- 1:44Speaker 6: the mouth out, turn the water the monk.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Come come out your.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:04Speaker 7: Good morning everybody, y all listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 7: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 7: a radio show. Man, old Man, Oh Man symbolizes just
- 2:15Speaker 7: one thing to me. Man, It's just a constant remind
- 2:18Speaker 7: of exactly how good God has been to me over
- 2:20Speaker 7: the years. And I'm thanking for it too, because I
- 2:23Speaker 7: realize every day that I wake up that I would
- 2:26Speaker 7: be nothing without Him. That everything I am, that's any
- 2:30Speaker 7: good in me, I owe to him.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Now. Have I made some mistakes along the way?
- 2:34Speaker 7: Yep, bunches, bunches and bunches. And will I continue to
- 2:40Speaker 7: make mistakes along the way yep? Not as many, hopefully
- 2:46Speaker 7: as I have in the past, because a lot of
- 2:49Speaker 7: stuff I know better now. But you're still going to
- 2:52Speaker 7: make mistakes now, you know, hopefully I've limited the amount
- 2:58Speaker 7: of intentional in my life. I've wiped quite a few
- 3:03Speaker 7: of those out. But from time to time, because we're human,
- 3:07Speaker 7: we're going to make a mistake every now and then.
- 3:09Speaker 7: The trick, what it is, y'all, is not to let
- 3:12Speaker 7: the devil deceive you into thinking that once you make
- 3:15Speaker 7: that mistake that that's it.
- 3:16Speaker 2: You can't do it.
- 3:17Speaker 7: You're falling off the wagon. You can't reboard it. That's
- 3:22Speaker 7: the biggest trick that he uses. He makes you think
- 3:25Speaker 7: that if you keep stumbling, that you can't run the race.
- 3:32Speaker 7: It kind of reminds me of a marathon runner. From
- 3:36Speaker 7: time to time I watch them on TV, and you'll
- 3:39Speaker 7: see some people who finish the race, you know, in
- 3:45Speaker 7: a nice pace. You see people finish the race sprinting
- 3:50Speaker 7: towards the finished line. But every now and then you'll
- 3:53Speaker 7: watch a marathon and you'll see a runner and the
- 3:57Speaker 7: runner is in really, really bad shape.
- 4:02Speaker 2: The key is they finish the race.
- 4:06Speaker 7: See, you don't get disqualified in the marathon because you stumble.
- 4:13Speaker 2: You don't. They don't.
- 4:14Speaker 7: They don't take your opportunity to finish the race because
- 4:19Speaker 7: you keep falling.
- 4:21Speaker 2: That's not the key. The key is finishing.
- 4:25Speaker 7: And a lot of times what the devil does is
- 4:27Speaker 7: he makes you think that because you keep stumbling, because
- 4:31Speaker 7: you're swaying from side to side, that you know you
- 4:35Speaker 7: out the race. Well that's not the case. And see
- 4:39Speaker 7: and then this thing called life. Let me help you
- 4:41Speaker 7: understand something. Everybody falls, Nobody sprints to the tape in
- 4:45Speaker 7: this one. Nobody just runs free and clear that as
- 4:49Speaker 7: some people running faster than you, and all like this,
- 4:52Speaker 7: and some people gonna get to the end before you
- 4:55Speaker 7: let them go ahead. And when the end come, the
- 4:57Speaker 7: end come. I ain't in the rust. You get to
- 4:58Speaker 7: the end.
- 5:00Speaker 2: But in this race, though, when you're stumbling and you're falling,
- 5:03Speaker 2: it's a part of it. No one gets through this.
- 5:07Speaker 7: Race without stumbling and falling, swaying from side to side.
- 5:10Speaker 7: So don't let the enemy to see you and the
- 5:14Speaker 7: thinking that it's over. I try to be encouraging to
- 5:19Speaker 7: people because I don't want people to get stuck on
- 5:22Speaker 7: this thing, you know. And my walk is very different
- 5:25Speaker 7: from a lot of people's walks. And then I know
- 5:27Speaker 7: a lot of people who walking in faith the way
- 5:30Speaker 7: I'm walking in faith. But my thing in the morning
- 5:33Speaker 7: is just to remind those that is not a perfect
- 5:36Speaker 7: walk man, that it's not something that's set up where
- 5:40Speaker 7: you're gonna be skipping through life scott free without any pitfalls.
- 5:45Speaker 7: You know, I keep saying it over and over and
- 5:47Speaker 7: over again because, like I said, when I was in DC,
- 5:51Speaker 7: my boy Hondo said this to me and it just
- 5:53Speaker 7: kind of stuck with me that the road to construct,
- 5:56Speaker 7: the road to success is always under construction. You have
- 6:00Speaker 7: to figure and count on the setbacks and the pitfalls.
- 6:04Speaker 7: But it's those people that are that that are that
- 6:08Speaker 7: fight through will be the victors in the end. You
- 6:11Speaker 7: cannot give up, man, Stop going somewhere and sitting down
- 6:16Speaker 7: every time something goes down. It's going to go down.
- 6:20Speaker 7: It's a part of it. It's going to happen. It's
- 6:23Speaker 7: going to occur that are going to be setbacks. If
- 6:27Speaker 7: you go and sit down every time there's a setback,
- 6:31Speaker 7: that's not how this works. It is designed that way.
- 6:35Speaker 7: If success were easy, everybody would be successful.
- 6:41Speaker 2: But success is just reserved for those who are willing
- 6:44Speaker 2: to fight through.
- 6:45Speaker 7: Who refuse to settle for mediocrity, who wants something more. Now,
- 6:51Speaker 7: don't get me wrong. Success is defined by each individual.
- 6:56Speaker 7: So what I may consider to be successful. You may
- 6:58Speaker 7: not consider that. You know what Bill Gates considered successful.
- 7:03Speaker 7: I might not consider what Michael Jordan considered successful. I
- 7:07Speaker 7: might not consider what you consider successful. Your boss might
- 7:11Speaker 7: not consider. You have to define what that is for yourself.
- 7:15Speaker 7: It may not be monetary at all. You know, your
- 7:19Speaker 7: level of success could be tied up in community service.
- 7:22Speaker 7: It could be tied up in family. It could be
- 7:25Speaker 7: tied up.
- 7:26Speaker 4: In the church.
- 7:27Speaker 7: Your level of success could be tied up into boys clubs.
- 7:30Speaker 7: It could be any number of things. Whatever your level
- 7:34Speaker 7: of success is, you have to determine what that is
- 7:38Speaker 7: you and the best way to determine that is to
- 7:41Speaker 7: get in touch with your maker, who created you, to
- 7:45Speaker 7: find out what your mission and your purpose is so
- 7:49Speaker 7: he can put you on track. I just had this
- 7:52Speaker 7: conversation with my son, and we were talking about getting
- 7:56Speaker 7: on the path that God has set up for you.
- 8:00Speaker 7: Many times we find ourselves fighting through life because of
- 8:03Speaker 7: so much uncertainty, because we have no idea where we're headed.
- 8:09Speaker 2: It's like one of my.
- 8:13Speaker 7: Sayings that I have at my mentoring camp for boys
- 8:16Speaker 7: is is that a boy without a male role model
- 8:21Speaker 7: is like an explorer without a map. See if you
- 8:26Speaker 7: don't have a map laid out in front of you
- 8:30Speaker 7: of where you're going when you wake up every day,
- 8:34Speaker 7: that pretty much explains the feeling of confusion, the laxadaisical attitude,
- 8:41Speaker 7: the lack of purpose, to not understanding your mission because
- 8:48Speaker 7: you don't have not gotten in touch with your creator
- 8:51Speaker 7: to find out exactly what your path in life is.
- 8:56Speaker 7: What are you supposed to be doing? The moment you
- 8:58Speaker 7: can identify that is the moment that you get started
- 9:03Speaker 7: waking up with purpose, with the sense of direction. When
- 9:07Speaker 7: you kill the sense of I don't know what's next
- 9:10Speaker 7: or what to do. Now, there's going to be some
- 9:12Speaker 7: confusing moments no matter what happened, it's going to be
- 9:14Speaker 7: some uncertainty, but at least you'll know where you're going.
- 9:18Speaker 7: So if you're tied a waking up feeling loss, abandon confuse,
- 9:23Speaker 7: don't know what to do, don't know what you're supposed
- 9:26Speaker 7: to be doing, refer back to your makeup. Because when
- 9:31Speaker 7: He created you, he had a plan for you. When
- 9:35Speaker 7: he created you, he.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Had a path for you.
- 9:38Speaker 7: Now we've made some decisions to get off of both
- 9:40Speaker 7: of those, the mission and the path. But God can
- 9:44Speaker 7: get you right back on track. Do that today, ask
- 9:49Speaker 7: him what you're supposed to be doing, and listen. God
- 9:53Speaker 7: has all the answers if you form the relationship. Okaytening show,
- 10:02Speaker 7: ladies and gentlemen, it's time again.
- 10:04Speaker 2: It's time to be grateful.
- 10:06Speaker 7: It's time to wake up, give honor, and thanks to
- 10:09Speaker 7: the Almighty for letting you see another day.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Man, oh man, oh man, God is good.
