- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, okay,
- 2:18Speaker 1: here's what I want to share with you. Stop complaining.
- 2:28Speaker 1: So I had to let you see how I let
- 2:29Speaker 1: that one sit for a second. Stop complaining. Do you
- 2:37Speaker 1: realize without us even thinking about it, oftentimes we just
- 2:44Speaker 1: complain about stuff and it comes up in such subtle forms. Man,
- 2:53Speaker 1: I don't know why they're still in that lady work there. Man,
- 2:56Speaker 1: If they don't fire this woman, Man, I don't know
- 2:58Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do. She driving me crazy. She always
- 3:02Speaker 1: got something to say. I bet to day though, the
- 3:08Speaker 1: way I'm feeling right now, I bet she'd been not
- 3:11Speaker 1: saying nothing to me. Today. M yeah, yeah, because day
- 3:16Speaker 1: it today it. I'm sick of her running her mouth.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Last time she says something to me, I should have
- 3:24Speaker 1: said something to it. You know what I'm saying. I'm
- 3:27Speaker 1: just giving you a small example of how it starts
- 3:30Speaker 1: to snowball once you start to complain. It's it just
- 3:37Speaker 1: carries over into so many things. Man, Stop complaining about
- 3:41Speaker 1: your car, Stop complaining about your bus pass, Stop complaining
- 3:45Speaker 1: about your kids can't seem to get it together. Stop
- 3:48Speaker 1: complaining about your man can't seem to get it together.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Stop complaining. Stop Have you noticed? I'm just asking, have
- 3:58Speaker 1: you noticed that in all of your complaining, it has
- 4:03Speaker 1: provided not one solution. The reason I'm telling you to
- 4:09Speaker 1: stop complaining because God is able, Because God is capable.
- 4:17Speaker 1: He is capable and able of fixing anything, capable and
- 4:24Speaker 1: able of curing anything, capable and able of allowing you
- 4:31Speaker 1: to get too adjusting to things, and capable and able
- 4:39Speaker 1: to strengthen you to get through and change anything. But
- 4:46Speaker 1: the key here is God is capable, and God is able.
- 4:51Speaker 1: A lot of times I find myself complaining because I
- 4:55Speaker 1: have not used my greatest asset. And that's my real
- 5:00Speaker 1: relationship with God. You all have one now. You may
- 5:03Speaker 1: not have nurtured it, but you have one because God
- 5:06Speaker 1: created you as you as his child. He's available to
- 5:09Speaker 1: you now. The fact that you ain't went to him. Okay,
- 5:13Speaker 1: once again, who fathers that? Stop complaining until you strengthen
- 5:20Speaker 1: your relationship with God and formulate this relationship. You don't
- 5:26Speaker 1: have enough weapons. You ain't got a big enough shield
- 5:31Speaker 1: to fight this thing called life. It just keeps coming. Man,
- 5:36Speaker 1: And unless you develop a relationship with God, you need
- 5:39Speaker 1: a partner in all of this. Maybe you got another
- 5:43Speaker 1: route you're gonna take. But every successful person I know
- 5:49Speaker 1: personally has a relationship with God. I have some really
- 5:57Speaker 1: really some people as kind of up there in the
- 6:01Speaker 1: success term in terms of business and money and statue.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I'm just talking about that portion of success. And then
- 6:08Speaker 1: I have a lot of people who are very successful
- 6:12Speaker 1: in their spiritual life, who have become great men of
- 6:15Speaker 1: God and women of God. But look at all of them,
- 6:20Speaker 1: and all of them have substantial amounts of you know,
- 6:26Speaker 1: possessions and things like that. Also, most successful people I
- 6:30Speaker 1: know have that even if you saw them never with
- 6:35Speaker 1: a big lot of house and a lot of money
- 6:37Speaker 1: or stuff like that. They had so much respect, so
- 6:41Speaker 1: much love, so much power was given them from people
- 6:49Speaker 1: that their life was rich in that area, you know,
- 6:53Speaker 1: like a man Nu the King or something like that,
- 6:56Speaker 1: or Gandhi or somebody who lived their life in service,
- 6:59Speaker 1: or Nelson Mandela who came out and just man, people
- 7:03Speaker 1: put stuff at their feet because of their service. So
- 7:05Speaker 1: all successful people I know have that, Every last one
- 7:08Speaker 1: of these people that I know, they have relationship with God.
- 7:14Speaker 1: They used the tool that was available to them to
- 7:17Speaker 1: give them the strength, the bullets, the arrows, the slings,
- 7:22Speaker 1: the shield to fight this thing called life and have
- 7:25Speaker 1: the most valuable partner right there by their side. They
- 7:28Speaker 1: heavily father God because he will help you get through
- 7:30Speaker 1: this thing called life. Man, stop complaining all the time.
- 7:33Speaker 1: It's not fixing anything. Why don't you do yourself a
- 7:37Speaker 1: favor and strengthen your relationship with God? Man? Why can
- 7:40Speaker 1: I never get over? Well? You have not because you
- 7:43Speaker 1: ask not. Man, how come I always got problems? Well,
- 7:46Speaker 1: you keep trying to solve them yourself and taking them
- 7:49Speaker 1: to your friends. You keep trying to do them with
- 7:51Speaker 1: your own thought process. Who are you? I keep telling you, Man,
- 7:55Speaker 1: you're going through stuff you ain't got no business going
- 7:58Speaker 1: through And if it's you going through something over and
- 8:02Speaker 1: over and over and over, and the same problem keep
- 8:05Speaker 1: coming back to bite you again, all that's saying is
- 8:09Speaker 1: you still ain't strengthen your relationship with God. It's your relationship.
- 8:13Speaker 1: He's not gonna make you have one with him. He
- 8:16Speaker 1: is a perfect gentleman. He only comes into your life
- 8:19Speaker 1: when you invite him in. But for those who do
- 8:25Speaker 1: invite him men, they have a distinct advantage on their
- 8:28Speaker 1: road to success, a distinct advantage. You can do it
- 8:32Speaker 1: without him. Trust me, you can. How far you get.
- 8:36Speaker 1: I can't promise you nothing, how well you handle it
- 8:39Speaker 1: when you arrived there, I can't promise you nothing, how
- 8:43Speaker 1: long you're gonna stay there, I can't promise you nothing.
- 8:47Speaker 1: How difficult it's going to be without him. I can't
- 8:51Speaker 1: give you that. It's going to be far more difficult.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But you can. Something can happen, and you know, receive
- 8:57Speaker 1: a measure of success, and you think is you and
- 8:59Speaker 1: as this move you made, and you can describe it
- 9:02Speaker 1: as I got lucky. I happened to be in the
- 9:05Speaker 1: right place at the right time. I got lucky. Lucky
- 9:09Speaker 1: is usually how other people describe other people's success poor.
- 9:13Speaker 1: He was lucky. He was right there. Well, let me
- 9:15Speaker 1: tell you what luck is. Luck is when hard work
- 9:18Speaker 1: bumps up into opportunity. If you've been working hard at something,
- 9:22Speaker 1: an opportunity presents itself that comes a match. That's not luck.
