- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeo, man boy,
- 2:13Speaker 1: God has been good to me. Man, I can't really
- 2:17Speaker 1: count at all. You can't either, You know, it's all
- 2:20Speaker 1: in perspective. You really can't count all that God has
- 2:24Speaker 1: done for you if you look at every little thing.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's unbelievable the things He's done for us. How many
- 2:31Speaker 1: times you know, we got through something without even talking
- 2:34Speaker 1: to him about it. He just he just blessed us
- 2:36Speaker 1: with it. How many you know? It's just it's so
- 2:40Speaker 1: much that the fact that you wake up in the morning,
- 2:43Speaker 1: the fact that you still have a place to stay,
- 2:45Speaker 1: the fact that you know may be struggling out here,
- 2:47Speaker 1: but guess what, You're still going to work. You you know,
- 2:50Speaker 1: you live in check the check, but but you're making
- 2:52Speaker 1: it all. You got all the plates spinning. You know
- 2:55Speaker 1: it's hard. You got a lot of plate spinning, but
- 2:56Speaker 1: you keep him up there somewhere. Every now, I near
- 2:59Speaker 1: one break, but he put two mo back up there
- 3:01Speaker 1: to look a little bit better. And you got to
- 3:02Speaker 1: get to spending them so it all works. And then
- 3:05Speaker 1: you got a lot of people who just can't seem
- 3:09Speaker 1: to mentally put it together as to you know, why
- 3:14Speaker 1: their life isn't in a position that they wanted to be.
- 3:17Speaker 1: We talked about this oftentimes, but I want to try
- 3:20Speaker 1: another angle with you to day. You know, maybe it's you.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about that? Maybe it's you. Maybe
- 3:31Speaker 1: it's no external force that's at fault, like you keep
- 3:34Speaker 1: making the excuse to be. You know, so many people
- 3:38Speaker 1: I hear, well, if this hadn't have done this, if
- 3:40Speaker 1: he hadn't have done that, if she hadn't have done that,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I would have been further along. I wasted all my time,
- 3:47Speaker 1: my years with this man, and he did this, and
- 3:50Speaker 1: I could have been here, and I could have been there,
- 3:52Speaker 1: and this woman she did this to me, if she
- 3:55Speaker 1: hadn't have done that, I could have been here, and
- 3:57Speaker 1: I could have been there. Maybe it's you. Maybe it's
- 4:02Speaker 1: not really that external force that you keep making it
- 4:06Speaker 1: out to be. See, I've done this to myself before.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Once again, I'm talking to you about something I know about.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I've done this to myself before. I've had the reason
- 4:19Speaker 1: I wasn't where I wanted to be. I had it
- 4:22Speaker 1: figured out as some external force. I had worked it
- 4:27Speaker 1: out in my mind. Clearly it wasn't me. Because if
- 4:32Speaker 1: so and so, or if this hadn't happened, and if
- 4:35Speaker 1: they hadn't have done this, I would have been further
- 4:38Speaker 1: along up the road. That's what I was saying. But
- 4:41Speaker 1: WOLDO hold on that? But I learned a valuable lesson. Man. See,
- 4:46Speaker 1: if you don't ever let it go, it's gonna be
- 4:51Speaker 1: hard for you to go. If you don't ever let
- 4:57Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I was listening to Bishop td Jake's one day, and
- 5:04Speaker 1: I heard him say, you can't drive your car if
- 5:10Speaker 1: you're gonna keep looking in the rearview mirror. You go
- 5:14Speaker 1: outside and try that, try to drive your car, but
- 5:18Speaker 1: keep your eye in the rearview mirror. All you looking
- 5:21Speaker 1: at is where you're being. All you're looking at in
- 5:24Speaker 1: that rear view mirror is where you're passed, or should
- 5:27Speaker 1: have passed, something you should have moved on from. All
- 5:31Speaker 1: you're doing is looking in that rearview mirror at what
- 5:34Speaker 1: happened back there. If you don't stop looking in the
- 5:38Speaker 1: rearview mirror, you're gonna crash your car over and over
- 5:42Speaker 1: and over again. All you got to slow it down
- 5:47Speaker 1: so bad in order for you to keep looking in
- 5:51Speaker 1: that rearview mirror. If you don't learn to let it go,
- 5:57Speaker 1: it's gonna be hard for you to go forward because
- 6:02Speaker 1: you keep reviewing the past. The past is the past,
- 6:07Speaker 1: and I know it's hard. Man. I watched a show
- 6:09Speaker 1: and this lady said, well, I just can't ever forgive
- 6:12Speaker 1: them for that, or guess what. Guess what God may
- 6:18Speaker 1: have already forgiven that person. That person may be extremely remorseful,
- 6:23Speaker 1: could have gone to God and godd and forgiveness for
- 6:26Speaker 1: it years ago. But you you sit here and you
- 6:31Speaker 1: keep hanging on to the back. I can't ever forgive that, Mumm.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Then I heard Bishop Jakes come on the show one
- 6:38Speaker 1: time and say something that really really struck on you.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Keep drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die.
- 6:49Speaker 1: He said that. I just shook my head and went, Wow,
- 6:53Speaker 1: you drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Revenge is poison to you, You know, if hatred is
- 7:06Speaker 1: poison to you. Unforgivingness when you won't forgive a person,
- 7:11Speaker 1: that person could be going on with their life, made
- 7:14Speaker 1: the right with God. Don't know how you're feeling. They're
- 7:17Speaker 1: skipping through life now. You make adjustments every time you
- 7:20Speaker 1: see them. And it takes energy. Man, it takes so
- 7:23Speaker 1: much energy to hate. It takes so much energy not
- 7:27Speaker 1: to forgive too. That ain't come in the room. You
- 7:30Speaker 1: got to avoid them. Stay over here. Oh here they come. Now,
- 7:34Speaker 1: you got to make a situation over here. They come
- 7:37Speaker 1: into the house. It's family reunion. Oh here they come.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And where they're gonna be in the basement. I'm going
- 7:41Speaker 1: to be on the third floor. I want to go
- 7:43Speaker 1: ahead and get some barbecue. She out there at the barbecue, staying,
- 7:45Speaker 1: Oh lord, I don't want a barbecue. I just eat
- 7:47Speaker 1: to take the salary. People man take themselves all out
- 7:50Speaker 1: of position, trying to make adjustments when if you, it
- 7:54Speaker 1: would simplify your life, if you would let just let
- 7:59Speaker 1: it go. Maybe you ain't where you need to be
- 8:01Speaker 1: because of them external forces altogether. Maybe you're not where
- 8:06Speaker 1: you need to be cause of you. Because you won't
- 8:10Speaker 1: let it go, you won't move forward. Look at this, ladies,
- 8:14Speaker 1: Let's say you've been in a situation with him man
- 8:17Speaker 1: for years. It didn't work out. For whatever the reason,
- 8:20Speaker 1: it just didn't work out. I got, I got what
- 8:24Speaker 1: you say he did. I got what he did. I
- 8:26Speaker 1: got all of that. YadA YadA YadA. When you get through,
- 8:31Speaker 1: did not God get you through it? Did not he
- 8:35Speaker 1: allow you to survive it? I got you, got some
- 8:40Speaker 1: cuts on you, I got you been a little bit bruised.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But did he not get you through it? So, now
- 8:48Speaker 1: that he's freed you from it, now he didn't went on.