- 10:15Speaker 1: You know something, y'all.
- 10:20Speaker 7: Twenty twenty four is starting off rather well for me,
- 10:24Speaker 7: and I just want you to know why, because.
- 10:28Speaker 2: You know what I've learned so much. It is every
- 10:32Speaker 2: year I.
- 10:33Speaker 7: Live, I learn more and more and more and more.
- 10:37Speaker 7: And I want all y'all to put this in your head.
- 10:41Speaker 7: What God has for you. There is not a living
- 10:47Speaker 7: soul that can stop that from happening. And man, what
- 10:51Speaker 7: God made you to be. You are who you are
- 10:55Speaker 7: because God willed it so you in good hands. If
- 11:00Speaker 7: you are a person who believes in God, you are
- 11:03Speaker 7: in good hands. And don't worry about what they out
- 11:07Speaker 7: there saying because they have nothing else to do.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Man, oh man, oh man, I ain't got nothing else
- 11:15Speaker 2: to do. See Harby morning to show y'all. Charity Strawberry calling.
- 11:18Speaker 7: For Reil, Mississippi, Monica Junior government name is kill Spas
- 11:24Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, legend that he is nephew Tommy Junior.
- 11:28Speaker 2: It's a new year. What's on your mind?
- 11:31Speaker 8: You know?
- 11:31Speaker 2: Uh?
- 11:31Speaker 5: Man?
- 11:32Speaker 6: I feel for some people, man, because nine days in
- 11:34Speaker 6: they not already quit on their dream.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Man.
- 11:36Speaker 6: Nine days in, friend of mine and called up said, man,
- 11:40Speaker 6: I can't do it.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I said, what's wrong? Man?
- 11:41Speaker 6: He said, Man, I ain't gonna be able to get
- 11:42Speaker 6: to this CDL license. So now he didn't quit on
- 11:45Speaker 6: the CDL dream. See, all he had to do was
- 11:49Speaker 6: you go down to school, go get his license, and
- 11:51Speaker 6: he can go drive trucks.
- 11:53Speaker 2: But I found out he ain't got no driving license. Damn,
- 11:55Speaker 2: he had to give it up. He ain't got no
- 11:57Speaker 2: reving license.
- 11:59Speaker 7: What the steps to success? I think that's what everybody
- 12:03Speaker 7: has to understand. There's steps to success, and a lot
- 12:07Speaker 7: of the steps you're going to take is going to
- 12:09Speaker 7: be difficult, you know what, man. I was listening to
- 12:13Speaker 7: a guy early early this morning on one of the
- 12:15Speaker 7: motivational feeds, and he says that whenever he makes a
- 12:21Speaker 7: plan to do something great with his wife or anybody
- 12:25Speaker 7: can do something do something great.
- 12:28Speaker 2: He expects an attack.
- 12:31Speaker 7: To come, because he says, whenever you in agreement with
- 12:36Speaker 7: your spouse or your mate, or you trying to accomplish
- 12:40Speaker 7: something wonderful in your life, expect an attack to come
- 12:44Speaker 7: because the opposition don't want to see it happen for you.
- 12:48Speaker 2: But what throws people off is we make.
- 12:50Speaker 7: These New Year's resolutions, we make these claims, and then
- 12:54Speaker 7: when the attack comes, we think that's the final blow. No,
- 12:58Speaker 7: it comes with the process of becoming successful. That the
- 13:03Speaker 7: attack may come in the form of a person that
- 13:05Speaker 7: you trusted or loved, but if it also can just
- 13:08Speaker 7: come in the form of a test. Okay, Like your
- 13:11Speaker 7: boy Junior, he wanted to get his CDL license, but.
- 13:14Speaker 2: He gave up. But he got he gotta go get
- 13:17Speaker 2: a regular license first. Yeah, because you can't even give.
- 13:20Speaker 7: It a truck to drive without the damn regular license.
- 13:24Speaker 7: So all he gotta do is go get the license.
- 13:26Speaker 2: But he canna let that stop it? Man, Come on,
- 13:30Speaker 2: come on, come.
- 13:30Speaker 1: On, all right, we can do better than this. Don't
- 13:33Speaker 1: give up. Don't give up. That is the message coming up.
- 13:36Speaker 1: At thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll hear from
- 13:39Speaker 1: the nephews. He runs that prank back right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 9: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 13:46Speaker 1: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:48Speaker 1: prank back. What you got for his nep.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Sureley, I got. Can you hear me now? Can you
- 13:55Speaker 2: hear me now? All right?
- 13:59Speaker 10: Yeah, doing a little sign language down at the church.
- 14:03Speaker 10: Can you hear me now? Cat dog? If you would hello,
- 14:08Speaker 10: I'm trying to speak to sister Lauren. Please be my
- 14:12Speaker 10: sister Lauren. This is Brother Davids from the church. I
- 14:14Speaker 10: don't know if you know me. You might know me
- 14:16Speaker 10: when you see me, but I don't know if you
- 14:17Speaker 10: just know me because we don't really interact that much
- 14:20Speaker 10: at the church. But I wanted to give you a call.
- 14:22Speaker 10: We got a bit of a problem going on. Okay, okay,
- 14:25Speaker 10: you got you get Do you have a minute to talk?
- 14:29Speaker 2: All right?
- 14:29Speaker 11: Now?
- 14:30Speaker 10: How long have you been doing the sign you in
- 14:33Speaker 10: the you know you in the ministry when you do
- 14:35Speaker 10: the sign language for the church, and you know I
- 14:38Speaker 10: noticed you up there at least two Sundays out of
- 14:41Speaker 10: a out of the month.
- 14:43Speaker 2: You've been doing it quite a while, am I right?
- 14:45Speaker 12: So yes, I've been doing it for over ten years.
- 14:48Speaker 12: But I'm a little to confuse as to why they're
- 14:52Speaker 12: calling about this time. I'm just a little to confuse.
- 14:55Speaker 12: I don't know who you are. You say that. If
- 14:57Speaker 12: I see your face, I may know you, But I
- 15:00Speaker 12: what did you have to do with anything?
- 15:01Speaker 4: That is?
- 15:01Speaker 12: How long I have been doing SI language? I know
- 15:05Speaker 12: I've been doing it for years? So how may I
- 15:07Speaker 12: help you with this? Do you want?
- 15:09Speaker 13: Okay?
- 15:10Speaker 2: No, no, I'm not trying to learn any sign language.
- 15:13Speaker 11: Do you do?
- 15:13Speaker 2: You know miss everybody call him MSS murdered. Do you
- 15:16Speaker 2: know Miss Murdle?
- 15:17Speaker 12: Oh yeah, I sure do.
- 15:18Speaker 2: M okay, so Miss murder.
- 15:21Speaker 10: That's that's that's that's that's one of my aunties, right there,
- 15:24Speaker 10: MSS murderers.
- 15:26Speaker 12: Okay, And she gave me my number to call me.
- 15:29Speaker 12: I'm what what do you mean for me?
- 15:32Speaker 4: Did she get?
- 15:33Speaker 5: No?
- 15:33Speaker 2: No, That's what I'm getting at. So, so you know,
- 15:36Speaker 2: you know my you know, my honest is death. You
- 15:37Speaker 2: know she's hearing it. Pay you know that?
- 15:39Speaker 4: Right?
- 15:39Speaker 5: Okay?
- 15:40Speaker 13: Yeah, okay.
- 15:41Speaker 2: So here's a problem.
- 15:44Speaker 10: I ain't murderer is telling us that you're not doing
- 15:47Speaker 10: the sign language right, doing the service, and like you're
- 15:51Speaker 10: missing some things in the scripture.
- 15:53Speaker 13: Or something, you know that's incorrect. I've been doing this
- 15:58Speaker 13: for a very long time and I'm know what I'm doing.
- 16:01Speaker 12: So how you so she told you for me to.
- 16:04Speaker 13: Tell me that I'm not doing this siline directly, let
- 16:08Speaker 13: me say, let me.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Say this to you.
- 16:10Speaker 10: I don't want us to get off on the wrong
- 16:11Speaker 10: for Let me just say this to you. Once my
- 16:13Speaker 10: once my murder told us what was going on.
- 16:16Speaker 11: You know.
- 16:16Speaker 10: We then went to one of the deacons and asked him,
- 16:19Speaker 10: you know, is that way we can uh have a meeting,
- 16:22Speaker 10: you know, with with with Sister Lawrence so we can
- 16:24Speaker 10: try to get this taken care of and talk about it.
- 16:26Speaker 10: He said, well, won't you just won't you just call
- 16:29Speaker 10: and y'all can just work it out. And and that's
- 16:31Speaker 10: how I'm calling you now. I hope you I don't
- 16:34Speaker 10: know if you're at work or whatever. I apologize, but
- 16:36Speaker 10: I'm just trying to get to the bottom up. Now,
- 16:38Speaker 10: let me go and say this. If my ain't murders
- 16:40Speaker 10: say that you ain't signing right, then MIAINTI ain't lying.
- 16:45Speaker 10: That means your excuse me, that means you ain't signing right.