- 9:27Speaker 1: But now, if you haven't done that on a repetitive
- 9:30Speaker 1: enough basis, that opportunity could present itself one time. You
- 9:37Speaker 1: got to reconnect. Stop complaining, man, come on, listen to me.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Stop complaining. It hasn't fixed a single thing in your life.
- 9:43Speaker 1: And if your chronic complainer, it's because you really really
- 9:47Speaker 1: have not fixed your relationship with God. He'll smooth it
- 9:50Speaker 1: out for you. That I can tell you for a fact.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I know that for a fact. He smooved mine out.
- 9:54Speaker 1: All right, let's go. You're listening. Ladies and gentlemen, man,
- 10:02Speaker 1: have your undivided attention, please, and I do need your
- 10:05Speaker 1: attention because today it's gonna be special. We don't know
- 10:09Speaker 1: where they are, but they're not here. Shirley Strawberry and
- 10:15Speaker 1: Colin Farrell are not here. Ladies and gentlemen, can't nobody
- 10:21Speaker 1: stop us. Ain't nobody here but the food, Junior, what's
- 10:29Speaker 1: up nephew, Tommy your side, him right here, right here,
- 10:34Speaker 1: nothing holding us down. Baby, Hey, Shirley's not here, have
- 10:39Speaker 1: not heard from him, and Carlin's not here, and the
- 10:43Speaker 1: shoulders start. I say, lock the door and make sure
- 10:47Speaker 1: they don't get in here. Hey, ma, let' tell what
- 10:49Speaker 1: we don't have, you know, because Carlin brings the show
- 10:53Speaker 1: printed out, you know, the eel points that we've posted,
- 10:57Speaker 1: made the announcements we've posted, made a special edition stories, uh,
- 11:03Speaker 1: you know, entertainment news. We don't have none of that.
- 11:10Speaker 1: We don't have nothing, and we don't care. We don't
- 11:15Speaker 1: even care. Hey, man, tell me say that again. We
- 11:18Speaker 1: don't care. We don't want it when they bring it,
- 11:20Speaker 1: we don't care. Dog ain't ever liked it. Don't even
- 11:26Speaker 1: really see what she up typing paperwork fuck like and
- 11:30Speaker 1: we got to stick to the damn script. Doesn't let
- 11:34Speaker 1: everybody know it'd be three pieces of paper. I want
- 11:36Speaker 1: to float every morning. We don't even read none of that.
- 11:40Speaker 1: But I don't even want it. I don't even want that.
- 11:42Speaker 1: They couldn't sending it to me. I don't even get
- 11:43Speaker 1: the email no more, dog dog, because because we don't

- 14:50Speaker 1: Me and Junior worked with him in his ladder years

- 14:58Speaker 1: worked with him. He can't. He would come, I'm doing
- 15:00Speaker 1: a lot. At least twice a year, Rudy raymo would
- 15:03Speaker 1: show up. But I sat with and talked with him, man,
- 15:04Speaker 1: and he talked about that and then to see it
- 15:06Speaker 1: on film. Hey, man, I've I've had him on the radio.
- 15:10Speaker 1: And Rudy ray Moore's Signifying Monkey was the very first
- 15:13Speaker 1: comedy routine I ever recorded in my life. At twelve
- 15:17Speaker 1: thirteen years old, my mother bobby recording for Christmas, and
- 15:21Speaker 1: I recorded Signifying Monkey only cussing and all. And my
- 15:25Speaker 1: mama had some church folks over that afternoon and said,
- 15:28Speaker 1: I bought Stephen. I left my record on the coffee
- 15:30Speaker 1: table and I went upstairs and all the churchwomen was
- 15:33Speaker 1: around him. My mama said, I bought little Stephen is recorded.
- 15:36Speaker 1: He's been working on it all morning, and she pressed play.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Oh no, he came signifying monkey came went down in
- 15:45Speaker 1: the chunk of d Was you in trouble? Oh you
- 15:50Speaker 1: came down steps? When you said on the steps, I didn't.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Just tears start coming out of my eyes because I'm
- 15:56Speaker 1: I'm I'm cussing just like Rudy ray Moo. Not a
- 15:59Speaker 1: church women. Oh lord, cheez, now, my mama. They old,
- 16:03Speaker 1: they don't know how to they don't know how to
- 16:05Speaker 1: cut it off, and they keep going. Took them five
- 16:08Speaker 1: minutes to frying play stop was just just another hour.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Finally some lady press stopped said, oh my god, who
- 16:17Speaker 1: was that when they stopped it? Just him? When they
- 16:20Speaker 1: stopped it, what part was it? Old? It had finished?
- 16:23Speaker 1: It don't matter, junior. Was that that monkey going to
- 16:27Speaker 1: tope of that line? Snatch started and the same that
- 16:33Speaker 1: getting to say it God snatched and rolled them in
- 16:40Speaker 1: the saying yeah, and I'm doing my m oh dog,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I'm doing my Ruty Ramo impression. I'm doing his voice.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Yea man, the church women a home. My mama says,
- 16:52Speaker 1: come in here. You I know I've never been so ashamed.
- 16:58Speaker 1: When your dady get hold your daddy gonna beat you
- 17:01Speaker 1: for this hill? Yeah, he said, Lord Jesus. So my
- 17:05Speaker 1: father came home. She said, Slick, you ain't gonna believe
- 17:09Speaker 1: with this boy. What all this money we didn't pay
- 17:12Speaker 1: for this little record. And because he only won this
- 17:15Speaker 1: cassette thing, and look what he put on it. He
- 17:18Speaker 1: pressed it and I just thought crying. He said, boy,
- 17:22Speaker 1: going the basement, because that's why I got my whipper.
- 17:24Speaker 1: So I go down in the basement. About thirty minutes later,
- 17:27Speaker 1: my daddy come down the head record in his hand, said,
- 17:30Speaker 1: come on getting the car. We got in the station wagon.
- 17:33Speaker 1: I'm sitting the cards having nothing. Man, we ain't never
- 17:35Speaker 1: had drove, get no whipping before. He took me up
- 17:37Speaker 1: the Earl's gas station up on the Ohio or Earl
- 17:42Speaker 1: got me out, set me down in front of all
- 17:44Speaker 1: his boys, and pressed play. I was up there for
- 17:47Speaker 1: two hours. Boy boy listened to this right here, y'all
- 17:54Speaker 1: checked this out. That's my boy. My daddy was the
- 17:59Speaker 1: proudest of me. He'd never been that proud of me before,
- 18:03Speaker 1: because I sounded just like Rudy ray Moo, and I
- 18:06Speaker 1: did the whole signifying monkey boy, what ain't got this?
- 18:09Speaker 1: Rid that? How you got it? What you rid that?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Just say ain't got just rid of that? Boy? Why
- 18:17Speaker 1: don't got that rid that you read that and learned
- 18:22Speaker 1: that thing? I said, I didn't, Daddy, I remember how
- 18:25Speaker 1: you memorize that. I'll be listening to you play it
- 18:28Speaker 1: all the time. Whow boy, you don't be in that room.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I'll be on who remember the y boy? I was
- 18:40Speaker 1: the king. I was the king of comedy before that,
- 18:45Speaker 1: was a king of comedy at thirteen years old doing
- 18:48Speaker 1: Rudy ray Moo signifying monkey. Let me ask you this.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Let me ask you that you heard a lot of
- 18:54Speaker 1: albums growing up as a kid. You've seen some of
- 18:57Speaker 1: the greatest. You became one of the greatest. What who
- 19:01Speaker 1: would you like? What movie would you like to see?