- 8:50Speaker 1: He got a whole other family over that somewhere. He not.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Now he trying to make it right because maybe he
- 8:55Speaker 1: learned the mistake he made and now he trying to
- 8:58Speaker 1: be a better man. He just trying to get it
- 8:59Speaker 1: right now. But you're sitting there holding onto it, You're
- 9:03Speaker 1: drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. So now,
- 9:07Speaker 1: instead of you enjoying the blessing of finally being free
- 9:10Speaker 1: from a situation that was not healthy for you, you
- 9:13Speaker 1: create an even more unhealthy situation in your mind by hating,
- 9:17Speaker 1: by having revengeful thoughts, by hoping he fall on his face.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Maybe you're even doing something to the other situation to
- 9:25Speaker 1: make sure they struggle. Oh man, you're drinking the poison,
- 9:29Speaker 1: waiting on your enemy to die. Maybe you ain't where
- 9:32Speaker 1: you ought to be in life, not because of your
- 9:35Speaker 1: external forces, but maybe it's you. If you don't let
- 9:40Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 9:43Speaker 1: You can't keep driving your car looking in the rear
- 9:47Speaker 1: view mirror. Come on, man, Forgiveness is not for the
- 9:52Speaker 1: other person. Forgiveness is for You're ladies and gentlemen. Man,
- 10:03Speaker 1: have your attention, please, let me have your attention. Please.

- 15:16Speaker 1: good morning, good morning, morning, morning mornings to everyone. So
- 15:24Speaker 1: what can I do for y'all to day? What did
- 15:26Speaker 1: you want any special requests? I mean giving holiday spirit
- 15:29Speaker 1: to move well, since you'll deal. First of all, I
- 15:32Speaker 1: know you have some holiday traditions, like you know, when
- 15:35Speaker 1: you open your gifts on Christmas or what do you
- 15:38Speaker 1: do Christmas Eve? Putting up your tree? Things like that,
- 15:41Speaker 1: you know, what what do you yeah, what's your Christmas like?
- 15:44Speaker 1: And then you know, if we have time, and I
- 15:46Speaker 1: hope we did, you know most well, you know, sweetie,
- 15:52Speaker 1: most of my family separated, you know, going there on
- 15:55Speaker 1: waves in the head, chewers and everything. So if I
- 15:58Speaker 1: try to see all on my I'll just be on
- 16:00Speaker 1: the plane all day. So some of them come over
- 16:03Speaker 1: and you know, spend some time with me. I push
- 16:06Speaker 1: my tree up right after Thanksgiving, though oh yes, yes, ma'am, yes, ma'am.
- 16:12Speaker 1: So I don't actually put it up myself. I ask
- 16:15Speaker 1: people's oh okay, really wow, I didn't know that. Well,
- 16:21Speaker 1: when you get people, when I can see that, I
- 16:26Speaker 1: ask people that helps me. Yeah, she might need a
- 16:28Speaker 1: little help. I ask people that helps me, you know,
- 16:32Speaker 1: like you and you the last person need to ask
- 16:35Speaker 1: about who got people? West Santa Claus gets you from elf,
- 16:47Speaker 1: he from Well, do you cook anything special, sister Odell,
- 16:52Speaker 1: like a favorite restip? You know I cooks. You know,
- 16:56Speaker 1: I'm really good at dressing in yams. I love dress
- 17:00Speaker 1: in yams. And I buys my turkey now already cooked
- 17:04Speaker 1: from honey bait. That way, I ain't got to be
- 17:06Speaker 1: in there watching it, you know, honey bake do it?
- 17:08Speaker 1: Rich Man? Uh huh huh okay, okay, all right, well, um,
- 17:16Speaker 1: you wanna bless us with the song since you're here?
- 17:19Speaker 1: I mean, I know you love Christmas songs. You could finish. Oh,
- 17:39Speaker 1: I see it all Oh jees, did you like jingle bells?
- 17:53Speaker 1: That's your dell? Well, you know the original version. They
- 17:57Speaker 1: change it when white people started singing it. What what
- 18:00Speaker 1: do you mean? What you mean like jingle bells? Jingle bells?
- 18:04Speaker 1: That's not when used to just used to be jingle bears.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Used to go like this, jangle or jangle or jangle, Oh,
- 18:16Speaker 1: jangle jangle lord, jangle bell jangle bells, jangle bells, jangle
- 18:28Speaker 1: all away. That the said jangle bears, jangle bells, jangle
- 18:34Speaker 1: all the way. Then you know, white folks couldn't do it,
- 18:38Speaker 1: so they had to simplify it, you know to what Yeah, yeah,
- 18:45Speaker 1: what's your version of Yeah? Okay, just white? Yeah they
- 18:54Speaker 1: killed kill the sound you know there was off the
- 18:59Speaker 1: red nose. Yeah yeah, that's a good. Well, you know
- 19:06Speaker 1: that's really not a Christmas song because you know everyone
- 19:11Speaker 1: knows raindeers really can't fly. You know, don't tell me
- 19:17Speaker 1: can't fly no rain Well, y'all are are lying to
- 19:21Speaker 1: the kids. What do you want me to do? Sister?
- 19:24Speaker 1: Oh damn, we have children learning you kids? Yeah, well
- 19:31Speaker 1: you know what where where they seen him fly? Have
- 19:40Speaker 1: a heart, sister Odell. Now come on, this is for
- 19:43Speaker 1: the kids. What about like fust I have a ok
- 19:48Speaker 1: for the kids. Okay, so didn't listen to me. For
- 19:51Speaker 1: the kids that's listening. This is what's happening. There as
- 19:56Speaker 1: a white man that puts on a suit and gets
- 19:58Speaker 1: in a sled with twigs el Rainy did. And they
- 20:00Speaker 1: put him all across the hood and he slays on
- 20:03Speaker 1: people's roof and they'll being shot and comes down the
- 20:07Speaker 1: chimney and it fitch down everybody. Chimney. Now you ain't
- 20:11Speaker 1: got the chimney. He comes through the windows or under
- 20:14Speaker 1: the door and then he leaves all the presents and
- 20:18Speaker 1: stuff you don't want, and that's what he is. He's
- 20:21Speaker 1: just saying a cross and if you ain't ever got
- 20:24Speaker 1: what you wanted, that pretty much explains it's fat stuff.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Oh well, all I can say to that is thank you,
- 20:35Speaker 1: Sister Odell Ship and the clue the snow one open.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Can you tell him what's coming up next? Laughing? I
- 20:51Speaker 1: guess not way. The nephew would run that prank back
- 20:54Speaker 1: coming up right after this take us out. Since you're
- 20:58Speaker 1: listening Dave Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top
- 21:03Speaker 1: of the hour and trending news. We'll talk about what
- 21:06Speaker 1: is going on in the world, the impeachment, all of that.
