- 2:19Speaker 1: The fact that God woke you up and gave you
- 2:21Speaker 1: another opportunity. You know, every day you wake up, it's
- 2:24Speaker 1: another chance. It's a chance for all of us to
- 2:27Speaker 1: get better, to get it right, to get on the
- 2:29Speaker 1: right path, to stop heading the wrong way. Every day
- 2:33Speaker 1: you wake up, that's your opportunity. See, because He's gonna
- 2:37Speaker 1: keep waking you up because he has a plan for you.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You know, I don't know, uh you know, I don't.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know when he makes his call,
- 2:49Speaker 1: and you know who gets called home when I can't
- 2:52Speaker 1: explain it. I don't have that answer. I'm not him,
- 2:55Speaker 1: I'm not God. I don't claim to be. I don't.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I don't understand it all sometimes, but God has an
- 3:01Speaker 1: amazing way. But as long as he's waking you up,
- 3:05Speaker 1: I do know this. God ain't through with you yet.
- 3:07Speaker 1: God has a plan for you. Your job is to
- 3:10Speaker 1: identify identify the plan. You know. That's that's clearly what
- 3:15Speaker 1: I need for you to do. You know. Um oftentimes
- 3:19Speaker 1: the thing that you're looking for, it's right there inside
- 3:24Speaker 1: of you. You know. I can't tell you how many
- 3:27Speaker 1: people I meet, mister Harvey, Mister Harvey, can I speak
- 3:30Speaker 1: to you for a many year? Man? What's up with you? Man?
- 3:33Speaker 1: I was just wondering. Man, I've been trying to and
- 3:35Speaker 1: I want to know, Man, can you give me a
- 3:37Speaker 1: good agent? Can you give me a good lawyer? Can
- 3:41Speaker 1: you give me a good Now? Look, if you got
- 3:43Speaker 1: some legal problems, I understand you're gonna need some help
- 3:45Speaker 1: right there. But the majority of questions I get asked
- 3:48Speaker 1: is about their future, about their place in this world,
- 3:51Speaker 1: about their mission, about what they're trying to do, how
- 3:54Speaker 1: they're trying to figure out, and then how to go
- 3:57Speaker 1: about doing it. But the answer I must remind all
- 4:00Speaker 1: of you is always within yourself. It starts right there.
- 4:05Speaker 1: See a lot of people burn up a lot of
- 4:07Speaker 1: time looking around trying to find someone. If I could
- 4:11Speaker 1: just meet them, if I could just get on her show. Man,
- 4:16Speaker 1: if all, if I could just get to his show,
- 4:20Speaker 1: I beating made It's not That's not necessarily the case.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Because See, just like every time you put your put
- 4:29Speaker 1: your faith in a person or an event or currents
- 4:33Speaker 1: or some type of thing that you imagine yourself being,
- 4:37Speaker 1: and then that'll do it for you, imagine of all
- 4:40Speaker 1: the people who've made it without you know, I look
- 4:42Speaker 1: at everybody telling man, if I could get on so
- 4:44Speaker 1: and so show, that will do it for me. Man,
- 4:47Speaker 1: somebody else got on that show and they blew up. Man,
- 4:49Speaker 1: if I could just make it to that show, do
- 4:51Speaker 1: you know how many people have made it without that? So, see,
- 4:54Speaker 1: when you start focusing in on what your idea of
- 4:59Speaker 1: how to make it is, and your idea of how
- 5:01Speaker 1: to make it does not include your relationship with God,
- 5:05Speaker 1: you're spending your wills. Man, It's a vicious cycle you
- 5:08Speaker 1: in now, and I'm asking everybody to get out of
- 5:11Speaker 1: that cycle. Get out of looking for someone and something.
- 5:15Speaker 1: The answer is within you. God resides in you. That
- 5:19Speaker 1: burning thing that you have that you just can't get
- 5:22Speaker 1: out your head. That's a seed. God planet that that
- 5:26Speaker 1: that's a seed. It needs watering, nurturing, fertilizing, and that's
- 5:30Speaker 1: what it needs. It didn't it. Don't ever say, Man,
- 5:34Speaker 1: I need that other person right there now. Now people
- 5:37Speaker 1: you will meet. That a compliment you, and I can
- 5:39Speaker 1: assure you that God will put you in the right
- 5:41Speaker 1: place at the right time. I'm almost certain that God
- 5:44Speaker 1: will introduce you to everybody you need to be introduced
- 5:48Speaker 1: to to make it to wherever it is. You all
- 5:51Speaker 1: are trying to get to him. Talking about you and
- 5:53Speaker 1: God now. But the moment you're taken into your own
- 5:56Speaker 1: hands and you make the decision as to who you
- 5:58Speaker 1: got to get to you, it's clouded and muddied the waters.
- 6:02Speaker 1: See God's plan for you don't really need your help.
- 6:08Speaker 1: It needs your attention, It needs your focus, It needs
- 6:12Speaker 1: your faith, and it needs your hard work. But it
- 6:15Speaker 1: needs you to listen. Needs you to listen more than anything. Listen,
- 6:21Speaker 1: keep the faith and be willing to work your tail off.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I don't know how you think it can happen any
- 6:28Speaker 1: other way, But then again I do because I try
- 6:32Speaker 1: to make it another way. So I had to come
- 6:35Speaker 1: to the conclusion, Hey man, listen here, dog, this ain't
- 6:39Speaker 1: working for you. You gotta get some more God, here, man,
- 6:42Speaker 1: listen to me. The answer was always within me, the
- 6:48Speaker 1: moment I sat down with myself and told myself the
- 6:51Speaker 1: truth that a partner you ain't really all that they
- 6:55Speaker 1: a partner, regardless as to what people are seeing and stuff.
- 6:59Speaker 1: You ain't happy. Hey Pardner, this really ain't about you.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Hey Pardner, you really ain't all that good at this.
- 7:07Speaker 1: God is keeping you for a reason. Okay, hold up, Steve,
- 7:11Speaker 1: quit tripping. What I need to do. I just started
- 7:14Speaker 1: talking to myself and then I heard Bishop Jake's say
- 7:17Speaker 1: a couple of things. Then I was watching TV. I
- 7:19Speaker 1: heard Joel Oldstein say a couple of things, and I
- 7:22Speaker 1: went wild, man, Okay, cool, that's pretty slick. I'm gonna
- 7:26Speaker 1: try that. And when I did it, it changed my life.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I am telling you, man, it has been God this
- 7:33Speaker 1: whole time, and the God has been residing inside of me,
- 7:37Speaker 1: just like the God resides on the inside of you.
- 7:40Speaker 1: That's Him talking to you, telling you man, you are
- 7:43Speaker 1: to get it together. Man making you feel bad, it's
- 7:46Speaker 1: sending you on guilt trips, you knowing you wrong and
- 7:49Speaker 1: you out there wrong, and something telling you you all
- 7:51Speaker 1: not do it. Here's how you know. It's God. And
- 7:55Speaker 1: Bishop Olmer taught me this in his book He's Got
- 8:00Speaker 1: I can't think of the name of it right now,
- 8:01Speaker 1: but it's a really good book. But it says in
- 8:04Speaker 1: the Man. Bishop Olma was talking in this book and
- 8:07Speaker 1: he was saying, the way you know is not God's voice.
- 8:11Speaker 1: It's if it ain't no sin in it. See how
- 8:15Speaker 1: many times have you made up in your mind, I'm
- 8:19Speaker 1: gonna show this person or I'm gonna show that person.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna get this person back. You hurt me, I'm
- 8:24Speaker 1: gonna hurt you. You know the Lord don't like ugly.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I'll show you well, the Lord don't like ugly. But
- 8:31Speaker 1: no way in that doesn't safe for you to go
- 8:33Speaker 1: show them. It doesn't say that. See, so when you
- 8:38Speaker 1: strike out on that mission, you know the God knows
- 8:41Speaker 1: in my heart I loved you, but I got to
- 8:43Speaker 1: do this because you did me. Whoa whoa ain't got
- 8:46Speaker 1: nothing to do with God? Right there, you can take
- 8:48Speaker 1: him out of it. If it's God, has no sin
- 8:52Speaker 1: in it. So anytime somebody come to me talking about
- 8:56Speaker 1: the Lord told me to do this to you, and
- 8:59Speaker 1: that's the only reason I'm doing it. You need to
- 9:00Speaker 1: get yourself right with God. I heard all them threats
- 9:03Speaker 1: right there. That ain't God talking to me through you.