- 16:49Speaker 12: Really, so the pastor couldn't come to me. But he
- 16:53Speaker 12: but you figured you would just call me and tell
- 16:56Speaker 12: me that your auntie says that I'm doing incorrectly. That
- 16:59Speaker 12: doesn't make to me.
- 17:00Speaker 5: How does she tell you that?
- 17:01Speaker 12: Did she sign it to you?
- 17:03Speaker 10: She signed language to her daughter. Listen, you ain't got
- 17:06Speaker 10: to worry about who she's signing too. What you need
- 17:08Speaker 10: to worry about is getting your getting your stuff together
- 17:12Speaker 10: all right, and learning how to do this the correct
- 17:14Speaker 10: way so that my ainte can get you know, MIAINTI
- 17:17Speaker 10: needs to be getting the word like everybody else getting
- 17:19Speaker 10: the word, but.
- 17:19Speaker 2: She not getting it because you the word is getting
- 17:22Speaker 2: lost in your hands.
- 17:24Speaker 12: All I'm hearing is your voice is getting very loud
- 17:27Speaker 12: and you need to match my tone.
- 17:28Speaker 5: Young man.
- 17:29Speaker 12: Okay, let's start with that. What I means that match
- 17:35Speaker 12: my tone because you're getting very loud and I can't
- 17:39Speaker 12: hear through all of that. All right, Okay, Okay, I
- 17:43Speaker 12: say the situation you called my phone correct. You have
- 17:47Speaker 12: a problem that you're discusting with me, but you're getting
- 17:50Speaker 12: more angry than anything else. How am I going to
- 17:52Speaker 12: resolve this problem? I am trying to be as close.
- 17:55Speaker 10: The way you resolved this problem is carryos back to
- 17:58Speaker 10: science school so you can learn what you need to
- 18:00Speaker 10: so my anti can get the word.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Mia ain't he can't get the gospel because you messing
- 18:04Speaker 2: it up.
- 18:05Speaker 12: God anointed me to do style language at that church,
- 18:09Speaker 12: and I've been doing it for a long time and.
- 18:11Speaker 13: I will continue to do so.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Don't call my phone.
- 18:14Speaker 12: Telling me that I'm not doing something right?
- 18:16Speaker 4: You know?
- 18:17Speaker 2: But do God know that you not doing it right?
- 18:20Speaker 2: Do God know that? Does God know that my ain't
- 18:23Speaker 2: myrtle not getting the word because of you?
- 18:26Speaker 5: Name?
- 18:26Speaker 13: Young man?
- 18:28Speaker 12: Jesus, please give me the strength to continue on with
- 18:30Speaker 12: this conversation.
- 18:32Speaker 13: But you know what, man, I'm gonna be right back.
- 18:35Speaker 13: Let me tell you something.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Don't you ever call my.
- 18:38Speaker 12: Mother freaking phone telling about I ain't doing something.
- 18:42Speaker 5: Man?
- 18:42Speaker 12: If I see you in this tree, this can't I have.
- 18:44Speaker 12: It's gonna go outside your God? Damn, Pa, did I
- 18:47Speaker 12: miss myself? Claire?
- 18:49Speaker 2: I cannot believe you talking to me like this.
- 18:51Speaker 12: Oh now you want to be calm? Now you're calm?
- 18:53Speaker 12: Now you mask my tone?
- 18:55Speaker 5: I engaged.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I can't believe you just got through talking to me
- 18:58Speaker 2: like that.
- 18:59Speaker 12: Are we done here?
- 19:00Speaker 10: So you think it's cool for you to tell the
- 19:03Speaker 10: Lord I'll be right back. Thank you, Lord. I needed
- 19:06Speaker 10: a moment you.
- 19:08Speaker 2: We've been on the phone in this world.
- 19:09Speaker 12: You've been sewing at me. I told you to match
- 19:11Speaker 12: my tone. Match my tone.
- 19:15Speaker 2: I am matching your tone.
- 19:17Speaker 4: No, can I say? Can I?
- 19:19Speaker 2: Can I give you something else in this tone?
- 19:21Speaker 4: Do you mind?
- 19:22Speaker 2: If I say something in this tone?
- 19:24Speaker 12: You're gonna hear a click and the dog real quick,
- 19:26Speaker 12: go ahead.
- 19:27Speaker 10: I just want to tell you in this tone that
- 19:30Speaker 10: your friend Vonda Taylor got me to prank.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Phone call you.
- 19:34Speaker 10: I am nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 19:37Speaker 10: In your tone, have mercy.
- 19:43Speaker 13: Bonda, Bonda Taylor, Bonda Taylor, tell me put this on
- 19:49Speaker 13: the radio, on the radio in Jesus name, Amen Radio.
- 19:58Speaker 12: I'm not playing in the game. I think it's funny, but.
- 20:01Speaker 8: This is my job here.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Listen, everything is fine.
- 20:06Speaker 12: You haven't known me. I have to tell Jesus give
- 20:08Speaker 12: me a minute, because you was about to pressure up.
- 20:11Speaker 13: Lord, have mercy.
- 20:12Speaker 12: I don't even want to hear this, but I will
- 20:14Speaker 12: be calling Bonda because I have some merch. Oh Lord, Lord,
- 20:18Speaker 12: Lord father, please forgive me.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Look, you gotta you gotta do this for me. In
- 20:23Speaker 2: my tone, in my tone.
- 20:25Speaker 10: Tell me in your tone, what is the baddest radio
- 20:28Speaker 10: show in the land.
- 20:29Speaker 2: In your tone?
- 20:31Speaker 12: Steven Show.
- 20:35Speaker 13: In my tone, And there you have it.

- 21:00Speaker 1: a Steve Harvey morning show coming up at the top
- 21:03Speaker 1: of the hour. In Entertainment News, Jonathan Majors breaks his
- 21:07Speaker 1: silence on the guilty verdict. Oprah Winfrey says there are
- 21:11Speaker 1: no issues between her and Taragi and comedian Joe Coy,
- 21:17Speaker 1: the comedian who hosted the Golden Globes Award Golden Globe Awards, Well,
- 21:23Speaker 1: he's responding to the backlash she received. We'll talk about
- 21:26Speaker 1: all of these stories at the top of the hour,
- 21:28Speaker 1: but right now it is time to ask the CLO
- 21:33Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. Karen and Tulsa.
- 21:36Speaker 11: Right.
- 21:36Speaker 1: My husband and I have a lot of phone sex
- 21:39Speaker 1: when he's traveling. Last week he called and woke me
- 21:41Speaker 1: up at three am, and I didn't know that our
- 21:44Speaker 1: five year old had snuck into my bed until my
- 21:47Speaker 1: hobby saw her fatal face on my phone. I told
- 21:51Speaker 1: her it was just a game. She told my mom
- 21:54Speaker 1: about the game. I can't punish her.
- 21:57Speaker 4: What do we do?
- 21:58Speaker 2: Nuts?
- 21:59Speaker 7: Hum, nothing, what you're gonna do? That's maybe growing on
- 22:03Speaker 7: to her, you know. She then told you, mamma, your
- 22:06Speaker 7: mama know what's happening.
- 22:08Speaker 2: So what Let's let me ask you something.
- 22:10Speaker 7: Why are y'all nowadays always feel like you gotta feel
- 22:13Speaker 7: like you explain some of your children.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Right where didn't come from?
- 22:18Speaker 9: Growing up?
- 22:19Speaker 7: Where they come from? What happened to? Shut your ass up?
- 22:24Speaker 7: You better not say nothing? How Yeah, because I said,
- 22:31Speaker 7: what happened to that?
- 22:33Speaker 10: Man?
- 22:34Speaker 2: Stop? What do we do?
- 22:37Speaker 4: Why?
- 22:39Speaker 2: I'll tell you what. I tell you what. I bet
- 22:41Speaker 2: your ass better not say nothing. I say something that
- 22:44Speaker 2: you want to see. What happened? Yeah?
- 22:47Speaker 7: That's where that that's to fix all for that next world?
- 22:51Speaker 2: Sure? All right?
- 22:54Speaker 1: Moving on to Henry and Schomberg, who says, my girlfriend
- 22:59Speaker 1: does accounting work part time at her church, but she's
- 23:02Speaker 1: never been overly religious. Lately she's been bragging about the
- 23:06Speaker 1: preacher and giving me advice that came from him. Is
- 23:09Speaker 1: she doing more than the books at church?
- 23:11Speaker 4: Hmm?
- 23:12Speaker 2: I don't know what what what in this question gives
- 23:18Speaker 2: us enough information to go? Where you going with this?
- 23:22Speaker 1: I don't know if she's quoting the pastor she's gotten off.
- 23:25Speaker 7: She's quoting the pastor maybe she been paying attention in
- 23:29Speaker 7: the service.
- 23:31Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 23:31Speaker 6: Look, I don't she's doing account.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Church didn't want to give you advice.
- 23:42Speaker 7: You know how many people ain't overly religious. People's at
- 23:45Speaker 7: the church right now. Yeah, it ain't just your girl,
- 23:53Speaker 7: So I wouldn't worry about it one way or another.
- 23:55Speaker 7: You know, if it's if its sound advice, just gone
- 23:57Speaker 7: and take it. You know, she getting some that's your
- 24:00Speaker 7: counselor from the pastor. It's all to help you.