- 21:09Speaker 1: But right now the nephew in the building with run
- 21:11Speaker 1: that prank back? What's you guy for his nap? Gospel
- 21:15Speaker 1: Quis Show, I said, one more time, Gospel Queers show. Amen,
- 21:24Speaker 1: heym alright, cat dog, if you would, would you please
- 21:28Speaker 1: run Gospel Quis Show? It is? This is Grant all right,
- 21:34Speaker 1: Grant h Grant Stevens right, Yes, hey, hey, Grant, this
- 21:38Speaker 1: is Brolla Lewis Finley. I'm calling from Mile Side and
- 21:42Speaker 1: I Missionaire Baptist Church. You you and your wife just
- 21:45Speaker 1: joined a couple of weeks ago, Am I right? Absolutely? Yes? Okay,
- 21:50Speaker 1: So now listen, um, I wanted to reach out to you.
- 21:54Speaker 1: I know you guys have started the uh the orientation,
- 21:58Speaker 1: and from my understanding, you do you finish one one
- 22:01Speaker 1: class at orientation? You got three more to go with that,
- 22:04Speaker 1: right yeah? Alright, alright, alright. So first of all, I
- 22:08Speaker 1: want to say welcome to north Side Night, and I
- 22:11Speaker 1: hope you are enjoying yourself. I know that you and
- 22:14Speaker 1: your wife are a mixed couple. You your Caucasian and
- 22:18Speaker 1: she's she's black. Are you Are you liking the church
- 22:22Speaker 1: so far? Are grant? Absolutely, we really are enjoying it.
- 22:27Speaker 1: We completed our first orientation and uh yeah, so far
- 22:30Speaker 1: we're really enjoying it. Okay, Okay, did I catch you
- 22:33Speaker 1: the bad time? I am at work right now, but
- 22:36Speaker 1: it's okay. I've got a couple of I've got a
- 22:37Speaker 1: couple of minutes, okay, Okay. I just wanted to call you. Man.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I was worried I know you because I don't think
- 22:43Speaker 1: you noticed, but you are the first Caucasian to join
- 22:47Speaker 1: our church, and I just want to make sure you
- 22:50Speaker 1: kind of knew the language and just just kind of
- 22:55Speaker 1: knowing what the Black church is all about. And there's
- 22:57Speaker 1: certain sands and different things I think you should know,
- 23:01Speaker 1: so that uh, you know, I just don't want you
- 23:03Speaker 1: to say the wrong thing while you at the church.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Does that makes sense? Uh? Okay, okay, So so what
- 23:10Speaker 1: I wanted to do, like I wanted to give you
- 23:12Speaker 1: a little Black Church quiz so you can kind of
- 23:16Speaker 1: maybe if you could let me know where you are,
- 23:19Speaker 1: you know, if you want a lower level or a

- 25:11Speaker 1: I really don't have time for this right now. I
- 25:13Speaker 1: can't believe it's actually happening. Like did you did your
- 25:15Speaker 1: pastor even know that you're calling you right now? Well? No,
- 25:18Speaker 1: I took the livery of myself when I realized you
- 25:21Speaker 1: was Caucasian, that I would call and try to help
- 25:24Speaker 1: you so you would know what to do when you're
- 25:26Speaker 1: in the Black Church when people are saying certain things
- 25:28Speaker 1: you okay, okay, grant if you don't man, just do
- 25:32Speaker 1: this fun the grant, like do you know what hooping is? Hooping? Like?

- 26:32Speaker 1: You have caught me at a really bad time, and
- 26:33Speaker 1: I'm quite honestly just so frustrated. Like I've never heard

- 27:12Speaker 1: I want to talk to your pastor. I am going
- 27:14Speaker 1: to talk to him next Sunday. No joke, Why didn't
- 27:17Speaker 1: mean did you put you to get a hostile like that?
- 27:19Speaker 1: I didn't mean that you. I didn't mean to upset

- 29:30Speaker 1: which included get This, President Donald Trump, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Now,
- 29:36Speaker 1: wasn't he the one that says he didn't even believe
- 29:39Speaker 1: in it? There was no such thing? Yeah right, yeah, right,
- 29:47Speaker 1: the anonymous CIA whistleblower, and the Hong Kong protesters. That
- 29:52Speaker 1: was a short list. The magazine also named the US
- 29:55Speaker 1: women's soccer team It's Athlete of the Year, and Lizzo
- 30:00Speaker 1: Lizzo It's Entertainer of the Year. Wow. We talked about

- 30:10Speaker 1: she's hot, Yeah she is. She's photo to see a
- 30:18Speaker 1: whole lot more of it. Yeah, why change now? Yeah, yeah,
- 30:32Speaker 1: let's do this. Let's entertain then, right, all right, all right.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Also in uh, in other entertainment news, well, Bill Cosby
- 30:42Speaker 1: lost his appeal in the sexual assault case that landed
- 30:46Speaker 1: him in jail. His legal team has asked the court
- 30:49Speaker 1: to overturn his conviction on three counts of aggravated indecent
- 30:54Speaker 1: assault for drugging and molesting Andrea Constant. Uh the way
- 31:00Speaker 1: Cosby's team saw it, mount Comery County Court of Common Please,
- 31:04Speaker 1: Judge Stephen O'Neill was wrong to let five accusers testify
- 31:09Speaker 1: at his retrial, but the Pennsylvania Supreme Superior Court ruled
- 31:14Speaker 1: unanimously that the additional accusers established Cosby's a signature pattern
- 31:20Speaker 1: of drugging and sexually assaulting his victims. That means that Cosby,
- 31:25Speaker 1: who is eighty one years old, will have to serve
- 31:28Speaker 1: out the three to ten year sentence that he received. Wow,
- 31:33Speaker 1: So let me ask you a question. Does anybody know
- 31:36Speaker 1: if his three to ten? Does he can't? Does he
- 31:39Speaker 1: qualify parole? Attend he get out for good behavior? I
- 31:42Speaker 1: mean at three because you go three to ten. I
- 31:46Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know if he gets out. Talked
- 31:49Speaker 1: about the appeal being denied yesterday, So I don't know
- 31:53Speaker 1: about the length of time. Ain't none of us? Yeah,
- 31:57Speaker 1: we did no time. We really don't have no, we
- 32:01Speaker 1: don't have no idea. I'm asking my cousins long he's
- 32:06Speaker 1: been in It hasn't been a year. I'm gonna go
- 32:09Speaker 1: with a whire. I think, yeah, this past September. I
- 32:14Speaker 1: think it was a year. I think. Okay, so I'm
- 32:19Speaker 1: not sure. Hmm, all right, what you want us to
- 32:25Speaker 1: call him? What time are we're gonna be in Philadelphia?