- 19:04Speaker 1: We see that there's now a movie on Dolomite, Who
- 19:06Speaker 1: Went in the past. Would you like to see a
- 19:09Speaker 1: bio pick on a good one on Richard Pryde? That
- 19:16Speaker 1: would be good. That would be Jojoe Downson didn't do
- 19:20Speaker 1: it justice to me the real prise story. UM can't
- 19:28Speaker 1: tell you the truth, man, I would love to see
- 19:31Speaker 1: a bio pick of the Kings of comedy. What they
- 19:37Speaker 1: did with Compton? Yeah, yeah, yeah, straight out of I
- 19:43Speaker 1: think man, that that would be really interesting, man, you know,
- 19:49Speaker 1: I really really think that would be interesting. Man. I
- 19:53Speaker 1: don't know who playing who, but I can see them.
- 19:55Speaker 1: I can see them. I don't I don't either. I
- 19:57Speaker 1: don't I don't know who's playing who either, but it
- 20:00Speaker 1: would be good to see. Did y'all ever have controversy
- 20:03Speaker 1: when y'all was on tour like that for that long,
- 20:06Speaker 1: y'all ain't have really no, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it
- 20:11Speaker 1: was a little bit, man, But there was always stuff
- 20:14Speaker 1: we worked out because we as professionals, we wanted to win,
- 20:17Speaker 1: so we always worked it out. We had problems, you know, yeah,
- 20:21Speaker 1: hey man, they may need to watch your time. You
- 20:23Speaker 1: do it a little bit long, all right, my bad dog.
- 20:26Speaker 1: You know stuff like that. You know, somebody wants somebody
- 20:30Speaker 1: to change a piece of material because it's close to
- 20:33Speaker 1: a piece of material one and it's four of us.
- 20:35Speaker 1: So we had to work through a lot of stuff
- 20:37Speaker 1: like that. Hey man, I'm doing this preacher joke tonight. Okay,
- 20:41Speaker 1: stuff like that. So y'all were stay away from bits
- 20:44Speaker 1: the others were doing. Yeah, yeah, ain't many girls out here, listen,
- 20:47Speaker 1: coming up? We don't know again what was coming up?

- 29:14Speaker 1: listening to show all right. You may have seen some
- 29:20Speaker 1: reports about fifty cent being suspended from Instagram after he
- 29:24Speaker 1: dissed his own Power cast Matenatory Naughton. You know she
- 29:27Speaker 1: plays Tasha Saint Patrick on Power. Yes, he talked about
- 29:31Speaker 1: her hairline. Uh. Fitty issued an apology to Natry Naughton, um,
- 29:38Speaker 1: but his account disappeared from the platform shortly thereafter. Well, now,
- 29:42Speaker 1: King of Trolling has set a new set the record
- 29:46Speaker 1: straight on all of the speculation. Taking to Twitter, Fitty
- 29:50Speaker 1: posted an article that claims he was banned from Instagram
- 29:53Speaker 1: for trolling NOTATORI and wrote LLL I'm cool with all
- 29:56Speaker 1: these false reports. If you don't know why something happened,
- 30:00Speaker 1: you can't just make some blank up shaking my head.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I turned my own I G page off suckers. Uh.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Then he tweeted a photo of himself smoking a cigar
- 30:12Speaker 1: while holding his phone, with the caption I like Twitter
- 30:15Speaker 1: better than IG right now follow me over here. You
- 30:20Speaker 1: know he the best at this. You know that he
- 30:22Speaker 1: really shaking it up. He is, you know how to
- 30:24Speaker 1: shake it up? Man, he really does. But that's crazy. Yeah,
- 30:29Speaker 1: you don't talk about our girl, Tasha Saint Patrick. You
- 30:32Speaker 1: do not do that. I still see Lil Kim when
- 30:35Speaker 1: I see it old when I don't know what it is,
- 30:36Speaker 1: I see Miss Saint Patrick. But look Kim be sticking
- 30:40Speaker 1: out too. She was so see that movie. Yeah, I
- 30:42Speaker 1: can see huh and she can sing. She's a very
- 30:47Speaker 1: talented young lady. Very talented. Yeah, so fitty leave her alone.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Leave her alone. Many probably homeboy home girls know they are,
- 30:56Speaker 1: you know they are. And other entertainment news and Jada
- 30:59Speaker 1: Pinkett's Facebook show, her Red Table Talk. Well, this coming Monday,
- 31:03Speaker 1: t I will be on there. He's going to address
- 31:06Speaker 1: his controversial comments on the backlash he received about discussing Yeah,
- 31:11Speaker 1: we talked about this as well, discussing his eighteen year
- 31:13Speaker 1: old daughter Dejah's virginity and a tiny Tea's wife will
- 31:18Speaker 1: will join him. They're going to talk about how they
- 31:20Speaker 1: survive the challenges of their marriage. So that's all coming
- 31:23Speaker 1: up on Jada's Red Table Talk. Sure, you want to
- 31:27Speaker 1: check that out. Yeah, Jada mom gonna be on there.
- 31:30Speaker 1: She's always on there. While you asked, yes, Mary Man, yes,
- 31:36Speaker 1: she is beautiful. Oh my god, you know, I don't
- 31:40Speaker 1: you know? Something happens to him, y'all come on this show.
- 31:45Speaker 1: He was fine if saying I was thinking the exact same,
- 31:50Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden one of y'all come
- 31:53Speaker 1: on the show and hear his ask, well, wait a minute,
- 31:57Speaker 1: I'm just at work, you may I could seem like
- 32:01Speaker 1: he didn't get starring. Hold on, hold on one of y'all,
- 32:06Speaker 1: t one of y'all. One of y'all just get on
- 32:08Speaker 1: this mic and tell me. Uh, Jada Pinkey Mama, ain't
- 32:11Speaker 1: fan say it? Say it, m what she's gorgeous. I mean,
- 32:16Speaker 1: she's you know you didn't mean me, But they ain't
- 32:20Speaker 1: saying nothing. Hush over your rude. She got an eight back,
- 32:23Speaker 1: not a sick back eight back? What we not fitting
- 32:28Speaker 1: to talk about, Jada Pinkey Mama. That's the point, you listen,
- 32:34Speaker 1: Is that really time about your mamma? Thought? Yeah, I
- 32:37Speaker 1: mean that ain't like well, that ain't George Wallace and
- 32:39Speaker 1: Janathon Brown talk about your mamma. It ain't like that.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Oh like Mama Joe. You're not saying anything. No, you're
- 32:46Speaker 1: saying she's beautiful and she's got an eight back and
- 32:48Speaker 1: she does, yeah, did gorgeous. But you can't call it
- 32:53Speaker 1: Jada pinky mama. Yeah. But let's let's point out a
- 32:56Speaker 1: couple of let's point out a couple of things to
- 33:00Speaker 1: one of them. You're married, ye, wife, Yeah, he changed.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I hope she knows Jada mama fern. I hope she
- 33:09Speaker 1: knows it. All right, we're gonna move on here, Steve.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Time for today's headlines. Take it away, play and gentlemen,
- 33:19Speaker 1: Miss Anne Trip, good morning. Everybody is an trip. And yes,
- 33:23Speaker 1: I have seen Jada think it's mother. She is absolutely gorgeous.