- 9:06Speaker 1: What are you crazy? If it's God, it has no
- 9:10Speaker 1: sin in it. So you got to be careful man,
- 9:12Speaker 1: when you're talking to people and we're gonna go down
- 9:14Speaker 1: here and we're gonna do this because this is the
- 9:16Speaker 1: right thing to do. If it has something wrong going on,
- 9:20Speaker 1: then it can't be the right thing to do. Took
- 9:24Speaker 1: me a minute to learn that one. But please get
- 9:27Speaker 1: that through your head so you can quit spinning yourself
- 9:29Speaker 1: around and remember everything you're looking for is within you.
- 9:34Speaker 1: It's all right there. Quit wasting your time looking around
- 9:39Speaker 1: all the time. Go to your God, man, talk to him.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Go to that spirit that's on the inside of you
- 9:45Speaker 1: that's calling you. Stop letting people shake your treat. At
- 9:49Speaker 1: the end of the day, somebody gonna be right, somebody
- 9:51Speaker 1: gonna be wrong. All right, y'all, we're gonna help going
- 9:54Speaker 1: day tripping a little bit, going through something. You're listening
- 9:57Speaker 1: tow ladies and gentlemen. It is upon us another day. Man.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I'm grateful too. I show am man, thank you, thank
- 10:08Speaker 1: you God, I show appreciate it. I ain't joking, man,
- 10:12Speaker 1: I appreciate it. Man, I appreciate it. That that incredible
- 10:17Speaker 1: gift of life, that incredible gift of a measure of health,
- 10:21Speaker 1: all of that. Man, Thank you, thank you, thank you,
- 10:25Speaker 1: thank you. This is the Steve Harvey Martin Show, Shirley
- 10:29Speaker 1: Strawbary caller for rel Mouth or the South, the Silk
- 10:36Speaker 1: Junior Government named Kills Spates, and the legend that is
- 10:42Speaker 1: nephew Tommy so Junior. Rod. Yeah, it's been real interesting
- 10:53Speaker 1: talking to you lately. What else is on your mind?
- 10:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you, man, I gotta ask you about
- 10:58Speaker 1: this man. He's sixty five, is in I don't know
- 11:01Speaker 1: you could explain this to be because I'm trying to
- 11:03Speaker 1: do something, because I got just got married. I'm trying
- 11:05Speaker 1: to make some things work. But my grandma was talking
- 11:07Speaker 1: to me other day. She said, just be faithful over
- 11:09Speaker 1: a few things and make you dole over many things.
- 11:12Speaker 1: And I look at your life, man, you look like
- 11:14Speaker 1: you've pretty been pretty faithful over a few things. Well,
- 11:17Speaker 1: I don't want to go get your grandmama. But what
- 11:20Speaker 1: that got to do with, man, I'm just trying to
- 11:24Speaker 1: make marriage. They want you to be faithful over all
- 11:27Speaker 1: the things everything. I wish it was a few things.
- 11:32Speaker 1: And once again, junior disrespect and I ain't gonna get
- 11:36Speaker 1: your grandmama. And I'm sure she had a perfectly good
- 11:38Speaker 1: reason for stating her case, based on the wisdom she had.
- 11:42Speaker 1: But you through marriage in man, and I don't know
- 11:45Speaker 1: what being faithful over a few things it's gonna help
- 11:50Speaker 1: you in a marriage with a woman who wants you
- 11:53Speaker 1: to be faithful in every dog old thing and any
- 11:58Speaker 1: other things. She thank old, I ain't never heard of it.
- 12:01Speaker 1: See the problem with your grandmama making that statement is
- 12:04Speaker 1: your grandmama, ain't your granddaddy. That's the whole problem. The
- 12:09Speaker 1: granddadda hadn't said, Dad, we'd be working with something right now.
- 12:14Speaker 1: But oh no, good old grandmama. Grandmama said a whole
- 12:17Speaker 1: lot of stuff didn't apply to me in life, but
- 12:20Speaker 1: it applied. But when my granddaddy told me stuff, yeah,
- 12:23Speaker 1: everything he said worked out. Yeah, yeah, that's why I Yeah,
- 12:31Speaker 1: So what that got to do and what you in
- 12:36Speaker 1: now be faithful over a fewtures. So here's what's gonna happen.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Let's say your wife asked you to do so and
- 12:43Speaker 1: you don't do it, and then she come to you
- 12:46Speaker 1: and say, with Junior, I thought I asked you to
- 12:48Speaker 1: take out to trash and you go, I ain't take
- 12:52Speaker 1: out to trash. I cleaned out the basement. That means
- 13:00Speaker 1: that he was being faithful over a few things. Oh,
- 13:05Speaker 1: she asked him to take out the trash. H he
- 13:09Speaker 1: ain't want to do it. But when is he gonna
- 13:12Speaker 1: do that? Though? Come on, Collins, say that again. When
- 13:16Speaker 1: an't you gonna take out this trash? Because? Yeah, see,
- 13:19Speaker 1: why are you over that being faithful over a few things? See,
- 13:23Speaker 1: that's what grandma was missing in that statement. It wants
- 13:27Speaker 1: again no disrespect to your grandma, But it would have
- 13:31Speaker 1: been way better had you listened to your granddad coming
- 13:36Speaker 1: up at thirty two minutes after the hour, the nephew
- 13:40Speaker 1: is here. He's gonna run that prank back right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 1: You're listening to show all right, it is time now
- 13:48Speaker 1: for the nephew to run that prank back. What you
- 13:50Speaker 1: got nough it's time to get some makeup done, Shirley.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Just a little bit of makeup. It's a little touch
- 13:55Speaker 1: up here and then a little bit here and a
- 13:57Speaker 1: little bit there, but more right here. Can you do
- 14:02Speaker 1: my makeup? Dog? If you would? Hello, Hello, manwe to
- 14:08Speaker 1: Brandy Police. Yes, this is Brandy, Brandy. My name is Carl.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I'm calling. I got a you came highly recommended. You
- 14:15Speaker 1: actually you're you actually are? I'm sorry, it is it may.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I don't know if I'm saying. As a makeup artist,
- 14:19Speaker 1: makeup style, that's what you what do you call it?
- 14:21Speaker 1: It's makeup artists. I'm a professional makeup artists, okay, and
- 14:24Speaker 1: you work at them, you work at the makeup counter
- 14:27Speaker 1: and correct. Okay, listen, I gotta I got a photo
- 14:31Speaker 1: shoot coming up, and I wanted to see about um
- 14:35Speaker 1: sometime this week, maybe the following week. You could actually
- 14:37Speaker 1: come and and I hired you to actually make me
- 14:40Speaker 1: up for my photo shoot. Is do you do a
- 14:42Speaker 1: lot of photo shoots at all? Or you? Yes, I
- 14:45Speaker 1: should do. I've been in the business for ten years,
- 14:47Speaker 1: so I've been around sever phollow shoots. Okay, good deal.
- 14:51Speaker 1: So what what's I mean? You have any time this
- 14:53Speaker 1: week that I can actually just come in and we
- 14:54Speaker 1: can do like a trial run or something. Yeah, I'll
- 14:57Speaker 1: actually be here Friday for about six hours with Friday
- 15:01Speaker 1: work for you. I'm here, I start at eleven. At eleven,
- 15:04Speaker 1: I mean I could come in late, maybe like around
- 15:05Speaker 1: three on Friday if you, if can you squeeze me
- 15:08Speaker 1: in at that time? Okay, what's what's so good? Is
- 15:11Speaker 1: there a certain makeup for men? It works out the
- 15:16Speaker 1: same as for women in frontal shoes. You just need
- 15:18Speaker 1: some type of crane foundation something to even out the
- 15:21Speaker 1: skin tone. U powder you down to take away the oils,
- 15:24Speaker 1: cover up any blemishes or anything like that. It's pretty
- 15:27Speaker 1: much the same. Of course, you don't get the whole
- 15:28Speaker 1: eyeshadow and lashes and stuff. But right, right, right, right right,
- 15:31Speaker 1: Well I'm not but I just try to, you know,
- 15:34Speaker 1: just trying to look good on camera. Uh, let me
- 15:37Speaker 1: ask you this. How much makeup have you done as
- 15:39Speaker 1: far as um men? You know what I mean? Yes, several? Okay,
- 15:43Speaker 1: I'm very comfortable with it. You'll be fine, trust me.
- 15:46Speaker 1: That's what I was really worried about it if you
- 15:47Speaker 1: were going to be comfortable with it, because I mean,
- 15:49Speaker 1: have you done. Um, I'm a little conscientious about a
- 15:53Speaker 1: few things, you know what I mean? And uh have
- 15:56Speaker 1: you have you how many butts have you done? I'm
- 16:00Speaker 1: sorry how many what like like like butts? You know
- 16:03Speaker 1: how many? How many butts have you made up? I
- 16:07Speaker 1: haven't made up any but like are you like you
- 16:10Speaker 1: mean like asses? Yeah, I mean you could see money.
