in the game. Face the challenges. Better yourself, better
- 7:09Speaker 1: your wife, better your children, better your condition, better your
- 7:11Speaker 1: employment status, better your job, better your career. Take a shot.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Come on, man, what you're waiting on? Because the alternative
- 7:19Speaker 1: is to watch other people play the game? You know
- 7:23Speaker 1: what I just do? Sometimes Sometimes I just I get
- 7:27Speaker 1: Forbes magazine or Money magazine, or sometimes I still grab
- 7:31Speaker 1: a copy of Rob report. I just flipped through it
- 7:35Speaker 1: just to see get I used to get these this
- 7:37Speaker 1: book called Unique Homes. Unique Homes is a magazine that
- 7:41Speaker 1: just has a lot of extravagant houses that's on sale
- 7:45Speaker 1: across the country, across the world. I used to flip through. Man,
- 7:49Speaker 1: let me just see, man, what the people that's playing
- 7:52Speaker 1: the game out there doing. Stop watching other people become
- 7:56Speaker 1: successful when you could very easily be you if you
- 8:00Speaker 1: make the decision. But when you make the decision to
- 8:03Speaker 1: become successful, get ready for a series of challenges. I
- 8:07Speaker 1: think it's more difficult not to accept the challenge. I
- 8:12Speaker 1: think it's for me. This is just for me. It
- 8:14Speaker 1: may not be the case for you. For me, I
- 8:16Speaker 1: think it's far more difficult to wake up and just
- 8:18Speaker 1: see how life gonna go today, because man, it could
- 8:21Speaker 1: just deal you any kind of hand today. You understand,
- 8:27Speaker 1: I don't like, you know, spades. Let's talk a card game, folks,
- 8:32Speaker 1: the game of spades. Really, man, it ain't a whole
- 8:34Speaker 1: lot you can do if you don't get no spades. Really,
- 8:38Speaker 1: it's a little couple of little strategies you're gonna do.
- 8:40Speaker 1: But you can have all this age King Queen Diamond
- 8:43Speaker 1: all you want, But man, you ain't got no spades.
- 8:45Speaker 1: They're cutting them. You're in trouble. Be it whist different game.
- 8:49Speaker 1: You can create what's in your hand. You got dealt
- 8:53Speaker 1: a hand too, But you can create a hand. You
- 8:56Speaker 1: can call a trump. You can make diamonds your spades.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You can make it hard to clubs your spades. That's
- 9:02Speaker 1: what I'm saying. That's what it is. You can do
- 9:04Speaker 1: something with it. It's a different game, man. You can strategize.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I would rather have a say so in my life
- 9:10Speaker 1: than to wake up every day and just see how
- 9:12Speaker 1: it's going. I think it's more difficult to not accept
- 9:16Speaker 1: the challenge to be something than it is to accept
- 9:19Speaker 1: the challenge to be something. I think it's more difficult
- 9:22Speaker 1: to sit around and not be nothing. I think it's
- 9:24Speaker 1: harder to watch everybody's life going somewhere but mine. I
- 9:28Speaker 1: think it would be very difficult for me to sit
- 9:30Speaker 1: here and hear them talking about other people and never
- 9:33Speaker 1: mention my name. I would be difficult for me to
- 9:35Speaker 1: see everybody rise and getting promotions accept me. That would
- 9:39Speaker 1: be difficult for me. It may not be for you,
- 9:42Speaker 1: but for me it would be quite challenging. I would
- 9:44Speaker 1: rather accept the challenge of making something out of my
- 9:47Speaker 1: life than to sit there and criticize those and then
- 9:51Speaker 1: watch and see how my life just may go. Okay,
- 9:55Speaker 1: that's a thought. Today you're listening, ladies and gentlemen, man,
- 10:03Speaker 1: have your attention, please, Steve Harvey Morning show us Underweight.
- 10:06Speaker 1: I am your fearless leader, your aprimonius, your guak quarious

- 12:15Speaker 1: You know what they call is al Rod Smith taught
- 12:17Speaker 1: me that's one of the greatest radio dudes in the business.
- 12:20Speaker 1: What's up, al Roy? If you're out there, somebody no
- 12:22Speaker 1: ele road tell him Steve Harvey shouting him mouth this morning.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Al Roy is the reason I'm in radio today. Al
- 12:28Speaker 1: Roy was the first one to discover it that this
- 12:31Speaker 1: guy should be doing radio. H L. Rod Smith. I'm
- 12:37Speaker 1: talking to people who don't know. Y'all always tell me
- 12:39Speaker 1: to explain that. Al Roy Smith actually taught me how
- 12:44Speaker 1: to do radio, to put it into some type of structure.
- 12:49Speaker 1: I wasn't instructured, but he told me you're effective on
- 12:53Speaker 1: radio because you're compelling. I didn't know what that meant,
- 12:57Speaker 1: so I asked it. He said, you are must heal radio.
- 13:04Speaker 1: People tune in because they don't want to miss nothing.
- 13:06Speaker 1: You got to say. He said, that's compelling radio, and
- 13:10Speaker 1: the great ones are compelling that. He's said, if you
- 13:14Speaker 1: want to do this for a living, stay compelling. So
- 13:17Speaker 1: what I just did this morning, that was hell you
- 13:22Speaker 1: I learn something what did you learn, Junior, Well have nothing?