- 24:03Speaker 2: So just yeah.
- 24:04Speaker 1: You know, a man doesn't want his woman coming home
- 24:07Speaker 1: and saying, well the pastor said this, and you know,
- 24:09Speaker 1: talking about another man.
- 24:11Speaker 2: You know.
- 24:11Speaker 7: Yeah, well see number one, all your girl did was
- 24:15Speaker 7: give her girlfriend the information she ain't got to go
- 24:18Speaker 7: in the house and say, pastor saying, see.
- 24:20Speaker 2: But the whole letter.
- 24:21Speaker 7: The question in this letter is what is she doing
- 24:24Speaker 7: with the pastor where she's getting all this inside information?
- 24:27Speaker 2: That's what this is about.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Here, well he yeah, he wants to know is his
- 24:32Speaker 1: girlfriend doing more with the pastor than just keeping a book?
- 24:36Speaker 2: You need to cut your seeing down. Sign here here
- 24:38Speaker 2: and here he Look, man, you know your girl better
- 24:45Speaker 2: than we do. What you think she and that you don't.
- 24:55Speaker 1: So your answers see al over?
- 24:58Speaker 2: My answer, Hell, we don't. You know how better we do?
- 25:01Speaker 2: You tell us what's happening.
- 25:03Speaker 1: All right, We're gonna move on to Tiffany then, since
- 25:06Speaker 1: that one straightened out, Tiffany and Augustus says, I'm married
- 25:11Speaker 1: and my husband has a son from a previous marriage.
- 25:14Speaker 1: The ex wife and stepdad gave his son a car
- 25:17Speaker 1: for Christmas. My husband feels disrespected. I told him that
- 25:22Speaker 1: he's overthinking it. Why is he upset at the stepdad
- 25:25Speaker 1: for buying the.
- 25:26Speaker 7: Car because he didn't? Stepdad, I bet your son ain't
- 25:34Speaker 7: mad at all.
- 25:37Speaker 2: You roll the damn step man, Daddy, Look what step vaught?
- 25:48Speaker 2: Your damn call that driveway. You can't call this phone,
- 25:50Speaker 2: this drive You need a ride, Daddy, here he buy
- 25:57Speaker 2: you a car for.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Oh.
- 26:00Speaker 7: I understand the father being upset because he got beat
- 26:04Speaker 7: to the punch. And maybe the stepfather could be a
- 26:07Speaker 7: little bit more affluent. You never know, you know, and
- 26:11Speaker 7: maybe he wanted to buy his son his first car.
- 26:13Speaker 7: Maybe that could happen, but you know it didn't.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Okay, all right, So moving on. Last one now, Steve,
- 26:22Speaker 1: this is from Prissy.
- 26:23Speaker 7: And he probably the look at the new stepfather. No,
- 26:28Speaker 7: he can't do nothing with him. That's why I had
- 26:29Speaker 7: the house. Complained it to the wife, because he can't
- 26:33Speaker 7: go over to buy him something else. And see what happened.
- 26:35Speaker 7: Now we can see what's happening right now, Pop, see
- 26:37Speaker 7: right there.
- 26:39Speaker 9: At my house.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm buying him My house was getting ready, all right.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Last one again, this is from Prissy and Danbury. Christy says,
- 26:54Speaker 1: I've been married for seven years and we have three children,
- 26:57Speaker 1: and I'm pregnant. Now I asked my Yeah, I asked
- 27:01Speaker 1: my husband about getting a sectomy. He said, what if
- 27:05Speaker 1: we get divorced and my new wife wants kids? He
- 27:10Speaker 1: has one foot out of the door. This is crazy.
- 27:16Speaker 1: That sounds like your answer.
- 27:20Speaker 7: Obviously, slanging is more important to him than anything. So
- 27:26Speaker 7: I don't even know why you're in here talking to
- 27:28Speaker 7: me about getting myself cut on because that ain't gonna happen.
- 27:30Speaker 7: Because if something happened to me and you, I got
- 27:33Speaker 7: to be able to go somewhere and reproduce. Now stop,
- 27:39Speaker 7: My job is to multiply what you're gonna try to.
- 27:46Speaker 7: You're gonna try to criss cross out the timetable. That
- 27:48Speaker 7: ain't what we're doing. I'm here to multiply. I'm the
- 27:53Speaker 7: I'm the X on the calculator, baby, I'm the ex factor.
- 27:55Speaker 7: I'm times this. Yeah, fine, what we've posed for having
- 28:02Speaker 7: us and my new wife and little kids, and I
- 28:04Speaker 7: ain't gonna give you while she pregnant. Dog, Yeah, you
- 28:12Speaker 7: better be. I don't think you should go to sleep.
- 28:15Speaker 7: It's pregnant on your ass. I don't know how you
- 28:19Speaker 7: make that statement that, thank you Finn to get some
- 28:21Speaker 7: shut ey not right.
- 28:26Speaker 4: He did.
- 28:27Speaker 2: There's a lot of stupid people in this world. Wow.
- 28:33Speaker 7: I had a friend one time told his wife, oh,
- 28:38Speaker 7: so you screwing roll now, I mean right up to
- 28:44Speaker 7: him and sending the.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Female we heard about that to walk right in there
- 28:57Speaker 2: to I.
- 28:58Speaker 7: Said that to him all right now with conviction didn't
- 29:05Speaker 7: So that's right up there with why would I get
- 29:08Speaker 7: a seconment? Then my new wife, my new wife won't.
- 29:12Speaker 4: Kid thank you.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Coming up in the I had some entertainment news for
- 29:20Speaker 1: you right after this.
- 29:22Speaker 2: That was entertainment news.
- 29:25Speaker 9: You're listening, Hardy Morning Show.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Actor Jonathan Majors has done his first interview since being
- 29:33Speaker 1: found guilty of harassment and assault in his highly publicized
- 29:37Speaker 1: domestic violence trial. Majors told ABC News anchor Lindsey Davis
- 29:42Speaker 1: that he felt quote absolutely shocked and afraid by the
- 29:45Speaker 1: guilty verdict. Major still denies in injuring his ex girlfriend
- 29:50Speaker 1: Grace Jabbar and said I was reckless with her heart,
- 29:54Speaker 1: not with her body. Jonathan also made headlines when audio
- 29:58Speaker 1: used in the case highlighted his infinity for Coreti Scott
- 30:01Speaker 1: King and Michelle Obama, both women he told his white
- 30:04Speaker 1: ex girlfriend to aspire to. During the interview, Jonathan also
- 30:08Speaker 1: mentioned his new girlfriend, Megan Good. He said she's an angel.
- 30:12Speaker 1: She's held me down like a Coretta. I'm so blessed
- 30:15Speaker 1: to have her. Majors, who will be sentenced on February sixth,
- 30:18Speaker 1: faces up to a year in jail.
- 30:22Speaker 2: He's referencing these people like that to the white Yeah,
- 30:27Speaker 2: I don't.
- 30:29Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yeah, he need to Okay, is he trying
- 30:34Speaker 10: to pick a role model for Is that what he's
- 30:36Speaker 10: trying to do.
- 30:38Speaker 1: I mean those are good reference Yeah, great, excellent.
- 30:43Speaker 7: However, well he might have to say Bob Streis said,
- 30:46Speaker 7: and Betty White something like that. Celine Dion, I mean,
- 30:50Speaker 7: you got to find something. But you know, man, I
- 30:54Speaker 7: feel for this cat because it just seems to wa
- 30:58Speaker 7: the way the convictions came down, and then the guilties
- 31:01Speaker 7: and they're not guilties. The pieces that they found him
- 31:03Speaker 7: guilty on and the not guilty pieces were so separated.
- 31:08Speaker 7: You know, he didn't get hit for anything of physically
- 31:13Speaker 7: abusing this woman. You know, he got hit with a
- 31:17Speaker 7: lot of difference. I didn't understand the way they broke
- 31:19Speaker 7: down the guilty and I've never seen somebody get off
- 31:23Speaker 7: with mo not guilties and then some guilties.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I didn't. I didn't understand it, man, And.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Then the whole thing running down the street and she
- 31:32Speaker 1: running after him, and on the video, Man.
- 31:37Speaker 7: Most dudes that's abusive to a woman is not running
- 31:40Speaker 7: from them. You know, I just found this whole thing
- 31:45Speaker 7: to be what they found him guilty of. It was
- 31:50Speaker 7: just just my opinion from what I saw because I'm
- 31:52Speaker 7: not really well versed on it because I didn't follow it.
- 31:55Speaker 7: What they found him innocent of was the real major
- 31:59Speaker 7: stuff they found him innocent of that, So I don't
- 32:03Speaker 7: know what they find The sentences do too, and all
- 32:09Speaker 7: that well.
- 32:10Speaker 1: In other entertainment news, Steve Oprah says there's no bad
- 32:14Speaker 1: blood between she and Taraji p Henson. Of course, Taraji
- 32:19Speaker 1: plays sug Avery in the movie The Color Purple, the
- 32:22Speaker 1: latest version. Oprah addressed the recent online rumors on the
- 32:26Speaker 1: red carpet at the Golden Globes. Take a listen, heerd,
- 32:29Speaker 1: I was trending yesterday.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Because people are.