- 16:12Speaker 1: I'm actually doing a nude photo shoot and uh, you know,
- 16:17Speaker 1: I got a couple of scratches and you know, some
- 16:19Speaker 1: old scars on my butt, and I you know, because
- 16:21Speaker 1: like you said, you know, I'm a little shy about
- 16:23Speaker 1: you know, some of that. So I was you could
- 16:25Speaker 1: actually hope you can actually make sure that those cars
- 16:28Speaker 1: don't show and you know you said you kind of um,
- 16:32Speaker 1: you know, uh make sure everything is doesn't look oily,
- 16:35Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And I just need to
- 16:38Speaker 1: get my own money out. Well, but I I didn't
- 16:40Speaker 1: when I didn't understand what you're talking about. I may
- 16:43Speaker 1: not be used to makeup, but I don't. I'm not seriously,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do your okay, but I mean were
- 16:48Speaker 1: just talking about makeup though, I mean, you know you're
- 16:51Speaker 1: talking about yeah, but I'm not about to put my
- 16:53Speaker 1: makeup brushes that I use on people's faces on your ass,
- 16:56Speaker 1: like to you tell your photographers just like photoshop that?
- 16:59Speaker 1: Because well, that's where I'm coming in to see you
- 17:02Speaker 1: on Friday. I want you to do everything and make
- 17:05Speaker 1: me up there in the store so I can see
- 17:07Speaker 1: what it looks like. I want to see what you
- 17:08Speaker 1: were going to come into my job and make me
- 17:10Speaker 1: do your like? What are you? What's planted? Are you? Where?
- 17:13Speaker 1: Did you think that was gonna work? You cannot come
- 17:15Speaker 1: into my job. How are you gonna come my job naked? Seriously?
- 17:19Speaker 1: I mean, well I was gonna wear a robe. I'm
- 17:21Speaker 1: not gonna just, you know, walk in there or not.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Don't you even think about coming into my job? Who
- 17:26Speaker 1: referred you? Who talks? You? Need to delete this number?
- 17:29Speaker 1: Do not. I'm not about to get this job done, okay.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I don't wonder about you. Why the problem with you doing?
- 17:38Speaker 1: What is the problem with you doing my butt and
- 17:40Speaker 1: putting some makeup on it? Now that I need to
- 17:42Speaker 1: buy you some brushes. I buy you some brushes and
- 17:45Speaker 1: you can take what I want you to buy me anything.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I don't want you coming into my job. I don't
- 17:49Speaker 1: want you calling me ever. Again to do any kind
- 17:51Speaker 1: of work. I'm coming in there, and I'm now listen,
- 17:53Speaker 1: I'm a professional makeup artists. Clearly you don't know what
- 17:56Speaker 1: that means. So then you will take out the part
- 18:01Speaker 1: that's bothering you and through the job. Lady, you know
- 18:03Speaker 1: what I mean. If my want to clear before I
- 18:08Speaker 1: get real ignorant, I'm not about to finish this conversation.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Do not come into my job. Do you not call
- 18:13Speaker 1: me to do your That's not gonna happen. So so so,
- 18:16Speaker 1: I guess it says to go around and let people
- 18:18Speaker 1: know that Brandy is not professional because you can't through
- 18:22Speaker 1: part restation is good in the streets. Boo, you can't
- 18:25Speaker 1: go around and tell anybody that I'm not professional. Nobody
- 18:28Speaker 1: ever called me to be there. Get some skincare for
- 18:30Speaker 1: your how about that? And then you won't need any makeup?
- 18:33Speaker 1: I know you. Then you're not gonna sit here now
- 18:35Speaker 1: start talking about my if I told you some of
- 18:37Speaker 1: my deepest secrets to let you know, I want to
- 18:40Speaker 1: come in there, get some mony that you're bad for
- 18:42Speaker 1: telling the stranger your deepest secrets. Okay, you know what,
- 18:45Speaker 1: I'm coming up to your store anyway on Friday, all right,

- 19:21Speaker 1: I am the manager? Now what Okay? See that's what
- 19:24Speaker 1: the damn problem is. You got your little self a

- 19:31Speaker 1: get their butt done, Okay, Look do you see, avatar?
- 19:35Speaker 1: The people have makeup all on they butt all on
- 19:38Speaker 1: their back and every where not you call them. You
- 19:40Speaker 1: call them and ask them to do your butt. Don't
- 19:42Speaker 1: call me. I'm hanging up. Do not call me anymore.
- 19:45Speaker 1: They are makeup artists. What are you look? This conversation
- 19:48Speaker 1: is over. Yeah, it's over because you know what you
- 19:51Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. You do you know who
- 19:52Speaker 1: you're talking to? Do you know who you're talking to?
- 19:55Speaker 1: Do you know who you're talking to? I know who
- 19:57Speaker 1: I'm talking to. I'm talking to Brandy, But do I
- 20:00Speaker 1: didn't know who brand is talking to? Clearly somebody who
- 20:03Speaker 1: is ignorant. Okay, well let me tell you who I am.
- 20:06Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:11Speaker 1: You just got pranked by your girlfriend, Carmen. You are
- 20:15Speaker 1: lie ye, I'll get off the phone. I'll get it.

- 20:31Speaker 1: for real? Get you some skincare get may. I got
- 20:35Speaker 1: one more thing. I gotta ask you, what is the
- 20:37Speaker 1: baddest And I'm talking about the baddest radio show in
- 20:39Speaker 1: the land, all the damn Steve Harvey Morning Show. Come on,
- 20:45Speaker 1: all right, thank you, that's not coming up next to
- 20:54Speaker 1: just ask the Cello Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey, and
- 20:58Speaker 1: the building ready for your love questions right after this
- 21:01Speaker 1: you're listening. Coming up at the top of the hour
- 21:07Speaker 1: and entertainment news, we have an update on the tragic,
- 21:10Speaker 1: tragic death of megast rapper Takeoff in Houston. Also, Sherry
- 21:15Speaker 1: Shepherd gets fat shamed on her own show, and celebrities
- 21:20Speaker 1: are leaving Twitter under Elon Must's new leadership. We'll talk
- 21:23Speaker 1: about all of these stories, like I said at the
- 21:25Speaker 1: top of the hour, but right now it is time
- 21:28Speaker 1: to ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. All right,
- 21:33Speaker 1: Alanna and DC says. I went to a woman's empowerment
- 21:37Speaker 1: brunch and I introduced myself to the group. One of
- 21:41Speaker 1: the ladies at the table said, that's her to the
- 21:44Speaker 1: lady beside her, I had a messy affair years ago
- 21:47Speaker 1: and my social circle won't let it go. I've moved
- 21:50Speaker 1: on and I'm married. Now. Should I keep defending myself
- 21:54Speaker 1: or stop going out two events? M No, you keep
- 21:59Speaker 1: living in your life. All the women in that group
- 22:03Speaker 1: is that that's her. Hello, keep living your life. You
- 22:10Speaker 1: ain't got to explain yourself to nobody. We all make mistakes.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Long as God forgives you, it is your opportunity to
- 22:18Speaker 1: get up and move on. People not gonna forgive you,
- 22:22Speaker 1: people not gonna forget. God washes the slates, slates, washes
- 22:27Speaker 1: the slate clean. I'm gonna go with the God part
- 22:30Speaker 1: of mine. Now you run up on me and you
- 22:32Speaker 1: remind me of something that I did, then I'm gonna
- 22:35Speaker 1: remind you of who you talking to, and then we'll
- 22:38Speaker 1: go from then. I bet the next time you see me,
- 22:41Speaker 1: you won't go that's him. Now, that's just me. But really,
- 22:48Speaker 1: for the most part, in all honesty, man, I don't
- 22:50Speaker 1: address nothing out there about me. I just keep on
- 22:53Speaker 1: living my best life. And there is most life. I'm
- 22:57Speaker 1: not studying. Nobody, hate, trolls, none of that. Do you
- 23:03Speaker 1: do your all right? Moving on to Mika and Columbia,
- 23:08Speaker 1: Mika says, my husband and I have a blended family
- 23:11Speaker 1: of five children. It's five year old got her tonsils
- 23:14Speaker 1: out and it was our weekend to keep her. His
- 23:16Speaker 1: ex wife came to see her and ended up getting
- 23:19Speaker 1: in the bed with her to watch a movie. I
- 23:21Speaker 1: didn't want to upset the kid, but I raised hell
- 23:24Speaker 1: with my husband. What does he what does he think
- 23:27Speaker 1: that was? Okay, got him? Who bit she got in
- 23:34Speaker 1: down the baby's bed, the baby's bed, yeah, uh huh
- 23:43Speaker 1: uh huh uh huh. Yeah, because it was their weekend
- 23:47Speaker 1: to keep five year old y'all, thank y'all smith, huh,
- 23:56Speaker 1: we're not fit the copan that close. Now, I'm all
- 24:00Speaker 1: for co parenting. I think it's great for the child,
- 24:03Speaker 1: but come on, now, I think what has to happen
- 24:07Speaker 1: is I think that the the mother should, you know,
- 24:13Speaker 1: be respectful of the current wife's house. That isn't with her. Now,
- 24:20Speaker 1: it's her baby. That's for damn show, and that don't
- 24:25Speaker 1: nothing supersede that that's her baby. She made that one. Yeah, yeah,
- 24:34Speaker 1: you know. But but then that's your house, right, and
- 24:40Speaker 1: so everybody has to respect each other in this case. Yeah,
- 24:44Speaker 1: there's certain boundaries. So you gotta understand the baby hurting
- 24:48Speaker 1: mind and oh that's my baby. But were you going
- 24:50Speaker 1: to get into bed though, Na, that's where we draw
- 24:54Speaker 1: the line. Yeah, that's what I think they should have. Yeah, yeah,
- 25:00Speaker 1: let her be with her baby. Yeah, you're gonna take
- 25:03Speaker 1: the baby this weekend? Yeah, because you cannot do m
- 25:10Speaker 1: Come on, I can't house. Yeah, I'm not gonna be
- 25:16Speaker 1: sleep good at all. I'm not staying on I'm not
- 25:18Speaker 1: gonna stay to the bed, just twiddling my thumb. But
- 25:23Speaker 1: she wants to know why is he think it was
- 25:25Speaker 1: okay for it for his ex to do that. He
- 25:27Speaker 1: don't know what to do first for him. Well, he
- 25:33Speaker 1: understands that it's her baby. She loves the baby. We
- 25:35Speaker 1: got on that he might not really think it's okay.