- 13:26Speaker 1: Find out that that opened was compelling coming out more
- 13:31Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 13:34Speaker 1: listening to show. All right, Steve up first your nephew
- 13:41Speaker 1: with this segment of famous people as verbs. So you
- 13:45Speaker 1: gotta explain what that is. We don't know. What I'm
- 13:48Speaker 1: saying is there's a lot of people that's verbs, not
- 13:51Speaker 1: like okay, and name most of them a fame Like

- 14:20Speaker 1: it's definitely me called you're verb too, your uncle. Yeah. Yeah,
- 14:26Speaker 1: Like if you to Steve Harvey, to Steve Harvey somebody,
- 14:32Speaker 1: that means you ton hung out with somebody white that
- 14:36Speaker 1: black people didn't like that. Hell you this Steve Harvey
- 14:43Speaker 1: tells you're doing over there with Ryan Steve hard You
- 14:49Speaker 1: see how that go? They are verbed? Now, yeah, I
- 14:55Speaker 1: know you didn't. Michael vict me baby sitting my what
- 15:03Speaker 1: famous people they are verbs. They are verbs. I'll be
- 15:08Speaker 1: damn if he didn't get if he didn't owe Jay
- 15:11Speaker 1: up any him to get out Scott free. When your
- 15:15Speaker 1: ass is guilty, he didn't owe Jay up him. Now
- 15:20Speaker 1: look here here go when you need to remember. To
- 15:24Speaker 1: Kevin Hart, somebody, Okay, that means it wouldn't mean killed
- 15:35Speaker 1: get me, but it wouldn't mean right now here go
- 15:40Speaker 1: here go a triple one. This wistless knife, roun eyes
- 15:45Speaker 1: and DM you know what that means that when you
- 15:50Speaker 1: ain't paying your tax? Hell, you ain't wistless NiFe. You
- 15:54Speaker 1: know what I'm saying this like that? Now to Jada Pickett, somebody,

- 16:05Speaker 1: you're doing a Jada picking Come on, come on, I
- 16:08Speaker 1: mean straight up crazy. You act like you don't understand that.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I think everyone is very uncomfortable with. Yeah, well, let
- 16:18Speaker 1: me gonna take a stab and then I'm gonna calling Kaepernick.
- 16:21Speaker 1: This is yeah. Looking. Next time y'all want a day off,
- 16:31Speaker 1: just pull the timing comme. Yeah, you could claim that
- 16:42Speaker 1: your your damn ragged was on the side of the road.
- 16:52Speaker 1: All you can pull another time. You can call in sick.
- 16:56Speaker 1: But then send the video your damn family in the backyard.
- 17:02Speaker 1: That was stupid. I can't make it here video, all right,
- 17:11Speaker 1: I think we get it, famous people, it's verbs now,
- 17:13Speaker 1: all right, thank you, nephew Brown. Leave one show and
- 17:18Speaker 1: go to a better show. I'm believing. I'm believing. All right. Well,
- 17:31Speaker 1: you know you know it continues on the show. It
- 17:34Speaker 1: never stops. So now it's time lower the lights, please,
- 17:37Speaker 1: ladies and gentleman. Time for Junior's poetry hours. Just say
- 17:42Speaker 1: this this poem right here, Yeah, forget that. The point
- 17:48Speaker 1: of the poem is it's getting close to going back
- 17:52Speaker 1: to school, right yeah. And everybody that's uncles don't get
- 17:56Speaker 1: appreciated because we help. I got a seventeen year old
- 18:01Speaker 1: nephew dessed back to be in the same grade with
- 18:04Speaker 1: the fourteen year old. He didn't call me. You don't
- 18:08Speaker 1: say that on the air. Hold on, hold on, first
- 18:12Speaker 1: of all, God, hold on, what you want what you
- 18:16Speaker 1: want me to act like? It ain't okay? My people,
- 18:20Speaker 1: they know you want to act like he's a scholar,
- 18:22Speaker 1: because not, right, should I be shamed of the fact
- 18:25Speaker 1: that what he wanta do not a fourteen year old
- 18:29Speaker 1: didn't damn Niver caught the seventeen ye old, but I
- 18:32Speaker 1: didn't think it was gonna happen, but nor they won.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Great a pause, This is like that now, I mean,
- 18:38Speaker 1: would he go in the classroom they think the teacher
- 18:40Speaker 1: didn't walk then all I'm saying what I just saying.
- 18:47Speaker 1: He asked me for some stuff, and I just wanted
- 18:50Speaker 1: to let him know this. Now. The name of the
- 18:52Speaker 1: poem is I'm just Huncle. Yeah, I'll go, hey, hey
- 18:59Speaker 1: hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey,
- 19:01Speaker 1: I'm just Huncle. Stop asking me for cash, Okay, because
- 19:05Speaker 1: when I help you out, you don't do another walk
- 19:08Speaker 1: in the other room and just talk trade, go bag
- 19:11Speaker 1: your mom and your daddy because they the one that had.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Because I'm just Huncle, I can do all I can do.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Now that I know you're going back to school and
- 19:19Speaker 1: you like new stuff, but I'm living out here in
- 19:22Speaker 1: La Ridden highs. Hell man, it's even rough. Now. I'm
- 19:26Speaker 1: not trying to be mean because I really do love
- 19:29Speaker 1: you with all my heart, but I'm gonna get a
- 19:32Speaker 1: jump on this. I'm gonna say no before you even start.