- 32:33Speaker 7: Saying that I was not supporting Taraji.
- 32:36Speaker 8: Taraji will tell you herself that I've been the greatest
- 32:39Speaker 8: champion of this film, championing not only the behind the
- 32:44Speaker 8: scenes production but also everything that everybody needed. So whenever
- 32:48Speaker 8: I heard that there was something that people needed, I'm
- 32:51Speaker 8: not in charge of the budget because.
- 32:53Speaker 2: That's Warner Brothers.
- 32:54Speaker 8: You know, that's the way the studio system works, and
- 32:57Speaker 8: we as producers.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Everybody gets their salary that's in a negotiated by your team.
- 33:01Speaker 8: And so whenever I heard there was an issue where
- 33:03Speaker 8: there was a problem, there was a problem with the cars,
- 33:05Speaker 8: or there's a problem with the food.
- 33:07Speaker 6: I would step in and do whatever I could to
- 33:09Speaker 6: make it right. And I believe that she would even
- 33:12Speaker 6: vouch for that.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Wow, break it down.
- 33:17Speaker 7: See that's a person talking with some facts and the
- 33:21Speaker 7: realness of how this industry works. You have to be
- 33:25Speaker 7: careful when a person who claims to tell you're gonna
- 33:29Speaker 7: put the industry on front Street and not be willing
- 33:32Speaker 7: to tell you the whole truth. Because the real, whole
- 33:36Speaker 7: truth of the matter is, brother, you know how this
- 33:40Speaker 7: game works. We are all trying to find our niche
- 33:44Speaker 7: in this game and play this game so we can
- 33:47Speaker 7: support our families. And everybody knows that. Everybody knows that
- 33:53Speaker 7: because we don't control the system out here in Hollywood.
- 33:57Speaker 7: So when you talk about people got this lucky breaker,
- 34:00Speaker 7: this person was a plan or this person this he
- 34:03Speaker 7: all this and her. Hey man, just understand now, we
- 34:07Speaker 7: are all playing this game by the same damn rule.
- 34:12Speaker 7: We don't own none of these studios. We ain't got
- 34:16Speaker 7: we ain't got none of that. We we we don't
- 34:19Speaker 7: have that power.
- 34:20Speaker 2: One of the most powerful cats out there is Tyler Perry,
- 34:25Speaker 2: and he put himself on the map with that ownership
- 34:29Speaker 2: of his product and studios. Other than that, and even
- 34:34Speaker 2: Tyler still got to play the game.
- 34:36Speaker 1: Well, I mean, basically, that's what Oprah said. I'm a producer,
- 34:40Speaker 1: I'm not the studio. But even knowing that, she still
- 34:44Speaker 1: stepped in and helped them get what they needed. That's
- 34:47Speaker 1: what I loved about that story.
- 34:49Speaker 7: Yeah, that's why I say I applaud her for saying
- 34:52Speaker 7: and telling the truth about it.
- 34:54Speaker 2: So, you know.
- 34:56Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Finally, in entertainment news, Steve Joe Coy you know him
- 35:00Speaker 1: as a comedian right well, he hosted, of course, the
- 35:04Speaker 1: Golden Globes. It didn't go well for him. He was
- 35:08Speaker 1: a last minute pick for the gig. He responded to
- 35:10Speaker 1: the backlash on ABC's Good Morning America three Monday morning.
- 35:14Speaker 1: He said, quote, I had fun. You know, it was
- 35:16Speaker 1: a moment that I'll always remember. It's a tough room.
- 35:19Speaker 1: It was a hard job. I'm not going to lie.
- 35:21Speaker 1: I'd be lying if I said it doesn't hurt. Hosting
- 35:24Speaker 1: is just a tough gig. Yes, I'm a stand up comic,
- 35:26Speaker 1: but that hosting position. It's a different style. I kind
- 35:29Speaker 1: of went in and did the writer's thing. We had
- 35:32Speaker 1: ten days to write this monologue. It was a crash. Course.
- 35:35Speaker 1: I feel bad, but I got to still say I
- 35:37Speaker 1: loved what I did. Asked about the moments he regretted,
- 35:41Speaker 1: and Joe said that I think it was when Taylor Swift.
- 35:46Speaker 1: You know that joke went a little flat. He said
- 35:47Speaker 1: it was a weird joke, I guess, but it was
- 35:49Speaker 1: more about the NFL.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:52Speaker 1: I think the room was a little tight because they
- 35:53Speaker 1: didn't know.
- 35:55Speaker 2: I saw it.
- 35:57Speaker 4: It was tight.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, coming up at twenty minutes after the hour,
- 36:06Speaker 1: we'll talk about frisky fitness. Right after this, you're listening Steve.
- 36:12Speaker 9: Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Chaquille O'Neill's all Star Comedy Jam takes over Resorts World,
- 36:18Speaker 1: Las Vegas February ninth and tenth over the Big Gang
- 36:21Speaker 1: Weekend in Vegas. The comedy showcase is hosted by Dion
- 36:25Speaker 1: Cole and it features Dale Hugley, Earthquake, Deisy Banks, and others.
- 36:31Speaker 1: You could win a trip for two to attend the
- 36:33Speaker 1: show on February ninth, and this includes round trip coach,
- 36:37Speaker 1: airfair and a two Night Hotel stay. You can enter
- 36:40Speaker 1: now and get rules at Steve HARVEYFM dot com. It
- 36:43Speaker 1: is sponsored by AEG Presents and Resorts World, Las Vegas.
- 36:48Speaker 1: That's Steve HARVEYFM dot com for all the info. All Right,
- 36:52Speaker 1: we're gonna switch gears here now, guys. Frisky fitness, all right,
- 36:56Speaker 1: that's what we're calling this. Did your significant other join
- 36:59Speaker 1: us gym as part of their New Year's resolution? Be
- 37:03Speaker 1: careful because, according to sex expert Jessica Leoni, the gym
- 37:08Speaker 1: is a hot bed hot bed for affairs, especially in
- 37:12Speaker 1: the month of January when so many people are signing
- 37:15Speaker 1: up for gym memberships. Leone said went on to say

- 46:54Speaker 11: I don't know what could have gone.
- 46:55Speaker 5: Wrong with this now, No, that ain't right, man, that

- 49:24Speaker 5: not understanding what I'm saying, man, because I'm a sigma

- 54:18Speaker 1: Thank you nephew. Subject his sister catfished me. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:24Speaker 1: I'm thirty eight years old and I've been with the
- 54:26Speaker 1: same man for five years, and he's not focused on
- 54:29Speaker 1: marriage or taking our relationship further, but he won't let
- 54:34Speaker 1: me go. He accuses me of seeking attention from other
- 54:37Speaker 1: men because of the way I dress, and I see
- 54:40Speaker 1: that as him not trusting me. He's so paranoid all
- 54:43Speaker 1: the time, so I reassure him that I'm not up
- 54:46Speaker 1: to no good when I'm hanging out with my friends.
- 54:49Speaker 1: I told myself i'd give him another year to propose.
- 54:52Speaker 1: I would never tell him about my deadline because I
- 54:55Speaker 1: don't want him to propose unless he really wants to.
- 54:59Speaker 1: I took a short break from him, and I stopped
- 55:01Speaker 1: playing house. I went and stayed with my mom for
- 55:04Speaker 1: a month to force my boyfriend to take me on
- 55:07Speaker 1: dates and make time for me if he wanted to
- 55:10Speaker 1: have sex with me. During that time, I got a
- 55:13Speaker 1: DM from a handsome guy that said he saw me
- 55:16Speaker 1: at a career fare that I was speaking at. We
- 55:19Speaker 1: exchanged phone numbers and I gave him career advice and
- 55:23Speaker 1: helped him with his resume. I never talked with him
- 55:26Speaker 1: on the phone, only texts and emails. He wanted us
- 55:30Speaker 1: to meet up somewhere and I told him that I
- 55:32Speaker 1: have a boyfriend. That led to him opening up about
- 55:36Speaker 1: the trouble he was having with his love life, and
- 55:38Speaker 1: I told him about how my boyfriend takes me for granted.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Little did I know my boyfriend's seventeen year old sister
- 55:46Speaker 1: was catfishing me and I had been communicating with her
- 55:50Speaker 1: with her not the handsome guy. I was so busted.
- 55:54Speaker 1: My boyfriend broke up with me and I tried to
- 55:57Speaker 1: reason with him, but then I realized, I said, I'm
- 56:00Speaker 1: too old for games. I did not cheat or do
- 56:03Speaker 1: anything terrible. Should I stop fighting for this relationship?
- 56:07Speaker 13: Well?
- 56:08Speaker 1: Yeah, if you're asking me, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 56:12Speaker 1: absolutely yes, because what are you fighting for? You're not
- 56:15Speaker 1: fighting for anything. He's not worth it. What would you
- 56:19Speaker 1: be fighting to say you weren't happy with him anyway?