- 25:39Speaker 1: But what was he gonna say? No, don't comfort her.
- 25:43Speaker 1: She five been spending no time than with that baby
- 25:49Speaker 1: than you have from Bernard. Yeah, all right, at the hospital.
- 25:56Speaker 1: They should have just stayed at the hospital. Now, I
- 26:05Speaker 1: should have just picked up from the tonsil appointment, took
- 26:08Speaker 1: out of her mama house. You ain't going to live
- 26:11Speaker 1: in him, all right. Moving on to CC and high Point,
- 26:15Speaker 1: CC writes, My boyfriend stayed overnight at his baby mama's house,
- 26:19Speaker 1: so I threw a dozen eggs at his car. He apologized,
- 26:23Speaker 1: and we called the girl on the three way so
- 26:25Speaker 1: she could so he could tell her that he is
- 26:27Speaker 1: in love with me, not her. I feel bad about
- 26:30Speaker 1: what I did to his car, and I plan to
- 26:32Speaker 1: get it detailed for him. What else can I do
- 26:35Speaker 1: to keep him. We've done well well. The eggs in
- 26:39Speaker 1: the cars just a prelimb. What's really gonna happen to
- 26:43Speaker 1: your car? Via via caller for Real? See we have
- 26:50Speaker 1: we have a car criminal on our show. Allegedly. What
- 26:53Speaker 1: you're not gonna do? I'm sliding shoogar in the gas
- 27:00Speaker 1: take with the bus seat splitting, you know, stand wheel locking,
- 27:06Speaker 1: you know all that. You know. Allegedly callin for Real
- 27:13Speaker 1: has slid up on the car and removed the all filter.
- 27:17Speaker 1: You know how low down that is just the all
- 27:22Speaker 1: filter just you. You ain't even got to You ain't
- 27:26Speaker 1: even need a tool. You just slide up under there
- 27:28Speaker 1: and reach that all filter and turn it off and
- 27:32Speaker 1: walk off. Lord ha mercy. This is just the pre
- 27:39Speaker 1: limb as to what's going to happen to you, to
- 27:42Speaker 1: this man who wrote the letter the lady, Yeah, the lady. Yeah,
- 27:49Speaker 1: see you trip it. And so I don't know what
- 27:53Speaker 1: to tell you. But if I was the man, I
- 27:55Speaker 1: get out, yeah and all prove stuff to you and
- 28:01Speaker 1: all that. I'm not doing none of that, Oh okay,
- 28:05Speaker 1: all right, Oh no, I'm not getting nobody on the
- 28:07Speaker 1: three way because I don't know how that's gonna go feltas.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Don't never put yourself in situation where you ain't in control.
- 28:15Speaker 1: Can't have two women on phone talking about Joe ass don't.
- 28:20Speaker 1: All right, let's move on to Lukisha and Indianapolis, the
- 28:23Speaker 1: phone and the last one. For the past two years,
- 28:27Speaker 1: for the past two years, I've been dealing with the
- 28:30Speaker 1: man that is a four year He loves attending swingers
- 28:33Speaker 1: parties just to watch others have sex. Our sex life
- 28:37Speaker 1: is normal, one on one sex now, but is this
- 28:40Speaker 1: a sign that he is going to want us to swing? Hell? Yeah, fault.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Do you know what's coming? Y'all? Going down there then?
- 28:51Speaker 1: And he told you that's all he wanted to do.
- 28:55Speaker 1: What is you down there learning? Fault? Lass? Now, somebody
- 29:04Speaker 1: gonna be down now. I'm telling you, somebody gonna be
- 29:09Speaker 1: down there at the Swing a club that you gonna
- 29:13Speaker 1: want to swing with. Hey, all right, thank you, Celo.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:21Speaker 1: some entertainment. We'll have some entertainment news for you right
- 29:25Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show. Migos rapper Takeoff was
- 29:33Speaker 1: killed in an early morning shooting in Houston yesterday. The
- 29:36Speaker 1: twenty eight year old rapper in the Migos rap group
- 29:40Speaker 1: whose name is Kurz nick Ball, was shot and killed
- 29:44Speaker 1: outside of downtown Bowling Alley where private party was being held. Now.
- 29:48Speaker 1: This is according to bystanders. Takeoffs Uncle Quavo, also of
- 29:53Speaker 1: the Megos, was arguing with a group of guys. Takeoff
- 29:56Speaker 1: and others had Quabos back while he argued with the
- 29:59Speaker 1: guy is about playing basketball and then seconds later a
- 30:03Speaker 1: single shot was fired. Then a flurry of gunshots rang
- 30:07Speaker 1: out armed at a crowd of bystanders. There were reportedly
- 30:11Speaker 1: more than ten shots fired from at least two different guns.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Takeoff was reportedly dead on the scene with a gunshot
- 30:18Speaker 1: to the head or the neck. Houston Police Department held
- 30:22Speaker 1: a press conference yesterday afternoon and reported that a twenty
- 30:25Speaker 1: three year old male and a twenty four year old
- 30:27Speaker 1: female were also shot and are currently hospitalized. Houston Police
- 30:32Speaker 1: are asking for bystanders and witnesses to the shooting to
- 30:36Speaker 1: come forward with information about what happened. Wow. Wow, that's
- 30:42Speaker 1: it really is. Yeah, I don't know, nonsense, man, has
- 30:47Speaker 1: nothing to do with anything. Yeah, we really, man, we
- 30:51Speaker 1: were playing basketball. It makes no sense, man, what we're
- 30:55Speaker 1: doing out here. And I don't. I don't. I don't understand.
- 31:01Speaker 1: In the hip hop community today, it just seems like
- 31:07Speaker 1: there's no discussion. If you get out of line, we
- 31:10Speaker 1: kill them. Caryo it. If we disagree, there's an argument,
- 31:16Speaker 1: it's just gun violence. I just don't understand this, right.
- 31:20Speaker 1: And I'll tell you another sad thing too about a code.
- 31:25Speaker 1: It's sad that when you become successful, you have to
- 31:29Speaker 1: pull away. You have to pull away from the things
- 31:33Speaker 1: oftentimes that are dear to you. But oftentimes a lot
- 31:37Speaker 1: of stuff you have to pull away from. It is
- 31:39Speaker 1: not what's dear to you, it's just what you were
- 31:41Speaker 1: accustomed to do it. But Steve, you can't. You can't
- 31:46Speaker 1: always go back, Yeah, stand around and participate in the
- 31:52Speaker 1: things you used to be able to stand around and
- 31:54Speaker 1: participate in. Hatred out there and a jealousy, evil and
- 32:03Speaker 1: a spirit out there who he think he is. But
- 32:07Speaker 1: you don't be thinking that at all. And it's sad
- 32:11Speaker 1: man that you And this happens to so many by
- 32:15Speaker 1: young people today, and it happens from or what you
- 32:20Speaker 1: let's let's I'm just using this as an example. It
- 32:24Speaker 1: happens too often between a celebrity and a layman. And
- 32:28Speaker 1: I'm not to make one better than the other. I'm
- 32:30Speaker 1: just using this for a term so we understand what
- 32:33Speaker 1: we're talking about. It happens too often between a celebrity
- 32:36Speaker 1: and a layman, meaning a famous person, a non famous person.
