- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You'll listening to the voice. Come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now one and only. Uh, Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show, Yeah you do. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:12Speaker 1: radio show. But like I said the other day, you
- 2:14Speaker 1: got something too, though, don't you. God hadn't done something
- 2:17Speaker 1: wonderful for you. You just gotta thank Him for it,
- 2:20Speaker 1: you know, in the midst of all that's going on
- 2:23Speaker 1: in my life and in your life. You know, I
- 2:26Speaker 1: always use myself as an example because well, I mean
- 2:30Speaker 1: that way. I guarantee one hundred percent I know what
- 2:32Speaker 1: I'm talking about. Um, here's the situation, you know, with
- 2:37Speaker 1: everything that's going on in my life and all the
- 2:39Speaker 1: things I'm asking God for in the midst of a
- 2:46Speaker 1: taxing and a very trying situation, that's very challenging for
- 2:50Speaker 1: me right now. Man, God just keeps on keeps on
- 2:55Speaker 1: surprising me. He keeps doing things. And I want you
- 2:59Speaker 1: to look at your life. Or for a second, let's
- 3:03Speaker 1: make two columns here. Let's make a column of all
- 3:07Speaker 1: the things you want from God. You know, just do
- 3:10Speaker 1: that throughout the course of the day. You know, you know,
- 3:13Speaker 1: run down the list of all the things you're asking
- 3:15Speaker 1: God for, all the things you're praying for, the things
- 3:18Speaker 1: you aspire to, what your dreams, your visions, whatever it is.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Just make a column a list of all those things.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Let's make three lists. And then the second list, I
- 3:29Speaker 1: want you to make a list of everything that you've
- 3:34Speaker 1: been asking God for, so I guess that could be
- 3:37Speaker 1: a little bit of the same. But this third list,
- 3:40Speaker 1: I want you to do a check off point. I
- 3:42Speaker 1: want you to do a make a list of everything
- 3:45Speaker 1: that God has given you that you've asked him for.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Just think about it like that for a second. I
- 3:52Speaker 1: may be explaining a little wrong right now, but I'm
- 3:54Speaker 1: gonna pull it together for you. Make a list of
- 3:57Speaker 1: everything you're asking God for. It just listed. You know.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It's okay, it's a dream board. You can call it that.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I got one. It's a vision board. You know, everybody's
- 4:06Speaker 1: got something you hope for. Make a list now. I
- 4:09Speaker 1: want you to make another list of everything you've asked
- 4:14Speaker 1: God for that he's given you already. See this is
- 4:18Speaker 1: a good list because sometimes and what I've been guilty of,
- 4:23Speaker 1: and maybe you two in my request list on my
- 4:27Speaker 1: dream board. I keep focusing so hard sometimes on the
- 4:32Speaker 1: what I'm yet to receive. I keep focusing so hard
- 4:36Speaker 1: on the what I hope he gives me. I keep
- 4:40Speaker 1: focusing so hard on the things that I yet not
- 4:43Speaker 1: fulfilled in my life that sometimes, as he starts checking
- 4:49Speaker 1: off my wish list the things I've asked for in
- 4:52Speaker 1: the past that have come to pass that he's given me,
- 4:56Speaker 1: I sometimes, in praying for what I want forget to
- 5:01Speaker 1: thank him for what he's done for me. And I'm
- 5:04Speaker 1: currently in the middle of that situation. And this morning
- 5:07Speaker 1: when I woke up, I really, man, I just got
- 5:09Speaker 1: on my knees this morning and I quit tripping for
- 5:11Speaker 1: a second. I said, Man, hey, God, you know what
- 5:14Speaker 1: I really do need all them things I'm asking for,
- 5:18Speaker 1: and I'm really am believing that You're gonna give it
- 5:20Speaker 1: to me. But in the meantime, though, Man, have I
- 5:23Speaker 1: overlooked some important details here? I had to really look
- 5:28Speaker 1: at what he's done for me. I mean, look, man,
- 5:31Speaker 1: take yourself out of it personally and look, well, you
- 5:34Speaker 1: can leave yourself in it however you want to be.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Some people can't do that, So just leave yourself in
- 5:38Speaker 1: it there. But man, I started looking at the eye
- 5:41Speaker 1: part of me, and I started looking around at the
- 5:44Speaker 1: what's happening overall, Like, man, he has kept my family
- 5:48Speaker 1: together in spite of the attempts to tear it apart.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I look at all of that. I look at how
- 5:54Speaker 1: he's blessing my children with the desires of their heart,
- 5:57Speaker 1: which I pray for my kids. You know, I want
- 5:58Speaker 1: my kids to have a better life than I've had.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I really really do. I don't want them to take
- 6:04Speaker 1: as long as it took me to get it together.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I really really don't. I'm trying to say, hey, man,
- 6:09Speaker 1: if you go to college, this is what you can be.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Don't do like your father did. Don't go three years,
- 6:13Speaker 1: drop out, throw yourself into a spiral and then got
- 6:16Speaker 1: to start to scratch all over again. You know. And
- 6:19Speaker 1: for the most part so far, you know, they're doing
- 6:23Speaker 1: quite well of it. You know, you know they they're
- 6:25Speaker 1: getting kicked around a little bit, but there's life. I
- 6:27Speaker 1: started thinking of the blessings that he's helped me overcome
- 6:32Speaker 1: with some of the previous mistakes I've made in relationships
- 6:36Speaker 1: in my life. And then I started looking about the
- 6:39Speaker 1: things he's blessed me with that I've been asking him for.
- 6:42Speaker 1: But since I've moved on from it, I forgot to
- 6:45Speaker 1: keep thinking him because I gotta always thank God for
- 6:48Speaker 1: a roof over my head because guess what, when I
- 6:50Speaker 1: was asking for the roof and I didn't really have it,
- 6:53Speaker 1: then he gave me one. Since he gave it to me, what,
- 6:55Speaker 1: I'm just cool now, I can't ever go back to
- 6:58Speaker 1: him and go, hey, man, I really to appreciate this
- 7:00Speaker 1: roof over my head because that was a time when
- 7:03Speaker 1: I was living in a car. But see, so every
- 7:05Speaker 1: morning I wake up, I gotta remember the fact that
- 7:07Speaker 1: I have a home now, because I got to look
- 7:10Speaker 1: back and go, man, that was time, Steve, when you
- 7:12Speaker 1: didn't have no home. But see, we forget what God
- 7:16Speaker 1: has done for us because in our column that won't column,
- 7:21Speaker 1: the need column, we oftentimes forget for the columns and
- 7:25Speaker 1: the check marks as He's already fulfilled in our life.
- 7:29Speaker 1: You've got to take inventory every now and then daily
- 7:34Speaker 1: if possible. But I know we're humans. We're not going
- 7:36Speaker 1: to do that. I don't. But you've got to take
- 7:39Speaker 1: inventory of your life to say, hey, what has God
- 7:43Speaker 1: done for me? You know? And remember something else too.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Change is good, but change is challenging. Accept the challenge
- 7:53Speaker 1: that it is. Look a lot of you come up
- 7:56Speaker 1: to me all the time and say, Steve Man, thank
- 7:59Speaker 1: you man, and boy you in the morning. Man, I
- 8:01Speaker 1: really be needing that, Like I under said it a
- 8:04Speaker 1: hundred times, but I'm gonna say it again, y'all. I'll
- 8:06Speaker 1: be needing it too. You know, you understand, sometimes what
- 8:12Speaker 1: God is dealing with me is for me. But now
- 8:16Speaker 1: I'm in a sharing position where I can open up
- 8:18Speaker 1: and if I just if I just quit being so
- 8:21Speaker 1: about me and become a little bit more transparent, I
- 8:24Speaker 1: can maybe some of me that's happening to me is
- 8:27Speaker 1: happening to you, and you can see some of this
- 8:29Speaker 1: in me. That's why I use myself as an example,
- 8:32Speaker 1: because man, I'm catching it too, y'all. I ain't perfect either.
- 8:37Speaker 1: So for those of you that come up to me
- 8:39Speaker 1: and say that I want you to understand these these
- 8:42Speaker 1: talks in the morning. Man, this is important for me
- 8:45Speaker 1: because man, I need these conversations from God. I need
- 8:49Speaker 1: God to continue to strengthen me, to show me the way,
- 8:53Speaker 1: to help me understand what's happening to me. And see,
- 8:57Speaker 1: as we've all those of you who have made the
- 8:59Speaker 1: decison to change, to become a better person, a better woman,
- 9:03Speaker 1: a better boy, a better girl, a better man. For
- 9:05Speaker 1: those of you who have made the decision to change,
- 9:07Speaker 1: change is a challenge, and accept the challenge because it's
- 9:10Speaker 1: gonna come. Because right out of that, here come to haters.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Here they come people you don't even know, discussing your
- 9:17Speaker 1: life and your change. If God see you really really
- 9:20Speaker 1: mean what you say in spite of what they say
- 9:23Speaker 1: about you, God will raise you above the phrase. He'll
- 9:27Speaker 1: keep promoting you, He'll keep blessing you, He'll keep moving
- 9:31Speaker 1: you up. He will use you as a show off point.
