- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time? I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all all back giving them like the milling
- 0:16Speaker 1: buck things in it stood, Steve to the mother, I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join Jo. You gotta turn, you gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. Turn you love, got to turn them out.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Turn the water the water. Come, come on your baby,
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:06Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me now wanting only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Man old man, got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: I do. God so big to me, Man, I just
- 2:16Speaker 1: have to tell you about it. I can't help it.
- 2:19Speaker 1: It's rather obvious to me, how big, how good God is.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He's absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain. He owned one,
- 2:30Speaker 1: he'd be clowning, he'd be just showing out. Man. I'm
- 2:35Speaker 1: just over here, just on receiving it. You know, if
- 2:38Speaker 1: you're out there, start your mission today, Start your mission today?
- 2:46Speaker 1: What are you waiting for? Why do we as people
- 2:51Speaker 1: delay what we want or delay the process to begin
- 3:00Speaker 1: what we want our hopes, our dreams, our desires. Why
- 3:04Speaker 1: won't you start your mission today? Why don't we all
- 3:08Speaker 1: decide together that just individually. Look, you're listening. You got
- 3:14Speaker 1: something that you've been dreaming about. You got an ambition
- 3:17Speaker 1: of yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got goals you
- 3:21Speaker 1: haven't accomplished yet. Everybody has them. Everybody's got them. Everybody's
- 3:26Speaker 1: got something that's that's on the table that they haven't
- 3:30Speaker 1: yet attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start your
- 3:33Speaker 1: mission today? Stop the procrastination now. The procrastination is only
- 3:39Speaker 1: hurting you yourself. If you got a goal or aspiration
- 3:43Speaker 1: to dream and you fall off track momentarily, you can
- 3:48Speaker 1: get back to that because God know where you're left off. Now.
- 3:53Speaker 1: You may have to accomplish a few more things since
- 3:55Speaker 1: you stop for a long period of time, but God
- 3:57Speaker 1: know where you left off, you can get back on track.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I look, man, this dream of being on TV since
- 4:03Speaker 1: I was a kid, and it got off track. Now
- 4:06Speaker 1: it got off track. I just kept it as one
- 4:09Speaker 1: of the dreams, and in some real dog moments when
- 4:12Speaker 1: it looked like it wasn't gonna happen, all I was
- 4:16Speaker 1: hanging on too was just the hope that one day
- 4:18Speaker 1: it could. But that's what faith is really about. Faith
- 4:22Speaker 1: is the belief in things that you cannot see. But
- 4:26Speaker 1: faith gives you the confidence to keep hoping. Man. Sometimes
- 4:30Speaker 1: it just keep hope alive. Sometimes you heard Jesse Jackson said,
- 4:34Speaker 1: just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man, it's just the hope.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I was hanging on the hope. And I'm talking about
- 4:42Speaker 1: when it got real ugly and funky out there for me,
- 4:45Speaker 1: when it looked like I wasn't gonna ever make it,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and all of the facts was in and everything pointed
- 4:52Speaker 1: in the direction you're not gonna make it. You didn't
- 4:54Speaker 1: really messed up this time. Then I sat there and
- 4:58Speaker 1: I just hung on to the hope. But man, that's
- 5:02Speaker 1: what I'm saying. If you got a dream on aspiration
- 5:05Speaker 1: of vision or something, when you fall off track and
- 5:09Speaker 1: you want to go get back in line, God holds
- 5:12Speaker 1: your place. See he held on to that fum me.
- 5:15Speaker 1: He knew I was off tracking how the line, but
- 5:18Speaker 1: he said, Okay, here's where we stopped. You want to
- 5:20Speaker 1: be on TV that when you get it together and
- 5:22Speaker 1: you quit tripping and you come in your turn to me,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna hold your place, put you back in line.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Then we're gonna finish your journey. That took me a
- 5:29Speaker 1: lot longer to get here than I wanted to, but
- 5:31Speaker 1: then it was necessary because I needed all of the
- 5:34Speaker 1: mishaps to happen to me along the way. So when
- 5:37Speaker 1: I got on the radio one day, which I did
- 5:39Speaker 1: not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.
- 5:42Speaker 1: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
- 5:44Speaker 1: this radio show that I didn't see coming. Now I
- 5:47Speaker 1: have stories to tell. I got experiences to share, and
- 5:52Speaker 1: I can tell you about me better than I can
- 5:54Speaker 1: tell you about anybody. And I've been through enough where
- 5:58Speaker 1: it's relatable, where enough people can go. Man, that happened
- 6:01Speaker 1: to me, appreciate you saying that that's what it was for. See,
- 6:05Speaker 1: I get it now. See at the time, though I didn't,
- 6:07Speaker 1: I didn't like what was happening to me. At the time,
- 6:10Speaker 1: I was really in total disagreement with God on a
- 6:13Speaker 1: lot of stuff he was pulling off on me. But
- 6:15Speaker 1: in essence, I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 6:19Speaker 1: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
- 6:21Speaker 1: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 6:26Speaker 1: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
- 6:31Speaker 1: there indeed wrong. He forgave me, he said, because man
- 6:35Speaker 1: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
- 6:38Speaker 1: for you that it is going to be far and above.
- 6:42Speaker 1: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
- 6:46Speaker 1: I did. I just got sick of me, good and
- 6:49Speaker 1: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And then God started working and here I am today
- 6:57Speaker 1: now as he threw it me. Yet Nope. If I
- 7:00Speaker 1: arrived yet, nope. But guess what the journey is cool?
- 7:05Speaker 1: You know. It's like I was talking to this young
- 7:07Speaker 1: brother the other day about comedy and he's really good
- 7:11Speaker 1: stand up. You know, this young dude is really good.
- 7:14Speaker 1: He said, Man, what is this I feel every night
- 7:17Speaker 1: before I go on stage. I don't know what it is.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I just wanted off me, I said, sir, listen to me,
- 7:23Speaker 1: you young dude. This thing that climbs on my back
- 7:28Speaker 1: every night before I go on stage. I don't know
- 7:30Speaker 1: what it is. It's got something to do with pressure,
- 7:33Speaker 1: It's got something to do with anticipation. It's got a
- 7:36Speaker 1: whole lot to do with the fear of falling. He said,
- 7:39Speaker 1: what you mean by that? I said, every night I
- 7:41Speaker 1: walk out on stage, it's like I'm about to go
- 7:44Speaker 1: and step off a cliff. I said, it's a sickening feeling.
- 7:48Speaker 1: He said, man, but you do so well. I said,
- 7:50Speaker 1: that's because the parachute opens. I say, but I want
- 7:54Speaker 1: you to understand something. When I first walk out there,
- 7:56Speaker 1: it's just stepping off the cliff. Now, these jokes provide
- 8:01Speaker 1: a parachute which slows my descent when I jump off
- 8:05Speaker 1: the cliff, and I turned it into a glide. And
- 8:09Speaker 1: then I take the audience this way and I swing
- 8:11Speaker 1: them back over that way. We might swing out to
- 8:14Speaker 1: the Colorado Rockies. We may go down to Miami with
- 8:17Speaker 1: this joke. We may take it on out to LA
- 8:20Speaker 1: and I just swing back and forth till I land softly.
- 8:23Speaker 1: The crowd cheers. The night is over with, I said,
- 8:26Speaker 1: but it's been too many nights though. When I walked
- 8:28Speaker 1: off that cliff and I pulled the cord and the
- 8:31Speaker 1: parachute didn't open, I said, Now I'm just free falling
- 8:34Speaker 1: out there for thirty minutes. Ain't no jokes working. Ain't
- 8:37Speaker 1: the parachute didn't open? I said, So see, that's what
- 8:41Speaker 1: it's like for me. And then you know what I
- 8:43Speaker 1: found out. If you don't walked off the cliff in life,
- 8:47Speaker 1: and you ain't got no God in your life. It's
- 8:50Speaker 1: like not having a parachute. You step off the cliff
- 8:53Speaker 1: and you just free falling. Now see we all now
- 8:58Speaker 1: that fall gets you closer to the grave, right, See,
- 9:00Speaker 1: we all head into the grave from the moment we're born.
- 9:03Speaker 1: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 9:06Speaker 1: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 9:08Speaker 1: here a parachute. You're still going down, but it's a
- 9:12Speaker 1: nice ride, and God just helps your your descent appear
- 9:17Speaker 1: more like a rise and then more like a euphoric fall.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Instead of not having no God in your life and
- 9:24Speaker 1: you just walking off that cliff every day, free falling.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Ain't got no core, You steady pulling, you hollering the
- 9:31Speaker 1: whole way because you messed around with yourself, and ain't
- 9:34Speaker 1: let God come into your life and provide a parachute
- 9:37Speaker 1: for you. I would rather have a parachute since I
- 9:40Speaker 1: got to jump every day, than to not have one.
- 9:44Speaker 1: God has been like a parachute from me. Ask me
- 9:48Speaker 1: why where that came from. I can't tell you. But
- 9:51Speaker 1: like I always say, most good things that happened in
- 9:53Speaker 1: my life that I can't explain, it's usually him you're listening.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, everybody, let me have your undivided detention.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It's only crack. We're back again, by the grace of God.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Well boy, we're still here doing swell, doing some great things.
- 10:13Speaker 1: This is Steve Harvey Morning Show. We come to celebrate
- 10:16Speaker 1: life today. We come to celebrate life today, even though
- 10:21Speaker 1: it's a different norm and a different time for all
- 10:24Speaker 1: of us. All it is all of us, and so
- 10:27Speaker 1: it's a different time for everybody. We're here to celebrate. Listen.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I know it's easy for some people to say, hey,
- 10:34Speaker 1: just find something to do. Its busy, But let me
- 10:37Speaker 1: tell you something. Everybody has to deal with this thing
- 10:39Speaker 1: from their perspective, and it's all in perspective. Somebody got
- 10:43Speaker 1: bigger house to walk around than other people's house. We
