Education Minister Calls for Stronger Disaster Preparedness in Homes and Schools
Minister for Education Hon. Kenson Casimir is encouraging stronger disaster preparedness in homes, schools and communities as Saint Lucia observes the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction and School Safety Week. Through the Caribbean Safe Schools Initiative, emphasis is being placed on resilient school facilities, disaster education, emergency planning and collaboration among families, schools and communities to strengthen national resilience.