- 32:31Speaker 1: We might will stop back. I'm not I'm not going.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I'm not going down down there, down all right, all right, Steve.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Time now for the latest the news headlines. Please introduce
- 32:47Speaker 1: miss Anne, ladies and gentlemen, miss and Tripp. Thank you
- 32:52Speaker 1: very much, everybody. This is a trip with the news.
- 32:55Speaker 1: The Republican led Senate Judiciary Committee focused his attention yesterday
- 32:58Speaker 1: on the report but the Justice Departments in partial inspected
- 33:02Speaker 1: general on why the FBI investigated Russia's possible meddling in
- 33:05Speaker 1: our last presidential election in the first place. Michael Harwitz's
- 33:09Speaker 1: report concludes that while federal ages made some fundamental and
- 33:12Speaker 1: some serious errors in their applications to place the former
- 33:15Speaker 1: Trump campaign the AID under surveillance, he said he found
- 33:19Speaker 1: no bias against the president. We did not find the
- 33:21Speaker 1: documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper maid
- 33:26Speaker 1: motivation influenced the FBI's decision to conduct those CS operations.
- 33:32Speaker 1: Trump As supporters have claimed that emails between two agents
- 33:35Speaker 1: show that the FEDS were against him. However, Harwood says
- 33:38Speaker 1: he found evidence of other FBI agents who are very
- 33:40Speaker 1: supportive of his White House bid. On another matter, yesterday,
- 33:43Speaker 1: President Trump signed an executive order that the President says
- 33:46Speaker 1: will target anti Semitism on college campuses. However, that er
- 33:50Speaker 1: portly aimed at the boycott, divestment, and sanctions movement over
- 33:53Speaker 1: the treatment of the Palestinians. That's a movement that has
- 33:56Speaker 1: generated intense controversy on a lot of college campuses, the
- 33:59Speaker 1: White House says. The order clarifies that the nineteen sixty
- 34:03Speaker 1: four Civil Rights Act applies to acts against Jews, and
- 34:06Speaker 1: the order officially classifies Jews as a race or nationality
- 34:09Speaker 1: rather than just a religion. Jury selection begins and has
- 34:14Speaker 1: begun this week in Maryland and the trial of a
- 34:16Speaker 1: white man who, prosecutors say, walk up to a young
- 34:19Speaker 1: black man who was a second lieutenant in the army
- 34:21Speaker 1: and fatally stabbed him in the chest on the University
- 34:24Speaker 1: of Maryland's campus. The victim was Richard Collins the thirty
- 34:27Speaker 1: He was a student at Bowie State University. He was
- 34:29Speaker 1: visiting a couple of friends at the nearby University of Maryland,
- 34:32Speaker 1: when standing at a bus stop, a white man named
- 34:35Speaker 1: Sean Urbanski approached him and his friends and reportedly said, quote,
- 34:38Speaker 1: step left, if you know what's best for you. Well
- 34:41Speaker 1: witnessed to say Collins refused to move, and that Urbanski
- 34:45Speaker 1: plunged a knife into his chest and then sat on
- 34:47Speaker 1: a nearby bench and waited for the police to show up.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Collins died three days after. He died shortly after that,
- 34:54Speaker 1: and the action. When he died, it was three days
- 34:56Speaker 1: before he was to graduate with his bachelor's science degree,
- 34:58Speaker 1: and again he was already a second lieutenant in the
- 35:01Speaker 1: US Army. Ubanski's charged with first degree murder and a
- 35:05Speaker 1: hate crime. Some upsetting news to report. According to TMZ,
- 35:09Speaker 1: Olympic gold medalist and boxing legend Leon Spinks is fighting
- 35:12Speaker 1: for his life in a Las Vegas hospital. Now just
- 35:15Speaker 1: what's wrong has not been mentioned, but his wife is
- 35:17Speaker 1: asking for prayers on social media. Leon Spinks has reportedly
- 35:21Speaker 1: suffered from poor health in recent years. He was hospitalized
- 35:25Speaker 1: in twenty fourteen with significant intestinal damage after some chicken
- 35:28Speaker 1: bones got lodged in him. Somehow he swallowed them. Leon
- 35:32Speaker 1: Spinks is in the Nevada Boxing Hall of fame. He's
- 35:34Speaker 1: best remembered for upsetting Muhammad Ali in nineteen seventy eight
- 35:38Speaker 1: to win the heavyweight title. For a while before becoming
- 35:40Speaker 1: heavyweight champ, he was in the Marines and he won
- 35:43Speaker 1: a gold in the nineteen seventy six Summer Olympics. And finally,
- 35:47Speaker 1: with the addition of the lovely Miss South Africa for
- 35:49Speaker 1: the first time in history, Miss Americo, Miss f Usa,
- 35:52Speaker 1: Miss Tina Universe, all Black women a lot of respect.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 35:58Speaker 1: to Morning Show. All right, So guys, here's a question
- 36:03Speaker 1: for you. Which would you rather live in? Would you
- 36:06Speaker 1: rather live in? Which store? I should say, Bed Bathroom
- 36:09Speaker 1: Beyond or Home Goods or Ikea? Which one? Oh, so
- 36:15Speaker 1: that's a question. Think about that. Here's just a crazy
- 36:19Speaker 1: news story. Uh, it's about a runaway kid who was
- 36:22Speaker 1: found living in bed Bathroom Beyond, which we think is
- 36:26Speaker 1: genius in a bed Bathroom Beyond store. Employees at a Raleigh,
- 36:32Speaker 1: North Carolina, Bed bath and Beyond store arrived at eight
- 36:35Speaker 1: thirty am and found someone hiding inside the store. The
- 36:39Speaker 1: employees called the police to the store. A spokesperson for
- 36:42Speaker 1: the Greenville Police department said the boy ran away from
- 36:45Speaker 1: home and snuck into the store to camp out. So
- 36:48Speaker 1: if you could live in any one of those stores,
- 36:50Speaker 1: which one would it be Bead, Bath and Beyond Home
- 36:53Speaker 1: Goods or Ikea or any stand? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, I
- 36:59Speaker 1: hate Bathroom Beyond, you know, I mean, I ain't really
- 37:02Speaker 1: worried about that. But you can get confidence pillows. You
- 37:05Speaker 1: can wake up making hall fee chairs in now, you know,
- 37:12Speaker 1: I kill. We got to put all that together before
- 37:14Speaker 1: we later we get this bed and you on the float, Tommy,
- 37:24Speaker 1: that ain't no lot, you know, wore your ass out
- 37:27Speaker 1: worse similar instructions that I killed. But they do have
- 37:30Speaker 1: a restaurant. You got bath towels in there, and they
- 37:34Speaker 1: have a restaurant where you can get some meat balls
- 37:37Speaker 1: and ice cream. And you got a restaurant, Shirley, I can't,
- 37:41Speaker 1: I can't in the store, but you got Yeah, you
- 37:45Speaker 1: need a restaurant because you're hungry. You've been in there
- 37:49Speaker 1: putting all that mess together, running there hell looking reading instructions.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, and then they got that stuff but didn't
- 38:05Speaker 1: check yourself. But then I kia got the nerd ahead
- 38:08Speaker 1: that stuff where you need that little star Alan Rich
- 38:12Speaker 1: oh that the word. Hell is this you've been not
- 38:20Speaker 1: lose one? Screw you can't. You better not lose one.