- 56:22Speaker 1: I mean, you said you've been with this man for
- 56:24Speaker 1: five years and nothing, no proposal, nothing, no working on
- 56:29Speaker 1: the relationship, trying to take it to the next level,
- 56:32Speaker 1: none of that. And all this moving in with your
- 56:35Speaker 1: mom to force him to take you out and to
- 56:37Speaker 1: want to have sex with you is crazy. I mean,
- 56:40Speaker 1: don't you know if he wanted to do any of
- 56:41Speaker 1: these things, he would and that includes proposing and his
- 56:46Speaker 1: sister catfishing you. What is that all about? This is
- 56:51Speaker 1: all just stupid and immature, and like you say, games,
- 56:54Speaker 1: he broke up with you over that. You didn't cheat
- 56:58Speaker 1: or do anything terrible. You said you helped this guy
- 57:01Speaker 1: with his resume, you gave him some career advice, and
- 57:03Speaker 1: you told him you had a man that took you
- 57:05Speaker 1: for granted, you never even saw this guy or talk
- 57:08Speaker 1: to him on the phone, and your man broke up
- 57:11Speaker 1: with you over that after five years of dating. I
- 57:15Speaker 1: think this incident just gave him a reason to do
- 57:18Speaker 1: what he's wanting, what he had been wanting to do
- 57:20Speaker 1: all along, and that was get out of this relationship.
- 57:24Speaker 1: So to you, I say the same thing. Get out
- 57:26Speaker 1: of this relationship, Steve Well, you're out of it because
- 57:29Speaker 1: he broke up with you, But get over it, Steve Well.
- 57:34Speaker 7: This letter kind of ignorant to me, So yeah, I
- 57:38Speaker 7: think I should address it as an ignorant person. Doing
- 57:44Speaker 7: more in twenty four is my new slogan. I've heard
- 57:47Speaker 7: that somebody said that anyway, so I've just adapted it.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Certainly.
- 57:52Speaker 7: Don't want to say I thought of it, because then
- 57:53Speaker 7: that'll be just something else my asston stole.
- 57:56Speaker 1: So it's just a letter.
- 57:57Speaker 7: Just say that, you know, talk about the damn stealing anyway.
- 58:05Speaker 7: God pray for me, Father, God helped that all the time.
- 58:09Speaker 7: I asked God to let that be more of him
- 58:12Speaker 7: and less of me in twenty four, mow you and
- 58:15Speaker 7: less me in twenty four. And I'm trying because to
- 58:17Speaker 7: me is so dominant. I want to say something and respond,
- 58:21Speaker 7: but the God in me is holding my tongue. This
- 58:26Speaker 7: thirty eight year old woman is a dating this man
- 58:29Speaker 7: that ain't thinking about her, really no further than what
- 58:31Speaker 7: it is.
- 58:32Speaker 2: He's really just got her dad.
- 58:35Speaker 7: His beckoning call seems to me he's not focused on
- 58:38Speaker 7: marriage or taking a relationship further.
- 58:40Speaker 2: But he won't let me go. No, no, no, no, no, no,
- 58:43Speaker 2: that's not true. It ain't that he won't let you go,
- 58:45Speaker 2: as you won't leave.
- 58:47Speaker 7: See, stop blaming me and for holding on to you,
- 58:51Speaker 7: when it's you that's holding on to them. Stop giving
- 58:55Speaker 7: a man that kind of power over you. It ain't
- 58:58Speaker 7: that he won't let you go. Is that you don't
- 59:01Speaker 7: have the courage to leave.
- 59:04Speaker 2: Now.
- 59:04Speaker 7: He's always saying that you're trying to seek attention from
- 59:07Speaker 7: other men because of the way I dress, and I
- 59:09Speaker 7: see that as him not trusting me.
- 59:11Speaker 2: Both of those things are true.
- 59:14Speaker 7: When you get dressed in the morning, ladies, don't you
- 59:17Speaker 7: dress to impress. It might be yourself, it might be
- 59:22Speaker 7: your coworkers, it might be your husband, But you dressed
- 59:26Speaker 7: to impress. Now, if somebody at the job get impressed,
- 59:30Speaker 7: then that's just bonus. But I put it on to
- 59:34Speaker 7: put it on, you know what I'm saying. I put
- 59:38Speaker 7: it on to put it on. And anyway, he's so paranoid,
- 59:43Speaker 7: and I got to reassure him that I'm up to
- 59:45Speaker 7: no good when I'm hanging out with my friends. I
- 59:47Speaker 7: told myself give him another year to propose, but I
- 59:49Speaker 7: would never tell him about my deadline because I don't
- 59:52Speaker 7: want him to propose unless he really wants to.
- 59:55Speaker 2: Well, that don't make no damn sense right there. That's
- 59:58Speaker 2: a mistake.
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: As if y'all don't start putting timelines on some of
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: these men, you ain't gonna ever get what you want.
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: Because as long as we get what we want, we cool. Now,
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: you did a smart thing. You took a short break
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: from me, man, you and you stopped playing house. You
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: went and stayed with your mom for a month to
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: force my boyfriend to take me on dates and make
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: time for me. If you wanted to have sex with me.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: That was a good move. It just you only did
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: it for thirty days. You should have kept that play
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: in place. We come back, we'll tell you about the
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: DM she got, how the catfish began.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: All right, Steve, hang on, we'll have part two of
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry letter subject her sister, His sister catfished me.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: The subject is his sister catfished me.
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: The thirty eight year old woman got this man that
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: don't half won hers, so she done played the games
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: with him and stuff. She ne set a deadline she
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: want a proposal in the year, but she didn't get
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: a guy the deadline, which now he don't know me
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: and stupid we don't take hints, So I think you should.
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: If you have a deadline, you ought to give it
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: to a guy and you said the reason you didn't
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: do that because you didn't want him to propose to
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: you unless he really wants to. Well, they won't. A
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: man ain't gonna propose to you unless he really want to.
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: But he ain't gonna give you a date unless he
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: know you really wont to.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: Hello. You see how it works.
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: So you know y'all can't have one without the other ladies.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: So you want to just stop playing house with him.
- 1:01:35Speaker 7: So you took a break from him and you went
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: and you stayed with your mom for a month to
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: force him to take your own dates and make time
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: for you if he wanted.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: To have sex with you during that time.
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: I got a DM from a handsome guy that said
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: he saw me at a career fair I was speaking at.
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: We exchanged phone numbers, I gave him career advice, helped
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: him on his resume, never talked to him on the phone,
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: only texting emails. He wanted us to meet up somewhere,
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: and I told him I have a boyfriend. That led
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: to him opening up about the trouble he was having
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: with his love life. And I told him about how
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: my boyfriend takes me for granted. Little did I know
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: my boyfriend's seventeen year old sister was catfishing me. Now,
- 1:02:14Speaker 7: for those of you that's like me that thought that
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: catfishing was a sporting in Mississippi and riverbanks, let me
- 1:02:21Speaker 7: help you understand something. Catfishing is when someone pretends to
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: be someone else without your knowledge, to get you to
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: perform some type of act, could get you to talk
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: or make a commitment. What I am keeping from you
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: whole time their real identity. That's basically what catfishing is.
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: The boyfriend's seventeen year old girl sent a picture to
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: her saying this is who I am. And I met
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: you at a place she was speaking at, and that's
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: what the catfish began. But because they didn't get on
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: the phone and have no verbal or face time. See
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: face timing stops all this. But because they didn't do
- 1:02:59Speaker 7: no faith, he's timing now You was communicating with his
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: seventeen year old sister who was catfishing you because she
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: don't like you anyway. And don't be surprised if your
- 1:03:13Speaker 7: boyfriend didn't put her up to it, because he was
- 1:03:18Speaker 7: jealous of you anyway. So he probably had his little
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: sister do this to set you up because he ain't
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: trying to marry you all the new way. He been
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: suspicious that you anyway, So now he thought he was busted,
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: and you said, I'm so busted. My boyfriend broke up
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: with me. I tried to reason with him, but then
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: I realized I'm too old for games. I did not
- 1:03:40Speaker 7: cheat or do anything terrible. Should I stop fighting for
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: this relationship? Shirley said you should, And you know what,
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: I agree with her one hundred percent, cause what you're
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: fighting for, you ain't got time for these games. Him
- 1:03:51Speaker 7: always a little ignorant ass sister, But he more ignorant
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: than the little sister is.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: At least she's seventeen. She done for a reason, catfished.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: So what you didn't do? Nothing?
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: You ain't meet with him. And then when he tried
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: to meet you told him you had a boyfriend. He
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: opened up about how he was having a hard time
- 1:04:10Speaker 7: with his girl. And then you said, your boyfriend taking
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: you for granted. Oh that's true. Now your boyfriend gonna
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: break up. Now he gonna make you crawl back. Now
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: y'all gonna start over, and now he gonna buy another
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: five years with you. That's how that's gonna work. Good riddance.
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: Next time you go to a conference to speak, you
- 1:04:29Speaker 7: need to spot a handsome guy and dm him. Quit
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: fooling with this man that ain't fooling with you. And ladies,
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: listen to me, stop expecting a man to get the
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: hints when we don't do hints well at all. If
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: you are giving your man a year to propose to you,
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: but you don't tell him he got a year, and
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: then he don't propose, and now you mad.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: No, if he has a year to propose, tell him.