- 9:35Speaker 1: He'll show you off. Man. He'll make you. He'll make
- 9:39Speaker 1: you look good to people, man, who wish you'd fall
- 9:41Speaker 1: all day long. And so to all your haters, all
- 9:44Speaker 1: your haters will end up just watching you rise. Man.
- 9:47Speaker 1: They will watch you continue to grow. That's what God
- 9:50Speaker 1: will do for you. Man. You can fool the world,
- 9:52Speaker 1: but you can't fool God. God know your heart, He
- 9:55Speaker 1: know your every thought. Man, you're listening to show. Ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen, let me have your undivided attention. Please. This

- 14:04Speaker 1: cheating on me. Um. I never got upset with her.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I just put her out, and me and the kids
- 14:09Speaker 1: have been better off since then. Now that she's back
- 14:12Speaker 1: in the home, she doesn't want my girlfriend to come over.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I told her that she has no say so, and
- 14:18Speaker 1: she should be glad she has a roof over her head.
- 14:20Speaker 1: She's been very rude to my girlfriend, and I want
- 14:23Speaker 1: to put her out? Would I be wrong? Noh, No,
- 14:27Speaker 1: you weren't rolling. Don't she cheated on you? Yeah? What?
- 14:33Speaker 1: You take her back fault? Why aren't you gonna stay

- 15:26Speaker 1: in June. Me and my boys are going to Miami
- 15:28Speaker 1: to kick back, eat good drink, and talk a lot
- 15:30Speaker 1: of smack. Well, my wife doesn't understand why we're going
- 15:33Speaker 1: to Miami to have a good time. We were both married,
- 15:36Speaker 1: we've been married for fourteen years, and I have never
- 15:39Speaker 1: had a boy's weekend, so she's suspicious. Do I owe
- 15:43Speaker 1: her an explanation. I don't say anything when she takes
- 15:47Speaker 1: girls trips. Do so she takes she take girls chip,
- 15:54Speaker 1: you take boy chip. You're going to Miami. This is
- 16:00Speaker 1: his first Fellas trip through though, sir, Let me play
- 16:02Speaker 1: some in Miami. Ain't it can't be your first in
- 16:08Speaker 1: the US. Yeah, you got to go slow. Y'all don't
- 16:11Speaker 1: want to go Kansas City or nothing. Yeah, y'all want
- 16:16Speaker 1: to go Miss Cippo, Graceland or something. My handd boil.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Let me tell you some. Go down on Linking Square
- 16:25Speaker 1: and just pull up a chair, get yourself cigar and
- 16:28Speaker 1: pull up a chair. You're gonna be there all night,
- 16:32Speaker 1: and then get over the South Beach, go down to
- 16:35Speaker 1: that hotel with them sheets round them day beds and
- 16:38Speaker 1: be blowing in the wind and go out. Didn't get
- 16:40Speaker 1: your ass a cocktail and try to make it back home.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Burn all your shirts though the shirts or you don't
- 16:52Speaker 1: have something on them like stick perfectly. Now if you
- 16:57Speaker 1: get lipstick on your collars, listen to me, Fellas, buy
- 16:59Speaker 1: your self a packer, white bread, white brid take lipstick
- 17:05Speaker 1: out of college, just just in need to know that.
- 17:08Speaker 1: M Okay, so you've done this trick before going to
- 17:12Speaker 1: the store done by loaf used to drive around with bred.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Oh they weren't for making sandwiches. Okay, all right, Joy
- 17:25Speaker 1: in Dover, Delaware says, I'm in my mid fifties and
- 17:28Speaker 1: my husband and I lost the spark in our bedroom.
- 17:31Speaker 1: He suggested we try a threesome with the young lady
- 17:33Speaker 1: that cleans our home. This young black lady had applied
- 17:37Speaker 1: for a job at his company, but she was underqualified,
- 17:41Speaker 1: so he offered her a job as a sort of
- 17:42Speaker 1: a house cleaner, aaron girl. But I'm concerned that she's
- 17:46Speaker 1: been doing other duties for him, if you know what
- 17:49Speaker 1: I mean. Why else would he suggest a threesome with her?
- 17:52Speaker 1: M So what was she asking me? She just making
- 17:59Speaker 1: a think she's making a statement, but she wants you
- 18:02Speaker 1: to confirm or deny her suspicions. I can't confirm or
- 18:05Speaker 1: deny that. I don't know if the man having a
- 18:07Speaker 1: relationship with her at all, but he bought her up
- 18:12Speaker 1: specifically asked the threes. So now do you mean that
- 18:18Speaker 1: he gonna have to now take the idea to her
- 18:22Speaker 1: or do you think he already know it's a go?
- 18:26Speaker 1: Which one you think it is? Yeah? The way you
- 18:30Speaker 1: got problem. Yeah, yeah, because first of all, if you
- 18:35Speaker 1: want to add some spice, why is her name at
- 18:38Speaker 1: the top of the damn list. That's what she wants
- 18:41Speaker 1: to know exactly. I mean, what he's been looking at him?
- 18:47Speaker 1: What was happening? That's what she thinks. She thinks it's
- 18:51Speaker 1: more than that going on. Yeah, well, you know, you
- 18:55Speaker 1: find out in a couple of years, you know, honest
- 18:57Speaker 1: washing nigger. Yeah he did. He had a whole son
- 19:05Speaker 1: with Yeah, that little made boy looked yes, like on
- 19:09Speaker 1: he really muscular up there. Look at jes like he
- 19:24Speaker 1: ready for baby Olympia. All right, we're moving on. LaToya
- 19:31Speaker 1: and Philly says. I'm a single mom of a middle
- 19:33Speaker 1: schooler and a high schooler. My children's father has visitation rights,
- 19:37Speaker 1: but he hasn't spent much time with them since they're older.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I have a work trip coming up and I needed
- 19:42Speaker 1: him to keep the kids for a week and he
- 19:44Speaker 1: said no. He said he'd need advanced notice because he's
- 19:47Speaker 1: living with his girlfriend now and her five year old
- 19:49Speaker 1: child is in the bedroom that was for our children.
- 19:52Speaker 1: How can he choose her kid over ours? Wow? What
- 19:56Speaker 1: a loser. Well, that's messed up. You know, you got
- 20:00Speaker 1: two kids, and you know you don't need no, you
- 20:04Speaker 1: don't need no notice because the bedroom got them. Your
- 20:08Speaker 1: kid is I think it's me? Yeah, Hey, here comes
- 20:13Speaker 1: your brother scoop me this, your sister say him not
- 20:21Speaker 1: going there? And plane? Who else is going to keep them?
- 20:26Speaker 1: He's horrible? What the dad your kids? He sucks? Yep, truly,
- 20:34Speaker 1: I ain't got what should you do? I don't know? Wow,
- 20:39Speaker 1: he don't want to keep his own kids. I can't
- 20:41Speaker 1: make a man not be trifling over the air. Not
- 20:46Speaker 1: enough time? All right, celo some other stuff, Yeah, alright,
- 20:52Speaker 1: thelo thank you. Coming up next, it is the nephew

- 21:09Speaker 1: Co host Sharon Osborne is coming under fire for defending
- 21:14Speaker 1: her friend Pierce Morgan. We'll talk about that, but right now,
- 21:18Speaker 1: the nephew is here, would run that prank back? What
- 21:20Speaker 1: you got? Now? Can you hear me? Now? Can you

- 21:31Speaker 1: to speak to Sister Lauren, please vegan, Sister Lauren, This
- 21:35Speaker 1: is Brother Davids from the church. I don't know if
- 21:37Speaker 1: you know me. You might know me when you see me,
- 21:39Speaker 1: but I don't know if you just know me because
- 21:40Speaker 1: we don't really interact that much at the church. But
- 21:43Speaker 1: I wanted to give you a call. We got a
- 21:45Speaker 1: bit of a problem going on. Okay, okay, you got you,
- 21:47Speaker 1: get you. You have a minute to talk, all right? Now?
- 21:52Speaker 1: How long have you been doing uh the sign you
- 21:55Speaker 1: in the you know you in the ministry where you
- 21:57Speaker 1: do the sign language for the church? And um, you
- 22:00Speaker 1: know I noticed you up there at least two Sundays
- 22:03Speaker 1: out of a out of the month. You've been doing
- 22:06Speaker 1: it quite a while, am I right? So yes, I've
- 22:09Speaker 1: been doing it for over ten years. But I'm really
- 22:11Speaker 1: confused as to why you're calling about this time. I'm
- 22:16Speaker 1: just really be confused. I don't know who you are.
- 22:18Speaker 1: You say that I see your faith. I may know you,
- 22:20Speaker 1: but what what does this have to do with anything?