- 19:35Speaker 1: I'm just hungay. That's all I can do. That was
- 19:40Speaker 1: called the style conversation. That's what you're doing. You're sitting
- 19:45Speaker 1: there looking for rhymes. That's no rhymes. He ain't got
- 19:49Speaker 1: to be. It was called this. You don't you have
- 19:54Speaker 1: different styles. This was called the style of conversation. I
- 19:57Speaker 1: don't know what I wasn't talking to him. I don't
- 20:02Speaker 1: This is style confusion. It was Donald Trump, do you
- 20:09Speaker 1: have do you have? Do you have any kids? Asking you? Yeah?
- 20:15Speaker 1: Just fother But this was the style of t style
- 20:21Speaker 1: car I created it. We know that you listen to
- 20:25Speaker 1: the most del This was just most deaf. Why would
- 20:30Speaker 1: I go listen to most most most deafening? The next
- 20:35Speaker 1: one the style of conversation style you made up? All right,
- 20:42Speaker 1: we gotta go, we'll be back. You're listening show. It
- 20:48Speaker 1: is time for Reverend Motown and Deacon Deaf jam with
- 20:51Speaker 1: today's church complaints. Oh lord, I forgot hold on, let
- 21:04Speaker 1: me get my voice? Uh time passing? I don't heal
- 21:07Speaker 1: the proper voice. Hold on, Yeah, you gained so many voices.
- 21:12Speaker 1: You are right. I'm a game show becoming my better judge.
- 21:19Speaker 1: All right, we we we heal for this ratchetness of
- 21:27Speaker 1: complaintress and confusionality from a congregation that is unbthetically, and
- 21:37Speaker 1: I say that humbly right, as recently heard her say,
- 21:46Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, the most ungrateful congregation of all time,
- 21:53Speaker 1: headed up by what used to be my main man,
- 21:57Speaker 1: I becon death, Jim, you falling off with these complaints.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Go ahead, Dee, I thought I was still your main man,
- 22:07Speaker 1: all right. You the only deacon I got age of
- 22:10Speaker 1: church when we tried to bring in add Nord. But
- 22:15Speaker 1: can't nobody staying his voice. It's the breathing. It's not
- 22:19Speaker 1: the Varne's so damn aggravating. It's just like him though
- 22:26Speaker 1: he's here if you need him well, when you know,
- 22:29Speaker 1: matter of fact, I will talk to add Nord a
- 22:31Speaker 1: little later on discussing things with you. Go ahead, all right,
- 22:37Speaker 1: pass it out here. We have brother Jabber Jill Jenkins
- 22:41Speaker 1: got his last tooth removed last week. He's asking as
- 22:45Speaker 1: the church by him a blender and a life supply
- 22:49Speaker 1: of strills. As you know, three years ago he was
- 22:52Speaker 1: caught with brother Lena Getwine's wife and lost out his
- 22:55Speaker 1: teeth except one. That one just got removed a couple
- 22:59Speaker 1: of weeks ago. So I blender in lifetime supply of
- 23:04Speaker 1: straws is what he's asking. We're not going to be
- 23:09Speaker 1: able to do that, Joe. Yeah, had he kept his
- 23:17Speaker 1: jabber in his pants, we wouldn't have this situation. All right,
- 23:25Speaker 1: I'm moving right along now that weed has become legal
- 23:31Speaker 1: in some states past that we now have a group
- 23:33Speaker 1: that wants to develop a weed ministry. They called themselves
- 23:37Speaker 1: High Hopes. They want you to approve the ministry and
- 23:41Speaker 1: give them full range to turn the basement into a greenhouse.
- 23:46Speaker 1: What we're not an allowing passed in disbasement of the
- 23:55Speaker 1: large house. The industry is making a lot of money.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Just so you know, well, I understand that now we
- 24:02Speaker 1: do have a lot this empty behind the chi that
- 24:07Speaker 1: I strongly suggest we go out there and fitch in
- 24:12Speaker 1: and provide a deacon to watch it as soon as
- 24:17Speaker 1: the Valientine boys find out if we downhill here didn't come,
- 24:24Speaker 1: so I suggest that they weed ministry use the the
- 24:30Speaker 1: lot bit right behind the church. All right, I want
- 24:33Speaker 1: to let everyone in High Hopes, no that behind it,
- 24:37Speaker 1: I got it. I passed the Kirk Franklin and Fred
- 24:42Speaker 1: Hammond have a movie coming out called Big Spirit, Little Spirit. Um.
- 24:47Speaker 1: They will be they would like to feel some of
- 24:49Speaker 1: the scenes here at the church. It's scheduled to hit
- 24:52Speaker 1: Netflix October twenty eighteen. Side note, they got ten million
- 24:57Speaker 1: apiece for the pitch. Well, we're gonna need a piece
- 25:00Speaker 1: of that ten million to film. Hell, oh, we're gonna
- 25:04Speaker 1: need a full, full reciprocity for that also if we
- 25:10Speaker 1: expect the donation or reciprocity. But we're gonna expect the
- 25:14Speaker 1: donation from Little Kirk and Big Fred some kind for that.
- 25:22Speaker 1: How much you think we could get deacon and a piece.