- 32:42Speaker 1: But in your attempt to stay regular, in your attempt
- 32:45Speaker 1: to keep it real, in your attempt to be down,
- 32:51Speaker 1: you got to be conscious man the whole time, regular
- 32:56Speaker 1: stuff anymore. Once you become a celebrity, you just can't
- 32:59Speaker 1: but to try to ye to. But it seems like
- 33:03Speaker 1: week after week a rappers killed a hip hop artist.
- 33:07Speaker 1: It's like it's like a norm and it's it's not
- 33:10Speaker 1: It's not cool. It's just not it is it is
- 33:14Speaker 1: it is, Carla. That's absolutely true because the generations has changed.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I mean, if you look at the sports world, there
- 33:22Speaker 1: are no more great heavyweight champions, there are no more
- 33:26Speaker 1: black great heavyweight champions. Boxing used to be a means
- 33:32Speaker 1: to an end in our neighborhoods. Yeah, everybody wanted to box,
- 33:36Speaker 1: to be our lead, to be to be Joe, to
- 33:39Speaker 1: be Norm, and to be Sugar, to be Thomas Hearns
- 33:43Speaker 1: hit man out of Detroit. Everybody wanted to be somebody
- 33:47Speaker 1: because it was a way to a means to an end.
- 33:51Speaker 1: We don't have great black heavyweight champs anymore. There are
- 33:56Speaker 1: no more. There just aren't any the weight classes. Lord,
- 34:01Speaker 1: it's less of us in boxing, and so because less
- 34:06Speaker 1: of us throw hands. Now, I'm from the generation of
- 34:10Speaker 1: throwing hands. The video games now, I was watching two
- 34:17Speaker 1: guys the other day played this game called Mortal Comeback.
- 34:20Speaker 1: I've never seen it played before in my life. Most
- 34:24Speaker 1: people have. But I thought the fight was over because
- 34:28Speaker 1: this guy had took this act and split the dude's
- 34:31Speaker 1: head open and drugged him a little bit, and then
- 34:34Speaker 1: took these two knives and chopped him in the side.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I said, okay, he done. He got his ass up
- 34:41Speaker 1: and kept fighting. He got more lives. I'm so confused. Yeah,
- 34:49Speaker 1: I'm thinking game over. You gotta get you another person
- 34:52Speaker 1: man this one day. No, no, no energy pill or
- 34:55Speaker 1: something he got. I don't know what he got. And
- 34:57Speaker 1: he got up again. All the games I see now,
- 35:00Speaker 1: other than Madden's and in basketball, it's all fight and
- 35:05Speaker 1: killed games come back. This even Grand Theft thought with
- 35:10Speaker 1: the Grand Theft Auto is a violent game. Everything is violence,
- 35:14Speaker 1: and they normalize it to where these kids, they play
- 35:17Speaker 1: in violence and desensitized. Their music is violence. You play
- 35:24Speaker 1: in violence, Your music is violence. You're gonna be violent.
- 35:28Speaker 1: And they talk about as reflective of our society, but
- 35:32Speaker 1: you keep putting it on these young people man like, Yeah,
- 35:40Speaker 1: it's really sad, But the same thing is happening to
- 35:46Speaker 1: far too many of our young kids who ain't celebrities.
- 35:50Speaker 1: That's the real sadness too. That's true, that's true. They
- 35:54Speaker 1: don't get the coverage this one got. All right, all right,
- 35:58Speaker 1: we're gonna move on and switch gears a little bit
- 36:01Speaker 1: here coming up at twenty minutes after the hour. Election
- 36:04Speaker 1: day is coming up next Tuesday's November eighth, and we
- 36:08Speaker 1: need souls to the polls. We'll talk about it right
- 36:11Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show. We talked about gun
- 36:17Speaker 1: violence and our last break and gun violence and disregard
- 36:21Speaker 1: for life. Hour at an all time high. I think
- 36:23Speaker 1: we can all agree to that. And this is why
- 36:26Speaker 1: we must vote. Okay, we got to vote the right
- 36:29Speaker 1: people in office across our nation. We need stricter gun
- 36:33Speaker 1: control laws. Listen to this. In Chicago on Halloween night,
- 36:38Speaker 1: at least fourteen people, including three children, got shot in
- 36:42Speaker 1: a driveway and a drive by shooting while they were
- 36:46Speaker 1: gathered for a vigil. The suspects took off in a
- 36:50Speaker 1: dark suv after firing into the crowd. And then yesterday,
- 36:54Speaker 1: two police officers were reportedly shot in Newark, New Jersey
- 36:58Speaker 1: by a suspect armed with a long gun. One officer
- 37:01Speaker 1: was shot in the neck, the other in the leg.
- 37:03Speaker 1: The wounded officers were reportedly serving a warrant at a
- 37:06Speaker 1: home when shots rang out from either a window or
- 37:10Speaker 1: a roof. Law enforcement sources confirm the gunmen is still
- 37:14Speaker 1: at large. We have to get the guns off the streets.
- 37:17Speaker 1: We have to do this and out of the hands
- 37:19Speaker 1: of dangerous people. And one way to do that is
- 37:24Speaker 1: voting in the mid term elections on Tuesday. This coming Tuesday,
- 37:28Speaker 1: November eighth is election day. So you can go now
- 37:31Speaker 1: to when we all vote dot org and make sure
- 37:33Speaker 1: that you know exactly what you need to vote on
- 37:36Speaker 1: November eighth. We got to do what we can. We
- 37:39Speaker 1: have to do what we can. Here's the thing, this
- 37:43Speaker 1: whole thing with gun control and gun laws, the Second
- 37:47Speaker 1: Amendment is being held up by one party, that's the
- 37:52Speaker 1: Republican Conservative Party. They run on the Second They are
- 38:01Speaker 1: not about to do anything to slow the sale or
- 38:09Speaker 1: usage of guns. Did you hear what I said? They're
- 38:13Speaker 1: not going to do anything to slow the sale or
- 38:16Speaker 1: usage of guns, because if you use a gun, you
- 38:20Speaker 1: got to buy the gun. Money, money, money, money to
- 38:24Speaker 1: buy guns. Somebody got to sell a gun. The Republican
- 38:29Speaker 1: Conservative Party is not interested in taking guns off the streets.
- 38:34Speaker 1: They are interested in the profit that comes for the
- 38:37Speaker 1: use and sale of guns. Man, Come on, that's all
- 38:42Speaker 1: we're talking about here. And the fact, the real fact
- 38:46Speaker 1: of the matter that's happening is none of this is
- 38:49Speaker 1: happening to their children. No, they ain't went into their school,
- 38:55Speaker 1: they ain't affected they family. But when it does, and
- 39:00Speaker 1: inevitably it is going to happen because it starts touching
- 39:04Speaker 1: all of us. Then and only dan, will something happen
- 39:08Speaker 1: when the mothers who have given birth to these children,
- 39:12Speaker 1: because mothers ain't nothing coming in front of day babies. Nothing,
- 39:16Speaker 1: no policy, no party, no nothing. Yeah. So again, go
- 39:21Speaker 1: to when we all vote dot org and cast your votes.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Please coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Have you ever shown up at a party? Guys, listen
- 39:32Speaker 1: to this in a costume and you were the only
- 39:34Speaker 1: one wearing the costume. Think about this. We'll talk about
- 39:39Speaker 1: it when we come back. Okay, you're listening to show.