- 10:46Speaker 1: all have to hang in there. We all got to
- 10:48Speaker 1: pull for each other. We all got to take care
- 10:50Speaker 1: of each other, and we all got to look out
- 10:52Speaker 1: for one another. If you know somebody old man, just
- 10:56Speaker 1: go by, make sure they're okay, you understand, make sure
- 10:59Speaker 1: they got something e We just got to I think
- 11:01Speaker 1: this is a time where we can we could just
- 11:04Speaker 1: show that we all better. This is the Steve Harvard
- 11:06Speaker 1: Morning Show. Which is better? Shirley Strawberry, Good morning, Steve,
- 11:14Speaker 1: Colin Pharrell, Good morning, Steve. What's up? Crewe Dad, Dad,
- 11:19Speaker 1: Damn Junior morn morning everybody and the food nephew timing
- 11:26Speaker 1: ya ya in the building right, man? Can feel good today? Sure? Um?
- 11:35Speaker 1: If you put clothes on and then take them off
- 11:38Speaker 1: and then put them on the next day, is that dirty?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Mm hmm. Now have you left you ain't been aware? Yeah?
- 11:46Speaker 1: What I did? I got it back home. Yeah, they're
- 11:48Speaker 1: not dirty now after day two they're gonna be dirty. Yeah, okay,
- 11:56Speaker 1: rules still in place. I was like to see amen. Amen.
- 12:00Speaker 1: First of all, let me tell you something. Here's what
- 12:03Speaker 1: I really have appreciated about being on lockdown since yet,
- 12:08Speaker 1: since March thirteenth, I have had on no draws my bottom. Yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 1: I ain't have not had on a pair of Tommy
- 12:19Speaker 1: John underwear since March thirteenth. You're having pans. You just
- 12:25Speaker 1: don't have an under yeah. Yeah, sweatpants stuff you do
- 12:29Speaker 1: like me all out in the backyard in the morning,
- 12:36Speaker 1: neighbors is like just tripping with me. I'm t shirted nothing.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I can't Why I can't do that? It's my yard.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I ain't going nowhere. I can't do that, Tom, Steve Harvey, No,
- 12:52Speaker 1: I can't work because I'm Steve Harvey and I'm just blessed.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I ain't aware. Well I can do it. But the breeze, though, girl,
- 13:02Speaker 1: the breeze, see Timmy, he can do that. Who baby
- 13:07Speaker 1: out in the back? Nick, walk around you know you
- 13:19Speaker 1: six two and walk out there with you with no draws.
- 13:23Speaker 1: It's different. All right? Hold that thought. Coming up with
- 13:27Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, we're gonna do another
- 13:30Speaker 1: edition of Ask the Clo. Because the CLO, the Chief
- 13:33Speaker 1: Love Officer is in the building. Steve is going to
- 13:36Speaker 1: help someone with their relationships. That's coming up right after this.
- 13:40Speaker 1: That baby gonna fall in net pool. You're listening to
- 13:45Speaker 1: the show all right. Time now for Ask the Clo.
- 13:50Speaker 1: The Chief Love Officer is in the building, Steve. This
- 13:53Speaker 1: one is from Darryl in East Texas. He says, my
- 13:56Speaker 1: girlfriend and I have known each other since we were
- 13:58Speaker 1: seven years old. We started dating and it started over
- 14:01Speaker 1: say that again. I missed it. My girlfriend and I
- 14:04Speaker 1: have known each other since we were seven years old.
- 14:07Speaker 1: We started dating in the tenth grade and we haven't
- 14:10Speaker 1: spent a moment apart since then. We are in our
- 14:13Speaker 1: mid twenties now and I want to marry her. She
- 14:17Speaker 1: said we should not get married right away, and she
- 14:19Speaker 1: suggested we separate for a while to date other people
- 14:23Speaker 1: before we decide on marriage. Someone is in her head
- 14:27Speaker 1: and making her think there may be something better out
- 14:29Speaker 1: there for her. I don't want to lose her. What
- 14:31Speaker 1: should I do? Well, you're right, brother, but something is
- 14:37Speaker 1: going on. It might not be nobody in her head.
- 14:40Speaker 1: She could be in her own head. She hasn't experienced
- 14:43Speaker 1: much a life, and a lot of times, you know,
- 14:46Speaker 1: with Instagram and being able to see all these highlights
- 14:49Speaker 1: of other people's lives, sometimes it's best to go out
- 14:54Speaker 1: there to make sure that you can experience life as
- 14:58Speaker 1: you know it and explain something to your young brother.
- 15:02Speaker 1: If you lose her, it wasn't meant to be. See
- 15:07Speaker 1: what you think is meant to be. If the two
- 15:10Speaker 1: of you don't think it's meant to be, it ain't
- 15:12Speaker 1: gonna be. And I was waiting on you to say
- 15:15Speaker 1: you want to hold off and go explore, but she
- 15:19Speaker 1: wants to explore. Hey, man, listen to me. If if
- 15:22Speaker 1: she gets married and does not scratch that itch. You're
- 15:28Speaker 1: going to have a problem, So let her go. And
- 15:32Speaker 1: I know it's hard, man, I know it's hard to
- 15:35Speaker 1: let her go. And you've been with her since you seven,
- 15:37Speaker 1: but that don't count. Dog, take all that we were
- 15:39Speaker 1: together at seven sixteen. Yeah, you know, y'all start dating
- 15:45Speaker 1: in high school, y'all in your twenties, and you've never
- 15:47Speaker 1: been apart. But she needs a chance to grow and develop,
- 15:51Speaker 1: and you have to allow her that. If you love her,
- 15:55Speaker 1: let her grow and develop. It doesn't mean that you
- 15:57Speaker 1: know she'll fall in love with somebody. But okay, in
- 16:00Speaker 1: the letter, did he say she wants to start dating
- 16:02Speaker 1: other people? Yeah, she said, den Bro, let me explain something.
- 16:06Speaker 1: You need to get ready to go start dating other
- 16:08Speaker 1: people too. Yeah, And it's time for both of you
- 16:11Speaker 1: to go experience that. Because if a woman says that
- 16:14Speaker 1: she wants to start dating other people, Bro, that ain't
- 16:16Speaker 1: a cage though that you can close. When he started,
- 16:22Speaker 1: und don't that that that that burg gonna fly out
- 16:26Speaker 1: that cage. Bro, y'all going to split up for a
- 16:28Speaker 1: little while, it's meant to be you get back together.
- 16:31Speaker 1: That's right, all right, Steve. This is from the Laurel
- 16:35Speaker 1: in la Um. My husband and I are newly weds,
- 16:38Speaker 1: and I thought by being stuck at home together, we'd
- 16:41Speaker 1: have lots of fun bonding time. It's just the opposite.
- 16:45Speaker 1: My husband thinks I'm his chef and plans his meals
- 16:49Speaker 1: and tells me what he wants for dinner each day.
- 16:52Speaker 1: He's never been a small man, and he's steadily gaining
- 16:55Speaker 1: weight while being here at the house. He is always
- 16:58Speaker 1: snacking and drinking soda. He sleeps still new and binge
- 17:02Speaker 1: watches TV. I know he's stressed and dealing with a lot,
- 17:05Speaker 1: but I am losing interest in him. Is there a
- 17:07Speaker 1: way I can tell him to get it together without
- 17:10Speaker 1: hurting his feelings? No, you got to hurt Come on,
- 17:13Speaker 1: he gotta get his ass around there. No, you gotta
- 17:15Speaker 1: get the move. No you can't. There's no way around this.
- 17:21Speaker 1: You didn't wrote in a letter. You're already at your
- 17:24Speaker 1: breaking point. You have to tell him he was big
- 17:27Speaker 1: when you met it. He's sitting there, he's getting bigger.
- 17:30Speaker 1: You wanted to have a full relationship. You're not the chelf,
- 17:35Speaker 1: you know. Y'all need to switch you up. Wrong play.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Y'all got to introduce something exciting right now because this
- 17:41Speaker 1: quarantine is helping a lot of marriages. But this quarantine
- 17:44Speaker 1: is ending some marriages too, Yes, it is because there's
- 17:47Speaker 1: some people understanding some stuff. See. See, when you can
- 17:50Speaker 1: go to work and get away from a person, you
- 17:52Speaker 1: allowed to miss him, you know, you get to go
- 17:54Speaker 1: off and have other conversations with other adults, not nothing sexual,
- 17:59Speaker 1: just interacting with other people, and then come back home
- 18:02Speaker 1: and you could discuss your day. Girl, what you do.
- 18:04Speaker 1: I see you look good when you take that out
- 18:06Speaker 1: the way, you have to genuinely like the person you're
- 18:10Speaker 1: in this quarantine with. You have to seriously genuinely like
- 18:15Speaker 1: this person. True, because this quarantine, man, this thing right here,
- 18:20Speaker 1: man bringing a whole lot of truths out. You gonna
- 18:25Speaker 1: know the truth in here and what you thought you
- 18:28Speaker 1: found out now that you don't have. So you have
- 18:31Speaker 1: to address him. And while you're in this quarantine is
- 18:33Speaker 1: a good time to address him. Yeah, Nigel in Detroit Steve, Yeah,
- 18:39Speaker 1: that's gonna be a tough one right there. Nigel in
- 18:42Speaker 1: Detroit says, I'm twenty eight years old and I moved
- 18:44Speaker 1: to Detroit recently for a great job, and I met
- 18:48Speaker 1: my soulmate. We've been dating for nine months and I've
- 18:51Speaker 1: totally fallen for her. But there's one problem. She won't
- 18:55Speaker 1: go to church with me. She told me she was
- 18:58Speaker 1: inappropriately touched by preacher when she was a teenager, so
- 19:02Speaker 1: she gave up going to church altogether. Nigel says, my
- 19:07Speaker 1: dad is a preacher and I love going to church
- 19:10Speaker 1: to keep my focus. Can our relationship survive if she's
- 19:13Speaker 1: not willing to ever step foot in a church again? No, no, no, no,
- 19:21Speaker 1: your marriage can survive church. You love, she wants nothing
- 19:25Speaker 1: to do with it. And this is not Steve talking.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Now there's a scripture. Surely might know it, but when
- 19:31Speaker 1: you marry, you shouldn't marry somebody that's equally yo, meaning
- 19:37Speaker 1: y'all kind of like the same things. Basically. Now, if
- 19:41Speaker 1: you love church and she was inappropriately touched by a
- 19:45Speaker 1: past one time and she want nothing to do with it, now,
- 19:48Speaker 1: it doesn't mean that the relationship is over with, but
- 19:50Speaker 1: you have to get her to see another side. Maybe
- 19:54Speaker 1: if you got her to just come to your church,
- 19:57Speaker 1: just say hey, look, I really want you to come.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Just give it a tribe. My dad is great. You
- 20:02Speaker 1: know you might you might enjoy it. Let's just go,
- 20:05Speaker 1: let's sit in the back, you know, and just see
- 20:08Speaker 1: if you enjoy the service. And you could try that,
- 20:11Speaker 1: I wouldn't give up. Owner. Sometimes, you know, there's complications
- 20:15Speaker 1: and getting what you want out of life. So sometimes,
- 20:18Speaker 1: young man, you got to you got to work for it.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I mean, she may turn out to be a great
- 20:23Speaker 1: person to go to church with it. She may really