- 33:26Speaker 1: You can see where Jada gets her beautiful looks. Okay,
- 33:29Speaker 1: this is a sad kind of story. This is one
- 33:31Speaker 1: of pins and needles. World famous forensic pathologist Michael Batten
- 33:35Speaker 1: has weight into the Rodney Red case in Texas. Read
- 33:38Speaker 1: is Black. He scheduled to be executed today for the
- 33:41Speaker 1: murder of a white woman named Stacy Stits in nineteen
- 33:43Speaker 1: ninety eight. Batten now joined several legal experts and celebrities
- 33:46Speaker 1: and saying read is as innocent as he claims to be.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Read says his DNA was in Stights apartment because they
- 33:52Speaker 1: were dating and Stits white x fiance, a former cop
- 33:55Speaker 1: who's in jail, told people how angry he was at
- 33:58Speaker 1: STIs was quote cheating on him with a black man,
- 34:01Speaker 1: and some feel he killed her. Today Mark's the beginning
- 34:04Speaker 1: of the third day of the House Intelligence Committee's public
- 34:06Speaker 1: impeachment hearings. Yesterday, to Trump appointees Kurt Volker form a
- 34:10Speaker 1: special envoy the Ukraine test fight, he was never aware
- 34:12Speaker 1: of or took part in, any effort to get that
- 34:15Speaker 1: country to investigate. Joe Biden outgoing security ah To Marson
- 34:18Speaker 1: said he heard Trump's July phone call, but that he
- 34:21Speaker 1: didn't think Trump did anything illegal. After that, Democratic Congressman
- 34:24Speaker 1: Julian Costro got back to the main question and President
- 34:27Speaker 1: Trump aside, whether you believe that it's proper for any
- 34:31Speaker 1: president now or later to ask a foreign government to
- 34:35Speaker 1: investigate a US citizen, and specifically a US citizen that
- 34:39Speaker 1: could be a political rival. Ambassador, I don't believe it
- 34:44Speaker 1: is appropriate for the president to do that. Generally, they're
- 34:46Speaker 1: appropriate channels for that, Mister Morrison, I agree with Ambassador Volkers,
- 34:51Speaker 1: but the committee chair, Adam Schiff, said he didn't believe
- 34:53Speaker 1: the Republicans argument that the Trump that Donald Trump was
- 34:56Speaker 1: only concerned about corruption. He didn't think that stood up.
- 34:59Speaker 1: The evidence points in the other direction. The evidence points
- 35:02Speaker 1: in the direction of the President inviting Ukraine to engage
- 35:06Speaker 1: in the corrupt act of investigating a US political opponent.
- 35:11Speaker 1: In fact, two other witnesses, Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindemann
- 35:15Speaker 1: and Jennifer Williams, a Foreign service aide to Vice President Pence,
- 35:18Speaker 1: both of them listening on the phone call too, between
- 35:20Speaker 1: the President and Ukraine's president of Voladimir and Lincoln Zelenski
- 35:25Speaker 1: Rather and both of them say they voiced concerns about
- 35:28Speaker 1: what they heard afterwards. Two Western hostages, an American and Australia,
- 35:31Speaker 1: now free after being hell since twenty sixteen by the Taliban.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Both men had been teachers at the American University in
- 35:37Speaker 1: Kabble when they were kidnapped. They've now been released to
- 35:40Speaker 1: US forces part of a prisoners swap for three senior
- 35:43Speaker 1: Taliban folks. Ten presidential candidates debate in Atlanta tonight. They're
- 35:47Speaker 1: going to be doing it on Tyler Perry's massive sound stage.
- 35:50Speaker 1: He has the largest a sound stage movie sound stage
- 35:53Speaker 1: in America, black or white. And of course Tyler Perry,
- 35:56Speaker 1: you know, is African American. And finally today is national
- 35:59Speaker 1: chick jas Chicken makes you feel so good. Now back
- 36:05Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Steve
- 36:09Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Bill Gates, guys, is once again the
- 36:13Speaker 1: richest person in the world. On Friday, Bill Gates surprised
- 36:17Speaker 1: Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos to reclaim the title other richest
- 36:21Speaker 1: person in the world with a net worth of You
- 36:23Speaker 1: ready for this number, Guess it's Steve. I would probably
- 36:28Speaker 1: think about a hundred and eighty four billion. Well some
- 36:35Speaker 1: parts of that you got, right, one hundred and ten billion,
- 36:40Speaker 1: one hundred and ten billion dollars billion with the BOE
- 36:44Speaker 1: how must have got from Amazon, but probably for the
- 36:48Speaker 1: half he got a divorce. Remember he split it. How
- 36:57Speaker 1: much does Bill Gates half? One hundred and ten billion dollars?
- 37:02Speaker 1: Now this is according to Bloomberg. That's all I know.
- 37:05Speaker 1: You didn't fix your mouth to say that's all. Yeah,
- 37:09Speaker 1: that's how I hate it. Yeah, yeah, damn, I thought
- 37:14Speaker 1: I thought he hasn't paid Yeah, he's not doing good. Stick.
- 37:19Speaker 1: You know, Jeff Pizos had one hundred and seventy billion.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I thought you was gonna top that. You know, any
- 37:24Speaker 1: guy then fo that's the only reason you Number one.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Bill Gates has regained the lead because Microsoft shares are
- 37:31Speaker 1: up nearly forty eight percent this year. That's where the
- 37:34Speaker 1: money's coming in. He's not the richest man in the world.
- 37:38Speaker 1: They have to stop, is it. Oh, why you say
- 37:42Speaker 1: that the richest man in America? Oh? Okay, yes, they
- 37:45Speaker 1: are no one near the richest man in the world.
- 37:48Speaker 1: You don't understand. They don't have a tax system in
- 37:50Speaker 1: the Middle East. There's no tracing these people's money. They
- 37:55Speaker 1: have unforeseen money. You can't trace to saw these money.
- 37:59Speaker 1: They have unforeseen money. You can't imagine the money these
- 38:04Speaker 1: cats got into Abu Dhabi. You can't imagine it, just can't.
- 38:09Speaker 1: So as there's no tax system, they'd be laughing. I
- 38:12Speaker 1: was in a meeting over there and somebody said Jeff
- 38:15Speaker 1: Bezos was the richest person in the world with a
- 38:17Speaker 1: hundred and seventy buildings. Five of them dudes at table
- 38:20Speaker 1: started that that was absurd to them, and day obviously
- 38:28Speaker 1: I was by far the Polish person that hundred and
- 38:35Speaker 1: seventy had my undivided Wow, that's man right there. They
- 38:40Speaker 1: started laughing. That is nothing. They were talking about what
- 38:44Speaker 1: their uncle got and what he got. Another dude with
- 38:47Speaker 1: one of that they was that you made that, you
- 38:49Speaker 1: made you made that last year. Wow? Okay these dudes
- 38:55Speaker 1: his own one no easy bill Kate person painting. He
- 39:04Speaker 1: commented on his wealth response to Senator Elizabeth Warren's proposed
- 39:08Speaker 1: wealth tax. Gates said he has paid more than ten
- 39:12Speaker 1: billion dollars and would even pay twenty billion in taxes,
- 39:15Speaker 1: but having to pay one hundred billion, he would have
- 39:19Speaker 1: to see what he had left over coming up at
- 39:24Speaker 1: thirty four after the hour. Some people like being sick.