- 39:45Speaker 1: So Kim Kardashian showed up to Tracy Ellis Ross's pre
- 39:49Speaker 1: Halloween birthday dinner dressed as X Men character Mystique, only
- 39:54Speaker 1: to find out that no one else was in costume. Kim,
- 39:58Speaker 1: of course put the story on Instagram with the caption
- 40:01Speaker 1: that time I showed up to a birthday dinner in
- 40:03Speaker 1: full costume when it wasn't a costume party. The picture
- 40:07Speaker 1: showed Kardashian wearing a red wig, some creepy colored contact lenses,
- 40:12Speaker 1: and a skin tight blue latex bodysuit. Kim looked unrecognizable,
- 40:17Speaker 1: and Tracy Ellis Ross was looking very glamorous, very gorgeous,
- 40:21Speaker 1: in a red sequence jumpsuit with a matching jacket. So
- 40:25Speaker 1: I mean embarrassment for Kim, But um, have you guys
- 40:28Speaker 1: ever showed up at a party in costume and it
- 40:31Speaker 1: wasn't a costume party, or overdressed or underdressed, inappropriately dressed.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I've been to a pool party, and if you know,
- 40:39Speaker 1: black people, pool party different because we don't get into
- 40:41Speaker 1: pool right up, you know, pot ready, they in linen,

- 41:06Speaker 1: fourth grade picture day. I'm overdressed for four grade. I
- 41:11Speaker 1: am nine years old. While like I sell insurance. Why
- 41:13Speaker 1: I got on? Why I got suspenders on? What did
- 41:18Speaker 1: you do? Everybody? Gene and a polo shirt? Here? I
- 41:22Speaker 1: come in here, look with a briefcase, like I got
- 41:24Speaker 1: insurance policies in my hand. Yeah, overdressed for fourth grade
- 41:28Speaker 1: pitture day. I got to that. You don't played overdressed, underdressed,
- 41:37Speaker 1: inappropriately dressed for something. No, I'm not not for not

- 41:53Speaker 1: all us had on suits m we used at the
- 41:58Speaker 1: HBCU game. Well we do look like a bunch of
- 42:00Speaker 1: people's uncles walking around. Boom had on a big old hat.
- 42:05Speaker 1: I know you're dogging the hat is necessary. Oh that's
- 42:15Speaker 1: really I didn't I didn't really do costumes and dress
- 42:18Speaker 1: up and stuff like that. I don't I don't like Halloween.
- 42:22Speaker 1: You don't, you know what's it to like? I mean
- 42:27Speaker 1: he's dressing up the dress, dressed up in the costume.

- 42:37Speaker 1: I'm the oldest Halloween. I just don't never been. I
- 42:40Speaker 1: couldn't wait for Halloween BeO with. Even when you were
- 42:43Speaker 1: a kid, you didn't like. All I wanted was candy. Well,
- 42:47Speaker 1: you didn't like trick or treating, or you didn't wear
- 42:49Speaker 1: a costume. I wore a white T shirt one time
- 42:52Speaker 1: and some jeans or some sneakers. The lady on the
- 42:54Speaker 1: door said, what did you, little boy? I said, the
- 42:56Speaker 1: little boy down the street? She said, she said, you're
- 43:02Speaker 1: just a little smart ass. You don't give a one
- 43:07Speaker 1: piece of candy. Everybody getting too Well, that's okay, that's
- 43:10Speaker 1: the other house. What's your favorite candy? What's your favorite candy? Corn? Oh,

- 43:19Speaker 1: I if I could get an arm and Joy or
- 43:22Speaker 1: Reese cup? Now my favorite candy to this is two
- 43:26Speaker 1: favorite candies right now, Reese cup or peppermint patty. Remember, yeah,
- 43:37Speaker 1: that cool and it's like standing on the mountaintop. Remember
- 43:43Speaker 1: Patty jammed up in the crack of yo behind Steve.
- 43:52Speaker 1: So I don't want the candy now, I damn yeah,
- 43:56Speaker 1: I'll never look at it the same at all. And
- 43:59Speaker 1: I never had something y'all ain't never had no air
- 44:04Speaker 1: hitting no where that don't normally get air on it. Oh,
- 44:07Speaker 1: definitely feel like somebody blowing on it, but not a
- 44:12Speaker 1: piece of candy. It's like a cool and myth all refresh.
- 44:18Speaker 1: I don't see why y'all don't see that. I'm overjoyed
- 44:20Speaker 1: describing it right now. Yeah, a little too overjoyed. Man,
- 44:25Speaker 1: don't work with a bunch of people. Why, man, I

- 54:27Speaker 1: Here it is Drawberry letter, subject, I found his ring
- 54:32Speaker 1: in his sock. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married too
- 54:36Speaker 1: long to be dealing with the cheating husband at my age.
- 54:39Speaker 1: I'm in my mid fifties and I've been married for
- 54:41Speaker 1: eighteen years. My husband is almost sixty years old, and
- 54:45Speaker 1: I think he's up to no good because I've found
- 54:47Speaker 1: his ring wrapped up in a sock and stuffed in
- 54:51Speaker 1: his work boot. Let me give you all of the backstory.
- 54:55Speaker 1: My husband and I have two homes that we used
- 54:57Speaker 1: to live in before we bought our dream home. I
- 55:00Speaker 1: am the property manager of the houses and my husband
- 55:03Speaker 1: does the minor repairs. One Saturday, about two weeks ago,
- 55:07Speaker 1: my husband said he would be at one of our houses,
- 55:10Speaker 1: pressure washing the sighting and carport. He left the house
- 55:15Speaker 1: dressed like he was going to do heavy labor, and
- 55:17Speaker 1: I went to the movies with my nieces. When I
- 55:20Speaker 1: got home, he was on the couch asleep in a robe.
- 55:23Speaker 1: His clothes were thrown all over the room, so I
- 55:27Speaker 1: picked them up, took his wallet and his inhaler out
- 55:30Speaker 1: of the pockets and put them in the hamper. The
- 55:33Speaker 1: next day we had it out to church and he
- 55:36Speaker 1: didn't have his wedding band on. I asked about it,
- 55:39Speaker 1: and he said it must have fallen off the day
- 55:42Speaker 1: before as he was using the pressure washer. He said
- 55:46Speaker 1: it would get he would get it later when he
- 55:48Speaker 1: went to pick up the pressure washer. He left for
- 55:51Speaker 1: about three hours, and he came home saying he couldn't
- 55:54Speaker 1: find his ring. I already had found the ring when
- 55:57Speaker 1: I decided to wash clothes while he was gone. I
- 56:00Speaker 1: was gathering his socks and underwear from everywhere, and that's
- 56:03Speaker 1: how I found his wedding band. How it got there
- 56:07Speaker 1: is still a mystery, and he's playing dumb. I think
- 56:10Speaker 1: he lied about where he was and he took his
- 56:13Speaker 1: ring off and forgot he put it in his sock.
- 56:16Speaker 1: How else would it get in his shoe? Is my
- 56:18Speaker 1: husband a cheater or what? Well? Come on, yeah, come on,
- 56:26Speaker 1: get your lives together, your lives together, Get your lives,
- 56:34Speaker 1: get your lives together. I'm counting as gonna be. Please
- 56:40Speaker 1: don't worry. I won't let you down, baby, I won't
- 56:43Speaker 1: let you down. Nope. Uh, this doesn't look good for
- 56:46Speaker 1: your hobby at all. It does not taking your uh huh,
- 56:51Speaker 1: taking your ring off, wrapping it up in a sock,
- 56:54Speaker 1: then stuffing it in your boot. That was very intentional.
- 56:58Speaker 1: It just was he was trying to hide the evidence
- 57:01Speaker 1: that he was married, not to let whoever he was
- 57:05Speaker 1: with see that ring. And he didn't want to lose
- 57:08Speaker 1: the ring. Of course, he didn't want to lose it
- 57:10Speaker 1: because he knew he had to come back home to you.
- 57:13Speaker 1: The problem is, like you said, he forgot. See, he
- 57:17Speaker 1: forgot that. He hid the ring in his sock and
- 57:20Speaker 1: in his shoe, and he couldn't think of a good
- 57:22Speaker 1: lie fast enough to throw you off that he was cheating. Okay,
- 57:27Speaker 1: he couldn't throw you off. He didn't. He couldn't think
- 57:29Speaker 1: of anything quick enough. So you busted him. And that's
- 57:32Speaker 1: why he's playing dumb now, okay, that's why he told
- 57:36Speaker 1: you to lie about. He must have left it somewhere.
- 57:39Speaker 1: He didn't really know where it was. He was as
- 57:41Speaker 1: confused as ever. You definitely asked the right question, and
- 57:46Speaker 1: the answer looks like lying and cheating on his part. Absolutely,
- 57:52Speaker 1: you were right, Steve well Am, I surprised, not at all,
- 58:00Speaker 1: Shirley well Well, I have a twist to this because
- 58:08Speaker 1: c's some things in this letter that I found to
- 58:12Speaker 1: be a little bit telling. Shirley. Okay, Steve, my husband
- 58:17Speaker 1: almost sixty years old. I think he's up to no good.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Keywords think, no proof, no evidence, no nothing. So you're
- 58:27Speaker 1: gonna throw away eighteen years because you found his ring
- 58:31Speaker 1: in a sock. Well, let's talk about that stuffed in
- 58:35Speaker 1: his boot. Don't forget that stuffed in his boot for
- 58:39Speaker 1: safe keeping. Right, Well, doll got some houses, property houses.