- 38:24Speaker 1: It's not gonna snap right up, telling you got bad
- 38:27Speaker 1: bathroom beyond store. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the stick. That
- 38:31Speaker 1: was smart. I think that was just yeah, it was
- 38:33Speaker 1: it was smart of this kid. You know, but I
- 38:39Speaker 1: never heard of this. It's the Core store kind of
- 38:44Speaker 1: you don't know how success. Yeah. They have high hot
- 38:47Speaker 1: from high to low end furniture, everything for your home,
- 38:52Speaker 1: everything for your home. Yeah, and they have snacks and
- 38:55Speaker 1: water at the register. Yeah. Up, Legs coming up at
- 39:05Speaker 1: thirty four after the hour. Thirteen days till Christmas? Right, well,
- 39:09Speaker 1: are you ready? We'll talk about it right after this.
- 39:13Speaker 1: You're listening to Okay, guys, it's December twelfth, already we
- 39:20Speaker 1: have thirteen I said, thirteen days until Christmas. Here's a question. Yeah,
- 39:28Speaker 1: are you ready? It ain't if we ready. Nephew Tommy ready?
- 39:33Speaker 1: Is nephew Tommy ready because he's only got one arm? No,
- 39:38Speaker 1: because he's sniff and he got to get work. Oh
- 39:48Speaker 1: don't see this coming. I really did. I thought it
- 39:52Speaker 1: was because of his arm. That's that's the good part disability.
- 39:59Speaker 1: I think he the disability to health. You know, some
- 40:03Speaker 1: people say Christmas is for kids. You know you shouldn't
- 40:06Speaker 1: by adults. I disagree with. No, Christmas is for everyone.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Not disagree to Christmas is for me. Yeah, Jesus is
- 40:17Speaker 1: for everybody. Is Jesus to this? Thank you? You know?
- 40:23Speaker 1: Well you know it's not a commercialize you know, yes, yeah,
- 40:29Speaker 1: I agree with that. I agree with that commercial Let's say,
- 40:32Speaker 1: can we do without all the gifts? Yes? Can we
- 40:36Speaker 1: just enjoy family? Just do it out as Thanksgiving? That's
- 40:41Speaker 1: what thanks Giving? Good time. They may be good time
- 40:47Speaker 1: going in there and tell that to Jordan this year. Yeah,
- 40:50Speaker 1: but enjoy family, Jordan. You're asked and decided. We ain't
- 40:54Speaker 1: doing all that this year. We're gonna enjoy family, Jordan,
- 40:57Speaker 1: gonna look outside your head? What I mean. I don't
- 41:02Speaker 1: think you should, you know, yeah, and get what you
- 41:09Speaker 1: can afford and all of that. I don't think because
- 41:11Speaker 1: that's what makes the stress and all of that. You know,
- 41:14Speaker 1: do what you can do for Christmas? Yeah, I don't
- 41:16Speaker 1: think you should do that. That's that's not what the
- 41:19Speaker 1: meaning of Christmas is now, all right, But my family
- 41:23Speaker 1: told you what the meaning christ was at ten you
- 41:26Speaker 1: hate a choice. We had the money for no gifts,
- 41:29Speaker 1: so at ten, at ten years old, you had to
- 41:32Speaker 1: be about Christmas, just the story of truth, love and Jesus. Yeah. Yeah,
- 41:37Speaker 1: you're right. They have commercialized that. People feel pressured to
- 41:41Speaker 1: buy people gifts and expensive gifts and all that. I
- 41:45Speaker 1: definitely don't believe in that that you should do that.
- 41:49Speaker 1: That just creates more stress, anxiety and unhappiness. You know,
- 41:55Speaker 1: did you get a Christmas list from your market? Mark is?
- 42:00Speaker 1: Let to tell you something. Jordan and Sydney printed their
- 42:04Speaker 1: list out and put it on my mirror in my bathroom,
- 42:09Speaker 1: and Nick and then asked me, did you see the list?
- 42:13Speaker 1: I said, I don't use that bathroom. Nomba, Nah, I
- 42:16Speaker 1: don't use that bad room. It was the hall bathroom.
- 42:22Speaker 1: I thought they might have taped it up too high.
- 42:32Speaker 1: I'm not listening to these two at all. Yeah. I
- 42:35Speaker 1: got my list on the tax so I'm like, okay,
- 42:38Speaker 1: tax stuck Christmas slip. My nephew asked me for some
- 42:42Speaker 1: football clease it's a good years good Yeah. Yeah, he
- 42:48Speaker 1: gonna get them because he liked football. He just it's
- 42:51Speaker 1: his first year playing football and he loved football. He said,
- 42:55Speaker 1: I just want some football clease. Oh when you don't
- 42:57Speaker 1: get that last year was it was crazy? What do
- 43:00Speaker 1: you mean all the stuff he wanted to last year?
- 43:03Speaker 1: Did you be down to football cleats? Yeah, he's maturing. Yeah.
- 43:11Speaker 1: It's a good feeling to both on both sides to
- 43:15Speaker 1: be able to get someone what they want, get them
- 43:18Speaker 1: a nice yeah, and to receive a nice gift. It
- 43:23Speaker 1: really is nice. Yeah, you know. Or give back and
- 43:30Speaker 1: help those that are less. Yeah, participate in toy drives, uh,
- 43:37Speaker 1: coach drives, all of that stuff. Whatever you can do
- 43:40Speaker 1: to give back and to give. It's a season of giving.