- 39:27Speaker 1: We'll talk about that right after this. Who is not that? Yeah,
- 39:32Speaker 1: you're listening to the Stry Morning Show. While getting sick
- 39:36Speaker 1: is the worst thing imaginable for a lot a lot
- 39:39Speaker 1: of people, Apparently, there are some people who actually do
- 39:43Speaker 1: not mind it at all. Can you imagine not minding
- 39:47Speaker 1: being sick? A new poll finds that Steve twenty nine
- 39:50Speaker 1: percent of Americans are happy to get sick occasionally because
- 39:54Speaker 1: it gives them a rest from their day to day
- 39:57Speaker 1: lives and their chores and tasks and everything, work and
- 40:00Speaker 1: everything said that being sick, Uh, they like it to
- 40:06Speaker 1: focus on themselves and it also gives them permission to
- 40:09Speaker 1: slow down. So what do you guys think? To tell
- 40:18Speaker 1: you what, I'll tell you what. These numbers will go down.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Get this sickle sales double don't go down. Come over
- 40:24Speaker 1: and change that rotator cuff out and see if that
- 40:27Speaker 1: don't slow your hairs down. Come get you. Yeah, these numbers,
- 40:31Speaker 1: I think that's that's from people. I think the average
- 40:34Speaker 1: person that makes that statement has an unhappy life and position.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Like at work. Yeah, you know, if you don't enjoy
- 40:42Speaker 1: your job, staying home sick it's cool, m because you're
- 40:46Speaker 1: sick at work, but just stay home, just calling have
- 40:51Speaker 1: a sick day. Why do you have to actually be
- 40:53Speaker 1: sick to do that? You've never sick? No, I was
- 41:00Speaker 1: gonna say, you've never taken a sick day, Right, you're
- 41:04Speaker 1: taking something, I mean you're taking out. No, that's not
- 41:08Speaker 1: what I mean. I mean you've taken sick days, but
- 41:10Speaker 1: you're never sick on on the sick days. No, no, no, no,
- 41:14Speaker 1: another not on the sick days. I take job. I've

- 43:40Speaker 1: all right, all right, we're not going there today. The
- 43:45Speaker 1: day we can do it already, that's the day that
- 43:48Speaker 1: I knew she was trying to kill you. You made
- 43:55Speaker 1: it through so it didn't happen, by the grace of
- 43:57Speaker 1: God all the time. Yeah, wow. Yeah. And then three
- 44:04Speaker 1: days later you came back to work and you were fine,
- 44:06Speaker 1: like nothing ever happened, nothing ever. Yeah, I just I
- 44:10Speaker 1: just beat the poison whatever it was. Yeah, it could
- 44:13Speaker 1: have been food poisoning, and you just no, that could

- 54:59Speaker 1: De even Shirley. I am a thirty year old married
- 55:02Speaker 1: woman and my husband and I need your advice on
- 55:04Speaker 1: an issue with our closest friends. Our friends are first
- 55:07Speaker 1: time parents and their daughter is a toddler. Now. Since
- 55:11Speaker 1: the child was born, we've been in a group text
- 55:14Speaker 1: with the couple and fifteen other people. My husband and
- 55:17Speaker 1: I both hate text groups, but we humored the couple
- 55:21Speaker 1: because they are really nice people. The couple started the
- 55:24Speaker 1: group chat so they could send us pictures of their
- 55:27Speaker 1: newborn daughter. We got pictures of the child almost daily,
- 55:31Speaker 1: and the mother would send us a text message if
- 55:33Speaker 1: we didn't respond. They've always bragged about how beautiful this
- 55:38Speaker 1: child is, and I don't want to be rude, but
- 55:41Speaker 1: she's not cute at all. When we got her newborn picture,
- 55:46Speaker 1: my husband Darnier, screamed. And whenever we see this little
- 55:49Speaker 1: girl in person, I have to watch my facial expressions.
- 55:53Speaker 1: This little girl looks like an older woman in the face.
- 55:56Speaker 1: She never smiles, and her afros lopsided and dry all
- 56:00Speaker 1: the time, and her face looks as she She's two
- 56:04Speaker 1: years old now and we're still getting pictures. We want
- 56:07Speaker 1: to kindly ask that we'd be removed from the text group.
- 56:11Speaker 1: If I see one more picture of this child looking crazy,
- 56:14Speaker 1: I might just have to pull them aside and suggest
- 56:17Speaker 1: they fix their daughter up a bit. It's nothing to
- 56:20Speaker 1: brush a little grease in her hair and add a
- 56:22Speaker 1: few burettes in it, and maybe put some vasiline on
- 56:25Speaker 1: her lips. Maybe they should also tickle the baby so
- 56:28Speaker 1: she will smile on some of her pictures. Oh, but
- 56:31Speaker 1: forget all of that. We want, I know, I know,
- 56:39Speaker 1: we want to. I just want Okay, let me finish.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Maybe they should also tickle the baby so she'll smile
- 56:46Speaker 1: on some of her pictures. But forget all of that. Okay,
- 56:49Speaker 1: we want to leave the texting group altogether. We just
- 56:51Speaker 1: don't want to upset our friends. I'm sure we are
- 56:54Speaker 1: not the only ones that want the pictures to stop.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I'm embarrassed for feeling this way with an us in child.
- 57:00Speaker 1: What should we do? Oh, this is so sad, This
- 57:05Speaker 1: is so sad. I'm with you on one thing. I
- 57:08Speaker 1: do not like group text messages either. I don't. I would.
- 57:11Speaker 1: I would step up and say something about that. Just
- 57:14Speaker 1: leave me out, or stop responding, or just stop responding
- 57:17Speaker 1: to the group text messages. Even if they text you
- 57:20Speaker 1: back and say did you get it? Just stop responding.
- 57:22Speaker 1: I think they'll get the message about the text texting
- 57:26Speaker 1: group sooner or later. But about the baby that you
- 57:29Speaker 1: say is not cute, it's not the baby's fault. It
- 57:31Speaker 1: just it just really isn't be as sweet to the
- 57:34Speaker 1: baby as you possibly can when you see her her fault.
- 57:38Speaker 1: You said, she looks like an older woman in the face.
- 57:41Speaker 1: I think maybe one day she'll grow into her face.
- 57:44Speaker 1: I you know, I told you guys, I think was yesterday.
- 57:47Speaker 1: I had really really big eyes when I was a baby.
- 57:50Speaker 1: I grew into my eyes. But I grow into them, Steve,
- 57:55Speaker 1: I did, I did. Um, Yeah, I'm trying. Oh this
- 58:02Speaker 1: little baby, it's not her fault. Just leave the texting
- 58:05Speaker 1: group if that's really all you want to do, just
- 58:08Speaker 1: leave there. Uh and you know, yeah, to feel this
- 58:12Speaker 1: way about an innocent child, I mean, I understand that,
- 58:15Speaker 1: and it is again not the child's fault. What should
- 58:17Speaker 1: you do? First and foremost, get out of the text group? Okay?