- 22:23Speaker 1: Is how long I've been doing sigh language? I know? Okay,
- 22:27Speaker 1: so I've been doing it for years? So how how
- 22:29Speaker 1: man help you with this? Do you want? Okay? So,
- 22:32Speaker 1: no no, I'm not trying to learn any sign leg
- 22:35Speaker 1: do you do you know miss everybody call a Miss Murder.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Do you know Miss Murdle? Oh yeah, I sure do. Okay,
- 22:42Speaker 1: So Miss Murder, that's that's that's that's that's one of
- 22:46Speaker 1: my aunties right there. Miss Murder is okay, And she
- 22:50Speaker 1: gave you my number to call me. I'm what what
- 22:53Speaker 1: do you need for me? Did she get me? No?
- 22:55Speaker 1: Not what I'm getting at. So, so you know, you
- 22:58Speaker 1: know my you know, my honors is deaf. You know
- 23:00Speaker 1: she's hearing it, you know that, right? Okay? Okay, So,
- 23:04Speaker 1: so here's a problem. Ain't murderless telling us that you're
- 23:08Speaker 1: not doing the sign language right, doing the service and
- 23:12Speaker 1: like you're missing some things in the scripture or something
- 23:17Speaker 1: that's incorrect. I've been doing this for a very long
- 23:21Speaker 1: time and i know what I'm doing. So how you
- 23:24Speaker 1: So she told you for me to tell me that
- 23:27Speaker 1: I'm not doing the slings correctly, let me say, let
- 23:31Speaker 1: me say this to you. Let me I don't want
- 23:32Speaker 1: us to get off on the wrong foot. Let me
- 23:33Speaker 1: just say this to you. Once, my once, my Ain't
- 23:35Speaker 1: Murder told us what was going on. You know. We
- 23:39Speaker 1: then went to one of the deacons and asked him,
- 23:41Speaker 1: you know, is that way we can uh have a meeting,
- 23:44Speaker 1: you know, with with with sister Lawrence so we can
- 23:46Speaker 1: try to get this taken care of and talk about it.
- 23:48Speaker 1: He said, well, won't you just won't you just call
- 23:51Speaker 1: and y'all can just work it out. And and that's
- 23:53Speaker 1: how I'm calling you now. I hope you don't know
- 23:56Speaker 1: if you're at work or whatever. I apologize, but I'm
- 23:58Speaker 1: just trying to get to the bottom of Now. Let
- 24:00Speaker 1: me gonna say this. If my ain't myrtles say that
- 24:03Speaker 1: you ain't signing right, then my ain'tie ain't lying. That
- 24:07Speaker 1: means your excuse me, that means you ain't signing right. Really,
- 24:12Speaker 1: so the pastor couldn't come to me, but he but
- 24:15Speaker 1: you figured you would just call me and tell me
- 24:18Speaker 1: that your auntie says that I'm doing it incorrectly. That
- 24:21Speaker 1: doesn't make sense to me. How did she tell you that?
- 24:23Speaker 1: Did she sign it to you? She signed language to
- 24:26Speaker 1: her daughter. Listen, you ain't got to worry about who
- 24:29Speaker 1: she's signing too. What you need to worry about is
- 24:31Speaker 1: getting your getting your stuff together all right and learning
- 24:35Speaker 1: how to do this the correct way so that my
- 24:37Speaker 1: ain'tie can get You know, my antie needs to be
- 24:40Speaker 1: getting the word like everybody else getting the word, but
- 24:42Speaker 1: she not getting it because you the words getting lost
- 24:44Speaker 1: in your hands. All I'm hearing is your voice is
- 24:48Speaker 1: getting very loud and you need to match my tone.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Young man. Okay, let's start with that. Which I mean? Man?
- 24:56Speaker 1: Young man? What is that? Match my tone? Because you're
- 24:59Speaker 1: getting very loud and I can't hear through all of that.
- 25:02Speaker 1: All right, okay, okay, I am a trading situation. You
- 25:07Speaker 1: called my phone. Correct, you have a problem that you're
- 25:10Speaker 1: discussing with me, but you're getting more anger than anything else.
- 25:13Speaker 1: How am I going to resolve this problem? I am
- 25:16Speaker 1: trying to be a court where you resolve this problem
- 25:18Speaker 1: is carry your back to science school so you can
- 25:21Speaker 1: learn what you need to so my Anie can get
- 25:23Speaker 1: the word. My antie can't get out with the gospel
- 25:26Speaker 1: because you're messing it up. God anointed me to do
- 25:30Speaker 1: style language at that church, and I've been doing it
- 25:32Speaker 1: for a long time and I will continue to do so.
- 25:35Speaker 1: So don't call my phone telling me that I'm not
- 25:37Speaker 1: doing something right, you know, But do God know that
- 25:40Speaker 1: you're not doing it right? Do God know that? Does
- 25:44Speaker 1: God know that my ain't myrtle not getting the word
- 25:47Speaker 1: because of you? Named young man? Jesus, please give me
- 25:51Speaker 1: the strength to continue on with this conversation. But you
- 25:54Speaker 1: know what, Lord, I'm gonna be right back. Little. Let
- 25:58Speaker 1: me tell you something. Don't I have a call my
- 26:00Speaker 1: mother freaking phone telling about I ain't doing something? Man?
- 26:04Speaker 1: If I see you in the street, this can't I
- 26:06Speaker 1: have is gonna go upside your goddamn as? Did I
- 26:09Speaker 1: make my sub clear? I cannot believe you talking to
- 26:12Speaker 1: me like this. Oh now you want to be calm?
- 26:15Speaker 1: Now you're calm. Now you match my tone. I can't
- 26:18Speaker 1: believe you just got through talking to me like that.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Are we done? Him? So you think it's cool for
- 26:24Speaker 1: you to tell the Lord? I'll be right back, Thank you, Lord.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I needed a moment. You right, we've been on the
- 26:30Speaker 1: stone this Lord, you've been on skiing at me. I
- 26:32Speaker 1: told you to match my tone. Match my tone. I
- 26:37Speaker 1: am matching your tone. Now can I say? Can I
- 26:41Speaker 1: can I give you something else in this tone? Do
- 26:44Speaker 1: you mind? If I say something in this tone, You're
- 26:46Speaker 1: gonna hear a click in the dog real quick, go ahead, chill.
- 26:49Speaker 1: I just want to tell you in this tone that
- 26:52Speaker 1: your friend Vanda Taylor got me to prank phone call you.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I am nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 26:59Speaker 1: In your tone, who does oh Lord have mercy? Ra Bonda,
- 27:07Speaker 1: Bonda Taylor, Bonda Taylor, tell me you bet and I
- 27:11Speaker 1: put us on the radio. Put on the radio, Bond
- 27:16Speaker 1: in Jesus name, Amen radio. I'm not playing any game
- 27:22Speaker 1: from me. I think it's funny, but it thinks this
- 27:23Speaker 1: is my job here. Listen, everything is fine? Are you
- 27:28Speaker 1: having that in me? I had to tell Jesus give
- 27:30Speaker 1: me a minute because you was about to bring my
- 27:32Speaker 1: pressure up. Lord ha mercy. I don't even want to
- 27:35Speaker 1: hear this, but I will be calling Bonda because I
- 27:37Speaker 1: have some mercy. Oh Lord, Lord, Lord Father, please forgive
- 27:41Speaker 1: me stuff. Okay, you gotta you gotta do this for
- 27:45Speaker 1: me in my tone, in my tone, tell me in
- 27:48Speaker 1: your tone, what is the baddest radio show in the land?
- 27:51Speaker 1: In your tone Steve Howey Mart Show? In my tone?
- 28:02Speaker 1: All right, there you go. Do y'all know anybody that
- 28:05Speaker 1: do sign language at the church. I don't know none
- 28:07Speaker 1: of those people. I don't know him personally. I know
- 28:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna see him. I know the lady. Y'all have
- 28:11Speaker 1: it at your church call, Yes we did. You didn't
- 28:15Speaker 1: have it at you. We didn't have nothing, but you
- 28:20Speaker 1: anything wrong with you? Don't come in here. You came
- 28:25Speaker 1: in here. See, we ain't had no ramps, we ain't
- 28:29Speaker 1: had nothing. You couldn't come in here. It wasn't for it.
- 28:32Speaker 1: You can't come in here at nothing. Today We're we're
- 28:39Speaker 1: gonna put a speak out on them steps. But listen,

- 29:04Speaker 1: Don't all right thinking Nephew coming up at the top
- 29:08Speaker 1: of the hour, entertainment and national news. Right after this,
- 29:11Speaker 1: you're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. You know what, guys,
- 29:17Speaker 1: we love her. We gotta give it up to our girl,
- 29:19Speaker 1: Cheryl Underwood or shout out to Cheryl Underwood for staying cool,
- 29:23Speaker 1: keeping it classy while her co host Sharon Osborne just
- 29:28Speaker 1: went in. I mean she was defending Sharon Osborne was
- 29:32Speaker 1: defending her friend Pierce Morgan after he said that he
- 29:35Speaker 1: doesn't believe Megan Markle. Take a listen. I want you
- 29:39Speaker 1: to hear from me. I will ask you again, Cheryl.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I've been asking you during the break. I am asking
- 29:45Speaker 1: you again. And don't try and cry, because if anyone
- 29:47Speaker 1: should be crying, it should be me. This is the situation.