- 43:43Speaker 1: That's what it's supposed to be about. It is. And
- 43:46Speaker 1: fellows side pieces need love. To make sure y'all get
- 43:50Speaker 1: them something. They got to have something. Man, don't just
- 43:53Speaker 1: leave him like that. Well he's he's talking. The guy
- 43:57Speaker 1: who's talking right now, he's coming up with a prank
- 43:59Speaker 1: phone call right after this. Okay, nephew, Tony on the
- 44:03Speaker 1: way in my face, look at my No, she's so
- 44:07Speaker 1: done with you. You're listening to coming up at the

- 50:47Speaker 1: the husband can give you something, telling him when my birthday,
- 50:53Speaker 1: Junior gave me something. If you want to give me
- 50:55Speaker 1: something like your birthdate, death date, same thing. Yes, ass,

- 51:47Speaker 1: jesture for somebody to see what happens? What it's right here,
- 51:51Speaker 1: y'all rolling back up at me? It's wrong with me
- 51:54Speaker 1: to get us man's worst day. Yes, junior, it's his
- 52:02Speaker 1: wife's birthday and I'm trying to get her something for it. Law,

- 53:53Speaker 1: all right, buckle up, hold on tight. We got it
- 53:55Speaker 1: for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter subject my
- 53:59Speaker 1: old old uncle is still a player. Dear Auntie Shirley
- 54:03Speaker 1: and Uncle Steve. I have a problem with my real
- 54:06Speaker 1: family members, so I want to be your niece instead.
- 54:10Speaker 1: Here's my problem. I am a twenty eight year old
- 54:13Speaker 1: woman that was raised by three uncles that were like
- 54:16Speaker 1: father figures to me, and I'm very close to all
- 54:18Speaker 1: of them. One of my uncles is getting on my
- 54:21Speaker 1: last nerve though. I'm really close with his daughter, my cousin,
- 54:25Speaker 1: and she's sick of him too. We grew up staying
- 54:28Speaker 1: at Grandma's house and we watched my uncles have lots
- 54:32Speaker 1: of different women around the house. My cousin eventually moved
- 54:35Speaker 1: out of state, and that's when the problem began. My
- 54:39Speaker 1: married uncle would spend weekends away away from his wife
- 54:44Speaker 1: with his girlfriend, and he would tell his wife that
- 54:47Speaker 1: he and I were going to visit my cousin out
- 54:49Speaker 1: of town for the weekend. I'm very close to my
- 54:53Speaker 1: grandmother and I love spending time with her. But whenever
- 54:56Speaker 1: I'm supposed to be out of town with my uncle,
- 54:58Speaker 1: I basically have to go into hiding. When his wife
- 55:01Speaker 1: calls him to check in, he calls me from another
- 55:05Speaker 1: phone and puts me on speaker, and I have to
- 55:08Speaker 1: laugh fake laugh, or talk like I'm in the background.
- 55:12Speaker 1: His own daughter has to be in on the lie too.
- 55:15Speaker 1: His wife is her stepmother, so she doesn't care that
- 55:18Speaker 1: he's cheating. She just doesn't want to be involved in
- 55:23Speaker 1: his lives. He even has taken women out of town
- 55:28Speaker 1: with him to visit his daughter, and we'll have these
- 55:31Speaker 1: women staying in his daughter's house. He is too old
- 55:34Speaker 1: for these shenanigans. He tried to involve my husband in
- 55:38Speaker 1: the mess, but my husband told him he's not lying
- 55:40Speaker 1: for him. I'm tired of this mess too, but I
- 55:43Speaker 1: would never snitch any suggestions on how to get him
- 55:46Speaker 1: to stop lying. Can an old player change? Please advise? Okay? Nice, Okay,
- 55:52Speaker 1: since you want to be our niece, here goes. You're
- 55:55Speaker 1: going about this the wrong way. First of all, you
- 55:58Speaker 1: should know you gotta know that you can't change anyone,
- 56:01Speaker 1: especially a good and grown, fully grown man like your uncle.
- 56:06Speaker 1: What's his incentive to change anyway? I mean, he's got you,
- 56:09Speaker 1: he's got his daughter, and whoever else is on his
- 56:12Speaker 1: team to lie for him, to cover up for him.
- 56:15Speaker 1: Life is beautiful for your uncle. Why would he stop this? Why? Now?
- 56:19Speaker 1: For what? So my advice to you is to take
- 56:23Speaker 1: yourself all the way out of the mix when it
- 56:26Speaker 1: comes to this. Okay, like your husband, who's not involved.
- 56:30Speaker 1: No one's saying you should snitch on your uncle or
- 56:32Speaker 1: anything like that. But you know, can't you just like
- 56:35Speaker 1: get ghosts disappear When your uncle is calling you to
- 56:39Speaker 1: lie for him and stuff, can't you just straight up
- 56:41Speaker 1: tell him no? You said in the letter, you're a
- 56:43Speaker 1: twenty eight year old grown woman. If you're a woman,
- 56:46Speaker 1: be a woman and tell him the truth. Tell him
- 56:49Speaker 1: you don't want to be involved in this anymore. You're
- 56:51Speaker 1: tired of lying for him. You love him, but you
- 56:54Speaker 1: don't approve of what he's doing, and you don't want
- 56:57Speaker 1: to be involved. All right, That's all you have to do,
- 56:59Speaker 1: That's what a own woman would do. He's not going out.
- 57:03Speaker 1: You're still gonna be family. You're still gonna be family
- 57:06Speaker 1: and all of that. He's still your uncle, all of that,
- 57:09Speaker 1: But you gotta put an end to this for your
- 57:11Speaker 1: You gotta change your behavior and tell him, no uncle,
- 57:15Speaker 1: I'm not doing this anymore. You're on your own, all right,
- 57:19Speaker 1: That's all you gotta do. Steve Well, First of all, Shirley,
- 57:25Speaker 1: I agree with every single thing you've said. Here is
- 57:29Speaker 1: the real problem with this. This guy wants to do dirt,
- 57:34Speaker 1: but he needs help pulling the dirt off. Now, like
- 57:38Speaker 1: you told the young lady, she's twenty eight, she's good
- 57:42Speaker 1: and grown. Remove yourself from this, just like your cousin's
- 57:48Speaker 1: wife did, I mean husband did. He's a man. I
- 57:50Speaker 1: ain't lying for you. Stay out of it. Stop answering
- 57:54Speaker 1: the phone when he calls to put you on speaker
- 57:58Speaker 1: like you in the background. Stop all that. Don't answer
- 58:02Speaker 1: his calls no more. Tell him listen to me. I'm
- 58:07Speaker 1: done with this. I'm not going to be a participant
- 58:11Speaker 1: in this any more. Enough is enough. If you want
- 58:16Speaker 1: to do some mess, do it. I'm not gonna tell
- 58:19Speaker 1: on you or bust you, but I'm not going to
- 58:21Speaker 1: aid in a bed. I'm not doing that. I ain't snitching,
- 58:26Speaker 1: but I ain't helping your ass. Either you're too damn
- 58:29Speaker 1: old for this to take your old ass home, not
- 58:36Speaker 1: stupid old ass out here though, the damn cereal is
- 58:42Speaker 1: tricks is for kids, silly rabbit. That's what it's fault,
- 58:48Speaker 1: not for your old ass. Listen to this. Here's a deal.