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: Listen, you got one year to get yourself together. When
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: it comes to me, If you don't think you love
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: me enough in a year to want to spend the
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: rest of your life with me, then I will know
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: any year and we can part ways.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: That's what you have to do.
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: So stop talking about he wouldn't let you go. No,
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: you are afraid to leave, That's all it is. Any
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: questions ladies, surely?
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: Well?
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: I mean, what do you think why did he break
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: up with her? I think that he didn't do any
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: of these things because he didn't want to.
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: You know, he doesn't want to marry her. He's not
- 1:05:34Speaker 7: going to let the relationship move any further because he's
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: getting everything he wants. They play in house, he having sex,
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: he got the chicken, his dreams. You want the day
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: of your dreams when that ain't his dream. You making
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: all his dreams come true, but he ain't making none
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: of yours come true. So that's why ladies always have
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: to have that issue. That's soft ultimatum, yeah or else.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Or else you're gonna have nothing. And I don't see
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: what you're fighting for. Let him break up? Bye?
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Why is she she thinking that? It's him that's paranoid.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: It's him that's thinking that she's going out?
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: You know because man who.
- 1:06:17Speaker 7: Have great manipulation skills, and it will make you think
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: as you when it's them the whole time. The best
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: office is a good defense I mean, excuse me. The
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: best defense is a good office. If you throw in
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: shade and blame all the other person all the time,
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: they ain't got time to throw it on you because
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: they're over there playing defense.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: It's an old trick. Yeah, hen fools, you stop being fooled.

- 1:07:32Speaker 7: you tell him what it's gonna be.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Like we gotta go back to that same stadium too, Tommy,
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: thank you.
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, the Browns and the Texas playing that same stadium.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: I gonna say it. They're gonna clean up all this
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: confetti and get it ready for y'all, come living.
- 1:07:46Speaker 15: They're getting all the confetti up right now.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: They sweeping now, massage that massage that.

- 1:08:04Speaker 7: Behind to work on mycome work. But see, once again,

- 1:08:12Speaker 7: y'all what that got to listen to me because.
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: I done lost my whole life with the Browns.
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: See, I've had my hope snatched from me year after
- 1:08:26Speaker 7: year after year year.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: I ain't even that ain't even nothing to me. What
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: is gonna surprise y'all?
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: Y'all too young ass dummies sitting up in here actually
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: thinking y'all ass gonna win. And then if you don't, Oh,
- 1:08:43Speaker 7: I'm gonna be right here for you. Oh, I'm gonna
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: provide for you all the little words of encouragement that
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: you're gonna need. To know, because I've had it since
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: nineteen sixty folk. I watched the Browns beat the Baltimore
- 1:09:00Speaker 7: Coats and being the only championship. I was seven years
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: old and sat on the floor back against refrigerated.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: With my daddy. That's the last time. Well, let me
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: ask you that we ain't had it with all we got.
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: Well in nineteen sixty four when they won.
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: Was that when they was playing with the leather helmets? No, no, no,
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: damn damn, he said, tagging Julian, cause we got real
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: helmets and we used these real ones.
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: I ain't know in sixty four I had hairline to whatever,
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: how are we talking about helmets? And ain't you got
- 1:09:40Speaker 7: to put a helmet on your head? And then said
- 1:09:42Speaker 7: helmet hide your hairline? And ain't his head says hiding.
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: You see how I tied that out?
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: You tie that together. I didn't see it though, but
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: I did.
- 1:09:54Speaker 7: Now, I tell you one thing, I tell you one thing, y'all.
- 1:09:56Speaker 7: Be hope, y'all, y'all been a pray the large y'all with.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: All right, thank you Junior. Coming up at the top
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: of the hour. A man Steve on social media needs
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: some advice from you because of some drama over a
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: last name change. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: You're listening morning show, All right, Steve, here's a question
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: for you. This is from Wendell on Steve HARBFM. Wendell writes,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: I'm married into step parenthood situation three years ago, and
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: now there's some last name drama brewing up. My wife
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: hates her ex and I do my best to stay
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: out of it, first because I don't need to be
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: involved in it, and second, I don't want my stepdaughter
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: to hear me say anything negative about her dad. Now,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: my wife is upset that her daughter is not calling
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: me dad, and I think it's a decision she needs
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: to make for herself without pressure. As long as she
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: knows she's cared about, that's all that matters to me.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: It's also pressuring her law or her to go along
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: with changing her last name to mine rather than the
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: name she's had for the last twelve years. I can't
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: imagine how messed up it is for her to be
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: put in the middle of something like that. I need
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: to address it with my wife, but I'm not sure
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: how to. But I do think it's damaging inappropriate. Any advice, well.
- 1:11:22Speaker 7: I think you approaching this the right way. I mean,
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: I can only applaud you brother for taking his stance
- 1:11:28Speaker 7: that you're taking. That you're being so gracious towards your
- 1:11:34Speaker 7: daughter stepdaughter. I mean, that's the way it is. I
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: don't use the term step We just decided never to
- 1:11:42Speaker 7: do that. These are the kids, so other people got
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: to make their own decisions day life. You do it
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: the way you want to. But this man is being very,
- 1:11:50Speaker 7: very admirable towards the daughter. I can't imagine having her
- 1:11:54Speaker 7: having to do this. I think you're absolutely right. You
- 1:11:57Speaker 7: can't make these people call you dad. That has to
- 1:12:00Speaker 7: be a decision on their own, and I think that
- 1:12:04Speaker 7: that's the way you should approach it. I think you
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: talking to your wife should just be hey, look, let's
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: just give her time. She may come around, she may
- 1:12:14Speaker 7: want to change her last name. I've been in this
- 1:12:17Speaker 7: situation before.
- 1:12:19Speaker 14: Steven's saying like that the wife is still bitter with
- 1:12:23Speaker 14: the ex husband. That's what it sounds like. Well that's
- 1:12:26Speaker 14: what she said. Yeah, Yeah, that ain't bitter, that's hate. Yeah,
- 1:12:34Speaker 14: I'm familiar with both.
- 1:12:37Speaker 11: That.
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: Right now in two thousand and four, bitterness and hate.
- 1:12:40Speaker 7: You've all seen. Yeah, it's out there. It's a lot
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: of hate and bitterness. The woman hates it, so, yeah,
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: she wants to get rid of that. But you got
- 1:12:50Speaker 7: to give a little girl time to make the adjustment.
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: She's twelve, you know, she may eventually. Like I said,
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: I've lived that situation and two of my children changed.
- 1:13:02Speaker 7: They last Nay, they came and voluntarily wanted to do it,
- 1:13:07Speaker 7: and it happened. The third one didn't. It's cool with me.
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: It was an honor when they asked me. You know,
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: I felt very proud because I had lived enough for
- 1:13:17Speaker 7: them and been around him enough since they were young too.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: I fill the role, you know, I stepped in and
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: did the thing. And then our.
- 1:13:24Speaker 7: Applauds are who were father so to speak, for going
- 1:13:28Speaker 7: in and stepping in and filling the role because lot
- 1:13:32Speaker 7: of these fathers, some fathers walk away and they leave
- 1:13:36Speaker 7: these children with no doubty. Then another man come in
- 1:13:39Speaker 7: and fills the role. You go, get that dude around them,
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: applause man, because I came right there. He's a special
- 1:13:46Speaker 7: dude and there's a lot of men out there doing it.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Yeah, so how should he approach his wife?
- 1:13:54Speaker 7: You know, surely in twenty twenty four. You can listen
- 1:13:57Speaker 7: more twenty so listen to me. Let me well, I
- 1:14:04Speaker 7: guess so, let me reinerrate reinterrut a little degree, little
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: military school. I just think that you set your wife
- 1:14:32Speaker 7: down and say he listen, Let's continue to give her
- 1:14:35Speaker 7: the time she needs to come around. And she calls
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: me dad, that's fine. But the fact that I love
- 1:14:40Speaker 7: her and I'm gonna take care of her, that's good
- 1:14:42Speaker 7: enough for me.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: Right now.
- 1:14:44Speaker 7: I want you to take the pressure off yourself and
- 1:14:46Speaker 7: your daughter. I love the both of y'all. Let's just
- 1:14:50Speaker 7: live our life. If she comes around, she does. If
- 1:14:53Speaker 7: she don't, it's okay, too.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Great advice. We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: Show coming up twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: you're listening.
- 1:15:05Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: All right, Steve, here's a strange story from your favorite store,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: the Bass Pro Shop and Alabama.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: I know, we know how much you love this store.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: And Alabama man was arrested after a wild scene at
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: a Bass Pro shop. This was just outside of Birmingham.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: Police say forty two year old George oh went on
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: a rampage which began when he crashed his car into
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: a pole outside in the parking lot. From there, he
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: stripped naked, ran into the store and did a cannonball
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: into the large aquarium. Cops arrived and George climbed out
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: of the tank as they approached him, but he shouted
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: at them and dove back into the water. As officers
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: ordered him to get out, he climbed out and fell
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: to the concrete floor below and knocked himself unconscious. She's
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: charged with probably lewdness, disorderly conduct and so on and
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: so on and so on.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: So you love the.