- 29:52Speaker 1: You tell me where you have heard him say Educate me.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Tell me when you have heard him say racist things,
- 30:02Speaker 1: and educate me. Tell me. It is not the exact
- 30:07Speaker 1: words of racism. It's the implication and the reaction to it.
- 30:13Speaker 1: To not want to address that because she is a
- 30:17Speaker 1: black woman, and to try to dismiss it or to
- 30:20Speaker 1: make it seem less than what it is. That's what
- 30:23Speaker 1: makes it racist. But but right now I'm talking to
- 30:27Speaker 1: a woman who I believe is my friend, and I
- 30:30Speaker 1: don't want anybody here to to watch this and say
- 30:35Speaker 1: that we're attacking you from being racist, and that and
- 30:39Speaker 1: and for that if I articulated anything but that, that
- 30:46Speaker 1: is why I'm saying for me. Wow. See, that's the
- 30:50Speaker 1: problem that we have with curing racism because clearly the
- 30:56Speaker 1: average some people don't even understand what racism really is. See,
- 31:01Speaker 1: because you don't acknowledge it, don't mean it don't exist.
- 31:05Speaker 1: So if a black person is trying to get you
- 31:08Speaker 1: to understand that, the mere dismissing of the fact that
- 31:11Speaker 1: this is what you're saying is hogwash and bullcrap right there,
- 31:15Speaker 1: that shows that you are not in tuned, that you
- 31:19Speaker 1: are not sympathetic nor caring of what Megan Marko maybe
- 31:24Speaker 1: have really having been subject to a feeling because you're
- 31:26Speaker 1: trying to defend the damn crown. We'll talk about give
- 31:29Speaker 1: a damn about that. Sheryl Underwood handled it articulately, but
- 31:34Speaker 1: as her big brother, let me just say this right here.
- 31:38Speaker 1: If your ass doesn't speak out against racism and you
- 31:44Speaker 1: see it and it exists, and you try to write
- 31:47Speaker 1: it off as non racism because you are uncomfortable dealing
- 31:50Speaker 1: with it, or you need to hear particular code words
- 31:53Speaker 1: or crack words to stimulate the term of racism for you,
- 31:58Speaker 1: then your ass is race not knowing? Example, Donald Trump,
- 32:04Speaker 1: I'm the least racist person. You know what, if you're
- 32:09Speaker 1: the least racist person, we know, I ask in trouble.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Thus I ask us in trouble, and been in trouble
- 32:16Speaker 1: with this dude for four years and he proved over
- 32:18Speaker 1: and over again that he was a racist. But because
- 32:21Speaker 1: you grew up in a certain environment and the way
- 32:24Speaker 1: we all talk and privilege and deal with one another,
- 32:28Speaker 1: and it's normal language to you, you don't consider it
- 32:30Speaker 1: racist because it's just how we are. But when you
- 32:34Speaker 1: present that same document to black people will tell you
- 32:38Speaker 1: it's racist. Example, Rodney King Tate, how did the jury
- 32:42Speaker 1: see an animal disobeying the police when clearly everybody else
- 32:47Speaker 1: saw ass whoop it? You know why you saw an
- 32:49Speaker 1: animal disobeying the police because you're racist. Because if it
- 32:53Speaker 1: was your white ass sitting up that getting whooped, I
- 32:56Speaker 1: bet you to thought something was wrong with it. But
- 32:58Speaker 1: since it was his black ass getting ain't the wrong
- 33:01Speaker 1: with it? Right, Cheryl, we have your back. We love you, Yes, yeah, yes,
- 33:11Speaker 1: how anybody else, Uncle Steve, lady and gentlemen, missaying trip Okay,
- 33:19Speaker 1: thank you very much, everybody. And this is a trip
- 33:21Speaker 1: with the news. Well, first off, the House of Representatives
- 33:24Speaker 1: passed President Biden is close to two trillion dollar COVID
- 33:27Speaker 1: stimulus package yesterday. It's on his desk. He's expected to
- 33:30Speaker 1: sign it tomorrow. How Speaker Nancy Pelosi says, it's just
- 33:33Speaker 1: what the country needs. The Biden American Rescue Plan is
- 33:38Speaker 1: about the children, their health, their education, the economic security
- 33:45Speaker 1: of their families. The measure was passed with no GOP support,
- 33:48Speaker 1: but Pelosi says that kind of behavior is common. She says,
- 33:52Speaker 1: Republicans quote, vote no, but take the dough. President Biden's
- 33:56Speaker 1: expected to make his first primetime national address today like
- 34:00Speaker 1: eight eight pm tonight, actually Eastern time. Today is the
- 34:03Speaker 1: first anniversary, by the way of the COVID shutdowns. It's
- 34:05Speaker 1: also the anniversary of the World Health Organization formally declaring
- 34:10Speaker 1: COVID nineteen a pandemic. Minneapolis jury selection continuing today for
- 34:15Speaker 1: fired COPA Derek Chauvin, charged with second degree murder and
- 34:18Speaker 1: the death of mister George Floyd. So far, three jurors
- 34:22Speaker 1: have been seated. They described as two white men and
- 34:24Speaker 1: a woman of color. Chauvin's charged with manslaughter and second
- 34:28Speaker 1: degree murder. Prosecutors want a third degree murder charge restored.
- 34:32Speaker 1: It was one of the charges against him, but at
- 34:34Speaker 1: lower court removed it. But third degree murder charges apparently
- 34:38Speaker 1: are easy to prove, so people don't get away with
- 34:41Speaker 1: things that the prosecutors think that they're guilty of. That
- 34:43Speaker 1: situation being decided now by an appeals court while the
- 34:45Speaker 1: jury selection continues, and we didn't get to it yesterday.
- 34:48Speaker 1: But lets the famously nasty Megan Markol hater Good Morning
- 34:53Speaker 1: Britain's peers Morgan out of a job, he says he quit,
- 34:56Speaker 1: at least for now. Morgan was starting to attack the
- 34:59Speaker 1: Princess of Sussex over the statement she made to Oprah
- 35:01Speaker 1: Winfrey when the show's weather man, his colleague dressed him
- 35:05Speaker 1: down and Morgan, well, he just stormed off the set.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I don't believe a word she says. I
- 35:10Speaker 1: understand that you don't like Megan Markle. You've made it
- 35:13Speaker 1: so clear a number of times on this program. And
- 35:17Speaker 1: I understand that you've got a personal relationship with Megan
- 35:20Speaker 1: market or had one, and she cut you off. She's
- 35:24Speaker 1: entitled to cut you off. Has she said anything about
- 35:26Speaker 1: you since she cut you off? I don't think she has,
- 35:28Speaker 1: but yet you continue to trash her. Okay, I'm done
- 35:32Speaker 1: with this. No, no, no no, sorry, no, absolutely diabolical behavior.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but Pierce spouts off on a regular basis
- 35:40Speaker 1: and we all have to sit there and listen, and
- 35:42Speaker 1: he says he was tired of it. Well, Pierce came
- 35:45Speaker 1: back briefly, but ITV received an avalanche campaign complaints about
- 35:48Speaker 1: his behavior, some forty one thousand of them, many of
- 35:52Speaker 1: them saying Morgan could apparently dish it out but couldn't
- 35:54Speaker 1: take it. Later, ITV company announced that Morgan was no
- 35:58Speaker 1: longer with the show. Back to Steve, every morning show.
- 36:01Speaker 1: You're listening to show? All right, guys, some really good news.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Listen up, pay attention. Finally, finally, finally, multiple studies are
- 36:11Speaker 1: proving that the voluptuous curves and figures of countless black women, well, guys,
- 36:18Speaker 1: they possess more benefits than just aesthetic perks. These curves
- 36:23Speaker 1: may actually help us live longer. Okay, but why is this,
- 36:27Speaker 1: you ask? Why is this nice? Yeah? Wait a minute, Steve,
- 36:32Speaker 1: let me tell you. According to blackdoctor dot org, the
- 36:35Speaker 1: type of fat found in the thighs and backsides may
- 36:38Speaker 1: actually help reduce disease as opposed to the dangerous and
- 36:42Speaker 1: life threatening effects of an abdominal fat. So see the thighs,
- 36:48Speaker 1: the thighs and the butt. That's okay. Yeah, I've just
- 36:52Speaker 1: called AM. I've been known about AM for a lot
- 36:55Speaker 1: of years, asked me. Yeah, it ad meant a lot
- 37:01Speaker 1: to me. Over you, it's really it's brightened up days
- 37:05Speaker 1: of mind. It just made me be more tentive as
- 37:10Speaker 1: a person. You know, you caused me to be a
- 37:14Speaker 1: lot more complimentary, nice danger mood, said thank you. I
- 37:22Speaker 1: can't counter time. Thank you. Tell them what I am doing?