- 58:53Speaker 1: This is what you really really need to do. You
- 59:00Speaker 1: need to inform your uncle of this fact right here.
- 59:05Speaker 1: I don't think you're gonna be able to tell him this,
- 59:07Speaker 1: so just let me record this part portion of the
- 59:09Speaker 1: show and play it back for him. Certain if you
- 59:13Speaker 1: were a real man, any real man would not subject
- 59:19Speaker 1: the women in his family to this type of foolishness.
- 59:24Speaker 1: What what kind of message do you send to the
- 59:28Speaker 1: women in the family? Are you kidding me? Man? Your cousin,
- 59:32Speaker 1: your daughter, you're cheating on you on your new wife.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Your daughter don't care because it's his step mom, but
- 59:40Speaker 1: that's probably what got you divorced from the mother in
- 59:43Speaker 1: the first place. You're just old and trifling, man. Real
- 59:47Speaker 1: men don't do this, Pardner. Do what you're gonna do
- 59:50Speaker 1: and stop dragging these kids into it. What is wrong
- 59:54Speaker 1: with your nutty ass sitting up in here. You need
- 59:58Speaker 1: people to pull your troops, even a good player. You
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: don't even know how to play by yourself. All right,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: steveng to bust you up. All right, we'll have part
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: two if Steve's responds, coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: after the hour. Subject my old uncle is still a player.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: We'll be back with part two coming up right after this.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve, Here we go. Let's recap
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: today Strawberry letters. Subject my old uncle is still a player.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Here's what I think she should do. She's got this
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: old uncle, she got three uncles that's been like father
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: figures to him. She's got this one uncle that's real
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: old and keeps cheating on the women in his life
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: and uses her, his daughter and other women to help
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: the lie. Here's what I think you should do. I
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: think you should go. You say you got three uncles
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: that's like a father figured to you. I think you
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: should go to the other two uncles, explain to them
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: what he's doing and say you no longer want to
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: be a part of this. Could they talk to him
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: and then let them as men go over there and
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: handle it with him. That's all it is to it,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: because this don't make no damn sense at all to day,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: the old all over your grandmama house with this mess.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: That's wrong with you? Man? How And I wish I
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: knew how old he was. But that's enough. That's all
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: I got to say. It ain't nothing else say. Everything
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Shirley said made perfect sense to me. You are too
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: old for this mess, right, Hill, Go sit your old
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: tail down somewhere. Stop dragging these young girls into your mess.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: You don't even know how to play anytime. You got
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: to include young women. And when you're sending the wrong
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: message to these girls about how men are their their
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: heads are messed up forever watching how men function and do.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Where are we gonna get a grip on that? Are
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: you dragging these girls into this thing? You should go
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: over there, simple tell your other two uncles what he's
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: doing and tell them you don't want to be a
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: part of it. Tommy, time to step in, Hillamy, Tommy
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: step hill Oh my god, Steve, what why want to here? Yeah?
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: You need an old fool to discuss what another old
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: fool is doing. OK. And that's that's that's the perspective. See,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I'm talking with too much damn. Since here I'm thinking
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: it all to go this way is real sim it's
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: cutn't dry to me. Let's go to Tommy, get involved here.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: How do you feel about this? Lord? Well, let me
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: let me first say this to this young lady. All this,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: you want my uncle to be your uncle. That's out.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: You ain't been you. This is about don't first saying
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: that woman saying I want to be your niece. You're
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: not fits to be his niece. I'm tired of everybody
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: in this whole dog gonna country. Want my own home,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: you tell me every day, So this makes sense. Okay,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you're dog gonna right. I'm telling everybody that's righting him.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I want you to be my new uncle. Skeep, but

- 1:08:22Speaker 1: But no knack mcconnells is gonna let him go. You
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, but you know what we need
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: to do, Junior. You know we need to do in
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: the country. What we need to do is make sure
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: the House stay in control of the Democrats. Then we
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: need to have an election to make sure the Senate
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: get controlled by the Democrats. They need to hold them
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: impeachment articles that they got right now, wait until we
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: flip everything in the hands of the Democrats, and then
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: if he do get elected, then we put him out
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: of office. But if we vote and vote the way
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: we want to and vote early and often, then it
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: may go a different way. Shout out to Joe Biden
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: on top of the Paul's son, I get too excited.

- 1:09:39Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Come on, Tommy, let's go, Let's get it.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: It's that time. She is here. Buckle up, everybody, It's
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: that time. It's reality update with who Carla Ferrell? Thank you, nephew. Alright, good,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: yeah you were That was a great introduction. All right,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: then let's go real Housewives of the Eighth t l Jujia.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: All right, Marlow she invited the ladies to her wig
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: launch party. So marlow was having a line of wigs
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: launch party. Just wig, not w just a hair wig. Okay,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: all right, So Eva, she made it perfectly clear to
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Cynthia that she was not going to the event. Eva
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: also pointed out to Cynthia that Marlowe's wig game is
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: not good, so why she putting out a hairline of wigs?
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: So anyway, moment on Junior, the ladies they were chilling
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: at the wig party and Candy. She was also trying
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: to find out who was the person that allegedly who
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: allegedly recorded Cynthia talking about Nini, because Nini told Candy
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: somebody recorded Cynthia in their circle talking about her. So
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Kenny was trying to find out what was it? You was, right?
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: So anyway, moving on Marlow, she had this contest between
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Nini and Porscha to see which hair model could you
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: know get this best flat iron look. So they were
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: having fun at the party. What shotnut best flat iron? Little?
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: Yeah for the wig. They were just having you know,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: doing hair and just playing around and having a good
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: time with child. Let me tell you, Junior Shire, tim
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: is Steve Honey, Kenya more March than the party with
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: a small band and crashed Marlowe's wig party. Minute, what
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: do you mean base a band music? Yes, yes, you're
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: not going to show up at my things? She did
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: it better believe No, I'm talking about like drumline, like
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: a little small march with the whistle and everything with
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: the dramas baby. Yes, so anyway she comes into party.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: Kenya Moore crashes Marla's winning party to promote her hair
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: care product. She has a hair care product herself, Kenya,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: and it's called Matter. Yes, yes, yes, yes. So Porscha
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: was blown away til Porsche fell out and said this
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: is straight crazy and insane. She couldn't believe that Kenya
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: crashed Marlowe's party like that. What are you saying, Junior,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: What are you saying? It just matter? It's just a
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: great company name. I just yes, they do they really
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: really do. But anyway, after all of that, all of
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: the drama, all the shade, Nini she left the party
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: because she thought that Kenya it was just too much
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: shade for her to do something like that. And so Kenya,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: you know, Nini has a life coach now, so she
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: was like, I'm gonna go because I don't want to
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: start no mess. I'm trying to do better. So she
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: left the party. Anyway, Marlow asked for security to kick
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Kenya out the Wig party. Kenya left and felt like
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: her mission was complete. She did what she came in
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: to do, but she needed help behind whoop for that.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: All right, So quickly, you guys before we run out
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: of time, have you guys been watching Married to Madison?