- 20:26Speaker 1: turn out to be your soul mate. But you can't
- 20:28Speaker 1: break up because she won't go to church. You got
- 20:30Speaker 1: to keep trying. Mine father never went to church ever.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Him and my mama was married for sixty four years
- 20:41Speaker 1: and then finally she started getting him to go to church. Wow, Okay,
- 20:46Speaker 1: coming up right after this, we'll have your wife don't
- 20:48Speaker 1: go to church. That's different though, Yeah. Different. If you
- 20:56Speaker 1: tell me, I'm gonna run that break back. Right after this.
- 20:59Speaker 1: You're listening morning show coming up at the top of
- 21:04Speaker 1: the hour and entertainment news Amy Schumer changes her baby's name.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Wait till you hear why plus and tell me something
- 21:12Speaker 1: good good news. A man in New Jersey blessed four
- 21:16Speaker 1: fast food workers with ten thousand dollars each. Wait till
- 21:20Speaker 1: you this is a great story. I saw this four thousand,
- 21:23Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars each. Four people, ten thousand dollars. Oh,
- 21:27Speaker 1: four people, yeah, ten thousand, No, no, no, ten thousand,
- 21:33Speaker 1: four fast food workers with ten grand each. And Miss
- 21:36Speaker 1: Anna's standing by with more of today's COVID nineteen national news.
- 21:40Speaker 1: But right now it is time for the nephew to
- 21:42Speaker 1: run that prank back. Hey, Neff, what you got for us?
- 21:45Speaker 1: All the parents out there across America? This is for you.
- 21:50Speaker 1: You are not a good teacher. You're not You're not
- 21:56Speaker 1: a good teacher. Let's go cad. Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 22:02Speaker 1: to reach a Nikki. How you doing, Nikki? I am,
- 22:08Speaker 1: I'm mister Daniels. I'm calling from the E Learning Department. Hey,
- 22:12Speaker 1: all right? Your daughter is is Jasmine? Correct? Sixth grader? Yes?
- 22:19Speaker 1: All right? And you've been um, you guys have been
- 22:21Speaker 1: corresponding back and forth with miss her teacher. Yes all right,
- 22:26Speaker 1: So here's my I'm calling. Uh. Miss has brought some
- 22:30Speaker 1: things to my attention. Uh, Nikki, if you don't mind,
- 22:33Speaker 1: who's who's actually helping Jasmine with her schoolwork every day?
- 22:40Speaker 1: What a task? All right? So I hate to be
- 22:43Speaker 1: a bearer of bad news, but let me let you
- 22:45Speaker 1: know what's going on. No, that's not anything wrong with
- 22:49Speaker 1: her computer at all. I've spoken with miss several times
- 22:52Speaker 1: about Jasmine and we've just bawled it down to whoever's
- 22:56Speaker 1: helping her with her work is just not doing a
- 23:00Speaker 1: good job. You should not be the person that's helping
- 23:03Speaker 1: her with her schoolwork. Okay, hold on that what you
- 23:07Speaker 1: mean I shouldn't be helping her. That's my child, I
- 23:10Speaker 1: understand my child. I'm saying, whoever is teaching her is
- 23:15Speaker 1: not doing a good job as a teacher, you know,
- 23:18Speaker 1: And this could affect Jasmine to the point where from
- 23:20Speaker 1: the looks of what I've seen and what's been turned in,
- 23:24Speaker 1: I truly don't see Jasmine going to the seventh grade.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I mean, this is this is Is there anybody else
- 23:29Speaker 1: there that can help Jasmine with her work? No? She
- 23:32Speaker 1: got she got me what's wrong for her work? Got
- 23:36Speaker 1: to say, because I just taught to her and she
- 23:38Speaker 1: could have told me this, what's what? What what's the subject?
- 23:41Speaker 1: What's the problem? Well, it's all yes, it is, yes
- 23:47Speaker 1: it is. What's the problem. What's what's the problem? Give
- 23:50Speaker 1: me the assignments because I'm I've been working with her,
- 23:53Speaker 1: So what's the problem. Everything is coming back. I think
- 23:57Speaker 1: the last paper I looked at she got a four
- 24:00Speaker 1: forty five on it. I looked at some math work,
- 24:03Speaker 1: it was a sixty two. I mean, if you are
- 24:06Speaker 1: the person that's teaching her over there, you're just not
- 24:09Speaker 1: good at that. Admitted. Now you hold on and you
- 24:13Speaker 1: can get missing on the phone too, because I don't, y'all,
- 24:16Speaker 1: don't got my baby work. And then she got a problems.
- 24:18Speaker 1: You can come to tease the child. She can open
- 24:21Speaker 1: up the schools and get them back. There's no opening
- 24:25Speaker 1: the schools at this point. Right now, there's no opening
- 24:27Speaker 1: of the schools. So she got a problem. If she
- 24:31Speaker 1: got a problem, then she could come teach my child.
- 24:33Speaker 1: That's what she's supposed to be doing anyway. Okay, But
- 24:36Speaker 1: the problem is right now, you're the person that's at
- 24:39Speaker 1: home teaching. You're the person that's at home teaching the girl,
- 24:43Speaker 1: and it's not helping. So I don't want Jasmine to
- 24:47Speaker 1: not make it to the seventh grade. But at this
- 24:49Speaker 1: point that's what it's looking like. Well, look, if I
- 24:52Speaker 1: got the teacher, then she's gonna learn it how I
- 24:54Speaker 1: learned it. Okay, we're just math, isn't do math. They
- 24:57Speaker 1: got these kids doing. No, she's gonna learn Howler five
- 25:00Speaker 1: times five twenty five. She's gonna learn her time tax. Okay,
- 25:03Speaker 1: but we can't learn. Man, you're undoing what we've taught already.
- 25:08Speaker 1: You can't take them back. Y'all need to teach it
- 25:10Speaker 1: to y'all need to teach it a better way. I
- 25:12Speaker 1: send my child to school for this, Okay, I'm not
- 25:14Speaker 1: getting paid. I gotta cook, I gotta clean on me
- 25:17Speaker 1: here with these kids. I'm mean, I'm a mother, throw
- 25:20Speaker 1: all these kids and my husband. I don't have time
- 25:22Speaker 1: for all of this. So if if the teacher, well,
- 25:26Speaker 1: let me say this, miss Nick. Let me let me
- 25:28Speaker 1: say this, miss Nick, I don't have time for a
- 25:30Speaker 1: parent not realizing that they're not a good teacher. I
- 25:34Speaker 1: don't have time for that. Whoever, who are you, whoever
- 25:37Speaker 1: you are, E learning department, whatever, you need to come
- 25:41Speaker 1: eat learn my child because I'm not doing it right.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Then y'all need to come get over here and do
- 25:45Speaker 1: this mother work. O. Man, if you got to the
- 25:49Speaker 1: seventh grade, if I got to come up does when
- 25:51Speaker 1: it when the school open back old term, you will
- 25:53Speaker 1: see me. We'll go this. We got Okay, we're going on.
- 25:57Speaker 1: You are not a good homeschool teacher. That's the baby.
- 26:02Speaker 1: My child is going through the seventh grade. Oh che, No,
- 26:07Speaker 1: who's your print? Who is the prince? No? No, won't
- 26:10Speaker 1: be talking to somebody else. My child is. What's the
- 26:13Speaker 1: seventh grade? She gonna get this? She getting this works
- 26:16Speaker 1: if y'all, y'all gonna get this work too. I'm not
- 26:18Speaker 1: accepting forty five and sixty two's on papers, ma'am, and
- 26:24Speaker 1: gonna let you your daughter advance to the seventh grade.
- 26:27Speaker 1: That's you're right. I'll check it over, but John need
- 26:30Speaker 1: to do to check and if she's no, no, no,
- 26:32Speaker 1: no once once again? You checking it over is the problem.
- 26:37Speaker 1: You're the problem, sir, sir, if she got a problem.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Once you got the piece first, what's you gotta go first?
- 26:48Speaker 1: Let to check the work. What's the difference? Let you
- 26:50Speaker 1: tease to check the work? Not coming you no more?
- 26:56Speaker 1: And you hold on, what's your name again? You're talking
- 26:59Speaker 1: to me? My name is mister Day. Okay, I'm learning. Okay,
- 27:04Speaker 1: I don't give a damn phone when like I care,
- 27:09Speaker 1: I don't care. I'm the first answers me, and you
- 27:11Speaker 1: get off this phone. I'm calling her so right immediately,
- 27:15Speaker 1: so she could tell me all this stuff you got
- 27:17Speaker 1: to tell me. She don't gotta hide behind you. She
- 27:19Speaker 1: can call me directly. So thank you listing days letting
- 27:23Speaker 1: me know. Oh it's about to go down. I don't
- 27:26Speaker 1: even dare. I don't care no more. Just cool. If
- 27:28Speaker 1: y'all got an issue, when the way I'm teaching, take
- 27:31Speaker 1: your kids back, come teaching the front yard. I open
- 27:33Speaker 1: up my dough. You could talk tea my time. From
- 27:35Speaker 1: my side. You got a problem with it, but that's it.
- 27:38Speaker 1: From right now. I'm all she got. I don't what
- 27:40Speaker 1: she got. I'm a teacher. She gonna learn it the
- 27:43Speaker 1: way I'm teaching her. If y'all got a problem, y'all
- 27:46Speaker 1: got a problem. But she going to the seventh grade,
- 27:48Speaker 1: or best believe my baby going to the seventh grade. Okay,
- 27:52Speaker 1: maybe maybe I just maybe I need to talk to Brian,
- 27:54Speaker 1: your husband. Maybe I need to talk to Brian. I'm like,
- 27:57Speaker 1: what you were talking to me. You were telling me
- 28:00Speaker 1: you don't need to talk to him. You were talking
- 28:02Speaker 1: to me. I speak for both of us, so not
- 28:04Speaker 1: taught to me. Yeah, okay, well I just I spoke
- 28:08Speaker 1: with Brian a couple of days ago. So can you
- 28:11Speaker 1: say nothing to me so as Brian? Okay, okay, but
- 28:15Speaker 1: but you know what what Brian said about this, because
- 28:18Speaker 1: he tell me nothing. What Brian told me to call you.
- 28:22Speaker 1: He told me to prank phone call you. This is
- 28:24Speaker 1: nephew tim Me from the Steve Harvey Martin Show. Nikki,
- 28:27Speaker 1: you just got pranked by your husband Brian. These kids
- 28:36Speaker 1: been driving me up the wall understanding this up? These
- 28:42Speaker 1: kids driving me? What good man? Look coronavirus gonna have
- 28:55Speaker 1: to see me after it? Is this too much? I
- 28:57Speaker 1: decided drinking? Oh Lord, getting your kids? Tell me one
- 29:02Speaker 1: more thing, baby, it's twenty twenty. Tell me what is
- 29:04Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 29:07Speaker 1: the land. Is the Steve Harvey Morning. Oh tell me
- 29:11Speaker 1: you're crazy? Okay, I know, coming up at the top
- 29:18Speaker 1: of the hour, entertainment and national news. Right after this,
- 29:21Speaker 1: you're listening to morning show and today's entertainment news. Amy
- 29:28Speaker 1: Schumer and her husband Chris Fisher have changed their son's
- 29:32Speaker 1: middle name. All right, listen closely, guys. Their son's name
- 29:38Speaker 1: was JENITL. Fisher. Okay, But then Amy said she and
- 29:43Speaker 1: her husband realized that they had accidentally named their son
- 29:47Speaker 1: genital accident. That's what they say. Okay, they didn't think
- 29:59Speaker 1: this from the beginning. Well, I mean, you don't think