- 58:44Speaker 1: You the property manager. He does the minor work on it.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Two weeks ago, said even gonna go to water house
- 58:49Speaker 1: and do some pressure washing of the siding and the cardboard.
- 58:55Speaker 1: So when he left the house, he left like he
- 58:58Speaker 1: was dressed to do heavy duty labor. You went somewhere else,
- 59:03Speaker 1: you came home, he was on the couch, asleep in
- 59:07Speaker 1: a robe, clothes thrown all over the room. Now, pressure
- 59:11Speaker 1: washing is hard working and you're gonna be tired. How
- 59:17Speaker 1: pressure washed a lot of stuff driveways at pressure wash
- 59:22Speaker 1: out driveway because we didn't have a pressure wash. I
- 59:25Speaker 1: had to use my thumb on top of that holes
- 59:28Speaker 1: make the word to come out. Yeah, I know what
- 59:30Speaker 1: you're talking about. Huh yeah, until one day we got
- 59:35Speaker 1: a pressure washing and I was so skinny I cut
- 59:38Speaker 1: the pressure wash on. It didn't knock my ass up
- 59:40Speaker 1: against the wall. So yeah, I know about pressure wash,
- 59:43Speaker 1: but it is hard work. And your man was tied.
- 59:46Speaker 1: So he came home and he took his clothes off
- 59:48Speaker 1: because they're nasty, and he was in the robes on
- 59:51Speaker 1: the couch sleep so so no problem. Now the problem
- 59:57Speaker 1: was you took out his wallet and his in halo,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: so now we got some more things. He had his
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: wallet and he left the house with his in Halo
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: was breathing. If you want to know if he was cheating,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: you should have checked that in Halo to see if
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: he was out of gass, because when you were in
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: there putting in that work you think he putting in,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: you're gonna have to go to your pump several times. No,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: oh no, see you was checking for the wrong. Ever then,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: ever Dice was in that empty ass in Halo. But
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: if he still had gassing in Halo, whatever he was
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: doing wasn't worth a damn. I got more when we
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: come back, all right, Hang on, Steve, Part two of
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: your responses coming up at twenty three minutes after today's
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: strawberry letter, subject, I found his ring in his sock.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. The subject is I found his Yeah,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: well so by eighteen years of man. She ready to
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: throw it out the window, and Shirley's here to help her.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Because the sixty year old man was doing labor on
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: one of the houses that they owned, power washing the
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: side of the house and the car poard. He left
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: the house dressed in heavy duty work clothes. When she
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: came home, he was asleep on the couch in a
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: robe and clothes. Strode all over the plate. Pressure washing
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: is hard work. We agreed with that. That's why the
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: man was at the house sleep. She picked up, took
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: his wallet and in halo out of his pockets, and
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: put him in a hamper. Now, let's think about this.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: I'm about to tell you why she's suspicious. But the
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: real way to find out, if you was a real,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: real investigative reporter and forensic science like most women are,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: you would have checked his in halo if he was
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: out screwing around, then in halo would have been out
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: of gas. But you did not check the in halo.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: The next morning, y'all head out the church, y'all a
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: good couple. So he head out the church and he
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: didn't have his wedding band on. I asked about it,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: and he said it must have fallen off the day
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: before as he was using the pressure washing. Yes, when
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: he was pressure washing, the pressure washing blew the ring
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: off his hand. Pressure washing can do that. Pressure washing
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: can do that, Shirley, You ain't never pressure washing, and
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: so that this one would have been all right, But
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I tell you where he blew it. He didn't use
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: that one, he said. And then when y'all, he said
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: he would go get it later. When to when he
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: went to pick up the pressure washing. He left for
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: about three hours and came home saying he couldn't find
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: his ring. He and the truth, he didn't find it.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I already had found the ring when I decided to
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: wash the clothes while he was gone. I was gathering
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: his socks and underwear from everywhere, and that's how I
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: found his wedding band. How it got there is still
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: a mystery, and he's playing dumb. Wait a minute, so
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you're saying, so I think he lied about where he was,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: and he took his ring off and forgot he put
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: it in his sock. How else could it get in
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: his shoe. It's my husband a cheetah all what see,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: lady here a part. Let me help him on some
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: things about us. First of all, he should have said
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: the pressure washer blew his ring off. He ain't used
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: that one. But that's good he didn't use that because
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: he didn't know. When you was at the house, you
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: found the ring that he had put in a sock
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: and stuffed it in a shoe and stuffed it in
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: his shoe. But now listen to this. Though he didn't
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: know where the ring was, that don't mean he was cheating.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Maybe when he got home and it was hot and
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: bothered from all that pressure washing, he took his ring
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: off to take a shower, and he was holding in
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: his hand to put it on the dresser, and it
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: fell in his sock. Don't let me down, Steve me.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I took my ring off to take a shower, and
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: I was holding it and I was fitting to roll
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: up my socks, and I must have dropped it in
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: the sock. That's where my damn ring is it's in
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: my socks? Thank you? Baby? It dropped in his sock?
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: How did it drop inside of his work boot? Because
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: when men take their socks off, they oftentimes put it
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: in their shoe. Hello, yes, hello, Tommy. Have you not
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: put your dirty socks in your shoe when you took
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: him off? I definitely have put them right back to
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: do it all the damn time. Junior, have you ever
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: did it? Yes, sir, Hello, it's a guy thing. So
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: so we've been to throw out eighteen years of marriage
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: because you have no evidence of cheating or whatsoever. You
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: just have evidence that he took his wedding ring off
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: and he didn't know where it was. And the reason
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: he didn't know where it was because when he took
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: it off to take the shower, it dropped in the shoe.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: He thinking, man, did it come off while I was
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: pressure washing? You said it dropped in the sock. At first,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: it dropped in the sock, and he put the sock
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: in the shoe. So was the son perfectly standing up
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: in the boot? I'd pick when you take your ring
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: off and have it in your hand and you put
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: your thumb on the back of your sock to pull
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: it down over your heel, and then you getting ready
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: to roll them socks up and put them in the boot.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: You can drop your wedding ring in that sock. I
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: thought the dresser. I thought, no, what nobody said nothing
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: about no dressing. You're nothing to trick me because nobody
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: said anything about the dresser. Know your lies now, yeah,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: I never said nothing about no dresser. So what what's
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: wrong with that girl? Damn? And you found it? Thank you?
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: What that guy do with cheating? Please leave your comments
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: on today's Strawberry Letter. I'll be dripping eighteen years down
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: the drain. You got no ain't no lipstick, ain't no
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: phone number, ain't no condom rappers, and you may just
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: break these people family. We're gonna stop doing man. Man,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: it's ring dropped in the sock. And Steve, that's where
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: you got any other proof that any coming coming up?
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Next Sports talk with Junior right after this. You're listening,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: all right? It is time now for junior and sports talk.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: What you got junior? All right, Shirley, listen the biggest
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: sports story guy right now. Man, uncle, I know you overseas,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: but listen, man. Steve Nash was fired from the Brooklyn
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Next yesterday. Man, they fired Well what after a two
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: and five start? They let Steve Nash go. They should
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: have gave him more time to that after the all
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: season he had. Kevin Durant wanted to leave then coming
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: back doing all these crazy people he gotta do with
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Kyrie Irving Kylee just off the chain, Kyrie. I think
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Kevin Durant never liked Steve Nash as a coach. Oh okay,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: really huh, Well, I'd make a great coach for the
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: next They just don't pay him. No wrong. What you want? Yeah,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: you want to get how much you think Steve Nash
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: making year? I probably say about ten me between five
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: and ten. Let's move on your face. I'm not gonna
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: go to that headache for that money. I do want
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: me to stop doing this here and go do that
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: then let me know no, sir, we don't want to
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: do that. Man. Okay, thank you, Steve Man, go take
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: you a break, man, you deserve it. Man. Look, the
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: replacement is look what they're looking for them. Replacement is
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: he gonna fit right into the suspended coach up in Boston.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Did not break a law. He did not commit a
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: criminal offense. Right, No, no, no, no, he has no charges.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: He just made a bad judgment mistake. But that boy
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: is a heck of a basketball coaching. Hate that he
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: messed that girl over like that and everything. But but
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: that ain't that's a personal business. That man deserves to
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: be an NBA coach. I can tell you NBA coaches
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: that ain't got caught that have, they're way way worse. Yeah,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: excuse me. Phil Jackson was dating Jerry Buss's daughter. Yeah,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: the owner's excuse me, Yeah, yeah, every day, sit every day, y'all.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: This has been going on. What what happened was he
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: messed around with the wrong chick, one of the executives wives,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: and then her husband found out. Well, what I was saying, Yeah,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: my daddy says, Son, you cannot eat where you do.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Do we have to? No, you need to hear that
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: I got you. Don't eat in the same area you
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: do do because you're gonna mess around and get some
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: dudo on your mouth and you ain't gonna like where
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: it tastes. All right, No time at home, because I
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: can't be standing there at that I'm cooking, and all
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: of a sudden you're sitting there and you do doing

- 1:15:18Speaker 1: at Riverband Maximum Security Prison in Nashville cut off his
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: own penis and split his wrist after he was denied
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: a food package that he wanted. Because he was one
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: month shy of his required six months of good conduct,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: corrections officers decided to stop feeding him to get him
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: to stop displaying unacceptable behavior. He was smearing pooh around
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: his cell. That was the unacceptable behavior. In retaliation, they
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: wouldn't give him no paint retaliation, get it off. But
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: I asked you for some paint. You know, I like
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: the paint. Okay, I'll tell you what opened the door? Now?