- 25:28Speaker 1: I mean, if we get ten percent from each one

- 33:47Speaker 1: be slick if we could play the Willie Turner bit.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I was thinking your closing remarks too, was your introduction
- 33:53Speaker 1: to Christ? That was good. Let's play Willie. If we

- 48:53Speaker 1: We don't country. You know what I'm saying. Hang it
- 48:56Speaker 1: on here, Richie. You got something. Here's country of music.
- 48:59Speaker 1: I have no problem with country music. It's just that
- 49:01Speaker 1: we have a full horn section, which doesn't really work.
- 49:05Speaker 1: We country music, you know what I'm saying. We play
- 49:07Speaker 1: R and D. It's not our genre. Well, I got
- 49:11Speaker 1: what you ushould doing. But if I don't hear uh,
- 49:17Speaker 1: let me see your girner old by Cole Swing. They
- 49:20Speaker 1: didn't didn't that. It ain't gonna work for me. I
- 49:24Speaker 1: gotta get man, I gotta get slow burned by Tim Heats.
- 49:28Speaker 1: I gotta get all my rowdy friends with coming over by.
- 49:32Speaker 1: I ain't Williams. I mean that, y'all. You know what
- 49:34Speaker 1: Waity Waite, white white white, Karvin over at the bank
- 49:37Speaker 1: is telling many that you guys can say anything in
- 49:40Speaker 1: the world. I know you ain't telling meny that. Kevin's line,
- 49:45Speaker 1: I mean, he's maybe he should have told you explicitly
- 49:47Speaker 1: what we do and what we play. You know what
- 49:49Speaker 1: I'm saying, I've never met any matter of my life,
- 49:52Speaker 1: I'm playing Palm playing Guard Brooks, Chris Stapleton, Jason now
- 49:56Speaker 1: Name Brooks and Duns Blake Shelton, Cole Swing Day, Lady,
- 50:01Speaker 1: Ain't you don't sit here and tell me you can't
- 50:04Speaker 1: play none of these songs. I want you to get
- 50:07Speaker 1: on the stage and sing these songs that we won't.
- 50:10Speaker 1: We ain't got time to find another group. Everybody. I
- 50:14Speaker 1: don't feel about your stupid party. You know what I'm saying.
- 50:17Speaker 1: You came to us to play music, and then we
- 50:20Speaker 1: told you what we do. Right now, you know, right now,
- 50:24Speaker 1: I feel like I feel like we had a standoff
- 50:26Speaker 1: and the Okakerrald, all right, all right, let me let
- 50:33Speaker 1: me talk to my band, all right, because this is going.
- 50:35Speaker 1: This is going unnecessary too far. You know what I'm saying.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Maybe we can make it work. All right, let me
- 50:40Speaker 1: let me add you something is Drey the bass player? Yeah? Correct? Okay,
- 50:46Speaker 1: can I tell you something about Drey? What about them? Tree?
- 50:51Speaker 1: Got me to plank phone call you? This is nephew
- 50:54Speaker 1: taught me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Baby, you
- 50:57Speaker 1: just got pranked by your boy in the bad Drake. Okay,
- 51:10Speaker 1: I gotta ask you something, man, what is the baddest
- 51:12Speaker 1: and I mean the badest radio show in the land,
- 51:16Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yeah, I'm just saying I don't
- 51:26Speaker 1: want to know. If I'm starting out right now, we're
- 51:28Speaker 1: going to run. I'm well into it. It's stupid. That's
- 51:31Speaker 1: all I need. Brother, All right, coming up next, my

- 52:21Speaker 1: We got a strawberry letter subject her Mama and Daddy
- 52:25Speaker 1: gets to go. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a forty one
- 52:29Speaker 1: year old married man. My wife and I have been
- 52:32Speaker 1: married for nineteen years. We've also been living with her
- 52:35Speaker 1: parents for the entire nineteen years. It's not a financial thing.
- 52:41Speaker 1: We are good on that front. Her parents are also
- 52:44Speaker 1: financially stable and healthy. When I met my wife, she
- 52:48Speaker 1: was living with her parents. She told me once we
- 52:50Speaker 1: got married, we had to live with her parents, but
- 52:53Speaker 1: it would only be temporary. She would only be there
- 52:56Speaker 1: for three years. She said we would only be there
- 52:59Speaker 1: for three years. I didn't understand it, but I agree
- 53:03Speaker 1: to it. Here we are nineteen years later, and we're
- 53:07Speaker 1: still living with her parents. I want to be alone
- 53:10Speaker 1: with my wife in our own home, but my wife
- 53:13Speaker 1: does not want to leave. I can't figure out what
- 53:16Speaker 1: it is. My wife cooks and cleans for everyone in
- 53:19Speaker 1: the house, and she takes care of me the way
- 53:22Speaker 1: a wife should. Her mother taught her well. Recently, the
- 53:25Speaker 1: parents went on vacation, and it was like being in heaven.
- 53:30Speaker 1: I was walking around in my underwear, laying on the couch,
- 53:33Speaker 1: watching TV and playing my music as loud as I
- 53:37Speaker 1: wanted to. I miss having my freedom, and I desperately
- 53:41Speaker 1: want to move, but I might have to lose my
- 53:43Speaker 1: wife in the process, either she moves with me or
- 53:47Speaker 1: I'm going to move without her. I don't want to
- 53:50Speaker 1: have to give my wife an ultimatum. What would you do?