- 30:03Speaker 1: about gene a Tell Fisher, Gene Jake, not any tee
- 30:13Speaker 1: Gena Tell Gene Gene is one name and then a Tale.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Huh a Tale is his second name. Yeah, middle name,
- 30:23Speaker 1: but it sounds like Gentitan. Yeah it sounds I knew that. Yeah. Anyway,
- 30:33Speaker 1: they changed into Gene David Fisher, which was supposed to
- 30:37Speaker 1: be the first place. Yea, Gene David Fisher. So there
- 30:43Speaker 1: you go. Yeah, yeah, Genita, somebody get Gentital off me.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Or you could have named you gene ne Us. What's
- 30:58Speaker 1: his last name, Gene Fisher, gene Nius Fisher, Genius Fisher.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I like that, yeah, Us Janius. I could and this
- 31:10Speaker 1: story right here like really really interesting, but I really
- 31:14Speaker 1: don't care. It's kind of funny, kind of funny. Yeah,
- 31:21Speaker 1: all right, time for tell me something good news, uh, Jane.
- 31:26Speaker 1: His name is Jay Manzini. Manzini. He stood at a
- 31:30Speaker 1: Checkers drive through window in New Jersey. He was asking
- 31:33Speaker 1: the cashier how much money he makes an hour and
- 31:36Speaker 1: how many people were currently working that shift. He then
- 31:39Speaker 1: asked the man to tell everyone working to come to
- 31:42Speaker 1: the window so he could give them something. Moments later,
- 31:45Speaker 1: the man j Menzine, he pulled out a four pulled
- 31:48Speaker 1: out four ten thousand bands. You know how they have
- 31:52Speaker 1: the ten thousand dollars in those rappers. He pulled out
- 31:54Speaker 1: four of them. He handed it to each worker. I
- 31:57Speaker 1: mean they were they were just shook. It was a
- 32:00Speaker 1: beautiful thing to see that. They were like, oh my god,
- 32:03Speaker 1: are you serious? Ten thousand dollars? He was like yeah, yeah,
- 32:07Speaker 1: I mean he thanked They thanked him, and it was
- 32:11Speaker 1: just a great thing, you know, especially today. He just
- 32:14Speaker 1: said he decided to help a few people that worked
- 32:17Speaker 1: in checkers. Um, it's the one of the New Jersey. Yeah. Now,
- 32:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something because I used to work
- 32:24Speaker 1: at a burger king. But if I'd have been in
- 32:26Speaker 1: that check in the position I was in back then,
- 32:29Speaker 1: and somebody came in their hand to meet the ten thousand,
- 32:32Speaker 1: I'd have stripped down after uniform and walked straight out
- 32:34Speaker 1: that damn dough. Now let me ask you this. When
- 32:37Speaker 1: you get home, do you let everybody know you got
- 32:41Speaker 1: the team? Dog? I'll be so quiet, because I already
- 32:46Speaker 1: know my family in the big my ass had to death.
- 32:48Speaker 1: I might have eight hundred. Now, no, Joe, I'll be
- 32:54Speaker 1: dog dog. I take a little checkout fit, all lead,
- 32:58Speaker 1: a little stuff. Then well I had no shirt on,
- 33:00Speaker 1: none of that. Won't with the hat on the top.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Go sit down in my college, a little poly after pans,
- 33:05Speaker 1: drive them all rad my bike home something, because that's
- 33:09Speaker 1: what I was doing back then, eighteen and i'd drove
- 33:11Speaker 1: to my house. I'd to quit. But just in case,
- 33:14Speaker 1: just in case he robbed a bank and they can't
- 33:17Speaker 1: even collecting money, I'm gone. Yeah, but unity mother saying
- 33:24Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars when I was eighteen years old. Oh
- 33:26Speaker 1: my god, Now that's nineteenth situation. Yeah, all right, Steve.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Time now for today's headlines, ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne Trip,
- 33:37Speaker 1: thank you, good morning everybody out there. Well, the numbers
- 33:39Speaker 1: are in. The FEDS say that sales in the retail
- 33:42Speaker 1: area fell a whopping eight point seven percent last month,
- 33:45Speaker 1: with stores closed and people told to stay home. So
- 33:47Speaker 1: it's not to spread the coronavirus. Now, I've already said
- 33:50Speaker 1: that the almost ten percent dropping clothing sales in March
- 33:53Speaker 1: was the largest drop in retail sales that the government
- 33:56Speaker 1: has reported since it began tracking store sales thirty years ago.
- 33:59Speaker 1: If you show that Americans are still spending a decent
- 34:01Speaker 1: amount on food and online deliveries, but that very little
- 34:05Speaker 1: is being spent on clothing, furniture, and accessories things like that,
- 34:08Speaker 1: also restaurants and bars are also suffered. Consumer spending is
- 34:12Speaker 1: considered the main engine of the nation's economic activity in
- 34:15Speaker 1: the US, and economists are predicting a similar slowdown for
- 34:18Speaker 1: the month of April. This one. By the way, President
- 34:21Speaker 1: Trump now claiming that the World Health Organization delayed raising
- 34:24Speaker 1: the alarm over the threat of the coronavirus. However, the
- 34:27Speaker 1: president's critics say he's just looking for a scapegoat to
- 34:30Speaker 1: keep the American people from blaming him for the moves
- 34:33Speaker 1: he made and didn't make before COVID nineteen became so
- 34:36Speaker 1: rampant in our country and had to be shut down
- 34:39Speaker 1: in a presidential election year. As folks for the Global
- 34:42Speaker 1: Health Organization says they were very clear about the possibility
- 34:45Speaker 1: of Corona going worldwide back in January that President Trump
- 34:49Speaker 1: knew it. Trump says he's holding up the annual financial
- 34:52Speaker 1: support that the US gives to the WHL, which is
- 34:54Speaker 1: like hundreds of millions of dollars. Meanwhile, the President now
- 34:57Speaker 1: says he'd like to see schools and businesses reopened on
- 34:59Speaker 1: May first. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says, though he's
- 35:02Speaker 1: urging good sense in some caution, until you have the vaccine,
- 35:06Speaker 1: until you have the medical treatment, what do you do?
- 35:09Speaker 1: How are you building the bridge? Well, it's going to
- 35:12Speaker 1: be a phased reopening, right and during the phase reopening,
- 35:16Speaker 1: make sure you do no harm and keep your eye
- 35:19Speaker 1: on the public health issue. The nation's capital has now
- 35:23Speaker 1: wrapped up more than twenty one hundred confirmed cases of
- 35:26Speaker 1: the coronavirus, so DC may Or Memorial Bowser is extending
- 35:30Speaker 1: the state of emergency in the district till May fifteenth.
- 35:33Speaker 1: We aim to protect DC residents and save lives, and
- 35:37Speaker 1: that means doing everything we can to protect our most
- 35:40Speaker 1: vulnerable residents. At least five hotels in the district are
- 35:44Speaker 1: being used to treat and isolate virus victims. The Florida
- 35:48Speaker 1: Supreme Court has rule that the government leegedy responsible for
- 35:50Speaker 1: the mass killings at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland,
- 35:53Speaker 1: Florida two years ago, can be ordered to disclose the
- 35:56Speaker 1: names of the expert witnesses who've interviewed him in jail.
- 36:00Speaker 1: By the way, all those no new economic stimulus checks
- 36:03Speaker 1: have President Trump's name on him. This is the first
- 36:05Speaker 1: time that a president's name has ever appeared on a
- 36:07Speaker 1: federal check. And finally, this is kick Corona. Kick Corona
- 36:15Speaker 1: in the butt. Now back to Steve harvey Mourning Show.
- 36:18Speaker 1: You're listening to this, President Trump and the rest of
- 36:24Speaker 1: Americans are ready for sports. I know you guys, are
- 36:27Speaker 1: you talking about a lot? Yeah? Well, Dallas Mavericks owner
- 36:32Speaker 1: Mark Cuban is an advisor to the President on how
- 36:35Speaker 1: to reopen sports. Cuban says, no masks for basketball players.
- 36:39Speaker 1: That's not the answer. Too much uncertainty there. Doctor Fauci had,
- 36:44Speaker 1: a medical doctor on the Coronavirus Pandemic task Force, said
- 36:48Speaker 1: that he is a baseball fan and he is ready
- 36:50Speaker 1: to see a Washington Nationals game too, but he suggests
- 36:54Speaker 1: that if athletes play, it should be no fans or
- 36:57Speaker 1: spectators and test the athletes every week so they will
- 37:01Speaker 1: not infect each other. However, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti
- 37:06Speaker 1: said large gatherings like sports events and concerts will most
- 37:09Speaker 1: likely be postponed for one year, at least until twenty
- 37:13Speaker 1: twenty one. He said that, no, hold on, hold on,
- 37:18Speaker 1: man here you NBA. No no, no, no, no, no, no, no, man,
- 37:22Speaker 1: he's he's not. He might say, you can't play in LA,
- 37:25Speaker 1: but they're gonna be playing at somewhere if if they
- 37:27Speaker 1: say play, if the NBA say played, they play it somewhere. Well,
- 37:30Speaker 1: he sang, in Los Angeles. I mean that's he's Los Angeles.
- 37:35Speaker 1: That's jumping the gun. Though. Yeah, man, he don't know.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Likely most likely, No, Shirley, but just dude, he can't
- 37:43Speaker 1: what are you all over their fault? He can't take no,
- 37:45Speaker 1: he's saying them gathering here, Carla and Shirley. Listen to me.
- 37:57Speaker 1: You can't tell three men who are sports fans it
- 38:02Speaker 1: ain't fit to be No, mo, damn sports. We just did.
- 38:06Speaker 1: We just told coming up at thirty more minutes after
- 38:10Speaker 1: the hour, we're gonna get an update on Junior's dating
- 38:12Speaker 1: life during the quarantine. We'll be back right after this.
- 38:16Speaker 1: You're listening show, well, Junior, we gotta get an update
- 38:23Speaker 1: on your dating life. You know, we know people, Yeah,
- 38:29Speaker 1: during the quarantine. But he lives in the building. Yeah,
- 38:32Speaker 1: he told us about He told us, Well, you know what,
- 38:37Speaker 1: I didn't wait long enough. You know, I did what,
- 38:40Speaker 1: don't say it. I put the food over there with
- 38:41Speaker 1: a note like a good neighbor, junior, stop stop right there.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I thought she lived over there, since you had been
- 38:49Speaker 1: living now, Uh no, you didn't tell me. She just
- 38:51Speaker 1: moved in last week, though I did. Okay, I had
- 38:55Speaker 1: been in here though two weeks, so I had seen
- 38:57Speaker 1: her and I got to say that information. Yeah, and
- 39:04Speaker 1: I went there that and then show her, dude that
- 39:07Speaker 1: she has all that staying on there with her. He
- 39:09Speaker 1: put the fruit back on my dough with another dough,
- 39:12Speaker 1: said you don't need a good neighbor. I'm here. So
- 39:14Speaker 1: that was the end of that. But I got a
- 39:16Speaker 1: new ideas what I've been doing though. I've been out
- 39:19Speaker 1: here virtual with date. Oh how's that going? Oh? Oh,
- 39:24Speaker 1: I didn't know I was this popular. Oh I'm sad