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Batis brown? Now? But what But he cut his penis off,
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: definitely don't need it, Tommy, in retaliation for not getting food.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: That's why he's I'll show you this is a dude
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: that here to need somebody in his sale to talk
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: to because he didn't run that by nobody, right. The
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: good news is that the doctors were miraculously able to
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: re attach his penis and he was sent back to prison,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: where he has remained in restraints. So that's good news.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I can't rub it. Oh, can't touch it. I don't
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: shut up in hire you to cut it off. You
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: stitched it back off. I can't rub it. Day all right?
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Coming up in thirty three minutes after, we'll play a
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: round of would you rather? Right after this, you're save
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show time now for a round of would
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: you rather? Would you rather burst out laughing in church?
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Or just bust out laughing during sex? Which one? Oh?
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: I didn't do them? Both of them? Really? What was
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: funny during sex? What me? Sure? I'm always funny? I
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: was killing it, you know what I mean, But I'm
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: sorry it didn't sound I'm always it didn't come out
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: to him. So I'm always funny when I'm having sex.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Let you have that one. I'd rather bust out laughing
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: in church. I've actually done it before, and the only
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: one laughing. What happened? The only one? We had a
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: guest pass and he was talking in it, you know,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: had this cadence that I thought was funny and didn't
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: a lot of you said, God, I don't know. Every
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: time he sucked that win in boy, I thought, whoa
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: I was in concert laughing? He said something real quiet
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: and church got quiet and they turned around. I was
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: laughing hard. I mess, uh uh, how embarrassing junior from you? Yeah,
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: I'm going on to church because if I'm getting something,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: I'm not laying. This is a serious moment from me
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: in your life. I've almost busted out crime before, but
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: I ain't all right. Would you rather? Would you rather
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: compete in a tworking contest or a pie eating contest?
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Those are your choices. I'm gonna do that, Pine, I'm
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: gonna go TI. Seems like you want to be able
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: to twork, though, Tommy, I don't. I don't see myself working.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: I don't you got the highs ass on the show. Hey, hey,
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: that's not what I mean. That is what exactly what
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: you meant what I meant, Surely said, Surely said Tommy.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: Seemed like you are to be incause you can dance
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: things that ain't you said? I know what you mean?
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Standing Yeah, what about you about? I ain't never tworked
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: in my life. You would be funny twerk boy because
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: you dance too. Could we could we change it from
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: a pinting content to a cobbleting content, because then I
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: want to end then either one. I'm bore of a
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: cobbler guy. But I did have the best cherry pie
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: I've had in in thirty years at a restaurant called
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: Butcher and Steel where. Okay, yeah, okay, that's hard to
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: find a good cherry Oh it's difficult. I find very difficult.
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: Good All right? Last one? Would you rather have sex
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: fully dressed or would you rather have sex naked in
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: the front yard? I didn't done both of them? Oh god,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: what is is my yard? And you can't? Yeah? He
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: has sex in the front yard? What what I need
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: to go to the back? What's the problem? Nothing? Apparently
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: with our last break of the day at forty nine
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, and we'll have some closing remarks
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: You're listening to show for are guys our last break
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: of the day on this Wednesday hump day. Two things
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: I want to cover before one thing before I cover
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: the election. The sadness of this young rapper take off,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: take off his life. You know, uh, you get notoriety
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: put on these issues when a person is famous, but
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: this is happening far too often for people who are
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: not famous. You know, you get the detention, gets highlighted
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: when it's one with quote unquote celebrity status. The sadness
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: of it all is this happening far too often in
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: our country everywhere. It's a combination of several things. It's poverty,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: it's lack of knowledge of self, it's it's gun policies.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: But it's just a it's the morality in this country,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: the morality that I see around the world. We are
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: so godless at times. You know, it's a it's sickening, man,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: that we don't have a value of life of one another.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: And it just goes and it just starts premeating everywhere,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: and you just see this man, and it's a sad,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: sad thing. You know, when these young hip hop artists
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: are losing their life like this, and it's just as
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: sad when these young men are losing their lives like
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: this to violence. I don't have an answer for it.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: The answer I have for it to require people to
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: turn to God. That's the solution. But who am I.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: I can't make that happen. You know, we can pray
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: for people. I've tried to be a person that talks
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: about the goodness of God and tried to live my
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: life as an example for my children of how to
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: be mistakes and all. I've been honest with them about everything,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: but I just it's just another another jewel in that community,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: gone and lost to gun violence amongst ourselves and until
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: we understand who we really are, the truth about ourselves
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: and who we are instead of having being led through
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: the institutional slavery that we are less than, and some
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: of us has taken on that mantra and really carried
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: it out all the way until we find less than
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: in other ones who look like us. It's a sadness. Man.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: I don't have dance and I don't have the time
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: to address it, but it's a sadness, man. I really,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: I really feel badly because I met them guys. Man.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: And there's so many stories out about what was happening
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: in the dice game, not a dice game, and an
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: argument about basketball, whatever it was, whatever it was, it's senseless.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: It don't make no damn sense. You can't make sense
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: of this. There was a dice game, there was at
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: a bowling that and he was talking about basketball. Man,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: oh man, oh man, oh man. Tragic, tragic. We've got
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: to vote everybody. This election is critical. It's important. We
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: cannot sit it out. It's a mere term. We showed
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: him in the general election. What could happen when we
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: turn out we turned Georgia blue for the first time.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Donald Trump needed eleven thousand votes. He put the phone
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: call in it's recorded where he was saying, Hey, man,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: all I need you to do is find me eleven
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: thousand votes. We know exactly what that. Men create me
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: eleven thousand votes so I can get back to being president.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: And then he premeated the live through the party that
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: the election was stolen and they've been running on that
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: can't still election in America. This is not a third
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: world country, it's two and they have no proof. If
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: they had proof, they would show it. It would be
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: a court case by now. But every Republican conservative judge
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: has turned it down. We got to vote, y'all. We
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: got to vote so we don't have somebody like a
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: herschel Walker becoming the Senator over a qualified, educated, smart,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: intellectual man like Senator Raphael Warnock. We're gonna replace him
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: with herschel Walker because they decided to move him from
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: Texas to Georgia to set up residents so they can
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: get a person of color in power, who would do
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: their bidding. We're not fit to let that happen. You
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: must think we're stupid, Well we're not. And you also
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: think we're gonna set it out because you didn't lie
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: to us about the poles. But every black person I
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: talked to has never been polled before. So who they counting?
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: They certainly ain't counting us. And I'm telling you the
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: trick that they use, they use it two ways. The
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: analytics prove if you can show a certain group of
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: people that they are so far ahead, that they'll get
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: complacent and they'll set it out, or they wait till
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: the right time and they show you so far behind
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: that it makes you think that you your vote ain't
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: gonna make a different. But that one vote, if a
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: million people felt the same way of that, they win
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: the election. That's the trick they use. Man, we got
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: to vote. Stop sitting around acting like you don't have
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: a voice. When you do so, when the policies keep happening,
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: can you please be quiet when things don't go our
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: way for our children and you and your group raise
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: your head up, can you please be quiet? So the
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: importance of in voting has always been the same. The
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: relevance has always been the same. The decision is in
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: your hands. You have to decide to vote. Brothers. I'm
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: asking you, I'm asking all the brothers out there to
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: get to the polls and show up. That's the missing
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: link in this election. We've got to get more brothers
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: to the polls. Brothers, I'm asking you, go to when
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: we all vote dot org. Get your voting status up.
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: You still or halftime, you can vote. You can make
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: a difference. That's the Steve Harvey Morning Show for today.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: God willing will see y'all tomorrow morning. In the meantime, Hey, listen,
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: talk to God. He'd loved to hear from you. Hey.