- 37:25Speaker 1: Tell them what I am doing. Am. You know AM
- 37:27Speaker 1: is AM standing for the acronym I am. You know
- 37:30Speaker 1: that I am. You know I am? Ask me? You
- 37:34Speaker 1: know I am important, I am real, I am here
- 37:39Speaker 1: and more importantly, I am yours. Yeah, let's have an
- 37:47Speaker 1: ass meet march now. Wait, no, So if you're just
- 37:51Speaker 1: tuned it in, what are you talking about? Because people
- 37:54Speaker 1: be like you just tuning in all right, listening to
- 38:00Speaker 1: blackdoctor dot org. The type of fat found in the
- 38:03Speaker 1: thighs and in the butt area may actually help reduce
- 38:07Speaker 1: disease as opposed to the dangerous and life threatening effects
- 38:09Speaker 1: of stomach fat. Okay, belly fat, that's what they're saying.
- 38:13Speaker 1: And so you call it dam Steve, Yes, yams, shot
- 38:19Speaker 1: for yam. What's yam? What's they asked me? Yeah, looking
- 38:29Speaker 1: at yam. You know, it's just been a life changing
- 38:33Speaker 1: for me, and I want to thank y'all all these
- 38:36Speaker 1: years of providing me with just hours and hours just
- 38:45Speaker 1: whoa somebody yam for me? Yes? All right, So listen,
- 38:57Speaker 1: don't take this news the wrong way. This is only
- 38:59Speaker 1: true to a certain degree, as obesity increases your chances
- 39:02Speaker 1: of developing chronic health conditions, so please take care of yourself.
- 39:06Speaker 1: This is because her studies. Researchers found that not all
- 39:10Speaker 1: fat is created equal. Okay, so there you go. Yeah,
- 39:14Speaker 1: all right. We'll be back with more of the Steve
- 39:17Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty four minutes after
- 39:20Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 39:25Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. President Biden's one point nine trillion dollars
- 39:30Speaker 1: COVID nineteen relief bill has passed. This bill is now
- 39:35Speaker 1: on President Biden's desk for his signature. That is a
- 39:39Speaker 1: good thing. The package includes yes, up to fourteen hundred
- 39:42Speaker 1: dollars stimulus checks. President Biden and Vice President Harris May
- 39:47Speaker 1: the Stimulus Build, their first major legislature legislative initiative since
- 39:52Speaker 1: taking office. Now, did you see speaker how Speaker Nancy
- 39:56Speaker 1: Pelosi do the shimmy dance as she banged the gabbl Yeah,
- 40:04Speaker 1: it's an important bill right here. This is got a
- 40:07Speaker 1: swag bag Democrats. Yes, the people, Yes, thank you. I'm
- 40:12Speaker 1: trying to help him out. Yeah. Da. Also, here's a
- 40:23Speaker 1: reminder to stay woke. We cannot sleep on anything because
- 40:27Speaker 1: there is an election coming up next year, you know.
- 40:29Speaker 1: And Republicans are pushing hard to change the voting laws.
- 40:32Speaker 1: GOP lawmakers are trying to rewrite election laws in Georgia,
- 40:36Speaker 1: in Iowa, Arizona, Kentucky, and Florida. Republicans are trying to
- 40:41Speaker 1: get rid of mail in voting, mail in voting, which
- 40:45Speaker 1: was very important during the last election, make it harder
- 40:48Speaker 1: to early vote. If you recall, in the last election,
- 40:51Speaker 1: over seventy percent Democrats voted early. So, you know, man
- 41:00Speaker 1: trying to do it on the slick. I watch these
- 41:03Speaker 1: bills because if they kill early voting, yes, no early voting,
- 41:07Speaker 1: that's gonna mean you have to go to a poll. Yes,
- 41:10Speaker 1: they are going to remove polling places from our neighborhood,
- 41:15Speaker 1: just like they did mailboxes. They've already already reduced the
- 41:20Speaker 1: number of polling places as it is, and that would
- 41:22Speaker 1: that's voter suppression. That's how you make it hard to vote. See,
- 41:26Speaker 1: they's directed at that is directed directly at directly. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:35Speaker 1: you know, I'm trying to call it Carler, They're trying
- 41:36Speaker 1: to call it it's election security. Yes, I thought that
- 41:40Speaker 1: on the news, Junior, Yes, junior, Yeah, you can't. Yeah,
- 41:47Speaker 1: it's not Jedi mind trick. That's what they think. It's racism. Yeah, racism,
- 41:55Speaker 1: it's what it is. They always find a systematic way
- 42:00Speaker 1: to exude and and and and and impact their racism
- 42:06Speaker 1: on us anyway they can. This is nothing but racism.
- 42:09Speaker 1: It is it is, it is. You think if you
- 42:12Speaker 1: they think if they change the wording of it, like
- 42:15Speaker 1: you say, you know, it's security. You know there was
- 42:21Speaker 1: nothing wrong with the election. Y'all, Let this one soul loser,
- 42:26Speaker 1: sorry as a liar, tell you all that the election
- 42:29Speaker 1: was stolen and you all backing him because you scared
- 42:32Speaker 1: of it. Seventy some million votes that he got with
- 42:35Speaker 1: if y'all had any sense in your head. You would
- 42:38Speaker 1: get rid of this man so you wouldn't have to
- 42:40Speaker 1: keep playing to the dancing to the beat of his drum,
- 42:43Speaker 1: and you can get your party back and have some
- 42:45Speaker 1: type of decency within your party. But as long as
- 42:48Speaker 1: you got Donald Trump running things, there is no decency
- 42:52Speaker 1: in the party. Nowt that's over. It's lies, lies, lies,
- 42:57Speaker 1: And then they justify all the lives Mitchell mcconne on
- 43:00Speaker 1: all of them. They're scared of them, that bunch of cowards. Yeah. Example,
- 43:05Speaker 1: I saw that on the news yesterday too in Georgia.
- 43:08Speaker 1: They are trying to change voting laws and early. But
- 43:11Speaker 1: I said, look at them losers. Yes, we do, and
- 43:17Speaker 1: we gotta keep They'll get away with it. They'll get
- 43:19Speaker 1: away with it. They'll get away with it. Thank God
- 43:21Speaker 1: for people like Stacy Abrams, the Queen, you know, thank god,
- 43:25Speaker 1: you know. But we gotta search. Let's get on this
- 43:30Speaker 1: and research how they would go about getting something like
- 43:33Speaker 1: this past. Okay, what's the process for passing so we
- 43:37Speaker 1: can get the right amount of people on this, and
- 43:39Speaker 1: then let's invite Stacy Abrams back on to to yea
- 43:43Speaker 1: how to stop you? Yes, absolutely absolutely, it's just unstoppable.
- 43:51Speaker 1: But it's just like you said, Tommy, just because they
- 43:54Speaker 1: lost their candidate lost, you're not trying to change voting
- 43:57Speaker 1: back from us. You're not gonna do it. Not gonna
- 44:00Speaker 1: see here and now we're not gonna go back. We're not.
- 44:04Speaker 1: It's a new day, we're new voting block power and
- 44:08Speaker 1: that's how we go act and you're not getting it back.
- 44:12Speaker 1: We're here for good now. I'm sorry. Yeah, all right,
- 44:15Speaker 1: coming up next to nephew with today's prank phone call.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:25Speaker 1: four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today, the
- 44:28Speaker 1: subject check this out, guys. I had the drummer, but
- 44:32Speaker 1: I want the pastor. All right, we'll get to that. Yeah,
- 44:36Speaker 1: you heard me. I had the drummer, but I want
- 44:38Speaker 1: the pastor. We'll get to that in just a few
- 44:41Speaker 1: but right now the nephew is in the building with
- 44:44Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. What you got for us, nev
- 44:47Speaker 1: Your doors Your door founds pretty yeah, your doors simple? Yeah,
- 44:55Speaker 1: your doors. Let's go, kid, don't hello Hello, I'm trying
- 45:00Speaker 1: to reach a mister Paul. Please call Virginia seeing probably senior. Okay,
- 45:05Speaker 1: this is man. How are you doing to that? I'm good,
- 45:07Speaker 1: I'm good. Listen. My name is Mark. I'm actually calling
- 45:09Speaker 1: from a company called Doors. Are you Are you at
- 45:13Speaker 1: Good Court? Yes? Correct? You guys just built at home? Right? Yeah,
- 45:17Speaker 1: I'm like I said, my name is Mark Stevens. I'm
- 45:19Speaker 1: actually calling from Doors. We're actually the company that uh
- 45:23Speaker 1: supplied the doors that are actually throughout your house. Okay, great,
- 45:28Speaker 1: what are you calling from? A follow up? No, this
- 45:30Speaker 1: isn't a follow up. Actually, we're got a couple of
- 45:32Speaker 1: glitches we want to try and get get straighten out
- 45:34Speaker 1: if we could find uh. Well, here's here's the problem, sir.