- 58:20Speaker 1: If they ask you what's wrong, just say you get
- 58:23Speaker 1: you're really busy and you don't have time. Okay, don't
- 58:26Speaker 1: comment on the baby. Don't make any uh, you know,
- 58:30Speaker 1: disparaging remarks about the baby or anything like that. It's
- 58:33Speaker 1: not the baby's fault. Leave the baby out of it. Okay, yeah,
- 58:37Speaker 1: the baby. Yeah, leave the baby alone. Yeah, I have to,
- 58:43Speaker 1: I have to. And this is a baby, you guys,
- 58:46Speaker 1: all right? Saying the fact that the baby look like
- 58:53Speaker 1: an old woman ain't got nothing to do with this
- 58:54Speaker 1: little Benjamin. But look at that little bonnet on this
- 59:00Speaker 1: little Benjamin, butch looking thing. He want us to be
- 59:03Speaker 1: all right with you? And then the second thing, sheirley
- 59:08Speaker 1: and all I'm saying in time you take it over.
- 59:11Speaker 1: You said that the baby is on the picture and
- 59:14Speaker 1: the baby never smiles. Yeah, that's what it said. That's
- 59:19Speaker 1: called she knows he found out she knows. She went
- 59:28Speaker 1: by the mirror in the stroller in the mall. She
- 59:33Speaker 1: looked over the head went, I be I know they
- 59:41Speaker 1: ain't pushing me around this mall looking like this. I
- 59:45Speaker 1: ain't got no lotion on, I ain't got this damn bonnet.
- 59:49Speaker 1: It's crooked. My afro stuck on. Come to me. I'm
- 59:55Speaker 1: sitting over here looking like a little man. If you
- 59:58Speaker 1: don't take my as to the house, yeah, maybe your
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: friends can keep the baby. And like my daddy, I'm
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: a two year old girl. My father. I thought you
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: only had two things to say. Okay, I'm sorry. Tommy's
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: gonna do the letter. We come back, all right, Listen,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: we're gonna come back with part two of this letter.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Steve's gonna give Tommy his chance to respond to this
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: letter subject your baby isn't cute at all. We'll be
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: back at twenty three minutes after the hour, right after
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: this and two years I ain't got a compliment you're
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: listening to? All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: strawberry letter, subject to your baby is not cute at all? Wow, Well,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: tom going to go this little baby. This show years old,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: years old. It's over, Shirley tried to relate to the
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: fact that she had big ass when she was a baby.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: You didn't you still got, and that leaves no hope
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: for this baby growing. The baby looked like a little
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: man right now. She looked like a little old man
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: laid on, she said, a woman in the face. Go ahead, Tommy,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: all right. I think what we have here is a
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: situation where I've been taught early on eye for eye
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: or two for two, fight five with five. You're gonna
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: have to fight ugly with some more ugly. Does that
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: make sense so far? Ye know, when you see these
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: ugly pictures coming, don't just sit there and look at
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: it and keep on by your day. Come back with
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: some more ugly, all right. When they sending that baby,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: pitch out, boom, first one, you hit back, Dennis Rodney,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: You're gonna You're gonna play your ugly card against the
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: ugly card. Keep coming with it. As soon as they
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: send another picture of that baby. Oh Lord, hit them back,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: wicked witch to East. You just keep coming with more ugly.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: It's enough ugly people in this world that you can
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: keep sending back via text that all these couples on
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: this dog on text chat. I promise you they are
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: going to be saying you've been doing what we've been
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: wanting to be due how many people? How many ugly
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: people do y'all know, you know, a punch out of them,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: then died, then did up against these ugly babies. Yes,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: this ain't about the baby. It's about the parents that's
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: sending the baby. The baby don't know we're sending these
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: ugly pictures back. Send some ugly pictures to fight these
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: ugly uncle Steve, when you used to get baseball card,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: then trade the men with other baseball card, whichever ones
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: was good against the other one. Didn't you do that
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: with your boys? Yes, but ugly pictures, but quite ugly
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: more pictures, Tommy, Huh. The parents think she's beautiful, and
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: if you're sending enough ugly pictures, they're gonna get the picture.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Other people don't recognize beauty. Enough pictures and they'll get
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: the picture. Your baby ugly, all right, and sometimes you
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: might have to just blatantly come on out with it
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: in test text back. Please don't send me no more
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: of the ugly baby pictures. Oh, I've been trying since
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: the baby got here, but damn it I got to
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: say it now, huh said thank you? So you're proud
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: of him, you're proud of him. I've seen what ugly
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: begots ugly, Shirley, you know, but not if you don't
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: know that they're ugly. But that's the problem, Shirley. Even
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: the people that own the baby don't know the baby ugly,
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: and they probably ugly too. It ought to be a
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: sin for two people, two ugly people, to get together
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: because you bring another the baby. Don't with two ugly people, mate,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: they're bringing another ugly one in the world. Okay, Now
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: the baby don't know she ugly or he ugly yet.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: They don't know that yet. Okay, don't And what the
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: last thing wait, wait and wait on the last thing
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: you want to do is tickle an ugly baby. Do
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: you know what you find? What you find to get
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: something funny? Ass ugly? Now that's what you find to get.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: You got funny ugly falling at the dogs, gonna stroll?
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Do you hit me? Tickle an ugly baby and see
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: what poper baby? I understand, Shirley, And don't have no
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: mirrors and stuff in that baby room. Well let that,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: let let it, let it time go by. Oh, they
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: got to see their set. Don't let the baby when
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: they brush their teeth in the morrow, don't look in
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: the mirror. Don't do that. I don't wear it. Don't
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: do that. Brush their teeth, turned their head the other way.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: But comb this baby hair. Get him as pretty ugly
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: as you can comb the hair, wash their face, put
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: some lotion on. Get I'm ready for school. That's as
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: pretty ugly as you can get. She said. Her afro
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: is lopsided, and it's time. I'll put a wig on
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: the baby. That might hear a wig on a two
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: year old. They got baby wigs? Hey, what else we got?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: They got baby? Quick, get our baby wigs and do
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: it like a baby. What a baby whig? You get
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: a baby WHIGNA baby gonna look a whole lot better
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: than way they're looking. Now, you're still proud. I'm just checking.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: You're still happy with your nephew. Well you know I
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: got it. I want to say thank you man. You
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: made me proud. All right, baby, pay some stuff that
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: I would have said, yes, yeah, yeah, Sometimes you have
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: to do it like that. That ain't our problem. We
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: are not supporting ly children. Give me my money. Give
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: me a mad donation. Right back up, You guys are
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: so wrong. Listen, post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: and Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook, and check
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now coming up
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: at forty six after the hour of vegan sues Burger
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: King over impossible meatless whoppers. We will tell you about
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening to show well a
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: bunch of vegans. Have you guys heard about this story?