- 44:12Speaker 1: just man to me with your running, can't I'm trying
- 44:17Speaker 1: to reach a I think the name is dom Dominique. Okay, Dominique,
- 44:23Speaker 1: my name is is mister Johnny and uh I live
- 44:27Speaker 1: all on Street. Are you the person that do a
- 44:30Speaker 1: lot of walking in the neighborhood h here on Street? Yeah,
- 44:36Speaker 1: I don't. I don't think i've met you. I mean,
- 44:37Speaker 1: I know everyone I've in the neighborhood for years. Okay, yeah,
- 44:42Speaker 1: you probably don't know. I don't know if we met
- 44:44Speaker 1: or nothing, but I just know I asked somebody who
- 44:46Speaker 1: you was that was passing by, and they tell me
- 44:48Speaker 1: that your name was Dominique, And I asked, what are
- 44:51Speaker 1: the neighbors that they wouldn't mind if I reached out
- 44:53Speaker 1: to you? And I just wanted to tell you that
- 44:56Speaker 1: I'm you know, I'm having a problem with all walking
- 45:00Speaker 1: that you do. You're passing by and and every time
- 45:03Speaker 1: I look up every or I see you passing by
- 45:06Speaker 1: and passing by. And you know, I know some folk
- 45:09Speaker 1: like to get a little exercise and stuff like that,
- 45:11Speaker 1: hen but it just seemed like you're doing quite a bit,
- 45:14Speaker 1: and especially when you know we're supposed to be practicing
- 45:18Speaker 1: social distance or what, sir. I don't know if I
- 45:21Speaker 1: I don't know, if I goubt I stepped on your
- 45:24Speaker 1: grass running, I don't know what's the problem. Um. But yeah,
- 45:28Speaker 1: I've been jogging for years and you know that's just
- 45:32Speaker 1: my route. So, um, if is there a way you
- 45:35Speaker 1: can change? Is there a way you can change your route?
- 45:38Speaker 1: Why would I do that? Because, like I say, it's
- 45:41Speaker 1: social distancing. You know, some of this stuff is not
- 45:44Speaker 1: on the bottom of people's shoes. You know, you can
- 45:48Speaker 1: you can leave that that's not listening. I'm so sorry,
- 45:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna cut you off, But there's a lot of
- 45:52Speaker 1: on the news right now, that's not accurate. You have
- 45:54Speaker 1: nothing to worry about, especially if we haven't even matched.
- 45:57Speaker 1: You don't see me. I'm just running by. I'm not
- 45:59Speaker 1: seeking outside of your home or anything. When you run by?
- 46:02Speaker 1: How do I know it's not coming out of you?
- 46:04Speaker 1: When you run by? How do I know that? We'll
- 46:08Speaker 1: then talk to your doctor about that. I'm not a doctor.
- 46:10Speaker 1: But I have to exercise. And okay, but and I
- 46:13Speaker 1: understand you got to excite, but can you exercise somewhere else?
- 46:16Speaker 1: I pressure watched my whole sidewalking driveway only because you'll
- 46:21Speaker 1: keep running past here. You got me? What's your door number?
- 46:25Speaker 1: You don't need to know my address, man, you don't
- 46:27Speaker 1: need to know that. Don't don't worry about what your address.
- 46:30Speaker 1: I don't know what house I need to avoid. How
- 46:32Speaker 1: about you just stay awful street? How about that? No,
- 46:35Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do that. This call is absolutely just ridiculous.
- 46:39Speaker 1: You can't ask me. You can't call me right now
- 46:42Speaker 1: under all the pressure everyone's going through, asking me not
- 46:44Speaker 1: to run. You can run, but just run somewhere else.
- 46:47Speaker 1: Don't run a street. This is what I'm asking. I'm
- 46:50Speaker 1: starting to feel really attacked. I'm not okay with this.
- 46:53Speaker 1: I'm not gonna stop running. You're not gonna scare me
- 46:56Speaker 1: off into into Do I need to call to put?
- 46:59Speaker 1: Do I need to call the police for this? I
- 47:02Speaker 1: can call the law. Are you going to call the police?
- 47:04Speaker 1: What are you going to I'm running? You are not
- 47:06Speaker 1: practicing social distancing, that's what they see you. When have I?
- 47:11Speaker 1: When the hell have I seen? Can I practice social distancing?
- 47:13Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Why don't you run out?
- 47:16Speaker 1: Why don't you run into Why don't you run in
- 47:19Speaker 1: the street and not on my sidewalk? How about you,
- 47:21Speaker 1: dude like that you don't own the sidewalk. I want
- 47:24Speaker 1: you to understand that you don't own that. You can't
- 47:25Speaker 1: tell me where to run where not to run if
- 47:27Speaker 1: I'm not on your problem. I pay, I pay taxes
- 47:31Speaker 1: like every other person around. So do I and so
- 47:34Speaker 1: do I. But I'm getting really pissed off right now,
- 47:37Speaker 1: and I'm gonna let you know. I will not stop running.
- 47:38Speaker 1: You will not intimidate me. And if you call me
- 47:41Speaker 1: against and try to scare me off, I'm not trying
- 47:44Speaker 1: to scare you. I'm trying to tell you what you
- 47:46Speaker 1: are doing is jeopardize and other people. You are on
- 47:49Speaker 1: the sidewalk, that is on your shoes, that is in
- 47:53Speaker 1: your chest, and you are blowing all that got your throat.
- 47:57Speaker 1: It's what you're doing. You are idiot, You missing and
- 48:00Speaker 1: missing forms and you don't know what you're talking about
- 48:02Speaker 1: asking for my number. Don't ever call me again or
- 48:05Speaker 1: I'll call the tweets on you for harassment. I don't
- 48:07Speaker 1: know who. Listen. If we can't come to an agreement,
- 48:11Speaker 1: then I'm I'm anna block the sidewalk off. Nobody gonna
- 48:15Speaker 1: be walking on it. Oh okay, Well, then you can
- 48:17Speaker 1: just stal with the city because that's not my problem.
- 48:19Speaker 1: You know, how do you try to blost the whole
- 48:21Speaker 1: damn street and see how that works out for you? What?
- 48:24Speaker 1: Why do you insist on giving this to other people
- 48:27Speaker 1: on your shoes and blowing out your mouth and you
- 48:30Speaker 1: you're so close to people houses. I'm an older man.
- 48:33Speaker 1: I'm an older man. I don't need that. But I
- 48:35Speaker 1: don't even know who the hell you are. I told
- 48:38Speaker 1: you what I called. My name is mister Johnny for
- 48:40Speaker 1: everybody call me mister. Okay, So mister, I'm just gonna
- 48:44Speaker 1: tell you, I'm not gonna stop running if I see anybody,
- 48:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna continue to practice social distancing, but you will
- 48:50Speaker 1: not intimidate me into changing my route. I'm not doing
- 48:53Speaker 1: that well. I'm gonna tell you this. If your black
- 48:55Speaker 1: is on my sidewalk, I'm gonna take my pressure washer
- 48:58Speaker 1: and I'm gonna pressure wash them am shoes. That I
- 49:00Speaker 1: know is nasty. I know the nasty when you come
- 49:03Speaker 1: up and down my sidewalk, I know the ye what
- 49:05Speaker 1: you know what? This is escalated? Now I'm calling my husband.
- 49:08Speaker 1: I'm calling the police. Mister, you're gonna hear from a lawyer.
- 49:12Speaker 1: You're never ever going to have this conversation with me
- 49:13Speaker 1: again because you are a piece of s. Do you
- 49:16Speaker 1: hear me? You're a piece of I'm here, you call me, mister,
- 49:20Speaker 1: And if you bring your husband around here, I'm a