- 1:16:09Speaker 7: Every bast pro shop has that giant aquarium in really
- 1:16:14Speaker 7: because they show you how lures work in the water
- 1:16:17Speaker 7: a lot of time.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: Oh, a lot of them had that. I'm not sure
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: if my favorite one down in making has it.
- 1:16:24Speaker 7: I don't remember seeing the one in making, but a
- 1:16:27Speaker 7: lot of them had the big aquariums in it. George
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: old and took his uh, he took his naked ass
- 1:16:36Speaker 7: down there and stood on the end of up tanking,
- 1:16:37Speaker 7: slipped and busted his head on that concrete.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Yeah, he knocked it up all right out.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: George coming up in thirty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: We'll play around it, would you rather. Right after this,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: you're listening.
- 1:16:53Speaker 9: Morning show.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: It it's time now for a round of would you rather?
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Would you rather? On a cold winter day, enjoy a

- 1:17:04Speaker 7: Junior, better eat that hot chili as soon as it

- 1:17:13Speaker 2: I want the Dumbo to Dumbo hot. Yeah, why your

- 1:18:15Speaker 11: No?
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: Crazy?
- 1:18:19Speaker 7: Because on forty eight hours when they find the phone,
- 1:18:23Speaker 7: they always wanted to talk to the last person that
- 1:18:26Speaker 7: talked to him. I've seen that on forty eight hours
- 1:18:29Speaker 7: murder investigation.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: But if he had a crisis, I'm not finna be
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: the last one.

- 1:19:39Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: Rake leaves?
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Okay, all right, the shovel snow? Yeah, all right. Would
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: you rather have average sex every single day for the
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: rest of your life or would you rather have great
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: sex for the rest of your life once a year,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: once a year.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: Take them average, Take that average. You just go and
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: just get used to it.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: That's today's round, and would you rather because we spend
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: most of the time talking about sickle cell.
- 1:20:13Speaker 4: Coming up?
- 1:20:13Speaker 9: In forty nine.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: Minutes after the hour, we'll have some closing remarks from

- 1:20:19Speaker 9: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: the day on this Tuesday. It's been a good day. Yes,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: thanks all earthly you don't want to.
- 1:20:31Speaker 6: Talk to me if I'm a sick sel Christ it
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: was good to then, so I find out.
- 1:20:37Speaker 7: Well, you know, hey, that's not what I'm here for.
- 1:20:40Speaker 7: I'm here for encouragement and uplifting and enlightened motivation the
- 1:20:45Speaker 7: dog side, I'm.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: Not the guy you don't encourage an uplift if he's sick.
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: Can you hear your motivational speakers?
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: What are you saying if he's not hearing me?
- 1:20:58Speaker 7: It's okay, okay, let me give you all the re
- 1:21:03Speaker 7: enactment A high went, Hey, Junia, what's going on with you?
- 1:21:05Speaker 13: Man?
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: He doing okay? Cool? He don't want to hear that
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: right now?
- 1:21:13Speaker 4: The fall.
- 1:21:14Speaker 7: Yeah, So what I can't have you do is still
- 1:21:17Speaker 7: my joy. I told you that I called uplift and motively.
- 1:21:25Speaker 7: Now you're trying to bring me down. I'm not having
- 1:21:32Speaker 7: a crisis. And what you're not Finns do put me
- 1:21:35Speaker 7: in the crisis. That's not what you're fitting in the man.
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: JUNI how you doing?
- 1:21:40Speaker 13: Man?
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: How everything going on? You're hanging in there? Soldier?
- 1:21:43Speaker 7: No click, get up out of here. In the time,
- 1:21:53Speaker 7: I can't help nobody that don't want help, listen to me.
- 1:21:59Speaker 7: I'm I'm in a motivation lifting business. If you don't
- 1:22:03Speaker 7: want to hear it today, then just do like he did.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: Let me know this.
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: Ay, what you want to hear today and you want
- 1:22:10Speaker 7: Wally in it, then let me let you waller in it.
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: When you feel better, you call me.
- 1:22:15Speaker 6: Yeah, come on, you do thelomks Man.
- 1:22:23Speaker 7: You know hey, listen, my clothes remarks is pretty much
- 1:22:27Speaker 7: it's on point. It's just to keep reminding people to
- 1:22:31Speaker 7: stay on the upside, man, Stay on the upside, y'all.
- 1:22:36Speaker 7: I'm telling you these are lessons that I've had to
- 1:22:39Speaker 7: learn in my life.
- 1:22:41Speaker 11: You know.
- 1:22:41Speaker 7: I was talking with the morning crew the other morning
- 1:22:43Speaker 7: when we first got back on the air. We hadn't
- 1:22:45Speaker 7: talked to each other since the break, and we were
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: all talking about everything, and you know the uproar and
- 1:22:49Speaker 7: everything that's out on the in and neet and all
- 1:22:51Speaker 7: this stuff. And you know what we all had a
- 1:22:54Speaker 7: general consensus was when I said, you know what, man,
- 1:22:57Speaker 7: I'm just gonna stay on the wall. I'm not coming
- 1:23:01Speaker 7: down off the wall to address nonsense. I'm not coming
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: down off where God has placed me to get on
- 1:23:10Speaker 7: the lower level. And I'm reminding everybody, listen, y'all, as
- 1:23:14Speaker 7: you go through your day, remember this. You are in
- 1:23:18Speaker 7: the pursuit of success and happiness.
- 1:23:21Speaker 5: All of you.
- 1:23:23Speaker 7: Everybody I know wants those two things in life, to
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: be successful and to be happy. And in your pursuit
- 1:23:30Speaker 7: of that, you have to remember that the devil has
- 1:23:33Speaker 7: one job and that is to rob you of your destiny.
- 1:23:39Speaker 7: That is the one job of the devil. He don't
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: care how he do it, and he will try and
- 1:23:45Speaker 7: attempt it by any means necessary. Your job is to
- 1:23:50Speaker 7: be aware of that.
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: Be aware. Do you know that the devil got.
- 1:23:56Speaker 7: Imps working for him twenty four seven, that they are
- 1:24:00Speaker 7: on call and they ain't got no problem doing his bedding,
- 1:24:06Speaker 7: And man, they just show up when you least expect it.
- 1:24:08Speaker 7: You could be going on with your life and then
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: here comes something, and you know what, you really got
- 1:24:13Speaker 7: to be aware of people. Don't let somebody if you
- 1:24:19Speaker 7: have a person in your life that's constantly bringing up
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: your past, to bring it up as current news, to
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: remind you of what you did or what you were,
- 1:24:31Speaker 7: and it has nothing to do with who you are
- 1:24:34Speaker 7: and where you are going.
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: Erase that person from your life. You don't need it.
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: Stay on the wall. Listen to me. Everybody makes mistakes.
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: There's not a living soul.
- 1:24:48Speaker 7: Be careful of people who are so eager to point
- 1:24:52Speaker 7: out everybody's mistakes, but ain none of them fingers pointing
- 1:24:55Speaker 7: at they self?
- 1:24:58Speaker 4: Who is this?
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: Ye who is out saying cast the first stone?
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: Throw it?
- 1:25:08Speaker 7: But it's amazing how they have thirty rocks and don't
- 1:25:12Speaker 7: and ain't nothing supposed to come at them. Y'all listen
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: to me, Uncle Steve had learned a lot. You know
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: what I told my team at the beginning of the year,
- 1:25:20Speaker 7: I'm battle testing. I'm battle testing, man. I've been through
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: it so many times on so many levels. I done
- 1:25:28Speaker 7: got accustomed to it. And you know the one thing
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: I've learned that what God has for you, do you
- 1:25:34Speaker 7: know there's nothing nobody can do about that.
- 1:25:36Speaker 2: Do you know that if God is moving you in
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: a certain place, on a certain level, do you know
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: that there's nothing that a hater can do, nothing unless
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: you stop, climb down off the wall and address it.
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: See when people, when you're.
- 1:25:56Speaker 7: Up at a certain level, as many of you are,
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: this is why you have. If you have a hater,
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: it's because you above somebody know that. That's why you
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: have a hater. But for them to throw the rock
- 1:26:07Speaker 7: at you, they got to throw up. Even if the
- 1:26:11Speaker 7: rock hits you from throwing from the lower position, it
- 1:26:14Speaker 7: don't hurt. But if you climb down off the wall
- 1:26:19Speaker 7: and you get on the same level as them and
- 1:26:22Speaker 7: they throw that rock at you, that one can hurt
- 1:26:26Speaker 7: you because you've lowered yourself to they level. Stay on
- 1:26:31Speaker 7: the wall, y'all, stay on the wall where God has
- 1:26:37Speaker 7: placed you. Don't let no man talk you off your position,
- 1:26:42Speaker 7: and don't let nobody bring up the past to keep
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: reminding you of what you were and what you used
- 1:26:48Speaker 7: to do, because that has nothing to do with who
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: you are and where you are going. God is in
- 1:26:54Speaker 7: the blessing business. I'm open for all of them. I'm
- 1:26:58Speaker 7: looking for a whole lot more. In twenty twenty four,