- 53:54Speaker 1: Please advise? Wow, how this has lasted for nineteen years.
- 53:59Speaker 1: I have no idea. I cannot imagine this. Why didn't
- 54:03Speaker 1: you guys leave a long, long time ago? This is
- 54:07Speaker 1: what makes it difficult. So much time has gone by.
- 54:10Speaker 1: I mean, so it's gonna be much harder now. But
- 54:14Speaker 1: it's not impossible. Okay, it's definitely not impossible. Nothing's impossible,
- 54:19Speaker 1: and there is no time like the present. So I say,
- 54:22Speaker 1: start packing. You have to tell your wife how much
- 54:25Speaker 1: you enjoyed her, how much you enjoyed having your privacy.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Tell her you want your own home and you want
- 54:31Speaker 1: to spend quality time alone with her by yourselves. You
- 54:35Speaker 1: gotta make her understand that. You gotta tell her it's
- 54:38Speaker 1: good for the marriage, all of that. Your marriage needs this.
- 54:41Speaker 1: You say, you're it's not a financial thing. You say
- 54:44Speaker 1: her parents are financially stable. They're also healthy. But the
- 54:48Speaker 1: thing about it is is that you agree to this
- 54:51Speaker 1: in the beginning. Okay, it sounds like you just let
- 54:54Speaker 1: your wife make all the decisions and you just went
- 54:56Speaker 1: along with saying okay, honey, whatever whatever, because you wanted her. Well,
- 55:01Speaker 1: now it's time to, you know, step up, be a
- 55:03Speaker 1: man and put your foot down and say, look, I
- 55:06Speaker 1: like being with you by myself. We gotta get out
- 55:08Speaker 1: of here. It may come to the come to a
- 55:11Speaker 1: point where you'll have to give your wife an ultimatum,
- 55:14Speaker 1: but in any event, you need to get out of
- 55:16Speaker 1: that house or her parents definitely need to get out
- 55:19Speaker 1: of that house. Talk to your wife, see where her
- 55:21Speaker 1: head is. If she's not with you, you're gonna have
- 55:24Speaker 1: to go on your own. Who wants to be a
- 55:26Speaker 1: grown man and live with their parents. That doesn't make sense.
- 55:29Speaker 1: When will you ever be the king of your own castle?
- 55:31Speaker 1: Steve Love? When you do the big scythe at the beginning,
- 55:39Speaker 1: it's a letter, you know, some of these letters I
- 55:42Speaker 1: would never write. I'm nothing to do it. I'm a
- 55:45Speaker 1: forty one year old married man. Him and his wife
- 55:48Speaker 1: been together nineteen years, and they've been living with her
- 55:51Speaker 1: parents the entire nineteen years. It ain't financial. Everybody in
- 55:57Speaker 1: the house good. But when she told him when he
- 56:00Speaker 1: got married, they had to live with their parents, but
- 56:03Speaker 1: it'd only be temporary. Well, that's until they die. See
- 56:10Speaker 1: what she said, It's gonna just temporary. What she meant
- 56:14Speaker 1: was just until they die. Well, the ass is still here.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Now we got a problem. Now she lied and said
- 56:23Speaker 1: that only be for three years. In nineteen years, sixteen
- 56:26Speaker 1: motive what she said. So every time he hit three,
- 56:31Speaker 1: she added three. Now next three. Here we are, nineteen
- 56:36Speaker 1: years later, we're still living with her parents. I want
- 56:41Speaker 1: to be alone with my wife in our own home,
- 56:43Speaker 1: but my wife does not want to lead. Now. I've
- 56:47Speaker 1: heard of mama's boy, but I don't know what they
- 56:50Speaker 1: call a girl. I heard a daddy's girl. But you
- 56:55Speaker 1: don't want to stay with him though. This is extreme.
- 56:59Speaker 1: And they help the two because they're going on vacation.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Ain't like they invalids and you up in here wiping
- 57:05Speaker 1: and washing and taking care of and fipping them, find
- 57:08Speaker 1: them in everything, rolling them down to the stove, leaving
- 57:11Speaker 1: them outside, putting blankets on their legs. They ask, is
- 57:15Speaker 1: vacation they going place? And you ain't even going. My
- 57:21Speaker 1: wife cooks and cleans for everybody in the house, and
- 57:23Speaker 1: she takes care of me. To wear a wife shit
- 57:25Speaker 1: her Mamma taught her well regent her parents went on vacation.
- 57:28Speaker 1: It was like being in heaven. When you said that,
- 57:30Speaker 1: I thought of the high players. What m who had
- 57:34Speaker 1: to rest my aching mind? Oh where there's no time.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Your love is divide. Heaven must be like this, It
- 57:50Speaker 1: must be like this. That's what I heard. And that's
- 57:54Speaker 1: what your house is when them two old people is gone.
- 57:58Speaker 1: It's hard to live in a peaceful house with old people. Well,
- 58:01Speaker 1: you see that it is. They don't watch what you
- 58:04Speaker 1: watch on TV. Games thrones can't come on in old people,
- 58:08Speaker 1: but their masters all, yeah, you're so right. Turn their
- 58:12Speaker 1: masters off. Dragons, yeah, turn them housewives off. All them
- 58:17Speaker 1: heifers with their breasts out. Turn that off to TV,
- 58:21Speaker 1: right your daddy wants to watch a Weston hang on.