- 50:01Speaker 1: Oh my god, I've already started sweating. I thought I
- 50:06Speaker 1: was gonna have to take this man. Of course, your cousin,
- 50:09Speaker 1: your cousin Daniel, since you run, he runs two three
- 50:12Speaker 1: times a day. She say this COVID nineteen is driving
- 50:15Speaker 1: her crazy. Time. You gotta get us. God, she is listening.
- 50:20Speaker 1: She is messed up to this. I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 50:22Speaker 1: get her back, all right, but you gotta tell me, Dominique,
- 50:25Speaker 1: what is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 50:28Speaker 1: show in the line. Obviously it's the Steve Harvey Monty Show.

- 52:23Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 52:24Speaker 1: is strawberry letter, thank you few subject. This young man
- 52:29Speaker 1: has me weak in the knees. Dear Stephen Shirley. I
- 52:33Speaker 1: am a sixty three year old black woman and I've
- 52:36Speaker 1: never been married and I don't have any children. I
- 52:39Speaker 1: was raised to believe that sex outside of marriage was wrong,
- 52:44Speaker 1: so I didn't have sex until I was thirty two
- 52:46Speaker 1: years old. It was never that exciting to me, so
- 52:50Speaker 1: I did not put much effort into having a great
- 52:52Speaker 1: sex life. I always met and dated great guys, but
- 52:56Speaker 1: they would all tell me that I had no passion
- 52:58Speaker 1: or promise in the bedroom. For that same reason, I
- 53:01Speaker 1: have never had an orgasm until this year. I'm at
- 53:05Speaker 1: a forty two year old man and we hit it off.
- 53:09Speaker 1: I didn't think i'd fall for him, so I never
- 53:11Speaker 1: told him my age or my sexual history. The first
- 53:15Speaker 1: time we were intimate, he didn't care how inexperienced I was.
- 53:19Speaker 1: He did all of the work and I had several
- 53:21Speaker 1: out of body experiences with him. I can honestly say
- 53:26Speaker 1: that I have been missing out on something magical. I
- 53:29Speaker 1: could not get enough of this man. But there's just
- 53:32Speaker 1: one little problem. I'm ashamed of him. He's a thug
- 53:36Speaker 1: and he owns a barbershop, so he is always in
- 53:39Speaker 1: jeans and a hoodie or T shirt. I can usually
- 53:42Speaker 1: hear his music before he pulls up in my driveway.
- 53:45Speaker 1: My neighbors have seen him come and go, and I
- 53:48Speaker 1: know it looks strange that he leaves late at night.
- 53:51Speaker 1: I can't let any of my friends or family know
- 53:53Speaker 1: about him. He says he is not seeing anyone else
- 53:56Speaker 1: and that I'm special to him. I may be hypnotized
- 53:59Speaker 1: by the sex, but I really enjoy talking to him too.
- 54:03Speaker 1: He's got his head unstraight and he takes care of
- 54:05Speaker 1: his business. Is this man out of my league and
- 54:08Speaker 1: I need to leave him where I found him? Or
- 54:11Speaker 1: is it okay to have a secret maintenance man? I
- 54:14Speaker 1: have a lot of catching up to do. Yes, you do.
- 54:19Speaker 1: First of all, why do you think you have to
- 54:23Speaker 1: keep him a secret. I mean, you are sixty three
- 54:26Speaker 1: years old. That means you are good and grown. So
- 54:29Speaker 1: what you do is your business. I mean you don't
- 54:33Speaker 1: have to explain it to anyone. You don't have any kids.
- 54:38Speaker 1: I'm amazed that your life is not your own right now.
- 54:42Speaker 1: And what I mean by that is you're letting all
- 54:44Speaker 1: these other people what they think and say, run you
- 54:48Speaker 1: because you don't want them to meet him. He's a
- 54:52Speaker 1: secret to you and all of that. I mean, you
- 54:54Speaker 1: want to keep him a secret. You said you're ashamed
- 54:57Speaker 1: of him. Why why are you ashamed of him because
- 54:59Speaker 1: the age difference? Or because you think he's a thug?
- 55:03Speaker 1: You call him a thug. Why do you call him
- 55:05Speaker 1: a thug because he wears jeans and a hoodie? I
- 55:08Speaker 1: don't understand. Then you say near the end of the
- 55:12Speaker 1: letter that he has his head unstraight. You like talking
- 55:15Speaker 1: to him, he takes care of business. So which is it?
- 55:19Speaker 1: Is he a thug or does he have his head
- 55:20Speaker 1: unstraight and take care of business and you like talking
- 55:23Speaker 1: to him? You know, what do you want for yourself?
- 55:27Speaker 1: I think you just need to really sit down and
- 55:30Speaker 1: make up your mind at sixty three so you can
- 55:33Speaker 1: go ahead and live your life. You have to have
- 55:36Speaker 1: a say in your own life. And how you know,
- 55:39Speaker 1: without all these other people in your business, you've already
- 55:42Speaker 1: missed out on a lot. Like you said at the
- 55:44Speaker 1: end of your letter, you have a lot of catching
- 55:46Speaker 1: up to do. Yes, you do a whole lot. So
- 55:49Speaker 1: let's start now, Steve, Well, I know what's really going
- 55:57Speaker 1: on him. Sixty three year old black woman, never been married,
- 56:03Speaker 1: ain't got no kids, he was raised right Belee. The
- 56:08Speaker 1: sex outside the marriage was wrong. Everybody and heard that
- 56:11Speaker 1: one supposed to be a sin. It is called for anication.
- 56:14Speaker 1: But we already know that. That's everybody seeing. So I
- 56:19Speaker 1: ain't have sex tours thirty two. What never that exciting
- 56:23Speaker 1: to me? I ain't put a lot of effort into it.
- 56:27Speaker 1: I just pretty much just laid over there, you know,
- 56:30Speaker 1: and then, uh, you have some great guys, but day oh, everybody,
- 56:35Speaker 1: all of them told you you ain't got no passion
- 56:38Speaker 1: because you were just laying there. Oh ma'am, see mean
- 56:42Speaker 1: you don't have passion. You need something, noises something. You
- 56:46Speaker 1: got to reach over and spank something, something, got to
- 56:50Speaker 1: try something, got to talk back. I got to just
- 56:55Speaker 1: holler out something. We need something. You just over there
- 57:00Speaker 1: just taking breath deeper, like when is you gonna be too?
- 57:05Speaker 1: You know, I mean we need something. You know, you know,
- 57:11Speaker 1: you're sixty three years old. You could have just you know,