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: All right, So the couples they went on a trip
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: to Cabbo and they had a good time. And then
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: the guys they went out to a strip club. Come
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: on Cabo. Yeah, doctor Heavenly's husband, doctor Damon he they
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: were out all night, left dance. So so take a
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: listen to when she asked him about it. Let's go,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: if I go to the strip club, it's not like
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: I cheated, you know, It's not like head sex or
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: something like that or a girl did something to me
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: or something like that. That's all me time anyway. So yes,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: it was off the chain and may he call? So
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: we have to go hit me up at lips of
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: Bark Carlos social media. We could talk about it on
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: a grand Facebook all like kapasa adios. We gotta go
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: to carab we call it. We'll be back. You're listening,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: all right. So earlier we talked about this kid who
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: ran away and he hit out in bed Bathroom Beyond
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: and uh man, what a smart kid, Carolina? Yeah, what
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: a what a smart kid? They got snacks there, they
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: got beds water. I mean, what more do you need?
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: Probably have a TV hooked up somewhere right, So so um,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: we all agreed that Bedbath Beyond was great. But there
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: are a bunch of stories out there that I would
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: live in. I mean really where I would live? So
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: many geez shoe stores yes, Walmart, guitar good oh yes,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Target we know that for what? And shoes and a
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: cooking story that's stupid, junior. What where else would you live?

- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Luberton see a man after my own heart? Many Yeah,

- 1:18:18Speaker 1: I push my tree up right after Thanksgiving though, oh yes, yes, ma'am, yes, ma'am.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: So I don't actually put it up myself. I ask
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: people's Oh okay, oh wow, I didn't know that. Well,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: when you get people all right, coming up our last
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: break of the day, and of course some inspiring closing
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: remarks from the one and only our leader, Steve Harvey.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Right after this at ninety nine, you're listening to Steve
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Steve, we're here, uh, at the last
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: break of the day. Just one more thing. You're closing remarks,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: What do you have for us to day? Steve? Well,
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I think I should talk about dreams because it's such
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: a major component to your success. Dreams are such an
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: important component to success. You can't underplay dreams. See let
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: me tell you something. Education is necessary for certain fields
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: and professions. You want to be a doctor, a lawyer,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: a dentist, a pilot, a scientist, a teacher. Education is
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: so necessary for many professions in this world. But there
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: is nothing, and I repeat, there is nothing more important
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: than your dreams. Your dreams have value. Your dreams wake
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: you up in the morning. The dreams give you hope.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: You know, I'm not saying education doesn't do that. But
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: education don't wake you up in the morning. It's what
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: you dream and hope of becoming with the education that
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: wakes you up. It is your dream that causes you
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: to even get an education. If you want to fly
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: a plane and that's your dream, your dream will cause
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: you to do the things necessary to accomplish the dream.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: That's why I tell people educators in all, if we
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: spent more time talking to our children in our school
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: system about their dreams and visions, we could reduce the
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: dropout rate. But what we're doing is we keep talking
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: to kids about the education, and we're not talking about
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: the kids for the reason for the education. You gotta
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: get your education, because you got to finish school. Finish
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: school for what we have. Got to take time. I'm
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: out to talk about the dreams and visions. I tell
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: parents all the time. If you're not talking to your
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: kids about dreams every ninety days, that's a mistake. Man,
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: that's a mistake because young people change more often than
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: you think. But if you're not revamping your dreams every
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: ninety days as an adult, you're making a mistake because
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: guess what you change also now you know may not
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: change as often as your children, because you become a
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: little bit more subtle when you're older. But you've got
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: to refurbish these dreams. You gotta dust them off, you
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: gotta keep reminding yourself or what the purpose is. Because
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: the dream provides purpose. You wake up in the morning
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: because of what you dream to be. You get excited
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: when the lawnclock, get our goals off because of what
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: you dream to be. Man, don't let nobody fool you. Now,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: listen to me. I'm gonna say this again. Education is important,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: and it's critical to certain things in life, but you
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: can actually make it in this world without one. Now,
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: do you need to have some basics under your belt.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: I strongly suggest you do. And I'm not saying at
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: all that you don't need school, because you do. School
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: offers you a way to become well rounded. That's the
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: thing that school does for you a great deal. It
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: not only educates you, it gives you social skills. It
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: teaches you how to be well rounded. It teaches you
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: to adapt, It teaches you the tool of memorization. So
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: I'm not knocking it at all. But what I am
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: saying to you, if you are like me in any
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: way and you're just not a school person, what you
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: gonna do? You can still be something. If you've blown
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: your education opportunity in life, you can still be something
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: if you just don't feel like you can do school again.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: You can still be something, because the scripture says a
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: man without a dream or vision shall perish. I'm old
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: the Bible inside out. I don't know if I didn't
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: go to theology school anything, so I can't quote it
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: like people can oftentimes. But I don't really don't recall
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: ever going to Sunday School or any service I've ever
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: been to and read a scripture about how necessary your
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: education was. But I have seen repeatedly that a man
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: without a dream or vision shall perish. See the reason
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: you'll die without the dream of the vision, because without
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: the dream of the vision, you'll give up hope. You've
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: heard so many people saying, keep hope alive because it's necessary.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: The dream, the vision. What you see for yourself, your
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: hope for tomorrow, that impossible thing that nobody else can
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: see except you, that thing that floats around in your imagination,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: that keeps pushing you to make you think that's something
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: out there other than this. For me, If you wake
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: up in the morning and then you keep saying yourself, man,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: that's got to be more to my life than this,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: that's because it is. That's because it is your visions
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: and dreams are out there. And let me tell you
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: something else. You got to make your dreams and visions
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: so big, so big that it causes you to overcome
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: all of your fears. See, the fear of failure is
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: in number one cause of failure in this country because
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: people are afraid to fail. But you have to have
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: dreams and visions so big that it just overcomes all
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: of your fears. You've got to want something so big,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: so dynamic to happen in your life. Man, that You've
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: got to make this happen, and the fear is secondary
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: to all of it, and it will cause you to
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: push through. You've got to dream of something so outstanding
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: that in order for it to have to in order
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: for it to happen, you absolutely have to have God's help.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: If you're dreaming of only stuff that you can accomplish yourself,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: I got news for you. You You ain't dreaming big enough.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: Start dreaming big. Increase your dreams. They would change your life.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: It would change your perspective, it would cause your hope
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: to grow. All right, those are my closing remarks. All right, Steve,
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: all right, yeah, y'all have a good one. Hey, can