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: A bunch of vegans are suing Burger King because they
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: want to have their impossible burgers their way now. They
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: want them pristine without any meat residue on the grill.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: All of that, okay. Philip Williams just filed a class
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: action lawsuit claiming that Burger King advertises the Impossible Burger
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: as a vegan alternative to his meat burgers, yet they're
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: all cooked on the same grill. William says his burger
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: was contaminated by meat products. He bought the burger in
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: question in Atlanta. Uh Williams also notes that there have
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: been numerous complaints posted online by outraged vegans. Williams not
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: only wants damages, he wants the judge to order Burger
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: King to stop cooking impossible burgers and the regular burgers
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: on the same grill. What do you guys think about that?
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Does he have a point or not? Everybody? Yeah, I
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: eat wapple Uh huh, well, yeah, he got some of
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: your whoppers say all that we have the impossible burger. Yeah,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: they ain't told you nothing else. They got him the
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: where the heir you want them to cook at? It's
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: possible for you to call your ass somewhere and get
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: you something else to eat. That's that's what's possible. Yeah,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: and it's also possible that don't nobody give a damn
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: about this but you Yeah, well you know, he said
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: a lot of people are outraged about this because they
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: do not want their uh, plant based meat. Don't hit
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: the same meat? You Why how you at Burger King
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: trying to get a damn impossible president. They've been serving
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: the same flame bro burger for years. I used to
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: break down you scrap now you're talking about Let me
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: ask you this. You're scraped quick the damn meat they're
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: gonna have to get. Scrape the grill down. When you
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: scrape the grill down, what you say, No, there's no
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: flat grill at Burger King. No, but I'm talking about that.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: He's on the rack right, you scrape down, roll across
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: a flame, right right? Wash it? Oh you have to
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: clean it. Well, he's mad because he's he's at a
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: meat restaurant on a vegan dish. Burger Keen is the
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: name of this place. It's ridiculous. Man. If you want
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: to be a vegan, that's an absolutely wonderful choice that
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: you've made. Don't make everybody require everybody to service you
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: at at a meat eating place and you vegan. Yeah,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: your vegan ass somewhere where they put only vegan items
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: on the drill, Yeah, got that impossible. Burger somewhere else
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: where's your burger key man? Because they put it on
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: an open flame. That though, that's what it is. He
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: likes it. Yeah, all right, Well coming up, that's it.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: You heard it. Coming up. At the top of the hour,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: A dad shares his ten year old daughters price Christmas
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: pricy Christmas list. We'll talk about that right after this.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Well, guys about now. A lot
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: of kids, a lot of kids start making out their
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Christmas lists. You know, what they want for Christmas? One
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: father wound up really shocked at the list of stuff
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: his ten year old just requested for Christmas. Father, who
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: goes by the name of A Johnson four twelve a
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: underscore Johnson four twelve on Twitter, just shared his daughter's
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: handwritten Christmas list, which contained a lot of pricey items
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: like an iPhone eleven for instance, AirPods, a MacBook Air,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: a pair of Gucci sliders, a Chanel purse, pink. I
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: was gonna say this sounds like my Christmas list music video. Yeah,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: pink pumas, a real bunny, Essential oils, and even four
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: thousand dollars. It's a ten year olds list. Uh. The
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: dad captioned the list. My ten year old daughter must
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: be out of her mind with this Christmas list. Yeah,
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: but you know, hey, that's what she wanted, so that's
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: what she put on the list. She doesn't understand how
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: to get our ass? Is that the real bunny? Get that?
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: That's it? What about the h what about the eleven?
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: You're getting the damn bunny and have a phone older
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: than you, right that your phone is older than you.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Did you, guys ever put anything outrageous on your Christmas lists?
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: We didn't do that. Yeah, I never to get I
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: was hoping to get this one. Damn im I want it.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: What I land think I need to do is piss
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: him off. Oh you crazy, You must not want a
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: damn thing I wish I had. I didn't play the
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: games with my father. What you want for Christmas? Well, bike,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: We ain't get no bike this year? What else you want? Okay? Cool?
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: I just want something. Yeah, and then the next year
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I got the bike, so I was cool. We ain't
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: get no bike? What else you want? And they cheap?
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Now bikes is cheap. Now it's like they were cheap.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Kids don't go outside. They stay outside on there and
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: they stay inside on their iPhone and level not go outside.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: You can't tell them. You're gonna make me man, you
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: ain't gonna be ale to go outside. That means nothing.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Oh yeah, they don't go outside, Steve, No, they do
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: not go outside. So bikes is cheap because of that. Well,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: I mean that's one of the reasons. I mean, when
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: you really think about it, how many people you actually
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: see kids riding bikes? These nays, Yeah, you don't see that.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: You see way more adults now writing kids. Wow, crazy,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I guess I don't I don't get I told my nephew,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: we get some trash under the tree. He said, what tree.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: You don't even know what Eddie. Yeah, he didn't know.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Tree was go get the trash. Mother to tree out there,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Mama yard, what tree? I love your family, you'll get
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: you behind. I think we'll get trash. Yeah. Kids, kids,
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: you know, they're on their they play their games, their
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: video games, or they're on their iPhone to their iPads.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: They do not go outside like will you can buy
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: you could buy a phone, iPad and some gift cards
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: and they don't care after that. Yeah, they're happy, happy. Yeah.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: All I wanted was dolls and clothes. Dolls and clothes,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: and I got that, so I was cool and I
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: loved going outside. But toys, they don't care about the
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: cloth that damn big will clothes with a big whe
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Oh no dolls, Oh my goodness. Yeah. But um yeah, Steve,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: it's an amazing thing. That's why you know a lot
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: of kids have weight issues and things like that because
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: they don't move around like we did, you know, and stuff.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: So it's quite different. Wow. Yeah, it's quite different to
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: uh huh, what would you say, Tommy? You go to
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: one I wanted. I wanted roller skates that you skating
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: in the skating rink. I wanted though, so I told
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: my dad I wanted some roller skates. I didn't go
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: in detail. He gets me the ones you have outside
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: that you still have your shoe own and just slip
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: it on top of the skates. It braces on. Yeah, yes, yes,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: all right, coming up, more music, more fun. Marshan Annigan's
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: on the Steave Harpy Morning Show. We'll be back in
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this you're listening show.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Representative Eric Swalwell seemed to pass gas live on National TV,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: but MSNBC says, as it turns out, it was apparently
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: a studio mug. The California congressman was doing an interview
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: with MSNBC's Hardball with host Chris Matthews. You know him, Steve,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: and while he was going on and on about Ukraine,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: then you heard something that sounded like he passed casts
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: live on the air. Take a listen, Chris. So far,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: the evidence is uncontradicted that the President used taxpayer dollars
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: to ask the Ukrainians to help him cheat an election.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: He did. That's that's what he did, yeah, because he
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: was lying flatulence but saying I can't hold the truth.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: No moment, well, representative swawell lie not your mouth, but
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: the truth don't come out. Even the presentative even paused
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: a moment right afterward and what many viewed as an
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: acknowledgement of the ripped gas and of course it was
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: soon started to trend everywhere on Twitter as a result. However,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: sorry to disappoint the conspiracy theorist guys, Chris Matthew says
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: it was a hashtag hardball mug scraping across We heard
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: that black people know. Yeah, everybody know. He knew You
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: saw his face, all right. More of the Steve Harvey
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Morning Show.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Bill Gates, guys, is once again the richest person in
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: the world. On Friday, Bill Gates surprised Amazon CEO Jeff
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Bezos to reclaim the title other richest person in the
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: world with the networks of You ready for this number,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Guess it's Steve that would probably we think about one
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: hundred eighty four billion. Well some parts of that you
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: got right. One hundred and ten billion, one hundred and
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: ten billion dollars billion with the ball Joe, how must
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: the god from Amazon seventy but probably who happened he
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: got a divorce? Remember he had split it. How how
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: much does Bill Gates? He one hundred and ten billion dollars?