- 58:15Speaker 1: he didn't care high experienced I was. He did all
- 58:18Speaker 1: the work, and I had several out of body experiences
- 58:22Speaker 1: with him. This is what this whole damn that about.

- 59:00Speaker 1: up today's druery letter. Carlin still laughing. The sixty young

- 59:08Speaker 1: black lady, ain't never been mad, had no kids, didn't
- 59:11Speaker 1: have sex to she was thirty two. Wasn't that exciting?
- 59:14Speaker 1: She didn't put a lot of effort into it. Everybody

- 59:19Speaker 1: laying that she just you ain't got no passional promise
- 59:23Speaker 1: in the bedroom. I mean like you when they tell

- 59:27Speaker 1: like you ain't even trying to put forth no effort.
- 59:30Speaker 1: I've told you several old names. You could have been
- 59:32Speaker 1: hauling out. Try something, reach round there, frank him a
- 59:35Speaker 1: little bit, give him some type of cadgement, you know,
- 59:39Speaker 1: bite him on his shoulder, give him something, you know,
- 59:43Speaker 1: dig your nails in the center of his back. You
- 59:46Speaker 1: don't call out names. And Eric Kiffer's a wrong name
- 59:51Speaker 1: that wraps you know, you know, and just something to
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: give a man some type of inkling that you that
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: you there didn't you know, but the first time we
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: was intimate, you met this forty to your man, and uh,
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: first time we was intimate, you never told him your
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: age or your sexual history. He didn't care how inexperienced
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: out of it. He did all the work, and I
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: had several out of body experiences. That's what this whole
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: damn letter about. I don't know what you wrote for,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: but I know what this letter about is them out
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: of body experiencing. See he did all the work. He
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: You was delaying that, doing your usual nothing. But homeboy
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: was in there, turning, re angling, pulling. Yeah, come on
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: coming in hard left. I'm talking about just go low
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: and then cut make a turn upward. He was in there,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: and you had several out of body experiences. But there's
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: just one little problem. I'm ashamed of him. He's a
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: thug and he owns a barbershop, so he always in jeans,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: a hoodie or a T shirt. What you can This
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: ain't about you going nowhere. This about he come over.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: The neighbors have seen him come and go, and I
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: know a little strange. He leaves late at night. He
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: get that late. You know what this is. But see,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: you know what you kept doing. You're trying to talk
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: yourself out of this too. Quit talking yourself out of
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: every damn thing. You have had several out of body experiences,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: that's what this is. This ain't your soul, mate, This
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: is just somebody who is giving you some moments before

- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Murdle listened to him. You ain't got to be proud
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: of him. He a thug, He owned a barber shop.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: He pull up in a dry where your neighbors have
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: seen you come and go. It looks strange. He leave
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: it now. I can't let any of your friends know
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: about him. Family. Why he said he ain't seeing anyone
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: else and I'm special to him. That's not true. How
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: he ain't seeing nobody else. Ain't no man forty some
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: years old ain't seeing nor all them out of body
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: experiences you have it? How you think he learned how
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: to do it? That ain't at the house by yourself practicing.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I can tell you that right now, when you're passing
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: out out of body experiences, it's because you know how
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: to bring everybody. I say, body, you didn't roll some
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: eyes in the back of the head and open your
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: eyes and saw they went Okay, that's the move, checkmate.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Let me mark that down. That's how you get experienced.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: I may be hypnotized by the sex you think you
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: ask any woman as a man giving them an out
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: of body experience, and they asked them what they hypnotized.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Girl in a damn trance, Children of the Coin, The

- 1:13:21Speaker 1: is going through his COVID nineteen getting over it. Um.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: But he said that now his wife has it. Um

- 1:13:32Speaker 1: the basement, quarantining himself, still doing his show every day
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: through everything. He said that now she has it. His
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: wife's name is Christina. She's now positive. It just breaks
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: my heart, he says, it's the one thing I was

- 1:14:09Speaker 1: He's working. Yeah. So family, Yeah, Chris chromo christ Yeah yeah. Yeah. Well.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: On another note, the stimulus checks everyone seems to be
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: waiting for could be delayed by a few days because
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: the Treasury Department has ordered that Donald Trump's name be
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: printed on them. That's according to senior IRS officials. That
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: means that seventy million Americans who receive paper checks from
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: the IRS, will see the name President Donald Trump on
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: Trump on the left side. This is a first. Now,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: all right, the president's name has never appeared on a
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: payment from the IRS. Before we'll have more of a

- 1:15:06Speaker 1: This one is from Darryl in East Texas. He says,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: my girlfriend and I have known each other since we
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: were seven years old. We started dating, and we started
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: over to say that again, I missed it. My girlfriend
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: and I have known each other since we were seven
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: years old. We started dating in the tenth grade and
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: we haven't spent a moment apart since then. We are
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: in our mid twenties now, and I want to marry her.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: She said we should not get married right away, and
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: she suggested we separate for a while to date other
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: people before we decide on marriage. Someone is in her
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: head and making her think there may be something better
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: out there for her. I don't want to lose her.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: What should I do. Well, you're right, brother, but something
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: is going on. It might not be nobody in her head.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: She could be in her own head. She hasn't experienced
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: much a life, and a lot of times, you know
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: what is graham and being able to see all these
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: highlights of other people's lives. Sometimes it's it's best to
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: go out there to make sure that you can experience
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: life as you know it. And let me explain something
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: to your young brother. If you lose her, it wasn't
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: meant to be. See what you think is meant to be.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: If the two of you don't think it's meant to be,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: it ain't gonna be. And I was waiting on you
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: to say you want to hold off and go explore,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: but she wants to explore. Hey, man, listen to me.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: If if she gets married and does not scratch that itch,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: you're going to have a problem. So let her go.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: And I know it's hard, man, I know it's hard
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: to let her go. And you've been with hers since
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: you seven, but that don't count. Dog. Take all that
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: we were together at seven sixteen. Yeah, you know, y'all
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: start dating in high school, y'all in your twins, and
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: you've never been apart. But she needs a chance to
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: grow and develop, and you have to allow her that.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: If you love her, let her grow and develop. It
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: doesn't mean that you know she'll fall in love with somebody.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: But okay, in the letter, did he say she wants
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: to start dating other people? Yeah, then bro, let me

- 1:17:20Speaker 1: go start dating other people too. Yeah, And it's time
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: for both of you to go experience that. Because if
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: a woman says that she wants to start dating other people, bro,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: that ain't a cage though that you can close that
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: when he started around that that but that that burg
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: gonna fly out that cage. Bro, y'all going to split

- 1:18:12Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's been a good Thursday. Yeah,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: we have fun fun yeah yeah, or Junior had some
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: kind of day. Yeah, y trauma. I think the silence

- 1:18:53Speaker 1: her freak name. No kiwis you know? Yeah on it?
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Whoa so much today? Yeah? And y'all have a mask?
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: It's so hard to get a mask? Yeah, yeah, got
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I wore one on the plane today when I when
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I flew in, what's wrong? Get your hands on and
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: and yeah, and they actually are you have to wear
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: them for safety, of course, but they're kind of hard
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: to wear too. Man, this was so funny. What I'm
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: at the airport right, this is the true story. And
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: the bag handlers was talking and I was kind of
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: close to him, right, and the dude say, m man
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: at steak and the dude say what he said, Man,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: you don't smell that? And the dude say no, oh man,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: I got on the mask. He said, Man, this stink
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: he's a dog. Take your mask off. He pulled his
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: mask down. He said, I don't smell it no more.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: He dog. He talk. These two dudes was talking. This
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: dude took off running. He said, that's you. Man. Dude,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: say holder, Man, i'd be back. I'm gonna go ahead,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: brush my teeth. What just just happened at the airport
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: to day. I'm to tell y'all that earlier, this really happened. Man.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: The two bag hellos, the two brothers was talking. He's
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: a man. I smell something, man, he said, you smell that.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: He's a man. I don't smell nothing. Man, brush a
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: man something smell. He's gonna take your mask off. He
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: took his mask off. He say, I don't smell it.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: He said, man, that's called that's you. That's below the
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: guns and blew it into it. He says, man, I
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: got to go ahead and brush my teeth and pray. No, really, man,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: I promise your true story that just happened today. I'm
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: gonna tell y'all that I'll stand over the balls. I
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: almo ran with them two dudes. Oh man, okay, all right,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: see hey, let me say this to everybody. Um, I
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: understand that these are difficult times. I do understand it,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: and I understand that it's challenging. I understand the quarantine
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: is real. I understand that it's days when it's just
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: not fun. But man, can I tell you something, though,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: If you would just fix your focus, if you could
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: just fix your focus, man, if you could just take
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: your focus and put it on the good and the
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: part to be grateful for the fact that if you
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: haven't been affected, that's something to be grateful for. If
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: you've been affected and you survived it, that's something to
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: be grateful for. If your children are safe, that's something
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: to be grateful for. Man. I know, man, people are
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: complaining about the size of their apartments and everything, and
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: y'all talking about this, but y'all got yards and all
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: this here. Hey, it's uncomfortable for everybody. I don't care
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: if you got a yard, I don't care if you
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: ain't got no balcony, I don't care. It's uncomfortable because
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: we are in a new norm, and for a period
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: of time, this is going to be the norm. So
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: you've got to fix your focus. You got to, y'all.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: It's up to you. You can fix your focus if
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: you change your attitude about this whole thing. You would
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: be amazed that is some good in this for you.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: There is an opportunity in this downtime for you to
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: make some improvements. I got you might not be working.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: I got that. I got you worried about how you're
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: gonna pay for this and how you're gonna pay for that.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: But let me tell you something about wary that I've learned.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: Almost worried myself right on in the high blood pressure.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Let me tell you something I learned about worry. Wary
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: changes absolutely nothing. And I learned the spiritual reason for
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: my worry was I was projecting and looking off into
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: a future of which I had no business or control over.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: But as I peered into the future, I saw just
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: me there alone. I didn't see the God I served.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: I didn't see the God that had brought me through
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: every other crisis I had ever been in in my life.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: I didn't feel to that. I didn't put that into
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: the equation. I just saw me and my shortcomings in
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: my inadequacies in the future, and I began to worry
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: and fret about it, become anxious. Over the moment I
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: stopped worrying about the future the moment I started living
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: in the presence and talking to this God I served,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: and then when I did look into the future, I
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: incorporated into the equation that he'll be there also. It
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: chilled me right all night. I invite you to do
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: some say I invite you to do, to say, put
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: some faith on it. Y'all, stop worring. God gonna take
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: care of you. He always has. Ain't that the truth?
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks. Well, I love to say
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: you have a great weekend, but it's almost here, and
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: it won't be a weekend to just be a few
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: more days. So let's just have some good more days off.