- 58:27Speaker 1: Part two is coming up to Steve. We're watching the
- 58:29Speaker 1: Western with his old way. We'll be back in twenty
- 58:32Speaker 1: three after you're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right,
- 58:37Speaker 1: let's go Steve with part two of your response to
- 58:39Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter. Subjects her mama and daddy got together.
- 58:44Speaker 1: They got to go because he's been living in nineteen
- 58:46Speaker 1: years with their mom, and daddy said it wasn't gonna
- 58:48Speaker 1: be but three on temperate. They're not dying. They still him.
- 58:52Speaker 1: And I'm telling you it's hard living with old people
- 58:54Speaker 1: and their on vacation. You're having the time of your life.
- 58:57Speaker 1: You walk around in your drawls because you can't walk
- 59:01Speaker 1: around with your jaw with old people in the house.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Why because they don't understand it. Put your cones on
- 59:09Speaker 1: for you catch your cold. You need something, You need
- 59:13Speaker 1: to put a blanket on them knees. See old people
- 59:18Speaker 1: in your house and they stay there. You know, I
- 59:22Speaker 1: love my mother in law and father in law. They
- 59:24Speaker 1: come to visit. They can't stay as long as they
- 59:26Speaker 1: walk through. But I know my pop love worsters o
- 59:30Speaker 1: pop love Westerns man, And I ain't got no problem
- 59:33Speaker 1: with the Westerns cause we got a lot of TV.
- 59:35Speaker 1: So now it's hard living in the house now they
- 59:38Speaker 1: have't been on vacation. You in heaven, man, walking around
- 59:42Speaker 1: in your underwear, laying on the couch watching TV, playing
- 59:45Speaker 1: my music loud as I want to, because you can't
- 59:47Speaker 1: cut your music up. Why is he got it so
- 59:50Speaker 1: loud in there? Sharing? Sharing? Because it's Willy's house. This
- 59:58Speaker 1: will the house Willy wanted mus glad. We're supposed to
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: having music, glide put on my hair. Your jackson don't
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: know we're in here. We don't clean up on Saturday
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: mornings at the house. Well that's what we're doing in here.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: You have the house cleaning. Take the rug out hanging
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: on the line and meet it. We got and I'm
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: gonna play golf. What did you talking about? Now? We're
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: washing the cars today in the laundry. No, you got
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: a close line in your backyard. They didn't tell your
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: yard up. You got a close line and a guarden.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: You ain't got no more, damn Gray. They don't put
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: a clothes line in a garden back there and then
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: cut up fifty five yelling drum in havel. He got
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: a barbecue pit and all these old as friends anybody.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: It's hard living with that. I miss having my freedom.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: I desperately want to move, but I might have to
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: lose my wife in the process. Either she moves with
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: me or I'm gonna move without herb I don't want
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: to have to give my wife an ultimatum. That's exactly
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: what has to happen. You have to give your wife
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: an ultimatum. Because brother, let me say something to you.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: If you've been married for nineteen years, I'm assuming you
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: got married at what twenty two years old. Since you've
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: been twenty two, you have not been able to live
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: the life as a free, fully adult man in your
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: own home, and you enjoyed that when they went on vacation.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: You deserve to have that life, and she deserves to
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: come with you. But if she want to stay that
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: with her parents, go ahead. You ain't got a divorce,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Just move, get your own place. You ain't got a divorce,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: you ain't got a file for separation, and nothing. Y'all
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: actually in love with you. You just gotta go get
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: your own place. Invite over. We sleep it over here tonight. Baby,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: that's all. Get place, dog, don't file for divorce or
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: none of that. She said, where are you going? I'm
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: going home? What you mean home? I got me an apartment.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: You told me three years. It's been nineteen years. I
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: have asked you to move. You don't want to leave.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I love you, You're my wife, You're a girl. You
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: stay here. I'm gonna be over here. This is my place.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: I got a flash screen and refrigerator. I'm good. I
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: got some music. But Steve, huh, what are her parents
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: saying that he moved out? And what are they saying
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: to her? So? He shout so so so he just
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: gonna be a bachelor. Huh, you're gonna let him do that.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: You're gonna here, gonna just go and move out and
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: just be a little fast ass bachelor. Well, miss miss

- 1:03:11Speaker 1: sure the little crackhead boys up the street have been
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: watching us. We're trying to fight him off to y'all
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: can make it back. But he's my husband, mommy, But
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: where use your mom and your daddy? We know your folk.