- 45:37Speaker 1: The problem we're having is that the contractor that actually
- 45:40Speaker 1: built you all's home, yes, has not paid for the doors.
- 45:45Speaker 1: You guys have been there two and a half months
- 45:47Speaker 1: and we can't seem to get the contractor to come
- 45:51Speaker 1: in and pay for the doors. Try to call them.
- 45:54Speaker 1: We've tried to call him several times and we have
- 45:56Speaker 1: not been able to get numb for the yav on him.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Because you have a good number, I can give you
- 46:00Speaker 1: a number because I really don't have anything to do
- 46:03Speaker 1: with that. It's like you get my number. Well, actually
- 46:06Speaker 1: we had your number of files as the homeowner, and
- 46:09Speaker 1: that's pretty much how we had you. But the problem
- 46:11Speaker 1: we're facing here, sir, is we tried to get this
- 46:14Speaker 1: guy for the last couple of months and we can't
- 46:16Speaker 1: get him. So, actually, what's what's gonna happen here in
- 46:19Speaker 1: the next day or so is we're probably gonna have
- 46:22Speaker 1: to come and get all the doors. Always can do what.
- 46:25Speaker 1: We're probably gonna have to come and get all the
- 46:27Speaker 1: doors in your house, take them off and bring them
- 46:30Speaker 1: back here to the plant until we get get out
- 46:33Speaker 1: of my doors. We're gonna have to get those doors
- 46:36Speaker 1: until either we get a contractor or you know, we
- 46:39Speaker 1: get paid for the doors. Now, what could happen if
- 46:41Speaker 1: you could pay for the doors? No, no, no, already
- 46:43Speaker 1: paid for the doors. That's that's that's past tense. I've
- 46:46Speaker 1: done that, paid you, saint. Paying that means I got
- 46:49Speaker 1: a double back. Well, sir, we haven't been paid, sir
- 46:52Speaker 1: for the doors as well. No, no, no, the contractor
- 46:54Speaker 1: was paid for the doors. That's who pays you. Okay,
- 46:58Speaker 1: And what I'm trying to explain ain't you, sir? We
- 47:00Speaker 1: haven't been paid at all here at doors? Not at all? Oh?
- 47:05Speaker 1: Oh okay, well at doing they should have received a
- 47:09Speaker 1: check from my contracts you, sir, is that that hasn't
- 47:13Speaker 1: been done. So since you have not been paid, you're
- 47:15Speaker 1: gonna come back and get my doors out? You said,
- 47:17Speaker 1: We Now, who's all this you do? And who are
- 47:19Speaker 1: they gonna come? Here's the problem here? Like, no, no,
- 47:22Speaker 1: there ain't no problems. We're gonna we're gonna resolve this
- 47:24Speaker 1: very peacefully. But who who is we? Okay? So what's
- 47:27Speaker 1: taking place here? My job is they've taken this money
- 47:30Speaker 1: out of my check that hasn't been paid for the doors.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Oh yes, I can understand that, but why would they
- 47:36Speaker 1: take it out of your check? You did the man hours, you,
- 47:38Speaker 1: you've done your work. I don't understand it, sir. But
- 47:41Speaker 1: since the company hasn't been paid, the company is taking
- 47:43Speaker 1: it out on me and it's not gonna come down
- 47:45Speaker 1: on me. So either I'm gonna get the doors. Well,
- 47:48Speaker 1: you need to quit your job because they're gonna because
- 47:50Speaker 1: they need to give you a not just give you
- 47:52Speaker 1: a bonus, but give you some only work. Because bottom
- 47:54Speaker 1: line is you're talking about the company to getting my doors.
- 47:57Speaker 1: No that's not gonna happen either we were all this
- 48:00Speaker 1: peacefully as if you pay for it, or I come
- 48:03Speaker 1: out and get the doors and I'm not finishing city
- 48:04Speaker 1: and go back. You need to go in and come
- 48:07Speaker 1: get these doors. Gas up and come get these doors,
- 48:09Speaker 1: because you're not gonna come and get this. I'm not
- 48:11Speaker 1: gonna send you no money, okay, sir. Then then then
- 48:14Speaker 1: what we need to do is get a schedule time
- 48:15Speaker 1: where I can come out and get all the doors.
- 48:17Speaker 1: I'm on your time. I'm sorry. I'm on your time now,
- 48:20Speaker 1: so you got you must be paying me now since
- 48:22Speaker 1: I'm on your time, what are you talking about? Because
- 48:24Speaker 1: you're talking about you're gonna set up a time with me.
- 48:27Speaker 1: That means I have to leave and do what I
- 48:29Speaker 1: do to be meet you here to get something don't
- 48:31Speaker 1: belong to you, which is my door, so you don't
- 48:33Speaker 1: have to be there at all, because I'm gonna ta
- 48:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna come and take the front door off and
- 48:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep keep moving through the house and get
- 48:39Speaker 1: all the doors and get them back here to the player.
- 48:41Speaker 1: I don't think you hear yourself now first and almost
- 48:44Speaker 1: how you when you come to the front door. I'm
- 48:46Speaker 1: gonna be without waiting on you as you as you
- 48:48Speaker 1: taking off the match, I'm gonna be on your behind
- 48:50Speaker 1: making sure you realize you're gonna have to take this
- 48:53Speaker 1: door or take this and I'm taking. I'm pretty show
- 48:56Speaker 1: I'm coming to you and you get that first door,
- 48:58Speaker 1: so I can't keep going back and forth with you.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Let me say this to you. I'm coming to get
- 49:01Speaker 1: them doors, even if I gotta take a whipping, because
- 49:04Speaker 1: I gotta get my money back from the company that
- 49:06Speaker 1: they didn't took for me, because you damn contractors did
- 49:09Speaker 1: not pay for the damn doors. Hey, you gonna, hey
- 49:12Speaker 1: bringing your tones down when you talk to me. You're
- 49:14Speaker 1: talking to man, I'm gonna I'm gonna get this on you.
- 49:17Speaker 1: I'm not gonna allow you to come to my hearts
- 49:19Speaker 1: and take these damn doors and you ain't coming to
- 49:21Speaker 1: get no money. I'm coming to get them doors that
- 49:24Speaker 1: I'm coming to get them today. I need every do
- 49:27Speaker 1: what time you're coming. I want to be even paid
- 49:29Speaker 1: when you come next with these doors, because I make show. Please,
- 49:32Speaker 1: what KYD you're coming, don't don't worry about when I'm coming.
- 49:35Speaker 1: You don't know when I'm there when I take the
- 49:36Speaker 1: first door off the heads, every goal, we're gonna meet
- 49:40Speaker 1: at that door and whop that and tell you what
- 49:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna pay you. I'm playing dollar equippen. Now take
- 49:46Speaker 1: that check and you may takes that in thie whiping
- 49:48Speaker 1: the night. I'm gonna take that whipping if that's what
- 49:50Speaker 1: it takes. But I gotta take these doors. You want
- 49:52Speaker 1: get my money I mean to do next time, get
- 49:55Speaker 1: your damn money. Stop, get a jar to page you
- 49:57Speaker 1: better for this equipment you're gonna get in head. Well,

- 54:08Speaker 1: It is a straw baby letter. Thank en. A few subjects.
- 54:12Speaker 1: I have the drummer, but I want the pastor. Dear
- 54:15Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. About a year ago, I left my home
- 54:18Speaker 1: church to join another church. I was dating the church's
- 54:22Speaker 1: drummer and he invited me to join. I fell in
- 54:25Speaker 1: love with the atmosphere of the church, and the senior
- 54:27Speaker 1: pastor was really good. When I joined, I was asked
- 54:31Speaker 1: to help put together a praise dance team. I enlisted
- 54:34Speaker 1: the help of the associate pastor to help me. The
- 54:38Speaker 1: associate pastor is only three years older than me, and
- 54:41Speaker 1: we connected on so many levels. We went to the
- 54:44Speaker 1: same college and we have the same favorite restaurant. I
- 54:48Speaker 1: was interested in getting to know him better, but I
- 54:51Speaker 1: was in a relationship with the drummer. One Saturday, I
- 54:55Speaker 1: was at a praise dance practice with the youth and
- 54:58Speaker 1: the associate pastor my lunch from my favorite restaurant. After practice,
- 55:03Speaker 1: we ate together and had a great conversation. He said
- 55:07Speaker 1: that my boyfriend, the drummer, is a ladies man and
- 55:11Speaker 1: has been with several women in the church. That put
- 55:14Speaker 1: me at ease about breaking up with the drummer so
- 55:17Speaker 1: I could pursue the associate pastor. A month after I
- 55:21Speaker 1: ended my relationship, I told the associate pastor how I
- 55:24Speaker 1: felt about him. We talked on the phone off and on,
- 55:27Speaker 1: so I figured it was okay to let him know.