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: Now this is according to Bloomberg. That's all. I know.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: You didn't fix your mouth to say that's all. Yeah,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: that's how I hated. Yeah. Yeah, damn. I thought I
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: thought he has some paid he's not doing good stick
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: you know, Jeff Piezos had one hundred and seventy billion.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: I thought you was gonna top that. You know, any
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: guy divorced. That's the only reason you Number one. Bill
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: has regained the lead because Microsoft shares are up nearly
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: forty eight percent this year. That's where the money's coming here.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: He's not the richest man in the world. Y'all have
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: to stop, is it why you say that the richest
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: man in America? In America? All? Okay, they are nowhere
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: near the richest man in the world. You don't understand.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: They don't have a tax system in the Middle East.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: There's no trace in these people's money. They have unforeseen
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: money you can't trace the saw these money. They have
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: unforeseen money. You can't imagine the money these cats got
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: into Abu Dhabi. You can't imagine it can't so as
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: there's no tax system, they'd be laughing. I was in
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: a meeting over there and somebody said Jeff Bezos was
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: the richest person in the world with one hundred and
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: seventy billions. Five of them dudes at table started that
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: why because that was absurd to them, and he's obviously
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: I was by far the police person a task to him.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: That hundred and seventy had my undivided WHOA that's man
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: right there. They started laughing. That is nothing. They were
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: talking about what their uncle got and what he got.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Another dude with part of that day was that you
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: made that. You made uh, you made that last year?
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Wowkat These dudes his own one no easy. Bill Kates
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: the richest person in America, hain't be any wow. He
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: commented on his wealth response to Senator Elizabeth Warren's proposed
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: wealth tax Gate, said he has paid more than ten
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: billion dollars and would even pay twenty billion in taxes,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: but having to pay one hundred billion, he would have
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: to see what he had left over. All right, coming
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: up our last break of the day, and of course
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: at forty nine minutes after the hour right after this.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve, Here we are our last
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: break of the day. We need you like never before.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Please send this home. Hey, you know what I want
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: to do. Yes, I shared this with you all. Now
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: what I want to do is I kind of shared
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: this with you all, but I think I should really
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: share it with everybody. I was reading something today, you know,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: I try to every day. I don't make it every day,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: but I try to have a morning meditation. I try
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: to do morning meditation. I really try to just become
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: a better person, you know. And it's in in doing so,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: you know, you got to really start really checking yourself
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: and trying to find the things that can move you
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: into a better place. Tommy sent me something on the
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: phone after I share with him what I'm about to
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: share with you all, and it's a plaque that says
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I'm slowly becoming the person that I should have been
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: a long time ago. And that's that's really what this
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: is about. And I want to talk to you about
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: that that I'm slowly becoming the person that I should
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: have been a long time ago. The part of that statement, though,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: is for me to be who I am now, I
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: had to and we all had to go through what
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: we went through to be who we are today. But man,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: don't you oftentimes wish you had gotten it right sooner?
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: I know you're not supposed to live your life with regrets, man,
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: but as we all start becoming the person that you
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: should have been a long time ago, I'm gonna give
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: you some information that's gonna help you because it helped me.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: During my morning meditation, I was reading something and I'm
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: i gonna read it to you exactly the way it
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: read to me, but I'm gonna share it with you.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna put it in my own words to
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: help you understand something. I was reading something about how
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: God feels about us when we are desire and seek
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: out things more than we do him. They call those
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: things idols. I guess you know you hear old people say,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: you know, worship idols and stuff. It's not just talking
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: about a gold statue or something like that. It's talking
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: about anything that you place of more significance than your creator.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Anything that you're after, you seek and you put more
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: value on than your relationship with your career. That's just
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: an idol, whether it's money or whatever it is. You know,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: it could be any other thing. But here's what really
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: messes up a lot of blessings. Man. And this was
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: so happening to me, and I read this this morning
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: and it sort of it just jacked me up all day,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: but in a good way. And I'm gonna share with you.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna just paraphrase it. And it was telling me
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: that when you are so determined to get your own weight,
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: and you all have been there, when you just want
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: your own way, you end up blocking God out of
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: your consciousness. Because see, when you seek your own way,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: your own understanding, your own goals, your own mindset, you're
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: taking God out of the equation. So what he wants
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: us to do instead of going about your purpose pursuing
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: some single minded goal that you might have, he really
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: would refer he really would prefer that you talk to
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: him about it. So before you go out set full
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: scale on these goals, dreams, aspirations that you might have,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: he really wants you to talk to him about it,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: because what he wants you to do when you talk
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: to him is to allow his presence to shine in
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: your pursuit of it. But now here's the cold party
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: in allowing you when you talk to him about it
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: and tell him what your goals and everything it is,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: and you allow him to put his presence to shine
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: his light on your pursuit. He's shining the light on
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: it so you can see it from his perspective. See,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: God wants you to see what his plan is. Because
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: if the goal that you're going for, if it fits
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: into God's plans for you, then God will help you
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: get there. But if it's not in God's plan for you,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: if you're doing something that ain't in his will for you,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: this is the hard part. If it's contrary to his
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: will for you. Do you know what he does? This
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: is how good God is man. Do you know that
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: he don't punish you for that? He don't get mad
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: at you about it. You know what I read? It
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: says that he gradually will change the desire of your heart.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: Did you hear me? He don't get mad at you
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: when you decide to go your way in and pursue
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: his dream. What he does is he just gradually changes
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: your heart so you can see it his way, so
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: you can get the way he trying to get you too,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: because his playing way better than the one you got.
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: But if you don't ever come to that understanding, man,
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: if you fight that like I've done so many times,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: if you go against his will, you're fighting against the grain. Man.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: Wouldn't it be so much slicker if you took all
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: your dreams and aspirations and goals to your creator, told
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: him about it, and then listen to him and let
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: him help you in your pursuit of it. Because in
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: your pursuit of whatever it is you want, he'll put
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: a light on it. He'll put some grace on it.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: And what that will do is it'll help you in
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: your pursuit of it. And if it's not the will
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: that he wanted you to be on in the first place,
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: he'll just gradually change your heart till you see it
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: his way. Man. Now, that ain't some grace and some
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: mercy right there? I don't know what it is. Man.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: I hope y'all understood what I just tried to say
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: to y'all. Really, do get to him first and foremost,
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: talk to him about it before you strike out. Then
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: the rest of your life will fall into place, piece
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: by piece. And that's what's starting to happen to me.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: Took me too long to get him, but I'm slowly
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: becoming the person I should have been a long time ago. God, dog,
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: that's it. Oh, drop it. I was good, See man,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: that was powerful. It really was. That helped me to day. Man.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: I hope that helps people. Yes, if it helps you,
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: it's going to help us. Well, y'all have a great weekend.