- 1:04:18Speaker 1: that it's not that I just think we're we're adults.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: We should live on our own. We'll go live on

- 1:07:16Speaker 1: everybody one day Tommy, one day, man, one day, one day. Man.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: You know they sell these things you could put in
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: the shoes and make you you know, the left. Yeah,
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: they give you like another a couple of inches. Actions
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: still shot. A couple more inches, you get two inches,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: You're still short. I lose two inches. I'm still talking. Yeah,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: you put those in the shoe, but your heel is
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: sticking at the back of your shoe. It looks real, man,
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: your shoe about to come over. You're listening show Steve.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: You have to tell the story. Uh you were talking
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: about at the mentoring camp. Well, I was Jesus, you know.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: We was at the mining camp this last year down
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: at the Chick fil a place. It's a great facility
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: to have it. This year close to Atlanta, and the
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: mothers were in town at this church facility having one
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: of their sessions. So I drove from the ranch down
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: to the church facility. Now get in there, and they've
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: been waiting on man. I saw him up and I'm
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: talking to the mothers. Now one of the mothers or two,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: I was not sure one or two of them. I
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: couldn't hear and talk they couldn't talk or I don't talk.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: I'm not whatever they where they be signed, that's definitely
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I don't really you know, keep up. So I'm in
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: here talking. So the lady up there standing off to
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: the side to sign it. Ain't nobody told me nothing,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: So I'm talking and she just over that signed. So
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: I looked over there, and now I ain't saying nothing
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: at first, then she kept on. I turned around to
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: excuse me, what is you doing? So now instead of
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: talking while she keeps sign so I said, ma'am, I
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: don't know what you're doing, but sit down because I
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: don't like all that talking around. You know, I don't
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: know what you're over there doing all that moving, but
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: just come on, sit down with everybody else. So she
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: smiled and kept on sign it. Now I noticed this
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: laid it down front. It's just standing up. So I
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: still ain't. Ain't did the math on this ship. So
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: the women in the audience is covering their mouth like noah,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: this food here. And then I said, hey, look, I
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: don't like all that. Just come on, sit down. So
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: this woman was waving at me with both hands like Steve,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: you know, waving like two hands. You're trying to get
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: my attention. I said, seeing, now, what did you do?
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I said, Hi, I spoke to everybody when I came
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: in here. Now what is your double hand high fault?
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: Them ladies in that was holland laughing, But they had
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: their hand over their mouth because they was all sitting
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: hound this lady and so finally this one lady said, Steve, Steve,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: look over here and me. But I said, look at
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: you for what she said? She signed it. I said,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: wait a minute, let me stay something. Y'all. What we said,
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: all the PaperWorks out for you came here, all sign it.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: You need to be down all up for you come
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: in here. Uncle Tom said, man, you're gonna sit your ass.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: So the lady was up there looking at me, signed
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: and she laughing. So the lady was sitting there and
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: the lady says, Steve, Steve, look at me. Yeah, I said, looking,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I'm looking at you. Now what she says, Steve, that
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: woman is signing because one of the mothers in his death.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: I said, who them women in that on his head,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: their hand over their mouth, tears coming down in their faith.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: They said, Noah, this food ain't She pointed at that
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: lady down front, I said, you deaf and sh ain't
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: say no? So I say, I said, as you death,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: so the ladies and so then she looked at me
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: and gnaw her head. Called the lady said that to him,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: I said, what do you read, little? I said, cause
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: most people wron't have trouble with me because you can
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: be crossing the street to pick up what I'm saying.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: And so he's sitting here and I said, listen to me.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, really what they got they came
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: boycott because right now I'm on the radio, and if
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: they can't here, I'm just saying. I'm just saying, immediately speaking,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: what is the feel of the boycott coming from them?
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: And he made me think of Jesus? And so I'm
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: sitting up in here, so I said, I said, look
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: at me. This is all you need to know. I said,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: this is how I'm gonna show you a sign if
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: a five breakout. Then I did the wh yeah, if
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: you see the black people. Then I pointed at my
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: face turned, Then I turned. I said, we got to
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: get the blank out of here. And then I just
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: started doing this here black women, black women in that room.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: How only man So Smith's wife was there tears? Just man.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with more of the Steve
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after you're listening to show. Everyone's
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: starting to think about New Year's resolutions. Most of them
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: are personal, and a lot are related to being healthier guys.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: But if you're in a relationship, you want it to
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: be healthy too, right, right, yeah, So this is according
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: to Cosmopolitan magazine. And here are some suggestions. All right,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: be more grateful for each other. I like that one
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: that yeah, I do too. Yeah. So it means take
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: time to acknowledge your partner and things you might not
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: notice in the hustle of everyday life that can help
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: you appreciate them more. I like that a lot, you know, Honey,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: thank you Jay, because we think it's normal. And then
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: you come in. All right, here's another one. Guys, actually
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: listen to your partner. Listen. Yeah really, yeah, guys, Yeah,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: we've heard that. Communication is key, of course, but the
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: most important part of that isn't what you say. It's
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: hearing what your partner says. Okay, it's not what you say,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: it's hearing what your partner says. Go ahead, go ahead,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: hearing and listening. It's too different things. I would listen
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: more if you would opportune times to talk. Okay, so
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: you gotta have a special time time to talk to you. Yeah.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: This is the person that's in his house by him.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: That's who this is. All right, more of this crazy
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: ignorant show. Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this, you're
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yla Scott. This one off
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: rapid fire. Here we go. What is your biggest addiction? Man? Well,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: it was cigars. Cigars, man, it was like cigars. Yeah,
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: and it was that got taken from me. So I
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: told my wife to day so she said I could
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: smoke a cigar on my birthday. So I'm waiting till
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: tomorrow at my birthday party to smoke my cigar. And
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: then I said, baby, I'm gonna go down to one
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: cigar month. She said, no, Steve, You're gonna just stop
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: all together and stop talking about when you get on
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: your boat trip this year, how you gonna don't say
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: nothing to you. I said, baby, that when I get
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: on that boat this year, don't say nothing to me now,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: because I'm now I'm gonna smoking a cigar. I'm on
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: the boat bunch. So we y'all pray for me that
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: that happened, so after you till summer. That yeah, Jesus, Jesus,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Jesus the man calling watching, Yeah, I ain't gonna work.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: What else? You're all right? Do you have a song
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: that reminds you of a relationship? And if so, with
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: some adore until the end of time. I'll be there
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: for you. You are my heart and mind. I truly
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: doore you. And if God one day struck me blind
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: your beauty, I would still see. Love is too weak
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: to define just what you mean to me. That is
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: me and Marjorie's jail. Okay, sing it all right? Here's
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: my question. Your favorite time of day morning, noon or night? Morning?