- 55:30Speaker 1: He invited me to his place to talk. One thing
- 55:33Speaker 1: led to another and we were intimate. He was exceptional
- 55:38Speaker 1: in the bedroom and too freaky to be a pastor.
- 55:41Speaker 1: We talked daily for about a week afterwards, and then
- 55:44Speaker 1: he ghosted me. I confronted him at church and he
- 55:47Speaker 1: said he was wrong to have sex with me. I
- 55:50Speaker 1: told him I wanted it and I want him. He said,
- 55:53Speaker 1: there's no way we can be together because my ex
- 55:56Speaker 1: boyfriend goes to the church. I want this man and
- 56:00Speaker 1: are so perfect for each other. Do I leave the
- 56:03Speaker 1: church so we can be together? Please advise? Oh, so
- 56:08Speaker 1: you're a role lady. Please. First of all, you're way
- 56:12Speaker 1: too gullible, way too gullible and easy. I mean, you're
- 56:16Speaker 1: listening to this man, the associate pastor bad mouth your boyfriend,
- 56:20Speaker 1: the drummer. You break up with your boyfriend, and then
- 56:24Speaker 1: you sleep with the associate pastor just based on what
- 56:27Speaker 1: he said. All he had to do was just backstab
- 56:30Speaker 1: your boyfriend and then bring you a plate from your
- 56:34Speaker 1: favorite restaurant. And now you want to leave this church
- 56:38Speaker 1: to be with this man, to try and get this man.
- 56:41Speaker 1: I just think you're a mess. You know, you're all
- 56:44Speaker 1: over the place. So he's told you that you guys
- 56:47Speaker 1: can't be together because of your ex and uh, you know,
- 56:51Speaker 1: I think you need to listen. I think you need
- 56:53Speaker 1: to really hear what he's saying to you. All he
- 56:56Speaker 1: wanted from you he got okay that first night when
- 57:01Speaker 1: you went over to his house, and you're still trying
- 57:04Speaker 1: to pursue him. I think it's over. He doesn't want
- 57:06Speaker 1: you leave it alone. Steve, Okay, I had the drummer,
- 57:19Speaker 1: but I want to pass. Everybody's familiar with the familiar line.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Get a druma soon. Yeah, literally, and messed around and
- 57:36Speaker 1: gave the drumma too much. Well, you've been dating the
- 57:40Speaker 1: church's drumma. You left your home church. Now you left
- 57:43Speaker 1: your home church for a reason for the drummer, or
- 57:48Speaker 1: maybe it was somebody she was seeing at the home church.
- 57:53Speaker 1: I wouldn't put it past he's dating the church's drumma.
- 57:57Speaker 1: He invited you to join, fell in love with the
- 57:58Speaker 1: atmosphere of the church, and the senior pastor was really good. Now,
- 58:04Speaker 1: when she joined the church, they asked her to help
- 58:06Speaker 1: put together a praise dance team. Now here we go,
- 58:10Speaker 1: right here, they asked you to put together praise dance team.
- 58:15Speaker 1: And the first thing you do is enlist the help
- 58:18Speaker 1: of the associate pastor to help me. Since when is
- 58:23Speaker 1: it the associate pastor's position to put together the praise
- 58:28Speaker 1: dance team, the kids. You already started some mess. You
- 58:36Speaker 1: had your eyes on the dude in the first place.
- 58:39Speaker 1: That's why you enlisted the help of him to help you. Well,
- 58:43Speaker 1: guess what. Then, all of a sudden, the associate past
- 58:47Speaker 1: only three years older than me and were connected on
- 58:50Speaker 1: so many levels. We went to the same college, and
- 58:54Speaker 1: we have the same favorite restaurant. Well, I guess that's
- 58:58Speaker 1: it there we're together. Yeah, well we weighing. No, sound
- 59:04Speaker 1: like a match made in heaven to me? Same college.
- 59:09Speaker 1: Didn't know each other there and you like the same restaurant. Now,
- 59:13Speaker 1: if you're in a small ass town, it ain't but
- 59:15Speaker 1: nothing down there but a show And he's at the dentist.
- 59:17Speaker 1: How favorite of a damn restaurant can it be? I
- 59:22Speaker 1: was interested in getting to knowing better, but I was
- 59:24Speaker 1: in a relationship with the drummer. So you was at
- 59:27Speaker 1: the praise dance practice, the pastor brought you some munch
- 59:30Speaker 1: from your favorite restaurant. After practice, we ate together. You
- 59:34Speaker 1: ain't don't know, A sit down on a bench somewhere
- 59:35Speaker 1: and eight had a great conversation, romantic. Then conveniently, he
- 59:41Speaker 1: just happens to tell you that your boyfriend. The drummer
- 59:45Speaker 1: is a ladies man and has been with several women
- 59:48Speaker 1: in the church. Amazing how he just bought that up.
- 59:53Speaker 1: Infinite slinging mud. Now all of a sudden put me
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: at ease about breaking up with the drummer so I
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: could pursue the associate pastor that you decided to pursue
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: when you enlisted him to help you with the praise team.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: So I ain't surprised at none of that. What you're
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: going to be surprised about is when we come back.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: What I have to tell you. Okay, all right, hold
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: onto that thought, Steve, we will definitely come back in
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour to get back into
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: this letter and get part two of Steve's response, I
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: had the drummer, but I want the pastor. We'll get
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: back into it, she did. You're listening show, all right,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. I had
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: the drummer, but I want the pastor. Is the subject.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: It's lady that left her home church and pursuit of
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: the drummer invited her to come to the church. She
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: fell in low down with the atmosphere, so she joined
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: she dating the drumma after she joined and told her,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: why don't you help put together praise dance team. They
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: could have got anybody for that. There ain't no talent
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: in picking the page dance team. Who want to try out?
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: All right? So anyway, when you found out you're gonna
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: pick the team, you enlisted the help of the associate
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: pastor to help you pick the dance team. All right.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: He's only three years older than me. We connected on
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: so many levels. We went to the same college, that
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: we got the same favorite restaurant. Well, if that's all
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: it takes ladies dance hope for everybody. Now, all you
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: gotta find is somebody like the same food you like,
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: and it is here comes to wedding, all right. Once
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: sadday you was at the praise dance practice, you've passed
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: or brought you lunch from your favorite restaurant. Y'all that
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: down talked to had a great conversation. In this great conversation,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: he informed you that your boyfriend is a ladies man,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: a player, and he has had several women at the church.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Then you said right away, well that put me in
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: ease about breaking up with your drummer. So I could
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: pursue the associate pastor, whoa you rolling? You just left
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: your other chilch. Probably was some mess going on over there.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: A month after I ended my relationship, I told the
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: associate pastor how I felt about him. We talked on
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: the phone off and on, so I figured it was
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: okay to let him know. Well, he invited you to
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: his place, one thing laying to another, and we were intimate.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: He was exceptional in the bed room and too freaky
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: to be a pastor, lady. He ain't always been the past. Yeah,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: he was something before the past. So while know why
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: be talking about he a past I don't know where
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: he got all that from from before he was the pastor,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: So he didn't obviously turned you out. We talked daily
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: for about a week afterwards, and then he ghosted me,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: so you did like most scorn people, you confronted him
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: at church. Then he told you some scripture he was
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: wrong to have sex with you. He intended to do
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: this all alone. That's why he told you your boyfriend
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: was a play. He wanted to just get you away
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: from him. He ghosted you because he threw now you
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: over there, gonna try to put some spiritual reason I
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: was wrong to have sex with you. I told him
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: I wanted it and I wanted him. He says, ain't
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: no way we can be together because your ex boyfriend
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: and go to the church. I want this man, that
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: we are so perfect for each other. Do I leave
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: the church so we can be together? Pizza? But what
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: you leave another church? Yeah? So what you really needed?
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: You really don't need to decide whether you need to
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: leave or stay. You really need to decide and find
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: out does he even won't you? Because well I don't
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: care if your ex boyfriend is the drummer, that's no
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: reason why man don't want you. See, he was too
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: freaky and you might not have been freaky enough. Oh oh,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: all these letters bring out some bad things. You have
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: to face, so many things. You have to find out
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: that you ain't all you thought you was. Now you
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: to find out he didn't ghosted you past his ghost
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: people too, but he ghosted you with a scripture. I
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: was wrong to have sexual where he was? What was
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: he wrong when he was having sex with you? Ah?
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: He just wrong for having had sex with you. See
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: it took him to say that is she broke up
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: with her with the drummer out. That's who she wanted
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: in the first place, right. Yeah, so now that's why
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: she asked the associate passer to assist her in picking
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: the praise dance team. Who needs help doing that? Yeah?
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Who gets cut from the praise dance team because you're
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: at church. You can't cut nobody from the praise dance.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: If you can't really praise dance. You stand the Holy
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: flag or you fill up the water beings and stuff.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: It's fraight of dancers. They got something for you. You
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: hold a little skinny girl rod while she hold around
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: so it looked like she flying all you just be
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: a basis sometime. Your job is just to throw a
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: little skit as praise dance. That's your job. We got
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: job for big people on phraise team. I love phraise dancers.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: I know, I know you do. Nephew, he don't want you.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: You got played And it don't matter if you leave
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: that church or not. He's not gonna stay with you.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: If you was perfect for him, he'd have you. And
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: she's going to church for the wrong man. You're going
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: to church for the wrong reasons. Yeah, needs to be
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: the church for the drummer and the pastor for the
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Lord and the atmosphere get a drama, so he did.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: And post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook. Check out the Strawberry
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Letter podcast on demand now coming up in forty six
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. The Earl of Attingham right after this.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I'm sure he has a lot to say. You're listening
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: to the st Show, all right, So the Earl of
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Attingham is here. You know, ever since the Megal Markle
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: and Megan Markle and Prince Harry interview with Oprah on Sunday, Uh,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: there's been so much fuzz about it. Yeah, you know
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: about the racism with the royals. Oh hello, hell of
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: Atingham with the mot on. What's going on? What do
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: you need you tell us? That's what we want to know.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: What is going on over there at the palace, you know,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: is down Pierce mag not for some reason. He does
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: not like Megan Megan Markle. He quit his job over
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: getting called out. Here's upset with mock all that car
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: shake him all she has I right right, I called
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: him all. He's a peasant from the royal family. He's
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: not a royal. No, he's not royal, she's a royal
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: and she's right. That's racist. Over hell, I'm the only
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: black han. You've never even seen me telling you right now,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: I'm the hidden buck. I only come on the radio.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: You've never seen me. This is true, This is true.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: There no one I'm coloring the ballas No. Wow, Now
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: have you heard of the show called The Talk over here?
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: I say I talked that. I heard about that too, Yes,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: whenever I contributors to this show. Cheryl Underwood works with
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: a brit named Sharon Osborne. Wonderful black woman. Shall I
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: know what? And if let's stopped this nonsense about these
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Brits on television. Sharon Osborne, there's a peasant town. She's
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: not remember the royal family, and she's defending his mark
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: And here she's because Shell, I know what it was
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: one hundred art. You don't have to make racist remarks,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: you just have to say racist things. Well, I'm gonna
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: ask you this, earl. Wow did you did you hear? Sherls?
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Classy responds to sharing eyes. Oh my god, far too classic. Yeah,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: this my entire royal ass. You can take royal crown
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: and drink it from the crack of my tail. If
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: you're like you ring my crown and putting in your
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: habits will never be royal. I want to toll sharing
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: her cronk ass husband, You're not rick and Royalty. It's
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: racist here in the Palace, and I know because I'm
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: here representing the only black person. Now, well, Earl, thank
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: you for coming on and clearing a few things up
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: for us. We appreciate Carlin's Reality Update, Reality Update right
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show, all right, Temmy, come on,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: introduce our girl. She is here. She is here, Colin
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Farrell with Reality Update coming in coming in Hot Bay. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: all right, thank you, nephew. Let's talk about Married to
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Medicine doctor Jackie Walters. She was our special guest on Monday.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: She hung out with myself, yours truly, Shirley Strawberry, Sheryl Underwood,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: and doctor Jackie. So Married to Medicine is back, and um,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I don't know. We got to you know, doctor Jackie.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: She told us that this season was gonna be something,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: and I checked out the first episode and we got
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: to really see though, what's going on with the doctors
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: and their work with the pandemic, and really see them
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: as medical professionals and frontline heroes on you know, right
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: there on the ground getting involved. We got to see
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: all the doctors come home from work and how they
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: had to change clothes in the garage and go in
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: the house and shower and do all that before they
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: even get to see their kids and be with each other.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: So it's really serious. And how they care about saving
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: lives during the pandemic in Atlanta. So it was really
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: really good. The sad news was to see doctor Jackie
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: and doctor Simone. They used to be besties almost and
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: then they're just not together. They're just not together yet,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: so hopefully they can mend their relationship. Doctor Heavenly, you
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: know she's doing her thing. You know, she is off
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: the change. She gave a great birthday party, but it
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: was outdoors, social distances. She made everybody wear a mask
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: for her husbands what they wear the mask when they
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: come into the house. And then after about an hour
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: of being there, everybody got their mask. That's what I mean,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: masks all down. Well, because they wanted to eat. There
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: was food there, so they wanted to eat. That was
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: part of it. Yeah, but they still Tommy's right, they
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: still look inconsistent and maybe they're tested on the set
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: or whatever you know beforeforehand. So anyway, Man to Medicine
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: is back. Make sure where we watch it and support
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: doctor Jackie Walters and the doctors. We love it, all right,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Real Housewives of Atlanta Quickly, Cynthia and Mike's wedding. It's
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: still happening. There's a few little hiccups, you know. The
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: mother of the bride, Cynthia's mom, her dress is late
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: coming in after the wedding, so they got to deal
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: with that. Mike the groom his wedding vand she said,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: Cynthia said his ring doesn't fit. So they're just putting
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: out fires after fires, dealing with this wedding. And Kenya
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: and Drew. I don't know what's going on, but Kenya
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: just us, not like the new cast member Drew. They
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: tried to meet talk it out at dinner that didn't
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: go well. Marlowe hosted an event. The ladies went there.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Cynthia couldn't come, and Cynthia called and said she wasn't
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: going to be able to make it. And they asked
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: Cynthia she was going to get a pre nup with Mike,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: and she said no, she would do a post nup.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: And Candy advised her to do a pre nup, and
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: Kenya even advised her to do it, and Kenya didn't
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: even take her own advice. She admitted to that that
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: she didn't get a pre nup. And you know, Kenya
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: going through a separation. So when you guys think about
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: pre nups, that's what I want to ask you, what
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: do you think about it? See if here's what I
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: think about prenups. Everybody that I know who has a
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: pre nup has used it. I don't know anybody, not
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: me personally, that has a pre nup that has not
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: used it. Because all it is, Listen, this is what
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: I know from a male standpoint who is doing well off,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: and I know a lot of men who are doing
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: well off who have pre numbs. Okay, it's a buyout clause.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: It's I have a number that that I know that
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna pay if I'm tired of this and if
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: i don't feel like i want to do this no
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: more or it's getting to be a bit much. Here's
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: the buyout number that I have and when I'm ready
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: to pull the trigger and give up that amount. Here
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: it is right here. I'd have got cuss Scott if
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: I'd have brought up Yeah. I mean that's just from
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: my experience. But from a woman's perspective, if she's making
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: more than her manner, she has more to bring to
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: the table. You still think it's it's a buyout clause.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: It's still a buyout clause for everybody, man or woman,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: and everybody do something seriously. And everybody that I know
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: that has a pre number has had to use it.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Everybody I know is the marriage. Yeah, you just saying
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: we'll talk about Kanye ain't have one. I'm just but
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: I'll be back at twenty after. I you're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: before we left for the break, Carla's Reality Update, asked
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: a question. She posted a question about pre nups and
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: you wanted Yeah, I wanted to know Steve's opinion about
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: pre nups because they were talking about Cynthia and Mike
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: and you know, like I said, I said, and this
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: is just from my experience. I'm not saying that his
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: dad hasn't happen. Everybody that I know who has had
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: a pre nub has had to use it. M everybody
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: that I know that has one has used it, okay,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: And for me, this is just me. This is just
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: people that don't have them are still married. No, I'm
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: not saying that at all. A lot of people. I've
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: had two marriages, ain't hand no pre nubs, and I
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: ain't married to either one of them. But so that's
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: not the case. What I'm saying, though, is to me,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: it is it's preparation for failure, yeah, for the marriage
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: to end. It's saying that, look, there's a possibility that
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: this may not make it for whatever the reason, and
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: any event that we get there, here's the buyout number.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: But that's interesting because most rich people do have pren if.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Most rich people have a buyout number. Y'all can call
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: it a pre number. It's a buyout number. Well they
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: call it and it's a buyout number. It's the number
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: that I have to pay that buyse you out of
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: this relationship. And I know the number going in and
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: the moment a moment, I'm comfortable with that number and
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I'm sick of you. We're pressing the button and I
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: know exactly what it costs. We'll be back. Sorry, you're listening.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Time Upper as the CLO Chief Love Officer, the one
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: and only Steve Steve. This one is from john And, Mississippi.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: He says, my wife and I have been separated for
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: over a year, but she moved back in with me
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: after she got laid off. I got the house because
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: I caught her cheating on me. Um. I never got
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: upset with her. I just put her out, and me
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: and the kids have been better off since then. Now
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: that she's back in the home, she doesn't want my
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: girlfriend to come over. I told her that she has