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: I love morning, person, man. I love waking up. Man.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: I love waking up for the sun. Come on, oh man,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: I love all right, Tommy? Come on? Who three hours
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: are quickie? Two? Three hours is like too much that anymore?
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I just said, really, man, I mean I got to
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: go to work. She probably want to go to sleep.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: But quickies ain't really you know, I need a little
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: bit of time in a quickie. So but two to
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: three hours, nah, ain't nobody doing all twenty anymore? I
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: throw it a marathon on you. But there ain't gonna
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: be no three hours right all right, coming up next
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: to our last break of the day, and Steve will
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: have some closing remarks. All that's coming up at forty
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: nine after the hour. Right after this, you're listening show,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: last break of the day. We've got a great morning today, Yes,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: yes we did. We have fun today. Steve. It's time
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: for you now to take us home with your closing remarks.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: What you got for us today, Steve, I got a
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: shot one for you today. I just want to encourage
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: people to think about one thing, just one thing. What's
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: that when you sleep, you dream when you wake up,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: you need to get to chasing them. But it seems
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: to be so difficult for people because people delay the
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: process of pursuing their dreams. You have these wonderful dreams,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: these incredible things that you dream about, get up and
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: make them happen. Dreams come true for those who put
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: action to the dream. Why do you think you keep
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: dreaming the same thing over and over and over because
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: God wants you to see something. Stop dreaming and just
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: laying in, going back to bed and dreaming some more.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: Start trying to make these dreams happen. Man, get to
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: chasing these dreams. You can do it, man, but you've
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: got to start. Stop waiting on the perfect time because
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: the perfect time almost always never comes. Let me say
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: that again, stop waiting on the perfect time because the
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: perfect time almost never ever comes. It. Just don't y'all
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: grown out there? How many times have you ran up
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: into the perfect time to start anything? Oh? Now you
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: can claim something to be the perfect time. You know
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: you were a girl and y'all land I think this
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: would be the perfect time for us to get together.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Probably be the perfect time for you. She may feel
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: the same way. But really, though, really, if you're waiting
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: to make your dreams come true with the perfect time,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: you're gonna be in a hurt. Man. If you're waiting
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: to get all the ducks lined up in a row,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: you could be waiting for a long time because it's
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: something about ducks. They just don't stay in the row.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: When you sleep, you dream when you wake up. You
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: need to get to chasing them, and I'm serious about that.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: Ask God for some help, get motivated, come up with
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: the reason why it has to happen. Just get started.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: You don't have to figure out how to get it
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: all the way to the end. Just figure out how
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: to start. The next step will present itself if you
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: want to climb up on the ladder. Come on, y'all,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: when you sleep your dream, when you wake up, you
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: need to get to chasing them. That's it, all right,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: drop it, baby, drop it, drop the mike. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: great job, man, very good, very encouraging. I'm a glad
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: to make something myself. You might one day if you
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: keep added Jason seriously, and Steve too, I tell him
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: not to keep at it. Steve, You're onto something. Congratulations
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: again to man. I'm telling you many business and I
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: really do consider myself a music expert in terms of
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: loving it and having grown up in the arrow where
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: real musicians existed and real singers where I grew up
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: in the arrow whare. And it's not a knock on
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: what's happening today. It's just different. In order to get
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: a record deal, you had to be able to flat
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: out say else you just didn't get no deal. Yeah,
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: if you had. We were in the band, you had
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: to flat out be able to play. I'm just from
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: that generation. I'm not knocking nothing else, you know, it's
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: it's nothing for me to love about music today. Beyonce
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: is a throwback. Bruno Mars is a throwback. India I
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: Red is a throwback. Eric Kabadu is a throwback. Uh,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Jasmine Sullivan is a throwback. A couple of Forever rist
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: Michelle Chrissette. Michelle is a throwback. Alicia Keys is a throwback.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Mary J. Blige is a throwback. It's a lot I'm
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: leaving off Indie I Re is a throwback. What's my
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: girl out of Philly? Scott? You know? Lettu? See? I
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: mean I'm leaving I'm leaving women out who are really great. Yes,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: but I'm just telling y'all. Vivian Green but girlfriend of
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: them all in his head? Yeah, yeah, none of them
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: is the performer that Beyonce is. And that's taking nothing
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: away from these on social media saying all hell to
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: the queen. Baby. Did you see Rice Rihanna in the
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: front row jam and I loved that total package? Yeah
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: is Beyonce. I've never seen it in my life, and
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I've seen all of them. She's next level. She is No,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: she's not, she's yes the spears, She's not catchable, right right,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Gotta have a great weekend. Man. No, I'm just gonna
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: join Monday because well, I'm gonna be working this weekend
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: and Junior will be back normal tomorrow. He's on a
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: walker right now, though. I thank you, love you for
